- 3:54Speaker 3: Funny, well On, MONDAY i flew back TO dc early
- 3:58Speaker 3: BECAUSE i was invited to go to a garden party
- 4:02Speaker 3: at The British ambassador's. Residence and the garden party included
- 4:05Speaker 3: The king And, queen and SO i, said all, right
- 4:07Speaker 3: this will be fun to, go uh and AND i
- 4:10Speaker 3: ended up inviting my Daughter. Caroline caroline is, eighteen she
- 4:13Speaker 3: turned eighteen just a couple of weeks. Ago, Ben you Know, caroline,
- 4:18Speaker 3: well there is almost no invitation at this stage in
- 4:22Speaker 3: life that can can can can make that that that
- 4:26Speaker 3: that my teenage daughter is particularly interested in going to
- 4:30Speaker 3: accept this and And, Caroline i'm, like, hey do you
- 4:32Speaker 3: want to come to a garden party with The king Of?
- 4:34Speaker 3: England and she's like, Yeah and so So caroline came,
- 4:39Speaker 3: up got a chance to visit with The.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Queen The queen was.
- 4:42Speaker 3: DELIGHTFUL i Introduced caroline to The, queen they shook, hands
- 4:45Speaker 3: they talked for a few, minutes and THEN i Introduced.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Caroline to The.
- 4:48Speaker 3: King and he was actually quite, charming and and and
- 4:52Speaker 3: they had had a conversation that ended up being being
- 4:54Speaker 3: captured captured online and and and going. Viral but but
- 4:59Speaker 3: but he asked, her, uh if she was having exams right,
- 5:03Speaker 3: now and she's got exams coming up in a.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Week she said, yeah and and and and then he
- 5:06Speaker 4: made a.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Joke he, said, uh he, said, well if if you,
- 5:11Speaker 3: fail you can blame, me WHICH i thought was really.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Funny that's a good, out that's a very good all.
- 5:16Speaker 1: RIGHT i gotta, say there's certain things you get to
- 5:19Speaker 1: do in your. Career taking your daughter and meet the,
- 5:21Speaker 1: king like you got to use that as a little
- 5:23Speaker 1: political capital down the road when she thinks you're not cool.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Again, look earning dad brownie points is not easy to.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Do but but that was really, fun and and and
- 5:33Speaker 3: AND i enjoyed the chance to have her meet the.
- 5:38Speaker 2: King what a great plus one by the, Way.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah like it's it's very very very cool to bring
- 5:43Speaker 3: your daughter and and then and you, know.
- 5:45Speaker 2: How much trouble are you in, though and hold, on
- 5:47Speaker 2: how much trouble are you in at home? There like?
- 5:48Speaker 2: YOU i did not even get the, invite so she
- 5:51Speaker 2: was all on board with.
- 5:52Speaker 4: This heidi did get the.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Invite heidi had to, work so So heidie actually said, no,
- 5:59Speaker 3: Okay and Actually catherine got the invite to And, catherine it's.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Interesting my eighteen year old thought it was really. Cool
- 6:06Speaker 3: my fifteen year old was, like, No i'm kind of,
- 6:08Speaker 3: busy that's all. Right and so So catherine said, No
- 6:10Speaker 3: so so she didn't.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Come that's.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Amazing so it was a family affair and it turned
- 6:14Speaker 1: into a daddy daughter.
- 6:15Speaker 4: DATE i love it was a daddy daughter. Day it was.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Awesome it was a lot of. Fun you.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Know The king's coming was important and, consequential AND i
- 6:26Speaker 3: actually Think President trump they had an arrival ceremony at
- 6:30Speaker 3: The White house where The president greeted The king and
- 6:33Speaker 3: The president laid out a little bit of why it
- 6:35Speaker 3: was important for the king to be, here and how
- 6:37Speaker 3: this is really one of the beginning moments of two
- 6:40Speaker 3: point fifty or our celebration of our nation's two hundred
- 6:43Speaker 3: and fiftieth. Anniversary give a listen To President trump explaining
- 6:46Speaker 3: why this visit right now is consequential here in.
