- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time to y'all don't know y'all bat
- 0:09Speaker 1: have all sung looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:14Speaker 1: just like the moking buck things. And it's to y'all
- 0:19Speaker 1: to be true. Good it, Steve guy, listen to me
- 0:26Speaker 1: together for still far to moy Why don't you joy? Yeah,
- 0:41Speaker 1: well mobyya joining me honey, said you gotta do turn
- 1:05Speaker 1: let them go? Yeah you you you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn the time lobby got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your back at it. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. A good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know. I think
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'll explain something y'all. You know when I when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and I say, dig me now,
- 2:19Speaker 1: what I'm asking you to do is it's old school,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know, man, And you know you say old people
- 2:23Speaker 1: say I did you know? Never stop saying it? Sorry,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but dig me now. It's just I want you to
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't you really feel me? I want you to understand
- 2:34Speaker 1: what I'm saying because really, this morning inspiration is all
- 2:38Speaker 1: given in the spirit of sharing and love. It ain't
- 2:41Speaker 1: about to expose me in any way. That's not the
- 2:44Speaker 1: purpose of it. But I found that in my morning
- 2:48Speaker 1: inspiration that it is best that I use some things
- 2:51Speaker 1: about myself, because I mean, what better example can I use?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Because I know me, I know what's happened to me,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I know exactly how I felt all along the way
- 3:00Speaker 1: concerning almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now
- 3:04Speaker 1: fully do really understand why God had my life spend
- 3:09Speaker 1: the way it spun. And here's the part that I
- 3:11Speaker 1: want to give to you this morning, that first of all,
- 3:15Speaker 1: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:18Speaker 1: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:22Speaker 1: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Thoughts turned into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:33Speaker 1: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:35Speaker 1: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:42Speaker 1: direct opposite is true. For those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:48Speaker 1: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's it's
- 3:53Speaker 1: as simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down
- 3:58Speaker 1: any cleaner, I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts become things.
- 4:05Speaker 1: So the one glaring question for all of us always
- 4:09Speaker 1: is on a daily basis. What are you thinking? What
- 4:13Speaker 1: are your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Because I can assure you and it's not by a
- 4:23Speaker 1: promise of mind. This is not a theory that Steve
- 4:26Speaker 1: Harvey then came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 4:31Speaker 1: This is biblical, This is spiritual, This is written, this
- 4:36Speaker 1: is philosophical. This is the law of the universe. However,
- 4:40Speaker 1: you need to drink this medicine to take to get
- 4:43Speaker 1: it down and feel what I'm saying to you. This
- 4:47Speaker 1: is just the way it is now and here the
- 4:49Speaker 1: cold part, folks. It don't matter if you believe me
- 4:54Speaker 1: or not. It does not matter if you have never
- 4:58Speaker 1: been explained this or not. And it does not matter
- 5:02Speaker 1: if you think it works in your life or not.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: it is. It is a scriptural, it is a spiritual,
- 5:13Speaker 1: it is philosophical. It's just whatever the law of the
- 5:17Speaker 1: universe you call whatever you want call. However, you got
- 5:20Speaker 1: to dress this thing up to put it in the
- 5:23Speaker 1: phase that you can feel me. I want you to
- 5:25Speaker 1: feel me now, because this is all it is. So
- 5:28Speaker 1: when I say that you are where we are today,
- 5:32Speaker 1: because we thought ourselves here, are your best to believe
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's true. You thought yourself here, no one else. See.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:43Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I keep pointing and and trying to say it out
- 5:57Speaker 1: loud as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:10Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 1: of people around me want credit for and want you
- 6:15Speaker 1: to not give credit to God and give it to them.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I got that. I got that, but I understand that. See,
- 6:22Speaker 1: I understand what that is. That's a person whose design
- 6:27Speaker 1: is to get the credit. But it's okay. It's so
- 6:31Speaker 1: clear to me what my father was saying to me. Man,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I get it. As I get older and older, he
- 6:36Speaker 1: always said to me, son, everybody come with you can't
- 6:39Speaker 1: go with you, see every you know, I don't know
- 6:43Speaker 1: how people say that in church. You know, sometimes they
- 6:45Speaker 1: go with people come into your life for seasons, and
- 6:48Speaker 1: I I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:50Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then here
- 6:54Speaker 1: the way they try to hold you though, or you're
- 6:56Speaker 1: gonna forget where you come from. Oh, you ain't gonna
- 7:00Speaker 1: keep it real no more. And so you find yourself
- 7:04Speaker 1: trying to not forget where you come from and keep
- 7:07Speaker 1: it real no more. But to what end is it
- 7:10Speaker 1: to the good of your end? Or is it to
- 7:12Speaker 1: the good of the end? To what end is keeping
- 7:14Speaker 1: it real and not forgetting where you come from if
- 7:18Speaker 1: it does not allow you to progress and move forward.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I got where I come from. I don't want to
- 7:24Speaker 1: stay that no more. I don't forget where I come from.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I know full well what I've been through. But that's
- 7:29Speaker 1: what drives me, because I don't want to go back
- 7:32Speaker 1: to that. That's the push for me. I don't want
- 7:35Speaker 1: that no more. I don't want to go back where
- 7:38Speaker 1: I come from. I don't want to keep it that
- 7:40Speaker 1: real no more. It was real enough for me living
- 7:43Speaker 1: in the car. I had enough of that real. I'm
- 7:46Speaker 1: gonna keep it real now. I don't keep it real.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I wanna go keep it dreamy. I want to go
- 7:50Speaker 1: keep it fantasize it. I want I wanna I want
- 7:53Speaker 1: to keep it out of this world. I want to
- 7:55Speaker 1: keep it off the chain. I want to keep it moving.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I want to keep it ball and I want to
- 7:59Speaker 1: see that's like so naw, I ain't gonna forget where
- 8:03Speaker 1: I come from, but you ain't gonna hold me to
- 8:05Speaker 1: that though See, thoughts become things all day long? Where's
- 8:11Speaker 1: your vision board? Where are the things that you won't
- 8:15Speaker 1: written down? What do you think about the most? How
- 8:19Speaker 1: grateful are you for what all God has done it
- 8:22Speaker 1: for you? Where are you at with that? See? Here
- 8:26Speaker 1: here another law. If thoughts become things, huh oh, he'll
- 8:33Speaker 1: come to moment, y'all. If thoughts become things, let me
- 8:37Speaker 1: ask you this. If all you're thinking about is your debt,
- 8:42Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 8:45Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about or is old, woe is me?
