- 0:00Speaker 1: The Threat is a new hit podcast from Azzi Media
- 0:03Speaker 1: that explores history surprising connections in order to discover how
- 0:06Speaker 1: one thing leads to another, like how movie moguls in
- 0:09Speaker 1: early Hollywood helps spark the me Too movement Today. Get
- 0:13Speaker 1: it on I Heart Radio or wherever you listen. Yeah,
- 1:00Speaker 1: yo to go with me. Say you gotta turning a
- 1:22Speaker 1: yeah you run, you gotta turn to turn turn lovey
- 1:58Speaker 1: got to turn out. Come Come on, uh huh, I
- 2:17Speaker 1: shall will good onded everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:22Speaker 1: come on, dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I got a radio show, just trying to give God
- 2:30Speaker 1: some back, just some back of what even gave me,
- 2:35Speaker 1: just a portion, you know. Just I'm just trying, man
- 2:38Speaker 1: to to to show some type of gratitude for all
- 2:43Speaker 1: his blessings. I'm just trying to man, just just get
- 2:49Speaker 1: it right sometimes, you know what I mean. I mean, man,
- 2:52Speaker 1: you just can't do what you wanna do and just
- 2:54Speaker 1: live wrong all the time. Man, you got it at
- 2:56Speaker 1: one point in time, Steve, come home. Man, come on, man,
- 3:00Speaker 1: you could do better. I know you can, you know
- 3:03Speaker 1: saying and and you know what I had to do.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I had to stop saying I'm gonna try to do better,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going
- 3:10Speaker 1: to do better. You know, trying it's just to put
- 3:14Speaker 1: forth and that and then if it don't work, well okay.
- 3:17Speaker 1: But if you make up in your mind and I'm
- 3:18Speaker 1: going to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting
- 3:23Speaker 1: it done is the only thing that matters. It's the
- 3:25Speaker 1: difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to win
- 3:29Speaker 1: the game, or we're gonna go out here to win
- 3:31Speaker 1: the game. Now, trying to win the game means that
- 3:33Speaker 1: you could lose. But when you got in your mind
- 3:36Speaker 1: made up, most athletes will tell you that they go
- 3:39Speaker 1: out there with the full intent and purpose of winning
- 3:42Speaker 1: and winning. Only see they don't put the second place
- 3:46Speaker 1: finish on the cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't get
- 3:49Speaker 1: you there. You got to win. And now take it
- 3:53Speaker 1: out of the scope of athletics, but keep it in
- 3:55Speaker 1: that type of type of analogy in life. Man, you
- 3:58Speaker 1: just wanna you want to win in life, don't you.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I mean, at the end of the day, don't you
- 4:03Speaker 1: want to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated the
- 4:05Speaker 1: life don't you want to be recognized for your hard work.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Don't you want, you know, to be recognized within the
- 4:12Speaker 1: bonus structure down at your job. Don't you want to
- 4:15Speaker 1: have your plaque up on the wall down at your job.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I mean most people do. Some people could care less.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Some people don't care about looking good or being their best.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And that's cool. But I ain't talking to them though.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. I'm talking to those of you
- 4:27Speaker 1: who who who want to be the best you can be.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You know, people people kill me when they're getting mad
- 4:32Speaker 1: at at people there and he Brown knows and he
- 4:35Speaker 1: all up on the employee of the month man, the
- 4:37Speaker 1: dude doing his job to the best of his ability,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and he getting recognized for it. What they got to
- 4:42Speaker 1: do with all that you're talking about? Cause you ain't
- 4:44Speaker 1: up there. It's amazing, man, how people describe other people's success.
- 4:48Speaker 1: He's so lucky, lucky, Hey man, don't they kind of
- 4:51Speaker 1: get you a little bit when people call you lucky
- 4:54Speaker 1: when let me tell you what luck really is, y'all.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Luck is when hard work bumps up into tunity, when
- 5:01Speaker 1: hard work run smack dab up in the opportunity. Some
- 5:05Speaker 1: people call that luck. But hold on, let's Let's think
- 5:08Speaker 1: about this. If you wasn't working hard, an opportunity presented itself,
- 5:13Speaker 1: what would you call that? What you call that a
- 5:15Speaker 1: missed opportunity? What you call that wrong place at the
- 5:18Speaker 1: wrong time, or you missed out on that? But see
- 5:21Speaker 1: when you've been working hard and opportunity presents itself and
- 5:24Speaker 1: it bumps up into each other. Now people want to
- 5:26Speaker 1: call that luck. But hold up here, go to part
- 5:29Speaker 1: though today, ain't paying no attention to. Yeah, that opportunity
- 5:31Speaker 1: came by, But if you had not been working hard
- 5:34Speaker 1: and the hard work had not ran up in the opportunity,
- 5:36Speaker 1: what would you have? No, sir, it's not luck, it's work.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It is work because as a scripture that says faith
- 5:43Speaker 1: without works is dead. Look, I know I use the
- 5:47Speaker 1: same ones all all the time, but them the ones
- 5:49Speaker 1: I know. I mean what you want me to? You
- 5:51Speaker 1: want me lie to, You want me to come on
- 5:52Speaker 1: here and tell you man, I've been studying the Bible.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I haven't. I haven't. I haven't, I haven't. But my
- 5:58Speaker 1: mom was a Sunday school teacher taught me an enough
- 6:00Speaker 1: though now I know different between right and wrong, just
- 6:03Speaker 1: like you do. You ain't gotta you know it accused
- 6:06Speaker 1: me when people write a strawberry letter? Am I wrong
- 6:08Speaker 1: for this? You know? Good? Well, look at let's read
- 6:10Speaker 1: your letter. Are you wrong for this? You know you're wrong?
- 6:13Speaker 1: What you don't need that's to be telling, you know,
- 6:15Speaker 1: But I'm gonna do this anyway. Well, see, go ahead, though,
- 6:18Speaker 1: do what you wanna do. But you know what, y'all,
- 6:21Speaker 1: here's the best advice I can give you me. This
- 6:23Speaker 1: is what I really came to talk about this morning,
- 6:26Speaker 1: but I got sidetrack because I listened. You know what,
- 6:30Speaker 1: get get out of your own way. So many of
- 6:35Speaker 1: us are blocking our own blessings. We're just in our
- 6:38Speaker 1: own way. We are in our own way. And one
- 6:43Speaker 1: of the most dangerous ways you can get in your
- 6:45Speaker 1: way is to do it your way, to get it
- 6:49Speaker 1: figured your way, and to lock in on your way.