- 6:50Speaker 5: The shadows of monuments To George Washington Thomas. Jefferson honoring
- 6:56Speaker 5: The british king might seem and ironic beginning to our
- 7:01Speaker 5: celebration of two hundred and fifty years Of american, independence
- 7:06Speaker 5: but in fact no tribute could be more. Appropriate long
- 7:10Speaker 5: Before americans had a nation or a, constitution we first
- 7:14Speaker 5: had a, culture a, character and a. Creed before we
- 7:19Speaker 5: ever proclaimed our. Independence americans carried within.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Us the rarest of gifts moral.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Courage and it came from a small but mighty kingdom
- 7:30Speaker 5: from across the. Sea for nearly two centuries before The,
- 7:35Speaker 5: revolution this land was settled and forged by men women
- 7:39Speaker 5: who bore in their souls the blood and noble spirit
- 7:43Speaker 5: of The. British here on a wild and untamed, continent
- 7:48Speaker 5: they set loose the Ancient english love of liberty and
- 7:52Speaker 5: The Great britain's distinctive sense of, glory, destiny and. Pride
- 7:56Speaker 5: and that's what it, is, glory, destiny and. Pride The
- 8:01Speaker 5: american patriots who pledged their lives to independence in seventeen
- 8:06Speaker 5: seventy six were the heirs to this majestic. Inheritance their
- 8:11Speaker 5: veins ran With Anglo saxon, courage their hearts beat with
- 8:16Speaker 5: An english faith in standing firm for what is, right
- 8:20Speaker 5: good and. True in recent, years we've often heard it
- 8:25Speaker 5: said That america is merely an. Idea but the cause
- 8:30Speaker 5: of freedom did not simply appear as an intellectual invention
- 8:36Speaker 5: of seventeen seventy. Six The american founding was the culmination
- 8:42Speaker 5: of hundreds of years of, thought, struggles, sweat, blood and
- 8:46Speaker 5: sacrifice on both sides of The. Atlantic fate true a
- 8:51Speaker 5: long arc from the meadow At runningmede to the streets
- 8:56Speaker 5: Of philadelphia that ran through the lives of people. Born
- 9:00Speaker 5: we've bread on The british code that no man should
- 9:03Speaker 5: be denied either justice or. Right american patriots today can
- 9:10Speaker 5: sing my country tis of the Sweet land of liberty
- 9:16Speaker 5: only because our colonial ancestors first Saying God save The.
- 9:23Speaker 1: King you, KNOW i got to say one of the
- 9:26Speaker 1: things that was really interesting about watching The president and
- 9:28Speaker 1: interacting with The king and The. Queen is that right?
- 9:32Speaker 1: Now there have been, politically tensions have been pretty. HIGH
- 9:35Speaker 1: i think everybody knows that With, england and there's been
- 9:39Speaker 1: a lot of frustration. There Certainly i'm one of THOSE
- 9:43Speaker 1: i think they should have stepped up in a different
- 9:44Speaker 1: way with what we're doing With. Iran but The president
- 9:48Speaker 1: also understood AND i thought it was incredibly just not just,
- 9:52Speaker 1: classy but also what leaders do to, say, hey we
- 9:56Speaker 1: don't always agree on, everything but we welcome. You we're
- 9:58Speaker 1: going to roll out the record carpet and we're going
- 10:01Speaker 1: to have grand conversations that hopefully will make things even
- 10:04Speaker 1: better moving. Forward and just listening to him talk, THERE
- 10:08Speaker 1: i think he did a phenomenal job with his.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Speeches, yeah, LOOK i.
- 10:12Speaker 3: AGREE i think The president's remarks were really well, written
- 10:15Speaker 3: they were well, delivered they were. Important there is no
- 10:18Speaker 3: doubt the special, relationship which is the term that has
- 10:21Speaker 3: been used for a long long time to describe the
- 10:24Speaker 3: relationship between The United states and The United, kingdom it's
- 10:27Speaker 3: strained right. Now the UK's decision not to HELP us And,
- 10:32Speaker 3: iran and in fact to BLOCK us from Using british military.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Bases that has put real strain on that relationship and
- 10:40Speaker 3: it's going to be real strained with. Consequences but at
- 10:43Speaker 3: the end of the, day that's a decision From Keir,
- 10:45Speaker 3: starmer The Prime. Minister that's Not King charles who made that.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Decision AND i think The king was here to try
- 10:54Speaker 3: to Remind americans and maybe remind The british as, well
- 11:00Speaker 3: of the centuries and not just two hundred and fifty,
- 11:02Speaker 3: years but centuries before, that of intertwined history and our
- 11:08Speaker 3: rights and. Liberties we didn't just invent the concepts of
- 11:15Speaker 3: individual liberty and government that are reflected The declaration Of
- 11:19Speaker 3: independence two hundred and fifty years, ago that are reflected
- 11:22Speaker 3: in The. Constitution many of those ideas originated In. England
- 11:28Speaker 3: originated The Magna carta was, Critical The English bill Of
- 11:31Speaker 3: rights was critical great thinkers Like John locke who laid
- 11:35Speaker 3: out the reasoning behind the natural rights of, life, liberty
- 11:39Speaker 3: and property that became the foundation for much of The american.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Experience and in, Fact King charles when he was addressing Addressing,
- 11:50Speaker 3: CONGRESS i think he did something very eloquent and elegant
- 11:55Speaker 3: in that he talked About he, said, look there's tension
- 11:58Speaker 3: right now between our two. Nations but he, said we've
- 12:01Speaker 3: always had, tension and he said when we, started in
- 12:04Speaker 3: fact two hundred and fifty years, ago we had tension
- 12:07Speaker 3: that resulted in a. War but it was. Interesting, yeah
- 12:11Speaker 3: he made a. Point he, said the principles that animated
- 12:15Speaker 3: The American, revolution and in particular he singled out taxation without.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Representation he, said those were principles that we had developed
- 12:25Speaker 3: and that were integral to. Us now we, disagreed meaning
- 12:28Speaker 3: we The british disagreed on whether they applied to the,
- 12:32Speaker 3: colonies but literally the grounds upon which we declared independence
- 12:39Speaker 3: were grounds that were integral to The british constitutional history
- 12:44Speaker 3: and understanding of. Rights and in, fact when The Supreme
- 12:47Speaker 3: court is interpreting The constitution and Our bill Of, rights
- 12:50Speaker 3: and much of Our bill of rights mirrors at, times
- 12:52Speaker 3: even word for word The English bill Of, rights often
- 12:57Speaker 3: The Supreme court will look, to for, Example blackstone and
- 13:00Speaker 3: looked To english common law for how these rights were
- 13:03Speaker 3: understood hundreds of years Before america. Existed so that intertwined
- 13:10Speaker 3: history is really. Important AND i do like The President
- 13:14Speaker 3: trump's pointing out like this is a great way to
- 13:16Speaker 3: celebrate two hundred and fifty years by reminding us of
- 13:19Speaker 3: big things that. Matter i'm gonna say something else that surprised.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Me King charles is, funny.
