- 1:46Speaker 1: the water? The water got Come? Come on your thing,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now? Want and only
- 2:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yoh man. God is
- 2:15Speaker 1: in the blessing business all day every day. God got
- 2:20Speaker 1: hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes out every day.
- 2:25Speaker 1: All I want to do is be the recipient that
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm the recipient of what He has for me. That's
- 2:34Speaker 1: all I want. I just want God's favor, and I go.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I want God's blessings. You know, of course I need
- 2:42Speaker 1: his mercy and his grace, But I just want his
- 2:46Speaker 1: blessings and his favor. I want. I want that in
- 2:51Speaker 1: my life because it does things for me that I'm
- 2:54Speaker 1: absolutely incapable of doing for myself. And I've been a
- 2:58Speaker 1: recipient of many of those and you can be the
- 3:01Speaker 1: recipient of them too. You already are, really, really, you
- 3:06Speaker 1: already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's a blessing.
- 3:11Speaker 1: If you're getting one day closer to anything you're trying
- 3:14Speaker 1: to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let me talk
- 3:18Speaker 1: to you about this part right here, folks, because this
- 3:19Speaker 1: is the part that messages people up a great deal.
- 3:22Speaker 1: What happens when you get off track? What is that?
- 3:27Speaker 1: What does that mean? When you get off track? See,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I've been off track. I can't tell you how many times,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and it happens in so many aspects of your life.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But but what is it that makes getting off track
- 3:43Speaker 1: so debilitating to some people? You know, there are some
- 3:46Speaker 1: people who want stay off track. They off course, they
- 3:50Speaker 1: off the dream, they own to something else. And you
- 3:54Speaker 1: cannot allow the fact that you've gotten off track to stop.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You can't tell you something. Everybody gets off track. There
- 4:06Speaker 1: are people who are living their life's dreams in spite
- 4:12Speaker 1: of getting off track. See what happens when you get
- 4:15Speaker 1: off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The simple
- 4:19Speaker 1: thing is just to get back on track. Now, that's
- 4:21Speaker 1: that's But that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve? Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: Because see, people, when you get off track, here's some
- 4:28Speaker 1: of the things that happened. See you get the here
- 4:32Speaker 1: come to nay sayers, some of them from the outside,
- 4:35Speaker 1: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 4:40Speaker 1: get off track. See, I told you, I told you.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You know you. You start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 1: this is all just because you got off track. It's
- 4:56Speaker 1: not for you. Okay. Here's another one. It ain't meant
- 5:00Speaker 1: to be. You can hear it all, you can say it. Well,
- 5:04Speaker 1: I guess it's just not meant to be. But let
- 5:09Speaker 1: me ask you a question, though, who made the rule
- 5:13Speaker 1: that when you get off track you can't get back on?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Who made that rule? Where has that written that once
- 5:22Speaker 1: you get off track you can't get back on? See,
- 5:26Speaker 1: because I'm gonna tell you something, folks, there's no such rule.
- 5:30Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite. See,
- 5:36Speaker 1: everybody in pursuit of a dream, a goal and aspiration
- 5:40Speaker 1: or a mission, it's going to get off track. Sometimes
- 5:45Speaker 1: you're going to get derailed. They are going to be
- 5:48Speaker 1: days where you're not going to get it right. That
- 5:50Speaker 1: are going to be days where you feel like giving up.
- 5:53Speaker 1: There's going to be days when you're just gonna flat
- 5:55Speaker 1: out get it wrong. That's the journey. But let me
- 5:59Speaker 1: tell yourself. Every successful person that I know, ever met,
- 6:03Speaker 1: talked to, set out, and chopped it up with, have
- 6:05Speaker 1: shared one thing in common. We all get off track.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We all get it wrong along the way. I don't
- 6:14Speaker 1: care who the person is. The president got it wrong
- 6:16Speaker 1: along the way. Your pastor got it wrong along the way.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Qui Director Gui got it wrong along the way. The
- 6:25Speaker 1: principle at your school got it wrong. Along the way.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The valor victoria of your class got it wrong. Along
- 6:33Speaker 1: the way. The star of the team got it wrong
- 6:38Speaker 1: along the way. They've all been off track. Your boss
- 6:43Speaker 1: down at your job, he got it wrong along the way.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Your immediate supervisor got it wrong along the way. Everybody
