- 0:04Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know. Y'all all
- 0:10Speaker 1: suit on the back down, giving them more like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: milking buck bus things and the cubs. Me good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve listening to movie together for stum Please, Mommy, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join by join me to be doing me. Honey.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta u turn, you gotta turn turn turn, you
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back, I shall well. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me
- 2:06Speaker 1: now one and ald it. Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:09Speaker 1: show particular me this morning. Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:16Speaker 1: show feel with nothing but joy and hope about it too.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You know, it's a great thing to be able to
- 2:23Speaker 1: wake up in the morning with peace in your heart
- 2:25Speaker 1: and joy. Peace and joy is is immeasurable. It has
- 2:31Speaker 1: a value attached to it, and I have no idea
- 2:33Speaker 1: what it is. It's invaluable. It is worth so much
- 2:37Speaker 1: more than any amount of money you can make. Peace
- 2:40Speaker 1: and joy. I have not always had that. I have
- 2:46Speaker 1: not always been a peaceful person or a person who
- 2:50Speaker 1: lived his life in a joy spirit. It took an
- 2:54Speaker 1: arrival at this moment some people arrive sooner than others.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I wish I had arrived at this point sooner, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I think it was necessary for me to learn a
- 3:06Speaker 1: few things too. That's the amazing thing I've learned about
- 3:10Speaker 1: life is that instead of reflecting on your past incidences
- 3:17Speaker 1: and calling them failures, instead of focusing on the negative
- 3:21Speaker 1: and calling them bad times, I look at them now
- 3:26Speaker 1: as experiences. I had to have those experiences that were negative,
- 3:32Speaker 1: that were good, positive, wrong, even I had to have
- 3:36Speaker 1: all those experiences to become, to shape who we are today.
- 3:44Speaker 1: We all have to have them. If you look back
- 3:46Speaker 1: at all the negative experiences you've had, all the things
- 3:50Speaker 1: that you called failures, all the businesses I started that
- 3:55Speaker 1: went under, all of the jobs I had that I
- 3:57Speaker 1: was fired from, all the shows that were canceled, all
- 4:01Speaker 1: of the times I thought I was gonna get something
- 4:05Speaker 1: happened in my way and turned out I didn't get
- 4:07Speaker 1: it at all. When you look at all of it,
- 4:09Speaker 1: all of it, hopefully along the way, what you have
- 4:13Speaker 1: done as a person is you've taken those negatives and
- 4:17Speaker 1: those failures and you've used them for what they actually are.
- 4:21Speaker 1: They are experiences, and they've now created in you an
- 4:26Speaker 1: experienced person and you know that is worth something. That's
- 4:33Speaker 1: then it becomes a positive. But what too many people
- 4:37Speaker 1: do is they let the negative things that have happened
- 4:40Speaker 1: in their life. They allow the failures that have happened
- 4:43Speaker 1: in them lives never to manifest themselves as experiences. And
- 4:47Speaker 1: you sit up there and you dwell on it, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: you dwell on it until you have this woe is
- 4:52Speaker 1: me attitude. Stop looking at it like that, y'all. You
- 4:57Speaker 1: go through things in order to become the person that
- 5:00Speaker 1: you are today. I'll tell you who you sometimes have
- 5:03Speaker 1: to sit down and talk to. Sometimes you are to
- 5:05Speaker 1: sit down to an inmate that really gets it, an
- 5:08Speaker 1: inmate that says, man, I've actually heard inmates say it
- 5:12Speaker 1: to me and write to me, and they've said things like, man,
- 5:16Speaker 1: coming to prison, save my life. Now, those of you
- 5:19Speaker 1: have never gone, how can he say a thing like that?
- 5:22Speaker 1: But some men, no, Man, I was so far out
- 5:25Speaker 1: there that if I'd stayed out there, I wouldn't even
- 5:28Speaker 1: be here today. This actually allowed me to stop and
- 5:31Speaker 1: spend some time with myself and learn some things about me.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Now does that happen for everybody like that? Now? But
- 5:37Speaker 1: here's a person who was taking an experience that could
- 5:41Speaker 1: be considered a failure or a negative and turning it
- 5:43Speaker 1: into a positive and using it to enrich their lives.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You can do it no matter what your set of
- 5:49Speaker 1: circumstances is. I recommend to everybody that you try changing
- 5:53Speaker 1: your outlook in order to change your outcome. Everything that
- 5:57Speaker 1: happens to you that's negative or you consider failure their experiences.
- 6:01Speaker 1: You've got to go through these things in order to
- 6:03Speaker 1: have the knowledge that you have today. So I wish
- 6:07Speaker 1: that I had come to this arrival, that I may
- 6:09Speaker 1: now this place of peace and joy. But then guess what,
- 6:13Speaker 1: I would not know what I know. I could not
- 6:16Speaker 1: share some of the things that I'm able to share
- 6:18Speaker 1: if I had not gone through some of them. And
- 6:21Speaker 1: sometimes that's the purpose of them, is to teach you
- 6:23Speaker 1: a lesson because you know, God has a plan for you,
- 6:26Speaker 1: He really really does, and eventually he can use you
- 6:30Speaker 1: no matter how old you are, and he can use
- 6:32Speaker 1: you no matter how young you are. If you just say, Okay,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'm ready to hear your plan. I've tried mine, mine
- 6:39Speaker 1: ain't worked out. What's your plan for me? God, what
- 6:42Speaker 1: do you want me to do? That's why I say
- 6:45Speaker 1: every day Steve already got radio show, y'all, Because man,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I ain't see it coming. I didn't see that coming.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I ain't see this book coming. I ain't seen I
- 6:53Speaker 1: ain't seen it. Half of the amazing things that are
- 6:55Speaker 1: happened to me, I didn't plan them. I was sitting
- 6:59Speaker 1: there mansking God for some direction. And then I got
- 7:03Speaker 1: smart enough to stay watchful, be a hard worker now
- 7:06Speaker 1: because faithful, our works is dead, and it came. And
- 7:09Speaker 1: I remind you of this. God has given all of
- 7:12Speaker 1: you a gift. Every last one of you listening has
- 7:15Speaker 1: a gift. God has never created a soul that he
- 7:18Speaker 1: did not provide a gift to. God gives everyone a gift,
- 7:22Speaker 1: and a gift is not just singing, rapping entertainment. The
- 7:27Speaker 1: richer gifts are much more than that. Teachers are gifted
- 7:30Speaker 1: people who really have the gift of sharing information. That's
- 7:34Speaker 1: a gift, you know, and in that you can become great.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You know a lot of people people think that successful
- 7:45Speaker 1: and greatness is the same thing. Cornell West said it
- 7:48Speaker 1: at my daughter's graduation. He was a spokesperson. He said
- 7:51Speaker 1: something so pointed. He said, don't ever confuse success with greatness.
- 7:56Speaker 1: The two have nothing to do with each other. See
- 7:59Speaker 1: people determined success about money and fame and all this here,
- 8:03Speaker 1: but greatness. Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's
- 8:09Speaker 1: how you conduct your life. It's how meaningful and significant
- 8:13Speaker 1: you become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:17Speaker 1: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:20Speaker 1: little girls lives that you change, that that little center
- 8:23Speaker 1: in the hood. Who are you just one place of
- 8:25Speaker 1: hope to so many people and they come back. And
- 8:28Speaker 1: I used the example of lou Danzler who passed away
- 8:31Speaker 1: in LA who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club
- 8:34Speaker 1: out in LA. And he wasn't a rich man at all.
- 8:37Speaker 1: If you walk by him, you wouldn't even know who
- 8:39Speaker 1: he was. But if you look at all the people
- 8:41Speaker 1: who have gone on to become politicians, who have gone
- 8:45Speaker 1: on to become CEO's, who have gone on to become athletes,
- 8:48Speaker 1: that have passed through this man's small building in the
- 8:51Speaker 1: hood in La, he was a great trust me man
- 8:56Speaker 1: prad changes things, I said all the time. But when
- 8:59Speaker 1: you see people come successful or great, that somebody praying
- 9:02Speaker 1: somewhere may not even beat them. Maybe it's day Mama.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You know, I think of Tiger Woods and all the
- 9:07Speaker 1: greatness he's accomplished. You know, they always talk about as
- 9:11Speaker 1: farther than all this here, somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I got cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mama
- 9:19Speaker 1: is a praying woman or something. My mother was. She
- 9:21Speaker 1: prayed me into this place because she used to call
- 9:24Speaker 1: me all the time praying for your boy. And prayer
- 9:27Speaker 1: changes things, It really does. Try it today. It can
- 9:31Speaker 1: change you. It has changed millions of people. Open up
- 9:34Speaker 1: yourself to the greatness that's in you because God is
- 9:37Speaker 1: giving you a gift. Now the fact that you ain't
- 9:40Speaker 1: using it. Who fought you think that is? I'm just
- 9:43Speaker 1: telling you you got one, and if you start praying
- 9:45Speaker 1: about it, it'll manifest itself and you can become one
- 9:50Speaker 1: or two things, successful or great or both. You can
- 9:56Speaker 1: make the decision. Today. You're morning show here, ye here,
- 10:04Speaker 1: ye have your attention. Please, this is the beginning of
- 10:10Speaker 1: a new day, a dawning of a new adventure. We're
- 10:15Speaker 1: inviting you all to join in with us as we
- 10:18Speaker 1: partake of this new day. Steve Harvey has said often
- 10:24Speaker 1: words of his beloved mother that today is the day
- 10:30Speaker 1: that the Lord has made. Let us rejuice and be
- 10:36Speaker 1: glad in it that everyone who is a good nature
- 10:41Speaker 1: say amen, Amen, Amen again Amen. Now I will introduce
- 10:48Speaker 1: all of the members of the cut to you, ladies
- 10:51Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Please the woman who's named after fruit Arlist