- 13:27Speaker 1: AND i was gonna say His either he's funny or
- 13:30Speaker 1: his speech writers are. Unbelievable it may be a combination of.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Both BUT i also, think like, man after seeing, HIM
- 13:39Speaker 1: i liked him a lot more after watching this visit
- 13:43Speaker 1: THAN i ever did, before just BECAUSE i always thought
- 13:45Speaker 1: he was kind of a, stiff you, know prim and,
- 13:48Speaker 1: proper kind of you, know awkward. Guy that is not
- 13:52Speaker 1: how he came across on this trip at. All in,
- 13:54Speaker 1: FACT i remember when he came back When bush was
- 13:57Speaker 1: in office back in two thousand and two thousand and.
- 13:59Speaker 1: EIGHT i think it was too and five maybe when
- 14:00Speaker 1: they made their visit IF i remember, correctly and that
- 14:03Speaker 1: year could be, wrong but he didn't even have and
- 14:06Speaker 1: granted he was not.
- 14:07Speaker 2: The king, yet SO i think he was playing a.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Role but it's like.
- 14:10Speaker 1: He's now LIKE i am the, guy and he's way
- 14:13Speaker 1: more funny than he was when he visited back.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Then.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Yeah, LOOK i will say this past, WEEKEND i was In, Scottsdale,
- 14:19Speaker 3: arizona AND i was that you, know talking about that
- 14:23Speaker 3: two thousand and five visit that this last, WEEKEND i
- 14:27Speaker 3: was In, Scottsdale. Arizona The Hoover institute had had a
- 14:30Speaker 3: gathering of its board of overseers and its top, supporters
- 14:32Speaker 3: and they invited me to come Speak saturday night to the.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Dinner and what we did at the dinner is we
- 14:38Speaker 3: did a fireside chat Where Kandy rice interviewed. Me And
- 14:42Speaker 3: i've Known kandy for twenty five years And kandy's remarkably.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Candiding by the, Way she's so.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Awesome she's.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Phenomenal and we had an hour long discussion that was
- 14:52Speaker 3: really deep and. Nuanced but, Beforehand condye AND i were
- 14:56Speaker 3: chatting AND i mentioned to you, that you, know On
- 14:59Speaker 3: monday THAT i was going to go to this garden
- 15:01Speaker 3: party AND i was excited to meet uh Meeth king And.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Queen and she's she referenced that two thousand and five
- 15:05Speaker 3: visit and she, said, oh, yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 4: When when he.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Came uh she Was secretary Of estate at the, time
- 15:10Speaker 3: and she, said, WELL i was the senior, woman SO
- 15:13Speaker 3: i was his. Escort And i'm, like all, Right i'm
- 15:16Speaker 3: psyched to go to a garden party and like meet
- 15:19Speaker 3: him And i'm like you really bigfooted. Me you're LIKE
- 15:22Speaker 3: i was his. Date okay that that that that would
- 15:25Speaker 3: be one step. Up but but look. IT i will
- 15:31Speaker 3: admit the humor and it was very well. Written it's
- 15:34Speaker 3: Very british dry. Humor h but but he delivered it very.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Well And i'm going to CONFESS i actually turned the
- 15:41Speaker 3: senator next to me before the speech started AND i
- 15:44Speaker 3: sort of wisecracked that that he wasn't known to be
- 15:46Speaker 3: the most rivetting, speaker and he really surprised. ME i
- 15:49Speaker 3: was not expecting give give a listen to some of
- 15:52Speaker 3: the better jokes he had in his, speech because they
- 15:54Speaker 3: were they were really well.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Done As Oscar wilde, said we have rarely everything in
- 16:02Speaker 6: common With america, nowadays except of course. Language, now as
- 16:09Speaker 6: you may, know WHEN i address my own parliament At,
- 16:12Speaker 6: westminster we still follow an age old tradition and take
- 16:17Speaker 6: a member Of parliament, hostage holding him or her At
- 16:23Speaker 6: Buckingham palace UNTIL i am safely. Returned these days we
- 16:32Speaker 6: look after our guests rather, well to the point that
- 16:35Speaker 6: they often do not want to. Leave this is a
- 16:40Speaker 6: city which symbolizes a period in our shared, history or
- 16:45Speaker 6: What Charles dickens might have called a tale of Two.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Georgies the First president Of George washington and my five
- 17:04Speaker 6: times great, Grandfather King, george the Third King, george as your,
- 17:09Speaker 6: know never set foot In, america and please rest assured
- 17:15Speaker 6: When i'm not here as part of some cunning rear
- 17:19Speaker 6: guard action two hundred and fifty years, ago or as
- 17:25Speaker 6: we say in The United kingdom just the other.
