- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you, Senator, I cannot believe that I'm going to
- 0:07Speaker 1: start Verdict by saying this. But apparently Joe Biden is
- 0:13Speaker 1: going to build the wall, and I'm talking about the
- 0:16Speaker 1: wall with Mexico. This was announced very you know, nonchalant,
- 0:21Speaker 1: no big deal, and see it in is losing their
- 0:25Speaker 1: minds over this. I want to play that in a second,
- 0:27Speaker 1: but first I want to get your initial reaction to this.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Well, it in News of the Weird.
- 0:33Speaker 3: You know, have Joe Biden standing up promising to build
- 0:36Speaker 3: the wall. I'm waiting for him to grab a red
- 0:40Speaker 3: Maga hat, put it on, and and and and explain
- 0:43Speaker 3: that that AOC is going to pay for it. It
- 0:47Speaker 3: is truly loopy stuff. To cut to the conclusion, I
- 0:51Speaker 3: don't actually believe him. I think this is this is
- 0:53Speaker 3: make believe, This is trying to pretend they're responding to
- 0:57Speaker 3: the border crisis. But but but here Playhouse CNN covers
- 1:01Speaker 3: it because it really does show that even as media
- 1:04Speaker 3: cheerleaders are calling BS on this.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Biden is building the wall, at least part of it.
- 1:11Speaker 4: This is something he said he would not do. The
- 1:13Speaker 4: Biden administration announced it will waive twenty six federal laws
- 1:16Speaker 4: to allow border wall construction in South Texas because of
- 1:19Speaker 4: what they call an acute and immediate knee. The plan
- 1:23Speaker 4: is to construct up to twenty miles of new border
- 1:25Speaker 4: barriers in Star County. That's in the Rio Grande Valley area.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Some two hundred and forty five thousand migrants have attempted
- 1:31Speaker 4: to cross the border illegally in just that one sector
- 1:35Speaker 4: since October of last year. On the entire border there,
- 1:37Speaker 4: the number is closer to three million. Hundreds of migrants
- 1:40Speaker 4: rush pass border control agents near El Paso yesterday. So
- 1:45Speaker 4: when he was running for president, Biden made clear that
- 1:47Speaker 4: he would not expand the border wall if elected.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Come campaigned on build that wall.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Are you willing to tear that wall down?
- 1:57Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:57Speaker 6: There will not be another foot of wall construct it
- 2:01Speaker 6: on my administration. The President also said today that former
- 2:05Speaker 6: presidents have said to him that they.
- 2:07Speaker 7: Wish that they had built a wall.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Do you recall President Obama were saying that.
- 2:12Speaker 6: I can't think of a single one who said that
- 2:14Speaker 6: we need border security, but that's not the border security
- 2:17Speaker 6: we need.
- 2:19Speaker 4: And on the day he took office, President biden'signed a
- 2:21Speaker 4: proclamation stating that, quote building a massive wall that spans
- 2:25Speaker 4: the entire southern border is not a serious policy solution
- 2:29Speaker 4: that we should know. Today's action does not do that.
- 2:31Speaker 4: It's a twenty mile section. Nevertheless, it is very different
- 2:34Speaker 4: than what President Biden campaigned on.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I mean, Senator, I love CNN here because they're like
- 2:40Speaker 1: owning Joe Biden. They never fact check in this way
- 2:44Speaker 1: because this is how much they hate the idea of
- 2:47Speaker 1: a wall. They can't stand that he's quote flip flopping.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And this is when it's fun to be a conservative.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You can just sit back and watch them burn him
- 2:55Speaker 1: down on this. I also think that part about this
- 2:57Speaker 1: that needs to be put in perspective, because you've been
- 2:59Speaker 1: to the border probably more than any other senator in history.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Is twenty miles as great, but it's not near as
- 3:07Speaker 1: much as we actually need.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Well, that's right, and from the announcement, they're putting it
- 3:12Speaker 3: down in the Rio Grand Valley in Star County, and
- 3:15Speaker 3: that's valuable. That's an area of very high traffic. So
- 3:18Speaker 3: that is beneficial. If they actually follow through and build
- 3:22Speaker 3: that section of the wall, that's beneficial.
- 3:25Speaker 2: But here's the important thing to understand.
- 3:27Speaker 3: You can build a wall on the entirety of the
- 3:29Speaker 3: border and it will not stop illegal immigration unless, unless,
- 3:35Speaker 3: unless you have an administration that will follow the law
- 3:39Speaker 3: and deport the people who come here illegally. So when
- 3:43Speaker 3: I'm down at the border, almost without exception, I sit down,
- 3:47Speaker 3: I meet with the border patrol agents, I meet with ICE,
- 3:49Speaker 3: I meet with sheriffs, I meet with local police and
- 3:52Speaker 3: local law enforcement, and I try to listen. I try
- 3:55Speaker 3: to ask them, Okay, what tools do you need, how
- 3:58Speaker 3: do you actually secure the the border?
