- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve har listening to the movie together for
- 0:26Speaker 1: Steve hard Please me, I don't join join me in
- 0:52Speaker 1: doing me. Honey, you gotta turn ing to a you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. You haven't got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad, h I sure will come
- 2:03Speaker 1: on it. Everybody you are listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on now, dig me one and only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. What God doing y'all? Huh? What
- 2:16Speaker 1: are he doing? What are you doing in your life?
- 2:17Speaker 1: He's doing something, He moving, he working. Don't lose your
- 2:21Speaker 1: patience though, so I did that before. Don't lose your patience.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Don't don't. Don't get so sick of waiting that you
- 2:29Speaker 1: take matters into your own hands. Don't do that. Boy,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you're blowing it. Listen to me. You're listening to somebody
- 2:37Speaker 1: who's done it that way. I had a dream. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: had a vision. I had some hope, I had some faith,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I had some aspirations. But I got a little impatient
- 2:48Speaker 1: waiting on it. So I tried a couple other things
- 2:50Speaker 1: move it along. But I can't tell you how I
- 2:53Speaker 1: messed it up. Then I messed it up. Then, because
- 2:55Speaker 1: God gave me the power of decision, what I had
- 2:58Speaker 1: to do was then after matters into my own hand,
- 3:02Speaker 1: messed it up. Now, guess what, He still got something
- 3:05Speaker 1: from me. But now I gotta fix all the mistakes. Now,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I gotta straighten them out. I gotta I gotta suffer
- 3:11Speaker 1: some consequences. I gotta pay for my transgressions, all of that,
- 3:15Speaker 1: All of that, it's gotta go down. You can't do
- 3:19Speaker 1: something wrong and not pay for it. It's you call it, calma,
- 3:23Speaker 1: call it whatever you wanna call it. Every action has
- 3:27Speaker 1: an equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just
- 3:32Speaker 1: stays sunny all the time, you might think it's cool,
- 3:35Speaker 1: but there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 1: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 1: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So you need you need the opposite, You need the darkness,
- 3:50Speaker 1: so you can get your break from that sun. You
- 3:52Speaker 1: need the rain so you can nourish the roots, so
- 3:55Speaker 1: that sun it can soak up the sun and get
- 3:58Speaker 1: the benefit of the sun. If you don't get the opposite,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you got a problem, man. And it happens throughout nature,
- 4:04Speaker 1: it happens throughout your life. Don't think that you can
- 4:08Speaker 1: do wrong and not have to pay for that. Do
- 4:12Speaker 1: you think this is man? We we think man, because
- 4:15Speaker 1: we'd have made a decision that we think it is
- 4:17Speaker 1: best for us, and no matter how it to affect
- 4:19Speaker 1: nobody else, we got the right to make that call. No,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you don't. Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you
- 4:26Speaker 1: into the gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need
- 4:28Speaker 1: to be this a way to be down with us.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I tell you what. Get yourself stuck on chuck with
- 4:33Speaker 1: that gang. See how many of them be there for you. Oh,
- 4:35Speaker 1: they'll go around the corner with you and starts shooting.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But okay, when it's time to do some time and
- 4:41Speaker 1: they can lessen their centers, you're gonna get that time.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They're gonna point their finger dead at you. I watched
- 4:46Speaker 1: for eight hours all the time, man, I watch Lock
- 4:48Speaker 1: Up Raw all the time, all the time, man, all
- 4:52Speaker 1: the time. Ain't no real cold dudes out there just
- 4:55Speaker 1: holding to the mantra and sticking to it. Even the
- 4:58Speaker 1: mob turns stateside, evidence go fed all that. Now we
- 5:02Speaker 1: are in the honor hood. We didn't created this ignorant
- 5:04Speaker 1: mess called no snitching. With that hignorant mess, you don't
- 5:07Speaker 1: even understand. No snitching was created by criminals as a
- 5:11Speaker 1: code of honor. If you do dirt and you get
- 5:13Speaker 1: busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name up if
- 5:16Speaker 1: I was with you. That's a code of honor amongst
- 5:18Speaker 1: the thieves. Now, so many code of honor thieves that
- 5:21Speaker 1: then came out of prison. They ain't got no honor.
- 5:23Speaker 1: They haven't bought that stuff back to the street. Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching. No snitching, You
- 5:28Speaker 1: got to be crazy. That's for people who disobey the law.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's who people have made a code of honor amongst
- 5:35Speaker 1: themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you get busted, don't
- 5:38Speaker 1: drag me down. What you just do your time. Oh man,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't bring that stuff out here to me. I'm
- 5:43Speaker 1: a law biden citizen dog. I'm trying to live right
- 5:46Speaker 1: over here, man. I don't want to crack house up
- 5:48Speaker 1: street from my mama's house. I'm trying to do right
- 5:51Speaker 1: out here. Man. You can't do wrong and expect wrong
- 5:54Speaker 1: not to come to you. You got to make a
- 5:56Speaker 1: decision every day to do right. God ain't got no
- 5:59Speaker 1: protection you on dirt. You got what you got coming.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You made a decision. You go down there to get
- 6:06Speaker 1: some you might got get got see, we got to
- 6:10Speaker 1: come on. I'm talking to so many men out here
- 6:13Speaker 1: right now. I should have said that didn't mean getting
- 6:15Speaker 1: but a conversation, and kind of got away from me.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I was going to talk to you about something else
- 6:18Speaker 1: this morning, but did just only man. Because our communities. Man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: it's just going to the pot man, because it ain't
- 6:24Speaker 1: nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they
- 6:29Speaker 1: see that young dude over that doing wrong. Look at
- 6:31Speaker 1: them foods over that man. Go over there and talk
- 6:33Speaker 1: to one of them. Pull them to the side. Man.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man, let
- 6:41Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:45Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: let me share something I learned I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 1: you was doing. You know. It's like Tommy did a
- 6:52Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: the dude the prank was he called this limo company
- 6:59Speaker 1: to ask this limo driver to take him to this
- 7:03Speaker 1: location late at night, and the limo driver got a
- 7:07Speaker 1: young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't normally work like that. But how long you need it?
