- 1:46Speaker 2: Wad of the monja.
- 1:48Speaker 7: Look, come.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Come on, you're thinking, get it?
- 2:00Speaker 7: Ah, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 7: the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Man, oh man, oh man.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 7: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 7: me is overwhelming at times. And I want everybody to
- 2:23Speaker 7: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:27Speaker 7: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:30Speaker 7: it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:33Speaker 7: formed a relationship with my creator.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Period.
- 2:36Speaker 7: That's it. That's that's it. I can't tell you as
- 2:40Speaker 7: anything else else. You know, I've always had a strong
- 2:43Speaker 7: work ethic. My father put that in me. My father's
- 2:46Speaker 7: conversation with me growing up was always constantly about work hard,
- 2:51Speaker 7: don't be lazy, be a man, do what you say
- 2:53Speaker 7: you're gonna do. YadA YadA, YadA, YadA YadA. Man, I
- 2:56Speaker 7: was so tired of my father at times. I was going, Man,
- 2:59Speaker 7: what is this dude right here? Man, every time we
- 3:02Speaker 7: have a conversation, it's got to be about work. It's
- 3:05Speaker 7: got to be about you know, man, doing your best,
- 3:08Speaker 7: trying hard, you know, working, being honest, do what you
- 3:12Speaker 7: say you're gonna do.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But that was his mission. I can't tell you how
- 3:17Speaker 2: much I appreciate that now.
- 3:20Speaker 7: I can't even I can't even put it into words
- 3:22Speaker 7: when I think about my old man and what he
- 3:26Speaker 7: was to me, and I just, man, I'm so grateful
- 3:31Speaker 7: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:33Speaker 7: my father was a fighter. He fought on the weekends.
- 3:38Speaker 8: You know.
- 3:39Speaker 7: My father used to come home with his clothes toe
- 3:42Speaker 7: off of him. He put a fresh shirt on, and
- 3:45Speaker 7: he go back. My mom used to talk about my
- 3:47Speaker 7: father fighting all the time, slick, while you are always fighting.
- 3:51Speaker 7: You know, a little bit of that rubbed off on
- 3:53Speaker 7: me too.
- 3:54Speaker 8: You know.
- 3:54Speaker 7: That kind of got into me and I didn't understand
- 3:57Speaker 7: that either. But then on the same turn, my mother
- 4:00Speaker 7: was a Sunday school teacher for forty years, so her
- 4:03Speaker 7: conversation was never about fighting or anything. It was all
- 4:06Speaker 7: about love and understanding and doing another that you would
- 4:09Speaker 7: have to do unto you. My mom was a Sunday
- 4:11Speaker 7: school teacher, so I learned about faith. I had to
- 4:14Speaker 7: go to Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting,
- 4:18Speaker 7: choir rehearsal.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You know, I was a church man so much.
- 4:21Speaker 7: I was actually looking as there's got to be an
- 4:23Speaker 7: alternative to this, you know, I want you know, And
- 4:27Speaker 7: I was a little kid even I was thinking at
- 4:29Speaker 7: one point, maybe I ought to look into Hell because
- 4:31Speaker 7: there's got to be something cooler than this going on
- 4:34Speaker 7: every day.
- 4:35Speaker 2: It had got that crazy for me. But the balance
- 4:38Speaker 2: between those two people created who I am today. And
- 4:42Speaker 2: I want you to understand that the things that you
- 4:45Speaker 2: are in your past have helped create who you are today.
- 4:49Speaker 2: If you view it the right way, everything that has
- 4:53Speaker 2: happened to you in your past has happened to you
- 4:56Speaker 2: for a reason, and it's usually for the good if
- 5:01Speaker 2: you view it that way.
- 5:04Speaker 7: But if you, on the other hand, are a type
- 5:07Speaker 7: of person who can't move forward because you are allowing
- 5:10Speaker 7: your past to stop you from having your future, then
- 5:15Speaker 7: you my friend, are doing a disservice to your life.
- 5:20Speaker 7: You are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking
- 5:24Speaker 7: advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life. Example,
- 5:33Speaker 7: if you are a woman and you are always talking
- 5:38Speaker 7: about a former relationship, what he did to me. If
- 5:43Speaker 7: he had not did this to me, I wouldn't be
- 5:47Speaker 7: in this place today. I thought I had a man.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Now I ain't got no man. Ah lah lah lah
- 5:55Speaker 7: la la if I you know, he came along and
- 5:59Speaker 7: I was doing just swell. He just came in and
- 6:02Speaker 7: he just lied to me. He lied to me.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Now he did this to me. Then he cheated, then
- 6:09Speaker 2: he left. All of that that you're saying can very
- 6:12Speaker 2: well be true. Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere
- 6:21Speaker 2: in God's infinite wisdom, that he knew that you had
- 6:26Speaker 2: made a mistake in picking him anyway? Maybe he knew
- 6:32Speaker 2: you had made a mistake in saying yes or I
- 6:35Speaker 2: do to him anyway, or come on move in? And
- 6:41Speaker 2: so what he did was.
- 6:44Speaker 7: Based on your decision now to say yes, I do
- 6:48Speaker 7: or come on let's move in together.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That was your decision. You ain't go to him about
- 6:52Speaker 2: this one. You made this decision.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Based on that decision and all the negative things that
- 6:59Speaker 7: started happening, he allowed you to get away from it.
- 7:03Speaker 7: Now how you got away from it, It's always not
- 7:07Speaker 7: the choice of ours. See, you stuck on the fact
- 7:11Speaker 7: that he left, that he walked out. But let me
- 7:14Speaker 7: share this with you. When he was there, how good
- 7:17Speaker 7: was he?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Tell you?
- 7:18Speaker 7: How good was he for you? See, you got to
- 7:22Speaker 7: stare at you got to look at the blessing. The
- 7:25Speaker 7: blessing is. Now you are on your own. Now you
- 7:29Speaker 7: walk in your house. Ain't nobody in there with a
- 7:32Speaker 7: disruptive spirit.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Now you go home. You could take your clothes off,
- 7:36Speaker 2: walk around like you want to.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Now you go home, you can sit down and look
- 7:41Speaker 7: at TV or catch your breath if you want to.
- 7:46Speaker 7: Your kids don't have to see y'all arguing all the time.
- 7:50Speaker 7: Have you looked at the blessing in it? But now
- 7:53Speaker 7: if you gonna keep looking at the negative, then guess what.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Now you can't move forward because you keep allowing your
- 8:02Speaker 7: past to keep you from moving forward. If God has
- 8:06Speaker 7: brought you through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 7: you got through it. He gone, he ain't coming back.
- 8:14Speaker 7: He got somebody else. So you gonna sit there and
- 8:17Speaker 7: just keep tripping couts. He gone and he got somebody else. Hey,
- 8:22Speaker 7: pick yourself up. Thank God for the blessing. It didn't
- 8:26Speaker 7: feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 7: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:31Speaker 7: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:34Speaker 7: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:36Speaker 7: one being left. You ain't the first one being divorced.
- 8:40Speaker 7: You ain't the first one been in a bad relationship.
- 8:42Speaker 7: Pick yourself up, Thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:47Speaker 7: forward in your life, because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:52Speaker 7: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:56Speaker 7: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 7: can't give it to you if you ain't grateful. So
- 9:02Speaker 7: God gives you a blessing, but because you don't see
- 9:04Speaker 7: it as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now,
- 9:07Speaker 7: guess what, You steady asking God to do something for you,
- 9:11Speaker 7: but you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:14Speaker 7: but you steady wanting him to do more.
- 9:16Speaker 2: How does that work? How does that work?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Man?
- 9:20Speaker 7: That He should keep on giving you things when you
- 9:22Speaker 7: ain't even working with the stuff he didne gave you
- 9:26Speaker 7: and I don't know. And I'm just using that one example.
- 9:29Speaker 7: It could go for me and too, vice versa, and
- 9:32Speaker 7: so on and so forth. I'm just using that as
- 9:34Speaker 7: an example. Now, why I laid on that one so long?
- 9:38Speaker 7: You have to take that over God, That's all just sweet.
- 9:41Speaker 7: I ain't pointing fingers at nobody in nothing because I've
- 9:44Speaker 7: been guilty on both sides of the coin.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Who am I?
- 9:48Speaker 7: But I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:51Speaker 7: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:54Speaker 7: interfere with my future.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. Without further ado, it is time.

