- 1:43Speaker 1: You probably got to turn the mouth out the money.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on you think that.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Real glad about it too.
- 2:14Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I hope that God.
- 2:17Speaker 7: Always keeps me in the frame of mind to try
- 2:22Speaker 7: to be sharing and try to be motivational and ubly
- 2:26Speaker 7: even when it's not felt or wanted by some people.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I have people around me.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Who seem to not benefit at all or anything, and
- 2:37Speaker 7: I can sit with them and talk to them or
- 2:40Speaker 7: take meetings with them to try to encourage them, and
- 2:43Speaker 7: for whatever reason, you know, they want to just keep
- 2:45Speaker 7: going the way they're going. When you run into people
- 2:48Speaker 7: like that, you have to pray for them. You have
- 2:50Speaker 7: to just hope that one day that they release the
- 2:54Speaker 7: chains on their mind and open up your mind to
- 2:56Speaker 7: a new way of thinking. A couple of things I
- 2:58Speaker 7: wanted to go over with that want you all today
- 3:01Speaker 7: in terms of motivation, I want you to be aware
- 3:06Speaker 7: of statements or old sayings that have been created that
- 3:11Speaker 7: you hear over the course of time, and you may
- 3:15Speaker 7: be applying them to your life. And I want you
- 3:18Speaker 7: to be careful of some of them because some of
- 3:20Speaker 7: these old sayings, man, are not designed for people who
- 3:26Speaker 7: are dreamers, are not designed for people who have any
- 3:31Speaker 7: aspirations of being extraordinary. These are not designs or sayings
- 3:37Speaker 7: that people who want to be extremely successful at anything
- 3:42Speaker 7: or have high aspirations to put these sayings into your life.
- 3:47Speaker 7: Let me give you an example. Statistics say that's it.
- 3:54Speaker 7: That's the one. I want you to be careful about.
- 3:57Speaker 7: Statistics say, be very careful of stats. When a person says,
- 4:05Speaker 7: you know, statistics say one out of every what see,
- 4:10Speaker 7: listen to me. These are things that sound like they're good,
- 4:14Speaker 7: sound solid advice, but they're setting you up for failure.
- 4:19Speaker 7: And you can't adhere yourself to a lot of these
- 4:22Speaker 7: sayings that's been passed down from generations. And it's not scripture.
- 4:28Speaker 7: It ain't in a scripture nowhere that statistics say. It's
- 4:32Speaker 7: just some people, and a lot of people who have
- 4:36Speaker 7: lost have come up with these sayings to justify why
- 4:40Speaker 7: they keep losing or why they lost. When I was
- 4:45Speaker 7: earth got started in the business, there were more stand
- 4:49Speaker 7: ups around now than it is today because the comedy
- 4:52Speaker 7: boom in eighty four eighty five was it was gaining
- 4:58Speaker 7: a lot of momentums, comedy club, comedy nights everywhere. The
- 5:02Speaker 7: statistic that a guy told me I told him I
- 5:06Speaker 7: wanted to be on the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show.
- 5:13Speaker 7: The guy said, one out of every two thousand comedians
- 5:19Speaker 7: ever make it to the Tonight Show. Okay, now, when
- 5:25Speaker 7: he told us that, some of the comedians in the
- 5:28Speaker 7: room went, well.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Wow, man, that's rough. Because a guy had also said
- 5:35Speaker 2: that there was.
- 5:35Speaker 7: Approximately six thousand comedians in the country at that time.
- 5:41Speaker 7: I don't know if it was true. I'm just telling
- 5:42Speaker 7: you a guy was out there spewing numbers. I have
- 5:45Speaker 7: no idea how many it was, but he said one
- 5:48Speaker 7: in every two thousand will make it to the Tonight Show.
- 5:51Speaker 7: And he let the air out of everybody in the
- 5:53Speaker 7: room but me. So every night before I went on stage,
- 5:58Speaker 7: I used to do this right here, Bute that bad.
- 6:04Speaker 7: That was the tonight theme song. I was young opening
- 6:11Speaker 7: act nowhere near Hollywood, didn't.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I was in Cleveland telling jokes at one night.
- 6:17Speaker 7: But that was my thing because I was bent and
- 6:20Speaker 7: determined that if it's one in two thousand, okay, why
- 6:23Speaker 7: don't I just be the one?
- 6:26Speaker 2: Be careful when.
- 6:27Speaker 7: People say statistics, say because they are set up to
- 6:31Speaker 7: fulfailure if you're gonna adhere to them. See that won
- 6:34Speaker 7: in so many it wanted. So many people win the lottery.
- 6:36Speaker 7: But if you don't play the lottery, you ain't gonna
- 6:38Speaker 7: be the one to hit. Not when the dude hits
- 6:39Speaker 7: you go while he was lucky, but he played. Here's
- 6:43Speaker 7: another one. Maybe it's not meant to be. Let's go
- 6:48Speaker 7: one step further. I guess it wasn't the Lord's will.
- 6:53Speaker 7: Don't you dare blame God for something you may have
- 6:57Speaker 7: not done yourself because you didn't get the proper education,
- 7:02Speaker 7: because you didn't do the things you were supposed to do,
- 7:05Speaker 7: because you didn't stay to the task, because you quit,
- 7:09Speaker 7: turned around and went the other way.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Now, maybe it's not it wasn't the lord's will.
- 7:14Speaker 7: These are all statements that sound like sound advice, but
- 7:20Speaker 7: they ain't all the time, got nothing to do with you.
- 7:24Speaker 7: Stop letting these old fogy sayings get in your way
- 7:28Speaker 7: of what can happen in your life.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Don't put all your eggs in one basket? Who came
- 7:38Speaker 2: up with this? Who came up with it?
- 7:40Speaker 7: If you don't pour all your efforts into one thing,
- 7:44Speaker 7: how are you gonna be great at that one thing?
- 7:47Speaker 7: If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had
- 7:53Speaker 7: not played basketball sun up to sundown. Magic Johnson didn't
- 7:57Speaker 7: go to Michigan to get an education. Larry Berry ain't
- 8:02Speaker 7: go to Indiana to get an education. These cats was balling.
- 8:06Speaker 7: Michael Jordan didn't go to North Carolina get an education.
- 8:10Speaker 7: They went to play ball. They went to do one thing.
- 8:14Speaker 7: Tiger Woods didn't go to Stamford to get an education.
- 8:18Speaker 7: He went to play golf. Soon as he got good enough,
- 8:21Speaker 7: he gone. These is guys that put all they eggs
- 8:25Speaker 7: in one basket. See what's cool with putting all your
- 8:29Speaker 7: eggs in one basket is you now can maximize your
- 8:32Speaker 7: effort and laser beam what you're doing.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Your problem is all you.
- 8:38Speaker 7: Gotta do is make sure what is your basket made
- 8:41Speaker 7: out of If your basket is made out of faith, hope,
- 8:46Speaker 7: hard work, and belief, then guess what, that's a good basket.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'm dumping all mine in it.
- 8:52Speaker 7: Because ever since I was a young dude, I've been
- 8:55Speaker 7: telling jokes one thing, one thing only. Even when it
- 8:58Speaker 7: got ugly and I was living in a car, I
- 9:00Speaker 7: never quit telling them jokes.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Man.
- 9:02Speaker 7: I just kept believing that them jokes was gonna pay
- 9:05Speaker 7: me one day, and I'll be dog gone if it didn't.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I ain't take no time off.
- 9:09Speaker 7: Go work at the Walmart, get me a job, go
- 9:12Speaker 7: back to Ford and big for my job back.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Hey, man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 9:18Speaker 7: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 9:22Speaker 7: hard work.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Your basket woven by God. What you tripping for?
