- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bus bus things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not good. Steve Hasten to mother for star. Don't join jo.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Got to turn them out, to turn turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your bag. H huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I'll show with them. Good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay. I want to
- 2:15Speaker 1: share something with you that I had to come to
- 2:17Speaker 1: the realization one time, and even in the reinvention of
- 2:21Speaker 1: myself right now, I've had to come to that and
- 2:24Speaker 1: I want to share it with you today. Give it
- 2:27Speaker 1: to you. I want to tell you about something that
- 2:30Speaker 1: a lot of people do in their life and I
- 2:32Speaker 1: want you to be aware of it. Here it is,
- 2:37Speaker 1: don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong. You
- 2:41Speaker 1: know I said, don't get stuck on yourself. You could
- 2:51Speaker 1: be wrong. You know. The reason I'm saying this is
- 2:56Speaker 1: because people have a tendency to once they make a
- 3:03Speaker 1: decision about something, or once they decide to go a
- 3:06Speaker 1: certain path, they go against all everything, anything anybody says,
- 3:13Speaker 1: anything anybody might do, any other ruling they may come across.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They shun advice, they don't listen to counsel. They just
- 3:28Speaker 1: I made the decision. I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't
- 3:34Speaker 1: get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong, you know.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Now here's a sure fire way to tell if you're wrong.
- 3:45Speaker 1: If you don't see any movement in the direction you've chosen,
- 3:53Speaker 1: if you don't see anything going right in that decision,
- 4:00Speaker 1: if you feel as though you're interrupt if the wall
- 4:06Speaker 1: you're climbing seems so insurmountable that you ain't even moving
- 4:12Speaker 1: an inch, and every time you turn around you keep
- 4:15Speaker 1: getting knocked by down, knocked back down. Don't get stuck
- 4:18Speaker 1: on yourself. You know you could be wrong, you know. See,
- 4:22Speaker 1: that's why it's important for people to always be open
- 4:27Speaker 1: to the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot be
- 4:32Speaker 1: afraid to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't be
- 4:37Speaker 1: afraid to change. Change is necessary when it comes to growth.
- 4:44Speaker 1: There is no growth without change. The more you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: the older you look, That is no growth without change.
- 4:56Speaker 1: If you're heading in a direction, it ain't nothing going
- 4:58Speaker 1: right in your life. Could it be the wrong direction.
- 5:02Speaker 1: If you're climbing and you're making no headway, could it
- 5:05Speaker 1: be the wrong direction? Could you have possibly made the
- 5:10Speaker 1: wrong choice. Don't get stuck on yourself because you didn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: made the wrong stuff. It's okay to forgive yourself. It's
- 5:16Speaker 1: okay to let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter
- 5:20Speaker 1: sometimes to admit that you were wrong. You ever met
- 5:23Speaker 1: somebody ain't ever wrong. Have you ever met somebody you
- 5:27Speaker 1: talk to? They ain't ever wrong about nothing. Man, They
- 5:30Speaker 1: just it's their way or the highway. It's this is
- 5:33Speaker 1: my way, this is the I know people like that,
- 5:36Speaker 1: stuck on them powered trips and all like that. You
- 5:38Speaker 1: know what I had to learn how to do. I
- 5:40Speaker 1: had to learn how to let them go on them
- 5:42Speaker 1: powered trips. But listen to this. Though you're not taking
- 5:45Speaker 1: me on that trip. Though you're going on that trip
- 5:47Speaker 1: by yourself, I'm going in the right direction. I've decided
- 5:52Speaker 1: to stop the way. Okay, listen to this person. This person,
- 5:57Speaker 1: I decided to stop doing business the way I was
- 6:00Speaker 1: doing business. I decided to stop to allow business being
- 6:05Speaker 1: done around me the way business was being done around me.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You know what, you know, the best decision I made
- 6:12Speaker 1: was to allow for God to have some say so
- 6:18Speaker 1: and to offer me his direction. I have found him
- 6:22Speaker 1: to be a better driver than anyone else I know.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I have found him to know more about the man
- 6:30Speaker 1: he made than anybody else who's merely associating with me.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I have found it to be a fact that my
- 6:38Speaker 1: maker knows more about the vehicle he created than does
- 6:43Speaker 1: anybody else. If you if your Chevy break, don't you
- 6:46Speaker 1: take it to Chevy. You don't take your Forward when
- 6:50Speaker 1: it break down to a Toyota dealership. They not gonna
- 6:54Speaker 1: know everything that the Ford dealership would know about the vehicle.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You know why, because they're not the maker of it.
- 7:01Speaker 1: So now, why are you letting you letting your life
- 7:04Speaker 1: being led, controlled and guided by somebody other than your maker.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm just asking you to let's all take a common
- 7:14Speaker 1: sense look at this. So if going to your maker's
- 7:17Speaker 1: the best way, the best decision I made in my
- 7:19Speaker 1: business was take over my brand myself, and to allow
- 7:25Speaker 1: the maker of this brand see without God, I'm none
- 7:28Speaker 1: of this, I'm none of this. I want you to
- 7:30Speaker 1: clearly understand I ain't none of this without him. I
- 7:34Speaker 1: wish I could have the guts to reach back there
- 7:38Speaker 1: and pat myself on the back for what I've accomplished
- 7:41Speaker 1: in my life. I wish I had the guts. I
- 7:43Speaker 1: wish the nerve of me because I know for or
- 7:47Speaker 1: fact that there is no way that I could have
- 7:50Speaker 1: manufactured the life that I have. I could not even
- 7:54Speaker 1: have thought of it. It's no way I could have
- 7:57Speaker 1: told you that this was the route I was gonna
- 7:59Speaker 1: take and the outcome because of it. I had no idea,
- 8:03Speaker 1: no clue. The one thing I had, though, was an
- 8:07Speaker 1: unshakable faith in God. I had an I just kept
- 8:13Speaker 1: believing in him. I kept believing that he had something
- 8:17Speaker 1: more for me. And then when I touched base with
- 8:20Speaker 1: him and asked him to show me what it is
- 8:22Speaker 1: what he had for me, Tada, the magic show began.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Because you know what he did. He took all my
- 8:29Speaker 1: natural abilities that he had given to me. This gift
- 8:32Speaker 1: that he gave me, that he poured into me at birth,
- 8:36Speaker 1: that same gift that he poured into you at birth.
- 8:39Speaker 1: The moment you go to him and let him show
- 8:41Speaker 1: you that gift, and then guess what. Once he takes
- 8:45Speaker 1: what he naturally put in you and put his super
- 8:49Speaker 1: his superpowers on top of that, then you have some
- 8:52Speaker 1: supernatural things going on in your life and you may
- 8:55Speaker 1: not be feeling me. I'm cool with that, but I
- 9:00Speaker 1: didn't have some supernatural things happen to me. Every day
- 9:05Speaker 1: I wake up some supernatural the man, the rewards of
- 9:09Speaker 1: my life, the awards of my life, the accomplishments, the
- 9:13Speaker 1: how I'm working, the how I manage it all, all
- 9:16Speaker 1: that ain't none but God. That ain't nothing but God.