- 10:31Speaker 7: daril comness. We come to you with the intention of informatization.

- 11:13Speaker 7: to sign like it's one. I said, Look here, welcome
- 11:20Speaker 7: to the badest morning show in the lad I know
- 11:28Speaker 7: there's others, but them as imitations. I know folks with
- 11:35Speaker 7: radio shows, but they ain't got us on it. I
- 11:40Speaker 7: know of some shows I think is pretty good myself.
- 11:47Speaker 7: If I had a radio and I had turned to
- 11:51Speaker 7: one station, come on, I would pick the same one
- 11:56Speaker 7: you just picked.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Ye know, you picked it because I'm on it and
- 12:03Speaker 2: you hear me.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Like I said, other choices, But why make the wrong
- 12:10Speaker 7: choice every day? That's right, that's knowing that we are
- 12:15Speaker 7: here and they are there, ladies and gentlemen. Let me

- 13:29Speaker 7: it ain't no exit. So we own the road and

- 16:41Speaker 8: God bless you. Don't throw God. You don't want God
- 16:44Speaker 8: bless me because you're talking too crazy to me. That's
- 16:47Speaker 8: for starters right there. But since you're talking crazy to me.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Let me turn you onto something you want that running game.
- 16:53Speaker 8: That's your problem.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Run your game.

- 17:08Speaker 8: it about you, man, see on how you want to
- 17:10Speaker 8: feel about me. But what you ain't gonna do, though,
- 17:13Speaker 8: is talk to me like you Clay, because I ain't plaiting.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Minute, Steve. Let's make the player feel fair. Okay. You
- 17:18Speaker 4: got the airways, you got the microphone, you got the
- 17:21Speaker 4: ability to touch a lot of people. Okay, and you're
- 17:24Speaker 4: just telling you're gonna walking talking on.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Hold on, hold up.
- 17:27Speaker 8: This ain't got nothing to do with the airways.
- 17:29Speaker 5: This ain't got nothing to do with the media.
- 17:30Speaker 8: This just me and you talking. I talk to you personally, personally,
- 17:36Speaker 8: me and you can talk anybody a little.

- 17:43Speaker 4: This yet see his people like you?
- 17:45Speaker 8: Man, dog, You know why I wrote a book in
- 17:47Speaker 8: the first place, because you always somewhere trying to act
- 17:50Speaker 8: like you something that you in now you got the
- 17:52Speaker 8: sauce on the phone. Now you're trying to make you
- 17:54Speaker 8: about money into me. This just me and you, just
- 17:56Speaker 8: two men talking not what you want and if it's
- 17:59Speaker 8: too men.
- 18:00Speaker 4: And then talking in from one man to another. Why
- 18:02Speaker 4: don't you just go somewhere and sit down and quit telling?
- 18:05Speaker 8: First of all, I ain't even got to sit down.
- 18:07Speaker 8: You already doing nothing as it is.
- 18:09Speaker 12: See the shore.
- 18:10Speaker 8: Did somebody go out and do something? Try to do
- 18:13Speaker 8: something positive? You got some mother shaking big shimmy wab
- 18:17Speaker 8: like you sitting up in here, man wanting to go
- 18:19Speaker 8: sit down somewhere. I ain't going sitting down nowhere. You
- 18:23Speaker 8: can mention me with that. I say what I want
- 18:25Speaker 8: to say.
- 18:26Speaker 4: And how are you anyway?
- 18:27Speaker 8: You ain't even doing nothing?
- 18:29Speaker 4: They wan't tell me I ain't doing nothing. I tell
- 18:30Speaker 4: you what I am doing. I'm trying to do something.
- 18:33Speaker 4: And every time I take a step, you take two steps.
- 18:35Speaker 8: I can't long hand hand hold many y'alla kill me.
- 18:41Speaker 8: Why don't you quit trying and do something? You wanna
- 18:43Speaker 8: feel me?
- 18:44Speaker 4: Man?
- 18:44Speaker 8: With that on you trying to do something? Why don't
- 18:46Speaker 8: you do something?
- 18:47Speaker 4: Thog?
- 18:48Speaker 8: You sitting up in here talking to me about what
- 18:50Speaker 8: you trying. You try to sell in that same thing
- 18:52Speaker 8: to your people.
- 18:53Speaker 4: You trying?
- 18:54Speaker 8: What are you gonna tied me in trying stuff? When
- 18:56Speaker 8: you gonna do something.
- 18:58Speaker 4: I'm doing something right now, staying me on the plow.
- 19:01Speaker 5: You cann be improving your.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Relationship with your girl or whoever you're trying to get
- 19:05Speaker 8: it together with. But you're on the phone with me
- 19:07Speaker 8: complaining because I done wrote a book. Man, don't read them,
- 19:10Speaker 8: but you probably ain't read it no way, and don't
- 19:12Speaker 8: watch the TV show. You probably ain't work them enough.
- 19:15Speaker 5: To play the bill.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Nohow I look, wait a minute, Joe. You don't know
- 19:18Speaker 4: nothing about me. Okay, you don't know nothing about my finances.
- 19:21Speaker 8: You know what I mean about your finances. That's about
- 19:24Speaker 8: you as a man.
- 19:28Speaker 12: Man.

