- 0:00Speaker 1: Today show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all at all at all. Given them all.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Back A million bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 3: To I want to joy Joy You don't use that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: You love your.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Turn you gotta turn.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Well, I.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Got to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you probably got to turn the mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Turn out the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Looks me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out? You're thinking that, I sure.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Well, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice. Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show. You know, I think I ought to explain
- 2:13Speaker 2: something to y'all. You know when I wake up in
- 2:15Speaker 2: the morning and I say, dig me now, what I'm
- 2:20Speaker 2: asking you to do is it's old school. You know, man,
- 2:22Speaker 2: you know you said old people say I dig you
- 2:25Speaker 2: know da da da, never stop saying it. Sorry, but
- 2:29Speaker 2: dig me now. It's just I want you to I
- 2:31Speaker 2: don't you really feel me? I want you to understand
- 2:34Speaker 2: what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is all
- 2:38Speaker 2: given in the spirit of sharing and love. It ain't
- 2:41Speaker 2: about to expose me in any way. That's not the
- 2:45Speaker 2: purpose of it. But I found that in my morning
- 2:48Speaker 2: inspiration that it's best that I use some things about myself,
- 2:52Speaker 2: because I mean, what better example can I use? Because
- 2:54Speaker 2: I know me, I know what's happened to me, I
- 2:57Speaker 2: know exactly how I felt all along the way concerning
- 3:00Speaker 2: almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now fully
- 3:05Speaker 2: do really understand why God had my life spend the
- 3:09Speaker 2: way it spun. And here's the part that I want
- 3:12Speaker 2: to give to you this morning, that, first of all,
- 3:15Speaker 2: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:18Speaker 2: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:22Speaker 2: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Thoughts turn into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:33Speaker 2: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:35Speaker 2: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:43Speaker 2: direct opposite is true for those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:48Speaker 2: it turns into positive things.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's the deal. It's as simple as that, folks.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I cannot break it down any cleaner, I cannot make
- 4:00Speaker 2: it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So the one glaring
- 4:07Speaker 2: question for all of us always is on a daily basis,
- 4:12Speaker 2: what are you thinking? What are your thoughts? What are
- 4:15Speaker 2: you thinking? What are your thoughts? Because I can assure
- 4:21Speaker 2: you and is not by a promise of mine. This
- 4:25Speaker 2: is not a theory that Steve Harveyden came up with.
- 4:29Speaker 2: This is a fact of life.
- 4:32Speaker 6: This is biblical, this is spiritual, this is written, This
- 4:36Speaker 6: is philosophical. This is the law of the universe.
- 4:40Speaker 2: However, you need to drink this medicine to take to
- 4:43Speaker 2: get it down and feel what I'm saying to you.
- 4:47Speaker 1: This is just the way it is now and here
- 4:49Speaker 1: the cold part, folks.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It don't matter if you believe me or not. It
- 4:55Speaker 2: does not matter if you have never been explained this
- 5:00Speaker 2: or not. And it does not matter if you think
- 5:03Speaker 2: it works in your life or not.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: it is. It is as.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Scriptural, it is a spiritual, it is philosophical.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's just whatever's the law of the universe. You call
- 5:18Speaker 1: whatever you want call.
- 5:19Speaker 2: However, you got to dress this thing up to put
- 5:22Speaker 2: it in a phase that you can feel me. I
- 5:25Speaker 2: want you to feel me now, because this is all
- 5:27Speaker 2: it is. So when I say that you are where
- 5:31Speaker 2: we are today because we thought ourselves here, are you
- 5:34Speaker 2: best to believe that's true? You thought yourself here, no
- 5:38Speaker 2: one else see. Let me explain something I got people
- 5:42Speaker 2: around me who so badly want to take credit for it,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but I don't allow it. But because I keep pointing
- 5:52Speaker 2: to the heavens, I keep pointing and trying to say
- 5:56Speaker 2: it out loud as many times as I can without
- 5:59Speaker 2: being so offensive, that my life is by design, by
- 6:05Speaker 2: grace and mercy, by blessings from God. My life is
- 6:09Speaker 2: because God has seen it to be so. Oh, but
- 6:12Speaker 2: I got plenty of people around me want credit for
- 6:14Speaker 2: it and want you to not give credit to God
- 6:18Speaker 2: and give it to them.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I got that.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I got that, but I understand that. See, I understand
- 6:23Speaker 2: what that is. That's a person whose design is to
- 6:27Speaker 2: get the credit.
