- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on the don giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like the Millian buck things in the good together. Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join me. You turn, you're going to arm.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn. You haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out? The water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come Come on your baby dad, uh huh, I shore
- 2:03Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: oh Man got a radio show. Man got a radio
- 2:13Speaker 1: show and a whole lot mold too. Man. God is
- 2:16Speaker 1: good to me. I have no other explanation, if I
- 2:20Speaker 1: have no other explanation of my existence and where I
- 2:24Speaker 1: stand in this thing called life, except if it was
- 2:27Speaker 1: not for the goodness of God Almighty. If it was
- 2:30Speaker 1: not for His grace and his mercy, There's no way
- 2:34Speaker 1: I could exist the way that I do. I would
- 2:37Speaker 1: not be who I am or where I am. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: am who I am and where I am simply because
- 2:45Speaker 1: God is who he is. If it was not for God,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I would have no testimony for you, because I would
- 2:53Speaker 1: have failed every single test plain, pure and simple, I
- 2:59Speaker 1: can sit here today until you flat out that it
- 3:04Speaker 1: is purely because of God's grace and mercy that I
- 3:09Speaker 1: exist today because of His favor. See now He shows
- 3:13Speaker 1: us favor in life because of a combination of things
- 3:17Speaker 1: I've discovered. And this is not the whole answer to life,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I can assure you as not. But this is a
- 3:24Speaker 1: combination that I've grown to understand better and better, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: I wish I had gotten it earlier in my life.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But here it is. If you take faith and you
- 3:38Speaker 1: combine it with an incredible work ethic, then God has
- 3:48Speaker 1: the greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best
- 3:55Speaker 1: way I can explain success to you from my standpoint,
- 4:00Speaker 1: is the combination of faith and work that produces the
- 4:05Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See a
- 4:09Speaker 1: lot of times we want God to bless us, but
- 4:11Speaker 1: we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So now
- 4:15Speaker 1: we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see
- 4:18Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
- 4:22Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
- 4:29Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:32Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith intact through it all,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the
- 4:42Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See without
- 4:48Speaker 1: that what you want God to do? See, you can
- 4:51Speaker 1: have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 4:55Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:00Speaker 1: you favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
- 5:09Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:12Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:15Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:18Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:22Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:25Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:28Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
- 5:31Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
- 5:34Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
- 5:37Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 5:41Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 5:46Speaker 1: faith is. You know you're standing at let me give
- 5:49Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the cross walk with a
- 5:52Speaker 1: walk sign on it and the sign flashing on the corner.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Don't walk. Then that the signs say walk, What do
- 6:01Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Is well pretty good because guess what the signs say walk.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
- 6:12Speaker 1: the cross walk walking, So guess what you strike out blindly?
- 6:15Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
- 6:18Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
- 6:22Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
- 6:25Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
- 6:34Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
- 6:37Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
- 6:39Speaker 1: his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm working
- 6:42Speaker 1: towards right now gonna pay off later on. See, too
- 6:45Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. See, that's not
- 6:49Speaker 1: the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
- 6:54Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
- 6:57Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do. See if it's sick
- 7:00Speaker 1: in in it, it ain't God. You can just clear
- 7:03Speaker 1: on up right there. You can stop all the wandering.
- 7:05Speaker 1: If that's His voice talking to you, if it's the
- 7:08Speaker 1: right thing to do, if it's sin in it, it's
- 7:12Speaker 1: not God talking to you. Kill it. You you can
- 7:17Speaker 1: shut it down. You ain't got to wonder about it.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Go down there in secret venge that ain't God. Go
- 7:21Speaker 1: tell him off when you see him. That ain't God. Anything.
- 7:24Speaker 1: That's God's sin in it, is not God's voice telling
- 7:27Speaker 1: you to do it, So you can you can kill
- 7:29Speaker 1: that conversation to date. That's how you know. But if
- 7:33Speaker 1: you align yourself up man and you and what you're
- 7:35Speaker 1: doing is just and right and correct and pleasing in
- 7:39Speaker 1: the sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And see here's here's here's the best way I can
- 7:47Speaker 1: tell to it. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 7:52Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Let's say you set a goal a vision for yourself,
- 8:01Speaker 1: you know where you want to get to, You got
- 8:03Speaker 1: a good idea, and you own your way to going there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to get hard, when it gets difficult, and it
- 8:14Speaker 1: is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging, and
- 8:17Speaker 1: it is going to become challenging when it becomes all
- 8:21Speaker 1: three of those things. When it don't look like it's
- 8:24Speaker 1: gonna happen, don't stop and complain so much. But see,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I know he didn't bless me. But in the middle
- 8:31Speaker 1: of it, man, I felt a little heavy. And you
- 8:34Speaker 1: got to be careful when it gets hard for you,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because you'll find yourself complaining. And when you're complaining. See,
- 8:41Speaker 1: what you can't do is you can't complain so much
- 8:44Speaker 1: that you forget that the place that you're trying to
- 8:48Speaker 1: go to, you actually own your way there still. See,
- 8:53Speaker 1: don't get caught up into complaining and then lose sight
- 8:56Speaker 1: of your blessing that's actually happening to you. What really, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: of all the times to register a complaint to God,
- 9:04Speaker 1: to sit up and go, hey, man, I didn't want
- 9:07Speaker 1: to wanted to ease back into this thing. Ease back in, man,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you in It's it's a tornado world around you. You You
- 9:13Speaker 1: ain't got time to ease back in. You got it
- 9:16Speaker 1: going and jump back in it. It is what it is.
- 9:18Speaker 1: To whom much is given, much is required. Always appreciate
- 9:22Speaker 1: the blessings. Don't get so caught up into complaints that
- 9:25Speaker 1: you lose sight of the blessings. Man. God got a
- 9:27Speaker 1: lot for you in your life, man, but you gotta
- 9:30Speaker 1: have them two things, y'all. You gotta take that faith
- 9:33Speaker 1: and you got to apply a crazy work ethic to it.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And that creates the most opportunities for God to show
- 9:41Speaker 1: your favor. And when God starts showing your favor, man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: all of them seeds you plant, all of that, all
- 9:47Speaker 1: of that wheat you've been sewing, all of that hard
- 9:50Speaker 1: work you've been put in God to pay it off.
- 9:53Speaker 1: And he'll pay it off in ways that you don't
- 9:55Speaker 1: even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening to Save Harping

- 14:44Speaker 1: I got a Let's see, I got a GL five
- 14:47Speaker 1: fifty SUV Mercedes bends Uh black on black, got that
- 14:53Speaker 1: on the truck. We didn't, we didn't. We didn't wear
- 14:55Speaker 1: a car. He didn't. We didn't order a car. I
- 14:57Speaker 1: don't think. Wait, let me what address are you delivering
- 15:00Speaker 1: it too? Let's see here, I got some notes here
- 15:03Speaker 1: says this is a special delivery. Please put bowl on
- 15:08Speaker 1: top of it. It's a Christmas present and we're going
- 15:14Speaker 1: to West Timberlake, West Timberlake. Now that's that's that's not
- 15:21Speaker 1: our addressing. You sure it's for a delivery for Wilkin. Well,
- 15:25Speaker 1: let's say he purchased by mister Wilkins. Oh, here we
- 15:29Speaker 1: go going to uh Soundra, going to who Sundra are?
- 15:35Speaker 1: Uh Sundra is his ex wife. I am his current wife.
- 15:40Speaker 1: So you're telling me that he orders a car for
- 15:44Speaker 1: her a Christmas. Uh? This car here is from what
- 15:48Speaker 1: I understand man, looking at the I'm supposed to deliver
- 15:51Speaker 1: the actual title and everything. This thing's been paid in full.