- 8:49Speaker 1: If all you're thinking about is every time I turn around,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm sick. If all you thinking about it's the things
- 8:57Speaker 1: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you're thinking about,
- 9:04Speaker 1: And if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 9:10Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in? How much? How much how much
- 9:13Speaker 1: lacking you thank you feel to feel your life with
- 9:17Speaker 1: how much most stuff you feel to not have because
- 9:21Speaker 1: you keep thinking about it all the time. When you're
- 9:25Speaker 1: gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when
- 9:29Speaker 1: you when it's gonna come out your mouth. Man, that
- 9:33Speaker 1: I may not be where I want to be, but
- 9:34Speaker 1: I show am grateful for what you've given me so far,
- 9:38Speaker 1: for the things I have today, because I don't have
- 9:41Speaker 1: to have these things. You know that does? That then
- 9:44Speaker 1: opens up room for more stuff to come your way.
- 9:48Speaker 1: To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna be ungrateful, man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: let me ask you something. I ain't God, I don't
- 9:54Speaker 1: claim to be, But let me ask you something. Man,
- 9:57Speaker 1: If you're ungrateful for the things we've got, if we
- 10:00Speaker 1: can't show no gratitude for what what we have, why
- 10:04Speaker 1: would God give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 10:08Speaker 1: What would he do that for? Man, I blessed you
- 10:11Speaker 1: with that. You ain't like that I gave you this.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing to me about that. You you
- 10:16Speaker 1: ain't feeling me on this right here. So I'll tell
- 10:18Speaker 1: you what. Man, Let me stop giving this dude something
- 10:21Speaker 1: because he just over here he ain't glad for nothing.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Because if I give him some more, he's gonna be
- 10:26Speaker 1: mad about that too. Tell anybody feel me right now.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So when I say come on, y'all, dig me, now,
- 10:34Speaker 1: do you understand why I say dig me? Because I
- 10:36Speaker 1: want you to feel me. I want you to understand
- 10:38Speaker 1: and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because
- 10:41Speaker 1: so many people got a deeper understanding than me about
- 10:43Speaker 1: this whole thing. I promise you they do, but they
- 10:46Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm just trying to get you to
- 10:48Speaker 1: walk up in this light, man, so you can go
- 10:50Speaker 1: on with your life and quit tripping yourself out with
- 10:53Speaker 1: your thoughts, because thoughts become things, all right. All days

- 12:00Speaker 1: him go over there. I want to You're right, man,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I went on Michael House one time and Bubbles was
- 12:09Speaker 1: in there, and he treats Bubbles like a person. Bubbles, dope,
- 12:17Speaker 1: Bubbles look just like my unt. Stop that. No, I'm
- 12:24Speaker 1: not gonna stop that. And you know why, Tom, because
- 12:26Speaker 1: an Agnes is in all of my jokes because she
- 12:31Speaker 1: was hateful to me as a child. Every time I
- 12:35Speaker 1: want to do a fat or ugly joke, it's huh,
- 12:39Speaker 1: you ain't gonna have a being there with your little
- 12:41Speaker 1: stupid study itself. Damn man, who want to go to
- 12:46Speaker 1: the stove for a nickel? Me? And I'll be all
- 12:50Speaker 1: day waiting on it to come back because you're down
- 12:53Speaker 1: there studying for fifteen minutes. Hell, you go to the
- 12:57Speaker 1: stoke and earned the nickel. Oh helpful. So all of

- 33:29Speaker 1: and thank you very much guys, and good morning. Okay,
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'm starting out with some wonderful news. North Korea has
- 33:36Speaker 1: returned the remains believed to be of fifty five U.
- 33:39Speaker 1: S troops killed during the Korean War, and that brings
- 33:41Speaker 1: renude hope to families who have waited decades for closure.
- 33:45Speaker 1: They're going to be doing DNA testing on the remains.
- 33:48Speaker 1: The return of those remains brought to a US base
- 33:50Speaker 1: in South Korea now is the latest movement that cautious
- 33:53Speaker 1: diplomacy between Washington and Pyongyang. The repatriation was agreed to
- 33:58Speaker 1: at that June summit between President Ump and North Korea's
- 34:01Speaker 1: Kim John Unn, and it's hoped that more will follow.
