Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Special Counsel Jack Smith Adds New Charges Against Donald Trump
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Lying in wait.
- 0:02Speaker 2: That is apparently what Special Council Jack Smith was doing.
- 0:07Speaker 2: This says he was waiting to see what happened with
- 0:10Speaker 2: the Hunter Biden plea deal. When that fell apart, he
- 0:14Speaker 2: decided to pounce, adding new charges to change the media
- 0:19Speaker 2: narrative against Donald Trump. The Special Council Jack Smith brought
- 0:24Speaker 2: these new charges against former President Donald Trump in the
- 0:27Speaker 2: mar Lago White House document case. Smith has charged Trump
- 0:33Speaker 2: with one count a wilful retention of national defense documents
- 0:38Speaker 2: and two counts of obstruction. Now, Trump's assistant, who was
- 0:43Speaker 2: previously charged in the first round of indictments, also received
- 0:48Speaker 2: two new obstruction related charges. Now, this new set of
- 0:54Speaker 2: indictments also added another person to the list of those
- 0:58Speaker 2: who've been indicted. They have now also charge Carlos di Lavera.
- 1:03Speaker 2: He is a Marlago head of maintenance, with altering, destroying, mutilating,
- 1:09Speaker 2: or concealing a document. They also have charged him with
- 1:14Speaker 2: making false statements and conspiracy to obstruct justice. Now, to
- 1:18Speaker 2: be clear, you now have the Special Counsel who is
- 1:22Speaker 2: going after a maintenance man in this case. Let that
- 1:26Speaker 2: just sink in. The superseding indictment also charges Trump. This
- 1:33Speaker 2: maintenance man and his former or his personal assistant, with
- 1:37Speaker 2: two new obstruction counts based on allegations that the defendants
- 1:42Speaker 2: attempted to delete surveillance video footage at Marlago Club in
- 1:46Speaker 2: the summer of twenty twenty two. That is what a
- 1:49Speaker 2: statement from the Special Council spokesman Peter Carr said, as
- 1:53Speaker 2: CNBC reported it this way, they said, quote, Trump is
- 1:57Speaker 2: also newly accused of retaining a classified document detailing a
- 2:03Speaker 2: US military plan of attack on Iran, which Trump showed
- 2:07Speaker 2: to a writer, publisher, and two staff members at his
- 2:10Speaker 2: club in Medminster, New Jersey, on July the twenty first
- 2:14Speaker 2: of twenty twenty one. Now, at the time, Trump had
- 2:18Speaker 2: not been president for five months, and his guests did
- 2:21Speaker 2: not have security clearances quote to view the document. This
- 2:26Speaker 2: according to the indictment in the US District Court for
- 2:29Speaker 2: the Southern District of Florida. Now, with the additional charges,
- 2:34Speaker 2: Trump is now facing forty counts in this criminal case.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Trump spokesperson Stephen Chung blasted the US Department of Justice
- 2:43Speaker 2: for the new charges, calling it a continued, desperate and
- 2:46Speaker 2: failing attempt by the Biden crime family and their Department
- 2:50Speaker 2: of Justice to harass President Trump and those around him.
- 2:54Speaker 2: They then said, quote, deranged Jack Smith knows that they
- 2:57Speaker 2: have no case and is casting about out for any
- 3:01Speaker 2: way to salvage their legal witch hunt and to get
- 3:04Speaker 2: someone other than Donald Trump to run against crooked Joe Biden.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I actually couldn't agree more with that statement from the
- 3:11Speaker 2: Trump team. And the reason why I say that is
- 3:14Speaker 2: because the timing of this screams, oh crap, we've got
- 3:18Speaker 2: Joe Biden in trouble. This plea deal didn't go through.
- 3:22Speaker 2: What are we gonna do now? All right, Okay, we
- 3:26Speaker 2: got a plan. All right, Let's charge Trump and the
- 3:28Speaker 2: maintenance guy at Marlago and the other guy his assistant
- 3:32Speaker 2: with even more heinous crimes and that'll change the news cycle,
- 3:37Speaker 2: and that will change the narrative. Guess what, it worked.
- 3:41Speaker 2: The media completely forgot. And I say that sarcastically, that
- 3:48Speaker 2: Joe Biden is in serious trouble now that the whistleblowers
- 3:52Speaker 2: have come forward have shown an incredible amount of evidence
- 3:55Speaker 2: against the Biden crime family. They needed the narrative to change,
- 4:00Speaker 2: needed to give the media something to get it to
- 4:02Speaker 2: change quickly. They accomplished that. That was their objective. It
- 4:07Speaker 2: was their goal and they did it. Folks, this is
- 4:10Speaker 2: how you do it. But first I want to take
- 4:12Speaker 2: a quick moment to tell you about our good friends
- 4:14Speaker 2: at COVID tax Relief dot Org. Look, you did the
- 4:18Speaker 2: tough thing during COVID. You paid your people and pulled
- 4:21Speaker 2: your business through the pandemic. And now doing the tough
- 4:24Speaker 2: thing could qualify you for a twenty six thousand dollars
- 4:28Speaker 2: per employee at COVID tax Relief dot Org. Government funds
- 4:33Speaker 2: are available to reward companies with two or more employees
- 4:36Speaker 2: who stayed open during COVID. This is not a loan
- 4:41Speaker 2: and you don't have to pay it back. Look, this
- 4:43Speaker 2: program is complicated, but nobody knows more about it than
- 4:46Speaker 2: the cpa is and tax experts at Consumer Tax Advocates.