- 15:55Speaker 1: He bought her a car. Are you saying there's no
- 15:58Speaker 1: Sundra there? Man? What are you telling I am telling
- 16:01Speaker 1: you that it sounds to me as if he bought
- 16:04Speaker 1: a car for his ex wife. That's how sad. And
- 16:07Speaker 1: you said, this is Sandra, Sandra, what's that address you
- 16:09Speaker 1: didn't give me? Give me that address one more time. Okay, wait, wait, wait,
- 16:12Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait a minute. I'll tell you what.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Let me try to call this other numbers phone number.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'll do that now. Don't call any other n What
- 16:21Speaker 1: I need you to do is bring the car to
- 16:24Speaker 1: my house. I'm gonna fix this. He bought her a car.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You bring the car to my house and I'm gonna
- 16:30Speaker 1: handle it from here. Well, ma'am, I'm supposed to take
- 16:32Speaker 1: this over for timber Lake. I'm supposed to take it
- 16:34Speaker 1: out there and I'll for timber Lake. You're gonna bring
- 16:36Speaker 1: that to my house and we're gonna deal with it
- 16:39Speaker 1: right here. I'm gonna get Charles on the phone, we're
- 16:40Speaker 1: gonna get Sander up here, and we're gonna handle it
- 16:43Speaker 1: right now. So you bring the phone over here. What's
- 16:45Speaker 1: your name? I'm perkins, ma'am. I'm just scre I'm just
- 16:48Speaker 1: got to drive the truck. I deliver these vehicles all
- 16:51Speaker 1: day long. And then you're gonna go ahead and deliver
- 16:54Speaker 1: it right over here, bring it over to my house. Now,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna call hush, get her over here. I'm gonna
- 16:59Speaker 1: get here, and we're gonna see why the hell he
- 17:01Speaker 1: doesn't about her a car? Okay, Well, I mean, I
- 17:04Speaker 1: don't mean any harm. Is any possibility that maybe she
- 17:06Speaker 1: just she deserves it and he wanted to give it
- 17:09Speaker 1: to no cause she's an ex wife. Did you miss
- 17:13Speaker 1: the point that I said, I'm his current wife. If
- 17:15Speaker 1: he's gonna be buying any type of car, the car
- 17:17Speaker 1: should have been for me. It shouldn't be for her.
- 17:20Speaker 1: When time, won't you be here with the car? Well,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I got, mam, deandres, I got. I'm supposed to let
- 17:26Speaker 1: deliver it off of West timber Lake. I'm not supposed
- 17:28Speaker 1: to come nowhere else. That's to West Timberlake. You're gonna
- 17:31Speaker 1: bring it to my house. That's what you're gonna do.
- 17:32Speaker 1: You're gonna bring that car. It's it's you're gonna bring
- 17:36Speaker 1: it to my house. And that's where it's gonna be
- 17:38Speaker 1: delivered to. I'm gonna fix that, you know what. I
- 17:43Speaker 1: want to pretty much stay out of this thing. All
- 17:44Speaker 1: I want to do is deliver this thing off timber Lake.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I think I've created a problem that that probably wasn't
- 17:49Speaker 1: even gonna be a problem. You already up. I just
- 17:52Speaker 1: I need to know a couple of things. Wait, when
- 17:54Speaker 1: did he buy his car? He told me? When that's
- 17:57Speaker 1: what he told me? When did anybody car? This car
- 18:00Speaker 1: was purchased about but right at a month ago, but
- 18:02Speaker 1: it just got delivered in last night. Also was a
- 18:05Speaker 1: special order car? Okay, well, I mean it five fifty.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's the biggest shuv they got, okay, I us okay,
- 18:14Speaker 1: h huh. Now wait when he came in that you
- 18:16Speaker 1: did you see him when he came in about a
- 18:17Speaker 1: car with him? Which somebody was you ma'am, I don't know.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I don't work inside the inside the dealership, man, I
- 18:22Speaker 1: just drive the cars and deliver them. Well, how much
- 18:25Speaker 1: is how much is a car? How much was a car? Uh?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Here on says ninety ninety eight right right at right
- 18:32Speaker 1: at ninety nine thousand dollars ninety eight dash, because you
- 18:35Speaker 1: said it was paid in full. I don't know how
- 18:38Speaker 1: have he charged it or whatever, but it says paid
- 18:40Speaker 1: him what you said, it was paid in full? So
- 18:43Speaker 1: you mean to kill me this fool that bought a
- 18:46Speaker 1: car for his ex wife and paid in full of
- 18:49Speaker 1: his ninety thousand? Now was that? I mean? I really
- 18:52Speaker 1: want you to try to explain that to me. Is
- 18:53Speaker 1: that what you're saying, ma'am? You you're asking me to
- 18:56Speaker 1: explain some stuff that seems like he needs to be
- 18:58Speaker 1: explaining to you. I'm to deliver the car car, you
- 19:01Speaker 1: have to have information that I need you. I'm trying
- 19:04Speaker 1: to figure some out right here, because when he gets
- 19:07Speaker 1: home is home and popping up in here? Okay, uh
- 19:12Speaker 1: now what's this right here? This is the got a
- 19:14Speaker 1: personalized license plate? What's what's you say? What's you say?
- 19:19Speaker 1: There's a personalized license plate here? I guess they'll put
- 19:22Speaker 1: those on one I get there there inside the vehicle
- 19:24Speaker 1: personalized license pase late, so you have to like special
- 19:26Speaker 1: order those, right, I'm it's got love X on here?
- 19:31Speaker 1: What you say, h l u v X so a
- 19:34Speaker 1: love X or love you know what? Bringing card of
- 19:39Speaker 1: my house? That's what you do? You bring the car
- 19:41Speaker 1: over here. You understand, br I'm supposed to take this
- 19:44Speaker 1: to t to timber Lake off timber Lake Drive, take
- 19:48Speaker 1: the car to bring that to my house right now.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Anybody gonna be driving a new car, it's gonna be me.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I can't believe that bought that enough cart? Do you
- 19:56Speaker 1: have my dress? Oh God, m up a forest. That's
- 20:01Speaker 1: my address. You bring that over here, and you bring

- 20:14Speaker 1: and I got one more note on here too. That
- 20:17Speaker 1: what what? What? What's it? Says Vernetta. Yes, I'm okay,
- 20:23Speaker 1: it says Vernetta. This is nephew Tommy. You've just been
- 20:27Speaker 1: praying by your husband Wilkins. Oh my god, I'm gonna
- 20:34Speaker 1: need me a drink. I'm gonna need me a drink.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I gotta ask you one more thing, baby. What is
- 20:40Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 20:43Speaker 1: the land see Steve Harry Morning Show. Well I thought
- 20:47Speaker 1: this was over. I was gonna take that trunk and
- 20:49Speaker 1: run over there, all right, thinking nephew, coming up next,
- 20:55Speaker 1: asked the Riddlo. That is, asked the Ready to Love offer, Sir,
- 20:59Speaker 1: that's up next right after this. You're listening to show
- 21:04Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour and entertainment news.
- 21:08Speaker 1: We need to ask the nephew. Nephew, we got to
- 21:10Speaker 1: ask you some questions about Friday's premier of Ready Love
- 21:14Speaker 1: part to Miami who it was good? I told, I
- 21:18Speaker 1: told you guys, what did I say? I say, this
- 21:20Speaker 1: right here is probably gonna be the best buy for
- 21:22Speaker 1: our episode. Yeah, and I really think it is. It
- 21:24Speaker 1: was good. It was a nice surprise. Um injured NFL
- 21:29Speaker 1: safety Damar Hamlin is talking now, all right, and make
- 21:33Speaker 1: a great progress, great progress. Praise the Lord on that.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And Al Broker returned to the Today Today Show after
- 21:40Speaker 1: a lengthy illness. But right now it is time to
- 21:43Speaker 1: ask the ridolo. Ridolo stands for Ready to Love Officer,
- 21:48Speaker 1: the one in Little Nephew, Thomas huh I Rio, here
- 21:54Speaker 1: we go, Quela and Pearland says, I'm thirty years old
- 21:57Speaker 1: and I met my husband while I was a dancer.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Now we've been married for almost a year, and I've
- 22:02Speaker 1: got a lot of money saved up that he doesn't
- 22:06Speaker 1: know about. Should I wait a few years into the
- 22:08Speaker 1: marriage to share this information with him? You got a
- 22:12Speaker 1: lot of singles, saved up, a lot of wares. I
- 22:15Speaker 1: know what you got. I know you got bags and
- 22:18Speaker 1: bad garbage bags of ones. And that man is trying,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I promise you to this day. He trying to figure
- 22:22Speaker 1: out why you got all these old clothes in the
- 22:24Speaker 1: garage when all these bags, I know them a wanes.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I know that when you're gonna have to break it
- 22:29Speaker 1: to him, you probably got about a two hundred thousan
- 22:31Speaker 1: dollars in ones, and I get it. But yeah, you
- 22:33Speaker 1: need to know you're all girl. I can't tell about
- 22:37Speaker 1: call when you when you when you're dancing for real?
