- 2:05Speaker 1: come on dig me now to one and on it.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah, man, I get
- 2:12Speaker 1: I get so many emails almost daily. Why do you
- 2:15Speaker 1: say every day you got a radio show? Some people
- 2:18Speaker 1: still don't get it. Well, here it is. I'm not bragging.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm really not. It's just my odd way of saying
- 2:25Speaker 1: thanks to my Heaven and Father. It's my odd way
- 2:28Speaker 1: of strange as it might seem to you, can't you understand?
- 2:31Speaker 1: You know, everybody do it a different way. It's just
- 2:35Speaker 1: a reminder to myself and to anybody that hears me
- 2:39Speaker 1: that God is in the blessed business that God is
- 2:42Speaker 1: in to get your life together business. And I say
- 2:44Speaker 1: it every day because people need to know, because see what,
- 2:48Speaker 1: what some people don't understand is just yesterday, something could
- 2:51Speaker 1: have happened traumatic in somebody's life, a turning point could
- 2:55Speaker 1: have occurred in somebody's life, and they could be sitting
- 2:57Speaker 1: up there listening, trying to make a decision, and it
- 3:00Speaker 1: could be the wrong decision if you don't remind yourself
- 3:03Speaker 1: every day that God is in the blessing business that
- 3:07Speaker 1: he's in, that he's in to get your life together business.
- 3:10Speaker 1: If you're not talking to the right people when you
- 3:12Speaker 1: have a mishap in your life, you'll suddenly start thinking
- 3:15Speaker 1: the wrong way. Oh man, he don't he don't care
- 3:18Speaker 1: about me no more art and blew. It is over now.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Sometimes you need to hear the truth that, hey man,
- 3:24Speaker 1: that there's gonna be some rain in your life. Sometimes
- 3:26Speaker 1: sometimes it's just perchance of life. Sometimes it's a test.
- 3:31Speaker 1: You never know what it is. Sometimes, Uh, you know
- 3:35Speaker 1: you're gonna get your faith tested from time to time,
- 3:37Speaker 1: is what I'm trying to say. Sometimes some things are
- 3:40Speaker 1: gonna happen to see if you really mean what you say,
- 3:42Speaker 1: do you really want your dreams to come true? Or
- 3:45Speaker 1: when you give up as soon as something bad happen.
- 3:47Speaker 1: So that's what happened to so many people along the way.
- 3:50Speaker 1: They just they look at the test the wrong way.
- 3:54Speaker 1: They keep thinking because this mishap has occurred, that is over,
- 3:58Speaker 1: that is fine, that it's a finale in their life.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It ain't ever that, it ain't never. That you got
- 4:04Speaker 1: to go through some things. So when you finally get
- 4:07Speaker 1: to your goal, you have a level of appreciation for it. Man.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You know, when you've really earned something, you know you
- 4:18Speaker 1: take care of it better. You know, Uh, there's a
- 4:24Speaker 1: you know that this is not true in every case.
- 4:27Speaker 1: But I was listening to a guy in this real
- 4:29Speaker 1: estate class I was trying to take one time years ago,
- 4:32Speaker 1: and he said that owners take better care of their
- 4:35Speaker 1: property than do runners. Now, once again, I will say
- 4:39Speaker 1: through life experience that that's not always the case. But
- 4:43Speaker 1: what the man was trying to say in the point
- 4:46Speaker 1: he was trying to make in this real estate class
- 4:48Speaker 1: was it's when you pay for something, when you've earned it,
- 4:53Speaker 1: when you've gone through the paperwork, and if you've ever
- 4:57Speaker 1: brought a house, you know, man on man on and
- 5:00Speaker 1: they take you through it. They want to know everything
- 5:02Speaker 1: about you. And right when you think you've answered all
- 5:05Speaker 1: the questions and fulfill all the requirements before closing, there's
- 5:09Speaker 1: always some more. There's always some mode you got to do.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Everybody didn't bought a house and been through this. You know, well,
- 5:17Speaker 1: we need to look at this. This didn't come out clean.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I thought, we what does this be? All over here?
- 5:23Speaker 1: You got to go pay that off, take care of that,
- 5:25Speaker 1: get a letter from this creditor. Everybody is going through it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Right when you think you that, and when you think
- 5:30Speaker 1: you've done all of it, when you get the closing,
- 5:32Speaker 1: here comes some more. It's more money than they said.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You're just sitting there going wild. But when you get
- 5:40Speaker 1: the house and you walk in it, and you known
- 5:42Speaker 1: went through all of that, and you came up with
- 5:44Speaker 1: the down payments, and you know fulfill all the criments,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and you've been saving for years and you've been dreaming
- 5:50Speaker 1: about this house, and here it is. What the man
- 5:53Speaker 1: was trying to say is you have a level of
- 5:55Speaker 1: appreciation for and that's what happens in life. That's why
- 5:59Speaker 1: you got to go through some things to accomplish your dreams.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So when you fulfill those dreams with God's help, with
- 6:05Speaker 1: with God's help, you have uh, you have an appreciation
- 6:11Speaker 1: for it, meant something to it. You take care of
- 6:14Speaker 1: it better. But like I said, don't mean the runners
- 6:16Speaker 1: don't because I know some great runners out there who
- 6:18Speaker 1: take care of the property, like because they're just good people.
- 6:21Speaker 1: They're just not in a position to own yet. I've
- 6:23Speaker 1: seen that happen more times than not. But you go
- 6:27Speaker 1: through things, so you have a level of appreciation. So
- 6:31Speaker 1: why you are there going through stuff? Understand, it's just
- 6:34Speaker 1: because you've got to come up through something. You got
- 6:37Speaker 1: to have some dirt on you in order to grow.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And a lot of people look at the dirt the
- 6:42Speaker 1: wrong way. You're not buried. You planted when you got
- 6:47Speaker 1: dirt on you. You're not buried. You planted. That's the thing.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You know. Every everything you see beautiful, every tree, every bush,
- 6:56Speaker 1: every plant, every flower, every mountain had dirt on it.
- 7:01Speaker 1: They had to come up through some dirt to be
- 7:05Speaker 1: what they are. You you you you can't eat nothing
- 7:10Speaker 1: a vegetable of any kind or fruit of any kind
- 7:13Speaker 1: that ain't come about the ground. But it's got to
- 7:16Speaker 1: come through the earth the dirt in order to be
- 7:19Speaker 1: what they're gonna be. So when you're going through some stuff,
- 7:23Speaker 1: just know you're gonna get some dirt on you. And
- 7:25Speaker 1: everything changes. Everything changes, But the key to everything changes
- 7:30Speaker 1: is you have to say so in some of it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's like old age. Everything must change. The young are
- 7:36Speaker 1: going if you keep living the young, or are going
- 7:39Speaker 1: to become the old. It's inevitable the young become the old.
