Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Stubborn, old, senile, and angry. Those are the words that
- 0:04Speaker 1: I can use to describe Joe Biden in his ABC
- 0:08Speaker 1: News exclusive one on one interview that he did with
- 0:12Speaker 1: George Stepanopolis, a democratic operative that was going easy on
- 0:16Speaker 1: the president, and even with George Stepanopolis going easy on him,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Joe Biden fell apart in this interview. As the Afghanistan
- 0:24Speaker 1: crisis has worsened, How bad is it? Mothers and fathers
- 0:28Speaker 1: are now handing their children over bob ware fences at
- 0:31Speaker 1: the airport, trying to at least give their kids a
- 0:34Speaker 1: chance at life because they know that they are more
- 0:37Speaker 1: than likely going to die. And if you want to
- 0:40Speaker 1: know what's happening in Afghanistan right now, it's a money grab.
- 0:45Speaker 1: The Taliban are now in control of one trillion dollars
- 0:49Speaker 1: worth of minerals that the world desperately wants and needs.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Insert China and Russia. This swift fall of Afghanistan, we're
- 0:57Speaker 1: now being told, was undermined by Possibly and Russia, which
- 1:03Speaker 1: has triggered this humanitarian crisis. Those two countries already working
- 1:08Speaker 1: deals to get into Afghanistan's vastly untapped mineral wealth. They
- 1:15Speaker 1: say it could transform the economic prospects of the Taliban
- 1:19Speaker 1: to be able to not only just have money, but
- 1:21Speaker 1: money that they've never even imagined to then use towards terrorism. Afghanistan,
- 1:26Speaker 1: as you know, is one of the poorest nations in
- 1:28Speaker 1: the world, but in twenty ten, US military and geologists
- 1:32Speaker 1: revealed that the country, which lies at the crossroads of
- 1:34Speaker 1: Central and South Asia, was sending on a mineral deposits
- 1:37Speaker 1: worth nearly a trillion dollars. What minerals are they and
- 1:41Speaker 1: why are they so important to Russia and China? And
- 1:43Speaker 1: that's why their embassies are wide open and they're working
- 1:46Speaker 1: these deals. Supplies of minerals such as iron, copper, and
- 1:51Speaker 1: gold are scattered across provinces. They are also rare earth minerals,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and perhaps most importantly, that could be one of the
- 1:59Speaker 1: world's biggest deposits of lithium. That's why China is sitting
- 2:06Speaker 1: there begging to do a deal. Lithium is an essential
- 2:10Speaker 1: but scarce component in rechargeable batteries that China desperately needs,
- 2:14Speaker 1: as well as other technologies vital to tackling what some
- 2:17Speaker 1: refer to as the climate crisis. Afghanistan is certainly one
- 2:21Speaker 1: of the richest regions and traditional precious metals, but also
- 2:25Speaker 1: the metals needed for the emerging economy of the twenty
- 2:28Speaker 1: first century. And that's why China is stepping in as
- 2:32Speaker 1: America leaves. Security challenges may not be an issue if
- 2:36Speaker 1: all the money is going to the Taliban, something we
- 2:38Speaker 1: were not going to guarantee, which is part of the
- 2:41Speaker 1: reason why these minerals went untapped over the last twenty years.
- 2:45Speaker 1: A lack of infrastructure not a problem. China says they'll
- 2:48Speaker 1: build it. Severe droughts not a problem. China says they'll
- 2:51Speaker 1: do whatever it takes, and they will do the deal
- 2:55Speaker 1: with the Taliban, not with the Afghanistan government which has
- 2:58Speaker 1: now fallen. This will all change sooner than later, we're
- 3:03Speaker 1: being told under Taliban control because they realize how much
- 3:06Speaker 1: money they can get their hands on. That is exactly
- 3:09Speaker 1: why they've been meeting apparently around the clock with China,
- 3:11Speaker 1: as what was even Pakistan and India, which may engage
- 3:16Speaker 1: despite the chaos because the money is just so big.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So now you understand the politics of what is happening
- 3:23Speaker 1: on the ground there now. Joe Biden has been busted lying.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I don't think anyone cares at least in the media
- 3:30Speaker 1: because Biden boldfaced lied to George Stepanopolis in this interview
- 3:34Speaker 1: saying that quote, military advisors did not warn him against withdrawing,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and he said, no, no one, No one said to
- 3:42Speaker 1: me that I can quote recall that we shouldn't withdraw
- 3:46Speaker 1: this way. When he was asked about the people falling
- 3:49Speaker 1: from the planes, he said that was four or five
- 3:51Speaker 1: days ago, acting like, what difference does it make to
- 3:53Speaker 1: quote Hillary Clinton? Who cares? That's old news? That was
- 3:56Speaker 1: days ago, days ago. It was actually two days ago
- 4:01Speaker 1: when he was asked the question, but who's counting, right?