- 34:04Speaker 1: House Conservatives are in a fight with the US Justice
- 34:06Speaker 1: Department of a document request. How Speaker Paul Ryan says
- 34:09Speaker 1: the d o J is working on fulfilling Republican request
- 34:12Speaker 1: for more documents related to the FBI probes into Hillary
- 34:15Speaker 1: Clinton's email server and the FBI's probes into the Trump
- 34:19Speaker 1: campaign's contact with the Russians. Now, to GOP represents are
- 34:22Speaker 1: actually calling for Deputy Attorney General Rod rosen Stain's impeachment. However,
- 34:26Speaker 1: how Speaker Paul Ryan says he not with that. Do
- 34:28Speaker 1: I support impeachment of Rod Rosenstein No, I do not.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I do not for a number of reasons. First, um,
- 34:34Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think we should be cavalier with
- 34:36Speaker 1: this process or with this term number one, number two.
- 34:40Speaker 1: I don't think that this rises the level of high
- 34:42Speaker 1: crimes and misdemeanors, so I really high standard. One of
- 34:45Speaker 1: the main sponsors of the impeachment effort, Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan,
- 34:49Speaker 1: happens to be uh and he's already announced his bid
- 34:51Speaker 1: by the way, to become speaker after Paul Ryan retires.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Just so happens now, the President Trump of the European
- 34:56Speaker 1: Union have agreed to hold off from retaliatory taris for
- 34:58Speaker 1: now levi's which were affecting U S agriculture or of
- 35:01Speaker 1: steel and aluminum products. Trump spoke to farmers in Iowa
- 35:04Speaker 1: yesterday and told them how he got the EU to
- 35:06Speaker 1: continue to buy American again, at least for what I
- 35:09Speaker 1: said to the Europeans. I said to favor, would you
- 35:12Speaker 1: go out to the farms in Iowa and all the
- 35:14Speaker 1: different places in the Midwestern you buy a lot of
- 35:16Speaker 1: soybeans right now? Because what that whole soybean thing is
- 35:19Speaker 1: now going to be opened up. No tariffs, no nothing,
- 35:22Speaker 1: free trade. I call it free and friends, see that's
- 35:24Speaker 1: called free trade. Farmers have taken a financial hit ever
- 35:27Speaker 1: since Trump slapped taribs on imported steel and aluminum because
- 35:30Speaker 1: in response to Europeans and Canadians and Chinese and the
- 35:32Speaker 1: Mexicans imposed levies on American goods like soybeans and stuff. Okay,
- 35:37Speaker 1: doesn't look like the former CEO and founder of Papa
- 35:39Speaker 1: John's Pieces ready to disappear just yet. John Snatter is
- 35:43Speaker 1: now suing the Piece of Chain, accusing the company of
- 35:46Speaker 1: not providing access for his attorneys two documents in which
- 35:49Speaker 1: he's accused of inappropriate behavior that John Stanna was asked
- 35:52Speaker 1: to step down as chairman of the board or recently
- 35:54Speaker 1: over his use of the N word and allegedly detailing
- 35:58Speaker 1: description of how he said white people we used to
- 36:00Speaker 1: murder black people when he was growing up in Indiana
- 36:02Speaker 1: during the company conference call. It was over a sensitivity
- 36:05Speaker 1: training of all things, and that's when. But there were
- 36:08Speaker 1: other problems earlier and before against Snatter. So now he's
- 36:12Speaker 1: fighting back and he says he shouldn't have stepped down.
- 36:14Speaker 1: He wants to know why. Finally, the next class of
- 36:17Speaker 1: Kennedy Senator Honors has been announced. It includes the jazz
- 36:20Speaker 1: lession Wayne Shorter. It includes a country music star Reba McIntyre,

- 55:21Speaker 1: here it is strawberry all right. Subject should I overlook
- 55:27Speaker 1: his trust issues? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty two
- 55:30Speaker 1: year old divorced mother of five. Recently I met the
- 55:33Speaker 1: man that I am now in love with the chemistry
- 55:37Speaker 1: was bananas from the moment we met. He accepted my
- 55:41Speaker 1: children with no problem. To top it all off, he's tall, dark, handsome,
- 55:46Speaker 1: and the sex is so good it brought a tear
- 55:50Speaker 1: to my eye one night. When we met, he was
- 55:53Speaker 1: unemployed and living with his grandma, but he won me
- 55:56Speaker 1: over with his persistence and great personality. I encouraged and
- 56:01Speaker 1: helped him complete a training program and then start a career. Well,
- 56:05Speaker 1: here's the dilemma. He is extremely jealous. Any missteps on
- 56:10Speaker 1: my behalf, such as a missed call or delayed text response,
- 56:14Speaker 1: he starts to act crazy. He goes into a fit
- 56:16Speaker 1: of rage and he says really hurtful things. He's called
- 56:20Speaker 1: me a b a whore flut, and he accuses me
- 56:24Speaker 1: of cheating on him. His ex wife cheated on him
- 56:27Speaker 1: with his brother, so he has serious trust issues. He's
- 56:31Speaker 1: crazy jealous and insecure behavior. It's crazy jealous and insecure
- 56:35Speaker 1: behavior breaks my heart. I never even considered cheating on him.
- 56:40Speaker 1: What can I do to get this man to trust me?