- 7:46Speaker 1: But you have a choice. You don't have to be
- 7:49Speaker 1: fifty and sit there and just let old age come
- 7:51Speaker 1: set in you. On you, you're gonna get older. But
- 7:54Speaker 1: do you have to look at though? Do you have
- 7:55Speaker 1: to walk like it? You know if you exercise and
- 7:58Speaker 1: hate right, do you know that you can change the
- 8:00Speaker 1: way that is? You have a say so in some
- 8:03Speaker 1: of it. Man, everything changes, but you can do some
- 8:07Speaker 1: things about it. Do what you can do today, Make
- 8:10Speaker 1: a chance, have a relationship with God. Get your life
- 8:14Speaker 1: on track now. God would love to hear from me today.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It doesn't matter if he ain't heard from you in
- 8:20Speaker 1: a while. That has absolutely nothing to do with it.
- 8:24Speaker 1: God ain't like everybody else. He's a forgiving god. He's
- 8:27Speaker 1: a god of chances. All you got to do is
- 8:30Speaker 1: will take one chance. Take a chance on God. That's
- 8:33Speaker 1: all you got to do. He'll give you many, many,
- 8:35Speaker 1: many chances to come. Ye all and all about your
- 9:06Speaker 1: words A brainful, brainful, so way trying to raise you
- 9:17Speaker 1: a money ships I A yes's faithful this time. I
- 9:56Speaker 1: want you to help us. Steward, lift your hands in
- 9:59Speaker 1: this atmosph things. I'm wayful thing that you have done.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Look at him and tell him, yes, I'm grateful victim
- 10:18Speaker 1: and tell her. I could go on and you could
- 10:28Speaker 1: do the best you can, and you could strive to
- 10:31Speaker 1: be the absolute best you can. But when you make
- 10:34Speaker 1: a mistake, and you are going to make the mistakes,
- 10:38Speaker 1: it's okay. God has already put that into the equation.
- 10:43Speaker 1: He already knows you're going to make them. That's why
- 10:47Speaker 1: he's there for forgiveness, mercy, and grace. It's available to everybody.
- 10:54Speaker 1: All you got to do is want it. Okay, cool,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening to any show. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

- 12:57Speaker 1: text out Carolina, Thank you very much. Fat no fat panther,

- 13:15Speaker 1: f fat panther. Be here tomorrow, brand new character will
- 13:21Speaker 1: be will be in the studio tomorrow. I've been watching
- 13:25Speaker 1: the NFL combines. Everybody now that everybody's interested in that,
- 13:29Speaker 1: but I've got to find out what's going on because
- 13:33Speaker 1: the Browns had two picks in the first four and
- 13:36Speaker 1: I'm on the mock draft. They're saying that we're gonna
- 13:39Speaker 1: pick Sam Donaldson from USC as the quarterback. I would
- 13:43Speaker 1: prefer to we picked Josh Allen out of y O,
- 13:46Speaker 1: that big country boy. He's going to duplicate the success
- 13:51Speaker 1: of Terry Bradshaw. Now do they listen to us now? Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 1: because when you say we, you act like you work
- 13:58Speaker 1: with the Browns organization. I want you to call them.
- 14:03Speaker 1: It's up in there making some ignorant decisions. And now
- 14:07Speaker 1: they say that Chi Kuan the running back out of Pitt. Yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 1: it's gonna go to the New York Giants, which is
- 14:15Speaker 1: hurting me because I wanted us to get him too.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You should call him, Steve, I know, yeah. I always
- 14:23Speaker 1: tell him that they hear the jokes. They should take
- 14:26Speaker 1: the call. I know that you'd be doing them. You
- 14:33Speaker 1: should considerate. We'll be back with the greatest morning showing
- 14:38Speaker 1: the world with thirty something funny right after you're listening
- 14:42Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, Yeah, you're
- 14:47Speaker 1: gonna tell us about a story you had over the weekend.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Story I had on weekend? Hell, I worked, always have
- 14:54Speaker 1: great story, Yeah, I work. What do you want me
- 14:58Speaker 1: to tell you about my weekend. It's all herb. Steve
- 15:01Speaker 1: Harvey doesn't have any more free time until the summer,
- 15:07Speaker 1: so I just work. But you know what, I fixed
- 15:10Speaker 1: my attitude about it. I am grateful to have work
- 15:15Speaker 1: instead of out of here in l A looking for work. Now,
- 15:18Speaker 1: you know what, that's a big and a major step
- 15:21Speaker 1: one man to be great. Man, listen to me, and
- 15:27Speaker 1: I know it's hard what I'm doing. I got that.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But when you know, it's harder not doing anything. You
- 15:35Speaker 1: know something, That's something I've discovered. You know, people talk about, man,
- 15:39Speaker 1: you aren't so hard. Ain't nobody fit to do all that?
- 15:41Speaker 1: But can I tell you something, because I've been not
- 15:44Speaker 1: successful in my life, it is far more difficult to
- 15:47Speaker 1: not succeed at something. It is far more difficult to
- 15:51Speaker 1: not be on the track to accomplish something. To just
- 15:55Speaker 1: be sitting there in your life just letting days blow
- 15:58Speaker 1: by and not knowing and work towards anything. That's horrible, man,
- 16:02Speaker 1: waiting for something to come up. Man, Man, that's how.
- 16:05Speaker 1: But so that's why I want to commend all of
- 16:06Speaker 1: you today, because if you do work, you do go
- 16:09Speaker 1: to work, you do have plans, aspirations and dreams. You
- 16:13Speaker 1: are trying to get things done and accomplished, and that
- 16:17Speaker 1: right there is really like what it's about. You know, well,
- 16:20Speaker 1: thank you for that commendation. Appreciate it's not having works.