- 4:04Speaker 1: And for all the woke feminists that voted for Joe
- 4:07Speaker 1: Biden right because he was gonna stand up for women's
- 4:09Speaker 1: rights in equal pay and LGBTQ and all that. Well,
- 4:14Speaker 1: he was asked about the women who are now going
- 4:16Speaker 1: to be executed, who are going to be put into
- 4:17Speaker 1: sex slavery, who are going to not be allowed to
- 4:19Speaker 1: walk around the streets, who are going to be not
- 4:22Speaker 1: allowed to go to school. He was asked about that
- 4:25Speaker 1: and what happened in Afghanistan. Here's his response to ABC
- 4:28Speaker 1: News and Americans, what do we owe the Afghans who
- 4:31Speaker 1: are left behind? Particularly Afghan women who are facing the
- 4:34Speaker 1: prospect of subjugation. Again, as many as we can get out,
- 4:38Speaker 1: we should. For example, I had a meeting today for
- 4:41Speaker 1: a couple hours in the situation room just below here.
- 4:43Speaker 1: There are Afghan women outside the gate. I told him,
- 4:46Speaker 1: get him on the planes, get them out, get them out,
- 4:49Speaker 1: get their families out if you can. But here's the
- 4:51Speaker 1: deal with George. The idea that we're able to deal
- 4:56Speaker 1: with the rights of women around the world by military
- 4:59Speaker 1: force is not rational. Not rational. Look what's happened to
- 5:04Speaker 1: the Wagers and Western China. Look what's happening in other
- 5:07Speaker 1: parts of the world. Look what's happening in the Congo.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I mean, there are a lot of places where women
- 5:13Speaker 1: are being subjugated. The way to deal with that is
- 5:16Speaker 1: not with the military invasion. The way to do with
- 5:18Speaker 1: that is putting economic, diplomatic, and international pressure on them
- 5:22Speaker 1: to change their behavior. Translation, America now doesn't care. America
- 5:27Speaker 1: is weak. Let them on the planes. The problem is
- 5:30Speaker 1: they're not letting them through the gates. The problem is
- 5:32Speaker 1: that Taliban is beating people going the airport. The problem
- 5:34Speaker 1: is people are being kidnapped going to the airport. Hell,
- 5:37Speaker 1: even CNN's own reporters are being attacked by the ends
- 5:40Speaker 1: of ak forty seven gun butts as they're walking down
- 5:44Speaker 1: the street. People are begging to get out of the country.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Taliban are killing women for not wearing burkers on the
- 5:48Speaker 1: same day they vowed to honor women's rights. Go look
- 5:51Speaker 1: at the New York Post today they put the picture
- 5:54Speaker 1: up the Taliban has killed a woman for not wearing
- 5:56Speaker 1: a burker on the same day they vowed women's rights.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And this present says, well, we're just going to punt
- 6:01Speaker 1: to the international community and we'll figure it out that way.
- 6:05Speaker 1: They shot and killed a woman for not wearing a
- 6:07Speaker 1: burker in Afghanistan. The same day they pledged that we
- 6:11Speaker 1: are a new inclusive air of the Taliban and we
- 6:13Speaker 1: honor the women's rights. This photo emerged of the woman
- 6:16Speaker 1: in Takhar Province lying in a pool of blood, loved
- 6:19Speaker 1: ones crouched around her after she was killed by insurgents
- 6:22Speaker 1: for being in public without a head scarf. This is
- 6:24Speaker 1: the Taliban. We're also being told there's not enough headscarves
- 6:28Speaker 1: for women. And if you look at the satellite pictures
- 6:31Speaker 1: that are coming out and the pictures that are coming
- 6:33Speaker 1: out of Afghanistan and Kandahar. Right now, you can't find
- 6:35Speaker 1: women on the street anywhere. They're all now stuck in
- 6:38Speaker 1: their homes. Many of them, by the way, are widowed
- 6:40Speaker 1: because their husbands died fighting in Afghanistan. So how do
- 6:44Speaker 1: they get to the store, Because you're supposed to be
- 6:46Speaker 1: walked around by a family member, and if you don't,
- 6:48Speaker 1: they'll beat the hell out of you or kill your
- 6:49Speaker 1: shoot you in the face. But don't worry. Joe Biden's
- 6:52Speaker 1: gliding telling you military advisors warned him against withdrawing, saying no, no,
- 6:56Speaker 1: no one said that to me. They're all saying that's
- 6:58Speaker 1: a lie. They're all saying that is a lie. I mean,
- 7:02Speaker 1: even George Stepanopolis wasn't believing what Joe Biden was selling him.