- 4:50Speaker 2: The best part is you pay nothing upfront. They do
- 4:53Speaker 2: all the work and then they share a percentage of
- 4:55Speaker 2: cash that you get. Businesses of all types, including nonprofits
- 4:59Speaker 2: and churches can qualify, including those who took PBP loans.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Even if you had increases in sales. You did the
- 5:07Speaker 2: tough thing for your employees during COVID. Let COVID tax
- 5:10Speaker 2: Relief dot Org help get you up to twenty six
- 5:14Speaker 2: thousand dollars per employee. But the COVID tax Relief dot org.
- 5:18Speaker 2: That's COVID tax Relief dot org. COVID tax Relief dot org. Now,
- 5:25Speaker 2: Donald Trump has also set down with Brightbart News in
- 5:30Speaker 2: an interview that they received that they got exclusively with
- 5:33Speaker 2: him in New Jersey. And I want you to hear
- 5:37Speaker 2: what he had to say in Bedminster, New Jersey during
- 5:39Speaker 2: this interview.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Listen, before we sat down here, the Special Council put
- 5:44Speaker 3: out a superseding indictment. Was What that means is additional
- 5:47Speaker 3: charges against you in the document's case, as well as
- 5:51Speaker 3: they add in another defendant, the head of maintenance Stone
- 5:54Speaker 3: at mar A Lago. What's your I don't know if
- 5:56Speaker 3: you've had a chance to review this.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Sitting down, this is harassment, this is election interference. I'm
- 6:04Speaker 4: protected by the Presidential Records Act totally.
- 6:08Speaker 5: It shouldn't even be a case. It's not a criminal case.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Where's Biden with all the documents He's got twenty times
- 6:15Speaker 4: thirty times the documents I have, and he has not
- 6:17Speaker 4: made it easy for them either. They're hiding boxes. There's
- 6:21Speaker 4: any boxes to Chinatown. Boxes are being sent to Chinatown.
- 6:25Speaker 4: And yet China's paying them millions of dollars. You explained
- 6:27Speaker 4: that one and you don't even hear about it. What
- 6:30Speaker 4: you hear about is Trump. Now, this is a two
- 6:32Speaker 4: tier system of injustice, and that's what we have. We
- 6:36Speaker 4: have a sick country. Our country is very sick right now.
- 6:39Speaker 4: We have a failing nation. And it's a very sad
- 6:42Speaker 4: thing to watch.
- 6:44Speaker 3: You've called Jack Smith de range again. If you're an
- 6:46Speaker 3: elected president again, he's somebody you would fire.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Well, I wouldn't keep them, Jack Smith, Why would I
- 6:52Speaker 4: keep them?
- 6:52Speaker 5: He is de ranged.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Look, he's gone after other people, been overturned unanimously in
- 6:58Speaker 4: the Supreme Court. He's destroyed a lot of lives. Lives
- 7:02Speaker 4: have been destroyed, and he's destroyed people. He's destroyed lives,
- 7:06Speaker 4: and you know, virtually illegally. He was lowest learner in
- 7:10Speaker 4: the irs case, which is one of the most egregious abuses.
- 7:14Speaker 4: What happened. The government had to apologize to people. Went
- 7:17Speaker 4: after Christians. Now, this is a guy, he's a wild man,
- 7:21Speaker 4: and I call him deranged. And he's been overturned and
- 7:24Speaker 4: he went after the governor of Virginia overturned unanimously. He
- 7:28Speaker 4: went after another senator or something. What he's done is
- 7:35Speaker 4: just horrible and the abuse of power. It is prosecutorial misconduct.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Do you think that this case is the cases that
- 7:43Speaker 3: he's bringing against you are going to end up when
- 7:46Speaker 3: we look back on them in history, We'll be looking
- 7:49Speaker 3: back at them like we look back at his case
- 7:51Speaker 3: against Edwards, in his case against Center Edwards as who
- 7:54Speaker 3: you're talking about there, or Governor McDonald. And he's done
- 7:56Speaker 3: it with people at both parties.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I think they'll end up being embarrassment to the Democrats
- 8:01Speaker 4: and an embarrassment to our country.
- 8:03Speaker 5: And they have lifted my poll numbers.
- 8:05Speaker 4: In all fairness, they didn't want to run against me,
- 8:07Speaker 4: That's why they did it.
- 8:08Speaker 1: They did this so that.
