- 0:01Speaker 1: We had a big win with the Supreme Court on
- 0:04Speaker 1: the Department of Education, and we want, as you know.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We want to bring education back to the States, take.
- 0:09Speaker 1: The federal government out of it. A little tiny bit
- 0:12Speaker 1: of supervision, but very little, almost nothing.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Like to make sure they speak English. That's about all
- 0:17Speaker 2: we need.
- 0:18Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Good Wednesday morning. So nice to have you with us
- 0:24Speaker 4: on the forty seven Morning Update. And we've got two
- 0:26Speaker 4: major stories we're going to be dealing with this morning.
- 0:29Speaker 4: First up, Joe Biden in serious trouble with the auto pen.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Apparently he was not the one making the decisions.
- 0:37Speaker 4: At the end of the day when it came to
- 0:38Speaker 4: who was going to receive a presidential pardon in the
- 0:41Speaker 4: final hours of his presidency. This could spell major issues
- 0:46Speaker 4: for people like doctor Anthony Fauci, and I'll have more
- 0:49Speaker 4: on that in a moment. Also, the Muslim Brotherhood is
- 0:53Speaker 4: an organization that many other countries have already designated as
- 0:56Speaker 4: a terrorist organization, Yet why has the UN It's America
- 1:00Speaker 4: not done so so far? Well, there's new legislation to
- 1:04Speaker 4: make that happen, and it could be a major moment
- 1:07Speaker 4: for this White House, including the possibility of an executive order.
- 1:11Speaker 4: We'll have those details for you as well. It's the
- 1:14Speaker 4: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now. Story
- 1:18Speaker 4: number one in a shocking article coming from the New
- 1:21Speaker 4: York Times, Yes, that New York Times, the liberal New
- 1:25Speaker 4: York Times, they are now claiming that Joe Biden did
- 1:29Speaker 4: not know what he was signing when it came to
- 1:31Speaker 4: many of the pardons on his way out of office.
- 1:35Speaker 4: And the New York Times article by Tyler Peger this
- 1:38Speaker 4: week coming out, quoting from the forthcoming book Original Sin,
- 1:42Speaker 4: stated that Biden's inner circle blocked Joe Biden from campaign
- 1:47Speaker 4: prep and removed him from pole briefings. We're now learning
- 1:51Speaker 4: even more about what was actually happening around the president.
- 1:55Speaker 4: It was more than just blocking him from those types
- 1:58Speaker 4: of things. But apparently he didn't know what he was
- 2:00Speaker 4: signing when it came to the auto pen.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Donald Trump saying this about the president.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Listen carefully, right, I get we get thousands of letters
- 2:11Speaker 1: a week. Says here write thousands, I mean tens of thousands.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Sometimes I look at a room. There's a room where
- 2:17Speaker 1: we have many, many people working, responding and sending letters back.
- 2:22Speaker 1: That's what an autopen supposed to be. To write to
- 2:25Speaker 1: a young seven year old boy that writes to the
- 2:28Speaker 1: president and he wants to be president someday and he
- 2:31Speaker 1: loves America. That's what the autopen's supposed to be. It's
- 2:34Speaker 1: not supposed to be for signing major legislation and all
- 2:39Speaker 1: of the things. No, the outopen, and I doubt he knew.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I doubt I doubt they even.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Spoke to him about it. I think they had. It's
- 2:46Speaker 1: called a free wheeling autopen. Like Biden was never for
- 2:50Speaker 1: open borders. Biden was never for transgender for everyone. So
- 2:56Speaker 1: I don't think he I think the radical left people
- 2:59Speaker 1: that took the took over the White House, and if
- 3:01Speaker 1: I didn't win, our country was finished.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Not only did President Trump say that, but he went
- 3:07Speaker 4: on to say this as well.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Look, the auto pen, I think is maybe one of
- 3:11Speaker 1: the biggest scandals that we've had in fifty to one
- 3:16Speaker 1: hundred years. This is a tremendous scandal. And I know
- 3:20Speaker 1: the people on the other side of the Oscia desk,
- 3:23Speaker 1: that resolute desk unfortunately used it before me. But you know,
- 3:28Speaker 1: we have our choice of seven disks. You're all beautiful,
- 3:32Speaker 1: But I chose the resolute and so did he. Unfortunately,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but the people on the other side of the resolute
- 3:39Speaker 1: desk I know them, Lisa, the whole group, and they're
- 3:43Speaker 1: no good. There's sick people. And I guarantee he knew
- 3:49Speaker 1: nothing about what he was signing. I guarantee it.