- 16:25Speaker 1: It's a whole different way you shot when you don't
- 16:28Speaker 1: have work. We've all been out of work. Your appearance
- 16:31Speaker 1: when you don't have a job, when you get half cut,
- 16:39Speaker 1: this stuff you say when you're when you're gonna fix that? Yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 1: because little stuff when you don't have money, total things
- 16:49Speaker 1: go first first, The little things go first, you know.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Like for example, I didn't fix the breaks on I
- 17:00Speaker 1: sent to shiving when I heard the squeaking on the
- 17:04Speaker 1: brake pads. I just ain't had the money. So I
- 17:08Speaker 1: drove my car until that was no pad. So when
- 17:13Speaker 1: I stepped on the break, the screws was stopping my
- 17:17Speaker 1: car against the against the drum. Oh man, it was,
- 17:24Speaker 1: sayssor my car. When I put on the brake, sound
- 17:26Speaker 1: like a train was coming into a train station. One
- 17:32Speaker 1: dude was crossing the street one time. I had I
- 17:34Speaker 1: want to roll down. I slammed brakes. Scared the man.
- 17:37Speaker 1: You need to fix your damn brains, But he knew
- 17:41Speaker 1: it was breaking. You started stopping so far back from
- 17:46Speaker 1: the stock you actually owned the exit raipil break whatever
- 18:00Speaker 1: and get that money. One time I was passing by
- 18:05Speaker 1: a muffling shop, muffling breakshop, and I got to the
- 18:09Speaker 1: stop sign, and when I stopped my car, two of
- 18:12Speaker 1: the dudes were standing in front of the breakshop with
- 18:14Speaker 1: their heads spread wide over, like you don't really think
- 18:17Speaker 1: you don't need come on in him, and you don't
- 18:24Speaker 1: really think you need to come on in here? O God? Yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: you do what you're get right, and you eat different too. Man.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Peanut button, just peanut' no jet. I'm gonna make me
- 18:50Speaker 1: a peanut button peanut butter, no bread, right man, it's
- 18:59Speaker 1: been rough man. Yeah, at the store, you know I
- 19:04Speaker 1: have shot pot two. Well, I had to make it stretch.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I went to the store and bought a ten pound
- 19:11Speaker 1: bag of potatoes, that roll of bologney with the red
- 19:16Speaker 1: paper around stripe, and just walked out, Yeah, do you
- 19:24Speaker 1: can stretch potato? Yeah? Lordy, don't find that big five
- 19:28Speaker 1: pounds sack of rice. Man, you got the one in
- 19:31Speaker 1: the box, Yeah, the one on your right. You don't
- 19:40Speaker 1: know who was just jelly and said, just jelly, it's
- 19:48Speaker 1: generic food. As good as the name brand food. You
- 19:52Speaker 1: all think, yes, let me tell you what you think,
- 19:55Speaker 1: because some of the some of the sometimes it's some
- 19:57Speaker 1: of the companies are just you know, not to put
- 20:00Speaker 1: the brand on. They can sell that also, so it
- 20:02Speaker 1: gives him another audience, another audience, another group of people
- 20:06Speaker 1: to sell the same thing, just cheat without the brands,
- 20:09Speaker 1: to make them both for the money. But you know
- 20:11Speaker 1: what they do now though, you know, back in the
- 20:13Speaker 1: day it was real generic. Now they have like the
- 20:15Speaker 1: grocery store brand. Yeah, yeah, like Ralph's brand, Croker program.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It's not that bad, right because I would go who
- 20:26Speaker 1: who in the back making the degree? Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 1: That's one thing I never could do when I you know, serial,
- 20:36Speaker 1: I can't buy a generic. Serious, man, you don't even
- 20:41Speaker 1: have a commercial. Yeah, And that's what made me. Won't
- 20:45Speaker 1: your serious? Well I figured for me. If you eat
- 20:48Speaker 1: Raisin brand, won't nobody touch it. It will stay there.
- 20:51Speaker 1: If you like about Raising brand, it'll be right in
- 20:53Speaker 1: the innybody whom steal it? That's weird story, man. My
- 20:57Speaker 1: father in law loves Raising brand, so when he comes
- 20:59Speaker 1: to the house, awesome. My mother law, Mama Mama does this.
- 21:04Speaker 1: She makes his raisin bread feels it feels it up
- 21:07Speaker 1: with raising bread feels it up with me is getting
- 21:09Speaker 1: milk has gotta be flooded and it has to sit
- 21:13Speaker 1: for at least an hour and get soggy. Yeah, like
- 21:17Speaker 1: an oatmeal. Come in and eat it. That's what you
- 21:21Speaker 1: want raising bread. So the first time I saw it
- 21:25Speaker 1: at the house, I don't do no housework. But that
- 21:27Speaker 1: day I saw that's who the hell let his raising
- 21:29Speaker 1: threw it away? Boy? Problem, it was a problem. It
- 21:40Speaker 1: was a situation. We'll be back with church complaints coming
- 21:43Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Coming up. At the top of the hour, Miss Anne
- 21:50Speaker 1: will be here with our national news for today, which
- 21:53Speaker 1: includes the latest on that deadly winter storm Rightley that
- 21:57Speaker 1: hit the Northeast this past weekend. But right now it
- 22:00Speaker 1: is time for church complaints. Let's go pastors. Uh buloo,
- 22:10Speaker 1: Gracian father, who's high m hmm. We we'd have made
- 22:22Speaker 1: it or to another monthy, but along with us are
- 22:29Speaker 1: making it to another monthy. But here comes the haters
- 22:36Speaker 1: from the week before, always something wrong here. I call
- 22:43Speaker 1: this the most ungrateful congregation ever gathered under the crows,
- 22:52Speaker 1: and who brings their complaints none other than supposedly my ball. Yeah,
- 23:01Speaker 1: but our body who was working at the break and
- 23:06Speaker 1: muffler stop. Yes, I was, and now I made him
- 23:10Speaker 1: one of the top deacons. Hell he brings the complaint,
- 23:17Speaker 1: Deacon del Jill. But I can still fix your breaks
- 23:20Speaker 1: if you need me too. That I wish you put
- 23:25Speaker 1: the brakes on some of the complaints at the congregation.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Gibs me, I have to give it to Let let's
- 23:32Speaker 1: go o. You all right, I'm in the mite. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: don't know what I'm doing around. You ain't hold me
- 23:43Speaker 1: in it. You're supposed to be on it, alright. The
- 23:46Speaker 1: church wants to so much better, alright. The church wants
- 23:50Speaker 1: to start our own uber called Cuba and we will
- 23:55Speaker 1: um pick up church folks and drop them off. But
- 23:59Speaker 1: they want to use your compastor to start this service. Chew.