- 8:09Speaker 4: I wouldn't get the nomination, and it actually had the
- 8:12Speaker 4: reverse effect. It's lifted my numbers. But I was winning
- 8:15Speaker 4: anyway by a lot. And now the poles just came
- 8:17Speaker 4: out today. I'm winning by like forty points forty five points,
- 8:20Speaker 4: and I'm also beating Biden by a lot, and DeSantis
- 8:23Speaker 4: or dysanctimonious as I call them, is losing very badly
- 8:26Speaker 4: to Biden. I'm winning by a lot to Biden. They
- 8:30Speaker 4: don't want to run against me. That's why they did it,
- 8:32Speaker 4: and it's had a reverse impact because the public is
- 8:35Speaker 4: smart and they see this stuff. And now maybe a
- 8:38Speaker 4: January sixth case, I don't know, maybe not too because
- 8:41Speaker 4: it's nothing wrong. But what they're doing has been not
- 8:46Speaker 4: been received very well by the public because the poll
- 8:49Speaker 4: numbers are through the roof. But they did this in
- 8:51Speaker 4: order to get me out, and it's incredible because the
- 8:54Speaker 4: public gets it and it had the opposite impact.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Now, look, I think Donald Trump is right in wrong
- 9:00Speaker 2: on his analysis here. I do believe that there is
- 9:03Speaker 2: no doubt they want to get rid of him and
- 9:06Speaker 2: they want him not to be able to even be
- 9:08Speaker 2: president ever again through these charges. I also think that
- 9:12Speaker 2: they absolutely want Donald Trump to be the nominee. Democrats
- 9:16Speaker 2: truly believe that Donald Trump is the easiest candidate to
- 9:20Speaker 2: beat in the field. That's why they're not afraid of
- 9:24Speaker 2: him getting the nomination. They want him to get the nomination.
- 9:27Speaker 2: A lot of Democrats that I've spoken with have so
- 9:29Speaker 2: that to me openly, Look, we want Donald Trump to
- 9:32Speaker 2: get the nomination because then we believe after he gets
- 9:34Speaker 2: that nomination, he'll be so bogged down legally, right, he'll
- 9:40Speaker 2: be in such bad shape legally that he is going
- 9:44Speaker 2: to have to At that point he will just you know, lose.
- 9:49Speaker 6: It will be.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Easier to beat.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I disagree with that, Okay, I want to make that clear.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I think that Donald Trump has a very good chance
- 9:57Speaker 2: to win this thing if he gets the nomination. But
- 10:00Speaker 2: I also think that the Democrats understand they can saddle
- 10:03Speaker 2: him and get him off his game and get him
- 10:05Speaker 2: to focus on this other stuff, then it's going to
- 10:07Speaker 2: be game on for them. I want to talk about
- 10:12Speaker 2: the aspect of election interference here as well. Is the
- 10:15Speaker 2: or are these indictments of Donald J. Trump in essence
- 10:19Speaker 2: election interference? Absolutely the fact that his poll numbers went
- 10:24Speaker 2: up after the indictment proves that it is election inference.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Because election interference means you're changing or altering the normal
- 10:31Speaker 2: course of an election, and you're charging some of them
- 10:35Speaker 2: with crimes to try to alter and or change an election.
- 10:41Speaker 2: This has changed the election for every Republican that's running.
- 10:45Speaker 2: This has changed certainly the election for a guy like
- 10:47Speaker 2: Ronda Santis. It has changed the election for Donald Trump. Now,
- 10:52Speaker 2: it doesn't mean that you're not changing your altering election.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I want to make this clear.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Sometimes It can be a positive, right, it can backfire
- 10:59Speaker 2: on Democrats, or it may not right.
- 11:03Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But what we do know, what we know very very
- 11:08Speaker 2: very very very clearly, is that this has altered and
- 11:12Speaker 2: changed the election. You look at the timing of these
- 11:15Speaker 2: new charges, and everybody that's listening right now can see
- 11:22Speaker 2: it's not hard to put all this together that they
- 11:26Speaker 2: are trying to alter and change not just the election,
- 11:30Speaker 2: but even news cycles.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Right, this was probably the worst week we've.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Ever had for the Biden crime family with this plea
- 11:37Speaker 2: deal falling apart. So immediately this activist special counsel Jack
- 11:45Speaker 2: Smith does what he does, Well, Okay, I'll find some
- 11:48Speaker 2: other charges to charge Donald Trump with and I'll find
- 11:51Speaker 2: some maintenance men to charge with crimes as well. And
- 11:54Speaker 2: then when I do that, then we'll get back on
- 11:56Speaker 2: track here to destroying and ruin it right and ruining everything.
