- 0:01Speaker 1: Out.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Good morning everybody, you all listening to the voice, Come
- 0:26Speaker 3: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 0:28Speaker 3: a radio show. I thank God for it. Every day.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I try to remember that too, you know. I try
- 0:34Speaker 3: to remember to be grateful. I think gratitude is one
- 0:39Speaker 3: of the things that helps keep me grounded. You can
- 0:42Speaker 3: go as far as you want in life. If you
- 0:44Speaker 3: don't mind who gets the credit. Well, that applies to
- 0:47Speaker 3: God too, don't it. I mean, you know, really, if
- 0:50Speaker 3: you don't mind who gets the credit. I'm surrounded by
- 0:55Speaker 3: very competent people. I'm surrounded by a lot of people
- 0:58Speaker 3: who work hard on their jobs, on their career, who
- 1:03Speaker 3: are dedicated employees and also just dedicated to their families
- 1:09Speaker 3: and you know, dedicated to their own set of aspirations.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I don't expect anybody to work for me forever. I
- 1:17Speaker 3: always look at my job opportunities as stepping stones because
- 1:21Speaker 3: I want everyone around me really to aspire to be more.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I mean, that's that's really the way I am. I'm
- 1:28Speaker 3: not any other way. I'm not trying to hold you
- 1:31Speaker 3: to this position, you know, tell you there's no room
- 1:34Speaker 3: for growth any of that. But even though I'm surrounded
- 1:38Speaker 3: by these people, I'm grateful that God placed them in
- 1:44Speaker 3: my path, in my life, But in my mind, in
- 1:51Speaker 3: my spirit, in everything in me, the credit still belongs
- 1:57Speaker 3: to God. I'm sorry, the credit still belongs to God.
- 2:03Speaker 3: See if you would, just for a moment, stop thinking
- 2:09Speaker 3: about yourself, just for a moment. I know that's hard,
- 2:13Speaker 3: but just for a moment, stop thinking about yourself and
- 2:16Speaker 3: realize that maybe you are who you are because.
- 2:20Speaker 1: God is who he is. Maybe that's the case.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Have you ever considered that that's the strongest possibility I
- 2:28Speaker 3: can give to you?
- 2:29Speaker 1: You know, how do you think you the one that
- 2:33Speaker 1: made it through?
- 2:35Speaker 3: How you think you the one after all of the
- 2:38Speaker 3: ignorant decisions we have made? And oh my goodness, let's
- 2:42Speaker 3: all be honest. Ain't we made some crazy decisions I'm
- 2:46Speaker 3: talking about man, I have made decisions so adverse to
- 2:50Speaker 3: my destiny and career, my promises.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I've made some decisions man.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Knowingly you hear me, knowingly do something wrong, And in
- 3:02Speaker 3: spite of all that, I'm.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Still here standing.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Okay, come on now, really, really, all the dirt you'd
- 3:10Speaker 3: bene done, everybody done dirt, all the mistakes You've made
- 3:16Speaker 3: you in the position you in today because of what?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Because you all that? Because you work harder than anybody else. Look,
- 3:25Speaker 3: I work hard, I'll be the I'll tell you in
- 3:28Speaker 3: a minute. I work hard. But I don't think I'm
- 3:30Speaker 3: the hardest working person out there. I'm pretty sure somebody
- 3:33Speaker 3: done work way harder than I have. So, okay, so
- 3:36Speaker 3: you work hard, Okay, cool? I got all that. But man,
- 3:42Speaker 3: what about his grace and his mercy? What about his favor?
- 3:48Speaker 3: How many times, man, you done relied on that even
- 3:52Speaker 3: when you ain't know you was relying on it? How
- 3:54Speaker 3: many times man God done shown you mercy? You ain't
- 3:58Speaker 3: even deserve it? Do you know how many things I've
- 4:01Speaker 3: done wrong? I just ain't get caught at it, you know.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Let me see how simple I can be. You speed,
- 4:10Speaker 3: you jawall. You lie to police when you get pulled
- 4:15Speaker 3: over that you wasn't speeding. You go to court and
- 4:17Speaker 3: argue you wasn't speeding when you was. You make U turns.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I'm just doing traffic violations. Now, let's get off traffic
- 4:28Speaker 3: for a second. Let's get on human violations. You talk
- 4:32Speaker 3: about people when you're not supposed to. You indulge yourself
- 4:37Speaker 3: in gossip, even when you don't really.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Have all the facts.
- 4:41Speaker 3: You pass judgment, You lust for people that don't belong