- 22:39Speaker 1: Oh you got some paper you can I was sharley
- 22:43Speaker 1: first of all, but I'm not mad at her savings,
- 22:47Speaker 1: really careers. I ain't mad at your money has done wonders.
- 22:54Speaker 1: So uh, I think you should let you man. Well,
- 22:56Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. Everybody need a little
- 22:59Speaker 1: miss dig to thee. I think you save two of
- 23:01Speaker 1: them bags for yourself, but then other eight bags going
- 23:05Speaker 1: and let him know about that. You don't think so Shirley, No,
- 23:08Speaker 1: that's her hard earned stripper money. That she was on
- 23:12Speaker 1: the point. I thought, when we get into a marriage,
- 23:15Speaker 1: all this is ours together. I thought, no, you have
- 23:17Speaker 1: some together. But what you bring into the marriage should
- 23:21Speaker 1: be yours. That should be yours. What if something happens, Yeah,
- 23:25Speaker 1: you should have yours. He should have strippers get a pass.
- 23:30Speaker 1: First of all, it's oh exotic dance, it's dances. And
- 23:35Speaker 1: number two, that rule only applies when it's the man's money. Yes,
- 23:40Speaker 1: thank you. No, let's go back now. If she tapped dancers,
- 23:45Speaker 1: what kind of dances? Come on? We know, but okay,
- 23:49Speaker 1: we're saying dancers, but we know. Yeah, that's know what matter. Fact,
- 23:53Speaker 1: next time we go out, I'm gonna take y'all to
- 23:55Speaker 1: one of them spots and we're gonna get some wings
- 23:56Speaker 1: and stuff. It's really nice, really really nice place. Food
- 24:00Speaker 1: is dious. The food is delicious. All right, Yeah, I
- 24:05Speaker 1: think she should keep it. I don't know, right, yes, yeah,
- 24:11Speaker 1: she doesn't have to share that, Okay. Moving on to
- 24:14Speaker 1: Lawrence and Gary, Lauren says, I'm fifty nine years old
- 24:17Speaker 1: and I'm dating a thirty three year old woman. I've
- 24:20Speaker 1: been aboiding staying with her overnight because I have been
- 24:23Speaker 1: experiencing some incontinence at night. Um, yeah, you know when
- 24:30Speaker 1: you can't hold your urine, you know when you tinkle sometimes. Yes,
- 24:35Speaker 1: that's what he's saying. He can't, and he's saying he
- 24:38Speaker 1: can't pee in the bed with this fine woman. So
- 24:41Speaker 1: he wants to know. Should he tell her about his problem? No, Lawrence,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you don't. Don't. You're gonna pills at all. Listen. What
- 24:50Speaker 1: you need to do is get you some depends, but
- 24:53Speaker 1: some sexy they got sexy depends. Not that way when
- 24:56Speaker 1: you yeah, not that way when you sleep and you go.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Don't nobody know but you you're just laying there wet
- 25:02Speaker 1: with your depends on. But don't nobody know it's all
- 25:04Speaker 1: kept in. But you need to get you I would say,
- 25:07Speaker 1: get you some nice depends. Might a fact, double up
- 25:09Speaker 1: on him, because you might be going pretty strong. Double
- 25:11Speaker 1: up on him. Ride your depends out, y'all. What what
- 25:15Speaker 1: what I mean? He want to be with her, He
- 25:17Speaker 1: want to lay with her and cuddle with a fan.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You can lay then cuddle and pe at the same
- 25:21Speaker 1: time with them. Depends on cuddling. P You ain't never
- 25:26Speaker 1: done it. Before tried, Lawrence. Try. All right, we're moving
- 25:31Speaker 1: on to your Linde and Phoenix next to the last one.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Here we go, Your Linda says, My three year old
- 25:39Speaker 1: daughter walked in on me in the bed with a man.
- 25:42Speaker 1: She saw his naked body and asked what his you
- 25:45Speaker 1: know what was I panicked and said it was a fish.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Later she told her father that mommy's boyfriend has a
- 25:53Speaker 1: big fish, a salmon. This is sea bass over here, marlin.
- 26:04Speaker 1: So what is the question? What is what is she asking?
- 26:06Speaker 1: All right, I'm getting that, she says, And she asked
- 26:10Speaker 1: the run question to me. How do I explain to
- 26:12Speaker 1: her three year old what goes on at home stays
- 26:15Speaker 1: at home? That's not the question? Okay, So apparently apparently
- 26:20Speaker 1: apparently she's not with the father, right, no, no, no, yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: well no, now that she's with a man with a
- 26:26Speaker 1: big Yeah, that's pretty big fish that girl and saw
- 26:32Speaker 1: the girl three You didn't shock that. That's a lot nine.
- 26:34Speaker 1: The girl probably don't want to eat no fish for ever, now,
- 26:37Speaker 1: you know what I mean? The little baby. The baby's
- 26:39Speaker 1: mind is messed up. So now when she go to
- 26:41Speaker 1: school and they have fish sticks, there's no way the
- 26:44Speaker 1: baby gonna eat the fish sticks because she can saw
- 26:46Speaker 1: the fish in mama's room. There's just no way finding
- 26:49Speaker 1: nemo no more. That's completely She don't want to know aquarium,
- 26:54Speaker 1: none of that. She don't want to go visit the
- 26:57Speaker 1: aquarium in the city. You don't want to do none
- 26:59Speaker 1: of that. You don't want to go fishing. It's a
- 27:02Speaker 1: press a problem. You created the problem. You chose the
- 27:04Speaker 1: wrong animal. You should have chose something else, but you
- 27:07Speaker 1: chose the girls. What what what what animal? I don't
- 27:12Speaker 1: know squirrel? I mean, but not the fish, a rodent.
- 27:23Speaker 1: But but she's three, so it's it's kind of hard
- 27:26Speaker 1: to explain to a three year old at this point.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You can't really talk to a three year old. And
- 27:31Speaker 1: I understand you jump to conclusions and you chose the fish,
- 27:33Speaker 1: but now you've missed the baby. Mine up with the fish, Okay,
- 27:37Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no. In two fade, I mean, it's
- 27:39Speaker 1: really out. There's no baby, don't want no seafood, that's out, gumbo, nothing,
- 27:45Speaker 1: no shrim sho can't fish, Poe boys cam, nothing but
- 27:49Speaker 1: the good She can't go to New Orleans, she can't
- 27:51Speaker 1: go at all. What's the good news? Car. She's three,
- 27:55Speaker 1: She's remember she's three. Oh no, she's gonna be all
- 27:59Speaker 1: that kind of not on this fish round. Why God,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm like fish all right. Last one nephew, last one
- 28:09Speaker 1: Jerlyn and Upstate New York says, I'm twenty nine and
- 28:11Speaker 1: my little brother is twenty six, and we lived together.
- 28:14Speaker 1: His best friend and I have been sneaking around and
- 28:17Speaker 1: having sex when he's not home. I think it's time
- 28:20Speaker 1: to tell my brother before he catches us. He says,
- 28:23Speaker 1: it's best to keep this a secret. Why because the brother,
- 28:26Speaker 1: your brother gonna whip his ass. Only people walk around here.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You got to have my sister. You couldn't win anywhere else. No, yes, yes,
- 28:34Speaker 1: there's the reason why he wants to keep it the
- 28:35Speaker 1: six because you know the brother gonna that's gonna ruin
- 28:37Speaker 1: their friendship. All that the friend has really crossed the line.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Leave people's sisters the law. You have crossed the line,
- 28:43Speaker 1: not my sister. Dog. I don't want I don't want

- 28:53Speaker 1: not my sister, explain that part because some people don't
- 28:56Speaker 1: know that you know why, Well, your sister. Your sister

- 32:44Speaker 1: texted you. Yes. But I texted Tommy before the show
- 32:49Speaker 1: telling him something about the show, and Tommy just replied,
- 32:53Speaker 1: just watch the show. I was like, Oh, I'm a
- 32:57Speaker 1: real viewer, I'm a real let me put it out. Uh.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And this like like Shirley said, small alert if you,
- 33:03Speaker 1: if you, if you haven't seen it. But um, Rashid
- 33:06Speaker 1: and Simone from the UM Ready to Love Houston, which
- 33:10Speaker 1: was yeah when we were on when we were on
- 33:11Speaker 1: the resort. Remember when COVID first started, we got on
- 33:14Speaker 1: the resort and uh, those two got engaged on the
- 33:17Speaker 1: first episode, UM Friday Night, Ready to Love Miami, and Um,
- 33:22Speaker 1: it was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. She was so when I
- 33:26Speaker 1: say so blown away when a when a woman dropped
- 33:28Speaker 1: to her knees, dropped to your knees and start crying.
