- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the million bucks things in the Stubbs Star true good
- 0:20Speaker 1: of listening to mother, Please, I don't join Jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water got Come come on your tha Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will, I come on and everybody you are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, okay,
- 2:15Speaker 1: here we go. You know what's important, What's what can
- 2:21Speaker 1: be a huge part of your success is if you
- 2:25Speaker 1: if you find a balance, if you find a balance
- 2:30Speaker 1: in your life. That's that's been very important for me.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And I've really never phrased it this way until now,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but I was kind of thinking about it after my
- 2:41Speaker 1: wife and I mean we set up one night recently. Man.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You know, I often come on here and this is
- 2:46Speaker 1: kind of an inspirational moment of the show, and I
- 2:49Speaker 1: try to remind people about that most important relationship between
- 2:54Speaker 1: you and God. And that's that's the apex of it.
- 2:57Speaker 1: That's that's the that's the top of the crime. You
- 3:00Speaker 1: gotta form the relationship with God. If you don't, everything
- 3:03Speaker 1: else struggles. It's hard to be a good husband without God.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's hard to be a good family man without God.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's hard to be successful without God. Man, it's hard
- 3:12Speaker 1: to be hard to get through this thing called life
- 3:15Speaker 1: without God. So that's clear. But at the same time,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you can't talk about God twenty four seven. You got
- 3:24Speaker 1: to go to work. Come on, man, let's just be real.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I ain't I ain't your past, and I ain't at
- 3:28Speaker 1: your church. But let's just be real about it. You know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: if people tell you got to keep your mind stayed
- 3:34Speaker 1: on Him and all like that, that's that's a true statement.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You gotta keep your mind stayed in that area. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: don't not here to tell you how to live, but
- 3:40Speaker 1: you got to keep your mind stayed in that area
- 3:42Speaker 1: of God, of doing the right thing, caring about people.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's what I took it as. Now I could be wrong.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I apologize if I'm not saying that the way you've
- 3:50Speaker 1: been taught. I can only do me now. But after that,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you got to go to work. You gotta have some fun.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You gotta take care of your business, and that's the
- 4:01Speaker 1: balance you have to find so it once you focus
- 4:06Speaker 1: on showing up your relationship with God, you got you
- 4:09Speaker 1: gotta balance this now. Now you got to allocate some
- 4:15Speaker 1: time I don't care who you are, for your family.
- 4:18Speaker 1: If you're gonna have a family, you got to allocate
- 4:21Speaker 1: some time for them. See, we can't just marry these
- 4:24Speaker 1: women or make these kids and then neglect them and fellas,
- 4:29Speaker 1: especially if I'm talking to me about him, Ladies, you
- 4:31Speaker 1: can listen to but listen. If you find yourself struggling
- 4:35Speaker 1: in your life, man, and you can't seem to get
- 4:37Speaker 1: it together, let's just go over a couple of things.
- 4:40Speaker 1: The first two things, if you find yourself struggling, you
- 4:43Speaker 1: can't seem to pull it together and reach your goals
- 4:45Speaker 1: and get to where you want to go, Let's just
- 4:48Speaker 1: do a check how is your relationship with God? And
- 4:54Speaker 1: then next how much time are you taking to allocate
- 4:58Speaker 1: for your family? Now, your family don't always live in
- 5:02Speaker 1: your house, but if you made them, they yours and
- 5:06Speaker 1: the responsibility to them is never lessing because you don't
- 5:10Speaker 1: stay that no more. Because you and the girl broke up,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you and the woman don't speak a man that don't
- 5:16Speaker 1: ever release you from the obligation. Feel me when I'm
- 5:19Speaker 1: telling you this now, because I'm not telling you something
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm wondering about. I've had to live through them years.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So two things you can start looking at. If you're
- 5:29Speaker 1: not where you want to be, and you ain't, you
- 5:31Speaker 1: ain't really solid. You can't figure out why you keep
- 5:33Speaker 1: spending your wills. Have you just done a random inventory, man?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Have you just checked on your relationship with God? Have
- 5:39Speaker 1: you checked on the time you spending dedicated towards your family,
- 5:43Speaker 1: your children that you've created. If them two things is
- 5:46Speaker 1: out of saint man, that I can tell you right now,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you can go on and get to explain in yourself
- 5:51Speaker 1: away just like that. A man, how come you ain't
- 5:54Speaker 1: where you want to be? I'm couz man, I really ain't. Well,
- 5:58Speaker 1: if you really ain't, then you really ain't. The third
- 6:01Speaker 1: thing is you got to allocate the necessary time for
- 6:05Speaker 1: your business. You got to handle your business. All of this, man,
- 6:12Speaker 1: is the way it works, and the order the order
- 6:17Speaker 1: is God first, family second. Then you got to handle
- 6:24Speaker 1: all your business but as men, and this is what
- 6:27Speaker 1: we do. If I don't handle my business, I can't
- 6:30Speaker 1: take care of my family. True statement. But if your
- 6:34Speaker 1: business is in front of your family, you out of order. Nah.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's all we're talking about now, ain't it. See that's
- 6:40Speaker 1: that's all we really saying here now, fellas you know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: you know I mean, I mean, come on, man, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: let's let's have a real conversation about being better. You know,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if you have created these children, you got to handle
- 6:51Speaker 1: your business. You may not like the girl no more.
- 6:55Speaker 1: You and the woman might have broken up, y'all might
- 6:56Speaker 1: go your own way, But what that got to do
- 6:58Speaker 1: with the child though? Man out to handle your business.
- 7:01Speaker 1: They got to know who daddy is. That's your obligation, man,
- 7:04Speaker 1: And God ain't letting you off the hook for that.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Try go ahead and try it, and thank you. Gonna
- 7:09Speaker 1: get off the hook with that, because you're not man,
- 7:12Speaker 1: You just not. I'm sorry, man, dog Steve, Why are
- 7:17Speaker 1: you coming like that? Because I did it like that.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I did it, man. I was over here trying to
- 7:23Speaker 1: reshape my life, getting myself up on my feet when
- 7:25Speaker 1: I was a homeless man and trying to come back. Man,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I thought I had to take care of me first
- 7:30Speaker 1: and then so I can neglect it. Care about them kids, man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: That ain't high work, man, God help us knee on
- 7:36Speaker 1: my neck for a long time for that one right there,
- 7:38Speaker 1: until I finally learned the lesson hold up, man, put
- 7:42Speaker 1: these phone calls in, Go spend some time, do something,
- 7:46Speaker 1: And then it started turning around for me. You know,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I can't beat there all the time because I am
- 7:51Speaker 1: out here on the ground in the hustle. But at
- 7:53Speaker 1: the same time, man, some more phone calls, some more letters, somemohaha,
- 7:57Speaker 1: he he's something, Then take care of your business. Man.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You got to work hard to be successful. You know.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Sometimes I don't put that in there. I just live
- 8:08Speaker 1: in and I expect my sons to emulate that. But
- 8:11Speaker 1: I gotta talk to him all the time. How hard
- 8:13Speaker 1: you got to work to be something. It's an all
- 8:17Speaker 1: out of salt on it. Man. If you gotta target
- 8:19Speaker 1: in mind, you gotta go. You gotta wake up every
- 8:21Speaker 1: day trying to get there, and you can't get tired
- 8:24Speaker 1: of it because it's it's it never ends. You're gonna
- 8:30Speaker 1: always be this way. That's how life is designed and
- 8:33Speaker 1: set up. You got to be a hard worker, man.