- 12:02Speaker 2: And that's what we'll do. And that's exactly what happened.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Like this is how it went down.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Now.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Donald Trump also had a few hours to think about
- 12:11Speaker 2: all of this, and then he talked about the employees
- 12:14Speaker 2: that are now being affected, those that are around him
- 12:17Speaker 2: just doing their jobs and who now it is very
- 12:20Speaker 2: clear they're coming after him and everybody else. And what
- 12:22Speaker 2: they're trying to do is they're trying to say to
- 12:25Speaker 2: anyone around Donald Trump, run Look. I know people that
- 12:29Speaker 2: have decided not to work directly with Donald Trump because
- 12:32Speaker 2: they're not willing to take the financial risk. I know
- 12:35Speaker 2: people just in the January sixth had to spend four
- 12:38Speaker 2: hundred thousand or more on legal fees, even though they
- 12:42Speaker 2: basically weren't involved at all in anything to do with
- 12:44Speaker 2: January sixth, but they were around it. So therefore they're like,
- 12:47Speaker 2: all right, bring them in here, make them lawyer up,
- 12:50Speaker 2: and make them play defense, and let's try to break
- 12:53Speaker 2: them financially. So there are good men and women that
- 12:57Speaker 2: would love to work for the President of the night,
- 13:00Speaker 2: i'd say, of America, that are afraid to do it
- 13:03Speaker 2: now because it seems like every person around him that
- 13:07Speaker 2: they can charge with any crime based on politics, they're
- 13:10Speaker 2: willing to do it, including now the maintenance man. So
- 13:14Speaker 2: it's not crazy to think this way either, right that, Hey,
- 13:17Speaker 2: it's just I can't take the financial risk. Here's what
- 13:21Speaker 2: President Trump had to say about the other employees they're
- 13:23Speaker 2: now going after.
- 13:25Speaker 7: So they went after two fine employees yesterday find people
- 13:30Speaker 7: and I don't think they think that the tips or
- 13:32Speaker 7: even she's what my tapes that we gave to them,
- 13:36Speaker 7: and they basically then say that's not enough. I don't
- 13:38Speaker 7: think we would have had a gift. I'm not sure
- 13:40Speaker 7: that we would have even had to give it. If
- 13:42Speaker 7: these were security tips we handed them over.
- 13:44Speaker 1: To them, I doubt we would have.
- 13:46Speaker 7: If we wanted to fight that, I doubt we would
- 13:48Speaker 7: have had to give it. But regardless, we gave it.
- 13:52Speaker 2: So again the president, they're saying, look, we gave them
- 13:54Speaker 2: these tapes. They're now saying we altered or changed or
- 13:56Speaker 2: tried to lead these tapes. He's like, no, he didn't like.
- 13:59Speaker 2: This is what we did. But this is the weaponization
- 14:03Speaker 2: of a government to try to destroy their political opponent.
- 14:09Speaker 1: That is what this is.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Now, before I get into more of this story, I
- 14:13Speaker 2: want to say thank you and tell you about our
- 14:15Speaker 2: good friends.
- 14:15Speaker 1: At Patriot Mobile.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Every day we hear about another familiar brand selling out
- 14:20Speaker 2: their customers and going all woke. Americans are sick and
- 14:24Speaker 2: tired of having leftist propaganda jammed into every product we consume.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Woke mobile companies are no different. For years, probably the
- 14:33Speaker 2: cell phone provider you have right now has been dumping
- 14:36Speaker 2: millions of dollars into liberal causes, including planned parenthood, and
- 14:41Speaker 2: you had to deal with it because you had to
- 14:43Speaker 2: have a cell phone and there was no alternative.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Well not anymore.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Now you can switch to Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian
- 14:50Speaker 2: conservative wireless provider, offering dependable nationwide coverage on all three
- 14:56Speaker 2: major networks, so you get the best possible coverage in
- 14:59Speaker 2: your area, minus the low leftist propaganda. When you switch
- 15:04Speaker 2: to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a message that you support
- 15:06Speaker 2: free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment,
- 15:10Speaker 2: and our military veterans and first responder heroes. They have
- 15:13Speaker 2: one hundred percent US based customer service team that makes
- 15:16Speaker 2: switching easy.
- 15:17Speaker 1: You get to keep your.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Same phone and your same phone number two or upgrade
- 15:22Speaker 2: to a new phone if you want to go right
- 15:24Speaker 2: now to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile
- 15:30Speaker 2: dot com slash ferguson, or call them eight seven eight
- 15:34Speaker 2: Patriot that's eight seven eight Patriot. Use the promo code
- 15:38Speaker 2: ferguson and you will get the best deals of the year.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile dot Com slash Ferguson or eight seven eight.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Patriot Representative Stephonics said this about the charges, the new
- 15:50Speaker 2: charges that have come against a Trump, You tod, this
- 15:53Speaker 2: is no more and no less than the weaponization of
- 15:55Speaker 2: the DOJ functioning like a political arm of the Biden
- 15:59Speaker 2: reelection campaign. She is absolutely right.
- 16:03Speaker 8: Bry in House, do you be conference chair elist Stephonic
- 16:07Speaker 8: to comment on this? Congresswoman, So when we look at this,
- 16:11Speaker 8: I think the rest of the story every time we
- 16:13Speaker 8: report on it is something happens in the legal realm,
- 16:16Speaker 8: and Trump gets a bump. Something happens in the legal realm,
- 16:19Speaker 8: Trump gets a bump. It's conference chair, do you understand
- 16:21Speaker 8: a little bit about what the word that goes into
- 16:23Speaker 8: getting everyone reelected?
- 16:24Speaker 5: Trump's going into an election.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Do you expect this latest news to be a bump
- 16:28Speaker 8: to deter donors? What do you expect Trump's supporters and
- 16:32Speaker 8: others will react to this?
- 16:33Speaker 5: Well, first of.