- 9:28Speaker 7: You're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 9:33Speaker 7: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 9:36Speaker 7: got to bleed that God could do what he said
- 9:38Speaker 7: gonna do because he'dn't done it for others, He'll most
- 9:41Speaker 7: certainly do it for you. Be careful of these sayings
- 9:44Speaker 7: that's out here, that's aligned by losers and people to
- 9:48Speaker 7: justify why they are not succeeding. Don't apply this stuff
- 9:51Speaker 7: to your life, and it ain't got nothing to do
- 9:53Speaker 7: with you.
- 9:53Speaker 2: You're gonna mess yourself up. All right.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Okay, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention. God has
- 10:08Speaker 7: done it again. The arrival of a new day, the
- 10:12Speaker 7: fact that we are here present in it. What an
- 10:14Speaker 7: amazing gift. It is, what an honor. Make the best
- 10:19Speaker 7: of today. Okay, but start your day with gratitude. Tell
- 10:22Speaker 7: God thank you for everything he's done for you and
- 10:25Speaker 7: everything he's working on on your behalf. And remember, man,
- 10:28Speaker 7: as long as you got God, you're gonna be all right.
- 10:32Speaker 7: Those are my opening remarks, ladies. Jentimen, Shirley Strawberry calling
- 10:35Speaker 7: for real Mississippi Monica and nephew Tommy. How's everybody doing
- 10:44Speaker 7: for asking any questions? Anybody anything on your mind? Wonder
- 10:49Speaker 7: me get your show started the right way? Anybody other
- 10:53Speaker 7: than Tommy.
- 10:54Speaker 8: Well, let me just say that I wanted to say
- 10:59Speaker 8: congratulations since the earthquake he got married this past thirsdy.
- 11:03Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, BOAKEI boy, that's nice.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Good wedding, good wedding.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Good we good time.
- 11:14Speaker 7: Hey, man, you know how I met earthquake Mobile Alabama.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Earthquake came and knocked on my hotel door. Now, I
- 11:23Speaker 7: stayed at a hotel where you could see my door
- 11:26Speaker 7: from the parking lot. You know, it's one of them
- 11:29Speaker 7: a hotel and earthquake came and knocked on the door,
- 11:34Speaker 7: and he said, hey, man, my name is Earthquake. I'm
- 11:36Speaker 7: a comedian. I just want to get some advice from you.
- 11:40Speaker 7: That's how I met earthquake, and me and earthquake been
- 11:43Speaker 7: cool every since.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Many good dude, love quake. Funny too, Yeah, really nice.
- 11:50Speaker 1: What advice do you have for newly wed?
- 11:53Speaker 7: Oh? Well, it's only one piece of advice you'll ever need.
- 11:56Speaker 7: As a man, I can't give a woman no advice.
- 11:59Speaker 7: I don't know they side of it, but I do
- 12:00Speaker 7: know the man's side of it. So here's what I
- 12:03Speaker 7: say to every man that's married. There's only one thing
- 12:05Speaker 7: I can say to you. That one rule a man
- 12:08Speaker 7: needs to remember. You can be happy or you can
- 12:12Speaker 7: be right.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I love that.
- 12:14Speaker 1: It'sastic.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Just make your mind up every day which one you
- 12:17Speaker 7: want to be, and gone about your business.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It's stimpton you stay. You said that in front of
- 12:22Speaker 1: Denzel one day, Denzel Washington.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Yeah, man, we were on the boat and Paul Letter
- 12:29Speaker 7: and Marjor were over there talking, and so she said, Denzel,
- 12:34Speaker 7: y'all move over here a little bit closer.
- 12:37Speaker 2: He said, Now, I want to stay right here. I said, dead.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Listen to me, man, if we just moved.
- 12:42Speaker 7: Six we pea, I say, but me and you stay
- 12:49Speaker 7: right here.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Whatever the reason she wanted us to move.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Over, Yeah, it's it's peace over that if we stay
- 12:56Speaker 7: right he said. You know what, man, you're exactly right.
- 13:00Speaker 7: We just scootered our chairs over six feet. She would
- 13:02Speaker 7: say nothing else to them.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Priceless.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he says, six feet is peace. We
- 13:14Speaker 2: stay here. I want to move. First of all, we
- 13:18Speaker 2: wasn't on my boat.
- 13:20Speaker 7: I'm a guess I want to move, as Paul let
- 13:23Speaker 7: us say it, we move. I'm a guess. I'm already
- 13:27Speaker 7: out my chair and this I ain't moving. Now, come on, Dan,
- 13:31Speaker 7: come on me and you moving though, No, don't do this.
- 13:37Speaker 2: All right?

- 14:31Speaker 8: Here we.
- 14:35Speaker 7: Come to givel this morning in a most vocifious week,
- 14:43Speaker 7: we are of being restitutionized, Yeah, recognized, and now we's
- 14:51Speaker 7: galvanize as we bring forth the very arbitrary re season
- 15:01Speaker 7: for coming into unification. Let us begin with a word
- 15:08Speaker 7: from Deacon from the book. He will inform us on procrastination.
- 15:13Speaker 8: Go ahead, all right, all right, pastor now pastor this morning.
- 15:19Speaker 8: We have two books. But the first book is the
- 15:26Speaker 8: Book of Jefferson. Were if you go to the Book
- 15:32Speaker 8: of Jefferson and then verse chapter two, verse one, it said, well,
- 15:38Speaker 8: we're moving on up to the east side to a
- 15:45Speaker 8: de luxe apartment in the sky.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Stop right there.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we.
- 15:55Speaker 7: Hidden up. Now we moving away from the side we
- 16:03Speaker 7: was on, or to the east side.
- 16:06Speaker 2: That's right to a not.
- 16:08Speaker 7: A regular come on, not a king, not the queen,
- 16:15Speaker 7: but a deluxe apartment in the sky. That's a high ride,
- 16:21Speaker 7: read it says, bullbing on up to the east side.
- 16:25Speaker 8: We finally got a piece of the pile.
- 16:30Speaker 7: Stop right there. And we've been messing around, scrapping, scraping crumbs. No,
- 16:36Speaker 7: we got a piece or the pile.
- 16:38Speaker 8: Red fish, don't fry in the kitchen. Beans, don't burn
- 16:47Speaker 8: on the grill. Took a whole lot of trying just
- 16:53Speaker 8: to get up that hill.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Stop right there, you fish, your fry in the kitchen. Beans,
- 17:04Speaker 7: don't burn on the grill. Yeah, but you have no idea.
- 17:10Speaker 7: I don't understand the hell I went through. Come on
- 17:14Speaker 7: here trying to get up this hell?
- 17:17Speaker 4: You read?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Now we up in the big league.
- 17:23Speaker 7: Stop right there. Now we in the big league. We
- 17:26Speaker 7: ain't in the minors no more.
- 17:28Speaker 8: Read getting our turn at bad Stop right there, our
- 17:33Speaker 8: turn it.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Throw it other day.
- 17:42Speaker 2: As long as we live.
- 17:44Speaker 8: It's you and me, baby, And ain't nothing wrong with that.
- 17:51Speaker 7: Stop right down. I told you when I met you Oh,
- 17:55Speaker 7: I need you.
- 17:57Speaker 2: That's right.
- 17:58Speaker 7: If I can get you, we can get off the
- 18:00Speaker 7: west side, we head on over to the east side.
- 18:02Speaker 7: If I got you, or we can get a deluxe
- 18:06Speaker 7: apartment in the sky.
- 18:08Speaker 2: That's all I had.
- 18:10Speaker 7: You, and we ain't wearing about frying a fish in
- 18:15Speaker 7: the kitchen and burning or.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Beans on the grill.
- 18:21Speaker 7: But along is I got a you girl, me and
- 18:26Speaker 7: you would have found a way to get.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Up that hill.