- 7:07Speaker 1: In this interview, he pressed him on whether the US
- 7:10Speaker 1: exit from Afghanistan could have been handled better, and Joe
- 7:15Speaker 1: Biden got irritated, and what he described is basically, there
- 7:19Speaker 1: was no way for this not to be total chaos.
- 7:21Speaker 1: There was no way to plan for people to get
- 7:22Speaker 1: out of Afghanistan. There was no way for us to
- 7:24Speaker 1: do a better job, which the entire world knows is
- 7:27Speaker 1: total insanity. Yet he said it with a straight angry face.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Take a listen, look at what's happened over the last week.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Was it a failure of intelligence, planning, execution or judgment. Look,
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't think it was a Look it was a
- 7:40Speaker 1: simple choice, George, when the Taliban. Let me back put
- 7:46Speaker 1: it another way, when you had the government of Afghanistan,
- 7:52Speaker 1: the leader of that government, getting into a plane and
- 7:54Speaker 1: taking off and going another country. When you saw the
- 7:58Speaker 1: significant collapse of the of the Afghan troops, we had trained,
- 8:04Speaker 1: up to three hundred thousand of them, just leaving their
- 8:06Speaker 1: equipment and taking off, that was you know, I'm not
- 8:11Speaker 1: that's what happened. That's simply what happened. But we've all
- 8:15Speaker 1: seen the pictures. We've seen those hundreds of people packed
- 8:17Speaker 1: into a C seventeen. We've seen Afghans fall. That was
- 8:21Speaker 1: four days ago, five days ago. Who did you think
- 8:24Speaker 1: when you first saw those pictures? What I thought was,
- 8:26Speaker 1: we have to gain control of this. We have to
- 8:29Speaker 1: move this more quickly. We have to move in a
- 8:32Speaker 1: way in which we can take control of that airport,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and we did so. You don't think this could have
- 8:37Speaker 1: been handled this sex? It could have been handled better
- 8:40Speaker 1: in any way, no mistakes. No, I don't think it
- 8:43Speaker 1: could have been handled in a way that we're going
- 8:47Speaker 1: to go back in hindsight and look. But the idea
- 8:50Speaker 1: that somehow there's a way to have gotten out without
- 8:53Speaker 1: chaos ensuing, I don't know how that happens. I don't
- 8:57Speaker 1: know how that happened. So for you, that was always
- 8:59Speaker 1: priced into the decision. Yes, he's not just defiant, he's
- 9:07Speaker 1: angry in his defiance. Which is delusional to say that
- 9:10Speaker 1: we couldn't have done any better than we could have
- 9:12Speaker 1: done when everybody was telling him to do it differently,
- 9:14Speaker 1: when everybody in the military is saying we could do
- 9:16Speaker 1: a better job. I mean, the Pentagon right now is saying, oh, well,
- 9:19Speaker 1: we're working to fill every seat on each plane. No,
- 9:21Speaker 1: you're not. If you were, you would be telling the
- 9:25Speaker 1: Taliban we're gonna blow you up if you don't give
- 9:28Speaker 1: our people a safe passage to the airport, which is
- 9:30Speaker 1: not what you're saying and are doing right now. You know,
- 9:35Speaker 1: Joe Biden even said it's quote not true that my
- 9:38Speaker 1: military advisors warned me against withdrawing. Even ABC News, Good
- 9:43Speaker 1: Morning America, George Stepanopolis couldn't spend this for this deranged
- 9:47Speaker 1: president of United States America that clearly cannot handle his
- 9:50Speaker 1: job and his duties right now. Even when they introduced
- 9:55Speaker 1: the segment, they basically knew that he had cooked his
- 9:58Speaker 1: own goose, that it was too far gone almost to
- 10:03Speaker 1: try to even explain his decisions away because it was
- 10:09Speaker 1: so out of touch with reality. It's the US troop
- 10:11Speaker 1: withdrawal from Afghanistan, and George, we know you pressed the
- 10:14Speaker 1: president on the aftermath of that withdrawal, those frantic scenes
- 10:17Speaker 1: at the Kabble Airport, thousands of Americans and Afghans desperate
- 10:21Speaker 1: to escape as the Taliban tightens its grip. That's right, Amy,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and the President promised for the first time that the
- 10:26Speaker 1: US military would stay as long as it takes to
- 10:28Speaker 1: get all Americans out. He was also defiant, assisting we
- 10:31Speaker 1: had to get out now, admitting no mistakes. Back in July,
- 10:35Speaker 1: you said a Taliban takeover was highly unlikely. Was the
- 10:38Speaker 1: intelligence wrong or did you downplay it? There was no consensus.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You go back and look at the intelligence reports, they