- 11:15Speaker 1: y'a grace, good morning. Moving on this man right here's
- 11:21Speaker 1: fresh out of therapy. He's hell, I can't remember what
- 11:31Speaker 1: he went in for. Ladies and gentlemen, I lose name
- 11:36Speaker 1: is Junior morning UC Welcome, welcome, welcome, lastly, but of
- 11:43Speaker 1: course not of the least factor he would be offended.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's the nephew Harbos Westlen Miles. Hello, you're great, fine, fine,
- 11:58Speaker 1: lovely brow they all doing today? You got tired of
- 12:02Speaker 1: it that quickly? Too early for that? Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 12:09Speaker 1: you know sometimes when I'm doing stuff like, oh man,
- 12:11Speaker 1: I'm sick of me getting on your own nerves. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: before I get on my nerves, let me stop so well.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Feeling pretty good this morning. Harvey moved. Oh, man, I
- 12:30Speaker 1: feel good today. Man, I feel good. God is in
- 12:34Speaker 1: the blessing business. Man, I'm only receiving it. The cold
- 12:38Speaker 1: thing about God is he's in the blessing business even
- 12:42Speaker 1: when it don't appeal. Man, I wish somebody could send
- 12:46Speaker 1: me the scripture they sent me. Man. All good people, Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 1: that have been writing with us for almost twenty years. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: almost twenty years. Yeahpecally this hour the early rises, right, yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: all you mean since two thousand, yeah, I mean you've
- 13:10Speaker 1: had your show that long. He hasn't been a national
- 13:13Speaker 1: show that long. But anyway, coming up radio twenty years
- 13:17Speaker 1: almost almost yeah, all right, listen, yeah it is you
- 13:27Speaker 1: ask me some questions come back, all right about what anything? Okay?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Oh you want to do, asked Steve. I'm electric this. Okay,
- 13:38Speaker 1: let's do this. We'll be back at thirty two after
- 13:41Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening, coming up next
- 13:48Speaker 1: hour and trending political news. We're gonna talk about. We
- 13:52Speaker 1: have to talk about former Special Council Robert Muller. He
- 13:56Speaker 1: finally spoke out. He gave his conclusion of the all
- 14:00Speaker 1: A report. But right now, Steve wants to do ask Steve.
- 14:04Speaker 1: This is one of his favorite segments and it's where
- 14:08Speaker 1: we ask you questions and excited. Yes, okay, that's the
- 14:12Speaker 1: first question. Yeah, what what are some of the things?
- 14:16Speaker 1: This is one. What are you so excited about the future? Um,
- 14:22Speaker 1: I'm excited about how God unravels things because it throws
- 14:28Speaker 1: a lot of people into something. But you know, earlier
- 14:33Speaker 1: I was talking about this scripture. Yes, but what it
- 14:37Speaker 1: says was like I use a this Darby Bible translation
- 14:42Speaker 1: and he said, but God has chosen the foolish things
- 14:45Speaker 1: of the world that he may put to shame the wise.
- 14:50Speaker 1: So what the guy was explaining to me was people,
- 14:53Speaker 1: the wise, people that think they know everything. Sometimes what
- 14:56Speaker 1: God do is here to something that appears to be
- 14:59Speaker 1: so full elish to confound them, to befuddle their mind.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Just show them this ea that he can work anything
- 15:06Speaker 1: out of anything. That's the translation he gave me. And
- 15:09Speaker 1: I just get excited when stuff is happening in my
- 15:12Speaker 1: life and I'm in anticipation of what God is going
- 15:15Speaker 1: to through. Oh yeah, expectation, anticipation. I love that. All right, Carl,
- 15:20Speaker 1: you got a question. I've asked something Fellas because they're
- 15:24Speaker 1: gonna give you next Okay, I'm filing the train. We've
- 15:31Speaker 1: talked about this before, planning a vacation on a budget. Okay,
- 15:41Speaker 1: this year's budget is a right cool bam. Here we go.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Where you're going from. Let's say I'm gonna leave from Texas, Texas. Okay, listen, carefully,
- 16:01Speaker 1: go ahead. You can't drive because Texas gonna suck up
- 16:09Speaker 1: three days. Just too damn big. You ain't close to
- 16:16Speaker 1: nothing if you in texts Okay, okay, unless you're just
- 16:19Speaker 1: going through another Texas city. But let's say you're in Houston. Okay,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I like it. You're in Houston, I would buy a
- 16:30Speaker 1: ticket two. Now, you ain't gonna understand this. But to
- 16:37Speaker 1: the coastal beaches of Pensacola. Okay, that's an underserved place.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Flying the mobile, I don't know if you can fly
- 16:48Speaker 1: in the Pencacola, Pencacola and forty minute from mobile, flying
- 16:52Speaker 1: the mobile, cheat get you a nice resort hotel right
- 16:57Speaker 1: on the beach. That water down there's pretty and then
- 16:59Speaker 1: beat are clean. And this time year it ain't a
- 17:02Speaker 1: lot of people down there. And they got the got
- 17:05Speaker 1: two little beach places that they came back after the
- 17:08Speaker 1: hero came they got nice food shops down there. The
- 17:11Speaker 1: food down there is good, and it came thirty five
- 17:14Speaker 1: ball it hard. Yeah, so this is funny time your family,
- 17:18Speaker 1: all right, yeah, man, family of four five? Yeah, you're
- 17:22Speaker 1: down that ball in hard? Okay, okay, all right, all right,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I like all hard nice beaches down there, look them up,
- 17:32Speaker 1: all right, you and here, come on. What's your question for?
- 17:34Speaker 1: Asked Steve. Okay, I watched this movie. I watched this
- 17:37Speaker 1: movie last night and it was so horrible. You can't
- 17:40Speaker 1: get your time back. What was the movie that you
- 17:42Speaker 1: watched that you you can't get your time back? It
- 17:45Speaker 1: was horrible? Yeah, it was hord what's the movie you watched?
- 17:48Speaker 1: You know you hated Pink, Pam, Peter Sellars, man, I
- 17:55Speaker 1: was Steve Martin. Oh my god, hell I love Peter,
- 18:02Speaker 1: so I couldn't. Did you like Peter and Peter Sellers
- 18:05Speaker 1: as an actor comedian? Did you like him as as
- 18:08Speaker 1: that a comedic actor? Oh? Okay, you have to like
- 18:14Speaker 1: you have to like him. Agree down to this damn movie.
- 18:21Speaker 1: This is what it is. Can't get your time back?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Come on, nephew, you have a question for your uncle.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I know you give me something valla that Steve Harvey
- 18:32Speaker 1: do on vacation that I can do. So now I'm
- 18:39Speaker 1: taking the wife to Turks and Kko give me something
- 18:42Speaker 1: Bola I can do. Oh he can't go to this?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Good call, but not Tommy. Yes, sir, Now what I
- 18:55Speaker 1: tell you this? Let me ask you a question for
- 18:57Speaker 1: I say, okay, Rick, are you gonna have to involve
- 19:02Speaker 1: other people? Now that's just inside, but it's so funny.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Tell him someone. We got to get some more people,
- 19:12Speaker 1: so we split it. I just need to know, is
- 19:15Speaker 1: I'm taking eight couples? Couple? No, y that's inside and
- 19:22Speaker 1: you know no, we've had this discussion publicly before. Oh
- 19:29Speaker 1: it's funny now now that okay, Tommy. So you're going
- 19:32Speaker 1: to Turks and Cacos and you want to do some baller.
- 19:38Speaker 1: All right, So here's the deal. You have to resort.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You go to the manager one evening without her knowing it.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You just tell her to get dressed, y'all going to dinner.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Have the manager put a table out on the beach,
- 19:55Speaker 1: put them tiki lamps around it to supply or lamps
- 19:58Speaker 1: and stuff for light, and have two waiters at your
- 20:03Speaker 1: beck and call one for all drinks and beverages of
- 20:07Speaker 1: one to get food. Somebody standing about twelve feet away
- 20:11Speaker 1: at all time. You're on the beach. It's dug They're
- 20:15Speaker 1: bringing your food and your drinks and you're on the beach.