- 6:53Speaker 1: I know that has any measure of success in every
- 6:56Speaker 1: level that you call success, however you want to label it,
- 7:00Speaker 1: has gotten off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Listen to me, it is impossible not to get off
- 7:11Speaker 1: track in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It
- 7:17Speaker 1: is impossible. Don't you let nobody tell you that they
- 7:22Speaker 1: got through life unscathed. That they made it because they
- 7:26Speaker 1: was just so determined and I would let nothing turn
- 7:29Speaker 1: me back. Yeah, you might not have let nothing turn
- 7:32Speaker 1: you back because you hear all but you thought about it. Oh,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 7:42Speaker 1: They just want you to think as much as you
- 7:45Speaker 1: can about them. So when they tell you the story,
- 7:48Speaker 1: they leave out the stuff alone the way it was
- 7:51Speaker 1: just hard work and determination that got me here. No
- 7:54Speaker 1: it wasn't, No, it wasn't. It was the fact that
- 7:57Speaker 1: you got off track and the grace and murder. And
- 8:00Speaker 1: see if God allowed you to get back on, His
- 8:03Speaker 1: forgiveness allowed you to get back on because you would
- 8:06Speaker 1: not believe what some of the people have done. So
- 8:09Speaker 1: when you get off track, don't allow the naysayers outside
- 8:14Speaker 1: and the big naysayer inside, because let me tell you something,
- 8:18Speaker 1: the biggest naysayer of them all comes from inside. See,
- 8:22Speaker 1: it don't matter what other people say out there. It
- 8:24Speaker 1: takes some time for you to learn this. And I
- 8:26Speaker 1: understand because it took me some time to learn it. See,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I have a lot of naysayers out there, but I
- 8:32Speaker 1: ain't operating for them, operating function for the ones that
- 8:36Speaker 1: love me, for the ones that get me, for the
- 8:39Speaker 1: ones that understand what I'm really trying to do. And
- 8:42Speaker 1: so don't you be the one that doesn't allow yourself
- 8:48Speaker 1: to get back on track when you get off track, because,
- 8:51Speaker 1: like I said, who made the rule up that you
- 8:54Speaker 1: can't get back on track? There's no such rule out there.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. So what you
- 9:04Speaker 1: started to diet at the beginning of the year, and
- 9:07Speaker 1: you already off, start another one, start over, try it again,
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't ever stop trying. If you stop trying, you can't
- 9:17Speaker 1: make it. But if you never give up the effort,
- 9:20Speaker 1: if you never give up and say it's over, it
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't over. You heard just saying it ain't over to
- 9:25Speaker 1: the fat ladies saying I never invite her. She's not invited.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It ain't over to the fat ladies, saying I don't
- 9:35Speaker 1: know where the fat ladies stay. I am not sent
- 9:38Speaker 1: her an invitation to none of my events. She's not
- 9:41Speaker 1: welcome here. She didn't ask me a couple of times,
- 9:45Speaker 1: how come I never get invited? Because you're gonna start
- 9:48Speaker 1: saying it and I ain't got time for that, all right.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Stop inviting the fat lady to all your events. Thank you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, everybody, you're about to listen
- 10:03Speaker 1: to the Steve horb In Morning Show, and it's about
- 10:07Speaker 1: to be ig no rent, eat no rent, because we
- 10:11Speaker 1: got the ingredients right here on this show to make
- 10:15Speaker 1: it ignorant. First, we're gonna start off with a little
- 10:19Speaker 1: sprinkle of shutting Starberry. Not a hard but yeah, good
- 10:26Speaker 1: morning Jay. That's help it in somebody who makes show

- 11:04Speaker 1: up with you man? Peanut butt in cabbage baby, keep
- 11:08Speaker 1: it stipid peanut button cab together track can y'all blue?
- 11:16Speaker 1: But I lose it's closed. Christmas is close it's it's
- 11:21Speaker 1: next Friday. How is every year we're never ready for it?
- 11:24Speaker 1: And we know it's coming every year at the same time,
- 11:28Speaker 1: we're never ready more as well? Surely and I defense
- 11:33Speaker 1: marks kind of shiite shy. This is this is my fifth?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Could it the third? Christmas? Man? It's third? Yeah? Yeah?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Can I just speak to them? Can I speak to
- 11:49Speaker 1: the quands of people? Can I speak to them carefull
- 11:52Speaker 1: to get ask? Ask me? I'm not zooming and I'm
- 11:56Speaker 1: not coming, Okay, I'm not. I know it. I know
- 11:59Speaker 1: it's not holiday for you. I'm not zooming but you
- 12:04Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna put on my mask and come.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm not, but you're not gonna ask him? Though, I'm
- 12:08Speaker 1: not done. You ever done a part? I've done one
- 12:12Speaker 1: and I'm not my man up. Still I'll never do
- 12:16Speaker 1: another one. I've been the one, okay, and we've been
- 12:19Speaker 1: to a few. I've been to What happened? What happened?
