- 2:38Speaker 1: Wanting only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, I
- 2:43Speaker 1: got something for you today. Uh. This is something that
- 2:47Speaker 1: I've really been focusing on for the past a couple
- 2:51Speaker 1: of months. To be honest with you, and uh, I
- 2:55Speaker 1: want to share it with you today because I want
- 2:57Speaker 1: to encourage you, because that's something that's available to you
- 3:01Speaker 1: that I've rarely spoke on before, and it's something that
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've been really really discovering for the past couple of months.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And I can't even tell you the difference is made
- 3:10Speaker 1: in my life. Um, I'm gonna have a conversation this
- 3:16Speaker 1: morning about my understanding of grace. You know, when I
- 3:21Speaker 1: was a little you see, hear my mother sing a
- 3:23Speaker 1: song all the time. All I need is a little
- 3:26Speaker 1: more grace, a little more grace. All I want is
- 3:30Speaker 1: a little more grace, a little more grace. And I
- 3:33Speaker 1: you know, I sang it with her, you know, of course,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you know, walking around the house and stuff, and we
- 3:37Speaker 1: had devotion service. I would sing it with the church people.
- 3:40Speaker 1: But I ain't repay it no attention. I really really didn't.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Now that I've gotten older and I've come into a
- 3:47Speaker 1: better understanding of a lot of things I didn't know
- 3:50Speaker 1: about when I was younger. This is just my interpretation
- 3:55Speaker 1: of grace. Now once again, y'all listen to me. I
- 4:00Speaker 1: ain't nobody's pastor, I ain't nobody's minister. So you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure you can go to church and get
- 4:06Speaker 1: a far more extensive definition of one I'm giving you.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm just talking to people. You know. Grace is this
- 4:14Speaker 1: thing that that God provides for us, and grace it's
- 4:22Speaker 1: just things that you get that's really undeserving, you know.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I mean, I look at my life as it is today.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You know, Look, I work hard and I have faith
- 4:31Speaker 1: in God that I do so things are going to
- 4:34Speaker 1: happen in my life. But the way my life is now,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't deserve all of this.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't look at it that way.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I have been the beneficiary of God's grace. I have
- 4:48Speaker 1: aligned myself in a position to accept whatever grace God
- 4:53Speaker 1: has for me, and it will be far abundant and
- 4:58Speaker 1: exceedingly in anything you can think of. His grace supersedes
- 5:04Speaker 1: anything you could possibly imagine. You know, the goals that
- 5:07Speaker 1: I set and the aspirations that I shoot for, and
- 5:10Speaker 1: the things that I have on my dream board. I
- 5:12Speaker 1: have the faith that God had give it to me.
- 5:14Speaker 1: But what he does with grace, he gives you far
- 5:17Speaker 1: more than that. He gives you what he has for you,
- 5:21Speaker 1: not what you can see. You can't see all he
- 5:23Speaker 1: has for you. It's impossible. Who are you? How can
- 5:26Speaker 1: you possibly imagine what he can imagine? How can you
- 5:30Speaker 1: possibly think how he can think? How? How can you
- 5:32Speaker 1: possibly do what he can do? How can it be
- 5:36Speaker 1: that isn't a single mind living or a collection of
- 5:39Speaker 1: minds that could have thought of Earth? What in your
- 5:43Speaker 1: wildest imagination could have made you think of Earth? The stars,
- 5:47Speaker 1: the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy, the constellations. What in
- 5:54Speaker 1: your mind? What in any man's mind? We can point
- 5:57Speaker 1: at it and analyze it, but we show couldn't have
- 6:00Speaker 1: thought of it. So come on now, I'm talking about
- 6:04Speaker 1: lining yourself up with God's grace, which he will give
- 6:09Speaker 1: to you, if, if you, if you want some of
- 6:11Speaker 1: it now. But now here's the thing about grace. It
- 6:13Speaker 1: can't be bought. If it could, if it could be bought,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you I would pour all the money I
- 6:20Speaker 1: have and dump it into grace, because, after discovering what
- 6:25Speaker 1: it is, it's this goodness that God shines on you
- 6:31Speaker 1: simply as a reward of some type for his love
- 6:35Speaker 1: for you and for you attempting for you attempting to
- 6:40Speaker 1: do right, not be cause you get it right, because
- 6:43Speaker 1: if He judged us purely on how we are the
- 6:46Speaker 1: right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed.
- 6:49Speaker 1: All of us, every last one of us, would be
- 6:53Speaker 1: doomed because we all fall short, we all make mistakes,
- 6:58Speaker 1: we all sin, we all get it wrong from time
- 7:01Speaker 1: to time. Nobody's perfect. Man. Now I understand what my
- 7:06Speaker 1: mother was saying about cleaning the house. All I want
- 7:09Speaker 1: is a little more grace. All I need is a
- 7:12Speaker 1: little more grace when the last time you ask God
- 7:15Speaker 1: for some grace. I'm not talking to you like I
- 7:17Speaker 1: know everything, because I'm telling you I just got hip
- 7:20Speaker 1: to this a couple of months ago. I just really
- 7:23Speaker 1: started focusing on this a couple of months ago, and
- 7:25Speaker 1: I'm bringing it to you because I know to help
- 7:27Speaker 1: you if you just benefit from His grace what you
- 7:31Speaker 1: already have. But if you're not aware of it, you
- 7:34Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. Become aware of grace, Get
- 7:38Speaker 1: aware of the fact that God does things for you
- 7:41Speaker 1: simply because He loves you. He does things for you
- 7:44Speaker 1: that you don't even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how
- 7:47Speaker 1: you just got over when you didn't even do the
- 7:50Speaker 1: things to get over Sometimes you don't even know how
- 7:55Speaker 1: you got that job you got when you ain't even
- 7:57Speaker 1: really do the things to get the job. How you
- 7:59Speaker 1: in where you are? All his education you thought you
- 8:02Speaker 1: went and God, and hey, how you end up where
- 8:04Speaker 1: you are today in a much better position than your
- 8:07Speaker 1: education could have ever gotten you. That's that's grace. How
- 8:12Speaker 1: I get every place I am today. I didn't plan this, Man,
- 8:16Speaker 1: If I could have planned my life the way it is,
- 8:18Speaker 1: don't you know how to done it when I was
- 8:19Speaker 1: living in that car? If I knew how to do it. No,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I benefited from his grace. I'm just a benefishary of
- 8:28Speaker 1: his grace, of his goodness and his mercy. God's goodness
- 8:32Speaker 1: is better than your goodness. God's goodness is better than
- 8:36Speaker 1: your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's or your
- 8:39Speaker 1: husband or your booze goodness. God's goodness is different. His
- 8:44Speaker 1: goodness Man covers some stuff you can't even imagine. So
- 8:49Speaker 1: why are you trying to put your life together when
- 8:52Speaker 1: the last time you asked him for just a little
- 8:54Speaker 1: bit of grace? When have you thought of your life
- 8:58Speaker 1: in terms of the race that it has already benefited
- 9:02Speaker 1: from Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought about
- 9:06Speaker 1: you know you hear songs like my soul, looked back
- 9:08Speaker 1: and wonder how I got over? That was grace, That's
- 9:11Speaker 1: all I can call it. Now, Like I said, you
- 9:13Speaker 1: can go to church or somewherever you want to and
- 9:15Speaker 1: ministers that the wind the school to teach this thing
- 9:18Speaker 1: way better than me. I'm just giving you from a
- 9:20Speaker 1: layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace? Would
- 9:24Speaker 1: you not bewill to be a beneficiary of his grace?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Would it not? Now? Check this out. The better you
- 9:31Speaker 1: try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 9:35Speaker 1: And that grace can't be bought. Like I said, it's free.