- 9:19Speaker 1: You can't even explain this schedule to people sometimes when
- 9:22Speaker 1: people ask me, Steve, how do you do it? I go, well,
- 9:25Speaker 1: it's what I manage my time. Then at the end
- 9:27Speaker 1: of when I get through, I say, hey, man, you
- 9:28Speaker 1: know what I need to tell y'all for real, it's God.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I don't really know, but I'm letting him manage me.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So he handling it. He ain't gonna put no more
- 9:36Speaker 1: of it than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 9:42Speaker 1: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you absolutely could be wrong if you don't tie this
- 9:51Speaker 1: to your gift. You will be struggling the rest of
- 9:55Speaker 1: your life. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, let me have
- 10:02Speaker 1: it your undivided attention. Welcome to the ride. This is
- 10:06Speaker 1: you hear me? Is Steve Harvey Morning Show? Is that
- 10:11Speaker 1: mean out of doubt? Little hill between what between? Get
- 10:22Speaker 1: out between them? Calls, ladies and gentlemen. This is Steve
- 10:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Today. We're dedicating the show to everybody
- 10:30Speaker 1: out there to stay in safe and to all the
- 10:32Speaker 1: ignorant people that ain't got on masks. Get a damn mask.
- 10:35Speaker 1: This is the way I heard dummies explained. They got
- 10:39Speaker 1: a thing that they sent out the mask explained for dummies.
- 10:43Speaker 1: How do we know the mask is effective? This is
- 10:46Speaker 1: how they said it. If everybody is walking around naked
- 10:51Speaker 1: and someone peas on you, you will get wet right away.
- 10:57Speaker 1: But if you have on pants only some of the
- 11:01Speaker 1: people will get on you. But if the person that's
- 11:04Speaker 1: pe has on pants too, all the peer stay in
- 11:09Speaker 1: his pants and won't get over there on your pants.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Are we clear? Where your damn mask? That's all that's fault.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's a P analogy, a P analogy, Yes, okay, Yes,
- 11:28Speaker 1: that's where I wanted to start to show. Shirley Strawberry, Hey,
- 11:31Speaker 1: good morning, Steve, Happy Monday. Colin Farrell, good morning. What's up? Crew? Haste?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah that that damn junior. Want everybody got on the team.
- 11:45Speaker 1: J Anthony Brown, what up? Steve Harby? What's going on? Man?
- 11:49Speaker 1: The food King of Pranks? Nephew, Tommy, let me pee
- 11:52Speaker 1: on it. Let me just pee on it. That's what
- 11:56Speaker 1: it is. I mean, that's what he's saying. No, say
- 12:01Speaker 1: that really when Jay will be on it after me, okay,
- 12:09Speaker 1: just just know okay, And later this week we'll be
- 12:19Speaker 1: doing the the Sipper News. We're gonna do the Simper News.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Oh I love it. I love it. It's simper News.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It's Mississippi Monica with the news. She does all things
- 12:38Speaker 1: that just we call it just a simper news where
- 12:41Speaker 1: it ain't it ain't really news, it ain't really factual.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's just something that that went around the simp just
- 12:51Speaker 1: kind of came out on the air. A right, Yes,
- 12:55Speaker 1: it ain't real factual. Yeah, well, so how was how was?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I was a weekend? Fair body weekend every weekend two
- 13:07Speaker 1: days late, every yesterday. I was talking Tay talking. I
- 13:17Speaker 1: was the most exhausted I ever been yesterday I was
- 13:22Speaker 1: I couldn't. I don't know, man, my workhouse is a
- 13:26Speaker 1: little bit too hard for him. I think I'm head
- 13:28Speaker 1: Oh wow, was you out of breath? Coming up at
- 13:32Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, some trending political news.
- 13:36Speaker 1: We'll talk about Former President George Bush calls for unity.
- 13:40Speaker 1: We'll discuss all of that right after this. You're listening
- 13:43Speaker 1: to show trending political news. Over the weekend, President George W.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Bush Okay released a nearly three minute long video. He
- 13:55Speaker 1: addressed the challenging and solemn time people across the country
- 13:59Speaker 1: and the world are face seen during this pandemic. As
- 14:01Speaker 1: a video came to a close, former President Bush asked
- 14:04Speaker 1: people to remember how small our differences are in the
- 14:07Speaker 1: face of this shared threat. Take a listen to this.
- 14:11Speaker 1: In the final analysis, we are not partisan combatants. We're
- 14:16Speaker 1: human beings, equally vulnerable and equally wonderful in the sight
- 14:21Speaker 1: of God. We rise or fall together, and we are
- 14:26Speaker 1: determined to rise. I miss him another what the end
- 14:32Speaker 1: of the day. He needs to see everyone. I miss
- 14:38Speaker 1: everyone before Trump, right, but I missed him though he
- 14:41Speaker 1: still sounded very presidential. It just sounded like s who
- 14:44Speaker 1: was nice. Yes, Hey, hey, hey, listen, this whole thing
- 14:49Speaker 1: is gonna just like disappears like a note, like it
- 14:51Speaker 1: never happened. Right, Well, he's just gonna be gone. Yesterday,
- 14:58Speaker 1: President Trump had a problem with former President Bush's call
- 15:01Speaker 1: for unity. President Trump criticized Bush for sharing his message.
- 15:06Speaker 1: He tweeted, I appreciate the sharing of former President Bush,
- 15:10Speaker 1: but where was he during the impeachment calling for putting
- 15:14Speaker 1: partisanship aside? Uh? He was nowhere to be found and
- 15:17Speaker 1: speaking up against the greatest hoax in American history. About
- 15:29Speaker 1: how the hell does he take a mess and a
- 15:32Speaker 1: message of inspiration to the people into Where the hell
- 15:36Speaker 1: was he at? Right? Man? Man, this dude, man, I
- 15:40Speaker 1: don't see you know, I just don't see how you
- 15:44Speaker 1: can be a thinking person and vote for this guy.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I just don't see how. It's a lot of them
- 15:49Speaker 1: out there, of the hopefully not a whole lot of them. Scary,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I know, I know, well as we all know. President
- 15:58Speaker 1: Trump came under fire for his handling of the pandemic,
- 16:01Speaker 1: including nationwide testing and all of that, changing his tone
- 16:04Speaker 1: on the seriousness of the virus and beefing up his
- 16:08Speaker 1: various state governors. You know, he was beefing with them,
- 16:11Speaker 1: the governors, And I mean it's just been a mess. Really,
- 16:15Speaker 1: it's just been a big mess. Just just a mess. Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 1: and he's I don't know, is he trying to clean
- 16:22Speaker 1: it up? No, does it look like he's trying to
- 16:24Speaker 1: clean it up. I don't know. Yeah, he's the worst.
- 16:28Speaker 1: He doesn't He doesn't know how we have a person
- 16:31Speaker 1: in office who's in charge of governing the masses. And
- 16:35Speaker 1: in order to govern, you have to lead by caring.
- 16:39Speaker 1: He's never cared for anyone. That He's done nothing in
- 16:44Speaker 1: his life to care for anybody other than himself. True,
- 16:48Speaker 1: and so it's obvious, man, he don't. He compliments no one.
- 16:54Speaker 1: If you disagree with him, get ready for the attack.
- 16:58Speaker 1: So that can never be bipartisanship or or reaching across
- 17:02Speaker 1: the aisle, because he can't reach across to al if
- 17:05Speaker 1: you don't agree with him. Right, This dude, just dude
- 17:09Speaker 1: just completes the frado of all the presidents. I'm a
- 17:13Speaker 1: godfraid from the god analogy nowhere where I wanted it.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm smart and say this didn't nobody like fraido but
- 17:36Speaker 1: they loved him. Yeah, they didn't trust him with the family,
- 17:39Speaker 1: did all. But Jay, he doesn't think he's fraido. That's
- 17:47Speaker 1: scary part. Yeah, yeah, he's Yeah, he does. That's what
- 17:52Speaker 1: he thinks. Michael, Oh my god. If not, Michael, don't work.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It might not work. It might work. I don't know.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm saying that you don't read later. But if he
- 18:07Speaker 1: tells people to put an alcohol in the behind one
- 18:09Speaker 1: more damn time, he's done, man, he is gonna be finished. Man.