- 6:53Speaker 1: And it's the way it's got to go. Do you
- 6:55Speaker 1: know how many people are blocking their blessing? Do you
- 6:58Speaker 1: know how long I blocked mine? With that mindset right there?
- 7:02Speaker 1: This is how I wanted to happen, This is how
- 7:05Speaker 1: I wanted to go down. This is the way I'm
- 7:07Speaker 1: gonna go about it, And this this what's gonna happen,
- 7:10Speaker 1: lock loaded fire. So I was dead set on doing
- 7:15Speaker 1: it my way. Have you ever talked to people, man, Well,
- 7:18Speaker 1: it's just the way I do it. Look because this
- 7:21Speaker 1: the way you do it, you think that makes it
- 7:22Speaker 1: the right way. You think jazz, because you'd have thought
- 7:26Speaker 1: on it long and hard, and that's what you really want.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Do you really think that your way is the right
- 7:30Speaker 1: way or could there be a better way? See? Until
- 7:33Speaker 1: I started listening to God and started paying attention to
- 7:36Speaker 1: his way, man, I was spending my wheels. Man, I
- 7:40Speaker 1: was out here so determined this how I was gonna
- 7:43Speaker 1: do it. But you know I had to learn how
- 7:45Speaker 1: to get out of my own way because just because
- 7:47Speaker 1: I could do it my way didn't mean it was
- 7:50Speaker 1: the right way. I had to get out of my
- 7:53Speaker 1: own way. Just get out your way? Man, Now, what
- 7:59Speaker 1: what what does it mean? That means? See, set your goals,
- 8:05Speaker 1: That means have your dreams. That I'm I'm saying, set
- 8:10Speaker 1: your goals, man, I ain't saying. Don't say goals. Listen
- 8:12Speaker 1: to me. Set your goals. What is it you want
- 8:15Speaker 1: to happen? What is it you like to have, What
- 8:17Speaker 1: is it you like to be? What are you aspire
- 8:19Speaker 1: to set your goals and set your dreams. Now take
- 8:25Speaker 1: your goals and your dreams to God and ask God
- 8:30Speaker 1: to show you how. Man, you can save yourself a
- 8:33Speaker 1: lot of pain. Listen to somebody who did it his
- 8:37Speaker 1: way for so long. And when I finally got out
- 8:40Speaker 1: of my way, out of my own way. When you've
- 8:44Speaker 1: heard old people say, let go and let God. You
- 8:47Speaker 1: heard him say that I didn't. I didn't get it,
- 8:50Speaker 1: but I got it. Now let go and let God.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And it's amazing little saying. Though now you know you
- 8:56Speaker 1: may not get it now it It took me a
- 8:58Speaker 1: bunch of years to get it too. But when I
- 9:00Speaker 1: took my goals and my dreams and my vision to God,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and I said, God, this is what I hope for,
- 9:07Speaker 1: this is what I aspired to, This is what I
- 9:09Speaker 1: want to be, This is why I would love to
- 9:11Speaker 1: get to. Then I said, help me show me how.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Point me in the right direction, let me follow your footsteps,
- 9:19Speaker 1: guide me and give me a spirit of discernment. Show
- 9:23Speaker 1: me who wrong? Because I meet people every day. Ain't
- 9:25Speaker 1: up to no good with me? Every single day? Oh man, man,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I can't believe I run up in to you. Man,
- 9:32Speaker 1: the Lord told me something's gonna happen to me today. Well, see,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I talked to him every day. He did not mention
- 9:38Speaker 1: you to me. He ain't said nothing to me. He
- 9:41Speaker 1: didn't tell me what was gonna happen in mind. Now,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I don't mean it can't happen because I'm open to it.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But it amazes me when people come up to me. Man,
- 9:49Speaker 1: the Lord wanted me to tell you this. Hold on, Man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I talked to him every day, every day, some days
- 9:57Speaker 1: more than others. I ain't perfect. I missed sometimes, but
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm on a daily basis talking to him. So really, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I'm I'm and I and and and please no, I'm
- 10:08Speaker 1: listening as well as I've ever listened before. But but
- 10:11Speaker 1: get yourself together, though, see no, your goals and your dreams,
- 10:15Speaker 1: and then let God show you how to do it.
- 10:16Speaker 1: He'll do it. You know. It's so important everybody, that
- 10:20Speaker 1: you get focused, that you aim for something, that you
- 10:24Speaker 1: dream of something, that you aspire to something. But it's
- 10:27Speaker 1: the most the best thing you can do. After you
- 10:29Speaker 1: do all that, Man, get God involved in it. Man,
- 10:33Speaker 1: talk to him. I mean, why would you not what
- 10:35Speaker 1: you got to lose? You ain't gotta go down there
- 10:37Speaker 1: and make no big scene and and run laps around
- 10:40Speaker 1: the church and run up there and throw yourself on
- 10:42Speaker 1: the altar and scream and flip over and throw money
- 10:45Speaker 1: in there. You ain't got to do that. This you
- 10:47Speaker 1: and God, man, This you and God. You know you
- 10:50Speaker 1: got to serve and praise him the way you do it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You gotta let everybody else tell you hows done. It's
- 10:55Speaker 1: a personal relationship. People kill me if you don't do
- 10:58Speaker 1: it this way. If you don't come here to this church,
- 10:59Speaker 1: you don't run around in this circle and you don't
- 11:01Speaker 1: get flipped in, then you don't. Hey, man, you better
- 11:04Speaker 1: go have a relationship with God. See what that's about.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You understand? Nobody throw you off with all that? All right?
- 11:09Speaker 1: All right, y'all talk to him. He loves to hear
- 11:11Speaker 1: from you. Today. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 13:47Speaker 1: I used to work at Ford Motor Company. Then I
- 13:51Speaker 1: was doing Ford Motor Company sponsoritive events. All of that.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Life goes in full circles if you never give up.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Many have on back around. I ain't never worked for
- 14:02Speaker 1: a divorce court that's spent a lot of time. They're
- 14:04Speaker 1: damn it, no full circle for you. For they might

- 14:31Speaker 1: never gone to court and lost. M h. I can't
- 14:38Speaker 1: see that. But there's usually some evil person trying to
- 14:40Speaker 1: take me to court. All right, listen, another one right now.
- 14:44Speaker 1: He's been defined out like all the rest of them.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Coming up. What's something you wish you weren't too old
- 14:52Speaker 1: to do anymore? Okay, something funny coming up? At thirty

- 14:59Speaker 1: Steve The Morning Show. All right, I want to ask
- 15:02Speaker 1: the guys something. What is something you wish you weren't
- 15:05Speaker 1: too old to do anymore? Like, for instance, Carla, you
- 15:08Speaker 1: jumped in a bouncy castle with kids at a festival.
