- 2:03Speaker 1: A good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on now, dig me want and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:12Speaker 1: what radio show man? What you're doing with it? Trying
- 2:17Speaker 1: to do the very very best I can with it?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I really am. You know I get tired sometimes on
- 2:23Speaker 1: my journey. I'm not gonna kid you. UM. Trying to
- 2:28Speaker 1: make something about yourself is a task. UM. If you
- 2:33Speaker 1: want to attempt to do something and and and understand
- 2:38Speaker 1: going in that that. If the thing you're trying to
- 2:42Speaker 1: do is to improve yourself, to better your position, to
- 2:47Speaker 1: better your relationship, your family, anything, you're trying to be
- 2:52Speaker 1: a better you. You're trying to make more money, you're
- 2:56Speaker 1: trying to get it together, you're trying to change if
- 3:01Speaker 1: any of those things are in your hopes and dreams.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Know this right here, you are about to face some challenges.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But you might as well go ahead anyway and face
- 3:15Speaker 1: those challenges, because if you don't, you have a whole
- 3:19Speaker 1: other set of challenges to face. You know, it's a
- 3:22Speaker 1: it's a It's an amazing thing. Man, How people sit
- 3:25Speaker 1: around and they watch other people strike out to become successful.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They sit in the stands watching these people play out
- 3:33Speaker 1: these games, and they and they and they criticize, They boo,
- 3:38Speaker 1: they laugh at their efforts and everything, and they talk
- 3:41Speaker 1: about the fairies. He missed that game when it shot. Boy,
- 3:44Speaker 1: he sucked. Man, he did this. He ain't worth that.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I hear people who sit in stands who criticize people
- 3:54Speaker 1: who are out there on the playing field. Now, when
- 3:58Speaker 1: you're on the plane, feel you have a set of
- 4:02Speaker 1: challenges in front of you. You're going to be open
- 4:04Speaker 1: to criticism. You're going to be open to ridicule. You're
- 4:09Speaker 1: going to be talked about when you don't know the
- 4:12Speaker 1: people who are talking about you. Now, here's the upside
- 4:20Speaker 1: to being the player on the field that's facing all
- 4:23Speaker 1: the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing, the joke to being
- 4:27Speaker 1: talked about. He has something going for him. This person, boy, woman, child, girl,
- 4:36Speaker 1: man has an opportunity to win. They have an opportunity
- 4:44Speaker 1: to win. And then the game of life. Just because
- 4:49Speaker 1: you lose one of the games, or you lose one
- 4:52Speaker 1: of the matches, it don't mean you've lost. You don't
- 4:55Speaker 1: get put out. You keep playing. And when you playing,
- 5:01Speaker 1: here's the upside. You have the opportunity to win. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: but guess what, You're gonna win some of the matches.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You're gonna win some of the points. You're gonna make
- 5:09Speaker 1: some of the dunks. You're gonna hit some of them
- 5:11Speaker 1: over the wall. You're gonna hit some of them out
- 5:13Speaker 1: the park. You're gonna score some goals. You will if
- 5:18Speaker 1: you're playing the game. Here's the problem with the people
- 5:23Speaker 1: who don't face the criticism, who nobody boos or cheers for,
- 5:28Speaker 1: who sits in the stands and knows neither victory nor defeat.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Those people, without realizing it, are facing a set of
- 5:40Speaker 1: challenges also. And the challenges they're facing is how I'm
- 5:45Speaker 1: gonna live with myself? What I'm gonna do now? What
- 5:53Speaker 1: direction am I going in? Where am I gonna live?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Wonder what job will hire me, Wonder if I can
- 6:05Speaker 1: get paid for criticize. Oh woe is me? I can't
- 6:12Speaker 1: find the purpose in my life. And man, I'm just
- 6:17Speaker 1: waking up in a state of confusion. I don't know
- 6:19Speaker 1: what to do. Now, let me ask you something which
- 6:23Speaker 1: one of them said, of challenges you rather be faced with.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Because if I'm on the flow playing, if I'm on
- 6:29Speaker 1: the field playing, if I'm out on the court playing,
- 6:33Speaker 1: then guess what I got a chance at winning? But
- 6:37Speaker 1: guess what I'm doing every day while I'm playing. I'm strategizing.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'm waking up with a purpose. I'm waking up trying
- 6:44Speaker 1: to come up with another angle. I'm in pursuit of
- 6:48Speaker 1: a goal every single day. Versus the people in the
- 6:54Speaker 1: stands who know neither victory nor defeat. Get in the game.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Face the challenges. Better yourself, better your wife, better your children,
- 7:10Speaker 1: better your condition, better your employment status, better your job,
- 7:13Speaker 1: better your career. Take a shot. Come on, man, what
- 7:16Speaker 1: you're waiting on? Because the alternative is to watch other
- 7:21Speaker 1: people play the game? You know? And I just do
- 7:24Speaker 1: Sometimes Sometimes I just I get Forbes magazine or Money magazine,
- 7:29Speaker 1: or sometimes I still grab a copy of rob Report.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I just flipped through it just to see get I
- 7:36Speaker 1: used to get these this book called Unique Homes. Unique
- 7:40Speaker 1: Homes is a magazine that just has a lot of
- 7:42Speaker 1: extravagant houses that's on sale across the country, across the world.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I used to just flip through. Man, let me just see, man,
- 7:50Speaker 1: what the people that's playing the game out there doing.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Stop watching other people become successful when you could very
- 7:57Speaker 1: easily be you if you make the decision. But when
- 8:01Speaker 1: you make the decision to become successful, get ready for
- 8:05Speaker 1: a series of challenges. I think it's more difficult not
- 8:08Speaker 1: to accept the challenge. I think it's for me. This
- 8:13Speaker 1: is just for me. It may not be the case
- 8:15Speaker 1: for you. For me, I think it's far more difficult
- 8:17Speaker 1: to wake up and just see how life gonna go today,
- 8:20Speaker 1: because man, it could just deal you any kind of
- 8:22Speaker 1: hand today. You understand, I don't like, you know, spades.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Let's let's talk a card game, folks, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:34Speaker 1: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of
- 8:39Speaker 1: little strategies you've gotta do. But you can have all
- 8:41Speaker 1: this age, keen queen, diamond all you want, but man,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you ain't got no spades. They're cutting them. You're in trouble.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Be it whist. Different game. You can create what's in
- 8:51Speaker 1: your hand. You got dealt a hand too, But you
- 8:55Speaker 1: can create a hand. You can call a trump. You
- 8:57Speaker 1: can make diamonds your space age. You can make hard
- 9:01Speaker 1: to clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. That's what
- 9:03Speaker 1: it is. You can do something with it. It's a
- 9:05Speaker 1: different game, man, you can strategize. I would rather have
- 9:09Speaker 1: a say so in my life than to wake up
- 9:11Speaker 1: every day and just see how it's going. I think
- 9:13Speaker 1: it's more difficult to not accept the challenge to be
- 9:17Speaker 1: something than it is to accept the challenge to be something.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I think it's more difficult to sit around and not
- 9:23Speaker 1: be nothing. I think it's harder to watch everybody's life
- 9:26Speaker 1: going somewhere but mine. I think it would be very
- 9:29Speaker 1: difficult for me to sit here and hear them talking
- 9:31Speaker 1: about other people and never mentioned my name. I would
- 9:34Speaker 1: be difficult for me to see everybody rise and getting
- 9:37Speaker 1: promotions accept me. That would be difficult for me. It
- 9:41Speaker 1: may not be for you, but for me, it would
- 9:43Speaker 1: be quite challenging. I would rather accept the challenge of
- 9:46Speaker 1: making something out of my life than to sit there
- 9:49Speaker 1: and criticize those and then watch and see how my
- 9:52Speaker 1: life just may go. Okay, just a thought today you're listening,
- 10:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, man I have your attention please to
- 10:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Morning Show is in full effect. Steve Harvey

- 11:53Speaker 1: uh have been in meetings with me for two days, right,
- 11:56Speaker 1: two oldest sons. I'm walking to the bathroom and I
- 12:03Speaker 1: told my son, I said, hey, man, one of the
- 12:07Speaker 1: highlights of my life is to have my sons working
- 12:10Speaker 1: by my side. He said, Dad, we love working with you.