- 56:43Speaker 1: This really sucks. Please advise you are so correct. This
- 56:47Speaker 1: does really suck. But please know that this has absolutely
- 56:51Speaker 1: nothing to do with you. All right, this tall, dark
- 56:54Speaker 1: and handsome loser is insecure and he's controlling. He's taking
- 57:00Speaker 1: it out all on you. He's taking all of this
- 57:02Speaker 1: out on you. Here you are having done everything for him,
- 57:05Speaker 1: you know, with the with the training program, helping him
- 57:08Speaker 1: start a career, in all of this, and this is
- 57:11Speaker 1: the thanks you get. How dare he treat you like this? Uh?
- 57:14Speaker 1: You know, by being so ungrateful. I just say to you, please,
- 57:18Speaker 1: don't let his bad behavior uh to start you to
- 57:22Speaker 1: you know, to be less confident, have it start taking
- 57:25Speaker 1: away your shine. I don't think no man is worth
- 57:28Speaker 1: going through all of this. You ask, what can you
- 57:30Speaker 1: do to get him to treat you, uh, to trust you?
- 57:34Speaker 1: You're doing it, and you've done it. Okay, what else
- 57:37Speaker 1: can you do? I mean, you don't have to do
- 57:40Speaker 1: anything else. I think you've done quite enough. I'm concerned
- 57:43Speaker 1: that he can get violent with this abusive behavior that
- 57:46Speaker 1: he's displaying if it continues. I just say, remember you
- 57:49Speaker 1: have five kids, and that I'm assuming a rather young
- 57:53Speaker 1: uh and impressionable since you're your yourself are only thirty two. Uh,
- 57:58Speaker 1: they're watching everything you do, so I say, be smart
- 58:00Speaker 1: and get out while you can and while you still
- 58:03Speaker 1: have your dignity. Okay, he's disrespectful and he doesn't deserve
- 58:07Speaker 1: a woman like you. Well, one thing is for sure.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Don't nobody see these letters like me? I like to
- 58:16Speaker 1: dig up under the letter and find out what's really
- 58:18Speaker 1: going on. Should overlook his trust issues? The beginning of
- 58:24Speaker 1: the letters quite clear to me. I'm a thirty two
- 58:28Speaker 1: year old divorced mother of five. Recently I met this
- 58:32Speaker 1: man that I'm in love with. Now. The chemistry was
- 58:36Speaker 1: bananas from the moment we met. That's a young term.
- 58:40Speaker 1: It's bananas. It's bananas. That's a young term. The chemistry
- 58:47Speaker 1: was bananas. Nobody describes if they love like asked bananas,
- 58:55Speaker 1: Steve Taquito. Just ain't a good look when your relationship
- 59:03Speaker 1: in chemistry is bananas. That's all it is. Ain't Nobody
- 59:11Speaker 1: mentioned love in this letter, though, so but gus causing
- 59:14Speaker 1: ain't there yet? It's just bananas, all right? He accepted
- 59:21Speaker 1: my children with no problem. Yeah that was big. Yeah
- 59:29Speaker 1: that's five. That's big. Give him some credit to top
- 59:34Speaker 1: it off. He's tall, dog handsome, and the sex is good.
- 59:38Speaker 1: It bought a tear to my eye one night. I've
- 59:40Speaker 1: explained to you why I was so good, because it
- 59:45Speaker 1: starts coming out in the letter, why his sex was
- 59:48Speaker 1: so good when we met? Here we go right after
- 59:52Speaker 1: you say the sex was so good. Here the reason
- 59:55Speaker 1: why when we met he was Una Floyd living with
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: his grandma. This boy that's growing for a preason? Here
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: where to him? This, this all this explained the whole
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: top of the letter. You ain't got to wonder why
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: the sector is so good and bought a tear to
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: your eye. He needs somewhere to stay. He in hire.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Humping for Homes is a new show that I'm gonna do.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: It's called hum for Home. This is when you ain't
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: got nowhere and you got to put it out to
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: get yourself somewhere. I'm gonna find it. I'm gonna show
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you all, ladies, honey. Well, I'm gonna find a bunch
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: of unemployed men that stay in their mama's and grandmama's basement.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: And if they don't come in here and bring a
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: tear to your eye, they get somewhere to stay. You
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna believe in love and you're gonna get It's
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: a new show. It's called Humping for Home. That's why
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: it was so good, a tear to your eye. He's
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: staying at grandmama house. He ain't working. Men that ain't
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: working got time to hold their skills. He ain't ever
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: time he rested. Yeah, he got plenty, He got plenty
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: of downe of my else on him. He started, He
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: got stuff backed up in him for months. Not very
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: many women want an unemployed man. You did. Now he
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and here humping for homes. Now he'd have brought a
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: tear to your eye. I ain't on the floor. Yeah,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: while he humping so good. We have two of Steve's
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: response coming up at I've been homeless, I have humped
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: for homes twenty three after the hour you're listening Steve
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Morning Show, come on, King of Comedy yourself. Steve Well
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: to this letter talking about shot out overlook his trust.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: She'd have met this man. She's been in love with chemistry,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: with bananas, just bananas from the just. But now that's bananas.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: It's a monkey love. He accepted my children with no problem.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: She had the born mother five uh. To top it off,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: he's tall, dog handsome, and the sex is so good.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: It brought a tear to my eye. Then she told
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: us why because he's right after that. When we met,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: he was unemployed in living with his grandmama. How his
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: sex ain't gonna be good. He got tired, he all,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: he ain't ever tied, he ain't got nowhere to be,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and he stayed with his grandmama's house, which is now
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: caused us. Me and j and Kilgo produced a new
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: hit show, Humping for Homes. This is where we take
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: unemployed me and ain't working and show you how knew
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: its sex. They can give out because they have the time.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: All right now, you said, But he warned me over
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: with his persistence and great personality. Hen he's gonna be nice.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Hard to be rude. You ain't got the house. I've
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: been a homeless and nice and I've ever been. I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: can't be rude. You stay in your car? How are
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you doing? How you doing today? So I'm absolutely fine, ma'am?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: How are you? People I wouldn't even speak to was
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: very kind to him because they could be they could
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: be sheltered. Everybody looking at his shelter. Yeah, everybody, everybody
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: was speaking to me. I had a key, I didn't
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: This could be meal out of a plate, TV on
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the wall, all out. So I encouraged and helped him
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: complete a training program and then start a career. Okay,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: hold on, if it happened that, let's quit talks training programming, career. Yeah,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you took him down that, you took him down there