- 44:34Speaker 19: When old people say one in the hand beat two
- 44:36Speaker 19: in the bush, what does that mean?

- 47:08Speaker 20: He's not here.
- 47:09Speaker 5: Okay. I'm calling from from the clinic, from doctor Robert's
- 47:12Speaker 5: office and trying to get some information to him. When
- 47:15Speaker 5: do you know when he actually be in? No?
- 47:17Speaker 20: Actually I don't. Is everything okay?
- 47:21Speaker 5: Uh? Well, you know, everything's fine. I mean nothing that
- 47:23Speaker 5: can't be handled. But we were trying to actually get

- 47:29Speaker 5: back in for the results.
- 47:31Speaker 20: Okay, well I don't I don't know when I can.
- 47:34Speaker 20: He's supposed to be here now, I'm not sure when

- 47:40Speaker 5: I'm sorry I didn't ask you earlier. Man, who am
- 47:42Speaker 5: I actually speaking with?

- 48:05Speaker 5: an answer. I don't have another number on hand. Do
- 48:08Speaker 5: you have any specific time I can actually call back
- 48:10Speaker 5: and maybe I'll get him again?
- 48:13Speaker 20: You're making my stomach is getting nervous right now?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Is what is the problem?
- 48:17Speaker 5: Well, actually you know what is man as mister Rogers
- 48:21Speaker 5: came in for h to take a few tests, and
- 48:23Speaker 5: he took some tests and we actually have the results
- 48:25Speaker 5: in and we'd actually really like for him to come back.
- 48:27Speaker 20: I don't know anything about it. I didn't mean to
- 48:29Speaker 20: interrupt you, but I don't know anything about any tests.
- 48:31Speaker 20: He hasn't told me anything about going to a clinic
- 48:34Speaker 20: or anything like that. I see, So what kind of
- 48:37Speaker 20: tests are you talking about?
- 48:38Speaker 5: Well, I mean, I'm not really not at liberty to
- 48:40Speaker 5: give you any kind of information unless you're actually on
- 48:42Speaker 5: the paperwork. So you know, it's not even something that
- 48:45Speaker 5: I can discuss unless the patient has signed off that
- 48:48Speaker 5: you are the next of Ken or the person that
- 48:50Speaker 5: can we can actually give the information to you.
- 48:52Speaker 20: You do it, I know you, I do, and I'm
- 48:55Speaker 20: pretty certain, I mean, the way we operate in this household,
- 48:58Speaker 20: I'm pretty certain that that I'm on the paperwork.
- 49:01Speaker 5: So would we pull up Roger's stuff on computer here
- 49:05Speaker 5: and I'll see what I give me one second? Please sure? Okay, Okay,
- 49:10Speaker 5: let's see now, let me scroll down for next to Ken. Okay,

- 49:23Speaker 5: Mark? Mark? Like I said, I'm the clerk here at
- 49:25Speaker 5: doctor Robert Offers, and I guess I am at liberty
- 49:28Speaker 5: to tell you what's going on?
- 49:29Speaker 20: Please do?
- 49:30Speaker 5: Mister Roger came in and took some STD test STD yes,
- 49:36Speaker 5: And I guess at this point I should just maybe
- 49:38Speaker 5: both of you guys would come in and wait, wait everybody, everybody, wait.
- 49:44Speaker 20: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I need you
- 49:46Speaker 20: to finish what you were just saying.
- 49:47Speaker 5: Well, no, that's what I'm saying.
- 49:48Speaker 4: Man.
- 49:49Speaker 5: What has happened is he's been diagnosed with as well as.
- 49:54Speaker 20: You got to be kidding me.
- 49:56Speaker 1: You have got to be kidding me.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Okay, I'm not hearing I am.
- 50:01Speaker 20: That means you stand what that means. Do you understand
- 50:05Speaker 20: that he lives in my household? Do you understand that
- 50:07Speaker 20: that means that he has been dipping somewhere else? Because
- 50:10Speaker 20: I have been not doing anything that would even come
- 50:14Speaker 20: close to bringing something to him like that. So it's
- 50:16Speaker 20: how parents that this man has been outside of my
- 50:19Speaker 20: household and do it when he has no business doing it,
- 50:22Speaker 20: and bring.
- 50:22Speaker 6: It back in.
- 50:23Speaker 5: Man, I'm not at liberty and making any accusations like that.
- 50:26Speaker 5: I cannot say anything like that. All I can say
- 50:28Speaker 5: is I'd like for both of you, you know, it'd
- 50:30Speaker 5: be good for both of you guys to come in.
- 50:32Speaker 5: They want to tell you though, this is something treatable.
- 50:35Speaker 5: It is curable.
- 50:36Speaker 20: I don't care about it being treatable or curable. What
- 50:39Speaker 20: I care about is the fact that he apparently has
- 50:42Speaker 20: been somewhere with some trick and brought something back home
- 50:45Speaker 20: to my household. That's what I care about.
- 50:48Speaker 5: I do understand that, missus Janis. I do, but you
- 50:51Speaker 5: have to understand my position and what I'm trying to do.
- 50:53Speaker 5: I'm just reaching out and well, listen, you.
- 50:56Speaker 20: Happen to call my household, you just have to have
- 50:58Speaker 20: to be on the on the other side of it.
- 51:00Speaker 20: I'm sorry you're getting most of it, but I tell
- 51:02Speaker 20: you what what you need to do is you need
- 51:04Speaker 20: to make him an appointment and I will meet him there.
- 51:07Speaker 5: He will be wait wait, wait, wait a minute, wait
- 51:10Speaker 5: a minute. I'm sorry.
- 51:11Speaker 20: You need to make him an appointment to come out
- 51:13Speaker 20: to take a look at these results you're talking about.
- 51:16Speaker 20: And guess who will show up at the door before
- 51:18Speaker 20: he gets there.
- 51:19Speaker 5: Me, That's what I mean, Mexican. Better for you just
- 51:23Speaker 5: mess it to tell him.