- 17:28Speaker 1: DAY i, mean there's some really good lines, there that
- 17:35Speaker 1: one right, there the two hundred and fifty years or
- 17:37Speaker 1: as we say just the other. DAY i cook the
- 17:40Speaker 1: speech writers killed, it but he delivered the lines with a,
- 17:44Speaker 1: grin and it was, really, really really fun to see
- 17:46Speaker 1: him do that in such a fun way in front Of.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Congress, WELL i really like The i'm not here as
- 17:53Speaker 3: some sort of cunning rearguard. Action that that made me
- 17:56Speaker 3: laugh out. Loud and, actually WHEN i just listened to
- 17:58Speaker 3: it right, now may laugh out loud. Again like that
- 18:01Speaker 3: that was funny and delivered really. Well And i'll tell
- 18:04Speaker 3: you for for those of you who are not watching
- 18:06Speaker 3: this this on, YouTube if you watched, it you can
- 18:09Speaker 3: see him the joke, about As dickens would have, said
- 18:13Speaker 3: a tale of Two george's that joke didn't quite, land
- 18:17Speaker 3: and he sort of made this like self deprecating. Face
- 18:23Speaker 3: he he acknowledged facially that.
- 18:27Speaker 4: That it's that it's a. Pun it's it's a.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Pun that that that and when and his facial expression
- 18:33Speaker 3: is what prompted a bigger laugh and then a round of.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Applause but it was that in.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Particular you had to see the expression to see how
- 18:42Speaker 3: he how he made. It he made it a, winner
- 18:45Speaker 3: AND i was really happily. Surprised now his speech was
- 18:49Speaker 3: good enough that that that that That here's what What
- 18:52Speaker 3: President trump had to say about the speech.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Afterwards this is.
- 18:57Speaker 7: A great, honor and Welcome Their Majesty's King charles The
- 19:03Speaker 7: third And Queen camilla of The United kingdom to The White.
- 19:09Speaker 7: House very special, place very very. Special AND i also
- 19:13Speaker 7: want to before we really, BEGIN i want to Congratulate
- 19:18Speaker 7: charles on having made a fantastic speech today At. Congress
- 19:23Speaker 7: he got The democrats to Sand i've never been able
- 19:25Speaker 7: to do.
- 19:25Speaker 5: THAT i couldn't believe.
- 19:28Speaker 4: IT i couldn't believe.
- 19:31Speaker 5: It they liked him more than they've ever liked Any
- 19:35Speaker 5: republican Or.
- 19:36Speaker 1: DEMOCRAT i love that Or democrat actually like.
- 19:39Speaker 2: That that was one of the best.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Lines and it goes back to like WHEN i said
- 19:43Speaker 1: at the, Beginning i'm, like didn't The Democratic party just
- 19:46Speaker 1: like spend an entire like several months screaming No kings
- 19:49Speaker 1: and having No kings? Protests and they gave him like
- 19:53Speaker 1: a glowing standing ovation multiple, times loving The king being
- 19:58Speaker 1: there more than they'd.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Ever do for Any, republican that's for.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Sure, well The White house today tweeted out a picture
- 20:04Speaker 3: Of President trump And King charles just with the words two,
- 20:08Speaker 3: kings which which drove the left out of their.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Minds, yeah that was good easy trolling right.
- 20:15Speaker 3: There, Yeah AND i will Say King charles also had
- 20:19Speaker 3: another couple of jokes at the state dinner at The White.
- 20:22Speaker 4: House give a listen to these on this.
