- 0:08Speaker 1: felon accounts right which have all been overturned, and I said, Dad,
- 0:11Speaker 1: we either win the White House or you and I

- 0:17Speaker 1: diabolical either the pendulum was.

- 3:02Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Eric Trump has a new book out talking about the
- 3:06Speaker 3: weaponization of the private sector against his father, the government,
- 3:11Speaker 3: the federal government against his father, and state governments that
- 3:14Speaker 3: attacked his family. He was subpoenaed countless times, and you'll
- 3:19Speaker 3: be shocked to hear him talk about how much money
- 3:21Speaker 3: it costs to defend themselves from these frivolous and ridiculous lawsuits.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Senator Cruz and I had the privilege of sitting down
- 3:30Speaker 3: with Eric to talk about his new book, and I
- 3:32Speaker 3: want you to hear what he had to say.
- 3:34Speaker 4: You know, Ben, I got to say We try to
- 3:37Speaker 4: count on being honest and candid with our viewers and listeners,
- 3:42Speaker 4: and yet you just claim that we're going.
- 3:43Speaker 5: To take a break from politics.
- 3:45Speaker 4: And this is about as far away from taking a
- 3:48Speaker 4: break from politics as I can possibly imagine. Today, we
- 3:52Speaker 4: are very pleased to welcome our friend Eric Trump, President
- 3:56Speaker 4: Donald Trump's son, who has a brand new book. A
- 3:58Speaker 4: brand new book came out this week. The book is
- 4:00Speaker 4: entitled Under Siege, My Family's Fight to Save our Nation.
- 4:05Speaker 4: He is in the midst of his nationwide book tour
- 4:07Speaker 4: right now, and and in classic Trump fashion, he's on
- 4:12Speaker 4: the list. And there's only one place to be on
- 4:13Speaker 4: the list, and that is at number one. It's the
- 4:15Speaker 4: number one best selling book in America right now.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Uh.
- 4:19Speaker 5: And Eric, this is your first book. It ain't bad
- 4:22Speaker 5: debuting at number one. Congratulations and welcome mister senator.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Now it will probably be my last book as well,
- 4:27Speaker 1: because we're not I'm not doing this again. You know,
- 4:29Speaker 1: the return, the return on time of books is especially
- 4:32Speaker 1: when you put your heart and soul into it. But yeah,
- 4:33Speaker 1: we're number one on Amazon, We're number one on all
- 4:35Speaker 1: the lists, and it's I mean, it just went viral.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I think you know, people in this country are pissed
- 4:40Speaker 1: off and and mister Centaer, you you've done a better
- 4:42Speaker 1: job fighting against a weaponization of government that I would
- 4:44Speaker 1: say just about anybody other than maybe Donald Trump, right,
- 4:47Speaker 1: who's had to face all of this. And you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I became the pinata in this whole fight because I
- 4:51Speaker 1: was the one guy who didn't have constitutional protections. I
- 4:53Speaker 1: was a civilian, you know, I was the guy that
- 4:55Speaker 1: was running the Trump organization. I was the guy that
- 4:57Speaker 1: ran everything that was outside of Washington in DC from
- 5:00Speaker 1: my father when he went into the White House. And
- 5:03Speaker 1: what they tried to do to us, what they tried
- 5:05Speaker 1: to do to our family, what they tried to do
- 5:07Speaker 1: to this nation, what they tried to do to you
- 5:09Speaker 1: and all your viewers on this show is unthinkable, and
- 5:12Speaker 1: somebody had to materialize it because there's the greatest governmental
- 5:16Speaker 1: corruption this nation has ever seen.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Well, you're right, and they launched everything they had at
- 5:22Speaker 4: your father, at your family, four separate indictments. On top
- 5:27Speaker 4: of that, the asinine case from the New York Attorney
- 5:30Speaker 4: General trying to argue that somehow global international banks are
- 5:38Speaker 4: innocent wifes who are deceived and are apparently are unable
- 5:41Speaker 4: to value real estate because you know, giant banks have
- 5:44Speaker 4: never had to value real estate in the past. I
- 5:48Speaker 4: will confess for me, maybe the most absurd moment of
- 5:52Speaker 4: all of it was when the idiot judge in New
- 5:56Speaker 4: York valued bar a Lago at eighteen million dollars, which
- 6:00Speaker 4: I'll confess I saw it.
- 6:01Speaker 6: I would have bought it for that.
- 6:03Speaker 4: I saw your dad not shortly after that, and I
- 6:06Speaker 4: offered it on the spot. I said, mister President, I'll
- 6:08Speaker 4: give you twenty million right now.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Well they too, I mean, as you as you know.
- 6:14Speaker 4: You can't buy a hot dog stand in Palm Beach
- 6:16Speaker 4: for eighteen million dollars. And and that notion that to me,
- 6:20Speaker 4: it was the most ludicrous. It was a relatively small
- 6:23Speaker 4: detail of what was a pile of idiocy upon idiocy,
- 6:29Speaker 4: But you guys were the targets of it, and and it.
- 6:32Speaker 5: It cannot have been fun.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Mister Center.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I became the most opeenion man in American history for
- 6:38Speaker 1: doing absolutely nothing wrong. I'm not Hunter Biden. I never
- 6:41Speaker 1: had a speeding ticket in my life. I've lived a
- 6:43Speaker 1: very straight, very good life, hard working guy, no games,
- 6:46Speaker 1: never even approached a line. You know, raised right, you know,
- 6:50Speaker 1: and and they tried to destroy us. I was the
- 6:52Speaker 1: one that was ganging calls from the FBI. You remember
- 6:54Speaker 1: the Rushia hoos very well because you were probably the
- 6:55Speaker 1: best person at fighting against it. Eric, I hear you
- 6:58Speaker 1: have secret servers in the basement Trump Tower communicating directly
- 7:01Speaker 1: with the Kremlin. I go, excuse me, I literally started
- 7:03Speaker 1: mister center. I started laughing. I started laughing. I go,
- 7:06Speaker 1: First of all, you don't keep servers in basements, because
- 7:08Speaker 1: basement's flood. Second of all, were like largely cloud based.
