- 1:40Speaker 1: Got to turn the mouth. Turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn the mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Turn out a wad of the morning up looking me
- 1:55Speaker 3: come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that, Uh hush, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harton got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:12Speaker 2: today is simple. I want to tell you. I want
- 2:18Speaker 2: to just talk to you about effort today. Just about effort.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You know, it's it's it's it's a word that people
- 2:28Speaker 2: use to describe sometimes trying. But what I found out
- 2:33Speaker 2: about trying is trying is just a noble way of
- 2:37Speaker 2: saying you didn't get it done. I tried when and
- 2:43Speaker 2: then everybody go, well, he tried, that was the best.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Well that's that's not exactly true though, that that's that's
- 2:51Speaker 2: not exactly true. You are and I want to talk
- 2:54Speaker 2: to you about that because I don't want you to
- 2:57Speaker 2: be one of the people who just tried. See trying,
- 3:03Speaker 2: I mean I gotta tell you to attempt something. You're
- 3:06Speaker 2: gonna have to first try, but I want you to
- 3:09Speaker 2: change your mindset from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:15Speaker 2: that's a big difference. I'm really more apt to listen
- 3:19Speaker 2: to the person that says to me, I'm gonna get
- 3:21Speaker 2: it done. I'm gonna try. What try does is it
- 3:25Speaker 2: allows you to fail. It's the person that has the
- 3:28Speaker 2: mindset that I'm gonna get it done. It's the person
- 3:31Speaker 2: who changes the complexion of things. I'm gonna get it done.
- 3:35Speaker 2: It's very different than I'm gonna try.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Look, man, I know this sounds a little harsh, but
- 3:42Speaker 2: you gotta stop feeding yourself these little old wise sayings
- 3:47Speaker 2: that ain't It was a valiant trial. Hey man, you
- 3:51Speaker 2: talk to anybody that took second place in the super
- 3:55Speaker 2: Bowl and see how they feel about their valiant try.
- 3:58Speaker 2: The only way to gain God's real blessings is you
- 4:05Speaker 2: have to try something. Stevee backpeddling, Now, listen to me close.
- 4:13Speaker 2: You have to put forth an effort to allow God
- 4:20Speaker 2: to put his finger on something to bless on your behalf.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You must start to attempt now insaying getting it done,
- 4:30Speaker 2: and I'm gonna try. That's a different of two different
- 4:34Speaker 2: faiths to me that I'm just talking about me. Now,
- 4:37Speaker 2: you may be different, so I can't say this about you,
- 4:41Speaker 2: but I can say this about me. If I say
- 4:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna get it done, I have a lot of
- 4:49Speaker 2: faith in it. I am going to get it done
- 4:53Speaker 2: because I just don't see failure as an option. A
- 4:56Speaker 2: lot of times now if somebody says to me, like
- 5:00Speaker 2: the Olympic team invited me out to curl one day,
- 5:03Speaker 2: which is throw these stones on the ice, if you're
- 5:06Speaker 2: not familiar with this very simple thing, and so I said, man,
- 5:12Speaker 2: I'd like to give that a try. I went in
- 5:17Speaker 2: full well knowing I may not come away from this
- 5:20Speaker 2: little curling lesson as a person who could make the
- 5:25Speaker 2: Olympic team. I just wanted to try it because I
- 5:28Speaker 2: thought it looked cool and always wanted to get it done. Well.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I failed twice. I threw a stone completely into the
- 5:35Speaker 2: other lane. I lost that little ice shoe it shot
- 5:39Speaker 2: out under me. But you know what, I kept trying though.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I kept trying until I got four of them stones
- 5:47Speaker 2: in that circle right where I aim. But now had
- 5:51Speaker 2: I given up? After I failed? After I threw that
- 5:55Speaker 2: stone in the other lane after I shot my shoe
- 5:59Speaker 2: down all the way to the bottom side, the little
- 6:00Speaker 2: ice shoe they give you. I never did it, but
- 6:04Speaker 2: because I was trying, something got me together a little
- 6:08Speaker 2: bit because of my effort, and it caused me not
- 6:11Speaker 2: to fall the next time, not to throw it in
- 6:13Speaker 2: the other lane, not to shoot my shoe to the
- 6:16Speaker 2: back of the wall. All of a sudden, my trying
- 6:20Speaker 2: became something. Now had I stayed out there and it
- 6:24Speaker 2: wasn't so cold, and I went back week after week
- 6:27Speaker 2: after week after week, I promise you I could get
- 6:31Speaker 2: it done. I could at least know how to compete
- 6:36Speaker 2: in a game of curling. Might not be the best.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I might not win the championship, but I could have
- 6:42Speaker 2: got it done to the point where I could have
- 6:44Speaker 2: competed in a game of curling. So sometimes if you're
- 6:47Speaker 2: scared to say I'm gonna get it done, just go
- 6:50Speaker 2: out there and get started. You know, learn from every
- 6:54Speaker 2: attempt that you make. See, don't quit writing yourself off
- 6:58Speaker 2: as a failure every time. So don't go right. And
- 7:01Speaker 2: when I fail on that ice, I could have said, man,
- 7:03Speaker 2: I can't curl, but hold up, man, I'm watching four
- 7:06Speaker 2: other women out here curl, four of the dudes out here,
- 7:08Speaker 2: curl the little kids out here curling. Hold up, Pardner,
- 7:11Speaker 2: You know, man, So I learned when I threw that
- 7:14Speaker 2: stone on the other ice, when I failed, when when
- 7:17Speaker 2: my shoe shot off, I learned from every attempt a
- 7:21Speaker 2: little bit more about it. And then I said to
- 7:26Speaker 2: myself one point in time, man, I'm gonna get this
- 7:29Speaker 2: stone in that circle. I'm gonna get this stone in
- 7:32Speaker 2: this circle. And guess what I got it done. Now
- 7:37Speaker 2: what you're saying to me, Steve, I'm saying to you
- 7:40Speaker 2: that you gotta get started. That you got to put
- 7:43Speaker 2: forth an effort. Give God something to bless. Oh God,
- 7:46Speaker 2: bless me, Oh God, bless me. Bless you? What? Bless you? Where?
- 7:50Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:51Speaker 1: How?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 7:56Speaker 2: think higher. You get God in your life, man, He
- 7:59Speaker 2: allows you to think bigger, better more. I was sitting
- 8:04Speaker 2: up in my debt. I came up with a plan
- 8:06Speaker 2: to get out of debt in five years. I came
- 8:08Speaker 2: up with this plan right, I was sitting up and
- 8:10Speaker 2: I was tripping on it. Now. I said, wait a minute, man,
- 8:13Speaker 2: hold up, This is what I came up with. I said,
- 8:16Speaker 2: God created heaven in earth, all of it, the mountains,
- 8:23Speaker 2: the sky, the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds, the
- 8:29Speaker 2: Indian Ocean, all of it, made all of it in
- 8:32Speaker 2: six days, and then he rested on the seven. So
- 8:38Speaker 2: why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 8:43Speaker 2: If he can create heaven and earth in six days,
- 8:47Speaker 2: why am I walking in there talking about help me
- 8:49Speaker 2: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 8:54Speaker 2: years to getting me out of debt? And he made
- 8:58Speaker 2: heaven and earth in six days? Math Hell, man, I
- 9:01Speaker 2: ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't in
- 9:05Speaker 2: that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble. See,
- 9:08Speaker 2: God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 9:11Speaker 2: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 9:14Speaker 2: some effort on your part. Man, get out and do something. Man,
- 9:17Speaker 2: you God bless you a little bit, and he give
- 9:20Speaker 2: you a little bit more courage. And then all them
- 9:22Speaker 2: attempts you making is gonna and all this Oh, I'll
- 9:24Speaker 2: try you know what that turned into. I'm gonna get
- 9:27Speaker 2: it done. And at the end of the day, that's
- 9:29Speaker 2: what you have to do, because trying to pay your
- 9:32Speaker 2: rent and not paying your rent is two different things.
- 9:35Speaker 2: You can you can try to play your pay your rent,
- 9:38Speaker 2: or you can get it done. Now how long you
- 9:40Speaker 2: think you gonna stay in that house trying? You got
- 9:43Speaker 2: to go with the mindset of getting it done. And
- 9:45Speaker 2: if you can put some stuff out there and give
- 9:47Speaker 2: God a chance to put his finger on and bless
- 9:49Speaker 2: it for you the most stuff he can do for you,
- 9:51Speaker 2: quit looking around at what everybody else got and gonna
- 9:54Speaker 2: get some of it for yourself. Okay, all right.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Here listening to the Steve.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Shall, ladies and gentlemen, you know what, the time has
- 10:05Speaker 2: come to give thanks ananna to Almighty God again for
- 10:08Speaker 2: doing what he does like nobody else can. He made
- 10:11Speaker 2: another day and he allowed us to be in it. Man, man,
- 10:15Speaker 2: oh man, oh man.
