- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome and his verdic with Center. Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:03Speaker 1: with You and Center. This may be one of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: most interesting stories we've gotten to talk about in a while,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and that is Democrats are so hell bent on being
- 0:13Speaker 1: the opposite of Donald Trump and Conservatives that they're now
- 0:17Speaker 1: advocating for people that are members of terrorist gang organizations
- 0:22Speaker 1: and demanding that we bring illegals back into America. You
- 0:27Speaker 1: cannot make this up. Well.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Ever since the election in November, Democrats have been flailing about.
- 0:32Speaker 2: They have been unable to coalesce behind any clear platform,
- 0:37Speaker 2: any clear policy agenda other than hatred for Donald Trump
- 0:42Speaker 2: and anger at rage at the voters for re electing him.
- 0:46Speaker 2: They've now seemed to settle on two policy positions, which
- 0:49Speaker 2: I have to admit are curious policy positions for a
- 0:51Speaker 2: party that was just resoundingly defeated at the polls. Number One,
- 0:57Speaker 2: Democrats have apparently decided the issue that's going to bring
- 0:59Speaker 2: them back to power is that Democrats want more illegal aliens,
- 1:04Speaker 2: and especially more illegal aliens who have been found by
- 1:08Speaker 2: courts to be members of MS thirteen. That's a fairly
- 1:11Speaker 2: remarkable position, and yet that is where they are Secondly,
- 1:15Speaker 2: they have decided that what we need in our college
- 1:17Speaker 2: campuses is more anti Semitism, more radicals, more Prohamas protesters,
- 1:23Speaker 2: and more anti American zealots who hate our nation. Now,
- 1:27Speaker 2: I got to say, Ben, as I say both of
- 1:28Speaker 2: those propositions, the words coming out of my mouth sound
- 1:32Speaker 2: absurd except for the fact that that is exactly where
- 1:37Speaker 2: today's Democrat party has decided to land. We're going to
- 1:39Speaker 2: lay out the facts behind both of those, both the
- 1:43Speaker 2: all in Democrat rush to get behind bringing more illegals
- 1:47Speaker 2: who are MS thirteen gang members back into this country,
- 1:51Speaker 2: and the Democrats defense of Harvard University, which is decided
- 1:54Speaker 2: they're not going to change a damn thing. They're going
- 1:56Speaker 2: to continue to discriminate on race, and they're going to
- 1:59Speaker 2: continue to let in every anti Semite they want to,
- 2:02Speaker 2: and who the heck is the federal government to try
- 2:05Speaker 2: to enforce civil rights laws against them. We're going to
- 2:07Speaker 2: break both those stories down today.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is incredible. I also want to remind you, guys,
- 2:12Speaker 1: many of you may be listening to the show and
- 2:14Speaker 1: you're new to the show. Hit that subscribe or auto
- 2:16Speaker 1: download button so you do not miss an episode. So
- 2:20Speaker 1: do that right now as well. Also, I want to
- 2:22Speaker 1: tell you about our friends at the International Fellowship of
- 2:24Speaker 1: Christians and Jews. Israel is still under attack right now.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Missile fire has resumed from the Houthis, from Hesblah and
- 2:32Speaker 1: from Hamas and enemies that are seeking Israel destruction. Is
- 2:37Speaker 1: unfortunately what Israel's having to deal with every day. Here
- 2:40Speaker 1: in America, we cannot imagine living under constant threat of
- 2:43Speaker 1: terrorism and rocket attacks. Well, this is the reality in Israel.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Parents taking their children to school, falling to the ground
- 2:51Speaker 1: to lay on top of their small children, trying to
- 2:53Speaker 1: comfort them as the sirens blair. The next attack against
- 2:57Speaker 1: Israel is happening now. With little Tom, I'm to prepare
- 3:01Speaker 1: and that's why I'm asking for your help. That is
- 3:03Speaker 1: also why it's so important that you know about the
- 3:06Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. They provide life saving
- 3:10Speaker 1: aid and security essentials, and your urgently need a gift
- 3:14Speaker 1: today will help provide security essentials like bomb shelters, flag jackets,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and bulletproof vests for the first responders. They also provide
- 3:22Speaker 1: armored security vehicles, armored ambulances, and so much more. So
- 3:27Speaker 1: join me and stand with Israel. You can make a
- 3:31Speaker 1: donation by calling eight to eight for eight eight IFCJ.