- 51:26Speaker 4: a plan you need.
- 51:27Speaker 20: To give him. You need to give him a call
- 51:29Speaker 20: and to give you a sel phone number.
- 51:31Speaker 5: You have a man, Yes, I have a pick. Okay,

- 56:33Speaker 1: buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 56:35Speaker 1: you here.
- 56:36Speaker 13: It is the Strawberry Letter, subject one husband, three men.
- 56:41Speaker 13: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for twelve years, and
- 56:44Speaker 13: I've cheated on my husband for the past five years.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Five years.
- 56:50Speaker 13: My husband is a bit older than I am, and
- 56:52Speaker 13: he can't always satisfy me like he used to, so
- 56:56Speaker 13: I got addicted to stepping out on him. The thrill
- 56:59Speaker 13: of the affair is what excited me at first, but
- 57:02Speaker 13: then when I realized my husband no longer cared, it
- 57:05Speaker 13: became part of my lifestyle. I just turned forty five,
- 57:09Speaker 13: and I think I am going through a midlife crisis
- 57:12Speaker 13: because one man isn't enough and I like them young.
- 57:15Speaker 13: I am not sleeping around, though I have two consistent
- 57:20Speaker 13: men on the side that I have sex with. I
- 57:23Speaker 13: didn't want any parts of an older man anymore, so
- 57:26Speaker 13: one of my side men is thirty five and the
- 57:29Speaker 13: other one is twenty nine, and he is my hairstylist.
- 57:33Speaker 13: The thirty five year old just got married and his
- 57:35Speaker 13: wife is bipolar and won't take her medicine, so he
- 57:38Speaker 13: wasn't getting any sex at home. The twenty nine year
- 57:41Speaker 13: old is my baby, and he's very special because I
- 57:45Speaker 13: have taught him a lot. I taught him how to
- 57:47Speaker 13: save money, decorated his place, and how to properly make
- 57:51Speaker 13: love to a grown woman. He is the one that
- 57:54Speaker 13: is falling for me and I am very fond of him.
- 57:58Speaker 13: But if I got divorced, he wouldn't be my first choice.
- 58:01Speaker 13: The thirty five year old would. So I thought I
- 58:04Speaker 13: would shake things up and tell my husband I'm not
- 58:07Speaker 13: happy and we might need to get a divorce. He said,
- 58:10Speaker 13: he's no fool and can tell I'm getting sex elsewhere,
- 58:14Speaker 13: so he'd like for me to just be respectful if
- 58:16Speaker 13: I'm going to do it, and not let anyone else
- 58:19Speaker 13: know what's going on. That made me suspect. That made
- 58:23Speaker 13: me suspect, and now I'm thinking he might be messing
- 58:26Speaker 13: around on me. I asked him a million times if
- 58:29Speaker 13: he's cheating, and he had a smirk on his face
- 58:31Speaker 13: and said, no. What if he lied about having ed
- 58:35Speaker 13: and he has a mistress, should I confess to see
- 58:37Speaker 13: if he will? Please advise? What do you want us
- 58:42Speaker 13: to advise you on? Really, I really don't think you
- 58:46Speaker 13: want an answer. I don't think you care, or I
- 58:49Speaker 13: just think you're enjoying your cheating life so much right now.
- 58:53Speaker 13: You haven't cared about your husband or what he's doing
- 58:56Speaker 13: for the last five years. What's changed the fact that
- 59:00Speaker 13: he might be cheating too, and the fact that he
- 59:03Speaker 13: didn't give you any problem, any clap back when you
- 59:06Speaker 13: said you might want a divorce, Well, isn't that interesting?
- 59:11Speaker 13: I think, my honest opinion is that you don't give
- 59:13Speaker 13: a darn one way or the other. You tried to
- 59:16Speaker 13: test the waters on divorced, as you say, and found
- 59:19Speaker 13: out that your husband like cool, just be respectful, not
- 59:24Speaker 13: a problem. Who does that anyway? Play with divorce like that?
- 59:29Speaker 13: I mean, you've been cheating on him with not one,
- 59:32Speaker 13: but two men. But you say you're not sleeping around.
- 59:35Speaker 13: How could you even put that line in this letter?
- 59:37Speaker 13: You're not sleeping around. That's exactly what you're doing. What
- 59:41Speaker 13: do you think sleeping around is?
- 59:43Speaker 1: Is not okay?
- 59:44Speaker 13: And what you're doing is trifling. And now you're feeling
- 59:47Speaker 13: some kind of way because your husband didn't put up
- 59:50Speaker 13: a fight. You need to divorce him because.
- 59:52Speaker 1: You don't love him.
- 59:53Speaker 13: And you said in the letter you're addicted to the
- 59:56Speaker 13: thrill of an affair and all of that, and your
- 1:00:00Speaker 13: husband doesn't excite you anymore?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: What are you holding on for?
- 1:00:03Speaker 13: I just think you should go ahead put each other
- 1:00:05Speaker 13: out of your misery. That way you can cheat freely,
- 1:00:08Speaker 13: and maybe your husband can be happy with someone else,
- 1:00:11Speaker 13: because it's certainly not you. Steve.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: Again, we're at one of these letters. The subject is
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: one husband, three men. We're at this letter where I
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: really and I could tell by Shirley's response, and I'm
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: just gonna speak freely for Shirley.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: We really don't give up. We don't thank you.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: About you your problem, this letter, the outcome what you
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: want us to tell Like Shirley said, what do you
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: want us to tell you?
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: What?
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: You're just so full of?
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: You've been married twelve years, You've cheated on your husband
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: the past five already. Don't nobody like you that's listening
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: to the show right now. Just be clear about that.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: My husband is a bit older than I am, and
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: he can't always satisfy me like he used to, so
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: I got addicted to stepping out on him. This women
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: sitting the pre going trick sit show behind down somewhere,
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: But oh no, the thrill of the fast what excited
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: me at first, But then I realized my husband no
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: longer cared.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: It became a part of my lifestyle.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: I just turned forty five, and you think I'm going
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: through a mid life crisis because one man isn't enough
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: and I like him young. I'm not sleeping around though
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: I have two consistent men on the side that I
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: have sex with.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: How could she even put that?
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: She didn't even read her whole letter.
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: Up, Yeah, Shirley said when she responded to this, how
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: could you even put this in the same sentence? I
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: had have two men, consistent men on the side that
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: I have sex with.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I'm not sleeping around. Well, I'm so confused.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: Now, because see, it's gonna be hard for us to
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: help you because you don't you don't think there's a problem.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: You just said you're not sleeping around. But you have
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: three men, and you having consistent sex with two of them,
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: and if your husband could perform, that would be three.
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: But you say you're not sleeping around, Well, what is
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: you doing?
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: What is this?
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: What's happening? You know, y'all have redefined everything.
- 1:02:52Speaker 13: Hold on, hold on, We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:02:56Speaker 13: responds coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:00Speaker 13: Today's strawberry letter, subject one husband, three men. We'll get
- 1:03:03Speaker 13: back into it right after this.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:13Speaker 13: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's beautiful strawberry
- 1:03:17Speaker 13: letter and finish up with your response the subject my husband,
