- 1:43Speaker 1: love me, got to turn out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your face at h
- 2:01Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I got a radio show, just trying to
- 2:13Speaker 1: give God some back, just some back of what even
- 2:18Speaker 1: gave me, just a portion, you know. Just I'm just trying,
- 2:23Speaker 1: man to to to show some type of gratitude for
- 2:28Speaker 1: all his blessings. I'm just trying to man, just just
- 2:34Speaker 1: get it right sometimes, you know what I mean. I mean, man,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you just can't do what you wanna do and just
- 2:39Speaker 1: live wrong all the time. Man, you got it at
- 2:41Speaker 1: one point in time, Steve, come home. Man, come on, man,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you could do better. I know you can, you know,
- 2:48Speaker 1: saying and and you know what I had to do.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I had to stop saying I'm gonna try to do better,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going
- 2:55Speaker 1: to do better. You know, trying it's just to put
- 2:59Speaker 1: forth and that and then if it don't work, well, okay.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But if you make up in your mind and I'm
- 3:03Speaker 1: going to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting
- 3:07Speaker 1: it done is the only thing that matters. It's the
- 3:10Speaker 1: difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to win
- 3:13Speaker 1: the game or we're gonna go out here to win
- 3:15Speaker 1: the game. Now, trying to win the game means that
- 3:18Speaker 1: you could lose. But when you got in your mind
- 3:21Speaker 1: made up, most athletes will tell you that they go
- 3:24Speaker 1: out there with the full intent and purpose of winning
- 3:27Speaker 1: and winning. Only see they don't put the second place
- 3:31Speaker 1: finish on the cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't get
- 3:34Speaker 1: you there. You got to win. And now take it
- 3:38Speaker 1: out of the scope of athletics, but keep it in
- 3:40Speaker 1: that type of type of analogy in life. Man, you
- 3:43Speaker 1: just wanta you want to win in life, don't you?
- 3:46Speaker 1: I mean, at the end of the day, don't you
- 3:47Speaker 1: want to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated the Life.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Don't you want to be recognized for your hard work?
- 3:53Speaker 1: Don't you want, you know, to be recognized within the
- 3:57Speaker 1: bonus structure down at your job. Don't you want to
- 4:00Speaker 1: have your plaque up on the wall down at your job.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean most people do. Some people could care less.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Some people don't care about looking good or being their best.
- 4:07Speaker 1: And that's cool. But I ain't talking to them though.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. I'm talking to those of you
- 4:12Speaker 1: who who who want to be the best you can be.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You know, people people kill me when they're getting mad
- 4:17Speaker 1: at at people there and he Brown knows and he
- 4:20Speaker 1: all up on the employee of the month man, the
- 4:22Speaker 1: dude doing his job to the best of his ability,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and he getting recognized for it? What they got to
- 4:27Speaker 1: do with all that you're talking about because you ain't
- 4:28Speaker 1: up there. It's amazing, man, how people describe other people's success.
- 4:33Speaker 1: He's so lucky, lucky, Hey man, don't they kind of
- 4:36Speaker 1: get you a little bit when people call you lucky
- 4:39Speaker 1: When let me tell you what luck really is, y'all.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Luck is when hard work bumps up into opportunity, when
- 4:46Speaker 1: hard work run smack dab up in the opportunity. Some
- 4:50Speaker 1: people call that luck. But hold on, let's let's think
- 4:53Speaker 1: about this. If you wasn't working hard, an opportunity presented itself,
- 4:58Speaker 1: what would you call that? Or you call that a
- 5:00Speaker 1: missed opportunity? What you call that wrong place at the
- 5:03Speaker 1: wrong time, or you missed out on that? But see
- 5:06Speaker 1: when you've been working hard and the opportunity presents itself
- 5:09Speaker 1: and it bumps up into each other. Now people want
- 5:11Speaker 1: to call that luck. But hold up, here go a
- 5:13Speaker 1: part though today, ain't paying no attention to Yeah, that
- 5:15Speaker 1: opportunity came by, But if you had not been working
- 5:18Speaker 1: hard and the hard work had not ran up in
- 5:20Speaker 1: the opportunity, what would you have. No, sir, it's not luck,
- 5:24Speaker 1: it's work. It is work, because as a scripture that says,
- 5:27Speaker 1: faith without works is dead. Look, I know I use
- 5:31Speaker 1: the same ones all all the time, but them the
- 5:33Speaker 1: ones I know. I mean what you want me to?
- 5:36Speaker 1: You want me lie to, you want me to come
- 5:37Speaker 1: on here and tell you man, I've been studying the Bible.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I haven't. I haven't. I haven't, I haven't. But my
- 5:42Speaker 1: mom was a Sunday school teacher. She taught me enough.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Though now I know different between right and wrong, just
- 5:47Speaker 1: like you do. You ain't gotta you know, accused me
- 5:51Speaker 1: when people write a strawberry letter? Am I wrong for this?
- 5:54Speaker 1: You know? Good? Well, look at let's read your letter?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Are you wrong for this? You know you're wrong? What
- 5:58Speaker 1: you don't need that's to be telling you know. But
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this anyway. We'll see. Go ahead, though,
- 6:03Speaker 1: do what you wanna do. But you know what, y'all,
- 6:06Speaker 1: here's the best advice I can give you. This is
- 6:08Speaker 1: what I really came to talk about this morning, but
- 6:11Speaker 1: I got sidetrack because I listened. You know what, get
- 6:16Speaker 1: get out of your own way. So many of us
- 6:20Speaker 1: are blocking our own blessings. We're just in our own way.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We are in our own way. And one of the
- 6:28Speaker 1: most dangerous ways you can get in your way is
- 6:31Speaker 1: to do it your way, to get it figured your way,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and to lock in on your way. And this the
- 6:38Speaker 1: way it's got to go. Do you know how many
- 6:40Speaker 1: people are blocking their blessing? Do you know how long
- 6:43Speaker 1: I blocked mine? With that mindset right there? This is
- 6:48Speaker 1: how I wanted to happen, This is how I wanted
- 6:50Speaker 1: to go down. This is the way I'm gonna go
- 6:52Speaker 1: about it and this, this is what's gonna happen, lock
- 6:56Speaker 1: loaded fire. So I was dead set on doing it
- 7:00Speaker 1: my way. Have you ever talked to people man, Well,
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's just the way I do it. Look cause it's
- 7:06Speaker 1: the way you do it. You think that makes it
- 7:07Speaker 1: the right way? You think jazz, because you'd have thought
- 7:10Speaker 1: on it long and hard, and that's what you really want.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Do you really think that your way is the right
- 7:15Speaker 1: way or could there be a better way? See? Until
- 7:18Speaker 1: I started listening to God and started paying attention to
- 7:21Speaker 1: his way, man, I was spending my wheels. Man, I
- 7:25Speaker 1: was out here so determined this how I was gonna
- 7:27Speaker 1: do it. But you know, I had to learn how
- 7:29Speaker 1: to get out of my own way because just because
- 7:32Speaker 1: I could do it my way didn't mean it was
- 7:35Speaker 1: the right way. I had to get out of my
- 7:38Speaker 1: own way. Just get out your way? Man, Now, what
- 7:43Speaker 1: what what does that mean? That means, see, set your goals,
- 7:50Speaker 1: That means have your dreams. That's I'm I'm saying, set
- 7:55Speaker 1: your goals. Man, I ain't saying don't say goals. Listen
- 7:57Speaker 1: to me. Set your goals. What is it you want
- 7:59Speaker 1: to happen? What is it you like to have. What
- 8:02Speaker 1: is it you like to be? What do you aspire to?
- 8:05Speaker 1: Set your goals and set your dreams. Now, take your
- 8:10Speaker 1: goals and your dreams to God and ask God to
- 8:15Speaker 1: show you how. Man, you can save yourself a lot
- 8:18Speaker 1: of pain. Listen to somebody who did it his way
- 8:23Speaker 1: for so long. And when I finally got out of
- 8:25Speaker 1: my way, out of my own way. When you've heard
- 8:29Speaker 1: old people say, let go and let God. You heard
- 8:32Speaker 1: him say that I didn't. I didn't get it, but
- 8:35Speaker 1: I got it. Now let go and let God. And
- 8:39Speaker 1: it's amazing little saying. Though now you know you may
- 8:41Speaker 1: not get it now it It took me a bunch
- 8:43Speaker 1: of years to get it too. But when I took
- 8:45Speaker 1: my goals and my dreams and my vision to God
- 8:49Speaker 1: and I said, God, this is what I hope for,
- 8:51Speaker 1: this is what I aspired to, This is what I
- 8:53Speaker 1: want to be, This is why I would love to
- 8:55Speaker 1: get to. Then I said, help me show me how.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Point me in the right direction, let me follow your footsteps,
- 9:04Speaker 1: guide me and give me a spirit of discernment. Show
- 9:08Speaker 1: me who wrong? Because I meet people every day. Ain't
- 9:10Speaker 1: up to no good with me? Every single day? Oh man, man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: I can't believe I run up in to you. Man,
- 9:17Speaker 1: the Lord told me something's gonna happen to me today. Well, see,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I talked to him every day. He did not mention
- 9:23Speaker 1: you to me. He ain't said nothing to me. He
- 9:26Speaker 1: didn't tell me what was gonna happen. Mind. Now, I
- 9:28Speaker 1: don't mean it can't happen because I'm open to it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But it amazes me when people come up to me. Man,
- 9:33Speaker 1: the Lord wanted me to tell you this. Hold on, Man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I talked to him every day, every day, some days
- 9:42Speaker 1: more than others. I ain't perfect, I missed sometimes, but
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'm on a daily basis talking to him. So really, man,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I'm I'm and I and and and please no, I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: listening as well as I've ever listened before. But but
- 9:56Speaker 1: get yourself together, though, see no, your goals and your dreams,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and then let God show you how to do it.
- 10:01Speaker 1: He'll do it. You know. It's so important everybody, that
- 10:05Speaker 1: you get focused, that you aim for something, that you
- 10:09Speaker 1: dream of something, that you aspire to something. But it's
- 10:12Speaker 1: the most the best thing you can do. After you
- 10:14Speaker 1: do all that, Man, get God involved in it. Man,
- 10:18Speaker 1: talk to him. I mean, why would you not what
- 10:20Speaker 1: you got to lose. You ain't gotta go down there
- 10:22Speaker 1: and make no big scene and and run laps around
- 10:25Speaker 1: the church and run up there and throw yourself on
- 10:27Speaker 1: the altar and scream and flip over and throw money
- 10:30Speaker 1: in there. You ain't got to do that. This you
- 10:32Speaker 1: and God, man, This you and God. You know you
- 10:35Speaker 1: got to serve and praise him. The way you do it.
- 10:37Speaker 1: You gotta let everybody else tell you how is done.
- 10:39Speaker 1: It's a personal relationship. People kill me if you don't
- 10:42Speaker 1: do it this way. If you don't come here to
- 10:44Speaker 1: this church and you don't run around in this circle,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and you don't get flipped in and you don't hey man,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you better go have a relationship with God. See what
- 10:50Speaker 1: that's about. You understand? Nobody throw you off with all that?
- 10:53Speaker 1: All right, All right, y'all talk to him. He loves
- 10:55Speaker 1: to hear from you. Today show and everybody you are listening,