- 7:11Speaker 6: And they did it so a.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Greedy woman could get about three extra votes, right, and
- 7:15Speaker 1: they used that as their explanation as to why she lost.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And then it was a peachment number one, and then
- 7:19Speaker 1: it was a peachment number two, and then it was
- 7:21Speaker 1: them attacking Cavanaugh. And then it was one hundred and
- 7:23Speaker 1: twelve subpoenas that I received for again doing nothing wrong.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And then it was a weaponization of every attorney general
- 7:29Speaker 1: and district attorney in this country, whether it be Latitia
- 7:32Speaker 1: James or Alvin Bragg or Cy Vance or Fanny Willis
- 7:35Speaker 1: and her boyfriend in Fulton, Georgia, you know, or Jack
- 7:39Speaker 1: Smith or Comy and everything that they did. Then they
- 7:42Speaker 1: spied on her campaign. Then they did the weaponization of Faiza.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Then they took my father off the ballot in Colorado,
- 7:48Speaker 1: and then they took him off the ballot in Maine.
- 7:50Speaker 1: And when that didn't work, they tried to silence his
- 7:52Speaker 1: voice and get rid of his First Amendment right.
- 7:54Speaker 6: So what did they do?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Took him off of YouTube, took him off of Twitter,
- 7:57Speaker 1: took him off of Facebook, took him off of Instagram.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And when that didn't work, when we popped up true social,
- 8:03Speaker 1: what did they do. They had every judge imposed gag
- 8:05Speaker 1: orders on him and then they rated mar A Lago.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I was the guy that got the call when thirty
- 8:10Speaker 1: FBI agents were outside screaming in a phone to me
- 8:13Speaker 1: turn off the security cameras at mar A Lago. They
- 8:17Speaker 1: did everything they could and then they de banked us,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and then they deplatformed us. And they were doing it
- 8:23Speaker 1: to the people in this country as well. They were
- 8:25Speaker 1: debanking them. They were going after their pastors, they were
- 8:27Speaker 1: going after their churches. They were weaponizing the irs. You know,
- 8:31Speaker 1: they were skipping great people who had worked their butts
- 8:34Speaker 1: off their entire year because of dei hires and literally
- 8:37Speaker 1: ruining upward mobility of people across the country. They were
- 8:41Speaker 1: corrupting their children, they were teaching them revisionist history. This
- 8:44Speaker 1: siege wasn't just against the Trump family, it was against
- 8:47Speaker 1: all of us. It was against both of you. It
- 8:49Speaker 1: was against every person that's watching us right now. And
- 8:52Speaker 1: people are pissed off in this country, and that's why
- 8:55Speaker 1: this book went to number one.
- 8:57Speaker 3: You mentioned mar Lago a second ago and getting that
- 9:00Speaker 3: phone call. Can you just explain how insane that day
- 9:04Speaker 3: must have been because I know people we saw it
- 9:06Speaker 3: on TV, but you were on the inside. And when
- 9:09Speaker 3: you're getting a phone called, they're telling you to turn
- 9:11Speaker 3: your cameras off.
- 9:13Speaker 5: So like, what time of day is it, what are
- 9:15Speaker 5: you doing?
- 9:16Speaker 1: It was about seven fifty eight o'clock in the morning
- 9:18Speaker 1: when I got a call from my team. They say,
- 9:20Speaker 1: the thirty FBI agents and they have a search warrant.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I go, what are they searching? I'm not sure if
- 9:23Speaker 1: I understand, Like we have like such a great relationship
- 9:25Speaker 1: with law enforcement.
- 9:26Speaker 5: It was.
- 9:27Speaker 1: It was bizarre at the time. I go, how would
- 9:28Speaker 1: I not know about this? From Secret Service? How would
- 9:30Speaker 1: I not know? I mean, they didn't give anybody warning
- 9:32Speaker 1: and I'll never forget, I said, I finally figured out
- 9:35Speaker 1: what they were doing, and I said, did anybody let
- 9:37Speaker 1: my father know? And it was my team, really and
- 9:39Speaker 1: they said no, and I go, we'll call him right now,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and we met in his office and that's when he
- 9:42Speaker 1: wrote up that beautiful tweet, as you remember. And the
- 9:45Speaker 1: FBI was so damn pissed that we sent out that tweet.
- 9:48Speaker 1: They wanted to have the narrative, they wanted to be
- 9:50Speaker 1: able to release the story, and instead my father writes
- 9:52Speaker 1: that beautiful tweet. You know, right now, the FBI is
- 9:55Speaker 1: raiding the famous Mara A Lago, my home, you know,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and in the world when the world couldn't stand it.
- 10:01Speaker 1: It was the worst decision that they ever made. And remember, Senator,
- 10:05Speaker 1: they said it was on behalf of Nara right National Archives.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Does anybody I went on Hannity that night, I go,
- 10:10Speaker 1: does anybody actually believe with glorified library send thirty FBI
- 10:15Speaker 1: agents to invade Mara A Lago with firearms? Give me
- 10:19Speaker 1: a break, right, And then sure enough it comes out
- 10:20Speaker 1: there was Joe Biden, and it was Merrick Garland, and
- 10:22Speaker 1: it was the whole host of criminals that weaponized the
- 10:25Speaker 1: entire system. But I'll never forget that call. Thirty FBI
- 10:29Speaker 1: agents outside of mar A Lago. They searched Milania's room,
- 10:32Speaker 1: they search Baron's room. They took attorney client privileged documents,
- 10:36Speaker 1: they took hippa documents.
- 10:38Speaker 6: You can't make it up.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I know you're going to try to terrorize the New
- 10:42Speaker 3: York Times a little bit. That's the hardest thing is
- 10:44Speaker 3: just to screw with them and be at the top
- 10:46Speaker 3: of their list. So everyone listening, I hope you'll buy
- 10:49Speaker 3: the book just so we can screw with them a
- 10:51Speaker 3: little bit. Center you've been at the top of that list.
- 10:53Speaker 3: It's hard to get there.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Well, I will say, Eric, you should brace yourself. It
- 10:57Speaker 4: doesn't matter how many copies of the book you sell.
- 10:59Speaker 4: The New York York Times is going to insist that
- 11:02Speaker 4: that like Left Handed Transgender Witches, is the number one
- 11:05Speaker 4: book in America, And to be fair, in the New
- 11:08Speaker 4: York Times newsroom, it probably is the number one book
- 11:10Speaker 4: in America. But but if you get outside the New
- 11:12Speaker 4: York Times and to the rest of America, there are
- 11:15Speaker 4: a lot of people right now that are going to Amazon.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Go to Amazon right now. By Eric truck Trump's book.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Keep it at number one, Annoy a liberal by two,
- 11:23Speaker 4: buy one for yourself, and buy one to give a
- 11:25Speaker 4: liberal just to drive them crazy, and and and to say,
- 11:28Speaker 4: explain to me again how you think weaponization is a
- 11:32Speaker 4: bad thing. Because because your your liberal friends, to the
- 11:35Speaker 4: extent you have any that they haven't defriended you, they're
- 11:39Speaker 4: not going to have an answer to that. Eric, tell
- 11:41Speaker 4: me what was your dad's reaction when you went in
- 11:43Speaker 4: and and told them, okay, the FBI agents are here.