- 12:16Speaker 1: We're gonna get it together and help you carry some
- 12:18Speaker 1: of this. Oh. I said, man, what he said, We're
- 12:25Speaker 1: gonna get it together and help you carry some of this.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That's heart man, I said, cool man, oh man, Man.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Because they're at that age, well, they can pick up
- 12:36Speaker 1: and carry some of this load. You know what I'm saying.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You have great kids, your son, great man all day.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That was a highlight of my day, made my day.
- 12:46Speaker 1: That would have made mine too, Steve. So I completely, man,
- 12:49Speaker 1: We're gonna help you carry some of this. Man, Thank you?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Please so bad Well, I want to set this down
- 12:57Speaker 1: so bad, and I won't just rope around my throat.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I got to rope around my waist tied to my
- 13:06Speaker 1: throat and both my ankles, and I'm pulling this wagon
- 13:08Speaker 1: up here. I shall appreciate it. But isn't that every
- 13:12Speaker 1: father's dream though, for his son to um? I mean,
- 13:16Speaker 1: you know, father, that's that's about you know, doing it
- 13:19Speaker 1: is mine. But at the same time, you know, I
- 13:21Speaker 1: want them to have their own life and go their
- 13:24Speaker 1: own direction and cut their own path, you know. But
- 13:27Speaker 1: if your path coincides with the one your father's owned,
- 13:31Speaker 1: inn Wow, cool, greatness. All right, we'll coming up at
- 13:35Speaker 1: thirty two after the hour, we'll do our weekend review,
- 13:38Speaker 1: find out what everybody did over the weekend. That's coming
- 13:41Speaker 1: up at thirty two after right after this. You're listening,
- 13:47Speaker 1: all right, guys, So time now for weekend review. Um,

- 13:53Speaker 1: you did over the weekend. You can tell us more.
- 13:55Speaker 1: We got Tommy, we got Junior. All I did was
- 13:58Speaker 1: go see Sent the movie with Angelina Jolie. So what's
- 14:03Speaker 1: your name of Maleficent? What do that mean? It's another one? Yeah,
- 14:08Speaker 1: it's two. This one is I think Mistress of Evil
- 14:11Speaker 1: or something. You know, it's a sleeping beauty story style. Oh,
- 14:14Speaker 1: she got pricked in her finger and fell asleep and
- 14:16Speaker 1: the prince kiss woke her up, you know, a kiss
- 14:20Speaker 1: from the Prince. Oh it's like a Disney movie. Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 1: it's a little scary, especially for kids. But yeah, so
- 14:30Speaker 1: would you do finished talents for kids like that? No,
- 14:36Speaker 1: it's not animated. It's not animated like a toy story
- 14:40Speaker 1: or you know, one of the real like Frozen or
- 14:43Speaker 1: something like that. Oh, but it's a Disney movie though. Yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 1: it's h Angelina Jolie she's in It's Jamie Fox is
- 14:50Speaker 1: in it. No Angelina, Angelina Joe Lee just opened the door.
- 14:58Speaker 1: They said, Jamie Fox is That's why I got there.
- 15:02Speaker 1: He just gave me the highlight of my dame. And
- 15:06Speaker 1: then he turns right around and kills it. That damn
- 15:09Speaker 1: Jason just tame the Jordan said, Jamie Fox is in
- 15:13Speaker 1: the movie. So I say, Jamie Fox is in it,
- 15:15Speaker 1: and y'all going get that, this is who help my son?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Just trying to carry some of this. And then but
- 15:27Speaker 1: but he makes the announcement and walks out the radio
- 15:30Speaker 1: studio like he got he said something. Let me give
- 15:35Speaker 1: my daddy some information. You ain't carry it, you dropping.
- 15:42Speaker 1: But Jamie Fox is going to be in a movie
- 15:44Speaker 1: coming up. I think it's called Justice and Mercy or
- 15:47Speaker 1: something with Michael B. Jordans. Oh my god, awesome movie.
- 15:51Speaker 1: We don't want to miss for sure. We don't want to. Man.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. You don't want to miss him.
- 15:57Speaker 1: You ain't caught up. What that's that? Godfather whoa for
- 16:03Speaker 1: wit occurs. It's such the truth and everything he does.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But this right here though, that ain't on Netflix, though,
- 16:13Speaker 1: is it? Ye hooked up while I got Netflix. But
- 16:21Speaker 1: over here it's like, you know, they showed a Canelo
- 16:24Speaker 1: fight this show or everything. Man, I can't tell you
- 16:27Speaker 1: something I'm gonna do, and I'm gonna keep doing saying
- 16:29Speaker 1: it till I do it. I'm gonna organize a trip
- 16:33Speaker 1: to Africa for African Americans to come and experience what
- 16:38Speaker 1: I've grown to love. I want other Africa. I'm gonna
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna sponsor a trip. I'm not gonna make money
- 16:45Speaker 1: off of. It's not like an event. I'm just gonna
- 16:48Speaker 1: through the board of tourism. I'm just gonna make it
- 16:50Speaker 1: as economically feasible as I possibly can. And I'm gonna
- 16:54Speaker 1: visit three countries, and the three countries that I think
- 16:57Speaker 1: would have the most impact on African Americans if they
- 17:01Speaker 1: come and see it, because you can see the full
- 17:04Speaker 1: spectrum of Africa. And I think I'm working on that
- 17:06Speaker 1: right now. So stay tuned because when I come to
- 17:09Speaker 1: years will not be a money money may con venture
- 17:11Speaker 1: for me. It is. It is a gift. I want
- 17:15Speaker 1: to formulate a gift and I'm working with their tourism
- 17:17Speaker 1: boards over here to to make that happen. It's going
- 17:20Speaker 1: to be a really trip of a lifetime and I'm
- 17:23Speaker 1: gonna give you like over a year's notice, you know, okay,
- 17:27Speaker 1: so that people can put their money together. Yeah. Yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 1: And to get my mind right because you know, traveling
- 17:33Speaker 1: long distances in plane, well, surely you're not coming. I
- 17:46Speaker 1: have grown. We were back in the plane up one
- 17:53Speaker 1: time and then I heard I heard excuse me, and
- 18:01Speaker 1: then the plane pulled back up to the gate and
- 18:04Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me, Shirley. They had pull the plane
- 18:11Speaker 1: back up to the gate. Yeah, to let Shirley off. Yes,
- 18:17Speaker 1: what because she decided she just couldn't do it? Junior, Well,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I know that's not it now, Steve. I didn't just
- 18:24Speaker 1: make a decision like that, you know. I coustrophobia. I yeah,
- 18:29Speaker 1: really really badly, and especially in planes and in elevators
- 18:34Speaker 1: and stuff. And yeah, I had trouble flying for a
- 18:38Speaker 1: long time. But our job, you know, we had to
- 18:40Speaker 1: fly so much and travel so much for our job
- 18:42Speaker 1: until I had to get over it. I mean it
- 18:44Speaker 1: took a lot, you know, And I'm I've done very
- 18:48Speaker 1: well of late. It still bothers me from time to time,
- 18:51Speaker 1: but yeah, I mean, it's custrophobia, Steve. It's not like,
- 18:55Speaker 1: you know, I just made a decision. Flight thirty thirty
- 18:59Speaker 1: back at the gate. Do you guys watch the pull
- 19:05Speaker 1: back up to the gate? Oh that's right, Yeah, you know,
- 19:11Speaker 1: but it is hard. Yeah, when you're backing out and
- 19:14Speaker 1: all of a sudden you pull him back forth. But
- 19:16Speaker 1: we were backing up and turned. We're like bag straight
- 19:22Speaker 1: up and bag straight to the runway. Yeah. Do Yeah.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I had an anxiety attack. I was hyperventive. Man, Shirley
- 19:32Speaker 1: can't walk up past me. I went, what the heck?