- 11:04Speaker 1: you're getting ready to listen to the baddest radio show
- 11:08Speaker 1: in the world. And I want to dedicate today's show,
- 11:11Speaker 1: the show right here, the show right here, come on
- 11:15Speaker 1: just from right to a special group of people who
- 11:18Speaker 1: to the people who had to do close caption for
- 11:22Speaker 1: Kanye yesterday. Okay, the impression who had to decipher all
- 11:31Speaker 1: of that and type it all up? Okay, no, no,
- 11:38Speaker 1: not easy, yeah, okay, call I gonna get mad at
- 11:43Speaker 1: But the spook that sat by the dough is that
- 11:47Speaker 1: we talk about? I said, I said, come on, we
- 11:56Speaker 1: can't say that, okay, Okay. The Negro that's that boy,
- 12:00Speaker 1: The which one y'all want me to do? Is that
- 12:02Speaker 1: known as negro? Please? Well, it is Friday. That's how
- 12:10Speaker 1: we're gonna That's how we're gonna jump it off a
- 12:12Speaker 1: big dog, big dogs out right. Yeah. Yeah, he's said
- 12:16Speaker 1: a statement along as to why he's not out and
- 12:19Speaker 1: holding it down. It's cool, it's cool. But we get
- 12:21Speaker 1: to say what we called carlor. Can I say what
- 12:23Speaker 1: I want to say? Even my own I have to
- 12:27Speaker 1: ask she over statements? Over the statement department? Can I
- 12:32Speaker 1: say the department? You can say what I want to say.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Kanye needs to come on dog over statements? Yeah ye,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but but but no, no, no, no, no, no no no,
- 12:48Speaker 1: you're not no, no no, You're not gonna put me
- 12:50Speaker 1: in that category because I don't go that far. That
- 12:55Speaker 1: was a bit much right there. When he hugged the
- 12:58Speaker 1: president with the hat on. Let's make America great again,
- 13:04Speaker 1: said Tommy. He said the hat made him feel like
- 13:07Speaker 1: Superman that's coming up in the Oval office. He said,
- 13:10Speaker 1: Superman is his favorite hero. This for his new album.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I'm thinking that that's what he wants us to think.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm waiting for Nick Cannon to come out like this,
- 13:18Speaker 1: wilding out. That's what it didn't he Yeah, man, he did. Man.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I got a clip that shows President Trump and Kanye
- 13:32Speaker 1: and they looked like do you remember the movie Life
- 13:36Speaker 1: when the guy that was the guy that was running
- 13:38Speaker 1: the prison and then the guy that was over the gunline,
- 13:40Speaker 1: the gutline, the gunline. They got both of their pictures
- 13:43Speaker 1: on you. Oh my god, you gotta see this, the
- 13:48Speaker 1: gutline about the gunline. The girl I shoot you. I
- 13:51Speaker 1: ain't nice like the boss. Oh I know, kill him?
- 14:00Speaker 1: And her mama is through with Kanye and they ain't
- 14:03Speaker 1: even black, but they threw with him until dus to
- 14:09Speaker 1: his part. They took vows Shirley, you didn't took a
- 14:12Speaker 1: bib before. But I didn't go to the White House
- 14:16Speaker 1: and hug the President. Some of the stuff he said
- 14:18Speaker 1: through through the President all yes, Well, when he went
- 14:24Speaker 1: to hug him. That's certainly threw him on custin in
- 14:26Speaker 1: the in the Oval Office was a bit much. Yeah,
- 14:30Speaker 1: all right, Well when we come back, we'll get into it.
- 14:32Speaker 1: President Trump and the Kanye historic meeting yesterday, we'll talk
- 14:37Speaker 1: about it. We'll be back at thirty two after the hour.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Kanye West and President Trump had their meeting yesterday at
- 14:50Speaker 1: the Oval Office meeting but go ahead. It was no, no,
- 14:54Speaker 1: it was two people in the same room. But it
- 14:56Speaker 1: went day meeting. But goa Kanye went on, long winded
- 14:59Speaker 1: on and erupted brand. It was a ramp. Sure, he
- 15:02Speaker 1: jumped over a lot of bs. That's what it was
- 15:04Speaker 1: for helping me out there and if you both. When
- 15:07Speaker 1: speaking to the President and answering questions from the press,
- 15:11Speaker 1: as Easy himself said, he doesn't do simple sound bites, okay,
- 15:15Speaker 1: since he has lots of notes like a fine wine,
- 15:18Speaker 1: Easy brought up some issues important to him, like prison reform.
- 15:22Speaker 1: He also appeared to advocate for the release of former
- 15:25Speaker 1: Gangster Disciples leader Larry Hoover, who he called a block
- 15:29Speaker 1: leader and a living statue. There was also some talk
- 15:33Speaker 1: about abolishing, Yeah, the thirteenth Amendment because it's an unlucky number.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Take a listen. I did say abolished with the hat on,
- 15:41Speaker 1: because why would you keep something around that's a trap door?
- 15:44Speaker 1: If you're building the floor. The Constitution is the face
- 15:47Speaker 1: of our of our industry, right of of our of
- 15:49Speaker 1: our country, of our company. Would you build a trap
- 15:52Speaker 1: door that if you mess up and you accidentally some happens,
- 15:55Speaker 1: you fall and you ended up next to the unifarmer
- 15:58Speaker 1: you end up, you gotta remove move all that trapdoor
- 16:01Speaker 1: out of the relationship. The four gentlemen that wrote the
- 16:03Speaker 1: thirtieth Amendment um and I think the way the universe works,
- 16:07Speaker 1: it's perfect. We don't have thirteen floors, do we. You know?
- 16:10Speaker 1: So the four geoman that wrote the thirteenth Amendment didn't
- 16:13Speaker 1: look like the people they were amending. Also, at that
- 16:16Speaker 1: point it was illegal for blacks to read or African
- 16:21Speaker 1: Americans to read, So that meant if you actually read
- 16:25Speaker 1: them amendment, you get locked up and turn to a
- 16:28Speaker 1: slave again. So what I think is we don't need censences,
- 16:32Speaker 1: We need partners. We need to talk to people. Wow,
- 16:36Speaker 1: you know what, this is the same thing that happens
- 16:38Speaker 1: at the house when they're out of milk. The same
- 16:42Speaker 1: what does he say, Jay, what we need to do?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Because in the fourteenth of Liment, J this juice in here.
- 16:52Speaker 1: But now I didn't know why why you got juice,
- 16:56Speaker 1: but you don't have milk, and I'm wearing the hat
- 16:59Speaker 1: looking for milk. Maybe if I took the hat off
- 17:02Speaker 1: and look for milk, milk would be sound like somebody
- 17:10Speaker 1: that decided to say something but didn't run it by nobody.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I know I'm not the only person thinking no, no, no,
- 17:16Speaker 1: absolutely not. And he said that sometimes okay. Um. Also,
- 17:21Speaker 1: Kanye embraced the president and said, I love you. Take
- 17:25Speaker 1: a listen to that. You know I love you, but
- 17:28Speaker 1: I don't want to take I don't want to put
- 17:29Speaker 1: you in that spot. How standing in that spot. I
- 17:32Speaker 1: love this guy right here. Let me get this guy.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I love this guy right here, that truly, and that's
- 17:42Speaker 1: from the heart. I didn't want to put you in
- 17:43Speaker 1: that position. That's from the heart, special guy, Junior, Junior Union.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I was watching this in the office and we said,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I know from now on, Trump has a secret. Get
- 17:57Speaker 1: this negro away from me. Signal Yeah, he gives to
- 18:01Speaker 1: scratch his eyebrows. Well, you know, I mean you said
- 18:07Speaker 1: he was not expecting him to come over there and
- 18:09Speaker 1: hunt him to come, and he was not. And then
- 18:12Speaker 1: he kind of like, you know, pushed him away a
- 18:14Speaker 1: little bit, you know, like patted him back over to
- 18:17Speaker 1: that side of the death when he was finished. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: everyone doing, Jake, can you do one time? I like
- 18:25Speaker 1: to know why there's not milk up in here and
- 18:28Speaker 1: I'm wearing the hat looking for milk and I don't
- 18:30Speaker 1: see milk, and you got juice. That's the third the ah,
- 18:42Speaker 1: I'm just you know what, I think this was the
- 18:45Speaker 1: first time that two people that know nothing actually sat
- 18:49Speaker 1: out and had a conversation together. I think two people
- 18:54Speaker 1: that don't have a clue on anything and a conversation today,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and we had to listen to it and guess what,
- 19:01Speaker 1: we don't know nothing either, because we don't know what
- 19:03Speaker 1: the hell y'all just see it. But you know what,
- 19:05Speaker 1: on a on a serasional, it's sad, it's it's there's
- 19:08Speaker 1: a sadness to it too, But you know what, that's
- 19:11Speaker 1: kind of like he needs help, and yes, yeah, but
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'll defend his right to speak his mind forever. Because
- 19:19Speaker 1: this is a free country. We do have freedom of speech.
- 19:22Speaker 1: And that's what he's doing. He's showing the fact that
- 19:24Speaker 1: he has freedom of speech. He is he's free to
- 19:26Speaker 1: wear that maga hat. He's free to say whatever he
- 19:29Speaker 1: wants to say in this country. And that's what he's doing,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and I'll defend him for that. We've free to not listen. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 1: of course, we're absolutely free to not listen. God, I
- 19:38Speaker 1: did listen. Sit down here, hey, Jay, here go Jay Career.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I am about to talk to the presidents. Come out here, Career,
- 19:49Speaker 1: do that for us, Jack, Yeah, I'm gonna go talk
- 19:52Speaker 1: to the president before I talk to come out. This
- 19:56Speaker 1: is this is your last Afeerance. So no more album
- 20:00Speaker 1: after this, no more, no more clothing line, no more easy. Well,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I don't think it's going to be accepted by black
- 20:07Speaker 1: by us, I don't. I don't think anybody would take
- 20:10Speaker 1: him serious about anything. Now, Carl, you used to you
- 20:14Speaker 1: used to actually think that this was about we're getting ready.
- 20:18Speaker 1: He was getting ready to release an album. Do you
- 20:21Speaker 1: think it's still that. I think part of it is
- 20:25Speaker 1: wanting to be relevant, and I think that his he
- 20:29Speaker 1: does support the president. That's very obvious and what you know,
- 20:33Speaker 1: having this meeting and things like that. But I'll be
- 20:36Speaker 1: honest with you, I think that and I've said this
- 20:39Speaker 1: a long time ago, and I told you guys this.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I think when Kanye lost his mother, when his mother
- 20:45Speaker 1: passed away, everything changed for him. I think everything changed
- 20:48Speaker 1: for him. And that grief, that dealing with some of
- 20:52Speaker 1: his other issues that he has mental issues, and his
- 20:57Speaker 1: heart being truly, truly broken, and that can consume you.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And I think that's a part part of what's going
- 21:04Speaker 1: on with him. I think it's also too you know,
- 21:06Speaker 1: he's married to a woman and constantly being in the spotlight.
- 21:11Speaker 1: You have to give credit to Kim. Kim has done
- 21:14Speaker 1: some good with her faith. Kim got somebody, she would
- 21:19Speaker 1: have got somebody pardon and I'm just so, I'm just curious, Carla,
- 21:27Speaker 1: by Kim getting somebody pardoned. Do you think that now
- 21:30Speaker 1: he feels he needs to step in and join that
- 21:32Speaker 1: bandwagon and feel like he's uh in that same vein
- 21:38Speaker 1: he can do exactly what she's doing. I don't get
- 21:41Speaker 1: coming up next to the nephew and run that brank back.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 21:47Speaker 1: the top of the hour and entertainment news, President Trump
- 21:51Speaker 1: is using Kanye But first the nephew is here to
- 21:54Speaker 1: run that brank back what you got, nev I got?
- 21:57Speaker 1: If he see I would say it again. F p C.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Did you hear what I see it? Yeah? Yeah, that's all.