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five,
- 3:41Speaker 1: or go online to support IFCJ dot org one word
- 3:46Speaker 1: support IFCJ dot org. So center, let's go back to
- 3:52Speaker 1: this story, and Democrats are now coalescing around an individual
- 3:58Speaker 1: that was deported out of this cunt. And not only
- 4:01Speaker 1: are they rallying, but they're putting together apparently a dead
- 4:05Speaker 1: delegation that they want to send down to L. Salvador
- 4:09Speaker 1: to quote stand up for the illegal immigrant that's a
- 4:13Speaker 1: MS thirteen gang member.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Well, there was an illegal immigrant whom the Trump administration
- 4:18Speaker 2: deported to L.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Salvador.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Abrego Garcia is his name, and he was here illegally.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Everyone admits that he came into this country illegally, and
- 4:28Speaker 2: he was also adjudicated not once, but twice to be
- 4:31Speaker 2: an MS thirteen gang member. Now President Trump has determined
- 4:34Speaker 2: MS thirteen to be a terrorist organization, and so he
- 4:37Speaker 2: was apprehended and he was deported by the Trump administration. Now,
- 4:41Speaker 2: it so happened that there was a court order that
- 4:45Speaker 2: said not that Abrego Garcia could not be deported, but
- 4:48Speaker 2: that he could not be deported back to l Salvador,
- 4:51Speaker 2: which is where he's from. He's an El Salvadorian national,
- 4:54Speaker 2: and that court order was a long it was an
- 4:57Speaker 2: older court order that was miss that was over looked,
- 5:00Speaker 2: and he was deported and sent to El Salvador. And
- 5:02Speaker 2: the Democrats have decided that that error is sufficient reason
- 5:07Speaker 2: they are jumping on airplanes and headed down to El
- 5:10Speaker 2: Salvador to apparently go camp outside the prison camp where
- 5:14Speaker 2: terrorists and murders and rapists are held, to say, you
- 5:17Speaker 2: know what America needs is more of those terrorists, murderers,
- 5:20Speaker 2: and rapists back in America. Now, I got to say
- 5:23Speaker 2: that that's a stunning position. So here's how the Washington
- 5:28Speaker 2: Examiner put it. Quote to hear Democrats like Chris Murphy
- 5:32Speaker 2: tell it, Garcia was just an innocent, doting father who
- 5:36Speaker 2: was randomly targeted by the Trump administrations to be sent
- 5:39Speaker 2: to El Salvador's terrorism confinement. Senator the Supreme Court then
- 5:44Speaker 2: ordered Trump to return this quote legal resident back to
- 5:47Speaker 2: the United States. Trump is refused, sending our nation into
- 5:51Speaker 2: a constitutional crisis. Senator Van Holland has even announced that
- 5:55Speaker 2: he's going to personally travel to El Salvador. To bring
- 5:58Speaker 2: Garcia home because you know that's what you want. It's
- 6:00Speaker 2: Democrats trafficking an illegal immigrants. Sure, the problem is that
- 6:05Speaker 2: Democrats leave a lot out of Garcia's story, and the
- 6:09Speaker 2: truth makes Trump's failure to return him quite reasonable. For starters,
- 6:13Speaker 2: Garcia was not in the United States legally, by the way.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Nobody disputes that. That is undisputed by his lawyer's own admission.
- 6:22Speaker 2: He enters the country illegally in twenty eleven. Then eight
- 6:27Speaker 2: years later, Garcia was arrested at home Depot while illegally
- 6:30Speaker 2: soliciting employment the Princes The Prince George's County Police Department
- 6:35Speaker 2: then transferred him to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which began
- 6:39Speaker 2: deportation proceedings against him. As a defense to deportation, Garcia
- 6:44Speaker 2: tried to claim asylum, claiming that his life was in
- 6:46Speaker 2: danger from the Barrio eighteen gang. But his asylum claim
- 6:50Speaker 2: was denied and the judge ordered his removal. Let me
- 6:55Speaker 2: repeat that statement. But his asylum claim was denied and
- 7:01Speaker 2: the judge ordered his removal. Now here's the sentence that
- 7:05Speaker 2: complicates it. The judge did, however, grant Garcia a quote
- 7:10Speaker 2: withholding of removal order forbidding his removal to l Salvador,
- 7:14Speaker 2: but that did not make him a legal resident, as
- 7:19Speaker 2: Garcia's own lawyers admit, should the Trump administration wish to
- 7:22Speaker 2: remove plain if Ibrego Garcia to any other country, they
- 7:26Speaker 2: would have no legal impediment in doing so. And so
- 7:31Speaker 2: these are the facts that the Democrats have decided their
- 7:34Speaker 2: party is all about. You want to know what is
- 7:37Speaker 2: today's Democrat party stand for? More illegal immigrants, more gang
- 7:40Speaker 2: members that you know what? This ain't your grandfather's Democrat party.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So you've done international trips before. And if I remember
- 7:50Speaker 1: the name, I think it's Codell. So does is this
- 7:54Speaker 1: an official delegation? If it's senators and consciencemen going down there,
- 7:58Speaker 1: this is a real Codell. The American taxpayer is going
- 8:01Speaker 1: to pay for this photo op.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yes, And and look that's that's one of the prerogatives
- 8:06Speaker 2: of being in the Senate is that you can travel
- 8:08Speaker 2: internationally on official travel, and each senator can make it
- 8:12Speaker 2: a termination of where he or she wants to go.
- 8:15Speaker 2: And it should be related to your responsibilities, related to
- 8:19Speaker 2: your work. But particularly for someone like Van Holland or Murphy,
- 8:24Speaker 2: they both served with me on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,
- 8:26Speaker 2: and so that in and of itself gives you a
- 8:30Speaker 2: significant justification to travel abroad work related. Let me give
- 8:34Speaker 2: you an example of that. If you go back during
- 8:37Speaker 2: the first Trump administration, when President Trump moved our embassy
- 8:41Speaker 2: in Israel to Jerusalem. That's something I had been fighting
- 8:44Speaker 2: for for for the entire time I've been in the Senate.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Presidents from both parties, both Republicans and Democrats, had promised
- 8:51Speaker 2: to move our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and presidents
- 8:53Speaker 2: in both parties had broken that promise. Well, Donald Trump
- 8:57Speaker 2: followed through on that promise, and it was the right
- 8:59Speaker 2: thing to do it with something that I advocated vigorously
- 9:02Speaker 2: to President Trump repeatedly in the Oval Office for him
- 9:05Speaker 2: to do so when he did. When we were opening
- 9:07Speaker 2: our embassy about a year later, I decided I wanted
- 9:10Speaker 2: to be there and and so I went down and
- 9:13Speaker 2: and I traveled down, and there were a number of
- 9:15Speaker 2: other Senators, number of other House members that went. And
- 9:18Speaker 2: you know what was striking ben is is when the
- 9:20Speaker 2: embassy was opened. It was actually on the date of
- 9:23Speaker 2: the seventieth anniversary of the creation of the modern state
- 9:27Speaker 2: of Israel. Not a single Democrat member of Congress came.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer didn't come. No Democrat senators came, No Democrat
- 9:35Speaker 2: House members came. By the way, historically many congressional Democrats,
- 9:39Speaker 2: including Chuck Schumer, had called for moving our embassy to Jerusalem,
- 9:42Speaker 2: but what it was actually moved. None of them came,
- 9:45Speaker 2: and several of them whined publicly, well, the Trump administration
- 9:49Speaker 2: didn't invite us. Well, you know what, they didn't invite
- 9:52Speaker 2: me either. I don't think they invited any members of Congress.
