- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bu bu things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not me true good Steve har to mother for Steve Joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn love, got to turn them out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn the water the water, y'all, come, come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: bad uh huh, I show well a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dignity, naw one,
- 2:09Speaker 1: it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I gotta
- 2:12Speaker 1: tweet the other day. When Steve Harvey used to get
- 2:17Speaker 1: the preaching, I used to just turn the radio off.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But Noah's different, old dude be bringing it. He'd be
- 2:26Speaker 1: bringing the truth. I appreciate that, you know. Man. When
- 2:30Speaker 1: I was younger, man, when I when I wanted to
- 2:32Speaker 1: do what I wanted to do, Man, I just man,
- 2:35Speaker 1: I didn't want to hear nothing else. I didn't want
- 2:37Speaker 1: to hear nothing that contradicted what I wanted to do.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know. So it's a funny thing man about me.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Man I was I would hear the truth, I would
- 2:46Speaker 1: know it to be the truth. But because I had
- 2:48Speaker 1: another plan, another mission, another goal, another set of dudes,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I wanted to get done. I didn't want to hear that.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You know, it's a funny thing, man, It's like it's
- 2:59Speaker 1: like when I was a little boy and I used
- 3:01Speaker 1: to get scared sometime at night, you know, the booger man.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I thought that if I just pulled the blanket
- 3:06Speaker 1: up over my head, that that meant that if I
- 3:10Speaker 1: can't see the booger man, he can't see me. That's
- 3:13Speaker 1: the theory. That's an ostrich, you know, sticking his head
- 3:18Speaker 1: in the sand, thinking wow, if I don't see this dude,
- 3:20Speaker 1: he can't see me. A lot of Ostriches didn't die
- 3:23Speaker 1: with their head stick in the sand. I just didn't
- 3:26Speaker 1: want to be one of them people that left this
- 3:28Speaker 1: world with my head in the sand. But I just
- 3:33Speaker 1: wanted to say, man, this morning, that quit talking about change.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Y'all listening, because because because this is real right here,
- 3:46Speaker 1: quit talking about change and let's make a change. You know, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't I don't mind giving people advice. I really,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I really really don't, because so many people along the
- 3:58Speaker 1: way have handed it to me freely. Man, Some people
- 4:02Speaker 1: just saw me doing wrong and say, young man, come in,
- 4:04Speaker 1: let me talk to you for a minute. Some people say, hey, bro,
- 4:06Speaker 1: look man, I know what you're trying to do it. Man,
- 4:09Speaker 1: when have you thought about it this way? So I've
- 4:13Speaker 1: had a lot of favor in my life, a lot
- 4:15Speaker 1: of grace been shown on me, a lot of mercy,
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lot of people and came to me, helped me
- 4:20Speaker 1: a long way. So I don't have no problem with
- 4:22Speaker 1: this part of what I'm what I'm obligated to do
- 4:24Speaker 1: in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and let's make a change. She changed its growth, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: it ain't no growth without change. You got people. Man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: You ever met a person that's just insistent on doing
- 4:39Speaker 1: it they way? I mean, no body in the building
- 4:43Speaker 1: think they should go that way, but they're so bone headed.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Oh this is how I'm gonna do it. But bro,
- 4:50Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, that ain't high as done. You're
- 4:53Speaker 1: gonna run into this distance. I'll show you. Hey a minute, man,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you can't do it that way. Man, if you are
- 5:00Speaker 1: sick and tired of where you are, then you have
- 5:03Speaker 1: to change. Change can only come from within. Can nobody
- 5:08Speaker 1: make you change? Now we got a penal system in
- 5:11Speaker 1: place that can make you sit down. If you don't
- 5:14Speaker 1: want to change, we'll sit you down and we'll restrict
- 5:18Speaker 1: your movement in your communication to the point where if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you want to continue this foolishness, we're gonna put you
- 5:24Speaker 1: in this building with a whole lot of people. That's
- 5:26Speaker 1: a foolishness. And y'all just trick each other all day long.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But if you are sick and tired of your situation,
- 5:34Speaker 1: pray for it. Pray for change, Ask God to help
- 5:38Speaker 1: you change. Ask God what he wants for you instead
- 5:42Speaker 1: of always telling God what you want. It's an interesting
- 5:45Speaker 1: prayer to have with God. When you quit going to
- 5:49Speaker 1: God with your list and check in with God and
- 5:52Speaker 1: see what his list is. That's a very interesting prayer.
- 5:56Speaker 1: If you're a praying person, I suggest you try that sometime.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It's so interesting. Man, do you know what it did
- 6:02Speaker 1: for me when I started asking God what he wanted
- 6:05Speaker 1: for me? Instead of telling God all the time. I
- 6:08Speaker 1: still tell him what I want, but instead of all
- 6:11Speaker 1: the time going to Him with what I want. You
- 6:13Speaker 1: know what it did for me? It freed me up.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It took a lot of pressure off I no longer
- 6:18Speaker 1: had to think of everything, and what I was thinking
- 6:21Speaker 1: of a lot of times wasn't work in no way.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And when I opened myself up to what he wanted,
- 6:26Speaker 1: to what his wheel was, Man, do you know how
- 6:29Speaker 1: much simpler my life got? And do you know how
- 6:31Speaker 1: much bigger it got? I'm trying to tell you, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: if you pray for change and you allow God to
- 6:37Speaker 1: help you with the change, or if you let God
- 6:39Speaker 1: just produce the change, the changing, you would be amazing.
- 6:43Speaker 1: If you've been listening to me, especially out in La
- 6:46Speaker 1: since I was on the radio since two thousand, can't
- 6:49Speaker 1: you hear the change? I'm flat out telling you that
- 6:54Speaker 1: a change has come. But I had to pray for
- 6:57Speaker 1: the change because I couldn't make the change on my own.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And then after you pray for the change, you got
- 7:03Speaker 1: to work towards your trade change. You know it as
- 7:06Speaker 1: a faith without works is dead. Everybody wants something from God,
- 7:10Speaker 1: always want to talk to God about something, But then man, ain't, ain't, don't,
- 7:15Speaker 1: don't want to do nothing about it. Faith without works
- 7:18Speaker 1: is dead. You can't do it that way, man, It
- 7:21Speaker 1: just does not happen. So after you didn't pray to
- 7:25Speaker 1: God about it. What you gotta do then, is you
- 7:27Speaker 1: gotta turn around and go hey, man, all right, now
- 7:30Speaker 1: what is it I got to do? You know, you
- 7:33Speaker 1: got to do something to bring it about. So after
- 7:37Speaker 1: you pray for it, work for it, and do something
- 7:40Speaker 1: to date about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The
- 7:46Speaker 1: change can start today. Man, I want to change. How
- 7:48Speaker 1: about today? You know then you see them same people? Man,
- 7:53Speaker 1: I want to change. That's next week. How about today?
- 7:57Speaker 1: I see people years later? Man, I'm still in the
- 8:00Speaker 1: same old situation. Man, I'm gonna do something. How about today?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 8:07Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 8:13Speaker 1: of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all. And ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 8:21Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 8:24Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 8:26Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things in me
- 8:30Speaker 1: didn't need to change, so I can grow further. Everybody
- 8:35Speaker 1: has something about them that they need to change in
- 8:39Speaker 1: order to grow further and then go further. Now, what's
- 8:42Speaker 1: stopping you is you won't start the change today. Don't hesitate.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Make that change, and then I want you to watch something.
- 8:50Speaker 1: When you change, watch the difference in you. Notice the
- 8:54Speaker 1: difference in you, feel the difference in you, and guess
- 8:58Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different. If you're watching for the change.
- 9:02Speaker 1: If you're feeling the change, then guess what you're gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: be different. Man, Watch for the difference, feel the difference.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You will be different. If you're sick and tired of
- 9:11Speaker 1: your situation, folks, you can change that. But the change
- 9:15Speaker 1: is in you. It's a simple decision you how to make.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna change. The change is up to you. You
- 9:21Speaker 1: can decide to day if you want to change, you
- 9:24Speaker 1: want to be different. If you're sitting behind the wall,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I love speaking to the brothers and sisters behind the wall.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If you're behind the wall, man, and you're sick and
- 9:31Speaker 1: tired of being behind the wall, man, why don't you change?
- 9:34Speaker 1: You've thought about that? Change? Man. If I get back
- 9:37Speaker 1: out there, I'm gonna just do the same thing. Stop
- 9:39Speaker 1: saying that, Stop breathing that negativity into your life. Decide
- 9:43Speaker 1: today that you want to change. You can do it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Everybody can change. If you don't know how to change,
- 9:48Speaker 1: pray for it. Man, ask God to help you with
- 9:51Speaker 1: the change. Or you get some movement, then partner, you
- 9:53Speaker 1: get a whole lot of movement. Then all right, let's right,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the Steve
- 10:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. I've got sunshine on a cloudy day.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Doom doom, doom, doom, doom, doom doom, when it's cold outside,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I got the mouth of me. Well, I guess you say,
- 10:31Speaker 1: what can make me feel this way? My girl talking
- 10:40Speaker 1: about my girl, my girl. I've got so boy, you
- 10:50Speaker 1: can't until you get in it. Your toes, from your toes,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I've got so you don't want to get any don't
- 11:00Speaker 1: come over here with me. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to
- 11:04Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. That's how I felt this morning.