- 10:17Speaker 7: You know.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Look, I know sometimes you're in as close to God
- 10:19Speaker 2: as you should be. I fall short oftentimes in that department.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I know sometimes you forget to show gratitude. I forget
- 10:27Speaker 2: that too. Sometimes Sometimes I get caught up, get up
- 10:29Speaker 2: in the morning, get a little bit busy like I
- 10:31Speaker 2: did today. But I'm gonna stop right now. Say hold up,
- 10:34Speaker 2: Steve Harvey in front of all my listeners. Thank you God.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I show appreciate it. Man, it wasn't for you. I
- 10:40Speaker 2: don't know what I do. At least I got somebody
- 10:43Speaker 2: and take all my troubles too. Had an interesting day yesterday,
- 10:47Speaker 2: but I've survived that too, Ladies and gentlemen. This is
- 10:51Speaker 2: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi,
- 10:55Speaker 2: Monica Junior and the legend Nephew Tommy Jr. What's on
- 10:59Speaker 2: your mind today?
- 11:00Speaker 6: Well?
- 11:00Speaker 2: More thing, more than everybody or you know. What's a
- 11:02Speaker 2: funny man?
- 11:04Speaker 8: How we be so focused on pushing our planing through
- 11:07Speaker 8: if it ain't working, Ain't it okay to throw that
- 11:09Speaker 8: plan out? And let's say, hey man, let me try
- 11:11Speaker 8: something out, let me ask out what we really should
- 11:13Speaker 8: be doing.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Well, I'll be trying to force a plan.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You gotta be careful now. You got to be careful
- 11:19Speaker 2: because sometimes you can give up too early. You gotta
- 11:23Speaker 2: be careful. Now. Here's what I try to do. I
- 11:26Speaker 2: try to make sure that the plan I have is
- 11:31Speaker 2: in alignment with God's plan. Now that's hard to do
- 11:34Speaker 2: sometimes because we as people, we want what we want,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and sometimes we want what we want without checking with
- 11:41Speaker 2: the Creator, which oftentimes happens to all of us, myself included.
- 11:45Speaker 2: So what I try to do is when I get
- 11:48Speaker 2: with moments like this, before I give up on anything,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I go to God about it, and usually I have
- 11:53Speaker 2: to turn around to keep going. So you got to
- 11:56Speaker 2: be careful about quitting, because that's what happens to most people.
- 11:59Speaker 2: They give up a little bit too soon. Yeah, it
- 12:01Speaker 2: always looked like it ain't gonna work. I got about
- 12:03Speaker 2: three things happening right now that started off very promising
- 12:07Speaker 2: and all of a sudden with dog. But I can't
- 12:10Speaker 2: give up. You know, I can't give up because you
- 12:14Speaker 2: never know what the turn gonna be. You see what
- 12:16Speaker 2: I'm saying. Yep, Well where you at now? I mean
- 12:19Speaker 2: what was well? You know I'm not saying I'm gonna
- 12:22Speaker 2: give up.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Ain't I gave up?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, I mean now that you said that, Yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 2: what like we could continue going with the playing. It's right.
- 12:36Speaker 8: It do feel like sometimes you do give up early,
- 12:39Speaker 8: Like you do feel like, hey, man, I don't know
- 12:40Speaker 8: what I was thinking, Or you listen to somebody to
- 12:42Speaker 8: say you like, man.
- 12:43Speaker 1: You show that's the right way.
- 12:44Speaker 2: There's a stanza in a poem called don't quit. The
- 12:48Speaker 2: Stanza says often the struggler has given up when he
- 12:54Speaker 2: might have captured the victor's cup, and he learns too late,
- 12:58Speaker 2: when the night came down how close he was to
- 13:01Speaker 2: the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out. It's
- 13:06Speaker 2: your silver tent of your clouds of doubt, and you
- 13:09Speaker 2: never can tell how close you are. It may be
- 13:13Speaker 2: near when it seems so far, so stick to the
- 13:16Speaker 2: fight when your heart is hit. It's when things seem
- 13:20Speaker 2: worse that you mustn't quit. Yeah, I learned that poem
- 13:23Speaker 2: at nineteen. The whole poem is really really almost scripture almost.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, thank you, Stephen Junior're coming up at
- 13:35Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour. We will hear from
- 13:38Speaker 1: the nephew as he runs a rank back right after this.

- 23:33Speaker 2: and and and parking it and putting it. That boy
- 23:37Speaker 2: right there, he had no choice. He had to marry her.

- 25:14Speaker 2: You're still chuckling over there.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Moving on to Pony and Durham, Uh, Pony writes, I
- 25:22Speaker 1: drink the expensive stuff.
- 25:23Speaker 2: First of all, First of all, let me, ain't nobody
- 25:27Speaker 2: named pony. Ain't nobody nicknamed pony. I've been alive a
- 25:30Speaker 2: long time. I ain't never called nobody pony.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Well, this one is pony pony, And Durham says, is
- 25:38Speaker 1: pony a girl?
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, no no, pony is
- 25:45Speaker 1: a guy, pony A pony is a guy. Yeah, pony
- 25:50Speaker 1: is a guy. Yeah, like Philip, that's Tony is his name.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I drink the expensive stuff, and so does my girl.
- 26:00Speaker 1: That's what he writes. She has a habit of inviting
- 26:02Speaker 1: her friends over to drink our top shelf bourbon that
- 26:06Speaker 1: they can't afford. So I locked the liquor cabinet. She said,
- 26:10Speaker 1: it's her liquor too. If that is the case, should
- 26:13Speaker 1: I make her buy it?
- 26:16Speaker 2: It is her liquor too, And you know you don't
- 26:20Speaker 2: want to share your little top shelf. But how much
- 26:22Speaker 2: it costs? Tell this?
- 26:26Speaker 7: Let's just say a good one, A good a good
- 26:29Speaker 7: real bottle by too something.
- 26:31Speaker 2: What's what's what's the top shelf bourbon? What is that Woodford?
- 26:35Speaker 2: But what's the one with that horse on it?
- 26:38Speaker 7: Uh?
- 26:39Speaker 2: Blinded? The one with the horse on it? Yeah, you've
- 26:45Speaker 2: seen it before. That's all that's like coming like in
- 26:50Speaker 2: like three D in the bottle. Yeah, yeah, the horse head,
- 26:55Speaker 2: I don't know, Junior, he don't know. He can't dreade.
- 26:59Speaker 2: He drans here crisis so he can't. I know he
- 27:02Speaker 2: can't drink what No, I take that. I take that
- 27:06Speaker 2: bat My bad, wrong person.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Sorry, okay, anyway, give ponies some advice.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I don't know what the tail pony may. Man, it's
- 27:17Speaker 2: her bourbon too. You done locked it up. You don't
- 27:18Speaker 2: want to give it. Hey, look man, here's what you do.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Friends by two different bourbons, one for you and your
- 27:25Speaker 2: girl and one for company. And that's all you do. Yeah,
- 27:29Speaker 2: and now y'all want this is out when the company
- 27:32Speaker 2: come over, the other one going up under.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Okay, all right, makers.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Marketed they need to, No makers. That's what the red
- 27:45Speaker 2: that ain't buy nothing. I don't even drink blanting blanterns.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah drink, I know, I don't, but I just I
- 28:01Speaker 2: just wanted to, you.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Know, getting some mess.
- 28:07Speaker 2: No really, you know, but if I drink, I'm gonna
- 28:09Speaker 2: drink top chef. I'm not gonna drink nothing. You know,
- 28:14Speaker 2: your head just dying and it because.
- 28:19Speaker 1: No that's not his issue. Well, let the friends come
- 28:22Speaker 1: over and drink.
- 28:22Speaker 2: He should buy two different bottles. You got company bourbon
- 28:25Speaker 2: and y'all bourbon if they want to keep coming over
- 28:27Speaker 2: and drink some of this. Uh you know boone farm did.
- 28:32Speaker 2: That's what we.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Drink, said the non drinker booth.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that'll stop him from coming. Right. There were out
- 28:39Speaker 2: of bourbon, but we got this wine in the box.
- 28:41Speaker 2: What y'all want to do? What's the next with shaw? All?
