- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks. Things in the stove, not true good to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the other. Please, I don't join me. You turn you're
- 1:10Speaker 1: going to do? You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out. Turn the water. The
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got me? Come come on your thing? Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o, man on
- 2:14Speaker 1: man Wow. I think about all the things God has
- 2:19Speaker 1: done for me is overwhelming at times. And I want
- 2:22Speaker 1: everybody to have that feeling and to sharing that feeling
- 2:26Speaker 1: of completion and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because
- 2:33Speaker 1: I formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: That's it. That's it. I can't tell you as anything
- 2:41Speaker 1: else else. You know, I've always had a strong work ethic.
- 2:44Speaker 1: My father put that in me. My father's conversations with
- 2:48Speaker 1: me growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't
- 2:52Speaker 1: be lazy, be a man, do what you say you're
- 2:54Speaker 1: gonna do YadA, YadA, YadA, YadA YadA. Man, I was
- 2:57Speaker 1: so tired of my father at times, I was going mad,
- 3:00Speaker 1: And what is with this dude right here? Man, every
- 3:03Speaker 1: time we have a conversation, it's got to be about work,
- 3:05Speaker 1: it's got to be about you know, man, doing your best,
- 3:09Speaker 1: trying hard, you know, working, being honest, do what you
- 3:13Speaker 1: say you're gonna do. But that was his mission. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how much I appreciate that now. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can't even I can't even put it into words when
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think about my old man and what he was
- 3:26Speaker 1: to me, and I just saw, Man, I'm so grateful
- 3:31Speaker 1: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:34Speaker 1: my father was a fighter. He fought on the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You know. My father used to come home with his
- 3:42Speaker 1: with his clothes toe off of him. He put a
- 3:44Speaker 1: fresh shirt on and he go back. My mom used
- 3:47Speaker 1: to talk about my father fighting all the times, Nick,
- 3:50Speaker 1: why you are always fighting? You know a little bit
- 3:53Speaker 1: of that rubbed off on me too, you know that
- 3:55Speaker 1: that kind of got into me and I didn't understand
- 3:57Speaker 1: that either. But then on the same term, my mother
- 4:01Speaker 1: was a Sunday school teacher for forty years, so her
- 4:03Speaker 1: conversation was never about fighting or anything. It was all
- 4:06Speaker 1: about love and understanding and doing another that you would
- 4:10Speaker 1: add and do unto you. My mom was a Sunday
- 4:12Speaker 1: school teacher, so I learned about faith. I had to
- 4:14Speaker 1: go to Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting,
- 4:18Speaker 1: quire rehearsal. You know, I was a churchman so much
- 4:22Speaker 1: I was actually looking that's got to be an alternative
- 4:25Speaker 1: to this, you know, I want you know, And I
- 4:28Speaker 1: was a little kid even I was thinking at one
- 4:30Speaker 1: point maybe all to looking all because it's got to
- 4:33Speaker 1: be something cooler than this going on every day. It
- 4:36Speaker 1: got that crazy for me. But the balance between those
- 4:39Speaker 1: two people created who I am today. And I want
- 4:43Speaker 1: you to understand that the things that you are in
- 4:46Speaker 1: your past have helped create who you are today. If
- 4:50Speaker 1: you view it the right way, everything that has happened
- 4:54Speaker 1: to you in your past has happened to you for
- 4:57Speaker 1: a reason, and it's usually for the good if you
- 5:02Speaker 1: view it that way. But if you, on the other hand,
- 5:07Speaker 1: or a type of person who can't move forward because
- 5:10Speaker 1: you are allowing your past to stop you from having
- 5:13Speaker 1: your future, then you, my friend, are doing a disservice
- 5:19Speaker 1: to your life. You are not honoring God's blessings. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: are not taking advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and
- 5:28Speaker 1: experience of your life. Example, if you are a woman
- 5:36Speaker 1: and you are always talking about a formal relationship, what
- 5:42Speaker 1: he did to me. If he had not did this
- 5:45Speaker 1: to me, I wouldn't be in this place today. I
- 5:50Speaker 1: thought I had a man. Nah, I ain't got no
- 5:53Speaker 1: man a la la la la la. If you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: he came along and I was doing just swell, he
- 6:02Speaker 1: just came in and he just lied to me. He
- 6:05Speaker 1: lied to me. Now that he did this to me,
- 6:08Speaker 1: Then he cheated, then he left. All of that that
- 6:11Speaker 1: you're saying can very well be true. Have you thought
- 6:17Speaker 1: that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom, that he
- 6:25Speaker 1: knew that you had made a mistake in picking him anyway?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Maybe he knew you had made a mistake in saying
- 6:34Speaker 1: yes or I do to him anyway, or come on
- 6:39Speaker 1: move in? And so what he did was based on
- 6:45Speaker 1: your decision now to say yes, I do or come on,
- 6:49Speaker 1: let's move in together. That was your decision. You ain't
- 6:52Speaker 1: go to him about this one. You made this decision
- 6:56Speaker 1: based on that decision and all the negative things that
- 7:00Speaker 1: started happening. He allowed you to get away from it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Now how you got away from it? It's always not
- 7:07Speaker 1: the choice of ours. See, you stuck on the fact
- 7:11Speaker 1: that he left, that he walked out. But let me
- 7:14Speaker 1: share this with you. When he was there, How good
- 7:18Speaker 1: was he to you? How good was he for you? See,
- 7:22Speaker 1: you got to you got to stare. You got to
- 7:24Speaker 1: look at the blessing. The blessing is. Now you are
- 7:28Speaker 1: on your own. Now you walk in your house. Ain't
- 7:31Speaker 1: nobody in there with a disruptive spirit. Now you go home.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You could take your clothes off, walk around like you
- 7:38Speaker 1: want to. Now you go home, you can sit down
- 7:41Speaker 1: and look at TV or catch your breath if you
- 7:44Speaker 1: want to. Your kids don't have to see y'all arguing
- 7:50Speaker 1: all the time. Have you looked at the blessing in it?
- 7:53Speaker 1: But now, if you're gonna keep looking at the negative,
- 7:55Speaker 1: then guess what. Now you can't move forward because you
- 8:01Speaker 1: keep allowing your pass to keep you from moving forward.
- 8:06Speaker 1: If God has bought you through it, why don't you
- 8:09Speaker 1: move on from it? Look, you got through it. He
- 8:13Speaker 1: gone when he ain't coming back. He got somebody else,
- 8:17Speaker 1: So you're gonna sit there and just keep tripping costs.