- 9:39Speaker 1: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to
- 9:42Speaker 1: become the more the more grace he gets to put
- 9:45Speaker 1: your way. So man, just try, Why don't you just
- 9:49Speaker 1: try to do better? Look, man, quit your mind. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: gonna start next week. I'm gonna start at the new year.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Now you're not. You do that every year? You know
- 9:57Speaker 1: the errors At the new year, we eat matter that
- 9:59Speaker 1: didn't new year. I'm gonna I'm gonna gonna get in
- 10:02Speaker 1: here in the new year. If you're gonna do it,
- 10:04Speaker 1: You're gonna do it now. Man, You're gonna do not
- 10:07Speaker 1: stop trying to do something, do it, stop talking about it,
- 10:12Speaker 1: do it now. The best way to benefit from his
- 10:15Speaker 1: grace is starting action now in old w now, right
- 10:21Speaker 1: now today. What you waiting on, all you're doing is
- 10:25Speaker 1: delaying his opportunity to bless you. You know, man, you
- 10:29Speaker 1: know what? Do you know how many times we do that?
- 10:31Speaker 1: We delay His opportunity to bless us by not starting now.
- 10:36Speaker 1: If you're gonna get healthy, why don't you starting out now?
- 10:39Speaker 1: You're gonna trip a little bit called the holidays coming,
- 10:42Speaker 1: But you ain't got to eat bad all the time.
- 10:44Speaker 1: You could start eating correct today you could, you could,
- 10:48Speaker 1: and then guess what that could be? Some grace on
- 10:50Speaker 1: the end of that. I'm just giving you a little
- 10:53Speaker 1: cheap analogy. But do you feel what I'm saying to you?
- 10:56Speaker 1: Start thinking in terms of grace what He has done
- 11:00Speaker 1: for you and provided for you that you didn't even
- 11:01Speaker 1: see coming. That you know, you keep calling them blessings
- 11:04Speaker 1: And I got that a lot of it now, that's
- 11:06Speaker 1: all it is. But man, have you thought about the
- 11:08Speaker 1: stuff that didn't happen to you, you can't account for I.
- 11:13Speaker 1: For me, that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And that's available to everybody that wants. So next time
- 11:20Speaker 1: you're talking to him, just check in with Grace. See
- 11:22Speaker 1: what that is. That's that's better than money. You're listening
- 11:26Speaker 1: to the morning show, folks. Uh, this is the Steve
- 11:32Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Good morning, Shirley Strawberry, Good morning Sarah.
- 11:36Speaker 1: How are you calling for real? Good morning crew? What's happening, Steve?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Come on, jo morning on, Come on, Jake? What up?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Steve Holley? Come on. Food in the building. Baby. It's
- 11:53Speaker 1: Monday morning, Steve. It's Monday morning. Back Yeah, yeah, are
- 12:00Speaker 1: you real, Steve? What's going on? I'm feeling pretty good.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Football season about to start back up, Thank you lord.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You guys are nothing without your sport time baseball, And
- 12:14Speaker 1: I'm not trying to take anybody off. It's a great game.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I love it when he gets to the playoffs. But
- 12:18Speaker 1: until it gets to the playoffs, I can't sit there
- 12:21Speaker 1: and one pitch going down, he rams back. Oh, he
- 12:24Speaker 1: steps off the mound. That's a bright day out here.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Philly Park. Got a lot of people. Hey there, the
- 12:30Speaker 1: kid over there look at him and chasing the duck
- 12:33Speaker 1: of the folks one black nine hours outside of the ball.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You know, folks are last week we were here, cap Dave.
- 12:44Speaker 1: If you missed it, well back day will be game. Man.
- 12:50Speaker 1: See think about football. Every play is action happening. You
- 12:56Speaker 1: know what. The Literal League World Series was good, Tommy.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I enjoyed that. I watched it every year every single year.
- 13:07Speaker 1: The boys from Georgia almost made it, man, and boys
- 13:10Speaker 1: from Hawaii got him. But it's all American boys from
- 13:14Speaker 1: Hawaii was greatness, man. They played to Georgia. Georgia kids
- 13:18Speaker 1: played really really good too. Man. I was just proud
- 13:21Speaker 1: of all of them. Man, because the bluttle Hawaiian kids
- 13:23Speaker 1: from Hawaii they came up there. They played some good ball.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Yes they did. You know, you know, I gotta did
- 13:31Speaker 1: I see it Sunday? Did they do the final? Sunday?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Sunday was the finals. I wouldn't see. I didn't get
- 13:40Speaker 1: to see though international game. So let's see sports. You
- 13:44Speaker 1: gotta have your sports. That's like a necessity. You gotta
- 13:47Speaker 1: have that. Yeah, my husband going crazy, gotta wait for football.
- 13:56Speaker 1: But I know how to play. Don't understand crooked at
- 14:01Speaker 1: all I learned more more about rugby. Tommy doesn't understand
- 14:08Speaker 1: why over there? Yeah, I don't know how you hit
- 14:13Speaker 1: the ball behind you and you out. The hell just happen?
- 14:21Speaker 1: It is Hawaii shuts out South Korea to win a
- 14:25Speaker 1: Little League World Series. Yeah, they were playing in Japan.
- 14:33Speaker 1: They don't play fair. They cheat, They cheating when they play.
- 14:37Speaker 1: They cheated. Because he's an older boys, we have to go.
- 14:43Speaker 1: He's a winning boy, but he's not a little boy.
- 14:53Speaker 1: We do have to move along here coming up inside
- 14:58Speaker 1: something funny you got this is crazy. Steve Harvey worked
- 15:02Speaker 1: the drive through at the Atlanta Chick fil A. We're yeah,
- 15:06Speaker 1: and we'll don't talk about that when we come back
- 15:09Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 15:13Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is Monday. It's
- 15:17Speaker 1: time to find out what we did over the weekend. Steve.
- 15:20Speaker 1: We're especially interested in what you did over the weekend.
- 15:23Speaker 1: You worked the Chick fil A drive through in Atlanta,
- 15:28Speaker 1: going on what happens Maru? Really we used but I mean, yeah, HBCUs, Yeah,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I can't spend all go there and uh, I was
- 15:47Speaker 1: just having a meeting with my friend Dan Caffey that
- 15:51Speaker 1: owns Chick fil A, And we were in a meeting
- 15:54Speaker 1: and going on. Toured the pine Wood studios with him,
- 15:58Speaker 1: Uh this weekend and uh did a couple of things
- 16:01Speaker 1: and went through the Chick fil A. Uh, the one
- 16:04Speaker 1: that they told them would not work, but this man insisted.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Dan Caffty said he's gonna help the economic development and
- 16:15Speaker 1: upswing to the west side its historical sites. So there
- 16:19Speaker 1: where Martin Luther King's home was. It's a whole area
- 16:22Speaker 1: that's about to suffer from gentrification. And I've gotten together
- 16:26Speaker 1: with them to listen to them. Uh what is it
- 16:30Speaker 1: called gentrification? Grif gingerbread making what I said. But anyway,
- 16:42Speaker 1: he created a program. This is such This guy has
- 16:46Speaker 1: such a big heart because you know, because of the
- 16:48Speaker 1: new Mercedes being stadium, you know, those that poor community
- 16:52Speaker 1: around there, slowly it is gonna get wiped out. Well,
- 16:55Speaker 1: this guy, Dan Caffy, doesn't want that to happen. So
- 16:58Speaker 1: they have these incredible programs. They have a fun set
- 17:02Speaker 1: aside for grandmother's people who have been living there for years,
- 17:05Speaker 1: who if the taxes go up they won't be able
- 17:08Speaker 1: to afford to stay there. They want to keep their
- 17:10Speaker 1: taxes the way they are and let them draw from
- 17:12Speaker 1: a siphon of money to help them offset the new
- 17:16Speaker 1: tax laws the taxes because the stadium is down there,
- 17:19Speaker 1: it's just a great program to keep affordable housing around
- 17:24Speaker 1: but make it look a lot better than to the
- 17:27Speaker 1: original owners that as and it's used to be a
- 17:32Speaker 1: thriving community down there. Is now only sixteen thousand residents
- 17:36Speaker 1: around the stadium in a certain area, but half of
- 17:41Speaker 1: those of HBC HBCU students who are there that can
- 17:45Speaker 1: afford that housing around it, and the other eight thousand
- 17:49Speaker 1: are mostly older people who have just been there for
- 17:53Speaker 1: years and can't afford to move. So keeping those people
- 17:56Speaker 1: with a place to live is an incredible thing that
- 17:59Speaker 1: the owners do it. It's like really great thing. I
- 18:02Speaker 1: like that. So you worked the drive through so that
- 18:08Speaker 1: I would. They don't know I was gonna do it.