- 7:11Speaker 1: He's say, for just about an hour? He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:20Speaker 1: give you a break, young man. You're trying to do something.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave the address. The
- 7:25Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 7:31Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He say yeah, And I'm gonna
- 7:34Speaker 1: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 7:36Speaker 1: out that bank, I need for you to flow it
- 7:40Speaker 1: that to dude with the limo. He stopped writing. He said, ho,
- 7:43Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, you want me to take
- 7:47Speaker 1: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're gonna
- 7:50Speaker 1: be in there for a few minutes and you're gonna
- 7:52Speaker 1: come out, and you want me to float it. He said, sir,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 7:58Speaker 1: the wrong company. He said, what made you call here?
- 8:00Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 8:02Speaker 1: limo come to you. Just dry. He stopped and took
- 8:05Speaker 1: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 8:07Speaker 1: you something. He said, I've been down before, I've been
- 8:11Speaker 1: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 8:14Speaker 1: wrong with you young people to day. Instead of going
- 8:16Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 8:18Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. He said, I'm gonna
- 8:20Speaker 1: tell you what I already know. Don't go down they're
- 8:22Speaker 1: messing with them people's money like that because they love
- 8:25Speaker 1: that money where more than they love you, and they're
- 8:27Speaker 1: gonna do something to you down now. Now, you stop
- 8:29Speaker 1: this foolishness. And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm
- 8:32Speaker 1: gonna take a little bit of time out to tell
- 8:34Speaker 1: you something. Don't go down here with messing with these
- 8:37Speaker 1: people's money, because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna
- 8:40Speaker 1: take care of their business where they come to that money.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Tommy kept insisting to this man to pick him up
- 8:45Speaker 1: in the limit. It was a playing phone call. But
- 8:47Speaker 1: the point I'm making is the man took out time.
- 8:49Speaker 1: He could just hung the phone up. But you know
- 8:51Speaker 1: what he's said, he's a hold up, young man. Let
- 8:54Speaker 1: me hip you to something. Because the brother had been
- 8:56Speaker 1: locked up before. He said, no, no, no no, I see
- 8:58Speaker 1: I've done that when I was young. Now I gonna
- 9:00Speaker 1: stop and I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 9:11Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 9:17Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 9:20Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 9:24Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 9:26Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They just not
- 9:30Speaker 1: having them and it's up to us, who know what
- 9:33Speaker 1: manhoo it is is, to start delivering the message. The
- 9:36Speaker 1: problem that we have in our communities. We could solve ourselves.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It didn't escalated to a point because we who are men,
- 9:43Speaker 1: won't stop on our corporate climb and our day to
- 9:46Speaker 1: day making money and trying to ball out. We won't
- 9:49Speaker 1: stop and grab some of these young soldiers and tell
- 9:51Speaker 1: them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 1: so I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to show, ladies and gentlemen, let me have
- 10:03Speaker 1: your attention. Please. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:06Speaker 1: the greatest morning show on planet Earth, bar none. We
- 10:10Speaker 1: have the facts to prove it. First off, just at
- 10:14Speaker 1: hell we said it, you know, yeah, like they said,
- 10:18Speaker 1: we said, you you who you want to believe? Now?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I think it's us that everybody else in live I
- 10:29Speaker 1: heard one morning show say they the funniest morning show.
- 10:32Speaker 1: That's a damn lie. That's not who you're running. What
- 10:38Speaker 1: you're not fitting to do is sit up here and
- 10:40Speaker 1: tell me that your morning show is funnier than this show,
- 10:44Speaker 1: because it's not. That's not. No. We have four four
- 10:53Speaker 1: stand up comedians on this show with no radio. Agree. Now,
- 10:58Speaker 1: somebody went and hide five or six of them to
- 11:01Speaker 1: go fill in to make that ain't worth We'd here
- 11:06Speaker 1: every day. Good morning, Shirley, Good morning Steve. Not fit
- 11:10Speaker 1: to do this with them, Carlin, for real? I know
- 11:14Speaker 1: that's right, Hey, Steve, what's up crew? Junior? Morning Uncle.
- 11:20Speaker 1: They run that back, certainly, not the people in the
- 11:24Speaker 1: note Nephew, Tommy, Yes, sir, in the building. They need
- 11:29Speaker 1: to get their facts straight, that's what they need to do. Yeah. Yeah, Man,
- 11:35Speaker 1: back from can Koo, had a great trip. Want to
- 11:39Speaker 1: thank everybody. Man. What a great crowd, Man, What a great,
- 11:43Speaker 1: great crowd. I just can't say it enough. Man, Marge
- 11:46Speaker 1: and I was sitting there going, wow, these people were
- 11:50Speaker 1: so cool to hang out with. I mean, it was
- 11:55Speaker 1: just amazing, man. So I wanted to say thank y'all again.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Many loyal people, man. And the staff, the entire Cancoon
- 12:08Speaker 1: Resort staff was amazing. Some of the nicest people I've
- 12:13Speaker 1: ever met, really nice people. How was the food, Joe good? Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you know, I was really pleasantly surprised at it because foodie,
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's my first question, Tommy. I ate at a buffet.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You don't never eat that buffet. Dog. I ate a
- 12:34Speaker 1: buffet six times. Oh the food was good, it was
- 12:39Speaker 1: real good man. And that lamb shake, I got that
- 12:46Speaker 1: lamb three times. That lamb shake, oh man, delicious. Yeah, alright, alright,
- 12:54Speaker 1: you play some golf, big dog. Uh yeah. Man shout
- 12:57Speaker 1: at eighty eight yesterday and foe lipouts. So it could
- 13:03Speaker 1: have been better, but I would have been better happy
- 13:05Speaker 1: with an eighty eight, trust me, extremely happy, extremely happy.