- 8:19Speaker 1: He gone and he got somebody else. Ain't pick yourself up.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Thank God for the blessing. It didn't feel like a blessing.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Why you was going through it, and all the pain
- 8:30Speaker 1: of him leaving and the divorce and all that messed
- 8:33Speaker 1: you up? Got it when you get through it, all
- 8:36Speaker 1: of that. You ain't the first one being left. You
- 8:38Speaker 1: ain't the first woman been divorced. You ain't the first
- 8:41Speaker 1: woman been in a bad relationship. Pick yourself up, Thank
- 8:46Speaker 1: God for the blessing, and move forward in your life,
- 8:49Speaker 1: because maybe when you quit complaining, maybe you'll find out
- 8:54Speaker 1: that God has something in store for you that he
- 8:57Speaker 1: wants you to have, but he can't give it to
- 9:00Speaker 1: you if you ain't grateful. So God gives you a blessing,
- 9:04Speaker 1: but because you don't see it as a blessing, you
- 9:06Speaker 1: ain't grateful for it. Now, guess what, You steady asking
- 9:11Speaker 1: God to do something for you, but you ain't thanking
- 9:13Speaker 1: him for what he's done for you, but you steady
- 9:15Speaker 1: wanting him to do more. How does that work? How
- 9:19Speaker 1: does that work? Man? That he should keep on giving
- 9:22Speaker 1: you things when you ain't even working with the stuff
- 9:25Speaker 1: he didn't gave you, And I don't know, and I'm
- 9:28Speaker 1: just I'm just using that one example that could go
- 9:31Speaker 1: for me and too, vice versa, and so on and
- 9:33Speaker 1: so far. I'm just using that as an example. Now,
- 9:37Speaker 1: why I laid on that one so long? You take
- 9:39Speaker 1: that out with God. That's all just read. I ain't
- 9:42Speaker 1: pointing fingers that nobody in nothing because I've been guilty
- 9:45Speaker 1: on both sides of the coin. Who am I? But
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:55Speaker 1: interfere with my future. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, we
- 10:03Speaker 1: are here. Welcome to the ride, Welcome to twenty twenty two. Listen.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna continue with Roscoe Wallace right now. He
- 10:11Speaker 1: is actually in court. His court date started on Monday,
- 10:16Speaker 1: so he's not here to discuss it. If he gets
- 10:20Speaker 1: a break in the case, we'll hear more about it.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I know we were going to Roscoe Wallace being involved
- 10:25Speaker 1: in the three trillion dollar lawsuit against the music industry.
- 10:28Speaker 1: We'll get into that, but Roscoe wanted you all know
- 10:31Speaker 1: that he is in court and he's hired no lawyers,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and he's representing himself, and so it's gonna be quite
- 10:41Speaker 1: an interesting story when he comes out out there. This
- 10:46Speaker 1: is not They always recommend that you get legal representation,
- 10:51Speaker 1: but Roscoe knew that no one knew the music the
- 10:55Speaker 1: way he did, and so he just felt that he
- 10:57Speaker 1: would be better to represent himself there. But any wait,
- 11:00Speaker 1: this is a Steve Harvey Morning Show. The whole crew
- 11:02Speaker 1: is here again. Nephew, Tommy Junior, the beautiful ladies call
- 11:06Speaker 1: up for real, and the lovely Shirley Strawberry and the
- 11:09Speaker 1: incomparable background player Mississippi Monica. We are here, y'all. Junior,
- 11:14Speaker 1: do you have a question for me today? You turning
- 11:18Speaker 1: sixty five? You count down his own God with it?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Come on, what's the one of the worst gift of
- 11:25Speaker 1: your kids? Are ever about you? How many? Which one
- 11:27Speaker 1: you want to hear? No, they didn't, They couldn't. They couldn't.
- 11:40Speaker 1: They didn't think about it. Yeah, I'll tell you one
- 11:44Speaker 1: of the craziest gifts though. They did buy me one year.
- 11:47Speaker 1: They bought me for Christmas of view Master that you
- 11:51Speaker 1: the big goggles you put on your head. Now I
- 11:54Speaker 1: got the new Quest ABC sent me the new Quest goggles.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I'm scared to put them own because I saw a
- 12:00Speaker 1: boy dude knock his son out on Instagram had it on.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But anyway, they bought me the view Master glasses and
- 12:09Speaker 1: they put a little movie or whatever they're in there,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and they put it on and they just said, Dad,
- 12:14Speaker 1: just press the button, and the graphics that showed was
- 12:19Speaker 1: a meteor storm, you know, some asteroids coming at you. Yeah,
- 12:24Speaker 1: now I was I'm probably about I think I got
- 12:28Speaker 1: this gift out about fifty Yeah, now you know that's
- 12:33Speaker 1: when them graphics was first coming out. I don't know
- 12:36Speaker 1: why you thought it was a good idea to give
- 12:39Speaker 1: a fifty year old black dude some glasses and tell
- 12:42Speaker 1: him to press a button and then some meteors is
- 12:45Speaker 1: coming two inches from your eyeball in three D. I
- 12:49Speaker 1: don't know how you thought that was a good idea.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But now my ass don't forgot. I got these glasses on.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So I'm trying to duck after wait of this meteor
- 13:02Speaker 1: but everywhere I turned, that damn medior is still on coming.
- 13:12Speaker 1: So that was one of the most thrilling gifts. And
- 13:15Speaker 1: when I finally got the glasses off, my damn head.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And my sons was over there in the floor laying
- 13:21Speaker 1: on each other hollyday, laughing. I threatened to beat their ass,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and yeah, that was that was the most interesting. All
- 13:32Speaker 1: the rest of us just trash gifts, ties, socks, stuff
- 13:35Speaker 1: you don't want. Damn Scar. All right, thank you, Steve.

- 21:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Here we go. This is from Jan in Pittsburgh.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Jan writes, I am a bustie thirty seven year old
- 21:18Speaker 1: single female dating a fifty five year old man, and
- 21:22Speaker 1: he keeps commenting about the size of my breast, as
- 21:25Speaker 1: if that's the only reason he's with me. When he drives,
- 21:29Speaker 1: his left hand is on my chest. He didn't reach cross.
- 21:35Speaker 1: They're in England, but she said Pittsburgh. So if we're
- 21:39Speaker 1: sitting alone, he's caressing my chest while we talk. I
- 21:44Speaker 1: don't feel like he's even paying attention to me. How
- 21:47Speaker 1: do I figure out if it's me or my large
- 21:50Speaker 1: breast that he likes? Well, it's all three of y'all.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I mean, you know, what is you trying to figure out?