- 4:00Speaker 2: Now? Without exception, they say they need a wall, that
- 4:04Speaker 2: a wall is beneficial, but understand that a wall alone
- 4:09Speaker 2: doesn't solve the problem. And why is that.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Well, there's the old line that if you build a
- 4:13Speaker 3: ten foot wall, someone brings an eleven foot ladder. And
- 4:16Speaker 3: what law enforcement on the border tells me is that's true,
- 4:19Speaker 3: that people bring ladders, they get over the wall, that
- 4:22Speaker 3: they get around the wall. That the wall is not
- 4:25Speaker 3: the complete solution. The reason a wall is valuable is
- 4:30Speaker 3: what is critical if you're trying to stop illegal immigration
- 4:33Speaker 3: is the time between detection and apprehension. And what a
- 4:37Speaker 3: wall does is it slows people down. It takes longer
- 4:40Speaker 3: to get over a wall to get around a wall
- 4:42Speaker 3: that if there's no wall, And in particular, a wall
- 4:45Speaker 3: is valuable in more urban environments where there's there's not
- 4:50Speaker 3: much space between the border and disappearing into a heavily
- 4:54Speaker 3: populated area, So they're parts of rugged West Texas where
- 4:58Speaker 3: you've got really tough to and a wall, frankly is
- 5:03Speaker 3: not that useful in an area where the terrain is
- 5:06Speaker 3: already a natural barrier. But if you're dealing with a
- 5:09Speaker 3: portion of the border that is by a heavily populated
- 5:12Speaker 3: area and an illegal immigrant is able to cross and
- 5:15Speaker 3: suddenly disappear into the city, that's where a wall is
- 5:19Speaker 3: really valuable. But even when the wall is built, what
- 5:24Speaker 3: you have to have is an administration willing to deport
- 5:29Speaker 3: the people they apprehend, and what Joe Biden is not
- 5:32Speaker 3: willing to do is to end catch and release. And
- 5:36Speaker 3: as long as catch and release remains the policy, this
- 5:41Speaker 3: crisis will continue to get worse and worse and worse.
- 5:45Speaker 3: And I think the purpose of this announcement is that
- 5:48Speaker 3: they want a photo off of building a few feet
- 5:50Speaker 3: a wall, so that it can assuage some of the
- 5:54Speaker 3: Blue state governors and blue state mayors that are getting
- 5:57Speaker 3: worked up. But it will not work all to reduce
- 6:02Speaker 3: ilegal immigration because Joe Biden intends to keep releasing the
- 6:07Speaker 3: illegals that come.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, great point there. Let me tell you about our

- 7:33Speaker 1: You look at the headline, it says Biden Administration waves
- 7:36Speaker 1: twenty six federal laws to allow border wall construction in
- 7:40Speaker 1: South Texas. That's the headline that they wanted. And yet
- 7:44Speaker 1: you mentioned catch and release. It's been a while and
- 7:48Speaker 1: for many people to understand the border issue. They'll understand that,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but there's a lot of people that are listening center
- 7:52Speaker 1: that may understand the policy. There was a different policy
- 7:56Speaker 1: under the Trump administration when it come to catching release,
- 7:58Speaker 1: and immediately the administration said we're not doing that anymore.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Can you explain why that loophole has, how dangerous it
- 8:07Speaker 1: is and also how many people it's allowed to come
- 8:10Speaker 1: this country. We're talking about millions because of a simple
- 8:12Speaker 1: policy decision, and if he changed that, that would do
- 8:16Speaker 1: more than building twenty miles of a wall.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Correct, that's exactly right. And you know I would point
- 8:23Speaker 2: listeners back.
- 8:24Speaker 3: You and I did a podcast a number of months
- 8:26Speaker 3: ago down on the southern border and we interviewed Brandon Judd.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Brandon Judd is the head of the National Border Patrol Union.
- 8:33Speaker 3: He's a good friend, and that's the union of all
- 8:36Speaker 3: the border patrol agents, the men and women risking their
- 8:38Speaker 3: lives to secure the border. And we sat down we
- 8:41Speaker 3: were down to the Rio Grande Valley with Brandon and
- 8:43Speaker 3: we sat down with him and interviewed him by the border.
- 8:46Speaker 3: And one of the things Brandon said that a lot
- 8:48Speaker 3: of people don't realize, but it was striking. He said,
- 8:51Speaker 3: to secure the border, to fix this problem, he said,
- 8:53Speaker 3: we don't need any more money. He said, we don't
- 8:56Speaker 3: even need more agents. Although more agents would help, he said,
- 8:59Speaker 3: that's not really what we need.
- 9:01Speaker 2: To secure the border.
- 9:02Speaker 3: He said, what we need is policy, a change in policy,
- 9:07Speaker 3: a change in executive policy. And it comes down to
- 9:11Speaker 3: one central question. When you apprehend an illegal immigrant, what
- 9:17Speaker 3: do you do with that illegal immigrant? Now? Under Donald Trump,
- 9:20Speaker 3: when they apprehended someone, they put him on a plane
- 9:23Speaker 3: and they flew him back to where he came from.
- 9:26Speaker 2: They deported him. That was critical.
- 9:29Speaker 3: And then on top of that, and I'll explain this
- 9:32Speaker 3: in a minute, was the remain in Mexico agreement, and
- 9:34Speaker 3: that together, those two together produced the lowest rate of
- 9:39Speaker 3: illegal immigration in forty five years. Biden literally his first
- 9:43Speaker 3: week in office, he reversed that. So now when they
- 9:46Speaker 3: catch someone, they'll give him a coordinate, typically several years
- 9:50Speaker 3: in the future, and then they'll ask him where do
- 9:53Speaker 3: you want to go in the meantime, And they'll say,
- 9:54Speaker 3: I want to go to New York City, I want
- 9:56Speaker 3: to go to Chicago, I want to go to Dallas,
- 9:57Speaker 3: I want to go to la And the Biden administration
- 10:01Speaker 3: will put him on a plane or put him on
- 10:02Speaker 3: a bus and send them to whatever city they're in.
- 10:07Speaker 3: And and in fact, you were just in New York.