- 8:36Speaker 1: If you're always looking for some time to chill and man,
- 8:39Speaker 1: I wanta go do what I want to do, you
- 8:41Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. In order to be successful, you
- 8:44Speaker 1: have to do a series of things that you're uncomfortable doing,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and work is the thing that most of us are
- 8:50Speaker 1: uncomfortable doing. It's so much easier to chill, man. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: wish I could kick back with a cigar man all
- 8:57Speaker 1: the time, but I can't, Man, Man, I can't because
- 9:03Speaker 1: I got to work. Then the last piece of the
- 9:09Speaker 1: balance balance piece is you gotta take some time out
- 9:12Speaker 1: to enjoy yourself. But if you ain't where you want
- 9:16Speaker 1: to be, you ain't got a lot of time to
- 9:19Speaker 1: enjoy yourself. Quit thinking, man, that this balance is even.
- 9:24Speaker 1: It's a whole lot of God, a whole lot of family,
- 9:27Speaker 1: a whole lot of business, and a little bit of chilling.
- 9:31Speaker 1: The chilling can't be equal to the family, the business,
- 9:35Speaker 1: or your God. If the chilling is equal to any
- 9:38Speaker 1: of them, you ain't gonna make it. Quit chilling, man,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and go to work like a man. Do what you
- 9:44Speaker 1: post to do. Work on your family, work on your relationship,
- 9:48Speaker 1: work on your God, work on your business. And then
- 9:50Speaker 1: when you chill, you might not chill is long, but
- 9:53Speaker 1: you show gonna chill bigger You're gonna ball bigger baby.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, animal trainers,
- 10:06Speaker 1: circus participants, all of you who have wanted to gather
- 10:11Speaker 1: yourselves and decided for some reason not too. I welcome
- 10:16Speaker 1: everybody to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It is a new day. It is another reason to
- 10:24Speaker 1: give thanks to Almighty God. I have a reason. Every
- 10:29Speaker 1: breath I take is because of him. Man, I'm grateful.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Gratitude affects your attitude, which is in direct correlation with
- 10:39Speaker 1: your altitude. Understand that. Now, get your tunes in order.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry is still off. The
- 10:46Speaker 1: one and only call it for real. Mouth of the South, Mississippi,
- 10:49Speaker 1: Monica Junior, whose government name is killed Space and the
- 10:54Speaker 1: legend that is nephew Tommy Boy. Here for another when Junior,
- 10:58Speaker 1: what's on your mind to day? Man? Let's talk about this. Man.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You've been here six to five years, Ouca, you've seen everything,
- 11:05Speaker 1: sixty five trips around the sun. Yeah. What I don't
- 11:10Speaker 1: understand is how come people at negativity keeps them from
- 11:14Speaker 1: the positive. How can they believe in that so much? Possible.
- 11:19Speaker 1: See what negativity does is it wears you down. Negativity
- 11:24Speaker 1: puts you in a frame of mind. What the average
- 11:27Speaker 1: person doesn't understand is you have absolute control over that.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Because I've said this a thousand times on the show.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Life is ten percent what happens to you. It's ninety
- 11:39Speaker 1: percent what you do about it. See, the ten percent
- 11:43Speaker 1: is only big if you're allowed to be big. It's
- 11:46Speaker 1: called life. It ain't just happening to you, It's happening
- 11:50Speaker 1: to everybody. You ain't the only one that's facing challenges, hardships, trials, tribulations,
- 11:56Speaker 1: ups and downs. You're not the only one. You're not
- 11:59Speaker 1: the only one don't know your father. You're not the
- 12:01Speaker 1: only one that's been sick. You're not the only one
- 12:05Speaker 1: who lost the loved one. You're just not. You're not
- 12:08Speaker 1: the only one that flunked out of school. Sorry. You're
- 12:11Speaker 1: not the only one that felt neglected. You ain't the
- 12:14Speaker 1: only one. Ain't got a man. You ain't the only
- 12:16Speaker 1: one found a girl of your dreams. You're not the
- 12:19Speaker 1: only one. So why are you amplifying the negative when
- 12:25Speaker 1: these things happen all the time. So you have a
- 12:30Speaker 1: choice in how you look at any situation. You can
- 12:34Speaker 1: look at the glass as half full or half empty.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's the same amount of water in the glass. But
- 12:41Speaker 1: one of them thoughts to make you grateful and the
- 12:44Speaker 1: other one makes you despondent. Yeah, thank you Lord for
- 12:48Speaker 1: the water in my glass. My glass is half empty.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's almost gone. It's down. The levels is low. Negativity, man,
- 13:01Speaker 1: And once you allowed that to take root and seed
- 13:05Speaker 1: in your mind, it spreads like a virus. You got
- 13:10Speaker 1: covid in the brain. Many life, Yes, all the time.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I choose optimism. I choose positivity over negativity. I choose God.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I got no problem bigger than my God. So bring
- 13:28Speaker 1: it on. She'll pass. Yes, yes, say round the sun.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's why you spin it off? Back hit this man
- 13:40Speaker 1: in here. You're listening show. Okay, time to start your
- 13:48Speaker 1: morning off with. Run that prank back what you got, nephew,
- 13:51Speaker 1: I got the cake lady, Enough said cake lady. Come on,

- 14:41Speaker 1: for the life of me believe that this is happen.
- 14:43Speaker 1: We in her classroom, all the classmates, and there some
- 14:45Speaker 1: teachers in there. The principle that came down. We've been
- 14:48Speaker 1: to have cake and ice cream for the kids, but
- 14:50Speaker 1: when they open up the cake, it's a man's private
- 14:53Speaker 1: part on the cake. What oh No, sir, No, sir no,
- 14:56Speaker 1: sir no, suthing No. We have never made a mistake

- 15:39Speaker 1: what who is the owner there? Excuse me? I am
- 15:42Speaker 1: the owner. My name is Bob. Now, if you give
- 15:45Speaker 1: me the information, I'll try to make this thing right
- 15:47Speaker 1: because it couldn't have been my company. Are you absolutely sure, sir?
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm positive y'all is the ones that delivered the damn Okay, listen,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I got all these thirteen year old kids in their
- 15:57Speaker 1: chromatized and the teachers and all okay looking at me, crazy, sir,
- 16:05Speaker 1: But I need to calm down just for a minute.

- 16:08Speaker 1: Should have took that private part down. I can understand,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but I don't think it was my company, okay, because
- 16:15Speaker 1: we've never made a mistake like that. Now, we're very
- 16:17Speaker 1: careful with that kind of stuff. Now, sir, hold on
- 16:19Speaker 1: one NTE come here. Do you know anything about a
- 16:22Speaker 1: cake delivery at Hannah Montana? Cake going to middle school today? Y'all?

- 16:34Speaker 1: He's never delivered a cake over there, sir? Are you
- 16:36Speaker 1: sure it was my cousin? Damn show this place, lady,
- 16:40Speaker 1: it's this play your driver line. You know. You know
- 16:43Speaker 1: mistakes can be made, but I can't. You got a
- 16:48Speaker 1: man's private part and in front of a bunch of
- 16:50Speaker 1: thirteen ye old kids out. I can understand. I would
- 16:53Speaker 1: be upset to. I have children too, so I can
- 16:55Speaker 1: understand what you're trying to say. But Sir, what I'm
- 16:57Speaker 1: trying to tell you is this is not my comver

- 17:25Speaker 1: do you understand what has happened at my daughter's school?
- 17:28Speaker 1: And I apologize for it, sir, But I don't believe
- 17:31Speaker 1: that you ordered the cake from my company. Okay. As

- 20:52Speaker 1: we will ask the clo right after this you're listening,
- 21:00Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. In Entertainment News,
- 21:03Speaker 1: still trending this topic right here, Blue Ivy the big
- 21:08Speaker 1: spender at the Wearable Arts gala hosted by her grandmother
- 21:13Speaker 1: Tina Knows Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson, will tell
- 21:17Speaker 1: you all about Blue Ivy and her bidding at the
- 21:20Speaker 1: auction Erica Badu is in the Entertainment News. She's talking
- 21:23Speaker 1: about menopause and Senator teded Crews got booed so hard
- 21:30Speaker 1: at the Yankees versus Astro's game. Yes, everything everything, I
- 21:38Speaker 1: loved it. Yes, we'll talk about all of these stories
- 21:42Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But right now it's
- 21:44Speaker 1: time for ask the clo Here we go Steve val
- 21:47Speaker 1: in Newark. She said, my fiance went to Mexico two
- 21:51Speaker 1: weeks ago for his last trip as a single guy.