- 4:47Speaker 3: to you. You say things to people that you're not
- 4:51Speaker 3: supposed to say. So look, all of us, we all
- 4:58Speaker 3: were all guilty. See I'm not saying you do all
- 5:02Speaker 3: of that, but I'm saying I'm pretty sure I hit
- 5:05Speaker 3: you somewhere in there, just somewhere in there. You done
- 5:08Speaker 3: lied before, you know, you lied recently. I mean, come on,
- 5:12Speaker 3: And I'm just saying so with all that in mind. See,
- 5:15Speaker 3: I'm just looking at the little things that we do
- 5:17Speaker 3: that we don't get busted for. Not to mention the
- 5:20Speaker 3: chips you stole when you was a kid and nobody
- 5:22Speaker 3: caught you. Well, that elevated, didn't it. Some of y'all
- 5:25Speaker 3: just didn't stop stealing. The next thing you know, you
- 5:28Speaker 3: was in a car. Now you're sitting somewhere you don't
- 5:30Speaker 3: want to be sitting because of a decision you made.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But through his grace and mercy, couldn't it have been worse? Though?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Without his grace and mercy, could not it have been worse?
- 5:40Speaker 3: I know two dudes that got caught in the garage
- 5:43Speaker 3: one time, trying to break in somebody's house, and the
- 5:45Speaker 3: person in the house they broke into just happened to
- 5:48Speaker 3: have a gun and held them in the garage, caught
- 5:52Speaker 3: them and held them to the garage to the police car.
- 5:55Speaker 3: That's Grace and Mercy right there, because they had all
- 5:58Speaker 3: full right to shoot these two, but they didn't.
- 6:01Speaker 2: They're Grace and Mercy.
- 6:03Speaker 3: See, all of us have benefited from his grace and mercy.
- 6:07Speaker 3: All of us have done a wrong, committed a sin,
- 6:09Speaker 3: broken the law, and somehow, through his grace and mercy
- 6:13Speaker 3: got by, doing drugs, buying drugs, slanging drugs, doing something,
- 6:17Speaker 3: got by, jumped on somebody for no reason, got by,
- 6:21Speaker 3: you know.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So see how you figure with all that.
- 6:26Speaker 3: That can go on in your life. And then hold on,
- 6:28Speaker 3: let me throw a couple more at you. You can't
- 6:31Speaker 3: wake yourself up in the morning, mister big shot. You
- 6:36Speaker 3: don't have the ability to control the breaths that you take. Really,
- 6:41Speaker 3: mister big shot, really, let's get real basic with it now.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You can't wake yourself up in the morning.
- 6:49Speaker 3: That's favor, that's Grace, that's Mercy, that's him allowing you
- 6:57Speaker 3: to wake up, just hoping we get it right. You know,
- 7:02Speaker 3: God spared me through all the dirt I was doing,
- 7:04Speaker 3: just hoping one day? Man, can you just straighten up
- 7:07Speaker 3: a little bit? When I finally straightened up, and I'm
- 7:11Speaker 3: gonna just say it straightened up a little bit. See,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I ain't straightened up all the way. Say I ain't
- 7:15Speaker 3: gonna sit here and tell you that I just straightened
- 7:17Speaker 3: up a little bit. He started blessing me. So the
- 7:20Speaker 3: more blessings I got start going, Man, maybe I'll try
- 7:22Speaker 3: straighten up a little bit more. So I straightened up
- 7:24Speaker 3: a little bit more. I still got a long way
- 7:26Speaker 3: to go, but I'm straighter than I was now. When
- 7:29Speaker 3: people judging me and as they will, and they do
- 7:32Speaker 3: because that ain't right, but they do, and I ain't
- 7:34Speaker 3: walking just the way they walk.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Then here come to criticism. I get it all the time.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Stop wanting credit all the time, and give out some
- 7:42Speaker 3: credit where credit is due instead of having somebody patting
- 7:45Speaker 3: you on your back all the time.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Why don't you tell God kill people?
- 7:48Speaker 3: It was really was God, man, that you don't really
- 7:51Speaker 3: know how you made it? That really, man, you have
- 7:53Speaker 3: no explanation for your success or you have no explanation
- 7:56Speaker 3: why you still exist in today. Why don't you tell
- 7:59Speaker 3: somebody it was God today. Don't be ashamed. It's the truth,
- 8:02Speaker 3: ain't it. I mean, really, man, let's give God some
- 8:06Speaker 3: credit here. Give God the credit and the glory and
- 8:09Speaker 3: the honor. And like that plaque said, you can go
- 8:11Speaker 3: as far as you want in life if you don't
- 8:13Speaker 3: mind who gets the credit.
- 8:15Speaker 1: All right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 8:34Speaker 3: voice is my radio voice. That's how that sound right there?
- 8:38Speaker 3: That makes sense? It doesn't Okay, Ain no problem, Steve