- 12:22Speaker 1: It was nothing whatever? No holiday chatting yet something or
- 12:31Speaker 1: something you never heard by the quanza party. Man. I
- 12:34Speaker 1: went to a quanza party last night. It was off
- 12:36Speaker 1: the change. I said that one ever, man, I can't
- 12:42Speaker 1: wait for that. Man, But what do they do at
- 12:46Speaker 1: quanza something A lot of deep talk, A lot of
- 12:50Speaker 1: deep talk talking about the principles. Principles. Oh, I thought
- 12:56Speaker 1: you meant deep as in tone, tim me deep as
- 13:05Speaker 1: you you go. I think, I see my friend, I'll
- 13:07Speaker 1: be right back with you. Okay, that's the kind of
- 13:08Speaker 1: deep I thought it was. I want to say, everybody, Oh,
- 13:24Speaker 1: so you're right hard to be a part of you
- 13:28Speaker 1: lead the Racian beans and the Racian beans. Would you do?
- 13:32Speaker 1: It's a very white quans of Christmas. You don't want
- 13:35Speaker 1: to be but coming up in thirty two minutes after
- 13:38Speaker 1: the hour as bitter Man, right after you're listening Stry
- 13:45Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, time now for ask bitter Man,
- 13:49Speaker 1: also known as j Anthony Brown. J Anthony Brown is
- 13:52Speaker 1: bitter Man. And what Jay, you say? What? I'm not
- 13:56Speaker 1: here to help you get through this? Okay, it's not
- 14:00Speaker 1: my purpose in life. And that's pretty much the way
- 14:02Speaker 1: I live with everything. I'm not get through a damn thing.
- 14:09Speaker 1: But Jay, that's part of your charm. That's what good
- 14:13Speaker 1: a man do. Hence, then build a man, build a man,
- 14:17Speaker 1: really help you? No, you won't. All bitter Man. This
- 14:24Speaker 1: one is from Carlos in South Philly. He says, a
- 14:27Speaker 1: year ago, I started having sex with a lady I
- 14:29Speaker 1: met on Snapchat. We used to have sex in my
- 14:32Speaker 1: car when she got off work, and it went on
- 14:34Speaker 1: for about a month, and then she got a new job.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I'm in a relationship with a new woman. And she
- 14:40Speaker 1: took me to a holiday party at her cousin's house.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Her cousin is a girl I used to have sex
- 14:44Speaker 1: with in my car, and she told me I wasn't
- 14:48Speaker 1: welcome in her home. I told my girlfriend I wasn't
- 14:52Speaker 1: feeling good and I called a ride. At some point,
- 14:55Speaker 1: should I tell my girlfriend I slept with her cousin?
- 14:59Speaker 1: Everyone about it knows the rules. You never ever give
- 15:04Speaker 1: up information, ever, ever about a damn thing. You don't
- 15:08Speaker 1: ever give up information? Are you stupid? Or what? What
- 15:11Speaker 1: is wrong with you? What? People don't know? You don't
- 15:14Speaker 1: feeling in about it? What? What? What you se? Family?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Sex is the worst sex? It really is another one.
- 15:26Speaker 1: It just don't never work out. It just and you
- 15:28Speaker 1: know this how I'm saying this for a friend that's
- 15:32Speaker 1: been through something. I'm just right right. I've heard you
- 15:36Speaker 1: read a lot, you read a lot? Yeah, all right,
- 15:39Speaker 1: here we go. What is he just need to learn
- 15:43Speaker 1: how to re meet people. Yeah right, Junior, I like it.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I like it. We're moving on. Tina and Augusta says,
- 15:56Speaker 1: I've been dating a man for eight years and he
- 15:58Speaker 1: spends too much time. I'm on the phone with his sister.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Every morning. When he's eating breakfast, he calls his sister.
- 16:05Speaker 1: When he's getting dressed, He's got his earbuds in talking
- 16:08Speaker 1: to his sister. Same thing. When he gets home from work,
- 16:11Speaker 1: he's on the phone. I asked his sister why they
- 16:13Speaker 1: talk so much, and she said they're just very close.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I think my man is talking to someone else and
- 16:18Speaker 1: his sister is lying for him. Should I trust the
- 16:21Speaker 1: issue with him? Anybody? Would his sister tell you that
- 16:24Speaker 1: you don't talk to your sister, dad damn much? I
- 16:26Speaker 1: got his sister, Yeah, you don't want to talk to
- 16:31Speaker 1: your sister, dat damn like? And I don't really talk
- 16:34Speaker 1: to my sister. These are more like listens. I say hello,
- 16:38Speaker 1: and my sisters off to the races. So nobody. No
- 16:42Speaker 1: man wants to talk to his dad. He tale to
- 16:44Speaker 1: somebody else. He done to somebody else. Right, I am
- 16:50Speaker 1: a sister and my brother and I are very close,
- 16:52Speaker 1: But we don't talk like that on the phone. We
- 16:54Speaker 1: talk a lot, but no, not like that. You're right, well,
- 16:56Speaker 1: Junior and Tommy, y'all got sisters too, do y'all got three?