- 9:54Speaker 2: They just opened the embassy. I ended up going, and
- 9:57Speaker 2: I actually ended up going with with my and Lindsey Graham,
- 10:02Speaker 2: and I was literally walking along in the Capitol and
- 10:05Speaker 2: I turned to Mike, who's a very dear friend of mine,
- 10:07Speaker 2: and I said, Mike, We're going to open the embassy
- 10:09Speaker 2: in Jerusalem. I've been fighting for this for years. I
- 10:11Speaker 2: want to be there. Do you want to be there too?
- 10:12Speaker 2: He said absolutely, Let's go. And Lindsay wanted to come
- 10:14Speaker 2: to and so we went out of our official budgets
- 10:18Speaker 2: with the ability to purchase plane tickets and travel, and
- 10:20Speaker 2: so we traveled there to be there. We met with
- 10:22Speaker 2: Prime Minister net and Yah who we met with Senior
- 10:24Speaker 2: government officials. That's part of the job. So look, can
- 10:27Speaker 2: the Democrats travel Del Salvador if they want and is
- 10:30Speaker 2: that part reasonably of their work? Yes, But what they're
- 10:34Speaker 2: doing is traveling there in order to highlight we want
- 10:39Speaker 2: to bring this illegal immigrant, whom two courts have found
- 10:43Speaker 2: as an MS thirteen member back to America. That's astonishingly
- 10:48Speaker 2: bad policy and I think astonishingly bad politics.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You mentioned that this is I agree with you, astonishing
- 10:55Speaker 1: policy and bet politics. But the media has been giving
- 10:59Speaker 1: them cover on this story. If you listen to the media.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I was I was watching MSNBC, for example, and they
- 11:05Speaker 1: were they were talking, you were the one we had, Yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: I was the one, right, and I was I was
- 11:11Speaker 1: watching and they had the mother who said where it's
- 11:14Speaker 1: the next number of days since he has disappeared. And
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm like, well, well, hold on, if he's disappeared, then
- 11:20Speaker 1: how do you guys know where to go to find
- 11:21Speaker 1: him and see him and to have this delegation go
- 11:24Speaker 1: down there. Which one is it he's disappeared or you
- 11:27Speaker 1: know exactly where he is? And of course the answer
- 11:29Speaker 1: is they obviously know where he is. But MSNBC was like,
- 11:31Speaker 1: we stand with you. To the mother, like we're with
- 11:34Speaker 1: you in solidarity right now to his wife. And I'm
- 11:39Speaker 1: laughing because none of the facts have come up about
- 11:43Speaker 1: not one, but two courts saying this guy's MS thirteen
- 11:45Speaker 1: gang member.
- 11:47Speaker 2: None of these Democrats could even bring themselves to utter
- 11:49Speaker 2: the name Lincoln Riley. None of these Democrats could bring
- 11:52Speaker 2: themselves to utter the name Joscelyn Nungary. None of these
- 11:55Speaker 2: Democrats could bring themselves to utter the name Rachel Brand.
- 11:59Speaker 2: The American victims who were murdered by criminal illegal aliens
- 12:03Speaker 2: whom Democrats had released, they won't acknowledge, they won't fight for,
- 12:08Speaker 2: they don't care about. At the State of the Union
- 12:10Speaker 2: when Alexis Nungary, Jocelyn Nungare's mom was sitting next to
- 12:14Speaker 2: the First Lady, Milania Trump, and the President introduced her.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I know Jocelyn's mom really well. She's an incredible young
- 12:21Speaker 2: woman who's shown great courage and fortitude. Not a single
- 12:25Speaker 2: Democrat in the Chamber would applaud for. So they cannot
- 12:28Speaker 2: bring themselves to stand with Americans whose children have been
- 12:33Speaker 2: murdered by violent illegal immigrants whom they released. But you
- 12:37Speaker 2: give them an illegal immigrant ordered deported by a court
- 12:40Speaker 2: determined to be an MS thirteen gang member, and they
- 12:43Speaker 2: are all in and I want you to listen to
- 12:45Speaker 2: this exchange. So in the Oval office, the president of
- 12:49Speaker 2: El Salvador, President Bucelly, was here this week and he
- 12:52Speaker 2: met with President Trump in the Oval Office and there
- 12:55Speaker 2: were a number of members of the cabinet there, and
- 12:58Speaker 2: CNN of course immediately asked are you going to send
- 13:02Speaker 2: this individual back? And the exchanges is quite striking President Bukelly,
- 13:07Speaker 2: his answer was quite strong, and President Trump asked as
- 13:11Speaker 2: three people asked Pambondy, the Attorney General, asked Stephen Miller,
- 13:15Speaker 2: who's the deputy chief of staff and an expert on
- 13:18Speaker 2: immigration law, and asked Marco Rubio all to respond to
- 13:21Speaker 2: CNN's questions. And I got to say that their answers
- 13:25Speaker 2: were a masterclass in how to deal with media misinformation
- 13:31Speaker 2: and disinformation. It's a lengthy excerpts, but it's worth hearing
- 13:35Speaker 2: because it really does lay out the truth and expose
- 13:39Speaker 2: the media lies. Give a listen and.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Who your administration says was mistaken which the man who
- 13:45Speaker 4: was mistakenly deported to El Salvador.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Well, let me ask Pam, would you as to answer.