- 18:11Speaker 1: How many did you? Well, you don't understand how the
- 18:14Speaker 1: people putting up to that one, Steve Harley. One lady
- 18:20Speaker 1: just got her camera and just filmed me the whole time.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I don't know what. I didn't know nobody was filming.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I was just talking trap. So one lady gave me
- 18:30Speaker 1: some money and the change was a penny, Like she
- 18:36Speaker 1: gave me a tent. Her change was a penny. I
- 18:39Speaker 1: didn't even know. I ain't know you wanted that. Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: so I just said thanks for coming, lady. She said, Steve,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you got my change. I said, baby, it's a penny.
- 18:55Speaker 1: She said, well they don't need it. Okay, get your
- 19:02Speaker 1: damn pity out of here. That's right, she said. I said,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I ain't know you needed that pity. Well, they showed
- 19:08Speaker 1: on question did you eat any free food? Yeah? Yeah, dog.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you. I saw how they make the
- 19:22Speaker 1: best chicken sandwich anywhere. Man. They got this a smooth
- 19:27Speaker 1: way that they do it. Man, I can't tell it,
- 19:30Speaker 1: but yeah, they are the nicest people. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 19:39Speaker 1: this is you. You were working to drive through rich
- 19:54Speaker 1: you're giving out condiments. So yeah, now I know. I
- 19:59Speaker 1: was him have it, and then I told him, I said, hey,
- 20:02Speaker 1: thanks for coming. Were closed on something to go to church?
- 20:08Speaker 1: We're Christians up there. I love it. I went to
- 20:16Speaker 1: this real, real special place over there called the City
- 20:19Speaker 1: of Refuge, And it's a white minister who came to
- 20:24Speaker 1: town sixteen years ago for a weekend to do a
- 20:28Speaker 1: revival at a church in a very delapping in the community.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Was thriving, bustling with the bangers and drugs and everything
- 20:35Speaker 1: just like it is a day. It's just less of them.
- 20:38Speaker 1: But he ended up staying and he moved his four
- 20:40Speaker 1: daughters and his wife into a house right off the
- 20:44Speaker 1: street behind this church. And he has several breakers, some
- 20:48Speaker 1: robberies and stuff, but he's not a law told in
- 20:51Speaker 1: this community need help today. He runs this place called
- 20:55Speaker 1: Refuge City, and I've never seen a facility like it
- 20:59Speaker 1: in my life. I've got to start thinking bigger about
- 21:02Speaker 1: how health these boys. He has a center that has
- 21:05Speaker 1: full medical in it. It has a shelter and beds
- 21:09Speaker 1: for women who are sexually abused or in domestic violent situations.
- 21:15Speaker 1: They have a rescue stuff for sex trafficking, which in
- 21:20Speaker 1: that area is the number one self trafficking area in
- 21:24Speaker 1: the Southeast. That zip code right there, they traffic more
- 21:29Speaker 1: sex down there than any zip code I think, he said,
- 21:33Speaker 1: in the Southeast. I know it's Georgia, but all of
- 21:35Speaker 1: the sex trafficking comes through that. This guy opened up
- 21:38Speaker 1: a refuge center where girls who are rescued from that
- 21:41Speaker 1: have a place, their own room, clean, they get to
- 21:44Speaker 1: stay there for x amount of monks, women and children
- 21:47Speaker 1: can come and stay from battered shelters, anybody being sexually abused.
- 21:51Speaker 1: It is just an amazingly clean, huge facilities. X cons
- 21:56Speaker 1: can come and get trained or full certified automanchanics course.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And when the course is over, they've been working on
- 22:04Speaker 1: cars the five graduates. Every year they graduated degree, they
- 22:09Speaker 1: get a car. Yeah it's a used car today fixed
- 22:13Speaker 1: and somebody donated. But then but their brothers that's come
- 22:17Speaker 1: from prison and can't get working and brothers be crime. Man.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I just missing great stories, man. Wow. Coming up next
- 22:24Speaker 1: it is Reverend Motown and Deacon def Jam. They're here
- 22:27Speaker 1: with church complaints if you don't want to miss it.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the our National News

- 22:46Speaker 1: the hour, entertainment news, Crazy Rich Asians is the number
- 22:49Speaker 1: one movie again at the weekend box office report. Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I haven't seen it either. Yeah, I'm gonna go check
- 22:57Speaker 1: it out though for sure, cause you ain't None of
- 22:59Speaker 1: the three things that was in the time. Well crazy,
- 23:03Speaker 1: come on now, but right now it's different from play.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Right now it's Monday, Robin Browtown, deacon death jammer here
- 23:11Speaker 1: with church complaints. Let's get it. What's wrong one more time?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Come on pass. I'm doing the best. I don't know
- 23:24Speaker 1: as wrong as week and yesterday at the Churchill had
- 23:28Speaker 1: a couple of fights that the church had to break
- 23:31Speaker 1: in the night before. Craighead trying to come to get
- 23:34Speaker 1: the air condition I was in there. Well you know,
- 23:37Speaker 1: we got bars on the air conditioning. Said that's lockdown.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I know, but we made a mistake on painting them copper.
- 23:43Speaker 1: And Craighead thought that was coping. That's what anyway, Now
- 23:48Speaker 1: that's matter, that's still but that's all right. They thought
- 23:53Speaker 1: it was. I've been up all night filling out police reproach.
- 23:59Speaker 1: The damn changed because I know the Crackhead report made
- 24:02Speaker 1: it so hard. Deacon right, was your son? It was
- 24:09Speaker 1: your son, Deacon that broke into church and was still
- 24:14Speaker 1: in the copper ball off the air conditional that he
- 24:18Speaker 1: was trying, but didn't I say we were going through
- 24:22Speaker 1: some issues with the boy. Didn't say that. Well, the
- 24:25Speaker 1: issues is at the church now, and if you didn't
- 24:28Speaker 1: have your business with your boy, I wouldn't been up
- 24:30Speaker 1: all night trying to save you. You act like it's
- 24:34Speaker 1: the fair time you feel a lot of policing for
- 24:36Speaker 1: In fact, well it ain't the first time out and
- 24:42Speaker 1: feel about the police report. It's the fifth time. And
- 24:45Speaker 1: four of them were for your boy, and the other
- 24:48Speaker 1: one was when your grand baby strolling all the pills
- 24:50Speaker 1: at the church. Now, we're not gonna keep keeping if
- 24:53Speaker 1: we're keeping tab up in him. Do you remember standing
- 24:58Speaker 1: the whole service because we didn't have no for you?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Did you notice how hot as hell it was yesterday?
- 25:11Speaker 1: What would you rather sit out with it? I'd rather
- 25:17Speaker 1: sit down and be hot, dude. I'd rather stand up
- 25:20Speaker 1: than to be hot and sitting down. Stars all touching
- 25:24Speaker 1: and pushing. Well, you work on your grand baby, and
- 25:30Speaker 1: I work on my side. Praise the Lord everybody. Now
- 25:35Speaker 1: we have other issues if you would like to hear it. Ah,
- 25:42Speaker 1: let's get this out to play first. Sister Doris fake geddrid.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I was signed language. Remember who does the sign doing
- 25:51Speaker 1: doing the service? She is cussing in sign when Sister
- 25:55Speaker 1: Loretta Cassabarry is giving the church ann asthment he's actually
- 25:59Speaker 1: talking about and the deaf members are laughing, but you
- 26:03Speaker 1: can't hear him. Well, I don't know what to tell
- 26:07Speaker 1: you if you can't hear yourself. Later, I didn't know that,
- 26:10Speaker 1: definitely wish from the inside. I just thought it would.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You couldn't pick up outside Northy. That's the church you
- 26:20Speaker 1: will be in the world of Trump. You can't hear yourself. Think,
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say that right there, all right, then
- 26:30Speaker 1: you can't hear yourself. Think you get hitting out with somebody.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Somebody got to tell you what's the way to go,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and they hear they sound you just want to move on.