- 11:08Speaker 1: We have the cast of Shirley Strawberry, the Fabulous Callin Ral,
- 11:13Speaker 1: the girl out of Mississippi, Monica who you very rarely here,
- 11:16Speaker 1: but when you do, you understand why Kill Spates better
- 11:20Speaker 1: known as Junior, we call him Baby go through and
- 11:24Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, the legend Nephew Tommy, it is Dole.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Ask you something Black History Month? Yeah, I just saw
- 11:35Speaker 1: what you just did this morning open in the show
- 11:37Speaker 1: what is being black? Meaning? You like everything? Everything? Black
- 11:42Speaker 1: has been everything to me. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 11:45Speaker 1: the way I describe it, it is the hardest, most
- 11:49Speaker 1: enjoyable thing I've ever done, and that's staying black. For
- 11:53Speaker 1: the entire sixty five years I've been here, it has
- 11:58Speaker 1: been the most joyable, hardest thing I've ever done was
- 12:03Speaker 1: being black. Now, it has been some challenging moments. It
- 12:08Speaker 1: has been sometimes why I didn't understand, and I have
- 12:11Speaker 1: been mad at people for the treatment of us. I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: frustrated with people over the treatment of us. I'm flat
- 12:17Speaker 1: out angry and want to do something to some people
- 12:20Speaker 1: sometime about the way we've been done and continue to
- 12:24Speaker 1: be done. But when I get off to myself and
- 12:27Speaker 1: I get around mine and it's just us, we have
- 12:32Speaker 1: a way of getting together and putting seasoning on all
- 12:37Speaker 1: these troubles. We have a way of turning something out
- 12:43Speaker 1: of nothing in a way where it gives us a
- 12:46Speaker 1: joy that only we know how to do, because only
- 12:50Speaker 1: we come from the perspective that we have. It has
- 12:53Speaker 1: been a sheer joy for me. I wouldn't trade this
- 12:55Speaker 1: experience of being black for nothing in the world. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: don't like what all home with it, but I'll tell
- 13:02Speaker 1: you what I think that I have done a fine
- 13:05Speaker 1: job of handling it for all these years now. It
- 13:09Speaker 1: has cast some people who didn't understand me at time,
- 13:13Speaker 1: but those people had to suffer sometimes I had to
- 13:18Speaker 1: let you see why I feel this way, and you
- 13:21Speaker 1: get some of it. I gotta let your ass from
- 13:23Speaker 1: over pend on that day, penned on the day. But
- 13:27Speaker 1: if today is today, today your lucky day lotto, you
- 13:30Speaker 1: hit the jack potty. Coming up after the hour, run
- 13:38Speaker 1: that brank back with another black member of the morning show,
- 13:42Speaker 1: the Nephew. Right after this you're listening to show, it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now to run the brank back with the nephew. Nephew.
- 13:51Speaker 1: What you've got? Your baby? Got? My baby's name cat Doot.
- 13:56Speaker 1: If you would hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach uh Patricia,
- 14:02Speaker 1: Patricia speaking? Who is it? How you're doing? Listen? Um?
- 14:06Speaker 1: My name is Floyd. Floyd. I want to give you
- 14:08Speaker 1: a call. Your your daughter, she a teends middle school.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Right your name again? Floyd? Okay? What can I just
- 14:15Speaker 1: like you? Uh? Well, like I said, your your daughter
- 14:18Speaker 1: she goes. She do go to middle school, right yeah, okay,
- 14:21Speaker 1: Now her name, her name is Dereka. Okay, Well, ain't
- 14:26Speaker 1: something wrong or something? No, no, no, not nothing wrong.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I mean, I don't mean along, you're nothing like that.
- 14:31Speaker 1: But let me see what Well, here's the situation. My
- 14:36Speaker 1: daughter actually goes to middle school along along with with
- 14:40Speaker 1: your daughter. Okay, And and it's it's a bit of
- 14:44Speaker 1: a problem that that that has arisen that me and
- 14:46Speaker 1: my wife just found out about. Okay, they have some issues,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Derek and your baby in in in some kind of
- 14:53Speaker 1: like trouble or something. No no, no, no, no, nothing
- 14:56Speaker 1: like that. But with nobody at that school, she don't
- 15:00Speaker 1: that's for nobody. She owned the honor roll and everything.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't have no problems out of Dereka, right, okay,
- 15:06Speaker 1: ill let me know. Let me tell you, miss miss Patricia,
- 15:10Speaker 1: was the problem is. See, my daughter name is Dereka. Okay. So,
- 15:16Speaker 1: and and it just blew me and my wife away
- 15:18Speaker 1: that it was another Dereka that went to school. Okay,
- 15:23Speaker 1: all right, I don't know too many Derecas. That's a
- 15:25Speaker 1: unique name. That's cute, okay, right, right, Well, here's the problem.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Me and my wife actually, you know, when it was
- 15:32Speaker 1: time to name my child, we thought we was really
- 15:34Speaker 1: picking a name that nobody would have a tick out
- 15:38Speaker 1: for their daughter and to have another Dereca in the school.
- 15:41Speaker 1: That blew us away. And I guess the real reason
- 15:44Speaker 1: why I'm trying to call you, miss Patricia. See if if,
- 15:47Speaker 1: if there's something maybe we can work out, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: maybe uh like your Dereka doesn't middle name or nickname
- 15:55Speaker 1: she can be called by in opposed to both of
- 15:58Speaker 1: them being Dereka. You want I try to be the
- 16:01Speaker 1: only one with this name? Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 16:05Speaker 1: Now you calling me and you asking me to change
- 16:08Speaker 1: my baby's name. Well, I mean you you ain't really
- 16:10Speaker 1: gotta legally change I mean, but just start calling us
- 16:13Speaker 1: something else, you know? No, no, wait a minute, So
- 16:15Speaker 1: what you naming police or something? Do you know how
- 16:19Speaker 1: many ants and Lewis's and Patricia's out there? What if
- 16:22Speaker 1: I ask everybody in the United States to change their
- 16:25Speaker 1: name from Patricia? You know how crazy that is? And
- 16:28Speaker 1: I understand that you must be on drugs. Not what
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is you know this, this is
- 16:33Speaker 1: something that we really have. Our baby girl was this
- 16:36Speaker 1: name and we didn't want nobody else to have this.
- 16:38Speaker 1: So does your Derica have a middle name? She can you? No,
- 16:41Speaker 1: we're gonna call her Dereka like we've been calling your name,
- 16:44Speaker 1: your baby d D. Let's call your baby d D.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Din you change y'all, y'all change y'all baby name at
- 16:49Speaker 1: the school. I'm not calling I'm not calling my name.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't give you what you call it, but I'm
- 16:54Speaker 1: not changing my baby name. Hey, listen, Okay, look, I'm
- 16:57Speaker 1: trying to call you and hand looks like adults, you know,
- 17:00Speaker 1: but you're seen to say you're gonna push my buddy
- 17:02Speaker 1: to take me to another level. Obviously you ain't calling
- 17:04Speaker 1: me trying to have us he does ask me to
- 17:06Speaker 1: change my baby name, call my baby something else at
- 17:09Speaker 1: the school because y'all want your baby name to be
- 17:11Speaker 1: Derek and the only Derek in the school. Hey, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: have many other kids at the damn school got the
- 17:16Speaker 1: same name. I understand that, but for my baby girl,
- 17:19Speaker 1: it ain't schools to be like that. Hull. I'm sorry,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry to go. Baby girl ain't your wife, but
- 17:25Speaker 1: you know I'm not changing my baby damn name. Y'all
- 17:28Speaker 1: call y'all baby do know. What I'm trying to do
- 17:31Speaker 1: is get it rectified that we can call you get
- 17:34Speaker 1: my phone number. I know that school ain't give you
- 17:37Speaker 1: my number. I got your nump. Don't worry about how
- 17:39Speaker 1: I got it. The problem is what we're talking about
- 17:42Speaker 1: right now. If we what can we start calling your child?
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't give it. I know that school ain't called
- 17:47Speaker 1: you my damn number. Listen, man, all I'm trying to
- 17:51Speaker 1: do is figure out what can we start calling your
- 17:53Speaker 1: daughter Drek cut that she's been being called You and
- 17:57Speaker 1: your wife y'all need to go down to the statistics
- 17:59Speaker 1: office and just to our baby name. I kind you
- 18:02Speaker 1: have to stop out to kind of names behind, but
- 18:04Speaker 1: my day to keep the same day name. Let me
- 18:07Speaker 1: explain something to you. I've been trying to be calm
- 18:09Speaker 1: with you here the marshall, but if you are find
- 18:12Speaker 1: something else to call on, and I'm gonna go. I'm
- 18:13Speaker 1: gonna get all the other kids to number. How don't
- 18:16Speaker 1: you get my number? Don't worry about how I got
- 18:18Speaker 1: the number. Listen to what I'm trying to tell you.