- 17:01Speaker 1: We'll talk like this here. I'm not getting up getting dressed,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and then while I'm eating Donner and then I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I love Tony to death, but I'm not, we gonna not.
- 17:09Speaker 1: We ain't got that much to say now right, And
- 17:12Speaker 1: I love her once you tell me, big bro, I
- 17:15Speaker 1: need a hunted Okay, cool, drop, I'm And then sometime
- 17:20Speaker 1: you see a call from your sister law. Hell, okay,
- 17:23Speaker 1: let me let me just do it. Wait, wait, Jay,
- 17:29Speaker 1: let's hear Junior. Come on, Junior, I got three of them.
- 17:33Speaker 1: If it better be your birthday for we talk, it
- 17:37Speaker 1: better be you better be an accomplished something for we talk.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I graduated, okay, girl? Good? All right? Now, all right,
- 17:45Speaker 1: moving on, Freddy and Detroit says, I've been dating a
- 17:49Speaker 1: woman for almost three years, and she's the worst gift giver.
- 17:53Speaker 1: She orders me crap online and nothing. It's nothing I'd
- 17:56Speaker 1: ever wear. She doesn't get my style or my swag,
- 17:59Speaker 1: but I know it's exactly what she likes. And every
- 18:01Speaker 1: year for her birthday and Christmas. She brags on her
- 18:04Speaker 1: gifts to her girlfriends. I care about her and it
- 18:07Speaker 1: shows and the gifts her. How can I tell her
- 18:10Speaker 1: to stop buying me a bunch of bs? I got
- 18:14Speaker 1: to go. You got to go with the old brick
- 18:17Speaker 1: poundcake gift. One thing about the brick poundcake give. When
- 18:21Speaker 1: you wrap it up, it weighs a lot. It weighs
- 18:24Speaker 1: a pound. So the person thanks, oh, I got a
- 18:29Speaker 1: real nice gift, and it's a damn pound cake. And
- 18:32Speaker 1: make sure it's not fresh. She's got to be an
- 18:34Speaker 1: old ass poundcake. Just not one wrap a pound, I
- 18:38Speaker 1: mean a pound, not poundcake, fruitcake, fruitcake. Nothing says I
- 18:46Speaker 1: hate you like a fruitcake. Nothing. Nothing says I don't
- 18:51Speaker 1: give a damn about your existence like a fruitcake, jelly
- 18:57Speaker 1: and nothing said you don't mean a day thing to me.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I don't care if it's round or square. If it
- 19:05Speaker 1: is a fruitcake, that person will give a damn about you.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Know what, Jake say, A fruitcake ain't nothing but a
- 19:12Speaker 1: pound cake that's been rolled on the float. That's what
- 19:14Speaker 1: a fruitcake give you pick up all the fruit and
- 19:18Speaker 1: everything scraps on the floor. Me how you take a poundcake,
- 19:24Speaker 1: put fruit in it and it turned brown? What's that about?
- 19:30Speaker 1: All right? Here we go to Steve Steve's an online listener.
- 19:37Speaker 1: He says, I am forty and I'm dating a woman
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's forty one and recently divorced. Her ex husband spoiled her,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and I'm having a hard time with her expectations. She
- 19:47Speaker 1: expects me to pick her pick her car up once
- 19:50Speaker 1: a week and have it washed, filled up with gas,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and have a lawnman do her yard work. U. These
- 19:56Speaker 1: are things that a man normally does for a woman,
- 19:58Speaker 1: but this woman gave me list of things that she
- 20:01Speaker 1: expects from me. We haven't even had sex, Shad, and
- 20:03Speaker 1: she has her dog, but she she asked me what
- 20:08Speaker 1: you're doing. You're doing good sex chores without good sex.
- 20:12Speaker 1: That's what you've been doing. You all caught up in
- 20:15Speaker 1: it walking that dog. That dog. Okay, Jay, one more time.
- 20:24Speaker 1: What now? What he is doing? Good sex chores getting
- 20:30Speaker 1: good sex? And he he oh man, all right, coming off.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Next the nephew is in the building. As you can hear,
- 20:41Speaker 1: would run that prank back right after this. You're listening
- 20:46Speaker 1: morning show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:49Speaker 1: Miss Anna is standing by with today's national news. Senate
- 20:52Speaker 1: Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Finally did you hear that? Finally
- 20:57Speaker 1: recognized Joe Biden fighting and he's down Trump. I don't
- 21:02Speaker 1: give damn what you say. You gotta go with that
- 21:03Speaker 1: new man coming in tomorrow. Yeah, he finally recognized Joe
- 21:09Speaker 1: Biden as president and he liked. Imagine that his neck
- 21:15Speaker 1: is tagged. You know, he's been sticking his neck out.