- 18:29Speaker 7: I finally gotta turn that back.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I just snapped the ball over the wall. There's a
- 18:34Speaker 2: home run.
- 18:35Speaker 7: I'm just trying to know, girl that if it wasn't
- 18:38Speaker 7: for you, I never would have.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Bet we out I looking about it.
- 18:43Speaker 8: You brought that one now right past it that were
- 18:44Speaker 8: gonna switch bucks for a moment, were gonna switch bucks
- 18:48Speaker 8: if you would go to the book of Gilli getting
- 18:52Speaker 8: past it, it says just sit right back and you hear.
- 18:57Speaker 1: A tail, a tail of a faithful trip.
- 19:02Speaker 2: That stopped right there from.
- 19:05Speaker 8: Uh.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I'm about to tell you something now, okay, now make
- 19:11Speaker 2: it for some say it's a.
- 19:13Speaker 7: Tale, but it's nothing but the truth that started from
- 19:20Speaker 7: this tropic port aboard this tiny ship.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Stop right there. We was on boat too small.
- 19:30Speaker 7: I learned about boats from an old man one time.
- 19:37Speaker 7: He said, I done been on a boat too small before,
- 19:41Speaker 7: but I ain't never been.
- 19:43Speaker 2: On one that's too big.
- 19:45Speaker 7: We started from a tropical port on a tiny ship.
- 19:50Speaker 7: Had just like living in a tiny house. You can
- 19:52Speaker 7: brag about it all you want, but you don't good
- 19:55Speaker 7: a wear. You wanted to regular size house. You ain't
- 19:58Speaker 7: had the money. Now you're trying to justify why are
- 20:00Speaker 7: you sitting there next to the tarlet frying fish.
- 20:07Speaker 8: The mate was a mighty sailing man, the skipper braving shore.
- 20:12Speaker 8: Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Stop right there.
- 20:19Speaker 7: We we count people on the boat, the skipper, the captain,
- 20:26Speaker 7: three other people. Yeah, that five right there, But it
- 20:33Speaker 7: was more than that because they left out some people.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Because the house was two people, Ginger was one man,
- 20:41Speaker 7: was another one. You had skipper and Gilligan, and you
- 20:44Speaker 7: had the professor. That's seven people. They ain't even told
- 20:47Speaker 7: the story. They said at the beginning, I'm gonna tell.
- 20:49Speaker 2: You a tale.
- 20:50Speaker 8: Sound like a lot of me. The wall started getting rough.
- 20:56Speaker 8: The tiny ship was pus.
- 20:59Speaker 7: Stop right there, key word tiny ship, rough weather toss
- 21:03Speaker 7: everybody in trouble. We gonna put a pin in it.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Allo that hole in the boat. Everybody went down and
- 21:09Speaker 7: ended up on the island somewhere. Had some years of
- 21:12Speaker 7: TV on a whole show about an island save five
- 21:15Speaker 7: white people right there. Not only wasn't no black people
- 21:18Speaker 7: own there because the black people said, we ain't getting
- 21:19Speaker 7: on the little tiny shoe.
- 21:22Speaker 1: What your word today?
- 21:25Speaker 10: Faster?
- 21:25Speaker 1: I love ginger too, all right?
- 21:28Speaker 9: Coming up next, it is asked the COLO, our chief
- 21:31Speaker 9: Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:42Speaker 11: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,
- 21:45Speaker 11: planning and hard work to get in the door.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Didn't make that house a home.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Now all that effort has built something hugely valuable.

- 23:50Speaker 9: was trying to call his wife and let her know
- 23:53Speaker 9: he was there. Do I owe his wife a detailed explanation?
- 23:58Speaker 7: Well, obviously the part she's leaving out in the letter
- 24:03Speaker 7: is it created a major problem. Yeah, Now she's trying
- 24:09Speaker 7: to figure out. Do I owe her an explanation? It
- 24:14Speaker 7: might help him out if you said, listen here that.
- 24:18Speaker 7: But I don't understand this. Dude, though, you set yourself
- 24:22Speaker 7: up for this stupidity. Ain't no male coworker could have

- 24:48Speaker 1: What should he have done?
- 24:51Speaker 7: He should have just ubert or got one of his
- 24:54Speaker 7: dudes to drop him off. You got this woman dropping
- 24:57Speaker 7: you off your wife's job, sitting in the parking lot,
- 25:00Speaker 7: and and other people saw it. You can't be that
- 25:04Speaker 7: stupid man.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Well he was, and in this instance he was.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Workers stupid dog. You set yourself up for that.
- 25:17Speaker 7: My daddy's best advice with me was son, don't give
- 25:20Speaker 7: him a pean of sticky.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Right of course?
- 25:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right.
- 25:27Speaker 9: Moving on to Reggie and Brooklyn, Reggie writes, I saw
- 25:30Speaker 9: an old buddy of mine and he said he is
- 25:32Speaker 9: down on his luck and he's had a lot of setbacks.
- 25:35Speaker 9: He threw shade at me by saying I looked like
- 25:38Speaker 9: quote money. I asked if I could help them in
- 25:41Speaker 9: any way, and he got offended.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Why did he get offended by that?
- 25:46Speaker 7: Don't know? I don't you know, Hey, man, I'm down
- 25:52Speaker 7: on my Look, man, a lot of bad stuff isn't happening.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Well, can I help you anyway?
- 25:59Speaker 4: Man?
- 26:00Speaker 7: See you looking good, man, you look like money. So
- 26:03Speaker 7: you say, hey man, anything can I help you in
- 26:06Speaker 7: any way anyway?
- 26:08Speaker 8: Oh?
- 26:08Speaker 1: Oh oh, oh, what you're trying to say?
- 26:13Speaker 2: Oh I look like I need help?
- 26:15Speaker 7: Now you said you need help, so you're down on
- 26:18Speaker 7: your look and anything. So what you want him to do?
- 26:21Speaker 7: You should have just lied to him. Yeah, man, you
- 26:23Speaker 7: look like money too.
- 26:25Speaker 9: Huh yeah wow.
- 26:28Speaker 7: Well you know he could be offended, you know, but
- 26:31Speaker 7: I don't. I don't so what hey bro, hey bro,
- 26:34Speaker 7: didn't mean to offend you, my bad manah, and then
- 26:38Speaker 7: just tell him that send him a text, Hey man
- 26:40Speaker 7: the other day, seemed like you were little offended. My apologies, man,
- 26:44Speaker 7: I didn't mean to offend you, man, my bad man.
- 26:48Speaker 7: Good luck with everything. And then dot dot dot don't
- 26:54Speaker 7: ask me for sugar, honey ice the little dudeo with
- 27:01Speaker 7: mooji and just gone with.
- 27:09Speaker 2: The little eyes on it and everything. I can't stand there.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Okay, something else besides that, all right?
- 27:19Speaker 10: I know?
- 27:20Speaker 9: Last one. This is from Lucretia in Chicago. Lucretia writes,
- 27:24Speaker 9: I was intimate with a guy from my past. We
- 27:27Speaker 9: hooked back up and it just happened. He told my
- 27:30Speaker 9: friend that the sex was cool, but he'd never be
- 27:33Speaker 9: with me because I snore. I think there's a lot
- 27:37Speaker 9: more to it. Does snoring really turn men off like that?
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, he just told you did.
- 27:44Speaker 7: She didn't want to believe. But you don't know how
- 27:46Speaker 7: bad you snoring that? You really don't. You need to
- 27:50Speaker 7: wake up and you in here till what it's like?
- 27:52Speaker 7: He can't believe he slept with you. Yeah, see you
- 27:56Speaker 7: you snoring like a man. Now, he questioned hisself, who
- 28:01Speaker 7: did I just sleep with?