- 28:46Speaker 11: Right?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Last one? Anit and dearborn. Anita writes, my husband things
- 28:51Speaker 1: that's arguing is a sign of a healthy marriage. I
- 28:54Speaker 1: hate arguing. To protect my peace, I wear air pods
- 28:59Speaker 1: and listen to news when he's upset. I love this,
- 29:02Speaker 1: he said, I need to pay attention to him when
- 29:04Speaker 1: he's angry. Do I have to listen to him?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Not really? I mean, look, men, men have a device
- 29:12Speaker 2: in our head that we have our built in ear parts.
- 29:15Speaker 2: When y'all talking, we know how to shut y'all out
- 29:19Speaker 2: and don't hear nothing. Don't hear nothing. And I'm gonna
- 29:25Speaker 2: tell you what's really a waste of time for you
- 29:26Speaker 2: to be talking to me in a serious discussion about
- 29:30Speaker 2: something I don't want to hear over the phone. Are
- 29:32Speaker 2: you wasting your time? I set the phone.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Down and walk away.
- 29:36Speaker 2: No, I'll walk away. I leave it there. I just
- 29:38Speaker 2: leave you back the keep watching TV.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, and then just periodically pick it up
- 29:43Speaker 1: and go uh huh No.
- 29:45Speaker 2: I don't even pick it up. Just yeap, yeah, I
- 29:50Speaker 2: see it. Yeah, I see where you're going. Yeah. I said,
- 29:53Speaker 2: I know, I show concern, you know, but I really
- 29:58Speaker 2: I know what you said. You said it thirteen times. Hell,
- 30:01Speaker 2: I got it, and that's your problem. Y'all. Keep repeating stuff.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Make sure we got it. We got it, We will
- 30:09Speaker 2: do it. No, damn wait, we got it.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:14Speaker 1: some entertainment news where you thank you Colo. Right after this.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, in an interview
- 30:25Speaker 1: on CBS Has Faced the Nation that aired Sunday, our
- 30:28Speaker 1: new Vice President JD. Van said that grocery prices will
- 30:32Speaker 1: come down at some point. Van said. Van said, quote,
- 30:39Speaker 1: prices are going to come down, but it's going to
- 30:42Speaker 1: take a little bit of time. The president has been
- 30:45Speaker 1: president for all of five days. I think that in
- 30:48Speaker 1: those five days, he's accomplished more than Joe Biden did
- 30:51Speaker 1: in four years. Well, we all know both of those
- 30:55Speaker 1: statements are false. According to the US Department of Agriculture,
- 30:59Speaker 1: egg prices are takes it to increase about twenty percent
- 31:02Speaker 1: this year because of the recent outbreak of the bird flew. Also,
- 31:06Speaker 1: there will be an increase in the cost of beef, coffee,
- 31:09Speaker 1: and orange juice in the near future.
- 31:12Speaker 2: All that and everything. We yeah, yeah, we do.
- 31:22Speaker 7: We do better go into a farm and picking these
- 31:24Speaker 7: eggs and saving them.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Is that gonna cut it back? Lipping? Yeah, that will
- 31:28Speaker 2: till me now now, yeah, yeah, yeah, that'll work time me. Now,
- 31:30Speaker 2: what what farm you going to? I don't know where,
- 31:33Speaker 2: No farm, man, I just ta.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Oh, you're just humoring him.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Do we need to go to flood and pick these
- 31:41Speaker 2: oranges to get this juice? I mean, how can we
- 31:45Speaker 2: vote for Trump?
- 31:47Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 31:48Speaker 2: That's vote Trump, Latinos for Trump, blocks for Trump. Now
- 31:53Speaker 2: he picking up Latinos and they killing all DEI programs.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I don't understand, man, because I kept I kept asking
- 32:02Speaker 2: though doing the election process, if you are black for Trump,
- 32:06Speaker 2: and I'm gonna allow you to be that. I opened
- 32:09Speaker 2: up the phone line four times please call in and
- 32:13Speaker 2: tell me how Trump is for blacks, so I can
- 32:17Speaker 2: understand blacks for Trump, I'm for anybody that's for me. See,
- 32:22Speaker 2: that's why he parted those That's why he pardoned everybody
- 32:26Speaker 2: on January sixth, because they was for him. That resurrection
- 32:32Speaker 2: was fighting what he said. Yet whatever, well yourrections right,
- 32:44Speaker 2: get your direction right. I know one thing, if it
- 32:49Speaker 2: had been black people climbing up over that wall, it
- 32:51Speaker 2: would have been a massacre down in there. But you
- 32:53Speaker 2: let all of them out because they was for Trump.
- 32:56Speaker 2: It was more Trump flags than it was American flags
- 32:59Speaker 2: on that and he knew they were down now on
- 33:02Speaker 2: behalf of him. That's why he pardoned them. So let's
- 33:06Speaker 2: get back to what I was saying. If you are
- 33:08Speaker 2: a black for Trump, just show me how Trump is
- 33:12Speaker 2: for blacks. The only thing I saw him do for
- 33:16Speaker 2: blacks was he put that preacher on at the inauguration
- 33:20Speaker 2: and if you look at his face behind the preacher,
- 33:23Speaker 2: he couldn't believe him. And Sammy was out there just
- 33:28Speaker 2: giving it to him. And you know what, you know what, man,
- 33:34Speaker 2: if he would have just recited the speech on the
- 33:39Speaker 2: Washington Monument that I have a dream speech if he
- 33:42Speaker 2: had just repeated it, it would have been a lot
- 33:45Speaker 2: more effective. But his acting out of it, that the
- 33:51Speaker 2: dramatization of it, the buffoonery of it. I was just
- 33:56Speaker 2: sitting there going, Yo, I'm a man. Where you going?
- 33:59Speaker 2: Because if you would have done that rendition in front
- 34:01Speaker 2: of any black people, they would have told you, hey, man,
- 34:04Speaker 2: what are you going with this?
- 34:05Speaker 7: Hire?
- 34:06Speaker 2: Because first of all, you can't do it better than
- 34:08Speaker 2: Doctor King did it. I mean, you know, if you
- 34:12Speaker 2: do that speech, come on, man, and you're trying to
- 34:16Speaker 2: add to what was one of the greatest speeches of
- 34:18Speaker 2: all time, Come on bro.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Well, grocery prices are going up anyway.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Moving on to doctor Phil, Doctor Phil. Doctor Phil has
- 34:31Speaker 1: joined in with Tom Homan, who of course is Donald
- 34:34Speaker 1: Trump's only appointed borders are with ICE, that's Immigration and
- 34:38Speaker 1: Customs Enforcement to round up and arrest people in Chicago
- 34:42Speaker 1: that are allegedly dangerous illegal immigrants. On his ex account,
- 34:46Speaker 1: doctor Phil posted quote just in the first arrest in
- 34:49Speaker 1: Chicago with Tom Holman was a convicted sex offender and
- 34:53Speaker 1: internet predator from Thailand. Under the caption is a video
- 34:57Speaker 1: of a male alleged sex offender who is handcuffed as
- 35:01Speaker 1: Doctor Phil and Tom Homan stand beside him. Doctor Phil
- 35:04Speaker 1: repeatedly asked the man if he has ever been deported,
- 35:07Speaker 1: and the guy says no and says he needs to
- 35:10Speaker 1: talk to his attorney. Doctor Phil is live streaming these
- 35:12Speaker 1: arrests for his network. That's why he's so involved.
- 35:17Speaker 2: With friend Fields. Get his ass. You're gonna run up
- 35:27Speaker 2: on somebody there, ain't gonna be I don't even know
- 35:31Speaker 2: why he in that though. That what we do his network,
- 35:37Speaker 2: and I got a radio show.
- 35:39Speaker 7: I don't care about doctor Phils long as my uncle
- 35:41Speaker 7: ain't got his ass there with.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I'm no, I'm not going not picking up nobody. Welcome
- 35:50Speaker 2: to America here, Well, we ain't even want to come
- 35:53Speaker 2: over here, so don't ask us about no papers or nothing.
- 35:57Speaker 12: We mad.
- 35:59Speaker 1: We're not the immigrants. Let's get clarity on what.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Man we will all bought over against our will. Now
- 36:06Speaker 2: we didn't just try to make the best of the tree.
- 36:10Speaker 2: And y'all already getting rid of DEI programs and everything else.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Clearly you don't want us to have nothing. Whatever we had,
- 36:16Speaker 2: you want to take you know, my father told no,
- 36:18Speaker 2: I can't repeat that on Redia if it was my
- 36:24Speaker 2: last day. I'll tell you something my father told me.