- 22:37Speaker 1: don't really if you had to pick it before you
- 22:40Speaker 1: passed away, you wouldn't have picked it. Talking about my email,

- 24:30Speaker 1: tell me y'all taking pictures of people before they die
- 24:34Speaker 1: just so you could have their picture. Oh ful, we're
- 24:39Speaker 1: keeping on file and then you have a good picture
- 24:41Speaker 1: on your program. And that's what that's what, that's what
- 24:44Speaker 1: we do. They ain't signed up for nothing like that.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Who the hell signed me up for something like that?
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure, but we're trying to schedule where
- 24:52Speaker 1: we can come out beginning of next week so we
- 24:55Speaker 1: can get your picture taken next week week after you
- 24:58Speaker 1: get picture when I'm there, you're not taking no picture
- 25:01Speaker 1: of me before that? That? That don't sound right? Uh sir?
- 25:04Speaker 1: Don't you want to have a good picture on your program?
- 25:06Speaker 1: So you're not taking the picture of me for no
- 25:09Speaker 1: juneral arrangements? That I'm not dead yet? I don't understand that.
- 25:13Speaker 1: What the hell is this about? Nobody who signed me
- 25:16Speaker 1: up for it? Then tell me that much? Uh? So,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I don't have the actual person listened here on who
- 25:21Speaker 1: signs you up, but I do have the number, and
- 25:23Speaker 1: you are Darwin, Mr Darwin. So I didn't sign up
- 25:27Speaker 1: for that. I'm not taking the pictures. Uh, you guys
- 25:31Speaker 1: running around taking pictures of people before they die just
- 25:34Speaker 1: to have a good picture on fail that, sal Man,

- 25:47Speaker 1: I'm not available at all to taking the picture for
- 25:50Speaker 1: funeral that I'm not even dead yet. I don't. I
- 25:52Speaker 1: don't get that that that sounds like a much of
- 25:55Speaker 1: And I who the hell gave you my number? That's
- 25:58Speaker 1: what I want to know. So I'm not quite sure.
- 26:00Speaker 1: But one thing we have to do is we have
- 26:02Speaker 1: to follow through with our jobs. So what we're gonna
- 26:04Speaker 1: have to do is we have to come out there
- 26:06Speaker 1: and take a picture. So I don't wanna, you know,
- 26:10Speaker 1: create a problem, but I have to get a picture

- 26:40Speaker 1: that nn I'm claiming to be dead. I'm not dead.
- 26:43Speaker 1: That's some more bad look dead. I don't know where.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Don't you work for Frank, but I worked I worked

- 27:13Speaker 1: here for that program. And when I'm growing with God,
- 27:16Speaker 1: care about what a picture looks like? Who hadn't my guy?

- 29:08Speaker 1: this here? How do you feel about it? Right? Feel
- 29:11Speaker 1: for you? I never thought you would ignorant, Kanye. But
- 29:19Speaker 1: when I said, you're not gonna put me in that
- 29:22Speaker 1: category right there, you're not gonna. Okay, just put it
- 29:26Speaker 1: side by side j Superman in the White House A
- 29:29Speaker 1: funeral pr company? Which one? Tommy? You are our Kanye?