- 18:13Speaker 1: But then he was saying, Hey, I was joking. Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm never saying. How many times can you allow a
- 18:20Speaker 1: man to say he was joking, he didn't mean that,
- 18:27Speaker 1: that's not what I said, or just lie flat out
- 18:31Speaker 1: lying say I never said that. How many times do
- 18:35Speaker 1: you need to see this happen before you go Wait
- 18:39Speaker 1: a minute, man, something wrong with you? Constantly? This is constantly, man,
- 18:45Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like it anywhere I grew up
- 18:49Speaker 1: with liars. We'll be outside, lad just lying for no reason.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You're pretty good, Yeah, uncles. Yeah, man, y'all feel that
- 19:10Speaker 1: earthquake last night? Now we ecleve. Oh, y'all ain't feeling
- 19:19Speaker 1: stody in the city failed it nobody it was. I'm
- 19:23Speaker 1: telling y'all, man was an earthquake. I mean, dog just
- 19:26Speaker 1: bold face lies, man, it was real. Late Now y'all
- 19:31Speaker 1: missed attention seeking Steve, what is that? He just he
- 19:35Speaker 1: just wanted he if he if he believed it, it
- 19:39Speaker 1: was right, and if you didn't believe it, you was wrong.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And here come to debate. How you know it wasn't earthquake? Okay,
- 19:49Speaker 1: because it just happened at your house. Why do you
- 19:55Speaker 1: think the president lies? I think he wants to win
- 19:58Speaker 1: the election so bad lets that he will do whatever
- 20:03Speaker 1: it takes to get reelected. That's not that. Yeah, he's childish, immature,
- 20:09Speaker 1: he wants to be light. He's an idiot. He's an idiot.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Nobody wants to say it. He's an idiot. He says
- 20:18Speaker 1: anything and it doesn't even matter if it makes sense
- 20:20Speaker 1: to him. Some of it don't make sense to him.
- 20:23Speaker 1: That's an idiot. He just says anything because he calls
- 20:29Speaker 1: people names. Oh yeah, yeah, that's to me, that's just childish. Yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: all right, coming up next, it is Monday, so you
- 20:36Speaker 1: know what that means. Get ready for church complaints with
- 20:39Speaker 1: Reverend Motown and Deacon def Jam that's coming up right
- 20:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening morning show coming up at the
- 20:47Speaker 1: top of the hour, Miss Anna standing by with today's
- 20:50Speaker 1: COVID nineteen national news plus an entertainment news. Steve's gonna
- 20:54Speaker 1: tell us about family Feud Africa, Steve all right, and
- 20:59Speaker 1: the mentor Monday with the Harvey Foundation. We'll also discuss
- 21:03Speaker 1: we'll discuss all of these stories at the top of
- 21:05Speaker 1: the hour, but first it is Monday, so it's time
- 21:07Speaker 1: to laugh. Let's do that a little bit, shall we.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Here's rabind Motown tacking depth jam with church complaints. Let's
- 21:14Speaker 1: go so go we bo this day, gabol momtoriously for
- 21:27Speaker 1: the empire intimacy of these church complaints. We carniferously go
- 21:37Speaker 1: about this in a meticulous way, knowing that the repetidiness,
- 21:45Speaker 1: a quadrious effacenticity is that ahead. I'm preaching, Let the
- 21:54Speaker 1: complaints begin. Go ahead. I've got to get more into
- 21:59Speaker 1: my old pass the boys. Yeah, it's it's all right.
- 22:03Speaker 1: But before we start, I on these big words you use.
- 22:07Speaker 1: It's them really words. I never heard half word. I
- 22:11Speaker 1: know you just because you don't have half the sis
- 22:13Speaker 1: I got jam. But no, I'm just asking, oh, don't mind,
- 22:18Speaker 1: Sister Shirley. If you ain't had that y'all casion that
- 22:22Speaker 1: I have had, there's no way what again? Say again,
- 22:29Speaker 1: y'all casion right there? Understand that I have had? Did
- 22:34Speaker 1: you not gonna know these words? All right? Moving right around?
- 22:40Speaker 1: I'm not listening past it. You you brought up sister Sharley.
- 22:43Speaker 1: The first complaint is about her. He comes from her
- 22:47Speaker 1: husband's sister Sharley Strawberry hasn't gotten her half done in
- 22:52Speaker 1: the last month and a half. Her husband or Nesto,
- 22:56Speaker 1: is asking can we send a drive by styles to
- 23:01Speaker 1: do her hair. He says that she is unidentifiable. He
- 23:05Speaker 1: don't know how when he sees a pass that's your carl.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I we're gonna send somebody else. We're not part of
- 23:13Speaker 1: this hill. Your sister Sherley is hell Oh. I have
- 23:17Speaker 1: known sister Sherley for years and years. Haven't never seen
- 23:22Speaker 1: that as a problem before now due to quantity. But
- 23:26Speaker 1: he's different nowpas, Lots of people needs some help. So
- 23:32Speaker 1: I don't know how. Six your look, that's his problem. Yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 1: let you leave at it. We got our own problem
- 23:40Speaker 1: that our own at our own quarantine. And last thing
- 23:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it bring up her? Hell? Hell, look
- 23:46Speaker 1: at how to hell her? Hell? Look, I ain't got
- 23:48Speaker 1: nothing to do with that. Now, don't start that. That's
- 23:51Speaker 1: that's a fire we don't need. I'm still acute anyway.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Look he got to because you can't go nowhere. He
- 24:01Speaker 1: got these lines rolling at an alarming rate right now,
- 24:07Speaker 1: right now, passing. I asked you one more damn to
- 24:17Speaker 1: all right, brother, we passed. We are brother and sister
- 24:21Speaker 1: Boykins are in a big, in big trouble right now.
- 24:25Speaker 1: They are. They have been in the house since early
- 24:29Speaker 1: March due to COVID nineteen now it's now May. They
- 24:33Speaker 1: have been eating so much they not cannot get at
- 24:38Speaker 1: the front dough. They are. They want the church now
- 24:42Speaker 1: to pay to get the door converted into a garage
- 24:45Speaker 1: dough so they can get out. That's your compass. They
- 24:49Speaker 1: are stuck in the house, Pathing, They stuck in that.