- 16:34Speaker 9: All, the American people see this for what it is,
- 16:36Speaker 9: and that is a weaponized Department of Justice that is
- 16:39Speaker 9: functioning like a political arm of Joe Biden's re election campaign.
- 16:43Speaker 9: And this is on top of the egregious abuse that
- 16:46Speaker 9: we've seen these federal agencies going back to twenty sixteen
- 16:49Speaker 9: with the fake phony Russia hoax, and think about the
- 16:52Speaker 9: amount of just news coverage from the mainstream media that
- 16:57Speaker 9: pushed that false narrative. And the other thing that's important,
- 16:59Speaker 9: Joey to take into consideration. This is the same week
- 17:02Speaker 9: that Hunter Biden. This was a stunning week hunter Biden's
- 17:05Speaker 9: immunity agreement.
- 17:06Speaker 5: They tried to slip in.
- 17:07Speaker 9: Thank goodness, this judge paid attention to every word because
- 17:11Speaker 9: they were about to allow Hunter Biden to get away
- 17:13Speaker 9: with numerous federal crimes and block him from any future prosecution.
- 17:18Speaker 9: So what do I think this means with the polls?
- 17:20Speaker 9: You know, President Trump is going to barrel towards a
- 17:22Speaker 9: win in this primary election and in the general election
- 17:25Speaker 9: as well. There was interesting reporting last night that of
- 17:27Speaker 9: the candidates, the one that Joe Biden is most fearful
- 17:30Speaker 9: of in his campaign is Donald Trump. And that was
- 17:33Speaker 9: not necessarily the case months ago. So what we've seen
- 17:35Speaker 9: is this strengthens Donald Trump's political position, and it's because
- 17:39Speaker 9: the American people are tired of these weaponized federal agencies
- 17:43Speaker 9: and that if your last name is Biden, you get
- 17:45Speaker 9: to live by a different set of rules versus if
- 17:47Speaker 9: your last name is Trump, you get targeted by these agencies.
- 17:52Speaker 2: There's not a single thing that she just said in
- 17:53Speaker 2: there that she's not accurate on that she's not correct.
- 17:57Speaker 2: It is truly shocking to see what they're willing to
- 18:01Speaker 2: do and what they're and and to the links they're
- 18:03Speaker 2: willing to go to bring down Americans. Never forget, these
- 18:07Speaker 2: are the same people that try to coop attempt on
- 18:10Speaker 2: the presidency of the United States of America. They didn't
- 18:13Speaker 2: like that the American people chose Donald Trump, and they
- 18:16Speaker 2: knew that they were impeaching him over things that they
- 18:18Speaker 2: knew were not true. They knew that still Dalcier was
- 18:21Speaker 2: a lie. They knew that Russian collusion was a lie.
- 18:24Speaker 2: They knew that the everything the second time with Ukraine
- 18:27Speaker 2: was wrong. In fact, it was actually against Joe Biden,
- 18:29Speaker 2: not against Donald J.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Trump.
- 18:31Speaker 2: They knew it was all a lie, and they used
- 18:34Speaker 2: that lie to impeach a president because they didn't like
- 18:39Speaker 2: who you chose. It's as simple as that. They said, no,
- 18:42Speaker 2: you're not allowed to choose Donald Trump. And since you
- 18:45Speaker 2: screwed this up, and since you chose Donald Trump, we're
- 18:49Speaker 2: going to overthrow your vote. We're going to overthrow the
- 18:51Speaker 2: will of the people, and we're going to get away
- 18:54Speaker 2: with it. And so far they absolutely have gotten away
- 18:56Speaker 2: with it. And then they were able to change and
- 18:58Speaker 2: alter how the second election went down with COVID, which
- 19:01Speaker 2: was brilliant, by the way, on ethical, shady as hell,
- 19:04Speaker 2: but brilliant. They said, Aha, we have an opportunity here
- 19:07Speaker 2: to change the rules because of lockdowns and change how
- 19:10Speaker 2: we do an election, and that worked as well. These
- 19:13Speaker 2: people are scumbags at the highest level. They are pure
- 19:18Speaker 2: scumbags who are anti American. They're not Democrats, they're communists.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Socialists and communists do this. They do this in third
- 19:26Speaker 2: world countries. They do this in the Banana Republic. They
- 19:29Speaker 2: go after their political opponents. Nelson Mandela is a great
- 19:33Speaker 2: example of this. Right, if you can't beat them, arrest them.
- 19:37Speaker 2: If you can't beat them, tear them down and destroy
- 19:41Speaker 2: their lives forever. Put them in jail. Never forget, they're
- 19:46Speaker 2: wanting Donald Trump with these charges to rod in jail.
- 19:50Speaker 2: They know how much time he could get for these charges, right,
- 19:52Speaker 2: That's why they've charged him with them and charging him
- 19:56Speaker 2: with these crimes. He would never see the light of day. Again,
- 19:59Speaker 2: there's also another part about this when it comes to security.
- 20:02Speaker 2: They would have to secure the president United States of America,
- 20:05Speaker 2: so in essence, would be solitary confinement from everybody in
- 20:09Speaker 2: the criminal world, right if they put him in jail.