- 18:21Speaker 1: If you don't find another name, I'm gonna start getting
- 18:23Speaker 1: the kids to call your daughter something else. You're getting
- 18:26Speaker 1: to call my daddy studdings. I try to. I'm with
- 18:29Speaker 1: an everybody who called my buddy stop. Next, you're trying
- 18:32Speaker 1: to change your baby name. I want my baby the
- 18:34Speaker 1: name to be the Dereka John. I don't get them.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It's true. My princess is supposed to be the only
- 18:42Speaker 1: one named Dereka. Handy chain, call your baby stopping else
- 18:46Speaker 1: at the school. I'm going out of these kids starting tomorrow.
- 18:49Speaker 1: F school calling your daughter, I'm going else. I'm gonna standing.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna start with you like this number. You hang
- 18:54Speaker 1: him off, my phoney, don't come on my god. Let
- 18:57Speaker 1: me tell you something. I got one more thing I
- 18:58Speaker 1: need to say to you. You listen to me? What
- 19:01Speaker 1: are you listening to me? I'm listening to you. What
- 19:05Speaker 1: this is, Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:08Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your girlfriend. I would give her.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Ain't pre me on this spot. I'm so sorry you
- 19:27Speaker 1: are sorry. Yes, I'm gonna give her your friend baby.
- 19:36Speaker 1: That is the oh. I'm so sorry. You got my
- 19:38Speaker 1: nerves bad this morning. Lord have mercy. Lord, I gotta
- 19:41Speaker 1: kiss my bread. I got one more thing I gotta
- 19:44Speaker 1: ask you, darling, what is what is the baddest I'm
- 19:47Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land, Steve
- 19:50Speaker 1: Hart The Morning Show. I listen to y'all every morning. Crazy,
- 19:56Speaker 1: y'all crazy and not have mercy. Y'all got my blood pressure.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I love y'all. I listen to y'all show every morning.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I thrive on it. I really do. I just the
- 20:11Speaker 1: passion to wake up and be ignorant. It's just so
- 20:15Speaker 1: oh love that. Don't don't. I don't think it requires much.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You don't have to do that, but do you see
- 20:21Speaker 1: the gift is what I'm asking. Coming up next, we're
- 20:26Speaker 1: gonna ask the CLO with our Chief Love Officer, Steve
- 20:30Speaker 1: Harvey in the building right after this. But it's a
- 20:32Speaker 1: gift when he do that, though, See what I'm saying.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 20:39Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll have a special guest.
- 20:41Speaker 1: He's platinum recording artist and friend and family member to
- 20:45Speaker 1: the show, the one and only Kim. Can't wait for that. Yeah,
- 20:50Speaker 1: it's been a minute. It's been a minute, but right
- 20:52Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the CLO, our Chief
- 20:56Speaker 1: Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building ready for your questions.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Katina and Philly writes, I'm a thirty seven year old
- 21:04Speaker 1: single woman and I've been in a relationship for almost
- 21:07Speaker 1: eight years with a man. She's thirty seven. She's been
- 21:12Speaker 1: a relationship with a man for almost eight years. He
- 21:15Speaker 1: keeps putting off marriage. It's one thing after the other,
- 21:19Speaker 1: and excuses Galoris. Does he think I'm going to wait
- 21:21Speaker 1: for him forever since I've already had two children. I
- 21:25Speaker 1: want another baby before I get any older. So should
- 21:28Speaker 1: I settle for him or leave and keep praying for
- 21:31Speaker 1: a more stable man? Wait? See you, You've made several
- 21:36Speaker 1: contradictory statements here, Katrina, and I just want you to
- 21:39Speaker 1: hear yourself. Katina, I'm with a man that I've been
- 21:44Speaker 1: with for eight years and he keeps putting off marriage.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Right that you talking about the thing that you keep
- 21:52Speaker 1: allowing to happen. Then you said, I have two children
- 21:58Speaker 1: and I want to have a third before I get
- 22:00Speaker 1: any older. Do I move on from him and get
- 22:06Speaker 1: another man? Why don't you get what you want from
- 22:10Speaker 1: this man? And that if he's not going to give
- 22:12Speaker 1: it to you, why don't you go somewhere and sit down.
- 22:16Speaker 1: See what do you need with the third child that
- 22:20Speaker 1: you're not married with. I mean, it's your right to
- 22:23Speaker 1: have whatever children you want. I'm not knocking at That's
- 22:25Speaker 1: not what I'm knocking. But I'm saying is you got
- 22:28Speaker 1: everything out of order. You keep giving these people what
- 22:31Speaker 1: they want and only getting half of what you want.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You've got to start making demands about where your life.
- 22:37Speaker 1: A man can't put off marriage unless you keep lat
- 22:40Speaker 1: name latine. That's what you're doing. You're allowing him to
- 22:44Speaker 1: put it off, excuse after the excuse. But y'all steady
- 22:47Speaker 1: making kids? Now you want another one before you turn
- 22:51Speaker 1: forty or whatever you're talking about, And what you think
- 22:54Speaker 1: another one fit to do? What do the other child produce?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Just need to sit down and repair yourself. Sit down
- 23:04Speaker 1: and repair yourself. You can't repair your marriage because you
- 23:07Speaker 1: don't have one, but what you do have is yourself.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Repair yourself. You need to start thinking better about yourself.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Go ahead, Sherley, I'm saying, all right, that's okay. Janice
- 23:18Speaker 1: in a Peg County says, my husband is an accountant
- 23:21Speaker 1: and he has a tax preparation business. He runs a
- 23:24Speaker 1: small office and I had a key to the office
- 23:26Speaker 1: until recently, and he swears he didn't take it. I
- 23:30Speaker 1: asked for a new key, and he said, I don't
- 23:32Speaker 1: need it because people's personal information is in the office.
- 23:36Speaker 1: That never mattered before. What is he trying to hide
- 23:39Speaker 1: and why is he keeping me out of there? I
- 23:42Speaker 1: don't know, Janie, I don't know. I don't know. But
- 23:47Speaker 1: you know, I don't know what happened to your key.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I don't know how you lost it. Seem to meet
- 23:53Speaker 1: your niece like you irresponsible. Oh it's on her. But
- 24:04Speaker 1: you know he got a tax office and now you
- 24:08Speaker 1: can't get in that. I don't you know, I don't know.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening. I don't know enough about
- 24:13Speaker 1: the situation. You didn't give me. What's he hiding? I
- 24:16Speaker 1: have no idea. It could be a surprise for you
- 24:19Speaker 1: that he don't want you to see he's working on.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It could be that one. It could be a got
- 24:26Speaker 1: a new office and it's got a bed in the back.
- 24:28Speaker 1: It could be that. I don't know what it is.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I have no way of coming up with it. But
- 24:35Speaker 1: you know the proof is in the pudding. I'll tell
- 24:38Speaker 1: you one thing. This is the time of the year
- 24:41Speaker 1: when y'all's lifestyle should really increase because this is tax season,
- 24:45Speaker 1: so that should be a lot of extra money or
- 24:48Speaker 1: not the soball amount of extra money to justify getting
- 24:51Speaker 1: this apartment. That's all I could say. So by the
- 24:54Speaker 1: time April gets you should know everything, all right, all right.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Moving on to Cassidy in Tampa, Cassidy writes, I'm almost
- 25:04Speaker 1: forty years old and I live next door to my
- 25:06Speaker 1: parents in a rental home. My uncle is my landlord,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and he can come and go in my house as
- 25:12Speaker 1: he pleases. He walked in Saturday morning and I was
- 25:15Speaker 1: in a compromising position with my man on the couch.
- 25:19Speaker 1: My uncle went and told my father what he saw.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And I can't look my father in the eye. Can
- 25:23Speaker 1: I legally stop him from popping up? Yes, yes, yes,
- 25:29Speaker 1: yes you can absolutely because you're you're paying for a
- 25:33Speaker 1: private dwelling, and if a person has a private dwelling,
- 25:38Speaker 1: you can't just pop in when you want to. I
- 25:40Speaker 1: one kind of count your ass mess. That is no way.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I wouldn't be living next dough to mom and Daddy,
- 25:46Speaker 1: though I wouldn't do it, well, I wouldn't, But I mean,
- 25:49Speaker 1: you can at least that's out the house. But this
- 25:52Speaker 1: uncle is the problem who feels though he can walk
- 25:54Speaker 1: in whenever he wants to. And I think he walks
- 25:57Speaker 1: in because he wants to walk in. Yeah, you know, yeah, Steve,
- 26:01Speaker 1: for sure, that's right. Yeah, I wouldn't stop doing what
- 26:06Speaker 1: I was doing on that couch, though I have kept
- 26:08Speaker 1: right on't doing what I was doing on yes in here. Well, yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 1: being a man, tell me that's easier for a woman
- 26:17Speaker 1: though a little bit, you know. But he gonna just
- 26:21Speaker 1: walk in and he gonna go tell you how far
- 26:23Speaker 1: that she's just in there on that coup with that
- 26:26Speaker 1: boy grown ask people, you know, man, get out of here. Yeah.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So I don't know what to tea. But she does
- 26:36Speaker 1: have rights as a tenant, Yes she does. That's that's
- 26:40Speaker 1: the thing she needs to know. And look around the
- 26:44Speaker 1: cone and see if it's something else you can rent.