- 3:53Speaker 4: This comes on top of new reporting that Biden's chief
- 3:56Speaker 4: of staff reportedly gave approval for autopen pardons on the
- 4:01Speaker 4: final day in office, saying, quote, I approved the use
- 4:06Speaker 4: of the autopen for the execution of all of the
- 4:09Speaker 4: following pardons.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Biden's chief of staff.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Jeff Zenz wrote in an email, it's actually a paper
- 4:16Speaker 4: trail now the former president, Joe Biden's chief of staff
- 4:19Speaker 4: issuing the final approval for multiple high profile preemptive pardons
- 4:24Speaker 4: during Biden's final days in office. Biden's alleged use to
- 4:28Speaker 4: the autopen has become a sticking point now for are
- 4:31Speaker 4: these pardons actually real? Donald Trump has said thousands of
- 4:35Speaker 4: pardons that Biden signed were void and claimed that the
- 4:38Speaker 4: former president did not know what documents he was signing
- 4:41Speaker 4: through the autopen device. Now, Biden has issued a series
- 4:45Speaker 4: of preemptive pardons in the final days when he was
- 4:47Speaker 4: the president, including the former chief Medical Advisor to the President,
- 4:51Speaker 4: Anthony Fauci and the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
- 4:55Speaker 4: of Staff, General Mark Millie, an attempt to safeguard them
- 4:58Speaker 4: from retribution. He called that from Donald Trump. Now in
- 5:02Speaker 4: an article intended to be his defense of the autopen issue,
- 5:06Speaker 4: it emerged that although Biden reportedly made the decision in
- 5:09Speaker 4: a meeting, Biden's chief of staff is the one who
- 5:13Speaker 4: gave final approval for the use of the auto pen,
- 5:17Speaker 4: at least in the case of Fauci and Millie. The
- 5:20Speaker 4: New York Times is now confirming. On Biden's final day
- 5:24Speaker 4: as president, January nineteenth, Biden had a meeting with his
- 5:28Speaker 4: aids until nearly ten pm to talk about various preemptive pardons.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Emails obtained by The Times show that an AIDS in
- 5:36Speaker 4: a summary draft of the decisions formalized during the meeting
- 5:41Speaker 4: to the assistant of the Chief of Staff at ten
- 5:43Speaker 4: oh three pm. The assistant then sent the email to
- 5:47Speaker 4: the Chief of Staff and others present in the meeting,
- 5:50Speaker 4: requesting approval from the Chief of Staff, not the President,
- 5:55Speaker 4: and the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Bruce will
- 5:58Speaker 4: read at ten twenty eight. The Times is also reporting
- 6:02Speaker 4: the chief of staff then replied, all to the email.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Three months later, I approved the use of the auto
- 6:07Speaker 4: pen for the execution of all of the following pardons.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Biden's chief of staff sent an email, according to Times,
- 6:14Speaker 4: guess what. That chief of staff could not be immediately
- 6:17Speaker 4: reached for comment when being asked about all of this now. Additionally,
- 6:22Speaker 4: the Times report said Biden did not personally approve each
- 6:26Speaker 4: name included in the broad categorical pardons. Rather, after extends
- 6:31Speaker 4: a discussion of different possible criteria, he signed off on
- 6:35Speaker 4: the standards he wanted to be used to determine which
- 6:38Speaker 4: convicts would qualify for reduction in sentence. The Time states.
