- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all sit looking back to back down, giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like theming bu bu things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve to mother Stey, don't joy. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn very you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn them out. Then turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing, I sure will come morning.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everybody you are listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man.
- 2:13Speaker 1: If y'all only knew, I think I'll tell it to
- 2:16Speaker 1: you this morning. Man started off real crazy. But it's
- 2:21Speaker 1: just those little mishaps where we as people who are
- 2:25Speaker 1: striving to be successful that makes all the difference in
- 2:29Speaker 1: the world. When you have those little minor things that
- 2:33Speaker 1: come up, you can't let the minor things stop you.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You've got to keep pressing forward. Now, Could I have
- 2:40Speaker 1: played the role of where is my car? Where is
- 2:43Speaker 1: my car? Oh? Where is my car? Instead of hustling
- 2:48Speaker 1: and grab a cab? So what am I? Am I
- 2:51Speaker 1: above a cab ride? Now? Or do I have to
- 2:55Speaker 1: look at the bigger picture and say, okay, I could
- 2:57Speaker 1: act like a little spoiled brats some type of star
- 3:01Speaker 1: and go, I don't ride in cabs or where as
- 3:03Speaker 1: my car? And then go to blaming people for not
- 3:05Speaker 1: having a car, or do I make the adjustments because
- 3:08Speaker 1: ain't like I ain't been in a cab before? Now
- 3:10Speaker 1: slow down. Ain't like I ain't never been in a
- 3:13Speaker 1: in a beat up car before? Slow down? Ain't ever
- 3:15Speaker 1: like I ain't never had a carb and roll the
- 3:18Speaker 1: bus before? Slow down. Ain't like I ain't never been
- 3:21Speaker 1: homeless before, and they have nowhere to go? Slow down.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So in those moments right there, always remember where you
- 3:29Speaker 1: come from, but even more importantly, always remember where you're
- 3:33Speaker 1: trying to go, because it's important for me that I
- 3:36Speaker 1: get here as many mornings as I possibly can. It's
- 3:40Speaker 1: important because that's the goal. And so many people allowed
- 3:43Speaker 1: a minded things to stop them on their road to success.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And I'm giving you this example today not to say hey,
- 3:50Speaker 1: look at me, but to say to you, hey, listening
- 3:53Speaker 1: to me. There are going to be a lot of
- 3:55Speaker 1: things that's gonna happen along your way to being successful,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and if you allow the small things to stop, there's
- 4:00Speaker 1: no way you'll make it. You've got to always press
- 4:03Speaker 1: forward and stop looking at the situation for what it
- 4:05Speaker 1: is and look, sometimes you have to take your offer
- 4:08Speaker 1: right now and put your eye in the future. You know,
- 4:11Speaker 1: God has blessed me in so many ways. I mean,
- 4:13Speaker 1: what can I say? You know, I ask God for
- 4:15Speaker 1: this syndicated show. He gives me a syndicated show. Now
- 4:18Speaker 1: I act like I don't want to come to it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Hold on, man, slow down. Did not you ask for this?
- 4:24Speaker 1: Do I not realize that there are certain people, man,
- 4:26Speaker 1: who look forward to this message in the morning. I've
- 4:29Speaker 1: heard it from people. So from the hundreds that I've
- 4:33Speaker 1: heard it for, that could represent thousands for all I know.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So if I think somebody's counting on me, I got
- 4:40Speaker 1: to try to get there and give something. So today
- 4:43Speaker 1: I didn't have any time at all to think about
- 4:45Speaker 1: what I might say. I just walked right in and
- 4:47Speaker 1: the jingle was playing, and so I decided to just
- 4:50Speaker 1: tell you about my day and maybe you can relate
- 4:53Speaker 1: it to something you're going through alone the way, because
- 4:55Speaker 1: no matter who you are, you're going to have some
- 4:58Speaker 1: moments man, where things are going to happen. And like
- 5:01Speaker 1: I always tell my kids, and I just had this
- 5:03Speaker 1: conversation with my little girl. It ain't that things ain't
- 5:06Speaker 1: gonna happen. It's how you handle what happens that matters.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But it don't matter. It's how you handle what happens
- 5:14Speaker 1: that's the determining factor on where you get in life
- 5:17Speaker 1: and how soon you get there and how long you
- 5:19Speaker 1: stay there. That will always be a mishap, something that's
- 5:25Speaker 1: gonna throw you off. That will always be something man
- 5:28Speaker 1: that could deter you. That will be something somewhere man
- 5:32Speaker 1: that will make you doubt it. Now that you know
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's gonna happen, then let's talk about how you handle
- 5:39Speaker 1: what happens, because it's going to happen. So now what
- 5:42Speaker 1: do you do as a person when these moments come
- 5:44Speaker 1: about in your life? How do you handle? Oh? Woe
- 5:47Speaker 1: is me? Oh? I guess it wasn't meant to be. Well.
- 5:52Speaker 1: If the Lord wanted me to have this, I'd have that.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Know how many deal how many times you hear people
- 5:57Speaker 1: say that? You know, man, it really irks men, and
- 6:00Speaker 1: stop using God as your excuse. God ain't no excuse.
- 6:05Speaker 1: God is a reason. He's a reason why the good happens.
- 6:11Speaker 1: He's a reason. He's not an excuse. God don't have
- 6:15Speaker 1: no excuses in none of his scriptures or writings, not
- 6:18Speaker 1: that I but he just don't make excuses. I would
- 6:21Speaker 1: have done this. But you know there's a scripture that
- 6:25Speaker 1: says the poor will all shall always be amongst us.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Why that's got to be you. Yeah, he said the
- 6:31Speaker 1: poor will always be amongst us, because you know, everybody
- 6:34Speaker 1: ain't gonna follow the principles of success. But he also
- 6:37Speaker 1: said he came to give you life and give it
- 6:39Speaker 1: to you more abundantly. He said that too, But oh no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you don't want to hear that because your life kind
- 6:44Speaker 1: of trip it out a little bit. So now what
- 6:46Speaker 1: you do with it? Now you twist it and you
- 6:49Speaker 1: go to that one little scripture that say, well, the
- 6:51Speaker 1: poor shall always be amongst us. Well, that's put in
- 6:55Speaker 1: there because that's a that's suggests in case. See, that's
- 6:58Speaker 1: a just in case y'all don't want to follow the scriptures.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's just in case you don't understand that faith without
- 7:06Speaker 1: works is dead. That's just in case you have not
- 7:09Speaker 1: because you ask not. It's just in case you don't
- 7:13Speaker 1: believe and shall not doubt. He got all that in there,
- 7:15Speaker 1: But in case you don't want to do that. There
- 7:18Speaker 1: is a scripture that tells you who don't happen if
- 7:20Speaker 1: you don't do it, and here it is the poor
- 7:23Speaker 1: shall always be a monster. But then you get that
- 7:25Speaker 1: when they say, well, hell, that's I guess that's the
- 7:28Speaker 1: lord's will, Lord's will, really, really, really really that's amazing.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I just don't believe that about him. I don't believe
- 7:37Speaker 1: that God created your life to be a life of misery.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I think that we make decisions along the way that
- 7:45Speaker 1: cause us to have lives of misery. But I really
- 7:49Speaker 1: really just don't believe that God created you for that.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I've heard Nelson Mandela speak, and you know, you gotta
- 7:59Speaker 1: go wild. All those years in prison, man, what was
- 8:03Speaker 1: it about? When you hear him speak, you understand what
- 8:06Speaker 1: it was about. He said he always knew he would
- 8:10Speaker 1: be free one day. Now, what he said he never
- 8:13Speaker 1: knew was he said he never knew that he would
- 8:16Speaker 1: be the president of that country. Oh my goodness, what
- 8:21Speaker 1: a long way around. But he could have sat there
- 8:25Speaker 1: and got involved in prison activities that wasn't up to
- 8:29Speaker 1: pawing things like that. And they said whenever young inmates
- 8:33Speaker 1: used to come in, he was telling the story one
- 8:35Speaker 1: time of how young inmates used to come into the prison.
