- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bus bus things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not through good Steve hasten to mother for star, don't joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn you arm. You gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn got to turn out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn the water the water. Come come on your baby,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will a good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: oh man, God being good to me. Man. I can't
- 2:17Speaker 1: explain it all really, Hey, you know, I want I
- 2:20Speaker 1: want to remind everybody or something that I need reminding
- 2:22Speaker 1: of myself all the time. And I'm I'm dealing with
- 2:28Speaker 1: a couple of things now and I had to remind myself,
- 2:32Speaker 1: you know what I have to remember to constantly remind
- 2:35Speaker 1: myself to stay in constant communication with God. Constant communication
- 2:42Speaker 1: with God. You know sometimes you know, I have a
- 2:45Speaker 1: tendency and maybe we do all the people. I don't know,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but I know for me that when it's going okay,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I slack up in sometimes having conversations with him because
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm not coming to him on the daily with something
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's pressing or something, and I find myself slacking up
- 3:02Speaker 1: in the communication. The danger I have learned in that
- 3:07Speaker 1: is this, I think, you know. I mean, we've all
- 3:11Speaker 1: heard old people say, you know, you got to stay
- 3:13Speaker 1: prayed up, you know, And you know prayed up means
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know you got some store it up. You just
- 3:20Speaker 1: got an abundance of them. Where you don't you're putting
- 3:23Speaker 1: it in. Because what happens is is when you're not
- 3:26Speaker 1: in constant communication with God, when you're not constantly praying,
- 3:31Speaker 1: doing those good times, that allows for the enemy to
- 3:36Speaker 1: slip in and do the little things that can be upsetting.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And then the next thing you know it, you get
- 3:42Speaker 1: several little things in a role. Now you got an
- 3:46Speaker 1: issue you dealing with. You know, I have to remind
- 3:49Speaker 1: myself when it's going like that, Man, Have I really
- 3:52Speaker 1: been praying though? Have I really been in constant communication
- 3:55Speaker 1: with God? Because you know that that helps God against
- 4:00Speaker 1: that little bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's big stuff,
- 4:03Speaker 1: sometimes it's major stuff. But I've noticed, man, that when
- 4:07Speaker 1: I get on a more of a smooth plane in life.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I have a tendency to slack up in that department,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and that ain't the time to slack up. I'm really
- 4:18Speaker 1: learning that I have to stay in constant communication with
- 4:21Speaker 1: God because it enables me to ward off those little
- 4:26Speaker 1: things coming up that can get in the way. And
- 4:30Speaker 1: so I just wanted to make you aware of that
- 4:32Speaker 1: as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up is important.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That you try to stop prayers, you know, you try
- 4:40Speaker 1: to you know, have some prayers in the bank, so
- 4:43Speaker 1: to speak, and just constant communication with Him because it'll
- 4:46Speaker 1: just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back doing you.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know, I just wanted to make sure you understood
- 4:52Speaker 1: that because on your journey, it's gonna be many obstacles.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I've said this a hundred times on the show. The
- 4:59Speaker 1: road to success is always under construction. I say that
- 5:02Speaker 1: all the time, and it's to let you understand that
- 5:06Speaker 1: it's not going to be easy, but we can make
- 5:10Speaker 1: it more difficult than it has to be. You know,
- 5:14Speaker 1: when you go out strike out on the journey. You know, Uh,
- 5:18Speaker 1: let's say I got in my car. Let's say I'm
- 5:20Speaker 1: in New York and I get in my car and
- 5:24Speaker 1: I say I'm going to LA. I know, if I
- 5:27Speaker 1: drive west and continue to drive west, eventually I should
- 5:34Speaker 1: get to California, or I may wind up in Portland
- 5:38Speaker 1: or Seattle or something like that. But if I drive west,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm going to eventually get to the West Coast. Now
- 5:48Speaker 1: wouldn't it be smarter though? If I mapped out the route,
- 5:55Speaker 1: which saved me a bunch of driving, I don't need
- 5:59Speaker 1: and figuring that I don't have to calculate when you
- 6:02Speaker 1: know the way to go. You know, if you know
- 6:08Speaker 1: you want to cut cross on the twenty, or you
- 6:11Speaker 1: want to cut cross on the seventy, or you want
- 6:14Speaker 1: to cut cross on the ten, you know you got
- 6:19Speaker 1: to devise a route. Now, if I want to go
- 6:21Speaker 1: visit some people I know, then I know I got
- 6:23Speaker 1: to I need to go down. You know, I might
- 6:25Speaker 1: go through on how I'll come down on the eighty,
- 6:28Speaker 1: then get on seventy one and take that all the
- 6:31Speaker 1: way down to the Tin and then ride across. Or
- 6:33Speaker 1: I might take it to the twenty cut through Texas
- 6:36Speaker 1: and then and then let it link back up on
- 6:38Speaker 1: the Tin. I know a lot of different ways, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: guess what the best way is to map it out.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You can go anywhere, but if you go with a map,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And that's what prayer has taught me that when I wouldentify,
- 6:56Speaker 1: continuously pray that I stay in the in the I
- 7:01Speaker 1: stay in a prepared mode, I have more idea of
- 7:04Speaker 1: where I'm going. I'm more secure with my route. If
- 7:07Speaker 1: you just take off driving heading west, Yeah, you'll eventually
- 7:11Speaker 1: get to the west coast if you out east. But
- 7:14Speaker 1: guess what though, had you mapped it out, you can
- 7:17Speaker 1: see when you're veering off, you may stop, come out
- 7:20Speaker 1: and not be paying attention. Next thing, you know, you're
- 7:23Speaker 1: on a route and you go on another where you're
- 7:25Speaker 1: going north when you could easily still be going west.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You've got to constantly be aware of that. And I'm
- 7:30Speaker 1: just pointing that out to you because I know that
- 7:32Speaker 1: on your journey a lot of times you get sidetracked.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And part of the ways we get sidetracked is we
- 7:39Speaker 1: lose out on that very the very beneficial resource of prayer.
- 7:44Speaker 1: We lose out, we die connection with God get strained.
- 7:48Speaker 1: The thicker you can keep the cord connected to God
- 7:53Speaker 1: if you thin out your communication with God. And instead
- 7:57Speaker 1: of having a big, thick cable, now you're dealing with
- 7:59Speaker 1: a little thread. You know, a cable is stronger than thread,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and so it just decreases your opportunity. And so you know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I wanted to just make you aware of that, and
- 8:13Speaker 1: you know, to ever be encouraging to say to everybody
- 8:15Speaker 1: out there and just keep your head up. It is
- 8:18Speaker 1: going to be dark days for you. There are going
- 8:20Speaker 1: to be situations where it's going to be daunting and
- 8:23Speaker 1: hard to face. But man on man on man, everybody
- 8:28Speaker 1: has to face these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes. You know, look,
- 8:33Speaker 1: if you didn't lose, if you didn't lose, you wouldn't
- 8:37Speaker 1: even appreciate winning because if it all went your way
- 8:41Speaker 1: all the time. Do you know how complacent and content
- 8:45Speaker 1: and how easy life would be if it just went
- 8:50Speaker 1: your way all the time. So when it kept going
- 8:53Speaker 1: your way, you wouldn't even appreciate it because guess what,
- 8:56Speaker 1: it's been going this way the whole time. So what
- 8:58Speaker 1: life does is as its checks and balances. These hard
- 9:03Speaker 1: times are coming, and you need the hard times to
- 9:05Speaker 1: appreciate the good times. You need the clouds and you
- 9:09Speaker 1: need the rain to appreciate the sun and the flowers.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It's just when it comes to prayer, though, just stay
- 9:19Speaker 1: prayed up, stay constant with it, because the challenges of
- 9:23Speaker 1: life are coming, whether you prayed up or not, they're coming.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Understand that you could pray every day all day. When
- 9:31Speaker 1: you get through praying every day all day, something gonna
- 9:34Speaker 1: happen to you. That's gonna be challenging. Now. I would
- 9:38Speaker 1: rather have been in communication with God on a regular
- 9:41Speaker 1: than wait till every time something pop off to have
- 9:43Speaker 1: to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, it was over
- 9:48Speaker 1: at a little around the board with it today, but
- 9:51Speaker 1: that's how it came to me, so that it is.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I ain't mad at it. Y'all have a great day.
- 9:55Speaker 1: We're gonna have a good one day. Let's go. You're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening show, ladies and gentlemen. Let's have it your undivided attention.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Get it together. Clap fum me, so clap, that's sola.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Now sing fum me now, hum from me, whistle fum me,
- 10:30Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. This is the nutty Steve Harvey morning