- 13:49Speaker 3: That question, Sir President, First and foremost, he was illegally
- 13:54Speaker 3: in our country. He had been illegally in our country.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And in twenty nineteen two an immigration court and an
- 14:01Speaker 3: appellate immigration court ruled that he was a member of
- 14:05Speaker 3: MS thirteen and he was illegally in our country right now.
- 14:10Speaker 3: It was a paperwork, it was additional paperwork had needed
- 14:13Speaker 3: to be done. That's up to El Salvador if they
- 14:17Speaker 3: want to return him. That's not up to us. The
- 14:19Speaker 3: Supreme Court rule President that if as El Salvador wants
- 14:23Speaker 3: to return him, this is international matters, foreign affairs. If
- 14:27Speaker 3: they wanted to return him, we would facilitate it, meaning
- 14:31Speaker 3: provide a plane.
- 14:35Speaker 6: And if you are doing a great job, and you
- 14:39Speaker 6: just also respond to that question because you know it's
- 14:42Speaker 6: asked by CNN, and they always ask it with a
- 14:44Speaker 6: slant because they're totally slanting because they don't know what's happening.
- 14:48Speaker 5: That's why nobody's watching them. But would you answer that
- 14:51Speaker 5: question also gladly?
- 14:53Speaker 4: So, as Pam mentioned, there's the illegal alien from El Salvador.
- 14:58Speaker 4: So with respect to you, he's a citizen of El Salvador.
- 15:03Speaker 4: So it's very arrogant even for American media to suggest
- 15:07Speaker 4: that we would even tell El Salvador how to handle
- 15:09Speaker 4: their own citizens as a starting point, as two immigration
- 15:13Speaker 4: courts found that he was a member of MS thirteen.
- 15:15Speaker 4: When President Trump declared MS thirteen to be a foreign
- 15:18Speaker 4: terrorist organization, that meant that he was no longer eligible
- 15:22Speaker 4: under federal law, which I'm sure you know you're very
- 15:24Speaker 4: familiar with, the iona that he was no longer eligible
- 15:27Speaker 4: for any form of immigration or relief in the United States.
- 15:30Speaker 4: So we had a deportation order that was valid, which
- 15:34Speaker 4: meant under our law he's not even allowed to be
- 15:36Speaker 4: present in the United States and had to be returned
- 15:40Speaker 4: because of the foreign terrorist designation. This issue was then
- 15:44Speaker 4: by a district court judge completely inverted, and a district
- 15:48Speaker 4: court judge tried to tell the administration that they had
- 15:51Speaker 4: to kidnap a citizen of El Salvador and fly him
- 15:53Speaker 4: back here. That issue was raised at the Supreme Court,
- 15:56Speaker 4: and the Supreme Court said the district court order was
- 15:59Speaker 4: unallowed and its main components were reversed nine zero, unanimously
- 16:04Speaker 4: stating clearly that neither Secretary of State nor the President
- 16:08Speaker 4: could be compelled by anybody to forcibly retrieve a citizen
- 16:12Speaker 4: of El Salvador from Al Salvador, who again is a
- 16:15Speaker 4: member of m S thirteen, which is I'm sure you understand, rapes,
- 16:19Speaker 4: little girls, murderer's woman, murder's children, is engaged in the
- 16:23Speaker 4: most barbaric activities in the world. And I can promise
- 16:25Speaker 4: you if he was your neighbor, you would move right away.
- 16:27Speaker 5: So you don't plank the Supreme Court. In the Supreme
- 16:32Speaker 5: Court save was it nine to nothing?
- 16:34Speaker 4: Yes, there's a nine zero in our favor against the
- 16:38Speaker 4: district court ruling saying that no district court has the
- 16:41Speaker 4: power to compel the foreign policy function of the United States.
- 16:44Speaker 4: As Pam said, the ruling solely stated that if this
- 16:48Speaker 4: individual at El salvad Or sole discretion was sent back
- 16:52Speaker 4: to our country, that we could deport him a second time. Well,
- 16:55Speaker 4: no version of this legally ends up with him ever
- 16:57Speaker 4: living here, because he is a citizen of El Sis
- 17:00Speaker 4: that is the President of Old Salvador. Your questions about
- 17:03Speaker 4: it for the court can only be drifted to him, I.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Asked, President, do you plan to return him?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Well? Yeah, and post your guys suggested that I smuggle
- 17:14Speaker 3: the terrorists in today United States?
- 17:16Speaker 5: Right, how can I smuggle how can I return him today?
- 17:20Speaker 5: ULA's just like I smuggled him into the United States
- 17:23Speaker 5: or whether we do, of course, I'm not going to
- 17:24Speaker 5: do it.
- 17:25Speaker 4: It's like, I mean, the.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Question is preposterous. How can I smuggle the terrorists in today?
- 17:31Speaker 5: United States? I don't have the power to return him
- 17:33Speaker 5: to the United States. You can release inside of but
- 17:37Speaker 5: I'm not releasing. I mean, we're not very fond of
- 17:39Speaker 5: releasing terrorists into our country.
