- 1:31Speaker 7: I.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn you probably got to turn the mouth, turn out a.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Wad of the money.
- 1:55Speaker 8: Come on, come on, you'll think, ah huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 8: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 8: a radio show. Why because God, God is in the
- 2:15Speaker 8: blessing business. If you go get in line, he has
- 2:19Speaker 8: something for you. God is amazing. The plan he actually
- 2:25Speaker 8: has for you is so far greater than you can
- 2:28Speaker 8: possibly imagine. It's really mind blowing. And as I look
- 2:33Speaker 8: back on where He's brought me from and what he's
- 2:38Speaker 8: currently doing for me, all I can do is tell
- 2:42Speaker 8: you is God. That's all I can tell you, Because
- 2:44Speaker 8: I tell you right now, I didn't foresee it.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 8: It oftentimes amazes me when I listen to celebrities when
- 2:51Speaker 8: they interview, how they say, you know, I always always
- 2:54Speaker 8: thought that this would happen for me and I just
- 2:57Speaker 8: you know it could be true, but for me it
- 3:00Speaker 8: is not that way at all. I didn't imagine it
- 3:06Speaker 8: this way. I had a dream of becoming famous one day,
- 3:12Speaker 8: but I had no idea it would ever get to this.
- 3:18Speaker 8: It was a very very simple desire for fame. There
- 3:22Speaker 8: is no way I could have seen all this. There
- 3:24Speaker 8: is no way I am telling you this is. This
- 3:29Speaker 8: has been nothing for me but the grace of God,
- 3:33Speaker 8: and all the times I failed, every time I had fallen,
- 3:38Speaker 8: he picked me up, He dusted me off, and he
- 3:42Speaker 8: kept me moving. It has been an amazing thing to
- 3:47Speaker 8: watch God do what he do. As I look back
- 3:50Speaker 8: on my history and you sometimes look back on your history,
- 3:53Speaker 8: you've got to see, man, wow, what God has done
- 3:57Speaker 8: for you and what He's brought you through to enable
- 3:59Speaker 8: you to be you are. It is amazing because really,
- 4:04Speaker 8: I mean really real talk. Now, had he allowed all
- 4:07Speaker 8: of the decisions I had made to play all the
- 4:10Speaker 8: way out, I can.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Assure you I wouldn't be here today.
- 4:14Speaker 8: But God, through this grace and mercy, who had a
- 4:17Speaker 8: plan for me, who was just waiting on me to
- 4:20Speaker 8: come get in line, and then he was gonna start
- 4:23Speaker 8: emptying Now he was gonna start shipping out all the boxes.
- 4:27Speaker 2: In heaven with my name on it. And man, what a.
- 4:30Speaker 8: Great god he is, What a great god he is.
- 4:34Speaker 8: And you have boxes of blessings with your name on
- 4:38Speaker 8: it that he is waiting to ship. But he needs
- 4:42Speaker 8: you to go down there and get in line. That's
- 4:44Speaker 8: what it is. It is not that he has more
- 4:48Speaker 8: boxes for other people than he do you. He got
- 4:50Speaker 8: boxes with your name on it who have never been
- 4:53Speaker 8: shipped because you will not get in line to go
- 4:56Speaker 8: get them. You will not ask God for him, you
- 5:00Speaker 8: will not do the things necessary to attain them. We
- 5:03Speaker 8: stop our own blessings. Man, I have been the biggest
- 5:06Speaker 8: stopper of my blessings than anybody else. I can't really
- 5:09Speaker 8: get mad at nobody. I got nobody to blame for
- 5:12Speaker 8: my existence but me. But then at the same time,
- 5:17Speaker 8: I can't take credit for this. I really really can't.
- 5:20Speaker 8: I kid you not, I cannot take credit for it.
- 5:23Speaker 8: And if you ever see me taking credit for it,
- 5:26Speaker 8: tap me on the shoulder, say Steve, pull up. Remember
- 5:29Speaker 8: you said this ain't about you. If you catch me
- 5:32Speaker 8: taking too much credit, you have my permission to stop me.
- 5:37Speaker 8: Now Here is the deal, though, And This is what
- 5:41Speaker 8: I want to get through to you today. Moving forward
- 5:47Speaker 8: while under attack, new level, new devil. You know, every
- 5:52Speaker 8: time you go somewhere, every time you try to progress,
- 5:56Speaker 8: every time you make a decision to be better, to
- 5:58Speaker 8: do better, that's going to be a confrontation you're going
- 6:01Speaker 8: to have because it is the enemy's job to not
- 6:04Speaker 8: see you go forward, do better, want more, behave yourself.
- 6:10Speaker 8: There is a force that is operative out there that
- 6:13Speaker 8: has people working on his behalf twenty four to seven.
- 6:17Speaker 8: You got a computer, Go read a blog. Just go
- 6:20Speaker 8: read a blog. They busy man not knowing, but just
- 6:24Speaker 8: saying evil stuff constantly.
- 6:28Speaker 2: That's the job. Well, here's what happens. I you.
- 6:34Speaker 8: We have to always keep moving forward while we're under attack,
- 6:42Speaker 8: because the attack is going to always come. If you
- 6:47Speaker 8: allow the attackers to stop you, you will lose that
- 6:51Speaker 8: particular battle. And you cannot afford this.
- 6:55Speaker 7: You know.
- 6:55Speaker 8: My father used to say, be careful when you're trying
- 6:59Speaker 8: to kick some body off the ladder, because you got
- 7:02Speaker 8: to take your foot off too, and you might slip.
- 7:05Speaker 8: And so when people are taking their feet off the ladder,
- 7:09Speaker 8: most some of them may most the majority of them
- 7:10Speaker 8: mayn't even up own a ladder. They just at the
- 7:12Speaker 8: bottom throwing stuff up at you. They are just shaking
- 7:16Speaker 8: your ladder. They ain't even they ain't even on your level.
- 7:19Speaker 8: Really tell you the truth, they really not. You have
- 7:21Speaker 8: moved on far beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything, but they
- 7:26Speaker 8: are still shaking your ladder and attacking.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You.
- 7:29Speaker 8: Keep moving forward while under attack, because the attacks are
- 7:33Speaker 8: going to come. If you take the time to stop
- 7:36Speaker 8: and address it, you are impeding your own progress.