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm not the only one a lot of people, Shirley,
- 19:43Speaker 1: But she ignoring the last time I flew coach Sharley.
- 19:51Speaker 1: But she gonna keep her eyes straight. She gonna keep
- 19:54Speaker 1: her eyes straight and just keep going. Buy all that
- 20:10Speaker 1: was years ago, years ago. Tom. She ain't saying nothing
- 20:13Speaker 1: to neither one of y'all. Big eye contact, don't me
- 20:17Speaker 1: And Tim is sitting there going what doing. I had
- 20:25Speaker 1: to get on, Hurley, you can't do that no more?
- 20:30Speaker 1: What you all shut That was prior. I know you
- 20:38Speaker 1: hear me, all right, listen, coming up, it is Monday.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Reverend Motown digging death jam in the building with church complaints.
- 20:51Speaker 1: That's coming up right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 20:55Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:58Speaker 1: Guys and Entertainment News, Kanye West and the news again
- 21:01Speaker 1: he is serious about running for president in twenty twenty four. Also,
- 21:06Speaker 1: Miss Anna's standing by. She's gonna get us cut up
- 21:08Speaker 1: on all today's Natural News. All of that happened back
- 21:10Speaker 1: from Jed Duty. Oh yeah, all of that happening at
- 21:14Speaker 1: the top of the hour. But right now it is Monday,
- 21:17Speaker 1: yes it is, And Reverend Motown taken death jam in
- 21:20Speaker 1: the building with today's church complaints got him. He would
- 21:27Speaker 1: go today as we gavel in this monument to us occasion,
- 21:40Speaker 1: we prospertarily wishing all almost men difficus times sat at
- 21:52Speaker 1: one almost men difficus times. Yes, sir, yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Just let's keep it moving all right. Where you don't
- 22:07Speaker 1: know is because of your education level holds it or
- 22:13Speaker 1: let's not expose it by questioning the aura talk all right,
- 22:21Speaker 1: everybody ain't got to know what you don't know. Let's
- 22:25Speaker 1: you say what you don't know? How now you said
- 22:29Speaker 1: something right that man? Oh that right? We are here
- 22:33Speaker 1: for church complaints. Let it begin alright, pastor, we have
- 22:37Speaker 1: an issue here. I brother Thaddeus Ratcliff, I got beat
- 22:42Speaker 1: up and Popeyes on Saturday night. He made it out
- 22:46Speaker 1: with two black eyes, a spring risk and a dislocated
- 22:50Speaker 1: hip and two chicken sandwiches. He wants the deacons to
- 22:55Speaker 1: go back with him to morrow and get revenged, but
- 22:57Speaker 1: the deacons are afraid the road with him. He won't
- 23:00Speaker 1: you to make the deacon's goal. That's your call, now,
- 23:04Speaker 1: that's your cow. Well, it depends on what deacon he
- 23:13Speaker 1: wants to you. Now that's true. Oh, brother, brother Demo
- 23:22Speaker 1: is the deacon I record man, because Demo need to
- 23:26Speaker 1: be more of a Christian and he ain't Brother Demo,
- 23:33Speaker 1: so I would see Brother Demo down now, m and
- 23:38Speaker 1: brother oh wik softless wick softless because they called him
- 23:46Speaker 1: that because every time he tried to punch you, he
- 23:48Speaker 1: tried to punch you into the esophagus. I think you
- 23:54Speaker 1: take him through down there, get all the revenge he
- 23:57Speaker 1: won't you can get. You take them to that, I understand. Uh, now,
- 24:03Speaker 1: help me with this pass. But the cheating Ministry is
- 24:06Speaker 1: having a seminar on how to punch yourself in the
- 24:10Speaker 1: eye and damage your retina so it can't be used
- 24:14Speaker 1: to open your iPhone while you are sleep, all right?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Do that? They want the church to cover the insurance
- 24:20Speaker 1: on this seminar. That's your cow pass. Well, we're not
- 24:24Speaker 1: doing that, Deacon M. If you're using face recognition to
- 24:30Speaker 1: open your phone, yeah, yeah, and your wife is using
- 24:35Speaker 1: it on you while you are asleep. We do not
- 24:38Speaker 1: recommend punching yourself each night to disfigure yourself so she
- 24:47Speaker 1: can't open your phone while you sleep. We're going through
- 24:50Speaker 1: far to church now right then to stop punching yourself
- 25:01Speaker 1: into the face that night so your face recognition, don't
- 25:05Speaker 1: you ye? Well? And he is the cheating ministry path.
- 25:10Speaker 1: They just some things they're working with, that's all I'm saying.
- 25:12Speaker 1: They just bringing it to you. Here's another ministry. The
- 25:16Speaker 1: ugly ministry says Halloween is only one day out of
- 25:20Speaker 1: the year, and they don't get the feel that they
- 25:22Speaker 1: get to feel good. They want another day. The Ugly
- 25:25Speaker 1: March is scheduled for this coming Saturday. Your call on
- 25:30Speaker 1: spotlighting another day for them? Pastor Well, if the ugly
- 25:35Speaker 1: ministry it's sad because Halloween is only one day. Let's
- 25:41Speaker 1: see we could you do? WHOA, what's a good day? Man?
- 25:48Speaker 1: Presidente Day might be a good day for none of
- 25:53Speaker 1: them old white men? Is cute, It's true. Ask people
- 25:59Speaker 1: on the money. I'll tell you that. Even on the quarter,
- 26:03Speaker 1: you gotta go with them. Who yeah, uh, what about
- 26:11Speaker 1: Columbus Day passed because we squeeze him in now? No,
- 26:14Speaker 1: so Columbus Day? Du well, you Colombus Day because why
- 26:18Speaker 1: he got a day an wait for doing something he
- 26:21Speaker 1: didn't do that. Yeah, maybe that's a good day for
- 26:24Speaker 1: ugly people. You ugly wouldn't buy your doing discover your
- 26:28Speaker 1: ugly Yeah yeah, all right, Well, I let you figure
- 26:33Speaker 1: out what day we're gonna give them, but I let
- 26:35Speaker 1: them know we're gonna give him another day other than Halloween.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Let's keep it moving. I mister Dumas and Rachel Bailey
- 26:43Speaker 1: accidentally woe each other's wigs yesterday. The trades he had
- 26:47Speaker 1: on hug wig and see it had on his two
- 26:49Speaker 1: pay The congregation laughed at them yesterday. And they're asking
- 26:55Speaker 1: the church to pay their light because they can't see
- 26:57Speaker 1: when they getting dressed in the morning. The dumbest complained,
- 27:09Speaker 1: I saw him at service and one had the wig on,
- 27:12Speaker 1: the other had the two pay on. You know. The
- 27:15Speaker 1: strangest thing though, or digon mm hmm. I was perfectly
- 27:21Speaker 1: fine with him. I couldn't tell the difference, okay, you
- 27:29Speaker 1: you you when that woman with that two pay on,
- 27:32Speaker 1: you couldn't tell the difference she. I thought he was
- 27:37Speaker 1: hurt and hut with him. But he had a He
- 27:44Speaker 1: got a mustache in the bed, pasted it and had it.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I don't know how you didn't hold on the deacon.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Only if you look close, she does have facial hall.
- 28:00Speaker 1: It ain't that dog in there. You can't feel mother,
- 28:05Speaker 1: all right, pastor brace yourself and this one now they
- 28:10Speaker 1: don't mean no hum, brother, take and brother Malice Yoba
- 28:13Speaker 1: are shooting a movie called It Was Just That Once. Uh.