- 24:03Speaker 1: But is the name of it? Yeah, church Uber, that's
- 24:08Speaker 1: oh h chewba. Well, uh, that's not gonna help you,
- 24:19Speaker 1: it would I didn't. I took the money after church
- 24:24Speaker 1: by the cadillac. Get the Cadillac back to the church
- 24:31Speaker 1: to bring the money back in. And don't like the
- 24:34Speaker 1: ch well, I sure ain't gonna go pick up a
- 24:38Speaker 1: bunch of people that don't like me church where that
- 24:43Speaker 1: would Wouldn't that be a good way of paying the
- 24:45Speaker 1: church back from what you took past? I didn't. I'm
- 24:49Speaker 1: not paying the church back. That's part of the expensies. Okay,
- 24:55Speaker 1: but that's not in in no paperwork that you can
- 24:58Speaker 1: do that. You do know that I haven't seen any paperwork.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't get paperwork from the Cadillac dealership either, because
- 25:08Speaker 1: I paid cash. Don't let me write this leaves a
- 25:13Speaker 1: paper trailer. Come on, now, you have taken some of
- 25:18Speaker 1: the church's money and a bout you a cod without
- 25:20Speaker 1: the permission. I took a donation from the church which
- 25:27Speaker 1: was given to me in the phone of a love offered,
- 25:31Speaker 1: and they loved me so much they bought the Cadillac. Okay,
- 25:38Speaker 1: Now the problem with me is, Deacon, does the people
- 25:42Speaker 1: in the treasury do they know this? Because I know
- 25:44Speaker 1: this firt time I'm hearing about you getting nobody given
- 25:47Speaker 1: you a love offering. This big enough to buy a
- 25:49Speaker 1: cat bag. Excuse me, this is the first time I'm
- 25:55Speaker 1: here and about a love. I don't fer big enough
- 25:57Speaker 1: to buy you a gangla and you the digg and
- 26:00Speaker 1: didn't you count the money I count? Get to me? No, no, no,
- 26:07Speaker 1: no no no no no no no no. You collect
- 26:09Speaker 1: the offering, you count it, you get to me. Now,
- 26:12Speaker 1: I didn't get it in one collection. I've been saving it, okay,
- 26:19Speaker 1: all right, and over the years we've collected enough for
- 26:23Speaker 1: the Cadillac. Listen, I'm not gonna say nothing to the
- 26:26Speaker 1: members about this, but because I don't, just could get ugly.
- 26:29Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna say nothing about this. But what
- 26:33Speaker 1: what are you gonna do? I would advise you not
- 26:39Speaker 1: to let any members know that that's where this Cadillac
- 26:42Speaker 1: comes from. Now, I'm just digging, digging, I ain't working. No, Well,
- 26:50Speaker 1: what you think that is? It has not been a secret.
- 26:52Speaker 1: This is the love offering that I have received, the
- 26:55Speaker 1: love offering, and in the love offering, they give it
- 27:00Speaker 1: to me, and I saved my money by the calor.
- 27:02Speaker 1: What the problem is? They see the problem? Hill? What's
- 27:12Speaker 1: the problem are you saying? You're trying to hoot me
- 27:18Speaker 1: by saying to me that the cong you trying that
- 27:24Speaker 1: the congregation don't love me. I did not now now now,
- 27:28Speaker 1: I did not say that. I didn't say that now
- 27:30Speaker 1: that much seemed to me like what you lead me
- 27:32Speaker 1: to it? Wait a minute, Wait a minute, I yell,
- 27:35Speaker 1: feeling sounds like sounds like you all that up given
- 27:42Speaker 1: to the jack part joint of Jerufe first of all
- 27:47Speaker 1: the name. But you think you deserve to take money
- 27:51Speaker 1: and buy yourself it called a love offering? Deacon? What
- 27:57Speaker 1: do you do with your salary? And I just didn't.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I've never seen that much love come through the check.
- 28:02Speaker 1: But if you say something, they don't love you as
- 28:05Speaker 1: much as they love me. I've been at this. I've
- 28:06Speaker 1: been posting at just church thirty one years, not a
- 28:10Speaker 1: saved thirty one years of love offered it. Finally bought
- 28:13Speaker 1: a Cadillac. Now we got problem with that, Okay, alright,
- 28:19Speaker 1: be there after let me just move alout and if
- 28:25Speaker 1: you're gonna leave a car way, we're not gonna get
- 28:26Speaker 1: into that. And now listen to the car right out
- 28:29Speaker 1: front in that special reserve place. Damn you didn't, you didn't.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I got two diggers out there Washington. Now all right,
- 28:40Speaker 1: listen um. Sister Nadine Ridgeway had a hip replacement last month.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Now she got it done at a veterinarian clinic. For
- 28:50Speaker 1: some reason, she keeps barking doing service and it's bothering
- 28:54Speaker 1: the members. You're gonna have to talk to well us
- 29:00Speaker 1: put this out there, brother Sin. I took her down
- 29:06Speaker 1: there in the Cadillac. She so, now you're ubering people
- 29:11Speaker 1: in this Now. I didn't uber her. I took her
- 29:14Speaker 1: down there, but that's she said, give me a ride.
- 29:16Speaker 1: As far as you're going, and far as I was
- 29:18Speaker 1: going was to the veterinary. How to make a laugh,
- 29:23Speaker 1: I don't know she's gonna go in now. When she
- 29:26Speaker 1: went and then got the hip replacement. But for some
- 29:28Speaker 1: reason to see barking doing saving the hospital was on
- 29:33Speaker 1: the next ConA when I let out onto the corner.
- 29:37Speaker 1: All she had doing going down one more call and
- 29:39Speaker 1: she could have got hip replaced me that hospital. Now
- 29:41Speaker 1: she can shut up and there and got this dog
- 29:43Speaker 1: replaced me. She got dogs. Put it gonna be some balking.
- 29:49Speaker 1: You don't I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what's
- 29:52Speaker 1: gonna have hill She gonna matter. I don't know why
- 30:03Speaker 1: she thinks that humors. So what did you want to
- 30:07Speaker 1: do about this woman barking insane? I don't know what
- 30:10Speaker 1: about the ball in the service, that's not about. I
- 30:13Speaker 1: haven't heard it yet. She must be baking soul. Yeah,
- 30:18Speaker 1: all right, all right, coming up of the Marcus out
- 30:23Speaker 1: of here. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:28Speaker 1: Miss Anne is gonna be here with today's national news.