- 17:40Speaker 3: We just turned the murder capital of the world into
- 17:42Speaker 3: the safest country of the Western hemisphere.
- 17:44Speaker 6: And he want us to go back into the releasing
- 17:47Speaker 6: criminals so they can go back to being the murder
- 17:49Speaker 6: capital of the world. And that's that's not kind of
- 17:51Speaker 6: But they'd love to have a criminal you know, schedule
- 17:54Speaker 6: I mean, I mean there's a fascino.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Yeah, sick piece of shick people. Markuld gives something to say.
- 18:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, Stephen Iland, I don't understand what the
- 18:04Speaker 7: confusion is. This individual is a citizen of Alsavador. He
- 18:08Speaker 7: was illegally in the United States and was returned to
- 18:11Speaker 7: his country. That's where you deport people back to their
- 18:13Speaker 7: country of origin, except for Venezuela. That wasn't refusing to
- 18:16Speaker 7: take people back of places like that. I can tell
- 18:18Speaker 7: you this, mister President. No, the foreign policy of the
- 18:21Speaker 7: United States is conducted by the President of the United States,
- 18:24Speaker 7: not by a court. And no court in the United
- 18:26Speaker 7: States has a right to conduct the foreign policy of
- 18:28Speaker 7: the United States.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Is that some senator?
- 18:31Speaker 1: You can hear it there. They laid out the facts,
- 18:33Speaker 1: the facts that the media are not telling the American people.
- 18:37Speaker 1: They laid out the connections to the terrorist organization, which
- 18:39Speaker 1: is MS thirteen. They laid out the facts that not
- 18:42Speaker 1: one but two judges have said he's an MS thirteen
- 18:44Speaker 1: gang member. And oh, by the way, when the media
- 18:46Speaker 1: says this guy did nothing wrong, he was in the
- 18:49Speaker 1: country illegally. He broke into the United States of America.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So the entire thing is propaganda from the left.
- 18:57Speaker 5: It is.
- 18:58Speaker 2: And by the way, I will say on multiple media
- 19:01Speaker 2: outlets have tweeted about this illegal immigrant who's been adjudicated
- 19:04Speaker 2: to be a gang member. They keep describing him as
- 19:07Speaker 2: a quote Maryland father. So since when does an illegal
- 19:11Speaker 2: immigrant who happen to be living in Maryland make him
- 19:13Speaker 2: a Maryland father. Yes, he was in fact apprehended in Maryland,
- 19:17Speaker 2: but he is. He is from l Salvador. It's why. Actually,
- 19:20Speaker 2: they asked the president of El Salvador, are you to
- 19:22Speaker 2: send him back? And at the end of the day,
- 19:25Speaker 2: the president of Al Salvador said, look, why am I?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Why would I smuggle a terrorist into the United States.
- 19:30Speaker 2: This is someone who's been found to be a member
- 19:33Speaker 2: of MS thirteen. It is illegal for him to come
- 19:36Speaker 2: to America. You're asking me, would I bring an illegal
- 19:39Speaker 2: immigrant terrorist into America? My answer is no. And the
- 19:42Speaker 2: media has no answer for that. They're like, no, no, no,
- 19:45Speaker 2: we want that. And what's astonishing, Okay, nobody's surprised. CNN
- 19:49Speaker 2: wants more illegal immigrant terrorists into this country. MSNBC wants
- 19:53Speaker 2: more illegal immigrant terrorists into this country. Now, to be fair,
- 19:56Speaker 2: CNN and MSNBC don't have to get votes. They just
- 19:59Speaker 2: have to appeal to radical leftists. But Democrats presumably want
- 20:03Speaker 2: to get votes from normal people. This is a very
- 20:05Speaker 2: curious issue for them to lean all in on. But
- 20:08Speaker 2: I got to say this defines who today's Democrat party is.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile real quick. If
- 20:15Speaker 1: you've got a cell phone and your cell phone is
- 20:18Speaker 1: not with Patriot Mobile, then the question I got to
- 20:20Speaker 1: ask you, is why why have you not made the switch? Well,
- 20:25Speaker 1: you should make the switch, and the deal is really easy.
- 20:28Speaker 1: You get cutting edge technology. Switching has never been easier.
- 20:32Speaker 1: There's no store visits, no hassles. You get to keep
- 20:35Speaker 1: your same phone number you have right now. You get
- 20:37Speaker 1: to keep your same phone you've got now or upgrade
- 20:39Speaker 1: to a new one. And they have a one hundred
- 20:42Speaker 1: percent US based team that can activate you literally in minutes.