- 36:27Speaker 2: But you know, I mean it also been blends into
- 36:30Speaker 2: where I'm from. You know, people don't understand I grew
- 36:33Speaker 2: up in segregation. Yeah, I saw colored under water fountains,
- 36:39Speaker 2: colored rest I saw that. So you know, it's kind
- 36:43Speaker 2: of hard to wipe that out your head when you
- 36:45Speaker 2: were a kid. They don't have it, no mobile. They
- 36:47Speaker 2: try to make America great again.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll keep your posted. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 36:51Speaker 1: after the hour tax season is upon us. It kicked
- 36:54Speaker 1: off officially. We will get some tax filing tips from
- 36:59Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this you're
- 37:03Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 37:55Speaker 1: well aware of. Can you share a few tax filing
- 37:58Speaker 1: tips with on?
- 38:00Speaker 2: First of all, just ask me questions because I ain't
- 38:02Speaker 2: got but one tip. Ask me whatever you want to
- 38:04Speaker 2: ask me about it?
- 38:05Speaker 1: All right? So when the W two forms come, how soon?
- 38:08Speaker 1: How quickly should you fill them out and return them?
- 38:11Speaker 2: I would suggest immediately if you are expecting a return, Okay,
- 38:17Speaker 2: So I would say immediately. No, but only people wait
- 38:21Speaker 2: the eight fifteenth. If people are, oh, why would I
- 38:24Speaker 2: pay you early?
- 38:27Speaker 1: Well, when you owe the IRS, do you have to
- 38:30Speaker 1: pay the whole amount at one time? Or can you
- 38:33Speaker 1: ask for installment plans?
- 38:36Speaker 2: You can get an extallment plan and you don't have
- 38:39Speaker 2: to file on April fifteenth. You can get an extension
- 38:42Speaker 2: to October first. But the penalties that you are going
- 38:47Speaker 2: to pay is going to be substantial, okay, And any
- 38:51Speaker 2: payment plan they get you will have interest penalties attached
- 38:55Speaker 2: to it. You are going to pay more if you
- 38:58Speaker 2: don't pay on time, what's the most art and claim
- 39:01Speaker 2: without getting in trouble. Now off into some stuff. Now
- 39:09Speaker 2: you need to look at seven people. You can you
- 39:12Speaker 2: know without it explaining stuff with just seven people?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Well, okay, can I claim my kids and they're grown
- 39:22Speaker 1: and everything? Can I complaim my daughter.
- 39:24Speaker 2: In certain ways? You can, you know, like if they
- 39:29Speaker 2: Indeliza or something, you know, but if they got pictures
- 39:33Speaker 2: of her walking around shopping and stuff, you probably don't
- 39:36Speaker 2: have bual do.
- 39:39Speaker 1: The worst.
- 39:41Speaker 2: But I think if she if you can get some
- 39:43Speaker 2: pictures of her in the bed and you can make
- 39:45Speaker 2: it look she'd have lost a lot of weight, Yeah,
- 39:50Speaker 2: and put some eats on the make it look like
- 39:52Speaker 2: she flat.
- 39:53Speaker 10: Then you know, all right, Okay, what about that's a
- 39:57Speaker 10: go ahead call? Okay, what about working from home?
- 40:02Speaker 2: Yeah, everywhere you go as an office. Your bathroom is
- 40:05Speaker 2: an office. If you make a phone call in there,
- 40:08Speaker 2: if you down there where the pool table, like, that's office.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Just take a note pad in down at the carny garage.
- 40:15Speaker 2: That's how off the whole damn house is Offor if
- 40:18Speaker 2: you open up that refrigerator, leave a notebook in there,
- 40:21Speaker 2: get it out. That's the damn office. What else anybody else? Tax?
- 40:26Speaker 9: Mary?
- 40:27Speaker 1: If you're married, can you file together or separately? What's best?
- 40:30Speaker 2: You need to file together, get as much as you can.
- 40:33Speaker 2: If you got any grandkids that you done gave a
- 40:35Speaker 2: damn quarter two d ass is a dependent?
- 40:40Speaker 1: All right, thank you for those irs. Tips.
- 40:42Speaker 2: We'll be over more I got. I'll give them to
- 40:46Speaker 2: you all year, loan all right.
- 40:49Speaker 1: All right, coming up with thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Cam Newton got a few side eyes after his interview
- 40:55Speaker 1: with Royce Reid, Dwight Howard's X. We'll get into it
- 40:58Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. On
- 41:03Speaker 1: a recent episode of Cam Newton's Funky Friday Show, Cam
- 41:07Speaker 1: interviewed Royce Reid. We all know her as the ex
- 41:09Speaker 1: girlfriend of former NBA player Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard and
- 41:13Speaker 1: Royce Reid have fought publicly and social media for years now,
- 41:16Speaker 1: and now she's resurfacing, seemingly because Howard has a new fiance.
- 41:22Speaker 1: In the interview, Cam pressed reed to talk about Howard's
- 41:26Speaker 1: sexual preference, specifically asking Reid if Dwight is attracted to men.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Red alleged that she watched Howard take psychedelic drugs with
- 41:34Speaker 1: other men before engaging in intimate encounters with the men.
- 41:38Speaker 1: But the chakra was not what Reed said. What Reid said,
- 41:42Speaker 1: it was the fact that Cam had pressed her for
- 41:45Speaker 1: that information. Cam caught some backlash for prying into another
- 41:49Speaker 1: man's sex life, and many commoner commenters said that Cam
- 41:53Speaker 1: violated man code. So is this the thing now to
- 41:58Speaker 1: go for the shock value, you know, the shock value,
- 42:00Speaker 1: get ratings on podcasts and all.
- 42:02Speaker 2: These Well, I think that's what everybody is doing. You know,
- 42:05Speaker 2: it's a lot of valuables that's doing that shock value,
- 42:09Speaker 2: you know, and there's people try to get it. You know,
- 42:11Speaker 2: you look at and I don' won't say no names,
- 42:15Speaker 2: but you know, you look at some people that do podcasts.
- 42:18Speaker 2: They have somebody on that that say it's controversial, They
- 42:21Speaker 2: get one of the highest ratings of all time, and
- 42:24Speaker 2: then right after that bring on another super controversial person. Yeah,
- 42:29Speaker 2: because I think that they got it addicted. So like now,
- 42:34Speaker 2: I think the love of clicks and likes, it's more
- 42:38Speaker 2: valuable than man code. It's more valuable than friendship and honor.
- 42:43Speaker 2: You know, I give you an example. We have a
- 42:47Speaker 2: radio show here, we have a real platform. Yeah, if
- 42:50Speaker 2: you come on my show and you talk about any
- 42:53Speaker 2: one of my friends that I'm friendly with, if you
- 42:57Speaker 2: say something about Kevin Jay or Said or d l
- 43:03Speaker 2: or Tyler Perry, somebody I'm cool with, dog I'm gonna
- 43:07Speaker 2: shut you down. I'm gonna shut you down because you're
- 43:10Speaker 2: not coming on here and dogging out somebody that I
- 43:14Speaker 2: consider myself cool with. I'm not gonna give you that platform.
- 43:17Speaker 2: That's the cold I live by. I have discovered that
- 43:22Speaker 2: there are a lot of people who don't live by
- 43:24Speaker 2: that cold. You can go on they show and they
- 43:27Speaker 2: appear to be friendly, you can exchange numbers with them,
- 43:31Speaker 2: they can call you for help, you give it to them,
- 43:35Speaker 2: and then they turn around right behind your back and
- 43:38Speaker 2: put somebody on their show and allow them to talk
- 43:40Speaker 2: about you and lie and it ain't no check that right.
- 43:44Speaker 2: There is the society we live in today.
- 43:47Speaker 1: There is a saying fame is the new drug, regardless over.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Anything, and the cost and expense doesn't matter anymore. Go ahead,
- 44:01Speaker 2: if you're broken up. If you're a couple that's broken up,
- 44:04Speaker 2: y'all not together no more. What's what's the purpose of
- 44:06Speaker 2: getting out there? And at your dirty line. If it's over,
- 44:09Speaker 2: it's over. What why does the.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Whole world have to bring a child together?
- 44:14Speaker 2: So that's even worse. You good here talking about your
- 44:20Speaker 2: man who is somebody's father, your son's father, and you
- 44:26Speaker 2: got a son and you're saying this about his daddy. Yeah,
- 44:29Speaker 2: that's foul on so many levels.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I think it was horrible for him to ask her that,
- 44:34Speaker 1: for him to cry, and for her to come out
- 44:38Speaker 1: and say that about this.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Well, you know, look like.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Like you said the story though.