- 11:47Speaker 4: I assume he was pissed, but like, what was his
- 11:49Speaker 4: immediate reaction when you tell him that.
- 11:51Speaker 6: It was actually remarkably calm.
- 11:53Speaker 1: You know, it's it's you know, I've seen my father
- 11:55Speaker 1: pissed many times, but he doesn't get pissed off and
- 11:58Speaker 1: in situations of kind of like great angle stress. Right,
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's no different than Butler. But you know, almost foreshadow
- 12:02Speaker 1: Butler is the same thing. It's it's I probably would
- 12:05Speaker 1: have been Piston Butler, And I think he was actually
- 12:07Speaker 1: remarkably calm, especially in the aftermath of what happened. And
- 12:10Speaker 1: you know he was always his commist in the worst moments, always,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I mean, and centator. Do you saw many of them?
- 12:16Speaker 1: I mean, you were there for many of them in
- 12:18Speaker 1: so many different ways. You know, he never let emotion fly.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It was it was a very He goes, you gotta
- 12:23Speaker 1: be kidding me, all right, honey, meet me in my office.
- 12:26Speaker 1: You know, we're going to write up a statement. And
- 12:27Speaker 1: that's when he let that truth fly. And you know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: the rest is history. I mean, for the next month,
- 12:31Speaker 1: they had helicopters buzzing over mar a Lago and you
- 12:34Speaker 1: know the scenes of that front gate. You remember this,
- 12:36Speaker 1: the cop car from the front gate of mar Lago.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I mean, mar Lago became, not that it wasn't probably already,
- 12:40Speaker 1: but he became the most famous property in the world
- 12:42Speaker 1: based on that raid and what they did, and then
- 12:45Speaker 1: the aftermath of all of it, we find out Jack
- 12:47Speaker 1: Smith was bringing in classified folders and effectively staging photo
- 12:50Speaker 1: shoots on.
- 12:51Speaker 6: The office floor of my father's office.
- 12:54Speaker 1: But you know, as I said before, guys, I mean
- 12:56Speaker 1: they were going through Malania's closet, they were going through
- 12:59Speaker 1: Baron's room. They they literally they took his medical records
- 13:03Speaker 1: right like hip a related records that pissed off the judge.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I can only tell you they took attorney client documents right.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That also really pissed off Aileen Cannon, the judge on
- 13:13Speaker 1: the case. You just you couldn't believe it. And then
- 13:16Speaker 1: you know, again, all of this was stage. You think
- 13:17Speaker 1: Donald Trump just leaves classified folders fanned out perfectly on
- 13:21Speaker 1: the floor. I mean, it was all staged. It was
- 13:23Speaker 1: all set up. They wanted to imprison him. They wanted
- 13:26Speaker 1: to take his voice. They wanted to imprison him. They
- 13:28Speaker 1: wanted him behind bars. They didn't want him to be
- 13:31Speaker 1: able to campaign. They wanted to weaponize the system in
- 13:34Speaker 1: any way, shape or form, and they weren't able to
- 13:37Speaker 1: do it.
- 13:38Speaker 3: A lot of people remember the deep platforming, and you
- 13:40Speaker 3: mentioned that earlier, and you go back to the end
- 13:43Speaker 3: of his first term in office. But one of the
- 13:45Speaker 3: things you mentioned earlier on was they tried to ruin
- 13:48Speaker 3: your businesses by d banking. You can you explain for
- 13:52Speaker 3: people that don't understand just how critical that was in
- 13:56Speaker 3: a time and the Trump organization. You've been handed the
- 13:58Speaker 3: family business to run it, and now you're finding out
- 14:00Speaker 3: you can't even have banking the way that you need
- 14:03Speaker 3: to have banking to literally run businesses, whether you're big
- 14:05Speaker 3: business or small business. A lot of people listening right now.
- 14:08Speaker 3: If you don't have a bank, you don't have a business.
- 14:10Speaker 6: Yeah, Ben, it was that times one hundred.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I mean they they literally it was coordinated by the administration,
- 14:15Speaker 1: There's no question about it. And they called up and
- 14:17Speaker 1: they said, listen, congratulations, you cancel the account. I was
- 14:19Speaker 1: getting these letters. I got one from Capital One. They
- 14:21Speaker 1: had three hundred bank accounts. And these aren't like baby
- 14:23Speaker 1: bank accounts. These are massive commercial buildings that have hundreds
- 14:27Speaker 1: of tenants, you know, thousands of people working in these buildings,
- 14:31Speaker 1: hundreds if not thousands, of vendors, heavy real estate taxes.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I mean people, hundreds and hundreds of people depend their
- 14:39Speaker 1: livelihoods depend on on these businesses. They've got complicated lock
- 14:43Speaker 1: box provisions and loan you know, loan documents, thousands of
- 14:46Speaker 1: inputs coming in like this, you know, and they just
- 14:49Speaker 1: called up. You know, your accounts are going to get closed.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You've got one or two days to move them, and congratulations,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you're done. All because we wore a hat that said
- 14:56Speaker 1: make America Great Again.
- 14:58Speaker 6: That was read.
- 14:59Speaker 1: These weremmercial buildings, These were condominium associations, These were small
- 15:03Speaker 1: golf courses, these were you know, residential shops. These were
- 15:06Speaker 1: scrow accounts, things that had nothing to do, nothing to
- 15:10Speaker 1: do with politics whatsoever, and they canceled us like we were dogs.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Capital One was the worst. JP Morgan was horrible, Bank
- 15:16Speaker 1: of America was horrible. First Republic was terrible. But it
- 15:20Speaker 1: wasn't just the banks. It was platform Shopify. Shopify literally
- 15:24Speaker 1: gave us a notice they do all the e comm
- 15:27Speaker 1: platforms in the middle of the night turned off our
- 15:29Speaker 1: accounts like we were nothing right. We were selling golf
- 15:31Speaker 1: polos that we have, you know, from mar A Lago,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and they did everything they could to hurt us, to
- 15:37Speaker 1: turn off the rails right again. They wanted our voice gone,
- 15:41Speaker 1: They wanted us bankrupt, they wanted the name off of
- 15:44Speaker 1: every building. They wanted us thrown out of New York.