- 26:43Speaker 1: But yeah, that one didn't work. Yeah, that's like blind
- 26:46Speaker 1: people trying to see the truth. The weak and we
- 26:53Speaker 1: Free Ministry is asking that everyone come this Sunday without wining.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Wigs are weeds, but we need you pass the top
- 27:02Speaker 1: of Sister Custar Dean Bridge water. They feel it's better
- 27:06Speaker 1: for her to wear hers. This can scare the kids,
- 27:10Speaker 1: especially since he has a beard and out. Yeah, I've
- 27:15Speaker 1: seen her without wig before church picnic. She was sitting
- 27:27Speaker 1: under a tree, bird in hand. She went to bat
- 27:32Speaker 1: in the booboo outer head and knocked the wig in
- 27:35Speaker 1: the potat to south. I don't sound like bastard today.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know which voice on
- 27:45Speaker 1: mute hell I said this. The Chapman's on now in
- 28:00Speaker 1: front of you, brought up the picnic. Here's what's going
- 28:03Speaker 1: on the labor all right. The neighbor Day Barbecue is
- 28:10Speaker 1: this coming Saturday. We are asking the following members to
- 28:16Speaker 1: not bring any food. Mr Doris Washington, no cream corn
- 28:23Speaker 1: this year, all right, bring paper plates. That was not
- 28:27Speaker 1: cream last year, and we're still trying to figure out
- 28:30Speaker 1: what that was. Uh, Brother Vernon McCaw, no barbecue chicking
- 28:36Speaker 1: from you this year. You should have told us those
- 28:40Speaker 1: were pigeons you had on the grill and not chicken.
- 28:46Speaker 1: They're still talking about jumping on you again about that.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Now here we go. Uh, Sister Cora Daniels, we do
- 28:53Speaker 1: not need Joe bake beans this year. What would make
- 28:57Speaker 1: you a lama beans? Kid means and navy beings in
- 29:02Speaker 1: there with the PenTile beings. That makes no sense. That's
- 29:07Speaker 1: the lance. But not leave. This is the one I
- 29:09Speaker 1: need you to address. We want everyone here to hear this.
- 29:14Speaker 1: We are not accepting anyone's potato salad. This year, we
- 29:19Speaker 1: are convinced that no one living knows how to make it.
- 29:22Speaker 1: An m all. This is a recipe that our ancestors
- 29:27Speaker 1: took within them and we must have lost it. If
- 29:30Speaker 1: you bring it, we will ask you to leave and
- 29:34Speaker 1: a possible ass whooping how's to take it from there? Well,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I'm here to make the announcement that, for the first
- 29:42Speaker 1: time at the Labor Day picnic, poor white people will
- 29:47Speaker 1: be there, yes, to replace the blacks that you just
- 29:54Speaker 1: called out. So Amy, Bell, Dave and Cody will be
- 30:02Speaker 1: at the barbie Q. Cody is gonna do his specialty
- 30:08Speaker 1: grills a keene. Then King Dave is with promising the
- 30:15Speaker 1: most delicious roasted corn all right, and then to really
- 30:22Speaker 1: get it kicking, Beth is bringing her potato sally day.
- 30:30Speaker 1: That's potato said it and I did, I just did.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I just say you can say it anyway you wanted.
- 30:37Speaker 1: That is stiffer with white folk making and it's potato
- 30:44Speaker 1: sallee days. What the white girl is gonna bring and
- 30:48Speaker 1: check him mouth because we haven't coming in last Amen
- 30:52Speaker 1: is bringing what we've been hearing so much about the
- 30:57Speaker 1: initious Brussels sprout. Oh Man, not bad. It won't that
- 31:04Speaker 1: you're gonna have it because we're having white folks at
- 31:07Speaker 1: the bob to this year. Well, thank you, pastor Motown. Okay,
- 31:15Speaker 1: coming up next, National headline and entertainment news. Yeah, you
- 31:22Speaker 1: need to lie down. We'll be right back after this.
- 31:25Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Morning Show. Ms Anne is
- 31:30Speaker 1: off today and topping today's headlines. Senator John McCain has
- 31:36Speaker 1: died of brain cancer at age eight one h John McCain,
- 31:40Speaker 1: Senator McCain died at his home in Arizona Saturday afternoon.
- 31:44Speaker 1: He was born on August twenty nine, nineteen thirty six,
- 31:48Speaker 1: in the Panama Canal Zone. He joined the Navy back
- 31:51Speaker 1: in nineteen sixty and was shot down over Vietnam in
- 31:55Speaker 1: nineteen sixty seven. He was taken prisoner and held captive
- 31:58Speaker 1: for five and a half year, undergoing beatings and other
- 32:01Speaker 1: inhumane treatment. He suffered permanent injuries as a result. Mr
- 32:06Speaker 1: McCain was elected to the House of Representatives in three
- 32:10Speaker 1: In nine seven, he became a U S Senator from Arizona.
- 32:14Speaker 1: He was a Republican nominee for president in two thousand eight,
- 32:18Speaker 1: but he and Sarah Palin lost the presidential election to
- 32:21Speaker 1: Democratic ticket of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. He was
- 32:25Speaker 1: diagnosed with a brain tumor in July of last year.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Mr McCain was a notable critic of President Trump, and
- 32:32Speaker 1: at one point as that the President not attend his funeral.
- 32:35Speaker 1: He was long known as the Senate's maverick for views
- 32:38Speaker 1: and and votes that did not stick to any simple
- 32:41Speaker 1: party line. He leaves behind his second wife, Cindy, and
- 32:44Speaker 1: seven children, most notably political commentator um his daughter Megan
- 32:49Speaker 1: McCain from the View TV show And here's a moment
- 32:53Speaker 1: when Senator John McCain talks about his call to President
- 32:56Speaker 1: elect Barack Obama on winning the two thousand eight presidential election.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Take a listen. A little while ago, I had the
- 33:03Speaker 1: honor of calling center of Barack Obama to congratulate him, Please,
- 33:11Speaker 1: to congratulate him on being elected the next president of
- 33:15Speaker 1: the country that we both love. In a contest as
- 33:19Speaker 1: long and difficult as this campaign has been. His success
- 33:22Speaker 1: alone commands my respect for his ability and perseverance, but
- 33:27Speaker 1: that he managed to do so by inspiring the hopes
- 33:30Speaker 1: of so many millions of Americans would once wrongly believe
- 33:33Speaker 1: that they had little at stake or little influence in
- 33:37Speaker 1: the election of an American president. Is something I deeply
- 33:40Speaker 1: admire and commend him for achieving. Well, that's kind of
- 33:45Speaker 1: what he was known for. You know. He he he
- 33:49Speaker 1: really was, and he walked by the lead of w Yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 1: prisoner of war. Yeah. They don't want to kill you.
- 34:02Speaker 1: They want to torture every single day. And that's why
- 34:05Speaker 1: he was against it. He was. He was against torture. Um,
- 34:09Speaker 1: just like President Obama was. But um when he was president.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And then he gets insulted by President bonespurs and Trump
- 34:16Speaker 1: don't respect the fact that he was a p people
- 34:19Speaker 1: that didn't get caught. That don't make sense to me. Man,
- 34:21Speaker 1: that's one of the most idiotic things you can say. Um,
- 34:25Speaker 1: nobody gets caught as a pow. Nobody gets caught. Man.