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: he fried know, all of a sudden, he just a
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: training programs is two weeks she and he's embellishing that. Yeah,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: so he got a career. He's extremely jealous. Any misstep
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: on my half, such as a miscall the delayed Tex
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: respond he starts and that being crazy. Let's just go
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: back to why you're his home now, he got somewhere
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to live. What you mean you ain't asking no tech,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you move, You don't answer my Tex, you won't me.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I called you Mr phone call, you won't answer me.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: He goes into a fitter rage. He says, it's really
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: hurtful thing. He's called me a b or hor a slut,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: and he accuses me of cheating on him. His ex
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: wife cheated on him with his brother. This ain't got
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: nothing do with you. He was. He's referring to you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: as to what he's referring to his ex wife ass
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: because that's what he called her after she cheated with him.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: With his brother. Your real issue was with both of them.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: But I'm gonna beat my brother, asked him. He gotta Yeah,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: your brother gonna get his ass. For now, Me and
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: you weint cool. No more, We ain't gonna talk. I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: got all that. But my brother, though he's gonna get,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: he gonna get the flesh stumped off him. The flesh
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: stumped off him, and he knowed that he already note that. Yeah,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: now his ex wife cheating up to his brother he
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: has He's crazy, jealous and insecure. Behavior breaks my heart.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: I never even considered cheating on him. What can I
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: do to get this man to trust me? This really sucks.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: You can't get this man to trust you if you've
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: done nothing to make the man do have You've done
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: nothing to cause mistrust in the man. What can you
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: do to get him to trust you? What else can
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: you do? You're not doing anything wrong and he don't
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: trust you. What can you do more right to get
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: him to trust you? When he don't trust you and
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you ain't done nothing? This is not a win situation.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: You're dealing with the person with some serious issues. Well,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: now you know why you didn't found Mr Tall, dog
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: and Handsome and he was available. Where is this outstanding man?
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: He was unemployed. He was staying at his grandmama's house.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: His mama even told him, you can't stay that grandmother.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Grandmama told you, you can't stay here with the mama. First,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: you can't stay here, boy, pull yourself together. Might have
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: a daddy or somebody even to come back up. Been here,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: get your lands together. He would ride over the grandma's
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: house because we he weak and he insecued. Now listen
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: to me. You're not going to be able to win
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: this man's trust because you've done everything that trustworthy people do,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: which is you've been loyal, committed, and you're giving him
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: what he needs. You're giving him he's getting good sex,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: but he's also getting a place to come to the key,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: getting the key he's never had that. He ain't had
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: that since win his wife and she slept with his brother.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: She found out he was nothing to said, well, hell,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: let me try. I'd have made a mistake with him.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Let me try brother brother. They're all good looking people, Yeah,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: they are, the whole family. Probably tall dog and handsome
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: that his mama is tall dog and handsome. Problems doctor, Yeah,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: just two people. The people in that house. This is
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: all bad. Lady. You should get out of this situation
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: because it's not a win win. See, re get ain't
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: a person's trust is one thing. Having a person's trust
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: and you've done done nothing to get his mistrust is
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: a whole another issue. What else can you do? You've
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: done nothing wrong, So what do you have nothing to fix?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: You're trying to fix something that shouldn't even require fixing
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: because it ain't broke. But he accusing you of being
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: a b a hole, a slot at all this because
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: he's talking about this ex messing with his brother and
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: now you it and until he get past him issues,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you should run the other way. Thank you very much.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Saturday nights you'll forget to join me this coming Thursday
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: for Facebook Live at one thirty pm Eastern Time. You're
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show. Here's a question for you. Okay,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: not for you so much, but just in general and
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: for some people particularly on the show. Uh, do you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: know what you're looking for in a future spouse? If
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: you talk, I can hear Jay in my mind, But listen,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: if you've been dating long enough to figure to have
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: figured out if you've been dating long enough to have
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: figured out what you like and need and a serious
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: partner and uh, we have a mental list of those qualities, Steve.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: So this could be for Jay and Junior. No no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: we an't gotta do that. Let's ask Yeah, that's right. Yeah,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: that would be way better than the list, Junior, What
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: are you looking for in a quality mate? Somebody don't
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: talk as much? Got up something to talk about? Come on,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I mean we talk all day for a living. I
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: don't really want to talk that much. Just you know,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: let me be look at me. You want a quiet woman? Quiet?