- 33:34Speaker 1: You you know she had no earthly idea. Yeah. I
- 33:38Speaker 1: was so proud of Rashid. That's my fred brother that
- 33:40Speaker 1: I'm so proud of him. Man, and I think they're
- 33:42Speaker 1: gonna be a beautiful power couple. She's she's the girl
- 33:45Speaker 1: is so smart. Um, she's a lawyer, she's amazing man.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and he's just yeah, he's a hustler, go
- 33:52Speaker 1: getter man. I bought I bought my car through him.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah. But they make a beautiful couple too,
- 34:01Speaker 1: And it was for the moment. It was spontaneous, and
- 34:03Speaker 1: it made everyone in Miami all the new Ready to
- 34:07Speaker 1: Love contestants. Yeah. They were like, wow, that's what I want.
- 34:12Speaker 1: They were so happy for them. Yeah, and it was
- 34:18Speaker 1: journey about exactly exactly, and then they yeah rushed and
- 34:22Speaker 1: Smane stayed around and gave them advice and told them
- 34:25Speaker 1: about their journey and all of that. So it was
- 34:27Speaker 1: really really a very well done show. Tommy, kudos, it
- 34:31Speaker 1: was good. It was good. Let me let me also
- 34:34Speaker 1: say this. I want to give also much love to
- 34:36Speaker 1: Joy and Clifton out of Decent, who are also engaged. Yeah. Also,
- 34:41Speaker 1: Tommy got two wedding bells about to happen. Baby, y'all
- 34:44Speaker 1: better ask somebody about Ready to Love. Two wed bells
- 34:47Speaker 1: about to happen, and I hope many many more are
- 34:49Speaker 1: on the way. I met Joy. She's beautiful, beautiful spirit
- 34:53Speaker 1: inside and out, beautiful. All right, So we're moving on
- 34:57Speaker 1: to Buffalo Bill's safety. Damar Hamilt and his breathing His
- 35:02Speaker 1: breathing tube has been removed, and he spoke to his
- 35:05Speaker 1: teammates on a video chat. Congratulations. That is wonderful, wonderful news.
- 35:10Speaker 1: This all happened just four days after his cardiac arrest
- 35:13Speaker 1: that occurred during the first quarter of the Bills game
- 35:16Speaker 1: against the Cincinnati Bengals. From his hospital bed in Cincinnati,
- 35:20Speaker 1: Hamlin told his Buffalo teammates, quote, love you boys. His
- 35:25Speaker 1: teammates stood up and clapped for him, yelled back lots
- 35:28Speaker 1: of weld wishes, well wishes, vice chair for Clinical Operations
- 35:32Speaker 1: at University of Cincinnati Health remarked, so we know that
- 35:37Speaker 1: it's not only the lights are on. We know that
- 35:40Speaker 1: he's home. Okay, I love that. I love that. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:47Speaker 1: Right now he needs to start talking to the coaching stayoffs,
- 35:49Speaker 1: seeing that he want to be on the coaching staff.
- 35:51Speaker 1: To hell with that feel. Get on the coaching stayoff. Now.
- 35:54Speaker 1: We are done with that feel. That's right coming up
- 35:59Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after the hour, we finally have a
- 36:02Speaker 1: House speaker and Democratic Representative Hakim Jeffries made history as
- 36:06Speaker 1: the first black lawmaker to lead Congress. We'll talk about
- 36:10Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 36:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. In political news, Representative Kevin McCarthy was finally
- 36:19Speaker 1: elected House Speaker after multiple desociations and fifteen rounds of voting.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Fifteen y fifteen rounds of voting, but eighty rounds of drawled.
- 36:30Speaker 1: He was sweat didn't didn't, Yes, they did. His election
- 36:37Speaker 1: came after a chaotic night on the House floor, which
- 36:40Speaker 1: included a confrontation between McCarthy and Representative Matt Gets during
- 36:44Speaker 1: the fourteenth round of voting. This was the longest speaker
- 36:47Speaker 1: contest in a hundred and sixty four years. Wow, I
- 36:52Speaker 1: saw that. And then they pulled the y back by
- 36:58Speaker 1: his nose. Everybody was saying, what is this the waffle
- 37:00Speaker 1: house of a House of voting? You're voting. You can
- 37:06Speaker 1: pull me back, but not by my nose, though, dog,
- 37:08Speaker 1: don't do it. Don't do it. Don't don't do don't
- 37:12Speaker 1: you do it? You don't nostrom me, you don't nostri me, don't. Yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 1: but applicant party is chaotic. Yeah, disarray right now, they're
- 37:21Speaker 1: in disarray. And we gotta say congratulations to Democratic Representative
- 37:25Speaker 1: how Kim Jeffries. He had mostly yes, becoming the first
- 37:31Speaker 1: black lawmaker to lead a party in Congress. Did you
- 37:35Speaker 1: see his speech and how he broke down the ADCs
- 37:37Speaker 1: of democratic values. I mean, that's definitely one for the
- 37:41Speaker 1: history books. Jeffries eloquently went down each letter of the
- 37:45Speaker 1: alphabet as he addressed Congress. He started off with, we
- 37:48Speaker 1: will never compromise our principles. I'll say it again, we
- 37:52Speaker 1: will never compromise our principles. House Democrats will always put
- 37:57Speaker 1: American values over autocracy, benevolence over bigotry, the Constitution over
- 38:04Speaker 1: the cult. When he got to f freedom over fascism,
- 38:08Speaker 1: and our favorite maturity over Mara Lago. And of course
- 38:13Speaker 1: he's referring to, yeah, the Trump compound down in Florida.
- 38:18Speaker 1: But I mean, yeah, his speech was incredible. It was
- 38:21Speaker 1: history making. Uh, you know, he deserves that. He's replacing
- 38:25Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi who held it down for so long, the
- 38:28Speaker 1: woman you know, for women and for all Americans. But
- 38:33Speaker 1: this is just you know, we're moving forward and this
- 38:35Speaker 1: is great, great news. In his speech he is spit
- 38:37Speaker 1: in Polish man. Yes he job, He's for the job.
- 38:43Speaker 1: And Nancy Pelosi she bowed out gracefully and let the move.
- 38:46Speaker 1: It's time for the new Democrats to take on nship
- 38:50Speaker 1: and move the party forward to see you know, to
- 38:54Speaker 1: these Republicans, I'm telling you they play these dirty games. Yeah,
- 38:58Speaker 1: they still are. Don't put them needs If they don't,
- 39:00Speaker 1: they don't put the kneeds of the people first party
- 39:04Speaker 1: overcod and Eddie. I'm happy to see House speaker came Jeffries.
- 39:11Speaker 1: But didn't Minority House Speaker didn't he um didn't. He
- 39:16Speaker 1: kind of put you in the mind of Obama. Yes,
- 39:24Speaker 1: all right, so he ran that speech. I'm sure he
- 39:25Speaker 1: ran that speech about Obama. Take a look he did.
- 39:28Speaker 1: You know he did? All right? Coming up next, New
- 39:31Speaker 1: Year's resolutions are hard work. We're gonna talk about our
- 39:34Speaker 1: resolutions for twenty twenty three right after this you're listening
- 39:38Speaker 1: to well, guys. Resolutions are hard work, as we know,
- 39:45Speaker 1: and many of us make New Year's resolutions each year,
- 39:48Speaker 1: vowing to do things like, you know, eat healthier, get
- 39:51Speaker 1: more exercise, save more money. Making the resolution is easy.