- 13:12Speaker 1: They're supposed to be eighties period. Yeah for me, my best.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I shot at eighty one, at eighty one one time,
- 13:23Speaker 1: but I parked seven holes in the room. I don't
- 13:28Speaker 1: know who he started school. I started high school in
- 13:31Speaker 1: eighty one. That's only eighty out of hand. It all right, guys,
- 13:36Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hour, we're gonna
- 13:38Speaker 1: do some asked Steve, and we'll talk about that right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this my favorite. You're listening, all right, guys, it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now to ask Steve and Steve as always,
- 13:50Speaker 1: please keep your answers short so we can get more questions.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Thank you so very much. Do the answers I want
- 13:56Speaker 1: to do. Why does that make you tell angry? Because
- 13:59Speaker 1: maybe some of these answers, Hey, who are you yelling at? Hey?
- 14:05Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Here's my first question. What's
- 14:09Speaker 1: your I got a bad feeling suddenly and bailed story
- 14:15Speaker 1: a night the department sto, excuse me one more time
- 14:20Speaker 1: to drive. You were gonna drive a getaway car, he
- 14:28Speaker 1: said it. Yeah, I ain't go though I bail. I'm saying,
- 14:37Speaker 1: show glad. I did cars all hail broke loose down
- 14:41Speaker 1: there that night. They got called, they got called in. Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 1: I know we're in here. They've got caught because out
- 14:48Speaker 1: of leftl Okay, yeah, okay, no to self. We can't
- 14:54Speaker 1: ask him that. Tell me you got a question for
- 14:59Speaker 1: Let me get one. You know it's not me, it's
- 15:02Speaker 1: not me. I just want you to help a friend
- 15:04Speaker 1: of man. Okay, asking for a friend. You in a
- 15:09Speaker 1: hotel with a woman. Your wife is outside parking lot
- 15:16Speaker 1: because she see your car. Right, what do you do?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Dive out the window when she goes in the building
- 15:26Speaker 1: and drive off in that car and say my car
- 15:30Speaker 1: was never there. Get your ass out that there's no
- 15:41Speaker 1: do you matter what? I don't give it? Nine, Well,
- 15:46Speaker 1: if it's hot and eight you got to stay in
- 15:49Speaker 1: there and try something melt anything. Seven on down. You
- 15:54Speaker 1: gotta get your ass out there. Thank you, sir, thank you.
- 16:02Speaker 1: All right, you know we just got back. He just
- 16:05Speaker 1: got back to that coop. What was the one thing
- 16:07Speaker 1: that somebody down and can't cool that got on your
- 16:11Speaker 1: last nerve? This dude with this notebook, a notebook, a
- 16:19Speaker 1: spiral nope book. You know, remember you know the little
- 16:24Speaker 1: note books that you had in school. Yeah, yeah, he
- 16:29Speaker 1: didn't bought that to can't cool to guilt to me
- 16:33Speaker 1: because the Lord told him I was gonna sign it
- 16:38Speaker 1: and then keep it. That's what the Lord told him.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So when I told him, I couldn't. So it was
- 16:47Speaker 1: some type of script of some type. So I said, bro,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I can't accept the script like that coming from a person.
- 16:53Speaker 1: You have to send it through proper channels because if
- 16:56Speaker 1: an idea turns up like that, I don't want you can't,
- 16:59Speaker 1: say Steve Harkt. So I can't except the Lord told
- 17:05Speaker 1: me you'd accept this. I said, well, listen, bro, I
- 17:09Speaker 1: once again let me tell you the procedure. So this
- 17:12Speaker 1: explain this to him about five times. I said, look,
- 17:15Speaker 1: my man, what part of this you do understand it?
- 17:17Speaker 1: So finally he said it to me for the sixth time.
- 17:20Speaker 1: He said, the Lord told me that you. I said, listen, man,
- 17:24Speaker 1: the problem you're having right now is the Lord didn't
- 17:27Speaker 1: tell it to me. This is where we had now
- 17:32Speaker 1: and I talked with him every morning. He never mentioned you.
- 17:37Speaker 1: So now, dog, I'm not taking board that dude talked
- 17:39Speaker 1: to me in hell you mean, I said, older man,
- 17:42Speaker 1: who you talk? It just went crazy. If that was
- 17:45Speaker 1: the thing I hated the most. He bought this three ring,
- 17:48Speaker 1: this ring, spiral ring notebook all the way to can't
- 17:51Speaker 1: can't come for me to sign it then, except wow,
- 17:56Speaker 1: so that I know you got it, So you got
- 17:58Speaker 1: to sign it, man, Please, all right, Carla, I'm doing
- 18:03Speaker 1: I walked on gay ever walking away, just walking off.
- 18:13Speaker 1: What's your question, Carla, Steve? What are some things that
- 18:17Speaker 1: are easier said than done. I ain't going over her
- 18:20Speaker 1: house no more. I don't want to see you no more. Okay,
- 18:25Speaker 1: just the last time. I'm cheating. I'm a quit cussing.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh I'm quit cheating though, thank god, normal cigars, okay, okay.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And I ain't telling no, I ain't telling normal lies
- 19:03Speaker 1: applies to you, okay, okay, all right, Steve, I have
- 19:08Speaker 1: a question before you here as warm, I'm gonna lose
- 19:11Speaker 1: twenty pounds. Oh yeah there, yeah, all right, So Steve,
- 19:19Speaker 1: what are some small yet distinguishable changes that a man
- 19:24Speaker 1: can make he can do to himself to make himself
- 19:27Speaker 1: more attractive. No, cut that damn hair out your ear.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Men should not have ear hair. Take those little things
- 19:37Speaker 1: that you buy. Wall makes some little things. Cut your
- 19:41Speaker 1: nose hair out. Okay, gray hair coming out your nose
- 19:47Speaker 1: is not attractive. Cut that off. Let somebody just clip
- 19:55Speaker 1: the ears on your eyebrows so you don't look like professor.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Oh hey, man, get a manicure once a month, every
- 20:11Speaker 1: six weeks some but do try at so good God,
- 20:17Speaker 1: for the love of God. Man, just put a lining
- 20:20Speaker 1: on your head or your beard. Just lyne it. It'll
- 20:22Speaker 1: look neater. Just line it's Those are little things that
- 20:27Speaker 1: a man could do. The dog cost no damn money. Okay,
- 20:31Speaker 1: all right, those are good? All right, thank you, Steve.