- 20:25Speaker 6: OCCASION i cannot help noticing the readjustments to The east,
- 20:30Speaker 6: wing Mister, president following your visit To Winsor castle last.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Year And i'm sorry to say that We, british of
- 20:39Speaker 6: course made our own small attempt at real estate redevelopment
- 20:44Speaker 6: of The White house in eighteen.
- 20:45Speaker 1: FOURTEEN i, mean that's a great line right, There like
- 20:54Speaker 1: whoever he, hired LIKE i want to steal them and
- 20:58Speaker 1: bring them.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Here because they were brilliant.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Jokes and by the, way for those of y'all who
- 21:03Speaker 3: aren't students of, history in The war of eighteen, twelve
- 21:06Speaker 3: The british burned The White house and like leveled. It
- 21:09Speaker 3: and so that's, LOOK i assume The king probably has
- 21:13Speaker 3: a speech writer on, staff but whether he used his
- 21:18Speaker 3: normal speech writer or brought in it wouldn't surprise me
- 21:21Speaker 3: if they actually brought in a comedy. WRITER i, mean they're,
- 21:23Speaker 3: yeah for, sure because there's and WHAT i like about
- 21:29Speaker 3: the humor is it's just it's the Rye british humor
- 21:32Speaker 3: that there's a dryness to it that just makes it
- 21:35Speaker 3: makes it really. Funny but, LISTEN i am glad that
- 21:39Speaker 3: The king was, here AND i am glad that both
- 21:43Speaker 3: he And President trump focused on the foundation of our,
- 21:48Speaker 3: culture of our, law of our understanding that our rights
- 21:52Speaker 3: come From God, almighty that governments are instituted to secure those,
- 21:56Speaker 3: rights that history we've. Got this entire, year our two
- 22:00Speaker 3: hundred and fiftieth birthday is going to be a lot
- 22:02Speaker 3: of discussion of, that AND i think the kings being
- 22:04Speaker 3: here was an important part of.
- 22:06Speaker 4: That it really.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Was it was very.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Cool it was nice to see people come together and
- 22:10Speaker 1: have this, moment especially after what we just had The
- 22:12Speaker 1: White House Correspondence. CENTER i want to move center on
- 22:15Speaker 1: to another, topic and that is some good news for
- 22:18Speaker 1: people that are sick and tired of seeing crimes committed
- 22:20Speaker 1: in one actual, action especially when it comes to taxpayer
- 22:24Speaker 1: dollars disappearing by the tens of. Billions and now we
- 22:27Speaker 1: have THE fbi that has rated The minneapolis fraud ridden
- 22:32Speaker 1: care centers twenty plus of these that were actually raided
- 22:36Speaker 1: by THE, fbi including the famous children's leering center that
- 22:41Speaker 1: was supposed to say on their sign learning but it
- 22:43Speaker 1: was just a leering.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Center that one was rated as.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Well AND i am excited to just, say at least
- 22:51Speaker 1: it looks like now we're getting some real action into
- 22:55Speaker 1: stopping this, fraud into showing that if you take away
- 22:58Speaker 1: taxpayer dollars this way AND i sent it to terrorist
- 23:00Speaker 1: organizations like Als, jabab and you bribe democrats to look
- 23:04Speaker 1: the other, way Like Governor, waltz but with campaign, contributions
- 23:08Speaker 1: somebody is at least going to come in and actually
- 23:10Speaker 1: hold you.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Accountable, yes, Look i'm very glad that there is finally
- 23:14Speaker 3: going to be some accountability twenty two locations In minneapolis
- 23:18Speaker 3: rated by THE. Fbi this week you mentioned The Quality Leering.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Center of course they're most proud graduate Ilhan, omar who
- 23:26Speaker 3: actually is not.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Technical World war eleven? Yesterday did you know about? That
- 23:30Speaker 1: we got eleven war? Wars that's impressive. STUFF i didn't
- 23:33Speaker 1: think The king Of eland knew.
- 23:34Speaker 4: That it really is.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Stunning so she was giving a speech and the speech
- 23:39Speaker 3: Referenced World war, two but the two is Two roman,
- 23:42Speaker 3: numerals and that's how you normally Write World war. Two
- 23:46Speaker 3: and she read that As World war eleven yes, now.
- 23:50Speaker 1: And didn't like correct, herself just owned it and kept
- 23:53Speaker 1: going like it was not like if you OR i did.
- 23:55Speaker 1: That and by the, way if you've ever read a
- 23:57Speaker 1: speech and you're tired or you're just kind of a long,
- 24:00Speaker 1: day you can you might immediately correct.