- 39:55Speaker 1: We know that making the resolution is so easy, But
- 40:00Speaker 1: making real change is hard. We know that too. Research
- 40:03Speaker 1: shows that it takes sixty six days to turn a
- 40:06Speaker 1: resolution into a habit, So that's a long time. That's
- 40:13Speaker 1: two months and some change right there. You know. So
- 40:16Speaker 1: have we made any resolutions and how are they going
- 40:19Speaker 1: so far? Anybody? I was told to make a resolution
- 40:25Speaker 1: by my husband. Okay, sit down, some more money. Oh,
- 40:34Speaker 1: stay out that mall. Swipe that card one more time,
- 40:38Speaker 1: See what happened. Swipe that VEX one more times. Where's
- 40:44Speaker 1: the funny? No, but one of our resolutions as a
- 40:50Speaker 1: family is to cut back on spending. Cutback surely on
- 40:55Speaker 1: eating out so much. I gotta cook more now. Yeah,
- 40:59Speaker 1: that's the goal. But it's just January. We'll see, hopefully,
- 41:02Speaker 1: because it takes sixty six days, Caroline, I'll be cooking
- 41:06Speaker 1: for sixty sixty right, and nobody doing that. You can
- 41:10Speaker 1: do it, surely can't do it, but you can do
- 41:14Speaker 1: it right there? Saving more money, that is my resolution.
- 41:21Speaker 1: You know. My thing is right now, getting healthier. I'm
- 41:23Speaker 1: pretty healthy. You know, I'm pretty healthy. But I want
- 41:26Speaker 1: to get even more healthy. Get serious about it. Um
- 41:29Speaker 1: you know I do walk every day. Um, So I
- 41:32Speaker 1: just want to get more healthy. Pay more attention to me,
- 41:35Speaker 1: the inside of me more than the outside of me,
- 41:38Speaker 1: I should say, because what's inside will come outside. But
- 41:41Speaker 1: that that's really my resolution just to stay healthy and
- 41:45Speaker 1: get even healthier. That is it. That is all. That
- 41:48Speaker 1: is it. It's simple and that's hard, you know, but
- 41:52Speaker 1: we all know that health is wealth. You know, health
- 41:54Speaker 1: is wealth. So there you go. Because I'm getting older,
- 41:57Speaker 1: you know, I'm getting older, so um, you know I
- 41:59Speaker 1: have but I have a daughter, I have a grandchild child,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I have two grandchildren. You know. I want to be
- 42:04Speaker 1: around for them and be able to play with them
- 42:06Speaker 1: because they love playing with me, running with me, all
- 42:09Speaker 1: of that kind of stuff. And I want to stay
- 42:10Speaker 1: healthy so I can do that, you know, for a
- 42:12Speaker 1: number of years. So there you go. Well you nephew, yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 1: because I'm cooking, go ahead, But you got mine? Is
- 42:22Speaker 1: mine is is actually more family time, as much family
- 42:27Speaker 1: time as I can as I can put out there,
- 42:30Speaker 1: because you know, twenty twenty two was devastating for me,
- 42:33Speaker 1: so and I just I just started thinking about how
- 42:36Speaker 1: much time I need this most time, I want to
- 42:38Speaker 1: spend with my family and enjoy them and have fun
- 42:40Speaker 1: with him. And I do that a lot, but I
- 42:42Speaker 1: want to do it even more. And you know, my
- 42:45Speaker 1: little girl is in college and I was like why
- 42:47Speaker 1: I look up, It's like where did the time go.
- 42:49Speaker 1: She's eighteen years old, she's in school and she's already
- 42:53Speaker 1: she's a she's a writer on the school newspaper. And
- 42:55Speaker 1: I'm like, where did the time go? So now I
- 42:58Speaker 1: got this eleven year old he at home and you
- 43:02Speaker 1: know he rich? Did I tell y'all? He rich? He
- 43:08Speaker 1: don't know nothing else. He is rich. His lifestyle, lifestyle,
- 43:13Speaker 1: And I'll be looking at him like you don't understand.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Like my oldest son who's twenty five, trade trade was
- 43:18Speaker 1: there doing the struggle, you know, Sydney was there doing
- 43:22Speaker 1: the transition of getting thing. Life is getting better. Yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 1: Jordan is rich. He don't know what them other two
- 43:30Speaker 1: went through. And he don't want to hear nothing about
- 43:31Speaker 1: what they went through. I don't want to hear that
- 43:35Speaker 1: what you went through. I got about a care But Tommy,
- 43:39Speaker 1: can I can I give you a compliment? And I
- 43:41Speaker 1: say this about you all the time. You are an
- 43:45Speaker 1: excellent father. Yes, you know, I mean, I know you say, yeah,
- 43:49Speaker 1: he is right, Carla, And I know you say you
- 43:51Speaker 1: want to spend more time with them, but and I
- 43:54Speaker 1: get that, and you should, of course, But out of
- 43:57Speaker 1: what you do and what you're what you're able to
- 43:59Speaker 1: do anice as you make. I think you're an excellent,
- 44:02Speaker 1: excellent father, and I just want to give you that
- 44:04Speaker 1: compliment because you know, fathers are so important to that
- 44:07Speaker 1: family unit, that family structure, and you're there and you're
- 44:11Speaker 1: doing it, and you've raised some excellent children. Just let
- 44:14Speaker 1: me say this, Thank you so much, Shirley. But I
- 44:16Speaker 1: will say this, my wife is times fifty of that
- 44:22Speaker 1: is incredible mother. Oh my god, she's an incredible I
- 44:26Speaker 1: can't do what she do. All right, Coming up next,
- 44:30Speaker 1: it is the nephew and he'll do a prank phone
- 44:33Speaker 1: call for us right after this you're listening to show
- 44:39Speaker 1: coming up at four minutes after the hour, today's Strawberry letter,
- 44:43Speaker 1: And this one's a good one. He The subject is
- 44:47Speaker 1: he asked his ex wife to talk to me? All right,
- 44:56Speaker 1: he asked his ex wife to talk to me. No, No,
- 45:00Speaker 1: it's not what we do anyway. We'll get into that
- 45:04Speaker 1: in just a bit. My Strawberry letter for it today,
- 45:07Speaker 1: but right now it is the nephew. Um up with
- 45:10Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us today? Now,
- 45:13Speaker 1: well before we do that, before we get to the
- 45:15Speaker 1: prank call it, what was your call you got a
- 45:16Speaker 1: question room. The last break, you didn't get to ask
- 45:17Speaker 1: me what do you have? Oh so the last break
- 45:20Speaker 1: you talked about your resolutions and you wanted to spend
- 45:23Speaker 1: more time with your family and all right, and we
- 45:26Speaker 1: talked about it's such a great dad. But my question
- 45:29Speaker 1: is do they want to spend more time with you?
- 45:35Speaker 1: But you're gonna do it though, You're gonna put me
- 45:37Speaker 1: and you're gonna do it. I think very curious here,
- 45:42Speaker 1: and let me tell you, I'm turning into an old man.
- 45:44Speaker 1: They come into the back room because I'm always hanging
- 45:46Speaker 1: out in the bedroom. They come back, they're like, why
- 45:48Speaker 1: just so hot? Head? So hot? Because your mom will
- 45:54Speaker 1: be freezing me out. So when she leave, like, I'm
- 45:56Speaker 1: make it hot. But here's ain't for the day. This
- 46:00Speaker 1: is UH first of all happy Founders day to the sigments.
- 46:04Speaker 1: It is their founders day to day. So big ups
- 46:06Speaker 1: to UH our boy Jeddy Brown. He's he's a number
- 46:10Speaker 1: five Beta Sigma h Emmi Smith. The list goes on
- 46:14Speaker 1: this right is this right? Here? Is you ain't no Sigma.
- 46:18Speaker 1: You ain't And I mean it just like that, You
- 46:21Speaker 1: ain't no Sigma cat dog if you would hello, oh
- 46:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a greg please, yeah, this is he?