- 20:33Speaker 1: That concludes our segment, asked Steve, Steve's favorite segment coming
- 20:37Speaker 1: up next to nephew in the building, would run that
- 20:39Speaker 1: prank back? Coming up right after this, you're listening, coming
- 20:45Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour and entertainment News
- 20:48Speaker 1: Billy Porter, the Star of Pose, has been casted as
- 20:52Speaker 1: Cinderella's fairy godmother, and Mariah said she and Nick Cannon
- 20:56Speaker 1: will not remarry. We'll talk about that at the top

- 30:34Speaker 1: the ones who were hoping to see Mariah Carey and
- 30:37Speaker 1: Nick Cannon remarry one day, shouldn't hold their breath. Last month,
- 30:41Speaker 1: Nick revealed on his TIS podcast that Mariah was his
- 30:45Speaker 1: dream girl and said he probably wouldn't get married again,
- 30:48Speaker 1: but noted if I had to, I already know what
- 30:51Speaker 1: that's like. I would go back home first before I
- 30:54Speaker 1: had to do it again. Suggested he'd want to remarry Mariah,
- 30:58Speaker 1: but apparently Mariah doesn't actually feel the same way. When

- 31:04Speaker 1: Nick's comments, she replied, remarry. This is him making this up.
- 31:09Speaker 1: He's being silly. When asked whether she likes being single more,

- 31:17Speaker 1: do left though? Maybe she was watching something yeah really
- 31:28Speaker 1: for real? Wow? Yeah yeah, And they seem great at
- 31:38Speaker 1: co parenting, so maybe she just wants to leave it
- 31:41Speaker 1: right where it is. No, I didn't get that for
- 31:42Speaker 1: that statement. Sure that I've got that she don't want
- 31:44Speaker 1: to bury Nick. Yeah, that's what I mean. Leave it
- 31:49Speaker 1: right there where it is just as co parents period. Well,
- 31:53Speaker 1: so what I'll do is as far as making a
- 31:56Speaker 1: comment about this, and I want this to stick, I
- 31:59Speaker 1: will say that I won't have any comment to Nick Cannon.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But he even though he doesn't extend me the same courtesy, brother,
- 32:08Speaker 1: Oh wow, won't Okay? Okay, is there something we don't
- 32:14Speaker 1: Somebody need to know, somebode need to know, somebody need
- 32:21Speaker 1: to fix right down? Do we do? We need to
- 32:26Speaker 1: wildlight what we need to do? He only comment. But
- 32:30Speaker 1: see if you can't leave us hanging like that? Hello,

- 40:49Speaker 1: have this kind of job. You just fireing awesome and
- 40:53Speaker 1: arrest tale is that, yes, And it's usually black males
- 41:00Speaker 1: to get shot, black women get shot. That It speaks
- 41:04Speaker 1: exactly to what Tommy is saying. You are a coward
- 41:09Speaker 1: who has a uniform, a badge, and a gun. Your
- 41:14Speaker 1: police training has failed. You did not identify yourself as
- 41:20Speaker 1: a police officer. You did not give a person a
- 41:23Speaker 1: chance to show you their hands. You just shot and
- 41:27Speaker 1: killed an innocent woman. Amber Geiger was in Dallas and
- 41:32Speaker 1: now this police officer in fort Worth. But now listen
- 41:35Speaker 1: to this. This is the ninth police officer shooting in
- 41:41Speaker 1: Fort Worth this year and seven of them have been fatal.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Oh god, the ninth this year. So the Fort Worth
- 41:51Speaker 1: Police Department is just shooting people and we got to
- 41:57Speaker 1: wait on the jerry. We still don't know what's gonna happen.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Still got to wait and they'll probably be a year
- 42:03Speaker 1: from now. Yeah. Um, the police officer has been arrested.
- 42:07Speaker 1: But that's that's that's the police officer resigned first, but
- 42:12Speaker 1: then they went over there and arrested him. But the
- 42:14Speaker 1: family for that the family was on TV. Say he
- 42:19Speaker 1: killed an innocent person. Someone should be arrested. We know
- 42:23Speaker 1: who it is. Yeah, in her home and her second
- 42:28Speaker 1: one hold up, man. People go to schools and get
- 42:32Speaker 1: killed at the school, You go to the movies and
- 42:36Speaker 1: get killed, You go to church and get killed, You
- 42:40Speaker 1: get pulled over by the police. You can get killed. Naw,
- 42:44Speaker 1: you get killed in your house, in your own home.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Games and and and what is this with the police
- 42:54Speaker 1: not identifying themselves? Now, what is that about? I don't
- 42:58Speaker 1: get that part that police training one on one, So
- 43:02Speaker 1: it lets a person know when you identify yourself as
- 43:05Speaker 1: a police officer, whoever you, if you even if you're
- 43:08Speaker 1: a perpetrator of a crime, it causes you to pause
- 43:10Speaker 1: because you know, okay, there's an authoritative figure outside and
- 43:14Speaker 1: he has weapons. Yeah, so that gives you a chance
- 43:17Speaker 1: to give up. Oh I'm busted, Yeah exactly. But if
- 43:20Speaker 1: you don't make the hey, I'm a police officer. This
- 43:24Speaker 1: lady just playing video games, show me your hands. She
- 43:28Speaker 1: probably turned around with that one of that joy stick
- 43:31Speaker 1: or something in our hand. Pow. And and the trauma
- 43:35Speaker 1: that her eight year old nephew has to deal with,
- 43:38Speaker 1: and he was the one who told the family that
- 43:40Speaker 1: the police officer killed her. May Jesus Well, if you're
- 43:44Speaker 1: outraged yeah about this story as we are. Please post
- 43:48Speaker 1: your comments at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram or Facebook.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears here. The nephew
- 43:55Speaker 1: is in with today's prank phone call that I want
- 43:57Speaker 1: to do next, that's coming up right after this. You're
- 44:00Speaker 1: listening morning show coming up at the top of the hour,

- 47:32Speaker 1: And if you cool with him too, then okay you
- 47:34Speaker 1: can come. You know, I'm trying to have an NBA
- 47:36Speaker 1: playoff game. You're bringing the whole NBA with you. Oh
- 47:39Speaker 1: not at all. It ain't like that, man, man, I
- 47:42Speaker 1: mean place isn't that big. You know, my wife is

- 53:49Speaker 1: bug a lot. Hold on tight, we got it for you. Here.