- 30:07Speaker 1: I'm at Capoo. I'll be acting food to land Acapool
- 30:10Speaker 1: again tonight. What Tommy, when are you gonna? Um? We
- 30:13Speaker 1: can't do it right now, but you have a major
- 30:15Speaker 1: announcement going on in your life. It's time for you
- 30:18Speaker 1: to come clean and tell everybody what's happening. Get some
- 30:22Speaker 1: card to you with these coming up and entertainment news,
- 30:28Speaker 1: Kanye West told President Trump that he wasn't bipolar. Well,
- 30:33Speaker 1: he buys something though. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, I'm
- 30:42Speaker 1: sure you've noticed that our fearless leader h Steve Harvey
- 30:46Speaker 1: is not with us today. It's because of UM. He
- 30:50Speaker 1: lost a dear friend and he left a statement for
- 30:53Speaker 1: um us to read so we can let you know
- 30:57Speaker 1: what's going on. He just didn't miss work just because,
- 31:01Speaker 1: but Steve Steve left a statement that reads as follows.
- 31:04Speaker 1: It is with my deepest regret that I announced the
- 31:07Speaker 1: passing of one of my closest friends and business partners,
- 31:11Speaker 1: Gregory Calhoun. Greg and I spent a lot of time together,
- 31:14Speaker 1: both professionally and personally. I held Greg in both the
- 31:18Speaker 1: highest regard and utmost confidence. It is extremely difficult to
- 31:23Speaker 1: say farewell to a dear brother, a golf partner, and
- 31:27Speaker 1: traveling buddy. But Greg had a brilliant mind and was
- 31:30Speaker 1: a successful businessman, a master negotiator, and one of the
- 31:35Speaker 1: most welcoming and energetic spirits I have ever known. What
- 31:39Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is Greg was about it. You
- 31:42Speaker 1: can hear Steve saying that, but um, that pales in
- 31:46Speaker 1: comparison to what his wife, children, brothers and grandkids must
- 31:50Speaker 1: be feeling. I was with him to the end, but
- 31:53Speaker 1: I miss him already. It is good to know that
- 31:57Speaker 1: my best friend earned a ticket and us entered those
- 32:00Speaker 1: pearly gates and is now teeing off in heaven. My dude,
- 32:05Speaker 1: Greg Calhoun. That's a statement from Steve Harvey as to
- 32:10Speaker 1: why he's grieving right now, why he's not here with
- 32:13Speaker 1: us this morning. He lost a dear friend. In case
- 32:16Speaker 1: you're just joining us, and we all knew Greg Calhoun
- 32:19Speaker 1: and he was just a special, great guy. He really was.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I mean, I was with Steve yesterday and you could
- 32:25Speaker 1: tell he was going through it. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: he got through the show, he did. Yeah, But he
- 32:34Speaker 1: was feeling it. He was feeling it yesterday. I think
- 32:37Speaker 1: he was trying to do that keep his mind off
- 32:38Speaker 1: of Yeah, and and laughter is good for the heart
- 32:41Speaker 1: and the soul and everything. And and when you come
- 32:43Speaker 1: to this job, you get a chance to laugh. And
- 32:45Speaker 1: that's what he was doing, trying to forget in those moments.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But uh, Mr Greg Calhoun will be missed by us
- 32:52Speaker 1: all and especially his dear best friend Steve. Yeah, so
- 32:56Speaker 1: we are calling on all prayer warriors to pray for
- 32:59Speaker 1: ms to Calhoun's family, his friends, and his wife and
- 33:04Speaker 1: and and you know, yeah, his children. And that's why
- 33:08Speaker 1: I said his his immediate family. His extended family is
- 33:12Speaker 1: surely said in the statement. But you know, death is hard,
- 33:15Speaker 1: and um, you know, it's a part of life and
- 33:19Speaker 1: we have to, Yeah, we have to deal with it.
- 33:22Speaker 1: But we need you guys out there to pray to
- 33:24Speaker 1: lift Steve up right now because he is truly, truly
- 33:28Speaker 1: hurting and we saw it yesterday. So pray for him.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And you know, we're all people out there listening. They
- 33:35Speaker 1: you've probably going through the same thing. You've lost someone,
- 33:38Speaker 1: So lift him up and praying and lift the family
- 33:41Speaker 1: absolutely absolutely, you know, And and Steve such a strong guy.
- 33:45Speaker 1: He's you know, with all the jobs and everything, and
- 33:48Speaker 1: you know, a lot of times you don't know what
- 33:50Speaker 1: a person is going through, you don't know their story,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and you know what this is. This is actually one
- 33:55Speaker 1: of my uncle's you know, best friends. I mean really,
- 33:58Speaker 1: really truly one of his best friend you know, not
- 34:00Speaker 1: a lot of people have a lot of best friends.
- 34:03Speaker 1: This Mr Calhoun was actually Steve's best friend. So, um,
- 34:08Speaker 1: you know, Uncle Steve going through right now. So I
- 34:11Speaker 1: can't even imagine what he's going through. I got a
- 34:15Speaker 1: best friend, I still got him. I I don't know
- 34:18Speaker 1: what it feels like. So um um, my heart goes
- 34:21Speaker 1: out to the family of the Calhouns, and my heart
- 34:24Speaker 1: goes out to him, to my uncle who is going
- 34:28Speaker 1: He's grieving right now. He's really going through. So we
- 34:32Speaker 1: all feel it. We do. He was a great guy.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Like we said, you're listening to Steve Kanye compared the
- 34:41Speaker 1: president to make America great again, had to Superman's cap.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Take a listen to this. I'm married to a family
- 34:48Speaker 1: that you know, not a lot of male energy going on.
- 34:53Speaker 1: It's beautiful though, but there's times where you know, it's
- 34:56Speaker 1: something about you know, I love Hillary, I love everyone right,
- 35:00Speaker 1: but the campaign I'm with her just didn't make me
- 35:03Speaker 1: feel as a guy that didn't get to see my
- 35:05Speaker 1: dad all the time, like a guy that could play
- 35:09Speaker 1: catch with his son. It was something about when I
- 35:11Speaker 1: put this hat on and made me feel like Superman.
- 35:15Speaker 1: You made a Superman that was that's my favorite superhero,
- 35:18Speaker 1: and you made a Superman cave for me. Also as
- 35:20Speaker 1: a guy that looks up to you, looks up to
- 35:22Speaker 1: Ralph Lauren, looks up to American industry guys, non political, No,
- 35:27Speaker 1: put the beef on it. How you want to do it?
- 35:28Speaker 1: Five seconds to la and just goes in and gets
- 35:31Speaker 1: it done. Can I say something? Go ahead? When the
- 35:35Speaker 1: president can't even respond, when you more ignorant him and
- 35:40Speaker 1: you can't respond, it's really something wrong. Do I make
- 35:43Speaker 1: sense what I'm what I'm saying? Yeah? As president looking
- 35:49Speaker 1: at when Trump is looking at you like, what is
- 35:55Speaker 1: he talking about? What exactly is he talking about? Exactly? Yeah?
- 36:00Speaker 1: And Kanye also brought hats for Ivanka and Jared Kushner.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Her husband hers rates uh, Ivanka's reads make Earth grade again,
- 36:12Speaker 1: and Jared Kushner says travel space again. Kanye showed President
