  I'm thinking today of Psalm 119 .66. It says,

  Teach me good discernment and knowledge, for

  I believe in your commandments. The psalmist

  is asking God to deliver the ability to understand

  the difference between one thing and another.

  What is good and what is bad? What to do and
• 0:18
  what not to do? Where stands the truth? He makes
• 0:21
  the statement that he believes God's commandments.
• 0:25
  So it is not that he doesn't know what God says,
• 0:27
  but rather that he desires the ability to live
• 0:29
  it out while being able to sort the events of
• 0:31
  life. How to apply the truth is just as important
• 0:34
  as accepting it if you want to follow faithfully.
• 0:37
  It is a journey that does not change the truth,
• 0:40
  but must change the follower.