- 53:52Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter, Thank you, nephew, subject she
- 53:55Speaker 1: needs to get her kids. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 53:58Speaker 1: fifty year old. It's three children, and I've been married
- 54:02Speaker 1: for fourteen years. All of the children are grown and
- 54:05Speaker 1: are on their own, so my husband and I have
- 54:09Speaker 1: the house to ourselves. I love my alone time with
- 54:12Speaker 1: my husband, but his sister is causing some big problems
- 54:15Speaker 1: in our marriage. His sister gets on my last nerve.
- 54:20Speaker 1: She is an unstable mother and she drops her kids
- 54:22Speaker 1: off at my house with no warning. I am tired
- 54:25Speaker 1: of dealing with her kids. One day recently, I was
- 54:29Speaker 1: walking into my living room and I saw her letting
- 54:32Speaker 1: her kids out of the car and she drove off.
- 54:35Speaker 1: My husband was at work, so I ended up keeping
- 54:37Speaker 1: the kids, which meant feeding them. I called my mother
- 54:41Speaker 1: in law and told her to come get the kids.
- 54:43Speaker 1: My mother in law is sick of the kids too.
- 54:46Speaker 1: There have been many times when she has asked me
- 54:49Speaker 1: to keep the kids for a few hours, then will
- 54:51Speaker 1: return at three am to pick them up. She just
- 54:54Speaker 1: sits in the driveway and blows her horn or shines
- 54:57Speaker 1: her light on bright through my front windows. She also
- 55:01Speaker 1: has my husband doing crazy stuff like changing her locks
- 55:05Speaker 1: at night because she broke up with a boyfriend and
- 55:07Speaker 1: didn't want him to be able to get into her house.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. She is thirty eight years old and the
- 55:14Speaker 1: family keeps enabling her. I am not going to keep
- 55:17Speaker 1: this up, and I told my husband that enough is enough.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I am at war with my husband over her because
- 55:23Speaker 1: it's his only sister. I hope and pray I'm not
- 55:26Speaker 1: being unreasonable by telling him to choose between me and
- 55:28Speaker 1: his sister. I got so angry over his sister and
- 55:31Speaker 1: her kids, and I told my husband to go move
- 55:33Speaker 1: in with her. I am not a daycare and I
- 55:36Speaker 1: want to set boundaries with this woman. How should I
- 55:38Speaker 1: handle this this? Well, you're you're up to a good
- 55:41Speaker 1: start with setting boundaries with her, with letting her know
- 55:44Speaker 1: that you're not a daycare, with getting angry with your husband.
- 55:49Speaker 1: You're you're right about the family enabling her. She's been
- 55:53Speaker 1: allowed to do this for so long she thinks that
- 55:56Speaker 1: it's okay to do this, and you're so right. I
- 55:58Speaker 1: mean everything you're saying, you're sister, your law is dead
- 56:00Speaker 1: wrong and because of it, her children, herselves, they're suffering
- 56:06Speaker 1: because of this, going from house to house, your house
- 56:08Speaker 1: to the grandmother's house, and no telling who else. You
- 56:11Speaker 1: know that she does this too, just dropping them off
- 56:14Speaker 1: at random houses with random people. This is ridiculous. I mean,
- 56:18Speaker 1: she's rude, she's entitled. She needs to be checked. So
- 56:21Speaker 1: you're definitely on the right path. You need to learn
- 56:24Speaker 1: to say no. That's what happens when you set boundaries.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You gotta tell her no, all right, even if she
- 56:30Speaker 1: does drop the kids off, give right back in your
- 56:33Speaker 1: car and you know, follow her or drop them off
- 56:38Speaker 1: at her house, whatever. But you don't want this responsibility.
- 56:41Speaker 1: And it's not the kid's fault. I'm sure you know.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I feel so sorry for these children and badly for
- 56:46Speaker 1: the kids because if she is unstable like you say
- 56:51Speaker 1: she is, and she sounds like it, that they have to,
- 56:53Speaker 1: you know, have a mother like this. This is terrible.
- 56:56Speaker 1: But again you're gonna have to to learn how to
- 56:58Speaker 1: say no and mean it. And one of the thing
- 57:01Speaker 1: your husband is going to have to get on board
- 57:05Speaker 1: and support you, not her. You or his wife. She's
- 57:08Speaker 1: not his wife. Those are not his kids, they're your relatives.
- 57:12Speaker 1: But she needs to deal with her own responsibilities. Steve,
- 57:16Speaker 1: you know, I was trying to find the humor in
- 57:19Speaker 1: this letter, but I couldn't, Yeah, because I know trifling
- 57:25Speaker 1: asks people and this. You've been married to your man
- 57:29Speaker 1: fourteen years. Y'all got three children, and all the children
- 57:34Speaker 1: have grown so they out on their own. Y'all got
- 57:37Speaker 1: the house to yourself. So you thought you love your
- 57:41Speaker 1: lone time with your husband, but you ain't got it
- 57:44Speaker 1: no more. But his damned sister thirty eight years old,
- 57:49Speaker 1: unstable mother. She dropped Now, you didn't say how many kids?
- 57:53Speaker 1: Did she say how many kids? She just says kids.