- 8:57Speaker 3: Ain't but one body and make a day, and that's
- 9:01Speaker 3: the Lord God Almighty. Understand that the only reason you
- 9:05Speaker 3: have breath of life is because of God Almighty. You
- 9:08Speaker 3: need to understand that so with them two things in mind.

- 27:46Speaker 6: Again, it's his ex so she's grown. She could do
- 27:49Speaker 6: what she wants to do now right. It doesn't matter
- 27:51Speaker 6: who she sleeps with.
- 27:52Speaker 3: How did you sleep with a guy down the street
- 27:54Speaker 3: that will go tell your ex husband?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Why is he not?
- 27:58Speaker 2: He was kissing And yeah, she probably didn't know that.
- 28:03Speaker 3: At the time we got to start Joe, Ladies, I'm
- 28:06Speaker 3: telling y'all it ain't. It ain't the problem make does
- 28:08Speaker 3: she owe him an explanation? The problem is her choice

- 28:48Speaker 6: Another one you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. The term
- 28:57Speaker 6: empty nest syndrome has been trending lately. Is one a
- 29:01Speaker 6: child or several children leave home and it causes parents
- 29:06Speaker 6: to have a mix of emotions. It's a normal feeling,
- 29:10Speaker 6: if you know, if you have some grief about it,
- 29:12Speaker 6: if you feel lonely about it, loss of purpose, if
- 29:15Speaker 6: you're have anxiety about it, because there's an adjustment period.
- 29:20Speaker 6: You know, you have to adjust to a quiet house
- 29:22Speaker 6: now and a break from normal child centered activities. But
- 29:27Speaker 6: there is a bright side to this. Many parents noted
- 29:30Speaker 6: that their quote empty nest brought them newfound freedom, financial flexibility,
- 29:35Speaker 6: better sleep, and the time to focus on hobbies and
- 29:38Speaker 6: career goals. So Carla sad to say and happy to
- 29:42Speaker 6: say at the same time that you and Tash will
- 29:44Speaker 6: soon be empty nesterssh. Tasha is leaving to go to college.
- 29:51Speaker 6: So are you preparing yourselves for this? How are you feeling?
- 29:55Speaker 6: I know, I know, I know, how are you feeling?
- 29:58Speaker 2: I just walk around.
- 30:00Speaker 8: I was crying, hug and hug for five minutes, and she,
- 30:03Speaker 8: my daughter, is like, Mama, put yourself together. I know,
- 30:07Speaker 8: I'm out of here.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I can't wait till Lee. She just order it from
- 30:13Speaker 1: her dorm room. Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 8: Man, but my husband and I we've talked about it.
- 30:20Speaker 8: We said we're gonna have more time to spend with
- 30:23Speaker 8: each other and maybe travel do some things. And then
- 30:28Speaker 8: then you're shaking your head, no, Steve. So then I
- 30:31Speaker 8: told my daughter I was gonna move in her dorm.
- 30:34Speaker 8: It's all.
- 30:36Speaker 1: So so, Steve.
- 30:37Speaker 6: All your children are gone, they're grown and gone. You're
- 30:40Speaker 6: you are an empty nester, have been one for quite
- 30:43Speaker 6: a while. So you have some advice for Karla and
- 30:45Speaker 6: Tash What should they do to please?
- 30:48Speaker 3: What tashaw to do is get nicked and walk straight
- 30:54Speaker 3: into the kitchen and open the refrigerator and drink out
- 30:56Speaker 3: the orange juice.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Coughton, that's right out the orange jes cart.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Standing there, just staying there with your hand on your
- 31:04Speaker 3: heel neck it turn on the TV and it'll just
- 31:08Speaker 3: cut it off. Bend over and put the remote back down,
- 31:11Speaker 3: and then just going back in your room.
- 31:14Speaker 1: And that helps.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Sit on the top of necker, cross your legs.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Why does it though, because she to do that at
- 31:22Speaker 3: eighteen plus years nice.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not gonna be able to help cal. I'm
- 31:26Speaker 2: a help cop.
- 31:28Speaker 3: No. See, I ain't never had no child before, so
- 31:33Speaker 3: I can't tell her how to feel she had this baby.
- 31:37Speaker 3: I ain't had no baby. Ye're going to enjoy these moments.
- 31:40Speaker 3: And then probably the most important things you need to
- 31:43Speaker 3: know call is they coming back, coming back.
- 31:48Speaker 1: You won't be lonely for long. Don't get too comfortable.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah tell me. You can tell me that to her.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Don't get comfortable. They coming back.
- 31:58Speaker 7: All the all. But now you can do something with
- 32:03Speaker 7: that room if you don't want them back.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Yeah, like make it into your glamor.
- 32:08Speaker 2: In something that I need another closet. So now you're.
- 32:14Speaker 8: Talking yeah, yeah, yeah, you got through this too.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 1: All right work to do. Yeah, yes, you did, all right?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 32:27Speaker 4: I just had a question. They come up with the
- 32:30Speaker 4: term emptinestrial. When when did they start saying that? Because
- 32:33Speaker 4: I was living with my parents and they felt that
- 32:35Speaker 4: way I was at the house and and then like
- 32:44Speaker 4: your mama that walked like you ain't damn, no moment
- 32:47Speaker 4: I see that already?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Was your dad ni naked?
- 32:54Speaker 6: Sorry, Junior, you're so confused right now, you wegger.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm sorry. We're just gonna move on. How about that.
- 33:08Speaker 6: If your annual celebrity golf tournament is set for tomorrow, congratulations.
- 33:13Speaker 6: Proceeds benefit the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation and help
- 33:17Speaker 6: you do anything.
- 33:18Speaker 3: And I am supposed to tell y'all where I'm at
- 33:19Speaker 3: and not say I'm playing.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Go ahead, we know where?
- 33:23Speaker 1: What were you talking about? Uh?
- 33:26Speaker 2: You do?
- 33:27Speaker 6: The money helps for your mentoring cans for young men
- 33:29Speaker 6: and women. So are you excited? You're excited? You sound
- 33:32Speaker 6: excited about it.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know it's a good deal. At the tournament,
- 33:37Speaker 3: you know, so does well every year? This a great event.
- 33:41Speaker 3: A lot of guys get together. I ain't seen as well.
- 33:45Speaker 2: They lie about their school, you know.
- 33:51Speaker 6: Junior, you'll be hosting the awards ceremony, Jr.
- 33:55Speaker 1: That's always fun, right, and don't.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Know nothing about golf? Man, do you know, a junior,
- 34:00Speaker 3: do you know what closest to the pen mean?
- 34:03Speaker 4: Yeah, that means like, like you get close to a pen,
- 34:06Speaker 4: but then you back off, so it don't it don't
- 34:08Speaker 4: really matter how close you be.
- 34:09Speaker 3: It's just who's the closest. Like, you know what, that's
- 34:15Speaker 3: the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You get close to
- 34:18Speaker 3: the pen, but it don't matter.
- 34:20Speaker 4: But you back off though, See you ain't get it
- 34:22Speaker 4: back off hard? Yeah, I got I got aatic I heard.
- 34:28Speaker 4: I don't know the way y'all swinging. Why you just
- 34:30Speaker 4: don't throw your ball up there?
- 34:31Speaker 3: Because you you know why, you could throw it as
- 34:34Speaker 3: far as you can hit it. Hey, junior, let me
- 34:36Speaker 3: ask you another question. What do you think the winning
- 34:38Speaker 3: scores should be? In the force of the best ball?
- 34:44Speaker 3: What I think the winning scores would be? I think
- 34:46Speaker 3: like was that like negative two or something? Because they
- 34:48Speaker 3: got the negatives on the board. When I watch golf turners,
- 34:50Speaker 3: they all have a negative, So it's gotta be negative to.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Just called.
- 34:55Speaker 4: That's not under not that's not no I took math
- 34:59Speaker 4: in heighs. It's negative too. That's what it's not two.
- 35:03Speaker 4: N time you see a day before number, that means
- 35:08Speaker 4: negative one.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Y'all been learning this is more.