- 21:57Speaker 1: You know? You know, I mean, you know it's it's y'all.
- 22:02Speaker 1: You know it ain't just you stop separating yourself like
- 22:04Speaker 1: you're not connected to him. Stop stop stop acting like
- 22:09Speaker 1: you don't know where they come from, You don't know
- 22:11Speaker 1: whose they are. Nothing like this. Stop acting like it's
- 22:15Speaker 1: two separate issues. He is infatuated with all three of y'all.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Now listen to me. The first thing you said was
- 22:24Speaker 1: I am a busted That's first thing you said. Then
- 22:28Speaker 1: you come talking about that's all he talked about. That's
- 22:31Speaker 1: what you're the first thing you mentioned. You didn't say
- 22:33Speaker 1: to us. You was lovely, a wonderful conversationalist, intelligence, you know, fun, caring,
- 22:41Speaker 1: loving to be around. Your description of yourself was I'm
- 22:46Speaker 1: a busted female. I haven't heard the term busted quite sometimes. Yea.
- 22:53Speaker 1: So now when he driving, he got one hand on
- 22:59Speaker 1: your when y'all talking, he just touching him. Now listen
- 23:05Speaker 1: to mad But I mean, I don't understand that, you know,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and really, and we got people on this show who's
- 23:13Speaker 1: had this happened to them, and y'all must y'all know,
- 23:17Speaker 1: y'all have Shirley and callin. Y'all know y'all have had
- 23:21Speaker 1: this happened to you. Don't act brand new because they ain't.
- 23:25Speaker 1: It's a brand new year. How many times? Have you
- 23:32Speaker 1: slapped your hus the boys? Stop? We're moving on. That's
- 23:38Speaker 1: what I thought. Yes, Lizell, what did you trip in faults?
- 23:42Speaker 1: We're moving on. Carla Lazelle and stark Bridge says I
- 23:47Speaker 1: paid two hundred and seventy three dollars to get my
- 23:49Speaker 1: aunt out of jail. She got into a big fight
- 23:53Speaker 1: with her boyfriend and he called the police. She was
- 23:56Speaker 1: mad because I picked him up from work and she
- 23:58Speaker 1: accused us of messing around. Backstory is he and I
- 24:03Speaker 1: have been friends since we were eighteen, and she has
- 24:06Speaker 1: a problem with it. She told me she isn't paying
- 24:08Speaker 1: me back and how do I get my money without
- 24:11Speaker 1: beating her tail? Well, let me ask you a question.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Why y'all live where you can get out of jail
- 24:18Speaker 1: for two hundred and seventy hand Come on, come on, dog, Tommy,
- 24:24Speaker 1: I'm stuck. I'm just trying sting out seventy three. Parking
- 24:28Speaker 1: tickets cost more than that. If you speed in the
- 24:32Speaker 1: school zone, it's two fifty. You can whoop somebody to
- 24:37Speaker 1: ask Pleae department come pick you up. The rest, you
- 24:39Speaker 1: drive you down there, shower you put you in some garments,
- 24:43Speaker 1: give you a meal, dush you with the lie, and
- 24:46Speaker 1: now you can get out of that for two hundred
- 24:48Speaker 1: and seventy three dollars. What county is your asking? Many
- 24:54Speaker 1: people ask, we don't start whip but two dollars. Look
- 24:58Speaker 1: and then and the name is a have a wait
- 25:01Speaker 1: love zail. Well in the Deep South? Is your ass
- 25:08Speaker 1: can get arrested and get out two hundred and seventy
- 25:13Speaker 1: three dollars? What is the processing fee at Chill County Jail?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Y'all's jail got to be connected to the mayor's office.
- 25:24Speaker 1: City Hall in the jail is the same building. It's
- 25:30Speaker 1: just a damn this thing I've ever heard. I don't
- 25:32Speaker 1: know how you're gonna get your money back. Yeah, I
- 25:34Speaker 1: don't know how. I don't know what to tell you.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Go ahead, Sherley, Next question, Missy. We're moving on, Missy,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and Phoenix says, I'm a forty nine year old married
- 25:41Speaker 1: woman and I need to know if my husband is
- 25:43Speaker 1: cheating on me. I saw its debit card transactions before Christmas,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and he spent money at Bath and Bodyworks and Forever
- 25:51Speaker 1: twenty one. I asked him why he was in those stores,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and he said he would have to report those purchases.
- 25:56Speaker 1: As fraud. He went so far as to cancel his
- 25:59Speaker 1: depth and request a new one. I think it's all
- 26:02Speaker 1: a cover up. Is he a liar and a cheater?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Hell no, hell no, what he was supposed to do?
- 26:08Speaker 1: I want to take clap clap, hands off to your
- 26:11Speaker 1: homane counsel to Devik Card reported that stelf something that
- 26:16Speaker 1: hell is going on? Yes, sir, perfect, and no he
- 26:21Speaker 1: isn't a liar. No, no, because and I'm gonna tell
- 26:26Speaker 1: you why, because y'all forty nine fifty year old men
- 26:32Speaker 1: don't even know what forever twenty one, I promise you
- 26:38Speaker 1: he don't. And Bath and Body Works said that ain't
- 26:43Speaker 1: a combination of what we buy for a lover. That
- 26:48Speaker 1: ain't That ain't a mistress purchase. We don't buy bath
- 26:52Speaker 1: and body work products. We don't buy products like that
- 26:56Speaker 1: for mistresses. What do they buy for men? Like? Hey, man,
- 27:03Speaker 1: let's going on to the next damn you know we're talking.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Listen to me. This lingerie is big. Airplane tickets is big,
- 27:13Speaker 1: hotels is big. SPA treatments is big. Uh. These are
- 27:19Speaker 1: gifts that you buy, you know, stuff U gym memberships,
- 27:25Speaker 1: you know, stuff that has a lasting effect that you
- 27:28Speaker 1: could benefit from as the man. Yes, rent rent, Let
- 27:31Speaker 1: me ask the rent is huge and I'm not mad
- 27:35Speaker 1: at that. You know. Now you're now how does how's
- 27:41Speaker 1: he supposed to pay for this? So this this card situation,
- 27:44Speaker 1: This should never go on a card, am, This is
- 27:51Speaker 1: immediately go down and get your ass a cash withdrawal
- 27:56Speaker 1: and do all cash hurchases in hand, deliver all of this.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Don't don't no paper trail always out of not a
- 28:07Speaker 1: joint account then, because you look at the money too. Well, see,
- 28:12Speaker 1: even if it's a joint account, you got to take
- 28:15Speaker 1: the cash out. What you do with the cash? I
- 28:17Speaker 1: spent it on? Let me ask you this how how
- 28:24Speaker 1: upset was he? Excuse me say it again because he
- 28:27Speaker 1: was talking to say it again? Okay, I'm I'm asking
- 28:29Speaker 1: you how upset was the husband when he learned that
- 28:33Speaker 1: it was fraud on his card? Yes, I want to
- 28:37Speaker 1: hear that. What have no not my card? You know
- 28:42Speaker 1: I've been hearing about this right here. Hold on, what's
- 28:44Speaker 1: the number, baby, baby? What is the number to the bank?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Who the hell got what is forget your twenty one?