- 6:29Speaker 7: But it's okay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it.
- 6:34Speaker 2: As I get older and older, he always said to me, son,
- 6:38Speaker 2: everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 6:41Speaker 1: See.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You know, I don't know how people say it in church.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You know, sometime they go, well, people come into your
- 6:47Speaker 2: life for seasons, and I guess that's the same thing.
- 6:50Speaker 2: You know, they seizing up, They gone well, you know,
- 6:52Speaker 2: and then but then hi, the way they try to
- 6:55Speaker 2: hold you though, or you're gonna forget where you come from.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Ain't gonna keep it real no more. I don't want
- 7:03Speaker 2: to go back where I come from. I don't want
- 7:06Speaker 2: to keep it that real no more. It was real
- 7:08Speaker 2: enough for me living in the car. I had enough
- 7:10Speaker 2: of that real. I don't gonna keep it real now.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I don't keep it real. I wanna go keep it dreamy.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I want to go keep it fantasized.
- 7:18Speaker 8: I want, I wanna.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:21Speaker 2: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 2: keep it moving. I want to keep it bad, and
- 7:25Speaker 2: I want to see what that's like. So nah, I
- 7:28Speaker 2: ain't gonna forget where I come from, but you ain't
- 7:30Speaker 2: gonna hold me to that though. See, thoughts become things
- 7:36Speaker 2: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 7:40Speaker 2: things that you want written down? What do you think
- 7:43Speaker 2: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 7:48Speaker 2: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 7:51Speaker 2: See here hear another law? If thoughts become things, Let
- 7:57Speaker 2: me ask you this. If all all you thinking about
- 8:01Speaker 2: is your debt, if all you're thinking about is what
- 8:04Speaker 2: you ain't got, If all you thinking about or is
- 8:07Speaker 2: all woe is me? If all you thinking about is
- 8:10Speaker 2: every time I turn around, I'm sick. If all you
- 8:13Speaker 2: thinking about it's the things in life that you're lacking.
- 8:19Speaker 2: If that's all you thinking about, and if thoughts become things,
- 8:26Speaker 2: how much debt you think you're gonna stay in?
- 8:29Speaker 1: How much? How much how much lacking you think you
- 8:32Speaker 1: finn to fill your life with?
- 8:34Speaker 2: How much most stuff you fin to not have because
- 8:38Speaker 2: you keep thinking about it all the time. When you're
- 8:43Speaker 2: gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when
- 8:47Speaker 2: it's gonna come out your mouth, man, that I may
- 8:51Speaker 2: not be where I want to be, but I show
- 8:53Speaker 2: am grateful for what you've given me so far, for
- 8:56Speaker 2: the things I have today because I don't have to
- 8:59Speaker 2: have these things?
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know what that does?
- 9:01Speaker 2: That then opens up room for more stuff to come
- 9:05Speaker 2: your way. To be grateful fall. But if you're gonna
- 9:07Speaker 2: be ungrateful, ah, man, let me ask you something. I
- 9:11Speaker 2: ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let me
- 9:13Speaker 2: ask you something man. If you ungrateful for the things
- 9:16Speaker 2: we got, if we can't show no gratitude for what.