- 20:11Speaker 2: And they know that as well, and they love that idea,
- 20:14Speaker 2: they love that fact, They love the possibility of that
- 20:17Speaker 2: that they could totally isolate the former president United States
- 20:20Speaker 2: of America and throw him in prison. There's also a
- 20:23Speaker 2: warning here that I also think is a really important
- 20:26Speaker 2: point that needs to be talked about. They're trying to
- 20:28Speaker 2: warn other people, and this is why they went after
- 20:31Speaker 2: the head of maintenance and charge the head of maintenance
- 20:34Speaker 2: of these crimes. They know he can't afford a legit
- 20:37Speaker 2: legal team. They know this will bankrupt him, charging him
- 20:40Speaker 2: with these crimes. They know right now that people are
- 20:43Speaker 2: losing their minds. They understand that, they know that people
- 20:46Speaker 2: are losing their minds. They know that people are freaking
- 20:49Speaker 2: out right now because they're afraid that if he can
- 20:52Speaker 2: be at charge of these crimes, then are they going
- 20:55Speaker 2: to come after me? Are they going to come after
- 20:56Speaker 2: who's next?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Right?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Like, who's going to be the next person? They come after.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Who is the next person. Is there anyone that's off
- 21:05Speaker 2: limits for the Democrats will They're saying, don't go work
- 21:08Speaker 2: with Donald Trump, don't help Donald Trump, don't spend time
- 21:12Speaker 2: with Donald Trump, because if you do, we will come
- 21:17Speaker 2: after you forever. We will put any of you that
- 21:21Speaker 2: we want to in prison, and you will be in
- 21:25Speaker 2: financial ruin even if we don't put you in prison.
- 21:28Speaker 2: That's why they're doing this. That's why they did this
- 21:30Speaker 2: to General Flynn at the beginning. That's why they did
- 21:33Speaker 2: this to everybody else during the Russian collusion, because they
- 21:37Speaker 2: wanted to financially bankrupt you and destroy you so you'd
- 21:39Speaker 2: finally just say, I give up. I can't work for
- 21:42Speaker 2: the president of the United States of America. It's too
- 21:44Speaker 2: risky to my life. Now, I said that the media
- 21:48Speaker 2: is going to use this, and the narrative is clear, Hey,
- 21:52Speaker 2: you stand with Trump, you work with Trump, will ruin
- 21:55Speaker 2: your life. NBC News did exactly what, but I just
- 22:00Speaker 2: told you they were going to do. NBC News had
- 22:04Speaker 2: a conversation between Joyce Vance, who's a former federal prosecutor,
- 22:09Speaker 2: and the former White House Press secretary under Joe Biden,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Jensaki and they said that the new Trump defendant is
- 22:18Speaker 2: basically screwed and has no choice but to flip.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Now they're saying this on National TV listen.
- 22:24Speaker 10: Really stuck out to you as you read through it,
- 22:27Speaker 10: the superseding indeatment.
- 22:28Speaker 5: I would say two things stuck out to me.
- 22:30Speaker 10: One, it's a whole new scheme with Nolt and de Olivera,
- 22:35Speaker 10: and it's very ham handed. They really look like, you know,
- 22:40Speaker 10: two bit criminals and as opposed to anything you know,
- 22:44Speaker 10: more sophisticated. That's one, But two, the really big thing
- 22:47Speaker 10: is de Olivera was just tailor made to be a
- 22:51Speaker 10: cooperating witness.
- 22:52Speaker 5: He has everything to lose.
- 22:54Speaker 10: They came at him hard, and I think what it
- 22:56Speaker 10: shows is Jack Smith does not bluff because there's some
- 23:00Speaker 10: downsides for him to bringing it now. And I think
- 23:03Speaker 10: they came to him and said, look, we've got you
- 23:06Speaker 10: with all these false statements, we've got you making these.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Other obstructive acts.
- 23:11Speaker 10: You better cooperate, and if you say no, we're bringing
- 23:14Speaker 10: charges and we're bringing them quickly. And he said no,
- 23:17Speaker 10: and they're bringing them quickly. He is someone who it's
- 23:21Speaker 10: hard to understand why he wouldn't be cooperating against both.
- 23:25Speaker 5: Now to Antrump, he has.
- 23:27Speaker 9: So much to lose here, I mean, Joyce, what are
- 23:29Speaker 9: your thoughts on that?
- 23:30Speaker 5: I mean, clearly they would want him to flip. Do
- 23:33Speaker 5: you think he's a likely candidate for that?
- 23:35Speaker 9: And what should we be watching for in that regard?
- 23:38Speaker 6: So I think Harry's dead on the money here, and
- 23:41Speaker 6: your question points that out. Jim, This, Jen, this is
- 23:44Speaker 6: a defendant who has almost no.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Choice but to flip.
- 23:48Speaker 6: He's looking at charges that have twenty year maximums, even
- 23:52Speaker 6: though that's not the real world sentencing.