- 35:19Speaker 3: ever had.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Now he's the best host. I heard. I heard he's
- 35:23Speaker 1: a great host.

- 40:36Speaker 3: Well, most of all, let's just clean up this story
- 40:39Speaker 3: a little bit. You said that it simplifies luxury and minimalism.
- 40:43Speaker 3: How you ain't got nothing and you got a lot
- 40:45Speaker 3: of luxury.
- 40:45Speaker 7: What is it?
- 40:47Speaker 6: Well, you know like you don't have a lot of
- 40:50Speaker 6: clutter around you. You know your space is clean and neat.

- 41:17Speaker 6: That's where I got.
- 41:17Speaker 1: When you get it from Vogue or which one of
- 41:20Speaker 1: the magazines was it? Now we have a service. We

- 41:24Speaker 6: Oh you got a shabbing now, yes, ma'am, of course
- 41:28Speaker 6: kind of service.
- 41:28Speaker 1: White folks tell you a boy that where that come from?

- 41:32Speaker 1: Our heart? You know who we're employed by? iHeart?

- 41:43Speaker 2: Say, Steve, I don't know. I hard nothing. I hard
- 41:45Speaker 2: missed me with all this.

- 41:51Speaker 6: you have an image of luxury and cleanliness, and God just.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Represents puity, you know, like a woman with a white
- 41:58Speaker 3: dress when she getting married and less and lesson that
- 42:00Speaker 3: going around now though, and then you know we weren't
- 42:02Speaker 3: missionary white because we're doing the work of the Lloyd.
- 42:05Speaker 1: But you wear it even when you're not in church.
- 42:08Speaker 1: And why do you do that?
- 42:10Speaker 3: Well, because I don't buys a lot of clothes, Shirley,
- 42:12Speaker 3: and all of my my missionary outfit is pretty much

- 42:16Speaker 3: a strip club, had on missionary. When I go down
- 42:21Speaker 3: to the strip club, I wear missionary uniform. If I

- 42:40Speaker 10: Oh?
- 42:41Speaker 2: Shaves.
- 42:41Speaker 3: I saved stripper stripper soles, you know, have them. After
- 42:45Speaker 3: they come down off the pole, they come in the back.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I talked with them, ma'am, Well, okay, what do you
- 42:50Speaker 1: say though.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Well, you know, girl, the Lord don't want you to
- 42:54Speaker 2: do this. And then you know this. One girl came
- 42:56Speaker 2: off the pole and I said, you were born for this.
- 42:58Speaker 3: So I I ain't never seen nothing like it.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Lord.
- 43:05Speaker 3: She was holding on to the pole with no hands
- 43:07Speaker 3: or legs. I said, you better, you better, you better strip.

- 43:25Speaker 2: don't make your money.
- 43:27Speaker 6: But do you take money in the strip club? I mean,
- 43:30Speaker 6: did you make it rain for her for that particular
- 43:32Speaker 6: one pick?
- 43:33Speaker 3: Oh no, girl, I don't give it a way to
- 43:35Speaker 3: down all my money. I saved that money for tideing.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Oh okay, I.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Picked up money, though all the money don't make it
- 43:43Speaker 3: to the stage. I picked that up, you know. Yeah, yeah,