- 44:44Speaker 10: They have been beating on the media in public for
- 44:47Speaker 10: a very long time, and she's been throwing out stuff,
- 44:50Speaker 10: he's been saying stuff, So it's been ugly. But at
- 44:53Speaker 10: some point when y'all gonna grow up and understand that
- 44:56Speaker 10: y'all share a child together and stop this.
- 44:59Speaker 2: This And you know, look like I'm a fan of
- 45:02Speaker 2: Cam cam Newton's I really am. I think it's a
- 45:05Speaker 2: good brother because I defended I defend him well to
- 45:10Speaker 2: other people when when Jason Whitlock attacks him, or when
- 45:14Speaker 2: Jason Whitlock attacks Dion Sanders. Uh, you know, I defend it,
- 45:19Speaker 2: But you're not like I wouldn't have a Jason Whitlock
- 45:22Speaker 2: come on this show and talk about Cam or Dion.
- 45:26Speaker 2: You're just not gonna do it because I'm cool with them,
- 45:29Speaker 2: not my Prime, you know, because Cam has come to
- 45:33Speaker 2: the camp for me a couple of times, spoke to
- 45:36Speaker 2: the boys. No charge, Prime is a friend of mine.
- 45:40Speaker 2: We go back. I just I'm that dude. I'm not
- 45:43Speaker 2: gonna be that way man. Not on the Steve Harvey
- 45:45Speaker 2: Morning Show. We're not doing it.
- 45:47Speaker 1: No, not here, no all right?
- 45:50Speaker 7: Uh.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Coming up next it is the Nephew and Today's Prank
- 45:54Speaker 1: Phone Call. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 45:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at about four minutes after
- 46:01Speaker 1: the hour, it's my Strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 46:04Speaker 1: is is sharing a man better than being single? You
- 46:11Speaker 1: gotta ask that. Okay, we'll get into it and find
- 46:16Speaker 1: out what that's all about. But right now, Yeah, it's
- 46:20Speaker 1: time for the Nephew and Today's Prank Phone Call.
- 46:23Speaker 7: What you got for us, new, Well, we headed to
- 46:25Speaker 7: the cemetery, Shirley, that's where we're going. Well, we got
- 46:29Speaker 7: a problem down there at the cemetery. You gave wrong
- 46:33Speaker 7: directions to my sister's grade. You gave wrong directions to
- 46:40Speaker 7: my sister's grade. We had the wrong grade, praying over
- 46:45Speaker 7: the wrong person, lowering the wrong person into the graund
- 46:52Speaker 7: everybody there, the ten is up. We all sitting up
- 46:54Speaker 7: under the tent. We had the wrong grade. Good Goutamn,
- 46:59Speaker 7: Well is my sister all right? You get wrong direction
- 47:03Speaker 7: to my sisters? Greg cat dog, if you would, yes,
- 47:07Speaker 7: these things, These things do happen, people, These things do happen.
- 47:13Speaker 12: Thank you for calling.
- 47:16Speaker 7: My name is Fredrick Stemming down there, Tamera, let me
- 47:20Speaker 7: see she's in the office.
- 47:21Speaker 12: One moment, please, thank you.
- 47:23Speaker 11: Just don't you don't make sense for all to go
- 47:26Speaker 11: out there like we did it and they're running into
- 47:28Speaker 11: these type of problems that don't have Hello, Hello, listen,
- 47:32Speaker 11: my name is Fredrick Stimmens.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:35Speaker 9: Now my sister's system is buried out there.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Okay, And we come out there last.
- 47:41Speaker 9: Week on Monday to come out there and pray over
- 47:44Speaker 9: the space.
- 47:45Speaker 11: Was now you as the one that told us that
- 47:49Speaker 11: it was a few spaces away from the masoleum. Now
- 47:52Speaker 11: we got out there and prayed over my sister friends
- 47:55Speaker 11: of this barrel and find out that we were in
- 47:58Speaker 11: the wrong space.
- 48:00Speaker 9: They say you was the one that told it to us.
- 48:02Speaker 12: So I don't even know what you're talking about.
- 48:04Speaker 9: You was the one that told us that myselfing from I.
- 48:07Speaker 12: Don't give out spaces. I'm in the administrative office.
- 48:10Speaker 11: I don't know why you're worked out. I don't know
- 48:12Speaker 11: as you was the one that told us this, No
- 48:15Speaker 11: I did, Yes, you're dead. You was the one that
- 48:18Speaker 11: my grandbaby said that she talked to the woman named Tampa.
- 48:21Speaker 11: And you had us out there standing over something white
- 48:24Speaker 11: man's about.
- 48:24Speaker 12: It and what out a councerort. So I can't tell
- 48:27Speaker 12: you where space is. So your granddor to last to you.
- 48:30Speaker 6: Ain't nobody knowed man.
- 48:32Speaker 9: You had us out there in the wrong space.
- 48:34Speaker 12: I couldn't have had you in the wrong space because
- 48:36Speaker 12: I don't even know the semeterary.
- 48:37Speaker 7: You know what.
- 48:38Speaker 9: I'm gonna send my grand baby up there to talk
- 48:41Speaker 9: to you.
- 48:41Speaker 12: Okay, I'll be here to five.
- 48:43Speaker 9: You're very mischievs.
- 48:44Speaker 12: You know that I'll be here at five o'clock. You
- 48:47Speaker 12: have a good day, No, you don't.
- 48:48Speaker 9: You hang up this phone on me.
- 48:50Speaker 12: You have a good day.
- 48:51Speaker 9: No, I'm not gonna have a good day. You had
- 48:53Speaker 9: me praying over the president's about it.
- 48:56Speaker 11: That was the wrong what And we're sitting there praying
- 48:59Speaker 11: over there white man's body?
- 49:03Speaker 2: That what right?
- 49:04Speaker 12: Hello, I'm listening to you. You don't have an apology
- 49:08Speaker 12: or nothing, because I know I didn't tell your granddaughter
- 49:11Speaker 12: where a faith was?
- 49:12Speaker 9: Then what did you tell him?
- 49:14Speaker 12: I don't even know who your granddaughter is.
- 49:16Speaker 9: What you mean the Stamens family, We.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Would not that.
- 49:19Speaker 12: I don't know who the Simons family is.
- 49:21Speaker 9: Now Simon, that's demens des.
- 49:24Speaker 12: I don't know a Simon's family. That's what I'm telling you.
- 49:27Speaker 12: I'm not a counselor. I don't even deal with family.
- 49:30Speaker 9: Hen what I need you to do? Can you go
- 49:32Speaker 9: out there and pray over myself about it?
- 49:35Speaker 12: I don't know where your sister is very supposed to
- 49:37Speaker 12: have been.
- 49:38Speaker 9: Six faith is away from the mother limb.
- 49:40Speaker 12: I don't are there any faces?
- 49:42Speaker 2: Yes?
- 49:43Speaker 6: Where is it?
- 49:44Speaker 2: Where is it?
- 49:44Speaker 12: At section two?
- 49:47Speaker 9: We was in section two, but there was some white
- 49:49Speaker 9: man we was that That wasn't my s Okay.
- 49:53Speaker 12: I don't even know who your sister Francis is. I
- 49:57Speaker 12: do not even know where section two is. Whoever came
- 50:01Speaker 12: into the cemetery and said that they spoke to me,
- 50:04Speaker 12: They probably did speak to me, and I probably got
- 50:07Speaker 12: the information from a counselor. But I never told them
- 50:10Speaker 12: exactly where the spot was. So if they were out
- 50:12Speaker 12: there praying over your sister and they were in the
- 50:15Speaker 12: wrong spot, that's not my problem. Praying over some white man,
- 50:19Speaker 12: that's not my problem, sir.
- 50:21Speaker 6: If the wrong spot, if you gain the wrong information,
- 50:25Speaker 6: it is I don't.
- 50:27Speaker 12: Give the wrong information. Tell them, yes, she's in section two.
- 50:31Speaker 12: That did not physically go out there and point to
- 50:33Speaker 12: the spot to tell them to pray over that spot.
- 50:35Speaker 9: Let me explain what I'm trying to stop from happening.
- 50:39Speaker 11: If my people come out there, there's gonna be some
- 50:41Speaker 11: nobody getting married, and I don't want nobody to get hurt.
- 50:44Speaker 12: I mean, your family can come up here. It's not
- 50:46Speaker 12: gonna be no more bodies being buried that. What they
- 50:48Speaker 12: can do is come up here, right and we can
- 50:50Speaker 12: conversate about this. But it's not going to be an
- 50:53Speaker 12: ug world here.