- 26:46Speaker 1: It ought to be something round the car up the
- 26:49Speaker 1: block or something. It ought to be something we can
- 26:51Speaker 1: get who streets sober. Something we just that ain't all right?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Norman and Hattiesburg says, I'm a twenty six year old
- 27:00Speaker 1: single man and I'm in a relationship with a woman
- 27:03Speaker 1: that is nine years older. Than I am. I'm not
- 27:05Speaker 1: able to do things for her that a man would do,
- 27:08Speaker 1: and when I try to do sweet things she laughs
- 27:11Speaker 1: at me like I'm a kid. The relationship is hurting
- 27:14Speaker 1: my pride and boosting my ego at the same time.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Will she ever see me as her equal and let
- 27:20Speaker 1: me play my role as a man? No questions, Norman. No,
- 27:25Speaker 1: she's not gonna see you as an equal cause you're not.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You're not playing your role out of man because your
- 27:30Speaker 1: attempts at its funny to her. So now, since this
- 27:34Speaker 1: is for your ego and your egos getting bruised, how's
- 27:37Speaker 1: this working out for your ego? See, you want to
- 27:41Speaker 1: walk around and tell your friends you got this older
- 27:44Speaker 1: chick sprung on you, But your springing ability ain't doing nothing.
- 27:49Speaker 1: You're springing your bringing. She just laughing at your ass.
- 27:54Speaker 1: You ain't worth a damn dog. I really thought I
- 27:58Speaker 1: was doing something, but then she laughed at me. You
- 28:04Speaker 1: just more of a little boy, And you realize you are.
- 28:07Speaker 1: See when you're twenty six and a woman thirty five
- 28:10Speaker 1: at nine and not that nine year gap, she can
- 28:12Speaker 1: put something on you. Though. Yeah, I can see y'all.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Y'all get through you over in the corner, sucking your thumb,
- 28:18Speaker 1: pulling on your ear. Low. Well Norman all right, well,
- 28:24Speaker 1: thank you Clo coming name Norman, Yes, name is Norman,
- 28:29Speaker 1: normal and twenty six man, I'm your old last name.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You know them for your name Norman him last time

- 28:47Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, We've got a special guest.
- 28:50Speaker 1: It's Kim. Ladies and gentlemen, Kim is here when we
- 28:53Speaker 1: right after that you're listening show, Come on. Steve introduced
- 29:02Speaker 1: our very special guest family member. We love him, we
- 29:05Speaker 1: miss him. It's been too long. You know what, this
- 29:09Speaker 1: is gonna be really cool man. Because of COVID, we
- 29:12Speaker 1: don't get the studio guest anymore. And talking to his

- 29:24Speaker 1: our great guests, one of the great family members on
- 29:27Speaker 1: this show. Platinum selling artists, got a passion for songwriting. Well,
- 29:31Speaker 1: he's got a new eph that he's putting the finishes
- 29:35Speaker 1: touches on, and today he's gonna debut the lead single
- 29:39Speaker 1: on it, the lead single to call. The song is
- 29:41Speaker 1: called stuck on you right here. We're gonna do it
- 29:44Speaker 1: for the Steve Harvey nation. And it's just in time
- 29:47Speaker 1: for Valentine's Day everybody, So you know, you know he
- 29:50Speaker 1: knows what he's doing with this from right here. This
- 29:52Speaker 1: boyling wrote some love song. I'm trying to tell you
- 29:55Speaker 1: some of my favorites. I think about the day I
- 30:00Speaker 1: got wrapped around your finger, boy, but do nothing. When
- 30:06Speaker 1: he opened up that song where he said pray for me,
- 30:10Speaker 1: he gets right to the point I need prayer, don't.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I ain't. Look, man, let's skip over it. Preliminaries pray
- 30:19Speaker 1: for me. That's not open a song. There's an issue
- 30:23Speaker 1: going home. I need prayer. Well, that's my jam right there.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I sweat every time I hear that one. Ladies in general,
- 30:31Speaker 1: one of the great friends of the show, we're gonna
- 30:33Speaker 1: find out about the day. Give it up for the
- 30:34Speaker 1: One and the only. Kim. Yeah, good Morney, y'alls, Good morning, Kim.
- 30:43Speaker 1: How you being man? I've been good man, I've been
- 30:47Speaker 1: really good all things considered. I cannot complain. How y'all doing.
- 30:50Speaker 1: We're doing good man? How's the family doing? The pandemic? Man?
- 30:55Speaker 1: Everybody's good man? We're just solving the house stand safe.
- 30:58Speaker 1: We actually be all just got over by the COVID,

- 31:07Speaker 1: that's good. That's a blessing. Man. Well, man, let's talk
- 31:10Speaker 1: about this man. You've been working on this new one
- 31:12Speaker 1: man and this entitled Full Circle, and the lead single
- 31:15Speaker 1: for the album is called Stuck on You and you
- 31:17Speaker 1: bought it in for us this morning for the first
- 31:19Speaker 1: for US debut. Tell us a little bit about the song,
- 31:22Speaker 1: kim Um. You know the song. All of all of
- 31:26Speaker 1: my songs going forward are about my wife. Let's let
- 31:33Speaker 1: the record out now, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 31:36Speaker 1: you know, I woke up. I woke up one day, man,
- 31:38Speaker 1: and I realized that I had come as far as
- 31:41Speaker 1: I was gonna come by myself, you know, And it
- 31:45Speaker 1: was like God was in to me for the next
- 31:48Speaker 1: half of your journey. Brother, you need a partner, you know,
- 31:51Speaker 1: So I need you to stop running, you know, and
- 31:53Speaker 1: sit down and embraced this and let this woman love you.
- 31:56Speaker 1: And that's really what this song is about. You know that.
- 32:00Speaker 1: That's a great realization yeah, you said, I realized I've
- 32:04Speaker 1: come as far as I can go by myself. Yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you know, And I've often said that man, you can.
- 32:12Speaker 1: You can become successful without a woman, but you'll never
- 32:16Speaker 1: be You'll never be great without woman. No great men,
- 32:21Speaker 1: no great men without women. A man. All right? Set
- 32:24Speaker 1: it up for as Kim set up the debut of
- 32:26Speaker 1: all Stuck on You. Hey, this is the debut of
- 32:29Speaker 1: my new single, Stuck on You, dedicated to my beautiful
- 32:33Speaker 1: wife and all the people who love grown folks, romantic
- 32:38Speaker 1: R and B right here on the Steve Hervey Martin Show. Good.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I've been looking for a hero kind of loving you
- 32:47Speaker 1: can lean on, can trusting, maybe anywhe we I can
- 33:00Speaker 1: tell how the people, how you look at us, Babe.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Your love it's so buck amazing, drifts me crazy. Baby,
- 33:18Speaker 1: I'm stuck going you and your love. It's all I
- 33:25Speaker 1: needing to be feelingss Baby, I'm spekling you. Yeah, I'm
- 33:38Speaker 1: stuck on you. Maybe making love to the morning KG
- 33:44Speaker 1: the range of s funning and your temptingness. Even when
- 33:54Speaker 1: my world is spinning, I've got a brand new beginning
- 34:01Speaker 1: when a feeciss and maybe your love somazing drives me crazy, baby,
- 34:15Speaker 1: and stuck on you and no love spoke and needed
- 34:25Speaker 1: to be feels Baby, I'm stun girl, I'm stuck on.
- 34:36Speaker 1: You were made, you were made to love. You came
- 34:44Speaker 1: alone and rescue me, rescue stuck on and Lord, I prayed,
- 34:52Speaker 1: we keep holding on and I live. Please say I'm
- 35:18Speaker 1: a lasting night one of the Mountain Times. Day. We
- 35:24Speaker 1: gotta get it. Even though my world is spinning, I
- 35:27Speaker 1: got a whole new beginning. You know. I always picked
- 35:29Speaker 1: that one line that applied to me right away, as
- 35:34Speaker 1: soon as I hear I go oh, he wrote it
- 35:36Speaker 1: from me. Hey, y'all, we come back. We're gonna talk
- 35:38Speaker 1: to Kim a little bit more. Don't go away. We
- 35:40Speaker 1: have more with Kim right after this. You're listening right, everybody.
- 35:46Speaker 1: We're back in our special Guests. This morning is one
- 35:49Speaker 1: and only Kim and we heard before we went out
- 35:51Speaker 1: on break the new single that's out just in time
- 35:54Speaker 1: for Valence Times. They stuck on You a great song, man.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I love that, Kim, So you said before the break
- 36:02Speaker 1: we went out, you said, from now on, all your
- 36:06Speaker 1: songs you're gonna write, it's about your wife. All right,
- 36:11Speaker 1: I'm taking I'm taking notes from you, man, they better
- 36:13Speaker 1: be about my wife, you know. Man, it's it's a
- 36:19Speaker 1: lot of experiences. Man, when you're in a fool and
- 36:22Speaker 1: when you're in a real relationship, you really ain't got
- 36:24Speaker 1: to look for material because real relationships they got so
- 36:28Speaker 1: many aspects to it. Man, let me ask you a question.