- 20:46Speaker 1: a damn We gotta fay table bought out so eight

- 20:52Speaker 1: Coming up next, run that brank back with the nephew
- 20:56Speaker 1: right after this You're listening show coming up at the

- 21:33Speaker 1: from the power company. How are you doing today? I'm
- 21:36Speaker 1: all right, what's up? Well? Listen, we're doing some testing
- 21:38Speaker 1: in your neighborhood. We're trying to make sure we don't
- 21:40Speaker 1: have to actually shut the power down out there, and
- 21:44Speaker 1: we're calling around quite a few people in your neighborhood,
- 21:47Speaker 1: running some tests on individual homes and making sure the
- 21:50Speaker 1: electricity is running correctly. Um, can I get you to
- 21:53Speaker 1: do a few things swarm and see the quicker we
- 21:56Speaker 1: get through with this, sir, and it's possibility we won't
- 21:59Speaker 1: have to turn your power off at all. I know
- 22:00Speaker 1: you don't want us to have to come out and
- 22:02Speaker 1: turn power off. And you got stuff in your refrigerator
- 22:05Speaker 1: that can spoil and things like that. So we want
- 22:07Speaker 1: to try to get this done and hopefully the power
- 22:09Speaker 1: with the with the test that we run, it'll it'll
- 22:11Speaker 1: it'll run correctly and we won't have to do anything. Okay,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I don't know about an electricity though, you know what
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm saying, So no, no no, no, I understand that. Don't
- 22:18Speaker 1: worry about that. All right, here's what I need you
- 22:20Speaker 1: to do. Now. How big is your house? Do you?
- 22:22Speaker 1: How many bedrooms you got four bedrooms now you have
- 22:25Speaker 1: upstairs downstairs? It's too short, okay, all right, So here's
- 22:30Speaker 1: what we need to do. Um, if you can't, ain't
- 22:32Speaker 1: gonna take loan though, hey I got because I'm in
- 22:34Speaker 1: a hurry. Then ain't gonna have a lot of time. No,
- 22:36Speaker 1: no, no no, this this this, this, this won't take long
- 22:38Speaker 1: at all. So can I get you to take your
- 22:41Speaker 1: breaker and shut down everything upstairs and we're gonna run
- 22:44Speaker 1: a test on the stuff downstairs right now. It'll be
- 22:47Speaker 1: real quick, all right, just shut just shut everything off.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I want you to keep the downstairs open and keep
- 22:52Speaker 1: that to the week so we can run our test
- 22:54Speaker 1: on this thing. All right, everything's shut, everything's down. Okay,

- 23:10Speaker 1: I got two TVs downstairs. Let's turn them both on.
- 23:13Speaker 1: You just turn them on, Just turn them on. You
- 23:16Speaker 1: got them on? I got one on. Let's try to
- 23:19Speaker 1: turn that other one on. All right, they both on? Okay,
- 23:22Speaker 1: Now you got a microwave in your kitchen. Yeah, I
- 23:24Speaker 1: got a microwave. Okay, turn that on. It's already on, man.

- 23:29Speaker 1: on it, that's got that double hron thing that's going
- 23:31Speaker 1: through there. It's a whole different type of current. I

- 23:45Speaker 1: Come on now, let me what I gotta do. No,
- 23:47Speaker 1: this is a test, sir. What I don't want to

- 24:28Speaker 1: that button five times for me and see what it does.
- 24:31Speaker 1: What the light button? Yeah, push that light button five times.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Come on, man, that did it? Go off and on?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Every day it's open on man. The actually they end
- 24:40Speaker 1: up wrong with the refrigerator. Refrigerators plugged in. Man, Okay,

- 24:50Speaker 1: May say that's a nitral current, that's a nitrol current.