- 7:41Speaker 2: This is very important to understand.
- 7:43Speaker 8: Go on bout your business and remember Steve Harvey, and
- 7:47Speaker 8: remember those of you out there. There is a Bible
- 7:50Speaker 8: verse that helps me out every time. And I don't
- 7:53Speaker 8: know why. I got it on six different plaques sitting
- 7:56Speaker 8: all around my offices. Everywhere I go, I can read
- 7:58Speaker 8: it Isaiah fifty five seventeen. No weapon formed against me
- 8:02Speaker 8: shall prosper that because this is that he will put
- 8:06Speaker 8: me under his wings of protection. And this is my
- 8:11Speaker 8: inheritance as a servant.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Of the Lord period.
- 8:16Speaker 8: I'm his boy, he my man, so so dig so
- 8:20Speaker 8: when you're coming for me, I have to just rest
- 8:23Speaker 8: on that Lord right there, that he got it that
- 8:27Speaker 8: no weapon formed against me shall prosper I'm just like you.
- 8:30Speaker 8: Sometimes you know, we know better, but sometimes we don't
- 8:33Speaker 8: do better. Man, let them say what they gonna say.
- 8:36Speaker 8: When they get through saying it, when they get through
- 8:38Speaker 8: writing it, when they get through talking about you, when
- 8:41Speaker 8: they get through lying about you. Guess what they're gonna
- 8:43Speaker 8: have to do. They're gonna have to step back and
- 8:46Speaker 8: watch your rise. They gonna have to kick back and
- 8:49Speaker 8: watch what God got for you, because nothing God got
- 8:52Speaker 8: for you. Can't nobody stop it. I don't care what
- 8:54Speaker 8: they do. Keep moving forward while under attack. Yo, something
- 9:01Speaker 8: I tell you something, man. Minister Lewis Fahkahn taught me
- 9:05Speaker 8: something very important one day, he says, Steve, remember this.
- 9:09Speaker 2: He said.
- 9:09Speaker 8: It is a common thing for a dog to bark
- 9:14Speaker 8: up at the moon. But if the moon barks back
- 9:18Speaker 8: at the dog, the dog becomes famous.
- 9:21Speaker 2: You feel me, the moon was talking to you. What
- 9:25Speaker 2: did you? How did the moon stop and talk to you?
- 9:28Speaker 8: Don't give them that. Let the dog bark up at
- 9:32Speaker 8: the moon. Don't you be up there? You go where
- 9:34Speaker 8: God got you going. Don't bark back at this dog
- 9:36Speaker 8: because the dog come famous because they ain't gonna be
- 9:38Speaker 8: able to get to you. But the dog is famous.
- 9:40Speaker 8: Now they want to interview the dog. Now the dog,
- 9:42Speaker 8: guess what he gonna do? More barking? Guess what about you?
- 9:46Speaker 2: Man? Go on about your business, y'all. God is in
- 9:48Speaker 2: the blessing business all day long.
- 9:50Speaker 8: Man, Go get in line, get you some get them
- 9:53Speaker 8: packages and boxes shipped to you.
- 9:55Speaker 2: They got your name on it.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have it your undivided attention.
- 10:08Speaker 8: I know I say it every day, but man, it
- 10:10Speaker 8: just bears repeating. You all, I don't really want you
- 10:13Speaker 8: to overlook a very very basic and simple fact that
- 10:19Speaker 8: today was given to us. This is something we've never
- 10:22Speaker 8: had before. We've never had this day. We've never had
- 10:24Speaker 8: this moment. We've been given this incredible gift of life.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Again.
- 10:29Speaker 8: I know it comes with a lot of struggles. I
- 10:32Speaker 8: know it comes with some situations that you got to
- 10:35Speaker 8: grapple with.
- 10:36Speaker 2: That's called life.
- 10:37Speaker 8: The sun ain't gonna shine all the time, because if
- 10:39Speaker 8: it did, you wouldn't appreciate it. You have the night
- 10:42Speaker 8: so you can appreciate the day. You had, the clouds
- 10:46Speaker 8: so you can enjoy the sun. You had the flowers,
- 10:49Speaker 8: but you're gonna have to have his rain, now, you understand.
- 10:52Speaker 8: So however it is, I'm just grateful that I'm here
- 10:54Speaker 8: for it. I want you to join it with me
- 10:56Speaker 8: and be grateful to y'all, be grateful that God gave
- 10:59Speaker 8: us this wonder for day today.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I love it, man, Thank you Lord. I appreciate you.
- 11:03Speaker 9: Man.
- 11:04Speaker 8: Hope you give me a whole lot more. I love
- 11:06Speaker 8: to live for one hundred and four years. But if
- 11:08Speaker 8: you call me home early, just hope I'm ready to go.
- 11:11Speaker 8: I'm not, but I just want to throw that out there.
- 11:14Speaker 8: I'm clearly out of my knock right now. It need

- 22:41Speaker 1: DMV rights. I asked to keep my two granddaughters for
- 22:45Speaker 1: a week this summer, but it's been a month. Whenever
- 22:49Speaker 1: I talk to my daughter, she claims she's too tired
- 22:51Speaker 1: to come and get them. The girls go back to
- 22:54Speaker 1: school late August, and I'm afraid they'll be with me
- 22:57Speaker 1: until then. Should I drive one hundred and thirty seven
- 23:01Speaker 1: miles to drop them off unannounced?
- 23:03Speaker 6: Hell?
- 23:07Speaker 2: I wouldn't.
- 23:08Speaker 8: But see this, you've just earned yourself a privilege. Now,

- 23:26Speaker 8: gonna FaceTime.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Oh so grandma off next summer.
- 23:30Speaker 8: Yeah, well we're gonna FaceTime. That's what I do with
- 23:33Speaker 8: my grandkids, just as much enjoyment. Now Marjorie has to
- 23:38Speaker 8: be there, hugging and playing with them. I don't I
- 23:44Speaker 8: think face tied. Yes, that's good, you know, No, I
- 23:53Speaker 8: think it's a wonderful thing, you know. So, yeah, that
- 23:57Speaker 8: she trifling, she did that. I'm too tired, and it'
- 24:00Speaker 8: one hundred and thirty seven miles. So she's too tired
- 24:02Speaker 8: to try. And that's true because she wearing herself out.