- 36:34Speaker 1: What inspires you to write a song when you're sitting down?
- 36:38Speaker 1: How does it come to you? What was the process? Like?
- 36:42Speaker 1: All my songs are written at the keyboard or at
- 36:44Speaker 1: the piano, and I just kind of like noodle around
- 36:47Speaker 1: with all the chords that I know until I hear
- 36:49Speaker 1: something that I like, and then the melody is the
- 36:51Speaker 1: next thing, and and the lyrics are the last thing
- 36:54Speaker 1: to come. But you know, I'm just and I say this,
- 36:58Speaker 1: and I know it may sound trite, but I'm just
- 37:00Speaker 1: a vessel dogs. The biggest part for me is sitting
- 37:03Speaker 1: down at the keyboard, and then after that the songs
- 37:06Speaker 1: write themselves, you know, they write themselves. I'm waiting for
- 37:10Speaker 1: it to happen, you know that. Wow, No it does, man. No, listen, man,
- 37:17Speaker 1: you know I'm listening. It's it's such it's refreshing to
- 37:21Speaker 1: listen to a song that it seems like somebody really
- 37:25Speaker 1: took some time to write ye, And that's what I
- 37:29Speaker 1: appreciate you man. You've taken the time to write some
- 37:34Speaker 1: great songs. That chemistry and all in all these these
- 37:37Speaker 1: albums you got who thank you, thank you, thank you,
- 37:43Speaker 1: say that it's been great man. All right, Steve Harvey Nation,

- 38:46Speaker 1: and gentlemen camp like Kim Duroy coming up at thirty
- 38:53Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour? Is there a new wedding
- 38:56Speaker 1: van that helps you spy on your spouse? Who? Maybe? Maybe?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to the Steven Show. A
- 39:08Speaker 1: viral social media post alleges that Apple is developing a
- 39:13Speaker 1: set of wedding bands that gives your location and automatically
- 39:17Speaker 1: alert your partner if you take the ring off. Well, um,
- 39:22Speaker 1: come to find out, this is a very old joke
- 39:24Speaker 1: and it's resurfaced online. But but the big butt, it's
- 39:30Speaker 1: so close to existing technology that it feels like it
- 39:34Speaker 1: could be possible soon. There are huge debates over privacy,
- 39:38Speaker 1: so major kinks would have to be worked out first.
- 39:41Speaker 1: So Tommy, Junior, Steve and the rest of the fellows
- 39:49Speaker 1: you can relax. You can Relax's just a hoax. I'm
- 39:55Speaker 1: if I get it, I'm putting it on the dog.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Do you know how many of them
- 40:01Speaker 1: you're gonna see you on the ground? Yeah? Last one
- 40:04Speaker 1: of them? Yeah? Man, ain't nobody to find the sign
- 40:07Speaker 1: for the foolishness right here, man, not when I got
- 40:10Speaker 1: the phone. No, y'all already tracking me with the I phone.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Just call me, just call I ain't got my wedding
- 40:16Speaker 1: ring on right now? So now what what's that? I'm home?
- 40:22Speaker 1: The hell? I got a head where I'm going? Yeah? Yeah,
- 40:26Speaker 1: I take it off when I play golf. How do
- 40:31Speaker 1: you mone about that? Tracking your life? You ain't got
- 40:33Speaker 1: to track me. You're not tracking me though, that's not
- 40:36Speaker 1: if you're tracking me, you don't. We don't need to
- 40:38Speaker 1: be doing this nowhere. No, really track you on your
- 40:40Speaker 1: phone right now? Yeah, but if you got to track me,
- 40:44Speaker 1: we ain't got nothing nowhere. There's no trust you and
- 40:50Speaker 1: let me let me listen. And what do I need
- 40:52Speaker 1: with a wedding ring? And who don't know? I ain't mad?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Who don't know that? Yeah? I can't meet nobody, didn't
- 40:59Speaker 1: go you know? Yeah, I just you know I can't
- 41:03Speaker 1: find nobody. Alogist what you're doing, Steve, Steve Mardrey doing right? Yeah?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Everybody know uncle Steve? And ain't Marge. I got more dog?
- 41:15Speaker 1: Come on and I and I can't. You can't go
- 41:17Speaker 1: nowhere because of technology, right, You're gonna be on TMZ.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You can't go anywhere, man, yea everywhere? They asked by
- 41:27Speaker 1: my wife, Hi, miss Jackie. Yeah, you know what, man,
- 41:31Speaker 1: technology has actually saved this marriage for me. Okay, because
- 41:39Speaker 1: technology then what what do you mean? I mean? You
- 41:42Speaker 1: know it's just you you, you know you. Everybody is
- 41:45Speaker 1: faced with temptation, everybody and everybody's life every day, every day,
- 41:51Speaker 1: and because of technology, it just limits. You ain't get
- 41:54Speaker 1: when when thoughts run across your mind, to let them
- 41:57Speaker 1: run to hey, right here, thoughts on tape, hey, thoughts
- 42:04Speaker 1: on camera, thoughts, thoughts no, no, yeah, no, man, let
- 42:08Speaker 1: that going back. Because you're human. You can't. You cannot
- 42:11Speaker 1: not think wrong thoughts. You can't. You're human life. You
- 42:16Speaker 1: can't act on when you act on the Yeah, that's
- 42:20Speaker 1: the thing that I'm with you. I don't like being
- 42:24Speaker 1: tracked anyway. I don't want to pick up the phone
- 42:26Speaker 1: and say, somebody's taking me. Why is your ass in DC? See?
- 42:30Speaker 1: I can't. I don't want that. You went to DC
- 42:33Speaker 1: from Atlanta? Just yeah, yeah, but you know what, you
- 42:37Speaker 1: know what my job is. So why would the ring
- 42:39Speaker 1: have to call and tell you I'm in DC? You
- 42:41Speaker 1: know why I'm down here? But you're not gonna tell
- 42:46Speaker 1: her before you go to DC that you're going. I'm
- 42:49Speaker 1: probably probably probably will you probably. Yeah, you got this
- 42:54Speaker 1: process right now. Yeah, you got to report everything everything
- 42:59Speaker 1: you were telling me that you ever hold it, Well,
- 43:01Speaker 1: you need to say where you're going going negative you
- 43:06Speaker 1: call no, no, no, no, no, no, no no. You
- 43:08Speaker 1: can call it whatever you want to call, reporting, checking in, sprung,
- 43:12Speaker 1: hooking your nose, change, ball and chain, you call anything
- 43:16Speaker 1: you want to. Yes, you still got to do it,
- 43:20Speaker 1: as I tell you what, don't do it and see
- 43:22Speaker 1: what happens. Right, But but this isn't the point. You
- 43:26Speaker 1: just donna go somewhere to get on plane. Go somewhere
- 43:29Speaker 1: and don't say that nobody out your damn rabbit as
- 43:32Speaker 1: smile want to do that. Well, I ain't been doing it.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Or my wife dropping me all at the airport. What
- 43:41Speaker 1: did you tell me? I'm telling y'all right now listen
- 43:44Speaker 1: to me. This is not for you, Julian. It's like
- 43:47Speaker 1: for everybody. Yeah, this is not for your little thought
- 43:52Speaker 1: you having right there. This is not for you coming
- 43:56Speaker 1: up next, It is the nephew and the Frank phone
- 43:59Speaker 1: call for today. Right after this, you're listening to morning
- 44:03Speaker 1: show coming up about four minutes after the hour. It's
- 44:08Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today and the subject is he
- 44:12Speaker 1: shouldn't be in my purse. Okay, we'll get into that
- 44:17Speaker 1: and just a bit, but right now it is time
- 44:20Speaker 1: for the nephew with today's prank phone call. What you
- 44:23Speaker 1: got for us, nap, Well, we're gonna take it to
- 44:25Speaker 1: the church. They call him the first Lady. I call
- 44:29Speaker 1: her the preacher's wife, the preacher's wife, cat dog. If
- 44:34Speaker 1: you would hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a sister Angela.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Sister Angela, Please, how you doing. My name is Brother Clayton.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I'm calling you from a Great Baptist Church. How are
- 44:47Speaker 1: you doing this morning? Oh I'm fine, I'm fine. Yeah, listen,
- 44:52Speaker 1: I know that your husband, Reverend Reverend Jonathan, is actually
- 44:57Speaker 1: one of the candidates that we may be choosing to
- 44:59Speaker 1: be our pastor since our past pastor has stepped down. Yes, yes, yes,
- 45:04Speaker 1: I'm very proud of my husband. I think you'll make
- 45:07Speaker 1: a very good candidate. As a matter of fact, here
- 45:10Speaker 1: at the church, we've been asking a lot of the
- 45:12Speaker 1: deacons and assistant ministers here have been asking different questions,
- 45:19Speaker 1: different things that they would be doing once they became pastor,
- 45:22Speaker 1: you know, like your first one hundred days, what would
- 45:24Speaker 1: you try and change here at the church or try
- 45:26Speaker 1: and make better? So to speak? Yet, but what my husband,
- 45:30Speaker 1: he's out here right now that you need to speak
- 45:31Speaker 1: to her? No, not right now? What we decided to do, uh,
- 45:35Speaker 1: Sis Angela is actually called the wives and ask them
- 45:39Speaker 1: a few questions. Oh okay, that's a little different. Sure,
- 45:43Speaker 1: and we don't we don't want to take up too
- 45:45Speaker 1: much of your time. You know a lot of times,
- 45:48Speaker 1: if a pastor is stressed at home, nine times out
- 45:52Speaker 1: of ten, he's likely to be stressed at the church.