- 46:29Speaker 1: How you doing? My name is Bernard, five Beta Sigma.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I'm over pledged relationships? Uh huh uh giving you a
- 46:36Speaker 1: call to day man. You attended priv you a m university?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Am I correct? Yeah? You am? I right? You attended right? Okay,
- 46:46Speaker 1: and from my understanding, you pledge five Beta Sigma and
- 46:50Speaker 1: fall of ninety one. That's correct, all right, that's the
- 46:53Speaker 1: the beta chapter. Correct, Yes, all right. Here's where we're
- 46:57Speaker 1: having some problems here, going through the records, doing records,
- 47:00Speaker 1: actually looking at the records that we have here at headquarters,
- 47:03Speaker 1: you're not actually an official member of five Beta Sigma.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I don't know what has taken place. But wait a minute,
- 47:11Speaker 1: what what you mean not a member? Looking at our
- 47:13Speaker 1: records here at national headquarters, it's indicating that you're not
- 47:17Speaker 1: an official member of five Beta Sigma. I don't know
- 47:20Speaker 1: what could have gone wrong with this? Now, Now that
- 47:23Speaker 1: ain't right, man, That ain't right, because see depth of
- 47:26Speaker 1: data is recognized nationally, So why wouldn't I be nationally recognized?
- 47:30Speaker 1: I'm not certain, sir. Maybe it's something that took place
- 47:32Speaker 1: on that that actual line of Fall ninety one. We're
- 47:36Speaker 1: actually going to have to do some research on everything
- 47:38Speaker 1: that's going on with your line as well as the chapter.
- 47:41Speaker 1: But how is that possible if they gave if they
- 47:43Speaker 1: gave me a certificate in the in the plaque and
- 47:45Speaker 1: I got my pen and I mean I'm a sigma.
- 47:48Speaker 1: What you mean? Okay, sir, I don't know what I'm
- 47:51Speaker 1: looking at here, And and please understand, I want to
- 47:54Speaker 1: try to clear this matter up. Yeah, yeah, we need
- 47:56Speaker 1: to do this matter. Who else is it somebody there
- 47:59Speaker 1: like a oversee uh maybe the head president or your
- 48:04Speaker 1: branch or something that I can talk to or something. Well,
- 48:05Speaker 1: I'm actually I am actually over pledged relations and I
- 48:09Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call personally so we can
- 48:11Speaker 1: try to rectify the matter. And it's gonna take us
- 48:14Speaker 1: some time to hiring this thing out. But what I
- 48:16Speaker 1: need you to do as at this point. Yeah, and
- 48:19Speaker 1: you know what the problem is that I'm noticing is
- 48:21Speaker 1: that all of the people that were on your line
- 48:23Speaker 1: they are official for some reason, mister Greg is an official,
- 48:28Speaker 1: so I want to I don't understand that because I
- 48:30Speaker 1: was the line president, So how how is everybody else
- 48:35Speaker 1: able to be a signa and not meet when I
- 48:37Speaker 1: did all the paperwork that it takes to for the
- 48:41Speaker 1: process to be right, I don't understand it. So you
- 48:43Speaker 1: know what, Brother, I can't call you brother for the
- 48:46Speaker 1: fact that you're right now brother, because I'm a signa.
- 48:49Speaker 1: So here's what we're gonna have to do. Greg, We're
- 48:51Speaker 1: gonna have to get you to First of all, if
- 48:54Speaker 1: you're dealing with anybody alumni wise, we're asking that you
- 48:57Speaker 1: don't go to any meetings right now. We're also asking
- 49:00Speaker 1: that you don't wear any five beta Sigma pal for
- 49:03Speaker 1: NOLL you at this point, we want to make sure
- 49:06Speaker 1: and get clarity that you are definitely a brother. May man, Man,
- 49:10Speaker 1: I am definitely a brother. Do you know what I
- 49:12Speaker 1: had to go through to get where I am today?
- 49:15Speaker 1: To be a signal? All the do y'all, y'all took
- 49:17Speaker 1: y'all dudes whatever to that. If you're taking my dudes,
- 49:20Speaker 1: you should be able to tell me, yo, man um,
- 49:23Speaker 1: we got this going on. Certain things are going on
- 49:25Speaker 1: with your line. We need to We need to check you.
- 49:27Speaker 1: You took our money. That's the thing. I'm seeing checks
- 49:30Speaker 1: that have gone through for other people that are on
- 49:32Speaker 1: that line. I don't see, man, and to this day,
- 49:35Speaker 1: I'm like a lifetime member. So what the hell are
- 49:37Speaker 1: you talking about. I have no records indicating that you're
- 49:39Speaker 1: a lifetime Remember, that's what I'm saying, sir. We gotta
- 49:42Speaker 1: kissing bad dog. Somebody need to tell me something today.
- 49:45Speaker 1: We're gonna try to get to the end of this
- 49:47Speaker 1: by the end of the week. It's gonna take no.
- 49:48Speaker 1: No, no no, but no, but no, you're not understanding what
- 49:51Speaker 1: I'm saying, man, because I'm a Sigma to the heart. Dude.
- 49:53Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about. Y'all playing with my
- 49:55Speaker 1: heart right now. Man, Ain't nobody gonna do that and
- 49:58Speaker 1: get away with I don't know what's going on. Here's
- 50:00Speaker 1: what we can do. We can bring you back in
- 50:02Speaker 1: and do another pledging process. Pledge. Did you understand what
- 50:06Speaker 1: you just said to me? No? Man, that ain't happen. Dog,
- 50:09Speaker 1: I've been through this already. Man, I'm not pledging. I'm
- 50:12Speaker 1: not signing my name on nothing else because I have pledged.
- 50:16Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I need to get somebody on
- 50:18Speaker 1: the phone that can answer my question. I want to
- 50:20Speaker 1: know what's going on, okay right now? And I understand
- 50:23Speaker 1: you know, the disbelief of what's going on? I really
- 50:25Speaker 1: do you? Obviously don't you a brother? Brother? We're gonna
- 50:29Speaker 1: try to what year did you go across? Did you
- 50:32Speaker 1: walk the fan? I mean, tell me what's going on? Brother?
- 50:35Speaker 1: I'm fall eighty nine, brother. And now what we're gonna
- 50:37Speaker 1: have to do right now is, first of all, no paraphernalia,
- 50:41Speaker 1: no perna you're trying to see. I mean that I
- 50:44Speaker 1: can't well, what's nearest and dearest to my heart, next
- 50:47Speaker 1: to my wife and my child. You're telling me that
- 50:49Speaker 1: I can't go around and proclaim what I am. That's
- 50:52Speaker 1: like telling me I can't be black? What the hell
- 50:54Speaker 1: that you're saying? And another thing we're going to get
- 50:56Speaker 1: you to do. Understand, you have a brand, a Sigma
- 50:58Speaker 1: brand that's to come off until we until we get
- 51:02Speaker 1: this second care of what and then you talk about
- 51:05Speaker 1: them medical procedures. What are you saying, sir? We cannot
- 51:09Speaker 1: allow you to wear a brand representing five beta sigment
- 51:12Speaker 1: when right now you are not only you can't five
- 51:14Speaker 1: a lot that that brand to me was allowed to
- 51:17Speaker 1: put the brand on me. Now I can't be allowed
- 51:20Speaker 1: to wear something I've been wearing for almost fifteen years.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Are you crazy. Come on, man, this is crazy. So
- 51:26Speaker 1: we gotta get you to take your brand me until
- 51:28Speaker 1: all of the brand? What the hell a out? Man?
- 51:32Speaker 1: This is some Look here, brother, what Bernard? Is that?
- 51:35Speaker 1: What your name is? You need to get somebody on
- 51:38Speaker 1: this a minute. That's all right, I know the president bill.
- 51:42Speaker 1: How about that? I would just call in and I'll
- 51:45Speaker 1: figured out my bill. Right now, we need you to
- 51:49Speaker 1: take the brand off off you. Come take the brand
- 51:53Speaker 1: off of me. And you wanted that bad, come get it.