- 15:12Speaker 1: You did that? Yeah, uh oh, way too much. I'm
- 15:15Speaker 1: too old to be doing that. I was exhausted. Jane,
- 15:22Speaker 1: do a flip? Did you do a flip? I tried
- 15:25Speaker 1: knocking all yeah, yeah, all of that way too old.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So okay, Steve, we'll start with you. What what what
- 15:34Speaker 1: are you too old to do? But really wish you
- 15:37Speaker 1: weren't too old to do anymore? Of the wish I
- 15:40Speaker 1: could just stay in here, pee on myself being a baby,
- 15:46Speaker 1: and and then somebody change me. You know they got
- 15:53Speaker 1: people that do that, Steve professional. Yeah, oh yeah, I
- 16:00Speaker 1: don't want that, no mode, But you don't want care
- 16:05Speaker 1: home healthcare. But they'd be cussing when they do anything.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Oh well, yeah, that's that's a difference. Steve's not sick
- 16:12Speaker 1: or anything. Not what he want to do. No, I don't.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I don't. I don't a matter of fact, I don't
- 16:16Speaker 1: really won't have to happen. Yeah, you want to do over?
- 16:20Speaker 1: You want to do over for real? What would you really? Oh,
- 16:24Speaker 1: roller skate like your Why can't you do that? Because
- 16:31Speaker 1: your knees? Well, no, I can't fall. Nobody followed, none
- 16:37Speaker 1: of us. No, man, you fall, it's actually yeah it
- 16:46Speaker 1: is jay. When you fall, you could bounce up. You
- 16:52Speaker 1: could jump right up. Oh no different, Yeah, and there's
- 16:56Speaker 1: some noises that go with that fall. What about you?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Like right now? If you fall, you don't bounce up,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you lay steel your body got a reboot and just
- 17:10Speaker 1: start seeing what works. Yeah, take your time, start checking stuff.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Do we have a goal for legs? Check? Can I see?
- 17:28Speaker 1: That's the bigger And I think how long I've been
- 17:32Speaker 1: laying down? There? A good question right there? What about
- 17:38Speaker 1: You's something you might be too old to do now
- 17:41Speaker 1: that you wish you were. Steve took mine, but I
- 17:43Speaker 1: really wish I could, Like right, I can't. I cannot
- 17:46Speaker 1: ride a bike now. I'm scared of a fault. Like
- 17:48Speaker 1: Steve said, I would like to ride. Oh, I'm somebody
- 17:53Speaker 1: gonna hit me with a cord. And you know, I
- 17:55Speaker 1: just see it. I see bad stuff when I somebody
- 17:58Speaker 1: to me with a call. That to his point of
- 18:01Speaker 1: view for his life, some major got to happen to him.
- 18:08Speaker 1: We mean just a regular bike, not a motorcycle. J
- 18:12Speaker 1: I was you could go on a bike trail. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: back in the day, I really could roll escape, really
- 18:19Speaker 1: really good. I couldn't do it now, no, way can't.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You can't hit the knees. Knees. Don't want to break
- 18:28Speaker 1: anything that fall. Yeah, and you're trying to stop the fall.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You could break something. And it's way slower nowa babes,
- 18:36Speaker 1: if I get on some skates, it's really liked you
- 18:41Speaker 1: get yours. You think you're going around then at you
- 18:51Speaker 1: are not moving. No, you're not moving at all. It's
- 18:56Speaker 1: baby sticks. And in the guy behind you said, dude,
- 19:01Speaker 1: way that's the way I feel one to be on
- 19:05Speaker 1: the inside, sir, Yeah, what about you supposed to be
- 19:09Speaker 1: on the inside. What about your nephew threesome? I can't.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I wish I could steal a dude, You're too old
- 19:23Speaker 1: for that. I can't. What do you say, Jake, not
- 19:32Speaker 1: team Timmy? Now, what did you say? I said, I
- 19:39Speaker 1: thought you was gonna say run, but you didn't. Oh Pop, Yeah,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I was about to do it, but you need president
- 19:48Speaker 1: and CEO of Team Tommy said that, Oh we got
- 19:53Speaker 1: a meeting on him. Okay, so kating and shirt just
- 19:59Speaker 1: I can't. I can't do it no more fast. I
- 20:01Speaker 1: wish I could. Wow, I never could, Tommy, Yeah, you
- 20:08Speaker 1: had bad experience. How many times did you deal with that? Steve?
- 20:12Speaker 1: It was just one time, that one time, or he'd
- 20:15Speaker 1: try no more after that one time, and I knew
- 20:17Speaker 1: right away there's nothing for me. Get you my damn confusion,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and it's a lot of fun, confusion, fun for ten seconds,
- 20:25Speaker 1: kiss you for ten seconds? Will you three times? Will
- 20:28Speaker 1: you three times? Pat you five time? Pat you five times?
- 20:32Speaker 1: So you thought it had to be even yea. He
- 20:34Speaker 1: tried to distribute you. Ain't got to do that in
- 20:37Speaker 1: your outer I couldn't keep tracking the day playing. It
- 20:40Speaker 1: was staring your what in your eyes, staring your ass
- 20:43Speaker 1: for thirty seconds there same you was much better than mine,
- 20:56Speaker 1: miles like, ladies, I'm here, okay, lady, ladies, it's the

- 21:22Speaker 1: some neat and I'll be back up. Maybe I'll be done. Okay, Hello,
- 21:28Speaker 1: But Steve, how did yours end? I can't remember how
- 21:31Speaker 1: yours ended? Was everybody satisfied on when you left. No,
- 21:37Speaker 1: he don't know what ended was. One girl said, I
- 21:43Speaker 1: really don't think you're into me. I was so happy
- 21:50Speaker 1: she got up, man, coo, then I went to work. Yeah, right,
- 22:00Speaker 1: track one. Let's now all right, now you tell me
- 22:09Speaker 1: he's run that breakback. He's coming up right after this.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Many people across the country are
- 22:19Speaker 1: just still stunned and shocked and in awe about the
- 22:22Speaker 1: tragic news of this deadly mass shooting. It's you know,
- 22:27Speaker 1: I'm beating a dead horse here. I keep saying, gun control.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I keep saying, gun control, we keep saying in police brutality,
- 22:36Speaker 1: we keep saying, we keep saying. We just keep saying. Man. Yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 1: and I'm I'm I'm you know, I feel so horrible
- 22:46Speaker 1: for the families, for all the innocent people. Man. All right,
- 22:51Speaker 1: Uh well, coming up next, Miss Anna's here with our
- 22:54Speaker 1: national news and of course the latest information, and uh
- 22:58Speaker 1: we'll hear what she has to say, of course us.