- 1:03:22Speaker 13: one husband, three men.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Don't nobody give it about this lady?
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: In this letter, she been married twelve years, been cheating
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: on her husband for five of the years because he's
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: older than her, he can't satisfy her like he used to.
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: At the end of the letter, she says is that
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: he has he lied about having ed erecht tyle dysfunction.
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: So you got addicted to stepping out on in the
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: thrill of the affairs? What excited you? And you made
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: it a part of your lifestyle when you find out
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: your husband didn't care. I turned forty five, and I
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: think I'm going through midlife crisis because one man isn't
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: enough and I like him young. I'm not sleeping around
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: though I have two consistent men on the side that
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: I have sex with, But you're not sleeping round?
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: What is this? What is this?
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: I'm sick of y'all.
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: New people always readefining something? What y'all doing?
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: You got a husband, you got two consistent me in
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: one thirty five, thirty nine, the other one twenty nine,
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: and you had consistent sex with it, but you're not
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: sleeping round? Is this is this called and entanglement?
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Is that what this is?
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: I'm trying to understand what it is because y'all keep
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: redefining stuff that's been the same for a long time.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: Y'all stupid, And I'm sick of this stupid letter. I
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: don't want any parts of an older man anymore. So
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: one of my side men is thirty five and the
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: other one it's twenty nine, and he's my half stylist.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: The thirty five year old just got married and his
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: wife is bipolar and won't take her medicine, so he
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: wasn't getting any sex at home. Well, what he just
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: maryed for? She ain't just become bipolar, So now what
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: he maryed for? And now he's telling you she won't
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: take him mad?
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: So they ain't having sex?
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: What?
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: And they just got married?
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: Lady, yaw you kidding me? You gotta be stupid. So
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: now and then the twenty nine year old is my
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: baby and He's very special because I've taught him a lot.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: I taught him how to have saved money, decorate this place,
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: and how to properly make love to a grown woman.
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: He's the one for falling for me, and I'm very
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: fond of him. But if I got divorced, he wouldn't
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: be my first choice. The thirty five year old would
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: all right, let me, let me, let me walk this
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: back for you, trying to make some sense out of that.
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: You're old, you forty five. Don't need one of them men,
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: won't you. The twenty nine year old is falling for
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: you because you can do some things and teach him
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: some things. As soon as he get good at how
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: to make love and take care of an older woman.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: And once he get his house decorated, and he gonna
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: go get him a young chick to put in there.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: And it ain't finna be you. The thirty five year
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: old not Finn to leave his bipolar his wife because
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: she ain't bipolar. They just gotten married and they having sex,
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: unlike you think, ain't neither one of them won't shoot,
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: And don't you know that both of them know you married.
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: So now I've never met a guy that took a
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: married woman that he was the side piece of I
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: haven't met him yet, and made her his wife.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I haven't met him. I'm sure they're out there and
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: there are some stories. But Tommy, have you met one
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: of your boys he's done this one yet?
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Junior? You know any of your partners to pull this off?
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Sir, I got a lot of homies, man, I'm sixty five.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: I know a lot of dudes. Man, I don't know
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: no dude that done done this though. I don't know
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: who you think you are, but it ain't. I don't
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: know no dude.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Then pull this move on now.
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: So I thought I would shake things up and tell
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: my husband I'm not happy and we might need to
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: get a divorce. He said, he's no fool and can
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: tell you that you're getting sex ex to. So he's
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: just like for you to be respectful if I'm gonna
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: do it and not let anybody know what's going on.
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: That made me suspect, and now I think he might
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: be messing around on me.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: And if he is, so what you got.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: Two other men that you're consistently having sex with that
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: you say you're not sleeping around, So I don't even
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: understand what the suspicion is about. I've asked him a
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: million times if he's cheating, and he had a smirk
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: on his face and said no, now here. How stupid
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: you are, which makes the letter super stupid. What if
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: he lied about having ed and has a mistress? Should
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: I confess to see if he will?
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: You?
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: Stupid? You so stupid lady. A lie of stupid stuff
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: in this letter. But it ain't finna be that one though.
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: I can tell you that right now. Ain't no way
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: he's fit to confess.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: At me to something that he's not even been busted
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: or accused of.
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: Stop now, that's stupid, girls.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Stop.
- 1:08:44Speaker 18: Thanks.