- 34:30Speaker 1: They have footage of him being pulled out the river
- 34:33Speaker 1: by the group that when he fell into the river
- 34:37Speaker 1: when he had dejected out of his plane he fell
- 34:39Speaker 1: into They have footage of him being grabbed by the
- 34:43Speaker 1: villagers mad they beat him in the village photo soldiers
- 34:47Speaker 1: got there. He had led an extraordinary life and then
- 34:52Speaker 1: after that he went on to you know, become just
- 34:55Speaker 1: a politician that everyone loved, you know, and they loved
- 34:58Speaker 1: him because he was outspoke, gonna, because he fought for
- 35:01Speaker 1: what he tried to do the right thing. Yeah. Yeah,
- 35:04Speaker 1: he knew what his party was, but he cared about
- 35:07Speaker 1: the country more than the party. Yeah. Those days are done. Yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 1: The day he spoke up from Barack Obama at the
- 35:13Speaker 1: town meeting, yeah, he was a Muslim. Yeah, grabbed that Mike.
- 35:22Speaker 1: He said, no, no, we're not doing that. Yeah. And
- 35:25Speaker 1: speaking of President Obama, he issued a statement praising Senator
- 35:29Speaker 1: to McCain's public service as a patriotic obligation. Sentator to
- 35:33Speaker 1: McCain will lie in state in Arizona and Washington. President
- 35:37Speaker 1: George W. Bush and Barack Obama are expected to speak
- 35:40Speaker 1: at his service in Washington, and President Trump is not invited. Invited. Yeah,
- 35:48Speaker 1: that's that's saying something about you. If somebody on the
- 35:51Speaker 1: deathbed said that they don't want you at you at
- 35:54Speaker 1: the funeral. At the funeral, that says a lot when
- 35:58Speaker 1: your last words is that I don't know about you. Right,
- 36:04Speaker 1: And he was so you know, he was just outspoken.
- 36:06Speaker 1: He was one of the few Republicans that spoke out again, Yeah,
- 36:11Speaker 1: stood up, Yeah, Donald Trump. But but but you know
- 36:15Speaker 1: what if if one of your dying wishes as you
- 36:19Speaker 1: a patriot, and this guy was considered a real patriot
- 36:23Speaker 1: that you're you want to and you've planning your funeral,
- 36:26Speaker 1: you took the time he I don't want him at
- 36:28Speaker 1: my funeral, right there? Man, That that that says, this
- 36:32Speaker 1: is a guy that's so wrong on so many levels.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I'm speaking about the president right now, and he just said, Hey, man,
- 36:39Speaker 1: I don't need that. I love this country. I fought
- 36:42Speaker 1: for this country. I was in a position to die
- 36:45Speaker 1: for this country. Your feet hurt your own goal? Okay, cool, Yeah,
- 36:49Speaker 1: but but you're tripping because I got caught. You like
- 36:52Speaker 1: people that don't get caught. Yeah, you say to say,
- 37:00Speaker 1: if you play back what this man has said, I
- 37:02Speaker 1: don't care what's happening with the economy that he's benefiting
- 37:06Speaker 1: from all of this stuff that Obama did. I don't
- 37:08Speaker 1: care what the economy looks like. For you to think
- 37:11Speaker 1: that this is to who you want leading your country,
- 37:14Speaker 1: you have something's wrong with you. If this is what
- 37:18Speaker 1: you think is proper leadership for our children to look
- 37:22Speaker 1: at as president as president United States, If you think
- 37:26Speaker 1: that this is okay, something's wrong with you. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:30Speaker 1: and now it's not supposed to look like this. Also
- 37:34Speaker 1: other news, sadly, another mass shooting in Florida. Multiple fatalities
- 37:40Speaker 1: during a shooting at a John Madden gaming tournament. This
- 37:44Speaker 1: happened in Jacksonville, Florida, and the suspect is dead. Uh.
- 37:49Speaker 1: The young people at the event said that they were
- 37:51Speaker 1: just trying to have fun there, and of course we
- 37:53Speaker 1: will be praying for the victims and their families. Yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 1: I know, very very sad. All right's witching gears coming
- 38:01Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Now, get ready

- 56:03Speaker 1: right now. Let's go next. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 56:06Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is. It is
- 56:08Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter, subject I cheated twice and had three
- 56:12Speaker 1: outside children. Dear Stephen Shirley. My wife and I met
- 56:16Speaker 1: when we were twelve years old, and we got married
- 56:19Speaker 1: when we were twenty years old. We've been married for
- 56:22Speaker 1: fifteen years and we were very happy until recently. Now
- 56:27Speaker 1: I need help to save my marriage. Three years ago,
- 56:30Speaker 1: I cheated on my wife and got another woman pregnant.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I told my wife about the affair and the baby.
- 56:37Speaker 1: My wife was going to divorce me, but we went
- 56:40Speaker 1: to marriage counseling and she had a change of heart.
- 56:43Speaker 1: My wife welcomed the baby into our family and she
- 56:46Speaker 1: has grown to love the child. A year later, I
- 56:49Speaker 1: had sex with my wife's stepmother. My wife and her
- 56:52Speaker 1: stepmother are the same age, and her stepmother is very attractive.
- 56:57Speaker 1: It was a one night stand with the step mother,
- 57:00Speaker 1: but she got pregnant and had twins. We passed the
- 57:04Speaker 1: pregnancy off as if she were pregnant by her husband,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and there was no reason for anyone to question it.
- 57:10Speaker 1: We never told anyone about our big secret. Well, it
- 57:14Speaker 1: all came out in the worst way. About three months ago,
- 57:18Speaker 1: my wife and her stepmother got into a really bad argument,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and the stepmother told my wife that the twins were
- 57:25Speaker 1: actually her stepson's and not her brothers. She told my
- 57:29Speaker 1: wife that she has had she has d n A
- 57:32Speaker 1: a DNA test to prove it. All hell broke loose.
- 57:35Speaker 1: I admitted to my wife and my wife's father that
- 57:38Speaker 1: the twins are my sons. My wife hasn't spoken to
- 57:42Speaker 1: me since then. My wife's father filed for divorce. I'm
- 57:46Speaker 1: afraid my wife is going to file for divorce too.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I don't want to get a divorce. What can I
- 57:51Speaker 1: do to get my wife back? Please advise? What can
- 57:55Speaker 1: I do to get my wife back? You ask nothing, nothing, nothing,
- 58:02Speaker 1: There's nothing you can do. Nothing. It's too late. You
- 58:06Speaker 1: messed up. I mean you messed up now once but twice.
- 58:10Speaker 1: You don't deserve your wife. You do not deserve her.
- 58:13Speaker 1: She took you back the first time after you cheated
- 58:16Speaker 1: and had a kid. And instead of you being grateful
- 58:18Speaker 1: to God and straightening up your act and doing the
- 58:21Speaker 1: right thing, you go out and do it again to
- 58:24Speaker 1: someone who's close to home with your step mom, really,
- 58:28Speaker 1: your wife's stepmother. I think you're disrespectful. I think you're crazy,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and you know what else, I think you're pretty arrogant
- 58:35Speaker 1: at this point to even think that you still have
- 58:37Speaker 1: a chance after what you've done. Uh. Like I said
- 58:40Speaker 1: in the beginning, nothing nothing, nothing. Only God, okay himself
- 58:46Speaker 1: can can save you now. And and that is it.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I mean, you say you don't want a divorce, but
- 58:51Speaker 1: you've done everything everything possible to kill and destroy your marriage.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I'm surprised your wife is still there. I think that
- 58:59Speaker 1: you're a selfish and you're reckless with it. And just remember,
- 59:03Speaker 1: you reap what you saw, and you've been doing this
- 59:06Speaker 1: behind your wife's back, and this is the result of
- 59:08Speaker 1: your actions. So if she, if she doesn't take you back,
- 59:12Speaker 1: that's what you deserve at this point, Steve, I don't
- 59:19Speaker 1: know why you wrote exactly damn letter? What what? What
- 59:25Speaker 1: do you want us to do? We sir, we can't
- 59:30Speaker 1: help you, sir. This ain't therapy. The only one can
- 59:39Speaker 1: help you helped you already when he put it on
- 59:42Speaker 1: her heart to take you back. Let me read to
- 59:46Speaker 1: you what you said. Sometimes you need to hear this
- 59:49Speaker 1: out loud. Three years ago, I cheated on my wife.