- 24:06Speaker 2: She cameo.
- 24:11Speaker 1: On her black Fatima and Harlem says. I met my
- 24:16Speaker 1: boyfriend at a restaurant for dinner, and I walked up.
- 24:20Speaker 1: As I walked up the block, a man ran up
- 24:22Speaker 1: to me to compliment me on my dress. My boyfriend
- 24:25Speaker 1: saw the guy walking alongside me and assumed I had
- 24:29Speaker 1: another guy escort me to the restaurant. How can I
- 24:32Speaker 1: get him to believe that what he saw was totally innocent?
- 24:35Speaker 10: What?
- 24:37Speaker 8: Okay, I don't understand what you say. She was walking
- 24:40Speaker 8: boyfriend or just how she met the guy, I don't know.
- 24:43Speaker 1: No, she met her boyfriend at a restaurant. He was
- 24:45Speaker 1: waiting for her at a restaurant for dinner, and as
- 24:48Speaker 1: she was walking up to meet him, a man ran
- 24:51Speaker 1: up to her to compliment her on her dress. You know,
- 24:54Speaker 1: hey says I love your dress or whatever. So her
- 24:57Speaker 1: boyfriend saw the guy walking aside, you know, alongside her,
- 25:00Speaker 1: and he assumed that she had someone else escort her
- 25:03Speaker 1: to the restaurant.
- 25:07Speaker 8: You right there, Yeah, that's that's what That's what it
- 25:11Speaker 8: looked like. You know, But you if you're telling the truth.
- 25:15Speaker 8: You're telling the truth. See what makes it so hard
- 25:19Speaker 8: to convince your man is we are accustomed to line.
- 25:24Speaker 2: So why would you know? I would? I would, That's
- 25:30Speaker 2: what I'd go with it. I don't know. I don't
- 25:33Speaker 2: see nothing wrong with that.
- 25:37Speaker 1: So she told him the truth and still got in trouble.
- 25:41Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, but see it was no lie. You
- 25:45Speaker 8: could have told he saw it with his own eyes,
- 25:49Speaker 8: you know all. You could have just said, well, you
- 25:51Speaker 8: didn't walk me. You sat in there and waited.
- 25:57Speaker 11: Like yeah, put him back on his heels.
- 26:01Speaker 8: You know, maybe you ought to start walking me to
- 26:03Speaker 8: the restaurant instead of sitting in there waiting, watching.
- 26:05Speaker 2: You're looking at the window watching. Yeah, I like that.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I like fellow. Yeah, all right. Moving on to Trina
- 26:17Speaker 1: and Montgomery, Trina writes, my husband is so concerned about
- 26:20Speaker 1: crime that he put a tracker on my car without
- 26:23Speaker 1: telling me. I was at an ex boyfriend's house getting
- 26:26Speaker 1: a tune up when my husband texted me and asked
- 26:29Speaker 1: where I was. Trying to be funny, I said I
- 26:32Speaker 1: was with my side. Dude, he texted back, I know,
- 26:36Speaker 1: am I gonna have to confess? Wow?
- 26:43Speaker 2: Would you make I see?
- 26:48Speaker 8: Why would you try to make a lie out the
- 26:53Speaker 8: truth that ain't hurt?
- 26:55Speaker 1: What one more time?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Let me see, let me let me let me no, no, no,
- 27:03Speaker 2: But why.
- 27:04Speaker 8: Would you take a perfectly good lie use it acting
- 27:13Speaker 8: as though it's the truth when clearly the truth will
- 27:20Speaker 8: never do come off?
- 27:23Speaker 10: So?
- 27:23Speaker 8: Now you at your ex dude's house getting the tune up?
- 27:28Speaker 2: He said, where was you at? He said?
- 27:30Speaker 8: I was at my ex Guys? He said, I know,

- 27:49Speaker 8: I was getting the car tuned up? Tune up place?
- 27:56Speaker 8: And let me tell you something. Your husband ain't so
- 28:00Speaker 8: concerned with crime that he had a tracker put on
- 28:03Speaker 8: your car. He concerned about you having a tracker on
- 28:08Speaker 8: your car. Don't stop crying.
- 28:12Speaker 1: That's what that means.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Let's let's just go with the lie.
- 28:17Speaker 8: He told you he's so concerned with crime he put
- 28:20Speaker 8: a track on your car?
- 28:21Speaker 2: What and.
- 28:25Speaker 7: That?
- 28:25Speaker 2: Don't stop? That ain't a tracker.
- 28:27Speaker 8: That's called lo jack, that's been on cars for years now?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Is he the only mechanic dog in Montgomery?
- 28:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:37Speaker 8: See, but why you should have you should have never
- 28:40Speaker 8: just said I went to get the cartooned up.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Okay, then why the trackers say you was at.
- 28:46Speaker 8: Your ex boyfriend house because he worked on cars. Would
- 28:53Speaker 8: have been all right, but oh no, you're gonna be
- 28:57Speaker 8: I was over my ex stud his house getting tune up.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I know that she got tuned up. Now you got
- 29:03Speaker 2: tuned up?
- 29:03Speaker 8: Am I gonna have to confess you're stupid? You already did.
- 29:09Speaker 8: But well, the key to Lion is it can't be

- 39:17Speaker 8: I don't want controlling, yeah, but gee, I'm a rebel
- 39:21Speaker 8: on that controlling.
- 39:22Speaker 2: But I don't want to hear your opinion. All I
- 39:25Speaker 2: really know that is.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Not opinionated like a like like a drug.
- 39:31Speaker 2: That's that they don't even make that type of woman too.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 39:36Speaker 2: That's an impossible yea, that's an impossible statement. That was
- 39:39Speaker 2: a movie. That was a movie. Yeah, America, all right?
- 39:45Speaker 1: Would you rather be voted class clown or would you
- 39:48Speaker 1: rather be voted most likely to succeed?
- 39:52Speaker 2: That was both of them? I know good and hell
- 39:55Speaker 2: well I wasn't gonna beat.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Be Oh you didn't think so?