- 45:56Speaker 1: So I guess, my, my, My biggest question to you
- 45:59Speaker 1: is is your husband stressed at home? Uh? No, not
- 46:06Speaker 1: that I know of. He eats regularly, he's on a
- 46:09Speaker 1: good diet. You know, he gets goes to the doctor regularly.
- 46:12Speaker 1: He gets his physical um pretty good. At home. I
- 46:16Speaker 1: don't have a reason to believe that he's stressed. He
- 46:19Speaker 1: certainly hasn't brought anything to my attention. Okay, No, no,
- 46:22Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I don't think you follow me, s Suster Andrew. What
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm saying, is he stressed behind closed doors? Is he
- 46:32Speaker 1: stressed in that fashion? Um, I'm not I'm not too sure.
- 46:38Speaker 1: I follow you. You said behind closed doors? What exactly
- 46:41Speaker 1: did you mean by that? Is he? Is he stressed
- 46:47Speaker 1: in y'all's relations Is he stressed? Are you asking me
- 46:51Speaker 1: about my personal business? Brother? Well, what I'm saying is
- 46:54Speaker 1: if he's stressed at home, he'll be stressed at the church.
- 46:57Speaker 1: And if he's stressed at the church, then the members
- 47:00Speaker 1: a stress. Then the congregation is stressed. So the stress
- 47:04Speaker 1: start with you. Excuse me, If you are making sure
- 47:08Speaker 1: that he's all right at home, he's gonna be all
- 47:11Speaker 1: right at the chair. I'm sorry, brother. What was your name?
- 47:15Speaker 1: Brother Clayton? Brother Clayton. I appreciate you m conducting whatever
- 47:19Speaker 1: interviews you guys need to conduct with the candidates wives.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I do think that's pretty much personal territory, and I
- 47:26Speaker 1: really don't want to answer those kind of questions. It's
- 47:28Speaker 1: not personal since the Angela when so many other people involved. See,
- 47:33Speaker 1: That's why I'm asking you the question, is your man
- 47:36Speaker 1: stressed behind Clayton? I could assure you, yes that my
- 47:40Speaker 1: husband is not stressed at home. If I get your drift.
- 47:44Speaker 1: He is not stressed behind closed doors, brother, and I
- 47:47Speaker 1: would appreciate you if you don't call. What these kind
- 47:50Speaker 1: of questions are you asking other candidates? Why these kind
- 47:52Speaker 1: of questions? Well, I was the one dedicated to call
- 47:57Speaker 1: to give you a call, and that's the question that
- 47:58Speaker 1: I decided to come up with because I want to
- 48:01Speaker 1: know if a man is gonna be stressed, because if
- 48:02Speaker 1: he's gonna have tension at the church, then then the
- 48:05Speaker 1: congregation is gonna have tension. The church is gonna have tension,
- 48:09Speaker 1: and the church cannot move forward in the direction on
- 48:11Speaker 1: with great My husband and I have been married twenty
- 48:14Speaker 1: to five years and they've been twenty five good years.
- 48:17Speaker 1: If you get my drift, Okay, he is not stressed
- 48:21Speaker 1: at home, and whatever goes on at home, my husband
- 48:23Speaker 1: has sense enough not to take it to the church.
- 48:25Speaker 1: That is not something he's gonna do. So you don't
- 48:27Speaker 1: see about anybody else being stressed at the congregation in
- 48:31Speaker 1: the pulpit nowhere. Okay, we ask it together at home,
- 48:34Speaker 1: and I appreciate if you don't ask you those kind
- 48:36Speaker 1: of questions. But sometimes as well, sometimes a woman does
- 48:41Speaker 1: not realize that a husband is stressed you understand that
- 48:45Speaker 1: there's a possible way that you don't know that he's stressed.
- 48:48Speaker 1: So how can you get let me get your phone
- 48:50Speaker 1: a matter of fact, let me get your full name.
- 48:51Speaker 1: What's your first name? Let's just go with brother Clayton
- 48:54Speaker 1: right now, could you please answer this question? How can
- 48:57Speaker 1: you guarantee that he is full at not stressed? Brother Clayton,
- 49:03Speaker 1: I'm calling the Lord real quick, hold on it, Brother Clayton.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I'm an honorable woman. I'm a woman who stands by
- 49:09Speaker 1: my man. Okay, but you are asking me some questions
- 49:13Speaker 1: that very personal, very private, very confidential. You are asking
- 49:18Speaker 1: me questions that that a question is the safety of
- 49:21Speaker 1: my marriage? Okay, my husband is not stressed and if
- 49:26Speaker 1: I don't send him away from my home stressed, Okay,
- 49:33Speaker 1: how do you know? But what are you doing to
- 49:36Speaker 1: make sure that this less stress? Clayton, I'm about to
- 49:39Speaker 1: end this phone call. Okay. Now, if you know we're
- 49:42Speaker 1: not going to end this phone call that we know
- 49:44Speaker 1: we I need to know the Reverend Jonathan is not
- 49:47Speaker 1: stressed at home. They put they assigned me to talk
- 49:51Speaker 1: to you, and that's what I'm going to do, and
- 49:53Speaker 1: I'm going to leave He is not stressed. I don't
- 49:55Speaker 1: know who told you that the man is not stressed.
- 49:57Speaker 1: If he act to stressed around you, I bet you.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I bet you his stress because you're stressed. Ain't me
- 50:03Speaker 1: right now? Now we're both stressed out. How can we
- 50:05Speaker 1: understand that that man is not stressed. That's the end
- 50:08Speaker 1: of this conversation. Do you understand me? Give me your
- 50:10Speaker 1: full name right now, give me some intimate details, and
- 50:13Speaker 1: then I'll give you my number to cross the line.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You wait till my husband gets here. If this is
- 50:18Speaker 1: gonna cost him mccannidy, does this, so be it, We'll
- 50:20Speaker 1: find another church. I'd have some choice words for you
- 50:24Speaker 1: right now, Brother Clayton. I will give you my name
- 50:27Speaker 1: right now. Do you have a pen? Yes, I'm gonna
- 50:29Speaker 1: write it right now. The letter n N is in
- 50:32Speaker 1: nancy E P. How to spell n E P h

- 53:46Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 53:48Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry letter, Thank you, nephew. He shouldn't
- 53:51Speaker 1: be in my purse. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married
- 53:55Speaker 1: for a very long time to a man that has
- 53:57Speaker 1: taken me to hell and back. Early in our marriage,
- 54:02Speaker 1: he stepped out on me twice, and I'm sure there
- 54:04Speaker 1: have been other incidences of infidelity since then. But I'm
- 54:08Speaker 1: not as eager to do the snooping and searching for
- 54:11Speaker 1: clues anymore, but he is. He's got a problem with
- 54:15Speaker 1: accepting that I'm not a cheater and he should stop
- 54:18Speaker 1: expecting me to mess around on him. He hasn't been
- 54:21Speaker 1: the same since I got a weight loss procedure and
- 54:24Speaker 1: I reclaimed my youth and I almost got back to
- 54:28Speaker 1: my pre baby weight. I got my confidence back, and
- 54:32Speaker 1: I started hanging around a younger female coworker. I have
- 54:35Speaker 1: told him I'm mentoring the young lady because she's clueless
- 54:39Speaker 1: on the subject of sex and how a man should
- 54:41Speaker 1: treat her. He thinks I'm going to get a younger
- 54:43Speaker 1: man and run away with him just because I'm hanging
- 54:46Speaker 1: with a twenty seven year old coworker. Here's a deal,
- 54:50Speaker 1: and I need your advice on how to handle it.
- 54:53Speaker 1: I took my coworker to my gynecologist because she was
- 54:57Speaker 1: having a feminine issue. She had ever been to a doctor.