- 10:44Speaker 1: said that it's more likely to be sometime by the
- 10:47Speaker 1: end of the year. You didn't put a timeline out
- 10:49Speaker 1: when you said it was highly unlike you just said
- 10:51Speaker 1: flat out as highly unlikely the Taliban would take over. Yeah, well,
- 10:54Speaker 1: the question was whether or not the idea that the
- 10:58Speaker 1: Taliban would take over premised on the notion that somehow
- 11:04Speaker 1: the three hundred thousand troops we had trained and equipped
- 11:07Speaker 1: was going to just collapse. They We're going to give up.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I don't think anybody anticipated that. Senator mcconagall said it
- 11:12Speaker 1: was predictable the Taliban was going to take over. Well
- 11:15Speaker 1: by the end of the year, it said that that
- 11:17Speaker 1: was the real possibility, but no one said it was
- 11:19Speaker 1: going to take over then when it was being asked,
- 11:21Speaker 1: when you look at what's happened over the last week,
- 11:23Speaker 1: was it a failure of intelligence, planning, execution or judgment. Look,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I don't think it was a Look it was a
- 11:31Speaker 1: simple choice, George, when the Taliban let me back. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: put it another way, when you had the government of Afghanistan,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the leader of that government getting into plane and taking
- 11:44Speaker 1: off and going another country. When you saw the significant
- 11:49Speaker 1: collapse of the Afghan troops we had trained to three
- 11:53Speaker 1: hundred thousand of them just leaving their equipment and taking off,
- 11:57Speaker 1: that was you know, I'm not this is that that's
- 12:00Speaker 1: what happened. That's simply what happened. So the question was
- 12:04Speaker 1: in the beginning, the threshold question was do we commit
- 12:09Speaker 1: to leave within the time frame was set. We extended
- 12:12Speaker 1: it to September first, or do we put significantly more
- 12:16Speaker 1: troops in I hear people say, well, you had twenty
- 12:19Speaker 1: five hundred folks in there and nothing was happening. You know,
- 12:22Speaker 1: there wasn't any war. But guess what the fact was
- 12:25Speaker 1: that the reason it wasn't happening is the last president
- 12:28Speaker 1: negotiated a year earlier. By the way I love it. There,
- 12:30Speaker 1: there we go blame Trump and this idea that he's
- 12:34Speaker 1: trying to get a bail out here saying why I
- 12:36Speaker 1: inherited this mess? Right? I inherited this policy. If that's true,
- 12:40Speaker 1: then then explain why you got rid of the Keystone pipeline.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Which pipeline which is a policy that you inherited. You
- 12:49Speaker 1: inherited a secure border and you did the opposite of
- 12:52Speaker 1: that policy, So explain that logic away. You inherited a
- 12:59Speaker 1: president that actually gave a crap about American citizens and
- 13:02Speaker 1: made sure they weren't harmed by the Taliban. You change
- 13:06Speaker 1: that policy. You inherited a policy of a present that
- 13:09Speaker 1: was tough on China. You got rid of that one.
- 13:12Speaker 1: You inherited energy independence, you got rid of that one.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So this idea that you were somehow stuck to a
- 13:18Speaker 1: policy of the other guy. So therefore it's really somehow
- 13:22Speaker 1: jedi mind trick. His fault is insanity. It is total insanity.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Now this present. By the way, new reports revealed the
- 13:34Speaker 1: victim who clung to the US evac plane and fell
- 13:37Speaker 1: from the sky was actually a child. And the response
- 13:42Speaker 1: from this president should shake every single one of you
- 13:45Speaker 1: to its core. His response was that was four or
- 13:48Speaker 1: five days ago. In other words, move on, get over it,
- 13:54Speaker 1: get over it, you know. He also tried to Jedi
- 13:56Speaker 1: mind triggers on something else, saying, well, the Taliban is
- 13:59Speaker 1: facing an existential threat. They aren't. They're not acting like it. Bro,
- 14:05Speaker 1: They are certainly not acting like it. But Joe Biden
- 14:10Speaker 1: sitting there trying to convince you that this is somehow
- 14:12Speaker 1: Donald Trump's fault because you inherited a policy. But every
- 14:14Speaker 1: other policy of Trump's that you inherited, you undid that
- 14:18Speaker 1: he'd be out by May first, and that the return
- 14:21Speaker 1: there'd be no attack on American forces that's what was done.