- 23:00Speaker 1: And then of course, I mean, we know that things
- 23:02Speaker 1: happen in the world, but we're here to do our
- 23:04Speaker 1: job as well, and the show must go on. And
- 23:06Speaker 1: nephew Tommy is here with a prank phone call we're
- 23:10Speaker 1: gonna run it back eight and two. Okay, eight and two.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I'm a numbers guy eight and yeah. I'm hey, I'm
- 23:22Speaker 1: trying to get some aunsele Uh yeah, with it this Sam?
- 23:26Speaker 1: This Sam? Sam? Okay Sam? All right, yeah, okay, I
- 23:32Speaker 1: thought it was some mouse. Okay this this trail? Yeah, Sam? Man,
- 23:37Speaker 1: what's up? Okay? Uh my may Calf. I wanted to
- 23:42Speaker 1: reach out to your hole at you about about uh
- 23:47Speaker 1: your girl? Right? Your girlfriend? Yeah, yeah she is? Okay,
- 23:53Speaker 1: how long I've been to go? We've been together about
- 23:56Speaker 1: about ten years? While what's going on? Well, listen, me
- 24:01Speaker 1: and holiday at each other for like the last few
- 24:04Speaker 1: months or whatever. I wanted to reach out to you,
- 24:06Speaker 1: and you know, I don't want to call you. She
- 24:08Speaker 1: wanted me to call you. I wanted to tell you that,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you know, I didn't decide that she wanted to start
- 24:13Speaker 1: hanging with me, and she wants me to come up
- 24:15Speaker 1: with the house and pick her stuff up. Oh yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 1: oh yeah. Really, maybe that's what's going on you calling me?
- 24:22Speaker 1: She didn't told you to call me and tell me
- 24:26Speaker 1: basically what I wanted to feel saying and just have
- 24:29Speaker 1: a man and man tugh which and just let you know,
- 24:32Speaker 1: you you that that's that's what, that's what's going on
- 24:34Speaker 1: right now. Don't do it because right now you're just
- 24:36Speaker 1: talking a bunch of what's up? Now what I'm saying
- 24:39Speaker 1: any other that you know, I'm already making room for
- 24:41Speaker 1: her at my apartment. I'm just trying to come out.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Uh listen, that ain't none of these it's whatever. If
- 24:51Speaker 1: you want to come do, come do, but it ain't
- 24:54Speaker 1: going out when we ain't going out without a fight.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I'm not tripping. I'm not tripping with you, and I'm
- 25:00Speaker 1: not tricking with us. But you come to my house something.
- 25:03Speaker 1: By getting from my house, then it's going down me
- 25:07Speaker 1: and you, me and you. So what's up? You're coming
- 25:10Speaker 1: to get up because I'm on the road right now
- 25:13Speaker 1: in these shorts. But God meets you now. So if
- 25:16Speaker 1: you're coming and get us, come on me. Okay, okay,
- 25:19Speaker 1: hold up to hold on to let's back up and see.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm trying to her. Unless you know
- 25:23Speaker 1: where then when you gotta haven'd no problem I want
- 25:25Speaker 1: to do is come in the house and get her
- 25:26Speaker 1: stuff and pack it up so I can get it
- 25:29Speaker 1: over to me. You just think you're just gonna coming
- 25:31Speaker 1: to my house and I've been with I don't need you.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Is you think you're just gonna be We're just gonna
- 25:39Speaker 1: be peaches and cream? You got me? I'm telling you,
- 25:41Speaker 1: don't you come to my house. That's going down and
- 25:44Speaker 1: that's just dead. She needs to be a woman. Why
- 25:46Speaker 1: don't you bring it to me? Why she didn't bring
- 25:48Speaker 1: it to me? You know what I'm saying? What's fun? Whatsout?
- 25:51Speaker 1: What y'all want to be together? Now? On? She ain't
- 25:54Speaker 1: no more? All I know is she was feeling me.
- 25:57Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. She was feeling me. You know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: she telling me. I mean, dude, you held a problem
- 26:05Speaker 1: with her, leave because that's her choice. You know what
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm saying. If she claims she want to be with me,
- 26:09Speaker 1: that's what she won't. You know, I ain't knocking what
- 26:11Speaker 1: nobody do you understanding? But what I'm trying to tell you,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and she telling me she want to be with me.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So I'm just trying to get you to lift. Is
- 26:18Speaker 1: it better for me or her to go over there
- 26:19Speaker 1: while you ain't there and get our stuff? Do all this?
- 26:24Speaker 1: You saying? No, I don't. I ain't got the rational
- 26:27Speaker 1: lot thing with you. She needs to be the one
- 26:30Speaker 1: telling me all that is and saying she can't do it.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And you man, you man, you know that what you're
- 26:35Speaker 1: calling from? Man and man, come get that's Hey, Samantha,
- 26:40Speaker 1: Samantha for real. Hey hey man, Hey, hey, hey man,
- 26:43Speaker 1: my name is Sam. Man. I ain't gonna tell you
- 26:46Speaker 1: that already told you that when you call, when you
- 26:48Speaker 1: first call. Okay, Sam, so this okay, way you know what.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I ain't even gonna go back and forward to then
- 26:54Speaker 1: chows me. I'm gonna come get her. Hey, all this
- 26:59Speaker 1: you talking? You still on this phone with all that
- 27:01Speaker 1: y'all jacking. If you're gonna come get up, I didn't
- 27:05Speaker 1: invited you. So if you want to bring your over,
- 27:08Speaker 1: you come get it to Maiden too old. I've wanted
- 27:12Speaker 1: a two of them. Yeah, but I'll tell you this
- 27:15Speaker 1: isn't much to it them. Let them them too down.
- 27:17Speaker 1: They don't want to me no more. They don't want
- 27:19Speaker 1: to rock with me no more. Drop And like I said,
- 27:22Speaker 1: telling coming with you, she ought to be a woman
- 27:24Speaker 1: to know when she's behind the back in the background
- 27:27Speaker 1: telling you to come tell me from me. Think that's
- 27:30Speaker 1: the man I'm gonna and you come because you're acting
- 27:33Speaker 1: like Gona too. I'm gonna flap. So what's on? Okay,
- 27:36Speaker 1: well look here, let me go. Don't say this to
- 27:38Speaker 1: you then? Can I can? I tell you what she
- 27:40Speaker 1: told me? Man? You tell me you want to tell
- 27:43Speaker 1: me really what she told you? But what what's up?