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Guess what happened at work today? Who did you hear? What?
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Someone so sick? Guess what that had? Yeah, it's the
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: same thing every week. Yeah, but you gotta listen. They
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: want support, they want a sounding board, you know, just
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: dude like my husband. He goes saying that. Well, Monica,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: don't stop, I'm telling y'all. Oh and we got the
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: same tone too, you Yeah, we're on the same loop.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: So is it happened? What happened? So? Is that it?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I mean, just if she doesn't talk a lot, surely
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: it would be perfect. Wow, that's it. If she doesn't well,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you short. It don't sound good. She tried
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: to talk sexy. You don't sound good. How I don't
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: like that. I've heard that before. You know what, Let's
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: let her talk sexy. Think everything that comes out of
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: her mouth is sexy. She heard herself played back on TV.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: She got stepped outside your head here. Yeah, your voice
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: really doesn't sound like what you think. It sounds like.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Hey baby, Yeah that right now? To be quiet? Yeah,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: so junior, and as much and a partner when you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: when you think about getting serious, you want someone who
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: doesn't talk as much because you talk a lot for
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: a living. So you you like quiet, just quiet? Okay,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get quiet with Misssippi Montic can't tell
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you that right now. What about a fine deaf girl? Girl?
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Come on team Tommy? What he wants? What you need? No,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I'm just asking, how does it a fine deaf girl?
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Is that? Does that work for you? I mean, you're
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: not gonna really talk about that. Some jokes but I
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: ain't gonna do it. But they're not Donna. Yeah, I
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: mean you know what, they're not gonna get done. And
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: none of it No, too far, I know mine. That's
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: don't make you all right? Okay, so maybe we don't
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: want to hear We can't hear your jokes, J, because
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: we know they're going to be on the edge, like
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you and your friend Mr Harvey over there. Yes, but
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: but in a spouse hypothetically who are you talking to
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: hypothetically speaking, Steve? I wanted to ask J just if
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: he were to be thinking considering a stound finish this,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I asked you when you started turn my Mike off,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: what are you so touchy about this? Ye? No, no, no,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I mean I don't ask for much on the show,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: but do my job and I just leave. I don't like,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: can I have or give me one of th old
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you're gonna come in town when I say, cut my
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: damn Mike? Set it out material for more money and nothing?
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Don't you know? I don't you know? I need a laptop?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I asked, not like on this show? Do you have
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: me to do something done? You have no problems I'm
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: gonna ask for from time to time. I'm gonna ask
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: you cut my damn Mike. You have to participate in
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: our with you. But we don't want to hear wifey
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: material qualities. We just want to hear from you, come on,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: give us one, give us one man? You know what?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Then when I started cussing, let he's so evil and hitter. Yeah,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: what he don't need. I've never known a person who
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: can't even consider even talking about a hypothetical situation. Is
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Mary and I am teams. He's been married at least
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: three but it's not even real though. Just pretend we'll
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: ask his friend Steve. Yeah, Steven speak for Jay. Since
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: he doesn't want to participate. What he wants somebody huh
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: who don't want to stay with him? With him? What
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: kind of clue do you mean that he want a
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: relationship but he don't want nobody that wants to live
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: live house, and he wants a woman that's okay with
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: seeing him for two weeks and he can he can
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: go off for three days and come back without being questioned.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: He wants that like he's on a binger or something.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: They ask you about him three days? Can't check? You
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: be out? This normal to you? Steve. Oh the years
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: I've known him, quite quite understand. He's such an as
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: how we do and it's doing. Wow. Oh he's a
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: nice guy. He's such a sweetheart. Yeah, he just wants
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to joke all the time. Don't talk about none seeing
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: all right? Hey, listen coming up next. Sounds like he
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: nailed it the way Jay is screaming in the background.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: for for us. Uh, listen to this. What has your
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: boss done to help you live your dream? What talk about?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Let me go and sit back. What listen, We're always
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: helping our boss. Take We're always helping our company and
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: that that ain't your question about. No, you're helping me.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: The question is what is your boss done to help
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: you live your dream? And can I set it up? Please? Ye?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Hear about all that other we do this and that
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: that ain't what the damn question? Yeah, but you know
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: we gotta set it up, all right. So you know,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: we're always helping our bosses. We help our companies off
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: and we do extra work then get left in the
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: dust when our companies have bigger opportunities. But some of
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: us have great bosses. Okay, trying to get to this part, Steve,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: some of us have great bosses. Uh. Time for us
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: to share with Steve our boss what he did for
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: us to help us live our dream. Wants to go.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: I think Junior wants to what they got to? Let
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: me just say about my boss, leave my dream. First thing,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: my off did well? Give me jobs. First of all,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: let's just look at the job little big shots Apollo,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Steve TV and this hit Morty show. Now what else
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: do I have to thank him for? Yeah? I'm pretty good.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I'm pretty good. You're good. That's yeah, that's good. That's
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: the come up right there, and I'm comminating. I'm nominated
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: for Emmy? What else? What? Yes? Yeah? All right? The
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: question is what is your boss done to help you
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: live your dreams? Go ahead, Carla? Are you still writing
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: your list down? Because? Uh yeah, let me he don't
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: even know what Now. Tommy's going last because he's your nephew.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: He's going last. I can talk for No, he's gonna
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: go last because you're his uncle. Sure is going Yeah, okay,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I'm going. So. The first thing you've done is allow
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: me to continue being an executive manager in radio for
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: over twentysomething. Big I am the only black African American
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: woman to be running a syndicated show in this country.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: That's thanks to you. Let's see what else? And you
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: encourage me to launch my own lip class, my own
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: lip glass line. So thank you very much, entrepreneur, ownership, cosmetic,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: or group, whatever you want to say. So thank you Steve.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: That's awesome. All right, here's the question. What has your
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: boss done to help you live your dreams? All right?