- 8:37Speaker 1: They all sit around and talk to him about what
- 8:40Speaker 1: they were doing and how many kids they had in
- 8:42Speaker 1: their lives, and it helped them keep track of the
- 8:44Speaker 1: outside a little bit, and it kept a sense of
- 8:47Speaker 1: time for them, and it reminded them in to talk
- 8:50Speaker 1: about what they left behind, and it kept them going
- 8:52Speaker 1: because something was greater on the other side. Had he
- 8:57Speaker 1: allowed that to stop him, had he allowed the imprisonment,
- 9:01Speaker 1: which is a pretty major deal. Oh, by the way,
- 9:04Speaker 1: then guess what he would have never been to Nelson
- 9:06Speaker 1: Mandela that we know to day, a martyr, a leader,
- 9:09Speaker 1: a great force. People want to go around him. Even
- 9:12Speaker 1: people that imprisoned him could not understand his staunch strength,
- 9:17Speaker 1: his faith, his unwavering commitment. They couldn't understand it. So
- 9:22Speaker 1: things are going to happen in your life, but it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: how you handle what happens doesn't matter. So keep pushing, y'all.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Don't let the little things get in the way, okay,
- 9:30Speaker 1: And if you just sometimes you just don't know. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: got in the cab thinking I wasn't gonna make it,
- 9:35Speaker 1: but at least let's go see, let's try. I made it. Now.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Guess what that gives me? Another piece of information that
- 9:42Speaker 1: I have and all I had to see it again
- 9:44Speaker 1: to date. Guess what I said today? Man, Sometimes when
- 9:47Speaker 1: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, just go
- 9:49Speaker 1: head on anywhere. Now. I could still be back there
- 9:51Speaker 1: at the hotel till I wear my car, but I
- 9:54Speaker 1: got up in here made it. So now what y'all
- 9:56Speaker 1: gonna do with it? Let's go. You're listening Morning show
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, It's about to go down. The Steve
- 10:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show is live in living color this morning.
- 10:12Speaker 1: The reason we say this show is in living color
- 10:15Speaker 1: is because most of us have color in our skin.
- 10:20Speaker 1: That is the case with most people. So we are
- 10:25Speaker 1: now going to stop calling people white because they have
- 10:29Speaker 1: color too. This show is live in living color for
- 10:35Speaker 1: people of all colors. That's the announcement we're making today.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I know it don't make no difference, it ain't gonna
- 10:44Speaker 1: change nothing, but that's the statement I decided to use
- 10:49Speaker 1: to open the show. The Steve Harvey Morning Show Live
- 10:55Speaker 1: in living vivid color. All right? Sure? The strong bid,
- 11:00Speaker 1: Good morning Carla for real and living color? Good morning?

- 11:36Speaker 1: good to you, oh man all the time? Yeah, hey,
- 11:43Speaker 1: well you ought to be a good day to day. Yeah,
- 11:47Speaker 1: feel pretty good? Excited that hill listen, No radio still here?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Can I say something? I want to say something to
- 11:59Speaker 1: all the listeners out there. Okay, radio, to me, it
- 12:04Speaker 1: is the one format that I have why I can
- 12:07Speaker 1: really be my natural self. I mean your natural black
- 12:13Speaker 1: I mean you understand what I'm saying. Yeah, I mean
- 12:18Speaker 1: every my black on my black behind. Yeah. And man,
- 12:32Speaker 1: that's the beauty of it for me. And so you know, look,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I know I gotta other things. I'm always doing that.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I'm just that person though I'm probably not gonna stop
- 12:41Speaker 1: being an active person career wise or any other wise. So,
- 12:45Speaker 1: but radio, man, is just a big intricral part of
- 12:47Speaker 1: my life. Man. I just love sitting here saying some
- 12:50Speaker 1: of the things I think. I can't express my viewpoint
- 12:54Speaker 1: on any of my other show. So radio is it
- 12:56Speaker 1: for me. I just wanted to say that, clear man.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Let y'all know what you really do. Well, that's good, Steven,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and you've always been that way. I mean, you know
- 13:07Speaker 1: you you change radio a lot, creative reality radio. It
- 13:14Speaker 1: was yeah, we have reality TV. He wanted reality radio,
- 13:19Speaker 1: and boy did we get it. You're listening to show.
- 13:26Speaker 1: This is for the ladies. We want to help you
- 13:29Speaker 1: get you to get your man to open up because
- 13:31Speaker 1: you know, they don't like to talk about stuff. They
- 13:33Speaker 1: don't you know, yeah, they don't like to talk about
- 13:36Speaker 1: their feelings and all that, and women, as women, we
- 13:39Speaker 1: love that. So this is how to get your man
- 13:41Speaker 1: to talk about his feelings. And Steve, please see if
- 13:44Speaker 1: you agree with this. Guys, see if you agree with this,
- 13:46Speaker 1: because they're not known to do this. So, ladies, if
- 13:49Speaker 1: you're tired of guessing how your man feels, here as
- 13:51Speaker 1: some pointers for you to get your guy to share.
- 13:54Speaker 1: All right, Steve, let's see if you agree. Be trustworthy.
- 13:57Speaker 1: How about that for a guy to open up? So
- 14:02Speaker 1: we stop right there. I didn't even hardly get him out.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Understand what you're saying. It got your man to open up? What? Okay? Yes, okay,
- 14:11Speaker 1: So if you want your guy to open up and
- 14:13Speaker 1: share his emotions, with you. He's got to be able
- 14:15Speaker 1: to trust you. Okay, he said it. That's what it means, Tommy. Okay,
- 14:21Speaker 1: ask you to be Yeah. You didn't even let me
- 14:23Speaker 1: get it out, Tommy, anything with the word trust. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 1: all right. Treat him as an equal. Okay. So he's
- 14:34Speaker 1: your partner, he's your husband, he's your man. You know,
- 14:37Speaker 1: he's your boo whatever. So don't treat him like a
- 14:40Speaker 1: tread it now, I ain't had it. What do you mean,
- 14:44Speaker 1: you know, treat you like an equal. I'm just saying,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I ain't saying who it was. I'm just saying we
- 14:52Speaker 1: didn't say who. Yeah, you're being treated equal. Now I'm
- 14:55Speaker 1: being treated equal. Now, you know, Okay, I've been. I've been.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I've actually been a slave. I mean, you know, if
- 15:11Speaker 1: that's the game you're playing, was that the game you
- 15:14Speaker 1: were playing or something? You know how people roll roll
- 15:17Speaker 1: rehearsal uh game? He was a slave, Give me my shoes?
- 15:25Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Roll the person? You know
- 15:27Speaker 1: how you role play with your mate? You role play
- 15:29Speaker 1: with when you talk, yeah, talking the whole time. Contact
- 15:35Speaker 1: You've been in such a bad relationship that they'd be
- 15:38Speaker 1: sleep on your arm in the morning, and you have
- 15:42Speaker 1: a decision to make. Do I run the risk of
- 15:45Speaker 1: pulling my arm out and waking her up, or do
- 15:49Speaker 1: I just chew it off? That's your man. I damn, Neil,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I damn that had got it off. But I started
- 16:01Speaker 1: crying because I had been beten into my shoulder. Blood
- 16:05Speaker 1: was everywhere. She woke up with blood around in my mouth?
- 16:09Speaker 1: What are you doing? I was chewing, trying to chew
- 16:12Speaker 1: on so this wouldn't happen, but she heard me whimpering,
- 16:24Speaker 1: how Steve, Why are you crack? Why that blood on
- 16:32Speaker 1: your head trying to eat something which obviously I didn't
- 16:37Speaker 1: do this? Blood everywhere on these sheets. You didn't mess
- 16:40Speaker 1: these sheets? And what are you doing? Sorry? Just trying
- 16:45Speaker 1: to leave your ass sleep. It's what I was trying
- 16:47Speaker 1: to my bad Let me go down to the hospital
- 16:53Speaker 1: and get these eighty five stitches put in my shoulder.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Meat I had. I had most of the meet in
- 17:02Speaker 1: my mouth, so they was able to pack it d
- 17:04Speaker 1: on and restructure my shoulder. Go ahead, all right, You know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: like compliment with him when he does something, well, that's
- 17:12Speaker 1: a good way to get him to open up. Like yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 1: like you know, compliment of the things he does well,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you know, in case he's self conscious or something. You know,
- 17:20Speaker 1: oh honey, I like the way you did this, or
- 17:23Speaker 1: you know whatever. Whatever, that's all you gonna do. That's
- 17:27Speaker 1: what you've heard. That's what who told you to put
- 17:31Speaker 1: that on? Told me one time you got on four
- 17:34Speaker 1: different blacks. Them blacks, right, that's four different blacks you
- 17:38Speaker 1: got on. The pants, gonna go with that jacket, that shirt,
- 17:40Speaker 1: that's four different blacks. Yeah, that's ugly. The T shirts
- 17:46Speaker 1: around where you going? Yeah, yeah, all of a sudden,
- 17:53Speaker 1: you're just gonna put on a clean T shirt. Now
- 17:56Speaker 1: the blue your behavior? All right, you got to pick
- 18:04Speaker 1: the right time. Okay, don't start asking him about his
- 18:07Speaker 1: feelings when he's rushed or when he's distracted or watching
- 18:10Speaker 1: the game and stuff like that. You gotta ease into it.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Ladies right here, so you just gonna sit down. Ain't
- 18:18Speaker 1: gonna talk to me? Oh the game is more important
- 18:22Speaker 1: than me? Yes? Yes, before you go to work, we

- 18:37Speaker 1: say those words? But you're getting said? Here's another one.