- 21:18Speaker 1: He's been sticking his knick out for Trump. So it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: you see it when he talks table, I see it,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I see it, all right. Uh, And the FDA is
- 21:30Speaker 1: cleared the path for another COVID vaccine, plus an entertainment
- 21:33Speaker 1: news cardie being offset matching birthday gift behavior. We'll talk
- 21:37Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:40Speaker 1: but right now it is a nephew with run that
- 21:42Speaker 1: prank back what you got for his neff? Uh? What's wrong?
- 21:49Speaker 1: You know what? I was friend to preach and then
- 21:51Speaker 1: I stopped myself and then and then I started up again,
- 21:54Speaker 1: So anyway, it lost it allows its flavor. Okay, Yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: made Benny preach that, Benny. Yes, my roommate, Benny. Let's
- 22:05Speaker 1: let's let's see what Benny has to say. Come onky, Hello,
- 22:09Speaker 1: must be to David, Yeah to see Okay, Hey man,

- 31:16Speaker 1: the Netflix Netflix film My Brainy's Black Bottom, Denzel Washington
- 31:21Speaker 1: opened up on working with Chadwick Boseman on what would
- 31:24Speaker 1: be his last film. Denzel said while on set, no
- 31:27Speaker 1: one knew of Chadwick's colon cancer diagnosis, and he also
- 31:30Speaker 1: talked about the love he saw between Chadwick and his
- 31:33Speaker 1: girlfriend at the time. Now she's his wife. Simone Ledward
- 31:36Speaker 1: take a lesson. Credit to him. You know, he kept
- 31:39Speaker 1: it to himself. Was nobody's business. He was there to deliver,
- 31:42Speaker 1: and he delivered. Certain members of his team knew his
- 31:44Speaker 1: wife was there or they weren't even married yet. I
- 31:47Speaker 1: used to watch how she took care of him. And
- 31:50Speaker 1: I actually said to him, I said, man, you need
- 31:51Speaker 1: to put a ring on that finger, because she kept
- 31:53Speaker 1: her eye on him and she watched him, and I'm like, man,
- 31:56Speaker 1: she loved that guy, you know, but I didn't know
- 31:59Speaker 1: what we know now Chad will live forever period talk.
- 32:08Speaker 1: It's okay from a movie or something, but that's just

- 32:48Speaker 1: really will. What a year twenty twenty Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:56Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna switch gears here and move on.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Time for headline. All right, everybody, it's time for the
- 33:03Speaker 1: news with miss a Trip. Thank you, Jay, good morning.
- 33:06Speaker 1: This is and Trip. The US is now one step
- 33:09Speaker 1: closer to having an access to two coronavirus vaccines. The
- 33:12Speaker 1: Food and dug Administration has released a valuation of a
- 33:15Speaker 1: second one, this one developed by Maderna. It's said to
- 33:17Speaker 1: be ninety four to ninety four percent effective in fighting
- 33:21Speaker 1: off the virus, and later today an advisory panels scheduled
- 33:24Speaker 1: of ME to discuss Maderna's request for an emergency use orliverization.
- 33:27Speaker 1: President elect Joe Biden campaign in Georgia yesterday and behalf
- 33:30Speaker 1: of two Democrats, John Ossoff and Raphael Warnock facing tough
- 33:34Speaker 1: US Senate runoff races against Republican incumbents David Purdue and
- 33:38Speaker 1: Kenny Lawfer. If Ossoff and Warnock win, control of the
- 33:42Speaker 1: Senate would then pass from the GOP to the Democrats.
- 33:45Speaker 1: By the way, Kelly Laufer was recently seen posing in
- 33:47Speaker 1: a picture with a former clansman. She claimed she didn't
- 33:50Speaker 1: know he was a racist. Meanwhile, former goog Nature candidate
- 33:53Speaker 1: Stacey Adrams joined that Drive in rally to rev up
- 33:55Speaker 1: the party Faithful in light of last month's defeat of
- 33:58Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Last time I talked, I said we needed
- 34:01Speaker 1: to make a plan to vote well, we need to
- 34:03Speaker 1: do it again. The last time we talked, I said,
- 34:06Speaker 1: we need to send in our mail in ballots, return
- 34:08Speaker 1: them in your drop boxes or in your mailboxes, but
- 34:11Speaker 1: we need to do it again. Early voting has already
- 34:14Speaker 1: started in the Peach state election days January fifth. Congressional
- 34:18Speaker 1: leaders are meeting this week to try and reach agreement
- 34:20Speaker 1: on a new coronavirus relief bill, and the Senate Majority
- 34:23Speaker 1: Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer say
- 34:26Speaker 1: they're focused on getting it all done before leaving Washington
- 34:29Speaker 1: for the holidays, not leaving here without a COVID pocket.