- 15:46Speaker 1: You had Letitia James that was trying to repossess our assets.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I mean it was almost like forfeiture. It was not constitutional.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Hence the reason the appellate courts throughout the case five
- 15:55Speaker 1: zero and we got a resounding victory two weeks ago
- 15:57Speaker 1: or three weeks ago. Guys, they tried everything they could
- 16:00Speaker 1: and because I was the guy outside of Washington, DC,
- 16:03Speaker 1: because I ran the company, it all fell on me.
- 16:05Speaker 1: That's how I became the most opened person the history
- 16:08Speaker 1: of this country, having never done a damn thing wrong.
- 16:10Speaker 1: They wanted to get to my father coming through me.
- 16:13Speaker 4: That Now, were these business accounts, personal accounts both? I mean,
- 16:17Speaker 4: how many accounts are we talking about?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Roughly like what.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Five five hundred, you know, lots of those being business accounts,
- 16:24Speaker 1: all of them being us. You know, my wife has
- 16:27Speaker 1: a like athletic clothing line. You know, JP Morgan Chase
- 16:30Speaker 1: wouldn't open up an account, so you know, for for her,
- 16:33Speaker 1: she's not Donald Trump, She's not the Trump organization. They
- 16:36Speaker 1: did this to everyone in the family. If you even
- 16:39Speaker 1: came close, you know, if you even came close. I
- 16:42Speaker 1: have a little farm with a couple of buddies. They
- 16:44Speaker 1: canceled that account doesn't wear a Trump.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Name, it can't. They were indiscriminate.
- 16:50Speaker 1: If it was six degrees of sep in narration from Trump,
- 16:53Speaker 1: they canceled us. And honestly, guys, you know, I've been outspoken,
- 16:56Speaker 1: you know, a big fan of you know, cryptocurrency. That's
- 17:00Speaker 1: how I found crypto because I realized how quickly financial
- 17:03Speaker 1: institutions can be weaponized against the American people, and realize
- 17:06Speaker 1: that there's nothing that can be done on you know,
- 17:08Speaker 1: using traditional financial institutions that can't be done better, faster, cheaper,
- 17:12Speaker 1: safer and more efficiently using cryptocurrency.
- 17:16Speaker 6: And I'm the biggest proponent of it.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Did did they even even purport to give you any
- 17:21Speaker 4: explanation or do they just say no, it's canceled like
- 17:24Speaker 4: like that that they didn't Was there any details or
- 17:27Speaker 4: you just get phone calls or get an email and say, okay,
- 17:30Speaker 4: this this account's done.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Other other than a lot of those, you know a
- 17:33Speaker 1: lot of the people that worked in the in the
- 17:35Speaker 1: banks who otherwise said this is the most I can't
- 17:37Speaker 1: believe it. I can't believe what my bank's doing. This
- 17:39Speaker 1: is all political. That's what they're saying in the corridors
- 17:41Speaker 1: every day. They canceled you for political reasons. There's no
- 17:44Speaker 1: other explanation they're telling us. You know, they're telling us
- 17:47Speaker 1: we can't talk to you ever.
- 17:48Speaker 6: Again.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I was unbelievable, and I would not wish that on
- 17:51Speaker 1: my worst enemy. To take the rails of being able
- 17:55Speaker 1: to pay employees, these are housekeepers, these are janitors, these
- 17:58Speaker 1: are engineers, these are secure officers, these are drivers, hospitality workers,
- 18:04Speaker 1: to not be able to pay them a salary, all
- 18:06Speaker 1: because somebody wanted to politicize a system against a candidate
- 18:10Speaker 1: because they happened to be a conservative and they believed
- 18:13Speaker 1: in making America great again.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Sata, this is a story that we're hearing about the
- 18:20Speaker 3: weaponization of the private sector, not the government, the private
- 18:23Speaker 3: sector against the Trump organization. The moment that he just said,
- 18:28Speaker 3: five hundred bank accounts just shut down, I'm shocked by that.
- 18:32Speaker 3: I think you were as well.
- 18:34Speaker 5: That number.
- 18:35Speaker 4: I'd never heard anything remotely close to that. I mean,
- 18:37Speaker 4: that really is stunning. So you're running your families outside businesses,
- 18:43Speaker 4: you get these calls. What do you do when you're
- 18:46Speaker 4: given what you said twenty four hours forty eight hours notice,
- 18:49Speaker 4: like were there banks that were willing to welcome your
- 18:53Speaker 4: business or what did you do with five hundred accounts
- 18:56Speaker 4: being canceled.
- 18:57Speaker 1: You're a lot of attorney generals and you had a
- 18:59Speaker 1: lot of government in tutions that were going to these
- 19:01Speaker 1: banks saying don't even think about it, don't touch that account.
- 19:03Speaker 1: You know, Letitia James was doing that to the bonding
- 19:06Speaker 1: companies when we had to after the initial ruling, when
- 19:08Speaker 1: we had to post a six hundred million dollar bond.
- 19:11Speaker 1: By the way, that that was like five times the
- 19:14Speaker 1: size of the Boeing bond that that made them. You
- 19:16Speaker 1: know that literally, I it was the biggest bond ever
- 19:20Speaker 1: seen in the country, you know. And she was going
- 19:23Speaker 1: to the very same institutions saying, don't even touch that bond.
- 19:26Speaker 1: So we had to post a bond based on the
- 19:27Speaker 1: court before we had everything overturned. And she was going
- 19:30Speaker 1: to the biggest insurance company saying, you don't touch that bond.
- 19:33Speaker 1: You know, you're you're registered in New York and if
- 19:35Speaker 1: you touch that bond, I'm going to think less favorably
- 19:37Speaker 1: on you. That's how badly they weaponize the system. What
- 19:40Speaker 1: do you do when you get those letters? You want
- 19:43Speaker 1: to crawl under your desk. And honestly, I had I
- 19:45Speaker 1: had probably one hundred people in the company that didn't
- 19:48Speaker 1: sleep for a six month period of time, who were distraught.