- 20:46Speaker 1: The other thing that I love about Patriot Mobile is
- 20:48Speaker 1: this they have access to all three major networks, meaning
- 20:52Speaker 1: you get exceptional nationwide coverage. I use Patriot Mobile and
- 20:56Speaker 1: half for years. They can even put a second number
- 21:00Speaker 1: on a different network on your phone. It's like carrying
- 21:04Speaker 1: two phones in one. You can have a work number
- 21:07Speaker 1: and a personal number. It's amazing. They have unlimited data plans,
- 21:11Speaker 1: mobile hotspots, international roaming, Internet on the go devices, and
- 21:16Speaker 1: home internet backup as well. You can get all of
- 21:19Speaker 1: this from Patriot Mobile. So why are you waiting? Make
- 21:23Speaker 1: the switch today? And by the way, when you pay
- 21:26Speaker 1: your bill, you know that about five percent of that
- 21:28Speaker 1: bill every month is going back to support conservative causes,
- 21:32Speaker 1: causes that stand for our first and or Second Amendment rights,
- 21:35Speaker 1: the rights of unborn children. And they stand with our veterans,
- 21:39Speaker 1: our first responders, our police and firemen, are EMTs and
- 21:43Speaker 1: are wounded warriors. So make a difference. With every call
- 21:46Speaker 1: you make. Go to Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict or

- 21:57Speaker 1: switch to Patriot Mobile and defend freedom with every call
- 21:59Speaker 1: in text you make. That's Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict
- 22:04Speaker 1: or nine to seven to Patriot Make the switch today Center.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Which this issue that we just talked about brings us
- 22:10Speaker 1: to another double down issue with Democrats that again they
- 22:15Speaker 1: without leadership in the Democratic Party right now. It's pretty
- 22:19Speaker 1: clear they're trying to a figure out who's in charge,
- 22:22Speaker 1: and b the radicals are getting to push the agenda,
- 22:26Speaker 1: which brings us to Harvard, and Trump has said we
- 22:29Speaker 1: are freezing the funding going to Harvard. They have slashed
- 22:34Speaker 1: over two point two billion in funding to Harvard after
- 22:37Speaker 1: the school is defied federal law, and the White House
- 22:41Speaker 1: says we're not playing around. A lot of Americans, by
- 22:44Speaker 1: the way, may not realize that two point two in fact,
- 22:47Speaker 1: a lot more than that is going to Harvard of
- 22:50Speaker 1: your tax dollars.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Harvard gets roughly nine billion dollars in federal taxpayer dollars,
- 22:56Speaker 2: so it gets an enormous amount. Now, it's a huge
- 22:58Speaker 2: research institution, and it does some good research. It does
- 23:00Speaker 2: medical research and scientific research, and some of that researches
- 23:04Speaker 2: is valuable. But but what the Trump administration is announced,
- 23:07Speaker 2: the Joint Task Force on Combating Anti Semitism has announced
- 23:11Speaker 2: that it's freezing over two billion dollars in multi year
- 23:14Speaker 2: grants and contracts to Harvard. Uh And and that was
- 23:18Speaker 2: following the school's president putting out a statement saying it
- 23:21Speaker 2: would not comply with the Trump administration's demands on on
- 23:26Speaker 2: anti semitism. And and I got to say, this is
- 23:29Speaker 2: a battle that that Harvard and a lot of academic
- 23:33Speaker 2: institutions are putting out statements in support of Harvard. So brave,
- 23:36Speaker 2: so brave. Now, I will say most other institutions, when
- 23:39Speaker 2: the Trump administration has threatened their funding, they've caved, and
- 23:42Speaker 2: they've caved very quickly. But the other institutions are happy
- 23:46Speaker 2: to applaud Harvard and say yes, yes, yes, lose your
- 23:48Speaker 2: funds you're you're so brave. Uh and I And what
- 23:51Speaker 2: is striking is that Democrats, Barack Obama, the Democrat governor Massachusetts,
- 23:57Speaker 2: are all lining up behind Harvard and and and there
- 23:59Speaker 2: is a reason when you look at the core basis
- 24:02Speaker 2: of the Democrat Party.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Uh.
- 24:05Speaker 2: You know, there was a time in a prior generation
- 24:08Speaker 2: when the Democrat Party was considered a blue collar party.
- 24:10Speaker 2: And in the age of FDR, it was a party
- 24:12Speaker 2: of union members and working class uh and and and
- 24:16Speaker 2: in fact, one of the reasons that that FDR was
- 24:19Speaker 2: was treated with contempt is because he was a very
- 24:22Speaker 2: wealthy person, as many Democrats are. But but he was
- 24:25Speaker 2: considered a quote traitor to his class because he was
- 24:27Speaker 2: a rich man who became a historic Democrat leader. Well,
- 24:33Speaker 2: that Democrat Party doesn't exist anymore. The Democrat Party no
- 24:36Speaker 2: longer cares about the blue collar and in fact, they
- 24:38Speaker 2: routinely destroyed blue collar jobs. Today's Democrat Party is a
- 24:42Speaker 2: party of coastal elites. And and it is a party
- 24:44Speaker 2: that is comprised of big universities and and and big
- 24:49Speaker 2: business and big tech and big Hollywood, all of whom
- 24:54Speaker 2: have overlapping problems. All of them are are in bed
- 24:58Speaker 2: with China and and and all of them have been
- 25:01Speaker 2: taken over by radical leftism, by cultural Marxism.
- 25:05Speaker 3: As you know.
- 25:06Speaker 2: The most recent book I wrote is entitled Unwoke, How
- 25:09Speaker 2: to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America, And each chapter breaks
- 25:13Speaker 2: down a different major institution that's been captured by the
- 25:16Speaker 2: radical left. The first chapter is entitled Universities the Wuhan
- 25:22Speaker 2: Lab of the Woke Virus. And what I argue is
- 25:26Speaker 2: that it is universities and sadly, my alma mater, Harvard,
- 25:30Speaker 2: where the woke virus was first created in a lab,
- 25:34Speaker 2: and then it mutated and spread, and it spread throughout
- 25:38Speaker 2: just about every other major institution in this country. And
- 25:41Speaker 2: so Harvard has been the locusts of much of the
- 25:45Speaker 2: radical leftism and cultural Marxism that has done enormous damage
- 25:49Speaker 2: to our institutions. And Harvard is digging in, and they're
- 25:53Speaker 2: claiming that they're digging in in defense of free speech.