- 10:42Speaker 1: can't whistle anymore for some reason. Good morning, Steve. Your
- 10:46Speaker 1: eyes and your eyes surely close them and then yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: close them and then try to whistle. Your body. Can't
- 10:54Speaker 1: have a bunch of stuff barging out the one time.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I know you can't whistle with those lists. Okay, I
- 11:00Speaker 1: can't whistle, you can. Oh, I can do way more
- 11:04Speaker 1: than whistle, though. Colin Pharrell, all right there, good Monday morning.
- 11:11Speaker 1: What that mean you wish? Junior? Come morning? Up morning everybody? Five?
- 11:19Speaker 1: J Anthony Brown? What's good on Steve Hobby? What's happening

- 11:34Speaker 1: say how is your weekend? But you didn't have one,
- 11:36Speaker 1: so I'm on same day now. I got the quarantine blue.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I'm so tired of staying at home. I'm so tired
- 11:50Speaker 1: of being alone. Won't you help me? Girl? Just as
- 11:55Speaker 1: soon as you can. I just wanna go on a plane.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I want to go somewhere. Dun It, I go to
- 12:13Speaker 1: the stove, Dunna. I'm tired of go when Dunna, I
- 12:17Speaker 1: go to the park. But baby, where is que? Yeah?
- 12:26Speaker 1: You just sit there. It's just you're just sitting up
- 12:28Speaker 1: here and going straight nutty. Yeah. I do have a
- 12:31Speaker 1: friend though, Steve, that's going to Vegas tomorrow. Okay, that's stupid.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I think so, and I love Vegas. I mean I
- 12:43Speaker 1: understand wanting to go, yeah, but I not yet. Yeah?
- 12:52Speaker 1: How are they doing that like every other gambling table?
- 12:55Speaker 1: How does that work? Not wearing masks? I do know
- 12:58Speaker 1: that it's a commercial where they had masks on the chips.
- 13:03Speaker 1: How do you do with your hands? But somebody else
- 13:07Speaker 1: hands was on that chip? Yes, I don't know. Oh,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna have gloves on. I'm gonna have a restorator mask.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I have an oxygen tank. I just have fresh oxygen
- 13:25Speaker 1: in my nose and the mask. All right, Uh, listen,
- 13:31Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, more
- 13:33Speaker 1: of them, we'll talk more, and we'll welcome a brand