- 25:00Speaker 1: got it on, I got it on. Okay, Now go

- 25:32Speaker 1: this area, man, right, I understand that you don't see
- 25:34Speaker 1: what it is. This is an awkward bookie current that

- 25:44Speaker 1: that's it. Okay, all right, toilely worse man, you ain't

- 26:33Speaker 1: you need to take the next house. You don't have
- 26:35Speaker 1: no problems with those smoothes or nothing in that thing,
- 26:37Speaker 1: do you see, man? With the world, I got to
- 26:40Speaker 1: do with anything. Man, I gotta get to work. I understand,
- 26:43Speaker 1: I understand. Listen to a minute. A minute, go too far,
- 26:46Speaker 1: come out here, or do this because I need to
- 26:48Speaker 1: get to my job. And I got understand that job.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But I could just call and have people go through
- 26:52Speaker 1: the damn house playing scavenger hunt. I gotta get to work. Okay,
- 26:55Speaker 1: Now listen, Quincy, one last thing. Are you able to
- 26:58Speaker 1: shut that breaker? Put that breaker back and then shut
- 27:01Speaker 1: off downstairs, and then go upstairs and check some stuff
- 27:03Speaker 1: for me. Shut off? What shut off the breaker downstairs?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Go ahead and turn it. I'm not shutting off no
- 27:08Speaker 1: breaker downstairs. I shut off the water upstairs. We didn't
- 27:11Speaker 1: turn it on. Every damn thing down here. You didn't
- 27:13Speaker 1: have me. I got the blender, I didn't turn on
- 27:15Speaker 1: the microwave to from Fridgerately cool man push and told

- 27:34Speaker 1: here this work. I don't piss me off and make
- 27:36Speaker 1: me turn it all the way off. You at work,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and when I get back from work, work, this should
- 27:42Speaker 1: be on. I got one more thing I need to
- 27:44Speaker 1: say to you, Quinny. It's better be the last thing.
- 27:46Speaker 1: That's his nephew Timmy from the Steve Hobby Morning Show.

- 29:43Speaker 1: in July. He's already blinging out of control, out of control. Wow,
- 29:52Speaker 1: do whatever? You know? Just like Future brought his five

- 30:03Speaker 1: I mean, but I don't mind that people do it.
- 30:07Speaker 1: It's just not for me. The only reason I'm not
- 30:10Speaker 1: gonna do it it's cost I know. If I did
- 30:13Speaker 1: it, it it would just so I could say I did it,
- 30:15Speaker 1: because my baby wouldn't have any awareness or understand the
- 30:18Speaker 1: value of it, and they lose it. But I mean,
- 30:22Speaker 1: you know, if that's what you want to do, so
- 30:24Speaker 1: you could feel good when you look down at your baby.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I mean, it's your money, you know, do you You

- 31:30Speaker 1: ain't doing number one. She can't even color in the
- 31:34Speaker 1: lions eight five thousand. Your baby were busting her brains,
- 31:39Speaker 1: getting all a's and your baby down the store and
- 31:43Speaker 1: barter damn Apple Watch. Yes, I'm proud of it. Did
- 31:48Speaker 1: you ask her? Did Tommy? Is this Sydney? She asked

- 32:10Speaker 1: says that when their babies, you don't really it doesn't
- 32:14Speaker 1: really sink in until you blink and you know they're
- 32:18Speaker 1: fourteen and twenty two and eleven. Yeah, Tisha graduated from
- 32:23Speaker 1: fifth grade. She's going to middle school. Crazy. Yeah, these
- 32:28Speaker 1: kids are really growing on you. Gett into the Apple