- 23:54Speaker 5: He's looking at spending a big.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Chunk of time in prison if he goes forward, and
- 23:59Speaker 6: it's the final charge against him, this charge where he
- 24:02Speaker 6: goes in and talks to agents. They actually visit him
- 24:05Speaker 6: in his home. They tell him that he's free to
- 24:08Speaker 6: end the interview at any point in time, and then
- 24:10Speaker 6: he just lies to them in a bald faced manner
- 24:13Speaker 6: about when the boxes and the items from Washington first
- 24:16Speaker 6: come down tomorrow Agost. So they have him dead to
- 24:20Speaker 6: center if he does not cooperate, and what do they
- 24:24Speaker 6: get if he does cooperate. He is putting Trump front
- 24:28Speaker 6: and center in this scheme to have obstruct They have
- 24:32Speaker 6: Trump wanting to figure out if the videos can be erased.
- 24:37Speaker 6: This is so important in showing that this was not
- 24:40Speaker 6: an innocuous effort by the former president to hold on
- 24:43Speaker 6: to trophies or souvenirs from his time in office, but
- 24:47Speaker 6: that he in fact.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Knew that what he was doing was wrong.
- 24:51Speaker 6: And so if they can obtain de Oliver's cooperation, that's
- 24:55Speaker 6: probably the final nail in the coffin on this one.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Oh well, there you go, see, don't try is guilty.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Everybody go home. It's over right. You just had NBC
- 25:04Speaker 2: News say it. This is the final nail in the coffin,
- 25:09Speaker 2: right what do they say on CNN? That was NBC.
- 25:11Speaker 2: So CNN Aaron Burnette, this is what she said about
- 25:14Speaker 2: this right now on the coffin. This guy flips on
- 25:17Speaker 2: Donald Trump. He's going to prison. It's game over. That's
- 25:20Speaker 2: the NBC analysis. Let's move to CNN. Listen they lay
- 25:24Speaker 2: this out again.
- 25:24Speaker 11: Employee number four is the director of information technology from
- 25:27Speaker 11: mar A Lago, and it does appear this individual cooperated.
- 25:30Speaker 11: So the Delavera goes into the IT office, talks to
- 25:34Speaker 11: employee number four, takes them to a small room pulls
- 25:37Speaker 11: them away from everybody and tells this individual, I want
- 25:40Speaker 11: this conversation to remain between the two of us, and
- 25:43Speaker 11: asks how many days the server retains the video. The
- 25:47Speaker 11: person responds about forty five days, and then Dela Air
- 25:51Speaker 11: insisted Trump employee for that. The boss wanted to server
- 25:53Speaker 11: to lead and asked, what are we going to do?
- 25:56Speaker 5: It's all here, it's all there.
- 25:59Speaker 12: I mean, it reads like a spine novel, Like you know,
- 26:02Speaker 12: that's what you would what you would do. You would
- 26:04Speaker 12: try to get the it guy to wipe out the
- 26:07Speaker 12: video footage. I mean, it's just astonishing that this is
- 26:10Speaker 12: what Trump wanted to do. He wanted to destroy evidence
- 26:14Speaker 12: of a crime. I mean, that's really what this is.
- 26:16Speaker 11: And I should not though, Ryan, what I just said
- 26:18Speaker 11: is obviously what somebody said. Somebody said, Yes, this is
- 26:21Speaker 11: a little different than a text message. But when you
- 26:23Speaker 11: add it together with what I just laid out, the dates,
- 26:25Speaker 11: the time stamps, the text messages, is this black and white?
- 26:30Speaker 7: Oh?
- 26:30Speaker 5: Yes?
- 26:30Speaker 2: And also there it is put Donald Trump and jail.
- 26:33Speaker 2: We've said it's black and white. It's black and white.
- 26:36Speaker 2: This is black and white. It's all black and white.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Into discussion. Let's throw them in jail. Then you go
- 26:41Speaker 2: to CNN during their daytime coverage where they do CNN
- 26:45Speaker 2: has on their main person, Murray, who's on these zoo
- 26:48Speaker 2: charges against Trump.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Listen.
- 26:50Speaker 13: So when you dig into what's going on on June
- 26:53Speaker 13: twenty fourth, the prosecutors really delve into what transpired on
- 26:57Speaker 13: that day. I mean there's almost like a minute by
- 26:59Speaker 13: minute breakdown, and you look into this new superseding indictment.