- 15:11Speaker 1: Steve HARVEYFM dot com. Are you ready? Closly? All right?
- 15:18Speaker 1: This one is from BT in Biloxi, Mississippi. He says
- 15:22Speaker 1: I've been messing. She says, I've been messing with this
- 15:24Speaker 1: guy off and on for ten years, and I just
- 15:27Speaker 1: found out he's married. We live about an hour apart,
- 15:31Speaker 1: so we meet in the middle to hook up. I
- 15:33Speaker 1: always google men when I meet them to make sure
- 15:36Speaker 1: they're not serial killers, and I google my sex buddy
- 15:39Speaker 1: from time to time. Two and I saw a wedding
- 15:41Speaker 1: registry that led me to his wife's Instagram page. According
- 15:45Speaker 1: to all of her posts, he's happily married. My problem
- 15:49Speaker 1: is two weeks ago we had unprotected sex because he
- 15:54Speaker 1: begged me too. I gotta check up since then, and
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm fine, his wife doesn't deserve this, should I tell her? Wow,
- 16:04Speaker 1: his wife doesn't deserve this. Okay, So question is what
- 16:08Speaker 1: you're doing it for? You said, keyword messing. I've been
- 16:14Speaker 1: messing with this man for ten years. I just found
- 16:18Speaker 1: out he married. We live a hour on a part
- 16:20Speaker 1: ten years and you don't know what dude married because
- 16:23Speaker 1: you didn't care. All you was doing was messing with him.
- 16:28Speaker 1: So now he didn't bege you to have unprotected sex.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You said, yes, now you found out he married. Now
- 16:34Speaker 1: you want to tell his wife. Girl, go sit down somewhere.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Thank you, go sit down somewhere. You messing with a
- 16:44Speaker 1: man for ten years. Messing is to keep So now
- 16:47Speaker 1: you've been in some mess. Now you find out he
- 16:49Speaker 1: married What what you think was happening for ten straight
- 16:52Speaker 1: years of not asking you to marry him? Right there?
- 17:00Speaker 1: I love it? Story from iHeartRadio says I'm twenty nine
- 17:06Speaker 1: years old and my fiance is weird. When we met
- 17:10Speaker 1: three years ago, we went everywhere together, even to the
- 17:13Speaker 1: strip club. It's harmless fun and I was able to
- 17:16Speaker 1: learn a few new seductive moves to use on my man.
- 17:19Speaker 1: As our relationship got more serious, we stopped going to
- 17:22Speaker 1: strip clubs. Instead. He ordered me a lot of stripper
- 17:26Speaker 1: outfits and cheap heels, and he wants me to perform
- 17:29Speaker 1: for him. He has suggested I take pole classes too.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It was cute at first, but I'm not going to
- 17:36Speaker 1: dance for him every time we have sex. Is this
- 17:38Speaker 1: an obsession or just role playing? Should I be worried?
- 17:42Speaker 1: He wants you to take pole classes? He'd have bought
- 17:45Speaker 1: you stripper outfits. Y'all was going there for three years,
- 17:50Speaker 1: banking his funds. You learned some new moves. Yeah, he
- 17:54Speaker 1: wants you to strip for him all the time. Stripping
- 17:56Speaker 1: turns him on. Ye, Yeah that's what he likes. And yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 1: he's gonna ask you to do it. Is it weird? Yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know, she said, isn't Is it
- 18:08Speaker 1: an obsession or just role playing? And should she be worried?
- 18:12Speaker 1: It's all of that. Yeah, you role playing, It is
- 18:16Speaker 1: an obsession and your ass ought to be worried. Now
- 18:19Speaker 1: what should she be worried about? Well, A lot of
- 18:21Speaker 1: times you just don't feel like dancing, unel. You know,
- 18:25Speaker 1: sometimes I just want to have sex. I don't want
- 18:28Speaker 1: to have to I don't want to performance. Yeah, to
- 18:32Speaker 1: do that. I don't feel like whipping you wait, what
- 18:40Speaker 1: take that feather off of my I don't want the
- 18:43Speaker 1: feather to night. It's too much. You can't go in
- 18:49Speaker 1: with a problem and expect the problem to go away
- 18:51Speaker 1: just because you got married. A matter of fact, that
- 18:54Speaker 1: it's gonna get magnified. All right, you're on fire tonight,
- 18:59Speaker 1: sir are Yeah, Well, I mean it looks like you're
- 19:02Speaker 1: helping Jay ask Yeah. Yeah, yeah, you're on fire tonight. Clo.
- 19:13Speaker 1: All right. This is from Quan and Kentucky. Quan says,
- 19:15Speaker 1: I've been driving trucks for the past fourteen years, and
- 19:18Speaker 1: I needed to make more money as our family expanded.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I studied to get my CDL license and I started
- 19:27Speaker 1: driving long hauls during the pandemic. My wife loves the money,
- 19:30Speaker 1: but she doesn't like me being gone up to twelve
- 19:33Speaker 1: days at a time, and she doesn't trust the truck
- 19:35Speaker 1: or lifestyle and the cheating that goes on. She knows
- 19:38Speaker 1: I'm not like that. I make my money and go home.
- 19:41Speaker 1: She wants me to find a job in our area,
- 19:43Speaker 1: but I told her the money isn't the same. I'm
- 19:46Speaker 1: sick of the nagging. Should I give in to my
- 19:49Speaker 1: wife and park the big rig or keep on trucking? Well,
- 19:53Speaker 1: that's a that's a dilemma because we have a problem now.
- 19:57Speaker 1: The real money is when you if is if you
- 19:59Speaker 1: go outside your comfort zone. The other money is if
- 20:04Speaker 1: you stay in your comfort zone. So if you stay local,
- 20:06Speaker 1: this is how much you can make. If you expand,
- 20:08Speaker 1: that's how much you can make. She liked the money,
- 20:10Speaker 1: but she don't like the cost of making the money.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You can't have your cake and eat it too. You
- 20:15Speaker 1: have to make a choice. What would you do? I'm
- 20:21Speaker 1: gonna keep driving the truble. I've been faced with the
- 20:24Speaker 1: alternative many times in my life. Several people YA do
- 20:28Speaker 1: this on me? Well, yeah, all right, thank you cello.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Tonight coming up next, church complains with the court taking
- 20:41Speaker 1: def Jam right after this, Yeah, you're listening to show.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, miss Anne
- 20:50Speaker 1: will be here with today's national news. Protests continued in Portland, Seattle, Austin, Chicago,
- 20:56Speaker 1: and Louisville, and some very sad news from the Innertainment
- 21:00Speaker 1: World TV host Icon Regis Philbin has passed away. Our
- 21:04Speaker 1: condolences to the Philbin family. We'll also tell you about
- 21:09Speaker 1: celebrity baby news for Sierra and Russell Wilson and all
- 21:13Speaker 1: the stories at the top of the hour. But first,
- 21:15Speaker 1: it is Monday, Saint Louis. Get ready for Reverend Motown
- 21:19Speaker 1: and Deacon deaf Jam. They are here with church complaints.
- 21:24Speaker 1: We m Father, oh woa Father. We gavel on this