- 19:51Speaker 6: And thank god, we had enough.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Little local banks you know that that you move all
- 19:54Speaker 1: the accounts unthinkable right to these little local branches who
- 19:58Speaker 1: want to take your money. But these weren't the Morrigan's,
- 20:00Speaker 1: these weren't the Bank of Americas. They were still a
- 20:03Speaker 1: little they were small little mom and pop regional banks
- 20:06Speaker 1: that did the right thing and honestly probably saved us
- 20:09Speaker 1: based on the fact that they were willing to do
- 20:10Speaker 1: the right thing. This didn't just happen to us. I
- 20:13Speaker 1: was on the campaign trail. I'd hear from people every
- 20:15Speaker 1: single day. You know, my bank canceled me. Why well,
- 20:18Speaker 1: my company makes the spring, and the spring goes in
- 20:20Speaker 1: a fishing reel, and that fishing reel sold at bass
- 20:23Speaker 1: pro shops, and bass pro shops sells twelve games duck
- 20:26Speaker 1: hunting Ammo, and they thought the affiliation. I heard this
- 20:29Speaker 1: everywhere I went. I heard it from the crypto guys.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I believed in bitcoin, I believed in stable coin. I
- 20:34Speaker 1: believe in the future of kind of modern finance. And
- 20:37Speaker 1: because I believed in crypto currency, my banks canceled me. Well,
- 20:41Speaker 1: COVID canceled me, Bank of America canceled me. Guys, I
- 20:44Speaker 1: heard this all over the place. You know, we need
- 20:47Speaker 1: to make this illegal, and it is. It's illegal in
- 20:49Speaker 1: a lot of states and under a lot of banking clauses.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But the fact that you can literally, I mean, could
- 20:55Speaker 1: you imagine if if eighteen and TI or of riz
- 20:57Speaker 1: and just decided to cancel all conservatives phones.
- 21:00Speaker 6: Yeah. Right.
- 21:02Speaker 1: If you can't bank, you can't survive. If you can't bank,
- 21:05Speaker 1: you can't eat. If you can't bank, you can't pay employees.
- 21:09Speaker 1: And yet they turned us off like we were dogs.
- 21:12Speaker 3: How much money do you think that Trump when you
- 21:14Speaker 3: guys were out during the four years and under siege
- 21:17Speaker 3: like this, How many business deals got blown up because
- 21:19Speaker 3: people were afraid even to just do business with you,
- 21:22Speaker 3: because they're afraid their business would be affected negatively and
- 21:24Speaker 3: they could be targeted. I'm assuming that was a reality
- 21:28Speaker 3: for quite some time.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Well, I talk a lot about it in the book.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I mean there were reporters that just made their whole livelihoods.
- 21:33Speaker 1: David Farrenholt from the Washington Post and and and others,
- 21:36Speaker 1: you know, made their entire livelihoods calling up, you know,
- 21:40Speaker 1: vendors of ours, calling up our employees, calling up brides
- 21:43Speaker 1: and grooms that we're gonna get married at one of
- 21:44Speaker 1: the properties, one of the hotels.
- 21:47Speaker 3: And they were harassing people that were getting married at
- 21:49Speaker 3: Trump resorts.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Oh I have I have more emails than you can
- 21:53Speaker 1: possibly imagine. You know, I hear you're gonna go get
- 21:56Speaker 1: married at at MMR Lago. Oh really, you know this
- 21:58Speaker 1: might have to make the front cover of our respective paper.
- 22:02Speaker 1: You know, can you please give me comment? And these
- 22:04Speaker 1: brides and grooms are saying, I just want to get
- 22:05Speaker 1: married in peace, you know, I just you know, there's
- 22:08Speaker 1: a beautiful property. I'm not a political person. I just
- 22:11Speaker 1: you know it's it's a five star property. I love
- 22:14Speaker 1: the place. It's convenient, my family lives nearby. Whatever the
- 22:17Speaker 1: hell of the reason they were doing that. They were
- 22:19Speaker 1: extorting employees. They were going up to employees, and they
- 22:21Speaker 1: frankly tried to do it to me. Hey, you tell
- 22:24Speaker 1: us anything about Donald Trump, will let you go.
- 22:26Speaker 6: You know, all your problems.
- 22:28Speaker 3: They tried to turn you against your own father.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Alvin Bragg, Are you kidding me? The Cyrus Vance, all
- 22:35Speaker 1: of them. They weaponized every da in and AG to
- 22:39Speaker 1: try and flip every single person to say anything negative,
- 22:43Speaker 1: to get any negative testimony against Donald Trump for their
- 22:46Speaker 1: own political purposes. Absolutely, that was the whole game they played.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And no one in our company broke. Guys, this was
- 22:52Speaker 1: the siege that I dealt with every single day, right,
- 22:55Speaker 1: I mean it was it was all of these factors
- 22:57Speaker 1: that came together, all at once, all the time, doing
- 23:00Speaker 1: anything they could to to to just chop us off
- 23:04Speaker 1: at every single I mean, when they made up the
- 23:06Speaker 1: dirty dossier, when they made up right, I mean, they
- 23:09Speaker 1: have stories about prostitution in there, about golden you know,
- 23:13Speaker 1: what's right. What do you think they were trying. They
- 23:15Speaker 1: were trying to divorce my father, They were trying to
- 23:16Speaker 1: destroy his marriage. They were trying to break up our family.
- 23:20Speaker 1: That's what they were trying to do. Also, a greedy
- 23:22Speaker 1: woman could get, you know again, two more votes. These
- 23:25Speaker 1: people are sick, These people are deranged, and there's been
- 23:28Speaker 1: zero accountability for any of it. And as a son
- 23:32Speaker 1: who fought by my father's side every single day during
- 23:35Speaker 1: this battle, somebody had to tell this story. Somebody had
- 23:38Speaker 1: to tell the inside perspective of the lens that a
- 23:41Speaker 1: corrupt government will go to besides just spying on campaigns
- 23:45Speaker 1: and despite just you know, raiding homes, you know, all
- 23:48Speaker 1: the things that they did to try and destroy us,
- 23:50Speaker 1: to try and destroy make America great again, and try
- 23:53Speaker 1: and destroy conservatives all across the country.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Look, it was unmitigated evil, and it was driven part
- 23:59Speaker 4: of it was driven by hate. Today the defining characteristic
- 24:03Speaker 4: I think of the Democrat Party. Is they hate your father. Yeah,
- 24:07Speaker 4: and they hate your family. I mean that anything connected
- 24:10Speaker 4: to your father they hate. And I think it also though,
- 24:14Speaker 4: was a deep contempt for democracy. I think every one
- 24:17Speaker 4: of these indictments. I think the weaponization that we saw
- 24:20Speaker 4: their underlying terror is that the voters would do what
- 24:24Speaker 4: they did in November of twenty twenty four and vote
- 24:26Speaker 4: to re elect your father. And this was all about
- 24:29Speaker 4: undermining democracy and preventing the voters from doing that. You know, Eric,
- 24:33Speaker 4: you mentioned earlier that you describe yourself as as the
- 24:36Speaker 4: most subpoena man in America. How many subpoenas did you get?