- 57:57Speaker 1: But the woman writing the letter has three children of
- 58:00Speaker 1: her own, so we know at least two of these
- 58:03Speaker 1: kids is getting dropped off. She drops her kids off
- 58:07Speaker 1: at my house with no warning. No, I'm tired of
- 58:13Speaker 1: dealing with her kids. Well, you're really tired of dealing
- 58:17Speaker 1: with the kids like this way. You know, one day
- 58:21Speaker 1: recently you walked into your living room and you saw
- 58:23Speaker 1: her letting her kids out the car, and she drove
- 58:26Speaker 1: off your husband at work. Hitty damn kids. Come now.
- 58:30Speaker 1: I feel sorry for the kids, like surely say, because
- 58:33Speaker 1: they got to walk up on the hard on the
- 58:34Speaker 1: porch and they know this health a post at least
- 58:37Speaker 1: knock on the door, tell them we're coming. But the
- 58:41Speaker 1: kids got to go in the house. They don't know
- 58:43Speaker 1: what else to do. I don't know what to tell you, man,
- 58:47Speaker 1: There is no humor in this letter, So let me
- 58:49Speaker 1: just quit trying to look forward. This thing that got
- 58:52Speaker 1: on your lad's nerve. And I ain't mad at you.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So your husband's at work, she drops them off. You
- 58:57Speaker 1: ended up keeping the kids now you got to feed
- 59:00Speaker 1: them because you're decent person. Then you called your mother
- 59:04Speaker 1: in law and you told her to come get the kids.
- 59:06Speaker 1: The mother laws sick of the kids too, damn ye. Now,
- 59:10Speaker 1: I feel really bad for these kids because they get
- 59:13Speaker 1: shoveled off from house to house and they knowing. Everybody
- 59:17Speaker 1: mad when they see them. But the kids ain't doing nothing.
- 59:20Speaker 1: They just to result of having a trifling mama. And
- 59:24Speaker 1: I feel bad for these kids. Man, listen, Dad, what dad?
- 59:32Speaker 1: She never mentioned that now she she got a boyfriend
- 59:37Speaker 1: that you know, the husband had to change the locks
- 59:40Speaker 1: at her house, yill, because her boyfriend and the hood
- 59:43Speaker 1: was breaking up. You gotta change locks because he coming in.
- 59:49Speaker 1: That's been many times when she asked she has asked
- 59:52Speaker 1: me to keep the kids for a few hours and
- 59:55Speaker 1: then we'll return at three am to pick them up.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Who wakes the babies up in the middle the damn night? Right?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: She trifling on a whole lot of levels. I think
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I got something that for you. I guess. All right, Well,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: hold on, hold on for part two, Steve. We'll have
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's subject she needs to get her kids.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Let's go. Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject she needs
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: to get her kids. Lady fifty years old, got three kids,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: they grown, they moved out the house. Her and her
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: husband got the house all today's self. She loves her
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: lone time with her man. She only got one problem,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: her man's system. Unstable. Mother drops the kids off without
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: any warning, just drops them off. She tired of this
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: one day she was walking in the living room and
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: saw her pull up and just let the kids out
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: and then drove off. ID Now you gotta be kind
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: to the kids, because it ain't the kids fault. But
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: now you gotta take care them. You gotta feed them.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: You just gonna sit down and just watch the TV
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: with your feet them. Now you're feeding kids. Then you
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: can't count the time she come by and tell you
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: watch your kids for a few hours and then return
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: at three am in the morning and pick them up.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Now hit the tripling part. This is how tripling this
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: health is. She comes and just sits in the driveway
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and blows her horn or shines her lights on bright
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: through my front windows. Boy, crazy boy, if that ain't ignorant,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: you tell me. But if you want to really keep
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: your funking, here we go. I got something for you
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: at the end. Though, she also has my husband doing
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: crazy stuff like changing her locks at night because she
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: broke up with her boyfriend didn't want him be able
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to get into her house. Stephen Shellley, She's thirty eight
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: years old. The family keeps enabling her. I ain't gonna
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: keep up with this. I told my husband that enough
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: is enough. I'm at war with my husband over her
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: because it's his only sister. I understand that. I hope
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: and pray I'm not being unreasonable. You're not by telling
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: them to choose between me and his sister. Okay, that NA,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: that went a little far, but I understand because you're mad.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I got so angry over his sister and her kids
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: that I told my husband to go move in with him. Well,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: since he liked taking care of the kids so much,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: you know, I think it's a good idea. Since he
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: likes taking care to kids that much, then it's a
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: good idea that he just moves on end with him.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: That's what I think. But I told my husband, and
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I'm not at daycare and I want to set boundaries
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: for this woman. How sit our handlers? Well, I didn't
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: read this latter biness nice. Here's the only solution. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: every you tell her this word has to happen. Every
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: time she dropped them kids off on your ass, you
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: are to go by her house and get on her ass.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: What does that mean? If she dropped the kids off
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: on your ass, you ought to go over there and
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: be on her. What you got whoop o ass one time?