- 24:03Speaker 2: It she had no, clue no.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Idea, look, look there's a level of ignorance. There if
- 24:10Speaker 3: a ninth grader Thought World WAR ii Was World war,
- 24:14Speaker 3: eleven you would flunk that ninth. GRADER i, mean you
- 24:18Speaker 3: think about it years.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Too nowadays we'll just socially just pass them on in
- 24:22Speaker 1: our public. School so back in the good old, days you'd.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Fail.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Look, Look Ilhan omar is one of the Leading. Democrats
- 24:27Speaker 3: she AND aoc AND i mean the crazy squad is
- 24:31Speaker 3: driving the agenda Of democrats today and the level of
- 24:35Speaker 3: ignorance of basic world, history it is really. Stunning And
- 24:42Speaker 3: omar was also integral in covering up The somali fraud In.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Minnesota she was a beneficiary of. It she was elected
- 24:53Speaker 3: by the. Fraudsters The somali voting base is her core.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Base their money helped elect, her their votes did elect.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Her and she And Tim wallson the, governor And Keith,
- 25:07Speaker 3: ellison the ag they were all absolutely involved in the cover.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Up they had every. Incentive it was, corrupt and we're
- 25:15Speaker 3: talking over nine billion dollars of taxpayer money swindled. Away
- 25:20Speaker 3: and so here's What Fox news reported about the. Raids
- 25:24Speaker 3: federal authorities rated more than twenty, locations including childcare, facilities
- 25:28Speaker 3: In minneapolis On tuesday as part of a sweeping fraud
- 25:32Speaker 3: investigation into Largely somali owned. Businesses sources confirmed To Fox.
- 25:36Speaker 3: News quote, today THE, fbi with, federal state and local
- 25:40Speaker 3: law enforcement is involved in court authorized law enforcement activity
- 25:46Speaker 3: as part of an ongoing fraud. INVESTIGATION a department Of
- 25:49Speaker 3: justice spokesperson said authorities executed twenty two federal search warrants
- 25:54Speaker 3: In minnesota On tuesday morning as part of the, operation
- 25:57Speaker 3: which is not immigration. Related sources said the raids center
- 26:02Speaker 3: on federal fraud investigations into Largely somali owned, businesses including
- 26:06Speaker 3: childcare facilities that registered their daycare with the state but
- 26:11Speaker 3: were allegedly billing for care that was not. Provided sources
- 26:15Speaker 3: Told Fox news that two of the raids were conducted
- 26:18Speaker 3: at The Quality Leering center And baby Hallim No, childcare
- 26:23Speaker 3: both In. Minneapolis Vice president J D vance addressed the
- 26:27Speaker 3: raids a post on, x, writing the Task force of
- 26:29Speaker 3: THE doj will be relentless and exposing these fraudsters wherever
- 26:34Speaker 3: they may be. Hiding Governor Tim, waltz this.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Is you you want to talk. About Amazing hutspot.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Said the raids were carried out by federal and state
- 26:44Speaker 3: law enforcement after state agencies quote caught irregular behavior and reported.
- 26:50Speaker 7: It.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Quote if you commit fraud In, Minnesota you're going to get.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Caught and that's exactly what we saw. Today we catch
- 26:58Speaker 3: criminals when state and federal agency share, information join, investigations,
- 27:02Speaker 3: work and securing justice depends upon it now that truly
- 27:07Speaker 3: is stunning Because, walts his entire, governorship has looked the
- 27:11Speaker 3: other way on massive, fraud has refused to investigate, it
- 27:15Speaker 3: has profited from, it has been elected by, it has
- 27:18Speaker 3: taken campaign donations from. It the Entire democrat machinery was
- 27:23Speaker 3: built on. Fraud and now he's taking. Credit that really
- 27:28Speaker 3: is like the arsonists taking credit when the firefighters turn
- 27:31Speaker 3: up and put out the.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Fire, yeah it really.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Is and it's all because now he's not running for, reelection,
- 27:36Speaker 1: right so he can just be, like, oh we're rooting
- 27:38Speaker 1: out fraud and try TO i guess rebuild his. Legacy
- 27:40Speaker 1: so maybe he can have a grand comeback one. DAY
- 27:43Speaker 1: i don't know if that's going to. Work there's one
- 27:46Speaker 1: aspect of this though center that excites, me and it's
- 27:48Speaker 1: the fact that it's clear this is the, beginning not the,
- 27:51Speaker 1: end based on what was said by THE, doj like
- 27:55Speaker 1: this is the tip of the. Iceberg we're going to
- 27:58Speaker 1: the catalyst. Point and then there's been directives at all,
- 28:02Speaker 1: states Including republican led, states to start looking at, waste
- 28:05Speaker 1: fraud and.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Abuse they're looking At.