- 21:33Speaker 1: Monday morning to hell complaints from the Congregation of ungratefulness,
- 21:44Speaker 1: lack of gratituity, and he is their leader, their profound
- 21:52Speaker 1: bringer off complaints death and Jam. Deacon excoose me, Deacon
- 21:58Speaker 1: deaf Jam, go ahead, right all right, Pastor, Let's get
- 22:02Speaker 1: right to it. Sister Betty Barkins, last time, last two teeth.
- 22:08Speaker 1: He is all gums now now she wants to church
- 22:12Speaker 1: to buy her blended. She wants to blend some fried
- 22:15Speaker 1: chickens the blender sixty five dollars. YO, call passed. If
- 22:18Speaker 1: you want us to get that for sister Barkin. Well,
- 22:21Speaker 1: we're gonna go ahead and make that contribution. And ye
- 22:28Speaker 1: take it out of two Fairy fun that was created
- 22:31Speaker 1: for the children. We're gonna move that over to the
- 22:36Speaker 1: Betty Bunkin Fun. Because of Betty, I think if we
- 22:40Speaker 1: keep her health and she do make the best fried chicken. Yeah,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I know it's gonna taste blended, but when it's fried, lordest,
- 22:50Speaker 1: she gotta blend the crunch out of it though, because
- 22:53Speaker 1: you ain't got no teeth, that crunch gonna cut your
- 22:55Speaker 1: mouth or pretty bad. Yeah, but we will donated from
- 22:59Speaker 1: the two fairs refund for the children. All right, very well,
- 23:04Speaker 1: put that in motion. Now, we got some members that
- 23:08Speaker 1: are complaining about you doing our church on zoom. They say,
- 23:12Speaker 1: you're standing who close to the camera and they're looking
- 23:16Speaker 1: way up your nose, up your no, they want to shoot.
- 23:19Speaker 1: You're gonna have to back up up. We're not doing that.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Or cameraman or Deacon Brown, Jaffery Brown is our cameraman
- 23:32Speaker 1: and that's how he shoots his shots, all of them.
- 23:37Speaker 1: He's an old school cameraman. He he acts like his
- 23:42Speaker 1: zoom is a VCR and that sport is going on.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So we can't fix that right now until we get
- 23:50Speaker 1: some more young people at the church because right now
- 23:53Speaker 1: videographer for zoom his damn this seventy and he not
- 24:01Speaker 1: technologically gifted yet, so we need a video ministry. We
- 24:12Speaker 1: got another issue. Pass a Sister Wander Jeffers. She i
- 24:16Speaker 1: borrowed the church band on Saturday. Now, Brother Titus told
- 24:20Speaker 1: her he gave her the Keith. He told her to
- 24:22Speaker 1: put some all in the car. Apparently she knows nothing
- 24:25Speaker 1: about car. She went to the grocery store about groceries
- 24:28Speaker 1: and then came outside and put some canola all in
- 24:31Speaker 1: that name. The van is in the Kroger parking lot
- 24:35Speaker 1: as we speak. It's gonna cost twenty five hundred dollars
- 24:37Speaker 1: to get it back working. What you want to do
- 24:39Speaker 1: about that, Well, you say that was Sister Wander. Sister
- 24:44Speaker 1: Wander Jeffries, Okay, well we go. Oh, we're gonna send
- 24:52Speaker 1: the whack or the whack crew down that w w
- 24:56Speaker 1: ac or committed down, then picked the van up, committed
- 25:04Speaker 1: the w wac that's the whoop. Wanda ask committed because
- 25:08Speaker 1: that's what it's gonna be. Yea, because that's what the
- 25:10Speaker 1: hell gonna help putting that down. Cannola in the church
- 25:13Speaker 1: bad like she ain't got no sense, damn mind he's
- 25:18Speaker 1: doing here? Will wistna go in that car? Shouldn't have
- 25:23Speaker 1: many regular terms, shouldn't make me damn make no damn
- 25:26Speaker 1: ship all right? And other members, Uh, there's quite a
- 25:30Speaker 1: few of them. I asking iftate doing church serpence on
- 25:33Speaker 1: zoom when they turned the sound down, does it still account?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Is it out right? They just a message you don't.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I don't care if you cut the sound down. Just
- 25:46Speaker 1: as long as you pay that mission fee for the zoom.
- 25:49Speaker 1: You can put it on mute, cute, dilupe. I don't
- 25:53Speaker 1: give a damnat, but it is required to zoom in.
- 26:02Speaker 1: You must make at least a twenty dollars donation plush
- 26:07Speaker 1: ties and do we not letting no restreat me? And
- 26:10Speaker 1: you zoom? Yeah, you cut off? You want to Okay, Hey,
- 26:15Speaker 1: your twenty is zoom out. You can commodore zoom after that.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I like to fly oh way? Yeah, come on now,
- 26:30Speaker 1: all right past that's what happened when I let him
- 26:33Speaker 1: just use me, just come to me like that. Critical
- 26:41Speaker 1: that's one of our one of our members is back
- 26:45Speaker 1: at work since the Misty, since the Mistery Williams just
- 26:49Speaker 1: back dancing at the strip club. It's it's changed to
- 26:52Speaker 1: a drive through strip club. You pay ten dollars and
- 26:55Speaker 1: drive through the building. The girls on poles and they
- 26:59Speaker 1: on each side of the car. Now I went through,
- 27:01Speaker 1: they are ten times trying to talk to her, and
- 27:04Speaker 1: I ran out of money, But you grant me two
- 27:08Speaker 1: hundred dollars powder. I think I can talk her off
- 27:11Speaker 1: that poet. But yeah, I just need We're not gonna
- 27:15Speaker 1: be able to do that for or your better fit.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Oh just had No, let's just come to the conclusion.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Everybody not gonna stay saved. Oh see some people, some
- 27:30Speaker 1: people have to backslide, and Sister Misty then obviously backslid. Yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 1: so what I'll do the mars, I'll swing through the
- 27:44Speaker 1: all right pastor night. Our less fortunate members are coming
- 27:49Speaker 1: online for they're not coming online for the Zoom Church
- 27:52Speaker 1: service due to the houses look a mess. Now they
- 27:56Speaker 1: I guess what we're trying to do and see if
- 27:57Speaker 1: we can spend some money so we can get them
- 28:01Speaker 1: some fancy backdrops so they won't look so bad. But
- 28:04Speaker 1: it's it's a lot of just just nasty housing that's
- 28:08Speaker 1: in the background that well, and they don't want to
- 28:11Speaker 1: come on that, but that's okay. We're gonna train them
- 28:13Speaker 1: how to come on anywhere, and we're going to create
- 28:16Speaker 1: a new ministry out of the people, the less fortunate
- 28:20Speaker 1: people's houses. You're gonna show their backgrounds, and we're gonna
- 28:26Speaker 1: have a committee called that. Ain't you blessed? Now? Committed?
- 28:30Speaker 1: We see how other folks is living. Maybe that'll shut
- 28:34Speaker 1: you up from all the complaining. Ain't you blessed? Now?
- 28:38Speaker 1: Look at Sister Cecilia's house now, ain't you blessed? Now?
- 28:44Speaker 1: All right? Thank you pastor thank you deacon for church