- 28:54Speaker 1: It's one? Why just forget your twenty one? It's forever
- 28:58Speaker 1: twenty one coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Thank you, Clo. Entertainment News right after this, acting your wife.

- 31:19Speaker 1: good brothers on the reel. When you talk to other frats,
- 31:23Speaker 1: Cappa's is very very well respected. You know, I've said
- 31:27Speaker 1: it oftentimes before, and I don't know if I've said
- 31:29Speaker 1: it on the air, but when I look at all
- 31:32Speaker 1: the frats and I think about Omega Side five, what
- 31:38Speaker 1: you think about all the time, it is, and I've
- 31:45Speaker 1: shared this with a couple of brothers. If we had
- 31:47Speaker 1: interchangeable parts with any other frat, it would be kay
- 31:51Speaker 1: side Wow. Wow, it's more nups that I think should
- 31:57Speaker 1: have been cused. You just no, I mean nice compliment. No, No,
- 32:08Speaker 1: that's a high love. I can pay it. Bro. If
- 32:10Speaker 1: I look at it, bron Man, he'd have made a
- 32:11Speaker 1: cold que. You know what I'm saying. No, really, because
- 32:17Speaker 1: you know, like I knew Tommy wasn't gonna pledge Q.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I knew that because he knew he was gonna have
- 32:22Speaker 1: to come see me, and I was already killing me,
- 32:25Speaker 1: you know. And even though we don't do it in life. Yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 1: we don't do hazing nor nothing like that. None of
- 32:32Speaker 1: that's I don't know what not Well it was it
- 32:37Speaker 1: wasn't well okay, just stop. It wasn't. It just wasn't.
- 32:41Speaker 1: It wasn't. It wasn't I planned, nephew first it was.
- 32:49Speaker 1: It was like it was a lot of hazing. Okay,
- 32:52Speaker 1: So that explains why you're so protective and territorial when
- 32:56Speaker 1: it comes to your uncle. I get it now, you paid.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, come on, he plays regardless. I guess my
- 33:05Speaker 1: sons have all pledged. Yes, yeah, my sons have played.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I ain't known my son because they saw it fairly.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I'm not going to go down him volunteer face. He said,
- 33:19Speaker 1: l yeah, yah, no, no, no, my son has so
- 33:22Speaker 1: I beat it. I really did a disservice to right. Well,
- 33:26Speaker 1: let's get to some entertainment news if we can. Uh.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Many of Bill Cosby's cellmates want to see him back
- 33:33Speaker 1: in prison because they miss his motivational speaking and they
- 33:37Speaker 1: consider him their guru. According to Cosby's rep Andrew Wyatt,
- 33:42Speaker 1: his old sealmates call him at least three times a
- 33:45Speaker 1: week because they missed him within the prison. Wyatt says
- 33:50Speaker 1: Cosby became the voice of reason, solving disputes among inmates,
- 33:55Speaker 1: giving advice and pushing education, and he claims that Cosby
- 33:58Speaker 1: encouraged prisoners to prove to the corrections officers and the
- 34:01Speaker 1: warden that they could be good citizens on the inside
- 34:05Speaker 1: of the prison why It says he handles most of
- 34:07Speaker 1: the calls from the inmates be but says that Cosby
- 34:10Speaker 1: does get on the line of time to say hello, wow, No,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you know man, he's not going back. Y'all miss him?
- 34:20Speaker 1: He don't it ain't he don't miss street. Yes, no,
- 34:24Speaker 1: it's not that refection, that affection is not returned lopside relationship.
- 34:31Speaker 1: But I can see him doing that. Man, because let
- 34:33Speaker 1: me tell you something, aside from what they want to
- 34:36Speaker 1: say about this man. What he was accused for, something
- 34:39Speaker 1: went wrong. They did a disservice to this man somewhere
- 34:42Speaker 1: in the legal system. That happened to else he wouldn't
- 34:45Speaker 1: he wouldn't have got out. Now do you have to
- 34:47Speaker 1: pay for the things you do? Of course you do.
- 34:49Speaker 1: So this instatement is not about that. But if you
- 34:52Speaker 1: look back over this man's life, be all caused the life.
- 34:57Speaker 1: He did so many things ucation for HBCU. Some of
- 35:02Speaker 1: the largest contributions of HBCUs came from him and Camille.
- 35:09Speaker 1: He's done so many things for African Americans in film
- 35:13Speaker 1: and television. He was just a powerful, powerful guy when
- 35:18Speaker 1: it came to promoting and uplifting a lot of people
- 35:23Speaker 1: in the industry. Now, on the other side of that
- 35:26Speaker 1: that whatever he was convicted for, you know, justice has
- 35:30Speaker 1: to be served. That that is what it is. So
- 35:32Speaker 1: this is not a statement against anything any women are
- 35:36Speaker 1: saying and all like that. I'm talking about outside of
- 35:39Speaker 1: that my relationship with that man was very, very different,
- 35:44Speaker 1: and I appreciate so many things he did. He set
- 35:47Speaker 1: me down, He taught me a lot of great lessons.
- 35:49Speaker 1: So I just wanted to say that, aside from the
- 35:53Speaker 1: conviction and all that, keep me out of that. All right,
- 35:57Speaker 1: Thank you. Coming up, Junior, a new Year's poem for us. Huh,
- 36:02Speaker 1: you're listening, all right, Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves. It
- 36:07Speaker 1: is that time. Our first poem of the new year
- 36:10Speaker 1: from my poet laureate Junior and gentlemen, Jay Rapp is back.