- 24:52Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that. Have a suggestion for the
- 24:55Speaker 1: Boykins family, all right, but no, as the husband I suggested,
- 25:02Speaker 1: he moved the refrigerator into the hallway and start at
- 25:08Speaker 1: the living room and run as fast he kid, build
- 25:11Speaker 1: up speed and just bust his ass out that kitchen.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Just bust his ass. You know, he's probably gonna cut
- 25:21Speaker 1: itself pretty bad, but that's my recommendation. And then his wife,
- 25:26Speaker 1: Ernstein Bunking, he can get on the other side of
- 25:29Speaker 1: the door and pull half at ass out and then
- 25:33Speaker 1: they'll both be out. We don't, we don't need the garage,
- 25:35Speaker 1: do so I tell him we're not gonna pay for
- 25:39Speaker 1: the garage dough to help them get out, because that's
- 25:42Speaker 1: we're seeing two cans of Chris go over to the
- 25:45Speaker 1: house so he can grease down the doorways. You think
- 25:49Speaker 1: they can slide out to do with the Chris ground, Well,
- 25:52Speaker 1: I had a part of mine got out of prison
- 25:54Speaker 1: like that, So if it worked for him, that's city
- 26:00Speaker 1: the city jail. It wouldn't is able to eat inches high.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Let me keep moving past it. Listen here a lot
- 26:07Speaker 1: of side chicks have completely lost it past it. They
- 26:10Speaker 1: are now calling these men's houses and telling the wives
- 26:15Speaker 1: uh to put them on the phone. Some have gone
- 26:18Speaker 1: as far as asked asked him if he would like
- 26:21Speaker 1: to be with me. The men would like for you
- 26:24Speaker 1: to call these women and calm them down past get
- 26:27Speaker 1: side chicks. But I'm not gonna be able to do that.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm not calling anyone or I know nothing of us
- 26:36Speaker 1: side peace or place on the side. I understand it,
- 26:41Speaker 1: but fast, we're not gonna get into that. There are
- 26:49Speaker 1: no side chicks here at the jack park joined the
- 26:52Speaker 1: rule minute. Yes it is past. You didn't know that.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I tell you, Digg legitimate. Now we don't head that.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Now now we have some side checked here at the
- 27:04Speaker 1: jack pot. What you're gonna stop saying, is we amen again?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Little we we We don't have a damn thing. Okay, past,
- 27:18Speaker 1: not you, but there awesome side chicks here at the
- 27:23Speaker 1: jack pot after redom, and they might out remind Judy
- 27:28Speaker 1: that you are also doing your Rigio show from your house. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 1: I looked around. What do you expected her to drop?
- 27:40Speaker 1: You know? You know what you know, Pat, We're not
- 27:44Speaker 1: gonna we I shouldn't have wrote this. We're gonna move
- 27:46Speaker 1: on past. Tell you you're right. I made a mistake.
- 27:56Speaker 1: The next one, sister Paulette Riley's been working out around
- 28:01Speaker 1: the house. She ran out of things to pick up. Okay,
- 28:05Speaker 1: so now see his bench pressing brother Doug Riley. He
- 28:10Speaker 1: he has called asking can we come get him? Because
- 28:13Speaker 1: he didn't drop him? Full times, Ben pressing. He didn't
- 28:16Speaker 1: bench pressed him full times. Pawther nt keep dropping him. So, uh,
- 28:19Speaker 1: he's asking can the church come pick him up? But
- 28:22Speaker 1: I don't know where we're gonna take him because we
- 28:25Speaker 1: were quarantine. Yes, we are unable to come swing by
- 28:29Speaker 1: pick up any members in dire stressful situations due to
- 28:34Speaker 1: the covide or situation. Yeah. Now, if brother Junior, Deacon
- 28:40Speaker 1: Junior wants to go by there, we will let him
- 28:42Speaker 1: go by where what I don't think Brother Junior want
- 28:47Speaker 1: to bring go by there bringing another man to back
- 28:50Speaker 1: to his place. I don't think that's what Junior want.
- 28:55Speaker 1: All right, thank you faster. I've looked into that several times.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment and
- 29:02Speaker 1: national news right after this you're listening to show. So Steve,
- 29:10Speaker 1: this is exciting news. You are now worldwide. Come on
- 29:14Speaker 1: say it with me, Tommy why with the debut of
- 29:22Speaker 1: Family Feud Africa. Congratulations Steve, We've all been waiting for this.
- 29:27Speaker 1: It's awesome, tell us about it. So listen, man, I
- 29:31Speaker 1: want everybody while you're down and you go. You're gonna
- 29:34Speaker 1: love this. Just go to YouTube and type in Family
- 29:38Speaker 1: Feud Africa. That's all you gotta do. Hilarious. Your boy
- 29:46Speaker 1: is on the continent of Africa learning the culture while
- 29:50Speaker 1: playing again the answers I'm getting. I have no idea
- 29:55Speaker 1: what these people getting these answers from. And they be
- 29:57Speaker 1: on the board because what we did was we uniquely
- 30:01Speaker 1: designed some of the questions for the culture of South Africa,
- 30:05Speaker 1: for the culture of Ghana. So some of these questions
- 30:08Speaker 1: are uniquely We didn't take all the questions from over here,
- 30:10Speaker 1: just take them over there and ask them no, like
- 30:12Speaker 1: we have food questions and animal questions and like some
- 30:17Speaker 1: of the most unexpected stuff these people are saying, because
- 30:20Speaker 1: who do I know, Like, you know, name your favorite food? Pop? Pop?
- 30:25Speaker 1: And now, when I was growing up, pop was soda. Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 1: So I was in Africa one time at a restaurant
- 30:33Speaker 1: and they said what would would you like anything else?
- 30:35Speaker 1: And I was just messing around. I said, yeah, y'all
- 30:37Speaker 1: got pop? He said, She said yeah, And I wasn't thinking.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I just say okay, um died coke and she had
- 30:45Speaker 1: walked off. She came back with this bowl or hot,
- 30:49Speaker 1: just hot and steamy. I said, man, what is that?
- 30:53Speaker 1: She said, that is pop. I didn't know damn pop.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I asked, what, damn pop? Why would I why I
- 30:59Speaker 1: try to drink? This is how they ask man. That
- 31:03Speaker 1: So all we're doing on the show is learning about
- 31:06Speaker 1: It's a lot of misunderstandish man, very very funny clips
- 31:09Speaker 1: on YouTube. But what was learning about the African culture
- 31:13Speaker 1: and pop is like it's almost like a grid, almost
- 31:16Speaker 1: almost like grips. It's so much man like how to
- 31:21Speaker 1: make certain of the top dog. Oh bro, it's it's
- 31:24Speaker 1: so much that's different, man. But these people are so smart,
- 31:30Speaker 1: they're so gifted. Man, they just they just us. Did
- 31:35Speaker 1: they know the game over there? Oh? Man? Oh they
- 31:37Speaker 1: know the game? They know the game? So let me
- 31:41Speaker 1: ask we were going to be? Yeah? Now for real?
- 31:49Speaker 1: You did? I just said, I think what happen is
- 31:55Speaker 1: go ahead. I'm sorry. I was saying they are who
- 31:58Speaker 1: we were going to be. We would have been uh huh?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Or would have been you who we should have been?
- 32:04Speaker 1: H Yeah? I mean, man, I think the show is
- 32:07Speaker 1: going to bridge a lot of gaps over there because
- 32:11Speaker 1: I think it's gonna show us in a different light.
- 32:14Speaker 1: South Africa is such a diverse country. Ghana is Ghana, man,
- 32:18Speaker 1: And it's funny and it's just it's great show man.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's it's really good. My wardrobe is a little bit
- 32:25Speaker 1: different in that I can dress a little more flyer.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Really yeah, I'm putting my combinations as a little more flyer.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And we I went, I'm in Ghana. I'm wearing calf
- 32:39Speaker 1: tans by a designer name calf Tans. I mean a designer.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You're wearing calf tans by a designer named calf Tans. Really,
- 32:51Speaker 1: I'm just it takes Shirley to jacket up. Look on
- 32:57Speaker 1: your face. He said his name chocolate. Oh I like chocolate. Yea. Look, okay,
- 33:14Speaker 1: thank you very much everybody, and good morning to oh
- 33:17Speaker 1: you beautiful chocolate people out there. Okay, here we go.