- 39:59Speaker 2: Well?
- 40:00Speaker 1: What dreams?
- 40:01Speaker 2: Back then?
- 40:02Speaker 8: Who the hell was going to vote for me? It
- 40:04Speaker 8: is most likely to succeed? I was voted most difficult.
- 40:10Speaker 1: That that was so accurate. Yeah, why do you have
- 40:13Speaker 1: to carry that on too your adult life? Leave that
- 40:16Speaker 1: where it belongs the voting.
- 40:20Speaker 2: This is how I am.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Don't they voted you that?
- 40:24Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 40:25Speaker 8: All right, well, I really like being how I am.
- 40:27Speaker 8: I don't really see the problem. I really, I swear
- 40:30Speaker 8: to you, I do not see the problem.
- 40:32Speaker 2: You see it.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I tell you about it every day.
- 40:36Speaker 2: What is the problem? But but see, look at the
- 40:38Speaker 2: source of who's telling me this.
- 40:40Speaker 8: Y'all telling me this because I don't want to do
- 40:42Speaker 8: what y'all want me to do.
- 40:45Speaker 1: That's no, that's it all that, it's whats to be done.
- 40:51Speaker 1: It's no we want you to do.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Y'all don't tell me what I need to do. Who
- 40:56Speaker 2: is not it?
- 40:57Speaker 4: Well, sometimes we need impretation from Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 2: You give us that.
- 41:05Speaker 1: A lot of business being difficult right now? That's your
- 41:15Speaker 1: angil round.
- 41:18Speaker 8: This is because y'all look at my schedule and y'all
- 41:20Speaker 8: try to fill it with what y'all to do.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Now we don't. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 41:31Speaker 1: so listen to this. If someone throws a party, are
- 41:34Speaker 1: all guests obligated to stay and clean. That's the question
- 41:38Speaker 1: on the table.
- 41:39Speaker 6: Uh.
- 41:39Speaker 1: This is from Tony and Steve Harvey FM. Tony says,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I was at a friend's barbecue the other day and
- 41:44Speaker 1: I felt bad when it was over because everyone was
- 41:47Speaker 1: cleaning up. But I really had to go. I had
- 41:50Speaker 1: to pick my son up and get the other kids
- 41:52Speaker 1: home to go go to sleep. Staying to clean was
- 41:55Speaker 1: not an option for me. I've had parties where no one,
- 42:00Speaker 1: no one stays and cleans. So here's my question. This
- 42:03Speaker 1: is the question from Tony. How obligated are party guests
- 42:06Speaker 1: to stay at the end and help the host clean?
- 42:09Speaker 13: If I throw a barbecue, then yes, I'm not really
- 42:13Speaker 13: expecting nobody to stay around and help me clean up.
- 42:16Speaker 13: I just don't If it was my choice, I decided
- 42:18Speaker 13: to invite you over, so I'm not expecting you to
- 42:21Speaker 13: do any I'm not expecting you to bring nothing.
- 42:22Speaker 18: I'm not.
- 42:23Speaker 2: I'm laying it all the way out.
- 42:24Speaker 13: But now let's get to that Thanksgiving though, that's the
- 42:28Speaker 13: one that Thanksgiving that that pot look where everybody bringing something?
- 42:33Speaker 2: That one?
- 42:33Speaker 13: Well, the dishes are just everywhere because think about it, y'all,
- 42:36Speaker 13: when we're doing a barbecue, it's really.
- 42:38Speaker 2: It's paper plates. You know what I mean.
- 42:40Speaker 13: You know you're making it easy and simple. But when
- 42:43Speaker 13: you pull out all that that that that that good flatwell,
- 42:47Speaker 13: all that good good everything.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Now okay, all right.
- 42:53Speaker 13: If you're gonna sit here and take four plates home, yes, yes,
- 42:57Speaker 13: we go clean up together for.
- 42:59Speaker 9: Oil al oil.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Tommy, you're saying it depends on the occasion.
- 43:08Speaker 1: If you sho I think.
- 43:09Speaker 13: It depends on the occasion when it's Thanksgiving, because this
- 43:12Speaker 13: is a mess. We everybody need to clean up. Let's
- 43:14Speaker 13: get together, that's all. And that's what I've seen. You
- 43:17Speaker 13: know our family members do they all get together clean up,
- 43:19Speaker 13: and we.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Could a family member.
- 43:23Speaker 13: You know what I don't if you hate at Thanksgiving
- 43:26Speaker 13: binging at the house you got four or five paper
- 43:31Speaker 13: plates wrapped in foil, yes, I don't who you got
- 43:35Speaker 13: to pick up. You're gonna be late picking them up. Okay,
- 43:38Speaker 13: but you're clean up round here.
- 43:40Speaker 1: If you're guess, go ahead, Junior, I'm gonna let you
- 43:43Speaker 1: speak ahead.
- 43:44Speaker 11: I'm totally against what Tommy's talking about.
- 43:47Speaker 1: I'm not on the clean up crew.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I'm the guest.
- 43:50Speaker 18: You called me and asked me to be that.
- 43:54Speaker 2: That's why you over here.
- 43:56Speaker 18: Okay, I am telling you right now, if you look
- 43:59Speaker 18: for me to have a trash bag at your house,
- 44:01Speaker 18: I will not.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I have gone so far as to ask do you
- 44:07Speaker 1: need any help? Meaning that at me, I didn't.
- 44:10Speaker 18: Need everybody's meaning. Don't even bring up do you need anything?
- 44:15Speaker 18: I Am here to eat.
- 44:16Speaker 1: And be merry.
- 44:17Speaker 2: That's what I'm being for. So I appreciate what timmey
- 44:21Speaker 2: throw a barbecue.
- 44:22Speaker 18: I love going to look at the lake, have a
- 44:24Speaker 18: wonderful time, and then I'm leaving.
- 44:28Speaker 13: Get out when you shirty called it. When y'all say
- 44:32Speaker 13: do you need any help? If they say yes, then what.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Oh look at the time, girl, I'm sorry. They're not
- 44:42Speaker 1: going to say yes. You already know they're not gonna
- 44:45Speaker 1: say yes.
- 44:46Speaker 11: No, oh my way out, I point out stuff. Did
- 44:49Speaker 11: you see that plate by the door?