- 27:02Speaker 13: So DOJ again sends this new subpoena to the Trump
- 27:05Speaker 13: organization attorneys, and around one thirty PM, Trump's attorney tells
- 27:10Speaker 13: Trump about the subpoena. Walt Nada, who again is one
- 27:14Speaker 13: of these Trump employees, is informed that Donald Trump wants
- 27:17Speaker 13: to speak with him. And less than two hours after that,
- 27:20Speaker 13: Walt Nada, who travels with Trump, we've seen him traveling
- 27:23Speaker 13: with Trump, changes his travel plans, decides to go to
- 27:26Speaker 13: Palm Beach instead of traveling with Trump. And he's pretty
- 27:29Speaker 13: cagy in when he's talking to people, as you've see
- 27:32Speaker 13: in this superseding indictment about the change in plans. He's
- 27:34Speaker 13: sending people shushing emojis about his change in plans. Let's
- 27:38Speaker 13: go back to the calendar and then look at what
- 27:41Speaker 13: happens a few days later. That's when we get into
- 27:43Speaker 13: that June twenty seventh timeline where de Olivera is trying
- 27:47Speaker 13: to get into more details about what the deal is
- 27:49Speaker 13: with the security footage. He learns that it's retained for
- 27:52Speaker 13: about forty five days, and this is when he tells
- 27:55Speaker 13: another Trump employee that it is the boss who wants
- 27:58Speaker 13: it deleted. And so that really is the meat of
- 28:01Speaker 13: this sort of scheme to try to attempt to erase
- 28:04Speaker 13: the surveillance footage. And if you think about all those
- 28:06Speaker 13: boxes moving in and out of the storage room when
- 28:09Speaker 13: they're supposed to all be handed over in response to
- 28:11Speaker 13: a subpoena, you can see here why prosecutors believe that
- 28:14Speaker 13: there was activity that Trump's team wanted to cover up.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Guys, So there it is, they've all convicted him.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Doesn't this sound exactly like how by the way they
- 28:23Speaker 2: covered Russian collusion.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Oh we've got on sources. Oh we have this.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Oh we heard he was working with this random bank.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Oh we know he's guilty. Ol he should go to
- 28:30Speaker 2: jail for this. He should go to prison for this.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Right like that, these are all the same. It's the
- 28:35Speaker 2: same exact playbook with Russian collusion with the same players
- 28:39Speaker 2: on TV. You know earlier they had another panel They're like, oh,
- 28:43Speaker 2: this is a dangerous moment in American history.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Here listen, well if.
- 28:46Speaker 14: This is a major breakthrough in this case, And just
- 28:49Speaker 14: to refresh our viewers' memories, there is an incident charge
- 28:52Speaker 14: in the initial indictment in charge again in this new
- 28:54Speaker 14: indictment where Donald Trump is showing people with no security
- 28:57Speaker 14: clearance after he's left the White House, people who are
- 28:59Speaker 14: writing a book about Mark Meadows. He's ruffling documents and
- 29:02Speaker 14: telling them to look at this. He says, I could
- 29:04Speaker 14: have declassified when I was in office, but I didn't.
- 29:08Speaker 14: And there had been some question, as Caaitln just laid
- 29:10Speaker 14: out about whether there was an actual classified document he
- 29:13Speaker 14: was showing or whether he was just puffing or exaggerating,
- 29:16Speaker 14: And as Kaitlyn said, donald Trump's representative said it was
- 29:18Speaker 14: the latter.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Now we know that's not true.
- 29:21Speaker 14: Now we know the document Donald Trump was showing these
- 29:24Speaker 14: people with zero security clearance was an actual, highly classified
- 29:29Speaker 14: document that had to do with war plans, and we
- 29:32Speaker 14: know DOJ has that document. They've now added a charge
- 29:35Speaker 14: against Donald Trump and why this is so important. It
- 29:38Speaker 14: is because this is the one incident in the whole
- 29:40Speaker 14: indictment where Donald Trump most flagrantly disseminates the information where
- 29:44Speaker 14: it's not just sitting in boxes in his bathroom or
- 29:47Speaker 14: on the stage at Marlago, which is bad, which is
- 29:49Speaker 14: potentially criminal, but it's the one most flagrant incident where
- 29:53Speaker 14: he's taking that information and giving it out to somebody.
- 29:56Speaker 14: And that's why it's such an important and dangerous moment
- 29:58Speaker 14: in this case.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Sas dangerous moment in this case. Do you know how
- 30:02Speaker 2: dangerous this moment is. This is exactly how they covered,
- 30:07Speaker 2: like to a t. I want to make that clear. Okay,
- 30:11Speaker 2: this is this is exactly, Okay, exactly how they covered
- 30:19Speaker 2: Russian collusion. He was guilty. There was no doubt that
- 30:24Speaker 2: this was the final straw. He should be impeached. She's
- 30:28Speaker 2: unfit to be commander in chief, he shouldn't have the
- 30:31Speaker 2: nuclear codes.
- 30:32Speaker 1: He's deranged. Remember all that.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Never never, ever, ever, ever ever forget that, right, because
- 30:40Speaker 2: that's what they said. That's what they did. Okay, do
- 30:43Speaker 2: not ever forget they was deranged. He was he was insane, right,
- 30:48Speaker 2: he was totally he was totally deranged. Totally psychotic, totally crazy,
- 30:52Speaker 2: never ever ever forget that, and that's what he was,
- 30:57Speaker 2: and they stuck with it and they never went away
- 30:59Speaker 2: from it, and they said, this is that he was guilty.
- 31:03Speaker 2: So when you hear all of this, remember what they
- 31:06Speaker 2: told you before, and remember how wrong they were. Don't
- 31:11Speaker 2: forget Share this podcast with your family and friends. Please
- 31:14Speaker 2: write a five story review and share it on social
- 31:16Speaker 2: media this episode so others will hear this.