- 28:17Speaker 1: They are asking, they are asking for the church to
- 28:23Speaker 1: how to throw the pre me a party. That's on
- 28:25Speaker 1: you pass if you want to do it. And now
- 28:34Speaker 1: you ain't for bringing that in. I'm gonna say no. Coom,
- 28:43Speaker 1: that's best entertainment and national news right after the things
- 28:57Speaker 1: out passing sings out. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 29:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, So in today's trending entertainment news,
- 29:11Speaker 1: Kanye West is at it again. He has revealed his
- 29:14Speaker 1: plans to change his name and run for president. At
- 29:20Speaker 1: an annual innovation festival, Kanye made a surprise appearance on
- 29:23Speaker 1: a panel discussion with a head designer of Yeasy footwear.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Kanye declared, quote, Yeasy is the Apple of apparel. Get
- 29:33Speaker 1: it as an Apple product and things like that. Okay, Kanye,
- 29:37Speaker 1: what was that? Jay? Kanye? Check this out. Though Kanye
- 29:42Speaker 1: did take offense when the crowd laughed at his political
- 29:46Speaker 1: ambitions quote Kanye said, when I run for president in
- 29:50Speaker 1: two twenty twenty four, and I witness reported that the
- 29:55Speaker 1: audience went silent after Kanye shot back, what y'all laughing
- 29:59Speaker 1: at we want Kanye as president. We want Trump as president.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Well you know, no, we don't, Okay, Doe, We're making
- 30:09Speaker 1: his case almost for him. You know, he see Kanye
- 30:13Speaker 1: do something great, like the church stuff, and then the
- 30:16Speaker 1: next statement, you hear him doing something. What the hell?
- 30:18Speaker 1: It's just she's not consistent. Yeah, yeah, it's I think
- 30:23Speaker 1: it's consistently inconsistently consistent one or the other. You do
- 30:28Speaker 1: something great, then go sit with Trump right and call
- 30:32Speaker 1: it daddy, and where the hurt? And yeah. So anyways,
- 30:37Speaker 1: so Kanye said, when I run for president in twenty
- 30:40Speaker 1: twenty four, uh, and then the audience started laughing, and
- 30:44Speaker 1: Kanye was like, what y'all laughing at? He then glared
- 30:47Speaker 1: at the crowd for an uncomfortably long period of time.
- 30:51Speaker 1: When Kanye runs for president in twenty twenty four, his
- 30:54Speaker 1: new legal name name may not even fit on the ballot.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Kanye believes he's the greatest artist of human existence. So
- 31:02Speaker 1: to go along with that confidence, Wait a minute, wait
- 31:05Speaker 1: for it, He's considered legally changing his name too. You
- 31:09Speaker 1: guys ready for this one. Christian genius billionaire Kanye West,
- 31:17Speaker 1: drop the mine, Christian Jenius billion Kanye West, Kanye that
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm not clicking my vote for that. And that ain't Kanye,
- 31:30Speaker 1: that's Joel Ostein. What the hell is he doing? Back?
- 31:35Speaker 1: This is my bible? But hold on, yes, Steve, you
- 31:40Speaker 1: say when he said that and said, who y'all laughing
- 31:43Speaker 1: at then Kanye glass at the crowd for an what
- 31:46Speaker 1: ain't we had just been too glad? And yeah, I'm
- 31:50Speaker 1: staring right back at you. I know how to look
- 31:53Speaker 1: back at you. I put my right here on my
- 31:56Speaker 1: right shoulder and be looking dad at you. Yeah, was
- 32:04Speaker 1: exactly Steve, but it said for an uncomfortable His name
- 32:09Speaker 1: is Chris Christian billionaires genius billionaire Kanye West. So all
- 32:18Speaker 1: that when he runs in twenty four, if he runs,
- 32:21Speaker 1: that will be on the battle so you that's his
- 32:23Speaker 1: new name. He's considering changing his name. But you want
- 32:27Speaker 1: me to vote for you while you put your money
- 32:29Speaker 1: in my face? Can you stick fooling a something? Kristenius
- 32:36Speaker 1: billionaire West? All right? Uh, Steve? Time time for today.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Trump is like the father I never had. Trump. Don't
- 32:48Speaker 1: wan't no black kids take us to Oh you talking
- 32:57Speaker 1: about Trump is like the father I never You don't
- 33:01Speaker 1: want no black kid? Keep being the wall up to
- 33:04Speaker 1: keep the Latino kids out away from their parents. Yeah, gentlemen,
- 33:12Speaker 1: she's here and trip okay, following that, all right, this
- 33:17Speaker 1: is a trip with the news, everybody. The first public
- 33:19Speaker 1: testimony in the impeachment and Korean too, President Trump's actions
- 33:22Speaker 1: begins this week on Wednesday, actually, but Intelligence Committee Chairman
- 33:26Speaker 1: Adam Schiff says he's not going to let the hearings
- 33:28Speaker 1: serve as a way to conduct sham investigations into the
- 33:31Speaker 1: bidens or the twenty sixteen election. Nor will he let
- 33:34Speaker 1: the hearings, he says, help what is Trump's effort to threaten, intimidate,
- 33:38Speaker 1: and retaliate against the whistle blower. The Supreme Courts schedule
- 33:42Speaker 1: to hear arguments this week on the Trump administration's plans
- 33:44Speaker 1: to get rid of the DOCCA program, talking about keeping
- 33:47Speaker 1: Latinos out of the country or putting them out. DACA
- 33:50Speaker 1: stands for a Deferred Action for childhood arrivals. It's the
- 33:53Speaker 1: Obama era program that protects the thousands of people brought
- 33:57Speaker 1: here illegally but through really no fault of their owners. Children,
- 34:00Speaker 1: they brought here by their parents. The Trump administration argues
- 34:03Speaker 1: that the former President Obama did not have the authority
- 34:06Speaker 1: to create the program by executive order. So far, Donald
- 34:09Speaker 1: Trump's efforts to get rid of the program, though, have
- 34:11Speaker 1: been stopped by the lower courts. In Texas, lawmakers as
- 34:14Speaker 1: well as celebrities appealing to Governor Gregor Abbott to halt
- 34:18Speaker 1: the execution of an inmate named Rodney Reid. Reid is black.
- 34:21Speaker 1: He was convicted by an all white jury of the
- 34:24Speaker 1: rape and murder of a white woman named Stacey Stitz
- 34:26Speaker 1: back in nineteen ninety six. Now, coorting to news reports,
- 34:29Speaker 1: most of Stei's family do think Rodney is guilty. However,
- 34:33Speaker 1: at least one of Stei's family members said that's not true.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I'm not the only one. There's a group of about
- 34:37Speaker 1: twelve family members that have joined together written a letter
- 34:41Speaker 1: to the governor. The original person of interest was Stacey
- 34:44Speaker 1: Stits fiance, a white X cop who's currently in prison.
- 34:47Speaker 1: His name is Jimmy Fennel. Fellow reportedly told people that
- 34:51Speaker 1: he was livid about Misstits cheating on him with a
- 34:53Speaker 1: black guy, and that she deserved what she got. Rodney
- 34:56Speaker 1: Reid says he was dating miss Steits and did not
- 34:59Speaker 1: kill her. The father of black pre med student to
- 35:02Speaker 1: shot and killed by that white cop in fort Worth
- 35:04Speaker 1: during supposed wellness check. The father has died. Marquis Jefferson
- 35:08Speaker 1: suffered a heart attack and died Saturday night. He was
- 35:11Speaker 1: only fifty nine years old. His only child was twenty
- 35:13Speaker 1: eight year old a Tatiana Jefferson, who was shot to
- 35:16Speaker 1: death last month inside her fort Worth home while playing
- 35:19Speaker 1: video games with her nephew. The white cop who killed her,
- 35:22Speaker 1: Aaron Deane, never identified himself as an officer of the
- 35:25Speaker 1: law before he burst into the apartment and then shot
- 35:28Speaker 1: her through a window on the back. He resigned from
- 35:31Speaker 1: the force before he could be fired. And this is
- 35:33Speaker 1: Veterans Day weekend Tops of the box Office. Appropriately Enough
- 35:37Speaker 1: was a movie based on the bombing of Pearl Harbor
- 35:39Speaker 1: and the Battle of Midway during World War Two. Pearl
- 35:42Speaker 1: Harbor is the greatest intelligence failure in American history. The
- 35:47Speaker 1: Japanese are playing something bigger. What's the card? We believe
- 35:51Speaker 1: it's Midway. Midway made seventeen and a half million dollars.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 35:58Speaker 1: moning show. All right, Steve, So today it's Veterans Day.