- 44:52Speaker 1: Did you see that?
- 44:53Speaker 2: I did?
- 44:57Speaker 1: Yes, they're not okay.
- 44:59Speaker 4: So it depends on who is throwing the party. If
- 45:06Speaker 4: it's somebody I'm very very close to, I will say
- 45:10Speaker 4: you need some help, and I look in their kitchen
- 45:13Speaker 4: and I look that they're overwhelmed.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Then I will help. I will help. It just depends
- 45:18Speaker 1: on who it is. Different but right, but.
- 45:22Speaker 4: But I'm like Junior, I'm probably gonna bounce before.
- 45:25Speaker 1: The end, before the clean up comes out. Yes, if
- 45:30Speaker 1: it looked.
- 45:31Speaker 13: Like the kitchen, if it looked like the kitchen and boomerange, Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 13: come on, man, don't leave me like this.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Man, don't do that.
- 45:41Speaker 1: When parents left.
- 45:43Speaker 13: Yeah, bank bank bank, bank, Hey, man, give me some
- 45:48Speaker 13: help over here.
- 45:52Speaker 18: If I had to kill an insect while I was
- 45:55Speaker 18: at your house, I've done my job.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I feel if you had to kill an insect.
- 46:01Speaker 2: I had to care an advice.
- 46:04Speaker 11: I'm going.
- 46:08Speaker 6: All right.

- 56:50Speaker 1: Subject he doesn't realize he married a black woman. Dear
- 56:54Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I've been married ten months and we might
- 56:57Speaker 1: not make it to a full year. It for a
- 57:00Speaker 1: year before we got married, and we didn't live together
- 57:03Speaker 1: until a week after our wedding. I switch up my
- 57:06Speaker 1: hairstyle often, but I never let my man see me
- 57:09Speaker 1: when my wigs were off, and he'd never seen me
- 57:12Speaker 1: without foundation on. I kept a cute and foxy for him.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I kept it cute and sexy for him until I
- 57:19Speaker 1: got the ring. I showed him my representative and I
- 57:22Speaker 1: was always well put together for him. We got a
- 57:25Speaker 1: home together, and I put my wigs in the dining
- 57:28Speaker 1: room temporarily. He had a fit about them being in there,
- 57:32Speaker 1: and one day I came home from work and he
- 57:34Speaker 1: had already put them in the guest room on the floor.
- 57:37Speaker 1: I had a good conversation with him about handling my
- 57:39Speaker 1: stuff without consulting me. First. He has four sisters, and
- 57:43Speaker 1: I know they're Caucasian, but they wear wigs and hair
- 57:47Speaker 1: pieces too. We all got our hair done together for
- 57:50Speaker 1: the wedding, so I saw it. This weekend. He walked
- 57:53Speaker 1: in on me in the bathroom and he saw me
- 57:55Speaker 1: with all of my makeup completely off, and I was
- 57:58Speaker 1: plucking a hair from my chin. He was totally turned off.
- 58:02Speaker 1: He didn't have to say it because it showed in
- 58:05Speaker 1: his face. At that moment, I decided to give him
- 58:08Speaker 1: the full black girl experience. When he got home from
- 58:11Speaker 1: work the next day, I had the wig off with
- 58:14Speaker 1: my corn rows showing. I took off the lashes, and
- 58:18Speaker 1: I was walking around without a brath. He tried to
- 58:22Speaker 1: play off his surprised look, and he told me I
- 58:25Speaker 1: was beautiful anyway I chose to look. Then he asked
- 58:28Speaker 1: if the corn rows were my new hairstyle. I reminded
- 58:32Speaker 1: him that he's married to a real black woman. I
- 58:34Speaker 1: don't think it registered when we were dating. Should I
- 58:37Speaker 1: discuss this or should I let it slide? No, you
- 58:41Speaker 1: don't have to discuss it. I mean, it's pretty clear
- 58:44Speaker 1: that this letter is about you and your wigs. That's
- 58:47Speaker 1: basically what it is. And although it seems like you
- 58:51Speaker 1: went to great Lanes not to say it, you are
- 58:54Speaker 1: married to a white man. I mean, we know this
- 58:56Speaker 1: because you said his sisters are Caucasian. I don't occasion.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I don't see what the big deal is because I
- 59:02Speaker 1: know black men that would probably be just as confused
- 59:05Speaker 1: with you. The problem in your mind is that you're
- 59:08Speaker 1: a black woman and you wear wigs, but his white
- 59:11Speaker 1: sisters wear wigs too, So I don't think that's it.
- 59:15Speaker 1: You put your wigs in the dining room. That's the issue.
- 59:18Speaker 1: He came in there and saw these wigs in the
- 59:20Speaker 1: dining room probably, you know, freaked him out a little bit,
- 59:23Speaker 1: startled him. But didn't he tell you you're beautiful in
- 59:26Speaker 1: any way you want to look? Well, why didn't you
- 59:29Speaker 1: believe him? I just don't think even a brother would
- 59:32Speaker 1: want to walk into the dining room and see wigs
- 59:34Speaker 1: all over the place. I just don't I wouldn't, you know.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I just think they would think they were better suited
- 59:42Speaker 1: for the guest room as well. So let's just be clear.
- 59:45Speaker 1: You knew what you were doing all along. You didn't
- 59:48Speaker 1: let him know you wore wigs until you got married.
- 59:52Speaker 1: You said you sent your representative early on in the relationship.
- 59:56Speaker 1: You said you kept it cute and didn't let him
- 59:59Speaker 1: see you without hair and make up until you got
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: the ring. Now it's gotten harder to keep it all together,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: and you're mad at him because he's white. This just
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: doesn't make sense to me. It's not that you're a
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: black woman. He knew that when he married you and
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: dated you. That was pretty clear, right. It's just that
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you need to keep your wigs and stuff in the
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: designated area. I know plenty of people who wear makeup
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and wigs and weaves and pieces and all that. It's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: just the sneaky way you went about all of this.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: That's what it is to me. Steve.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Shirley glad you were first.
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: Thank you for your attempt to make this letter palatable
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: for the listening audience. But I'm not here for that.
- 1:00:36Speaker 8: That's just going to cut down to it. Say, got
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: nothing to do with them wig sitting in that dining room.