- 24:40Speaker 4: And and and did you testify a lot of times?
- 24:42Speaker 4: Were they demanding documents? What subpoenas were coming?
- 24:45Speaker 6: In one hundred and twelve subpoenas.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I sat in more depositions than any human being in
- 24:49Speaker 1: the history of of of depositions. And by the way,
- 24:52Speaker 1: these are like big boy subpoenas, right, They're all coming
- 24:54Speaker 1: from you know, your close friend Elizabeth Warren as we
- 24:56Speaker 1: like to call her Pocahontas, and many and many others
- 25:00Speaker 1: we turned over. I mean, they would ask for document discovery,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you know, please give us every email in the company
- 25:05Speaker 1: and they would list a thousand words, but aside from that,
- 25:07Speaker 1: they would list national and international. Well, all our hotels
- 25:10Speaker 1: are Trump International Hotel, and all our golf courses are
- 25:12Speaker 1: Trump National Golf Course. You could probably see where this
- 25:15Speaker 1: is going. Every email signature of every person in the
- 25:19Speaker 1: company either has the word national or international in it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: That's their fishing expedition. I actually brought this to the
- 25:24Speaker 1: Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court specifically told them you
- 25:26Speaker 1: can't fish right, and they did it anyway. The judges
- 25:29Speaker 1: didn't give a damn. They wanted to find any comma
- 25:32Speaker 1: that was out of place, and they couldn't. I mean,
- 25:35Speaker 1: in the Letitia James trial, literally Deutsche Bank was on
- 25:38Speaker 1: the stand saying that Trump was the best lender that
- 25:41Speaker 1: they've ever had.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 25:42Speaker 1: We made them hundreds of millions of dollars, paid off
- 25:44Speaker 1: every loan, paid it off ahead of time, never missed
- 25:47Speaker 1: a payment. Even in the darkest days of COVID when
- 25:49Speaker 1: they made a shutdown our properties, we never missed, we
- 25:53Speaker 1: never defaulted, we never breached a covenant. And then one
- 25:56Speaker 1: day I wake up to the nightmare of your fine
- 25:58Speaker 1: six hundred million dollars for doing the thing wrong with
- 26:01Speaker 1: banks that loved us, that testified that they loved us.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I mean, it was you know, and that's because you
- 26:05Speaker 1: had a crooked judge again got overturned five zero at
- 26:09Speaker 1: the next court.
- 26:10Speaker 6: But they rigged out the entire system.
- 26:12Speaker 1: And you're seeing them do that right now, right, You're
- 26:14Speaker 1: seeing them do that in Washington, DC, where ninety four
- 26:16Speaker 1: percent of the cases that go in front of the
- 26:18Speaker 1: lower course are literally, you know, going against the administration
- 26:23Speaker 1: and then they all have to go up on a
- 26:24Speaker 1: po and get overturned. But guys, the beautiful thing about
- 26:27Speaker 1: the story is we won, right.
- 26:29Speaker 6: I mean, the.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Media loss, the media lost their credibility. No one likes
- 26:33Speaker 1: the mainstream media. I mean, my wife is on Fox
- 26:36Speaker 1: News on a Saturday and nine pm, and she's getting
- 26:39Speaker 1: four extra ratings of CNN on the same time slot
- 26:43Speaker 1: on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in primetime slots.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Right, no one likes the mainstream media.
- 26:49Speaker 1: ABC's dead, NBC's dead, CNN's dead, and independent voices like
- 26:53Speaker 1: these podcasts are winning the day.
- 26:56Speaker 4: And by the way, she is doing an awesome job.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I had a chance to be on her show, and
- 27:00Speaker 4: she's she's a great interviewer because she's relaxed, she's having fun,
- 27:04Speaker 4: she's asking real questions and and it's night and day. Uh,
- 27:08Speaker 4: you know, I I will occasionally do do CNN. Poor
- 27:11Speaker 4: Ben was on CNN for six seven years. I actually
- 27:14Speaker 4: think he has a padded room and he like like
- 27:16Speaker 4: puts on a straight actuality.
- 27:17Speaker 5: He remembers those times.
- 27:19Speaker 6: Fighting comedies for seven years.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Hey, listen, I just came off Caitlyn Collins about twenty
- 27:23Speaker 1: minutes ago.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Right, So it's not some prayers, you know, it's it's
- 27:31Speaker 3: so bad.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Let me ask you when all of this was coming in.
- 27:36Speaker 4: And it is not exaggeration to say there has never
- 27:39Speaker 4: been a political leader subject to more weaponization.
- 27:44Speaker 5: More assaults, more.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Insanely unfair attacks than that than your father has been.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Was there ever time that that that you felt yourself
- 27:56Speaker 4: giving in to despair? And and do you think your
- 27:59Speaker 4: dad ever did?
- 28:00Speaker 5: Now?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Honestly, it's like we're like masochistic, like we like pain
- 28:03Speaker 1: or something along those lines. Right, It's like a weird trade, right,
- 28:06Speaker 1: And I think it served us well. But now I
- 28:08Speaker 1: think we were so pissed off at that point. We
- 28:10Speaker 1: wanted to fight and we wanted to win, and we
- 28:12Speaker 1: want to save the Constitution. We want to save the
- 28:14Speaker 1: American flag. We wanted to save religion in society. We
- 28:17Speaker 1: want to save the Second Amendment. We want to end
- 28:20Speaker 1: end wokeness. We wanted to stop the DEI nonsense. You know,
- 28:25Speaker 1: men my size swimming in women's sport. We wanted to
- 28:28Speaker 1: save the greatest country in the world against absolute lunacy.
- 28:32Speaker 6: And so we never gave up. We never stopped fighting.
- 28:34Speaker 1: We went out there and we punched back every single day,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and we did that as a family. I never left
- 28:38Speaker 1: that stage, and honestly, I've never been more proud of
- 28:41Speaker 1: a human being in my life.
- 28:43Speaker 3: All Right, So our guest with us is Eric Trump. Center.
- 28:46Speaker 3: You and I were just talking with him about this
- 28:48Speaker 3: really his family being under siege. You talked about these
- 28:52Speaker 3: big boy subpoenas part of that is to financially hurt you.