- 30:31Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Last
- 30:41Speaker 1: night was the nineties Annual Academy Awards. It was hosted
- 30:44Speaker 1: by Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy was funny last night. He did not. Yes,
- 30:48Speaker 1: of course I didn't see it. Yeah, the Oscars were forever. Yeah. Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 1: But somebody asked, why you didn't see it? Why didn't
- 31:01Speaker 1: you see it? I was working. Hey, Shirley and Carla
- 31:08Speaker 1: have some updates for us on the Oscars than I
- 31:12Speaker 1: wasn't able to see because I was working. Our girls,
- 31:15Speaker 1: Tiffany Hattish and Maya Rudolph. They stole the show holding
- 31:19Speaker 1: their shoes because their feet were hurting when they came
- 31:22Speaker 1: out on stage. I loved it. I loved it. I
- 31:24Speaker 1: loved it. And then the hashtag oscars so white reference
- 31:28Speaker 1: take a listen. We are so happy to be here,
- 31:31Speaker 1: but a little nervous too, because a few years ago
- 31:34Speaker 1: people were saying that Oscars were so white and since
- 31:37Speaker 1: then some real progress has been made. But we when
- 31:40Speaker 1: we came out together, we know some of you were thinking,
- 31:43Speaker 1: are the Oscars too black now? But we just want
- 31:48Speaker 1: to say, don't worry. There are so many more white
- 31:52Speaker 1: people to come. So many We just came from backstage
- 31:57Speaker 1: and there are tons of them that things of the
- 32:00Speaker 1: moment of the evening belonged to Francis McDormand. When she
- 32:04Speaker 1: won Best Actress Award, you know, for the movie Three
- 32:07Speaker 1: Billboards outside of Ebbing, Missouri. Shirley, you saw the movie.
- 32:10Speaker 1: J you guys saw the movie. She had all the
- 32:13Speaker 1: women nominees in the room to stand up, take a listen.
- 32:17Speaker 1: If I may be so honored to have all the
- 32:20Speaker 1: female nominees in every category stand with me in this
- 32:23Speaker 1: room tonight. The actors, Maryland, you do it. Everybody else
- 32:27Speaker 1: will come on. The filmmaker to produces, the directors, the
- 32:33Speaker 1: writer listen, a metallographer, because the composers to the songwriter,
- 32:39Speaker 1: designers come on. Francis ended her speech though with two words,
- 32:47Speaker 1: inclusion writer and everyone. It was all over social media.
- 32:51Speaker 1: What is an inclusion writer and an inclusion writer is
- 32:54Speaker 1: a clause and an actor's contract that requires the cast
- 32:59Speaker 1: and crew to be diverse in order to retain the actor.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Shout out to Francis mcdormant. They didn't let you off
- 33:06Speaker 1: for the Oscars. You know what I ain't. I'll be
- 33:10Speaker 1: almost Hey, could I be off this? But I got
- 33:18Speaker 1: to be off for the You're the first thing you
- 33:24Speaker 1: got to be off yet. Yeah, bottomie, Steven, you are
- 33:32Speaker 1: for what who do you ask to be I don't
- 33:36Speaker 1: know who do you ask? You asked me? Well, I
- 33:41Speaker 1: don't really ask to be off. I just tell whatever
- 33:46Speaker 1: deal I mean to move a date that I won't
- 33:50Speaker 1: be here for this or something like every Wednesday, y'
- 33:52Speaker 1: all the TV show. Well, yeah, you have to talk show.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I'm just off on everybody's off, so I don't have
- 34:00Speaker 1: to ask, and you won't do nothing on that day. Well,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I try not to do nothing on that day, j
- 34:06Speaker 1: But I wind up, like I always say, I asked
- 34:09Speaker 1: my team not to book any meetings, Uh, don't do
- 34:13Speaker 1: any other TV appearances because when people get ahold of
- 34:17Speaker 1: my schedule and they see that Wednesday, they start drumming
- 34:20Speaker 1: up stuff they need, like promotion shoots. Let me stop
- 34:23Speaker 1: you right there, Steve. Do you ask them or do
- 34:25Speaker 1: you do it in memo form. Wow, just for sure. No,
- 34:36Speaker 1: I want you all to understanding Steve Harvey that memo
- 34:40Speaker 1: le Steve Harvey ain't type man, not hey man. The
- 34:52Speaker 1: way they did me. I said, okay, yeah, okay, ladies
- 35:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, she's here, Miss and Trip. Thank you very
- 35:07Speaker 1: much everybody, and good morning. This is Ander put the news.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Thousands of homes and businesses from Virginia to New England
- 35:12Speaker 1: still without power this morning following Friday's northeaster, which is
- 35:16Speaker 1: a blame for nine deaths. By the way, the Trump
- 35:18Speaker 1: administration had said today as a deadline to and DACA.