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: My turn? All right? First of all, First of all,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Steve has made me laugh more than I've ever laughed
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: in my entire life, which is a great thing. I mean,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: just yeah, where to give you love? Here? You've made
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: me laugh, really laugh. Okay. Here's the other thing you've
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: done for me. You've taught me because I didn't know
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: this before I met you. You taught me about men
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: and how men think and all of this kind of thing. Okay,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: you taught me about that. I didn't know that at first.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I didn't have a dad, I didn't really have you know,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: like a lot of male role models in my life.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: So you became that for me. So you became like
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: a father, brother uncle to me as well. All right.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: And then yeah, you made me you really did, Steve.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: You gave me away of my wedding, you know, all
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: of that which culminated into me getting married and you
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: giving me away at my wedding. You know. Yeah, you
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: allowed me to help you write on your most successful book,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: your first time out. Uh you know, I mean really
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you gave me credit for that, you paid me for that.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: That was awesome, and you keep me employed every day.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: So thank you very much. Sir. We are answering the
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: question what has your boss done to help you live
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: your dreams? Nephew, Tommy, you are up. I'm gonna be
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: proud of men now. He has motivated me. And it's
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: just certain lines that he has said to me directly
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: that has just motivated me to follow Madrid. Uh custom
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: me completely out that that motivates me. Um told me
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I would Yeah, yeah, I was. That's so motivation I
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: would be. Told me I would be nothing without him. Motivate.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Just told me yesterday I was stupid and unintelligent. Something
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: said stop stopped him with you. Let him motivate me.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Motivated me to follow my dreams. Uh my ragged asked career. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: motivation on quit being a one job having sorry, asked person. Yes,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: motivated me to follow my now. And then he motivates
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: me even more when he describes how I look shout
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: highest ugly, asked man right there, and it just motivates
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: forget don't forget turtle. Yeah, I left the turtle and
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: it was like wax. But that motivate all of these
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: motivational lines. And I've got yourself to follow my dream.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: What this is your response to the question, what is
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: your boss done to help you live your dreams? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: that's it right there. I have been pusted into my dream.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Let me see how you feel. How you feelthy you
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: know some of the stuff I have forgotten. I appreciate
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: you all remember it, but you know, I do have
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: a strange way of motivating that time. But I am
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: in the uplift business. It just aggravates me when the
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: person I'm trying to uplift don't want to be lifted up.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Then I turned on them get you know. And but
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you all have turned out to be wonderful people and

- 1:26:26Speaker 1: But come on, Steve JA right now. It is time
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: for comedy Roulette. Alright, goes like this. You give us
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: five subjects, put them on a wheel, spun the wheel
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: where the wheel stopel alright you guys, ready, all right,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: let's go Number one being dumped, Number two, bed wedding,
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: the bad games, bad games for for all old music.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: I like that one music. Okay, Number five, I'm not
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: the bank. Okay, the bank. Okay, it's stopped on old music, guys, music,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: old music. Back in the day, when we had to
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: go through to get our music, it's not as simple
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: as it is today. What we went through to get
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: our music. It wasn't no download. You wanted to record something,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: you take your recorder, you put it in front the radio,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: let it on record and pause and wait for the
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: DJ to shut the hell up, so you can get
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: the damn sound. That's what you had. You shut up,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to records. Stop talking. You know I like
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: about old music. Old music was was real subtle. You
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: said what you wanted to say in a real subtle way.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: See you, you know, you know mystery, you know in
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: between the sheets. You know that's real subtle. When you
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: say it with old music today is straight out I'm
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: about to dive in. That's the song. You do it
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: like that. It wasn't done that way. But when you
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: lose old music, when your cassette and all the ribbon
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: hanging out and that's the that's the last of it
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: you got. You got to go find you a number
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: two pence sticking in that cassette and get the turning
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: that pence to get that ribbon back in there so
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: you can play your old music your side. Real simple.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: If you just wanted some music, what no, down long,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: what no, put your thumb on here and by you
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: had to walk your ass to Mr Ts or Georgian Music. Yeah,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: you had to talk, come on and by the damn
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: album defarted five, the cassette or the eight track, you
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: had to walk and purchase it. Cat back home and
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: hope it plays. If you did not know the name
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: of the song, come on, you had to go to
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: the record store and you'd say, do you have that
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: song by? I don't know who was by? He said,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: I go you will go down. I don't know that. Oh,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: come on to back. See what he says. Did you
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: notice song and sing it again? He coming up. Steve's
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: closing remarks at forty nine after the hour, you're listening
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, this Monday morning,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: the winning continues at seven twenty eastern, six twenties Central.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: We are giving away a chance to win Steve Harvey's
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: grand prize of one million dollars. That is big We're
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: gonna play. Are you smarter than nephew Tommy? Steve Harvey,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: You've brought your fabulous uh and very insightful, very informal,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: very motivating closing remarks. Back is something that you started
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: years ago when you first started the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: And people have grown to love them and and you
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: know to live by them and be inspired by them.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: So what do you have for us real good piece
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: of motivation that makes your quest to become successful a
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: little bit simpler. You know, oftentimes people are stuck in
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: a rut because they can't think, they way clear to