- 27:46Speaker 1: I just want to tell you she told me to
- 27:48Speaker 1: pring phone call you. This is Nephew comas Steve Harvey
- 27:52Speaker 1: Morning Show. Ah, I'm straight manill man, getting ready. I
- 28:14Speaker 1: gotta hear you say one more thing? What is the
- 28:16Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the
- 28:19Speaker 1: land Steve har showIn they ever have an Oscar for
- 28:27Speaker 1: the greatest prankster if it's a movie. That's what they
- 28:34Speaker 1: give oscars for movies. I got actually actually right now,
- 28:41Speaker 1: j is punching. I got the pranks working on it
- 28:44Speaker 1: right now, working on the answer to your question is
- 28:49Speaker 1: still know you don't think you can win an oscar
- 28:54Speaker 1: for a prank movie. I'm not saying that. Yeah, comedies, comedies,
- 29:00Speaker 1: verybody you know damn oscar for that. You don't even
- 29:02Speaker 1: have a prank movie working on it? Douch a prank movie.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It's y'all listening. Yeah, I got a prank movie. J
- 29:18Speaker 1: What I'm saying, you're missing what I'm saying. The movie
- 29:22Speaker 1: doesn't exist as of yet. It's what I'm saying to you.
- 29:26Speaker 1: It ain't done yet, That's all I'm saying. I'm not
- 29:28Speaker 1: saying you don't have a good idea. I'm not saying
- 29:31Speaker 1: that there won't ever be a prank movie. But we've
- 29:34Speaker 1: had Jackass one, Jackass two, We've had Jackass Grandpa. They're
- 29:41Speaker 1: not even up for consideration, well, very rarely our comedies,
- 29:47Speaker 1: you know, considered for for Oscars very having had his
- 29:51Speaker 1: Black Jackass. But take the jack out once. Once we're
- 30:01Speaker 1: hitting with Black Jackass, it's all over. Can come to Oscars.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I can smell it. Okay, you have some dates Tommy
- 30:13Speaker 1: or something, Yeah, let me just put them on nothing.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I'm doing it gonna work, you know nothing. I didn't
- 30:22Speaker 1: say it won't work. Why don't we make the movie
- 30:26Speaker 1: and just make a lot of money? Coming up at
- 30:35Speaker 1: the top of the hour, guys, we gotta get a
- 30:37Speaker 1: little serious here. Miss Anna's here with our national news
- 30:41Speaker 1: and of course the latest of this deadly mass shooting,
- 30:44Speaker 1: and uh, we'll hear what she has to say, of course,
- 30:47Speaker 1: and then the officer who shot and killed Antoine Rose
- 30:51Speaker 1: is charged. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 30:55Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Shows. To Pittsburgh police officer
- 31:01Speaker 1: Michael rose Field UH shot and killed Antoine Rose and
- 31:06Speaker 1: unarmed black teen, and now he's been charged with criminal homicide.
- 31:10Speaker 1: To review, Rose was riding in a car that had
- 31:12Speaker 1: been pulled over because the East Pittsburgh Police suspected it
- 31:17Speaker 1: had been used in an earlier shooting. New details revealed
- 31:20Speaker 1: that officer ross Field UH made inconsistent statements on whether
- 31:25Speaker 1: he thought Rose had a weapon before he shot and
- 31:27Speaker 1: killed the seventeen year old. District Attorney Uh. There Steve's
- 31:31Speaker 1: apollo said ross Belt's actions were recklessly and without justification
- 31:38Speaker 1: UH and the evidence supports charges of manslaughter and third
- 31:42Speaker 1: degree murder. The d a's office also has a right
- 31:45Speaker 1: to argue murder in the first which the state could,
- 31:49Speaker 1: which the state Code classifies as an intentional killing. Additionally,
- 31:54Speaker 1: the officer was not acting to prevent death or serious
- 31:57Speaker 1: bodily injury. Ross felt. His bail was set at two
- 32:01Speaker 1: d and fifty thousand dollars and a preliminary hearing is
- 32:03Speaker 1: scheduled for July six. Wow, that's next week. Well so
- 32:09Speaker 1: he was charged charged. Yeah, man, that's good. Something something
- 32:15Speaker 1: has to happen. Two police officers who illegally shoot and
- 32:23Speaker 1: kill people. There is no legal justification for the vast
- 32:29Speaker 1: majority of murders of these people in this in this country,
- 32:35Speaker 1: there is no justification. You can't justify choking that man
- 32:39Speaker 1: out with them cigars. You just can't justify the Castille
- 32:43Speaker 1: murder when he was shot in the car. The girl recorded.
- 32:47Speaker 1: You cannot justify the man in North Carolina who was
- 32:51Speaker 1: running away from the police and shot eight times. You
- 32:57Speaker 1: cannot justify any of these man. It's illegal to do
- 33:03Speaker 1: that to another human being. And until someone pays, they
- 33:07Speaker 1: will continue. I don't care. If you are police officers,
- 33:11Speaker 1: you have got to be trained, and if you don't
- 33:15Speaker 1: follow training and protocol, that's your problem. But here's another thing.
- 33:20Speaker 1: The police need to start giving us a copy. You know,
- 33:23Speaker 1: a police officers do work with the community, Give a
- 33:26Speaker 1: community a copy of their procedure laws. Because every time
- 33:32Speaker 1: some black kid gets shot, I hear about a procedure
- 33:37Speaker 1: that the police officers were following, and I'm trying to
- 33:41Speaker 1: figure out what procedure allows you to shoot this innocent
- 33:45Speaker 1: person because the procedure keep getting put in. Any time
- 33:50Speaker 1: somebody getting shot, how many dam procedures they got? So
- 33:53Speaker 1: what has turned out so far is that any time
- 33:57Speaker 1: you kill an African American man, it's within procedure. Show
- 34:02Speaker 1: me these procedures, man, Where has this on paper that
- 34:06Speaker 1: you can shoot a man, that you can choke a
- 34:08Speaker 1: man out for for selling cigarettes, That you can shoot
- 34:12Speaker 1: a man in the back for running away even if
- 34:16Speaker 1: a person stole a car, that's not a murderable offense. No,
- 34:24Speaker 1: Michael Brown walking towards you with hands up, this man
- 34:28Speaker 1: is dead. What procedure was? He followed Trayvon Martin. We
- 34:33Speaker 1: need a copy of all police procedures because I'm telling you, man,
- 34:37Speaker 1: they're making them up as we go. Yeah, that's really
- 34:42Speaker 1: how I feel about it. That just feels to me
- 34:45Speaker 1: like they're making these procedures up to forget to to
- 34:48Speaker 1: to to to coincide with the circumstances. And we're tired
- 34:53Speaker 1: of him, man, We just damn tired of We hope
- 34:56Speaker 1: this police officer and get plenty damn tap and the
- 34:58Speaker 1: message go across the we gotta stop defending this stuff. Right.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Here's too many good police officers out here that's doing
- 35:04Speaker 1: the right thing. We gotta keep paying the price with
- 35:06Speaker 1: the butt holes with these guns. All right, Steve, uh, please,
- 35:12Speaker 1: let's introduce mss and she's here with her headline right now.