- 35:22Speaker 1: That's the Obama era program they protected dream as people
- 35:25Speaker 1: brought here illegally as young children. But Congress had been
- 35:29Speaker 1: working on new legislation that has so far failed to
- 35:31Speaker 1: put anything together. And now an appeal is to be
- 35:34Speaker 1: decided by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In other words,
- 35:37Speaker 1: the doctor the Dreamers are still in their situation is
- 35:39Speaker 1: still influx Sander. Chris Murphy says that President Trump is
- 35:42Speaker 1: the only one who can shepherd through tougher gun laws
- 35:45Speaker 1: through the Congress. Murphy, who was on ABC's This Week,
- 35:47Speaker 1: says unwavering presidential leadership is what we need. Republicans have
- 35:51Speaker 1: been so tied to the n Ray over the years
- 35:53Speaker 1: that unless he tells them that they have to move,
- 35:55Speaker 1: nothing's going to happen. And sort of like what happened
- 35:57Speaker 1: on immigration, there's a meeting in which she suggests he's
- 36:00Speaker 1: willing to do a deal, um and then he walks
- 36:03Speaker 1: away from the table, which is why Connecticut Democrats says
- 36:05Speaker 1: that he expects Trump to continue to quote Bob and
- 36:08Speaker 1: weave on this issue. President Trump also still insisting meanwhile
- 36:11Speaker 1: on posing an imposing tariffs on imported steel and aluminum,
- 36:14Speaker 1: or proposal that critics say coreld anger US allies and
- 36:17Speaker 1: quoted and cause the trade war, comments Secretary will You
- 36:20Speaker 1: Will Ross was on NBC's Meet the Press defending Donald Trump,
- 36:23Speaker 1: while Main's Independent Center Anger's King was critical. I think
- 36:26Speaker 1: you have to take the President at his word, but
- 36:29Speaker 1: you want to do these kinds of things with a scalpel,
- 36:31Speaker 1: not a chainsaw. Senator King says Trump's terrorists would punish
- 36:35Speaker 1: allies like Canada, a top export or steel and aluminum
- 36:38Speaker 1: to the US industries that used it to make everything
- 36:41Speaker 1: from cars to soup cans. Schools in West Virginia closed
- 36:44Speaker 1: for the eighth day today, school day anyway thanks to
- 36:46Speaker 1: continuing teachers strike. A pack of the American Israel Public
- 36:50Speaker 1: Affairs Committee opened a three day meeting in Washington on Sunday.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Yahoo, who Israeli police reportedly want
- 36:56Speaker 1: to see and died for alleged corruption, is scheduled to
- 36:59Speaker 1: addressed after meeting with President Trump later today. The movie
- 37:02Speaker 1: Black Panther continues to roll and made sixty five million
- 37:06Speaker 1: extra dollars over the weekend, and among the winners of
- 37:08Speaker 1: this year's Academy Awards, Kobe Bryant for Best Animated Short Film,
- 37:12Speaker 1: Dear Basketball, Who Knew He Wrote In Jordan Peel, who
- 37:16Speaker 1: won for Best Original Screenplay for Get Out, Get Out,
- 37:20Speaker 1: the Best Film The Shape of Water. Looping back with
- 37:23Speaker 1: more entertainment in today's trending topics. Twenty minutes after the
- 37:25Speaker 1: hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 37:28Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. All right, I'm Friday night. Uh you
- 37:33Speaker 1: got I don't know if you guys heard about this.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Hip hop artist Rick Ross was rushed to the hospital
- 37:38Speaker 1: after reportedly suffering a heart attack um wow um. In
- 37:44Speaker 1: two thousand eleven, Yeah, Rick Ross suffered two seizures within
- 37:48Speaker 1: hours and later openly discussed his poor health habits. Now
- 37:52Speaker 1: this is, according to TMZ, Rick is in the hospital
- 37:55Speaker 1: hooked up to a machine that is performing heart and
- 37:57Speaker 1: lung functions. Although Rick Ross for an sent family, Uh,
- 38:01Speaker 1: they're denying that claim that he's on life support. Uh. Now,
- 38:05Speaker 1: we all know that fifty cent and Rick Ross have
- 38:07Speaker 1: been who immortal enemies. They've been beefing for a long
- 38:10Speaker 1: long time. So now, according to TMZ, again people are
- 38:14Speaker 1: mad at fifty cents because he posted a shocking picture
- 38:18Speaker 1: that is clearly directed at his long time enemy Rick Ross.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Some feeling like he's mocking Rick Ross. A picture fifty
- 38:27Speaker 1: Cent posted is of Ivan Drago from one of the
- 38:30Speaker 1: Rocky movies. Um, the precise scene is when Drago is
- 38:34Speaker 1: standing over Apollo Creed. We all remember this as Creed
- 38:38Speaker 1: is dying and Drago says if he dies, he dies. Yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 1: come on, fifty is just cold blooded. Yea posted that
- 38:50Speaker 1: saying if he dies, he dies about Rick Ross. Yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 1: that's crazy that that that's not very sensitive, very insensitive.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Stars from the hip hop industry, including Drakes Snoop, Chris Rock,
- 39:02Speaker 1: did he Missy? Elliott, ll Cool, Jake, French Montana, French
- 39:06Speaker 1: Montana and more are all praying for Rick Ross as
- 39:09Speaker 1: we all are. Um. You know, he's an important cat,
- 39:12Speaker 1: you know, all of them to somebody, But he just
- 39:16Speaker 1: happens to be a famous person. He's a good dude. Man.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I've only met him once, but he just he seems
- 39:22Speaker 1: like a good dude to me. Man, I don't see.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I don't wish nothing on my enemies, like because I
- 39:28Speaker 1: don't want it to happen to me, and just because
- 39:31Speaker 1: you just that's not how you roll. Yeah, you treat
- 39:34Speaker 1: people you want to be treated. But Ficky got way
- 39:36Speaker 1: too much going on to carry that. Yeah, come on,
- 39:39Speaker 1: you know, and if it was done in humor, he
- 39:42Speaker 1: missed us next time with some comedia, yeah yeah, and
- 39:49Speaker 1: we say it's over the line. Yeah I could that.
- 39:55Speaker 1: You know. You know that beef goes back a long time.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Remember your whole baby Mama's sex tape. This will be
- 40:02Speaker 1: a good time for Fitty to step up and wish
- 40:04Speaker 1: him well and squash the be you know what I mean?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Something Okay, now listen this God forbe is something happened

- 40:26Speaker 1: are all right. We're coming up after thirty or four,
- 40:29Speaker 1: after the hour. Jay Anthony Brown is here, of course
- 40:32Speaker 1: to do what to murder another mud another hit, murder, murder.
- 40:40Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to Steve Show. Okay, Steve,

- 40:54Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is gonna be
- 40:56Speaker 1: a little hit Steph and I put together. We let
- 40:58Speaker 1: call it off the cuff, off the Cup, because that's
- 41:01Speaker 1: exactly what it is. But before we played the hit,
- 41:03Speaker 1: I'd like to thank all the people who came out
- 41:05Speaker 1: to celebrate Paul Mooney and honor Dick Regory. You know,
- 41:10Speaker 1: it was it was so good man. We played the
- 41:12Speaker 1: video of Dick Regory, a lot of comments that never
- 41:15Speaker 1: seen him to stand up, you know, back in the day,
- 41:18Speaker 1: and then we had Paul Mooney sitting on the stage London.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Brown did an impression, dead on impression U pulmoney while
- 41:24Speaker 1: even standing right, and it was great man. I'd like
- 41:27Speaker 1: to thank everybody came out and uh yeah it was.
- 41:31Speaker 1: It was to honor him, Steve, And you know I
- 41:33Speaker 1: would I would have I would have done no term,
- 41:35Speaker 1: But I'm said something abody man, because he's really influenced me.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Now he's he's a legend man that and when you
- 41:42Speaker 1: use the word, you don't use the word lightly. But
- 41:44Speaker 1: he is definitely a legend in comedy. Man. He changed
- 41:47Speaker 1: the game for a lot of people like it. So
- 41:49Speaker 1: with that being said, this is a little ditty we

- 58:29Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry letter. Subject you did? What where?