- 54:52Speaker 6: Thank you, nephew. Subject. It's amazing how nice he can be.
- 54:57Speaker 6: Here's Stephen Shirley. My husband and I have been married
- 55:00Speaker 6: for twenty two years and together for twenty seven years total.
- 55:04Speaker 6: He's settled into his ways, and since our children are
- 55:07Speaker 6: all grown and gone from the house, he's gotten good
- 55:10Speaker 6: at ignoring me. He grunts when I talk to him,
- 55:13Speaker 6: just to acknowledge that he heard me. My father said,
- 55:16Speaker 6: a man gets tired of us yapping all the time,
- 55:19Speaker 6: so I give him plenty of space. I love to
- 55:22Speaker 6: have people over because he's really nice when other people
- 55:25Speaker 6: are around, but then he goes right back to ignoring me.
- 55:29Speaker 6: There is one person that he really perks up for,
- 55:31Speaker 6: and he's on his best behavior if she's around. It's
- 55:35Speaker 6: my younger sister, My sister is almost twenty years younger
- 55:38Speaker 6: than I am, and she married her high school sweetheart
- 55:41Speaker 6: at a young age, and they moved to Hawaii after
- 55:44Speaker 6: he joined the army. Unfortunately, her husband died of COVID,
- 55:49Speaker 6: so she moved back to Philly to be near her family.
- 55:53Speaker 6: I knew back in the day that my husband had
- 55:55Speaker 6: a crush on her, because all the guys did. She's
- 55:58Speaker 6: always had long hair and a teeny tiny waistline with hips,
- 56:03Speaker 6: and after two children, she still has a nice body.
- 56:07Speaker 6: My mother and I get so tickled when my husband
- 56:10Speaker 6: is around my sister. He darn near smith's the air
- 56:14Speaker 6: when she walks by. It's amazing how nice he can
- 56:17Speaker 6: be to her. And I'm just glad to know that
- 56:20Speaker 6: something or somebody can revive him every once in a while.
- 56:24Speaker 6: My oldest sister is the hater of the family, and
- 56:27Speaker 6: she's the one that always.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Keeps up mess.
- 56:30Speaker 6: She told me that I need to keep an eye
- 56:32Speaker 6: on our little sister and my husband. There's no way
- 56:35Speaker 6: she's attracted to him, because I haven't been attracted to
- 56:38Speaker 6: him in years.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Should I be worried about them?
- 56:40Speaker 6: Or should I let this old man enjoy his crush
- 56:43Speaker 6: on my darling baby sister. Is it an innocent crush?
- 56:48Speaker 6: It is an innocent crush, right, Well, I mean I
- 56:51Speaker 6: know you trust your darling little sister, and yes, of
- 56:54Speaker 6: course it could be innocent.
- 56:55Speaker 1: But then yes, still keep your eyes on them.
- 56:58Speaker 6: I mean, just because you're no longer a track to
- 57:00Speaker 6: your husband, and how could you be with the way
- 57:03Speaker 6: he treats you, that doesn't mean other women won't be
- 57:06Speaker 6: attracted to him. And it's no secret to you and
- 57:08Speaker 6: your family that he's feeling your sister. We hear about
- 57:12Speaker 6: these types of stories every day in the Strawberry Letter.
- 57:16Speaker 6: But it doesn't mean that that's happening at your house.
- 57:19Speaker 6: Just be aware. The problem is that what is wrong
- 57:22Speaker 6: with your husband? Why is he acting this way?
- 57:25Speaker 1: You said?
- 57:25Speaker 6: Your dad said, men get tired of us yapping all
- 57:29Speaker 6: the time.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Well whatever with that?
- 57:30Speaker 6: I mean, you know you said you give him plenty
- 57:33Speaker 6: of space, so.
- 57:34Speaker 1: That's not it.
- 57:35Speaker 6: Your husband just sounds like a set in his ways, grumpy,
- 57:38Speaker 6: grouchy old man. And have you tried talking to him
- 57:42Speaker 6: about this? Have you guys had any kind of conversations? Well,
- 57:45Speaker 6: he doesn't listen to anything you say. Anyway, you said,
- 57:48Speaker 6: it doesn't sound like he would listen to you. But
- 57:50Speaker 6: I just say, as long as this is your sister
- 57:52Speaker 6: pays him no attention and doesn't engage him, and it
- 57:55Speaker 6: doesn't sound like she is, don't get mad at her.
- 57:59Speaker 6: Doesn't sound like you're her. Your crazy husband is the problem.
- 58:04Speaker 6: He's the problem, and you shouldn't have to put up
- 58:06Speaker 6: with this after twenty seven years, Steve.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Shirley, you just told the girl. You just told the
- 58:14Speaker 2: day to keep out.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:16Speaker 2: Yeah, then you just told them.
- 58:19Speaker 3: It ain't nothing. Now what you want to do now
- 58:22Speaker 3: you want to keep out them? Or it ain't nothing?
- 58:24Speaker 6: Steve, We get letters like this all the time. Keep
- 58:27Speaker 6: an eye. She could trust her sisters. Like I said,
- 58:30Speaker 6: as long as her sister doesn't engage or it pays
- 58:32Speaker 6: him no attention, it's cool. But yeah, she could still
- 58:35Speaker 6: keep an eye. What's wrong with keeping an eye? What
- 58:37Speaker 6: did I say wrong?
- 58:39Speaker 3: Okay, I'm so glad I'm here. The second's letters fellas again.
- 58:46Speaker 3: I want to apologize to all the men listening out
- 58:48Speaker 3: here again because once again.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Shirley has decided, don't you.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Take another family, don't die, go on to the other
- 59:01Speaker 2: side of the family.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Now, normally it's just let's get rid of her husband
- 59:05Speaker 3: and wife there if it was she gonna break up
- 59:09Speaker 3: the sisters, let me try to salvage this situation. That's
- 59:14Speaker 3: the reason why you have two responses to the Strawberry letters,
- 59:18Speaker 3: because you got to have different perspectives. Now you ask
- 59:21Speaker 3: the listener or write of the letter, you get to
- 59:23Speaker 3: decide which one you want to go with. Say, these
- 59:26Speaker 3: people been together twenty two years, twenty seven totals.
- 59:30Speaker 2: He's settling his.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Ways, and all the children grown and going out the house.
- 59:36Speaker 2: He's gotten good at ignoring me.
- 59:39Speaker 3: He grunts when I talk to him, just to acknowledge
- 59:43Speaker 3: that he heard me. My father said, the man gets
- 59:46Speaker 3: tired of us yapping all the time. Shirley said, well whatever,
- 59:51Speaker 3: That was her exact quote after that. But no, you
- 59:55Speaker 3: can't yell, and you can't oh yeah, whatever your way
- 59:58Speaker 3: out of this one. The father said, a man gets
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: tired of us yapping all the time. And Shirley made
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: another statement that we get letters like this all the time.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Just yesterday, as I recall, here's a woman that's upset
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: with her husband because she want a picture of himself
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: all the time. And now he go in there to
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: take a shower and he locked the door so she
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: can't come in there and sit and talk to him.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: That's yapping all the time.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: The man just won't take a shouting.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: Now here we go. Now, you want to talk to
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: your man all the time, you talk to you. That's
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: why he grunting, so he don't want to have to
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: have a verible exchange with you. It's sad, but all
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: this letter really is, Can I just be honest with y'all?
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Both of these people in this letter have grown tired
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: of one another, both of them and the only highlight
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: of his day, the only rare sunshine in his light,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: the only speaking of light. It's with Hello, fun Baboite system,
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: come over here. Yeah, well we come back. I'll finish up.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: This letter, Part two of Today's Strawberry Letter. It's coming up.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: We'll hear from Steve again at twenty three minutes after
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: the hours.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after the Big Loop.
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: You do you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:02:12Speaker 6: All right, come on, lips, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: All right, boy out here, I'll come.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Today's subject is it's amazing how nice he can be.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: You know, this woman been with this man all these years,
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: twenty seven years total, and the kids is out the house,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: and he's started ignoring her. He only grunts when she
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: speaks to him. She's getting tired of that. Now, you
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: went to your father, and your father said that a