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Bottom line? Yeah? I think she really just got to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: whoop o ass one time. I think we down to that.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: She trifling. Some people need a good slapp it and
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: sit her down and tell her, you know what, you
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: are really abusive to your children and you are to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: be ashamed of yourself, and you really these kids deserve better.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: You put them in uncompromising positions, passing them off like
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: they potato chips. These kids know that they're being drug
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: around and passed off. They know their mama on stage
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and ain't nobody told you? But you are trifling ass, mama,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: and you need to get your sugar hunted iced tea
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: together for I slapped the sugar hunted iced tea. Good Paul,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Good pat I think that's what has to happen, because
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: if the families in there, he's a nable because it's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: his only sister, so he trying to help out. It's
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: his baby sister. I know that parameter has got to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: be pulling on it. Yea. The mother is already sick.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Come so y'all got to do something, man, y'all case
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: can't keep doing it like this, right to whooping her
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: hands and all. I see that's all that I mean. Really,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I just don't man, this ain't about no therapy or nothing.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: She needs somebody to get her undivided damn attention, and
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: nothing gets your attention like I as got immediate one
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I have gotten from my mama from some dudes, every
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: last one of them. Yeah, that's what I think you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: should do. And just remind her every time you dropped
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: him off on my ass, I'm gonna be back over
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: here on your ass. Yeah. So what we're doing around
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: we exchanging asses? What about we exchange an ass? But
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the whole I thought she brings the kids unannounced. So
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: the husband he like, wow, he called off. God too
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: late too, And you got the call before you bring
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: these kids over an ass to make sure we ain't
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: got nothing to do. I'm sorry, I just be thinking.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: And then she do it again. She did all you
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: had already said. She just pull up and let them
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: out and drive off. This chick knows she trifles, and
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: she doing it on purpose. It's I don't know, it's
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: a lot to do because dude, she dropped the wrong wine.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: He was at work. Yeah, oh you you shouldn't have
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: been in the window. She saw you shut your doors,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: pull your blash down, act like you. All right, Well, listen,

- 1:07:28Speaker 1: and her best friend Tasha Saint Patrick killed her. WHOA, yes, No,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: that that's what Tommy thinks. Tommy thinks that ghosts killed
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: because Tommy killed Angela, so he thinks that. Tommy thinks that.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: But it was so hard to watch Tommy fall to
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: his knees to see his girl Keisha gone and he
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: was about to propose and everything. Yeah, and her bff,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Tasha Saint Patrick killed her. It was so hard to
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: watch Tommy fall to his knees. Kesha is gone. Na,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: this girl is gone, Yes, Junior, Nah, she's gone. Tommy
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: was just about to propose to her. It was Oh,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: it was just they have lived longer than most dope deals.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Though they you know what I'm saying, They lived a
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: long time. I mean they spaw a lot of money.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: They did see a lot, you know, if you really
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: end like that, dude, that yeah, they were moving that,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: moving stuff around. But just like you said, Junior, you
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: were wondering, did ghosts kill Keisha? And that's what Tommy thinks.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Tommy thinks that. But anyway, La La, this is how
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: everybody's finding out. Spoiler alert. I'm sorry if you haven't
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: seen the show, but La La took to Instagram. She
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: told everybody this was hard to watch. I want to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: thank fifty cent Courtney Kemp. You know she is one
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: of the EPs on the show for giving me a
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: chance to bring Lakeisha Grant to life. I'm forever grateful
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: to the two of them for believing in me. And
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: she also shouted out her girl Natri, you know who
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: plays who plays Tasha, and you're an amazing talent, amazing friend.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: She shouted out to Joseph Szakora, who plays Tommy, thank
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: you for the every day of the work we did.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Some people were shocked when La La put it out
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: there like that on social media because some people were
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: posting spoiler La, we have not seen the show, so
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: that final scene it was a lot. But if you
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: kill me, you're gonna be left out the thank you.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I'm not putting you in my thank you. Oh social Media,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: you should shout me in front of everybody. You're not
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: getting to thank you. Hellod all right, thank you, Kyla.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: talk about a topic for the Fellas. Okay, get ready
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: for it. Okay, that's coming up at the top right
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. Tuesday's topic is for
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: the Fellas and in Florida Air Force Tech Sergeant Kenneth
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Cook recently broke the world record for an unassisted or
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: raw bench press all right. He lifted a staggering five
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: hundred and fifty one pounds. The previous world record was
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: five hundred and thirty four pounds. Do you know how
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: much you can bench? Right now? Fellas? Steve, you you
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: list a lot of weights on. Know, Tommy you're a runner,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and Kire you edge about eighty six pounds. Oh, a
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: few more pounds to catch up, No problem, I'm just
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: saying comfortably the most transfu you go to the the bar.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: I'm good with the bar. But you know the bar
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: that you put the weights on. Just about forty five
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: pounds right there, but probably about one eighty five I
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: think about one five. That's how much you can bench brow. Yeah,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: that's not a lot. Blames the guns were you're telling
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: that's not a lot? Up? No, that's good though. What's
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: more than eighty that Steves can bench press? Food? You
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: hold on you seeing Steve? Yeah, he's strong up about
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I'm strong. I hadn't seen it, I know I can
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: do about two sixty five right now at six, I
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: can pick up some weight. Man that I can't sure.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I ain't my I'm messed up. I can't he go
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: so so so if I wasn't hurt Shirley about two
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: twenty five, two twenty five, you just didn't give it
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the time. I said. You know, you all said you
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: could beat me running too challenge. You said you're gonna
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: beat you said you could jump up with Steve the
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: last time, bitch pressed man, I'm probably what's the most
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: you've ever done? About two? Like I'm shooting your thirties.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: You was rock strong. I didn't lift that much weight,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: but I think my max about two forty five. The
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: fight strength is pulling, not pushing. Now, my back strength
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: what I could pull on a dog. I go to
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: walk with that. I can do the whole stack with
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the dumbells with photo. Yeah, I seen you with a
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: bunch of dumb I got curl sixties, you know, not
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: that warm up. I could curl sixties. You know. I
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: could probably do mob but that's all I do sometimes,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: you know, but that's that's not regular. I could just
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: do it. You don't have to curl that much. Weight
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: that don't really accomplish nothing, not for what I'm trying
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to do. All I know is Junior in Cancoon had
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: on a sleeveless shirt and sons o guns. That's what
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: he said. That's exactly what he said. My poor strength
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: is much greater than my push strength, much greater. If
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I sit down and do a back row. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: now I could snatch some weight. Now, dog, how much
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: snatching a bunch? I like as much as this guy
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: five hundred and fifty one. That ain't about it doing that.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I don't know if I get on the five hundred
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: or something, you better get here about it from behinf
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: you need to move. Yeah, but what's the I'm gonna
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: see so many spotters. He just showing out, what's the
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: one pound for? You have five fifty? Just do five?