- 14:25Speaker 1: That's why I know that was happening. But the idea
- 14:28Speaker 1: if I had said I had a simple choice, if
- 14:31Speaker 1: I had said we're going to stay, then we better
- 14:34Speaker 1: be premire to put a whole hell of a lot
- 14:35Speaker 1: more troops in Your top military advisers warned against was
- 14:38Speaker 1: drawing on this timeline. They wanted you to keep about.
- 14:41Speaker 1: They didn't. It was split. That wasn't true. Again, he
- 14:45Speaker 1: just lied to you. He just lied to you. What
- 14:48Speaker 1: you're hearing right now is a lie. This is one
- 14:54Speaker 1: of the biggest lies he told in this interview. And
- 14:56Speaker 1: if George Stepanopolis, in my opinion, had any any integrity
- 15:03Speaker 1: as a journalist, he would say exactly that. He would say,
- 15:09Speaker 1: this is a lie. Let's let's really think about where
- 15:15Speaker 1: we are. You have a Taliban flag flying over the
- 15:17Speaker 1: US embassy. You have fifteen thousand American prisoners in a
- 15:20Speaker 1: terrorist state. You have civilians flying off American plains to
- 15:24Speaker 1: their death. Now we note they also include children. The
- 15:27Speaker 1: terrorist regime is armed with billions of dollars in US weapons.
- 15:32Speaker 1: You're now seeing mass murder in these streets. Al kata
- 15:37Speaker 1: anaisis now embolden and have a country and a trillion
- 15:40Speaker 1: dollars worth of assets to fund themselves with making deals
- 15:44Speaker 1: with Russians and Chinese, and Biden says this was his
- 15:49Speaker 1: plan and his response to people flying the plan that
- 15:53Speaker 1: was like four or five days ago. I mean, you
- 15:57Speaker 1: think about how messed up the Democrats are right now.
- 15:59Speaker 1: We've actually gone from defunding the police to arming terrorists.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Defunding the police to arming terrorists. Think about that. You
- 16:09Speaker 1: look at these highlights from Biden's interview quote, did not
- 16:13Speaker 1: recall being warned by US military to not push ahead
- 16:16Speaker 1: with his plan, did not know US had troops in
- 16:19Speaker 1: Syria that was in the interview, did not know certain
- 16:22Speaker 1: events in Kabble happened this week because he was on
- 16:24Speaker 1: vacation and did not know people were getting killed. You
- 16:28Speaker 1: seeing a pattern here. This guy clearly cannot handle what
- 16:33Speaker 1: is happening. And Biden flatly denied reporting that he was
- 16:37Speaker 1: advised to keep two thousand, five hundred troops in Afghanistan,
- 16:39Speaker 1: and his own intelligence community is now throwing him under
- 16:41Speaker 1: the bus for that lie in this interview. The Pentagon
- 16:46Speaker 1: right now has just come out just showing how stupid
- 16:51Speaker 1: this decision was to pull out of Afghanistan the way
- 16:53Speaker 1: that we did, and they have now said, after being
- 16:56Speaker 1: browbeat by reporters that yes, we can confirm that we
- 17:00Speaker 1: do not know how many Americans are left in Afghanistan.
- 17:05Speaker 1: We don't know. So the President Nited States America said
- 17:08Speaker 1: he did it perfect, did it right? Do it again,
- 17:11Speaker 1: refuses to back down and say he's screwed up or
- 17:13Speaker 1: made a mistake. And you have a Pentagon now atmitting
- 17:17Speaker 1: we have no idea how many Americans are there. We
- 17:19Speaker 1: have no idea how many Americans could be held hostage.
- 17:21Speaker 1: We have no idea how many of them could become
- 17:22Speaker 1: propaganda for the Taliban. What we do know is the
- 17:27Speaker 1: Taliban is intensifying their hunt for Afghans who work for
- 17:30Speaker 1: the US and uk IS. They are now going door
- 17:32Speaker 1: to door threatening relatives. United Nations is reporting this now
- 17:37Speaker 1: and they're like not conservative folks. They are now reporting
- 17:41Speaker 1: and warning. Despite the terror groups claims of amnesty for
- 17:45Speaker 1: these people, the Jehattas are going door to door threatening
- 17:48Speaker 1: families of those who have gone into hiding. The UN
- 17:51Speaker 1: papers now warned the militants are resting and killing relatives.