- 10:09Speaker 3: You told me you were sitting next to an illegal
- 10:11Speaker 3: immigrant who was flying on the plane to New York
- 10:14Speaker 3: with you.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yeah, the plane was filled with them. It was it
- 10:18Speaker 1: was shocking. I texted you the picture. There was a
- 10:21Speaker 1: man sitting next to me. He had all of his
- 10:22Speaker 1: papers in a in a in a see through, you know,
- 10:25Speaker 1: kind of sheer plastic, you know, envelope, and he had
- 10:30Speaker 1: his red cross blanket that was with him. He had
- 10:32Speaker 1: his little knatsack that the US government gave him, he
- 10:35Speaker 1: had his cell phone and and I speak very little Spanish,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but I was able to communicate enough. I said, we're head.
- 10:43Speaker 1: He goes, oh, I've come and I've come to America
- 10:46Speaker 1: and they're now letting me go to New York City.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And I said, oh, across the border and he said yes,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and he was very excited. You and I taxpayers paid
- 10:54Speaker 1: for that airline ticket. Uh, we paid for all the
- 10:57Speaker 1: stuff that he had with him that was you know, new.
- 10:59Speaker 1: And I'm assuming there's a good chance that cell phone
- 11:01Speaker 1: he had was probably issued by the US government as well,
- 11:04Speaker 1: because they've been doing that. But he wasn't the only
- 11:06Speaker 1: one on that point. I mean, that was the first time.
- 11:07Speaker 1: There's part of me saying, yay, I'm glad that he's
- 11:10Speaker 1: going to New York City and not staying in Texas,
- 11:13Speaker 1: because that's what's going to end up fixing this problem.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Is what we're seeing with the they call it, you know,
- 11:17Speaker 1: anarchy and chaos, and they can't handle the illegal immigrants.
- 11:20Speaker 1: But that was the first time I'd ever witnessed it,
- 11:22Speaker 1: sitting there knowing, Wow, I just paid for this guy
- 11:25Speaker 1: just broke into our country to go to wherever he
- 11:27Speaker 1: wanted to go. And I witnessed it first hit of
- 11:29Speaker 1: a shocking to me when you're sitting next to it.
- 11:32Speaker 3: So and I understand that, and I've seen that many times,
- 11:36Speaker 3: particularly when you've got flights coming out of South Texas.
- 11:39Speaker 3: You can see half the flight or more filled with
- 11:41Speaker 3: illegal aliens that the Biden administration he is paying to
- 11:45Speaker 3: fly all over the country.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And that's happening day in day out.
- 11:49Speaker 3: By the way, that's not Greg Abbott, or as Eric
- 11:52Speaker 3: Adams calls him, that madman in Texas busting them to
- 11:55Speaker 3: New York. That's Joe Biden flying them to New York.
- 11:58Speaker 3: And that's happening day after day after day. But you know,
- 12:02Speaker 3: I will say, if you didn't listen to the podcast
- 12:05Speaker 3: we did with Brandon Judd, you ought to go go
- 12:07Speaker 3: back and listen to it because he explained that it
- 12:10Speaker 3: is the policy of catch and release that produces this
- 12:15Speaker 3: problem and Joe Biden does not intend to change catch
- 12:18Speaker 3: and release. And I mentioned remain in Mexico so remain
- 12:21Speaker 3: in Mexico was an agreement the Trump administration negotiated with
- 12:26Speaker 3: Mexico that said that when people crossed illegally into Mexico,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and many of them were coming from South America or
- 12:32Speaker 3: Central America, that they would remain in Mexico, that they'd
- 12:35Speaker 3: stay in Mexico while their US asylum case was proceeding.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And that worked incredibly well. That's what produced the lowest
- 12:45Speaker 3: rate of illegal immigration in forty five years. Now, one
- 12:48Speaker 3: thing you said, Ben that I think is probably not
- 12:50Speaker 3: not the case. You said you thought that cell phone
- 12:53Speaker 3: likely was given to him by the federal government. That
- 12:56Speaker 3: probably is not the case because in my experience, virtually
- 13:00Speaker 3: one hundred percent of the illegal aliens crossing the border
- 13:02Speaker 3: have their own cell phone with them. It's one of
- 13:04Speaker 3: the few property items they carry. And it's why catch
- 13:09Speaker 3: and release is so pernicious, because what happens is they
- 13:13Speaker 3: get here, they turn themselves in, they go look for
- 13:16Speaker 3: a border patrol agent. They turn themselves in. The border
- 13:19Speaker 3: patrol agent ask, Okay, where do you want to go?
- 13:21Speaker 3: They say, I want to go to New York City.
- 13:23Speaker 3: They say great. They start processing them and then what
- 13:25Speaker 3: happens is the illegal immigrant they pick up their cell
- 13:27Speaker 3: phone and they call their friends, they call their family,
- 13:30Speaker 3: they call their buddies and say, hey, guess what if
- 13:33Speaker 3: you come here, you get to stay. And by the way,
- 13:36Speaker 3: when they let them go, the vast majority of these
- 13:38Speaker 3: people are never seen again. The court date is a
- 13:40Speaker 3: complete fiction. That is the source of the problem. And
- 13:47Speaker 3: Biden the same week he halted the border wall, the
- 13:50Speaker 3: same week he reinstated catch and release, that same week
- 13:54Speaker 3: he pulled out. It remain in Mexico that caused this crisis.
- 13:58Speaker 1: But I explain the remain in Mexico that the same
- 14:01Speaker 1: week he pulled out because people hear that, what did
- 14:04Speaker 1: that actually do? What did it mean?