- 1:09:35Speaker 7: Well, I'm gonna lead you. What you ain't finna do
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: is I'll do me. You can have that a divorce.

- 1:09:49Speaker 7: oh you're gonna get somebody new.

- 1:10:03Speaker 13: All right, guys, here's something we saw on Facebook. Now,
- 1:10:11Speaker 13: there was a boss who asked five coworkers who were
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: in a meeting if they had any spare change.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: So this guy said.
- 1:10:18Speaker 13: My friend was about to reach into his pocket and
- 1:10:21Speaker 13: a coworker grabbed his hand.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: To quickly step to quietly stop him from offering change.
- 1:10:26Speaker 13: A different coworker who was eager to kiss but said, hey,
- 1:10:30Speaker 13: I have eighty cents. The boss said, great, I heard
- 1:10:34Speaker 13: your change jingling throughout the meeting. Please don't bring any
- 1:10:37Speaker 13: change into the meetings anymore.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, So Steve, I got to ask you.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I know you have a crazy horrible boss story. I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: know you do.
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: Please, yes, I mean you know, just in my life
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: I thought, oh my bosses was horrible, because first of all,
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: my problem.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: Yeah, every last one.
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: I never none of my boss because I didn't I
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: didn't think none of them should be in charge of me.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: That was my whole.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I had this, I had. I had a boss
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: named Bob Cook and Cleaveland at D and H.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: He was.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: He was chastising me one time because he didn't like
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: the way I had unloaded this truck with the tobol.
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: So he pulls me in the office to talk to me.
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: Little fat, little dude, real big at someone. He leaned back,
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: had his foot up on the desk. He said to me,
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: you know something, Harvey, if you could just change your
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: work habits. I've been at this company thirty years. If
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: you following my footsteps.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: You could be me. One day, whoa that.
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: I got up and was walking out that door. He said,
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: where are you going? I said, man, I don't want
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: to be you, and walked out that door and shut
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: that door. Two weeks later, I was gone, okay, yeah,
- 1:11:58Speaker 7: that cost me right there. I walk out moment shut
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: the door. I said, man, I don't want to be you.
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: I worked at the Gap. I worked at the Gap,
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: and I'm a neat I'm a neat.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Fanatic, y'all.
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: Know that.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: So my job was just suret su baby cap.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I worked at the gap. I'm over the sweat wall.
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: I got the sweat wall, imcul and I mean everything
- 1:12:25Speaker 11: folded just it's picture perfect. And I got into it
- 1:12:28Speaker 11: with a customer that just started pulling stuff out the
- 1:12:30Speaker 11: sweat wall, trying to try and stuff and just yanking
- 1:12:32Speaker 11: stuff out. And the manager came up and said, hey,
- 1:12:35Speaker 11: you just do what you're supposed to do. You fix
- 1:12:37Speaker 11: it and you put it back. I said, what the
- 1:12:39Speaker 11: hell you talking to? I had this wall perfect over here,
- 1:12:42Speaker 11: But what are you gonna do? Man, I'm finna go
- 1:12:44Speaker 11: down here. I went down there the windows and got
- 1:12:46Speaker 11: me a Burger camera. I just couldn't take it. You
- 1:12:51Speaker 11: have a perfect wall.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: For him to get all them sweats that high on
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: that wall.
- 1:13:03Speaker 18: Of today's trending stories coming up right after this, Steve
- 1:13:08Speaker 18: Harbin Marty show Man, Flora.
- 1:13:10Speaker 13: Says, I've been sleeping with our yard man for a
- 1:13:12Speaker 13: while and he doesn't like wearing protection. We got into
- 1:13:15Speaker 13: an argument about it, and now he's not answering my
- 1:13:18Speaker 13: husband's texts to come to our yard.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: How can he be so petty when he knows I'm married?
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Here right here.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: God, y'all, y'all got to quit writing us with all
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: this craziness acting like his normal Yes you're not qualified state.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Don't what y'all want to do? Yes, y'all, y'all, I
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: can't apply no.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: Rules to this Stuffuse.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: Y'all keep coming up with all this abnormal mess like
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: his reglar.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Up right after.
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: All?
- 1:13:54Speaker 13: Right, So, Steve, I saw this video on social media
- 1:13:58Speaker 13: media recently of a man who was honest about why
- 1:14:01Speaker 13: he ditched women without any explanation, any closure. I know
- 1:14:06Speaker 13: you say men don't do closure, but he said that
- 1:14:10Speaker 13: the woman he ghosted was either too much for him
- 1:14:12Speaker 13: at the time and that meant to him that he
- 1:14:16Speaker 13: didn't measure up to her. So he was trying to
- 1:14:18Speaker 13: explain and put a button on why you know he
- 1:14:21Speaker 13: did what he did in the past or was he
- 1:14:24Speaker 13: looking for the past of the path of least resistance here?
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: No, I think women have to understand something, you know,
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: Like I've always told them. I've said, you know, a
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: lot of times when a man break up with you,
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: a woman immediately goes or what's wrong with me? That's
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: not always the case. As a matter of fact, the
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: majority of cases has not anything to do with you.
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: It's something wrong with the man. It's just just brother
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: online admitted that it was him that he couldn't measure up,
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: that he wasn't ready, that he wasn't the man for
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: the job, and that oftentimes is the case. And the
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: reason men don't give you closure is because most men
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: are not going to admit that ain't no, don't no
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: man want to come to you and go, you know, look,
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: I just ain't man enough.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: You too much.
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: Some men will do it, but a lot of men
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: have broken up with women and just went, hey, look
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: it ain't true.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: It's me and then that's it.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and what does that mean?
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: Yeah, but it means what this brother was saying. You
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: were too much for me. You had some requirements I
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: couldn't live up to. Your standards were too high. I'm
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: not enough man for the woman you are. I can't
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: feel the job application requirements out matter. I'm not ready
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: for that. I want a woman who's less than you.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: I need somebody who's just less because you just too
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: much now. And then they go on and they find
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: women who are less and try to have relationship with them,
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: and women get mad because how can he just move
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: on and start in a relationship.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Maybe he found less, Maybe.
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: He's what did I do?
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: What's to stop blaming yourself?
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: What's wrong?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Stop blaming yourself?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: It's your life because a lot of women do that.
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: Some men don't care about closure, you know, just they
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: just move on and let you figure it out on
- 1:16:19Speaker 11: your own.
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: And that's usually the case, because I wrote a chapter
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: men don't do closure because normally we don't.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: And Tommy is exactly right.
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: The majority of the time we just walked, well, know
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: you nothing, you work through it out, and a most
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: a lot of men ain't gonna admit to their shortcomings.
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: And then me and we don't feel like it's our opplication,
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: I mean, and in truth, what happened to us was
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: we didn't work. Now we ain't got the good seat
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: now standing here and calling you back to explain why,
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: you know what? That's gonna lead into that momentation, At
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: that moment when you decide not to do closure and
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: move on.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: What is going through your mind? What's going through the