- 29:48Speaker 1: Yeah we do, yeah, we do. Uh. Some sad news
- 29:53Speaker 1: to report. Um TV legend you knew him right, Steve,
- 29:56Speaker 1: Regis philbin uh former host of Live with Regis and Kathy,
- 30:00Speaker 1: Lee and Regis and Kelly who wants to be a millionaire. Well,
- 30:05Speaker 1: he passed away this weekend, this past Friday, of natural
- 30:07Speaker 1: causes reaches. His family thanked his fans for their incredible
- 30:11Speaker 1: support over his sixty year career. Sixty years. Wow. Well
- 30:18Speaker 1: he was a really, really kind guy. Man. We've talked
- 30:21Speaker 1: a few times and it was always about neck tie.
- 30:25Speaker 1: He see, man, Steve, you gotta teach me. I'll tie
- 30:27Speaker 1: your tie. And that was that was just our little
- 30:30Speaker 1: running gag every time we saw it. Just a really
- 30:32Speaker 1: nice man. I didn't know him other than in passing,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you know, when we were talking everything. Always just a
- 30:38Speaker 1: kind gracious guy man. Major star though, major star Yeah.

- 30:55Speaker 1: and Kelly loved him. And Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
- 30:58Speaker 1: When it first started out too yeah like the Phone
- 31:02Speaker 1: a friend. Yeah, that's a hard show to dude, man,

- 31:12Speaker 1: to get to the like fifteen thousand dollars, twenty five
- 31:14Speaker 1: thousand dollars. I can't read the questions no more because
- 31:17Speaker 1: they had words and I have never heard it didn't
- 31:20Speaker 1: work out three grands? Man, Yeah, I get up to
- 31:26Speaker 1: three grand And then after that, man, man, they had
- 31:29Speaker 1: a little earbud in my ear, and they were saying
- 31:32Speaker 1: them words to me. Because what you're doing before the show,
- 31:35Speaker 1: you're going in and you practice the questions and any
- 31:39Speaker 1: words you're have in trouble with, they make note and
- 31:41Speaker 1: when they're right, before they get to the word, they
- 31:43Speaker 1: say it in your earbud. And I was messing it
- 31:47Speaker 1: up to dude, was saying the word from me, and
- 31:49Speaker 1: I couldn't say it cut because you know, you got
- 31:54Speaker 1: to get it right, because this is people. Once they
- 31:56Speaker 1: get up to that fifteen thousand, you know, twenty five thousand. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:00Speaker 1: that's usually where people leave. Yeah again, our condolence is
- 32:05Speaker 1: going out to the family of Regis Philbin eight. Yeah

