London, Ont. research team discovers unique clue in diagnosing long COVID
Researchers at Lawson Health Research Institute have found that patients with post-COVID-19 condition (long COVID) have unique biomarkers in their blood. The team is now working on developing a first of its kind blood test that could be used to diagnose long COVID. Dr. Douglas Fraser, the principal investigator for the study, as well as a Lawson Scientist, Critical Care Physician at LHSC, and Professor at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, joins Devon Peacock to discuss.