- 36:02Speaker 1: We want to say happy Veterans Day to all of
- 36:04Speaker 1: our veterans out there, and surely can I say something
- 36:08Speaker 1: to them in a specified yes, today, surely I like
- 36:13Speaker 1: to really salute to veterans, you know, I want to
- 36:16Speaker 1: say something special for them, because it's called service. What
- 36:18Speaker 1: they do, these people who go down here in voluntarily.
- 36:21Speaker 1: There's no draft. These people volunteer to provide service, and
- 36:26Speaker 1: sometimes just sometimes that means war. W a h war,
- 36:33Speaker 1: real war, y'all. This ain't the kind that you play
- 36:36Speaker 1: with video games. This ain't This ain't some kind that
- 36:40Speaker 1: you play with a handful of tokens. You ain't sitting
- 36:43Speaker 1: with an Xbox on the edge of the couch eating
- 36:46Speaker 1: a bowl of popcorn. It's real war that these people
- 36:49Speaker 1: are faced with oftentimes and real life. So to the
- 36:53Speaker 1: men and women of all racist creeds, colors and sex
- 36:58Speaker 1: who have served our country. Well, we salute y'all on
- 37:02Speaker 1: this Veteran's Day, because, let's face it, we can't all
- 37:07Speaker 1: stay home because of bon spurs. Mhm huh ps. It's okay.
- 37:17Speaker 1: If you're uniformed is a little tight, what what? Thank y'all?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Thank yall. Some time uniform get a little tight, but
- 37:29Speaker 1: we still love you. We don't care. Thank yeah, you
- 37:33Speaker 1: a veteran, don't worry about the spurs. Yeah yeah, I
- 37:41Speaker 1: mean yeah, yeah. But you know what, not only did
- 37:47Speaker 1: he not go, his daddy didn't go. He didn't go.
- 37:50Speaker 1: None of his boys went. And I'm pretty sure none
- 37:53Speaker 1: of his boys boys are gonna not a nail one. Yeah,
- 37:58Speaker 1: he will salute in a minute. Whoop, yeah, oh and
- 38:01Speaker 1: a heartbeat. Heed. His country won't pay no taxes to it. No, no,
- 38:10Speaker 1: he lured, his country will not make his fair contribution
- 38:14Speaker 1: to it. But to our real veterans out there, again,
- 38:21Speaker 1: we thank you for your service. Yes, all right. So
- 38:26Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four after the hour, guys, Oprah
- 38:29Speaker 1: and Beyonce are the latest celebrities to pressure Texas Governor
- 38:34Speaker 1: Greg Abbott to grant the death row inmate Rotbey Rotney
- 38:37Speaker 1: Read a stay of execution. We'll talk about it right
- 38:40Speaker 1: after this. You're listening well. Beyonce has signed and shared
- 38:46Speaker 1: a change dot org petition on her website in support
- 38:50Speaker 1: of Rotney Read and to prevent his execution. Beyonce urges
- 38:56Speaker 1: the governor to take a hard look at a substantial
- 38:59Speaker 1: evidence in the right Read case that points to his
- 39:02Speaker 1: innocence now, be honest, be fair, She says, give him
- 39:05Speaker 1: back his life. Oprah Winfrey is speaking out about the
- 39:09Speaker 1: Rodney Red death row case in Texas. Recently on CBS
- 39:12Speaker 1: this morning. While talking to her friend Gail King, Oprah
- 39:16Speaker 1: urged the Texas Governor Greg Abbott to take a pause
- 39:19Speaker 1: on the execution scheduled four very very soon November twentieth.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Take a listen. I think at least the governor has
- 39:27Speaker 1: to pause and look at the two million people who
- 39:31Speaker 1: have signed a petition. That's two million voices saying listen
- 39:35Speaker 1: to us, something's off here, something needs to be done.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Watching hello. I think this is this is a sign
- 39:42Speaker 1: you're supposed to at least not execute. But other celebrities
- 39:50Speaker 1: like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna Meek, mil Yaashihidi, lawmakers, they're all
- 39:55Speaker 1: calling for the conviction to be overturned. More than two
- 39:59Speaker 1: million people. Yes, here's the troubling part of this. Why
- 40:06Speaker 1: why is it that we have to beg and plead
- 40:10Speaker 1: for somebody not to kill a person when there's obvious
- 40:14Speaker 1: evidence that can prove his innocence. We have to have
- 40:19Speaker 1: a system where since DNA is now at a level
- 40:23Speaker 1: that it wasn't at doing a lot of these convictions.
- 40:28Speaker 1: And when you hear these people talking about there's new
- 40:30Speaker 1: DNA evidence, it should be automatically, yeah, taken off death
- 40:36Speaker 1: row and given a chance to see what the evidence is.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Too many times, yea, too many times person is innocent.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You can't imagine that people have died for no reason
- 40:49Speaker 1: prior to this. Now that have there been people guilty
- 40:51Speaker 1: on death row? Of course, but if there is evidence
- 40:54Speaker 1: that says he's not, what are we talking about here?
- 40:58Speaker 1: We shouldn't have to beg for this. How many people
- 41:00Speaker 1: are involved? You know, it's but it's amazing, though. It's
- 41:04Speaker 1: amazing how the average person can watch a video of
- 41:08Speaker 1: child of police brutality, can watch a video of an
- 41:12Speaker 1: unarmed man being shot and we see cut and dry evidence. Oh,
- 41:16Speaker 1: he shot him, that's it, that's conviction, and they walk free. Yep.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yet them not to kill somebody, They don't kill somebody,
- 41:29Speaker 1: and nothing happens, I mean nothing at all. Yeah. Nothing.
- 41:34Speaker 1: You can't beg him not to kill You can't beg
- 41:36Speaker 1: him to stay live. I can't breathe, I can't breathe,
- 41:40Speaker 1: and you choke him to death. How much harder do
- 41:44Speaker 1: you have to choke a person. You got him on
- 41:46Speaker 1: the ground. Yeah, all these cops standing around that was unnecessary.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And he won't his job back. Yeah. Yeah, came out
- 41:57Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago. You're right, he's asking for
- 41:59Speaker 1: it back. What well? Wow, all right, So more than
- 42:04Speaker 1: two million people have already signed this petition. Rodney Reid
- 42:07Speaker 1: was convicted of raping and killing nineteen year old Stacy
- 42:11Speaker 1: States back in nineteen ninety six. Reid said they were
- 42:14Speaker 1: in a consensual relationship and maintains his innocence. Meanwhile, State's
- 42:19Speaker 1: fiance allegedly confessed to another inmate when he was in
- 42:23Speaker 1: prison for an unrelated crime, but retracted the confession. So
- 42:28Speaker 1: he did. What is the governor saying? Service, Well, the
- 42:32Speaker 1: governor right now isn't saying anything. I mean, you know,
- 42:35Speaker 1: he's not saying anything. So he hasn't until November twentieth,
- 42:41Speaker 1: you know, I mean, this is just one of another
- 42:44Speaker 1: horrible case that Steve was talking well itself, we hope
- 42:47Speaker 1: that to look at it and truth of the matter
- 42:50Speaker 1: being to overturn this is to also remove a victory
- 42:56Speaker 1: from a prosecutor set. Wow, and they don't want to
- 42:59Speaker 1: turn it back in brother, then you'd have to admit
- 43:03Speaker 1: that we were wrong and made a mistake. Yeah, it's
- 43:06Speaker 1: just a life. So so let him be executed and
- 43:11Speaker 1: keep the books as this crazy. That's crazy. That's what
- 43:16Speaker 1: this judicial system is. If you think it's different, it's not. Yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: all right. You can post your comments on Instagram and Facebook.
- 43:24Speaker 1: On Steve Harvey FM dot com. Coming up, switching gears.