- 32:46Speaker 1: You're not how much you called you need a half men,
- 32:47Speaker 1: you go to USC, I gotta say, well, yeah, so
- 32:53Speaker 1: many jokes. Yeah, it's really all right. See, we're gonna
- 32:57Speaker 1: just move on, move on for headline. Just pay for
- 33:01Speaker 1: your baby to get in, ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Trimp,
- 33:06Speaker 1: thank you very much. Guys. This is a trip of
- 33:08Speaker 1: the news. While President Trump and his fellow Republicans are
- 33:11Speaker 1: responding to Special Prosecutor Robin Muller's statements yesterday in the
- 33:15Speaker 1: same way congressional Republicans say it's time to move on,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Trump's tweeting that quote. The Special Counsel's report and statement
- 33:22Speaker 1: change nothing. The case is closed, and Trump goes on
- 33:25Speaker 1: to say that there is insufficient evidence to charge him
- 33:28Speaker 1: with a crime. However, that's not what Muller said. He
- 33:30Speaker 1: said he couldn't charge the sitting president with anything because
- 33:33Speaker 1: the Justice Department wouldn't allow him to do it. The
- 33:36Speaker 1: Special Counsel's office is part of the Department of Justice,
- 33:39Speaker 1: and by regulation, it was bound by that department policy.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Charging the president with a crime was therefore not an
- 33:46Speaker 1: option we could consider. And as for Trump's often repeated
- 33:50Speaker 1: assertion that it was all a collusion delusion, the special
- 33:53Speaker 1: prosecutor was very very careful to say that his report
- 33:57Speaker 1: did not say that Trump was innocent. If we had
- 34:00Speaker 1: confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime,
- 34:04Speaker 1: we would have said so. So how Speaker Nancy Pelosi
- 34:07Speaker 1: says that while she's still hesitant to call for impeachment,
- 34:10Speaker 1: that all options are nevertheless still on the table. Yesterday
- 34:13Speaker 1: was the fourteenth day in a row that a tornado
- 34:16Speaker 1: touched down somewhere in the US. This time he was
- 34:18Speaker 1: in Texas yesterday. Meanwhile, every county in Oklahoma is undern
- 34:22Speaker 1: emergency declaration. Today, Democrats are calling Republicans Senate Leader Mitch
- 34:26Speaker 1: McConnell out as a man who keeps changing the rules
- 34:29Speaker 1: to suit himself and his party. McConnell was asked this
- 34:32Speaker 1: week about what would happen if a Supreme Court seat
- 34:34Speaker 1: became vacant during this the twenty twenty election season. McConnell
- 34:37Speaker 1: quickly said, oh, we'd fill it well. That's the opposite
- 34:41Speaker 1: of what McConnell said during the twenty sixteen election season.
- 34:44Speaker 1: May remember when he Congressional Republicans refused to even meet
- 34:47Speaker 1: with President Obama's choice for the High Court when a
- 34:50Speaker 1: seat became available because right wing judge Anthony Scalia died.
- 34:53Speaker 1: At that point, McConnell's argument was that, no, we should
- 34:56Speaker 1: see who's elected president first. The American people should have
- 34:59Speaker 1: us in the courts direction. It is a presidence constitutional
- 35:03Speaker 1: right to nominate a Supreme Court justice, and it is
- 35:06Speaker 1: the Senate's constitutional right to act as a check on
- 35:08Speaker 1: a president and withhold it's consent. And that is exactly
- 35:12Speaker 1: what he did. Democrats say he stole President Obama's right
- 35:16Speaker 1: to appointed justice and held a seat open for the
- 35:19Speaker 1: eventual president Donald Trump. The folks at Disney say they're
- 35:23Speaker 1: thinking about leaving Georgia over its planned really restrictive abortion law.
- 35:27Speaker 1: By the way, Netflix has already made a similar announcement.
- 35:30Speaker 1: There are also certain groups of fraternal groups and such
- 35:32Speaker 1: who say they're not going to hold their conventions anymore
- 35:35Speaker 1: in Georgia because of that. And finally, today today is
- 35:40Speaker 1: the end of Middle Ages day? Or will they be
- 35:43Speaker 1: a sequel. Go back to this de Harvey boarding show.
- 35:46Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Robert Muller has
- 35:51Speaker 1: finally spoken. Okay. The Special Council addressed the public for
- 35:56Speaker 1: the first time yesterday since concluding his investigation into Russian
- 36:01Speaker 1: interference in the twenty sixteen election. Mother said, if we
- 36:05Speaker 1: had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime,
- 36:10Speaker 1: we would have said so. Mueller pointed out that he
- 36:13Speaker 1: felt bound by the Department of Justice guidelines not to
- 36:17Speaker 1: charge a sitting president with obstruction of justice. But this
- 36:21Speaker 1: does not mean a crime wasn't committed. Take a listen.
- 36:25Speaker 1: It explains that under longstanding Department policy, a president cannot
- 36:30Speaker 1: be charged with a federal crime while he is in office.
- 36:33Speaker 1: That is unconstitutional. Even if the charge is kept under
- 36:36Speaker 1: sealed and hidden from public view, that too is prohibited.
- 36:40Speaker 1: The Special Counsel's office is part of the Department of Justice,
- 36:43Speaker 1: and by regulation, it was bound by that department policy.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Charging the president with a crime was therefore not an
- 36:51Speaker 1: option we could consider. The Department's written opinion explaining the
- 36:56Speaker 1: policy makes several important points that further informed our handling
- 37:00Speaker 1: of the obstruction investigation. Those points are summarized in our report,
- 37:04Speaker 1: and I will describe two of them for you. First,
- 37:07Speaker 1: the opinion explicitly permits the investigation of a sitting president
- 37:11Speaker 1: because it is important to preserve evidence while memories are
- 37:14Speaker 1: fresh and documents available, among other things. That evidence could
- 37:18Speaker 1: be used if there were co conspirators who could be
- 37:21Speaker 1: charged now. In second, the opinion says that the Constitution
- 37:25Speaker 1: requires a process other than the criminal justice system to
- 37:29Speaker 1: formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing, and beyond department policy,
- 37:34Speaker 1: we reguarded by principles of fairness. It would be unfair
- 37:37Speaker 1: to potentially accuse somebody of a crime when there can
- 37:41Speaker 1: be no court resolution of the actual charge. That's pretty clear. Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 1: that's an airy. Yeah, he didn't have the power to
- 37:54Speaker 1: do to charge him with the crime. His hands were tied. Well,
- 37:57Speaker 1: or do you hold all this until he's done being
- 38:00Speaker 1: in the president? But all it takes, Well, that's why
- 38:02Speaker 1: he's gonna fight really, really hard to get reelected, because
- 38:06Speaker 1: i'd keep him out of the hock for another four years.
- 38:09Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what though, I'm gonna tell you
- 38:12Speaker 1: what the Republican Party heard in this sis. You don't
- 38:18Speaker 1: have the power from the DOJ to indict or or
- 38:24Speaker 1: indict a sitting president. All the Republicans and Donald Trump
- 38:29Speaker 1: heard was we can do what we want to do
- 38:32Speaker 1: because they can't touch us. And that's what they heard.
- 38:37Speaker 1: And if you listen to Sarah Sanders on TV, that's
- 38:39Speaker 1: what they're saying happened. It's ridiculous, man, This man is
- 38:44Speaker 1: allowed to get away with because if President Obama had
- 38:48Speaker 1: done any oh my god, yes, yes, yes, Well coming
- 38:57Speaker 1: up next to thirty four after the hour, Steve Robert
- 38:59Speaker 1: Muller's pretty much begging Congress to impeach the president as
- 39:04Speaker 1: he refuses to clear him of obstruction of justice. We'll
- 39:07Speaker 1: get into that right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:12Speaker 1: former Special counsel Robert Muller broke his silence yesterday. He
- 39:16Speaker 1: refused to clear the president of obstruction, and he said
- 39:20Speaker 1: charging the president was a crime with a crime was
- 39:23Speaker 1: not an option due to the Department of Justice policy.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Many Democrats, however, believe that Mueller has punted the ball
- 39:31Speaker 1: to Congress and he wants them to start impeachment, the
- 39:37Speaker 1: impeachment process, that's what they're believing. No, No, he punted
- 39:43Speaker 1: the ball to Congress a long time ago. Yeah, he
- 39:47Speaker 1: took it off his plate, I feel a long time ago.
- 39:51Speaker 1: And I just think, man, that what Pelosi is saying
- 39:56Speaker 1: is they gotta do some further investigation and inquiries to
- 40:01Speaker 1: be able to do this to correct way. Because here's
- 40:03Speaker 1: the problem, guys. If they bring impeachment charges, it may
- 40:08Speaker 1: clear the Congress, but it will not clear the Senate
- 40:13Speaker 1: because the Republicans control the Senate and they're not going
- 40:16Speaker 1: to impeach this guy. Yeah, and she's saying that the
- 40:19Speaker 1: president almost welcomes the impeachment process because it'll make him
- 40:24Speaker 1: look like a victim during the election, and it'll make
- 40:27Speaker 1: America sympathetics. Shouldn't happen to any other president. Yeah, all
- 40:31Speaker 1: of that, you know, it'll make them sympathetic, and he'll
- 40:34Speaker 1: get in that way, you know. So that's why she's
- 40:37Speaker 1: against the impeachment. So I'm just, you know what, I'm
- 40:40Speaker 1: just really forever amazed at the fact that the Republican Party,
- 40:47Speaker 1: which is supposed to be the Grand Old Party, the
- 40:51Speaker 1: moral the moral conductor of the United States, the political right,
- 41:00Speaker 1: and the right is supposed to mean exactly what they
- 41:02Speaker 1: call themselves. We're on the right, We're the most conservative
- 41:06Speaker 1: we honor the constitution. We want everybody abiding by the law. YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 41:13Speaker 1: YadA YadA. But this is the most hypocritical performance of
- 41:17Speaker 1: an entire party that I've ever seen, because they know
- 41:20Speaker 1: this man. It's not a good president. They know it. Yeah,
- 41:25Speaker 1: how can you not know that? They know it? And
- 41:28Speaker 1: Russia interfered period, that was crystal clear, that was no collusion. Yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 1: something happened. It's too many people that have gone to
- 41:45Speaker 1: jail that are friends of him, work with him, or
- 41:48Speaker 1: we'll put in the cabinet by him. He don't know
- 41:51Speaker 1: none of this, No manaf did friend did? He don't
- 41:58Speaker 1: know nothing, him nothing, and get out of here. You
- 42:01Speaker 1: bought all them people in Yeah, yeah, all of them.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Damn your dude. But you know, and he keeps saying
- 42:08Speaker 1: he's been completely transparent. He's giving them everything they needed.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'm the most transparent president in the history of our nation. Man,
- 42:18Speaker 1: This dude just be making up stuff. Let me see
- 42:20Speaker 1: your taxes that ain't gonna happen. Let me see your
- 42:26Speaker 1: taxes coming testify in front of the Congress. Let these
- 42:31Speaker 1: people that work for you come and testify. He'd told
- 42:35Speaker 1: everybody to work for him, don't you go down and
- 42:36Speaker 1: then obey him subpoenis. Yeah, he doesn't do that. He
- 42:40Speaker 1: ignores all the subpoenis. He wouldn't testify, he won't turn
- 42:44Speaker 1: in his tax returns. The most transparent president to please,
- 42:49Speaker 1: and if you tell the truth on him, you could
- 42:51Speaker 1: jail time. Yeah, look at Cohen exactly. Yeah, President, here's