- 36:17Speaker 1: Trump his concept idea for new Air Force one too,
- 36:21Speaker 1: calling it the iplane, a hydrogen plane. Once you with
- 36:26Speaker 1: a Kardashian, some happens to you. That is the absolute truth.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Everybody has gotten out. You lovely ladies don't no, no, no,
- 36:40Speaker 1: they're beautiful. They're beautiful, they're really nice. They are great women.
- 36:45Speaker 1: But once you went one, something happens. Look at Lamar
- 36:50Speaker 1: Odom what with Lamar Reggie Bush. Yeah he's still up
- 36:57Speaker 1: with yeah, but but he ain't been the same. Sisties
- 37:03Speaker 1: are losing steam. Your theories something losing sea. Lamar Oldham
- 37:09Speaker 1: who went off to the brothel in Las Vegas, he
- 37:11Speaker 1: was not the same after they had broken up by
- 37:15Speaker 1: that time exactly, and that did something to him. He's
- 37:18Speaker 1: been sending some thousand over there. But at the brothel
- 37:21Speaker 1: and then um uh, Bruce Jenner, Hell, it was so good.
- 37:26Speaker 1: He wanted to be a female Kardashian. He changed his
- 37:29Speaker 1: whole Coming up next at thirty four after the hour,
- 37:34Speaker 1: Yes I did, you were going crazy? Jim Brown was
- 37:38Speaker 1: also at the White House with Kanye. We'll talk about that.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning
- 37:45Speaker 1: Show Okay, guys, So Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown,
- 37:49Speaker 1: did you see him? He was also yes, Yes, he
- 37:54Speaker 1: was also in attendance and crazed the President for his
- 37:57Speaker 1: treatment of himself and Kanye. Jim Brown said he had
- 38:01Speaker 1: zero regrets about going to the Oval Office meeting with Kanye.
- 38:05Speaker 1: He's a long supporter. Both of them are actually long
- 38:08Speaker 1: supporters of the president. And take a listen when one
- 38:12Speaker 1: of the reporters asked Jim Brown about the national anthem
- 38:16Speaker 1: issue with the NFL, being that he is a Hall
- 38:18Speaker 1: of Famer running back, and take a listen to what
- 38:21Speaker 1: Mr Brown had to say. Can deal with well, I
- 38:27Speaker 1: can be very blunt about taking a knee. See, first
- 38:30Speaker 1: of all, I'm an American. That flag is my flag.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Things that I've overcome in this country allows to make
- 38:35Speaker 1: me a better person. I don't think that we should
- 38:38Speaker 1: take knees in protests instead of been standing up for
- 38:42Speaker 1: our flag. I think we should work out our problems
- 38:44Speaker 1: as a family. And that's what I would advocate to
- 38:47Speaker 1: my children, to all the young people that I deal with.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I am an American, that flag is my flag, and
- 38:52Speaker 1: I want to represent it that way. Wow. So there
- 38:54Speaker 1: you go. Football so long. But can I say this,
- 38:58Speaker 1: is it all right for me to be against what
- 39:00Speaker 1: he just said? I don't like to do that because
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with Colin Kaepernick taking a
- 39:08Speaker 1: knee about the American flag when he is supporting UH
- 39:12Speaker 1: injustice amongst our people, especially brothers that are being brutally
- 39:17Speaker 1: UH policy with police brutality. I can't take a knee
- 39:23Speaker 1: for that. And this is the time that I decided
- 39:25Speaker 1: to take a knee. I'm not against that. So I
- 39:28Speaker 1: love Jim Brown as a player. I love him as
- 39:32Speaker 1: a philanthropist, I love him as a um AN activist.
- 39:36Speaker 1: But on this particular issue right here, I think I
- 39:39Speaker 1: have a difference from where he stays. I do. I really, JA,
- 39:43Speaker 1: you were saying, yeah, and you can't have that opinion.
- 39:46Speaker 1: I don't. I don't agree with it either. I just
- 39:49Speaker 1: don't agree with them. I like. I like that he
- 39:51Speaker 1: was a grate football player, that he was in the city.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Were put the city and talk about one hundred rifles, No,
- 40:00Speaker 1: weren't talking about I'm gonna talk about what I like
- 40:02Speaker 1: about Jim Brown to don't nobody else see fact that
- 40:05Speaker 1: he was with a lot of white women and all
- 40:07Speaker 1: of his Okay, alright, that's what this is why you're
- 40:14Speaker 1: not supposed to ask these questions to people like him.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I'm sitting over there trying to give you a clear understanding.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Like I love Jim Brown. Let me just say that
- 40:23Speaker 1: I said what I didn't like, but I also said
- 40:26Speaker 1: what I like. Okay, Okay, always go back to you
- 40:31Speaker 1: and your white women. Well, j dates white women, and
- 40:35Speaker 1: that's okay. You like, I ain't. Ain't nobody married that.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I ain't nobody man at that. I got a lot
- 40:42Speaker 1: of friends that I just said manish people. For myself,
- 40:45Speaker 1: what he said was very stupid. I didn't agree with him.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I think the need taking a knee is great for
- 40:52Speaker 1: these football players, but him being with all the white
- 40:55Speaker 1: women that one. Anyway, Jay, do you have a hit
- 40:58Speaker 1: for us today? It's trying to murder ahead, let's move
- 41:02Speaker 1: can I can't do it. I can't do that. I'm
- 41:05Speaker 1: a profit. I wrote a song that's relative for two
- 41:08Speaker 1: damn weeks. Hit it. Kanye West, Kanye West, West, Kanye West,
- 41:19Speaker 1: Kanye West, Kane West. They try to put me down.
- 41:23Speaker 1: They always say you and I'm sick. Won't you shut up? Lead?
- 41:27Speaker 1: A lot of talking just talking about nothing. I'm so kim.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Give my box some pills. I'm rapping words from the
- 41:35Speaker 1: space I'm setting in trumps. You need to buy them. Man,
- 41:39Speaker 1: I wish I was his child? So what he's white?
- 41:42Speaker 1: What's the Kanye West? Kanye West West, Kanye West, Kanye West,
- 41:51Speaker 1: Kame West. The Democratic body trying to say the press
- 41:55Speaker 1: is dirt bad. I think you speak from the heart
- 41:58Speaker 1: and that smooth that one. But it's over the boat.
- 42:02Speaker 1: He's done, So stop crying. You just a rap. Stop trying. Now,
- 42:07Speaker 1: went in the CD drops. You need to buy them.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I've got to pay bills, but I don't get ahead
- 42:12Speaker 1: because kitten gets a fat check. West Kanye West West,
- 42:19Speaker 1: Kanye West, Kanye West West West. J Anthony Brown, you
- 42:32Speaker 1: are a genius. Up next, nephew, tell me Keigo pranks.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 42:42Speaker 1: coming out at the top of the hour, right about
- 42:44Speaker 1: four minutes after today's strawberry letter. Now, the subject, okay,
- 42:50Speaker 1: the subject is he goes on and on and on.
- 42:55Speaker 1: But right now, right that's what I do. Call That's
- 43:01Speaker 1: what okay, okay, okay, Junior, yeah, j what caller, Yes,
- 43:09Speaker 1: do y'all have big bugs? No, no, wait wait wait