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: mind mind of a man's over?
- 1:17:04Speaker 13: Well?
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, who behind you I'm looking for? Yeah, it's over.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: So there's no guilt, there's no remorse, No.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I got well, I got to be killed.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Are we getting out of something that ain't working for me?
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: And you?
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: I'm doing you a faith. I'm getting out of here
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: now because this ain't working. You may think it's working,
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: but all this arguing and all this what I ain't,
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: what you don't do?
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: And where was you? And all this here?
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: No no, no, no no, So you ain't got to
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: question me no more, and I ain't got to.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Answer the questions.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: Free yourself from having to wonder where I'm at anymore.
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: And that's really how man looks at it. And that's
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: a clean way to get out, because if it's over,
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: it's over the.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Whole the how come? What happened?
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: Why not?
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: We ain't got we don't really look it's over. No
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: matter what I say, you're not gonna like to answer.
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: So how about just no answer? And that's usually how
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: me and look at that too.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Don't we already know why we leave it?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Of course we know.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Okay, let me ask you this. Did you know when
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you met the woman?
- 1:18:09Speaker 13: Did you know already know that she was too much
- 1:18:12Speaker 13: for you or she was above your prey grade, or
- 1:18:15Speaker 13: you know, out of.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Your sad the signs don't show up till later.
- 1:18:18Speaker 7: Yeah, and then and then you got to understand, y'all
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: find this clouds actually right.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Say that? All right, Wow, this is good. This is good, guys.
- 1:18:30Speaker 13: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:33Speaker 13: up at twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:42Speaker 13: All right, So, Steve, before we left, we were talking
- 1:18:44Speaker 13: about men and they don't do closure.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: They just move on.
- 1:18:49Speaker 13: And a lot of times it is them, or most
- 1:18:51Speaker 13: times it is them and not the woman. Did you
- 1:18:54Speaker 13: want to add anything to that? You were saying you
- 1:18:56Speaker 13: already knew when you met the woman.
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: Perhaps for you, when we meet a woman, I don't
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: want to say game because every man that meets you
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: not playing a game.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: But game on. We now have to see what it's
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: gonna take to win you over.
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: Now, if it's a lot, we'll pretend to have a lot,
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: but we can't sustain the pretense, the pretension.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: We just can't sustain it.
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: And you know, like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I got
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: myself together, I'm holding, I'm strong, I'm dedicated, I'm working.
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: And then when she keeps that pressure up, this is
- 1:19:31Speaker 7: what I'm looking for this is what when did you
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: or are you still looking for a job?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Did you still?
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: How's the job hunt going? How's the business going?
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: And they're gonna because they're gonna cause women gonna ask
- 1:19:40Speaker 7: you because women want to feel safe. And that's an
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: important thing for a woman. She wants to feel safe
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: and so in you coming alonger in her life, whereas
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: the security in this relationship. So it's not that she's
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: a gold digger or nothing like that. She just wants
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: to feel safe. Now we've created the term gold digger,
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: keep you out of our pockets and keep you from
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: talking about our money. And women are stupid for falling
- 1:20:04Speaker 7: into that trip, let me tell you, because you want
- 1:20:07Speaker 7: to feel safe. And so now once we find out
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: that these safety questions is going to keep coming, we
- 1:20:13Speaker 7: get nervous and we back out.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Good information, good information.
- 1:20:18Speaker 13: We'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:20:20Speaker 13: up at thirty three minutes after and we'll do a
- 1:20:23Speaker 13: round of would you rather right after this. You're listening
- 1:20:26Speaker 13: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time now
- 1:20:33Speaker 13: for would you rather? Would you rather win the lottery jackpot?
- 1:20:38Speaker 13: Or would you rather live in good health and live
- 1:20:41Speaker 13: to be one hundred and twenty years old.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: But we broke though at one hundred time.
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: And old.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: But give me fifteen good years of this big Okay,
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: so you only get fifteen years.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: No, no, no, give me this money, and God has
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: for me exactly exactly.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, give me this money and whatever my riot is.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: I had worked out with the low I was looking
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: for one oh four.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Anyway, you are a health proponent now, you like I'm.
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: A big proponent healthy. Yes, well, health is more important
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: than wealth.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Yeah in your statement, yeah you were.
- 1:21:23Speaker 13: You could be health, right, Carlo, you could be healthy
- 1:21:25Speaker 13: and live till one hundred and twenty years old.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: I'm healthy.
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: Now give me this billion and watch this health. I'm
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: healthy now. It's not saying you've got to be unhealthy
- 1:21:38Speaker 7: with the billion. It's just you're guaranteed one hundred and
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: twenty years of good health or you can get this
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: billion right now.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: I want to be healthy, yeah, because.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I'm a couple of thing I want to do before
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: one twenty. Anyway, I don't do it. I got a
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: couple of issues. But this billion, thought straight, all right,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: all right, I won't take that billion.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna make myself sick by saying nothing.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Here are stupid?
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: Here we go straight now? Then come on?
- 1:22:10Speaker 13: Would you rather think about this when you were single? Okay,
- 1:22:13Speaker 13: I gotta put that in there. Would you rather get
- 1:22:15Speaker 13: a text from from one night stand that says I'm pregnant?
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Or I have an s T D? Which one?
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: Well?
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: Which some STV?
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: Is it?
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: I mean, we gotta talk this std can Yeah, we might.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: You know, the baby might be better. You've just got
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: some insect on me. We can work through that. What
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: kind of prescription we talk? Yeah, we're talking about. What
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: are we talking about?
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: Which one?
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: We're talking about? Some penal selling?
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: Which somebody show off his penalicilla anybody?
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, we just peninsula? I go on, take off?
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Shut all right? All right, you guys, that's today's rounded.
- 1:23:17Speaker 13: Would you rather coming up at forty nine minutes after
- 1:23:20Speaker 13: the hour, our last break of the day and some
- 1:23:22Speaker 13: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:23:25Speaker 13: after this Steve.
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: Harbin, Marty so Man, Junior steal out.
- 1:23:30Speaker 13: But my question, though, you don't mind if we take off?
- 1:23:33Speaker 13: What is your problem with Junior?
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Because he ain't told nobody he was going to take
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: off this loan.
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: We did we know a.
- 1:23:44Speaker 13: Tommy would tell you, Temmy, I'm getting ready to take
- 1:23:54Speaker 13: vac What but Steve, let's go.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Back to nephew.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: We gotta rust up by here when we on vacation.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: No split up.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: He feels that weight, he does feel that weight.
- 1:24:05Speaker 5: We're not doing that, sir.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Is this something you want to do? Cheer and call
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: y'all try to go somewhere. If I do, I know
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: who to call and it's you. Un believable.