- 43:29Speaker 1: We're going to switch gears here. Nephew Tommy in the
- 43:31Speaker 1: building with the prank phone call of the day that's
- 43:33Speaker 1: coming up after this you're listening to show coming up

- 43:45Speaker 1: It's my Strawberry letter forward today. The subject is I
- 43:49Speaker 1: need more than hugging and hunching. Okay, right, yeah, right now.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Not worse than hunch is like grinding. Yeah that's all right,
- 44:12Speaker 1: all right, but right now the nephew in the building, Uh,

- 53:18Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject. I need more than
- 53:22Speaker 1: hugging and hunching. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am engaged to
- 53:27Speaker 1: a sixty three year old man that acts a lot
- 53:30Speaker 1: older than he is. His thoughts on sex and life
- 53:34Speaker 1: in general shock me, and I need some advice. I'm
- 53:37Speaker 1: only fifty nine years old and I still enjoy sex,
- 53:40Speaker 1: and I have tried to be patient with my man.
- 53:42Speaker 1: He thinks I'm a freak because I try to initiate
- 53:45Speaker 1: sex daily. He likes to grind and do a lot
- 53:48Speaker 1: of kissing, but we rarely go all the way. I
- 53:53Speaker 1: like to take care of him in other ways, if
- 53:55Speaker 1: you know what I mean, But when it comes to me,
- 53:57Speaker 1: he says that his mouth is designed to eat food
- 54:00Speaker 1: and nothing else. He won't even kiss around it. I'm
- 54:03Speaker 1: in love with this man and I am looking forward
- 54:06Speaker 1: to a lifetime with him, but I am going to
- 54:08Speaker 1: need sex often. He says demeaning things to me when
- 54:12Speaker 1: I try to get him to be freaky with me,
- 54:14Speaker 1: so I've stopped him from hunting on me or rubbing
- 54:17Speaker 1: on me In the bedroom, I just lie there and
- 54:19Speaker 1: wait for him to go to sleep so I can
- 54:21Speaker 1: handle my business by myself. I am letting you all
- 54:24Speaker 1: know that I feel like cheating on this guy, and
- 54:26Speaker 1: I have my ex on standby just in case. I
- 54:30Speaker 1: have asked my man why he proposed to me, and
- 54:32Speaker 1: he said he loves me and he wants to show
- 54:35Speaker 1: me that there's a lot more to a great marriage
- 54:37Speaker 1: than just sex. It's not that he can't perform, because
- 54:41Speaker 1: he is always ready, he just doesn't want to do
- 54:44Speaker 1: the do So should I follow my man's lead and
- 54:47Speaker 1: stop pressuring him for sex. I'm afraid he may never
- 54:50Speaker 1: change his ways and I may end up in a
- 54:52Speaker 1: sexless marriage. I'm not getting any younger, So should I
- 54:56Speaker 1: marry him or move on and find myself in a
- 54:58Speaker 1: more compatible find myself a more compatible mate. Yeah, I
- 55:03Speaker 1: think you need to find yourself a more compatible mate.
- 55:06Speaker 1: You and this guy don't add up sexually and you
- 55:10Speaker 1: may end up in a sexless marriage. The good thing
- 55:14Speaker 1: about this is that you know this before you're married.
- 55:18Speaker 1: You you've found this out before you got married. Yeah,
- 55:22Speaker 1: he may never change his ways, and we as women
- 55:24Speaker 1: always want the man to change. But it doesn't look
- 55:26Speaker 1: like he's going to change. And you know he wants
- 55:31Speaker 1: to show you. He's already told you that a great
- 55:34Speaker 1: marriage can mean more than just sex. And that's not
- 55:37Speaker 1: what you're looking for. That is not what you're looking for.
- 55:39Speaker 1: So be clear. All the red flags are here. He's
- 55:43Speaker 1: sixty three, you're fifty nine. You try to initiate sex
- 55:47Speaker 1: daily at fifty nine, he's sixty three. You said he
- 55:50Speaker 1: acts a lot older. That's not gonna happen, So listen,
- 55:55Speaker 1: and yes, stop pressuring him, Please stop pressuring him. No
- 55:58Speaker 1: one wants to feel pressured. No one wants to be pressured.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I think if you, if you get with this man,
- 56:05Speaker 1: if you marry him, you'll be settling, and you shouldn't settle. Steve, well, well, well,
- 56:11Speaker 1: I need more than hugging and hunching. She's engaged to
- 56:17Speaker 1: a sixty three ye old man and asks a lot
- 56:19Speaker 1: older than he is. Okay, his thoughts on sex in
- 56:25Speaker 1: life in general shock me and I need some advice. Now.
- 56:29Speaker 1: She fifty nine years old, she still enjoys sex and
- 56:33Speaker 1: has tried to be patient with her man, and the
- 56:36Speaker 1: man thinks because she tries to initiate sex daily, she's
- 56:41Speaker 1: a freak. He likes to grind and do a lot
- 56:45Speaker 1: of kissing. Okay, that's good, that's full play. But we
- 56:50Speaker 1: rarely go all the way full play with no payoff.
- 56:57Speaker 1: It's what we're talking about. Now. I get you all
- 57:01Speaker 1: worked up for no damn reason at all. I like
- 57:06Speaker 1: to take care of him in other ways, if you
- 57:08Speaker 1: know what I mean. No, we don't know what you mean.
- 57:10Speaker 1: You're fifty nine, gonna type it? Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I like to take care of him in other words,
- 57:20Speaker 1: if you know what I mean? Game? What what I like?
- 57:24Speaker 1: Take care of him in other ways? If you know
- 57:26Speaker 1: what I mean. But when it comes to me, he
- 57:29Speaker 1: says that, he said, when it comes to me, he said,
- 57:37Speaker 1: his mouth is designed to eat food and nothing else.
- 57:46Speaker 1: He won't even kiss around me. She's pretty explicit without
- 57:54Speaker 1: saying it. She pretty much I'm gonna have some thoughts
- 58:00Speaker 1: you might want to get out of me. Ladies, that
- 58:02Speaker 1: I don't think you want my answering. Now, I'm in
- 58:07Speaker 1: love with this man, looking for a lifetime, but I'm
- 58:09Speaker 1: going to need some sex often he says the meaning
- 58:11Speaker 1: things to me when I to try to get in
- 58:13Speaker 1: to be freaking. So I just stop him from hunching
- 58:16Speaker 1: on me and rubbing on me in the bedroom. I
- 58:18Speaker 1: just lay that way through him go sleeps like hind
- 58:20Speaker 1: of my business by myself. I'm letting y'all know I
- 58:23Speaker 1: feel like cheating on this guy. See here we go. Now,
- 58:25Speaker 1: this is what the letter really about. Y'all doubt all
- 58:28Speaker 1: that was a set up for this. Hell, I'm letting
- 58:30Speaker 1: you all know right now, I feel like cheating on
- 58:34Speaker 1: this guy. This is what the letter is about. We
- 58:40Speaker 1: can't help you. We ain't got no suggestions for you.