- 33:20Speaker 1: The Congress is skelleded to reconvene today, and House Speaker
- 33:22Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell reportedly turned
- 33:26Speaker 1: down a White House offer for coronavirus test and a
- 33:29Speaker 1: rare joint statement. Believe or not, Pelosi and McConnell agree,
- 33:33Speaker 1: they said that they'd rather the COVID nineteen tests be
- 33:35Speaker 1: given to frontline facilities instead. White House Press Secretary Kaylee
- 33:39Speaker 1: McKinney says that the Trump administration just wanted to make
- 33:42Speaker 1: sure that they made the provisions for it if they
- 33:44Speaker 1: wanted it. That's their decision to make um. You know,
- 33:47Speaker 1: the moment we heard about even the inquiry of having
- 33:50Speaker 1: tests for Congress, we acted and ensured that we would
- 33:53Speaker 1: provide those tests if needed and wanted. And you know,
- 33:56Speaker 1: it's the decision of Leader McConnell and Speaker Pelosi to
- 33:58Speaker 1: decline that offer declined they did. The Congress has been
- 34:01Speaker 1: out for a month because of the pandemic. The Food
- 34:04Speaker 1: and Drug Administration has issued an emergency use authorization for
- 34:07Speaker 1: the anti viral drug ram desifere I told you about
- 34:10Speaker 1: that last week to treat the very very sick as
- 34:13Speaker 1: COVID nineteen patients. The drug is actually being distributed in
- 34:17Speaker 1: the United States this week's out of FLAWDA, actually being
- 34:21Speaker 1: distributed all over. In international test trials, ram desipere was
- 34:24Speaker 1: shown to shorten necessary treatment time and even leave the
- 34:27Speaker 1: stricken less likely to die. However, it's important to remember
- 34:31Speaker 1: that ram desifere is a treatment drug. It's not a vaccine.
- 34:34Speaker 1: A vaccine keeps a person from getting the virus in
- 34:36Speaker 1: the first place. Scientists are still working on that one
- 34:40Speaker 1: a former Senate staffer who alleges that Joe Biden sexually
- 34:43Speaker 1: assaulted her twenty seven years ago, says she filed only
- 34:47Speaker 1: a limited report with the Congressional Budget Office at the time,
- 34:50Speaker 1: it did not explicitly accuse the former Vice president of
- 34:53Speaker 1: either sexual assault or harassment. According to the Associated Press,
- 34:56Speaker 1: tower Read described her issues with Biden, but said, quote
- 35:00Speaker 1: the main word I used, and I know I didn't
- 35:02Speaker 1: use sexual harassment. I used uncomfortable. Joe Biden's flatly denied
- 35:06Speaker 1: sexually harassing anyone. He's asked he Senate and the National
- 35:09Speaker 1: Archives to see if any sexual complaint was filed by
- 35:12Speaker 1: Tara Read against him. President Trump says a matter should
- 35:14Speaker 1: be investigated, but could be false accusations. I know all
- 35:18Speaker 1: about false accusations. I've been falsely charged numerous times. And
- 35:22Speaker 1: there is such a thing. If you look at Brett
- 35:25Speaker 1: kavan Or, there's an outstanding man, he was falsely charged.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Three of the four women have now admitted that, and
- 35:33Speaker 1: of the fourth, give me a break, I mean, take
- 35:36Speaker 1: a look. Oh well, However, if you are someone you
- 35:39Speaker 1: know has experienced sexual assault, that person can call the
- 35:42Speaker 1: National Sexual Assault Hotline one eight hundred and six five
- 35:46Speaker 1: six hope or four six seven three Recommandant General David
- 35:50Speaker 1: Berger banning all Confederate symbols from all bases around the world.
- 35:54Speaker 1: And finally, today's a big day for Star Wars fans.
- 35:56Speaker 1: So may the Fourth be with you. Now back to
- 36:01Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steven Show.

- 36:36Speaker 1: Like say, you standing with somebody, you notice all of
- 36:39Speaker 1: a sudden, don't nobody in this house wash their hands
- 36:42Speaker 1: for nothing? They nobody and you can get back to
- 36:50Speaker 1: my place. You also notice that when you live with
- 36:53Speaker 1: somebody that you not normally stand with, they leave dirty
- 36:57Speaker 1: dishes out all the damn they'll rinch one out to
- 37:01Speaker 1: use one, but they don't give it, don't. I don't thing.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You gotta adjust to when you stay when somebody is you.
- 37:09Speaker 1: If you're older, president, you go to bed at a

- 38:03Speaker 1: because I like gospel. Yeah, that's what we're watching in
- 38:07Speaker 1: him gospel all day love. These are things you have
- 38:12Speaker 1: to adjust do if you're living with somebody. They don't
- 38:15Speaker 1: believe in cutting off lights. All the lights is on
- 38:19Speaker 1: all Why aren't I to sleep? And this one's very important,
- 38:26Speaker 1: this one very important. Don't nobody know what happened to
- 38:29Speaker 1: your twenty dollars or your phone charger? Don't know? I
- 38:38Speaker 1: know why? Why ain't starting them cars? Like that I'm
- 38:47Speaker 1: just hitting the driveway, just running an runs that if
- 38:53Speaker 1: you put anything in the refrigerator, it's gone. School, ain't
- 38:58Speaker 1: all the muffle coming up? At thirty four minutes after

- 39:30Speaker 1: But luckily I got a track scholarship to a local
- 39:35Speaker 1: college and I never looked back. I've been with my
- 39:37Speaker 1: girlfriend for six years and she still lives in the hood,
- 39:41Speaker 1: and she still considers herself a gangster and most of
- 39:45Speaker 1: her family is in a gang I am past that lifestyle,
- 39:48Speaker 1: and I wish she was too. But I want to
- 39:50Speaker 1: marry her. I love her, but I don't want her

- 41:45Speaker 1: What are you gonna tell it? See, don't you have

- 41:52Speaker 1: don't see it. Yeah it can, It can happen in
- 41:54Speaker 1: the twenties. But you're sitting up in there talking about

- 44:48Speaker 1: their their their bodies, health wise, people life ensuring you
- 44:53Speaker 1: do all of that. But you know, sometimes you got
- 44:59Speaker 1: to ensure your stre ripples if you own a strip club.

- 53:42Speaker 1: It is, Thank you, nephew. Subject she's been a cheater
- 53:47Speaker 1: since high school. Wait till you hear this one, Dear
- 53:50Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I'm in love with a woman that has
- 53:53Speaker 1: carried herself like a garden tool all of her life.
- 53:56Speaker 1: In other words, she's been loose since high school when
- 54:00Speaker 1: we started dating. I dated her into my early twenties,
- 54:04Speaker 1: and after we broke up, I found out that she
- 54:07Speaker 1: cheated multiple times. Here we are fifteen years later, and
- 54:11Speaker 1: she's married now, and she's cheating on her husband with me.
