On July 4, a violent stabbing erupted in Sioux City’s northside, leaving two teens injured — one critically. Eighteen-year-old Marquis Riley, from Brookings, SD, was arrested after allegedly stabbing an underage boy multiple times during a heated altercation. A third teen, Ted Cooper, tried to intervene and was also stabbed. Riley, now jailed with a $10K bond, faces a serious felony charge for willful injury causing life-threatening harm.