- 25:58Speaker 2: But what they're really digging in on on it is
- 26:01Speaker 2: they don't want to change their policies. Number One, that
- 26:04Speaker 2: discriminate on race. They love discriminating on race. They love
- 26:07Speaker 2: dei that they love putting race front and center, which
- 26:11Speaker 2: by the way is directly contrary to federal civil rights law.
- 26:15Speaker 2: And they also want to continue admitting radical anti Semites.
- 26:19Speaker 2: They want to continue looking the other way at prohamas
- 26:21Speaker 2: protesters who threaten Jewish students, who threaten violence, who threaten intimidation,
- 26:26Speaker 2: who call for genocide, And they want to continue admitting
- 26:30Speaker 2: and promoting anti American radicals. And that includes both students
- 26:34Speaker 2: and faculty. And so when the administration put a series
- 26:37Speaker 2: of demands in place that Harvard said, no, I got
- 26:43Speaker 2: to tell you, Harvard thinks they want this fight. In
- 26:46Speaker 2: my opinion, the Trump administration is eager for this fight
- 26:50Speaker 2: with Harvard. And you could not ask Harvard has an
- 26:52Speaker 2: endowment of over fifty billion dollars. And you know, one
- 26:57Speaker 2: of my favorite responses to that to Harvard, Everard's supposed
- 27:01Speaker 2: stance on principle, where they talked about standing for the
- 27:04Speaker 2: First Amendment, is Hillsdale College, which is a great college.
- 27:09Speaker 2: It is a conservative college, a free market college. But
- 27:13Speaker 2: one of the things they do is they don't take
- 27:15Speaker 2: federal money. And Hillsdale actually twigted, well, you can say
- 27:17Speaker 2: anything you like, just don't take federal money. And oddly enough,
- 27:21Speaker 2: Harvard doesn't want to do that. They want the taxpayers
- 27:23Speaker 2: to fund them, but they want to continue to be
- 27:26Speaker 2: embracing racism and vitriolic anti American sentiment while at the
- 27:33Speaker 2: same time being funded by American tax payers.
- 27:36Speaker 1: So when you look at this fight, I do think
- 27:39Speaker 1: one of the very interesting parts of all of this
- 27:41Speaker 1: that we're talking about is now Americans are really waking
- 27:44Speaker 1: up and realizing like where their money has been going,
- 27:47Speaker 1: how much of it is going. And you're right, there's
- 27:49Speaker 1: some of this as research, and that's thing we can
- 27:51Speaker 1: be proud of, and that's a good thing, But a
- 27:53Speaker 1: lot of this is going to indoctrinating kids with radical
- 27:56Speaker 1: leftist ideals. And that's part of the reason why I
- 28:00Speaker 1: think they need this money, right, They want the money
- 28:02Speaker 1: for that reason. They've been doing a great job of
- 28:04Speaker 1: doing that for the last several decades. So if the
- 28:07Speaker 1: money does dry up at places like Harvard and then
- 28:11Speaker 1: we start to see more questions being asked about other money.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Not only could this change universities in a positive way,
- 28:17Speaker 1: I think, for free speech and not having one set
- 28:20Speaker 1: of views that are indoctrinated, but it could also save
- 28:24Speaker 1: the taxpayers a hell of a lot of money because
- 28:25Speaker 1: it's not just Harvard that's getting cash.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, but Harvard is the perfect test subject. And
- 28:31Speaker 2: our universities right now have become indoctrination labs. They've become
- 28:36Speaker 2: places that enforce rigid orthodoxy. And if you say something
- 28:40Speaker 2: that is contrary to the radical leftist view, you risk
- 28:44Speaker 2: being disciplined, you risk being having your grades, and you
- 28:48Speaker 2: also risk just not being admitted. And look, some of
- 28:51Speaker 2: the question comes down to a very simple what is
- 28:55Speaker 2: it that the administration was requesting? Because if the administration
- 29:00Speaker 2: was demanding Harvard must teach in every class that Donald
- 29:03Speaker 2: Trump is the greatest president who have ever lived, I
- 29:06Speaker 2: would agree with Harvard that no university could give in
- 29:09Speaker 2: to a government demand about a specific position like that,
- 29:14Speaker 2: particularly if it's one they disagree with. But that's not
- 29:17Speaker 2: what the Trump administration said. And I have in front
- 29:19Speaker 2: of me the letter that the Trump administration said. It's
- 29:23Speaker 2: five pages. I'm not going to read it all, but
- 29:24Speaker 2: I'm going to read some of the portions of it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: So it is addressed both to Alan Garber, who is
- 29:31Speaker 2: the president of Harvard University, and the Penny Prisker, who
- 29:34Speaker 2: is the lead member of the Harvard Corporation. Penny Pritzker,
- 29:37Speaker 2: by the way, was a cabinet member under Barack Obama.
- 29:39Speaker 2: And the Harvard Corporation runs all of Harvard. And it's
- 29:42Speaker 2: this privately held corporation of all Democrats that run Harvard
- 29:47Speaker 2: as this left wing bastion. Here's how the letter begins.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Dear doctor Garber, the United States has invested in Harvard
- 29:55Speaker 2: University's operation because of the value to the country of
- 29:57Speaker 2: scholarly discovery and academic excellence. But an investment is not
- 30:02Speaker 2: an entitlement. It depends on Harvard upholding federal civil rights law,
- 30:06Speaker 2: and it only makes sense if Harvard fosters the kind
- 30:08Speaker 2: of environment that produces intellectual creativity and scholarly rigor, both
- 30:13Speaker 2: of which are antithetical to ideological capture. Harvard has in
- 30:18Speaker 2: recent years failed to live up to both the intellectual
- 30:21Speaker 2: and civil rights conditions that justify federal investment, but we
- 30:25Speaker 2: appreciate your expression of commitment to repairing those failures and
- 30:28Speaker 2: welcome your collaboration in restoring the university to its promise.