- 50:54Speaker 9: I want you to go out there and you pray
- 50:56Speaker 9: over friends of the body.
- 50:57Speaker 12: I'm not going on to pray over nobody, these bodies.
- 51:01Speaker 12: It's not famly member. I didn't tell them the wrong information.
- 51:05Speaker 9: Do you love the Lord?
- 51:08Speaker 12: I dearly do?
- 51:10Speaker 9: Then you ought to have some sympathy. I want you
- 51:13Speaker 9: to bow your head right now.
- 51:15Speaker 12: No, I'm going to end this conversation because all the
- 51:18Speaker 12: work to do. Now they come in and talk to me.
- 51:22Speaker 12: I will be here until five o'clock.
- 51:23Speaker 9: Can I say one more thingful?
- 51:25Speaker 12: You go say one more thing and I'm the car.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Okay, this Nephew tom Me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 51:48Speaker 7: Baby from nephew Tommy, Why are you standing your ground?
- 51:55Speaker 7: This guy wasn't praying over the wrong body. That don't
- 51:57Speaker 7: mean nothing.
- 51:57Speaker 2: I ain't all right.
- 52:03Speaker 7: Check it out. You got to tell me one thing.
- 52:05Speaker 7: What's the baddest radio show in the land?
- 52:10Speaker 9: What's cute?
- 52:18Speaker 2: And now you have it.
- 52:19Speaker 7: I encourage all of y'all to get out there and
- 52:21Speaker 7: find out where you're gonna be buried at No way
- 52:23Speaker 7: it's gonna be. Let people know exactly where it is
- 52:26Speaker 7: in the cemetery.
- 52:27Speaker 9: These things you need to know.
- 52:28Speaker 2: You want to know this. You want to know this.
- 52:30Speaker 2: You don't have these these problems like this. You know
- 52:33Speaker 2: what you need.

- 52:37Speaker 7: you leave here, Know what tree it is? What plots
- 52:41Speaker 7: you next to? Know what's going on? You lad?
- 52:49Speaker 9: You need to know.
- 52:50Speaker 1: I'm between these two people.
- 52:56Speaker 2: That's that's uh.
- 52:57Speaker 7: That's brother Marcus over here on my left, all right,
- 53:01Speaker 7: And that is Marcus's wife, sister Brenda.
- 53:04Speaker 2: That's that's the two. I'm right there by them. Got
- 53:08Speaker 2: to know where you're gonna be got.
- 53:12Speaker 7: With you.
- 53:14Speaker 8: Because you know, somebody go out there. You be talking
- 53:18Speaker 8: to the grave like we miss you and all the
- 53:20Speaker 8: type of stuff. But that ain't the grave you're supposed
- 53:22Speaker 8: to be at. That's the wrong person. You've been talking
- 53:24Speaker 8: to you.
- 53:24Speaker 7: At the wrong one, and you standing on somebody else?
- 53:28Speaker 7: Who is you standing on? You got you got to

- 56:14Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subjects is sharing a man. Listen to
- 56:18Speaker 1: the subject now. Is sharing a man better than being single.
- 56:23Speaker 2: We're gonna ask tom We're gonna ask Tommy not to
- 56:26Speaker 2: say nothing, Tommy whole damn letter. I'm gonna try. No,
- 56:32Speaker 2: it's gonna be hard. Yeah, it's gonna see if you
- 56:35Speaker 2: can go ahead, shut.
- 56:36Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Steve. Dear Stephen Shirley. I had
- 56:39Speaker 1: an extramarital affair with a man for nine years, and
- 56:43Speaker 1: it was the most significant relationship that I have ever had.
- 56:47Speaker 1: It lasted from the time I was thirty until I
- 56:50Speaker 1: was thirty nine, although he was married. We vacationed together
- 56:55Speaker 1: and he treated me well. We also spent Christmas and
- 56:59Speaker 1: New Year's Eaves together. Every year. I would fly in first,
- 57:03Speaker 1: and then his wife and family would come a day
- 57:07Speaker 1: or two later. They would come in a day or
- 57:08Speaker 1: two later, just so we could have our time and
- 57:11Speaker 1: space to be together. He and I are both athletes,
- 57:14Speaker 1: and we enjoyed working out and watching sports together. But
- 57:17Speaker 1: I got tired of being number two in his life,
- 57:20Speaker 1: so I ended the relationship five years ago. We remain
- 57:24Speaker 1: friends and occasionally we meet up for coffee or lunch.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I have to try to keep my feelings in check
- 57:29Speaker 1: when I see him, because I do still love him. Recently,
- 57:33Speaker 1: he told me that he misses the time that he
- 57:36Speaker 1: and I spent together, and he said he needs me
- 57:38Speaker 1: back in his life. He has asked me to be
- 57:40Speaker 1: his second wife in a polygamous marriage, which is allowed
- 57:45Speaker 1: here in South Africa. This is the third time he's
- 57:49Speaker 1: asked me. The first two times I was younger and
- 57:52Speaker 1: I thought I would meet a man and start a
- 57:54Speaker 1: family of my own. Now that I am older and
- 57:57Speaker 1: I can no longer have children, I am considering his proposal.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Steven Shirley, this is the greatest man I've ever known
- 58:06Speaker 1: and the only man I've ever loved. I don't think
- 58:09Speaker 1: I can find this type of connection with anyone else.
- 58:13Speaker 1: So I ask you, is it better for me to
- 58:16Speaker 1: share him with his first wife or wait for love
- 58:19Speaker 1: of my own and remain single for now? Okay? I
- 58:23Speaker 1: mean the obvious question to say, we have asked you
- 58:28Speaker 1: not to say anything. I told you yes. I mean,
- 58:33Speaker 1: obviously you have questions about all of this, or you
- 58:36Speaker 1: wouldn't be writing Steve and I first. Why would you
- 58:39Speaker 1: consciously choose to be second? That's not how a person
- 58:44Speaker 1: really thinks, especially a person in their right mind. You
- 58:47Speaker 1: will never be first, if you already are settling for second,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and he has no incentive to do anything other than
- 58:54Speaker 1: what he's doing. He wants his cake and he wants
- 58:58Speaker 1: to eat it too. In other words, he's not leaving
- 59:01Speaker 1: his wife, but he still wants you. He's asked you
- 59:03Speaker 1: to be his second wife because you are considering and
- 59:06Speaker 1: allowing it. I just say, don't do this to yourself.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I mean, what about you. You've been with him when
- 59:12Speaker 1: you were thirty till thirty nine. You want nine more
- 59:15Speaker 1: years to go by in your life being with this
- 59:18Speaker 1: man and having no man of your own?
- 59:21Speaker 2: What do you want?
- 59:21Speaker 9: What about you?
- 59:23Speaker 1: I know you want a man of your own. You
- 59:24Speaker 1: want Christmas Day right instead of Christmas Eve? Don't you
- 59:29Speaker 1: think you deserve that? I mean anything else should be
- 59:32Speaker 1: unacceptable to you. You've got to get out of this
- 59:34Speaker 1: place you're in. There are other good men out there.
- 59:38Speaker 1: You said this is the best man you've ever known.
- 59:40Speaker 1: He was cheating on his wife. That doesn't make him
- 59:43Speaker 1: a good man. Put yourself first instead of loving him
- 59:47Speaker 1: and being so sprung on him. You got to love yourself.
- 59:50Speaker 2: You got to choose you.
- 59:51Speaker 1: You got to get your self esteem, your self confidence up.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Stop thinking like one of these, like a desperate woman.
- 59:59Speaker 1: There's no you would be thinking about being his number
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: two if you were your own self number one. You
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. You got to start today remembering
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: and realizing who you really are. Tell this married man
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: to kick rocks, work on yourself. Okay, this is not
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: the man for you, Steve.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I have so many questions in this letter, and I travel,
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: so let's start. I'm in an extra marital fair with
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: a man for nine years, and it's been the most
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: significant relationship I've ever had. It lasted from the time
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: I was thirty until I was thirty nine, prime time.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Although he was married. We vacation together and he treated me. Well. Wait,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: let me say, wow, how y'all going on vacations together.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out how what married man can
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: go somewhere for a week taking a vacation and your
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: wife don't know or ain't there. I don't know how
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: this happened. So I have that question. You ready for
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: the next one. We also spent Christmas and New Year's
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Eve together every year. What these are major holidays? You
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: can't get Christmas? It tests ain't no way to explain
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Christmas to the wife and them kids.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: It's how.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve or Christmas Day you
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: cannot explain those away? And okay, but he ain't through though,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: he said I. Then she said I would fly in first,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: then his wife and family would come in a day
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: or two later, come in.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Well, fly well the vacation spot.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: And then he fly the family in New Year's Day
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: or the day after. What who let their husband go
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: in early? I'm I don't understand here.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Yeah, no, they she didn't say. Well, we'll get into
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: it when we get back.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Say what break right here?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: We got to take a break right here. I'll tell you.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Is sharing a man
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: better than being single? Is the subject of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Did you know you could now buy a Hondai on Amazon,
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: the same place where you order yoga mats, a toothbrush,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: and pretty much everything else, all from the comfort of
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: your home, just located nearby dealer, pick your color, your options,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: check the price, and with a few dotting of some
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: eyes and crossing some teas Whila, your Hondaid is ready
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: for pick up.