- 28:03Speaker 1: What does it sound like like that part.
- 28:15Speaker 8: They need to sleep back?
- 28:17Speaker 2: You're too cute for this?
- 28:24Speaker 7: Yeah, you and you need a machine. Yeah you probably
- 28:31Speaker 7: chest heavy too, You need a machine.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 9: So that's what he told his friend. He couldn't be
- 28:39Speaker 9: with her because she snoring. She thinks it's something else.
- 28:42Speaker 2: No, no, it's that.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But if you love someone and they snore, does that doesn't.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Ain't in love with it? We can't fall in love
- 28:50Speaker 2: with nobody like that.
- 28:52Speaker 13: But wait a minute, now, you say you say all
- 28:57Speaker 13: the time on the show to women, don't throw away
- 28:59Speaker 13: a good man.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yeah that is because of that little little bit stuff.
- 29:03Speaker 7: Don't throw away a good man because he snowed. But
- 29:05Speaker 7: We're not gonna be with no woman that snowed that
- 29:07Speaker 7: like that.
- 29:10Speaker 1: If she was like a bear, then she's just.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Out and and we go to bend every night. This
- 29:16Speaker 2: is something you do.
- 29:20Speaker 1: But she can put up with it from.
- 29:22Speaker 13: You, right if he snored, If it was the other
- 29:25Speaker 13: way around you, you would tell her, don't throw away
- 29:29Speaker 13: a good man because he snores.
- 29:31Speaker 2: You would tell her to get him some help.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I'm ready to say, yeah, he doesn't make the rules.
- 29:35Speaker 7: Get him some help in the world. Now he'd already
- 29:38Speaker 7: told hers because she snored. She thank, it's something else.
- 29:41Speaker 9: It's that that's not sexy.
- 29:48Speaker 1: It's not sexy.
- 29:50Speaker 7: He wasn't with you before all lover, it was up.
- 29:53Speaker 7: You broke up before, you ran up into it again.
- 29:56Speaker 7: You had sex again. It just happened. He told a
- 29:58Speaker 7: friend he could never be with because you snaw. He
- 30:01Speaker 7: broke up with you before. But we can have sick
- 30:04Speaker 7: We just can't go to fleet. We have second case,
- 30:08Speaker 7: spend the nights.
- 30:11Speaker 1: No as we lay going on here.
- 30:13Speaker 7: Huh hey, we have four blown relationship. But you have
- 30:16Speaker 7: got to go home. See you tomorrow.
- 30:23Speaker 1: That's terrible.
- 30:25Speaker 2: It is all right.
- 30:27Speaker 9: Guys coming up at the top of the hour, we'll
- 30:29Speaker 9: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 30:33Speaker 9: listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. Well, Steve, we know you
- 30:41Speaker 9: spoke of the fifth Annual Investments this past Saturday in Atlanta.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Wow five, This time goes by so fast.
- 30:49Speaker 9: You and Charlemagne did a roundtable discussion, and I'm sure
- 30:52Speaker 9: that was great, but that's not what we want.
- 30:54Speaker 1: To talk about.
- 30:54Speaker 9: We want to talk about what you had on blue Cheese.
- 31:00Speaker 9: You were like this monochromatic peach suit and a silk Yes,
- 31:06Speaker 9: I saw so fly.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I mean really, Steve, you heard him.
- 31:10Speaker 9: I believe you heard him at the fifth Annual Investments.
- 31:13Speaker 1: This year, you've been training on social media.
- 31:16Speaker 9: The commenters gave you a lot of respect as the
- 31:18Speaker 9: og of man's fashion.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Do you enjoy you? You like that?
- 31:22Speaker 7: How do you?
- 31:23Speaker 1: How are we feeling that?
- 31:25Speaker 7: Yes?
- 31:26Speaker 1: There was.
- 31:32Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 31:33Speaker 1: He brought up some curtains made super fly, the mom.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I'm your daddy on somewe me, I'm your friend.
- 31:50Speaker 9: Your team, you were get in love the major love
- 31:53Speaker 9: man you.
- 31:56Speaker 2: It was.
- 31:58Speaker 7: First of all, the speech was great with Charlemagne because
- 32:02Speaker 7: I read respect for him. Yeah, you know, he brought
- 32:06Speaker 7: up a story that I had forgotten when he first
- 32:08Speaker 7: came to by Wretch years ago before I had this
- 32:12Speaker 7: my other Wretch.
- 32:15Speaker 2: He was going to release his.
- 32:17Speaker 7: First book and he said the title of the book
- 32:19Speaker 7: was like f you something something.
- 32:22Speaker 10: F you.
- 32:24Speaker 7: Okay, yeah, he told me this. We was riding on
- 32:27Speaker 7: the Polaris and I looked off and then I said,
- 32:30Speaker 7: what's your name book? And he said it again. I said, no, man,
- 32:35Speaker 7: We're not no man, we're nothing to do. We're not
- 32:38Speaker 7: doing that. And he told the story how I talked
- 32:40Speaker 7: to him out the name of the book, and then
- 32:41Speaker 7: the book made the New York Times Bestselling this because
- 32:44Speaker 7: I just had to talk to I know, I know you, Mad,
- 32:47Speaker 7: I know you, and I know you.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Want to say this, but listen to me.
- 32:57Speaker 7: Yeah but yeah but you know yeah yeah yeah, yeah
- 32:59Speaker 7: yeah yeah. So we had a good, good conversation.
- 33:02Speaker 13: Jules guys dropping knowledge at the investment.
- 33:05Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, from from two perspectives, you know, like
- 33:09Speaker 7: he's younger than me, so but he still knew that
- 33:13Speaker 7: who we were in radio. But people can't do what
- 33:16Speaker 7: we used to do because too many eyeballs.
- 33:20Speaker 2: You know, I took it.
- 33:21Speaker 7: I took my perspective and just said, hey, listen, man,
- 33:24Speaker 7: because of the revolution of technology and social media.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I was famous before phone camera, so I was all
- 33:31Speaker 2: of that.
- 33:31Speaker 7: But now, man, you can't make a mistake. And I
- 33:35Speaker 7: just asked the culture. I said, I can't control the
- 33:39Speaker 7: culture because I'm too old. I said, in a in
- 33:43Speaker 7: a in a, I'm a year and a half away
- 33:45Speaker 7: from being seventy. And then I stopped and said, look,
- 33:48Speaker 7: I know, I know you can.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I know you can't. I know what you're thinking.
- 33:57Speaker 7: Him creator what Yeah, anyway, And I asked them to
- 34:02Speaker 7: start taking better care of each other because as a culture,
- 34:06Speaker 7: we are the only ones who destroy each other the
- 34:09Speaker 7: way we do online. Nobody else goes after each other
- 34:13Speaker 7: like we do. And if they can get that part
- 34:16Speaker 7: of the culture together, we could be so much greater
- 34:20Speaker 7: because we have the power to make each other great,
- 34:23Speaker 7: but we use that power to take each other down.
- 34:27Speaker 7: I've never seen anything like what we do to one
- 34:31Speaker 7: another on social media, and I ask them to just
- 34:35Speaker 7: be mindful of it.
- 34:36Speaker 2: And they are these this is the culture that can
- 34:38Speaker 2: change that.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I can't change.
- 34:40Speaker 7: Anybody gonna listen to me. I ain't gonna post enough,
- 34:45Speaker 7: but they will listen to you. All who are the
- 34:48Speaker 7: current culture drivers. I'm on the other end of the culture.
- 34:54Speaker 7: I get a lot of respect when I go places.
- 34:56Speaker 7: That's Steve, that's the OG, that's O g Man. He
- 35:00Speaker 7: he dropped, he been in the game.
- 35:01Speaker 2: You the blueprint.