- 18:48Speaker 1: it down his throat, you know. Yeah, be gentle, be
- 18:51Speaker 1: non judgmental. You know, you want him to open up.
- 18:53Speaker 1: You don't want him to run away from the conversation.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Did you show it? Don't want to put that down
- 18:57Speaker 1: your throat? Yeah, you don't want to. Don't put you down.

- 21:29Speaker 1: money on you. And what we do is UM We
- 21:32Speaker 1: have a baptismal own wheels, Servey. And what we do
- 21:36Speaker 1: is we go and we um we baptize people at
- 21:40Speaker 1: their home. And Baptismal on wheels has been it's a
- 21:43Speaker 1: new UM company, but we've we've baptized over a thousand people.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Now we have a truck with it which actually has
- 21:50Speaker 1: a baptismal pool on the back of it, and we
- 21:53Speaker 1: actually come to your home and we will baptize you
- 21:56Speaker 1: in your driveway and and make you hold a in
- 22:00Speaker 1: so we've hostess here. Brother water, Brother again, I'm sorry,
- 22:05Speaker 1: I fringwater, freingwater. What you want to come to my
- 22:08Speaker 1: house and give me a baptism in my front yard?
- 22:11Speaker 1: We want to baptize you right there in your drive
- 22:13Speaker 1: where your friends are paid for the services. And my friend,
- 22:16Speaker 1: what friend will pay for me to get baptized? Man,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I've been baptized, are already doc. But from my understanding,
- 22:22Speaker 1: sir that but then that you you've had some some
- 22:25Speaker 1: bumps and bruises and and and they seem to uh
- 22:27Speaker 1: to believe that you need to be Washington coming in.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I mean, that's all good, that's all. That's all. It's
- 22:32Speaker 1: all good. But I mean things are I mean, think
- 22:35Speaker 1: that matter that it made? Man? I mean, I've been baptized,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I go to church. You know, uh, me and the
- 22:40Speaker 1: Lord don't have no problems. I mean, we all have setbacks.
- 22:43Speaker 1: But for you to pull up with your pool in
- 22:45Speaker 1: front of my house to say you've been a baptize me,
- 22:48Speaker 1: that that doesn't make any sense to me. Doc I mean, sir,
- 22:51Speaker 1: sometimes when some people are not able to go to
- 22:54Speaker 1: the House of the Lord and get baptized, you know,
- 22:56Speaker 1: we're making a lot more convenient for you when we can.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Don't need no convenience. I don't need no convenience. What
- 23:03Speaker 1: I need convenience for you asking me to come to
- 23:07Speaker 1: my house on a Tuesday to baptize me in my driveway?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Does that make any sense to you? Brother Water? I mean,
- 23:15Speaker 1: come on, if you really sit back and think about it,
- 23:17Speaker 1: does that make any sense to you? Further Cooper, First
- 23:21Speaker 1: of all, so that that's that's that's that's brother spring water.
- 23:24Speaker 1: But what I'm trying to what I'm trying to see
- 23:26Speaker 1: the water is holy water, spring water. It doesn't make
- 23:30Speaker 1: no difference to me. You can't come to my neighborhood
- 23:33Speaker 1: and baptize me in front of mine home. So what
- 23:37Speaker 1: is all that? This is? This is what your friends
- 23:39Speaker 1: are talking about that don't get this? There? What my
- 23:42Speaker 1: prayers are telling you? Man and anybody which which one
- 23:45Speaker 1: of my friends don't recommend you to come to my
- 23:47Speaker 1: damn out. So I'm I mean, my sin and my
- 23:50Speaker 1: I don't let me that. You don't even make any
- 23:53Speaker 1: sense to me. You understand, I'm not I'm not at
- 23:55Speaker 1: any liberty to tell you who actually is uh the
- 23:59Speaker 1: liberty because of my house that baptized me, But you
- 24:01Speaker 1: can't tell me who the hell I gonna see you?
- 24:04Speaker 1: But you're not there. What may call you don't even
- 24:07Speaker 1: call that that makes it for you? God, Come on,
- 24:09Speaker 1: that doesn't make any no where in the world. I'm
- 24:11Speaker 1: gonna allow you to come and bring your phone in
- 24:13Speaker 1: front of my house and baptize me. Then I'm asking
- 24:16Speaker 1: you ask and you you supposed to be a pastor,
- 24:19Speaker 1: you supposed to get baptized, And I'm asking you, Okay,
- 24:21Speaker 1: what's a friend of mine is sending you to you know,
- 24:23Speaker 1: letting you know I need be done? You'll tell you
- 24:26Speaker 1: on that liberty to all I want to know. Basically,
- 24:29Speaker 1: I've already been paid. I'm coming. I'm baptizing me them
- 24:36Speaker 1: back tied. I'm going to baptize you on Tuesday in
- 24:38Speaker 1: your driveway. Man, I tell you was did you come
- 24:41Speaker 1: to my house in front of my driveway? You better
- 24:44Speaker 1: bring the old congregation, you understand. You better bring the deacons,
- 24:48Speaker 1: the brothers, the sisters, and they have my head. Did
- 24:51Speaker 1: you think how many you got ties of? This is
- 24:53Speaker 1: a problem. This is what your friends are talking about.
- 24:55Speaker 1: This is why you need to be baptized and cleans
- 24:57Speaker 1: it again and washed in the blood of the lamp says,
- 25:00Speaker 1: what's wrong? You need to be flens That's what's wrong
- 25:03Speaker 1: with you, mister Wilton. What's wrong with me? Now? What's
- 25:06Speaker 1: wrong with two? Is clrdly in the middlemun Hobday telling
- 25:08Speaker 1: me I need to be back tip in front of
- 25:10Speaker 1: my house. If I need to be backtime, don't get
- 25:12Speaker 1: some oil water, I go down to the church. I
- 25:14Speaker 1: don't need you come in front of my house making
- 25:16Speaker 1: an old sertas we aren't afraid of some white sheets
- 25:19Speaker 1: talking about town. The backs after me? That for mona
- 25:22Speaker 1: understanding from my understanding, for my understanding, mister Wilson, you've
- 25:26Speaker 1: missed two Sundays already this month, sund this so man,
- 25:30Speaker 1: I can't go anywhere and get the water. I don't
- 25:32Speaker 1: need you coming here because you're telling how I miss

- 28:49Speaker 1: come to title No, no, sure, you mess it up.
- 28:53Speaker 1: The first line of my poems are always to tight.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I got all right once it again. Somebody needs to
- 29:08Speaker 1: tell me something. That's the tyler the poet, not not.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Somebody needs to tell me something because I'm not gonna
- 29:19Speaker 1: let it go. I've already asked one time, but I'm
- 29:24Speaker 1: gonna ask you some more. You may think I'm stupid
- 29:28Speaker 1: and that I shouldn't let it slid, but no one
- 29:31Speaker 1: has come close. Some of y'all ain't even track. Now.

- 30:21Speaker 1: cheered him all that first you said it ain't go nowhere.