- 43:27Speaker 1: bug on you know where? No? Boy, if I see one,
- 43:33Speaker 1: they usually ain't on me. And I'm throwing my mattress.
- 43:37Speaker 1: So good one. Let's let's get this understood. Nobody has
- 43:41Speaker 1: ever really seen a big bug? Who didn't seen? Who've
- 43:48Speaker 1: seen the bid books I have at a hotel? Now
- 43:55Speaker 1: that you know that? Whatever? Here? It is big bug? Hello? Hellong?

- 44:27Speaker 1: And it's basically a financial situation that I'm owed some
- 44:32Speaker 1: money from her, so I kind of need to talk

- 51:17Speaker 1: not here today, and we have a special statement from
- 51:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey as to why he is not here. We'll
- 51:23Speaker 1: tell you about that right at four minutes after the hour.
- 51:25Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, I'm sure
- 51:29Speaker 1: you've noticed that our fearless leader, Uh, Steve Harvey is
- 51:34Speaker 1: not with us today. Uh it's because of UM. He
- 51:37Speaker 1: lost a dear friend, and he left a statement for
- 51:41Speaker 1: UM us to read so we can let you know
- 51:45Speaker 1: what's going on. He just didn't miss work just because,
- 51:48Speaker 1: but Steve. Steve left a statement that reads as follows.
- 51:52Speaker 1: It is with my deepest regret that I announced the
- 51:54Speaker 1: passing of one of my closest friends and business partners,
- 51:58Speaker 1: Gregory Calhoun. Greg and I spent a lot of time together,
- 52:02Speaker 1: both professionally and personally. I held Greg in both the
- 52:06Speaker 1: highest regard and utmost confidence. It is extremely difficult to
- 52:10Speaker 1: say farewell to a dear brother, a golf partner, and
- 52:14Speaker 1: traveling buddy. But Greg had a brilliant mind and was
- 52:18Speaker 1: a successful businessman, a master negotiator, and one of the
- 52:22Speaker 1: most welcoming and energetic spirits I have ever known. What
- 52:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is Greg was about it. You
- 52:30Speaker 1: can hear Steve saying that, but um, that pales in
- 52:33Speaker 1: comparison to what his wife, children, brothers and grandkids must
- 52:37Speaker 1: be feeling. I was with him to the end, but
- 52:40Speaker 1: I miss him already. It is good to know that
- 52:44Speaker 1: my best friend earned a ticket and has entered those
- 52:48Speaker 1: pearly gates and is now teeing off in heaven. My dude,
- 52:52Speaker 1: Greg Calhoun. That's a statement from Steve Harvey as to
- 52:57Speaker 1: why he's grieving right now, why he's not here, uh
- 53:00Speaker 1: with us this morning. He lost a dear friend in
- 53:03Speaker 1: case you're just joining us. And we all knew Greg
- 53:06Speaker 1: Calhoun and he was just a special great guy. He
- 53:09Speaker 1: really was. I mean it was with Steve yesterday and
- 53:12Speaker 1: you could tell he was going through it. Oh yeah, yeah, Yeah,
- 53:16Speaker 1: he got through the show, he did, yeah, but he
- 53:21Speaker 1: was feeling it. He he was feeling it yesterday. I
- 53:24Speaker 1: think he was trying to do that keep his mind
- 53:25Speaker 1: off of Yeah. And and laughter is good for the
- 53:28Speaker 1: heart and the soul and everything. And and when you
- 53:30Speaker 1: come to this job, you get a chance to laugh,
- 53:32Speaker 1: and that's what he was doing trying to forget in
- 53:35Speaker 1: those moments. But uh, Mr Greg Calhoun will be missed
- 53:39Speaker 1: by us all and especially his dear best friend's Steave. Alright,
- 53:43Speaker 1: switching gears. Now it is time for today's Strawberry Letter.
- 53:46Speaker 1: And if you need advice on relationships, on dating, on work,
- 53:50Speaker 1: on sex, on parenting, and more, please submit your Strawberry
- 53:53Speaker 1: Letter to Steve Harvey f M. And click submit Strawberry Letter.
- 53:59Speaker 1: That's it. Go up, Hold on tight, we got it
- 54:01Speaker 1: for you. It is the Strawberry Letter subject. He goes
- 54:06Speaker 1: on and on and on. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am
- 54:10Speaker 1: a beautiful thirty eight year old female with a fifty
- 54:13Speaker 1: four year old man. Everything in our relationship is perfect
- 54:18Speaker 1: except our sex life. The big problem is that my
- 54:21Speaker 1: man can go for hours, and I'm not exaggerating. He
- 54:24Speaker 1: doesn't take any male enhancement products, but he's in great
- 54:28Speaker 1: physical shape for his age. I have been knowing this
- 54:31Speaker 1: guy for thirteen years. We dated a while ago, then
- 54:35Speaker 1: he got married. After his divorce, we started dating again.
- 54:39Speaker 1: We talk, we laugh, travel and he is great with
- 54:42Speaker 1: my kids. The only problem is that he wears me
- 54:45Speaker 1: completely out. It makes me feel insecure. When we are intimate,
- 54:50Speaker 1: because I feel like I'm not handling my business like
- 54:53Speaker 1: I should. He told me that he has always had
- 54:57Speaker 1: a hard time finishing up, and I'm not doing anything wrong,
- 55:00Speaker 1: he says, he almost gets there, but then nothing happens.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. The first twenty minutes are great,
- 55:08Speaker 1: but after that it gets to be a bit too much.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I encouraged him to go see a doctor. I need
- 55:14Speaker 1: him to fix this issue as soon as possible. Can
- 55:17Speaker 1: you offer any advice in the meantime. Well, Um, my
- 55:21Speaker 1: advice to you would be to take his advice and
- 55:25Speaker 1: his words of comfort, which were you know, Look, he
- 55:29Speaker 1: enjoys it with you. Um. Uh, it's okay, it's it's
- 55:33Speaker 1: not your problem. Um, he's always had a hard time
- 55:36Speaker 1: finishing up. You're not doing anything wrong. You have to
- 55:39Speaker 1: listen to that, because obviously you're not. This is just
- 55:43Speaker 1: a person that you're not sexually compatible with, uh anymore
- 55:47Speaker 1: because of his issue. It takes him a while. Uh,
- 55:51Speaker 1: maybe he does need to see a doctor. You never know. Um,
- 55:54Speaker 1: you know, I mean usually guys have to see a
- 55:56Speaker 1: doctor because uh, um, let's see because does of e
- 56:00Speaker 1: d Okay, that's a good way to put it because
- 56:03Speaker 1: of e D. But he has the opposite uh situation.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Some women would probably love it. Uh. You, on the
- 56:10Speaker 1: other hand, this doesn't work for you. So compative compatibility
- 56:14Speaker 1: is the key in every relationship. Maybe you both need
- 56:18Speaker 1: to go and see a doctor or a sex therapist
- 56:21Speaker 1: or something like that, a legit one, so you guys
- 56:23Speaker 1: can find out, you know, find that sweet spot between
- 56:26Speaker 1: the two of you where it's not too much for
- 56:28Speaker 1: you and it's not too little for him or doesn't
- 56:30Speaker 1: take him too long to get there. Uh. So that's
- 56:34Speaker 1: my that's my advice to you. Um, both of you guys,
- 56:38Speaker 1: see someone, see a doctor. And because it could be
- 56:42Speaker 1: something medical. You never know, it could be something medical.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Who's going next? Jay, Hello to do Okay, I'm trying
- 56:57Speaker 1: to put this so you can say this on rape
- 56:59Speaker 1: I know. Okay. You know how when you when you
- 57:06Speaker 1: we all like down fries, right, Okay, I'm using that metaphor.
- 57:10Speaker 1: So sometimes before you before you get home, you try
- 57:15Speaker 1: some of the fries before you get there. You understand
- 57:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying. In the bag, you put your hand
- 57:22Speaker 1: in the bag and and and enjoy a couple of
- 57:25Speaker 1: the fries. So by the time you get home, and
- 57:28Speaker 1: most cases sometimes you buy two bags. You eat one
- 57:31Speaker 1: bag in the cock. Then when you get home, you
- 57:34Speaker 1: have another bag for you to go with your burglar
- 57:38Speaker 1: to go with his what he needs to do is
- 57:41Speaker 1: get two bags of fries, eat one by himself. Then
- 57:46Speaker 1: he has a bag of fries to enjoy with his lady.
- 57:49Speaker 1: You unseld saying, have a bag of fries by yourself,
- 57:54Speaker 1: somewhere where nobody knows you having fries. You fried, You
- 58:00Speaker 1: just enjoyed in fries. Then when you get with your lady,
- 58:04Speaker 1: y'all share the bag of fries that you got left
- 58:07Speaker 1: and and it's enjoyment. Fair body, anybody does that make sense?
- 58:10Speaker 1: It make a lot of sense. It makes a lot
- 58:12Speaker 1: of Yeah, none of the ladies understood what I'm saying.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to you. Hear me going, you see fighting
- 58:21Speaker 1: it but answering at the same time. Break this down. Okay,
- 58:25Speaker 1: say you got a gun. That's kind of that's kind
- 58:29Speaker 1: of rough, but go ahead. Okay, you want to go
- 58:31Speaker 1: somewhere and practice shooting, fire a couple of shots off,
- 58:36Speaker 1: saying for New Year's it's early. Then when you get
- 58:42Speaker 1: to the other fine range, you only got a few
- 58:45Speaker 1: bullets left. Does that make a sense? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 58:50Speaker 1: see what, I see what you're trying trying to say.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I see what you're trying to go. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah,
- 58:56Speaker 1: But I think I got that. I got a way
- 58:58Speaker 1: we can work this out. Can you make it radio friendly?
- 59:01Speaker 1: Because I I just couldn't. When we come back at
- 59:06Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour, we'll have part two of
- 59:08Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. The subject is he goes on and
- 59:12Speaker 1: on and on. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 59:21Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it's time for part
- 59:25Speaker 1: two of today's Strawberry Letter. The subject is, he goes
- 59:29Speaker 1: on and on and on. Now Shirley is out, I'm
- 59:32Speaker 1: gonna handle part two of the letter for her. Now.
- 59:35Speaker 1: This letter is about this woman. She's thirty eight years
- 59:38Speaker 1: old and she's dating a man who's fifty four year old.
- 59:41Speaker 1: They've been knowing it fifty four years old, and they've
- 59:44Speaker 1: been knowing each other for a while, and they kind of,
- 59:49Speaker 1: you know, they've been dating. Her problem is this dude
- 59:53Speaker 1: can go and ladies, I mean, he can get busy
- 59:57Speaker 1: in the sack and she's just exhaust that you're here.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: She does some advice what kind of advice can you?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: First of all, the girl because she thinks he needs
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to go see a doctor. No, no, he don't know. No,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: he don't need to see No, damn about it. No
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: he don't. There's nothing wrong with him. There's nothing wrong
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: with him. He is doing a great job at his
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say profession, but the man is doing
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: an outstanding job at what he do. This is what
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: he do, okay, and he's good at it. So here's
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: what I'm gonna say. He's so good at he good
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: at what he doing. A man after my own heart,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you know what. I don't know if I'm good as
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he is, but I would say this, you cannot handle
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: the job that he putting out. You can't do it.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: And you you already said that. So guess what Bring
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: some more people in that can that can help you
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: get through the job you can't do. So here I
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: want you ask then, what I want you to do
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: for your man? Yeah? You know? You know you look
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: people how many times people that laid concrete and said, man,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I I don't know, I don't need too much. I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: don't know if you know what? You know what I'm
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: gonna call rockem Rocketma Concrete, Rocketma Concrete. They're gonna come
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: over here. You know what we're gonna also called Mason
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Concrete and let them come in here and let them
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: do the backside of the building. So we're gonna have him.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna be the main I'm gonna be I'm gonna
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: be the main area. I'm gonna be the main area.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Then we're gonna have Rocketmo Concrete on the side, and
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: then we're gonna have Mason Concrete on the other side,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and then we would have what they're looking for, calling
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: rock a Mo and mathon Can I can I say
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: sometime because if he don't call for help, he gonna
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: be there on that job a long time. And but
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: but he not good at the job. No, all rockam
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: you know what it's like? You know, like was it
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: like you haven't seen him Kong Fu movie and it'd
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: be just one master and then they bring him like
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: nann of stupid. They got to get some help in him, right,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: expecient expecient? When brute Lee, When Brute Lee, everybody behind
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the swinging, I don't worry, but why can't I jump in? Okay,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: So now her problem is she she loves what happens,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: the intimacy, and she's enjoying it. But then you know,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the job is not complete, and so she feels like
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: there's something wrong with her that she's not helping him
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: get the job complete. So she feels like he needs
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to go to a doctor. You see what I'm saying
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: that's in the letter as well. To do was get
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: a doctor to help him. Man who can go long,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: go shout? Don't know? Man don't know? Don't know? Man
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: that go long, want to go shout? Okay, I'm gonna
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: let you how that sound that? Don't don't iver tell yourself.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I didn't wear long and shout. I chew long every
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: time I want to go long. I don't know if
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: they want to go shot? How that sounds? Going to
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: the doctor telling you you know, you know, you know,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: passing way both more fun than Okay, we got first down,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: we we we got we got some yardage on our
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: on our record. We got a lot going on. Wait
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: a minute, guys, wait a minute. So now, Jay, you
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: were saying, what now at the doctor's office? What we
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: sound like time? And maybe you're not to do a
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: quick reenactment of the doctor comes plaining. Yeah, he go
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: too long. Okay, come on here we go, let's go,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: let's go, let's go. Let's want to be the man.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I'm the man, you're the doctor. Okay, all right? Oh
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: in this, doc, man, I gotta I gotta man. I
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: got a serious issue. Man, it's it's really bringing my
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: relationship down. I need to talk to you, man, listen,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: hold on, hold on my calls. Oh man, hey man,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for you to just be talking to
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: me and get but I need you to get me