- 35:02Speaker 7: I got all of that, thank you very much. But
- 35:05Speaker 7: who can currently change your culture now to young people today?
- 35:08Speaker 7: And you all have got to start. And I tried
- 35:11Speaker 7: to tell them, I said, listen, podcasts are dangerous. I said, y'all,
- 35:15Speaker 7: everybody don't need a podcast because what's happening now is
- 35:18Speaker 7: because you don't have the constraints that we have on
- 35:21Speaker 7: regular radio of F and C. You all get on
- 35:24Speaker 7: these podcasts and think, because you're on the podcast, it's
- 35:27Speaker 7: a new form of freedom. But that podcast affects your brand. Yes,
- 35:33Speaker 7: you are still a part of your brand. Whether you're
- 35:36Speaker 7: on somebody's podcast or you got a podcast, it will
- 35:40Speaker 7: affect your regular life. Saying Charlemagne tried to give me
- 35:45Speaker 7: say some crazy mess yesterday. You go with that podcast
- 35:49Speaker 7: mass but.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You say crazy stuff but you anyway, yeah, yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Yeah, my problem is surely and call it. I can't. Oh,
- 36:03Speaker 2: I be willing to say plenty of stuff.
- 36:05Speaker 13: No, no, not that, but that goes to what you're
- 36:10Speaker 13: saying about your brand and people rooting for you, and
- 36:12Speaker 13: people are actually wanting you to win.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I think when you tease about Shirley and I saying,
- 36:18Speaker 1: you know you can't say that.
- 36:19Speaker 13: You can't do that because we don't want to see
- 36:21Speaker 13: you your brand canceled or destroyed.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Over right.
- 36:27Speaker 1: We're not those people that work for you to say, yeah,
- 36:30Speaker 1: say that, Yeah, you do what you want. No, no, no, no,
- 36:33Speaker 1: we know it's a cancel culture.
- 36:34Speaker 2: They know that. No, I an't hear you too much.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Yeah that these two bird dogs right here, they play
- 36:44Speaker 2: bird dogs. You know that that dog you go out
- 36:47Speaker 2: and spot them birds hunting.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I don't like it. I kind of just sit there.
- 36:52Speaker 7: And point, and all of a sudden the bird flying,
- 36:54Speaker 7: then you shoot it. They go out there and see
- 36:56Speaker 7: all that trouble and go no no, not because we'll
- 37:01Speaker 7: discuss something like on a commercial break and I say, well,
- 37:04Speaker 7: I come back, I'm gonna say this, and there go.
- 37:06Speaker 1: No no no, all right, all right, all right.
- 37:13Speaker 9: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, ICE had
- 37:16Speaker 9: seen an increase in job applicants over the past two weeks.
- 37:19Speaker 9: We'll talk about it right after this you're listening Steve
- 37:24Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:29Speaker 11: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving, planning,
- 37:32Speaker 11: and hard work to get in the door. Then make

- 37:37Speaker 11: something hugely valuable. Equity is the portion of your home

- 38:05Speaker 9: over one hundred thousand applications to join its ranks in
- 38:09Speaker 9: the past two weeks, making this an unprecedented response to
- 38:13Speaker 9: their recruitment campaign. The Defend the Homeland campaign has relaxed
- 38:18Speaker 9: the age limits and now accepts applicants as young as
- 38:22Speaker 9: eighteen years old, and they also welcome retirees. Wow, so
- 38:27Speaker 9: if you're eighteen or if you've retired, you can join

- 38:38Speaker 9: hiring ten thousand new staff and offers incentives like fifty
- 38:42Speaker 9: thousand dollars signing bonuses and student loan forgiveness.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Wow, oh that didn't get cut. Yeah, that's amazing. Fifty
- 38:51Speaker 1: thousand dollars in signing bonuses to join ICE.
- 38:54Speaker 7: What somebody go mess around sign I'm gonna get that book.
- 38:56Speaker 7: That's all I'm telling you. Right now, you're going to
- 38:58Speaker 7: set them run up on the wrong person. They ain't
- 39:01Speaker 7: going back today, not today.
- 39:03Speaker 2: It's going to happen, not today.
- 39:05Speaker 7: But you know, this is all a part of Project
- 39:07Speaker 7: twenty twenty five. This is also part of the whole
- 39:10Speaker 7: Make America Great Again. I don't know why we don't
- 39:13Speaker 7: understand what Make America Great Again actually represented it. It
- 39:18Speaker 7: was to take this country back to a time where
- 39:21Speaker 7: it was more comfortable for a certain type of people
- 39:24Speaker 7: to live here. They had gotten extremely uncomfortable with the
- 39:28Speaker 7: way they were having to live, slowly becoming a minority,
- 39:32Speaker 7: things of that nature, feeling it as though too much
- 39:35Speaker 7: was going on that they had no control over. The
- 39:38Speaker 7: Make America Great Again campaign is designed to get America
- 39:43Speaker 7: back to a point where they were in more of control.
- 39:48Speaker 7: So look Let's get rid of black history in schools.
- 39:53Speaker 7: Let's stop stop teaching that blacks made a contribution to
- 39:57Speaker 7: this country. Let's stop that so we can stop having
- 40:01Speaker 7: to feel what we did. We want to forget what
- 40:05Speaker 7: was done. That will never be reparations. We can stop
- 40:08Speaker 7: asking for that. They're not gonna give us money. They
- 40:13Speaker 7: won't even let you have your own history. How they
- 40:15Speaker 7: gonna give you some money. The Make America Great Again
- 40:19Speaker 7: campaign is designed to make a certain group of people
- 40:23Speaker 7: the Magabase feel comfortable, but it is extended beyond the magabase.
- 40:30Speaker 7: It is extended into the Republican Party in terms of
- 40:34Speaker 7: senators and congressmen. They are so in fear of Donald
- 40:38Speaker 7: Trump that they be into his will on everything. Everything
- 40:43Speaker 7: he wants to pass. They will pass.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Everything, and there no one is standing up to him,
- 40:49Speaker 2: no one. It is a party.
- 40:54Speaker 7: I'm talking about the representatives, not the people who call

- 55:32Speaker 9: Subject they want equal treatment. They're Stephen Shirley. I'm in
- 55:36Speaker 9: my late forties and my sister in law is my
- 55:38Speaker 9: best friend. My brother is cheating on her and she
- 55:41Speaker 9: found out from their six year old son. I was
- 55:44Speaker 9: keeping their son, and we went to visit my mother,
- 55:46Speaker 9: his grandmother. Well, my stupid brother had his girlfriend over
- 55:51Speaker 9: there having a fish fry in the backyard. My mother
- 55:54Speaker 9: was in the house mad as heck, but my dad
- 55:57Speaker 9: was outside with them because the woman has a really
- 55:59Speaker 9: nice boy.
- 56:00Speaker 1: My nephew didn't see the woman.
- 56:02Speaker 9: But my mother was so upset that she unleashed a
- 56:04Speaker 9: rant and the boy heard it from the other room.
- 56:07Speaker 9: He could not wait to tell his mom, and she
- 56:10Speaker 9: called me and lit into me about it. I told
- 56:13Speaker 9: her that I was clueless, and she didn't believe me.
- 56:16Speaker 9: My brother blames me for bringing his son over to
- 56:19Speaker 9: our parents home. My brother ended up moving in with
- 56:23Speaker 9: my parents temporarily and continued to date this side chick
- 56:26Speaker 9: even though he was trying to work things out with
- 56:29Speaker 9: his wife. I am stuck in the middle because he
- 56:32Speaker 9: has me counseling the side chick, begging her to be
- 56:35Speaker 9: patient while he figures out how to leave his wife.
- 56:38Speaker 9: He's not leaving his wife, and I want to tell
- 56:40Speaker 9: his side chick that, but that would be even messier.