- 21:56Speaker 1: He sent to selfie to let me know he made it.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I saw a girl's foot and ankle bracelet in the
- 22:02Speaker 1: picture behind him, he claims. He claims he took the
- 22:07Speaker 1: picture in the lobby, and I'm tripping. Why are men
- 22:12Speaker 1: so defensive when they get caught in a lie? Am
- 22:16Speaker 1: I tripping? He took the picture in the nother mm hmm?
- 22:21Speaker 1: What's the lie? People are so braces all the time.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Why is the ankle and the bracelet in the in
- 22:28Speaker 1: the picture? The foot behind him? So photo bombings? Sitting like? What?
- 22:37Speaker 1: Show me how he did it with her foot there?
- 22:40Speaker 1: I don't know because I don't do stuff like that.
- 22:44Speaker 1: You have your whole face in this picture I have
- 22:49Speaker 1: to take. I don't have fans. Now, maybe maybe she
- 22:53Speaker 1: don't know it. Could it be that her boyfriend is
- 22:58Speaker 1: he in the national Mexican old star down there and
- 23:01Speaker 1: she never knew that's true? That couldn't happen, Yeah, could be.
- 23:08Speaker 1: He could be a huge Mexican caballero star and nobody
- 23:13Speaker 1: never exactly. You know, he could be a Harato damn
- 23:16Speaker 1: or something. You Yeah, y'all know this dude right here
- 23:20Speaker 1: could be down here, he he he could be down there.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Head you can have one of the top taco stands
- 23:27Speaker 1: down black dude, go down there. That's all we know
- 23:31Speaker 1: how to make. Could he be a famous bullfighter? Hell yeah,
- 23:36Speaker 1: a matter though, you know, I don't know how got
- 23:42Speaker 1: in that damn picture. Yeah yeah, I don't think she's true. Well,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you have to learn how to crop, though. He gonna
- 23:47Speaker 1: have to learn how to crop. He's gonna he gonna
- 23:49Speaker 1: have to get some filters. You you're gonna have to
- 23:53Speaker 1: I don't know. Hipping on the complex an utter ankle too.
- 24:01Speaker 1: That has a lot preppy moving on. Roxy in dcscuse
- 24:05Speaker 1: if there's a real dog, ain'tle you flew that in dog? Yeah,
- 24:11Speaker 1: got busted. Huh. You got to look at color that
- 24:17Speaker 1: ain't gole to see that could throw you up. Go ahead,
- 24:21Speaker 1: all right, here we go. Roxy in DC says, I'm
- 24:23Speaker 1: forty five and married. My younger sister cheated on a
- 24:27Speaker 1: great man and she got caught. Now, my husband is
- 24:31Speaker 1: very paranoid whenever I'm out with her her own husband
- 24:35Speaker 1: has forgiven her, But my husband can't. He judges her,
- 24:39Speaker 1: and it's not fair to her husband and children. How
- 24:44Speaker 1: do I get my husband to get over it or
- 24:47Speaker 1: to let it go? What does she mean it's not
- 24:51Speaker 1: fair to your sister's husband or your sister's child. Well,
- 24:57Speaker 1: she's saying family ain't having it. Well, she's saying the husband,
- 25:01Speaker 1: he's forgiving his wife for cheating and the children. So
- 25:05Speaker 1: why is her husband tripping about it? You understand? I mean,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you know, first of all, he knows it. It really
- 25:14Speaker 1: ain't his business. He's paranoid if you hanger with her
- 25:20Speaker 1: because they ain't no telling what y'all doing when y'all out,
- 25:22Speaker 1: it's what he's thinking. So he's insecure. So you're married
- 25:27Speaker 1: to the insecure brother, the insecure man. Your sister got
- 25:31Speaker 1: a man that's a little bit more secure because he
- 25:34Speaker 1: didn't forgave her and moved on. They don't gonna let
- 25:36Speaker 1: that go because he probably had to forgive her because
- 25:39Speaker 1: of what he did. Most dudes can be a bit
- 25:44Speaker 1: more forgiving based on what they've done. So see what
- 25:50Speaker 1: he What your husband don't know is he might have
- 25:54Speaker 1: had it what caused her to cheat? Is a problem.
- 25:58Speaker 1: See that you don't know because most women don't just
- 26:01Speaker 1: go off just to be going off, so that you
- 26:06Speaker 1: have it. Most people, yeah, they don't know the inside story.
- 26:10Speaker 1: So it ain't your business. But dog, what you need
- 26:13Speaker 1: to do is worry about your house, take care of
- 26:14Speaker 1: you family. Don't worry about your sister and her brother.
- 26:18Speaker 1: It ain't your damn business. Could acting like a girl? Man?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Now you're all off in their business. Let's move on.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Fiefee and Gary, She says. My husband and I are
- 26:31Speaker 1: in our late fifties and we love working out. He
- 26:34Speaker 1: goes out to the gym most saturdays alone and then
- 26:38Speaker 1: we go for a walk. This past Saturday, he came
- 26:42Speaker 1: home and couldn't stop talking about seeing his ex and
- 26:45Speaker 1: how great she looks. Would it be too obvious if
- 26:49Speaker 1: I decided to go to the gym with him next week?
- 26:54Speaker 1: Is it gonna be too obvious? It's obvious the thing
- 26:58Speaker 1: to do, because I would be there. Are you going
- 27:03Speaker 1: down and see just how fine she? Yeah? I'm going. Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You know we love to work out, Well she do too,
- 27:09Speaker 1: because his ex is looking real good. Now, maybe she's
- 27:14Speaker 1: loving working out more than you, and you need to
- 27:15Speaker 1: go down there and see what kind of routine she got.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You need to get in that orange theory class with her.
- 27:21Speaker 1: You gotta do something. She's doing something that's got him,
- 27:26Speaker 1: got him straight up confused. See when you in your
- 27:31Speaker 1: fifties and talking about your ex you obviously it's dumb. Yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You if I had that situation, you would never know.
- 27:41Speaker 1: She's that. He's squatting though off definitely doing all that
- 27:46Speaker 1: in front of him. She he didn't spot it up
- 27:49Speaker 1: ain't And I'm gonna tell you really helping out to
- 27:55Speaker 1: see if I huh, I can't see none of my
- 27:58Speaker 1: exes at the jail because man had to casting the
- 28:00Speaker 1: membership because of why why that reminds well, because I'm
- 28:05Speaker 1: I'm I'm not already they don't have I don't have
- 28:10Speaker 1: restraining order like that. What I am on my own
- 28:14Speaker 1: going death thread. I'm actually and you know, highly sought after.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I've been said next time I see you. Oh okay, Yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 1: it's I heard the word old site before it was popular. Yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 1: She had actually said, yeah, go ahead, go ahead. Rashida
- 28:33Speaker 1: and Tupelo says, I'm moving to Atlanta at the first
- 28:35Speaker 1: of the year with my boyfriend. He got a great job,
- 28:37Speaker 1: and I will be teaching art. My mom is excited
- 28:40Speaker 1: for me, but my grandmother says, I'm chasing after a
- 28:43Speaker 1: man and I look desperate. We're not ready for marriage yet,
- 28:47Speaker 1: but I know it's coming. Is my grandma old fashioned
- 28:51Speaker 1: and out of touch? Now, she's absolutely right. You're moving
- 28:54Speaker 1: with a man with no promises. And when he get
- 28:56Speaker 1: to Atlanta, Lord halw welcome to the a Yeah, welcome
- 29:06Speaker 1: to the playoffs. Play all right, thank you. Coming up

- 34:49Speaker 1: and you've nominated it. That is funny to be funny
- 34:55Speaker 1: to me. And so finally let's get this in ladies.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Our girl Erica by dude. It's fifth one years old
- 35:01Speaker 1: and she recently posted on Emma on Instagram. She did
- 35:05Speaker 1: a shout out to women in menopause and taking care
- 35:07Speaker 1: of their body and nutrients and mind, body and soul.