- 33:00Speaker 1: Ye Downtown baby, Yeah damn yeah, all right, Steve, take
- 33:10Speaker 1: us to miss Anne. Please get the ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:12Speaker 1: miss Anne Trump. Thanks guys. This is and twer for
- 33:16Speaker 1: the news. Good morning everybody out there. The body of
- 33:18Speaker 1: the late Congressman John Lewis was brought, of course, the
- 33:21Speaker 1: infamous Edwin Pettis Bridge in Selma, Alabama, yesterday by horse
- 33:25Speaker 1: drawing carriage that suspended where the civil rights icon was
- 33:28Speaker 1: almost killed. In nineteen sixty five, a group of young
- 33:32Speaker 1: people attempted to cross the Admin Pettus Bridge and sell
- 33:36Speaker 1: My Alabama to dramatize to the nation into the world
- 33:40Speaker 1: that people wanted simpler to register to vote. They came
- 33:44Speaker 1: toward us, beating us at night stakes and bullwhips at
- 33:48Speaker 1: the foot of that bridge. I was beaten. I thought
- 33:50Speaker 1: I was going to die, But you've dined. Was necessary
- 33:54Speaker 1: to make it possible for hundreds and thousands and millions
- 33:58Speaker 1: of people to be able to particip beat in a
- 34:00Speaker 1: democratic process. It was their priors to pay that sound
- 34:03Speaker 1: courtesy of CNN. The police viciously attacked the peaceful protests
- 34:07Speaker 1: with sticks and clubs that day. It became known as
- 34:09Speaker 1: Bloody Sunday. It marked a critical turning point in the
- 34:12Speaker 1: fight four civil rights, though, leading to the passage of
- 34:14Speaker 1: the Voting Rights Act of nineteen sixty five. Edmund Pettis,
- 34:17Speaker 1: by the way, was a Confederate general and a KKK
- 34:20Speaker 1: leader as a petitioner renamed that bridge after John Lewis.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Lewis's bodies lying and stayed at the Capitol Building in Washington,
- 34:27Speaker 1: d C. Today in tomorrow. His funeral takes place on Thursday.
- 34:30Speaker 1: In Portland, Oregon, there were weekend clashes between police and
- 34:33Speaker 1: people protesting police brutality, racism, and President Trump's continued deployment
- 34:38Speaker 1: of federal forces to the city, something the local officials
- 34:40Speaker 1: say has made the situation worse. Protests continued in Seattle,
- 34:44Speaker 1: where police Chief Carmen Bess's things went from bad to worse,
- 34:47Speaker 1: she said, Demonstrators refused to leave and through rocks and
- 34:49Speaker 1: bottles at the officers. And in Austin, Texas, authorities say
- 34:52Speaker 1: a motorist drove into a crowd and one person died
- 34:55Speaker 1: when he opened fire. Witnesses say there was a car honking,
- 34:58Speaker 1: five gunshots, moments later, three more shots. The drive has
- 35:01Speaker 1: been taken in custody. More than one thousand COVID nineteen
- 35:05Speaker 1: deaths in the US for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday,
- 35:08Speaker 1: By the way, at the White House, a cafeteria worker
- 35:10Speaker 1: there has tested positive for COVID nineteen. According to the
- 35:13Speaker 1: Census Bureau, four out of five. At four out of
- 35:16Speaker 1: every ten households in the US have not sent in
- 35:18Speaker 1: their census figures. Sally, longtime TV show hosts a reach
- 35:22Speaker 1: of Regis Philbrim has died at a year, Regis Hilburn
- 35:27Speaker 1: and Kelly Yes, and he will be missed. He was
- 35:30Speaker 1: there for a long long time. And finally, actress Olivia
- 35:33Speaker 1: to Havelin has died in Paris and at age one
- 35:36Speaker 1: oh four. Olivia to Havelin the last living actor from
- 35:38Speaker 1: Gone with the Wind. Yes, actually I love it is.
- 35:44Speaker 1: It's more than a house. It's a horn world. It
- 35:48Speaker 1: wants only to be graceful and beautiful. Oh and they
- 35:51Speaker 1: were the curtains for their dresses. Now back to the
- 35:53Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, Houston.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Nigerian rapper toe Beni Wigwi and his new song try
- 36:02Speaker 1: Jesus Not Me went viral yesterday. Take a listen, Try
- 36:11Speaker 1: Jesus not Me because I throw hands. Hi jed please
- 36:25Speaker 1: don't dry me because I'm fined. I know what he's
- 36:35Speaker 1: saying about getting slapped, but if you touch me a mind,
- 36:43Speaker 1: we're gonna have to scrab So Hi Jedus, please don't
- 36:50Speaker 1: try me because I'm fined. I have no problem laying Jesus.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Try Jesus. Don't try me because I throw hands. Try Jesus.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Please don't try me because I find why you say
- 37:31Speaker 1: sund the other tea life is one point of the
- 37:35Speaker 1: babe that just don't sit the array with me. So
- 37:40Speaker 1: try Jesus. Please don't try me, because I find I
- 37:51Speaker 1: have no problem leading Jesus. Can't you crazy? My favorite
- 38:08Speaker 1: song man? Do you know how many times I played
- 38:09Speaker 1: that song today? Yesterday, yesterday, Man, I played that song man,
- 38:15Speaker 1: probably fifteen times. I sent. I sent that song to
- 38:20Speaker 1: Bishop Olma, I sent it to Pastor Charles Jenkins, I
- 38:25Speaker 1: sent it to Bishop td Jake's. I sent it to
- 38:29Speaker 1: Tyler Perry Thomas. Man, thank you, man, just what I need? Yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 1: what did I said? Man? Kenneth Olmer said, Man, me
- 38:40Speaker 1: and my wife laughing so hard we almost wrecked out car.
- 38:45Speaker 1: He said, Man, you like an oasis in the middle
- 38:47Speaker 1: of a desert. He said, boy, I needed this laugh today.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Bishop Jake said, hilarious. All right, coming up at thirty
- 39:00Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 39:02Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this you're listening to
- 39:05Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. According to the Atlanta According to the
- 39:11Speaker 1: Atlanta Journal, Constitution Alabama bid farewell to Native sun and
- 39:15Speaker 1: civil rights icon Congressman John Lewis. The remember and service
- 39:20Speaker 1: began on Saturday in Troy, Alabama, where Congressman Lewis was
- 39:24Speaker 1: born and raised. Then yesterday, a military honor guard accompanied
- 39:28Speaker 1: Congressman Lewis's body across the Edmund Pettis Bridge in Selma, Alabama.
- 39:34Speaker 1: That bridge became a landmark if you recall for civil
- 39:37Speaker 1: and voting rights, where John Lewis was beaten on bloody
- 39:40Speaker 1: Sunday while marching with other demonstrators for voting for the
- 39:44Speaker 1: voting rights fifty five years ago. Congressman Lewis will lie
- 39:49Speaker 1: in state in three capitol buildings in Montgomery, Washington, d C.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And in Atlanta. The John Lewis Voting Rights Act of
- 39:57Speaker 1: twenty twenty will be introduced to the how today, You know,
- 40:01Speaker 1: this is just one of the things I think they
- 40:03Speaker 1: should do A small gesture. They should rename that bridge.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure, because the bridge right now has
- 40:10Speaker 1: the name of the Grand Dragon of the KKK on it, right,
- 40:15Speaker 1: Is that correct? I believe they should change the name
- 40:20Speaker 1: of that bridge to the John Lewis Bridge. That's that's
- 40:24Speaker 1: one small thing I should do, yes, because he spent
- 40:27Speaker 1: his life. You know, since Donald Trump wants to let's
- 40:31Speaker 1: take credit for doing so much for black people, which
- 40:34Speaker 1: I don't know anything he's done for black people. Then
- 40:39Speaker 1: you know, I heard him the other day. I heard
- 40:42Speaker 1: the other day he say that the Prison Reform Act,
- 40:47Speaker 1: and I said, well, that was for black people. But
- 40:53Speaker 1: you know what, that's not doing anything for black people.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Because you know what sickens me is when people say,
- 40:59Speaker 1: you know, you know, we're trying to help you fight
- 41:03Speaker 1: for your rights. No, wait a minute, man, why do
- 41:06Speaker 1: we have to fight for our rights? For our rights? Yeah?
- 41:10Speaker 1: Why don't we just have rights as human beings as
- 41:15Speaker 1: Americans as part of the constitution. So I get tired
- 41:20Speaker 1: when I hear people say, we're gonna help you fight
- 41:22Speaker 1: for your rights. Why do we have to fight for them?
- 41:26Speaker 1: Where's our nameable right to the pursuit of happiness? Where's
- 41:29Speaker 1: that that's what we're supposed to have. White people ain't
- 41:32Speaker 1: got to fight for their rights, So why we got
- 41:35Speaker 1: to fight for our rights? So don't act like you're
- 41:37Speaker 1: doing a favor when you try to correct an injustice
- 41:40Speaker 1: and now we're doing you a favor. It ain't a favor,
- 41:42Speaker 1: it's a right. It's wrong to incarcerate people with with
- 41:47Speaker 1: with lengthy sentences, that's unjustly done. And to incarcerate innocent people,
- 41:53Speaker 1: that's wrong. You ain't doing no favor when you let
- 41:56Speaker 1: nobody out. It should have never been in. So y'all
- 41:59Speaker 1: listen to me. We got to be careful with this
- 42:01Speaker 1: man and allowing him to just lie, and we accept it.
- 42:07Speaker 1: He ain't done nothing for black people, and I want
- 42:12Speaker 1: to know what he's done for black people. So all
- 42:14Speaker 1: y'all supporters that's talking about Trump done more for black
- 42:17Speaker 1: people than President Obama? What did he do? What? I'm just,
- 42:23Speaker 1: I'm dog. I give him credit if you just tell
- 42:26Speaker 1: me what he did. Tell me what he did now,
- 42:30Speaker 1: and I'll be quiet. That passed in Cleveland should act
- 42:34Speaker 1: like he hadn't done a lot. I tell you that. Yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 1: he didn't gave him a check of some kind. Yes,
- 42:42Speaker 1: I know he's done a lot for his black behind. Yeah, well,
- 42:50Speaker 1: this is something we can all do, Steve, because it
- 42:52Speaker 1: is a hundred days until the presidential election, so we
- 42:55Speaker 1: can go to when we all vote dot org and
- 42:58Speaker 1: get registered to vote day. We're okay, that's one thing,
- 43:02Speaker 1: the most important thing we can do. Yeah to Congressman, easy,
- 43:14Speaker 1: that's easy, man. We can honor him. He died for
- 43:18Speaker 1: voting rights, for civil rights. Come on, y'all, Mama, Luther King,
- 43:22Speaker 1: Rosa Park. The list goes on and on. We have
- 43:25Speaker 1: an obligation here, let's go and vote. And she's right, Michelle.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Obama's right. When we all vote, dot org is where
- 43:36Speaker 1: we go. But do you know what would happen when
- 43:38Speaker 1: we all vote? When we all vote, Oh, Lord, have mercy.
- 43:42Speaker 1: We can change the game. Change. We can change the game, man,
- 43:48Speaker 1: And this time the game has got to get changed. Yeah,
- 43:51Speaker 1: we have to do our part. Steve, you're right, all right,
- 43:54Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears here and nephew Tommy is here
- 43:58Speaker 1: with the prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:02Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:06Speaker 1: the hour. Right right about four minutes after. It's my