- 14:06Speaker 3: So what it What it meant is is that asylum
- 14:09Speaker 3: cases would proceed, but they'd stay in Mexico. They would
- 14:14Speaker 3: not be allowed to come to America. They would stay
- 14:17Speaker 3: in that they had camps in Mexico just south of
- 14:21Speaker 3: our southern border where they'd stay while the asylum case proceeded.
- 14:25Speaker 3: But it meant they didn't get let go in America.
- 14:27Speaker 3: The critical thing about remain in Mexico is they were
- 14:30Speaker 3: not released in America, and so you didn't have the magnet.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You didn't have the pull effect, and so they'd call
- 14:39Speaker 3: home and they'd say, hey, don't come. I thought i'd
- 14:42Speaker 3: get to America. I got here, I got apprehended, and
- 14:45Speaker 3: I'm stuck in Mexico. Damn, and I'm not in America.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I'm in Mexico. This sucks. I'm not you know, don't come.
- 14:52Speaker 3: They've actually really secured the border. And by the way,
- 14:56Speaker 3: Trump leaned vigorously on the President of Mexico on it
- 15:00Speaker 3: MLO to force him to agree to remain in Mexico. Also,
- 15:05Speaker 3: he got the Mexican government to put six thousand troops
- 15:09Speaker 3: on their southern border. You know, the southern border of
- 15:12Speaker 3: Mexico is much much smaller. It's just a few hundred
- 15:15Speaker 3: miles as compared to our southern border that's two thousand miles.
- 15:19Speaker 3: And it's just obviously Mexico narrows as it goes into
- 15:22Speaker 3: Central America. The southern border of Mexico's much easier to
- 15:27Speaker 3: secure than our southern border because it's much smaller. That combination,
- 15:31Speaker 3: I want to contrast at the same AMLO that Trump,
- 15:35Speaker 3: by standing strong, was able to get to agree to
- 15:37Speaker 3: remain in Mexico.
- 15:39Speaker 2: When Joe Biden was president.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Let's go back to January of this year, January twenty
- 15:44Speaker 3: twenty three, where Joe Biden did a press conference with
- 15:48Speaker 3: Amlo and Amlo praised him for building being the first
- 15:54Speaker 3: president in recent history to build not even a single
- 15:58Speaker 3: meter of border wall.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Listen, President Biden, you are the first president.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Of the United States then has not built not even
- 16:09Speaker 4: one meter of wall.
- 16:13Speaker 8: And that.
- 16:15Speaker 2: We thank you for that, sir, although.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Not like it, although the conservatives don't like it.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Now, Ben, I want you to listen carefully to what
- 16:32Speaker 2: Amlo said.
- 16:33Speaker 3: And amlo is is the nickname, it's the abbreviation for
- 16:36Speaker 3: the Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, that's the current
- 16:41Speaker 3: president of Mexico.
- 16:42Speaker 2: He's a hard leftist.
- 16:43Speaker 3: And what he said, which we just played and you
- 16:45Speaker 3: could hear him in the Spanish in the background and
- 16:47Speaker 3: then the female translator, but I want you to listen
- 16:51Speaker 3: to the words again. What he said is, you are
- 16:53Speaker 3: the first president of the United States in a very
- 16:57Speaker 3: long time that has not built even one meter of wall.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Neiun metro is what he said.
- 17:06Speaker 3: And he goes on to say, and we thank you
- 17:09Speaker 3: for that, sir, although some might not like it, although
- 17:14Speaker 3: the conservatives.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Don't like it.
- 17:17Speaker 3: And this entire time, AMLO's praising Biden for being the
- 17:21Speaker 3: first guy in a long time not to build wall,
- 17:23Speaker 3: including not Trump, not Obama, not Bush. Nope, Biden had
- 17:28Speaker 3: not built even one meter of wall. Biden is sitting
- 17:31Speaker 3: there grinning like some silly kid while he's allowing an
- 17:35Speaker 3: invasion of our country. The important thing to understand is
- 17:40Speaker 3: Biden still intends to allow the invasion of the country.
- 17:43Speaker 3: He just realized that building a little bit of wall
- 17:47Speaker 3: it is good camouflage to pretend that this is not
- 17:51Speaker 3: all his fault.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Well, and let's back that up with facts and proof
- 17:55Speaker 1: of what you just said. The Biden administration has been
- 17:58Speaker 1: purposely cut out bob wire at the border to facilitate
- 18:03Speaker 1: more legal aliens into the United States of America. Now
- 18:07Speaker 1: this it was caught on video, reported on video on
- 18:12Speaker 1: Fox News Channel.
- 18:13Speaker 8: Take a listen now at Eagle Pass in Texas. Our
- 18:16Speaker 8: drone is up in the air again and this picture
- 18:20Speaker 8: has not gotten better. We've watched this now for ten days.
- 18:24Speaker 8: The state of Texas has put that barbed wire, the
- 18:27Speaker 8: Concertina wire down to block migrants or to dissuade them
- 18:31Speaker 8: from crossing the Rio Grande River. It's been mildly successful,
- 18:34Speaker 8: but every time you see this, you get a back
- 18:37Speaker 8: up on the banks of that river, and the White
- 18:39Speaker 8: House puts a phone call in the border patrol and
- 18:42Speaker 8: they cut that wire and then you see the line move.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And then in the.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Sanate of Texas, the leadership of Texas and the White
- 18:49Speaker 5: House and the people in Texas largely have to deal
- 18:51Speaker 5: with it. You know, one hundred thousand in New York
- 18:54Speaker 5: is just you know, a very small number compared to
- 18:56Speaker 5: what they've had to deal with in Texas. So it
- 18:59Speaker 5: is in a stop Douatian. Plus you have all these
- 19:02Speaker 5: children who have been brought here by human traffickers and
- 19:05Speaker 5: the cartel basically in charge of the operations.