- 35:16Speaker 1: We've got a special report on all of this from
- 35:18Speaker 1: miss Anne. Thanks Steve, Thanks everybody. This is entered with
- 35:22Speaker 1: the news. Okay. Authority say that the shooting yesterday at
- 35:25Speaker 1: the Maryland newspaper that left five people dead and two
- 35:28Speaker 1: others wounded was a targeted and not random attack on
- 35:31Speaker 1: the Capitol Gazette. Acting police she Phil Crump says a
- 35:34Speaker 1: suspected gunman is thirty eight year old Jarrett Warren a Ramos,
- 35:38Speaker 1: who had soothed the paper apparently over defamation and lost.
- 35:41Speaker 1: The paper did a story on him cyber stalking a
- 35:44Speaker 1: young woman and he took offense to that and say say,
- 35:47Speaker 1: started writing threatening messages and stuff to the newspaper for
- 35:51Speaker 1: talking about his story and his cyber stalking of this woman. Again.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Thirty eight year old Jared Warren Ramos, police say, stormed
- 35:58Speaker 1: the tabloid's office armed with a shotgun and carrying smoke grenades,
- 36:02Speaker 1: and he's being reigned on murder charges late today. Even
- 36:05Speaker 1: the people that he shot were not exactly targeted because
- 36:08Speaker 1: they were not exactly the people they wrote the story.
- 36:10Speaker 1: One was a sportswriter, one was an entertainment editor. Apparently
- 36:14Speaker 1: they weren't even the people that wrote the story. But again,
- 36:16Speaker 1: just to reiterate, the man who left five people dead
- 36:19Speaker 1: and two others wounded in the Maryland newspaper yesterday is
- 36:22Speaker 1: identified well, so it's thus he's a suspect at this point,
- 36:25Speaker 1: but it's identified at thirty eight year old Jared warn Ramos,
- 36:28Speaker 1: who they say had southed a paper of a defamation
- 36:31Speaker 1: and lost white San Francisco woman who called police on
- 36:34Speaker 1: an eight year old little black girl who was selling
- 36:36Speaker 1: water outside her apartment building to earn money to go
- 36:38Speaker 1: to Disney World. That woman is now announced that she's
- 36:40Speaker 1: stepping down the CEO of her marijuana products company. As
- 36:43Speaker 1: she sells marijuana products, it's business decision. It seemed as
- 36:46Speaker 1: several Bay Area dispensaries are refusing to do business with her,
- 36:49Speaker 1: country with her company. Eileen Edel's companies called treat Well
- 36:52Speaker 1: Health and after the video surfaced of her calling the
- 36:54Speaker 1: police on the child, UH went viron that to want her,
- 36:58Speaker 1: the Monica Permit, Patty, and the gett you need. A
- 37:00Speaker 1: lot of these other um companies say we're not going
- 37:02Speaker 1: to do business with her. Meanwhile, the owner of the
- 37:04Speaker 1: restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky, who asked the White House spokeswoman
- 37:07Speaker 1: Sarah Huckaby Sanders to leave, says she's resigning from a
- 37:11Speaker 1: local business group. Stephanie Wilkinson owns the Red Star Red Hand.
- 37:15Speaker 1: It's a five star restaurant. She says she's received death
- 37:18Speaker 1: threats and bomb threats from Trump supporters. She's pulling out
- 37:20Speaker 1: of that group. Starting tomorrow, the Federal Emergency Agency of
- 37:24Speaker 1: FEMA will no longer pay shelter to shelter Puerto Rican
- 37:27Speaker 1: evacuees here in the main land. All Toys are US

- 38:35Speaker 1: thousand sixteen NBA Championship ring from his time with the
- 38:39Speaker 1: Cleveland Cavaliers, but in a hilarious Snapchat post, Jefferson said,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I decided to end my friendship with Lebron James. Truth
- 38:48Speaker 1: be told, I never liked the guy. He works too
- 38:51Speaker 1: hard it makes the rest of us look bad. He's
- 38:53Speaker 1: my son's favorite player, and I view that as a
- 38:55Speaker 1: complete betrayal of how hard I've worked to put a
- 38:58Speaker 1: roof over his head your yea. Jefferson and his family
- 39:04Speaker 1: lives in the Los Angeles area. Also Lebron's friends and
- 39:07Speaker 1: his boys are on social media stating it's going to
- 39:10Speaker 1: be hard to stay up on the West Coast to
- 39:12Speaker 1: watch the games being that they are used to the
- 39:15Speaker 1: East coast time zones. So there you go. Pretty funny.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Listen to me. I had a very interesting conversation yesterday
- 39:29Speaker 1: on the golf course. I mean with Jason kid really
- 39:37Speaker 1: kid out on the golf course. You play golfing point,
- 39:42Speaker 1: he said he doesn't think Lebron is coming to l A.
- 39:47Speaker 1: He thinks Lebron is gonna stay in Cleveland one more
- 39:50Speaker 1: year so he can opt out, I said. He said,
- 39:56Speaker 1: Magic sounded like he tipped his hand bit when Magic
- 40:01Speaker 1: Johnson said the other day, you can't judge me by
- 40:05Speaker 1: one summer. Summers and if I don't turn this around,
- 40:10Speaker 1: I'll walk away from the job. But you can't judge
- 40:13Speaker 1: me on one summer. I hope become because I got
- 40:18Speaker 1: a song about it so that I'd make me really good.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Like you can't write another little No one and done, Jay,
- 40:38Speaker 1: I can't damn it. That hurt. But what if you
- 40:42Speaker 1: covering on the Lakers team right now is a Kevin
- 40:44Speaker 1: Love Paul George came, It's he'll only had that one
- 40:49Speaker 1: more guy. What if you get are not enough to
- 40:52Speaker 1: be Golden State or Houston. It's just not What if
- 40:56Speaker 1: you get Paul And if you get Paul George and Lennark,
- 41:02Speaker 1: that's that's that's pretty good right there is not trading
- 41:07Speaker 1: o Kauai to the Lakers. Have to have to see
- 41:11Speaker 1: him four times. He'll be in the East. No, they're
- 41:16Speaker 1: trade him to the East, but they will not trade
- 41:18Speaker 1: him to the West. And Kauai has to be traded.