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: I'ma tell you that right now. It's about the fact
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: that the white boyd then finally found out who he
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: was really married to, and the representative that you showed
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: him did not tell the whole story.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: That's what that about. I don't give it if you put.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: The wigs outside in the garage with the lawn mo
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: that ain't it.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: Here.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: The whole problem with this letter right here.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: Home girl that married the white dude, and the white
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: dude didn't know all that came with the black girl.
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: That's what this whole letter about. All women, A lot
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: of women wear pieces and they call it hot hair.
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: White girls got this stuff called hot hair. It come
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: on a strain, and they raised their regular hair up
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: and they put it around their head like a band,
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: and then they dropped their hair over it to cover
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: the little strain, and it adds left to their hair.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Ain't nothing wrong with that. It looked full. Almost every
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: last one of them on ESPN got it on. Just
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: watch it.
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: Ain't nothing wrong with that some sisters wear we ain't
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: nothing wrong with that. Your representative didn't tell the white
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: dude the whole story, y'all for a year. You don't
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: think if you gonna make it? Where are you surprising him?
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: And some of the stuff that you're shocking him wick
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: is with big muddy. Now.
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: You switch up your hairstyle often, but you never in
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: a whole year. You ain't let your man see you
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: with your wigs off. And he never seen you without
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: foundation on. Now, let me tell you some see seeing
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: you without makeup at one thing. But when he when
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: you remove the foundation, that's the that's called that the
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: that's the base coat. For all you men out there
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: that don't understand that if you fit the paint or white,
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: if you fit the paint over a dark color with
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: a lighter color, you got to prime that wall.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: First.
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: You just can't go in that painting on that new
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: color on top of that other color, because it's gonna
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: bleed through foundation based coat.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: You took that off.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on, okay too, everythings. We'll have
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject is he
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: doesn't realize he married a black woman. We'll get back
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:51Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: he doesn't realize he married a black woman.
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: Yeah, well, made the statements about where you put your
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: wigs this letter is clearly, clearly this letters.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Part of my answer.
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: Well, that's nothing to do with this. Hire nothing, nothing
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: from such wigs. I don't care if you set it
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: in a bowl of cereal while you eating your eggs.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I don't care. That ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: Just what this problem is is you never your representative,
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: did not allow him to meet the real person you
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: dated for a year. You say you switch up your
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: hairstyles often, but you ain't never let him see you
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: with your wigs off.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: And he never seen me without foundation on.
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: That's the base coat, fellas in case y'all don't know,
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: it's if you prime in the wall, you got to
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: put on the base coat or some primal.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: The foundation is primal. Now I showed him.
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: My representative, and I was always well put together for him.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: We got a home. Let me see where's this line?
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Exactly what she said.
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: You didn't let him see all that you put in.
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: And one day he came home from work and I
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: had He had a fit about them being Now you
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: put them in the dining room temporarily, he had a
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: fit about him being there. One day I came home
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: from work and he had already put him in the
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: guest room on the floor. I had a good conversation
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: with him about handling my stuff without consulting me first,
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: as you should. He has four sisters, and I know
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: their Caucasian, but they wear wedgs and hair pieces too,
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: because we all got our hair gun done together for
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: the wedding. So I saw it this weekend. He walked
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: in on me in the bathroom. Now here we go,
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: here where the problem at and he saw me with
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: all of my makeup completely off.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: That threw him a little bit. That threw it.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: That just threw him a little bit because you said
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: you always kept it cute and sexy for him until
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: I got the ring. See nah, y'all marriage. And now
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: he been seen. He looking at this right here. He
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: walked in there on me in the bathroom. He saw
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: me with all my makeup completely off, and I was
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: plucking a hair from my chin. That's the one right there.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: See that.
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: Now all this man stuff going on. Listen, you gotta
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: bid see that ain't what I had. Foundation, that's what
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: that foundation for. Half follow course, you know. Uh, pluck marks,
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: that's what that's what foundation do. Foundation hide cuts, scars, wounds.
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: Bid Uh stubble foundation, hide stubble. Now what messed him
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: up was you was in that picking hair out that
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: bearded area on you. DA's what messed him up, really,
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: because now he got to really go through you know
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: how things go now you don't never know. Oh so
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: you know now he and that he and that picking
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: pronouns now and he looking in the mirror with pronoun
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: anxiety going on property.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: He probably not trying to figure out, well, that.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Is not what this letter is about.
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: It.
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: Well, I'm just telling you for a brief moment, for
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: a brief moment, he was looking upside your head trying
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: to figure out if he needed to pick a new pronoun.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: I know y'all want.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: To because that's not what the letter is about. You know,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: you don't know what is about.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Let Hirley, you're talking about it about way she putting him.
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: With it said a lot of stuff. Ain't got nothing
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: to do with this. He was totally turned off. He
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: didn't say it because it showed on his face at
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: that moment. I decided him to give him a full
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: black girl experience when he got home from work the
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: next day.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: Oh, you're gonna double up and do it again.
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: See right here. So you're showing out now, so you
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: should have switched back up. But no, no, you're gonna
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: double down on it. I decided to give him the
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: full black girl experience. When he got home next day,
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: I had to wig off my corn rolls, showing I
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: took off the lashes. I was walking around without a brawl.
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: He tried to play off his surprise looking. He told
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: me I was beautiful anyway. I chose to look nice.
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: Move that was too much for him, though. Then he
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: asked if the corn rolls was my new hairstyle. Just
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: curious now because you know we're finished over Mom's nim houses.
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: I reminded him that he's married to a real black woman.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: I don't think it registered when we were dating. Well,
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: you didn't want it to register, remember, because you said
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: you kept it all together while we're dating until you.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Got the ring.
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: See, so now should I discuss this or let it ride?