- 58:35Speaker 1: All right? Dear Stephen, Shirley, I met the love of
- 58:39Speaker 1: my life. This beautiful woman was so perfect I could
- 58:43Speaker 1: not believe she was still single. Well after dating her
- 58:46Speaker 1: for six months, I figured out exactly why she is
- 58:50Speaker 1: not married. She has a bizarre, nasty habit. It all
- 58:55Speaker 1: started to go downhill when I took her around my
- 58:58Speaker 1: friends for the first time. We went to a house
- 59:00Speaker 1: party and had a good time eating and drinking. The
- 59:03Speaker 1: next day, my friend called me upset because someone had
- 59:08Speaker 1: relieved themselves in his bathroom drawer. What to put it politely,
- 59:15Speaker 1: it was not urine. What he thought someone had had
- 59:20Speaker 1: too much to drink and made a mistake. Two months later,
- 59:24Speaker 1: my lady and I went to play cards at another
- 59:27Speaker 1: friend's home. The next day, my buddy called me and
- 59:30Speaker 1: was very upset because someone had relieved themselves in his
- 59:34Speaker 1: son's closet. It's odd to me that it's happened twice,
- 59:39Speaker 1: but I don't dwell on it. A week later, my
- 59:42Speaker 1: lady and I went to my brother's house for a cookout.
- 59:45Speaker 1: The next day, same thing. My brother called me and
- 59:49Speaker 1: said he had discovered a mess on the back seat
- 59:53Speaker 1: of his suv. Now there have been three incidents and
- 59:57Speaker 1: it's starting to get really weird. So I mentioned it
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: to my girl. I told her that everywhere we had been,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: someone had left a surprise for the homeowner. Each time.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Her response blew my mind. She shamefully admitted that it
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: was her all three times. She said she can't help it.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: She likes to relieve herself in odd places when she
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: goes out. She said she tried therapy for many years,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: but nothing has worked. I consulted consulted a psychiatrist on
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: my own, and he said that the problem is very
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: common and that I should stay with her and support her.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I was going to marry this woman, but now I'm
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: thinking that marriage would not be a good idea. What's
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: your advice? Should I throw in the towel now? Or
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: stay with her and help her through this? All? Right?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: My ample is going to be very short and very simple.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Run as fast as you can. This is not a
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: good look. Run. Something medically is wrong with her, mentally
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: is wrong with her. Therapy didn't help her. Uh. I
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: don't think anything can be helped by this situation. This
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: is crazy and nasty. Steve, Run, I say run. You know,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: things like this is what I specialize, and this is
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: why I'm a proponent of who I go to school
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: when you could do coming see, education will get in
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: the way of what I'm about to say, schooling and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and and proper technique and discussing what could have gone
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: wrong in her childhood? How normally is a behavior clinically
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: what this is called? Well, there is no clinical name
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: for this. Let's call this what it is. This is
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: just yeah, come on, boy, come on? What is it again?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: They can't believe I said just bleep it cat all
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: this sea is and you can't call this listen to me.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: This is shout out. You're just running round. You want
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: to Yeah, now we come back. We want to give
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: a different name to We're gonna call it the ice
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: te But what really is it? Right now? We all
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: know you just want rush and disgust will be what
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: come on, let's get to part two. Set let me
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: get this subject. Guy, you did? What where? Ahead? I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: just want to say question, because can I say it
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: one time? You know you can? Let me say you
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: know you can? You don't do it? Okay, go ahead, Jakes,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: this is yes much? Then now let me explain something
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: to you. Miss his beautiful woman. You can't believe she's
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: still a single, But then you find out why she's
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: still a single, because she got a disgusting habit. She
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: likes to relieve herself in odd places. She then went
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: over your friends cops. She the sugar honted ice tea
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: in the draw in the bathroom. She went over another
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: buddy house. She the sugar hooded ice teeth in your
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: in the sun clothes. Then she went over your brother's house,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: set her fucking ass up in the back seat on
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: this issue V and sugar. That's right here. It's a
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: nasty on this. Then you can marry her if you
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: want to. She'g gonna be walking around house discovering stock.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: You got one day, open up your laptop, beating dead
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: in the hell, sugar on the iced tea on this
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: damn keyboard. You know who it is. It's Hu. That's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: why her finding her and the ain't got nobody, because
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: ain't nobody solving that. You're gonna be sitting here putting
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: on your coat, stick your hand in your pocket in
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: the hell, shivering up on the iced tea, and then
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you checking pocket. You nasty. You can't stay with nobody
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: like this man, I got the training for this up
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: in here. Y'all in the y'all in the living room,

- 1:04:52Speaker 1: just it's just everywhere. You're going down the infacement. You're
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: gonna wash a load of clothes. You open up the
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: lid tea in the damn washing machine. You're sitting up
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: in here. You're going the bathroom. You ain't paying no attention.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You use the bathroom where you're supposed to use it.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: You flushed the toilet like you post to. You get

- 1:17:38Speaker 1: really long show. So here's what we're gonna do. Not
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: saying you shouldn't give a long speech, but whoever gives
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the shortest speech tonight we'll go home with Johnny. Tell
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: them what they'll win chet ski. Well. The winner was
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Mark Bridges. He was costume designer for the movie Phantom Thread.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: His speech was thirty six seconds long. Shout out to
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Marry J. Blige though she looked beautiful last night. Shout

- 1:18:35Speaker 1: they came out on stage. I loved it. I loved it.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I loved it. And then the hashtag oscar so white
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: reference take a listen. We are so happy to be here,

- 1:18:47Speaker 1: people were saying that Oscars were so white, and since
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: then some real progress has been made. But we when
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: we came out together, we know some of you were thinking,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: are the Oscars too black? Man? But we just want
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to say, don't worry. There are so many more white
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: people to come, soul men. We just came from backstage
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and there are tons of them. Back Things of the

- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Francis ended her speech though with two words, inclusion writer
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: and everyone. It was all over social media. What is
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: an inclusion writer and an inclusion writer is a clause
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and an actor's contract that requires the cast and crew
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: to be diverse in order to retain the actor. Shout

- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I thought no one would ever make this movie, but
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: I kept coming back to it because I knew if
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: someone let me make this movie that people would hear
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: it and people would see it. So I want to
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: dedicate this to all the people who raised my voice
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: and let me make this movie. Shout out to Jordan
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Peel Forget Out. He won for Original Screenplay the nineties

- 1:24:46Speaker 1: the Spurs are smart, they're well run, and they're they're
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: a focused team. Obama's interest in the team got the

- 1:28:40Speaker 1: Although Rick Ross friends and family, uh, they're denying that
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: claim that he's on life support. Now, we all know
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: that fifty cent and Rick Ross have been mortal enemies.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: They've been beefing for a long long time. So now,
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: according to TMZ, again people are mad at fifty cents
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: because he posted a shocking picture that is clearly directed
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: at his longtime enemy Rick Ross. Some feeling like he's
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: mocking Rick Ross. A picture fifty Cent posted is of
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Ivan Drago from one of the Rocky movies. The precise
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: scene is when Drago is standing over Apollo Creed. We