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: It's that easy. Visit USA dot com for more details.
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: Limited availability pick up through participating Hondai dealers.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: And select markets. So surely all right? We left. I
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: was giving my explanation that but you said you could
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: explain this because I was struggling with the part in
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: the letter where they said they were married, we vacation together.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: He treated me, well, we also spent Christmas and New
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Year's Eve together every year. I would fly in first,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: then his wife and family would come in a day
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: or two later.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: What that's for the vacation part. That's just for the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: vacation part. Yeah, sure, that's all.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Did you sure? Did you read the letter?
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: I did read. I would also spent Christmas in New
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Year's Eve together. Every year. I would fly in first,
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: then his wife and family would come in a day
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: or two later. Uh huh. That that's in reference to
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Christmas and New Year's Eve.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: But she said we also spent Christmas and New Year's
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: e together. She didn't say that they vacationed Christmas even
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: New Year's Eve. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Okay, okay, fine, I'll accept that. Yeah, let me ask
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: you a question. Okay, as a woman, you and Carl,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: you already know what did he say that he ain't
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: there for Christmas? Even Christmas? Where you? What is your
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: telling these t I'm so bad for Okay now, okay,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: so now let me go on through the letter. He
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: and I both athletes, and we enjoy working out and
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: watching sports together. But I got tired of being number two,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: so I ended the relationship five years ago. Main friends
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: and occasionally metal for coffee or lunch. I had to
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: keep my feelings in check when I see him because
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: I do still love him. Recently, he told me that
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: he misses the time that he and I spent together
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: and he needs me back in his life. Okay, cool,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: listen to this. He had asked me to be his
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: second wife in.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: A politic in a polygamous You know what that means.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Polygamisis to what I'm looking at. You know, polygamous marriage,
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: which is allowed here in South Africa. I've been to
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: South many times. Tape shows that and everything. I ain't
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: heard this I have not now I know in Africa
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: there are multiple wives. It's also allowed in the Arab
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: culture in some places, multiple wives, multiple no you ain't
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: you ain't that now? See you am as want to
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: get somebody kid because me here don't know how to
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: play in the sand box together. Y'all the only ones
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: that know how to play in the sandbox together, ain't. No, man,
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: you can't have multiple husbands. No, it's because you can't.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: You can't do that because what you have.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: No.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: No, because what you have to give away, Because what
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: you have to give away is far more precious. And
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: every man knows that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: But he can have all the wife he wants.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: He just I'm This is the third time he's asked
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: me this, and the first two times was young, and
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I thought I would meet a man and start a
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: family on my own. Why you gonna meet a man
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: and start a family own? And you see in this
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: other guy that ain't gonna happen. Now I'm older and
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: I can no longer have children. I'm considering his proposal.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Stephen Sherley, this is the greatest man I've ever known
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: and the only man I've ever loved. I don't think
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: I can find this type of connection with anybody else.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: So I asked you, is it better for me to
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: share him with his first wife or wait for love
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: on my own and remain single for now. I can't
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: answer that for you because obviously you have a proposal
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: that I've never been able to give to anybody. You know,
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: I couldn't even get two women my girlfriend at the
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: same time, so what I've never been able to convince
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: it just to be my girlfriend at the same time.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: I've always had to manage some type of lie to
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: even maintain that. I think is what he doing right now.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: I think he lined up into max. Now, if you
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: want to do that and you want to sign up
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: for that, go ahead. If that's what you want to.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Do it, go ahead. Don't do that the best nine
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: years of her life.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: That's the best nine years because she.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Doesn't know any better.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Well, if you when you know better, you can do better. Yeah,
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: But if you don't know better, you ain't gonna do better.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: So that's where she at right now. Or wait for
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: love on my own, or remain single for now? You
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: can wait, wait for love, wait for love, don't get
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: the chance to love. Wait for love. Yeah, No, we
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: love the way. I don't say sad that it is true.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Chance for years? Yeah, hold on tie, Yeah, I think
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: you're right. Nothing hurts as bad as when you see
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: you gave up. Yeah, but how much worse? Ain't gone
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: the same? In the Arab culture, if you have a
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: second wife, that wife has to live in the exact
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: same love. Tree asked at first, that could be no differential,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Like she can't have a big palace, and then you
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: got the little studio apartment.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I'd like to be able to afford her. Yeah, the
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: exact same gone over there.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: I'm in my palace. But I know everybody. I know
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: all my friends over there, they got one wife and
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: know they can't take that into the house.

- 1:09:40Speaker 1: is your girl, Shirley Strawberry. And according to research, a

- 1:10:16Speaker 1: time now for junior and sports talk. What you got junior, Well,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: let's say shout out to Pete Carroll Man.
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: Pete Carroll is now the new head coach of the
- 1:10:23Speaker 8: Las Vegas Raiders. At seven three years old, peak good coach.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Good coach made the dumbest college on history. But other
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: than that, he is great coach.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: When the Seahawks through that past playing against the New
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: England Patriots, I was so happy we finished beat the
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: Patriots through that interception. I said, you smow baby one yard.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: That's all they need is now.
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: Ye.
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: But the Dallas Cowboys have a new head coach also.
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: It is Brian Schottenheim. Brian Schotthaimer is now the head
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: coach of the world famous Dallas Cowboys. And why if
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: everybody's quittun that's always.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: The offensive coordinator, why would you make him the head
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: coach That don't make no system, man, you need a
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: new system. Absolutely. Hey man, here's a stat that I
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: heard somebody say, an interesting stat about the Dallas Cowboys.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Daniels who was to coach for the Commanders, James d
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: and Jalen Hurts all they were born, went to college,
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: won a championship, yes, before the Cowboys could play for
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: defision championship. Since nineteen ninety five, they have the longest
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: streak of any team in the NFL, including the Browns,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: to play for the championship, a shot at going to
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: the Super Bowl.
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: But that was Mike McCarthy's. That was Mike McCarthy's officer coordinator.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: Means you're gonna have the same offense. You need a
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: whole new regime, you need you need to start all
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: the way over.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Clear the whole. Jerry Jones is not gonna hire somebody
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: that he can't control.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: And that's what everybody's thinking of. He could control him.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he can't go get prime, No, because it's too
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: big of a personality. And I don't know why y'all
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: thought he was going there anyway. Brian didn't want to
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: come now, he didn't want to go there. Not the
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Cowboys Jerry Jones. Man is a hell of a nice guy.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Met him personally, hell of a nice guy. But he's
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: a billionaire. He's not fit to change. He too old.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: He bought that team so he could actively play in
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: the NFL. He the coach, he the GM, he the
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: scouting team. He cut the deals. Oh man, he do
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: all the drafting. The best hobby he ever had. He
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: don't do it. You don't hear him talking about nothing else.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: That's it, all that all and all that stuff he got.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Hi'll give down.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Just a cowboy, that's all just because.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: This made him famous. Until he bought the Cowboys, you
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: didn't know who his rich are.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: He just a person old. Thank you, Junior. Coming up
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, and Steve, a lady
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: needs advice on how to handle her eighty year old
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: mama's boyfriend. We'll talk about that right into it. Yes,

- 1:13:38Speaker 1: That's a man, and she was worried about telling me
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: because she didn't want me to judge her. She said
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: that her friend that's a man spends a night with her,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: so he told her to change the locks so I
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: can't sneak in on them. I told her that was
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: all fine and dandy with me, but I need a key.

- 1:15:31Speaker 2: He here?
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: She just her mom didn't want to be judged, Steve.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: That's why she changed.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: You can't judge her. Let her live her life. She
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: eighty something. He don't want you to walk in on us, Steve.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: And they doing something. That's because they not gonna be
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: able to dress quick. That's not They ain't gonna be
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: able to jump up. Ain't nobody gonna be get behind
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: the door. They just gonna have to. They're gonna slowly
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: roll all over and there they are.