- 56:44Speaker 9: The side chicks want the side chick wants equal treatment
- 56:47Speaker 9: as his wife.
- 56:48Speaker 1: His wife wants it all.
- 56:50Speaker 9: If he wants to go back home, she wants a
- 56:52Speaker 9: new ring and a recommitment ceremony with a big, fancy honeymoon.
- 56:57Speaker 1: The side chick said, if she's going to stay.
- 56:59Speaker 9: With him, wants a commitment ring and a big vacation
- 57:02Speaker 9: to a romantic island to prove he's all hers. I
- 57:06Speaker 9: told him he's in way too deep and he needs
- 57:09Speaker 9: to get his affairs in order. I've been living with
- 57:12Speaker 9: this guilt for almost a year. My therapist said I
- 57:15Speaker 9: should come clean and be honest with both women. Should
- 57:18Speaker 9: I do this to my brother?
- 57:20Speaker 1: Okay? No, no, don't do this to your brother, okay,
- 57:25Speaker 1: but you.
- 57:25Speaker 9: Got to look at what it's doing to you, and
- 57:28Speaker 9: way more importantly, you can't do this to yourself.
- 57:31Speaker 1: You just can't.
- 57:32Speaker 9: You got to get out of the middle of this.
- 57:34Speaker 9: This is a mess, and this has nothing to do
- 57:36Speaker 9: with you. You're not cheating on anyone. You innocently took
- 57:40Speaker 9: your nephew to see his grandparents, and now you're getting
- 57:43Speaker 9: it from all sides. Your brother's mad at you, your
- 57:46Speaker 9: bestie's mad at you, and the side chick even has
- 57:48Speaker 9: something to say, and she shouldn't have anything to say about.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Any of this.
- 57:53Speaker 1: It's amazing to me, though, that a six year old, a.
- 57:56Speaker 9: Six year old little boy and wait to tell his
- 58:01Speaker 9: mom about the side chick. I mean, he must be
- 58:03Speaker 9: really advanced, because when we were kids, you know, we
- 58:06Speaker 9: constantly heard the phrase stay out of grown folks us.
- 58:10Speaker 1: But his mom probably put him up to it. I
- 58:12Speaker 1: don't know.
- 58:14Speaker 9: Listen, you've got to start blaming yourself in all of
- 58:17Speaker 9: this and stop letting your brother punk you, and his
- 58:21Speaker 9: side chick and his wife, your bestie, they're all using you.
- 58:24Speaker 9: You got to stand up for yourself, tell them all
- 58:28Speaker 9: to kiss your behind.
- 58:29Speaker 1: You could have.
- 58:29Speaker 9: You had a choice, kiss your behind, tell them to
- 58:32Speaker 9: work it out, and tell them to leave it, leave
- 58:34Speaker 9: you out of it.
- 58:34Speaker 1: You can tell one, You could tell them one of
- 58:36Speaker 1: those or all of those.
- 58:38Speaker 9: All it is is misplaced anger on the wife's part
- 58:42Speaker 9: and trying to place blame on the brother's part, and
- 58:45Speaker 9: trying to get something out of it on the side
- 58:47Speaker 9: chicks part. I mean, your brother's manage you, yet he's
- 58:50Speaker 9: the one cheating. Your best friend is managed you, although
- 58:52Speaker 9: it's her husband that's a fault here. I mean, I
- 58:56Speaker 9: think you should get you some business immediately, because clearly
- 58:59Speaker 9: you have none because you're in this. You gotta stop
- 59:02Speaker 9: feeling guilty and thinking you cause this and get on
- 59:05Speaker 9: with your life. I mean, you've been going through this
- 59:07Speaker 9: for a whole year now, feeling guilty. You're the one
- 59:10Speaker 9: that needs to get away. They need to all pay
- 59:12Speaker 9: for your trip, not them. They don't need to go anywhere.
- 59:16Speaker 9: And as far as your therapist goes, fire him. Whichever'
- 59:20Speaker 9: the one that gave you this bad advice about coming clean.
- 59:23Speaker 7: Steve excellent response. I think what you said is spot on.
- 59:30Speaker 7: I agree one thousand percent with everything you said. I
- 59:34Speaker 7: can't really add nothing to this except a very unique
- 59:39Speaker 7: perspective because there are.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Some lives being told any and that's where I come in.
- 59:48Speaker 1: I love it. Now.
- 59:50Speaker 7: This woman that wrote the letters is writing because she's
- 59:54Speaker 7: stuck in the middle. Obviously, I'm in my late parties
- 59:58Speaker 7: and my sister in law is my best friend.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Okay, there you go.
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: My brother's cheating on her, and she found out from
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: their six year old son.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: So the aunt was keeping her nephew.
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: Which is a six year old went by to visit
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: her mother with her nephew, which is the mother's grandson.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Your dumb brother.
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: Had his girlfriend over his mom and daddy house, having
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: a fish fry in the backyard. My mother was in
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: the house mad as heck, as most women would be,
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: but my dad was outside with him because the woman had.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: A really nice body. I don't know if that's the beast.
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: I think the daddy was out there because for her,
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: the daddy was just being the daddy. See the problem
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: in this letter is now you say your nephew didn't
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: see the woman, but your mother was upset and was written,
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: and the boy overheard in the other room and he
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: couldn't wait to go tell his mom and She called
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: me and lit into you about it, and I told
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: her you was clueless, and she didn't believe me.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Well, why would you take the boy, the nephew over to.
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: Your mother's house if you knew your brother was over
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: there with another woman. That's no way you would have
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: done that. Because you're a nice aunt. You wouldn't have
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: done that to the boy. But your dumb brother over there.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: You know what the problem with your brother is, He
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: got too much support for his BS.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: That's what's wrong. And when we come back, I'll explain it.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve.
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: Subject of today's Strawberry letter. They want equal treatment. We'll
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve

- 1:02:35Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: and finish up with your response the subjects they want
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: equal treatment.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, this is kind of crazy.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: This woman got a brother that's cheating, and she was
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: keeping the brother's son who is her nephews. Her best
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: friend is her brother's wife, which is her sister in law.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Go over to the house.
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: Her brother got a chick over there having a fish
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: fry in the mamma and daddy backyard.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: That's ignorant to begin with.
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: Now, the mama in the house mad as heck, But
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: you say your daddy was outside with him because the
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: woman got a really nice body. My nephew didn't see
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: the woman, but your mama was so upset she unleashed
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: the ranch.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: The little boy heard it. He couldn't wait to go
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: back home and tell his mama.
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: Your girlfriend, who is your best friend, the sister in
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: law to your brother's or brother's wife who was your
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: sister in law, and your best friend lit into you
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: because she thought you was in on her. You told
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: her you was clueless, and she didn't believe me. I
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: said before, why would you take the boy over to
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: the house and expose your nephew to some god? But
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: you had no idea. He was over here and you
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: didn't take the boy in the backyard. You he just
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: overheard the grandmother talking. So now what didn't happen? Because
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: it is your brother that ended up moving in with
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: your parents because he done got put out and he's
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: continued to date the side chick with the banging body,
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: even though he trying to work things out with his wife.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Now you say you're.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: Stuck in the middle because he got you counseling the
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: side chick, begging her to be patient while he figured out.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: How to leave his wife. Then you say he ain't
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: leaving his wife, And I want to tell the side
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: chick that, but that would be even messier.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: Your brother is the one that's a fault in this
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: whole thing, first of all, cheating on his wife. Second
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: of all, he took the side chick to his parents' house,
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: having a fish fry in the backyard, the daddy out
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: there supporting the son. And now he got you counseling
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: the side chick. The best way to do people who
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: bring BS to you is let them lay in.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: They b s get out of the support system business.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: You ain't.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: Don't ever help nobody do wrong unless you're a man.