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: man get tired of us yet and all the time,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: surely to that exact line, said old well whatever, Well,
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: see that's what's up.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: It ain't no old well, what help he talks too?
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Much heat and got.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Tired of her, but she is also tired of him.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: These are two people that have grown apart. The kids
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: is out the house. That was their purpose. They had
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: a purpose for staying together. That's diminished. That's gone. So
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: now they just right back to that. And I love
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: to have other people over because he's really nice when
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: other people all around, because he cool with them. But
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: then he goes right back to ignoring me. There is
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: one person here we go that really perks him up,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: and that is my younger sister. My sister's almost twenty
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: years younger than I am. She married a high school
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: sweetheart at a young age, and they moved to Hawaii
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: when he joined the army, and unfortunately her husband died
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: of COVID, so she moved back to Philly to be
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: near family. I knew back in the day that my
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: husband had a crush on her because all the guys see, uh,
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: here we go. She's always had long handed, teeny tiny
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: waistline with hips, and after two children, she still got
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: a nice barn. My mother and I get so tickled.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: He would go, He'll go to Lion Park right here.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: My mother and I get so tickled when my husband
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: is around my sister, he sniffs the and when she
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: walked by. All right, now, it's amazing how nice he
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: can be to her. And I'm just glad to know
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: that something or somebody can revive him every once in
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: a while.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Silly, are you really happy about this?
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Are you and your mother really tickled every time your
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: sister come back? Or are you aching from jealousy like
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: I think you are? And do you have a reason
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: to be jealous?
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Rightfully, so, if your husband gets excited about the presence
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: of another woman and it ain't you, of course you're
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: gonna be jealous.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: That's a natural thing to do, and you should be.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: My oldest sister is the hater in the family, and
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: she's the one that always keeps up mess. She told
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: me I need to keep an eye on our little sister.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: And my husband.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Oh okay, so now the young girl is a killer
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: and your oldest sister is a hater.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: The young sister is a killer.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: You know, kill a body, kill a hair, kill a waistline,
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: she banging, She's all guys have been attracted up and
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: then your older sister just to hate him.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: There is no way.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Here's a letter in the whole letter, Shirley that you
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: did not want to help me with. There's no way
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: she's attracted to him. Did you hear that? There is
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: no way she is attracted to him because I haven't
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: been attracted to him in years. There's the letter right there,
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: these two people tired of each other, he ignoring you. Yeah,
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: you ain't even attracted to the man and you ain't
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: been attracted to him in years. So how do you
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: think she's been behaving to this man who she's not
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: attracted to. If you stop liking your hus you can
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: love a person and not like. But you said you
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: have not been attracted to him in years, and he
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: know it. So now all this talking you doing, what
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: is what am I listening for? You ain't attracted to me,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: You ain't doing nothing with me? From your little sister,
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: she fine, Oh here, I just say it was her fault.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I'm just telling you that this two people. No, Sureley,
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: what it sounded like was you was trying to break up.
- 1:06:15Speaker 10: Man, You're.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I need to break up.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: But I was just two people who are sick of
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: each other. Yes, but you'd have dumped it all on
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: the man talking about you need to keep out on
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: your little sister.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: You need to keep out on him.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: But she said there's no way they attracted to him
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: because she ain't been attracted to him.
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: But that doesn't mean that doesn't mean that she can't
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: be attracted Other people can't be attracted to him.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Just because she's not attracted to him, That doesn't mean that.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: And I said that? Am I response?
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Anyway? Should I be worried about them?
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: Or should I let this old man enjoy his crush
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: on my dolling babysitter?
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: You ain't got to let him do it. He's doing
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: it anyway, yady doing it?
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: You and your mama say you already tickled about you,
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: And I don't think you are.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I think you're jealous.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: But then you're not attracted to him, and you haven't
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: been in years. So what do you want me to say?
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Should I let him have his Why are you gonna
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: stop it? If you ain't attracted to him? Could it
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: be heting attracted to you? No?
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Mo, Well that's why I'm saying it.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: In my life, I didn't know she treats him like
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: crap because she has crap.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: That's because they're both tired of each other.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: Right, I don't want, young lady, if you're gonna start
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: changing your answer bottle services.
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: Inside, well, you brought me into it. You brought me