- 35:12Speaker 1: You know, Erica, Erica can really get deep. But she
- 35:17Speaker 1: says she missed having babies, but she's happy to be
- 35:20Speaker 1: at the age where she can share her wisdom and knowledge.
- 35:24Speaker 1: And she went on to say it's hot having hot
- 35:29Speaker 1: flashes and mood swings. Yep, yep. So Erica's a lot
- 35:33Speaker 1: of women out there. We're feeling you. But you're looking good.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You are aging very well. We love us some Erica
- 35:38Speaker 1: by dude. Yeah, we do all right. When we come
- 35:42Speaker 1: back twenty minutes after the hour, we are pushing it.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Voting talk right after this. You're listening to SEW. Early
- 35:51Speaker 1: voting has started in Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee
- 35:58Speaker 1: and Nevada. The mid term elections are very important. Four
- 36:02Speaker 1: hundred and thirty five House seats, thirty five of the
- 36:05Speaker 1: one hundred Senate seats are on the ballot. Thirty six
- 36:09Speaker 1: out of fifty states will elect governors. Right now, Florida
- 36:15Speaker 1: is leading the country in early voting with more than
- 36:18Speaker 1: one point two million Florida voters. They have already casted
- 36:23Speaker 1: their mid term election ballot. Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama,
- 36:29Speaker 1: Actress Kerry Washington, and Oprah are all campaigning in Georgia
- 36:34Speaker 1: for Stacy Abrams, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams. We have
- 36:42Speaker 1: to get out and vote, and we are campaigning for
- 36:45Speaker 1: her also on the show. Absolutely we are. We are
- 36:50Speaker 1: also campaigning and I don't know all the names if
- 36:54Speaker 1: every governor senatorial race across this country in these media terms,
- 37:00Speaker 1: everybody that hears our voice, voting is critical. We've got
- 37:03Speaker 1: to get to these polls. This is an important election.
- 37:07Speaker 1: It is time to stop allowing the minority to control
- 37:12Speaker 1: the majority. That's what's an amazing thing. Man. I don't
- 37:16Speaker 1: know if y'all paying close attention to this, but they've
- 37:21Speaker 1: always that party has always tried to control the minds,
- 37:26Speaker 1: the lives, the thoughts of other people, and we, of
- 37:31Speaker 1: all people, should understand full well what has been done
- 37:35Speaker 1: in terms of control. I mean, look, man, they've had
- 37:40Speaker 1: us under the thumb since we got here against our will.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Nobody got on the slave ship thinking they were going
- 37:48Speaker 1: somewhere wonderful. Nobody came over in luxury cabins. No, sir, no,
- 37:56Speaker 1: sir no. So we came here against our will. Now,
- 37:59Speaker 1: for those of you to think this is the greatest country,
- 38:02Speaker 1: this is a great country. This country has a lot
- 38:05Speaker 1: of great attributes to it. I've been afforded an incredible
- 38:09Speaker 1: lifestyle here. We ain't talking about that. We're talking about
- 38:13Speaker 1: the forgotten ones. We're talking about how hard it is
- 38:17Speaker 1: to get to where you want to go because of
- 38:20Speaker 1: the color you is. Now, if y'all don't understand that,
- 38:25Speaker 1: then just go ahead and review your life. How difficult
- 38:29Speaker 1: has it been for you to climb the corporate letter
- 38:32Speaker 1: to get the job you've always wanted to get, the
- 38:34Speaker 1: pay you've always wanted to get, the voting rights you've
- 38:37Speaker 1: always wanted, the education you've always wanted. How would it
- 38:41Speaker 1: feel for you to lose the fear of your children
- 38:43Speaker 1: walking down the street, wondering if they're gonna come home.
- 38:47Speaker 1: How do you talk to your sons and daughters about
- 38:49Speaker 1: being pulled over by the police. It's time to stop
- 38:52Speaker 1: some of this stuff, man. It's time we have to vote.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Go to when we all vote dot org. Check your registration,
- 39:00Speaker 1: check your your rights, check your polling place, make sure
- 39:04Speaker 1: you are ready to vote, vote early and voting. Now
- 39:08Speaker 1: that's it. You heard it coming out. We will check
- 39:11Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 39:35Speaker 1: teenage girl who stole money when we were talking with
- 39:37Speaker 1: sister Odell from the grandmother and passed it out at school.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Where Robert has a comment or he loved a message
- 39:44Speaker 1: about that. Hey, Steve Harvey, Robert calling. I just want
- 39:47Speaker 1: to let you know that my granddaughter went in my
- 39:50Speaker 1: desk and took a hundred dollars bills, went to school
- 39:53Speaker 1: and passed them out to the kids. We were able
- 39:55Speaker 1: to get most of it back, but some of the
- 39:57Speaker 1: kids didn't say they had it. Point, let you know
- 40:00Speaker 1: that happened up to take care. You ain't getting it back. Now.
- 40:05Speaker 1: If my son get that hunter, you ain't getting it back.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I see we all talking about this hunt that didn't
- 40:10Speaker 1: get that. They didn't get it back. The story is
- 40:14Speaker 1: what happened to the granddaughter. Now, obviously he was looking
- 40:19Speaker 1: at this a little bit different Roberts kind of thinking
- 40:21Speaker 1: it's cute and funny. We got all of it back,
- 40:23Speaker 1: some kids say they didn't. Yeah, thanks for calling man.
- 40:27Speaker 1: That hain't the story helped looking for up? What's the
- 40:30Speaker 1: story you're looking for? I need somebody to call in
- 40:32Speaker 1: and tell the story about what happened to the grand
- 40:34Speaker 1: baby that took the hundreds to the story. Yeah, I
- 40:39Speaker 1: know I'm going on there and trying to get it back,
- 40:40Speaker 1: but I'm talking about that. Well is the deeper story.
- 40:43Speaker 1: It's what happened to the baby that took the money
- 40:46Speaker 1: and passed it out. You know, like we uni self
- 40:48Speaker 1: for something up in here. So what would have happened
- 40:52Speaker 1: if you were here and someone gave you to your
- 40:55Speaker 1: dollars at school. Yeah. If I took my daddy's money
- 40:59Speaker 1: to school, either way, you took it. If I took
- 41:02Speaker 1: Slick Harvey's money, he wouldn't be here. First of all,
- 41:08Speaker 1: he is no Steve Harvey sh man. That's unthinkable. It is.
- 41:18Speaker 1: It's just it's nothing in me that could do that.
- 41:21Speaker 1: It's the fear. Yeah, to steal off getting caught. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 1: what's out that? Now? Go ahead, next question. You just
- 41:30Speaker 1: messed my morning though. Oh Junior there, all right. This caller,
- 41:34Speaker 1: his name is Daryl. He left the message about voting,
- 41:37Speaker 1: because that's what we've been talking about a lot, is voting.