- 9:20Speaker 1: We have, why would God give us some most stuff
- 9:24Speaker 1: to be ungrateful for? What would he do that for tada.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Anybody feel me right now? So when I say come on, y'all,
- 9:33Speaker 1: dig me, now, do you.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Understand why I say dig me because I want you
- 9:36Speaker 2: to feel me. I want you to understand and come
- 9:38Speaker 2: to the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because there's so
- 9:41Speaker 2: many people got a deeper understanding than me about this
- 9:43Speaker 2: whole thing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I promise you they do, but they listen to me.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I'm just trying to get you to walk up in
- 9:48Speaker 2: this light, man, so you can go on with your
- 9:50Speaker 2: life and quit tripping yourself out with your thoughts, because
- 9:53Speaker 2: thoughts become things, all right.

- 11:50Speaker 2: good brothers. Man known for over fifty years now and just.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Who are healthy? How are they in good shake?
- 12:04Speaker 2: For the most part, Yes, because we have a health
- 12:07Speaker 2: group that we stay up with each other. We know
- 12:10Speaker 2: where everybody at. They're a lot healthier than they were
- 12:13Speaker 2: two years ago because we have a health group.

- 26:30Speaker 1: checking on? Oh got you that part?
- 26:34Speaker 8: Okay, all right, okay, all right? Uh moving on to
- 26:40Speaker 8: Kalisa and Richmond. Kalisa rights, I had a one night
- 26:44Speaker 8: stand and the guy stalked me and showed up at
- 26:47Speaker 8: my job. My coworker said, it's sweet, but I think
- 26:51Speaker 8: it's scary. I did a background check on him, and
- 26:54Speaker 8: everyone he knows says he's a good guy. Should I
- 26:57Speaker 8: hang out with him again? He turned and him, what
- 27:01Speaker 8: I don't understand these letters? One night stand and then
- 27:07Speaker 8: the guy showed up.
- 27:09Speaker 11: It was from.
- 27:13Speaker 1: A job.
- 27:15Speaker 3: The job though not just.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Be one night.
- 27:20Speaker 11: Fall.
- 27:27Speaker 1: You're right after that creep, creep right on up to
- 27:31Speaker 1: that job.
- 27:33Speaker 8: And her coworkers thought it was a sweet gesture, but
- 27:36Speaker 8: she thinks it's a little scary.
- 27:38Speaker 2: She said, well, lady, you ain't you ain't you wasn't
- 27:42Speaker 2: scared at the one nice thing?
- 27:44Speaker 1: Why are you scared he at your job? At least
- 27:46Speaker 1: the lights is on. You got some witnesses.
- 27:50Speaker 2: If you was not scared at the one nice stand,
- 27:52Speaker 2: what are you scared the next day at the job.
- 27:54Speaker 8: For well, she doesn't want to lose her job to
- 27:57Speaker 8: some random guy coming up there.
- 28:00Speaker 2: She didn't what the letter was about. Next, that is
- 28:04Speaker 2: not what this letter was about. The letter was about
- 28:07Speaker 2: not losing her job. She did a background check and
- 28:11Speaker 2: everybody says he's a nice guy. It's her that's the problem. See,
- 28:17Speaker 2: she don't know how not to be tricky. First of all,
- 28:21Speaker 2: she's done the one nice stand before. That's why she
- 28:24Speaker 2: ain't used to nobody showing back up. Now, how many
- 28:27Speaker 2: one nice stands you need to have for you? Frak
- 28:30Speaker 2: figure out? This ain't really what you do.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Now.
- 28:33Speaker 2: You have run up into a good guy and they
- 28:35Speaker 2: had a one nice stand. You reaven know how to
- 28:37Speaker 2: handle that. What is he back over here for?
- 28:38Speaker 1: It was just for one night?
- 28:39Speaker 4: What is.
- 28:42Speaker 1: What is you trying to have a relationship for?
- 28:46Speaker 8: I like, yeah, so should she? Should she go out
- 28:54Speaker 8: with him again?