- 36:18Speaker 1: That's his poetry name. Jay Rapp stands for juniors raggedy
- 36:23Speaker 1: Ass poem. That is I'm here, Joe. This is a
- 36:28Speaker 1: poem I put a lot of thought into. It is
- 36:30Speaker 1: the first one of the year, and the name of
- 36:33Speaker 1: the poem is called twenty twenty two. The reason why
- 36:38Speaker 1: that is because it's a New Years twenty twenty two.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Here we go, twenty twenty two. Damn. Glad to see
- 36:48Speaker 1: you because twenty one was hell and we're glad his
- 36:51Speaker 1: ass is through twenty twenty two. We didn't think you
- 36:54Speaker 1: make it if we had twenty twenty one. Again, I
- 36:57Speaker 1: don't think we could take it. Twenty twenty two. Your
- 37:00Speaker 1: breath of sunshine took you by the year to get here,
- 37:03Speaker 1: but you're right on time now twenty twenty two. Let's
- 37:07Speaker 1: see how you go at better come correct or we're
- 37:10Speaker 1: seeing your ass right back the end. No, I liked it.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I liked it. Yeah, baby, everybody get excited about your
- 37:21Speaker 1: new year. I'm excited twenty twenty two. I got some
- 37:24Speaker 1: things happy to tweet tweet two. Thank you? Please, no more,
- 37:28Speaker 1: come on now stop, come on now, I ain't clap

- 37:41Speaker 1: come on, y'all. I'm clapping. No mo no, no, come on.
- 37:43Speaker 1: They threw I'm slapping. I'm snapping my feet tree, Come on,
- 37:49Speaker 1: come on. You ain't got to be like that. Come
- 37:51Speaker 1: on now. I'm sorry. I can't. I can't go with you.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Come on, come on. You don't like that poem? That
- 37:57Speaker 1: was over? He left it was too bad, the first
- 38:02Speaker 1: one of the year. I'm surprised he didn't name it
- 38:05Speaker 1: the first point of the year. Why would I do that?
- 38:09Speaker 1: And it's twenty twenty two. Well, because well, both of
- 38:13Speaker 1: them is rather obvious. I'm just excited about the year.
- 38:20Speaker 1: That's it, man. I thank you, Timmy, thank you, Bro,
- 38:22Speaker 1: appreciate you. Man. All this telling, I don't know how
- 38:25Speaker 1: God did it. I don't know how God with all
- 38:26Speaker 1: this talent to one body I did. But just say, Junior,
- 38:31Speaker 1: all of this, all this talented, funny and and right, Paul,
- 38:36Speaker 1: come on, God, you do it too much? Now slow down,
- 38:41Speaker 1: slow down. It's too much in one body, too much
- 38:46Speaker 1: funny and poetry. Come on down. Who I bet you?
- 38:51Speaker 1: I bet you exhausted with all that? You upset because
- 38:56Speaker 1: you ain't writing poem. No, come on, Julie, I could
- 39:01Speaker 1: have wrote that poem just off the top of my
- 39:03Speaker 1: head all night. Julian's ragged air parks all right, coming
- 39:18Speaker 1: up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty
- 39:20Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 39:24Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, in what
- 39:28Speaker 1: seems to be a very to have been I should say,
- 39:31Speaker 1: a very very long and drawn out divorce settlement. Seems
- 39:35Speaker 1: like we've been talking about this for a while. Doctor
- 39:37Speaker 1: Dre is finally satisfied with his settlement with his ex
- 39:42Speaker 1: Nicole Young. Dre gets to keep the vast majority, the
- 39:46Speaker 1: vast majority of his eight hundred million dollars estate, and
- 39:51Speaker 1: his ex Nicole Young will receive two lump sum payments
- 39:54Speaker 1: of fifty million I said fifty million dollars each, one
- 39:59Speaker 1: this year and then another in twenty twenty three. She
- 40:02Speaker 1: also gets to keep her bank accounts, her furs, her
- 40:05Speaker 1: designer closed, and her jewelry on Nicole will get their
- 40:09Speaker 1: luxury cars um, all the vehicles that include the rolls,
- 40:13Speaker 1: a Range Rover, a Cadillac, Limo, Escalade UM. So there
- 40:18Speaker 1: you go. Doctor Dre retains the right to his music,
- 40:21Speaker 1: his stock options, and seven properties, including their one hundred
- 40:24Speaker 1: million dollar Brentwood at State. So that's the split. A
- 40:28Speaker 1: million dollars. That ain't enough. She deserves more, man, get

- 42:07Speaker 1: nobody to say that. Call him, Yes, you and Toosh
- 42:11Speaker 1: getting a divorce. Tash gives you one hundred million. How
- 42:16Speaker 1: you feel it? It depends on how much he's worked.
- 42:19Speaker 1: If he's worth eight hundred million. Listen to me, listen
- 42:23Speaker 1: to the question. Right now today everything is being what
- 42:30Speaker 1: it is. You and Tash, god forbid, get a divorce
- 42:35Speaker 1: Toosh gives you a hundred million? How you go? That's nice.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I could live nice, comfortably. But if he's worth eight
- 42:45Speaker 1: hundred million, I need four hundred I just told you,
- 42:51Speaker 1: why are you? Is right? Now? You and I know
- 42:55Speaker 1: Tash ain't got no eight hundred million? Why why did
- 42:58Speaker 1: he get a hundred million from I'm just posing the
- 43:01Speaker 1: question out of no damn well contribute you get? You

- 43:15Speaker 1: Marriage nothing. You didn't marry me for that, Like, I'm
- 43:18Speaker 1: not minimizing nothing. What y'all gonna stop doing is minimizing
- 43:23Speaker 1: what one hundred million? Do you know? You're not minimizing it.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I'm saying she deserves more if eight d if you
- 43:37Speaker 1: you don't grundred and give away from me. See this
- 43:44Speaker 1: is what's wrong right here, Tom, I got this for
- 43:46Speaker 1: this my specialty. Listen to me obviously, and see I'm
- 43:50Speaker 1: the only one on this show that then't ever been
- 43:53Speaker 1: divorced and had to give somebody something. So now so
- 43:56Speaker 1: now we are from a whole nother perspective. So see
- 43:58Speaker 1: it is how y'all ain't never a head to get.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Nobody know the damn thing. I can understand how you
- 44:03Speaker 1: don't know the pain his ass is in with this
- 44:05Speaker 1: hunting miss me? Whatever he got? Eight? Okay, well, don't
- 44:12Speaker 1: take the hundred get back now you like that? Coming

- 44:36Speaker 1: a bit, because right now the nephew is here with
- 44:39Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Nev?
- 44:43Speaker 1: Your wife is cheating on both of us. Oh shut up?
- 44:52Speaker 1: You know just the nerve of some people, you know, Oh,
- 45:00Speaker 1: the gall to do this. Your wife is cheating on
- 45:04Speaker 1: both of us. Let's go cat doll. Hello, I'm trying
- 45:09Speaker 1: to reach Terrence. Please, who's calling? Who's this? Hey? My
- 45:13Speaker 1: name is Mark. My name is Mark. How you doing, bro?