- 41:40Speaker 1: So let's check out Darrel's message. I see, this is Darryl.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I just wanted to point something out to you. How
- 41:46Speaker 1: I was actually in the McDonald parking lot Saturday and
- 41:50Speaker 1: heard you on the radio encouraging us to go out
- 41:52Speaker 1: from vote, and you said that when the last time
- 41:56Speaker 1: one of us took a pole never ifty three years old.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I've never been polled, so I don't like you. I
- 42:02Speaker 1: don't know where they're getting these results. I've never known,
- 42:05Speaker 1: not one black person that has participated in the poll.
- 42:10Speaker 1: But I've been telling people this for a while now. Man,
- 42:13Speaker 1: Back in the twenties, Republicans used to sit on the
- 42:15Speaker 1: television black people really decide to pose white people are
- 42:19Speaker 1: divided fifty to fifty. We took the scale. We took
- 42:22Speaker 1: the scale. Say one more thing, because this is something
- 42:25Speaker 1: that's not said. I said. I've been telling everybody that
- 42:29Speaker 1: if black people were to lose their rights in this country,
- 42:33Speaker 1: which we would never sit back and allow that to happen,
- 42:36Speaker 1: but if we did, the next group of people to
- 42:38Speaker 1: lose their rights would be white women. And I'd love
- 42:42Speaker 1: to expand on that, but I know you Busin, I'm
- 42:44Speaker 1: not gonna. I love listening to you. Man, You're all
- 42:47Speaker 1: we have. I hear Bill does things, but man, you
- 42:53Speaker 1: mean you're all we have. Man, You're my inspiration, keep
- 42:56Speaker 1: us all being. It's just so many things I like
- 42:59Speaker 1: to Paytriomona. Oh they're nice. Look man, we we just
- 43:05Speaker 1: got to vote. We just got to vote for so
- 43:08Speaker 1: many reasons. Man, We've already proven the last election that
- 43:12Speaker 1: we are the tipping factor. We are the ones who
- 43:15Speaker 1: make a call. The reason we don't get polled is
- 43:18Speaker 1: because there's no need to poll us, because they take
- 43:21Speaker 1: poles and disperse the information to fit what they need
- 43:24Speaker 1: to fit. They create a narrative with the polls, so
- 43:29Speaker 1: they don't ask us about what the polls are because
- 43:32Speaker 1: they don't know where we are. First of all, they
- 43:34Speaker 1: ain't coming into your neighborhood to pole you. No posters
- 43:37Speaker 1: coming through the hoods on who y'all voting for. They
- 43:40Speaker 1: assumed X two percent won't vote, and they assume that
- 43:46Speaker 1: a certain percentage will vote a certain way. But they
- 43:50Speaker 1: really don't know that if we make up our minds
- 43:52Speaker 1: and come out in numbers, that we can turn any
- 43:55Speaker 1: election around. I gotta feel fit to show them something
- 43:59Speaker 1: this ship. Yes, we don't know anybody that's been pulled ever. Ever,
- 44:04Speaker 1: that's coming up the nephew he has a Today's prink
- 44:10Speaker 1: phone call right after this You're listening show coming up
- 44:17Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 44:19Speaker 1: after Shirley Strawberry. She left us a Strawberry letter, and
- 44:23Speaker 1: the subject for today is she gave him exactly what
- 44:28Speaker 1: he wanted. She gave him exactly what he wanted. But
- 44:32Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here with today's prink phone call.
- 44:37Speaker 1: What you guy, We're gonna head on down to the
- 44:40Speaker 1: church call him okay, so we're gonna go this morning.
- 44:43Speaker 1: We're gonna head on down to the church. This right
- 44:45Speaker 1: here is make a wish minister. Made a whish minist
- 44:54Speaker 1: What make a whish minish? What got up? I'm not
- 45:02Speaker 1: gonna do this with y'all today, make a whish ministract.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I'm doing very well with my deputs. I'm tell y'all, okay,
- 45:15Speaker 1: all right now, well, well, well, well where where, whether
- 45:20Speaker 1: the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot,
- 45:25Speaker 1: whatever the weather, qu in this together, whether we like
- 45:31Speaker 1: it or not. YEA, thank you for that. One day
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'll tell y'all when I went out with Wander Williams
- 45:41Speaker 1: and I met the whole Quilliams family. Thank you, man,
- 45:48Speaker 1: I appreciate. Make a whish minister. Let's go catch doctor Baptist.
- 45:55Speaker 1: This is Terrence Man. Help you please, Brother Terence. Yeah,
- 45:59Speaker 1: how are you doing? And I got your your number?
- 46:02Speaker 1: You went the over the church. You went to make
- 46:04Speaker 1: a witch ministry. Yes, I am, I'm gonna help him.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Well listen, I'm I'm I'm actually uh, I'm I'm terminally ill. Brothers,
- 46:14Speaker 1: Brother Terrence, and I don't you know as far as
- 46:18Speaker 1: what the doctors tell me, it could be six months
- 46:21Speaker 1: or another year, but I know my time here is
- 46:27Speaker 1: definitely limited. You know. Well, I'm sorry to hear that,
- 46:30Speaker 1: but we're definitely here to help you out with whatever
- 46:33Speaker 1: you need or whatever we can help you with. So
- 46:35Speaker 1: what can we do for you? Well, you know, I
- 46:38Speaker 1: truly believe that sometimes people have and you know, I've
- 46:42Speaker 1: seen one of the old movies they got with it
- 46:44Speaker 1: got a bucket list or whatever they called it. You know,
- 46:46Speaker 1: people trying to do things before they leave here. I
- 46:49Speaker 1: guess I'm just sitting around trying to figure out what
- 46:51Speaker 1: I could do and what I wanted to do before
- 46:54Speaker 1: I left this world and went on to what he
- 46:57Speaker 1: has for me. Nixt. You know, I I don't believe
- 47:00Speaker 1: in doing anything unless it's prayed on first. Oh yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 1: if you don't mind, maybe you can. You know, before
- 47:09Speaker 1: I can tell you my wish, we prayed that the
- 47:11Speaker 1: wishould come true. You you you're not doing anything like that.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Oh no, I don't mind praying. That's what we're here for.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Bow your head with him, yes, yes, yr, sir, is
- 47:21Speaker 1: your head by your sir, Your sir. Here the God
- 47:24Speaker 1: We come to you in the armless way. We know
- 47:27Speaker 1: how Lord we ask you to touch this young man
- 47:31Speaker 1: and every which way he hurt, and then we ask
- 47:34Speaker 1: you to deliver him for whatever is going on with
- 47:37Speaker 1: him and let him know that we the church is
- 47:39Speaker 1: here to help him with whatever his needs is in
- 47:43Speaker 1: his last days. And Jesus's name, I pray say Amen
- 47:46Speaker 1: with him. It's gonna do it here. Now you a
- 47:52Speaker 1: member of the church here, I'm new, well, I was
- 47:56Speaker 1: a number. I still consider myself a member. It's just
- 47:59Speaker 1: been quite sometimes probably over the year and after two years,
- 48:02Speaker 1: as I've been able to come, you know, through to
- 48:04Speaker 1: my my illness. But definitely I will remember that. Well,
- 48:09Speaker 1: that's all right. We're not worried about all that. We
- 48:11Speaker 1: just here to take care of your last and final wish.
- 48:15Speaker 1: That's what our minister is for. You know. We helped
- 48:18Speaker 1: people with with with anything they need, you know, like that.
- 48:22Speaker 1: What what all I mean when when people call them
- 48:25Speaker 1: won't say what all of you you are? What all
- 48:27Speaker 1: of y'all helped them with? Well we've helped them with
- 48:30Speaker 1: the rent, uh, take them to the store, help them
- 48:36Speaker 1: with a utility bill, come out and cut the grass,
- 48:39Speaker 1: anything like that they just can't do. Take them to
- 48:41Speaker 1: the doctor's appointment. Anything we'd like to help them with,
- 48:45Speaker 1: we do exactly. Then Okay, well I pretty much got
- 48:49Speaker 1: those things taken care of. I think what I'd like
- 48:52Speaker 1: to do between you and myself, brothers town, that I've
- 48:56Speaker 1: never told anyone what I'm about to tell you. I've
- 49:01Speaker 1: never been with a with with a woman too. Huh.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I'm you know, I'm thirty eight, but I've never been
- 49:10Speaker 1: with a woman. Well, I guess that might be a blessing.