- 58:45Speaker 1: We don't know what's wrong with him. Who the hell
- 58:48Speaker 1: like the hunch all this hard kissing and hunching. Why,
- 58:57Speaker 1: I'm letting y'all know I feel like cheating on. It's
- 59:00Speaker 1: got and I have my X on stand by. Justin, Kate,
- 59:04Speaker 1: this relationship is over. You got your X on standby? Why?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Because he beat Jack Johnson? What? Because he the dude
- 59:16Speaker 1: and all? Yeah, yeah, Yeah, I'm just asking her what
- 59:27Speaker 1: the problem is. Yeah, all right, when I come back,
- 59:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you what the problem is. All right. We'll
- 59:33Speaker 1: have part two of Steve's response coming up in twenty
- 59:36Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letters subject. I
- 59:39Speaker 1: need more than hugging and hunching. That's coming up right
- 59:43Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, come on,
- 59:48Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. I need more than hugging
- 59:52Speaker 1: and hunching. We're just gonna get to it. I need
- 59:54Speaker 1: more than hug in the huntred sixty three year old
- 59:56Speaker 1: lady man to this man act older than he is.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: His thoughts on sex in life in general have shocked me.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I need some advice to grind and do a lot
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: of kissing, but we rarely, rarely go all the way.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I like to take care of him in other words,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: if you know what I mean, when it comes to me,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: he said his mouth and designed to eat food and
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: nothing else. He won't even kiss around it, around it. Now,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: let's think about this. You got a man that won't
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: have sex and go all the way, and you got
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: a man that won't even kiss around it. Okay, what's
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: wrong with it? Hell? Yeah, yeah, go ahead? No no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: it's real. You don't hear it. This is real. Here's
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a man that liked to kiss and hug and grind
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: a lot. You take care of him in other words,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: in other ways, if you know what I mean. But
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: when it comes to me, he say his mouth is
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: design to eat food and nothing. Now he won't even
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: kiss around it. What's wrong with it? It was wrong
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: with it? I'm not because Shelly, Shelly, you listen to me.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I'm he says the meaning things to me when I
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: try to be freaking No, I want you to hear
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: what I said. See, Shelly, I'm gonna tell you something.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I just lie a way for him and go sleep
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: so I can handle my bears myself. I'm letting y'all
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: know I feel like cheating on this guy, and I
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: have my ex on stand by justin k you gotta X.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Why is he your ex? Question? Yea? What is wrong
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: with it? Why does this? Yeah? It doesn't say she
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: keeps getting exes? No, it says she got an X
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: on stand by. Everybody shoot him X? What's wrong with it? Question?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Listen to me, Sirley, you listen to me, listen to me,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: but I don't. He can listen to me. I don't
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: because you're not listening. I'm listening. I asked my man
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: why he proposed me, and he said he loves me
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: and he wants to show me that there's a lot
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: more to a great marriage than just sex. And I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: listened to this line, Shirley. It's not that he can't
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: perform because he is always ready, he just don't want
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: to do the dude. So Shelly, this other stuff she
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: doing to him that lets her know he's always ready,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: but he don't want to do the dude makes me
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: ponder the question, what's wrong with it? Something wrong with it?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: You all are not gonna yeah, her fault. I'm sorry.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I don't faulty. I'm not saying it's her fault.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I'm just asking what's wrong with it? I'm wrong with it?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Couldn't be a problem, there's nothing. He's a man that
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: stay ready all the time, but he don't want to
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: go all the way kissing around it. Here's a man
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: that won't even kiss around it. Yeah, what's wrong with now?
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I have some theories, albeit wrong theories, because you know,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Just because you are all agreed doesn't make you all right. Okay,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I disagree. I'm not mad. I'm not mad when more
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: than one is gathered together. Come on my name, come on,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: come on with any time a man, Shirley, something wrong
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: with it? No? No, why, Shirley, Why is there's something
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: wrong with it? Always No, he's always ready, so she
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: don't want to go all the way and then what
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: she wants something else. He won't even kiss around. He's
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: not into that. He's just not into that thing. He's
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: not into that. He's just not into it. He don't
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: want her to take he don't want her to do that.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: What's wrong with it? He likes to kiss and all that.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: He's just not into that all. That's what clothes on
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: hunching anyway. But he into the other thing, Shirley. He's
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: into the other thing. Well, most men are when it's
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: being done to them, right, we all have to agree
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: with that. I'm not okay, killed yeah, oh lord Jesus,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, we have at all believe you guys, we
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: have all up in world where someone roll with the
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: front door. What is that now? Anyway? You can post
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: your comments if you agree with Steve and the rest
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: of uh, this elementary bunch we have in this room.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: You don't have to agree with I don't care. Just
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: type in camp us anyway, or you could post your
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook, and don't forget to check out the
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast. All right, guys, coming up at forty
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: six after the hour, we'll do a little comedy roulette
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: with the fellas right after this you're listening to. All right, guys,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: it is time for comedy roulette on this Monday, this
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Veteran's day. Um, let's get it. Let's go, guys. It's
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: very simple. You take three subjects. You put those three
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: subjects on the wheel, spun the wheel where it stop.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: We'll make it funny because that's what we do. Put
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: a minute. All right, here we go. Things you say
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: when your baby mama calls asking for money again? Uh,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Number two excuses people make not to chip in on
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: gas money when you're on a road trip. Here's the
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: last one. All right. Reasons you give to not look
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: a person in the eye. All right, all right, spun it,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: spun it. Give me the gas sipping on the gas.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Let's do that thing. Reasons you give to not look
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: a person in the eye. Reason I can tell you
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: right now why sometimes you can't look a person out.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: You know how people wear them glasses and they win
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: them tight on their face and to be sweat down
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: in the lands. You can't look get that. You can't
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: look at that. It'd be swept down at the bottom
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: look at that. We can't do it. It'd be all
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: sweaty in the list. I can't look down when I
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: tell you, yeah, I'll tell you another why you can't
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: look at people in the eye. Because it's missing. That's
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: why I can't look you in the eye, because the hell,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: let's go what hell I can't see I don't know
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: why if it's missing, I'll tell you why you can't
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: look somebody in the eye. We just got through having hard, hard,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: steaming sex. I really can't look at you now. I
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: can't just what we just did for real, what we
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: just did. You can't make no one contact. We're talking
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: about the reason why you can't look a person in
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: the eye. Cast a breath steak. If I'm looking in
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: your eyes, that means my head is up. And this
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: is too much reason you can't look a person in
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: the app but because for some reason you thought it
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: would be cool to shave off your eyebris and drawing
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: them all up toward your boy here. Yeah, I'll tell
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: you what he has. Another reite came the people in
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: the eye because when you're sitting in a corner by
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: yourself and want nobody talk to you, that's because there's
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: a strong body older coming director you ain't nobody for
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: to look at you. All right, Well, thank you guys
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: for two day's Merchant of Comedy Roulette. Coming up, we're
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: gonna have some rules for eating your way through the holidays,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: guilt free. Okay, Thanksgivings coming up, Today's Veteran's Day. Yeah,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: that's coming up right after this. You're listening to morning
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: show Thanksgiving menus. Well, guys, you know it is that
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: time of year. It's all about the food. And as
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: much as we love eating seasonal treats and family meals,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: those of us who eat our feelings or struggle with
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: body image issues may have a hard time around the holidays.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: And we have definitely heard through the years that that's true.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: So if you stick to these dudes and don't to
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: help you make peace with your body. During the seasons.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: It's all about eating. Just stick to these, Okay, do
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: eat a piece of pie or Christmas dessert anytime you
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: want to and enjoy it without feeling guilty. All right,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: you can do that during the holiday, all right, Yeah,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: a piece, that's what we said. A lot of people
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: take that just as a piece at a time, and
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: they just go back another time until I eat the
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: whole damn fact, you know, four times half the damn
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: oh yeah, especially my mom's sweet potato pies. All right,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: all right, don't get on the scale the weeks of
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Thanksgiving and Christmas. Just don't even bother real or maybe
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: even for the rest of the year. Don't do it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Don't do it. You send yourself into something. Yeah, don't
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: let mean comments get to you. Try to shake off
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the critics like you're you know, miserable relatives. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: fat ass that eight four pieces of pie. Yeah, we're
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: just we're just giving you advice so you won't have
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: to feel bad. Why maybe looking at you. Yeah, here's
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: here's another one too, though, Like that, you have to
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: talk to people about you know, listen, you know, going
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: into Thanksgiving that your ass is fat. You know, it's
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: not fitting the change, not over the holidays. So if
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you're going into the going into the holidays already fat,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: ride that all way through January. M hmm, okay, through
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: the through the through twenty twenty. You're saying, okay, uh,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: do give yourself permission to be more relaxed about diet
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: and exercise during the holidays. Yeah, because as you're not
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: gonna do it none. Don't forget to eat healthy foods
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and lighter fear to balance out all those sweets and leftovers,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: all right, and nobody that nobody had a salad ever
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: ever making potato salad. That's about it, all right. Do
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: keep moving with dancing, walking, playing, and the snow with
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: your love front one so you can do that, you know,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: at least move. Okay, if you're having it at your house,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: these are three things you need. You're gonna need a