- 55:01Speaker 1: She was raised by her grandmother, but that's a different story. Anyway.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I took her to the doctor and she got a
- 55:07Speaker 1: terrible diagnosis. So I took it upon myself to help
- 55:11Speaker 1: her get on the right track. I paid for her
- 55:13Speaker 1: medication for her, and I picked up a pack of
- 55:16Speaker 1: condoms and some more personal items for her. I put
- 55:19Speaker 1: it all in my purse so mister nosey husband wouldn't
- 55:22Speaker 1: see it. I have no privacy anywhere in the house.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I'm not sure what got into him, but he rummaged
- 55:29Speaker 1: through my bag and laid the condoms and the bottle
- 55:32Speaker 1: of other stuff on the nightstand for me to see.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I was livid, and I told him I didn't owe
- 55:40Speaker 1: him an explanation. I don't care if he thinks I'm
- 55:42Speaker 1: cheating on him or not. Should I explain it or
- 55:45Speaker 1: let him suffer? Well, now, you just said you didn't care,
- 55:49Speaker 1: But it sounds like we do care. But isn't it
- 55:52Speaker 1: interesting though, that he's managed to turn this all around
- 55:56Speaker 1: on you? But then again, that's what cheaters do. Don't
- 55:59Speaker 1: say your husband knows all the dirt he did, so
- 56:02Speaker 1: he's just suspicious of you now. And like you say,
- 56:05Speaker 1: he can't accept the fact that you're not cheating just
- 56:08Speaker 1: because you know you went and got your youth back.
- 56:11Speaker 1: As you say, no matter what you do, he's gonna
- 56:14Speaker 1: think that he's judging you by his actions. Cheaters think
- 56:17Speaker 1: they know all the cheater moves and all of that,
- 56:20Speaker 1: and now he thinks he found proof in your purse.
- 56:23Speaker 1: And I gotta say that does look bad with you
- 56:25Speaker 1: carrying around some condoms in your purse. If you were cheating,
- 56:29Speaker 1: there would be nothing you could say because you'd be busted.
- 56:33Speaker 1: So should you tell him the truth? That's what you're
- 56:34Speaker 1: asking I say, ask yourself this, If you tell him,
- 56:38Speaker 1: is it going to stop his accusations? Is it going
- 56:41Speaker 1: to make him stop snooping in your bag? I think
- 56:44Speaker 1: the answer is probably not, because the trust in your
- 56:47Speaker 1: entire marriage has been broken for a long time, first
- 56:50Speaker 1: by him, and now he thinks it's you. So sure
- 56:54Speaker 1: you could tell him the truth, but he probably won't
- 56:57Speaker 1: believe you anyway. Those condoms were in your purse and
- 57:00Speaker 1: you told him you didn't owe him an explanation, So
- 57:04Speaker 1: what do you want out of this. That's the question.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Do you want to stay in this marriage? Do you
- 57:09Speaker 1: want to stay here? Is explaining about the girl you
- 57:12Speaker 1: helped and all that? Is that going to fix this marriage?
- 57:15Speaker 1: I mean, surely you don't want it to go back
- 57:17Speaker 1: the way it was. What you're dealing with now, surely
- 57:19Speaker 1: you don't want that. I think this is a much
- 57:22Speaker 1: deeper issue. So I say, think about these questions, and
- 57:26Speaker 1: that's going to give you your answer whether you want
- 57:28Speaker 1: to stay here, deal with this all of that, otherwise
- 57:30Speaker 1: your marriage is doomed. Steve Shirley, really good answer. I
- 57:35Speaker 1: absolutely agree with everything you absolutely said this letter. So
- 57:41Speaker 1: you kind of leave me with no other choice. I
- 57:45Speaker 1: must now dig deeply in between the lines to find
- 57:53Speaker 1: out some other issues in this letter or else I'm
- 57:55Speaker 1: just gonna be repeating what Shirley say. That won't a lie.
- 58:00Speaker 1: You to see my guilt. So let me use my guilt.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I've been married for a very long time and to
- 58:10Speaker 1: a man that has taken me to hell and back. Well,
- 58:14Speaker 1: now let's just stop right here. You've been married a
- 58:18Speaker 1: long time to a man that took you to hell
- 58:20Speaker 1: and back. That that's a strong way to open the letter.
- 58:27Speaker 1: So based on that right there. I think some of
- 58:32Speaker 1: this is payback. I think some of this he bought
- 58:35Speaker 1: on himself. And I think some of this you're using
- 58:39Speaker 1: being vindictive, and I think some of you is just
- 58:43Speaker 1: nine nine nine nine. And all of this has got
- 58:45Speaker 1: he got all this coming. So let's go right here.
- 58:50Speaker 1: He's cheated on me twice, and pretty sure it's been
- 58:53Speaker 1: more incidents but everything. But you know, and now he
- 58:57Speaker 1: got a problem accepting that you are cheater. And he
- 58:59Speaker 1: had stopped expecting you to mess around because that's not
- 59:03Speaker 1: how you are. But now he ain't been the same.
- 59:06Speaker 1: And now let's here we go. Since I got a
- 59:09Speaker 1: weight loss procedure and reclaimed my youth, let's dig a
- 59:16Speaker 1: little bit deeper into what the possibilities of a weight
- 59:21Speaker 1: loss procedure. Let's go now. Weight loss procedures is a
- 59:31Speaker 1: few things you can go to get your fat frozen,
- 59:37Speaker 1: go through that process. A lot of people have talked
- 59:39Speaker 1: about how painful that is. You can go with light
- 59:43Speaker 1: post section, which appears to be a weight loss procedure,
- 59:49Speaker 1: or you can get that rubber band put on your stomach.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I don't know what they call that, because I haven't
- 59:59Speaker 1: looked into that, but those are the things you're doing. Yeah,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I hold it right there. We'll have part two of
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject is he shouldn't be in my purse,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: and we'll get back into it right after this. You're
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: listening Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is he shouldn't be in
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: my purse. This is a letter about a woman that's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: been married a long time, whose man has taken her
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: to hell in back. But now he's and then cheated
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: on this woman more than twice, several times she expect,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and but he's looking for clues for her to see
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: if he cheating. And all this started when she got
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: a weight loss procedure. That's either getting her fat FROs
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: liposuction or getting the rubber band put on her stomach.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Either way, she says, I'm almost back to my pre baby. Wait,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: who that girl the cave. That's a comeback, baby, when
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: you get back to the pre baby. Wait, that's a comeback.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: She'd have made a comeback after all these years. And
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: now she fine, she said, it's she's gotten her confidence back.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Now she walking around in front of you like you stink.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: See that's what that is, you know, walking around in
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: front of you, switching all stuff, putting on clothes. She
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: down that shopping there forever twenty one. She's now all
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: up in the show. Now that BB buying stuff. You know,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: she all down there in the in the missus department
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: and Junior's. She didn't even go up on the top
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: flow no more she get off with the teenagers is
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: that she didn't just buying stuff right here, So all right,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: now we got that, and she started hanging around a
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: younger freemail co worker. And now you told your husband
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: that you're mentoring the young lady because she's clueless on
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: the subject of sex and how a man should treat her. Now,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you married to a man that took you to hell
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and back, so you may not know how a man
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: supposed to treat you, but you damn shn't know how
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you ain't supposed to be treated. And I've always said
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: my dadd had told me knowing what not to do
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: is just as important as knowing what to do, so
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you are qualified in that area. Now on the subject
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: of sex, I don't know you, whether you qualified or not.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: You I don't know what you're teaching her. Oh but
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you know you haven't mentioned that in the letter. I'm
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: just trying to find stuff surely ain't talked about. Let's
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: just so now he thinks I'm trying to get a
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: younger man and run away with him just because I'm
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: hanging with a twenty seven year old coworker. Here's the deal.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I need your advice on how to handle it. I
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: took my coworker to my guy in the collegist because
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: she was having a feminine issue. I don't know anything
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: about this, so I'm just gonna reserve any thoughts for
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: that because that's not my lane. She had never been
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: to a doctor. For you, a woman, you probably need
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: to go see a guy in a collegist somewhere around
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: in here. I'm assuming that you should have been and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: seen one, because you all have different things going on
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: that I know nothing about. She was raised by her grandmother,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: but that's a different story. Anyway. I took her to
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the doctor and she got a terrible diagnosis, so I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: took it upon myself to help get her on the
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: right track. I don't know what the diagnosis could have been.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna get into what I think it
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: is because I'm probably gonna be wrong about that and
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: piss a lot of women off. So let's just Uncle
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Steve know how to stay away from certain subjects. What
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: the terrible diagnosis from the guy in the colleges is?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I know good in here? Well, not to put my
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: foot a knock. Don't stick your toe in this puddle
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: party because they fitna hate your ass, So I'm gonna
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: stay off that. So she said, I paid for her
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: medication for her, and I picked up a pack of
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: condoms and some more personal items for her. Now I
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: don't know what that happened at the guy of colleges
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: that made you pick up a pack of condoms and
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: some more personal items. But now here's why I come
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: in that because you did say condoms. Now I have
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: bought those before, so I feel like, naw, you gonna
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: do whatever. Yeah, whatever the diagnosis she got and your
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: remedy was to pay for the medication. That means something
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: is terribly wrong. But your end of it is you're
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: gonna get her pack of condoms and some more personal items.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I'm assuming that you're thinking that a condom will at
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: least help with this medical issue that she got, cause
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: somebody been done something without a condom and produce a
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: terrible medical results. So now you need to start protecting yourself.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Can I say that, ladies, that's fair, that's what it's
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: okay cool. I put it all in my purse so
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: mister nosey husband wouldn't see it. I ain't got no
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: privacy in the house nowhere. I'm not sure what got
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: into it, but he started rummaging through my bag. Now
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: we have a purse. We have on this show, a
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: professional rummager on this show who goes through things when
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: it comes through the set, like if anybody get a
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: gift basket or anything Mississippi Monica and Stars. So now
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: your husband is one of them people. So I don't
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: really give a damn how your husband feeling about this.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I'm more concerned about that bottle of stuff that was
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: next to the condoms. I'm very curious that's that bottle
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: of stuff. If that was a medication, I think I
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: know what it was. Talk to y'all tomorrow on the
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: strawberry that I have nothing else Monday, All right, leave
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: your comments done. Today's Strawberry Letter at Instagram on Steve
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: ar them and check out the Strawberry letters. Comment to
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: leave your condes. What do you say? I said comments?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Didn't you know I said comments? That's why you don't
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: do the Strawberry Right. Let's do the Strawberry podcast on demand.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Up next, Sports Talk with Junior right after this. You're
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: listening to the String show. Time now for Junior and
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Sports Talk. What you got Junior man, y'all know what
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: it is? The biggest sports during I've been telling you