- 51:56Speaker 1: That's what you do. You are not a member A
- 51:58Speaker 1: five beta six done give you talking about dog? I
- 52:02Speaker 1: am a member. You do want something over here? I
- 52:05Speaker 1: land your boy. That's what you do. You're bad, Come
- 52:07Speaker 1: do it. So I'm telling you for the final time,
- 52:10Speaker 1: do not wear any parapher. Now you keep don't want
- 52:13Speaker 1: to hear that talking about no final. Let me tell
- 52:16Speaker 1: you what final. I am a five batter sigma to
- 52:19Speaker 1: the hard bodoom. Sir. All I'm telling you is no
- 52:24Speaker 1: more schurch and cover that brand up until we're here. Man,
- 52:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna wear everything. I got a hat, I'm ahead
- 52:30Speaker 1: of a matter of fact, I'm gonna reading by just
- 52:33Speaker 1: to get on young lers. You're gonna help brand cover
- 52:36Speaker 1: it up until we figuring out if you are no
- 52:39Speaker 1: hand covering up, you come get it and till then
- 52:41Speaker 1: you better get away from me. Well I'm talking about
- 52:44Speaker 1: don't pull that brand up and don't you wear no
- 52:47Speaker 1: church no more. Me tell you something I ain't covering
- 52:50Speaker 1: Come get it if you want it. I got one
- 52:52Speaker 1: my hed hard manby This is brue fire. You don't
- 52:55Speaker 1: want none. You don't want none, y'alls. This is the man.

- 54:30Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter back, Baby, You're back, You are back. Subject
- 54:37Speaker 1: he asked his ex wife to talk to me. All right,
- 54:42Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been dating a man for almost
- 54:45Speaker 1: two years and we had our first major argument. I
- 54:49Speaker 1: cannot seem to get along with his overbearing mother. And
- 54:52Speaker 1: no matter how nice I am, to her, she's always
- 54:55Speaker 1: gritting her teeth and side eyeing me. I sat down
- 54:58Speaker 1: with my boyfriend before Thanksgiving and asked if he'd help
- 55:01Speaker 1: me get along with his mother. He told me to
- 55:04Speaker 1: take her to lunch and talk to her about things
- 55:06Speaker 1: that interest her. I took her to a buffet and
- 55:10Speaker 1: she loved it. Took her to a buffet that she
- 55:12Speaker 1: loved and I hate. I only ate a vegetable plate
- 55:16Speaker 1: and she took issue with that. Since it was just
- 55:20Speaker 1: the two of us, it was awkward, so I did
- 55:22Speaker 1: not force conversation with her. She told my boyfriend that
- 55:25Speaker 1: it went great, but she still doesn't see him having
- 55:28Speaker 1: a future with me. I was devastated and considered breaking
- 55:32Speaker 1: up with him. Then he said he had a solution
- 55:35Speaker 1: to the problem. He said he had someone that really
- 55:38Speaker 1: knew his mom and could get her to act right.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I thought he was talking about his aunt Fee when
- 55:44Speaker 1: he told me Fee could fix things, but it was
- 55:47Speaker 1: his ex wife, Felicia. I didn't know. I didn't know
- 55:51Speaker 1: he referred to her as Fee. He had the nerve
- 55:54Speaker 1: to invite her over and had me help him cook
- 55:57Speaker 1: dinner for her. Since I thought it was coming over,
- 56:01Speaker 1: I knew Felicia from school and they were married for
- 56:04Speaker 1: only nine months and he hadn't mentioned her in years.
- 56:07Speaker 1: She walked in and I thought it was a prank.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I thought it was a frank. Needless to say, it
- 56:14Speaker 1: didn't go well and we broke up before Christmas. Bee
- 56:17Speaker 1: has a protective order against me and she had to
- 56:20Speaker 1: get three or four stitches. Listen very carefully, people, she
- 56:24Speaker 1: had to get three to four stitches in her forehead.
- 56:28Speaker 1: My boyfriend is begging to come back into my life,
- 56:31Speaker 1: but he doesn't see how calling his ex wife to
- 56:33Speaker 1: come talk to me was a huge problem. I could
- 56:36Speaker 1: deal with his mom, but not Felicia. Should I walk
- 56:38Speaker 1: away for good? Yes? You should. Yes, this is over.
- 56:42Speaker 1: There's no future in this. There is no future in
- 56:44Speaker 1: this because your boyfriend. It's crazy, all right. This whole
- 56:48Speaker 1: family is crazy. This letter is crazy. Like I said,
- 56:52Speaker 1: your man is crazy. His mom is crazy. Who is she?
- 56:56Speaker 1: Come on, this is a mama's boy. You're dealing with?
- 56:58Speaker 1: What man his ex into the mix to talk to
- 57:02Speaker 1: his mom about mistreating his girl. This makes no sense.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I've never heard of this before. And miss Auntie fee
- 57:10Speaker 1: fee Felicia Felicia is a real crazy one. For coming
- 57:13Speaker 1: over there in the first place. What woman, especially the
- 57:16Speaker 1: ex goes to the house of the X. I just
- 57:19Speaker 1: think your man is clueless and crazy. This relationship is
- 57:22Speaker 1: never gonna work because his mom doesn't like you, and
- 57:26Speaker 1: he keeps she keeps saying negative things about you, and
- 57:29Speaker 1: he's listening to her. He's not trying to help you
- 57:32Speaker 1: get along with his mom. He gave you some crazy advice.
- 57:35Speaker 1: This is not gonna work. You guys are broken up.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Move on, nephew. Okay, you went to dinner with mama
- 57:43Speaker 1: to try to make things better, and you took her
- 57:47Speaker 1: to a buffet that you don't like. And I know
- 57:51Speaker 1: where y'all went. Where y'all went, because I used to
- 57:53Speaker 1: go there with my daddy and I actually love it.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I don't know why you ain't like y'all went to
- 57:57Speaker 1: gold In Correl. I know where y'all win. That's where
- 57:59Speaker 1: y'a y'all went to the Golden Corral, And I don't
- 58:03Speaker 1: know why you don't like it. You could have sat
- 58:05Speaker 1: down and got you something the rolls and you could
- 58:08Speaker 1: have sat there and had a great conversation with them,
- 58:10Speaker 1: because I'm the best Roles in the world. You could
- 58:12Speaker 1: have went to the gold Of Corral and sat there
- 58:13Speaker 1: and I don't know why you're sitting there eating some vegetables.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Then that's why she grinding her teeth at you, because
- 58:18Speaker 1: she don't like how you get down now, and she
- 58:20Speaker 1: grinding her teeth because she old people grounded teeth and
- 58:22Speaker 1: they maint her teeth anyway. So don't worry about that.
- 58:24Speaker 1: But I'm trying to take that's not that woman. That's
- 58:27Speaker 1: not that's not that woman too. But I probably she
- 58:30Speaker 1: can grind them and go get some modem dot. She's
- 58:32Speaker 1: been through with her teeth. Her teeth been gone, But
- 58:34Speaker 1: don't worry about that. What I'm trying to get you
- 58:37Speaker 1: to understand is when you sit with old people at
- 58:39Speaker 1: their favorite restaurant, you got to show some respect, get
- 58:42Speaker 1: something to eat, show them that you care. Then y'all
- 58:45Speaker 1: can have a decent conversation. If you're an older person
- 58:47Speaker 1: and you sit down and a young person's sound in
- 58:49Speaker 1: front of you with just some vegetable at the Golden Corral,
- 58:51Speaker 1: then that's that's just blatant disrespect. You understand that. You
- 58:54Speaker 1: need to know that. Then that's why people looking at
- 58:56Speaker 1: you sideway because you ain't real get you some rolls,
- 59:00Speaker 1: go over and get you something that ice cream about
- 59:01Speaker 1: that machine, put them sprinkles on them. That's when you're
- 59:04Speaker 1: having a good time, and she's gonna be like, you
- 59:05Speaker 1: know what, I kind of like her. If you'd have
- 59:07Speaker 1: done that, Mama would have changed a little bit about you.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You know, she got the ice cream with the sprinkle
- 59:12Speaker 1: She has some rolls. We got down. She spread butter
- 59:14Speaker 1: all over. Now you sat there and ate some damn
- 59:16Speaker 1: broccoli and nothing that looks stupid, and you ain't talking
- 59:20Speaker 1: about much because you ain't eating much. You gotta have
- 59:23Speaker 1: conversation for mama. Mama is real that this is this
- 59:29Speaker 1: is the this is the first part of the letter.