- 45:52Speaker 1: But what what is FPC? Okay? You don't know anything
- 45:54Speaker 1: about a photo being taken of You need no Okay,
- 46:00Speaker 1: uh sir, FPC is uh we are this is a
- 46:03Speaker 1: funeral Picture company, Funeral Picture company. And what we do
- 46:08Speaker 1: is we come out and take your picture and we
- 46:11Speaker 1: actually keep it on file. That way, when you do
- 46:13Speaker 1: pass away, we have your picture for your program and
- 46:16Speaker 1: we have a nice picture for you. Look, I'm not
- 46:19Speaker 1: dead right now, you're not taking no picture? Me? Who

- 47:48Speaker 1: get that that. That sounds like a much of more
- 47:50Speaker 1: and ill, who the hell gave you my number? That's
- 47:53Speaker 1: what I want to know, sir. I'm not quite sure,
- 47:55Speaker 1: but one thing we have to do is we have

- 48:00Speaker 1: have to do is week I have to come out
- 48:02Speaker 1: there and take a picture now. So I don't want to,
- 48:06Speaker 1: you know, create a problem, but I have to get
- 48:07Speaker 1: a picture of you by next week. Oh it's gonna
- 48:10Speaker 1: be problem because you're not getting no picture of me

- 54:43Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter, Thank you Nephew. Subject Love
- 54:48Speaker 1: can make you do some crazy things. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I am a beautiful black, twenty nine year old woman
- 54:56Speaker 1: and I'm in love with a deadbeat dude, but I
- 55:00Speaker 1: don't know how to get him out of my system.
- 55:02Speaker 1: He's thirty six years old and would currently live with
- 55:05Speaker 1: his parents. When I met him, I was the side
- 55:08Speaker 1: piece for a year. I got pregnant and had nowhere
- 55:12Speaker 1: to live, so he let me live in his car.
- 55:16Speaker 1: His parents found out about me and they let me
- 55:18Speaker 1: stay with them. Now he's divorced and our relationship is complicated.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I found him at a bar with a female recently
- 55:25Speaker 1: and I poured his beer on him. He pulled my
- 55:28Speaker 1: wig off and we ended up in the middle of
- 55:30Speaker 1: the bar arguing. Last week, he went out and came
- 55:34Speaker 1: in at five am, and I was waiting up with
- 55:36Speaker 1: a pot of hot coffee and I dashed it on
- 55:39Speaker 1: him when he walked in. We always forgive each other afterwards,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and we know we love hard, but something's got to give.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I have lost myself in this relationship, and I know
- 55:52Speaker 1: this is not how I'm supposed to act. The worst
- 55:55Speaker 1: part is that I cheated on him, trying to beat
- 55:58Speaker 1: him at his own game and backfired. I ended up
- 56:01Speaker 1: getting a sexually transmitted infection STI and had to tell
- 56:06Speaker 1: him about it. My doctor said my boyfriend could have
- 56:09Speaker 1: given it to me, which is highly possible, and that
- 56:13Speaker 1: maybe why my boyfriend didn't get too upset when I
- 56:16Speaker 1: told him. He keeps saying he needs me to be
- 56:18Speaker 1: patient with him and give him one more chance. I
- 56:22Speaker 1: want my child to be with both of his parents
- 56:24Speaker 1: and his grandparents, so that's why I haven't left him.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Do you think this relationship can get better or is
- 56:30Speaker 1: he too old now to ever change? Please advise? Woo.
- 56:35Speaker 1: This is a whole bunch of crazy in this letter,
- 56:37Speaker 1: isn't it? Where do I start first? Okay, you said
- 56:43Speaker 1: you're in love with the deadbeat dude. I gotta ask
- 56:46Speaker 1: you why you were his side piece for a whole year.
- 56:49Speaker 1: He's thirty six. You guys live with his parents, but
- 56:53Speaker 1: before that, he lets you live in his car, and
- 56:57Speaker 1: you were okay with that. Like I said, a whole
- 57:01Speaker 1: bunch of crazy in this letter. That is crazy. I mean,
- 57:04Speaker 1: there's just so much going on you with the fighting
- 57:08Speaker 1: and the throwing, the beer on him in the club,
- 57:11Speaker 1: arguing in the club, then waiting for him to come
- 57:13Speaker 1: home at five am, throwing hot coffee on him. He
- 57:17Speaker 1: wasn't scalded and burned badly, him snatching your wig off.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I mean, it's just so much. I mean, why are
- 57:25Speaker 1: you guys even together? Why? Oh, that's right, you have
- 57:29Speaker 1: a baby together. You have a baby. Wow, this poor baby.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I tell you, what kind of example are you guys
- 57:37Speaker 1: setting for this baby? You guys are cheating on each other, sties.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Like I said in the picture, a mess, just just
- 57:44Speaker 1: a big old mess. I really feel sorry for the
- 57:47Speaker 1: baby though. And if you guys do not get yourselves together,
- 57:52Speaker 1: and you know, don't bank on him changing, because you
- 57:56Speaker 1: can only change yourself. Someone needs to be the mature
- 57:59Speaker 1: adult in this matter, someone and put the well being
- 58:03Speaker 1: of this baby as the top priority and stop with
- 58:06Speaker 1: this ridiculous, ridiculous behavior. I mean, I appreciate the grandparents
- 58:11Speaker 1: for letting you stay with them, giving the baby at
- 58:14Speaker 1: home and all of that, but you guys have to
- 58:16Speaker 1: do better than this. I mean, you know, are you
- 58:19Speaker 1: planning on staying together? You want to stay together? All
- 58:23Speaker 1: you can say is you know, we you love hard
- 58:26Speaker 1: This is a little bit more than love and hard.
- 58:28Speaker 1: This is some crazy, crazy, kind of sick kind of
- 58:32Speaker 1: love going on here. And I don't think you guys
- 58:35Speaker 1: need to be together with all of this because the
- 58:37Speaker 1: baby's going to grow up eventually and start seeing this.
- 58:41Speaker 1: You need some counseling. You guys don't need to be
- 58:44Speaker 1: together without that and doing better and getting better putting
- 58:48Speaker 1: in the work that needs change. Steve. Yeah, first of all,
- 58:53Speaker 1: let me just talk with you. People like this don't
- 58:55Speaker 1: go to counseling. They don't, but they need it. No,
- 58:59Speaker 1: people like this don't go to counselor. I don't recommend
- 59:04Speaker 1: they go to counseling because it's gonna give oh people
- 59:08Speaker 1: who need counseling a bad name. So stay y'all's ass
- 59:14Speaker 1: out of counseling because done. Nobody needs to be going
- 59:17Speaker 1: in behind y'all. See, because the patient that go in
- 59:21Speaker 1: after y'all, the therapist is gonna be so jacked up
- 59:26Speaker 1: from this ignat as story that they're not gonna be
- 59:29Speaker 1: able to help the patient after y'all. See, you can't
- 59:33Speaker 1: seeing everybody the therapy. Everybody can't go to therapy because
- 59:38Speaker 1: they give patience a bad name. These two ignat asks.
- 59:42Speaker 1: People don't need to go to therapy because whoever decline
- 59:47Speaker 1: is next day session ain't gonna be worth for damn. Now,
- 59:52Speaker 1: when I come back, I'm gonna read this letter. The
- 59:55Speaker 1: name of the letter is love can make You do
- 59:57Speaker 1: some crazy things. The name of the letter should be
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: everything wrong, cause ain't nobody right. All right, you heard it.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: love can make You do some crazy things. But Steve
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: changed it, and we'll talk about it when we come back. Right,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: everything wrong because ain't nobody right. That's it. You're listening
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to Harvey Morning Show. Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: strawberry letter. That's subject you got it, Go ahead. The
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: subject of the letters love can make you do some
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: crazy things. I've renamed the letter to it everything wrong
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: because ain't nobody right. Right now, I will just read
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: this letter back to y'all. Everything in this letter wrong,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: ain't nobody right. I'm a beautiful black, twenty nine year
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: old woman. I'm a twenty nine year old, beautiful for
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: old woman, and I don't know what's wrong with you?
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I'm in love with a deadbeat dude. Wrong, but I
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: don't know how to get him out of my system.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: It's called leaving. Okay, he's thirty six year old and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: we currently live with his parents. Wrong. The name of
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: his letter is everything wrong, because ain't nobody right? I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: was the side piece for a year? What wrong? So
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: he was married? You was the side piece for a year? Okay, wrong?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Here we go, y'all ready? Yeah? I got pregnant and
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: had nowhere to live, so he let me live it
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: his car. What wrong? You pregnant? Hey? I got an idea,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: stay in my car? Dog? What his parents found out
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: about me and they let me stay with them. Okay,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: that was the only right thing I saw on this letter.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: That was it. After that, let's get on back to
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: horse roll. Now he's divorced and our relationship is complicated. Wrong.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Your relationship was complicated when you was a side piece
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: for a year and got pregnant and he made you
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: live in the car, and then you moved in with
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: his parents while his ass was married. That's where it
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: got complicated. I found him at a bar with a
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: female recently, and I poured beer on him. Okay, that's fair.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Then he pulled my wig off in the middle of
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the ball. Now you roll for that dog. You good
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: in hair where you ain't puposed to pull a wig
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: on the middle of the ball. You know she had
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: a stocking cap on. See dog, that ain't that ain't
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: even right. So now here you find him with a woman,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: you throw bill on him. He pulled your wig off.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: We end up in the middle of the ball, argu
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Last week, he went out and came in at five
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: in the morning. I was waiting up with a hot
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: pot of coffee, okay. So you went in his mom
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: and them kitchen and made the coffee okay, And I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: dashed it on him when he walked in. So now
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you don't al greened his ass with coffee instead of grits. Okay,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I got you. We always forgive each other afterward. I'm
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: sorry I put them third degree birds on your baby. Baby.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry I snatched your wig off at the ball
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: while we was well, baby, I didn't mean to throw
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: that bill on you right there. I don't know, baby,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry I got you pregnant. You do kids. That's
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: a lot of damn apologizing. And we know we love hard.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: This ain't love. This why it's so hard. See when
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you hear people say we love hard, that ain't love.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Y'all fighting. I have lost myself in this relationship. This
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: is not a relationship, I notice. Is not how I'm
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: supposed to act. This ain't how you supposed to live.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: The worst part is I cheated on him whatever the
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: worst part. No, that ain't the worst part. The worst
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: part was when you was pregnant living in that car.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: That was the worst part. The other worst part when
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: he had his your wig in his hand in the
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: middle of that damn. It's a lot of worst parts
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: in this letter. It ain't that you cheated on him,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: trying to beat him at his own game and it
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: backfired because he go the worst hard. I ended up
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: with a sexually transmitted infection. I don't know what that is.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: That's STD. Don't try to change you had. That's as
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: no infection. That's a damn disease. That ain't corona, that's virus. Now, yeah,

- 1:05:23Speaker 1: it s t I. This ain't still. This is STUD.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Don't try to change this. That's the other worst part.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: My doctor said, my boyfriend could have given it to me.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Oh that's your out now, which is highly possible, and
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: that may be why my boyfriend getting to to upset

- 1:05:59Speaker 1: That's cool? Hey, baby? So what's for dinner? He keeps
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: saying he needs me to be patient with him and
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: give him one more chance. What he didn't flipped it
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: on you. I want my child to be with both
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: of his parents and his grandparents, so that's why he
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: left it. Do you think this relationship can do better?