- 30:32Speaker 2: We therefore present the below provisions as the basis for
- 30:35Speaker 2: an agreement in principle that will maintain Harvard's financial relationship
- 30:38Speaker 2: with the federal government. Here's the first governance and leadership reforms.
- 30:45Speaker 2: By August twenty twenty five, Harvard must make meaningful governance
- 30:49Speaker 2: reform and restructuring to make possible major change consistent with
- 30:53Speaker 2: this letter, including fostering clear lines of authority and accountability.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Apparently that was objectionable. Empowering tenured professors and senior leadership,
- 31:03Speaker 2: and from among the tenured professorate and senior leadership exclusively
- 31:08Speaker 2: those most devoted to the scholarly mission of the university
- 31:11Speaker 2: and committed to the changes indicated in this letter. Reducing
- 31:15Speaker 2: the power held by students and untenured faculty. Reducing the
- 31:19Speaker 2: power held by faculty, whether tenured or untenured, at administrators
- 31:23Speaker 2: more committed to activism than scholarship. Now, again, this is
- 31:28Speaker 2: something Harvard found unacceptable. We're not willing to focus on
- 31:31Speaker 2: scholarship instead of activism. Note that's a violation of what
- 31:35Speaker 2: we want to do. And reducing forms of governance bloat, duplication,
- 31:39Speaker 2: or decentralization that interfere with the possibility of reforms indicating
- 31:44Speaker 2: this letter. So that's the first one. Apparently something was
- 31:47Speaker 2: objectionable about that.
- 31:48Speaker 3: What's the next one?
- 31:49Speaker 2: Merit based hiring reform by August twenty twenty five, the
- 31:54Speaker 2: university must adopt and implement merit based hiring policies and
- 31:57Speaker 2: ceased all preferences based on race, color, religion, sex, or
- 32:01Speaker 2: national origin throughout its hiring, promotion, compensation, and related practices
- 32:06Speaker 2: among faculty, staff, and leadership. Now, mind you, that is
- 32:10Speaker 2: existing federal civil rights law, you cannot discriminate against based
- 32:14Speaker 2: on race. And yet for Harvard that is it is outrageous.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Of course they want to discriminate based on race. It's
- 32:22Speaker 2: an ideological commitment. What's the next one? Merit based admissions reform?
- 32:27Speaker 2: By August twenty twenty five, the university must adopt and
- 32:29Speaker 2: implement merit based admission policies and cease all preferences based
- 32:33Speaker 2: on race, color, national origin, or proxies thereof throughout its
- 32:37Speaker 2: undergraduate program, each graduate program, individual, each of its professional schools,
- 32:41Speaker 2: and other programs. Again, the idea of actually admitting students
- 32:45Speaker 2: based on merit rather than discriminating based on race, which
- 32:49Speaker 2: minds you? Discriminating based on race as illegal under federal
- 32:51Speaker 2: civil rights law. To Harvard is anathema. What's the next one?
- 32:57Speaker 2: International admissions reform? By August twenty twenty five, the university
- 33:01Speaker 2: must reform its recruitment, screening, and admission of international students
- 33:06Speaker 2: to prevent admitting students hostile to the American values and
- 33:12Speaker 2: institutions inscribed in the US Constitution and Declaration of Independence,
- 33:17Speaker 2: including students supportive of terrorism or anti Semitism. Again, apparently
- 33:24Speaker 2: that is outrageous and unacceptable. The next one viewpoint diversity
- 33:29Speaker 2: and admission and hiring. By August twenty twenty five, the
- 33:32Speaker 2: university shall commission an external party which will satisfy the
- 33:37Speaker 2: Federal Government as to its competence and good faith, to
- 33:39Speaker 2: audit the student body, faculty, staff, and leadership for viewpoint
- 33:43Speaker 2: diversity such that each department, field, or teaching unit must
- 33:48Speaker 2: be individually viewpoint diverse. Now, notably, they're not saying higher conservatives.
- 33:52Speaker 2: They're not saying hire Trump supporters. They're saying you cannot
- 33:56Speaker 2: have a faculty that is aversally orthodox and indoctrinating that
- 34:02Speaker 2: all have the same view that. You know, the left
- 34:05Speaker 2: loves to prattle on abo about diversity as our strength,
- 34:08Speaker 2: and by diversity they mean we must all be leftist
- 34:11Speaker 2: to believe the same thing, but saith though with different
- 34:14Speaker 2: skin colors. Now, I actually think diversity means having different ideas,
- 34:19Speaker 2: confronting ideas you disagree with. Look, I go through these
- 34:24Speaker 2: to give an example. I think each of those demands
- 34:26Speaker 2: are very reasonable. They're saying, comply with federal law. Be
- 34:30Speaker 2: an institution that actually does what you say, what you
- 34:33Speaker 2: claim to be doing. And yet Harvard is outraged. How
- 34:38Speaker 2: dare you hold us to the terms of federal law.
- 34:42Speaker 2: We cannot comply with that.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's truly incredible. Don't forget. We do this show Monday, Wednesday,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and Friday. Hit that subscriber auto download button. Also, we
- 34:53Speaker 1: have a very special guest that's going to join us

- 35:03Speaker 1: that subscriber or that auto download button in the center
- 35:05Speaker 1: and I will see you back here on Friday morning.