- 59:53Speaker 1: I got another woman pregnant. I told my wife about
- 59:55Speaker 1: the fan and the baby. My wife was going to
- 59:58Speaker 1: divorce me, but when with age counseling, she had to
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: change her heart. My wife welcomed the baby into our
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: family and she's grown to love the child. So you figured,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: with all this happy going on, all this new love,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: extra family members, your dumb mass thought you are to
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: go out and get some more kids. Oh yeah, match counseling.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Then grown to love her and it's raised it. She's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: a part of my family. Let's get another, get get
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: some more family. Now, so you go out, you don't
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: get anybody. You get her stepmother, which is the same
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: age as your wife, which means she's married to an
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: older man, which is your father in law. You sleep
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: with her, she get pregnant. Hair twigs got this old
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: ask dude thinking he's still bringing it, know the new
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you know why he grappling with what are you doing up?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: He thinks he thinking he handed it, he bringing it.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: He think he got it, gonna win on but he don't.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: And now he got to deal with that. This is crazy, man,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: your mother in law is pregnant. Now what happened was
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: your wife and your mother in law got into big
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: argument and the news came out, as you say, in
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the worst way. She told my way that listen to
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: this part though this came out in the worst way.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: My wife and her stepmother got into a really bad argument,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: and the stepmother told my wife that the twins was
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: actually her stepsons and not her brothers. Where was you at?
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I don't need to know what you're standing there when
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: she said, you're watching your wife argue with your step
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: mama to you to slept with that pregnant with kids
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: in yours and then she tell her you don't know
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: what you're talking about. I got news for you, your brothers,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: then your step sons. Me and I had his baby
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: he should live and art him and started left town.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: How you're able to type this letter is beyond man,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: because I figured we're in the Department eight team flows high.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: If I die about this, wonder it'll feel better than me.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Step in share this in for me, right, all right? Sorry,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: we weren't gonna say nothing. Hang on, hang on, I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: know you have more. We're gonna have part We'll have
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up Steve after Right
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes. Carla is going to recaps uh
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: last night's episode of Power Who Speaking Recaps. Here's the
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: recap Steve of today's Strawberry letter. Let's get to it
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: into The subject is I cheated twice and had three

- 1:03:39Speaker 1: got another girl pregnant, came in, told his wife about
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the fan and the baby. Wife gonna leave him. They
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: go to counselor they work it out. She accepts the baby.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: She accept the baby into the family and loves the
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: child like it's her own. Okay, you go out again.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: This time you get the girl's mama. You sleep with
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: her mama cause they the same age they hold as daddy.

- 1:10:02Speaker 1: love the first child, and you go out and do
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: it again, no, sir, And and here's the first kids
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: just getting in close. And here you come messing up
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: every day. Right alright, guys, we gotta get out of here.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: You can email us your Instagram US, Yeah, yeah, email
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: us or Instagram. What's your thoughts on today's strawberry letter
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey f M. Coming up in about ten minutes.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Carla is going to recap last night's powerful episode of
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: How We're right after this? Yeah, you're listening to the
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Carla is here. We
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: can't wait for this with today's recap of last night's
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: episode of Power. Good. Let me just say this. If
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: you didn't watch Power last night, too bad. We're going
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: to do well. Then talk about this, talk about this.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: I'll be But you had a week off to watch this.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I mean, you know to last week. So let's go chill.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I just don't know where to start. Let's start at
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the beginning. So Ghost and Tommy made a plan to
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: set up Dre for the murder of Ray. Ray, Angela
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: and Tasha decided to set up Kanaan. Tommy introduced his
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: daddy Terresse and his wife Connie to his girlfriend Keisha.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Molly didn't know huh yeah yeah yeah, So Connie didn't
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: know if they could really trust Keisha, but Tommy stood
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: up for his girl and he made it perfectly clear
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: that Keisha was his ride of diet check and Keisha
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: then she got served with papers to appear before the
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: grand jury. But she let her best friend know Tasha
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: that she's real one sided with this friendship. It's a
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: one way street going on, and she needs to fix
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: that way. Carlat to interrupt you, But didn't Connie think
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: say what Connie said when she first saw Kesha in
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the kitchen when she boy boy, she said, look, you
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: gotta cook right, I'm not the help here. Yeah, all right?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: So moving on, Ghost told Councilman Take that Dre was
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: selling drugs back at Club Truth, and so he wanted
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Consuliman Take to know you can't trust him, and you'll,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: y'a don't know if you want to really be associated
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: with your boy like that. Dre and Ghost talked to
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Kane and killing Diego, and then Dre tells Ghosts that
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: somebody in his camp kind of portrayed him. So moving
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: on to Tyreek, let's get to it, Tyreek, come on, Steve,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: you with me? Boy with Tyreek? Tyreek? Hewn pop oh
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: and he did, well, you're onto something because I was
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: ready to kill Tyreek for a moment. But as you know,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Tasha and Angela, they decided to set up Kana for
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: the murder of Ray Ray. Tasha will do anything to
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: protect her children protect herself. So Tyreek basically told his
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: mom he didn't trust Angela and that Kanaan had been
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: good to him. Here is Tasha's response, pitty cat, ain't
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: nobody in the history of the world's been better to
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: you than me. I'm your mother right there. That's you
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: don't have to say nothing else. I'm your mama. That's
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: it's it to him than me. I'm your mom my, mama, mama.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: He was put in the trick bag because he had
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: to make a decision because Mama turned at it. So,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: now who he gonna take all this out on? Go
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: end up blame it that day. He's has blamed his
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: father for a lot of the problems, but calling he
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: just started believing in him on this last episode. Yeah,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: he kind of a little bit of light that he
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: kind of believes who his dad really is. Now, Yeah,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: there you go, Tommy perfect. Perfect. So then Tyreek went
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: to hang out with his boy Kanaan. Steve, so listen carefully, now, Tyreek,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: he was kind of tripping selling drugs that yes, yeah,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: get though, yeah, and Tyreek listen, Steve. Tyreek planted his
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: mom's gun and Kanan's trunk the same gun that was
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: used to kill ray Ray. Tyreek actually used the same
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: gun to kill ray Ray. Tyreek told Kanaan that he
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: was wrong for killing his son because you know, Kanan
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: killed this son. So Tyrek had this moment with Kanaan. Meanwhile,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Tasha called the police reported her son missing. They pulled
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Kanan over. They asked Tyreek if he was being held
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: against his will. He said, yeah, that's it. All went
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: to tray Kanan right there. He betrayed Kanan right there.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: And Kanan had made it perfectly clear that he was
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: not going back to prison. He's made that. He made
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: that perfectly clear to sense. Steve Kanan is fifty cent
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: fifty Si. Curtis Jackson lost his mind last night. In
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: that episode Heed Cops, he played he acted yea, and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: he killed a bunch of cops. I was just learning
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: to speak this sense and it was just not Now.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: It's a language that's a special language to speak. I'm
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: just getting it down. It's a tight teeth language that
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: your teeth are gritted to get and you know, and like,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I'm just getting it right, girls different right, dude, goals, dude.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: So this is tight teeth speak a language. It's tight teeth.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: It's a special place in South Carolina where a lot
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: of those people come from. They speak tight teeth on that.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: And if you don't know, Steve, can you speak. You
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: can beat for the money. You hustle back. You never
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: separate your teeth. Never let me wrap this thing up
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: for me right out of time, so as you hear.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: As you know, Kanaan was shot and killed by police.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: He tried to drive off, but he died from his
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: gunshot wounds. And I told y'all not to trust Proctor,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: didn't I tell y'all that the next callery not to
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: trust him. All right? You to talk about the power
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: last night? Proctor to come out with a brand new
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: dishwashing liquids. So y'all gamble still just random, just stupid. Yeah,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I tell you what I bet you gonna. I'll talk
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: about power, all right, Carla, thank you. Coming up in
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: the top of the hour, heavyweight boxer walks out of
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: the ring and Steve Harvey worked the drive through at
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Chick fil A over the weekend. We'll talk about it
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: right after this. Yeah, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Show,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: all right? Did you guys see on Friday night the
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: crowd was set to see a heavyweight about Curtis Hopper Harper.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Curtis Harper is his name. He was set to face
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: f A A jog Bot in a sixth round bout
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: on the undercard of the PBC in Minneapolis. Both fighters
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: made their entrances. They appeared ready to fight. However, right
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: after the bell rang, Curtis Harper just left the ring.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: He left the ring and walked back up the ramp
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: to the dressing room. No, it was a long yeah,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: it was like walking in the first round. People. The
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: people even started tom quickly. Yeah, they rang the bell,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: he walked out, they went out, They got the instructions
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: from the relf. They go back to the corner the
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: relf ready ready. He stepped hiss right out that rage
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: down the do you so does he get paid? No?