- 34:33Speaker 1: It's not gonna happen. We need to pass COVID relief
- 34:37Speaker 1: to help our fellow Americans get by until we eradicate
- 34:40Speaker 1: this virus. That's right. Senator McConnell and House Speaker Pelosi
- 34:44Speaker 1: have reportedly discussed the possibility of attaching a bipartisan relief
- 34:48Speaker 1: measure onto a larger spending bill that would keep the
- 34:51Speaker 1: government funded until next year. Right now, lawmakers different on
- 34:55Speaker 1: the amount of additional aid for state and local governments.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Well I took about a month, by the way, but
- 34:59Speaker 1: to only happened. The Republican head of the US Senate,
- 35:02Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell believed or not admits now that Joe Biden
- 35:06Speaker 1: won the presidential election. Many mins of us had hope
- 35:09Speaker 1: the presidential election would yield a different result. But our
- 35:14Speaker 1: system of government has processes to determine who will be
- 35:18Speaker 1: sworn in on January the twentieth. The Electoral College has spoken,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I want to congratulate President elect Joe Biden, and McConnell
- 35:29Speaker 1: also gave his congrats to Vice President elect Kamala Harris.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And now, in light of those final Electoral College numbers,
- 35:34Speaker 1: some other Republicans admitting of that Biden one like staunch
- 35:38Speaker 1: Trump supporters Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and I was
- 35:41Speaker 1: Chuck Grassley and Romney always said that Biden won. Finally,
- 35:44Speaker 1: today is National Chocolate Cup at Anything Day. Hey, now
- 35:52Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 35:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen. We are about

- 45:04Speaker 1: the chopper just uh passed away last week, right, I
- 45:10Speaker 1: know they posed how the funeral and stuff over at
- 45:12Speaker 1: uh at mom Baptist Church, and Uh, I don't really
- 45:17Speaker 1: know you, but me, Me and me and Chopper and
- 45:19Speaker 1: a bunch of restls. Man, we used to hang out
- 45:21Speaker 1: at the club not too far from the house. You know.
- 45:23Speaker 1: That's pretty much what Chopper world all the time. Or
- 45:26Speaker 1: at the club anyway. What a bunch of us was
- 45:29Speaker 1: over at the club talking, man, and I was we
- 45:32Speaker 1: was really when to reach out to one of the
- 45:33Speaker 1: family members, you know, and then somebody said you was,
- 45:36Speaker 1: you know, kind of a good friend of Hells And
- 45:40Speaker 1: when we we we we decided to call you and
- 45:42Speaker 1: see if you didn't mind. Do you think that you
- 45:46Speaker 1: can talk to uh some of the family members and
- 45:51Speaker 1: see if they don't mind having the funeral at the club.
- 45:57Speaker 1: At the club, see what let me let me trying
- 46:00Speaker 1: to explain something to you, Jane. What we're trying to
- 46:03Speaker 1: do is, see we believe that we believed at the club.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Come on the club, there's a funeral. What That's what
- 46:12Speaker 1: I understand it. But see, see Chop Choppa ain't really
- 46:16Speaker 1: go to church a whole lot. You know what I'm
- 46:17Speaker 1: saying he didn't really really go long as I've been
- 46:20Speaker 1: knowing him. Now, he loved a lord and stuff like that.
- 46:26Speaker 1: But I understand. But see, Chopper wouldn't Chopper, Chopper went
- 46:30Speaker 1: to the club. So what I'm asking you will, let's
- 46:33Speaker 1: have the funeral at the club. Hell, no, bro, come on,
- 46:38Speaker 1: we can't have no funeral at no club. Man, come on, No, no,
- 46:43Speaker 1: O can't. But but what what I'm saying is, though,
- 46:46Speaker 1: is that he wouldn't really he wasn't really no church
- 46:49Speaker 1: going person. I believe that a person ought to be uh,
- 46:54Speaker 1: the last words are to be said over him in
- 46:57Speaker 1: a place he's more familiar with. You know what I'm saying, player, player, No,
- 47:01Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what you mean. Players. No,
- 47:03Speaker 1: just just gotta be a funeral. This, this is this
- 47:06Speaker 1: is church for I go to church and all my
- 47:07Speaker 1: folks go to church. No, we we gotta do this
- 47:10Speaker 1: thing up in church. This is a church thing. But
- 47:12Speaker 1: you don't, you don't feel But do you understand where
- 47:14Speaker 1: I'm coming from? No, that man ought to going on
- 47:16Speaker 1: and and the last words are to be in a
- 47:18Speaker 1: place he mode familiar. Now, if he went to church,
- 47:21Speaker 1: then I understand that you see him, bro, Hell no, no,
- 47:25Speaker 1: See this is a chance to get itself right, and
- 47:28Speaker 1: we don't we gonna have him up in church in
- 47:30Speaker 1: front of everybody. You know, that don't make sense? Who's
- 47:34Speaker 1: this again? I mean, who are you? My name Gerald?