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: Unless you're a man, and this is your boy, it
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: is our obligation to help you.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Whatever man, different rules.
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: If because I got news for you, Okay, now here
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: what okay? Hold on now, let me help you understand this.
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: If your girl gets in trouble, you gonna help her
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: because that's your cooling. Now, y'all don't ever talk about
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: that side of this. But y'all comes to each other's
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: rescue because.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: I've heard it. What does that have to do with
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: the letter nothing?
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: It's just don't get mad at me when I tell
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: you that the only way you're supposed to get involved
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: in this is if y'all was boys. You should stay
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: out of this because your best friend is your sister
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: in law. Right, so you definitely shouldn't be counseling the
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: side check because your brother got everybody involved in his BS.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Now, the side chick wants equal treatment as your wife.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Now listen to this.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: His wife won't it all If he wants to go
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: back home, she want a new ring and a recommitment
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: ceremony and a big fancy honeymoon. That ain't just to
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: show re commitment. She just really wants some stuff. She
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: didn't want some stuff really, because you're gonna take a
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: man back and do that. Knows this is some themes.
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: You're considering taking him back because you want him back,
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: but you want some themes with it. Recommitment, big o' ring,
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: fancy honeymoon. Yeah, but now here the problem is the
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: side chick said. If she gonna stay with him, she
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: want a commitment ring, a big vacation to a romantic
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: hollary to prove that he's all hers. I told him
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: he in way too deep and to get his a
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: fans in order. Let me explain to you what's wrong here.
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Your brother is telling both women the same thing. That's
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: what's wrong, yep. Because if he was telling them the truth,
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: both of them would might not be demanding the same thing.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: But he's telling both of them, I want to be
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: with you. Give me a minute to work this out.
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: Getting the divorce's difficult. Give me a minute. I'm working
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: this out. I gotta get this chick out my life.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: She tripping this with or nothing This wasn't even about her, right, Baby,
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: I want you because here what Bruh can't do. He
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: don't have the money for an apartment. That's why he'd
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: have had to move back in with his mom and daddy.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: Ain't no way in the hell. He got two rings
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: and he can go on two vacations.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: A honeymoon and a romantic getaway.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: So as soon as y'all quit supporting this BS, it's
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: gonna all come to a head.
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: You say you've been living with this guilt almost a year.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: That's because he got too much help. Your therapist says,
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: I should come clean and be honest with both women.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Your therapist is a woman.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Because the man would never say that.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Ain't no way.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: The only way a man would say that if he
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: wanted to sleep with you. Your therapist is a woman. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: and this ain't the time for that.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Yeah, all right?

- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Well, what do you have, sir? Supposed to be watching for?
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: What?
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: Are you?
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: Well? Listen if you want to listen. Okay, let me
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: just tell you. I took what happened in the pair weekend.
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: Me and my cousin Chris Jingen played dominoes. He won
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: six games. I want folk so that that's what happened
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: with boys. Yeah you care this sports girl?
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: Lie Jordan was outside with some friends. They played horse
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: and I brought I lowered the gold down because you
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: know they eighth grade. I lowered to go down, so
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: they were dunking. One little boys got his hand cut
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: on the rim when he was dunking.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Jordan won.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: Okay, that was out there playing the horse. Any sports
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: you want to throw anything I got playing sports for
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: you went.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: I was fishing the other day and uh, I lost
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: two good ones, two good ones and the worst sports.
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: I couldn't believe it. Man, I saw it too, that
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: bad boy had rolled. I said, boy, this is a
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: nice one right here. Had to wait on it, you know,
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: and lost that at the bank. Then I caught three
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: in a row, and then I lost another one because
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: when I set the hook, I snatched. And Shirley is
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: snoring me because that's you, because you don't want to
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: know what something like that call it.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Don't do that what.
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: Sports?
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: This is sports? We don't.
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: We don't care if y'all know what we're talking about.
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: Y'all don't know. Y'all don't know football basketball nowhere, so
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: we surely don't.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: In this past weekend preseason, I.
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: Tell you, I'm gonna tell you that right now. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: played golf. Listen, if you're playing golf, use an orange
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: or a lime green ball so you can find your ball.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: If you're not a good player. These are things that
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: you need.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: To I think the Bengals beat the Commanders. I think
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: they did, and then the Browns beat the Eagles in preseason,
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: which means absolutely nothing. Dan and Gabriel, who got his start,
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: was playing pretty well. Then he threw a pick six
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: last week?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: What were y'all doing? Sports?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Sports?
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: I went fishing again yesterday and Nord it was hot
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: as hell, so you do.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: It's fish.
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: But I got a new google aw straw hat that
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: has a big wide band on it, and I thought
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: it was pretty flashy till I went over on the
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: other side of the ranch and saw these workings and
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: all of them had the same head on.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: So you got mad.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Yeah, now I might looking like a worker. I thought.
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: They got a new black hockey playoff. I forgot his
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: name though, but that's something y'all should know about it.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: That's good.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: You're hurry back here. Junior Boo coming up at the
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: top of the hour. Thank you guys. As an adult,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: when should you move out of your parents' house? That
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: is the question.
- 1:12:42Speaker 9: When you're in Jay and Roanoke. We'll get into it
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:12:54Speaker 9: All right, Steve, So this is from Jay in Roanoke.
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: Jay says, I'm almost thirty and I lived with my parents.
- 1:12:59Speaker 9: My dad has a problem with me moving out, and
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: he also has a problem with my boyfriend staying with me.
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: When he comes to town. My boyfriend has to get
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: a hotel room. So it's a waste of money because
- 1:13:10Speaker 9: we have two extra guest rooms. My boyfriend said, my
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: dad is controlling and he wants me to get my
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: own place. I'm comfortable with my living arrangements, but my
- 1:13:20Speaker 9: boyfriend is getting tired of it.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: What do you suggest I do well.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: First of all, your father and his house makes the
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: rules period. He's uncomfortable with you moving out now you're thirty,
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: that you have an overprotected dad. Thirty, you should have
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: been gone unless you're in a certain culture where a
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: woman stays at the father's house until she marries. If
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: you're in a certain culture, then that's you're gonna have
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: to do that. Secondly, don't nobody give it what your
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: boyfriend thinks that your father is controlling because he can
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: see his way out the dough Because before your boyfriend
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: showed up, your father was holding it down.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: For you and your family the entire time.
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: So your boyfriend is ignorant for trying to say that
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: your father is controlling because he doesn't have a daughter yet,
- 1:14:16Speaker 7: so he can't possibly know what your father feels. So
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: now if he has to come and get a hotel,
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: if that's an expense he can't afford, then he can't
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: come visit. And your father has a rule that nobody
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: can come and sleep in his house unless you're married
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: to my daughter.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: And I'm pretty sure that's the rule.
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: So now, yeah, I'm not mad at that. Yeah, so
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: you can get off the dad and you should have
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: been gone technically.
- 1:14:50Speaker 9: Because she's thirty, but you know, a lot of thirty
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: for a lot of living with their parents. Now that's
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: too much of it.
- 1:14:58Speaker 8: But I think man gives a little bit more leeway
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: to his daughter than his absolutely for you mean.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: As far as staying at home at home, Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: A little bit more.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: Lee.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: My youngest son is twenty eight. He can't he's not
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: coming to my house.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: So when did you have to leave it?
- 1:15:15Speaker 10: What?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Eighteen? When you turned eighteen?
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: I left, seventeen, left I went to college when I
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: was seventeen. He told me work it out because that's it.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: That's what you had to do.