- 6:44Speaker 4: When asked about the Times report, Donald Trump telling reporters
- 6:47Speaker 4: of the White House that Biden's alleged use to the
- 6:49Speaker 4: autopen amounts to possibly again one of the biggest scannals
- 6:53Speaker 4: that we've had in fifty to one hundred years. So
- 6:57Speaker 4: now it is going to be up to the court
- 7:00Speaker 4: decide are these pardons actually legitimate or are people like
- 7:05Speaker 4: doctor Anthony Fauci finally gonna have to face the music.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Now story number two, it is a very important.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Piece of legislation that very well could become an executive
- 7:15Speaker 4: order and finally be done in the US something that's
- 7:19Speaker 4: already been done around the world. Texas GOP Center Ted
- 7:22Speaker 4: Cruz is set to introduce a bill that would formally
- 7:26Speaker 4: designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, the Muslim
- 7:31Speaker 4: Brotherhood Terrorists Designation Act of twenty twenty five, which follows
- 7:35Speaker 4: repeated attempts to name the group of terrorist organization. Now
- 7:39Speaker 4: it differs from previous versions as it calls for a
- 7:42Speaker 4: bottom up approach, and, according to a fact she provided
- 7:47Speaker 4: by Sentaer Cruis office, the previous attempts failed because quote,
- 7:51Speaker 4: not all Muslim Brotherhood branches are currently violent and wouldn't
- 7:56Speaker 4: therefore meet the criteria for designation. Now, let's be clear
- 8:00Speaker 4: about what other countries are doing. Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Aradibia, Syria,
- 8:05Speaker 4: and the United Air of Emirates already designate the Muslim
- 8:09Speaker 4: Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. The bill urges Secretary of
- 8:13Speaker 4: State Marco Rubio to catalog Muslim Brotherhood branches that are
- 8:17Speaker 4: designated as terrorist groups and designated additional ones that meet
- 8:21Speaker 4: relevant criteria, and mandates the designation of the Global Muslim
- 8:25Speaker 4: Brotherhood for its support for those terrorist groups that approach
- 8:30Speaker 4: actually mirrors with President Donald Trump did in twenty seventeen
- 8:35Speaker 4: in his effort to sanction Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard known
- 8:39Speaker 4: as the IRGC, an effort that designated the IRGC is
- 8:44Speaker 4: a foreign terrorist group. Now, Cruz's effort is openly supported
- 8:48Speaker 4: by GOP centers from Arkansas, Tom Cotton, for example, and
- 8:53Speaker 4: Rick Scott and Florida, as well as Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Arab allies also appear ready to back the initiative, with
- 9:00Speaker 4: one official telling The Free Beacon in June that any
- 9:04Speaker 4: of the countries in the Middle East that have already
- 9:06Speaker 4: designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization would welcome
- 9:10Speaker 4: the United States doing the same thing now. Cruis's bill
- 9:14Speaker 4: would use three ways to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a
- 9:17Speaker 4: terrorist organization, Congressional action under the nineteen eighty seven Anti
- 9:21Speaker 4: Terrorism Act, the State Department recognizing the Muslim Brotherhood as
- 9:25Speaker 4: a terrorist organization, and specific designation as a specially designated
- 9:30Speaker 4: global terrorist group. This is just some of what they're
- 9:33Speaker 4: now looking at now. The Secretary of State Marco Rubio
- 9:37Speaker 4: would have ninety days after the bill passes to submit
- 9:40Speaker 4: a report to Congress cataloging all Muslim Brotherhood branches around
- 9:44Speaker 4: the globe. The legislation would instruct him to designate any
- 9:48Speaker 4: identified group that meets the criteria. The bill then authorizes
- 9:52Speaker 4: a formal designation for the Muslim Brotherhood's global operation under
- 9:57Speaker 4: the nineteen eighty seven ATA, creating a primary embargo under
- 10:01Speaker 4: which Americans are banned from engaging in financial transactions with
- 10:05Speaker 4: the group and rendering its services.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Now.
- 10:08Speaker 4: In April, Jordan, the country banned the Muslim Brotherhood from
- 10:12Speaker 4: the country altogether according to their charter. The terrorist group
- 10:15Speaker 4: Hamas is a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim
- 10:19Speaker 4: Brotherhood assassinated Egyptian president Inwarsadada in nineteen eighty one for
- 10:24Speaker 4: making peace, by the way, with Israel. The Muslim Brotherhood's
- 10:27Speaker 4: goal is clear to turn the world into a theocratic empire.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Stand with us. Has also said.
- 10:33Speaker 4: The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in the Egyptian nineteen twenty eight,
- 10:37Speaker 4: is a revolutionary fundamentalist movement to restore the caliphate and
- 10:41Speaker 4: strict Sharia. Islamic law is something that they demand. I
- 10:46Speaker 4: want you to hear more directly from what Centater Cruz
- 10:48Speaker 4: had to say about this legislation and also the fact
- 10:52Speaker 4: that this could become an executive order.