- 1:25:03Speaker 10: our last break of the day. Steve, you have some
- 1:25:06Speaker 10: closing remarks.
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: You know what I'm just on this tip right now
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: because I want to just remind people really really focus
- 1:25:19Speaker 7: on yourself. And I'm not meaning to the point where
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: you don't consider other people. That's not what I'm saying.
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: But in order to be successful, I really want you
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: to focus on yourself, because in order to get you
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: to the next level, nobody should know you better than yourself,
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: and the best way to know yourself is to be
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: true to yourself. Do the things that feel right to you,
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: Do the things that motivate you, do the things that
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: put you in a better position. Do the things that
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: you know in your heart are right. If it don't
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: feel right, this probably because it's not. If what you
- 1:26:04Speaker 7: are doing is at the expense or the cost of
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: somebody else, you're gonna have to pay for that because
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: that's not how it's done. You don't have to use
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: anybody to get to where you're trying to go in life,
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: especially if it's in the same place God has for you.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: God don't need no help.
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: God don't need you using nobody, stepping on nobody, abusing nobody.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: He doesn't need that help.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: So if you are.
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: Doing something and you know what's wrong, you have to
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: pull yourself up, pull yourself together.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Now, listen to me.
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: When you make a mistake, and you will, and you
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: get it wrong, and you will get up and go again,
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: Get up and go again. You have to keep moving forward.
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: God is not looking for your perfection. He is only
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: looking for your person. You are not going to be perfect.
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: I don't care how hard you try. That's what grace
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: and forgiveness and mercy is all about. Because he put it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: He implemented a system where he knew that we were
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: going to fail so many times along the way trying
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: to get it right. So he created grace, mercy and forgiveness.
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: So when you make a mistake, stop laying in it.
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: It's okay, you made a mistake. It's no big deal.
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: Everybody makes them. But know yourself and know what you do.
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: If you don't really care to drink, nothing says you
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: have to drink. If you're the person that really ain't
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: in the weed. Just causes legal don't mean you got
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: to do it. Alcohol is legal, cigarettes is legal. But
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: if it's not for you, it's not for you. Know
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: yourself and lock in after you know yourself, lock in
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: on your purpose. You know I say this all the
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: time the two greatest days of your life, of the
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: day you're born and the day you discover why. But
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: listen to me, man, that why is critical? That why
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: is your purpose? That why is your meaning your service?
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: That why is everything? You've got to lock in on
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: your purpose and stay there and stop allowing everything to
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: sidetrack you. So many people, Man, we are so easily
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: distracted in this world because the distractions everywhere.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: But you've got to get.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: Tuned dear to your purpose. Why are you on this earth?
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: Are you really on this worth to live the way
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: you live in?
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: I mean, you have to just come to that.
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: I just just sit myself down one day and go,
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: Steve Harvey, are you really in this world to live
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: the way you live it? Do you think that God
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: took all this time, bring you through all the stuff

- 1:28:56Speaker 2: To act like this, for you to continue living like this?
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: And when I had that honest conversation with myself, the
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: answer was no, And so I had to start pulling
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: it together. But I couldn't pull it together by myself.
- 1:29:13Speaker 7: I had to ask God for some help. You know,
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: why would I not go to God for the help.

- 1:30:25Speaker 7: have the book, all you got to do is ask
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: God for help.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: But you have got to.
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: Get tuned in you your purpose. And when you make
- 1:30:34Speaker 7: mistakes and you fall, it doesn't mean it's over. I
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: have fallen thousands of times. But the blessing that I
- 1:30:42Speaker 7: have that God has given me is I have the

- 1:30:59Speaker 2: order to get up. You simply have to look up.
- 1:31:02Speaker 7: Every time I fall, I look to my heavenly Father,
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: and he gives me the strip to go on to tomorrow.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: And you got it.