- 30:25Speaker 1: But but you're missing the question of the poem. He
- 30:30Speaker 1: finished the poet, He did the whole point. Now, what
- 30:33Speaker 1: y'all told him a damn thing, Yes, somebody telling him.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And I told what I told you was that you

- 31:39Speaker 1: I need to find out some for the end of
- 31:42Speaker 1: this show. Somebody need to tell me something. We'll let
- 31:48Speaker 1: me tell you something. That poem was great. Somebody gonna
- 31:56Speaker 1: be looking for work. Oh god, he's gonna get fired, right, Steve.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Let's get to the news. So bad and gentlemen and true.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Oh okay, thank you very much. This is a trip
- 32:21Speaker 1: with the news. Well, I'll tell you what. The weather's
- 32:24Speaker 1: no joke in Florida. The weather became actually a major
- 32:27Speaker 1: complication this week in the search and recovery operation at
- 32:30Speaker 1: the site of that collapsed building north of Miami Beach.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Four more bodies have been found, bringing the official death
- 32:36Speaker 1: toll now to thirty six. They say of the thirty
- 32:38Speaker 1: six people, twenty nine of them have been identified. Mayor
- 32:42Speaker 1: Dan yellow Levine cavasays the cruise are really up against
- 32:45Speaker 1: it thanks to Tropical Storm ELSA. Through the rain and
- 32:47Speaker 1: through the wind, they have continued searching. They paused only
- 32:52Speaker 1: briefly for lightning, which is legally required for up to
- 32:57Speaker 1: thirty minutes for pauses whenever there's a lightning strike within
- 33:01Speaker 1: two and a half miles of the site. One hundred
- 33:03Speaker 1: and nine people are still missing and unaccounted for. After
- 33:06Speaker 1: the January sixth Capitol Hill riot. You may remember this,
- 33:09Speaker 1: dozens of large companies openly pledged not to financially support
- 33:13Speaker 1: the one hundred and forty seven lawmakers who refuse to
- 33:16Speaker 1: certify Joe Biden's election. However, according to the Associated Press,
- 33:20Speaker 1: many of them have fallen short of that promise. As
- 33:23Speaker 1: you know, Republican lawmakers objected to certifying the vote because
- 33:26Speaker 1: Donald Trump bade these false, cloned claims that he supposedly
- 33:29Speaker 1: won the election for real. And after that, Walmart and Fiser,
- 33:33Speaker 1: and AT and T and General Electric just some of
- 33:36Speaker 1: the companies that said they would no longer donate to
- 33:38Speaker 1: the legislators who oppose a certification. However, AP says they
- 33:42Speaker 1: now have since donated thousands of dollars to the political
- 33:46Speaker 1: action committees or packs that support them. For instance, Walmart
- 33:50Speaker 1: gave thirty thousand dollars to the National Republican Congressional Committee,
- 33:53Speaker 1: which supports GOP members running for House elections, and AP
- 33:56Speaker 1: found that ups lockeed Martin, General Motors, and American Express
- 34:00Speaker 1: of all since doled out the cash to GOP packs.
- 34:04Speaker 1: President Biden says the race to get more Americans vaccinated
- 34:07Speaker 1: is moving closer to close to a critical stage as
- 34:09Speaker 1: a fast moving delta varian coronavirus spreads around the nation.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Health officials say that while two thirds of US adults
- 34:15Speaker 1: are now vaccinated against COVID, the virus has not disappeared
- 34:19Speaker 1: because more infection varied out. There still two hundred Americans
- 34:23Speaker 1: each day die from coronavirus. And finally, the Coolhannah Jones,
- 34:27Speaker 1: the African American woman who want to prelatzer for her
- 34:29Speaker 1: New York Times sixteen nineteen project about the history of
- 34:31Speaker 1: slavery in this country and its lasting impact. She's accepted
- 34:35Speaker 1: a tenured position at the most prominent black university, Howard University,
- 34:40Speaker 1: turning down the position that she wanted initially at her
- 34:43Speaker 1: alma Matta University of North Carolina. They wouldn't give it
- 34:46Speaker 1: to her because a lot of Republicans and other white
- 34:51Speaker 1: historians objected to her work. She said, forget about it. Now,
- 34:54Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 34:57Speaker 1: the String Show, all right, Come on, Steve, introduce your friend.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. That damn Jay Anthony Brown. I think
- 35:08Speaker 1: what we're about to do now will answer a lot
- 35:10Speaker 1: of questions that people have. They have questions. This will
- 35:14Speaker 1: answer those questions that people have. From that questions, I
- 35:19Speaker 1: hit it, David. The song is to answer the question
- 35:24Speaker 1: that everybody's been asking. And we will answer the question
- 35:30Speaker 1: that most people have been asking. Here's the answer. Thank
- 35:35Speaker 1: you very much, Jay Anthony, good morning. Everybody asked the question.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Some folks have asked the question why do we Come'd
- 35:44Speaker 1: like to know why are you come sweet us? Because
- 35:49Speaker 1: it cuts, because it's fed up and we have had enough.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Come on downcause when we will comes at times of happiness,
- 36:00Speaker 1: Because when we said we will cuss at times of sadness.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Some people got it from the mothers and others got
- 36:11Speaker 1: it from the dance. Come on, so you can't use
- 36:16Speaker 1: nice the words in sound. It'll be real rough to
- 36:21Speaker 1: get the words out and takes the place likely shut down.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Could you please shut? And now sometimes you want to
- 36:32Speaker 1: tell church members, could you just please please shut? Just
- 36:37Speaker 1: shut the if boop and now you have Oh, now
- 36:42Speaker 1: you have the answer. Now you had the bees and
- 36:45Speaker 1: why that is the reason why we cuss. Don't tell
- 36:49Speaker 1: me how to run the church. I'm the poust up
- 36:52Speaker 1: in here that's always had them out. Could you just
- 36:55Speaker 1: shut the IF book? You can. Don't try to tell
- 36:59Speaker 1: me what to do. Your mind incur the worst, the
- 37:10Speaker 1: worst higher you ever. It's great, it's great. You're so
- 37:14Speaker 1: happy I'm here, works Jay. So you're gonna use that
- 37:23Speaker 1: song from that? Well? It answers the question the reason
- 37:28Speaker 1: why we cuss is right there. I mean, I wonder
- 37:31Speaker 1: what question you were talking about when question about the
- 37:37Speaker 1: reason why we cuss? Yes, but we do, that's it answers. Yeah,
- 37:42Speaker 1: that's gonna probably end up viral somewhere. That's gonna end
- 37:48Speaker 1: up viral somewhere. Oh yeah, but you know what, the
- 37:52Speaker 1: only thing I went about did somebody else do it
- 37:55Speaker 1: before me? And I'm like, nobody test that that song
- 37:57Speaker 1: is right there? I mean, damn whit that's what you
- 38:01Speaker 1: were worried about, exactly right, somebody doing it before me? Right,
- 38:05Speaker 1: all right, thank you, thank you, jays, thank you you're
- 38:10Speaker 1: listening to all right, Steve, it is time, It is time.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Bring him on in here, the CLO chief Love officer.
- 38:19Speaker 1: We have some questions for him, all right, I love it,
- 38:23Speaker 1: and you don't have to get ready. Right. This one's
- 38:26Speaker 1: from Donna in El Paso, Texas. She says, a year ago,
- 38:30Speaker 1: my husband was deployed and he was told he would
- 38:33Speaker 1: be away for eighteen months. Six months after he left,
- 38:37Speaker 1: I ended up having an affair with his stepbrother, and
- 38:40Speaker 1: I got pregnant from our first encounter his stepbrother and
- 38:44Speaker 1: I never messed around again after that. But he wants
- 38:48Speaker 1: me to have the baby and he will raise it.
- 38:50Speaker 1: My husband just told me he's coming home next month,
- 38:53Speaker 1: earlier than expected. So should I tell him about the
- 38:57Speaker 1: pregnancy now? Or should I wait until he gets home? When? What? What? When?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Do you think this gonna be a good time to tell? Yeah?