- 19:07Speaker 8: On and on it goes, and the federal government repeatedly
- 19:10Speaker 8: challenges the state of Texas when they try and impede
- 19:13Speaker 8: the crossing or the passing of those into that from
- 19:16Speaker 8: the drone an egle pass Texas.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I mean, Senator, you can hear it there, Martha McCallum,
- 19:20Speaker 1: Bill Himmer. They're watching this on TV. They're laughing at
- 19:25Speaker 1: the idea that now you have a presence saying got
- 19:28Speaker 1: to build this wall, but we're cutting down the bob
- 19:31Speaker 1: wire to let people in. We're fighting with Texas saying
- 19:35Speaker 1: you cannot secure the border. But then we bring an
- 19:37Speaker 1: announcement saying we're going to secure twenty miles of the
- 19:39Speaker 1: border and the rest of it. I guess they're going
- 19:41Speaker 1: to keep cutting down bob wire. This is literally the
- 19:44Speaker 1: definition of total insanity. Or they're just straight up lying
- 19:48Speaker 1: to the American people, as you reference earlier, to play
- 19:51Speaker 1: kate to these liberal mayors in places like New York
- 19:54Speaker 1: that are freaking out they have one hundred thousand, Well
- 19:57Speaker 1: guess what, Wait till you get a million, and then
- 19:58Speaker 1: see what you do.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 3: No, look, that's exactly right. The Biden administration wants illegal immigration.
- 20:06Speaker 3: They want more of it. They want the numbers. Right
- 20:09Speaker 3: now it's seven point six million, it's the highest in ever.
- 20:13Speaker 3: They want it to grow to ten, to fifteen, to
- 20:16Speaker 3: twenty million because they look at these illegal immigrants as
- 20:20Speaker 3: future Democrat voters.
- 20:21Speaker 2: They want open borders. So you're right.
- 20:24Speaker 3: The state of Texas is putting barguire up trying to
- 20:28Speaker 3: secure the border, and the Biden administration sends people in
- 20:33Speaker 3: to cut it down, to open it up. So that
- 20:35Speaker 3: the illegal immigrants can come faster. The Biden Department of
- 20:38Speaker 3: Justice is suing the State of Texas trying to stop
- 20:42Speaker 3: the State of Texas from putting barriers on the border.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Alejandro Mayorcis, they want
- 20:50Speaker 3: to accelerate illegal immigration. And understand this about may orcus
- 20:56Speaker 3: He views doing his job well as get more efficient,
- 21:01Speaker 3: getting faster in processing illegal immigrants, so that they shrink
- 21:06Speaker 3: the time and make it even quicker and quicker and
- 21:08Speaker 3: quicker to move illegal immigrants into the interior. And so
- 21:13Speaker 3: this announcement today, it is one thing and one thing only.
- 21:17Speaker 3: It's a press release, it's a photo op. It is
- 21:20Speaker 3: designed so they can pretend, gosh see, we're secure in
- 21:24Speaker 3: the border. But their objective is for the numbers to
- 21:28Speaker 3: keep going up. And the way you know that is
- 21:31Speaker 3: they're not changing catch and release, they're not changing the
- 21:34Speaker 3: policies that cause this crisis. Instead, they're continuing to fly
- 21:38Speaker 3: illegal aliens to every city in America, and they're continuing
- 21:42Speaker 3: to enrich the cartels and turn them into multi billion
- 21:48Speaker 3: dollar global criminal enterprises.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I want to tell you about Patriot Mobile. For ten years,
- 21:55Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider,
- 21:59Speaker 1: and when I say only trust me, they're the only one.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:03Speaker 1: The team there have been great supporters not only of
- 22:06Speaker 1: shows just like this one, but they are proud to
- 22:09Speaker 1: partner with conservative organizations to grow the conservative base. When
- 22:14Speaker 1: you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a message that
- 22:18Speaker 1: you support free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity of life,
- 22:21Speaker 1: the Second Amendment, as well as our military, our veterans,
- 22:24Speaker 1: and our first responder heroes. They have one hundred percent
- 22:28Speaker 1: US based customer service team which makes switching easy. You
- 22:32Speaker 1: can keep your same cell phone number you have now,
- 22:34Speaker 1: you can keep your same phone or upgrade now when
- 22:37Speaker 1: you pay your bill, this is when the magic happens.
- 22:39Speaker 1: They take a percentage of your bill each and every
- 22:42Speaker 1: month and give it back to conservative causes that you
- 22:45Speaker 1: help choose to support in these categories that I just mentioned.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And you may not realize it, but many of the
- 22:52Speaker 1: big mobile companies actually give huge donations to Democrats as
- 22:56Speaker 1: well as the Plan Parenthood. So stop giving your mind
- 22:59Speaker 1: awoke corporations that are fighting against your values and switch

- 23:19Speaker 1: slash verdict that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict. Mexico
- 23:25Speaker 1: seems to be reading the political tea leaves here as well,
- 23:29Speaker 1: Centaer and this is very concerning from a national security
- 23:32Speaker 1: standpoint because a couple of years ago, for several years
- 23:35Speaker 1: in a row, and I haven't seen the most recent
- 23:37Speaker 1: numbers for this year, but the number one stimulus of
- 23:40Speaker 1: Mexico's economy was the legal immigrants in America. Sending money
- 23:43Speaker 1: back to Mexico is outpacing oil production, to put it
- 23:46Speaker 1: in perspective in Mexico, and so every person they get
- 23:51Speaker 1: across the border that ends up sending money back to
- 23:54Speaker 1: Mexico and not draining the resource in Mexico, that's a
- 23:57Speaker 1: net gain financially for Mexico is a nation. What we're
- 24:01Speaker 1: now seeing, and part of this could be because of
- 24:04Speaker 1: the rhetoric changing from the White House is apparently from
- 24:08Speaker 1: what's being reported, Mexico is now busting people to the
- 24:13Speaker 1: border to come into America. Take a listen to this
- 24:16Speaker 1: from Fox.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Mexican government initiative that's likely going to complicate the migrant
- 24:20Speaker 7: crisis at least here in the US. Authorities there have
- 24:24Speaker 7: begun bussing migrants from the southern part of Mexico north.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Towards the US.