- 1:04:26Speaker 1: to him, listen, Doc, I'm not reaching where I want
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to reach. I'm reaching it late, you know what I'm
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: going long story show, I'm going too long. Like I
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: really really like to go in in fifteen minutes. I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: would like to be there. You're doing an out you
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: our in. No, I'm an hour and a half, damn God,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: just imagining something like that. Go right ahead. I'm an
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I want to have died. But but yeah, yeah, see me,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I'm a bunch of three in it's myself and go
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: rund here and talk so much information, doctor, doc. You're

- 1:05:32Speaker 1: This this this is all me, doctor, that's all. You
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: ain't taking nothing. I ain't taking nothing. Doctors, don't let

- 1:05:43Speaker 1: This is unbelievable that Dr Jenkings. Is that anything you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: can help me get there faster because I'm I'm half
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: hour and a half. No bake, no, no, no freak.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: It's a consistent It's I'm consistent. You can be for
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: the nurse. Yes, I'm the nurse and I'm here on
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: behalf of his woman in the letter, she's exhausted. Okay,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: all right, email, let's instagram us your thoughts on today.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: We gotta go. Coming up in ten minutes. Kanye his
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: bizarre rant at the White House yesterday. Come on, nurse,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: get off me. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: I'm sure you've noticed that are fearless leader. Steve Harvey
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: is not with us today. It's because of um, he
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: lost a dear friend, and he left a statement for
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: us to read so we can let you know what's
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: going on. He just didn't miss work just because Steve
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: left a statement that reads as follows. It is with
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: my deepest regret that I announce to the passing of
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: one of my closest friends and business partners, Gregory Calhoun.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Greg and I spent a lot of time together, both
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: professionally and personally. I held Greg in both the highest
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: regard and utmost confidence. It is extremely difficult to say
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: farewell to a dear brother, a golf partner, and traveling buddy.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: But Greg had a brilliant mind and was a successful businessman,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: a master negotiator, and one of the most welcoming and
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: energetic spirits I have ever known. What I'm trying to
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: say is Greg was bout it. You can hear Steve
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: saying that, But um, that pales in comparison to what
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: his wife, children, brothers and grandkids must be feeling. I
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: was with him to the end, but I miss him already.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: It is good to know that my best friend earned
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: a ticket and has entered those pearly gates and is
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: now teeing off in heaven. My dude, Greg Calhoun. That's
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: a statement from Steve Harvey as to why he's grieving
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: right now, why he's not here with us this morning.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: He lost a dear friend. In case you're just joining us,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: And we all knew Greg Calhoun, and he was just
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: a special great guy. He really was. I mean, I
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: was with Steve yesterday and you could tell he was
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: going through it. Oh yeah, yeah, Yeah, he got through
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the show, he did, yeah, but he was feeling it.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: He was feeling it yesterday. I think he was trying
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to do that keep his mind off of Yeah, and
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: and laughter is good for the heart and the soul
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: and everything. And and when you come to this job,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you get a chance to laugh. And that's what he
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: was doing trying to forget in those moments. But uh,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Mr Greg Calhoun will be missed by us all and
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: especially his dear best friends. Steve. Alright, switching gears now,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: we are still helping our neighbors and friends in the
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Florida Panhandle affected by Hurricane Michael. I mean, this storm
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: left a trail of destruction and this, you know what,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: this one actually feels like it was more serious than
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the first one coast ever. Oh my god, that hit
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: the Carolinas though. I just think that. Man, I'm I'm so,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I don't know. My heart goes out to the people
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: in Carolinas. Let me say that because they got a
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: double hit. Caller. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: back to back storms. I mean in some parts also too,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: of the Florida Panhandle coastal cities, these cities were just devastated,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: just destroyed. I mean nine feet storm surges, a hundred
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and fifty five miles per hour winds some of those
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: coastal cities and those the big resort vacation cities. People
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: come to those areas. Yeah, Junior, you always go down
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: to those areas when you see when you see that
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: the roof has been torn off of gymnasiums and you
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: can see the that you can the basketball court down below.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: They give you an aerial view. I'm like, this is
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: real wind coming through. This is the truth. Serious, it
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: was a serious destructive storm, and so we are calling
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Nation. We've been asking you all week.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Go to Red Cross dot org or you can text
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: the word Michael to nine zero nine nine to make
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: your donation today. Every little bit helps, whatever you can afford.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: We thank you for that, and also too in Tallahassee,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: you know we are on the air there. Um I
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: saw information for Florida A and M University, you know,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: the home of fam Mew and the Rattlers, that the
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: campus will reopen on Monday, this Monday and they have
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: full power. Yeah, so that's good news for Florida A
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: and M r HBCU. We love their university. And the
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: president put out a statement that classes will resume this Monday, October.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: So yeah. And then talking about our president, it just
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: goes to show how out of touch he is to
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: do a campaign rallied. These people are getting hit. But
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: one of the biggest and hardest hurricanes to come along
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: in a long time. And not only that, JA yesterday
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: hosting Kanye at the White House when all of this
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: destruction is going on and Ricane that's another and I
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: hate to say it like that, but Kanye was a
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: hurricane yesterday, that that was a damn hurricane. Well he
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: was a big bag win. You absolutely ran about them, man,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: definitely did it. If our president that he might want
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: to go like visit some damages, you know, talk and checkover,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: that would be the right. Why are you sitting here
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: with this boy? Yeah, that's what makes it even more embarrassing. Well,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I'll tell you during that meeting yesterday, that lengthy meeting
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump and Kanye West in the over office. Uh,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you know, Kanye admits that he supported the president. A
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: lot of celebrities on Twitter, they could not believe what
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: they saw. They slammed Kanye a you uh talked about
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: being missed diagnosed of having a bipolar disorder. He talked
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: about that with the bipolar discorder. Did you get that?
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I didn't hear bipolar. Okay, we'll take a listen to this. No, no,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: that's what you was here. Take a listen. Listen. I
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: was diagnosed bipolar disorder. I was connected with a neuro
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: psychologist that works with the athletes in the NBA in
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the NFL, and he he looked at my brain. If
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you gole on three parts, I'm go go ahead. Dropped
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: some balls with your ninety eight percentile i Q tests.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I had a seventy five percent till of all human beings,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: but it was counting eight numbers got words authors of being.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: So I'm gonna work on that one. The other one,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Tesla Freud, you know, so um he said that I
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: actually wasn't bipolar. I had sleep deprivation, which could cause
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: dementia ten to twenty years from now, where I wouldn't
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: even remember my son's thing. So all this power that
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I got and I'm taking my son to the game
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: and all that I wouldn't be able to remember his
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: name from a misdiagnosic, it's no I got. It's not
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: it's not funny. It's really not. It's not really needs help.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: It's very sad that, you know, the people who are

- 1:19:11Speaker 1: a little further we got the Jacksonville Jaguars and they
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: are on their way to Dallas to play the Cowboys. Well,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I can never, ever in the history of football, and
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: not knowing a damn thing ever pick Dallas to win anything. Ever,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I'm here to hate. That's my only team I hate.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about football. I'm just on this

- 1:20:51Speaker 1: He's not picking on nothing that's got to do with football.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: You ain't got this, ain't gonna do logic. You don't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: like his logic? All right, Well, what's you guys? Tommy?
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Can I say this? Everybody who really knew a lot
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: about football, and that would be the only people y'all
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: would let watch football? Would me? A whole lot of
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: people watch football. A lot of people watch football that
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: don't know nothing about football. I'm one up. You're real?
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Kanye is right? You have do you have a hat on?
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Right now? Great again? All right? Here we go. Here
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: we go Karansas City Chems who are five and oh