- 59:31Speaker 1: That's the problem that bothers me. Okay, now let's get
- 59:34Speaker 1: on to the Let's get on to the second part.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Let's get on to the second part. The second part
- 59:37Speaker 1: that is devastating. That's devastating to me is now you've
- 59:41Speaker 1: been invited, y'all. Don't cooked then them, right, y'all, and
- 59:44Speaker 1: cooked then them because you think ain't fee coming over
- 59:47Speaker 1: all right, But it's really Felice Shock, who used to
- 59:50Speaker 1: be married to for nine months. I don't know why
- 59:52Speaker 1: that didn't work out, probably because his ANSWER's crazy. But
- 59:55Speaker 1: but here's what I want to say. Felicia, all she
- 59:58Speaker 1: knows is she coming to den Felicia didn't know she
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: was coming to dinner. What I asked up and attached
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: to it. She had had no earthly idea. You've been
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: to beat the hell out of her. Who'll go to
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: dinner and walk away with four stitches that don't make
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: no damn sense. Felicia did nothing in her foe head.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: That means you lost your damn man, and you went
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: completely crazy in that house. That's what you did. You
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: lost it because you thought ain't fie was been to
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: come through the door, and it's Felicia from the high
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: school and you remember her, and you didn't like Felicia
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: back then, No damn way, So you didn't took all
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: your frustation. I know that. Okay, hold on, nephew, hold
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: on here. I know you're on the right. Felicia, if
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: you're listening, I understand you. Okay. Well, at first two
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: of our response to the Strawberry letter today, the twenty
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: three minutes after be our subject is he asked his
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: ex wife to talk to me. We'll get back into
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening show, all right, nephew,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. H subjects he
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: asked his ex wife to talk to me, all right.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: So this woman wrote in she's been dating a man
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: for almost two years. They had their first major argument,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and because she can't seem to bond with his mother,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: she calls his mother overbearing. And she says, no matter
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: how nice she is to the mother, the mother's always
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: gritting her teeth and side eyeing her. So she sat
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: down with her boyfriend right before Thanksgiving to try to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: figure out some kind of way to deal with the mother,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: just to deal with her. She's tired of her, you know,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: them not getting along and everything. So the boyfriend suggested
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: that she take his mom to dinner, to lunch, maybe
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: take her out to lunch or something. So she took
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the mom out to her favorite restaurant. She didn't like
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the restaurant, but the Corral. It's where they wish. Yeah,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and she ate. She didn't say that in the letter,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: but she ate a plate of vegetables and the mom
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: did her thing so that she you know, she said,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: it was a little awkward having conversation with her and
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: every saying, but she didn't force anything. She told the
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: mom went back, told her boyfriend it was great, but
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: she still didn't see him having a future with this girl.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: He just cheap. Mom just can't see it. So boyfriend said, Okay,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I have someone who really knows my mom. Will invite
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: her to dinner. So they cook dinner. The girlfriend is
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: thinking it's for his auntie, fee turns out it's for
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: his ex wife, Felicia. Felicia came over, a big fight erupted.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Felicia ended up with three or four stitches in her forehead.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Oh this girl was mad, wasn't she. Don't you ever? Anyway,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: it turned into a huge problem. They broke up. Boyfriend
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: is begging her now to come back. She's mad because
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: he called his ex wife and he doesn't see how
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: that was a problem. So she's asking should she walk
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: away for good? That is, I'm still concerned about Felicia,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: who didn't know none about this. Felicia ain't asked for
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: none of this, Felicia. And then when Felicia there, I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: don't know, but that's okay. But Felicia walks in and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you think it's you think it's a prank. I am
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the King of prank. This ain't no damn prank. This
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: is really happening right here. Okay, this is the real deal, baby,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: This ain't no joke at all. And you guys been
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you were married, they were married for nine months. Something
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: happened that didn't go right. Okay, So now now what
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: could happen at dinner? The young she walk in. You
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: get upset because you think it's ain't feeing. It's really
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Felicia from the high school. But what did Felicia do
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: to deserve the ass whipping? What? You ain't know? What?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: This would have This would have read a whole lot
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: different if it said he got three of fose stitches.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Now I understand. I understand because he didn't set this up.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: If he got three of fose stitches, I get it.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: What did Felicia do to get the stitches? And did
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: y'all eat dinner or not? Did we ever eat the dinner?
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: We have sat there and prepared this big ass? Then
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: let me and let me tell you something. You know
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: who over there shaking their head and grinding their teeth,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: his mom, the mama would looking like I told you
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: her answers crazy. I told you. You didn't need to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: be doing nothing with her mama stead of grinding her
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: teeth and on her way back to the Golden Corral.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Now your question is your question? Should I should I
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: go ahead? Sir? I'm sorry, no, I'm saying now, Felicia,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: it's gonna have to wear bangs for the rest of
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: her life. You forgot to say that because you didn't
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: cut her foehead. She gonna have stitches. Now, we gotta
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: find a man that like stitches on a woman. You
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: see what I'm saying. Now, she messed up. She shouldn't
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: gone over the woman's house, period, right, Felicia. So the violence, now,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I don't condone that. I don't condone the violence. I understood.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I would have understood if you'd jumped on him. I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: would have understood that. Felicia wasn't invited over, She wasn't
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: caught up in a situation. Now why she went out?
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Don't know what? What did Felicia thinks she was on
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: her way too. I do not know. Because just like
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: we didn't know nothing on this side, Felicia might not
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: have known nothing on that side. We don't know. He's
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: he's the most ignor at one of all in the stories,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: and then you got the nerring. Should I walk away
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: for good? That's your question? Should I walk away from me?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I think you need to go get some counseling because
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you just keep jumping on people. You just you're just whooping.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: You're whooping people ass. You can't sit out of here,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: donner with nobody. You can't do nothing. You gotta issue.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: We got to fix your problem. You don't want to
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: eat with nobody, mama and have a good time. You
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: don't want to have when you when you cook dinner,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: if it ain't the person coming to dinner, you're gonna
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: whop they are? You got issue issue? Go eat? Put
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: yourself in the girlfriend's place. Okay, put yourself in the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: girlfriend's place, all right? You and and this and a
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: woman are dating. The mom does not like you. So
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: what your girlfriend does is invite her ex over to
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: your house. You all cook dinner. You don't know it's
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: her ex though, her X comes to your house. Yeah,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: what happens at your house? Well, see, I'm a different person,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: sum I'm ana whop everybody as I'm a different bread.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I know I know who I am, Okay, but I
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: know I've embraced me. I know me, I know my shortcoming.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I know my shortcoming. I know that dude. Another coming
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: that house again. I'm gonna whoop his ass. I am
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: dragging out the front though, drag and feed him as
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I'm whopping his mand. You don't eat this denner. We prepared.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You're gonna eat this dinner, but you're gonna get your
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: butt whoop at the same time. I got it, I
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: got it. I'm a different kind of guy, but this
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: young lady is not lady like to act like this.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: You can be a little bit mold stand have a
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: little class about yourself. You gotta handle yourself different. You
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: gotta handle you gotta handle situate. I'm sorry, Shirley, that
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: is what I expect, pot a lady. I don't want
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: to see this. Yeah, why would she go over to
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: her ex's house? Why and he's with someone else? It
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: just makes no sense. You know him and Felicia been
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: doing it. What is you talking about? You know damn well,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: him and Felicia been doing it. That's like she's felt

- 1:09:53Speaker 1: ball in the jersey? Is how you gonna lead the jersey? Yeah?

- 1:10:49Speaker 1: status update on a relationship that's been the topic of
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: speculation for over seven years. Well on New Year's Eve,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Angela announced that she is dating rapper Yo Gotti and
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: that she's happier than she's ever been. Romance rumors started
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: back in twenty fifteen, when Yo Gotti released his rap
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: song Down in the d MS and he rapped about
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: having a crush on Angela. He said, boy, I got
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: a crush on Angela Simmons. Then he followed it with effort,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna let the world know. Well, we now know
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: for sure that they're dating, after we saw their beautiful

- 1:11:28Speaker 1: so so so so if I do a song and
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: talk about who I got a crush on, they just
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: show up like that. How how they work out? Well?