- 39:07Speaker 1: I really don't have a suggestion for you. I don't
- 39:10Speaker 1: know how with his brother in law, step brother, she
- 39:18Speaker 1: had an affair with her husband's step brother. Yes, yes, yes,
- 39:22Speaker 1: his stepbrother, and she got pregnant after the first time. Yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 1: and now he didn't told you. He wants you to
- 39:29Speaker 1: have the baby and he gonna raise he'll raise it. Yeah,
- 39:33Speaker 1: I have no comment. I don't know what to tell
- 39:35Speaker 1: I really say, you are. I don't know what to tell. Yo.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Just dude, think get his ass whip soon. Just didn't
- 39:42Speaker 1: get home. That's what's gonna happen. He thinks understand that
- 39:46Speaker 1: that's going to I don't know. I don't know, you know, Uh,
- 39:52Speaker 1: but she's so cavalier about it. Should I tell him now?
- 39:54Speaker 1: Or wait? What his relationship? Yeah, I tell somebody that's
- 40:05Speaker 1: coming home from the that'd be a good day soldier.
- 40:09Speaker 1: He'd been deployed thinking he got a wife at home exactly.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you, but no, you
- 40:15Speaker 1: got you're wrong. I have nothing to tell you. I
- 40:19Speaker 1: don't know when you should tell it. I really don't.
- 40:22Speaker 1: That is no good time. All hell gonna break loose
- 40:24Speaker 1: when the man come home, though, because the stepbrother your
- 40:28Speaker 1: best to believe he gonna have something to deal Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 1: I don't know what you're gonna have to deal with.
- 40:34Speaker 1: You don't have a marriage anymore, so I hope that
- 40:38Speaker 1: fleeing was worth it, and I hope his his stepbrother,
- 40:41Speaker 1: won't you Yeah, he doesn't want to move on. Yeah,
- 40:48Speaker 1: the step brother the father of your baby. This is crazy,
- 40:53Speaker 1: all right, so we'll move on, Steve. This is from
- 40:56Speaker 1: tie and jack Hunt. Would you say Junior these questions?
- 41:00Speaker 1: He will be asked? You keep putting no weight, all right?
- 41:07Speaker 1: This is from Tye and Jacksonville Steve. Tye says, I've
- 41:10Speaker 1: been married for seven years and my wife is my everything.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I work hard so she can stay home every day
- 41:16Speaker 1: and have a good life. Two months ago I saw her.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I saw on her credit card statement that she'd been
- 41:23Speaker 1: running a room at a nearby hotel. She said that
- 41:26Speaker 1: it was a mistake and she would call the hotel
- 41:29Speaker 1: to dispute the charges. I believed her, but then I
- 41:32Speaker 1: got a message on Facebook from a man that said
- 41:35Speaker 1: my wife had been paying him for sex and he
- 41:37Speaker 1: thought I should know. I have not confronted my wife yet,
- 41:41Speaker 1: but I'm trying to find this dude, Steve, how should
- 41:45Speaker 1: I handle this that you can answer this one? I mean, man,
- 41:49Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm trying to find this dude.
- 41:54Speaker 1: First of all, you're not married to the dude. You
- 41:58Speaker 1: and the dude took no vibe. Your whole problem is
- 42:02Speaker 1: your girl. If there is a problem, now, it sounds
- 42:06Speaker 1: quite strange that you would discover this charge. She says
- 42:11Speaker 1: she's gonna call the hotel and dispute it. And then
- 42:13Speaker 1: right after that a guy calls and says that your
- 42:16Speaker 1: wife has been paying him to have sex with her.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That's a big coincident. So now me, I would do
- 42:24Speaker 1: a little me personally, I would do a little forensic
- 42:28Speaker 1: science gathering of information, you know, stuff like that. I
- 42:33Speaker 1: don't know how you do that, but you know, you know,
- 42:36Speaker 1: you could find out if she was really there not.
- 42:39Speaker 1: But your whole problem is with your wife. Your problem
- 42:42Speaker 1: ain't with this dude. But then his motivation for calling
- 42:47Speaker 1: you and telling you that is I think you ought
- 42:49Speaker 1: to know, all right, And none of them what I
- 42:57Speaker 1: wanted to really saying. The nephew is here with today's
- 43:05Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this you're listening show coming
- 43:11Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 43:13Speaker 1: minutes after it's my Strawberry letter for today, the subject
- 43:17Speaker 1: how often should you get a massage? That's a question,
- 43:20Speaker 1: how often should you get a massage? All right, all right,
- 43:24Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 43:27Speaker 1: What you got now? You ain't married? Huh, you ain't married.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I'm just like everyone ain't married. Watch me work running
- 43:40Speaker 1: kat Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah. How
- 43:45Speaker 1: are you doing? Brian? My name is Daniel. Wanted to
- 43:47Speaker 1: give you a call today. You got a minute? Yeah? Okay, listen,
- 43:52Speaker 1: um you're you're Brian? Um Brian? Right? You're married to
- 43:56Speaker 1: uh to Althea Yeah? Hello hello, yeah yeah, that doesn't
- 44:01Speaker 1: mean that's my wife's Yeah, okay, got a question for you.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I dontly have you guys been married? Going on nine
- 44:08Speaker 1: years now? We've been married? Now, who is it? My
- 44:11Speaker 1: name is Daniel. Were you um, were you guys married
- 44:15Speaker 1: a Greater New Missionary Baptist Church Lena See yeah, yeah, yep, yep,
- 44:21Speaker 1: that's the name of that church. Yeah, great by nine years? Yeah,
- 44:24Speaker 1: that's right. Why what's going on? What's asking me all
- 44:27Speaker 1: these questions? Fuck? Okay? Do you remember the minister that
- 44:31Speaker 1: officiated your actual wedding ceremony? Yeah? No, uh reverend right, yeah, okay,
- 44:38Speaker 1: I got the right person. I wanted to make sure
- 44:40Speaker 1: I had the right person, Brian. So, I'm I'm sorry
- 44:43Speaker 1: if it seemed a little weird to you. Here's here's
- 44:46Speaker 1: what's going on. We've just come up with a new discovery,
- 44:50Speaker 1: a lot of information that Reverend none of his credentials
- 44:55Speaker 1: are true. Everything is false. He's not a minister at all.
- 44:59Speaker 1: He never I was a minister, and every single wedding
- 45:04Speaker 1: ceremony that he officiated is basically null and void. So,
- 45:09Speaker 1: and I hate to be the bearer of bad news,
- 45:12Speaker 1: but you and Alphia, even though you think you've been
- 45:15Speaker 1: married for nine years, you guys are not married. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 45:21Speaker 1: you gotta have the wrong person, because man, that then
- 45:23Speaker 1: we got we got married by nine years ago. And
- 45:31Speaker 1: what I'm telling you is he he never was ordained.
- 45:34Speaker 1: He's never been an ordained minister. He's not a minister
- 45:37Speaker 1: at all. So when he performed this ceremony, you're a
- 45:41Speaker 1: wedding ceremony, He had no right to be doing that.
- 45:43Speaker 1: You guys are not are not married. You know, you
- 45:46Speaker 1: guys have been living in sin for nine years. Hold on, hold,
- 45:50Speaker 1: hold on that. Let me tell you something. I ain't
- 45:52Speaker 1: been living a man. My wife we have been married
- 45:54Speaker 1: for nine years and that man he's a preacher. I'm
- 45:57Speaker 1: telling he's a preacher. Preach land friend, Sir, as of today,
- 46:02Speaker 1: he has no right to be in anybody's pulpit. He
- 46:05Speaker 1: has no right to be officiating, whether it's weddings or funerals,
- 46:09Speaker 1: no matter what it is, christenings for children. He's not
- 46:12Speaker 1: allowed to do that. And we have officially stopped him
- 46:15Speaker 1: from doing anything serving under as being a pastor or
- 46:20Speaker 1: a minister. We have stopped at But what I want
- 46:23Speaker 1: you to know is that you have been living in
- 46:25Speaker 1: sin and you don't. We want to try and get
- 46:28Speaker 1: you guys married as soon as possible, so you're not
- 46:31Speaker 1: living in sin. Oh no, doc, I have been living
- 46:34Speaker 1: in those sins. I have been married for nine years.
- 46:37Speaker 1: This womanship been taking care of me and my kids
- 46:40Speaker 1: for the past Wait. Wait, wait a minute, Wait a minute. Guy,
- 46:43Speaker 1: you guys have children. Yeah, yeah, we have two, two kids,
- 46:47Speaker 1: two beautiful kids. Okay, then those kids are bastards, Stafford.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. My kids ain't no baskeard.