- 45:15Speaker 1: I work with um with your wife, Veronica. We're on
- 45:18Speaker 1: the same sales floor together. I think I met you before,
- 45:21Speaker 1: but I don't know if you remember meeting me. But Um,
- 45:23Speaker 1: I work at the job with Veronica, is everything on
- 45:27Speaker 1: right there or what's going on? No? No, no, everything
- 45:30Speaker 1: straight here at the job. Not a problem at all
- 45:32Speaker 1: at the job. But I wanted to ya, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 45:35Speaker 1: she's all right, She's perfectly fine. Man. Um, I just
- 45:38Speaker 1: I just you know, I actually, like I said, my
- 45:41Speaker 1: name is Mark Man. You don't remember me, Terrence, But
- 45:43Speaker 1: I just wanted to talk to you, Like I say, um,
- 45:45Speaker 1: you know, I got some things on that that's been
- 45:47Speaker 1: bothering me for a minute. And I you know, I
- 45:49Speaker 1: just I just kind of wanted to reach out to
- 45:51Speaker 1: you and you know, just kind of have like a
- 45:53Speaker 1: little a little hard to hard talk with you. Man.
- 45:55Speaker 1: So maybe you know, uh, you know, we can get
- 45:58Speaker 1: things in a in a better position. But I just
- 46:00Speaker 1: wanted I just wanted me and you to have a conversation.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Wait a manne, how did you get my Veronic? Can
- 46:06Speaker 1: give you my number? Or how did you get my number?
- 46:08Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to like, what's going on? I mean,
- 46:11Speaker 1: I had, I had, I've had your number. I just
- 46:13Speaker 1: I just I just had never reached out to you before.
- 46:15Speaker 1: But like I said, though, man, this this, this has
- 46:17Speaker 1: been bothering me for a minute, and I wanted to
- 46:19Speaker 1: get it off my chest so you and I can
- 46:21Speaker 1: try to, I guess fix this whole issue. But I
- 46:24Speaker 1: just want us to see if we can fix it.
- 46:25Speaker 1: You know, we'll fix the issue. What's the issue? I
- 46:29Speaker 1: don't understand. I'm not following you. I don't understand what
- 46:32Speaker 1: like what is the issue? So? But now you know,
- 46:36Speaker 1: like I said, I went on to out talk to me.
- 46:40Speaker 1: What's going on? Okay? Yeah, your wife, man is cheating
- 46:47Speaker 1: on both of us, and we gotta figure out how
- 46:50Speaker 1: we gotta do something about this. Man, all right? I mean,
- 46:53Speaker 1: did you say she's eating on the both of us?
- 46:55Speaker 1: What is cheating? She is cheating on the boat of us. Brown,
- 47:02Speaker 1: It sound like you said cheating. I don't know what
- 47:04Speaker 1: you Veronica. Listen to me, Terence, Veronica is cheating on
- 47:10Speaker 1: both of us. You say, Veronica is cheating on me
- 47:13Speaker 1: and me you know, and we gotta we gotta figure
- 47:16Speaker 1: out what we're gonna do. Man. But as a husband,
- 47:18Speaker 1: I gotta you gotta. I'm gonna need you to step
- 47:20Speaker 1: up and get this thing in order. What you're talking about?
- 47:23Speaker 1: You say Veronica is cheating? What I mean with you? No? No,
- 47:27Speaker 1: she cheating on both of us with somebody else. I know,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I've been noticing her going out with this, you know,
- 47:34Speaker 1: going to lunch with this other cat. So I'm like,
- 47:37Speaker 1: I got pissed off about it. So I said, you
- 47:39Speaker 1: know what, I can't take you no more. I'm calling Terence.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You're saying to me that my wife has been cheating
- 47:46Speaker 1: around a job with somebody else. She cheating on both
- 47:49Speaker 1: of us. Dude, I don't get what you mean if
- 47:53Speaker 1: my wife has cheated on what I mean, you're calling
- 47:55Speaker 1: me to tell me that she's cheating on me. I
- 47:56Speaker 1: appreciate that, but I don't get what you're saying. Both
- 48:00Speaker 1: of us said. I don't get that far. I don't
- 48:02Speaker 1: understand what you mean. Me and Vernica been you know,
- 48:06Speaker 1: kind of cool. You know, last eight months to a year,
- 48:09Speaker 1: we've been, you know, pretty tight here at the job.
- 48:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So listen what you mean
- 48:13Speaker 1: y'all been cool? That's what I don't understand. Like, what
- 48:17Speaker 1: do you mean y'all being cool? Because that's my wife.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Tell me what you're talking about. Okay. All I'm saying
- 48:22Speaker 1: is me and me and me and her been real cool.
- 48:24Speaker 1: We've been real tight, you know, sometimes we take lunch
- 48:27Speaker 1: and then you know, don't come back. That's our thing though.
- 48:30Speaker 1: But you know now, you know I'm noticing. You know,
- 48:33Speaker 1: she she didn't want out, you know, she didn't want
- 48:34Speaker 1: to lunch a couple of time with his brother named Alan.
- 48:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, no, no, it ain't gonna go
- 48:37Speaker 1: down like this here. You know what I'm saying, Are
- 48:40Speaker 1: you my wife? Man? Hey, that's that's not why I
- 48:43Speaker 1: called you. I called you my wife. That's what I
- 48:46Speaker 1: want to do. I'm telling you about this dude named Alan.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I need you to step up as the husband fix this.
- 48:53Speaker 1: But you telling me that my wife is cheating on
- 48:56Speaker 1: both of us. Didn't cheating both of us? If she's me.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You're telling me that you with my wife too, that
- 49:04Speaker 1: you've been messing around with my wife. That's not That's
- 49:08Speaker 1: not the part I'm trying to talk about. I'm trying
- 49:10Speaker 1: to talk about this dude name Alan. Man, that's what
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to get out. I'm gonna get to Alan.
- 49:15Speaker 1: We're gonna get to Alan. You saying that my wife. Man,
- 49:19Speaker 1: it's come crazy, yo. You know what, man, I'm about
- 49:22Speaker 1: to put my foot right up your because don't play
- 49:25Speaker 1: those games with her. She's with me. Were messing around.