- 24:29Speaker 7: This is an attempt by Mexico to free of existing
- 24:32Speaker 7: public transportation that's currently being overwhelmed by the estimated six
- 24:36Speaker 7: thousand who crossed into Mexico each day.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I mean, you hear that that's shocking on its face
- 24:42Speaker 1: as well.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Well it is, And understand this is caused by Joe
- 24:47Speaker 2: Biden's weakness. MLO doesn't respect Joe Biden. He thinks he's
- 24:51Speaker 2: an incredibly weak commander in chief. You know, we played
- 24:54Speaker 2: earlier a snippet from the joint press conference they had
- 24:57Speaker 2: in January where Amlo is looking at him and is
- 25:01Speaker 2: able to walk all over him and listen. Amelo is
- 25:04Speaker 2: a hard leftist.
- 25:05Speaker 3: He campaigned and got elected in part running on an
- 25:09Speaker 3: anti American agenda. But when he came in, Donald Trump
- 25:12Speaker 3: was president and Amlo was scared of Trump. He didn't
- 25:15Speaker 3: want to mess with Trump. And so ironically, this hard leftist,
- 25:19Speaker 3: anti American Mexican president cooperated And remember the way remain
- 25:25Speaker 3: in Mexico got signed is Trump threatened to put in
- 25:29Speaker 3: place a twenty five percent tariff on all goods coming
- 25:34Speaker 3: from Mexico.
- 25:36Speaker 2: That threat scared the hell.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Out of Amlow, which is why he knuckled under and
- 25:40Speaker 3: agreed to remain in Mexico. He didn't do so eagerly,
- 25:44Speaker 3: but he was afraid that Trump was just crazy enough
- 25:49Speaker 3: that he would put those tariffs in place. The difference
- 25:52Speaker 3: now is Biden's so weak that Amlo he's getting even
- 25:57Speaker 3: further left, more anti American, and he's deliberately fueling this
- 26:03Speaker 3: invasion at our southern border and the dynamic and by.
- 26:08Speaker 2: The way, even Eric Adams.
- 26:10Speaker 3: So Eric Adams has been getting some praise lately for
- 26:14Speaker 3: having the courage to say illegal immigration is destroying New
- 26:18Speaker 3: York City. Well this week Eric Adams still said, well,
- 26:23Speaker 3: we want open borders.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Understand what I'm saying.
- 26:25Speaker 3: We want open borders, we just want a process to
- 26:28Speaker 3: deal with it. Basically, what he's saying is give us money.
- 26:32Speaker 3: If the Feds will give us the money, we'll take
- 26:35Speaker 3: these illegal immigrants and just give them billions of dollars.
- 26:38Speaker 3: We just don't have the cash to cover it. But
- 26:41Speaker 3: I think what happened is Adams was getting grief from
- 26:43Speaker 3: his left flank, and he felt the need this week
- 26:46Speaker 3: to say, look, understand, I'm a Democrat, I'm four open borders,
- 26:50Speaker 3: but this is a real problem. This week's announcement about
- 26:54Speaker 3: the border wall is essentially press damage control from Biden.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it is is exactly that, and like you said,
- 27:05Speaker 1: it's probably an empty promise. And watch the media. They
- 27:08Speaker 1: will pound him on this issue to make sure it
- 27:10Speaker 1: doesn't happen. I also want to get your take on
- 27:13Speaker 1: a headline that's really exploded while we've been taping this
- 27:17Speaker 1: right now, and that deals with there is now intel
- 27:21Speaker 1: that shows that Maga Republicans, Donald Trump's supporters, will be
- 27:28Speaker 1: targeted by the FBI as the twenty twenty four election nears.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Newsweek is now reporting on this and Biden to go
- 27:37Speaker 1: back tweeted in September of last year quote Donald Trump
- 27:42Speaker 1: and Maga Republicans are a threat to the very soul
- 27:44Speaker 1: of this country. The very soul of this country. Chris
- 27:49Speaker 1: the FBI director, Chrisopher Ray and sworn testimony, said it's
- 27:53Speaker 1: not just Trump supporters. Early this year, he said, House
- 27:55Speaker 1: Republicans say the FBI document that they've obtained proved that
- 27:59Speaker 1: several filled offices contributed to a memo that targeted traditional Catholics.
- 28:04Speaker 1: We talked about this extensively on this show as potential
- 28:08Speaker 1: terrorists and tried to turn parishioners on their fellow church goers.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So if you just look at the last year, parents
- 28:17Speaker 1: who show up at school board meetings are to be
- 28:19Speaker 1: labeled domestic terrorists. The FBI was spending time recruiting people
- 28:25Speaker 1: in the Catholic church to spy on their friends and family.