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: But I mean it started because the bear wrong. So
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: do you still get paid? No? He didn't throw punch
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: gold one of your shows. Walked out there and then
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: go back in the back to have another plan. He
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: never fight professionally ever. Again, now gets why did he
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: looked at the other guy? That's why he left. He
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: was pretty big. Now I heard that he left because
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: it was overpaid, dispute that, But that ain't the way
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: you fix it. I'm telling you. I could tell by
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: the way he was walking. He using that you didn't
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: pay me as an excuse that. But we got in
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: that ring, that big boy he was fighting with Chisel.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: He walked under that. Today he didn't feel like he
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: was gonna make it work. I'm up out of him.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I'm going to the interview right now, I'm at the table,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I'm at the right I ain't everybody. We're here with
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Curtis Harper. Some things happened in the ring a few
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: minutes ago. We're in a dressing room with him right
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: now to find out what really happened. Why he walked
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: out of the ring. Didn't even like Curtis, what what happened? Man? What? What? What? Down? Man?
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Cut the glues over? Man? You gotta cut him out?
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I mean you cut the gluves. Now you want your
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: gloves out? Cut my hands and hot walking out the ring?
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I mean, what happened? And justin somebody bring me some walk?
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Why are you thirsty? You ain't doing the long walk? Curl,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: It was a long walk. Yeah, why didn't you fight
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: the man? I mean you were there and what happened?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I know, what's your backup plan? What? You what? What? What?
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: What plan? You talking about? Missing the plan that you
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: have with now that you're not gonna fight anymore? What
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: did your backup plan for life? What are you gonna
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: do if you're not gonna fight? What if you you
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: know I ain't thought this out? You don't? You just
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you just mean a look, look at report, Just just move.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: I made just be doing so okay. You know, I
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: know it had never been done before. Uh you know,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: you know I walked right past Sugary. I heard him
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: and say, I've never seen this before. To look at me? Now?
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Can I ask you this question? In your long walk,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: was there a part in the walk when you said
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: let me go back and fight? No? No, I was
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: certain I was. I was walking to shortly got me
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: a very confident stride going. You know, I heard some
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: chatter from the crowd jumping up on that ramp to
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: get some of this, so I just kept on walking.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. We can't call it a rematch.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Would you would you like to set the fight up again,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: because he's willing. That's not a rematch though, Yeah, it
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: wouldn't be a rematch. Would you like to reschedule to
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: fight and fight him again? Maybe saying don't you know?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I just don't want Why did he
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: leave in the first class? Why did you leave in
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: the first place? I left because I had to get
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: out of there. Why did you see her ass whooping coming? Yeah?
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: See it's always one of y'all little punk porters. Don't
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: blame us. Don't blame the press. You don't want to
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: always get more into it than it is. Why why
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: that's so hard to beleeve? You ain't never You ain't
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: never walked out of nothing before. Oh yes, I'm oh, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: my job. Yeah, all right, I'm gonna give you real
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: what you're called. I kill say. I heard the toilet
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: running when I left the rag, and what I was
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: in the rag, I just said to myself, click that happen?
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Stop that come we come bright in your whole trash round,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: be just your flood. Worried about the water, Yeah, I said,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: you worried about the water in the dressing room. I
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: need I need somebody. What did the reporter ship? He said,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Are you worried about the water? Yeah, believe it or not? Right,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: imagine that. Yeah, to turn this Curtis, This Curtis who
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: hired you did? But I want to ask you the
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: last question. Were you ever afraid? Was it? Well? You know,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: you know, you know what, I never wore fear, fear
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: for anything. Wasn't afraid because once I went back to
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: that corner and I committed myself, I stuck my head
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: off that ring. First. I know he can't hit me
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: behind the so once I got my leg over the
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: rope and got my ass out of them, you know,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: once that ass got on the other side of rope,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I mean, why would he come out there to get this?
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: He didn't work this, Mr Curtis, Sir, we gotta go.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: He'd followed me coming up in two and got it
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: up in here trying to make it look like I'm
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: scared he saw me walking off. If he had wanted this,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: he had asked me to come back. The fight was
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: in the ring, sir, uh, not outside of the ring.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty after the hour, we'll tell you
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: about former First Lady Michelle Obama's voter registration initiative. Right
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the stew Former First Lady
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Michelle Obama has teamed up with several celebrities to launch
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: a voter registration initiative ahead of this year's midterm elections.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: When We All Vote, a new national, nonpartisan, not for
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: profit brings together citizens, institutions, and organizations to spark a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: conversation about the rights and responsibilities in shaping our democracy
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: and the responsibility of registering and voting. If you need
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: to register before the midterm elections, go to When We
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: All Vote dot org to register to vote. What are
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: the midterm elections? You ask, the federal elections, in which
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: voters choose members of Congress, but not a new president.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Voters elect one third of all U S Senators and
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: all four and thirty five members of the U S.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: House of Representatives during the mid terms Tuesday, November six,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: or mid term elections, and the midterms determined which political party,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Democratic or Republican will control each Chamber of Commerce for
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: the next two years. And listen, folks, we've got to
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: get out and vote, because as long as the Republicans
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: control the House in the Senate, they're going to not
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: do what's right for the country. They're gonna do what's
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: right for their party, their power. The position is the
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: three ps that that that dominate politics, power, party, and position.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: That's all that they're protecting. The people ain't in there.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: We've got to get out and vote because what's happening
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: is Donald Trump is making policy and like I'm telling you,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: the Dhaka Act is not settled, the wall is unsettled.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: The way he treats people, banning Muslims from the country,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: you know, talking about there's good people on both sides.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: When you're in a racial organization, you're not a good person.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry, can't be. And what then happened is because
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: he is the president, so many Republicans are now in
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: a just protecting position, power and party. They know he's wrong,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: they know this guy is not presidential, but it has nothing.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: If they can't lose their party, their power, they can't
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: lose it. Man, Some got to get out and vote
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: because as this molder investigation grows and they find out
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: that Trump was involved in some type of illegal campaign funding,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: or he was involving anything within Russian meetings, if he
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: knew anything about it, and that they can find any
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: form of collusion, which they haven't. But if they come
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: up with anything, then they'll have the power to vote
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: to impeach the Demo Congress, because the scary thing about
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: that if he's not the president, Mike Pence. Ah. But
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: that's why a voice like John McCain's will be so
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: miss Senator John mccains because he, you know, had the current,
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: He had the courage to speak up, you know, when
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: he didn't believe in things and when things weren't right,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: even though he's a Republican as as as the president
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: right now in the House and the Senate. So he'll
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: be missed, and and and and and that's true, Sherley.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: And one of the main things in this whole thing
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: about Trump is so concerned with the validity of his
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: presidency that he'll he entertain nothing about conclude collusion. And
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: he's also fighting to say that Russia and no one
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: else attempted to dabble with the election, and the proof
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: is that if they did that. But he don't even
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: want that to get said because then it will make
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: it look like he legitimately at the president. All Right,
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to Steve topping today's headlines.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: Senator John McCain has died of brain cancer at age
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: eighty one. UH John McCain, Senator McCain died at his
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: home in Arizona Saturday afternoon. He was born on August
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: twenty nine, nineteen thirty six, in the Panama Canal Zone.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: He joined the Navy back in nineteen sixty and was
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: shot down over Vietnam in nineteen sixty seven. He was
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: taken prisoner and held captive for five and a half years,
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: undergoing beatings and other in humane treatment. He suffered permanent
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: injuries as a result. Mr McCain was elected to the
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: House of Representatives in nineteen eighty three. In nineteen eighty seven,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: he became a U S Senator from Arizona. He was
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: a Republican nominee for president in two thousand eight, but
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: he and Sarah Palin lost the presidential election to Democratic