- 17:55Speaker 1: They are also stopping others trying to leave from the
- 17:58Speaker 1: area around the Couple airport. Are going to the airport
- 18:02Speaker 1: their reports of officials who have been shot dead after
- 18:04Speaker 1: surrendering to the Taliban. They are intensifying their hunt for
- 18:08Speaker 1: people who worked with the UK, US and NATO forces
- 18:10Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. This is coming from the UN. Of course,
- 18:14Speaker 1: it's supposed to be a confidential report internally within the UN.
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's been leaked, thank goodness. Jihadis are going door to
- 18:20Speaker 1: door killing relatives of civil servants, interpreters and other counselors staff,
- 18:26Speaker 1: while other militants are even stopping people outside the Couple airport.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Despite the Taliband's claim of amnesty, the UN says new
- 18:33Speaker 1: video today shows fighters sprang Sprang assault rifle bullets just
- 18:40Speaker 1: yards away from women and children gathered at the airport's perimeter.
- 18:43Speaker 1: The UN dassier leak to the New York Times says
- 18:46Speaker 1: the Taliban arresting and or killing or arresting family members
- 18:50Speaker 1: of targeted individuals unless they surrender themselves the Taliban, and
- 18:53Speaker 1: then when they surrender, they're being killed. Yeah, that's a
- 18:58Speaker 1: letter dated three days ago. Just so you know. This letter.
- 19:04Speaker 1: It contained a letter dated August the sixteenth from the
- 19:07Speaker 1: Taliban to senior counter terrorism official in Afghanistan who had
- 19:09Speaker 1: worked alongside the US and British officials. The letter ordered
- 19:12Speaker 1: the man to report to the Military Intelligence Commission of
- 19:15Speaker 1: the Islamic State of Afghanistan and Kabul. If he failed
- 19:18Speaker 1: to do so, it warned that his family will be
- 19:20Speaker 1: treated based on Sharia law, meaning they'll all be murdered.
- 19:23Speaker 1: The senior Afghan official told The Telegraph they've been forcing
- 19:27Speaker 1: a deep hiding to avoid the martyring fighters who they
- 19:30Speaker 1: suspect of gain access to government employee databases. Earlier this week,
- 19:35Speaker 1: former British army officials told the same paper that hundreds
- 19:39Speaker 1: of elite Afghan soldiers had gone into hiding and we're
- 19:41Speaker 1: trying to flee the country because they're now on the
- 19:44Speaker 1: kill list and when they find them, they behead them
- 19:46Speaker 1: and cut their arms off in torture them in the streets.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Let's go back to Joe Biden real quick. Joe Biden says,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I did this perfectly. There's nothing that could have gone
- 19:53Speaker 1: wrong differently here. This was going to happen anyway, and
- 19:55Speaker 1: I did it right now. He's also been caught in
- 19:59Speaker 1: a major lyne George Stepanopolis asked him a question. I'm
- 20:02Speaker 1: going to play this audio for you, but I want
- 20:03Speaker 1: to read you the transcript first so you know exactly
- 20:06Speaker 1: what to listen for. Here, Biden flatly denies reporting that
- 20:12Speaker 1: he was advised to keep two thousand, five hundred troops
- 20:14Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. I'm going to read you George Stepanopolis's words
- 20:18Speaker 1: so you understand what he said. He said, but your
- 20:21Speaker 1: top military advisors had warned against withdrawing on this timeline.
- 20:25Speaker 1: They wanted you to keep about two thousand and five
- 20:28Speaker 1: hundred troops. Biden interrupts, No, they didn't. It was split
- 20:35Speaker 1: that that wasn't true. That wasn't true, Biden stumbles. Stephanopolis,
- 20:41Speaker 1: they didn't tell you that you wanted troops, that they
- 20:43Speaker 1: wanted troops to stay. Question Mark Biden. No, no, no,
- 20:47Speaker 1: not not in terms of whether we were going to
- 20:49Speaker 1: get out in a time frame, all troops. They didn't
- 20:52Speaker 1: argue against that, Stephanopolis, he knows he's right. By the way,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Stephen Anopolis knows, everybody in the inteligin community was leaking
- 21:00Speaker 1: and telling them. We told Biden not to do this,
- 21:02Speaker 1: We told him to leave troops. So no one told you,
- 21:07Speaker 1: by Stepanopolis says, your military advisors did not tell you, no,
- 21:12Speaker 1: we should just keep two thousand and five hundred troops.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It's been a stable situation for last several years. We
- 21:19Speaker 1: can do that, We can continue to do that question
- 21:22Speaker 1: Mark Biden even more angry. No, no one said that
- 21:26Speaker 1: to me that I can recall. He knows he's busted. Look, George,
- 21:32Speaker 1: the reason why it's been stable for a year is
- 21:35Speaker 1: that because the last present said we're leaving. And here's
- 21:38Speaker 1: the deal I want to make with you, Taliban. We're
- 21:41Speaker 1: agreeing to leave if you agree not to attack us
- 21:43Speaker 1: between now and the time we leave on May the first.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So now it's Trump's fault again. He's pandering back to
- 21:49Speaker 1: that Stepanopholis interjects, But your top military advisors warned against
- 21:55Speaker 1: withdrawing on the timeline. They wanted you to keep two thousand,
- 21:58Speaker 1: five hundred troops. Biden angry. No, they didn't. I'm going
- 22:04Speaker 1: to play that audio for you so you can hear
- 22:06Speaker 1: it now. And you know what the lies are. Military
- 22:08Speaker 1: advisors warn't against was drawing on this timeline. They wanted
- 22:11Speaker 1: you to keep about twenty five They didn't. It was split.