- 49:29Speaker 1: We're doing this and doing that. It don't work like that.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Do you understand what I'm saying? Dude, I hear what
- 49:33Speaker 1: you're saying. But the beef ain't with me. The beef
- 49:36Speaker 1: is with Alan. No, she messing over. She messing over
- 49:41Speaker 1: both of us with Alan, dalk. I'm about to call
- 49:44Speaker 1: her because right here, I'm telling Okay, hold on, bro,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I just want you to deal with Alan. Are you
- 49:50Speaker 1: about to stop right now? I'm at I'm at the job. Yeah,
- 49:53Speaker 1: but I'm about to come up my foot. You understand me? No,
- 49:59Speaker 1: I hear you. Man, Alan is the one that then
- 50:02Speaker 1: blew this thing out of proportion. Dog, She messing over me.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Ain't you with this here? There ain't no me and you.
- 50:08Speaker 1: I don't shit. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, I

- 54:15Speaker 1: We got it for all you here. It is the
- 54:16Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, subject what will she do next? Dear Stephen
- 54:21Speaker 1: Shirley I have never written into a show before, so
- 54:24Speaker 1: be easy on me. I'm married to a woman that
- 54:28Speaker 1: I did not date long enough. In the beginning, she
- 54:31Speaker 1: told me she is very religious type of a woman
- 54:34Speaker 1: because she knows I'm a preacher's kid. She wouldn't let
- 54:37Speaker 1: me touch her below the waist or do anything until
- 54:40Speaker 1: our wedding night. I was so into her because she
- 54:43Speaker 1: said all of the right things. She cooked the foods
- 54:46Speaker 1: I like, and she kept a clean house. I proposed
- 54:49Speaker 1: to her last Christmas and we got married as a
- 54:51Speaker 1: courthouse a week later because of COVID. She moved in
- 54:55Speaker 1: and everything changed. I came home a few days a
- 55:00Speaker 1: few days after our wedding and she had changed my
- 55:02Speaker 1: bedroom furniture out with a bedroom set that her grandmother
- 55:06Speaker 1: left for her. She said she was waiting to get
- 55:08Speaker 1: married so she could get it out of storage and
- 55:11Speaker 1: sleep in the same bed her grandparents conceived her mother in.
- 55:15Speaker 1: That was the first inkling I had that she might
- 55:18Speaker 1: have some loose fruits. Then she put Christmas lights in
- 55:21Speaker 1: the trees in my front yard, and every night she
- 55:24Speaker 1: lights them up, no matter what time of year it is.
- 55:28Speaker 1: She leaves bedcrumbs, breadcrumbs for birds, on the back patio,
- 55:34Speaker 1: and now I have bird droppings all over my nice
- 55:36Speaker 1: patio furniture. There are also three stray cats that live
- 55:41Speaker 1: in my backyard because she feeds them too. The worst
- 55:44Speaker 1: part is that the sex that I waited for is
- 55:47Speaker 1: not all of that. She drinks till she's sloppy drunk,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and that's the only way she will sleep with me. Yes,
- 55:55Speaker 1: the Holy Act was a front because this woman makes
- 55:58Speaker 1: martini every night, and I know there's weed in the house,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but I've never seen her smoke it. I am wondering
- 56:04Speaker 1: what my wife will do next. I want to make
- 56:07Speaker 1: this work, but I don't know if I should. Is
- 56:09Speaker 1: it time to walk away from her? Wow? Well, this
- 56:14Speaker 1: marriage has started off wrong already. Yeah, your wife shouldn't
- 56:19Speaker 1: just change things without discussing it with you and all
- 56:22Speaker 1: of that. I mean, she's no longer single. She has
- 56:24Speaker 1: someone else to consider in her life. And I'm consuming
- 56:27Speaker 1: I'm assuming that this furniture from her grandmother that she
- 56:33Speaker 1: got out of storage and put in your room is
- 56:35Speaker 1: probably old and ugly. They're old, Oh, you know that
- 56:39Speaker 1: furniture old? And but the question is are you mad
- 56:43Speaker 1: that she changed it? Or are you just mad? That
- 56:45Speaker 1: the furniture is just ugly, because that's not the worst
- 56:50Speaker 1: thing in the world. It's very inconsiderate on her part.
- 56:53Speaker 1: I'll say, but do you even do you love her?
- 56:57Speaker 1: I mean, what's going on here? You know, I don't
- 57:01Speaker 1: see you mentioned that at all in your letter. I mean,
- 57:04Speaker 1: because you guys can learn each other sexually, if that's
- 57:08Speaker 1: not popping, you can learn that, you know. But if
- 57:12Speaker 1: there is no love and you don't have a foundation,
- 57:14Speaker 1: this is not gonna work. I mean, no matter what
- 57:16Speaker 1: she does, you got to decide if these things that
- 57:19Speaker 1: she's doing are deal breakers. I mean, can you live
- 57:22Speaker 1: with all this craziness, the grandma's furniture, the cats in
- 57:25Speaker 1: the backyard, the drinking, the bird poop on the patio set, etc.
- 57:29Speaker 1: You know, you got to decide if those are deal
- 57:31Speaker 1: breakers or not. You know, And if she really is crazy,
- 57:35Speaker 1: that's the only thing I can say to you. You know,
- 57:38Speaker 1: you got to talk to her, just like you wrote
- 57:40Speaker 1: this letter to us, and just see where she is.
- 57:43Speaker 1: It really doesn't sound like, I don't know you like
- 57:47Speaker 1: each other very much right now. She's drinking every night
- 57:50Speaker 1: Martini's and everything. She's she does have some issues. She
- 57:53Speaker 1: can't get with you unless she's drunk. These are problems
- 57:58Speaker 1: that you guys should have had shot before you got married.
- 58:01Speaker 1: The future doesn't look bright for you guys right now.
- 58:04Speaker 1: So you need to go ahead and deal with it,
- 58:06Speaker 1: because it sounds like you got one foot out of
- 58:08Speaker 1: the door already. Steven. Yeah, well, well, I appreciate everything
- 58:13Speaker 1: you said, Sherley, nice approach to this letter and everything,
- 58:16Speaker 1: but this is one of the moments while I'm gonna
- 58:18Speaker 1: do what I promise to be at the beginning of
- 58:20Speaker 1: the year, I'm gonna be pointed. I'm judgmental. This is
- 58:27Speaker 1: what this is. This is pointed. Uh. I don't know
- 58:30Speaker 1: who are we trying to play this any other way,
- 58:33Speaker 1: but this right here has to happen. Uh, And so
- 58:36Speaker 1: I just want to deal with it. According what will
- 58:39Speaker 1: she do next? Well, what here's she doing right now?