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: ticket of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. He was diagnosed
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: with a brain tumor in July of last year. Mr
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: McCain was a notable critic of President Trump, and at
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: one point as that the President not attend his funeral.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: He was long known as the Senate's maverick for views
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: and and votes that did not stick to any simple
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: party line. He leaves behind his second wife, Cindy, and
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: seven children, most notably political commentator Um his daughter Megan
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: McCain from the View TV show. And here's a moment
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: when Senator John McCain talks about his call to President
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: elect Barack Obama on winning the two thousand and eight
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: presidential election. Take a listen. A little while ago, I
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: had the honor of calling Senator Barack Obama to congratulate him, Please,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: to congratulate him on being elected the next president of
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: the country that we both love. In a contest as
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: long and difficult as this campaign has been, his success
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: alone commands my respect for his ability and persevere but
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: that he managed to do so by inspiring the hopes
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: of so many mans of Americans would once strongly believe
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: that they had little at stake or a little influence
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: in the election of an American president is something I
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: deeply admire and commend him for achieving. Well, that's kind
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: of what he was known for. You know. He was legit.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: He he really was, and he he walked by the
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: lead of his own Democrat He a p o W. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Prisoner of war. Yeah. They don't want to kill you.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: They want to torture every single day. And that's why
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: he was against it. He was he was against torture.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: And then he gets insulted by President Bonespurs and Trump
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: don't respect the fact that he was a p People
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: that didn't get caught. That don't make sense to be
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: man that that's one of the most idiotic things you
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: can say. Um, nobody gets caught as a pow. He
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: fell into their footage of him being grabbed by the
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: villagers mad they beat him in the village. Pho, the
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: soldiers got there. Yeah, he had led an extraordinary life.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: And then after that he went on to you know,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: become just a politician that everyone loved, you know, and
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: they loved him because he was outspoken and because he
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: he tried to do the right thing. Yeah, he knew
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: what his party was, but he cared about the country
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: more than the party. Yeah, those days it does. Yeah.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: Day he spoke up from Barack Obama at that town meeting,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: was trying to say that he was a Muslim. Yeah,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: he grabbed that Mike. He said, no, no doing that.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with the clothes. Uh. Today
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: has been a good day. Um, we'll be back to
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: closing the show with Steve's closing remarks coming up at
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: forty nine after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: morning all right. Here we are Steve, last break of
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: the day. It's been a good day, good money. You know.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: I guess a lot of things have been on my
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: mind in terms of closing remarks because I tried to
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: really really keep people, especially good people who are trying
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: to stay on the straight and narrow and the positive,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: and it gets difficult at times. I had a young
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: man text me, uh the other day and said, big dog,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: I just need some of your wisdom. Man. I've been
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: doing everything. Man, I've been praying. My girl is tripping.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: I don't know how to handle it. It just seems like, man,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: that God ain't letting this thing happen quick enough for me. Man.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: And I'm thinking about going back to my old ways, man,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: but I don't want to. And so I was just
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: talking to him about a way to handle I said him,
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: send him a couple of things, you know, And he
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: was talking about how hard it was and just told him,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: I said, look, man, being successful is very very difficult.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: If being successful were easy, come on how many times
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: have you heard that? I don't even have to say
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: it again, everybody would be it. But when you're going
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: through something, folks, you have to understand that you're being tested.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: You're being processed and tested. You're being pushed through the furnace,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: you're being molded shaped. Sometime you get real hot in
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: that furnace and you turn liquid, and it looked like
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be nothing. But but he just pulling
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: you into this mold. That's all he doing. All the
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: trials and tribulations and hard times and difficulties that you
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: find yourself facing, he just molding you. Man. He just
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: getting you ready to receive it. Because when you get it,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: people are gonna come after it. When you get it,
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: people are gonna want it. When you get it, you're
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: gonna draw attention all these things you asking God for.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: When He give it to you, you gotta be ready
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: to receive it. And you got to know how to
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: appreciate it and handle it when you get it, and
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: you gotta be able to stay in all the storms
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: that come with it. Because to who much has given,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: much is required. So guess what He requires a lot
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: of you before he give it to you. It ain't
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: just to who much has given much is required. Meaning
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: after those of you who get something that you owe
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: it to a bunch of people, you ain't gotta look
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: at it just like that, to who much has given
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: much is required. That great thing that you're asking God for,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: that incredible thing that you want him to see you through, Well,
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: when he give it to you and he see you
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: through it, he gonna require something of you to get
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: through it. Now when he gets through it, Now, guess what.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: You've been tested. You've been five baptized, you've been ran
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: through the meal. You can handle it. Now, you appreciate it. Now,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: you worked for it. Now you're earned it, and you're
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: gonna respect it a little bit more than somebody who
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: was just given something. So when you're going through something,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: you're being tested. You've been pushed through the furnace. You
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: come out on the other side, you're gonna be fine,
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: but you can't quit for you get to the other side.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: One of the things I said this young man was
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: a plaque that a guy sent me when I was
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: going through some really dark moments in my life. The
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: plaque said, if you're going through hell, don't stop keep going.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: If you're going through hell, don't stop keep going. Why
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: would you stop? In Helle, Let's think about that. And
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: you gotta watch the people in your life, man, because
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: you got If you're gonna allow people to make more
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: withdrawals than deposits into your life, you're gonna soon being
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: the negative. Sometimes. You got to know when to close
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: the accounts. You got some people in your life where
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: you need to close the accounts. No, no, no, no,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: No more accounts receivable, no more accounts, pay a boat,
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: no more calling me every time you get dark in
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: your life, and then with something happened, mind, I can't
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: find you, no where. No more one sided friendships, no more.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: I'm giving and you taking. And when I need something,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: you ain't there. Oh excuse I read something most news
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: page and I copied it and I don't sent it
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: to a couple of people already. Excuse me for bothering you,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: my bad. I'm sorry. I forgot. You only fool with
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: me when you need something. Oh excuse me, I'm sorry,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: my bad. I don't mean to bother you. I forgot.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: You only fool with me when you need something. If
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: you allow people to make more withdrawals than deposits in
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: your life, you're gonna soon being the negative. You got
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: to know when to close the accounts. Everybody in your
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: life right now, you don't need them. You don't need them,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: not everybody. Some people just ain't good for you. I
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: don't know if you noticed it or not. You keep
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: trying to hang on in there and believe that they're
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: gonna be better. You can pray for them too, but see,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: but some people just who they are now. Prayer changes thing.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: But if they ain't praying for themselves, I don't really
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: know how they work. There are some people that can
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: explain that I can't. I just know. Man, when you
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: keep on telling somebody something, they ain't listening, and they
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: keep bringing your bad news, and they always the one
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: man that you hear what they said about you. Man,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: you know what I need. Man, you ain't gonna believe
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: what happened to me. Man, I can't get around that today.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: I'm tied up. You're done. If you allow people to
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: make more withdrawals than deposits in your life, you're gonna
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: soon being the negative. You have to know when the
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: clothes the accounts. Just close the accounts. You'll be better
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: for it. Those are my clothing memore up all right
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: now wow, and yeah, you can go ahead and drop it.
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: You can go ahead because some people need to hear
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: that very I don't know a person that's trying to
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: be anything that don't need to hear that. Can I
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: tell you one more thing? Yes, I have a great weekend.
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: We'll be in a three day weekend coming up. I'm
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: not mad co f. This is sand week right here.