- 47:37Speaker 1: But who is Gerald? I mean? How do you? How
- 47:39Speaker 1: do you relate to this? Are you preach your are
- 47:42Speaker 1: you no? No? Are you? No? No? No? No, I'm
- 47:45Speaker 1: I'm I was friends with Chopper and see I hung
- 47:47Speaker 1: out at the club and still hang out there with
- 47:51Speaker 1: a whole bunch of you know, was real good friends
- 47:53Speaker 1: with Chopping, and we were saying that, you know, Chopper's
- 47:56Speaker 1: the last words about Chopper are to be said at
- 47:59Speaker 1: the club, because see that's what Chopper would but five
- 48:02Speaker 1: six days a week, that's what Choppa was. Yea, But
- 48:05Speaker 1: what church are you affiliated with? I mean what I
- 48:07Speaker 1: want to Hell? What I I try to talk to
- 48:10Speaker 1: the family? Make me look stupid in front of the
- 48:12Speaker 1: family telling them to put the thing in a club?
- 48:15Speaker 1: How that gonna go off? Well? See, see that's what
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm saying. You know them way more than we do,
- 48:20Speaker 1: because see that you're talking about trying to move from
- 48:23Speaker 1: a damn funeral. Add a church to a damn nightclub
- 48:26Speaker 1: or strip club or something. No, no, no strip club,
- 48:28Speaker 1: just a nightclub. It's the same, man, ain't it. I
- 48:31Speaker 1: mean you talking about having folks travel from across the
- 48:34Speaker 1: country and meeting into the damn club. What kind of that?
- 48:38Speaker 1: But that's what Choppa was. That's what Choppa was. I'm
- 48:42Speaker 1: gonna look, if I'm the one telling them to root
- 48:45Speaker 1: it to the damn club, You're gonna look like somebody
- 48:47Speaker 1: that's trying to I'm gonna look like a fool. No
- 48:50Speaker 1: you're not. You're gonna look like somebody that's trying to
- 48:52Speaker 1: keep it real. Come to the damn funding if I
- 48:54Speaker 1: will to do something like that. Okay, okay, let me
- 48:56Speaker 1: ask you this hiding Let me ask you this Hill
- 48:59Speaker 1: or Jane. Do you think do you think you can
- 49:02Speaker 1: maybe get the body and bring it over to the club. No,
- 49:06Speaker 1: hell knows. Well, I'm just saying before they even do
- 49:10Speaker 1: the funeral or whatever. You Hell no, I ain't touching
- 49:14Speaker 1: getting the walk in the dog by my self body
- 49:18Speaker 1: for hell no. We're just trying to say our last
- 49:21Speaker 1: words at Chopper Man in a place that Chopper most
- 49:24Speaker 1: no healer again, who you you get my number? Somebody
- 49:28Speaker 1: at the club had your numbers, said you was print.
- 49:31Speaker 1: But why do y'all call me? Of all folks, y'all
- 49:35Speaker 1: call me, they say you good. You in with the family,
- 49:37Speaker 1: and you can tell me the family. But I ain't
- 49:39Speaker 1: end in the family. Make me look stupid? Hell now,
- 49:43Speaker 1: won't y'all? I get y'all of them to the family.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Y'all call the family. Y'all tell me that yourself. Man,
- 49:49Speaker 1: I won't. I just want trying to get you to
- 49:50Speaker 1: brain the body by man and let us no, I
- 49:53Speaker 1: ain't touching no dead body. We just want to have
- 49:56Speaker 1: one last drink with Chopper. Man, you have one with
- 49:58Speaker 1: your boys, and you you get together with him and
- 50:02Speaker 1: y'all talk about bottom and let him know. I chopper one.
- 50:06Speaker 1: What kind of prison? What? What kind of prison? But
- 50:08Speaker 1: we need to we won't chop up to be there
- 50:10Speaker 1: this Chopper, This is Chopper you talking about? Man. Bring
- 50:13Speaker 1: y'all to the church. Y'all need to be up in
- 50:17Speaker 1: the church. We want to have a Chopper at the club. Well,
- 50:20Speaker 1: we didn't know him all man, y'all full of well,
- 50:22Speaker 1: we know ain't gonna pup looking like a fool at
- 50:26Speaker 1: the damn funeral. What this about Chopper though? And then

- 50:33Speaker 1: y'all tripping, man, I ain't doing I'm just going to

- 55:11Speaker 1: My grandparents have been married for over forty years and
- 55:14Speaker 1: they both have gone buck while. About a year ago,
- 55:18Speaker 1: my grandpa confided in me that he met a younger
- 55:21Speaker 1: woman and he enjoys her company a lot. He started
- 55:24Speaker 1: getting a bunch of tattoos, and I told him he
- 55:27Speaker 1: better not let my grandmother see them. He would tell
- 55:30Speaker 1: my grandmother he was hanging out at the leg or
- 55:32Speaker 1: at his barbershop, but he tell me that he was
- 55:35Speaker 1: with his girlfriend. I asked him if the girlfriend was
- 55:38Speaker 1: taking his money, and he says she's not taking it
- 55:40Speaker 1: because he's happy to spoil her. He's a diabetic. Wait
- 55:45Speaker 1: a minute, he's a diabetic. Okay, yeah, I don't know.