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: right now. I bet right now that NFL Roger Goodell
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: probably ain't slept. Probate Sports two out. He know, I
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: know all thirty two of these owners ain't slept. It's
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: kind of crazy that Brian Flores, Okay, he just found
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: out that he wouldn't have a job and then a
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: rooted rule. We're gonna be a problem. But let me
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: tell you something. When you accuse the owner and you
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: come out and you say they trying to pay me
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: to tank games just to lose, just the accusation alone. Now,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Hugh Jackson come out and he said he would with
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Cleveland with the Browns, they asked him to do the
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: same thing. Now, why that wasn't working Cleveland up Well,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: first of all, if we did lose a game, were
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: mad and who he picked Johnny manzel with the day
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Donna pick. You're gonna lose him damn game you come
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: up and pick his drunk head. That's what I'm mad about,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: right Hill, We're gonna pup Hugh Jackson ass in Cleveland.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Don't come back up through Hill because if you did
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: lose the games, you picked Johnny Manzael with the damn picks? Okay,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: are you trying to lose game? You don't even understand though,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: we Cleveland, we better not find out this Hittory. We
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: appreciate you coming out for the help out with this class.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Actually shoot you, but if we see you in Cleveland though,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: it's gonna be a sit your waist shutter. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: I'm telling you man, But I just I just don't
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: what does this mean? Meant that? Because as big as
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: this is, as big as this is just for Brown,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: for us to even make this, what does that really say?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Are we saying? And now we found out now that
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: all we ain't got but one black head coach, that's it.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: That's Mike Thoma inne Pittsburgh. The league is seventy percent
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: of African American, seventy percent of American on one black coach,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: and ain't no black owners. It's just like an opportunities.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying, is that is that? Is that
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: the problem we haven't here, It's the problem we've had
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: since the NFL started. It's the problem we have in America. Yeah, industry,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you know, every see sports just got something else to
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: talk about. This is the life that we have in
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: the United States of America. This is the life we've
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: been living. The problem that we have is now the
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: powers that be unite to prove it not to be true.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: They will go to no no limits to prove that
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: they're not racist. See proving that you're not and putting
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: the money in to show that you aren't two different arguments,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and they're trying to make it the same. If that
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: makes sense. I'm here, I'm going to see what happened now,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: All right, junior, thank you. I'm just gonna get stretched
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: way out. It's gonna be a dog right here, don't ye.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: All right, we're coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: We're gonna put a question on the table. Is it
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: possible to take your X back after they broke your heart.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. Well, what you're
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez says she feels so lucky and so proud
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: to be getting a second chance with her boyfriend Ben Affleck.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: J Loo talked about reuniting with her xbiance Ben and
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: the new cover story for People magazine, calling their due
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: over a blessing. She admitted the media circus from their
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: first relationship and public breakup has been prepared to handle
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: life in the public eye this time. Jlo said, it's
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: a beautiful love story that we get a second chance
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: every So the question is, Steve, how do you rebuild
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: a relationship if you want to that's your desire with
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: an X and regain that trust. Some people do go back.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I would think if if nothing you know, like people
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: break up for various reasons, but if there was no
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: infidelity in the breakup. I've known people who've gotten back
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: together with people because there was no infidelity in the breakup.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: You know, time distance got rid of them, they grew apart,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: stuff like that. I think those people find their way
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: back I don't know how to recover from infidelity or
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: if you hurt a person or deeply wounded them. I
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: don't know how they do that. But I don't know
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the cause. At a breakup between Jlo and Affleck, I
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: don't know why they broke up, so when, But when
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: it's infidelity and trust is destroyed and a person that's
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: deeply hurt or humiliated, those I think harder to come
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: back from. I don't know how you do it. I
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: have no ex I can right, yeah, which seems like
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: that's what happened with her in a rod. Why she
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: couldn't that because of the rumors of the infidelity and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: all that. Yeah, we really thought that was good for her.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: She finally found her match and her love and everything.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: And then when it came out that he cheated with
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: there from another charm. I think it was a reality
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: show Ben right in and swooped her up up. Well,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: you know, looking at j Loo, if it was my ex,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: is easy for her to come back. Whatever reason we
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: broke up the first time, I'm coming back. Just be ready.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I don't care who I'm with. We're over no use
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: with that other man. But I'm I'm wiping all that
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: away right now fast. We did man, because usually you know,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: women will take the man back, but a lot of
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: times men won't take the women back, especially for infidelity saying.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: They're saying that depending on who it is, they'll take
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: her back. You know, Hanna can walk in and out
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: of my life over she can cheat on you, and
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: then you would take her back me in front of me?
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: How long? In front of you? Yes? Ye wrong, Hu,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I understand you going through something. I got it, y'all
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: go ahead, y'all want something to eat? I got y'all
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: and her man, I'm gonna tell you right now, Timmy.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: If me, I'm on a call with my woman and
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Jay lot Car say I want your back, get out.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Get out. You heard her. I don't care. It's Jay Low.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Get out. She's coming in here, saucer, She's for the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: saucer in my life. Get out. I'm asking a Hannah man.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: What how you like your steak though, how you like
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: over medium, what you want? How you want you steve?
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You're very quiet here. Yeah, I don't. I don't have
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: no access to be doing back. Util I'm out of
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: that conversation. I don't give a damn what you say
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: what you need. I don't hear. I'm out. I don't
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: even have that in my life. You know, a lot
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: of people feel the way you do. I just don't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: have nothing against them when you done against them at all,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Not saying anything gets them, I know, my stupid ass.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: But not go back that. I'm not can't even mentain,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: and there's nothing make you go back. Now. I wouldn't
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: give a damn day was billionaires. No, man, what I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: wouldn't give a damn if they was billionaires back? Yeah,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: I wish the hell I would for what? Yeah? No,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I did a pain I was in. You can't give
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: me no money for that? Pay all right? All right?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, some thieves
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: took some selfies on a phone they stole. We'll come
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: back and talk about how dumb can you be? Right
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: a couple of dumb thieves in Georgia made their crime
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: easy to solve for the police because they took selfies
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: on the victim's stolen phone. What police say The teenage
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: thieves stole a pickup truck and the owner's cell phone
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: was in the truck. During their joy ride in the
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: stolen truck, the teens decided to have a little fun
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: and took selfies on the phone. They didn't know the
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: phone was set up to automatically upload the pictures to
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: the owner's Google account, and when the owner of the
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: stolen truck noticed the photos, he sent them to the police,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: who easily identified the thieves. They were all arrested the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: next day in a different stolen truck. It was on
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: the second truck by the time they got people. Man,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: these young people, they just they're so caught up and
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: enamored with the technology of day. I'm criminals out there,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: prisoners full of them, dog yeah, and then prisoners full
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: of some really really good people that made a mistakement, right,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: you got the innocent. It ain't gonna damn thing right right,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Frame up all of that. Yeah, and we still got
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: a lot of brothers and sisters in jail right now
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: for the very thing that they've legalized for marijuana. Yes,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: they all need to be all those cases, all those
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: cases for we possession and all like that. They don't
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: the case. Let all them people out there all right, Well,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: look more of a Steve Harvey morning show coming up,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: But thirty three minutes after the hour, we're gonna play
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: around or would you rather up next? You're listening to
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: show time for would you rather? Guys, Let's just get
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: right to it as we always do. Would you rather
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: hold on? Hold hold on? We're doing the first one
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: like we did yesterday. Okay, y'all have to pick A
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: or B, blind A or B, Tommy A or B.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I didn't be yusterday. It just had me out there
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: a little man and anything. I'm gonna go be again.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I think it's time it don'na be again, Junior. Hey,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: against my better judgement, I'm gonna go with Tommy on B.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Would you rather pierce your tongue? Or would you rather
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: pierce both of your nipples? You know what? I'm cool
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: withold beat on. I'm cool. I don't want that in