- 28:07Speaker 1: CALIFORNIA i think you're going to see more people that
- 28:09Speaker 1: are gonna be indicted and more places that are going
- 28:12Speaker 1: to be rated outside Of. Minnesota that is exactly what
- 28:15Speaker 1: The american people voted, for which was to get rid of,
- 28:17Speaker 1: waste fraud and.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Abuse that is exactly. Right AND i will point out
- 28:21Speaker 3: also that Other blue states are. Coming california is. COMING
- 28:27Speaker 3: i have every reason to, expect and, Indeed i've been
- 28:29Speaker 3: told by senior officials in the Administration california is even, worse,
- 28:35Speaker 3: yeah Than minneapolis has. Been AND i want you also
- 28:40Speaker 3: give a listen To Agriculture secretary Brook rawlins and what
- 28:45Speaker 3: she revealed about fraud and abuse CONCERNING. Snap concerning food.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Stamps give a listen to To Secretary.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Rollins, yeah this one's.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Amazing by the, way for, context this is about luxury
- 28:55Speaker 1: cars and how many people on food stamps are driving
- 28:59Speaker 1: like luxury.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Car it's incredible.
- 29:01Speaker 8: Sharing, previously no data was. Shared we had no idea
- 29:04Speaker 8: where the taxpayer dollars were, spent just one red. State
- 29:07Speaker 8: the recent dump of, data we FOUND snap recipients had
- 29:11Speaker 8: more than two Thousand tesla, owners two Hundred Alpha romeo,
- 29:15Speaker 8: owners more than one hundred and forty four that were
- 29:17Speaker 8: receiving food. Stamps we're Driving. Porsches, again this is the
- 29:22Speaker 8: data dumps we're getting because that we before we had
- 29:25Speaker 8: no accountability on any of these. Programs we now are requiring.
- 29:28Speaker 8: Accountability The blue states are suing. Us they don't want
- 29:31Speaker 8: to share the. Data and can you imagine this was
- 29:33Speaker 8: a red state where there is actually some taxpayer. Accountability
- 29:38Speaker 8: imagine what's happening in The blue. States if that's happening
- 29:41Speaker 8: in the red, state.
- 29:43Speaker 2: WELL i love.
- 29:43Speaker 1: That it's like a bunch Of tesla, Owners Alpha, romeo Also, Porsches,
- 29:48Speaker 1: Mercedes BMW's and you're on food, stamps like these were.
- 29:52Speaker 3: High end luxury ben it's even. Worse so let me
- 29:55Speaker 3: give some additional. Breakdown so there are three hundred and
- 29:58Speaker 3: six Land.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Rovers they're worth, cheap by the.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Way there were fifty Nine. Maseratis, yeah there were bridge
- 30:07Speaker 3: stamp car you know. That there were Eleven, lamborghinis there
- 30:14Speaker 3: were Three, ferraris and there were Three. Bentley's these are
- 30:19Speaker 3: people getting food stamps driving a quarter million dollar or
- 30:24Speaker 3: more like A lamborghini could be a million dollar car
- 30:27Speaker 3: depending on which one they. Had, yeah that is an absolute.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Abuse and if that happened in just One red state
- 30:35Speaker 3: that handed over its data how much do you think
- 30:38Speaker 3: it's happening In. Minnesota how much do you think it's
- 30:41Speaker 3: happening In New? York how much do you think it
- 30:42Speaker 3: is happening In. Illinois how much you think it's happening In.
- 30:45Speaker 3: California the numbers are going to be.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Done every time they went after and got somebody there for. Fraud,
- 30:51Speaker 1: recently what were they. Doing you saw them putting in
- 30:54Speaker 1: a six figure car that was being c's and some
- 30:58Speaker 1: of the cases there was like multiple six figure cars
- 31:00Speaker 1: that were being c center and put on. Flatbeds, like,
- 31:03Speaker 1: yeah they finally raided the house of this fraudster and
- 31:05Speaker 1: look at what they. Had, like if you're on food
- 31:07Speaker 1: stamps and you're driving A lambo or A ferrari or A,
- 31:10Speaker 1: maserati like you were defrauding THE us, government full.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Stop, amen hallelujah and. Listen i'm very glad The trump
- 31:21Speaker 3: administration is having some. Accountability let me read from what
- 31:27Speaker 3: The New York post wrote about, this this story About
- 31:29Speaker 3: ferrari drivers on food. Stamps so it's Entitled ferrari drivers
- 31:32Speaker 3: on Food? Stamps How states helped scammers game? Welfare New York.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Post what do a university professor a celebrity, barber and
- 31:42Speaker 3: a professional football player have in.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Common all three bought new.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Six figure luxury sports cars and lived lavish lifestyles while
- 31:52Speaker 3: collecting food. Stamps how on earth can these quote welfare
- 31:57Speaker 3: recipients purchase high end vehicles while remaining on the thanks
- 32:01Speaker 3: to a federal loophole known as broad based categorical. Eligibility
- 32:06Speaker 3: The clinton administration manufactured this loophole and The obama administration supercharged. It,