- 46:53Speaker 1: What about your kids? Your kids in basketts? No, sir,
- 46:56Speaker 1: my kids, My kids were born in wedlock. Your kids
- 46:58Speaker 1: have been born out I'm telling you that man did
- 47:03Speaker 1: my service, and he is a preacher. He's a man
- 47:06Speaker 1: after God's own heart himself. He hasn't done everything that
- 47:10Speaker 1: he comes for me and my family. He is a preacher.
- 47:13Speaker 1: So I don't. I know it's hard for you to
- 47:16Speaker 1: to to swallow the truth, but I want you to
- 47:18Speaker 1: know and I need you to be able to tell
- 47:20Speaker 1: out feel that you guys are not married and not
- 47:22Speaker 1: as of right now. No, no, okay, Solder, Now, back
- 47:27Speaker 1: in the olden days, but before all these all these
- 47:30Speaker 1: colleges and stuff came came about, you telling me that
- 47:33Speaker 1: them men backing old days, that they weren't no preachers,
- 47:36Speaker 1: that they wasn't meant men after the clough? Is that
- 47:39Speaker 1: what you're saying to me? What are you? What are you?
- 47:41Speaker 1: What are you? What are you getting at? Sir? What
- 47:43Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is back in the older days,
- 47:45Speaker 1: baking the twenties and thirties, they didn't have all these
- 47:48Speaker 1: colleges and all these degrees and stuff like these new
- 47:50Speaker 1: preachers got these days. That man now he was from
- 47:53Speaker 1: back then, and God called them and that's what they
- 47:56Speaker 1: went on too. And all them people that they married
- 47:59Speaker 1: back then, they get the same thing today. You don't
- 48:01Speaker 1: need no the greed to say that that you're a preacher.
- 48:03Speaker 1: You don't need no life to say you're a preacher. Man.
- 48:06Speaker 1: My wife will been married for nine years. My kids
- 48:09Speaker 1: have been born in wedlock. We were married, we were
- 48:12Speaker 1: mad for my friends and family day was all there, sir.
- 48:16Speaker 1: The bottom line is that that you have been living
- 48:19Speaker 1: in sin because you have not been married with your
- 48:21Speaker 1: wife for the last nine years. And your kids, I
- 48:25Speaker 1: hate to say it, your kids are bastards. Now O.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Now I've told you, don't say nothing else about my
- 48:30Speaker 1: kids saying I ain't no cussop, but don't push me.
- 48:33Speaker 1: My kids ain't no bad said. You understand me. You
- 48:36Speaker 1: don't get mad, sir. I'm trying to give you the
- 48:38Speaker 1: truth and try to get you in here and get
- 48:40Speaker 1: you married, or you will not be living in sin
- 48:42Speaker 1: any more than what you are. I'm living in noose sins.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Look now, you don't make me whoop your ASTs. You
- 48:49Speaker 1: understand man, my wife we have been married for nine years.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Don't shoot up here called me talking about the way.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Ain't mad that that man, ain't no preacher, you understand.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I get out of my phone. You that's my life.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Those are my kids. They have been born in red lives.
- 49:04Speaker 1: You understand, sir? So, I just wanted to call and
- 49:08Speaker 1: give you the information so that you could probably stop
- 49:10Speaker 1: living in sin. That's all I wanted to do. I
- 49:12Speaker 1: ain't living nona sin. That's what I just told you.

- 49:21Speaker 1: never that's nine years ago. They get your ass off
- 49:24Speaker 1: my phone. So so I have one more thing, one
- 49:27Speaker 1: more thing I'd like to say. You ain't done nothing
- 49:29Speaker 1: else to say to me. You ain't get your asf
- 49:32Speaker 1: off my dam's phone? Now, do you understand me? I

- 52:16Speaker 1: fifteen years, the best of friends. We were thickest thieves
- 52:20Speaker 1: and nothing could keep us apart. Whenever she got in relationship,
- 52:23Speaker 1: she introduced me as her brother, and I got along
- 52:25Speaker 1: with all of her boyfriends. She started dating her in
- 52:28Speaker 1: a minute. What Whenever she got into relationships, introduced me
- 52:35Speaker 1: as her brother, and I got along with all of
- 52:39Speaker 1: her boyfriends. She did that for whatever reason, Like you know,
- 52:44Speaker 1: they're close, so she's like, this is my brother. It's
- 52:48Speaker 1: not her brother. They're just friends. It's a dude, huh
- 52:52Speaker 1: yes that wrote the letter. Huh yes, I wrote the letter. Oh,
- 52:56Speaker 1: this is a dude that wrote okay, okay, okay, you're
- 53:02Speaker 1: cool now. Whenever she got in relationship, she didn't do
- 53:06Speaker 1: it and I got along with all. Okay, all right.
- 53:10Speaker 1: She started dating her current boyfriend and I didn't approve
- 53:14Speaker 1: of him at first because he had a reputation of
- 53:16Speaker 1: being a liar and a cheater. I played it cool
- 53:19Speaker 1: and supported her through all of the drama and break
- 53:22Speaker 1: the breakups with him. He knows I don't really like him,
- 53:25Speaker 1: so one night he invited me to go to the
- 53:27Speaker 1: strip club with him. I met him at the club
- 53:29Speaker 1: and ended up having a great time. He paid for
- 53:32Speaker 1: all of my drinks and lap dances, and we both
- 53:34Speaker 1: ended up getting really drunk. And since I lived close
- 53:37Speaker 1: to the strip club, he asked if he could stay
- 53:40Speaker 1: on my couch instead of driving all the way home,
- 53:43Speaker 1: so I let him. One thing led to another, and
- 53:47Speaker 1: we ended up naked and rolling around on the floor. Okay, ken, yeah,
- 53:55Speaker 1: what I told you to pay attention? Okay, did I
- 53:59Speaker 1: miss something? The monica miss? Okay? This woman has this man?
- 54:05Speaker 1: Man is writing a letter. Yes, this is written by
- 54:08Speaker 1: man and his friend who was a girl getting relationship
- 54:13Speaker 1: with dudes. She didn't improve it is one dude because
- 54:16Speaker 1: he aling a cheating Okay, now go ahead, because I
- 54:19Speaker 1: missed list. Okay, So so anyway, he wanted to stand
- 54:24Speaker 1: on my couch instead of driving all the way home. Dude, yes,
- 54:28Speaker 1: with over the other dudes? How so we yeah, okay,
- 54:36Speaker 1: come on, so I let him. One thing led to
- 54:40Speaker 1: another and we ended up naked and rolling around on
- 54:44Speaker 1: the floor. Got to worry about what you mean? One
- 54:49Speaker 1: thing led to another, We ended up naked, rolling around.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Can I finish the letter? And then you respond when
- 54:56Speaker 1: you start reading? What a god? Tommy? I thought I
- 55:03Speaker 1: thought these was two girls. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. But
- 55:07Speaker 1: right in the in the what second or third sentence,
- 55:11Speaker 1: she he says whenever she got into relationships, she introduced
- 55:15Speaker 1: me as her brother. Yeah, that's why I was confused. Yeah,
- 55:18Speaker 1: so why would you be introducing this lady as your brothers?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Yeah it's the jew Okay, all right, I felt awful.
- 55:26Speaker 1: The next no start back, okay, okay, we attended, Okay,
- 55:31Speaker 1: I'll start here. We both ended up getting really drunk,
- 55:34Speaker 1: and since I lived close to the strip club. He
- 55:36Speaker 1: asked if he could stay on my couch instead of
- 55:40Speaker 1: driving all the way home, so I let him. One
- 55:44Speaker 1: thing led to another, and we ended up naked and
- 55:48Speaker 1: rolling around on the floor. I never heard that happen
- 55:51Speaker 1: to me. Can I Can I say something? No whole
- 55:53Speaker 1: of Tom, This ain't joke. Yeah, you do pranks. You
- 55:57Speaker 1: can't say nothing else. You're gonna get me in yes, yeah,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and we don't want that. I felt awful the next
- 56:03Speaker 1: day and wanted to tell my best friend everything, but
- 56:07Speaker 1: I waited a week because there was no easy way
- 56:10Speaker 1: to break this news to her. She was furious with me,
- 56:14Speaker 1: not him. She told me that I never should have
- 56:17Speaker 1: been hanging out with her man and going to a
- 56:19Speaker 1: strip club without her knowing it. She accused me of
- 56:23Speaker 1: pursuing him. She knows her man is not my type,
- 56:26Speaker 1: and I explained that when I went out with him
- 56:29Speaker 1: to keep the peace. And I explained that I went
- 56:32Speaker 1: out with him to keep the peace. So now I've
- 56:35Speaker 1: lost my best friend. She's still with this clown, and
- 56:38Speaker 1: I can't get her to see past his lies and manipulation.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I miss my best friend. Please help. You're gonna have
- 56:47Speaker 1: to chalk this one up, because you're not gonna be
- 56:51Speaker 1: able to get that back. You slept with her man.