- 28:56Speaker 2: This girl is in the one nice stands and this
- 28:59Speaker 2: is what she do now. This wanting you again is.
- 29:03Speaker 8: Confusing to just just threw her into something.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And yeah somebody after that one night stak.
- 29:13Speaker 8: Yeah, that's not what she does, all right? Last one
- 29:20Speaker 8: Sonya and Tampa writes, there have been four men in
- 29:23Speaker 8: my life that showed me that men are dogs. I
- 29:26Speaker 8: have a hard time trusting the new guy I'm dating
- 29:29Speaker 8: because of that? How do I let go of the past.
- 29:32Speaker 1: And move on? See that's the problem. That Isn't that
- 29:36Speaker 1: the problem?
- 29:37Speaker 2: You can't drive your car looking in your rear view
- 29:40Speaker 2: mirror and it's the law of attraction. All me and
- 29:44Speaker 2: her dogs. Well, guess what now you're fin to meet
- 29:46Speaker 2: all of them? Then would you meet a good one?
- 29:52Speaker 2: You automatically want to put him in the dog category
- 29:55Speaker 2: because your pickers off for me in my life has
- 30:00Speaker 2: showed me me and adults. Once you make that statement,
- 30:03Speaker 2: that's what you're going to attract to yourself.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Stop putting that in your energy in your universe.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Okay, stop, Ask God to help all of your steps
- 30:15Speaker 2: and introduce you to the right kind of guy.
- 30:17Speaker 1: But be still for me, you need to quit picking. Yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 1: you got it wrong full time?
- 30:23Speaker 8: All right, thank you for loo. Coming up at the
- 30:26Speaker 8: top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you.

- 32:29Speaker 2: Marriage requires a skill set and most twenty one year
- 32:33Speaker 2: olds don't have that skill set.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Now you can learn on the job. They got on

- 33:31Speaker 8: and his fiance journalist Laurence Sanchez are said to be
- 33:35Speaker 8: planning a ten million dollar wedding in Venice, Italy, at
- 33:39Speaker 8: the end of June. Now, this wedding event is gonna
- 33:43Speaker 8: host about two hundred guests, and each guest will cost
- 33:46Speaker 8: an estimated fifty thousand dollars. Okay, and that's because of
- 33:51Speaker 8: the luxury.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Huh.
- 33:53Speaker 8: Who Jeff Bezos Amazon, Oh.
- 33:58Speaker 1: He hold his hell En Rich Oh you're cool with
- 34:02Speaker 1: that one.
- 34:05Speaker 8: Well, it's gonna host, like I said, about two hundred guests,
- 34:08Speaker 8: and each guest will cost an estimated fifty grand. This
- 34:12Speaker 8: includes the luxury accommodations and additional costs including docking fees
- 34:17Speaker 8: for their yacht and expenses for photography, fashion, and more.
- 34:23Speaker 8: Jeff Bezos remember divorced his wife Mackenzie back in twenty nineteen.
- 34:28Speaker 8: They did not have a pre nup and he had
- 34:31Speaker 8: to pay her. Steve, are you listening? Thirty eight billion
- 34:35Speaker 8: dollars with the b okay? No pre nup? Okay, And
- 34:41Speaker 8: there's no word if he has a prenup with you know,
- 34:45Speaker 8: in his upcoming second marriage, either to Laurence Sanchez.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Learn, I don't care who you are. Thirty eight billion.
- 34:56Speaker 8: Yeah, that's a lot of money. There's a lot a
- 34:58Speaker 8: lot of money. So here's a question. Here's the question, Steve,
- 35:02Speaker 8: would you guys do a prenup if you were a
- 35:05Speaker 8: billionaire junior?
- 35:07Speaker 10: You go first, No, No, my wife ain't gonna let
- 35:10Speaker 10: me have a prenum, So let's quit that question right now.