- 32:12Speaker 3: currently forty three states In, washington D C used broad
- 32:16Speaker 3: based categorical eligibility to bypass Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistant program
- 32:22Speaker 3: eligibility limits on, income assets or. Both the, mechanism based
- 32:29Speaker 3: on a federal law that was meant to minimize state's administrative,
- 32:32Speaker 3: cost is. Simple state welfare agencies print up a brochure
- 32:36Speaker 3: about welfare programs or set up an informal hotline and
- 32:39Speaker 3: deem it a quote benefit under The Temporary assistance For
- 32:43Speaker 3: Needy families. Program anyone who touches that, pamphlet touches or
- 32:49Speaker 3: receives the phone number is then treated as being quote
- 32:54Speaker 3: categorically eligible for food, stamps even a. Millionaires its fraud
- 33:02Speaker 3: by design that distributes benefits intended for the truly needy
- 33:07Speaker 3: to otherwise ineligible individuals under the insidious goal of maximizing
- 33:12Speaker 3: enrollment and, dependency and it works in almost every. State
- 33:17Speaker 3: researchers from The foundation For Government accountability examined de identified
- 33:22Speaker 3: data on food stamp enrollment in a single representative. State
- 33:26Speaker 3: the data set matched recipients with, jobs, addresses car, registrations and,
- 33:32Speaker 3: more and then they redacted the personal details before the researchers.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Reviewed that's what produced these. Outcomes and by the, way
- 33:43Speaker 3: it also thousands Used Social security numbers that federal databases
- 33:49Speaker 3: could not. Verify that included real numbers with mismatched names and,
- 33:54Speaker 3: birthdays numbers issued years before the applicant's date of births
- 34:00Speaker 3: of people who died years, ago and numbers that don't even.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Exist all are clear signs that both stolen identities and
- 34:09Speaker 3: synthetic identities are being used to defraud the. System THE
- 34:15Speaker 3: bbcee loophole doesn't just expand. Enrollments it creates the condition
- 34:19Speaker 3: for outright criminals to. Flourish when state agencies eliminate asset,
- 34:24Speaker 3: checks they tear out the trip wires that cost fraudulent.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Applications this is a case in. Point the wealthy, professor,
- 34:35Speaker 3: barber and professional athlete THAT fga researchers spotted could be
- 34:39Speaker 3: victims of identity fraud Because snap intentionally allows anything to
- 34:46Speaker 3: serve as proof of, identity even a library. Card if
- 34:50Speaker 3: states were cross checking income and, assets those cases would
- 34:54Speaker 3: be flagged as potential. Fraud thousands. More here's something else.
- 35:00Speaker 3: More food stamp recipients in the study enrolled USING ip
- 35:04Speaker 3: addresses traced to foreign, countries Including, China, mexico And. Canada
- 35:12Speaker 3: more than five thousand applicants in this state used foreign
- 35:15Speaker 3: based email addresses to, apply and countless others used disposable.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Emails the kind design for identity theft and. Phishing, look
- 35:25Speaker 3: THE usda puts improper foodstamp payments at ten point four
- 35:30Speaker 3: billion dollars a year with A b that's more than
- 35:34Speaker 3: one in every ten dollars spent on the. Program and
- 35:39Speaker 3: so now we're going after that. Fraud And i'm here to, say,
- 35:44Speaker 3: yes this is WHAT i voted. For holding the criminals,
- 35:47Speaker 3: accountable and by the, way holding The democrats accountable who
- 35:51Speaker 3: have enabled this theft of taxpayer. Fraud you want to
- 35:54Speaker 3: know what The democrats stand? For they stand For somali
- 35:57Speaker 3: fraudsters stealing your tax money and send it To Al,
- 36:00Speaker 3: shabab islamus terrorist And. Somalia they stand for thieves Driving
- 36:06Speaker 3: bentley's And lamborghinis and ferraris who say they need food
- 36:10Speaker 3: stamps and stealing your. Money that IS I and by the, way,
- 36:15Speaker 3: look Sometimes heidi will, say, gosh you know that rhetoric
- 36:20Speaker 3: sounds really. Harsh, Well, ben if The democrats don't stand for,
- 36:25Speaker 3: that THEN i just want to ask you a. Question
- 36:28Speaker 3: why Wouldn't democrat governors do what The trump administration has.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Done why wouldn't they go after and cut them? Off
- 36:35Speaker 3: and they don't do it because ideologically they are in
- 36:39Speaker 3: favor of. It if they just, SAID i, mean is
- 36:41Speaker 3: there One democrat in the country will, say all, right
- 36:43Speaker 3: we're gonna have a rule nobody on food stamps can
- 36:46Speaker 3: have a.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Ferrari like if you have a, ferrari sell your damn
- 36:49Speaker 4: car and buy your.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Food with that money you get for selling your, car
- 36:55Speaker 3: but you don't get if you got the money for a,
- 36:57Speaker 3: ferrari we ain't paying for your. FOOD i gotta that
- 37:00Speaker 3: sounds like common. Sense and there's not a Single democrat
- 37:03Speaker 3: governor in the country that's said.
- 37:04Speaker 2: That am into. That don't.