- 43:14Speaker 1: because this dude really really Cohen only did what he
- 43:18Speaker 1: was told that. Attorneys don't act on their own, attorneys
- 43:23Speaker 1: don't make payoffs on their own. He did what his
- 43:27Speaker 1: client wanted. Absolutely, yeah. Yeah. And did you guys hear
- 43:33Speaker 1: about the White House with the uh They wanted the
- 43:36Speaker 1: Navy destroyer named after the USS McCain. He wanted a tarp.
- 43:41Speaker 1: He wanted that covered the president. He didn't want to
- 43:44Speaker 1: see that while he was in Japan, so they covered
- 43:47Speaker 1: the name of the ship. You yeah, he is pets

- 47:17Speaker 1: see her when she gets home, you know, So, why
- 47:20Speaker 1: is it so important that you waste a whole hour
- 47:23Speaker 1: of lushine holding up? Ain't wasted, ain't ain't waste mouth.
- 47:26Speaker 1: I'm talking to my lady. Okay, you understand that. Why

- 53:43Speaker 1: Buckle up, hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Here it is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subjects
- 53:48Speaker 1: do I choose my man or my friends? Here's Stephen Shirley.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I am a young, healthy, and wise beyond my years,
- 53:55Speaker 1: single woman that is a leader to my peers. At
- 53:59Speaker 1: my young age, I have found the most handsome and
- 54:03Speaker 1: amazing man of my dreams. He is respectful, has a
- 54:07Speaker 1: great job, a beautiful home, and he treats me like
- 54:12Speaker 1: a queen. But here is the problem. Well, it's not
- 54:15Speaker 1: a problem for us. It's more a problem for our
- 54:18Speaker 1: friends and family. I am twenty two years old and
- 54:22Speaker 1: he is forty two years old. Now, I know you
- 54:26Speaker 1: are also shocked by our age difference, but I love
- 54:30Speaker 1: him and believe age has nothing to do with it.
- 54:34Speaker 1: When I introduced him to my friends. They all judged
- 54:37Speaker 1: him immediately because of his age. You can tell that
- 54:40Speaker 1: he is a bit older. They said that he's using
- 54:43Speaker 1: me and it won't last because he is just going
- 54:46Speaker 1: through a phase. They didn't even want to get to
- 54:49Speaker 1: know him and experience his great personality. My family is
- 54:53Speaker 1: not happy with me dating him either. We've been together
- 54:57Speaker 1: for a year and he says we're soulmates and he
- 55:00Speaker 1: wants to marry me. I know if I marry him,
- 55:03Speaker 1: I would be choosing him over my friends. I know
- 55:07Speaker 1: my family will love me regardless, but now I am
- 55:10Speaker 1: having doubts about marrying him because I want it all
- 55:14Speaker 1: my friends and my husband. What do you think is
- 55:17Speaker 1: age that important? I need your advice. Well, you know,
- 55:21Speaker 1: I gotta tell you this first off, it's your life.
- 55:24Speaker 1: You can't get married and you can't live for and
- 55:27Speaker 1: have a relationship for your friends. This is your life
- 55:30Speaker 1: and your relationship. I mean if they're really your friends,
- 55:33Speaker 1: If they're truly your friends, even though they may not
- 55:36Speaker 1: agree with who you're with, but if they're your friends,
- 55:40Speaker 1: they're going to support you and be there for you
- 55:42Speaker 1: if anything goes wrong or whatever you need, they'll be
- 55:46Speaker 1: there for you. If they're your friends. But I definitely
- 55:48Speaker 1: don't want to ignore this enormous elephant in this letter.
- 55:52Speaker 1: And that's if you were twenty two and he is
- 55:55Speaker 1: forty two. I mean, this is a huge age difference.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I'm not saying a marriage can't work.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I'm sure there are some out there that have with
- 56:04Speaker 1: a twenty year age span, But it's definitely a chance
- 56:09Speaker 1: you're taking. It's a chance it could work. Who knows,
- 56:12Speaker 1: But you have to have things in common. You say,
- 56:15Speaker 1: you guys have been together for a year. You say,
- 56:18Speaker 1: he says your soulmates, and he wants to marry you.
- 56:22Speaker 1: But now you're having doubts because you want your friends
- 56:25Speaker 1: and you want him. I mean, this is why your
- 56:29Speaker 1: friends are and your family are a little upset, and
- 56:32Speaker 1: they're so judgmental because of the big age difference. You know,
- 56:36Speaker 1: they probably see things that you don't see. They say
- 56:40Speaker 1: he's using you? Is he using you? Or are you
- 56:42Speaker 1: two in love to see that? You know, I just say,
- 56:47Speaker 1: don't be so much worried about whether your friends are
- 56:50Speaker 1: gonna still be around or not, you know, and having
- 56:54Speaker 1: to choose between them and your man. You're gonna choose
- 56:57Speaker 1: your man in this instance, I mean, you really are
- 56:59Speaker 1: gonna choose your man because you love him, and he's
- 57:01Speaker 1: older and he'll probably be able to persuade you to
- 57:05Speaker 1: choose him. So you know, keep your friends, don't get
- 57:09Speaker 1: rid of your friends. You got to keep your friends
- 57:11Speaker 1: because you're going to need them in case anything goes
- 57:14Speaker 1: wrong in this relationship. I'm not saying it is, but
- 57:16Speaker 1: it could steve because of the age difference. Well, here's
- 57:22Speaker 1: my view on this. You say you found the most
- 57:26Speaker 1: handsome and amazing man of my dreams. You say he's respectful,
- 57:31Speaker 1: has a great job, he has a beautiful home, and
- 57:35Speaker 1: you say he treats you like a queen. Now right there,
- 57:39Speaker 1: describing that you found the guy that most women are
- 57:43Speaker 1: looking for. But then you said not nobody else. You
- 57:49Speaker 1: said here's the problem, but then you try to preface
- 57:54Speaker 1: it by saying, well, it's not a problem for us,
- 57:58Speaker 1: it's more of a problem or our friends and family.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Wait a minute, so I didn't hear nothing about problems
- 58:06Speaker 1: with your friends. I just heard in the letter problem
- 58:09Speaker 1: with your friends. Are you saying his friends have problems
- 58:13Speaker 1: with it too, it's more of your friend situation? Or
- 58:19Speaker 1: is it you all friends, because you say it's more
- 58:21Speaker 1: of a problem for our friends and family. Now you're
- 58:24Speaker 1: twenty two, he forty two. That's a twenty year gap.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Now then you say, now, I see this is a
- 58:31Speaker 1: lot of you assuming, because then you say, I know
- 58:36Speaker 1: you are also shocked by our age difference. We didn't
- 58:41Speaker 1: say that. Ryley didn't say she was shocked by We're
- 58:45Speaker 1: just reading the letter. But you keep prefacing everything with
- 58:51Speaker 1: it's a problem. Well, it's really not a problem for us.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Then you say you're shocked by age difference. See this
- 58:58Speaker 1: is a problem for you, young lady. But I love
- 59:01Speaker 1: him and I believe age has nothing to do with it.
- 59:05Speaker 1: But then when you introduced him to your friends, they
- 59:09Speaker 1: judge him immediately because of his age. Then you said
- 59:14Speaker 1: you can tell that he's a bit older. Well, now
- 59:17Speaker 1: what does that mean. What did he do in front
- 59:21Speaker 1: of your kid ass friend that just made his ass
- 59:25Speaker 1: look old? Was his hands pulled up right up under
- 59:29Speaker 1: his chair? Come on, I'm just saying because you said
- 59:34Speaker 1: you can tell he's a bit old. Does he have
- 59:40Speaker 1: a cigarette behind his ear when he talking? Does he
- 59:46Speaker 1: have a pack of Cruise roll up in the sleeve
- 59:49Speaker 1: of his white T shirt? Does he have on sandals
- 59:54Speaker 1: with black socks? Hold that thought, Steven, hold that thought.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: We love Part two of your response coming up. Do
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: we have a stern wheel wrap on his stern wheel
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: on his Coming up in twenty three after the hour,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter, Do I choose my man or my friends?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: More of Steve's coming up right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: show All right, Steve, here we go. Let's recap today's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Strawberry letter subject, Do I choose my man or my friends?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Let's recap. Well, this is twenty aged twenty year age