- 56:54Speaker 1: You slept with her men. You broke the friend code.
- 56:57Speaker 1: You know, Normally here we would say the girlfriend code,
- 57:00Speaker 1: but you brought Since you're a dude, we say you
- 57:02Speaker 1: broke the friend code. Okay. I don't care how drunk
- 57:06Speaker 1: you guys were. I don't care. You crossed the line
- 57:09Speaker 1: and that's why she's mad at you. You were wrong, Okay,
- 57:13Speaker 1: you were wrong forgetting with her guy, and we got
- 57:16Speaker 1: to take a break here. Steve, it is time for
- 57:18Speaker 1: you to give your response, and we'll do that when
- 57:21Speaker 1: we come back to twenty three after the hour. Today's
- 57:24Speaker 1: letter the subject my best friend cannot be okay with this.
- 57:28Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve. The subject of this letter,
- 57:34Speaker 1: my best friend cannot be okay with this. We gotta recount.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Your best friend is not okay with this, and neither
- 57:42Speaker 1: am I. Now Here. I had to pick through this
- 57:45Speaker 1: because I had to learn this woman has, obviously, I'm
- 57:49Speaker 1: assuming without it being said, her best friend is gay,
- 57:54Speaker 1: a gay guy. Okay. We were thickest thieves and nothing
- 57:59Speaker 1: could keep us up part whenever she got into relationships.
- 58:02Speaker 1: She introduced me as her brother, and I got along
- 58:05Speaker 1: with all her boyfriends. She started dating the current boyfriend.
- 58:08Speaker 1: I didn't approve of him at first because he had
- 58:11Speaker 1: a reputation being lying and cheat it. I played it
- 58:13Speaker 1: cool and supported up through all the drama and breakups
- 58:15Speaker 1: with him. He knows I don't really like him, so
- 58:19Speaker 1: one night he invited me to go to strip club
- 58:22Speaker 1: with him. Now they had the strip club. I met
- 58:24Speaker 1: him at the club, end up having a great time.
- 58:27Speaker 1: He paid for all my drinks and lap down. We
- 58:32Speaker 1: both ended up getting really drunk, and since I live
- 58:35Speaker 1: close to the strip club, he asked if he could
- 58:37Speaker 1: stay on my couch instead of driving all the way home.
- 58:41Speaker 1: So I let him hit a sentence that throwed me.
- 58:45Speaker 1: One thing led to another, and we ended up naked
- 58:48Speaker 1: and rolling around on the floor. What thing, yea, what is?
- 58:53Speaker 1: I need to know what that is, so I'll make
- 58:55Speaker 1: sure I don't because if I've been to sell all
- 58:59Speaker 1: this gotcha in my damn. I'm married and you don't
- 59:02Speaker 1: go to strip club, so you're good, and I'm not
- 59:05Speaker 1: sitting up in the floor with another man, and then
- 59:09Speaker 1: makes this statement. One thing led to another. See ain't
- 59:13Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no more damn thing, ain't no damn
- 59:17Speaker 1: things over him? So ain't no one thing led to another? Dog?
- 59:22Speaker 1: This has got to be something you've had in your
- 59:25Speaker 1: head for a long time and has acted on it before,
- 59:30Speaker 1: because ain't no one thing led to another and we
- 59:33Speaker 1: ended up naked and rolling around on the floor. What
- 59:37Speaker 1: listen to me if I got on short sleeve shirt
- 59:40Speaker 1: and I'm sitting next to my partner, he got on
- 59:42Speaker 1: a short sleeve shirt, his arm can't touch. But yeah,
- 59:46Speaker 1: we got that steep. But you're a straight heterosexual man.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I know, I know. I'm just saying, what ain't fenna
- 59:53Speaker 1: happening with me and my partner after we come front
- 59:55Speaker 1: the strip? So now we got up in hill, we're
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: back from the strip club, one thing led to another.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: We ended up nicking and rolling around on the floor.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I felt awful the next day. Really, you think you'd
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: have felt all because he crossed the line with her
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: his best friends? Man, Okay, so I understand that I
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: wanted to tell my best friend everything. See right here,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: see dog, Now let me blame something too. It's rules
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to this game that we are head read on. What
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: you cannot do is go tell it well, because you're
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: gonna hurt the girl. Huh yeah, read on. I felt
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: awful the next day. I wanted to tell my best
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: friend everything, but I waited a week because that was
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: no easy way to break this news to her. She
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: was furious with me, not him. She told me I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: never should have been hanging out with her man and
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: going to a strip club without her knowing it. She
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: accused me of pursuing him. You probably did, though, but
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: he pursued you too. She knows her man is not
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: my type. What what didn't you just say? Y'all was
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: nicking on the floor. They were drunk, but he ain't
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: your type. No partner. Somebody was all right somewhere. So
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: do you think she she knew that her men, so
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: now it's bisexual. I think that she's not a man. Yeah,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I think she's okay with it. First of all, I
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: have no solution to this letter. Just let me say that,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: nor will I attempt, because in all honesty, I don't
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: want to offend anymore, and I don't want to say
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: anything because I don't know the rules of engagement in
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: these types of relationships. So for me to say something
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: with all that's going on in society today. I really
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: don't want to have a comment because I don't know.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: But but Steve, let me just say this though. Wouldn't
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you think it would be the same No, with heterosexuals,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: if your friend slept with your man or your girl
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: in the in this case, if I'm a woman, my
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: girlfriend sleeps with my man, it's the same thing. Basically,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I can't imagine what you say. I can't flip the Yeah,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: if your best friend slept with your wife, with your girl,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: this is what's happening here. Calhom sleeping with this you
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: know how what's happening here? Though? Do you understand what
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: you just see? No, I can't fix that. That's how
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: you have to look at it. No you can, you can't.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: That's how you have to look at it. It's the issue. Yeah,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: that's the issue. And uh no no no, no, no no, no,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: that ain't just the issue. No no, no, no no
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: no no no no. It way motitis. I don't know
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: how you try throw us in it and simplified, but
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: that ain't I would have something to say about that
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: her best friend slept with her man. Her best friend
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: is a man that slept with her man, Now what
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: she didn't had to wrap her mind, Roddy, these two
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: men were sleeping together. Man, she had to know. I'm
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: out of it. All right, guys, we gotta get out
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: of here. You can post your thoughts on Today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey f M. And check out our Strawberry
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand. Okay, you're listening show all right?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Time for a comedy break right here. Junior is here
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: with things I've never seen? What is this, Junior? Yeah,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you know, unc Tommy, there's a lot of things that
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you have never seen in your life. I mean it's
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: some things like I know you old and everybody you
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: probably have, but it's some things I know I ain't
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: never see. Like, for instance, I've never seen a shade
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: treet mechanic with a car that's running in perfect condition.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: You ain't never seen you. He gonna tell me everything
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: wrong with my car, but with his back door missing,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: all is all running out of the car from him
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: and his hat. But he gonna tell me I need
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a new transmitted Well, I've never seen it. I just
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: ain't never seen it. He's another thing I ain't never seen.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I ain't never seen people in the South eat a
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: meal without rice if it's chicken and rice, beans and rice,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Why is rice so every place? Ring? Just rice? You
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: know who I've never met. I've never met this person.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I've never met a well rested African mirror. I've never
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: met one. I ain't never seen it, dog, I ain't
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: never seen it, a well rested African American. Not just
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: like that. How you doing? Man? Oh man? Job getting
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: on my nerves, wife talking crazy to me. Kids won't
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: live man, I'm tired. I'm just tired. You ain't never
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: seen there. I'm never seen a big person eat a
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: meal without a died beverage. I ain't ever seen yeah,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: ham hocks, you know, But then a died coke on
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: the side, As if that's gonna change something. I have
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: never seen it. I hear you, Steve. I don't I know,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't gonna do it. I ain't gonna
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: get no. Look, I've never seen a black funeral. What
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: it is? No clowning going on? Yeah, no, not one.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Not when you ain't up seeing that. Somebody gonna get
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: cussed out in front of the casket every time. He's
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: just things we've never seen. We ain't never seen anything.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I've never seen Christmas, Valentine's Halloween declarations being put up
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: in the drug store. You just show up one day
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and they all hanging who keeps that's true. You ain't
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: never seen who hang this up. We don't know who
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: that is. I ain't never seen a white person still
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: a bike out of black neighborhood. I ain't never seen.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: You ain't gonna never seen because they already am not.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I've been around long time on that. All right, Thank
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you guys. You're listening. People who overdo their job, all right.