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: Now you have to discuss it.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: And stop.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: Look, don't be so brutal, because you did the job
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: you wanted to do. You put your representative out there
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: and held up until you got a ring. Now the
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: representative didn't tell the entire story, so now you want
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: to tell the story to the man. So now you
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: got to be courteous to the man at the same

- 1:09:15Speaker 8: as you say. But all this stuff you talking about

- 1:10:26Speaker 1: what it felt like when back pain didn't take over
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: your day? You bend, twist, sit, stand without even thinking
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: about it. Well, that feeling didn't go anywhere thanks to
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: a leave. With just one dose, A leave gives you
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: long lasting back pain relief for up to twelve hours,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: so you can get back to moving the way you
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: used to feel. A leave use as directed for minor
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: aches and pains. Here's an email from Steve Harvey FN.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: It says, mister, is this just one question again? Yeah,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: it's what happens the questions. We'll ask you more. We'll
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: ask you more depending on time.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: We got some question.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Yeah, question. This one's from a listener and we can
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: chime in, and you want to hear from our listeners. Yeah,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: and this one's a good one, mister Harvey. I need
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: your advice. I'm twenty three years old and so is
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: my best friend. We've been best friends since we were
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: two years old, and we talk almost every day. Her
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: birthday was a week ago, and I posted a picture
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: of the two of us and included a nice long
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: caption about how much I love her and value our friendship.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: She liked the post but didn't comment on it. We
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: don't live in the same city, so I called her
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the next day to see how her birthday was. She
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: didn't answer. She texted me instead and said that her
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: real friends called her and didn't just post happy birthday
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: on Instagram. I thought I was doing a great thing
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: by showing everyone how special our friendship is. She won't
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: talk to me. Now, was I wrong? Is this bad
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: social media etiquette?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Well, I don't.
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: I don't know such social media etiquette myself, per se.
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: Obviously she would have preferred a phone call versus posting.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: She said, she's twenty three years old. That's how they do.
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: Yeah, they post everything, yep, but a phone call would
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: have been nice.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: She's not talking to you.
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: I think that we've gotten so accustomed to this social
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: media thing that that we think it replaces conversation and
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: it doesn't.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: It just doesn't, and it's destroying social skills with these
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: young people. They don't talk to each other anymore. They
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: don't interact. Yeah, they don't act.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: It's just you know.
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: I just think that it's you know, that's why it's
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: such a The divorce rate is what it is. I think,
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: because so I mean, people are not divorce rate. But
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: people are not in sustainable relationships anymore because they don't
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: do sustainable.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Things to maintain a relationship. They just don't, you know.
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: I mean, you text, you tender, you swipe right, you
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: swipe left, easy, come, easy go. If you get it easy,
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: you'll let it go easy. If it's hard to get,
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: it's harder to let go.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: And then when they're together, they're texting. When they're together,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: they're texting and on their phones, they're not talking, they're
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: not communicating.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: How you going to sit right next to somebody and texting?
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: They do it all the time. They do it all
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: the time, all the time.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: Tasha's generation, these young kids, they do playdates and then
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: they sit next to each other. Yeah, and they on
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: the phone and that's their playdates. But they want to
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: be talk to each others.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Too, Millennials too. That's all they do. They text. They
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: have no social skills. They don't know how to interact
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: with one another unless it's on their phone or their
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: computer or something. Any other question anybody, Well, Steve, you're done.
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I think her heart was in the right place as
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: a best friend. But anyway, we'll come right back with
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: So Carl in slide L says, my wife invited a
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: neighbor over for drinks and the neighbors started talking about
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: how good she is at doing this thing that I love.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: She asked my wife that if it was okay to
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: show me, and my wife allowed her to do it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: She gave me an out of body experience that day.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Now it's so weird whenever I see her husband. As
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: a man, I want to know if my wife had
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: hooked up with one of our neighbors in that way.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: So should I have a heart to heart with this guy?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: What crazy?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Should agree it? Again? Miss All?
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: His name is Carl Lee. He's out of slide L.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: He says his wife invited a neighbor over for drinks
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and the neighbors started talking about how good she is
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: at doing this thing that he loves. She asked my
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: wife if it was okay to show me, and my
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: wife allowed her to do it. She gave me an
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: out of body experience that day. Now it's so weird
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: whenever I see her husband, because as a man, I
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: would want to know if my wife had hooked up
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: with one of our neighbors in that way. Should I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: have a heart to heart with this guy?
- 1:15:25Speaker 13: So you will be shot, so you will be shared
- 1:15:30Speaker 13: in the backyard.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Why why are you running your mouth? You your wife
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: let this woman do this to you.
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: Yeah, and now you wants to tell the husband your stupid.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: You don't You don't want to get it done again.
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: That's why, my uncle, you don't want to shut it down.
- 1:15:54Speaker 8: You don't see this as a as a gift. You
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: don't recognize this. Talk about the neighborhood Watch program. You
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: talk about the homeowners Association. I can't believe what.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: Brother. Let me ask you something, brother, why would you
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: tell her husband?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Because he wants He says he would want to know
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: if his wife hooked up with one of the neighbors.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: So he is, you know, I guess in his mind
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: trying to do it.
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: Bru.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: You need to find out.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Bru.
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: You're gonna mess around. You're gonna mess around, and this
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: this is gonna go way different.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Than you think. Yeah, I'm gonna give me a house
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: and slid. Hell, that's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: So let me see how this conversation gonna go. So
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: you're gonna go ding dong, you're gonna ready to do do?
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: Hey neighbor, Hey man, how you doing?
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Andy?
- 1:16:53Speaker 18: What?
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Yeah? What can I do for? I need to talk
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: to you, man, I need to talk to you. Yeah,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: what's going on?
- 1:16:59Speaker 8: You bought my lawnmore you he weedy?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: What do you need?
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: That ain't what I want? No that ain't want to
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: talk to you about your wife. Pardon me, I don't
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: talk to you about your wife. Wait a guy, he
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: don't talk to me about my wife? What about my wife? Yeah,
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: well she came over the other day and we was drinking,
- 1:17:28Speaker 8: and man, I got to tell you. I just want
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: you to know what I don't say. He had my
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: eyes rolled in the back of my head.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: So did you get something in your eyes? No, it
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: wasn't in my eye? Yeah, this ain't.
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: It's no. It is no way, no way to address
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: this subject, because before you get to the how it happened,
- 1:18:04Speaker 8: it's too much can happen Before that, you won't even
- 1:18:09Speaker 8: get to the end of this conversation life because it
- 1:18:12Speaker 8: just bruhs. The stupidest thing you could do. Just bring
- 1:18:14Speaker 8: this up. Listen, man, you got a free one. You
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: got it over. It's a secret. These are those things
- 1:18:22Speaker 8: you take to the grave. You know, y'all need to quit,
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: quit watching football together and all this huge all each
- 1:18:31Speaker 8: other's tools and all that.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: You know, just distance yourself.