- 54:15Speaker 1: I have a connection with this woman, and I can
- 54:19Speaker 1: finally admit, after years of fighting it, I am in
- 54:23Speaker 1: love with her. I don't know how to shake her
- 54:26Speaker 1: if she stays away from me for too long. I
- 54:28Speaker 1: want our. I watch her sex videos just so I
- 54:31Speaker 1: can see her. It's not like her to turn her
- 54:34Speaker 1: phone off. She always has it on, and she has
- 54:37Speaker 1: even texted her husband back or took his call while
- 54:41Speaker 1: we were making love. So now that she is stuck
- 54:44Speaker 1: at home with her husband, I really miss her, and
- 54:47Speaker 1: I realize that I want to be with her. We've
- 54:50Speaker 1: always talked about being together one day, and she wants
- 54:53Speaker 1: a divorce, but I haven't pushed it because of her
- 54:57Speaker 1: garden tool tendencies, and I'm afraid she may not be
- 55:01Speaker 1: a good wife. All of our old friends know our history,
- 55:06Speaker 1: and they say I'm a fool for still dealing with her.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I'm the only man in her life besides her husband now,
- 55:15Speaker 1: so I try to defend her when the Fellas tease me.
- 55:19Speaker 1: She says we would be inseparable, but we need a
- 55:23Speaker 1: fresh start in a new city. She says, I'm her
- 55:26Speaker 1: one true love, and I feel the same way, Stephen Shirley.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Should I trust her? As men, some of us act
- 55:34Speaker 1: like dogs and our garden toolish and it's never held
- 55:38Speaker 1: against us by the women that love us. Deep down,
- 55:42Speaker 1: I know she's a really good woman. I just want
- 55:45Speaker 1: to know if I'd be making a big mistake. Should
- 55:48Speaker 1: I just let this go? Yes, you would be making
- 55:51Speaker 1: a big mistake. Yes, she's making love to you but
- 55:54Speaker 1: taking calls from her husband, and she would be doing
- 55:58Speaker 1: the same thing with you. I mean, you know what
- 55:59Speaker 1: they say, you cannot turn a garden tool into a housewife.
- 56:03Speaker 1: They say it all the time, So so please you.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You got to stop being just a fool in love
- 56:08Speaker 1: at this point. And that's not to say that people
- 56:12Speaker 1: can't change, because people can change. Just not her, Just
- 56:16Speaker 1: not her. She's not the one that can change. I
- 56:20Speaker 1: don't think so. I don't believe she really wants to change.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I believe she's just telling you that because that's what
- 56:26Speaker 1: she's got to tell you. She's in the house with
- 56:28Speaker 1: her husband. What else is she gonna say to you.
- 56:31Speaker 1: I mean, she said she wants a divorce. She's got
- 56:33Speaker 1: to say something to keep to string you along. But
- 56:36Speaker 1: even just say you know that you guys did get together,
- 56:41Speaker 1: how would you trust her? Why would you trust her?
- 56:45Speaker 1: You've you've seen what she's capable of. I just don't
- 56:48Speaker 1: get it. I mean, she's cheated on you before, she's
- 56:51Speaker 1: cheating on her husband with you. She's just a cheater.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I mean, and you guys know it, the friends know it.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Everybody knows that she's a cheater. And I think he'd
- 57:02Speaker 1: be making a big mistake if you decide, you know,
- 57:06Speaker 1: to try and make a life with this woman. I
- 57:07Speaker 1: don't think she's a woman for you. Steve Man, the
- 57:14Speaker 1: subject alone, she's been a cheatah since high school. Kill
- 57:19Speaker 1: you had to stay away, Doug behind, Oh, she's a kid.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Just looked like he was going She's been a Cheatah,
- 57:35Speaker 1: since high school. That right there. Now, I'm in love
- 57:39Speaker 1: with a woman that carried herself like a garden to
- 57:41Speaker 1: her whole life. What how? How? What? I don't even
- 57:47Speaker 1: understand that line right there, right then, she's been loose
- 57:52Speaker 1: since high school, since high school, that you can't really
- 57:57Speaker 1: get loose fold that right, that's a great point. I
- 58:06Speaker 1: mean the moment she went somewhere, she performed as a
- 58:11Speaker 1: loose person and has continued it. Uh. We started dating,
- 58:18Speaker 1: and I dated her intimor early twenties. After we broke up,
- 58:22Speaker 1: you found out she had cheated multiple times. Here we
- 58:25Speaker 1: are fifteen years later. She's married now, and she's cheating
- 58:29Speaker 1: on her husband with me. Cy okay, dog, okay, so
- 58:36Speaker 1: right right here the letter shit stopped. But you got more.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I have a connection with this woman, and I can
- 58:42Speaker 1: finally admitted, after years of fighting it, I'm in love
- 58:46Speaker 1: with her. I don't know how to shake her. Dog.
- 58:49Speaker 1: This is simple. You whipped. You is what we call whipped.
- 58:56Speaker 1: She got your nose open like the Holland Tunnel for
- 59:00Speaker 1: freight train activity brains right when I can't reach it,
- 59:05Speaker 1: bothers me if she stays away from me too long.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I watch our sex videos just so I could see her.
- 59:13Speaker 1: It's not like her to turn her phone off. She
- 59:15Speaker 1: even has it on, and she's even text her husband
- 59:19Speaker 1: back or took his cause while we was making love.
- 59:22Speaker 1: This is why I got a problem with the whole
- 59:23Speaker 1: damn love right right now, when Steve Harvey is in
- 59:27Speaker 1: here making love. You can't answer phones. I don't care,
- 59:31Speaker 1: damn show, can't text. You might can grab that phone,
- 59:34Speaker 1: but somebody to think you need help. But what you
- 59:37Speaker 1: with but your shoulder? Hell ain't gonna be doing a texting.