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: different tween twenty two year oldgol and it's twenty two
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: year old man, and he's everything she's ever wanted. But
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: here's the problem, she said, But here's the problem. Then
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: she said, well, it's not a problem for us. Then
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: she said, it's more of a problem for our friends
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: and family. Now in the letter, she never mentioned anything
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: about his friends and family, just her friends and family.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: So then she said she knowed me and Shirley shocked
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: by your age difference. But I love him. I believe
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: ain't nothing they gotten doing it. When I introduced to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: my friend, they judged him immediately because of his age,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you can tell he is a bit old. Come on,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: what when he up to your feet? Did he have
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: a can go? I'm just I'm just trying to you know,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: when you when you say you can tell he's a
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: bit older when y'all pulled up in the car, was
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the tent on his window public? Really, I'm just telling
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: these old school problems. Now, we just talked about the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: car right now, was it pillars in the back of
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the window of the car pillar? I'm just asking in
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, I'm just asking just what was it about
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: him that screamed old? Let me ask you this right here?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Did he have on Jordan Jeans Jus Georgad? I thought
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Jordan had made him Michael Jordan. Yeah, I thought he
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: went went French and was calling me Georgad. So I
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: don't know what it is. Then your friends told you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: that he's using me and it won't last because he's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: going through a friend phase. Well, let's talk about this
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: phase that he could be going through and why I
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: won't last. Here's the problem I see that you're gonna have.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: And then let me throw this in. They don't even
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: want to get to know him and experience his great personnelity,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and you say your family ain't happy with me dating
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: him either. Now y'all been together for a year, and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: he says with soul mates and he wants to marry me.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I know if I marry him, I could be choosing
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: him over my friends. And I know my family will
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: love me regardless. But now let me just say this,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: let me finish this letter. I know my family will
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: love me gods, but now I'm having doubts about marrying
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: him because I want it all my friends and my husband.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: What do you think is age that important? I need
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: your advice? Well, let me just say this to you.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Let's say, y'all, dude, get married and you are happy.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: In ten years, he gonna be fifty two and you're
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: gonna be thirty two. You're gonna be still scaling up.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: He's scaling down because he's crossed the century mark. So
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: as you get better as a woman, though you're thirty two,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: you're not even as fine as you're going to be.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: You got some old years where you're gonna get real fine,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: real All his fine days about damn neil Behand? What
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: what all his fine days is about? Damn nil Behand?
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Now you think he looks a bit older. Now you'll
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: just wait until his ass and when you see already
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and he don't have no music downloading, that's already. He
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: still got that little vinyl case in the back that
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you snap and it's cdsy. Oh wow. So let's just
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: start there. Man. Now here's your problem. You're gonna reach
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: your point in this relationship where the difference is going
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: to be very noticeable, and it's gonna be things you're
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: gonna want in life and things he's gonna want in life.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: At thirty two, you'll be wanting to take exciting vacations.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: At fifty two he can't too. I know, I'm sixty
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: two and I like great vacation, but that's all. But
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: when I get on my great vacation, Okay, what I
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: want to do. I want to set my great vacation
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: having ass down nothing. Now I don't do events, go
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: out and explore the country, climbing cliffs. And if you
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: have a child, it's a twenty year gap. You know,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: twenty ain't all that bad. But you know when he ten,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Granddaddy gonna be coming up to the school. That's what
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: the other kids is gonna thank you. But it's his
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: damn daddy. Now, your friends, it's sad that you have
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: to choose, because how your friends making you choose like this.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I got some news for you that made your real friends,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: because you're friends, will not make you choose between them
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: or him. Those are not friends. It's just not so.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but it's gonna be some problems with this
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: age gap. And if you don't think it is, they're coming.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Y'all might be soulmates, but you know for how long?