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: plunge of tall, the paper, and for breeze. Okay, listen
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: to me. You're gonna need a plunger house. Is that
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: your house, You're gonna need it. You'll not forget these
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: day Before you get a turkey. You need to get
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: a plunger and some for breeze and it needs to
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: be in the each restroom. Okay, with turkey. Before you
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: can get a turkey, you need you need a plunger
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: him and him him and and you need punt of
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: them in. You need one of them industrial type plunger
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: black black black with that nipple on the front of it. Yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: your list before turkey. Yeah, you need to put a
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: stressial handle on that plungeer that looks like a bicycle pump. Yes,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: with the griffin with a piece sticking out where you
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: can put your foot on it like a show special plug.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Those are your holiday eating tips from the State. Harvey
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: and military grade toilet paper. Coming up, guys, we have
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: more trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. That'll
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: be at twenty minutes after the hour right after this.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right? So, uh,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Donald Trump, our president, was ordered Wednesday to donate two
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: million dollars to a nonprofit group and to many nonprofit
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: groups on Wednesday by estate judge. This comes after the
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: president admitted that funds raised by the Donald J. Trump
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Foundation were used to promote the presidential campaign payoff debts
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: from his businesses and by a painting of himself. This
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: was a portrait of self portrait to hang in one
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: of his hotels. Though the settlement was finalized last month.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Why he not in jail man all of it? Because
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: because he's a president. Because yeah, you're right. Because say
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: it again, Steve. He's not in jail because he's not
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Barack Obama. If Barack Obama had done any of this,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: any of this, any of it, any one thing, it
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense and put in his blood in jail,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: they would unite. Yeah, yeah, and some Democrats. Yeah, you're right,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: So there you go with that. He was ordered to
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: pay it. But the self portrait though, to hang in
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: one of his hotels. I love it. He's not gonna
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: do that, love me. They've ordered him to turn over
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: records about the Ukraine thing, not doing it. They've ordered
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: people to come and testify before the House Committee. They
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: won't do it. They've ordered him turn over his tax return.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: He won't do it. He's not been a getting on
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: two million dollars to no damn body. Yeah, you're right,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: all right. More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour right after
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: this you're listening to show, all right, Steve. So today
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: it's Veterans Day. We want to say Happy Veterans Day
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: to all of our veterans out there. Can I say
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: something to him in a specified yes, today, surely I
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: like to really salute to veterans, you know, I want
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: to say something special for him, because it's called service.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: What they do, these people who go down here voluntarily.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: There's no draft. These people volunteer to provide service, and
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: sometimes just sometimes that means war. W a h war,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: real war, y'all. This ain't the kind that you play
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: with video games. This ain't this ain't some kind that
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you play with a handful of tokens. You ain't sitting
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: with an Xbox on the edge of the couch eating
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: a bowl of popcorn. It's real war that these people
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: are faced with oftentimes and real life. So to the
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: men and women of all racist creeds, colors and sex
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: who have served our country, well, we salute y'all on
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: this Veteran's Day, because, let's face it, we can't all
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: stay home because of bones burdens. M huh ps. It's
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: okay if your uniform is a little tight. What what
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: thank y'all. Some time uniform get a little tight, but
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: we still love you. We don't care, thank you. Yeah
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: you a veteran. Don't worry about the spurs. Yeah the spurs. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: But you know what, not only did he not go,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: his daddy didn't go, he didn't go. None of his
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: boys went. And I'm pretty sure none of his boys
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: boys are gonna go. Yeah, not a nail one. Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: he will salute in a minute. Yeah, oh, in a heartbeat.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: But he did his country. Won't pay no taxes to it, no, no,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: but he loved his country. Will not make his fair
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: contribution to it, but he loved. But to our real
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: veterans out there again, we salute, we love, thank you
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: for your service. Yes, coming up, our last break of
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the day and some closing remarks from the day from
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey on this Veteran's Day.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show all right here
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: we are last break of the day on this Veteran's Day. Again,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: we absolutely want to shout out our veterans today and
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: say thank you for your service. We appreciate you very
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: much all you do. Yeah, every one of y'all with
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: your bad self. Yeah, you know crazy that for us
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: to look trying to jump out of helicopter. You should
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: do a video. We can't do it, man, mis should
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: never get complete. But it's been a good day though,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Carlin jumping. I never could do that. I applaud these
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: people in milit yeah, and air force people, all those
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: people that jump out of airplane. I'm not with you,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: men and women. Yeah, I'm not doing that. Man. Come on,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: yeah all right, Steven, drop me off with a parachute
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: behind the enemy line. You went there and you came
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: back and you still got it together. Man. You know
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: how you know that is? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: can't imagine jumping out of an airplane. Oh they had
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: to suck back around time. I do want to do that, though,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I really some people do it for fun. You want
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: to do what jump out of an airplane? You know
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: they have? I knew I want to do. I didn't
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: know former President George Herbert Bush do it. When I
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: don't know. I want to jump by myself. That don't
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: look right because if if something happened, that's how you die.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I don't want that. Look well, he didn't die. I'm
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: just saying it two of y'all together like that. I
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: don't want to you know what I'm saying. I just
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: don't want that look don't look good? You want to
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: be a cute corpse? You definitely so. Um Here it
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: is my closing remarks today about the effort that it
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: takes to become successful. And in case you're confused about it,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: let me clear up the myth that if you want
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to be successful in this country, all you want to
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: be happy financially in this country, it requires an all
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: out assault on your behalf to attain it. I'm going
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: to say it again, it will require an all out
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: assault in order for you to attain it. If you
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: want to be successful in the United States of America. Really,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I don't care where you are, but I'm just talking
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: because the show is here. If you want to be
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: successful in this country, financially successful, it is going to
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: take an all out an assault on your behalf. Success
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: is not easy. I'm not gonna paint this picture for
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: you that all anybody can do it. Anybody can do
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: it who's willing to apply themselves the right way. But
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: if you're not willing, if you think there's a short cut,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I have news for you. It's not. You have got
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: to start getting doggish about your own success. You have
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: got to make success and absolute requirement. Failure is not
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: an option. Now listen to me. You will fail the
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: whole time you're trying to be successful. But to allow
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: that failure to consume you, stop you, drop you, sink you,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: that's unacceptable because failure is really just a valuable learned
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: gained experience, that's all it is. It's not an indoor
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: for you. So let me help you understand something. Let's
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: start with eight hours of sleep, as you've heard most
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: medical people say is required to live a healthy life.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Those people who put out their survey are not wealthy people.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: I can assure you that because let me explain something
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: to you, and I've talked to a lot of well
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: off people. If you are not where you want to
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: be in life financially, you can ill afford to be
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: asleep eight hours a day. If you are asleep for
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: eight hours a day, you are sleep a third of
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: your life. It's only twenty four hours in a day.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Eight hours is a third of that. If you are
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: asleep a third of your life, it's nowhere in the
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: world you'll be successful. You can't. There's a scripture that
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: says something to this effect that people who love to sleep,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: who love the folding of hands, poverty will set upon
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you like a thief in the night. It says in
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: so many words that that's not it exactly, but that's
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: like the New Testament, meaning a new version. If you
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: love to sleep and you love the folding of the hands,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: just sit around with your hands folded. Poverty will set
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: upon you like a thief in the night. Now let
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: me ask you a question out there. How many of you,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: just with us talking, how many of you know someone
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: who loves to sleep? I think that would be all
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: of you. All of you know someone who loves to sleep.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Now let me ask you something ain't a poe. The
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: answer is yes, tad scripture proven period. It requires an effort.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: You are going to start to have to eliminate some
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: of the junk from your life. You can't be at
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: every happy hour every day. You can't be at every
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: party they throw. You can't some one every day. You
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: can't watch every TV show that comes on every Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Saturday and never miss an episode. You cannot do that
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and be successful. Because now you're putting yourself on somebody
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: else's schedule, and the timing of their schedule has nothing
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: at all to do with your success. Think about it.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: So what you watch Scandal every day? The people don't
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Scandal already successful. If you're watching a particular show every
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: day every time it comes on, and you have a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: series of those shows, you're scheduling your life around other
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: people's success. You can't be tending to your success. If
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you own front of the boob to watching other people's success,