- 49:13Speaker 1: You might you might be here. That's a good thing. Well,
- 49:16Speaker 1: you know, but sometimes you know I give before I leave.
- 49:19Speaker 1: I guess that's a desire that I have. And and
- 49:22Speaker 1: and uh, what I wanted to ask you was there
- 49:26Speaker 1: is a lady there at the church, and before I leave,
- 49:31Speaker 1: I think that's the woman that I would actually like
- 49:34Speaker 1: to be with. Well, I don't know if Make a
- 49:38Speaker 1: Wish ministry can support that kind of stuff, but uh,
- 49:41Speaker 1: go ahead, let me hear. Okay, the lady that I'm
- 49:45Speaker 1: actually interested in actually, uh, she works at the church too.
- 49:51Speaker 1: When I see she's donim a tall when she's about
- 49:53Speaker 1: five nine, and she's probably about a size eight, beautiful
- 49:59Speaker 1: long league and and and and sandy type of half
- 50:03Speaker 1: sandy color for Sandy brown man, and I mean she
- 50:06Speaker 1: looked like caramel. Hold on a minute, what's her name?
- 50:12Speaker 1: I think her name Linda? Now hold on, that's my wife?
- 50:16Speaker 1: What you mean go ahead and see? Wait wait wait wait,
- 50:19Speaker 1: wait wait wait Linda your wife? Yeah, that's my wife?
- 50:22Speaker 1: You Sorrence? What do you mean? Listen? Y'all are a
- 50:26Speaker 1: ministry now now, if y'all supposed to be taking care
- 50:29Speaker 1: of people, don't make a wish and and taking care
- 50:32Speaker 1: of what they want before they leave this world? If
- 50:34Speaker 1: that's my wish, what is the problem listening here? You
- 50:37Speaker 1: didn't cross every line there was about this man, so
- 50:40Speaker 1: I don't give a damn about it. I'm you're talking
- 50:42Speaker 1: about sleeping with my w If I see y'all gonna
- 50:45Speaker 1: do something to you, they ain't gonna even be able
- 50:47Speaker 1: to recognize you. So what the you talking about? Missing
- 50:50Speaker 1: with my wife? Son of am? I called miss Linda
- 50:53Speaker 1: myself and seeing you know I have a problem. Wasn't
- 50:55Speaker 1: helping me make my wish come true? Go right head
- 50:58Speaker 1: and calling you won't call nobody else. That would be
- 51:01Speaker 1: the last called you make. I thought y'all were here
- 51:05Speaker 1: to relieve people so they can enjoy themselves before they
- 51:09Speaker 1: leave this world. You talk about sleeping with my wife?
- 51:12Speaker 1: Are you crazy? But but if I'm going to leave here,
- 51:15Speaker 1: ain't nobody gonna know? But you want hunt I don't
- 51:18Speaker 1: care if you die. I don't care. You ain't sleeping
- 51:21Speaker 1: with my wife and your food with her. You probably
- 51:23Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and die quicker than you need to.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I thought this was a ministry. I don't tell you
- 51:29Speaker 1: now you o't. They're telling me about daring y'all supposed
- 51:32Speaker 1: to be a ministry that to help people before they
- 51:34Speaker 1: leave a word what it is. But you talk about
- 51:36Speaker 1: sleeping with my wife. You got an illness, but something
- 51:39Speaker 1: must be wrong with your rain talking about missing with
- 51:42Speaker 1: man wife? Ain't nobody don't even know? I've think what
- 51:44Speaker 1: your wife wants? Something gonna there. Ain't gonna beople the
- 51:46Speaker 1: tool y'all. At least you would have helped me before.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I No, I can't help you with nothing. And let
- 51:51Speaker 1: me tell you something. I'm not the preacher, I'm not
- 51:53Speaker 1: the pastor, I'm not the deacon, I'm not none of them.
- 51:56Speaker 1: But if you mentioned my wife, you're gonna know who
- 51:58Speaker 1: I am. I'm gonna be the under take or did
- 52:00Speaker 1: you understand? I hear what you saying. But I got
- 52:02Speaker 1: one more thing I need to tell you about who
- 52:05Speaker 1: I ain't who asked you? Isn't it the go ahead?
- 52:08Speaker 1: Let me? This is Nephew tugh me from the Steve
- 52:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Your wife Linda got me the phrase no, y'all,
- 52:17Speaker 1: ain't tell me. You ain't even recording. This is man's recorded,
- 52:27Speaker 1: every last bit of hammer last ain't gonna hear this
- 52:32Speaker 1: is Oh god, I got one more thing. What is

- 53:58Speaker 1: That's right. Buckle up, hold on tight, we got here.
- 54:00Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry LETTA subjects. She gave him exactly
- 54:04Speaker 1: what he wanted. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been with my
- 54:08Speaker 1: boyfriend for eleven years and he's eleven years younger than
- 54:12Speaker 1: I am. When we met, I had two children from
- 54:15Speaker 1: a previous marriage, and he said he always wanted to
- 54:18Speaker 1: have his own child with me. Well, we never got
- 54:20Speaker 1: around to having children together, and now I can't have kids.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I suspected that women his age would eventually get his attention,
- 54:28Speaker 1: but I never expected him to cheat on me. Multiple
- 54:31Speaker 1: times I caught him texting and calling a female. So
- 54:35Speaker 1: when he lied, I call a young woman to talk
- 54:38Speaker 1: to her. She told me that she has a newborn
- 54:41Speaker 1: baby only four days old and it's my boyfriend's child.
- 54:45Speaker 1: My boyfriend admitted to having sex with her, but said
- 54:49Speaker 1: he wanted a paternity test as soon as she and
- 54:51Speaker 1: the baby could take one. Well, we found out that
- 54:55Speaker 1: it is his baby, and now I have to figure
- 54:57Speaker 1: out how to make this child part of our family.
- 55:00Speaker 1: My boyfriend is overjoyed that he has a son. Finally,
- 55:04Speaker 1: I'm jealous for two reasons. First because he cheated and
- 55:08Speaker 1: the woman is beautiful and has her own business, and
- 55:11Speaker 1: she's been nothing but respectful to me because she didn't
- 55:14Speaker 1: know about me. I'm also jealous because he has a son,
- 55:17Speaker 1: and I know that this bond with the baby may
- 55:19Speaker 1: be stronger than what we have. I did not feel
- 55:22Speaker 1: good in the beginning about dating a much younger man,
- 55:25Speaker 1: but I could not help who I fell in love with.
- 55:28Speaker 1: My boyfriend keeps trying to reassure me that the baby
- 55:32Speaker 1: doesn't change how he feels about me. He has asked
- 55:35Speaker 1: me to marry him, and I told him yes, but
- 55:37Speaker 1: I feel like i'd be in the way of a
- 55:39Speaker 1: great life he could have with the baby and the
- 55:41Speaker 1: baby's mom. I feel like the best thing would be
- 55:44Speaker 1: to let him go, but at times I want to
- 55:46Speaker 1: be selfish and keep him for myself? What should I do? Wow? Now, yeah, now,
- 55:52Speaker 1: didn't you just say that he cheated on you, not one,
- 55:56Speaker 1: not two, but multiple times? And he has a baby
- 56:00Speaker 1: with another woman, a baby that now you can't give
- 56:04Speaker 1: him the whole paternity test thing. That was a joke.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I mean, he knew that baby was his all along.