- 1:07:00Speaker 1: what you got anybody with a yellow jacket that's say
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: events staff. You don't I know where I'm sitting. It's
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: the same game I was at last week. Yeah, can
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I have some of that? They just gave it a jacket.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Can I just have just a little at that? But
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: any net roll with a clipboard, I like it. The
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: keyword was net ro any neat roll, let me see,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: let me see hot man? You see man, I love
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: them to show you the hot The mall cop outside

- 1:08:21Speaker 1: let me spread down. I'm all your I don't I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: don't want that. Yeah, and then there's a supreme I
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: want a supreme or the Supreme select. I don't want that.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I just want to quick. I don't want that. I'm
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: gonna tell you somebody now, I'm still out here. I'm
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: young and everything. But when I go to the club
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: and I go to the bathroom to attended in that,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: hey you're doing too much. No. I can turn on
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: the wall, I can grab the paper, But what I
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: don't need you to do is to go on out
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: to the night. What they ended it, They look like
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: who they're doing. You see anything you like? Hey, Dom,

- 1:10:10Speaker 1: do their job. Whoever sang in a restaurant, overdoing your
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: damn job. We are in here for the oysters. That's
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: for you. You ain't got the overseeing that we don't
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: even know you was gonna be. Come on, you know
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: who really be doing doing it? Now? These pastors on

- 1:10:51Speaker 1: it's football season. You know it's Sunday. You know this
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: damn games. So like mother, you still up here talking
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: about coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the Steven Show. Okay, So, Carla,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: we talked off the air. You had a random question
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: for me. Well, you know, I was watching the Today
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Show and they were talking about they were having this
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: crazy discussion and this is just for the ladies. Do
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you wear underwear with your spanks? So that was the discussion, right,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: So Hodah said yes, but Jenny said no. Isn't it
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Jenny Laura Bush's daughter that's on the third armor of
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the Today Show? She said no? And so what do
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you say, Shirley. I'm with Jenna Jenna Jenny Jenna Jenna Bush.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: I'm with missus Jenna Bush. It's too much going on
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: under there, which mine whole stuff in, you know, eliminate
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: lines and all this too much. I need to breathe, Carla,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I need to breathe. I need to exhale. Right, So
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I'm with you on that no underwear with spanks. I
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: know we're getting a little too personal. Early this morning.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: But it is what it is, so we got to
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: talk about it with our ladies. So I'm with you,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Shirly and with Jenna. I'm from the Today Show. Ye
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I know, underwear with your spanks, come on home, all right,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: secrets be told. I don't even wear spanks anymore. I
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: just don't pandemics whatever. Man, Hey, listen, follow us the
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: whole social media. I met my girl Shirley, and I'm
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: at lip sparked Carla. All right, thank you girl. Coming
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour more of
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: introduce your friend, ladies and gentlemen. That damn Jay Anthony Brown.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I think what we're about to do now will answer
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: a lot of questions that people have. They have questions.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: This will answer those questions that people have. From that questions,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: I hit it, David. The song is to answer the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: question that everybody's been asking, and we will answer the
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: question that most people have been asking. He's answered. Thank
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you very much, Jay Anthony, good morning. Everybody asked the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: question some folks have asked the question, why dude, we come.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: We like to know why you come, sweetcus, because it
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: cuse because they're fed up and we have had enough.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Come on down, We because when we will cuns at
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: times of happiness, because when we said we will cunsant
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: times of sadness and God, some people got it from
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: the Mother's God and others got it from the dance.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Come on us. So you can't use nice the words
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: in sound, it'll be real rough to get the words
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: out and takes the place likely shut down. Could you
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: please shut them? And sometimes you want to tell church members,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: could you just please please shut just shut the ifoop
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: and now you have Oh, now you have the answer.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Now you had the bees and why that is the
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: reason why we cause. Don't tell me how to run
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: the church. I'm the pastor up in here. That's always
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: them out. Could you just shut the IF book? You
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: can don't try to tell me what to do. Are
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: out after your mind? Acurio worst the worst higher you ever.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: It's great, it's great, you're so happy. I'm here works jay.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: So you're gonna use that song from that art is well?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: It answers the question and the reason why we cuss
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: is right there. I mean, what question you were talking
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: about when one question? What about the reason why we cuss? Yes,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: but we do? That's it answer. Yeah, that's gonna probably
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: end up viral somewhere. That's gonna end up viral somewhere.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, But you know what, the only thing I
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: went about, did somebody else do it before me? And
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I'm like, nobody touched that that song is right there?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I mean, damn, that's what you were worried about, exactly right,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: somebody doing it before me? Right, all right, thank you,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: thank you, Jay, thank you. All right. Steve coming up
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: closing remarks right after this. You're listening, all right, Here
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: we are, Steve, last break of the day. It's been
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: a great day. What a day on a day. Yeah,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: it's been a crazy day today. So Steve, now it's
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: time for you to take us home with your closing remarks.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: My closing remarks today, um are gonna be based around
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: the value of yourself. I think this is important. Uh.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Tommy sent this to me. He sent me a saying, oh,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: you know, a bill boy, and it really triggered me
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: to thinking I'm gonna share that with you. But it
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: all pertains to the value of yourself. This can pertain
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: to you in terms of reaching your goals, your dreams,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: all in business, and this is for you to consider
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: in the relationship of love. It is amazing to me
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: why I talk to people, and people talk about how
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: they're being treated and handled it and represented and dealt with,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: and how they can't seem to get nobody to see
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: their value and their worth. And I'm sitting a bit going,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait a minute. You can't try to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: get someone to see something in you that you don't
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: see in yourself. It starts with you. You know, you've
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: all heard the saying beauty is on the inside. It's
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: not just skin deep. That's true. Confidence is not an
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: outward emotion. It's something that starts from within. Everything starts
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: from within and in the zoos and and and and
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: manifest itself in the outward shape or form. So if
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you want people to value you, you must first value yourself.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I tell my daughters all the time. You can train
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: a man how to treat you well, Daddy, how do
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: you train a man? You just don't accept bad treatment
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: from him. If you don't accept bad treatment from him,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: little girl of mine, then guess what he can't keep
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: giving it to you. A person can only treat you
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: the way you allow them to do it. If you
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: don't accept a man coming to pick you up late
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: all the time, and he comes to pick you up
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: late twice, but you stop going with him every time
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: he late. The next time he want to go out
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: with you, he got to be on time. Now. If
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: he don't want to be on time, then guess what.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: You don't go out. You've trained him how to treat you,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: and if he don't line up with what you walk,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: then guess what he not for you. At least you
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: don't have to be mistreated the way he want to
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: treat you by simply not allowing him to treat you
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: any way he wants to. You cannot have high value
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: for yourself and expect someone else to have a high
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: value of you. That goes into the same thing with business.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: You can't go in and ask for a raise if
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: you don't think you deserved one. What would cause you
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: to walk in there and ask for a raise if
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: you don't think you deserved one, If you don't have
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the facts to back up a raise. You can't want
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: more money just because you don't spend all the money
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you had. You got to go in there and ask
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: for a raise because you can show value to the company.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: You're worth this much more to the company. The company
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: has become this because of you. Then you can show
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: your value. Then you can go in there with a raise,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: and you can go in there with some confidence with