- 1:10:18Speaker 3: glad healthy, It's just for sick.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know what, just open up nexture over
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: anybody that's sick. I think that's a great.
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, anybody. So you got all the medical people out there,
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: let's go on and open it.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: They put them use.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't care, we don't care what's wrong. Just
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: come on out, stay on the bridge. Though is the
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: eighth animal. But here's what I'm most proud of anything.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: I'm gonna say that.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: I know what you're most proud of? Eight years.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: You ain't lost nobody. The entire eight years, we have
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: not lost anybody.

- 1:10:56Speaker 4: I said, hell, record, But the way he said argue
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: with them, it just he just said, you ain't lost nobody.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: And we have not had not one incident.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, not one incident.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: But what are you most proud of?
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: I went that one year and tackle that one lady
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: was trying to climb over the breeth.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: What are you most proud of?
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: You think?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I will say this?
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: So here's what you can't do. I am the vice
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: president of Nahara International, and our whole mission is to
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: change civil cell for the entire world. Oh now, my
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: new mandate by my CEO is to write the protocol
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: about how civil cell people will be treated and they're
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: gonna pumplish it. It'll be in every hospital.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Just my new mission that is really big.
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: The month of June is recognized as Here's Hope Sickle
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Cell Away.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: It is.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: All right, that is, and I've made my usual annual
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: financial contribution.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: That's why you need to do these.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: Joke congratulations more after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: Harvey Morning Show. All right, This is from Chan in Allentown.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: Chan says, my sister said that my husband was flirting
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: heavily with her. I told her that I want to
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: set him up and see it and hear it for myself.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: She said that I should believe her, and she's not
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: willing to set him up so I can get proof.
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: She brought this to me and expects me to believe
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: her over my husband. Am I wrong for wanting to
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: catch him in the act? Am I supposed to take
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: her word for it and go confront my husband?
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: No?
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Don't you know? She sounds crazy? But then she don't
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: want to set him up. But then she wants you
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: to take her word for it for what you know?
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: What you know? What are you talking about? Why she so?
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Why is she wanting to mess up your happiness.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Yeah, this sounds really crazy. And often know you're around
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: my husband when I'm not a man.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Where all this happened?
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Where is the hook's going?
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: And where is this conversation? Is this on the phone?
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: You have his number? Do you have phone records? Can
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: you show me? Y'all talk for fifteen to twenty minutes?
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: So my sister said that my husband was flirting heavily
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: with her. Okay, you don't want to set them up, sister? Yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: heavily is all.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Day, every day, every time you get a spare moment.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: He must not be working. He must not be working.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, where's he getting the time to do all of this?
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: And why always to get what was going on? Yeah?
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: So should she take her sister's word for it? Or
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: should she confront her husband?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: What are you taking? Listen?
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Unless your sister can verify what she's saying, Why would
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: she say this to you? Why is she so determined
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: not to see you happy?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Right? And whose sister would do that to their sister?
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: We have time for another one, Steve. This is from
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: Wan and Baton Rouge. Wan says, I married a woman
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: that does not get along with the females in my family.
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: She goes to family functions and smokes cigars with my
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: uncles and plays cards with my male cousins to avoid
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: the drama with the females in my family. My dad
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: even said he can't figure out why my aunt's cousins
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: and my mom.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Don't like her.
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: The last straw for me was an invitation to my
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: cousin's wedding and it didn't include my wife. It said,
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: quote no plus one allowed. Do I beg them to
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: like my wife? Or is it time to separate from
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: my family for a while.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Well, if you and.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Your wife are cool, and you and your wife is
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: doing really great, man to hell with your.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: Family, alrighty, because wife is family too.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Yeah? So wow, okay, do I beg them to like
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: my wife? Yeah?
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: That's what he Well, they're not.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, they treated her and now instead of her not
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: doing it, she sat over there with the uncles and
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: play cards and smoked cigars, so she she fitting near
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: what she she getting in where she fit in. Instead
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: of being at the union and having an argument and
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: everything with them, the sisters, she let them sisters be messy.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: I know exactly what it is, though. Your wife find
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: it and all of them and they done got together
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: all now she thinks she all that naunt her. Yeah,
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: that's all it did. So, but don't mess your happiness
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: up trying to make your family right.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: So he should not go to the wedding since it
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: said no plus one allowed.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: When my cousin I miss my cousins win what I care?
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: Yeah, this is mean and and it's mean, it's rude.
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: But invite him to the wedding and hent bring his yes, yeah.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Get to me right now, it's sound. Get up, yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: bring nobody good. Why you say that, Junior, because you
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: don't want to see all this little style foam chicken.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: We've got to eat this fish, all this other stuff.
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: Meetings to say, the same tablecloth that said Chili's we
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: got all this.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Why would I bring somebody to this.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Chili had tablecloth cloth they got.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: You know that's Junior's favorite restaurant. Don't stop. I don't
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: want to see how to win, right.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Anybody all the time.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Everybody start the win, start like can't find the preacher.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, don't go all right, thank you guys.
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: Coming up at twenty minutes after we will have more
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So, guys,
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: women are increasingly, I don't know if you've heard about this,
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: but women are increasingly choosing not to take their husband's
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: last name after marriage. You guys, we know don't have
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: that problem, while a significant majority of women still do.
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: The subject is highly debated, as some women think that
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: taking the husband's last name is an outdated tradition back
- 1:17:25Speaker 6: when a woman was transferred from her father to her husband,
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: way back in the day.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: They're saying.
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: Also, women who have established careers often want to maintain
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: their professional identity and avoid the legal paperwork to change
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: their names. So here's the question. Is this up for debate?
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: Debate with you guys?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: What do you think? I mean, your wives have your
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: last names?
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: My life my wife?
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that's never a good I don't even know what
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: it is even a story.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Would you talk about?
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Because you know times have changed?
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: Yeah, right, and sometimes ain't changing.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: I'm paying you got to take the name.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Times changed, but I ain't changed.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I ain't changed. So she doesn't want your name, she
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: doesn't want you. You agree with that Steve.
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: Give me the house key bang, because a lot of
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: women now don't want to take their husband's last name,
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: especially if they're established in their career as a certain person.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: I bet you ain't disestablished, thank you.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: They say it's dated.
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: You know a lot of women say it's dated to
- 1:18:29Speaker 6: take their husband's last name.
- 1:18:31Speaker 7: Jackie's last name is Jackie kniff You Timmy Miles.
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: It is.

- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Everybody's in agreement on that one. Would you rather kiss
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: a pet monkey in the mouth or eat a bowl
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: of chitterling chit lins?

- 1:20:08Speaker 12: right here?
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but but I bet that I'm not gonna have
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: no monkey walking around talking about me?
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: What all?
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: Would you rather be tall with big hips or be
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: short with the six pack?
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: This is for the men, Yeah, of course, yeah, I'm
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: just gonna be short with the six pair.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: I can't no short with the six pair.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: You're just gonna be that, okay tall.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: I don't want no hip. I don't want no.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Hip men with hips.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: It don't look right.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: No, no, but it's something that I don't Oh, yeah,
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: you've seen them.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Did they get those?
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't say they stand up and eat you
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: supposed to. Then you get the hell does that?
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Ain't they right?
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I thought it was a leg get big legs if
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you did that. Okay, we're moving on.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: Would you rather eat whatever without gaining weight or just
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: say whatever without any consequences?
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Oh, he's interesting. Yeah, I'd rather say what you already. Yeah,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I want to let it out.
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: You saying so much stuff it calls consequences.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Just today, okay, few hours? Yeah, Russian empires.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: I don't care. Man. If I could say anything.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: That would bring you such great pleasure, steve everything.
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: I go back to comedy Tyler my special was. I
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: ain't trying to be funny.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I just want to say it all right.
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: Would you rather do two laps in a race car
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: at three hundred miles per hour or zip line over
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: the ocean?
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:22:00Speaker 11: The way you're dead.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna take that three hundred miles by man, you
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: ain't gonna make you.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: Ain't gonna live at a race car.
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: Three hundred months anything, But it's for two less certainly
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: not a bike.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, three hundred miles per hour in a race car.
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: And ain't gonna take that long? Get round the two left.
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: But but that zipping over that ocean. That's gonna take
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: it lapse. You're not gonna make out the first curve.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: All right, that's today's rounding. Would you rather? Guys coming

- 1:23:36Speaker 6: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day,
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: and you know See we talked earlier about women increasingly
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: like these days, they don't want to take their husband's
- 1:23:47Speaker 6: last name when they get married and stuff.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: They say, you know, that's outdated.
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: They want to keep their own name, especially if they're
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: in established careers and all of that. You know, it
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: used to happen back in the day when a woman
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: transferred from her father to her husband, and they don't
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: want to do it. Now they don't want to do it.
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: The subject is still highly debated because you know, most
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: men want their wives to take their last name.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: So what do you think about that?
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: I mean, for me, it's just simple, you know. Uh,
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: I'm old school, I'm been this way. That's the way
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: it is for me. If you don't want to do this,
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: then that's fine. Going to be by yourself. Keep your
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: daddy's name, Oh yeah, keep your daddy's name as your daddy.
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: You know, you know it helps, you know, you know,
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: raise a family, you know, get your daddy to do
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: all that.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: You know, what about hyphenated though?
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: What if she kept her last name and then hyphenated
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: it and put your name on there too.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: No, No, no, no, ain't nobody being no, Ain't nobody going
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: to be in front of me.
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: Okay, okay, ain't no, ain't no man coming in front
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: of me, period. But it is your daddy, that's right.
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: I'm glad you think a lot of you daddy marry
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: your daddy.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Didn't you, dad? She cannot marry her dad.
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: I mean, you know, I just think that this should
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: be more of an open conversation than a closer remark
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: because my mind is closed to this. I'm not even
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: open to it. And you know what, these new single
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: ways that people are it doesn't.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Work because times have changed.
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: Times have changed, But so what people have changed for
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: the worst?
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: Man, times have changed, but they have changed for the worst.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: I mean, look at what they do now. You know
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: they do it to polygamy. They're doing that. That's changing
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: for the worst. You know, men get to have two
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: chicks living. I was watching this thing on Netflix the
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: other day about macho male, the animalistic male. I watched
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: this special I don't even know what the name of what,
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: and it was about all these men who are overly
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: masking in alpha male, that's what they call it.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: And then their relationship.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: So they had the little dude, the one of the
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: white guys had a wife, and two kids. But he
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: got two girlfriends too, and the wife is okay with it.
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: And then the little, oh, the black looking dude that's
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: on these shows, he a podcasting. He got a little
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: Puerto Rican girl that stay at his house with him,

- 1:28:29Speaker 3: And then if she don't want that, then hear what
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: it takes to get the rest of it. She suppose
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: me and started saying that if you don't take my name,
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: then let's just keep dating. I don't think that's fair. Well, okay,