- 22:14Speaker 1: That wasn't true. That wasn't true. They didn't tell you
- 22:18Speaker 1: that they wanted troops to stay. No, not in terms
- 22:22Speaker 1: of whether we were going to get out in a
- 22:24Speaker 1: time frame, all troops. They didn't argue against that. So
- 22:29Speaker 1: no one, no one told your military did not tell you, no,
- 22:32Speaker 1: we should just keep twenty five hundred troops. It's been
- 22:34Speaker 1: a stable situation for the less several years. We can
- 22:37Speaker 1: do that, we can continue to do that. No no
- 22:39Speaker 1: one said that to me that I can recall. Look, George,
- 22:43Speaker 1: the reason why it has been stable for a year
- 22:46Speaker 1: is because the last president said, we're leaving. And here's
- 22:50Speaker 1: the deal I wanted to make with you Taliban. We're
- 22:53Speaker 1: agreeing to leave if you agree not to attack us
- 22:55Speaker 1: between now and the time we leave on May the first.
- 22:58Speaker 1: But in two months after I were elected to office,
- 23:01Speaker 1: how you have sworn in all of a sudden, I
- 23:04Speaker 1: have a May one deadline, I have a made one deadline.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I got one or two choices. Do I say we're staying?
- 23:11Speaker 1: And do you think we would not have to put
- 23:13Speaker 1: a hell of a lot more troops? We had one hundreds,
- 23:15Speaker 1: We had tens of thousands of troops there before, tens
- 23:18Speaker 1: of thousands. Do you think we would would have just said,
- 23:21Speaker 1: no problem, don't worry about it. We're not going to
- 23:24Speaker 1: attack anybody. We're okay in the meantime. But Taliban was
- 23:28Speaker 1: taken territory all throughout the country, in the north and
- 23:32Speaker 1: down in the south and the Pashtun. So would you
- 23:34Speaker 1: have withdrawn troops like this even if President Trump had
- 23:37Speaker 1: not made that deal with the Taliban, I would have
- 23:39Speaker 1: tried to figure out how to withdraw those troops. Yes,
- 23:42Speaker 1: because look, George, there is no good time to leave Afghanistan.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Fifteen years ago would have been a problem. Fifteen years
- 23:53Speaker 1: from now. The basic choice is am I going to
- 23:57Speaker 1: send your sons and your daughters to war in Afghanistan?
- 24:02Speaker 1: In Afghanistan in perpetuity? No one can name for me
- 24:07Speaker 1: at time when this would end. And again this is
- 24:10Speaker 1: the delusional high ground that Biden is going with right here,
- 24:14Speaker 1: right Well, I'm not going to keep sending your children
- 24:16Speaker 1: to war. So if you're caught behind enemy lines and
- 24:19Speaker 1: you're the ten thousand are going to be murdered and
- 24:21Speaker 1: massacred by the Taliban, hey, at least there's an end
- 24:23Speaker 1: in sight. We also just got an official announcement. Remember
- 24:27Speaker 1: the guy that we had in Getmo the guy that
- 24:29Speaker 1: we traded for the deserter bo Bergdall in that prisoner
- 24:32Speaker 1: swap when we negotiated with terrorists done under Biden and
- 24:35Speaker 1: Obama administration. The new leader of the Taliban we had
- 24:40Speaker 1: in Getmo. He's now in charge of the Taliban. Taliban
- 24:43Speaker 1: officials have just announced the Taliban group will rule Afghanistan
- 24:49Speaker 1: with sharia law, putting women back in the stone ages,
- 24:53Speaker 1: and no democratic system. Four days ago they told us
- 24:56Speaker 1: women were going to be in the government. Yeah, they lied.