- 58:48Speaker 1: Because what's she's doing right now is everything? And I
- 58:51Speaker 1: mean everything. You know, this woman right here, man off
- 58:55Speaker 1: the shame with it. So now listen to me. First
- 58:59Speaker 1: of all, he said, I've never written into a show before,
- 59:02Speaker 1: so be easy on me. Well, first of all, let's
- 59:05Speaker 1: just say it ain't nobody ever wrote into a show before.
- 59:11Speaker 1: It ain't nobody ever done that? So this ain't no
- 59:14Speaker 1: public service announcement, you back, no, no, no no, no, no, no,
- 59:17Speaker 1: that I ain't never wrote into a show before. Who
- 59:20Speaker 1: had Yeah, but you think they had wrote one before
- 59:28Speaker 1: and on the show trying to help nobody but us. Secondly,
- 59:33Speaker 1: so be easy on me. That's not gonna happen. Man.
- 59:37Speaker 1: A woman that I didn't date long enough. In the beginning,
- 59:41Speaker 1: I told you she was religious. She know your preacher's kid.
- 59:45Speaker 1: She wouldn't let you touch it below the way, not
- 59:48Speaker 1: into the wed night because you was into it. Because
- 59:51Speaker 1: she did all the right things. She cooked food, she
- 59:54Speaker 1: kept clean house. You proposed to her. Last Christmas, we
- 59:58Speaker 1: got married on the courthouse a week calls it COVID.

- 1:01:09Speaker 1: my bedroom furniture out with the bedroom set that her
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: grandma left for her. She says she was waiting to
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: getting married so she could get it out of storage
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: and sleep in the same bed her grandparents conceived her
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: mother in. What what? What? What did you say? You
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: want to sleep in the same bed that your grandparents

- 1:02:28Speaker 1: All it was none of that. All they did was
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: take some sheets, sow them together, and stuff some damn
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: cotton in it pocket. That's what I would the hell
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I would. I been at work all day and I

- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to go back in here and get in this slavery
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: ass bed and your damn grand mammy conceived in them.

- 1:20:31Speaker 1: show and last break of the day right after this
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after you're listening show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day. It's been
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: a great day. We've had fun on this Wednesday. Steve,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: you're crazy today. Hey, Oh you know what song? I
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: was thinking about what what this morning when I woke
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: up and I ain't heard this song? And I can't
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: count how many years old. Take me to the water,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, take me to the water right now, Take
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: me to the water to be bad ties in the
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: name Jee. And they'd had everybody put their little robes
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: on that was getting baptized that Sunday and they come
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: out that closet out the back down and by the
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: ball room and walk y'all over to that pool where
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: they was going baptized. Now, I scared to death when
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I was a little boy. I go down there and
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: watch it. So you get baptized next Sunday, Steve, Mary
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: about five eight years before I did that. I was
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: so scared. Man, you could rarely getting baptized, but that
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I could not believe it, because you know, we had
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: those swimming pools where I live. That was that was
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: that was the biggest body of water we saw outside
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: of Lake. I just could not see this little past
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: on mine. He's a little too short, dipping me if
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: he don't pick me up. All I saw was a drowning,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: And my mama used to make me stand there because
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: my mom would day prayed for the people. I was
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: scared to death watching people get baptized, man, I was,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: I was. It was horrifying, man, I probably I could think.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: I got baptized about thirteen fourteen. I finally went up
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: there at all to call when out stairs, man got
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: in that little raggedy little ballroom, put the little clothes
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: on out scared to death, man got Well, you mentioned
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: something that struck me. This has nothing to do with baptism.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: But I don't even know why I said that story.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: I just but I heard you mentioned rogue, and it
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: made made me think of your show last night, Judge, Steve,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Oh girl, so good, so good? Where you do not
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: wear a robe, Judge, because I'm too fly for that.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Why what cover up all this goodness? You know, I'm
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: sitting up in here, man, trying to stay in shaping
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: everything's and putting no robe on that. Plus you know, really,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I know, I know, I ain't really know, Judge, I know,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: but you know last night was great. I don't know
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: what the numbers are yet. Uh you know when I'm
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: just playing about it, man, that's a success, you know.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: But last night was a great opening. Man. I hope
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: y'all enjoyed, appreciate y'all watching three cases last night. That
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: first of all, all the cases are real. They're all
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: very very real. They all signed after David's that they
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: have to uh abide by whatever I say, that it
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: has to do it. And then they illegally they have
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: to do it. They signed all the legal documents. All
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: of these cases are vetted by ABC Legal. These are
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: real cases and everything real people, So none of us scripted.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Because you know, I was wondering about the two sisters. Yeah,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: and the funeral, Yeah that was real. Yeah. The sister
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: was collecting money for her brother's funeral. Said it was
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: gonna be about fourteen thousand. When the older sister got
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: in town, they hadn't collected enough, so she wrote a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: check for six thousand, got it out the way. Okay,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Well they get to the funeral and it's just some
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: memorial service. Ain't no casket, ain't no body, ain't no nothing.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: She then had the brother cremate it for fourteen hundred.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Now they'd have collected fourteen thousand. Yeah, what happened to
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the rest of them? What happened? The sister accused her
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: getting a position and button lil and she did, Yeah,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: she did. Surely that was the whole thing, about the
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: whole thing, So we had to settle that. That turned
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: out to be crazy. Then the other case where the
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: brother and sisters, the nicest people I've ever seen, come
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: to court. They agreed with everything each other said. But
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: she thought her brother had spent her five thousand dollars
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: deposit on this front dude could make some furniture, and
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: turned out that he didn't. He actually had the five
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: thousand dollars and had proof he would never cheat his sister.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: That turned out to be a good case. But then
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: these two neighbors that was arguing about this treat that
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: fell in the yard. So so the Asian lady, the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Asian lady, she said, doing the thing she said. I
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: was asking her how she came up with these numbers.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I said, because you know, you can't just do this
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: right here. You can't just you know, come up with
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: any kind of number. She said. You know, I'm agied,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: so I know how to do mad I just meant,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: wait a minute, you know I didn't say that. You
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: said you trying to get my ass put off TV
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: to a night. Yeah, let the record show, so you
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: know it was interesting. Man. I want to thank everybody
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: to watch Man Hopfull You Message Tuesday nights, eight seventh

- 1:26:36Speaker 1: too on that show. You're a good listener because you
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: gotta yeah hear both sides. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man, Yeah,

- 1:26:45Speaker 1: I loved that. Yeah. Uh, it's a little secondier than
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: the normal judgment. Some fight. I know it's gonna be
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: a fight, pritty. So we're gonna see somebody. We see
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: it in a minute. Now. What you're not gonna do
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: is take my money. Get your butt done. Don't get