- 56:12Speaker 1: He knew it. He wanted to wait until the baby
- 56:15Speaker 1: and the mama could take it. Yeah, he already knew.
- 56:19Speaker 1: And please do not make excuses for him. This has
- 56:22Speaker 1: nothing to do with your eleven year age difference. Don't
- 56:25Speaker 1: don't do that to yourself because you've been with him
- 56:28Speaker 1: for eleven years. This is just a no good, cheating
- 56:31Speaker 1: guy you have on your hands. I mean, after eleven years,
- 56:34Speaker 1: he's just now asking you to marry him. Get out
- 56:38Speaker 1: of here with that one? Why now? Could it be
- 56:42Speaker 1: because he cheated and got caught. Now there's a baby
- 56:44Speaker 1: involved in all of that, and you said that you've
- 56:47Speaker 1: got to figure out how to make the baby a
- 56:49Speaker 1: part of your family. That is really sweet of you.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I mean, you know you're a good woman here. I
- 56:55Speaker 1: just you know, I think you're better off without him.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Okay to think that, I don't think you should wait
- 57:02Speaker 1: for him to let you go, like you said in
- 57:04Speaker 1: the letter. I think you should let him go and
- 57:06Speaker 1: move on with your life. I think you can do
- 57:09Speaker 1: way better. That's what I think. This guy's no good.
- 57:12Speaker 1: He's a cheater and he's done it multiple times. Leave him, Steve.
- 57:17Speaker 1: I see a very delusional letter here. The subject. She
- 57:22Speaker 1: gave him exactly what he wanted. You've been with your
- 57:25Speaker 1: boyfriend for eleven years. Who is somebody? Boyfriend and girlfriend
- 57:33Speaker 1: for eleven years, and he's eleven years younger than I am.
- 57:39Speaker 1: What when we met? I had two children from previous man.
- 57:45Speaker 1: He said they always wanted to have his own child
- 57:47Speaker 1: with me. He said that, well, you had eleven years
- 57:51Speaker 1: to work it out, but you never got around to
- 57:53Speaker 1: having kids together, and now you can't have kids. So
- 57:59Speaker 1: let's say I don't know you forty five, maybe he
- 58:06Speaker 1: thirty six. I'm thinking somewhere in there or fifty and then'
- 58:15Speaker 1: and I'm thinking, and I suspected, and now he would
- 58:20Speaker 1: listen to me. We never got around to having children together.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Y'all never got around to getting married together. Y'all never
- 58:28Speaker 1: got around to defineing y'all's relationship Now you can't have kids,
- 58:34Speaker 1: and I suspected that women his age would eventually get
- 58:37Speaker 1: his attention. Well, the law of attraction works, and that's
- 58:42Speaker 1: what it happened. But I never expected him to cheat
- 58:45Speaker 1: on me multiple times. One was cool, but you didn't
- 58:51Speaker 1: expect a lot of times. Then you called him texting
- 58:54Speaker 1: and calling the female. So when he lied, you called
- 58:58Speaker 1: the young woman to talk to her. Now you keep
- 59:01Speaker 1: calling all these women young and all this help. She
- 59:04Speaker 1: told me she has a newborn baby only four days old,
- 59:09Speaker 1: and it's your boyfriend's child. Then the dude told you
- 59:12Speaker 1: he's having sex with him, but said he wanted to
- 59:15Speaker 1: paternity tests as soon as she and the baby could
- 59:17Speaker 1: take one, as soon as her and the baby. You
- 59:22Speaker 1: just need one person now, he don't need both of them.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Got to greet it this. What can the baby say?
- 59:31Speaker 1: All right? I mean really you know? Four days old? Yeah?
- 59:39Speaker 1: Stop that shut up? Just cotton in your mouth, pee
- 59:44Speaker 1: on this stick. Boy? Where we found out that it's
- 59:49Speaker 1: his baby and this line just came out of nowhere,
- 59:54Speaker 1: And now I have to figure out how to make
- 59:56Speaker 1: this child part of our family. What family, lady, what
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: family are you talking about? You ain't got no family.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: That ain't your husband, ye, No, I got to figure
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: out how to make this child part of our family.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I come back our ge the rest? All right? Part
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: after the hour Today's Strawberry Letters subject. She gave him
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: exactly what he wanted. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject. She gave him exactly
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: what he wanted. This lady got this boyfriend. They've been
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: dating for eleven years. He eleven years younger than she is.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: She got two kids from previous marriage, but he told
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: her you always want to have a child with her.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: They never got around to having children together because they
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: ain't really had no relationship. And now she two old
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: had kids. And I suspected that women his age will
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: eventually get his attention. That ain't that They had his
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: attention back when you first got married though now all
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: ain't married, Dayton. But I never expected him cheat on
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: me multiple times, you know, one or two times maybe,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: but not all the damn times. And then I called
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: him texting and calling this girl. So when he lied
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: and said, now I ain't talking to him. You call
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a young woman, talked to her. She told me she
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: got a newborn baby four days old, and it's your
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: boyfriend's baby. Then your boyfriend turned around and said, yeah,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I had sex with him, but I want a paternity
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: test as soon as the she and the baby can
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: take one. No, no, dog, listen to me. You don't
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the paternity testers with the baby. You don't see one
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: thing about you know it's her baby. We all know
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: that it's her baby. It's her, your your girlfriend, your
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: old ass girlfriend that you live with all huh and
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: got the number from your phone. It's huh. We don't
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: need a paternity test for her. It's the baby. See,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: everybody know her. She the one told everybody that the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: baby was yours. So now you got the paternity test.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: It's your damn baby now, the lady said, once we
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: find out that it's his baby, now I got to
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: figure out how to make this child a part of
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: our family. What family are you talking about? You don't
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: have a family. Your family is them two kids. This
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: dude that's the eleven years younger than you, he creating
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: another family somewhere else. Now, that's gonna mess your children
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: up when they don't seem no more. But you gotta
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: tell him he got another family somewhere. Now, your boyfriend
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: is overjoyed that he finally has a son. And I'm
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: jealous for two reasons. First cause he cheated, Okay, so
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you just jealous about that. And the woman is beautiful
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: and has her own business, and she has been nothing
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: but respectful to me because she didn't know about me,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: So he don't lie to everybody. Do y'all live together?