- 1:16:25Speaker 2: needs socks, he got them old feet look like gator
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: look like alligator shoes.
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: Yo.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: If he got something you don't need him. You hear
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: you calling husky lushing and nohing. He probably ain't even
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: done his feet till he started dating this woman. Wow,
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: that's roughs.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, so she needs to get
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: that key though, just saying that. So she checked art,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, all right, We have time for another one.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: This one is from loss in Oklahoma City. Law says,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I'm a beginner at golf, and I'm eager to learn
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: the sport because i want to compete with the fellas
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: at my job. I have a pro, a golf pro,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: helping me with my swing, and I'm definitely falling for her.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: She is married, but she is always bending over in
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: front of me and looking back to get my reaction.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Today she said she can make herself available for private lessons,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: and she kissed me on the cheek right by my lips.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Would I be too forward to come out and ask
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: her if she's interested in me? Or should I wait
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: to see if she makes the first move?
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Did he say she was married?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Yeah, she's married.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: She's no, that's off limits. Yeah, no, kiss a dog, dude.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Not mess with nobody's wife. That's off limits. There's too
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: many women out here, man, don't do that. Yeah, don't
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: mess with nobody's wife. Man, you can get yourself hurt.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: Do that.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Bro, way too many women out here. Don't mess with
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: nobody's wife. I'm just I'm telling you, bro, don't mess
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: with nobody's wife. Man.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Good advice?
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: All right, that ain't good? Pardon all right?

- 1:18:10Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So do you guys
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: remember this was I think back in November we talked
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: about the forty three monkeys that escaped from a research
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: center in South Carolina. Yeah, we talked about it in
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: November of last year. Well, as of Friday, all of
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the monkeys, You'll be happy, all of the monkeys are
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: back in custody. Of the facility.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: You may not be happy.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: After almost three months on the loose, last on the run.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: They wasn't over loose day was on the run.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: The last four missing monkeys were captured on Friday, not
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: too far actually from the facility. All forty three monkeys
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: are reportedly in good condition. So here's a question. How
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: do you think the monkeys got captured?
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: One monkey run snitch? One monkey? Yeah, one monkey snitch,
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: that's for sure.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Oh what's going down?
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't find out who snitched somebody, cause
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you what, Man, they're all in that
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: cave with their arms folded down. I'll beat it. Who
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: told who snitched? Who step out here talking about?
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: What the fun they had?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I was out man, hollering the snitch ain't taking the
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: medicine no more.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: That's him.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: He snitched, He ain't taking the medication. That's him.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: Well, it was hard out there because you can't meet
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: no more because they weren't. They ain't in monkey country,
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: so they couldn't meet no more monkeys monkey, all the
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: moneys in the lamb, well more than.

- 1:21:49Speaker 2: But Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I'm taking that bath. I'm taking
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: that bath.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Your teeth.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: I'm putting that soap in my mouth.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: I just said, you can't brush your teeth taking a shower, Okay,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: all right, and heaven.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: I ain't gonna talk to nobody for three days though.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: You're not coming to work.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: In fact, don't even don't even get on this zoom.

- 1:22:18Speaker 2: After three days, you will, all right.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Would you rather an enormous booty with no hips or
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: a flat booty with big hips with hips, flat booty,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: no hipps, that's it's a terrible sight.
- 1:22:33Speaker 14: But one of them, yeah, one of them, Greg with
- 1:22:37Speaker 14: no narrow, narrow arrow straight out in the back, straight out. Yeah,
- 1:22:44Speaker 14: take them shout out chick jeans back in the day.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Yes that okay, Junior.
- 1:22:51Speaker 11: No, I won't.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I want no hips in the booty, That's what I want.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I got to see something that. What I
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: can't do is be on your side and I back
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: there I can see the next person. I can't do that.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna do is look past your ass
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: and see the next person. It's not a clear view, clearly,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: all right?
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: Would you rather get up a second to me? Or
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: would you rather sit in a hot tub for hours
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: with your ex.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: The hotel for hours? What with your hotb Yeah, I'm
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: getting Yeah, it's the same thing I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: sit in this hot tub. Yeah, all right? Either way,
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: hack like she ain't dead.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: All right, that's today's rounded. Would you rather coming up next,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: we'll close out the show with the one and only

- 1:24:29Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last breakup of the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: day on this Wednesday, hop day. It's been a good day,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: good show. Thank you guys for listening. We appreciate your business, yes, sir,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: we do.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: I got some closing remarks for you. I've thought about
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: this and so in this new year, I want to
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: remind people because we were you know, most of us
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: are good people, are trying to become better people are
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: you know, doing the best we can and we have
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: to be considerate of others. But this year I want
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: you to be careful in your consideration of others. Don't
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: ignore yourself. And I'm talking especially to women because women
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: are you are about the nurturing of so many people.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: To true you're the fixer when it comes to feelings, emotions,
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: and you make sure everybody is okay, and sometimes you
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: ignore yourself. I want you to beware of that. But
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: I'm talking to men too, because I do so much
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: for other people, but sometimes I forget to take out
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: time for myself. So this is for everybody, but I'm
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: especially talking to women. Be very very aware in this
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: upcoming year of people who lay the most useless emotion
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: of them all on you, which is guilt. If you
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: think about the emotion of guilt, it's the most useless
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: emotion that we have because it only serves one person,
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: and that's the person applying the guilt, who's using it
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: as a form of manipulation. Oh so you don't forgot
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: where you come from. I remember when you used to
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: help me. You know, I know you got it. Man,
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: you sit over the man God then bless you with everything,
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: and you just don't. You don't remember us. Man, Man,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: stop stop. You really are not my obligation. You're really not.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: You're really really not.
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: A funny thing happened recently. I had to release somebody,
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: and the conversation I had i had to release them.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: It was a very fair. I had given this person
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: ample opportunity and many chances, but in releasing the person,
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: I still gave him a wonderful out, But you know
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: what the person told me. What am I gonna do now?
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: He said, mister Harvey, you don't understand what it's like.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: And I'm just looking at him, and I'm trying to
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: figure out what it is that's happening in your life
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: that you think I have no awareness of a new
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: experience in And he said to me, even with this
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: severance package you're giving me and the ability to work
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: in other areas of your company, I would not have
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: signed my new lease had I known this. I said,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: wait a minute, man, Hold oh, I don't know when
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: your lease is up. I don't know when your lease.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: But you still have work, you still have opportunities, you
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: still have jobs. And so he just continued to try
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: to make me feel guilty about a decision I had
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: made when clearly you were no longer servicing your end
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: of the bargain the way you could. But now, all
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: of a sudden, what am I gonna do?
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: Well?
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: I got to think it too. What do I do
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: when they cancel my TV shows?
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: Now?
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: Nobody give me no notice. I just come to work
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: one day and they tell me show gone. I got
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: to deal with it. I came to work one day
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: and they told me Little Big Shots is gone and
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: your talk show gone, and just walked away out of
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: my face, no warning, know nothing. I remember in two
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: thousand and five, Shirley and Tommy was with me when
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: they told me I lost my TV show and then
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: my radio show in the same month. I had no
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: entertainment contracts at all, and they just told me it's
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: a rap. So what am I gonna do? I don't know.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: I don't know what you're gonna do, but you better
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: go to work and fix it. And I still gave
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: him out, but they were trying to make me feel guilty.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: No more, no, no, no, no, that's not how this
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: works anymore. Listen, be considerate of others, others, but don't
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: ignore yourself. Remember now what you do. See I tell
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: people all the time, if you didn't have my number,
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: what would you do? Well get to doing that. Then, See,
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: you ain't got to feel guilty because somebody got access
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: to you. Having access to you don't mean they should
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: have total access to you. Just because you know my number.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: Don't give you an end with me. In every aspect
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: of your life, you are not responsible for the life
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: of other people. Because when you get in trouble. When
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: you and your husband or your family get in the situation,
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: who you got to call probably nobody. So stop being
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: the one that's always made to feel like you owe them,
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: you owe somebody because you don't. You don't people. Take
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: some time out for yourself in twenty twenty five. Get
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: yourself a hobby that you enjoy doing. You want to
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: go down there and take a spin class. You want
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: to go down there and take yoga. You want to
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: go down there and do breath work, Go down there
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: and do it. You want to go sit in therapy,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Go down there and do it. You want to set
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: up a tea with your girlfriends every Wednesday evening, go
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: do it. You want to have a card night on Saturdays,
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: go do it. Man, Go enjoy your life and stop