- 28:57Speaker 3: What did you, guys spend just doing the fighting of
- 29:02Speaker 3: all the lawsuits against you during that four year period.
- 29:05Speaker 3: How much did it cost you?
- 29:07Speaker 6: Roughly four hundred million, guys.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I laugh when people, oh Trump is profiting off of government,
- 29:13Speaker 1: I go, wait, wait, excuse me. If you want to
- 29:15Speaker 1: come in, I'll break down the finances you want to
- 29:18Speaker 1: Trump's profit. We spent four hundred million dollars to defend
- 29:23Speaker 1: ourselves against nonsense, the fact that we did not have
- 29:26Speaker 1: secret servers communicating with the Kremlin, the fact that Don
- 29:29Speaker 1: wasn't a Russian agent. Remember you had Adam Schiff out
- 29:33Speaker 1: there every single day. Donald Trump Junior is a Russian agent. Guys,
- 29:37Speaker 1: if he wasn't, if he wasn't protected by the speech
- 29:40Speaker 1: and debate laws, you would have, honestly, the guy would
- 29:43Speaker 1: have been worth a zero. He would have been living
- 29:44Speaker 1: in a shoe box based on the fact that you
- 29:46Speaker 1: would have sued him for slander and taken everything that
- 29:49Speaker 1: he ever had. It was all made up lies. They
- 29:53Speaker 1: did everything they possibly could to take us down. We
- 29:55Speaker 1: spent over four hundred million dollars between that. You know, Letitia,
- 29:58Speaker 1: you know Alvin braggs I advance, you know if Fanny, I mean,
- 30:03Speaker 1: I could.
- 30:03Speaker 6: Go on and on the raids themar alig.
- 30:05Speaker 4: What was the worst to deal with Between Alvin braggs
- 30:07Speaker 4: I vance, Letitia, James jack Smith?
- 30:10Speaker 5: Who was the worst?
- 30:11Speaker 6: Probably did Letitia? Have you want to know the truth?
- 30:13Speaker 1: I mean, it was so corrupt and I don't know
- 30:17Speaker 1: Alvin braggbys you had Brshawn, I mean, Judge Barshawn's daughter
- 30:19Speaker 1: is like that, the head digital fundraiser for the Democratic Party,
- 30:23Speaker 1: and the guy wouldn't recuse himself, and literally, you'd be
- 30:26Speaker 1: sitting in these courtrooms, guys, and I would not leave
- 30:28Speaker 1: my father's side. I sat next to him every single day.
- 30:31Speaker 1: If he was there, I was gonna be there as
- 30:33Speaker 1: a son to support him, you know. And most of
- 30:35Speaker 1: the time some of these cases I wasn't gagged in
- 30:38Speaker 1: so normally I was the guy in the courthouse steps,
- 30:40Speaker 1: you know, shouting and yelling at the cameras as to
- 30:42Speaker 1: what the hell was actually going on, because that's the
- 30:43Speaker 1: only way you could communicate a message. But guys, I
- 30:46Speaker 1: mean you had liberal and I mean liberal reporters who
- 30:49Speaker 1: were in that courtroom shaking their heads saying none of
- 30:52Speaker 1: this makes any sense. I mean, they shut down all
- 30:55Speaker 1: of Manhattan Lower Manhattan for a hundred thousand dollars payment
- 30:59Speaker 1: that my father didn't even make, made by a lawyer.
- 31:02Speaker 1: They indicted him thirty four times. I mean, you know,
- 31:05Speaker 1: al Capone had had one felony indictment. They indicted my
- 31:08Speaker 1: father thirty four times for one hundred thousand dollars payment,
- 31:12Speaker 1: by the way, by a district attorney who ran on
- 31:14Speaker 1: the premise, you know, of reducing what you know, just
- 31:18Speaker 1: decriminalizing just about anything. You know, you can shoot somebody
- 31:20Speaker 1: in the face in Times Square and it was decriminalized,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and you're gonna let them out, and you know you're
- 31:25Speaker 1: gonna have community policing and all sorts of nonsense. I mean,
- 31:27Speaker 1: he ran on the premise of literally emptying Rikers Island
- 31:30Speaker 1: so you had no criminals in there. Yet you know,
- 31:32Speaker 1: thirty four felonies in six month period of time is
- 31:35Speaker 1: shutting down New York in the FDR drive every day
- 31:37Speaker 1: over one hundred thousand dollars.
- 31:38Speaker 6: I mean, it wasn't believable.
- 31:40Speaker 4: If only your father were mugging people in Times Square,
- 31:44Speaker 4: then Alvin Bragg would never have prosecuted him. But instead
- 31:47Speaker 4: he committed the unspeakable sin of not only being president
- 31:50Speaker 4: of the United States, but being an extraordinarily successful and
- 31:54Speaker 4: bold president of the United States, which which is an
- 31:57Speaker 4: unpardonable sin. All right, we don't have much much time left,
- 32:00Speaker 4: but but I want to take it a little bit
- 32:02Speaker 4: lighter and and ask what was it like like your
- 32:06Speaker 4: father is is unique. I've never in my life, have
- 32:10Speaker 4: I met anyone remotely like your father. He and I
- 32:13Speaker 4: have spent a lot of time together. He has extraordinary courage.
- 32:16Speaker 4: But before he was president, what was it like growing
- 32:20Speaker 4: up as a kid with Donald Trump as your father? Like, like, like,
- 32:23Speaker 4: how what was he like as a dad when you
- 32:25Speaker 4: were ten?
- 32:27Speaker 6: Honestly, the greatest dad you can ever imagine.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Expected big things from us, right, I mean every day
- 32:31Speaker 1: I go give him kiss before I went to school. Honey,
- 32:34Speaker 1: no drink drinking, no drugs, no smoking. You better get
- 32:36Speaker 1: good grades. And by the way, never trust anybody. Right
- 32:38Speaker 1: he did once in a while I had that he
- 32:39Speaker 1: never never trust anyone. Hey, that's probably that was going
- 32:42Speaker 1: to be. I said, I've probably benefited us pretty well,
- 32:45Speaker 1: so amazing guy. You know, listen, we're spoiled as hell,
- 32:48Speaker 1: and that we lived in you know, Trump Power. We
- 32:49Speaker 1: had a beautiful roof over our head. We were always
- 32:51Speaker 1: well fed. We we had the best education. But we
- 32:54Speaker 1: were never handed money. We're never handy cash. If we
- 32:57Speaker 1: wanted something, if I wanted a fishing rod, congratulations, your
- 32:59Speaker 1: work for it. I got on our construction sites when
- 33:02Speaker 1: I was eleven years old, doing demo, doing electrical HVAC
- 33:05Speaker 1: you know, running back hose excavators. You know, I grew
- 33:09Speaker 1: up working with my hands on our construction sites, with
- 33:11Speaker 1: many of the guys that work for me today. And
- 33:13Speaker 1: you know what, he wanted us to learn a trait.