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Do you get that in this letter that they live together,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: her and the boyfriend. Yeah, I think they do live
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: together because she's been with him for eleven years. Yeah,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I don't really mean they live. It doesn't mean that
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: because she ain't know nothing about this woman. So how
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you living that call and talking where they where they're going?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: So now now I'm jealous caused the son, and I
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: know that this bond with the baby, he's stronger than
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: what we have. You keep talking about what y'all got?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Yes, the baby's bond is
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: gonna be stronger than the one you got. He learned
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: a baby. Now he overjoyed. He ain't overjoyed what you
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: know more. See, let's just keep it real. This bond
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you keep creating, this bond. I do not feel good
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: in the beginning about dating. I didn't feel good in
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: beginning about dating a much younger man. Well you said that,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: but I could not help who I fell in love with.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I understand that my boyfriend keeps trying to reassure me
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that the baby doesn't change how he feels about me.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: See that's true, that he making a true statement. I
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: want you to hear to me. Now, the baby doesn't
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: change how he feels about you. But now, how does
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: he feel about you? Because he didn't cheated on your
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: multiple times. He ain't asked you to marry him, easy,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: eleven years younger, and he got another family somewhere. Hell not.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: The baby ain't gonna change how he feel about you.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: What do he feel about you? What's in this for you? Sister?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: He has asked me to marry him, and I told
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: him yes. But I feel like I be in the way. Lady, lady, lady.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: This little dude just trying to hang on to everything.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: He's overjoyed with his son, the chick, fine beautiful guy
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: of business. He didn't ask you to marry him and
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you told him yes, you got the ring or did
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: he just ask you? Because see, he ain't got the
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: money for the ring, your two babies and this new baby.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: But I feel like I'd be in the way of
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: a great life he could have with the baby and
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the baby's mom, because in your harder hearts, you know
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: that's where his head is at. True, I feel like
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: the best thing would be to let him go. Me too, Shirley,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: do too. But at times I want to be selfish
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: and keep him for yourself. You've never had him for yourself, See, sister,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: he'd been with a lot of other people. This is
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: the one that got pregnant. Ye See, I want to
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: be selfish to keep him for myself. You've had e
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: loving years to have him to yourself and they ain't
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: had him to yourself yet. He's not yours and he
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: don't want to be yours. So system, pull yourself together.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Stop creating a relationship that ain't there. Quit talking about
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: this bond that this man going to be with that family.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: You take your time, move on with your life and
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: get you somebody. Get a grown ass man that ain't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: looking to have no more kids. Post your comments on

- 1:09:55Speaker 1: we're coming back back at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: More of the same st you're listening to. Chat on Facebook, writes,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I played a prank on my wife to make a point,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: and now it's backfired in my face. There have been
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: reports of cars broken into and even stolen in my
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: neighborhood recently. My wife, bless her heart, has a horrible
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: habit of leaving the keys in the car because we
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: have that push start you know, ignition button, or she's
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: leaving the car unlocked and we don't have a garage anyway.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Last night, while she was in the shower, I moved
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: the car a couple of blocks away and just waited
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: for her to notice. Finally she did. She tripped out,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and I told her what I had done just as
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: she was getting ready to call the police. Now I
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: know I was pranking her. I know I'm wrong for that,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: but she's missing the actual point. So question, did I
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: really mess up? Or was this valid? Like I think
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: it was. Either way, she's still not talking to me.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Well let me say something, Chad. This is what happens
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: when you don't prank and when you're not a pranker.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: We had a King of pranks on this show. Why
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: your ass pranking when what you should have done was
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: called Tommy Tommy? But who knew you? See the reason
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Frank's work for Tommy is because Tommy prank people he
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: don't know. See, you brank the person you're sleeping with,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you stupid, not a pranking backfire. She mad at you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: because she upset. Well, no, dog, you proved your point.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: But probably what you should have did. Man, you should
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: have played all the way out. Yeah that all you
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: should see? Nothing how so? So just what the car
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: magically appears the next day? I mean they're gonna find it?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: He could do that found it? Yeah, we found out car.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: We just drove around neighborhood and found it. Yeah, but
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: don't say you the one moved it. Yeah, we found
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: out that it's called Ashbury. We were looking forward that
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: night we found it. What happened to do? The star
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: stole and parked it right in front of his house
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: and Tier Wow, the tier Market and take the beach.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Excuse me, junior, what are you writing down? I'm writing down?
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Don't prank your wife? I I got you shouldn't have
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: that shouldn't have been something you got to write down.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I know, something stupid like that. I would. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: let him write this down, y'all. Yeah, okay, you got
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: you got down every day those well you know you
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: got to. You gotta let people train, they say of
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: how they train theirself. I got to write it. See
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I didn't write stuff down. I just allowed scars to
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: scam on. If I moved jacket car, I promise you,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I'm out there looking for that car with her. She's
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: not gonna know I moved that damn. So you were riding, well,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: the King of Pranks, you were riding the way. I'm
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: out there looking forward with a flash and then call
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: anonymously on nine one one and say, hey, there's a
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: car that looks from million looks like something wrong. It's
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: right in the parking lot of the Walmart. I'd have
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: stole the car and then reported the car and found
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: that's how you prank bad at Hull. They off working
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: here trying to find your damn Carn't I told you
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: quick leave the keys in the car. Leader, How can
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: he fix it? Because she's not talking in His wife
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: is not talking to him. This is Chad on Facebook. Yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: he just got. You got to you got to get
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: a humble and go ask for forgiveness. You made a
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: big mistake. But yeah, yeah you got huh. Yeah, you
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: got to buy something like what Steve telling package you
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: got to do. Ah, I'm so sorry. Gift necklace, little
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Tiffany box. Oh nice, Yeah you got you gotta show
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: him a clown food. You're stupid. You're very stupid. Sad
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: online pranking class in twenty twenty three so you can
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: learn how to plant. Yeah, you need to do that. Nephew,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: you need to do that. All right, guys, thank you
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: for that. Coming up, we're gonna have more trending stories
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour. You're listening too. Sometimes
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the best thing for mourners grieving the loss of a
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: loved one is a good laugh. So one hilarious grandma,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: known and loved for her sense and humor recently provided
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: the laughter at her own funeral. Before she passed, she
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: arranged for some gifts for those in attendance. Everyone who
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: showed up to her funeral was given an envelope. Inside
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: was a picture of Grandma holding up her middle fingers
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: and a small Weuiji board with the words let's keep
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: in touch. Her granddaughter tweeted a photo of the item
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: and wrote, what an icon. So the question is for
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: you guys, quickly, what kind of gift would you give
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: a gift out at your funeral? And what kind of
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: gift would you give out guys? M Oh, okay, come on,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: this is quick. Quickly a picture of my butt, so
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: everybody kids my behind about it? Oh yeah, alright, nephew,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: what about Steve. Yeah, I'm gonna pass out tiving envelopes.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Everybody knew. Men inside of it, it's gonna be a
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: quarter tithing envelope. They think they're getting some money, and
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: then I'm gonna say, yeah, I know you always expecting something.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: So I didn't want to let your damn get a
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: quarter out at your funeral expecting something. So I didn't
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: want to let nobody damn quarter for everybody. Dan, all right,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: coming up, we're gonna play another round of would you rather?
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show time out for
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: would you rather? Would you rather walk through a graveyard
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: at midnight or spend a night in an abandoned house
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Halloween next week? Hey, non no, no, I'm going in
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: that house. I'm moving, I'll keep walking. I'm gonna get
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: out there. I'm gonna get out the graveyard. I'm gonna
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: be basically gonna get out of there the house. Ain't
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: nobody in this abandoned house. I'm gonna stay in there
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: to the next morning, but I'm not gonna walking through
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: the cemetery. That's me. He. It depends on where the
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: abandoned houses in. What difference does that make? If it's
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: in the hood, you ain't gonna be the only one
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: in there. We got some squatters. You got to move over.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: You got walking around that graveyard because I'm gonna keep moving.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: But what we're not fit to do is have all
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: these conversations. We fit to have anything. If you came
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: into some money, let's say fifty million dollars, would you
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: rather invest, invested or spend it off? Fifty millions? Would
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: you rather invested or would you rather spend? What is
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: we investing for? Here? We got fifty I mean, I
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: know what I would do, but i'm as you got
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: time fifty. If you say invest, I'm spending. That's you.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: That's your investment. Yeah, spending, what would you do? It
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: depends on how old you are. We're talking about you.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm talking about I'm spending mine, are you? Okay? Well, investment?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: What my age I should be doing? Spending it? If
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you get junior, Yeah, you need you need to take
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: your you forty folk forty four, You need to take
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: thirty five million and put it away. But we're doing
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: that out the fifteen Do it in. Saving ain't gonna
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: get you no money. You gotta saving ain't gonna get
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: you no money. Okay, you got you gotta get into
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: compound daily interest thing and in seven years double your money.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: You gotta get in something like that. That's that's not saving.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: You have to investor, and then you need to take
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: that fifteen million and get your life right. Yes, we're
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: going around the world at that point my fifty. Yeah,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: probably the direct opposite. Spending the thirty five and investing
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: thirty five then margin let him have it all in
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the face holding up a new ig page, just balling.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Can't get it? Oh man, I had a couple of
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: more to ask you, but we're out of time. So