- 1:08:37Speaker 1: prove he committed the crime, I showed me to put
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: it in. That's what Mueller pretty much said. He said,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: swear to god, fat dude, don't know we're just talking
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: about bar don't away talking about that. Ain't what I said.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I said, y'all gonna have to impeach this dude because
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: unconstitutional for me to really go, why we elect this dude?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Then he's so passed, he's so patty. How you not
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: on Memorial Weekend? You in Japan and then you're gonna

- 1:10:31Speaker 1: what timm it is? She is here, call a Farrell
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: with what Reality? Okay, all right, thank you nephew. All right,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: let's talk about Real Housewives of Potomac. All right, So
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Giselle here we go, Steve, that's our girl too. We
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: love Gizelle. She decided to invite the girls on a
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: trip to Neals and oh, you know, her family is
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: having a celebration and Giselle she's in therapy right now,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: so she's trying to you know, she's working on herselves
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and trying to reconnect with her family and all of that.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: So anyway, before the trip, Gazelle met up with her
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: girl Karen at this expo, and you know, Gazelle has
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: her own makeup line, and then Karen says she's launching
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: her own perfume line. But Jazelle had a problem with
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Karen telling a stranger all about her new launch and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: her new product and never told her anything about it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: So you know, they make up, and then they started
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: beefing again. And so while in New Orleans, Candice and Robin,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: they're still holding onto this information or this secret. Remember
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: last week when I told you guys about Ashley's husband, Michael,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: that he got really drunk at Ashley's uncle party. But Steve,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: now listen, Michael said at the party, he was so
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: drunk he said that he wouldn't mind performing oral sex
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: on a man. No that ain't drunk. Yeah, yeah, what
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you're not gonna do is put that off on drunk.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: He was drunk. He was drunk. Everybody robber he was drinking.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: And so they heard him on the mic. So they
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: haven't told Ashley that I heard her husband say that,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: and they haven't talked him about it. Amongst the girls.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: But I've been around a lot of drunk as dudes drunk.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: My brother was an alcoholic for thirty three years. I
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: didn't set up my head. I wasn't. I was a
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: conversations with him. Why he was like, I ain't heard that. Yeah,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: so I don't. I don't think he knows that. They
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: know that. They heard him say that. Now, I've been
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: around some dudes on herowin. Ain't heard that. Okay, yeah, okay,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: we need all of it, all of it, ascid micro dots.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I've been talking people. I've yeah, I've been talking to
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: people called right, I trap. How okay, let's move continue. Yeah,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: So anyway, we gotta see what's going on with that.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: How is that information going to get out to Ashley
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: that they know why her husband that's the one. Well
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the girls know, her girlfriends know, and they were all
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: there drinking. So listen. So moving on from that, let
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: me just say this Ti and Tiny Friends Family Hustle.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I really like the show. Singer Monica. She's dealing with
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: the news about the divorce and it's all going public
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: and uh, she's very private. She's having a really hard
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: time dealing with the divorce from the former NBA player,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: you know, Shan and Brown, that's who she was married too,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and so that's got to be difficult, you know, as
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: a celebrity couple. Everyone's been rooting for Monica for a
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: very long time and she's going through this divorce and
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: it's just, I don't know, Steve, dealing with public issues
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: and relationships. That's that's tough. That's tough on her and
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: her children, parents, her dad is sick. So we're rooting
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: for you, Monica. Give me up at Lip Spark, Carla,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: so we can keep talking about this socially. You're listening,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: all right, guys. We know that our very own Jay
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Anthony Brown is battling leukemia and he's thanking everyone for
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: your prayers of healing and everything. Jay. Of course it's
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: undergoing chemo, and he's always always in good spirits. Yes,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: he is always. He's such a trooper. Keep fighting, Jay,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: We'll keep praying for you. You know, we love you,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: We absolutely love you. And he he's showing a different
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: kind of strength. I haven't seen this kind of strength
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: for someone who's going through something as serious as this.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I mean, he's always laughing. I mean he'll tell you
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: when he's having a bad day. In so far, I've
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: only known of one that he spoke about to us. Yeah,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and he's been thinking everybody on social media takes all
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: day yesterday's. I mean, he's had quite a few bad days.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: But even his bad days, he just handles it as well.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I don't know if you could handle it any better,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: thank you. I don't know either. I don't know why. Yeah, yeah, yes,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: your spirits up. Yeah. I haven't heard anything negative from him. Well,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: he talked a little different to me, so well yeah, yeah, yaship.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: And here's some more positive health good news. Jeopardy game
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: show host Alex Trebek is battling pancreatic cancer. He's stage four.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Alex Trebek is responding very well to chemo ap and
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: his cancer is in near remission. So that's really good

- 1:19:45Speaker 1: all right, here we are, guys, last break of the
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. Steve, you have some closing remarks
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: for us. I know you do. Yeah, you know. I
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: want to remind everybody of something that God created us
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: all for greatness. All of us were created in His likeness.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: All of us were created to be an example of
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: what God can do in people's lives. We were all
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: created for this. What happens along the way is we
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: make decisions because God gave us the power of choice.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: We make decisions at people as people that counteract what
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: God really intended for us. And one of the reasons
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: we counteract what God intended for us is because the
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: devil's main job the opposition, is to not allow you
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to reach your potential. See the devil don't ever want
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: you to reach your potential, because then he'll have another
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: child of God out there spreading the word and showing
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: off and being an example of what light can do,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: and what love can do, and what the power of
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: prayer can do. So his job is to make each
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: and every one of us fall by the wayside. That's
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: his constant mission in life. To make us think we're
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: not worthy, to make us think we can't, to make
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: us think it ain't possible, to make us look at
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: our environment, to make us feel like, well, it's because
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I'm this, I can't be that. Ain't none of that true?
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: None of that is true. I bought a book the
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: other day by Joel Olstein because I was listening to
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: him over the weekend and he sent this. He was
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: talking about his new book called Next Level Thinking, and
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I bought the book. And because I constantly try to
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: reinforce myself. As successful as you may think I am,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I still have a ways to go and I will
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: always try to improve myself. And people like Joel Olds
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: to Bishop Jakes, Bishop Almer, Bishop Getty's down there in
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: North Carolina. My boy, you know, it's a lot Charles
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Jenkins up in Chicago. It's a lot of dudes. Man
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: that called me to make sure I'm okay. Check in
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: on me, Tyler, check in on me, doctor Phil, check
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: in on men. I got a lot a lot of
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: people check in on me, man, make sure I'm okay.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I was reading his book because it's just I just
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: needed some more information and one of the things I
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: had learned from his book. But in the first chapter,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: the title of his chapters be a barrier Breaker, Be
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: a barrier Breaker, And throughout the book it just talks
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: about your surroundings, your environment. That because you're from a
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: family where ain't nobody never made it out, don't mean
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: that you have to not be one of that you
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: have to be one of those and not make it out.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Because you come from a hood that don't have a
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: whole lot of millionaires made from that hood, that don't
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: mean that you can't be a barrier breaker and be
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: one of the millionaires from the hood. Just because nobody
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: on your block ever went to college, don't mean you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: can't be the first one. Maybe nobody in your family
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: ever went to school, you're the first one. Maybe nobody
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: in your family ever became a supervisor at a post
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: office or the FedEx or UPS or anyplace else. Don't
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: mean that you can't. You can become a barrier breaker.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: But see what a lot of us do is we
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: get so immersed in our environment that we adapt to
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: our environment, and we must we act like this is it? Well,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: if God had wanted me to be rich, I'd have
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: been born rich. What what did you say? I heard
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: of guys say that if God had wanted me to
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: be rich, I would have been born rich. So let
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: me ask you something, brother, all these people that have
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: gone from poverty to riches, what was their excuse or
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: what mindset did they use to become a barrier breaker?
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: To break the barrier poverty to become well off. I
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: chose to be a barrier breaker. I knew what my
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: family was. I loved my family dearly and still do.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: But what my family had I didn't want as much
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: as I loved my mother and father. What my father
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: was and how hard I saw him work, I didn't
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: want that. I wanted something else. Now, do I appreciate
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the work as to keep put in me? Most certainly
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: do that. I appreciate the faith and the fear of
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: God that my mamma put in me. Oh, I most
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: certainly do. But I didn't want to be the ones
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: sitting at the church on the usher board. I didn't
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: want that. I didn't want to work as hard as
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: my father and make the same money as my father.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: I wanted to something else. I wanted to be a
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: barrier breaker. A barrier breaker. And one of the things
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: he talked about in the book is that so often
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: we led our environment and how we were raised, and
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: other people's expectation of us set limits in our life.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: He was saying that we adapt to what's around us.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: So what he said in the book I wanted to
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: share with you all. In the book, he said that
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: if you take an oak tree seed, the seed of
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: an oak tree, and you plant this seed from this
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: oak tree in a two foot pot, that oak tree
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: will never become what it was created to be. If
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: you leave it in that pot, not because there's something
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: wrong with the seed, but because of the environment is in.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Did you hear what I just said? There is nothing
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: wrong with you. The problem is your environment. If you
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: stay in the environment, you will never grown. But you
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: can choose to become a barrier breaker and get out
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: of any environment that you're in. You can escape poverty,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: you can escape the hood, you can escape bad thinking people,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: you can escape the dope game. You can become non
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: addicted to drugs. You can stop being an alcoholic. You
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: can stop with God's help. If you take an oak
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: tree seed and you plant it in a two foot pot,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: that tree will never become what it was created to
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: be if you leave it in the pot, not cause
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: that's something wrong with the seed, but because the environment
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: is in. You got to change your environment. You fine,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: you got to see you got everything you need to grow?
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: You did? Those are my clothing? Drop it, baby, drop it, yes, sir,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: get out of that environment. Man. For all Steve every