- 25:01Speaker 1: That's who we're trusting for our people's safety. Right now,
- 25:04Speaker 1: Taliban officials announced the group will rule Afghanistan with sharial
- 25:07Speaker 1: law and no democratic system. And the man who announces
- 25:11Speaker 1: the same man that we had in get Mo that
- 25:15Speaker 1: we let out and traded for the deserter bo Bergdahl.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I'll say it again, all of this was avoidable. Every
- 25:27Speaker 1: bit of it was avoidable, all of it. And this
- 25:36Speaker 1: president is sitting there basically saying, I don't care what
- 25:41Speaker 1: you say to me. I was right. Afghan women are
- 25:46Speaker 1: throwing their babies over barb wire to save them. We
- 25:49Speaker 1: have video now. Video is showing babies being passed to
- 25:53Speaker 1: strangers and crowds to get them evacuated. People passing their
- 25:58Speaker 1: infant children to others and a crowd ahead of them
- 26:00Speaker 1: at the Kabol airport, hoping that the babies and toddlers
- 26:03Speaker 1: will be evacuated and have a better life because they
- 26:05Speaker 1: know they're going to be killed. Other reports indicated women
- 26:09Speaker 1: were actually throwing their babies over the bob wire in
- 26:11Speaker 1: a desperate attempt to save them because some of the
- 26:13Speaker 1: soldiers wouldn't take them, and they basically said, well, if
- 26:15Speaker 1: I throw them, you're gonna have to. Senior official said
- 26:19Speaker 1: to Sky News. They have no choice because the situation's
- 26:22Speaker 1: out of control. They said, the black abe will live
- 26:25Speaker 1: with some of these soldiers for the rest of their lives.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It's terrible. Women were throwing their babies over the razor
- 26:29Speaker 1: wire asking the soldiers to please take them. Some of
- 26:33Speaker 1: them got caught in the bob wire troops, reported. Another
- 26:38Speaker 1: said our men are going to have to have counseling,
- 26:41Speaker 1: saying every soldier cried last night. The report from Kabol
- 26:46Speaker 1: by war correspondent of a news so it's one of
- 26:50Speaker 1: the most upsetting stories they've ever published. At the Kibol airport,
- 26:54Speaker 1: a parachute regiment officer told Kim that Afghan mothers have
- 26:57Speaker 1: been trying to throw their babies over the bob wire
- 27:00Speaker 1: to British servicemen as well, in the hopes that their
- 27:02Speaker 1: children can be saved from life under the Taliban. Some
- 27:05Speaker 1: of the babies did not reach the troops. The Washington
- 27:08Speaker 1: Post this morning printing an article describing what life was
- 27:12Speaker 1: like for some children the last time the Taliban rolled
- 27:15Speaker 1: in Afghanistan from ninety six to one quote, the outside
- 27:18Speaker 1: world got periodic glimpses into the country, even though taking
- 27:22Speaker 1: photos was forbidden. There was video of an African mother
- 27:25Speaker 1: forced to kneel in the stadium, shot dead between the
- 27:28Speaker 1: goal posts. There were photos of children dying of preventable
- 27:31Speaker 1: illnesses in a dilapidated pediatric hospital the US State Department
- 27:37Speaker 1: in November one, just after the United States had out
- 27:39Speaker 1: of the Taliban from power quote. Under Taliban rule, women
- 27:42Speaker 1: were given only the most rudimentary access to healthcare and
- 27:46Speaker 1: medical care, thereby endangering the health of women and in
- 27:48Speaker 1: turn their families. In most hospitals, male physicians could only
- 27:51Speaker 1: examine a female patient if she was fully clothed, ruling
- 27:54Speaker 1: out the possibility of meaningful diagnosis and treatment. Sharia law's
- 27:59Speaker 1: coming back. According to the United Nations International Children Emergency
- 28:04Speaker 1: Fund UNA South, one hundred and sixty five of every
- 28:06Speaker 1: thousand babies died before their first birthday in Afghanistan under
- 28:10Speaker 1: Taliban rule. And they just said they're bringing back the
- 28:13Speaker 1: same laws that allowed this to happen. And Joe Biden says,
- 28:15Speaker 1: couldn't have done a better job than I did trying
- 28:17Speaker 1: to get people out. We did it perfect, he said
- 28:20Speaker 1: today in this interview. Wouldn't change a thing, wouldn't do
- 28:23Speaker 1: anything different. I say it every day, and I'll ask
- 28:26Speaker 1: you to do it again. Please subscribe to this podcast.