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: But I know the next time she over there drinking
- 1:18:41Speaker 8: with the wife, I'm gonna be sitting there quiet as hell.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after we'll have

- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: So guys, here's a question for you. Could one million
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: dollars make you walk away from your marriage? How much?
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: That's the question? One million dollars? Hey, oh no, okay,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: all right now. According to a new survey, forty three
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: percent of the respondent says yes, they would leave the
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: romantic partner for one million dollars. So you guys are

- 1:19:35Speaker 1: if not for one million dollars, what's your number?
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: All right?

- 1:19:49Speaker 8: are we up?
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: We don't have a lot of time.

- 1:26:25Speaker 8: You're right, let's go. I got something I want to
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: share with you. Now, listen to me. When I share
- 1:26:32Speaker 8: this with you, You're.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Going to have to have an open mind to receive it.
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: But it's tough for when I try to share information
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: like this because I understand negative people. Negative people always
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: find a problem with your solution. It's amazing you can
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: have a real solution. You can find a way to
- 1:27:07Speaker 8: solve the problem. Do you know that a negative person
- 1:27:12Speaker 8: will find a problem with the solution. It's just people
- 1:27:18Speaker 8: like that. So I'm saying that before I say this,
- 1:27:20Speaker 8: because the old woe is me central is alive and
- 1:27:24Speaker 8: well in some people. I wish it wasn't, but it is.
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: But here I go. Anyway, So listen to this. Don't
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: get discouraged when it goes bad for you. Now, listen
- 1:27:37Speaker 8: to me carefully. Now I'm saying, don't get discouraged when
- 1:27:42Speaker 8: it's going bad for you. Now, it's not to say
- 1:27:46Speaker 8: that when bad things happen, you're not gonna feel badly
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: about it. It's not to say that you won't have
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: the natural human feelings when bad things happen to you,
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: because you will. I'm talking about discouraged. I'm talking about
- 1:28:05Speaker 8: because something has happened to you, you're now contemplating giving up.
- 1:28:11Speaker 8: You're discouraged to the point where you're thinking about it's
- 1:28:14Speaker 8: I guess, well, I guess it's not gonna happen or
- 1:28:16Speaker 8: you get discouraged to the point where you start thinking
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: about turning around.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: That's what I mean by discourage.
- 1:28:23Speaker 8: I'm not saying that you won't feel bad when bad
- 1:28:26Speaker 8: things happen. That's human nature. But I'm talking about don't
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: let it discourage you. And the reason I say that
- 1:28:34Speaker 8: is because you've gone through some bad times before.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: I just need to remind you of how strong you
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: really are.
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: See, you've gone through some bad times before, and I
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: have to remind you of this. You've survived them all.
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: Every bad moment you've ever gone through, you have actually
- 1:28:56Speaker 8: survived them all, all of them. So the only thing
- 1:29:07Speaker 8: you have to remember is that you've gotten.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: Past things in your past.
- 1:29:13Speaker 8: Now, if you haven't gotten past the things that's in
- 1:29:18Speaker 8: your past, or you can't get past the things that
- 1:29:21Speaker 8: happened to you, it's simply because you keep dwelling on it. See,
- 1:29:28Speaker 8: the devil has an amazing trick that he plays. Because
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: I think I said this yesterday, The devil really don't
- 1:29:36Speaker 8: care that you get a new card, new house, or
- 1:29:38Speaker 8: job promotion or raise.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: The devil don't care that you find love somewhere.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: He don't care.
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: Matter of fact, he can almost be okay with any
- 1:29:49Speaker 8: of that. His only job is to rob you of
- 1:29:52Speaker 8: your destiny. And one of the great tools that he
- 1:29:55Speaker 8: uses to rob you of your destiny is to make.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: You hold to your past. Man, he's so slick with that.
- 1:30:04Speaker 8: He gets in your head and he doesn't even allow
- 1:30:08Speaker 8: you to move past what you've gotten over because he
- 1:30:11Speaker 8: causes you to dwell on it, and you keep rehashing
- 1:30:15Speaker 8: it and bringing it up and going over and discussing it.
- 1:30:20Speaker 8: And then he uses another trick. He makes you think
- 1:30:24Speaker 8: because of something in your past is causing you not
- 1:30:27Speaker 8: to have a bright future. So now what you've done,
- 1:30:31Speaker 8: this thing that God has clearly gotten us all past
- 1:30:34Speaker 8: whatever it is. If you're still standing, you got past it.
- 1:30:39Speaker 8: But his trick is to make you think, since you
- 1:30:42Speaker 8: still remember it, it's still there. That doesn't have to
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: be the case. You can let it go. Your old
- 1:30:52Speaker 8: people say, turn it over to God. Have you ever
- 1:30:54Speaker 8: tried that? Have just your past? Just try this something
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: that's currently bothering you, just the things of your past.
- 1:31:04Speaker 8: Just turn it over to God. Let it go, just
- 1:31:09Speaker 8: release it to him. It will help you so much
- 1:31:13Speaker 8: in your advancement towards your future. Man, stop getting discouraged
- 1:31:19Speaker 8: every time things go bad. Things capping badly all the time,
- 1:31:22Speaker 8: and you're going to feel bad about it, but don't
- 1:31:25Speaker 8: let it discourage you to the point where you want
- 1:31:26Speaker 8: to give up and turn around. And if you haven't
- 1:31:30Speaker 8: gotten past your past, it's simply because you keep dwelling
- 1:31:34Speaker 8: on it. If God woke you up again today, it
- 1:31:39Speaker 8: is a sign from him that he wants you to
- 1:31:41Speaker 8: move forward. If he didn't want you to move forward,
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: you wouldn't wake up today. Come on, y'all, take your
- 1:31:49Speaker 8: past and let God have it so you can get to.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: Your y'all have a great weekare I show?
- 1:31:57Speaker 10: Am?
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: I know it's Tuesday.