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: see the end result. What I mean by is some
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: people make such lofty goals and then they sit there
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: without a plan of attack to achieve that lofty goal,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: until they've created a goal that seems so daunting that
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: they don't even start the process of a trying to
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: accomplish it. For example, And this doesn't have to be
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: the case. I'm just using this as an example. Let's
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: say you want to be a millionaire, and you say, wow,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: I want to make a million dollars, and then you
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: start thinking of how to make the million dollars, and
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: because you can't, it becomes so daunting. Making a million
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: dollars is difficult. If it were easy, wouldn't you do
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: it by Friday? Wouldn't you? Of course you would, But
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: it's a little more difficult than that. So here's what
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: I had to learn in my life. Everybody listening to
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: this was born with a gift. It's inside of you.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: Because God is very fair. He didn't put it on
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: a mountaintop, he didn't hide it under a rock. It's
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: in you, and your gift is the thing that you
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: do the absolute best with the least amount of effort.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: In that lies your greatest chance for success. There's a
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: scripture that says your gift will make room for you
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: and put you in the presence of great men. Let's
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: just look at the first part of that, your gift
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: will make room for you. My interpretation of that has
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: meant what my gift has done for me. It has
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: allowed me to spread out, It has taken me places
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: I never dreamed got gold. Your gift will do the
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: same thing for you. So now let's just talk about
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: your ability to get to the million. I think it's
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: with your gift, because if that's what that he gave
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: you and instill that you at birth, was to make
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: room for you, here's your chance. Now how do I
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: do that? Steve? I call it to maximize your effort
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: by ten theory. It's just something I came up with
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: driving when I was home listening, coming up without to
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: make it, and I discovered something. All of you have
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: something that some would pay you ten dollars to do.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: Some of you paint, some of you teach some of
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: your babysit tutors, some of you work with your hands.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: Some of you can sing, some of you can choreograph.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: Some of you there's so many things. Cut grass, I mean,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: play the pianos. Some of you do something, some of
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: your work on cars, some of y'all dry. But all
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: of you have something that you will do that someone
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: will give you ten dollars to do. All of you
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: have something that someone will pay you ten dollars to
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: because you do something that someone else can't do. So
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: now all you gotta do instead of trying to figure
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: out how to make a million dollars, it's go make
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: the ten dollars that you're able to make. Once you
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: make that ten dollars, I want you to do it
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: ten more times. When you do it ten more times,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: you now have a hundred dollars. Once you have a
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: hundred dollars, it's very simple, do the same thing you
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: did to make the hundred dollars ten more times. You
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: now have one thousand dollars. So you don't have to
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: keep thinking of something else to do. Just keep doing
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: the same thing that you've been doing. Just do it.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Multiply the effort. It's the effort that maximizes and and
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: brings about the fruition of what your life can be. So,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: if you make a thousand dollars and you do that
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: ten more times, I have news for you. Not have
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars now. Now, in order to make a
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: hundred thousand, you might need a little bit of help.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: You might need to hire somebody to help you do
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: the thing that you do. But if you make ten
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: thousand dollars and you do what you did to make
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars, which is the same thing you did
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: to make ten dollars, if you do it ten more times,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: you now have a hundred thousand dollars. Now listen to me,
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: my friends, Once you have a hundred thousand dollars, I
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: could have sure you you're going to need help because
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: in order to maximize a hundred thousand dollars, you have
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: to have some like minded people around you. Nobody gets
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: to the top alone. Nobody becomes successful and wealthy by themselves.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: They're forming partnerships, relationships, they get employees. But once you
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: make a hundred thousand dollars doing the same thing you
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: did to make ten dollars, if you do it ten
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: more times, I have news for you, my friends. Congratulations,
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: you have just made one million dollars with a ten
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: dollar idea. Stop trying to figure out how to make
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: the million. What all you gotta do is take your
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: ten dollar gifts that God has put in you. It's
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: a million dollar gift that you have. You just haven't
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: broken it down inch by inch anything that sinch, and
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: maximize the efforts. That's how you become successful. These jokes
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: that pay me what I make now, it's the same
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: jokes that pay me twenty five dollars a night. They're
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: the same jokes. It's all English. I don't know no
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: more words now than I knew then. I've taken these
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: twenty five dollar jokes and I maximize them over and
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: over and over and over and over and over and over.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: It's the same jokes I was telling babysitters who charged
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: fifty dollars to watch kids. Babysitters end up opening up
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: daycare centers. Daycare centers turned into franchises, Crime Della, crime
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: monetary schools. These are national franchises. Somebody was just babysitting.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: My partner used to cut grass. First three dollars in
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: the front, three dollars in the back. He got a
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: landscape and come to Cleveland. He made four million dollars
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: a year. What is it that you do that somebody
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: will pay you ten dollars that you can maximize your
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: effort for and turn it into your millions, But trying
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: to figure out how to make the millions. Take your
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: ten dollar skills set and start hammering it and beat
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: it and working it and grinding and hustling and multiplying
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: and magnifying, and you'll make a million dollars. That's my
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: clothing with moms. Thank you all very much, Thank you.