- 10:55Speaker 5: The Muslim Brotherhood is a global Islamist violent organisation. It
- 11:00Speaker 5: was founded in nineteen twenty eight in Egypt. It was
- 11:03Speaker 5: a fringe group for the first few decades, and then
- 11:06Speaker 5: it grew dramatically inside of Egypt, and then it spread beyond.
- 11:10Speaker 5: The Muslim Brotherhood has branches and countries and territories all
- 11:13Speaker 5: over the world, and they are openly committed to seizing
- 11:17Speaker 5: control of those countries and seizing control of those territories.
- 11:21Speaker 5: They explicitly intend to use violent jihad to overthrow non
- 11:27Speaker 5: Islamist governments. During the Obama administration, they did. They seized
- 11:32Speaker 5: control of Egypt. Mohammed Morci and the Muslim Brotherhood seized
- 11:37Speaker 5: control until they were ultimately overthrown by the Egyptian Army.
- 11:41Speaker 5: By the way, when the Muslim Brotherhood took over Egypt,
- 11:44Speaker 5: the Obama administration cheered them on. And how do we
- 11:48Speaker 5: know that the Muslim Brotherhood supports terrorism because several of
- 11:51Speaker 5: their branches are explicit terrorist organizations. Among those is Hamas
- 11:57Speaker 5: which everyone listening to this podcast knows about Hamas. Hamas
- 12:02Speaker 5: is one of the wings of the Muslim Brotherhood. They
- 12:05Speaker 5: also include other groups that folks may not have heard about,
- 12:10Speaker 5: like Hassum and Lewa al Thawrah, both of which the
- 12:15Speaker 5: State Department says have been associated with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood,
- 12:20Speaker 5: and they are branches that have already been formally designated
- 12:23Speaker 5: as terrorist groups. Other Brotherhood branches are committing terrorism right now,
- 12:29Speaker 5: but they haven't yet been formally designated. Just a few
- 12:31Speaker 5: weeks ago, the Jordanian government disrupted attacks being planned by
- 12:37Speaker 5: Brotherhood members and police raided the Islamic Action Front, which
- 12:42Speaker 5: is the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood branch. I think it would
- 12:45Speaker 5: make a very good sense for us to vote on
- 12:47Speaker 5: it on the Senate floor, for John Thune to bring
- 12:50Speaker 5: it up and make senators vote. Most of the Democrats
- 12:53Speaker 5: are going to vote now. I think it'd be valuable
- 12:56Speaker 5: to get them on record, force them to vote. But
- 12:59Speaker 5: I'll tell you what I think the real path to
- 13:01Speaker 5: success will be is that we're going to lead the
- 13:03Speaker 5: fight in the Senate. I hope we tee this up
- 13:05Speaker 5: for a vote and if the Democrats block it, which
- 13:10Speaker 5: in all likelihood they will they have for a decade.
- 13:13Speaker 5: What I think is going to happen is I think
- 13:14Speaker 5: the President is going to do this through an executive order.
- 13:17Speaker 5: And I'm certainly urging President Trump to designate the Muslim
- 13:20Speaker 5: Brotherhood as a terrorist organization through an executive order. And
- 13:25Speaker 5: I think the fight that I'm leading in the Senate
- 13:29Speaker 5: helps build momentum for the President to step in and
- 13:33Speaker 5: make this designation. I think it's going to happen. I
- 13:35Speaker 5: think we're going to see it happen this term.
- 13:36Speaker 4: There's no doubt the Muslim Brotherhood is a global terrorist organization.
- 13:40Speaker 4: In fact, they have chapters in eighty different countries. And
- 13:44Speaker 4: if you want to know what the Brotherhood thinks about America,
- 13:47Speaker 4: they want America to fall in twenty ten. They're Supreme
- 13:51Speaker 4: Guide told their followers to quote be patient because America
- 13:55Speaker 4: is heading towards its demise.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Make no doubt about it.
- 13:59Speaker 4: It's longer for us to designate the Muslim Brotherhood is
- 14:02Speaker 4: a terrorist organization, and hopefully it's something the President will
- 14:06Speaker 4: be doing very soon.