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: I think you realized after you come home a summer
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: after being in college. Have you come home a summer
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: and spend it with at your parents' house and your
- 1:15:35Speaker 8: daddy back in your in your face, saying you ain't
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: gonna be coming up in here, no middle, that's straight
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: right now. Once you once you hear that enough, you're like, okay,
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: I gotta get my host.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: And you're about that.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: Last weekend, I stayed out all night. I ain't even
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: making home.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Well this weekend, that's not going to happen in this house.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Not at this house.
- 1:15:59Speaker 8: This is no no.
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: When I flocked out of college, I had to stay
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: at home for six months when I flunked out of college.
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: But I got a job immediately for a motor company.
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: As soon as I had saved four checks, I was.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Out, Oh okay, all right, comfortable in the.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: No no no, he just said, the time you just
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: start lifting for something.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: That makes you uncomfortable. Yeah, your digs are number so you.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: As soon as I got.
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: My first check, I had to give my mom and
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: daddy one hundred and twenty five dollars.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: All right, A lot of words do that.
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: And don't touch that last piece of chicken on the
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: stove that belonged to your dad.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: I don't. But he had deals at our house because
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: it was his house, his work.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Wow, it's it is different now though.
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: Walk in the house and he said, fan just he
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: had a one of them fans that turn you just
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: have it on him in the heat of the summer,
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: you know that the fan that oscillates, you know, go
- 1:17:11Speaker 7: round the room, deeppress stop, it's just everybody else sitting
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: over to him and my mama coan the rest of us,
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: everybody else.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Without with our mouth open, panting like a doll.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Coming up.
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: At twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more of
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Right after this.
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So guys,
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: this might inspire you to take a few more golfing lessons.
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: A couple of weeks ago, champion golfer Scottie Scheffler won
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: the BMW Golf Tournament and he won a whopping at
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: three point six million dollars. Now his caddy, Yeah, that's
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: a lot of money.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: His cat.
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: He took home three hundred and sixty thousand dollars and
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: a new Rolex is part of his prize package. I'd
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: say that's pretty good for a day's work. So does
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: that excite you to maybe take a golf in a
- 1:18:12Speaker 9: day's shirt.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: That's about photos, not a day. It's more than that.
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: The caddies get there on Sunday before the tournament to
- 1:18:19Speaker 7: walk the course, we guide it, map it out. They
- 1:18:22Speaker 7: got to map it because everything got to go in
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: that little book. They can't use range finder, so he
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: got to mark all stuff. Then he got to walk
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: all the greens and know the modulations and everything. All
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: that stuff is in a book. And caddies get ten
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: percent of the purse when you win.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's why he got three hundred and sixty
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: thousand dollars.
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: And yeah, he come in a couple of days early
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: to get a practice round on the golf course. But
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: and then for all of that, he's weigh a lot
- 1:18:50Speaker 7: of money.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:52Speaker 9: Does it make you want to be a better golfer?
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: Take more lessons and step up your golfing game?
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: No, I'm not going to wear a quarter.
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: You're fitter, you can try all you want. You're not
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: finna win a professional golf tournament. You're shooting under par.
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: If I get a birdie, birdie, celebrate.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: All right, Well, congratulations to Scottie Scheffler and his caddy.

- 1:24:06Speaker 1: fun day crazy. Thank you guys for listening. We appreciate
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: your business for sure.
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: Steve Hey, here's my closing remarks today. I want to
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: remind everybody of something that's really important.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: You have got to take a chance. Period.
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: You have got to take risk. You have got to
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: put it on the line. You have got to step
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: out on faith. You cannot stand there and play it
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: safe your entire life. You cannot win playing safe. You
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: have got to step up to the plate and run
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: the risk of striking out. You've got to line up
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: on your mark and run the risk of getting beat
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: you have got to take a chance. Life has value
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: when it has chances in it. I know some people
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: who have played it safe their entire life. I went
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: to school with them. I know some people right now, man,
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: who stayed on the job that they did not enjoy,
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: to retire from it and now to be seeking part
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: time work because they can't make it on one third
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: of what they were already struggling on, because that's their
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: retirement pension. All because and he told me, hey man,
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: I just took the safe route. I wanted to be safe.
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: Oh man, I cannot tell you, man, the value in
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: taking a chance. Now, here's why most people don't take chances.
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: It is the fear of failure that freezes people to
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: take chances. Well, here's a problem with that. Fear is
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: the number one cause of failure because if you don't
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: attempt it, it cannot happen. And in the failed attempt,
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: in the never attempting, you have conceded yourself to defeat.
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: You gotta take chances, man, It's okay. And don't worry
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: about what the haters saying. Then they sayers they always
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: got something to say. Anyway, Well, you started that business.
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: How I see that didn't work out for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: you did. You started a business, it didn't work out,
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: it failed. But now guess what you know something? You
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: know something that they don't know. You know two things.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: You learned a valuable lesson of how to make a
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: business more successful because you failed at one. And secondly,
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: you know what it feels like to valiantly try. The
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: average person don't even know that.
- 1:27:02Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: I paraphrase this saying for a long time now, but
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: it's and I paraphrase it this way because it helps me.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: When I say it this way, the.
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: Credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena,
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: whose face is marred with dust, blood, sweat and tears,
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: not to those cold, intimid souls in the stands who
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: know neither victory nor defeat. And it's kind of what
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: I heard Denzel online the other day talking about people.
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: It's too much talking nowadays. People just talking. People got opinions,
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: Those who do do, those who can't don't. It's just
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: people just talking. Man, but have never made an attempt.
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: I would rather have attempted to be great than to
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: set there and settle for mediocrity. I promise you I will.
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: I will take the attempt to be great every single time.
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: Because here's the deal. If you aim for the moon
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: and you miss, you can still be amongst the stars.
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: But if you never shoot the shot, guess what that
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: bullet remains in your gun? You've hit nothing. How many
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: people do you know who are miserable right now in
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: their life, who have a go to a job that
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: they don't care for. And I'm not saying you have
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: to start a business to be successful, That's not what
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: I'm saying. But you should be doing what you were
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: born to do. You should make an attempt at living
- 1:28:29Speaker 7: in your gift before you leave this world.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: You have got to try. Listen.
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: I know that all you can do for tomorrow is plan, hope,
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: and aspire, but you know what the goal is to
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: see tomorrow. So when tomorrow gets here, what have you
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: done to aspire to accomplish to make your tomorrow better?
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: Give us this day, this is the Lord's prayer. Now
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: give us this day our daily bread.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Do you know what that means?
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: You're asking God to help you aller your steps and
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: do the things necessary today to make your day go well.
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: But understand something, everything you do today will have an effect.
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: On your tomorrow. If you do nothing today, what do
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: you think tomorrow has for you?
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: You know, it's so many ways people take these sayings
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: and they use it to their advantage to justify some mediocracy.
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: The Bible says faith without works is dead. You know
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: what that means.
- 1:29:35Speaker 7: That means you can have all the faith in the world.
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: I believe God can do this. I believe one day
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: I'll have this. I expire to become that. But if
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: you don't put no work behind it today, yo, tomorrow
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: ain't gonna have what you've been hoping for. You can
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: put all the faith in it you want to. If
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: you ain't gonna apply no work, man what you want,
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: but imply work. You gotta take a chance. You gotta
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: take ri You have got to take risks.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: Y'all. Life is valuable with risk.
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: There's learning, there's an experience gained in risk, but then
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: there's also the possibility that you will win and that
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: is worth the risk. All right, those are my closing
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: remarks today. Hope you got something from it. I hope
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: I touched somebody. If I didn't tune in tomorrow, God
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: Willie might have something.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: For you then.
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: But here's the big thing. Please talk to God today.
- 1:30:30Speaker 7: He would absolutely love to hear from me. And it
- 1:30:34Speaker 7: don't matter how long it's been. Start your relationship with God.
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: Have a conversation with He's avaluable.