- 59:40Speaker 1: But well, how would they answer, though, Steve, this has
- 59:43Speaker 1: been if they answer the phone, I'm it? Yeah right,
- 59:51Speaker 1: holy right there, Wait, wait minute, Wait a minute. Part
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three Today's
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. She's been a cheater since high school. Part
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up right after this. You're
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: listening show, all right, Steve, Come on, Let's recap today's
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. She's been a cheater since high school. This
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: dude and fell in love with this crazyage girl Chill
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Garden two. They dated in high school up until the twenties,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: broke up. Find out that she had cheated on him
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: several times. Fifteen years later, she now married, and she
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: cheating on her husband with me. I got a connection
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: with the woman after you. I can't fight it. I'm
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: in love with I don't know how to shake her well.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I found that that's causey whoop, I can't reach it
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: balls me if she stays away from me too long.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I watch our sex videos so I could see her.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: It's not like her to turn her phone off. She
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: always got it on. She even texts her husband back
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: or took his calls while we was making love. I
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: shut that now, but that's not what we're doing up
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: in him. You're not texting on the phone. Not you
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: picked phone up, but your damn train. Go and get
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: your finger on the right number. I can tell you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: that right now. I'm somethings gonna be happening and talking
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: ain't really that good. Hello, that's what I want to
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: hear happening that phone. So you're not asking the phone
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: while we're making love. So now that she's stuck at
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: home with her husband, I really miss her, and I
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: realized that I want to be with her. We've always
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: talked about being together one day, and she wants a divorce.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Now is it really she wanted divorce? Or do he
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: want a divorce? They just can't gonna win and get
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: one right now? But I ain't push it because of
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: her holish tendencies. And I'm afraid she may not be
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: a good wife. What when when you start thinking that
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: though she may not be a good wife, she ain't one.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Now hear she wasn't a good high school student. She
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: wasn't good first of all, she wasn't a good high
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: school school because you said she'd been loose's high school,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: which is when you can first begin your loose activities.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: So she been loose in high school. She wasn't a
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: good high school student. She wasn't a good high school girlfriend.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Didn't you ask data her tiu was twenty found out
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: she wasn't a good college student because she couldn't stay
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: in college long because she was somewhere acting howish. And
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: then you found out that she had several relationships after
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: y'all broke up. And now fifteen years later she married
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: now and guessed what she right back to her old
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: damn tricks, which ain't old tricks, they're just her tricks.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: She cheating on her husband with you, you stupid. You
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: can't shake her because you will. You're watching sex videos
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: and all this hill now not because of her howish tendencies.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I'm afraid she may not be a good wife. She
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: ain't a good wife. She ain't been good at nothing,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: self acting howish she's great at that. You ain't wrote
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: in this letter where she worked. She ain't got no job.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: She ain't developed one damn skill set outside of holishness.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: And now holishness it is now. Holishness is not good
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: for women, just the old Dale said the holishness is
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: not good for women's is it is not so now?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: All our friends know our history, and they say I'm
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: a fool for still dealing with her. I'm the only
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: man in her life besides her husband. Now that's probably
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: not true. I don't know how you came to that conclusion.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Thought maybe you wrote that in a letter to feel good.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: But you just said something that I find hard to believe.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: You're right, I'm the only man in her life besides
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: her husband. Now, I bet you a so I try
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to defend her when it felt has tease me dog
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: half two fellas just teasing you have been with her.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: That's why I watched this line right here. She said
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: we would be She said, we would be in superable,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: but we need a fresh start in a new city.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: That's called she just slept with the city, y'all. In
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: city somebody owned no hulk. That's why she said we
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: need a fresh start in a new city, because she
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: just slept with the city. She said with the city.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: The city, they got a move. Bus drivers chatting people
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: that dropped off Bill down at the ball when she
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: said at the end at hill now he bringed bier
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: by the house. She's sleeping with grocery dope clerk and
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: the manager the grocery stove. She'd have met the mayor
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: down that social service department. She sleep with him to
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: her check. Ain't never late. She's sleeping with the people
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: at the clean anybody to cleanand yeah, she adin't even
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: got to do that. No more poster comments on Today's

- 1:06:27Speaker 1: coming up at forty six minutes after the hour. Joe
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Biden's sexual assault allegations Will voters care? We'll find out
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Tom Perez, is
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: dismissing the launch on investigation into a former Senate staffer.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Her name is Tera Read. She's made allegations that Joe
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Biden assaulted her twenty seven years ago. Perez said, Joe
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Biden has been vetted and had already undergone a comprehensive
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: investigation years ago when former President Barack Obama picked him
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: for his running mate. Remember that back in two thousand
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and eight. Hello. Other political experts point out that one
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: President trumpet sexual allegations against him, he still won the election. People,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: he still won. Voters are worried about the pandemic and
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: economic crisis right now, as far as Joe Biden's running
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: mate is concerned. A new CBS News poll revealed that
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: voters top choices are in this order. Elizabeth Warren, who
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: do you think is number two? Steve Hey, No Abrams,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: not the other girl, Kamala's number two? Who's number three?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Thinks to Amy? No? No Stacy right, Jay Stacy. Stacy
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Abrams is third, and then Amy Klobuchar. So he'll reain't
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: in there at all. I didn't see her name in
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: the top. Yeah, she just endorsed him last week. I
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: don't I don't know. I don't know about them. I
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, I don't know which orders should
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: be in. Elizabeth Warren kind of scares me a little bit. Yeah,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: kind of scares me a little bit. Why because of
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: her left of center that old tax scheme she got
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: it absolutely ludicrous. Man, you can't do that. But I'll
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: tell you what, though she had a lot of followers,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I don't now this, this Joe Biden sex scandal. Men
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: and men can't get away with this. I understand that.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: So that's not the statement that I'm making. What I'm
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: talking about in this political climate. Yeah, with what Trump
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: got elected with. You can make mention of what Joe
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Biden done, and you can make dude settlements whatever you
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: want to do, but that should not stop him from
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: being president of the United States because this dude Trump
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: has a long list of women who can came out
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: and y'all squashed that and let it go. He'd have
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: made statements about women body parts, y'all let that go.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: He didn't have the playboy Bunny touring his house that
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: his wife lived in, that y'all let that go. And
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: he hadn't paid a pawn stop off and a lawyer
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: is in prison, right, that's right directly to him. Beheads
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: because of Donald Trump, excuse me, many political climbing his
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: change and Democrats need to quit playing stupid true all right.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hours, shoppers stand
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: in line at the Atlanta Mall, the Greenbrier Mall. We'll
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. They want the new Jordans.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Why is they at the mall? You're listening, all right,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: guys and trending lifestyle news. Shoppers were bought it real
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: close together in lines that were wrapped around the building
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: at Atlanta's Greenbrier Mall, hoping to buy the new Jordan
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: five fire red sneakers. They wanted to buy them in
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: person because the sneakers were sold out on line. Okay.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Atlanta shoppers were able to go out to the mall
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: because the recent stay at home orders, of course, were
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: lifted by Georgia's Governor Brian Kemp. And we should note
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: that Atlanta's mayor, we love her, Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: was very much opposed to reopening the states so soon.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: The shoppers violated the six feet distancing from each other
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: while standing in line wanting to buy the Jordans the
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: retro style Jordan five sneakers or two hundred dollars two
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: hundred dollars for adults, they're one hundred and forty dollars
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: for kids originally respect two hundred dollars for a case
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: of COVID Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah exactly, you're exactly right,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: and d one hundred and forty dollars for the kids.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Originally released. These shoes were released back in nineteen ninety.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: They're fire red sneakers. They were worn by Michael Jordan,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and Nike decided to release the sneakers online back in
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: mid April. They wanted to coincide with ESPN's um documentary
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Uncle Steve, let me ask this, Yes, if you are
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, do you have any control to say, Hey,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I don't want my sneakers being released at a time
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: like this is too much going on, it's too detrimental
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: to the people. Let's wait and do this later. Do
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you have any control over that? Or does Nike? Well,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I mean, Jordan is big with the Jordan brand. He's huge,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: He's a billionaire because of this brand, So of course
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: he has say so. But let me tell you something.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: First of all, releasing it to coincide with this thing,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: it's a brilliant marketing strategy. No one knew when they
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: talked about doing the documentary at this time. They did
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: it at this time since more eyeballs would be on
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the TV. So they released it and they were doing
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it online and they were just gonna sell out online. Well,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: they sold out online. They didn't know Georgia, what's gonna open.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: So this Saint Jordan's fault, you know what I mean.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Georgiana don't know that this state gonna open. And they