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: all remember this as Creed is dying and Drago says
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: if he dies, he dies. Yeah, come on, fifty that's crazy.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: That that's not very sensitive, very insensitive. Starts from the
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: hip hop industry, including Drake Snoop, Chris Rock did he,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: Missy Elliott, LLL Cool, Jake, French Montana, French Montana and
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: more are all praying for Rick Ross as we all are. Um,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: he's an important cat, you know, all of the to somebody,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: But he just happens to be a famous person. He's
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: a good dude. Man, I've only met any wars, but
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: he just he seems like a good dude to me. Man.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: I don't, I don't, I don't see. I don't wish
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: nothing on my enemies, like because I don't want it
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: to happen with me, and just because you just that's
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: not how you roll. Yeah, you treat all you want
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: to be treated. But fifty got way too much going
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: on to carry that. Yeah, come on, you know, and
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: if it was done in humor, miss thick with us
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: next time with some real commedia. Yeah yeah, and we
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: say it's over the line. Yeah, I couldn't go down.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: You know. You know that beef goes back a long time.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Remember your whole Baby Mama's sex taping. This will be
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: a good time for Fitty to step up and wishing
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: well and watch the bee you know what I mean? Yeah,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: there's something Okay, Now listen to this God Forbear, something
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: happened to Ricky. Don't say what what? What? What do
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: that win you? It changes your position in life? Zero
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: zero nothing happened? Yeah, well again we're all praying for
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: like Ross, we really are all right. Coming up, Steve
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Harvey has special closing remarks you're listening to. Here we
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: go on this Monday after the OSCARS last break of
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: the day. Here's Steve with his closing remarks. My closes
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: remarks today as rather personal to me, as I'm sure
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: it is with a lot of you when you hear
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: the subject. But I want to try to encourage people
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: to make this readily available to themselves. I can't even
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: begin to tell you how effective this weapon has been
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: for me throughout my life. How many times I have
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: used this to help me, to comfort me, to soothe me,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: to guide me, to just make me feel like somebody's listening.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about the effectiveness of prayer. I want to
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: remind everybody on a personal level of what prayer has
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: meant to me. Now, I'm sure there are millions of
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: people listen to me know exactly what I'm talking about,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: but sometimes you gotta say it out loud, as reminded
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: to yourself and just an offer to other people who
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: might be struggling out there, because everybody struggles with something,
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: but every time I've truly struggled with something, prayer has
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: been my most most effective tool. It really is. Man.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: The thing about prayer. The cool thing about prayers you
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: don't have to ask for nobody's permission, You don't need
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: an appointment, you don't have to clear it with anybody.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: And I'm sure that you know people will share with
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: you certain methods they use. But really, any way you
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: do it be just fine. You don't have to be
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: on your knees, you know, if you want to, that's
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: absolutely fine. But you could be on the public transportation,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: you could be driving, you could be sitting in your car,
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: you could be in your cubicle. You could be at
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: your desk, you could be at your workstation, you could
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: be walking on the way to lunch. If you can
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: do it anywhere, So please don't wait until you have
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: an available space or time, because the thing about prayering
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: God man, He's always available. The cool thing about prayer also,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: it doesn't require perfection. And what I mean by that
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: is you don't have to have yourself together to do it.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: This is a big one that people need to understand.
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: Prayer does not required perfection. As a matter of fact,
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: prayer doesn't require that you come to pray after you
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: get it right. A matter of fact, you don't have
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: to get it right. You don't have to be perfect.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Prayer is for broken people. Prayer is for people that
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: are confused, used. Prayers for people who are unsure about
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: the next move. Prayer is for people who are grieving.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: Prayer is for people who are hurting. Prayer is for
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: people who feel alone. It's for people who got nowhere
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: to go, who have no place to turn. Now, it
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: would be good if you used it all the time,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: but let's be honest, a lot of times we wait
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: till something is wrong. It's best to do it all
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: the time. But if you are finding yourself in one
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: of these positions of being broken, confused, unsure, hurting, grieving alone,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: then it's available. Because the thing about God is he's merciful.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: He understands already that you're not perfect. He understands already
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: that you only come to him a lot of times
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: when you really need him. But to in sadible thing
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: about him is he's always there. That's incredible. God is
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: behind the prison walls, He's inside of hospitals. God is
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: down at the funeral home. God shows up man when
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: he needed most, when he's needed most. And it doesn't matter,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: because let me tell you what prayer has done for me.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: It is giving me comfort. It has given me a
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: sure fire way to get real answers. Prayer connects us
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: to the greatest source of power available to man. I'm
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: just talking to you real, y'all. I'm just giving it
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: to you the way I see it. That are people
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: who can explain prayer far better than me. I'm pretty
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: sure there's some people in that pool pit can give
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: you a cold cold definition of prayer. But what if
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: you ain't, what if you ain't down that Sunday. I'm
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: just telling you from a hood cat that prayer has
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: worked for me, that it got through got me through
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: some of my darkest moments when it seemed like everywhere
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: I turned they was against me. Prayer got me through it. Oh.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: I've dealt some things publicly, man, Lord her Mercy, man
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: that I know would have crumbled me if it was
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: not for prayer. I've heard people talking about me that
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: don't even know me, ain't never met me, just saying
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: negative about me. You know what got me through it? Prayer.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: You know when they all said I was just ignorant
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: person on television. Prayer when I was being called out
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: of my name, what I felt was unjustifiably prayer, Prayer
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: when they lie about me, dragged my character and name
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: through the mud with lies. Prayer, prayer when I was
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: homeless and living in that car. Prayer, Prayer changes things.
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: Just use it, man, Stop being proud and use it
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: because prayer works. Pray. Don't ask nobody, listen, don't forget
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: to pray, don't be ashamed to pray, and don't ever
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: be too proud to pray because prayer. Prayer changes things.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: You can believe at y'all have a great weekend. It's
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: already I'm working this weekend to have a great weekend. Prayer, Amen,
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: We're gonna pray for all. Steve Harvey Contests No purchase necessary,