- 55:56Speaker 1: That's a clue. Baby, he's a diabetic. Wait a minute,
- 56:01Speaker 1: he's a diabetic. So I told him to be sure
- 56:04Speaker 1: he's taking care of himself. Oh, he told me where
- 56:07Speaker 1: I could reach him, and if I couldn't get him
- 56:09Speaker 1: on his cell phone. If I couldn't get him on
- 56:12Speaker 1: his cell phone, I thought my grandmother would be upset
- 56:15Speaker 1: with him. Okay, it's not jay. I thought my grandmother
- 56:18Speaker 1: would be upset with him being gone so much, but
- 56:21Speaker 1: she was doing her thing on the side too. She
- 56:23Speaker 1: called me one grandparents gone wild is the subject. She
- 56:29Speaker 1: called me one night because she needed a ride to
- 56:32Speaker 1: her friend's house. I thought I was driving her to
- 56:34Speaker 1: her church member's house, but she told me she was
- 56:37Speaker 1: going to see her boyfriend, and she swore me to secrecy.
- 56:41Speaker 1: She told me to pick her back up in two hours,
- 56:44Speaker 1: but I was so disturbed, I just sat there and waited.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I told her I'd never take her over there again. Yeah,
- 56:52Speaker 1: app I'd never take her over there again, is what
- 56:57Speaker 1: I told her. So she began driving herself and she
- 57:00Speaker 1: day out until two am on the weekends. I got
- 57:02Speaker 1: a call last week from a man that said he's
- 57:05Speaker 1: my grandma's boyfriend, and he said my grandma was in
- 57:08Speaker 1: the er because she fell off a bike, but she's fine.
- 57:13Speaker 1: He said she wanted me to come pick her up.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I fussed all the way home, and she told me
- 57:17Speaker 1: to mind my business. My grandma alsold My grandpa also
- 57:22Speaker 1: told me to mind my business when I fusted him.
- 57:24Speaker 1: How did I get in the middle of this mess?
- 57:26Speaker 1: And what am I supposed to do with these two
- 57:28Speaker 1: old cheaters? Oh, and get show Nana. Okay, they're doing
- 57:34Speaker 1: way too much here, way too much. How did you
- 57:37Speaker 1: get into it? When you didn't shut your grandpa down
- 57:40Speaker 1: when he first told you that he had a girlfriend.
- 57:43Speaker 1: That's how you got into the middle of it. You
- 57:44Speaker 1: allowed your grandpa to share his private business with you.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Instead of saying, nope, Grandma, Grandpa, Grandma, don't drag me
- 57:52Speaker 1: into your mess, you listened and became his confidant. So
- 57:56Speaker 1: now he's comfortable telling you everything. I guess at some
- 58:00Speaker 1: point he wants to tell someone, he can't just tell anyone.
- 58:04Speaker 1: He trusts you and Uh, well, to make matters worse.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Now your grandma is doing the same thing. Wow, they
- 58:12Speaker 1: got to know about it. They got to know about
- 58:14Speaker 1: each other because she's not worried about him and he
- 58:16Speaker 1: doesn't sound like he's worried about her. So it's you.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you gotta get them to stop
- 58:22Speaker 1: telling you. You gotta get them to stop including you.
- 58:25Speaker 1: You gotta get them to stop involving you. And until
- 58:27Speaker 1: you take yourself out of the equation, that's what it's
- 58:30Speaker 1: going to continue happening. If you don't approve of what
- 58:33Speaker 1: they're doing, tell them both to stop. And if they
- 58:36Speaker 1: don't tell them, you're gonna tell on them, all right,
- 58:39Speaker 1: But please, Yeah she can do a little blackmail there,
- 58:43Speaker 1: but but please, you still got to watch them from
- 58:45Speaker 1: afar so they won't get hurt or anything. Like your
- 58:48Speaker 1: grandma already ended up in the east. We don't want
- 58:51Speaker 1: that to happen again, all right, But tell him to stop.

- 1:01:03Speaker 1: it up. He tells his wife that he's hanging out
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: at the lake or at the barbershop. And she, the granddaughter,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: did ask him if he's giving the young girl money.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Is she taking his money? And he said no, she's
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: not taking it because he's happy to spoil her. He's
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: also a diabetic, so the granddaughter is warning him to
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: take care of himself now. He told her that. Then
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: her grandmother confided in her that she's got a boyfriend
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and he's been asking the granddaughter to drive her to
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: her man's house. She got a call one night. Yeah,