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: were selling them online and then they ran out the
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: first time when they released it back in mid April.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Then they bought them back recently and sold out again online.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: So now these people lining up to go to the
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: mall to get these Jordan's in person, that's their decisions.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: And black say this, this is a mall that mostly
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: black people frequent. It is you know that? Yeah, that's
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: not Lennox, it's not Fipps in Atlanta, it's not any
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: of those balls. It's a Greenbrier. But the shoes, where
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: the hell you going? I don't know where you're going
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: with Jake. They're gonna put them shoes on, go get
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: their nailed done, all right. The shoe is not effective
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: if you're still coughing. Yeah, it's not affect. Shoes don't
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: look good at these like them shoes. Dog, you dog,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: you gotta put your jeans in that plastic bag to
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: get at the hospital. We gotta get ned. You gotta
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: put all your stuff in that plastic bag. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: it's kind of it's kind of sad, man the way
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: this working well To answer question though, Tommy, No, I
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: don't think Jordan had anything to do with this, and
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: that's not a thing. Okay, I'm enjoying to my mama,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: go ahead on why is he so crazy that? You know? Man?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I mean, like, hey, I'm enjoying this last dance. It's
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: good because I've known a lot of the players over
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: the years, and then some of the stuff I didn't know.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: But I'm very aware. You know, Isaiah's getting a really
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: bad rap in this thing is. But I say, Thomas, man,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: it's a great dude. Man. All right, coming up more
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: of today's trending stories on the Steve Every Morning Show,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and we'll get back into the Jordan talk, the last
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Dance talk right after this twenty minutes after you're listening show.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: All right, Uh, before we went to break, tell me
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: you had one more question you wanted to ask your uncle. Yeah,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you know, I'm talking about Jordan and Isaiah and that
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: whole beef. But what I'm reading, because I've been reading
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: up on it and I've been watching it. It's a
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: great documentary. But what they're saying, it seems like that
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: this has been Taylor made for Jordan, where there's no
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: it doesn't wrong, he did no wrong. And the biggest
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: thing is is that that uh he keeps a grudge forever.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Not that holds up the biggest grudge keeper. I can't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: be mad about that one now, because when you do
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: something to me, I don't forget it, but throw it.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: What if you throw a rocket me, I ain't gonna
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: be get you. Yes, yes, King Jay, and I ain't
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: gonna lie and say I ain't. They are saying that
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: mister Jordan has not forgotten and he will never forget,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and he thinks Isaiah is a butthole from his own out.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I think it's been some are and and we'll continue
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: this right after this. But I think has been some
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: moments in sports where it should have been let go
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: up and it hasn't. And she should have been on
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: a dream team for sure for the Olympics. Yeah, but
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Isaiah and David Thorne and everybody says Jordan had nothing
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: to do with him not being on that, But I
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: think that one sportsman like gesture hurt him when they selected.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll keep the conversation going when we come back.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: At thirty three minutes after right after this, you're listening,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: all right, here we are, We're back. We were discussing
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: the last dance. Uh. And Tommy, who never lets anything
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: go and who holds a grudge forever, was wondering if
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Michael Jordan is holding a grudge or was holding a grudge? Yea.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I think Thomas back in the day, I think he is.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: And let me say this, man, Isaiah Thomas one of
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: the great guards in the history of this league. And
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I think that that that whole series, that bad boy
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: thing kind of hurt him because they thought they were
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: playing a brand of basketball wasn't good for the game.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: But that was a game back then. It was very
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: very physical game back then. That's why I'm telling people
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: stopped talking to me about who the greatest basketball player
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: was because it was Michael Jordan, because he played in
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: an era where for him to survive he had to
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: be But if you look at his game, man, how
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: many times Mike went into the lane and pulled up
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: at ten feet, twelve feet, fifteen feet You don't even
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: see that no more, just just a jump shot. But
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: not not only that, on going to the lane and
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: getting filed the way he used to get filed. It
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: was a different game. So now it has he held
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: a grudge a little bit long? Yeah, I think so,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I think, I think, and even I think this conversation.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Jordan is the apex of the game. You might as
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: well let his knee up off his neck, you know.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: But now Isaille admits now, of course that it was
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: a mistake. But at the time Boston did it to them. Yeah, yes,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Boston did it to them the year before when they won,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: they walked off the court. Boston did it to the Piston,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: to the so they did it to Mike will which
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: was bad. You know who started it, Lamb Beer started it.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: He was the one who said we ain't shaking the hands,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: We're not shaking, and he spreaded the word and then
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: and they just ran with it. But you know, but
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: but you know, they took the bad boy image award
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: where they're a great team. Absolutely, would they pound the
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: majority of teams playing today in the ground in the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: ground had but if they had to have the same rules.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: But you could even hand check. Nowadays you can't even
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: hand check. But there are some things, you know, I
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: think that should have gotten let go. I think, oh Webber,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: when he called the time out, they won't let him
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: live that down. No, man, he won't let himself live
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: it down. He won't go and speak with the Fab five.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: None of that. He's been off the time and time
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: again to come and talk about He will not discuss it.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: He distanced himself from the Fab five. He could have
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: been making tons of money, you know, Olive Frasier. They
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: buried the hatchet after a while. Yeah, Hell holy Field
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: talked to Tyson. Ye yes, yes, coming up our last
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: break of the day. It is the last break up
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: the day. You don't need that remark from the one
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey coming up with forty nine minutes
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: after right after you're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show care.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: We are our last break comes of the day. It's
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: been a good day. It is the last break of
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the day. Why do you need why do you need
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to have that space? And then but I can't think
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: it anywhere, No, I can't. But Jay, the timing of
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: it is off because you you say something, you or
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you blow your harmonica and then you then you say
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: it it's late. Let let it go. No, No, we're
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: gonna rehearse this and get no. No, no, we're gonna
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: rehearse this and get it right. Say that, say what
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: it is and let's see if he can get it.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Come on, all right one more time, Jake, Okay, here
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: we are last break of the day. It is the
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: last break of the day. All right, done, It's time
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you got closing remarks for us. Yeah, today I decided
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: to do something completely different. We're gonna be using my
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: clothes and remark music though, because he has to get
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: his own nephew, Tommy today is going to partake his
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: version of closing remarks on us today. Every now and
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: then I step aside and allow people to express themselves.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: And Tommy has a special message for us in closing remarks.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, I may regret this, but think my
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: damn nephew, Tommy h My closing remarks today is don't
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: put off today. You know you don't want to put
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: nothing off today that you think you can do tomorrow.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Tomorrow is not promised. So if you need to cuss
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: somebody out, you need to do it today. Tomorrow is
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: not promised. Get to cussing right now, because guess what
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you can message what if something happening to him and
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you don't get to custom out. That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: You want to cuss somebody out right at the right moment,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: cussom my thin. Let's let's let's let's let's let's talk
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: about Michael Jordan. Let's talk about it. He was completely
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: he felt completely disrespected. Didn't he by by by by,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: by the whole entire Detroit team. He felt disrespected. They
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: did not shake his hand, they did not congratulate him,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: they did not do any of that. Guess what that's
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: when you cuss somebody out, really, yes, you call him
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: a bunch of things. Some great combinations, some of the greatest,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: some of the greatest cussings in the world have changed
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: a lot of things in life. It has And you
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: know what, Michael Jordan didn't do that. He didn't do
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: it at the time, but he's been holding that grudge
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: for a long time. And now Isaiah no that he
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: should have been cussed out so many years ago. It's
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: a lot of cussing that should have happened that didn't happen. Jesus,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: get your cussing out. People. When you see something, when
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you when you're going through some cuss get it off
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: of you right now. Get it off of you. That
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: is sometime things in your life that cussing is a necessity. Definitely.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Hear me when I talk when I when I when
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: I when I when I when when when When I
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: think about the goodness of custom and what it has
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: done for me, I love when I think about nothing
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: about what off cussing has done for me and what
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: did come for me. Cussing has been an extraordinary relief
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: for so many different people. I'm a right, a wrong.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: They are some great cussles out there. Steve Harvey is
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: one of the greatest cussles of all the one of
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: the greatest Okay, Burning Mack one of the greatest cussles
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: of all time. These are kings of cussing. Three. You
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: see what I'm saying. You see, I don't say they
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: are some great cussers out there, But you're not going