- 1:09:27Speaker 1: one hundred days. Okay, we don't want to We can't
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: take four more minutes of it. We don't want you back.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, junior sports talk,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I said, a junior, an NBA player, left the bubble
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: in Orlando and went to Magic City in Atlanta. We'll
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: talk about it. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: All right, Junior, come on with your sports talk. Surely, Anne,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I told you this is not sports talk, but it's
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: just something we heard going on in sports. What we
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: have to that's all we got. We got no games
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: on son. You heard, all right? Louke Williams of the
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Los Angeles Clippers will have to quarantine for ten days
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: after he left Orlando, and get this, went to Atlanta
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: to go to Magic City. This boy here gonna throw
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: your whole career away behind Magic City. He had an
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: excused absence for a family matter. But when he got
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: back the NBA security asked lou where did you go?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: And then he just said Magic City to get something
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: to eat. That was it. And then then he said
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: and there were no performers there. No performers, wasn't now
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: no glitter, wasn't now had to say it was no
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: performance us had to say that. But why would they
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: be open under Steve. But there's no reason for a
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: strip club to be open to sell chicken wings that
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: ain't want to like their money. When he don't know
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: if no dancers are in Magic City, the kitchen help
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: will come out and dance for you. Why not the
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: same It's not the same, but you will get a
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: dance they get well. Rapper Jack Harlow Crazy rapper Jack
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Harlow posted a picture of lou but then deleted it,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: said it was an old picture of Loui and he
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: was just reminiscent. Now this sounds crazy. I don't know
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: he come on late. They already saw it, said Steve.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: So again, Luke got a quarantine for ten days and
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: we missed the first two games of the restart of
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: the season. That's uh July thirtieth, end of the the game
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: against the Lakers and the first game August first. He'd
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: been playing the New Orlean Pelicans. So that's what he did.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: That's what you know. All for them, Chicken waite and
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: chicken whine is strong the make. They are good. But
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: there's other places in Atlanta you can get way he got.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: He was in Orlando. You left Orlando. He went home first, y'all.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Man mad, but immediately bust the right to Magic City.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Hey man, gonna pull him. Let me go ahead and
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: get the win. I need what he good dozen, We
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: get the dozen he wants. He bought everybody win. I know.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Coacher's coach. Yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, man, that's your point guard. Yeah, man,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: he's two games. That's two. That's two games they're gonna
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: You have to think, man, you gotta think. It's consequences
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: behind everything. Man, that's probably the toughest lesson to learn
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: growing up. M Oh yeah, you're right, Stu, for all
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: of us. I mean that was that's a tough one
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: to learn. The consequence And the older you get, the
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: more severe the consequences. And that's the thing I try
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: to tell my kids. I say, hey, look, man, you're
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: gonna make mistakes in life. You're gonna make them till
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: you leave this earth. I just want you to know,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: the older you get, the more costly those mistakes costs.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: So you want to try to limit them. Now, families,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: you got all of that going on. They got to
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: drive you. You you shut up? Well it's crazy. Then
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I'm just saying they have a draft? Okay, okay? Does
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: does he have a new nickname? And wing man? I mean, hey, lou,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: you're running wing with anything if you ain't got them wings,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: not say if they change change the recipe to them
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: chicken wing, you would still say they were delicious for reasons.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: They can take wing stop wings in that which has
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: very little meat on them. Same response. They're not the same,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: They're not the same size. It was a hanging down. Well,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: thank you, junior. What time for the birthday? Girl? What

- 1:19:04Speaker 1: it up. The dude was saying the word from it.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I couldn't say it. Cut coming up. It's our last
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: break of the day. All right, magic one on phone
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: in out, in out. You don't stay Ustad, we need

- 1:19:42Speaker 1: here we are, guys, last break of the day on
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: this Monday. Yeah, it's got a good Monday off. Any
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: anytime you take the Monday, it's a good Monday. I

- 1:20:11Speaker 1: as usual, Um, as as as I promised I do. Um,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna do everything. We are going to do
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: everything in our power to get all of our listeners,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: every last one of them, to the polls. And as
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: you go, I want you to make sure that you
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: take five people. Look, man, we cannot afford to miss
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: this opportunity to so to show Congressman John Lewis, that
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: we appreciate all he did for voting rights, for the
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Civil Rights Act, that we are going to show all
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: of the people Rosa Parks, Mary Luther King, who gave you,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: who put it on the line for us, the all
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: of our ancestors in the years before, just so we
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: could vote. This is a critical election you all. Staying
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: at home is not the way to do it. Staying
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: at home will only give this man four more years.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: We cannot afford four more years of this guy, because
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I think that he will forever change the way politics
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: is done if we allow him for more. Because the
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: all he's gonna do is create another impostor. Someone is
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: watching what he's doing, someone has watching all the stuff
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: he's gotten away with, and we're gonna have a worst
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: president than that if we don't stop this type of
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: type of behaviors as we see it, If you let
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: him get back in office, what it says to that
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: young senator out there that is looking at the president saying, Wow,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: when I get in there, I'm gonna do this, this
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: and this then, But if he don't get re elect
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: that that will send a clear message to them. No,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: if we see this, we're gonna We're gonna rescind it.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: We've got to get to the polls and vote. Man.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: This is such a very, very important election. We are
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: one hundred days away from the election, just one hundred
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: We have got to vote. Go to when we all vote,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: when we all vote, dot org and register to vote.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: There are some states where you can start early voting.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Right now. We're gonna be giving this information out, but
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: listen to me, man, We've got to vote people. We've
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: got to take all this. Do you see what's happening
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: in im Portland. Those aren't massive numbers of black people.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Those are non African Americans protesting. Do you see what's
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: happening in Major League Baseball? Do you see them kneeling
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: before the Star Spangled back? Do you see before the
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: national anthem? Do you see them holding head? Do you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: see what's happening in the w NBA. Did you see
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: what's happening in the soccer leagues around the world? Do
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: you see what people are doing on our behalf. We've
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: got to take it across the finish line and finish
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: the job. This should not being more important to them
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: than it is to us. Can't nobody be hustling on
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: this issue harder than us. We've got to out hustle
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: everybody on this issue so we can turn these protests
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: into policy. And the only way to turn this into policy,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: we got to vote these people out of here man,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: these people in here man that don't really care about us.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: President Trump said he's done more for black people than
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: any other president other than maybe Abraham Lincoln. Do you
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: know how ignorant that statement is to make to black people,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Like the last time someone has done something really big
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: for you was they freed you. What do you understand
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: what he's saying and me giving you prison reform, I'm
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: helping you fight for your rights, sir, do Why do
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: we have to fight for our rights? That's what's wrong.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Don't you get it? The system is jacked. If we
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: have to fight for our rights, why are we fighting
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: for something we should already have? When you make that statement,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: when black people have to tell you that we're fighting
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: for our rights, that's an injustice right there. We shouldn't
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: have to have to fight for some rights. Just rights, man.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: The right to the pursuit of happiness, the right to
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: vote without obstruction, the right to live where we want to, live,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: go to school where we want to go. Man, those
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: are just basic human rights. We have to re up
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: on the Voters Rights Act. Do you know that that's
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: up again? The Voting Right Act is up again? Are
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you kidding me? We're waiting on the Senate House to
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: bring that to the floor to pass the Voting Rights
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Act again. Why do we have to keep passing the
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: damn Act for us to be able to vote? Are
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: you kidding me? Y'all? We got to vote, man, We
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: have to vote. Brothers, sisters, we have to vote. We
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: didn't protest it, we didn't done everything. It's time to
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: push these people. We got to show them our power.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Black lives matter. But they'll really believe they matter when
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: they see us at the polls. Oh, when you hit
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: them in the pocket, when you hit them in a
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: position of power, when you start threatening that you have
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: the undivided attention. When we all vote dot org, go today.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: If you're not sure, if you registered, go today. When