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Come out and little weight on the end two a
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: half And he said, what was that? Well, he was
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: trying to beat the record. The record was five thirty four,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: five fifty. It's greater than five thirty four. Oh that's
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: a lot of weight, man, I don't know how you
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: do that. Man. All right, all right, we're gonna move on.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Coming up, more music, more fun on the Steve Harvey

- 1:17:57Speaker 1: I'm just being realistic. Let's take race out of this
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: for a second. Cory Booker is polling at four percent,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is polling at four percent. The rest of
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: them is at two percent. Two percent, man, Biden, and
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: it's Elizabeth warn that's got twenty two percent. Everybody else
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: got twos and folds. Now, let's quit playing this game. Now,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: this is serious, Yeah, it is. I mean you're absolutely right, Steve.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: It is seriously, and listen to me, man. And they
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: and the Republicans are playing on that, and they're trying
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: to damage Biden because they know Biden is the one
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: that can hurt them exactly. And even Donald Trump knows that,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: he knows that, he knows that Joe Biden will talk
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: back crazy to him at the debates, will be he
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: can lace, he can really lace. Yes, he hasn't really
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: been doing it though, but yeah, Joe Biden, of course, yeah,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: he started just most recently. Yeah, I want him to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: do more though, Senator Corey Booker, Mayor Pete Buddha, Judge,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: the Housing Secretary, Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, amylochar Rooric Elizabeth Warren,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer. Debate is eight o'clock Eastern
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: on CNN. All right, coming up our last break of
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the day, and of course some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey that's coming up at forty
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour. Right after this you're listening to.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are last break of the day,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: and of course it is time for you to leave
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: us with some closing remarks. I want to give you
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: some encouragement on your role to success. I've often said
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: a million times that the role to sess is always
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: under construction, that you can expect the pitfalls, to set backs,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: the detools, the working men at work, so forth, and
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: so on. Well, what I want to remind you of
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: is that you can win if you can fight through
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the clutter, and one of the best ways that I
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: can give you to fight through the clutter, you have
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: to have a relationship with God. I mean, it's just
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: really the best way to fight through the clutter because
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: you really don't know how exactly to become successful. You
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: really don't know exactly how, I mean. And the reason
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I know you don't know exactly how it is because
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: you've probably aimed for something that in order to achieve
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: it you really do need God's help. So it's nothing
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: wrong when you don't know exactly how you're going to
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: make it, because what that means is you've aspired to
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: something so great that in order for it to happen,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: you absolutely have to have God's help. That's where you
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: want to be. You want to be on a mission
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: that keeps you awake at night. You want to be
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: on a mission man that makes you wake up early.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: You want to be on a mission that requires you
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: to pray constantly. You want to be on a mission
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: man where you seek the advice and help of other
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: people that's in a higher position. You want to be
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: on a mission where not achieving it becomes absolutely unacceptable.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: But to get there, you gotta fight through the clutter,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: And the biggest form of clutter in your mind is
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: the actual figuring it out. Can you remember back on
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: how many times you've tried to figure something out your life?
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Your next move, who to call, who to talk to,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: whether to try to sell them, how to sell them,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: what to buy, how to buy? If you go back
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: over all your life of you figuring out my next move?
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: Should I go to school? Should I not go to school?
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Should I get a degree in this? Should I not
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: get a degree in this? Should I apply for that job?
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: But this job? Should I go over here because they
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: pay a little bit more, but just't has better stability?
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: I don't know, but you've constantly been trying to work
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: that out. That's exhausting and it keeps your mind cluttered.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I was reading in my daily meditation, how when you
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: clutter your mind up with the how to you remove
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: God's presence in your life? Because He's always hovering and
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: standing close by to come in and comfort you and
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: be beside you and help you make these decisions. But
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: if you never invite him in, if you never invite
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: him to make the decisions, if you never allow his
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: presence to come and calm you down, man, sometimes you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: just need calm me. You know, when you could deal
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: with a lot of this stuff that you're going through
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: a lot better if you will had just a calming effect.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: The calming effect, that's the peace you get when you
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: form a relationship with God. God calms you down because
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you know he got your back, you know he's in control.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: He know he got your best interests at heart, you
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: know that he's behind the scenes working on your behalf.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: When you have that type of relationship, it cools you out.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: You can chill. You can't do anything about tomorrow, so
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: worrying about it doesn't affect it. Now. I'm not saying
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: and sitting here that you're not supposed to plan, that
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: you're not supposed to have dreams and aspirations, because you do.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: But in all my dreams of aspirations, all the things
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I want, I've had to learn to be flexible because
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: what I want and what God hassled me is oftentimes
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: two different things. But can I share something with you,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: thing that God has for you? It's way better than
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: anything anything you could possibly play. You can't figure it
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: the way he does. His thoughts is way up there, man,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: His ways is way up there. You can't outfigure God.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: God can take a very very dismal situation, folks, and
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: turn it into pure gold for you when they are
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: lining themselves against you. If God is with you, who
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: can be against you? So let them line up. If
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: you know you got a relationship with God, and you
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: know you're not over there by yourself, why would you
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: be afraid of someone lining up against you? Let them
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: line up. You're talking to somebody who knows it's all
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: too well. They have lined up against me in numbers,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: but guess what, they can't do nothing to me. God
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: don't lie, And even if you do do it, it
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: doesn't mean it has the effect of the desired effect
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: on me that you wanted to. And so that's the
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: same thing with you. Because of this relationship with God,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: you don't have to be in and react to every
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: time somebody don't like a picture or make a bad
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: comment or put a false falsehood out there about you.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: You don't have to react to all of that because
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you have peace in the relationship with God. You got
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: to form this relationship, y'all. You have to. It's imperative
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: to who you are. And the thing about forming relationship
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you don't have to clear with nobody. But you ain't
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: got to even tell nobody you're doing it. You can
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: show them a different you. You don't have to make
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: an admission. I'm talking to God every day, trying to
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: become a better person. You ain't gonna tell nobody that.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Just do it. Just do it. That's all you've got
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: to do. All right, those are my closing remarks. All right,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: drop it, it's drop thank you sir? Yeah. Oh, can
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I tell y'all something really good? Have yourself a great
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: WEEKI I'll be dog on it's time to say that already.