- 28:29Speaker 1: And now we are being told that heading into the
- 28:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty four election that if you are a Donald
- 28:35Speaker 1: Trump follower supporter, that you may be now monitored or
- 28:41Speaker 1: targeted by the FBI.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right, and part of the challenge heare, like,
- 28:48Speaker 3: for example, you focused on the FBI's targeting of traditional Catholics,
- 28:53Speaker 3: which they rightly got enormous grief because they were talking
- 28:56Speaker 3: about infiltrating Catholic churches and trying to get priests to
- 29:00Speaker 3: spy on their parishioners and and and become FBI informants
- 29:05Speaker 3: to inform on the members of their church. So initially
- 29:09Speaker 3: the FBI said, oh, that was a rogue office down
- 29:12Speaker 3: in Richmond, Virginia. It's not a broader problem now that
- 29:16Speaker 3: they've admitted that it was multiple offices that participated in
- 29:19Speaker 3: that this was a much broader effort to target traditional
- 29:25Speaker 3: Catholics and and and the same is true, uh with
- 29:29Speaker 3: with the targeting of Donald Trump supporters. You know, even
- 29:32Speaker 3: this language, so you can tell someone did a focus
- 29:35Speaker 3: group on the Democrat side and they discovered the phrase
- 29:39Speaker 3: maga Republican. They're going to brand that that like magi
- 29:43Speaker 3: by the way, maga republican and their definition they mean everybody.
- 29:46Speaker 3: They literally mean every Republican is a maga Republican. And
- 29:50Speaker 3: then and then they just think the word maga is
- 29:52Speaker 3: really scary, and they claim that that if you are
- 29:56Speaker 3: a maga Republican is defined as a Republican who voted
- 29:59Speaker 3: for Donald So you know, seventy five to eighty million
- 30:03Speaker 3: Americans are defined, according to this White House as potential terrorists,
- 30:10Speaker 3: as threats to democracy.
- 30:12Speaker 2: And this is how Democrats have become radicalized.
- 30:15Speaker 3: They now say if you dare vote against Democrats, you
- 30:20Speaker 3: are a threat to democracy. Just understand, every time Democrats
- 30:26Speaker 3: use the word democracy, what they mean is me, I'm
- 30:30Speaker 3: a Democrat. I want to get elected, and anything that
- 30:34Speaker 3: stands in my way is a quote threat to democracy.
- 30:39Speaker 3: They don't actually want that. They don't actually want real
- 30:45Speaker 3: democracy if it elects Republicans. What they want is Democrats
- 30:49Speaker 3: to be in power forever. And by the way, this
- 30:51Speaker 3: is intimately connected to their lawlessness on the southern border,
- 30:55Speaker 3: because the reason they've allowed seven point six million illegal
- 30:58Speaker 3: immigrants into the country is because they want to subvert
- 31:01Speaker 3: democracy by getting them to vote for Democrats and keep
- 31:05Speaker 3: Democrats in power.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Sindri I also think we should bring up in the
- 31:09Speaker 1: Newsweek article it says that if you voted for Donald Trump,
- 31:12Speaker 1: the government will track you.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Well, that's right.
- 31:16Speaker 3: And in June of this year, the FBI and the
- 31:20Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security filed a joint report with Congress.
- 31:26Speaker 3: And what they say in that joint report is they say, quote,
- 31:31Speaker 3: threats from domestic violent extremists have increased in the last
- 31:36Speaker 3: two years, and any further increases in threats likely will
- 31:40Speaker 3: correspond to potential flash points such as high profile elections
- 31:46Speaker 3: and campaigns or contentious current events.
- 31:50Speaker 2: So they're saying terrorists.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Are associated with high profile elections, and just to make
- 31:57Speaker 3: sure there's no ambiguity that they're not talking about Antifa,
- 32:00Speaker 3: they're not talking about left wing terrorists. They are focused
- 32:03Speaker 3: on Republicans. Here's what the report concludes. Quote socio political
- 32:10Speaker 3: developments such as narratives of fraud in the recent general election,
- 32:18Speaker 3: conditions related to the COVID nineteen pandemic, and conspiracy theories
- 32:23Speaker 3: promoting violence will almost certainly spur some domestic terrorists to
- 32:31Speaker 3: try to.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Engage in violence.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Now, everything they list there they associate with Republicans, and
- 32:37Speaker 3: notice they say COVID. So if you don't like lockdowns,
- 32:41Speaker 3: you're a terrorist. If you don't like forced maskings, you're
- 32:44Speaker 3: a terrorist. If you don't like vaccine mandates, you're a terrorist.
- 32:47Speaker 3: If you're concerned about the potential health negative effects of
- 32:51Speaker 3: forced vaccines, of the COVID vaccines, you're a terrorist.
- 32:55Speaker 2: That is the narrative. Anyone that disagrees with the regime.
- 33:00Speaker 3: They now define as a violent extremist, And amazingly enough,
- 33:05Speaker 3: left wing violence in their narrative doesn't exist. So black
- 33:08Speaker 3: lives matter, not a word about them, Antifa, not a
- 33:13Speaker 3: word about them. The efforts targeting Look, we've got now
- 33:19Speaker 3: violent riots that are playing out right now in cities
- 33:22Speaker 3: like Philadelphia where they're ransacking and looting stores where they're
- 33:27Speaker 3: attacking police officers.