- 33:15Speaker 1: He wanted us to learn the value of a dollar.
- 33:17Speaker 1: And by the way, he wanted us to be tired
- 33:19Speaker 1: as hell at the end of the day. You know,
- 33:20Speaker 1: because listen, don't give Type A kids or any kid.
- 33:23Speaker 1: But don't give Type A kids money or free time,
- 33:26Speaker 1: because bad things happen. And he was an amazing father.
- 33:30Speaker 1: He is an amazing father. And everything we've ever done,
- 33:32Speaker 1: we fought together, whether it's real estate, whether it was
- 33:34Speaker 1: The Apprentice.
- 33:35Speaker 6: I was on that for seven seasons. And then in politics.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I mean, when he decided to run, he said to us,
- 33:40Speaker 1: he goes, you know, kids, let's do this. You know,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I was on Megan Kelly. I didn't know what the
- 33:43Speaker 1: hell immigration was. I mean, Senator, this was not my world.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I built, you know, hotels, and all of a sudden,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'm in the.
- 33:50Speaker 6: Middle of box, I a wall, and now you're on TV.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I've got ninety illegal immigrants around me, and I'm battling
- 33:55Speaker 1: all of them. And I don't know the first damn
- 33:57Speaker 1: thing about illegal immigration, right. I mean, like, this is
- 33:59Speaker 1: not the world that we came from. But my father's
- 34:02Speaker 1: a remarkable guy. My mother was an amazing powerhouse and strict,
- 34:07Speaker 1: demanded manners, demanded respect, demanded work ethic and either the
- 34:11Speaker 1: greatest parents you can ever imagine. I spent a lot
- 34:13Speaker 1: of time in underseage talking about, you know, being raised
- 34:15Speaker 1: by them, and you know, it is unique in so
- 34:17Speaker 1: many ways, but they they did everything they could in
- 34:19Speaker 1: this strange world that we lived in to ground us
- 34:22Speaker 1: and make sure we turned out to be hard workers, normal,
- 34:26Speaker 1: you know, and didn't have any of these kind of
- 34:27Speaker 1: Hunter Biden esque problems. I don't have a laptop from hell,
- 34:31Speaker 1: you know. I don't do finger paintings selling it to
- 34:33Speaker 1: you know, foreign nationals all over the world. You know,
- 34:36Speaker 1: never married my you know, my brother's ex wife, Like,
- 34:39Speaker 1: never did that kind of stuff. No drugs, no you know,
- 34:41Speaker 1: no perversion. I was always a good kid who believed
- 34:44Speaker 1: in God and believed in hard work and you know,
- 34:46Speaker 1: lived an honest life.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Eric.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I can't tell you how many times, dozens, if not
- 34:51Speaker 4: hundreds of times people have commented that one of the
- 34:53Speaker 4: things they admire.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Most about your dad.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Is is you and your brothers and sisters, and and listen,
- 35:00Speaker 4: it is hard for for any successful person to to
- 35:04Speaker 4: raise good kids. It's challenging. There's a lot of pressure.
- 35:08Speaker 4: And and you know, I I know know your entire family,
- 35:12Speaker 4: and I will say literally people early on throughout the
- 35:16Speaker 4: process they'll comment, well, you know, somehow his kids are
- 35:19Speaker 4: like like not messed up and incredibly successful and put together.
- 35:23Speaker 4: And and I mean, it's all right, let me ask you.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Let's let let's say we have some young parents that
- 35:28Speaker 4: are listening to this podcast. Are there any lessons a
- 35:32Speaker 4: young parent by the way, Uh, you know Ben, Ben
- 35:35Speaker 4: has young kids, I have teenage. Are there any lessons
- 35:38Speaker 4: any lessons from your dad that that young parents should know,
- 35:41Speaker 4: or lessons that that you've tried to apply.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, keep them poor and make them start working early. Honestly,
- 35:48Speaker 1: I mean that's what it is. Keep keep them poor.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Don't don't give type A kids money and don't give
- 35:52Speaker 1: them endless time. That's just a bad recipe, right, And
- 35:56Speaker 1: and uh, you know, I can't tell you, guys how
- 35:57Speaker 1: many friends I had, you know, who were who were here,
- 36:00Speaker 1: who went to school with me, and you know, three
- 36:02Speaker 1: quarters of them ended up in rehab and a lot
- 36:04Speaker 1: of them went down bad roads. And guess what they
- 36:06Speaker 1: were getting ferraris you know when they're you know, sixteen
- 36:08Speaker 1: years old, Like, what do you ever want to aspire
- 36:11Speaker 1: to to get if that's if that's how you're being raised.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I mean, does it surprise you that those people don't
- 36:16Speaker 1: have work ethic? Does it surprise you that they would
- 36:18Speaker 1: go down bad roads? And my father would never let
- 36:21Speaker 1: that happen to us. And you know, he made us
- 36:23Speaker 1: work our butts off. And believe me, if I wasn't
- 36:25Speaker 1: good at what I did real estate wise, I would
- 36:28Speaker 1: not be in this chair.
- 36:29Speaker 6: I mean, forget about nepotism for a second.
- 36:31Speaker 1: It you know, if we weren't incredibly capable, believe me,
- 36:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't be running one of the largest real estate
- 36:35Speaker 1: empires anywhere in the world. And he made us work,
- 36:38Speaker 1: and he made us prove that we were good at
- 36:39Speaker 1: what we do, and we fought every single day, and
- 36:42Speaker 1: we'ren an incredibly tight family. And he's a remarkable person.
- 36:45Speaker 1: He's my best friend. I love him to death, and
- 36:47Speaker 1: I'm so proud of him, especially in a week where
- 36:49Speaker 1: he's accomplished as much as he had. I am so
- 36:52Speaker 1: damn proud of what he of what he did, and
- 36:54Speaker 1: what he's accomplished and the hell.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Of a journey. Guys. It's all worth it. This is
- 36:59Speaker 6: all worth it.
- 36:59Speaker 1: The sea is all worth it based on the great
- 37:02Speaker 1: things that are happening to our country and our world.