- 41:22Speaker 1: He can't just walk now, all right, Steve, We got
- 41:25Speaker 1: to get to the headlines. And they don't have no
- 41:28Speaker 1: pieces for Kauai, and Lakers and Legas can't give up
- 41:31Speaker 1: in young boys and get Kauai. You want to hear
- 41:33Speaker 1: something real stupid, they say, and you bet you Why

- 56:48Speaker 1: because that was up and hold on here it is
- 56:54Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter subject. She won't get in my bed Here,
- 57:00Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I have been dating a beautiful woman for
- 57:03Speaker 1: about five months. Everything is great, she's special and she
- 57:08Speaker 1: does a lot for me. Here's a problem. We run
- 57:11Speaker 1: into a big issue. Whenever we discussed her sleeping over
- 57:14Speaker 1: at my house. She asked me how many sexual partners
- 57:17Speaker 1: have I had, and undoubtedly there have been quite a few.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Then she asked me how many women have been in
- 57:24Speaker 1: my bed. That was a tough question to answer. Undoubtedly
- 57:28Speaker 1: there have been quite a few. She got very upset
- 57:32Speaker 1: and demanded that I buy a whole new bed because
- 57:34Speaker 1: she doesn't want to sleep in a bed that another
- 57:37Speaker 1: woman has been in. I bought that bed and mattress
- 57:40Speaker 1: a few years ago, and it is a very nice,
- 57:43Speaker 1: king sized bed that I spent over a thousand dollars on.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Should I spend more of my money to buy another bed?
- 57:49Speaker 1: Should I go ahead and buy another car while I'm
- 57:52Speaker 1: at it because other women have been in my car?
- 57:55Speaker 1: If so, she should have to buy a new underwear
- 57:57Speaker 1: because other men may have seen her in it. This
- 58:00Speaker 1: is crazy, and I hope we don't break up because
- 58:03Speaker 1: of this. Am I wrong? Please help? I don't think
- 58:05Speaker 1: you're wrong at all. I think you're right. This is crazy.
- 58:09Speaker 1: But you really surprised me on this one by answering
- 58:12Speaker 1: her how many women have you have been have you
- 58:14Speaker 1: been with or have been in your bed? Question? Why?
- 58:17Speaker 1: Why did you answer that? I mean, everyone has a past,
- 58:20Speaker 1: and you should have kept that in the past. It
- 58:22Speaker 1: serves no purpose here and it's really none of her business.
- 58:25Speaker 1: I mean, what difference does it make? Uh? You know,
- 58:29Speaker 1: was the bed clean? Those are my answer, Those are
- 58:32Speaker 1: my questions I have for you. You change the sheets
- 58:34Speaker 1: and everything right? Didn't look fresh and clean in there?
- 58:38Speaker 1: After only five months? She wants you to throw your
- 58:41Speaker 1: bed out and get a new one. I mean, I
- 58:44Speaker 1: could see if you guys were together for a long
- 58:46Speaker 1: time and like planning on getting married and stuff, then
- 58:49Speaker 1: you might invest in a new bed and some new
- 58:51Speaker 1: furniture while you're at it, you know, to start your
- 58:53Speaker 1: new life with her. Um until then, until you know,
- 58:58Speaker 1: either she sleeps in your bed, the one you have,
- 59:01Speaker 1: you know, as long as it's clean and everything, or
- 59:03Speaker 1: you go over to her house and sleep in her bed.
- 59:06Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Um Shirley, I happen to disagree with
- 59:15Speaker 1: you on this, and I'll tell you why. He says.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Is he wrong for this? He did wrong? He did
- 59:24Speaker 1: wrong because, dude, you bought this on yourself. Damn dog.
- 59:32Speaker 1: You've been dating this girl five months. She's special to you,
- 59:36Speaker 1: see you said it. She's special to you. So now
- 59:39Speaker 1: if she's special to you, then you gotta expect to
- 59:43Speaker 1: treat her special. So here's how you treat her special.
- 59:49Speaker 1: First of all, when she came to you and said
- 59:52Speaker 1: how many women have you had before? That? Boy, boy,
- 59:58Speaker 1: this ain't the time for you to come talk about
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: your conquering skills and how many women you didn't really had.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Then she asked you how many women have been in
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: this bed, and you said, well, quite naturally, quite a few.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: For what your stupid ass say that? Faulk, You're dumb dog.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Listen to me. Y'all got to start learning how this
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: game go. Let me teach you a couple of things.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: First of all, ladies, if a man asked you how
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: many men you've been with? Whatever, I told you all.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Your maximum number is three? Right? Three? Three is your
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: maximum numbers? Lady. I don't give a damn if you
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: was a hooker in the eighties, is your damn limit? Three?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: That's your number. I don't give a damn what you did.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: That's your number. Guys, your maximum number can never exceed five.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I know that's not true, but shut your damn mouth.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: How many women been over here? Not very many, man.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I've always been very selective in my process, so I've
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: always carefully picked women who've been in this bed. Nobody
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: but you now, I haven't done some things on that
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: flow downstairs in the hallway, and I've done some things
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: in their garage. It ain't nobody been one man what
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I'm lying. But you gotta know when the lie. You
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: know about this kings Eyes bed for a thousand dollars
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: three years ago. Now she don't want to come in
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: this bed all these other women because you did not.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: You're not not this woman who's special to you. You're
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: not telling her she ain't special, Nobo, because everybody hadn't
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: been up here. You bought this on yourself. So do
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: you have to go get another bed? Yeah? Now you
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: can do a try a couple options. You can flip
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: the mattress and say nobody been on this side. You
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: could try that. And these is all new sheets. You
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: could try that. You could you could eat if your
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: headboard is would you could stay in the new color.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: If it's a fabric, you can get it covered. So
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you're saying he should buy a whole new bed. I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: think he's gonna have to, Shelly, because he bought this
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: on his self and it's just a damn bed. But
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you ain't got to buy another bed. You could just
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: our frame, get a full time. You gotta do something.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: It's got a little different. But you're gonna lose this
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: girl right here. And then you stupid and say, what,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I gotta buy another car now because a lot of
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: women been in the car. Why you keep wanting to
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: talk about these lot of women, your dumbain's stupid ass, dude, damn,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: always trying to show what we got. Now you got
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: yourself in the quandary here because this girl who you
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: say is special, now she want to be special to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: you and she don't want to fall in line. Now
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you got to do something about that. Now you ain't
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: got to get a new car. But how you go?