- 33:28Speaker 2: That is not violent extremism. If you're a.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Leftist, that's okay, that's wonderful, that is beautiful social protests
- 33:38Speaker 3: to burn American cities. But yet, if you're if you
- 33:43Speaker 3: don't want to see America locked down again on COVID,
- 33:46Speaker 3: clearly you're a terrorist.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about our friends. I
- 33:49Speaker 1: guess the Precious Medals real quick. If you're like me

- 35:13Speaker 1: Augusta Precious Medals dot com. Final question to you, I
- 35:16Speaker 1: think we should give it a quick update on that
- 35:19Speaker 1: speakership and the House vote kind of risen to the
- 35:23Speaker 1: top at this point. He said he's willing to be
- 35:25Speaker 1: the speaker that would be. And if you missed our
- 35:29Speaker 1: interview with him, a two part series on the on
- 35:31Speaker 1: the Hunter Byden Investigation, go back and listen to it.
- 35:34Speaker 1: He's phenomenal on this issue. Talk about the timeline now
- 35:38Speaker 1: of when we expect the House side to take this up,
- 35:42Speaker 1: of deciding again who's going to be the Speaker.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Well, my understanding is the House is going to vote
- 35:47Speaker 3: on speaker next week and then I expect it to
- 35:50Speaker 3: be a roller coaster ride. I mean, you remember back
- 35:53Speaker 3: in January we had a roller coaster ride of over
- 35:56Speaker 3: a dozen different ballots before Kevin mc carthy was elected Speaker,
- 36:01Speaker 3: and it was very narrow. It may well be a
- 36:05Speaker 3: similar battle at this point. There's several contenders that are
- 36:08Speaker 3: talking about running. Two have announced publicly. One is Steve Scalise.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Steve Scalise is the majority leader, was Kevin McCarthy's number two.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Steve is generally perceived to be more conservative than McCarthy,
- 36:25Speaker 3: and so Steve is running as the candidate that can
- 36:30Speaker 3: unify both the moderates in the Republican Conference and also
- 36:35Speaker 3: some of the Conservatives. A second candidate who's running, as
- 36:39Speaker 3: you noted as Jim Jordan. Jim Jordan was one of
- 36:42Speaker 3: the original founders of the Freedom of Cacaucus. He is
- 36:45Speaker 3: a prominent and well known conservative. The media is deeply
- 36:49Speaker 3: skeptical of Jim Jordan, and they say he's too conservative
- 36:52Speaker 3: to get elected and the moderates will never support him.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I don't know if that's true or not.
- 36:57Speaker 3: There is also discussion that Kevin Hearn, who is a
- 37:02Speaker 3: Republican from Oklahoma, that he may run.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Kevin is a good man.
- 37:06Speaker 3: It's not clear if he will, although there have been
- 37:09Speaker 3: reports that he's telling other Republicans he's looking at the
- 37:12Speaker 3: race seriously. And then there's been some chatter that Chip
- 37:16Speaker 3: Roy might run. I don't know if Chip will.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Run or not.
- 37:20Speaker 3: At this point, neither Kevin nor Chip are in the race,
- 37:23Speaker 3: but next week they might both be in the race.
- 37:25Speaker 3: And I don't know if yet another Republican might jump in.
- 37:29Speaker 3: So I think it will be vigorously contested. I'm sure
- 37:34Speaker 3: there is a lot of horse trading going on right now.
- 37:37Speaker 3: There's a lot of negotiations going on right now. What's
- 37:40Speaker 3: striking is that each of the potential candidates went and
- 37:44Speaker 3: met with the Texas delegation. The reason they met with
- 37:47Speaker 3: the Texas delegation is Texas is the largest contingent of
- 37:51Speaker 3: House Republicans and so you've got the biggest block of votes,
- 37:55Speaker 3: particularly if the Texas Delegation votes together. It's not clear
- 37:58Speaker 3: that they will, but they might, and so at this
- 38:01Speaker 3: point I don't know what will happen. My intention is
- 38:04Speaker 3: to stay out of it and to leave leadership elections
- 38:08Speaker 3: to House Republicans. But the answer as to who comes
- 38:12Speaker 3: out of it is going to matter quite a bit,
- 38:14Speaker 3: and so we will certainly watch with interest and continue
- 38:19Speaker 3: to provide the best analysis we can.
- 38:21Speaker 1: One of the things I've heard over the last twenty
- 38:23Speaker 1: four to forty eight hours center is there are people
- 38:25Speaker 1: that love Jim Jordan, but they don't want to lose
- 38:28Speaker 1: him on this investigation of Hunter Biden, and they're afraid
- 38:31Speaker 1: that if you became the speak expertise, is that something
- 38:35Speaker 1: that should be a concern or could he still continue
- 38:38Speaker 1: to do both or have more power as a speaker?
- 38:41Speaker 3: Well, look, there's no doubt that the Speaker is by
- 38:43Speaker 3: far the most powerful player in the House, and the
- 38:47Speaker 3: Speaker of the House has enormous institutional authority. The questions
- 38:52Speaker 3: of what is the best role for each of the
- 38:55Speaker 3: Republicans in the House are going to be questions that
- 38:57Speaker 3: the House members are going to have to decide. And
- 38:59Speaker 3: I'm sure if that's a question being asked about Jim Jordan,
- 39:02Speaker 3: I imagine Jim will be answering that question to his colleagues,
- 39:06Speaker 3: and I expect a whole lot of conversations on between
- 39:10Speaker 3: all the House Republicans throughout this weekend and throughout next week,
- 39:15Speaker 3: and my guess is we'll see multiple ballots and we'll
- 39:20Speaker 3: see what ultimately comes up.
- 39:22Speaker 1: It's going to be very interesting. We're going to cover
- 39:24Speaker 1: it here. Don't forget. We do this show Monday, Wednesdays