- 1:21:38Speaker 1: last week. So I'm gonna go with this. I'm just
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: repeating something here and this will make me sound like
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: I know about football. Just gonna be my push game.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: You don't game. You gotta get a push game every weekend.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: You ain't pimping player. You ain't pimping. You gotta make
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: a decision. I'm gonna go with that. Kansas City, Good God,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: y'all got one more this money. This is Money Night
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: football San Francisco. Forty Niners will be in Green Bay
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: playing the Green Bay Packers. I love Green and Go
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: because that's my high school colors, John School. But I'm
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: just trying to do my method. Did we go back
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: to South Carolina again? For no reason? I love that
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Green Go. I got to go with that Green and Go.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Gotta go with it. You change, so you're picking the Packers,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: you challenge. I'll tell you what time he won't be
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: picking next week? You know, j you know what they'll do.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Let's see what he did, though, he picked it according
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: to how he wants to pick it. Yeah, let's let's
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: let's see. Let's yeah, let's his own formula. Let's see
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: what he did when we come back, um, Monday, Monday,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: we'll see what he did. And then, like I said,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: if he in your words, I'm a rosa, y'all gonna
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: bow down to me? I doubt it, But okay, okay,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: what you're not gonna do is quote I'm a rosa.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: We can't do I'm a Rosa and Kanye too much.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: All right, so you guys are done, Yeah, we're done. Okay,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: so listen to this. Saturday tomorrow is my fifth birthday. Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: yes yes, let me say this caller what my wife
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: has told me. It's called a birthday party on Saturday
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: and we go, so don't be playing in nothing. I
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: was like, wait anyway, she said, I'm not hearing that
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: we're going to call its birthday party. Like okay, that's
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: where we're going, you know. Okay, So here's the deal.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Here's the deal. My birthday, my birthday, actual birthday is tomorrow,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: so you know, Shirley and I are going to Chicago
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: for since destruct. So the following Saturday is my birthday party.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: My husband has planned a huge fiftieth birthday party and
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: we're gonna have like a casino night theme. So were
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: don't be kicking it, gamble, Yes, is my favorite dude
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: gonna be there, Yes, already, gonna be already. Gratulation. Thank
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: you guys, and shout out to all the libra's out
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: there is lib receives in when we come back. We'll
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: be back at thirty three after the hours you're listening
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kanye compared the President's
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Make America Great Again had to Superman's cape. Take a
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: listen to this. I'm married to a family that kid off,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: not a lot of male energy going on. It's beautiful though,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: but there's times where you know it's something about you know,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: I love Hillary, I love everyone right, but the campaign
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I'm with her just didn't make me feel as a
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: guy that didn't get to see my dad all the time,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: like a guy that could play catch with his son.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: It was something about when I put this hat on
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: and made me feel like Superman. You made a Superman
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: that was that's my favorite superhero, and you made a
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Superman cape for me. Also, as a guy that looks
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: up to you, looks up to Ralph Loren, looks up
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: to American industry guys, non political, No, put the bee
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: bond and how do you want to do it? Five seconds?
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Tol And just goes in and gets it done. Can
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I say something? Go ahead? When the president can't even respond,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: When you more ignorant than him and you can't respond,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: it's really something wrong. Do I make sense what I'm
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Yeah. Look at when Trump is looking
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: at you, like, what is he talking about? What exactly
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: is he talking about? Exactly? Yeah, And Kanye also brought
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: hats for Ivanka and Jared Kushner, her husband. Hers reads
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: h Ivanka's reads make Earth grade again, and Jared Kushner
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: says travel space again. Kanye showed President Trump his concept
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: idea for new Air Force one too, calling it the iplane,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: a hydrogen plane. Once you with a Kardashian, some happens
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: to you. That is absolutely true. Everybody has gotten out ladies. No, no,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: they're beautiful, they're beautiful, they're really nice, they are great women.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: But once you went on, something happens. Look at Lamar
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Odom what with Lamar Regid Bush or yeah he's still yeah,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: but but he ain't been the saint. This the end
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: of Carlies are losing steam. Your theories are something. No,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: it's not losing steam. Lamar Oldham who went off to
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: the brothel in Las Vegas, he was not the same
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: after they had broken up by that time, exactly, and
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: that being something to him he's been sending some times
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: and over now but butt the brothel and then um uh,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: Bruce Jenner hell it was so good. He wanted to
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: be a female Kardashian. He changed his whole coming up next,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: Yes I did. She were going crazy. Alright, more of
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, guys,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: we are here wrapping up the show. Last break of
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: the day. It's been one crazy week. It was crazy yesterday.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: It was embarrassing crazy at the one. Do you know
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: what her Kanye cousins is feeling right now? Yeah, family,
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: they should be concerned. Tommy, anybody named West, it is
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: probably catching it. Yeah, I would think so, wild wild West,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: Jim West, Jim remember Jim West? Yeah? Was he was
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: he Batman? Was he Batman? That's Adam Adam Adam West,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Adam West. That was Batman. No, not now, the West
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: family going through all the all the West. It's really
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: um catching it. But it's it's kind of sad. It's
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: really good. It's very very I did not expect that.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: I didn't expect that, and Trump did not. It's Trump
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: was almost had a look on his face like somebody
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: to get him away from me. Yeah, honestly to be
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: honest with y'all. Me and jay Z is just we
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: we just do with this. I am talked to jay Z,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: but I know we both just do with this. Well,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: you know the Carters, they said that they've cut ties
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: with and the Miles is to me and Jackie did
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: the same thing. What did your talk many? It's a
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: very sad situation. And imagine that this goes on at
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: the house all the time. You know, we just saw
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: a little bit of it. This goes on at the
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: house all the time. I don't think Calabasas was good
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: for him. Well he's in Chicago, a Lotti's Kanye and
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: he's with his dad. You know they dude. But but
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: but after today, though, after yesterday, do do Chicago still
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: won't him over there? Well they didn't. They didn't want
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: him at that. What's the festival that's coming up? They
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: don't want Well, I'll be in Chicago to borrow a
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: question for you. Can you go to a man in
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: the street force a woman in the street. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: the question is does Chicago want Kanye? That's our question.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: And we're laughing, but it's serious. It's like really scary, man, Yeah,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: it's really scary. Yeah, so we just gotta pray for
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: our brother. Yeah, I just gotta pray for him and
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: hopefully he needs. Like I said, I'll be in Chicago
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: tomorrow Australia and I will be there in the shy.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: We are fighting to end breast cancer. On my birthday,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: October thirteenth birthday. What a blessing. But anyway, you don't
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: like the way that flow up, you do? It's here, Jack,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: You better embrace it. You better embrace it. Girl. You
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: know when you lie about your age so much, you're like, whoa, whoa.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: But you look good, though, look good, honestly, honestly, seriously,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: you look good. You were coming, raising a beautiful daughter,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: got a husband, got a fan at a home. You
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: got a job, girl. Last Uncle Jr. He's fifty. Ain
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: ain't got none of this. He just got the number.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: Not Uncle j. We're looking at him as junior. He
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: got he how he got off the junior? Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: He Let me tell everybody, Sister Strout Chicago Salvation Army,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: the Croc Center. It's at twelve fifty West one hundred
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: and nineteenth Street in Chicago. Tommy, you were in Toledo,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Ohio this weekend, right, Yeah, I'm in Toledo, Ohio. I
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: got I did a show last night, I got to tonight,

- 1:32:59Speaker 1: go going on. He just didn't miss work just because,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: But Steve Steve left a statement that reads as follows.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: It is with my deepest regret that I announced the
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: passing of one of my closest friends and business partners,
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Gregory Calhoun. Greg and I spent a lot of time together,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: both professionally and personally. I held Greg in both the
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: highest regard and utmost confidence. It is extremely difficult to
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: say farewell to a dear brother, a golf partner, and
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: traveling buddy. But Greg had a brilliant mind and was
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: a successful businessman, a master negotiator, and one of the
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: most welcoming and energetic spirits I have ever known. What
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is Greg was about it. You
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: can hear Steve saying that, But um, that pales in
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: comparison to what his wife, children, brothers, and grandkids must
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: be feeling. I was with him to the end, but
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: I miss him already. It is good to know that
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: my best friend earned a ticket and has entered those
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: pearly gates and is now teeing off in heaven. My dude,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: Greg Calhoun that's a statement from Steve Harvey as to
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: why he's grieving right now, why he's not here with
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: us this morning. He lost a dear friend in case
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: you're just joining us, and we all knew Greg Calhoun
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: and he was just a special, great guy. He really was.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: I mean, it was with Steve yesterday and you could
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: tell he was going through it. Oh yeah, yeah. Mr
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: Greg Calhoun will be missed by us all and especially
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: his dear best friend Steven. For all Steve Harvey contests,