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Why you gotta tell her how many been in there?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: You're stupid and you to wrote to the letter and
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: it's on national radio show. You're dumb. You need to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: buy a new car. Big, Yeah, you clothed everything you need.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: You just do now, you his dumb ass. Do she
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: need to buy some new underwear because me and didn't
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: seen that? You don't, boy? All right, we gotta go, Steve.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up a

- 1:04:20Speaker 1: dude to told this woman who we think is special,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: how many women have been in his bed? Now she
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: don't want to sleep in the bed. Okay, cool, So
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: now you gotta fix this. I think you do have
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: to get another bed or at least a new frame
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: and head board. Probably can keep the mattress, but you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: got have to flip it. That's the mattress to slip
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: the mat or you could just all you could just

- 1:19:46Speaker 1: But it turns out, yeah, but it turns out that
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: all those positive effects of a few days without work,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: they don't actually last long. Okay, Unfortunately, for quite a
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: few people, those positive effects are fleeting. In fact, the
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: poll finds that of workers say the positive effects disappear
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: as soon as they return to work vacation right exactly,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: while say they only last a few days. Now. Of course,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: not everyone returns from vacation relaxed and rejuvenated, because people
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: tend to work on vacation more than they planned. So, Steve,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: I got to ask you. Would you say you return
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: to work after vacation with a better attitude? Are you

- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I don't. That's not true. You're not ready to come back.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: You just have to vacation, vacation permanently in a heartbeat.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Oh well, yeah, wouldn't. Yeah, but do you have a
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: hard time relaxing, you know, coming down when you first
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: get on vacation. I know, I do. It takes me minute,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: do you miss us? Never? Yeah, it takes me four
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: days to disconnect to get into to really get it.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: It used to take me a week, but now I've
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: gotten better at it's only gonna take me two days
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: this year because I've already started leaving him. Yeah, you're gone,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: You're not even here right now, you're going right, already
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: just left. You're on vacation, so you'll be relaxing no time.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: As soon as I get there. Where are you going
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: this year? Same place I go every year? Show? Gonna
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: go see some of the things. We have friends in
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: places now that live there, and we come oh really okay,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: rich friends always like friends. Yeah, that's they flocked together. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you know my friends at the mall in the food court.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: I love when he had a Rose Royce, but he
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: didn't have a Rose Roys life style. If you see
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: roy parked in front of the stove and not at

- 1:34:23Speaker 1: and Jay, you wanted to say happy birthday to a

- 1:34:30Speaker 1: six today. That's your girlfriend? Who is that? Jay? Who
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: is related? Happy birthday to Sandra Charleston eighty three today.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: Now that's great. We're happy about that. Tommy kind of
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: old boy, Tommy, Tommy focus half of that almost anthony
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: and slowing. I know how to handle a book fifty
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: one and slowing. I don't do age jokes on this show. Steve,
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: let me know when you're ready. I'm ready. All right,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: here we go. Steve's closing remarks, Well, you know, just
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: something for people to think about a lot of times,
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: especially single moms. But I think this is for everybody.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: But I want single moms to think about this too,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: especially because all of us at times that are parental
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: business owners or leaders or whatever we are head or family, however,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: we pour so much into others that we oftentimes forget
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: about selves, and you're doing a disservice to yourself. Not
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: always snaps great for everybody else that you are so
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: giving and understanding and sharing and caring and all encompassing
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: and nurturing of all these people in your life. But soon,
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: and very soon, you will find that you will need
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: the same thing that you just keep giving to everybody else.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: And you gotta look up, and you're gonna realize that
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: you are the far and away most giving person. That
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: you are, the far and aways the most sharing person,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: the most understanding, the one that's always trying to make
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: something convenient for others. And then when it's your turn,
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: when it's your time to get that same thing, some
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: of these people you you you don't know where to
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: get it from. It's almost like you keep providing relief
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: for so many others, but there's none for you. So
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: what I'm talking to you about this today is simple. Everybody,
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: I'm not telling you to be lazy. I'm not telling
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: you to stop working. I'm not. I'm telling you everybody
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: has got to have some me time. Everybody has got
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: to do something that's just for you. It's the only
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: way that you can recharge the battery that's being drained
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: so drastically by all the people that you've been giving caring, sharing,
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: and nurtury. If you don't stop for you every now
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: and then to charge of your battery, these other people
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: unknowingly will drain you until the battery is dead. You
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: can't leave the lights on in your car all night
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: long and go outside and expect the car to thought.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: That's a battery. We are just like batteries. You can't
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: lead the lights on all the time and keep expecting
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: that car to keep starting. You gotta turn them lights off.
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: Sometimes you got to pull up to the gas station. Sometimes.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: Sometimes you have to take that car in for just
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: a tune up. Sometime that car got to go in
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: for repairs. But at one point in time, if you
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: keep running that car, you gotta do something for the car.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: You can't just be the transportation to all the games,
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: all the events and never stop time and take yourself somewhere.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but guess what. Those people will be fine
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: if you go away for two days. Those people will
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: be fine if you take a day off. Well, don't
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: look like you're going to your little event today, son,
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: because you know why, because mom, I'm gonna take a
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: break today, or you know what, I'm not cooking today.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: Y'all go in there and find yourself something to eat.
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: They ain't gonna sit there. Install take some time out
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: for yourself to recharge your battery before you mess around,
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: and you no good to anybody, to them all yourself
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: and what I'm saying to you is not a selfish
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: closing remark. It's a closing remark that people need to
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: hear from time to time. And you know where I'm
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: talking to right now, I'm talking to myself, because man,
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: I just keep giving and giving and giving and giving
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: and given. I just need some time for me every
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: now and then, some me time. My wife and I
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: were having a discussion about this the other day. She says, Steve,
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: I get it. You're absolutely right. I get it. All
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: of you. You need some time to yourself. Everybody has
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: to do it. I don't care how many people counting
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: on you. I don't care how many people need you.
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: They're not gonna be able to count on you. If
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: you drain the battley. You have got to give yourself sometime.
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: Doesn't make you wrong, doesn't make you selfish. As a
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: matter of fact, Really, if you look at it, those
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: people that Dad's not saying, Hey, you know what, you
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: need some time off of Hey you should just chill
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: the day. Hey, I got it. I'm cooking today. Hey mom,
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna just get uber to this event today. Hey,
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: look I'm gonna take a break. Mom, wa don't you
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: take it easy, dad, Why don't you take it easy?
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: They're just chill man. I got it. I'll go out here.
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: I get myself over here. They don't say that, they don't.
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: They don't even know how. They just keep wanting take
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: some time out for yourself, recharge your battley. Everybody will appreciate.