- 35:14Speaker 1: No, she wouldn't let me have none of that no, Junior.
- 35:17Speaker 1: The question is, Junior, the question is if you were
- 35:20Speaker 1: a billionaire with the big yeah, And the answer still
- 35:25Speaker 1: is no, because she won't let me have one. So
- 35:30Speaker 1: then I said what I said, right, and I stand up.
- 35:34Speaker 10: She's thinking for me, lef sir, you mean have a
- 35:37Speaker 10: She's thinking all the thinking in this family.
- 35:39Speaker 1: She doing it now.
- 35:41Speaker 8: So it's a hard note for you, junior. Okay, all right,
- 35:45Speaker 8: we'll talk to the millionaire now. But that billions.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Well, I'm a proponent of this at my age, at
- 35:55Speaker 2: my age and my present and current thought process, everybody
- 36:02Speaker 2: that I know who has ever had a prenup.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Has used it.
- 36:10Speaker 8: Wow.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I don't know a single person who had a prenup
- 36:14Speaker 1: that did not use it.
- 36:16Speaker 8: Is that because of the mindset you're going into it thinking.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Well, it's yeah, I mean it's preparing for failure. It's
- 36:25Speaker 2: no way you'll give your all in all in all
- 36:27Speaker 2: in all when there's an outclause and you know what
- 36:31Speaker 2: the number is. I had a guy tell me one time.
- 36:34Speaker 2: He said, look, man, I done looked at this prenup.
- 36:37Speaker 2: I know what the number is. I'm sick it is.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay that number to get out and I
- 36:45Speaker 2: just know that everybody that I know that had a
- 36:48Speaker 2: prenup has used it. That could be some other people
- 36:50Speaker 2: out there, but I don't know it. But everybody I
- 36:52Speaker 2: know they had a prenup used it. So in my
- 36:55Speaker 2: current state and situation, that Junior used his wife as
- 36:59Speaker 2: an example, I'd have to use mine.
- 37:01Speaker 1: No, I didn't, and I don't have a crewom okay,
- 37:04Speaker 1: oh well, and I was well off when I got married,
- 37:08Speaker 1: So yeah, right, all right, all right, thank you guys.
- 37:12Speaker 8: Coming up next, it's summer travel season, and a flying
- 37:15Speaker 8: can be a lovely experience or a total nightmare. We'll
- 37:18Speaker 8: talk about it when we come back.
- 37:20Speaker 13: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, folks, there are a
- 37:29Speaker 13: lot of reasons to like Hyundai.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consumers. I mean,
- 37:35Speaker 2: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 37:39Speaker 2: the United States over the next three years that will
- 37:41Speaker 2: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 37:45Speaker 11: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 37:48Speaker 11: MSRP through June second, no matter what.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Call five six two three one four forty six zero
- 37:55Speaker 1: three for more details.
- 37:57Speaker 8: So, guys, it's summer travel vacation season, and flying can
- 38:01Speaker 8: be a lovely experience or it can be a nightmare,
- 38:05Speaker 8: depending on what happens on the plane. And a new
- 38:07Speaker 8: survey highlights the things that irritate passengers the most now.
- 38:12Speaker 8: According to a poll of two thousand air travelers, kids
- 38:15Speaker 8: are responsible for two of the most annoying things.
- 38:19Speaker 7: What can you think of?
- 38:20Speaker 8: What they might be? Just off the top of your head. Kids,
- 38:23Speaker 8: Something kids do that get on your nerves?
- 38:25Speaker 1: Ru uh huh, Hey, kicking that chair, that is it?
- 38:31Speaker 9: That is it?
- 38:31Speaker 8: Kicking the back of the seat and crying all right.
- 38:36Speaker 8: Seat reclining comes in number three, followed by drunk passengers
- 38:42Speaker 8: and people using a device without using headphones. Oh no,
- 38:48Speaker 8: these are all irritants, all right. So here's a question
- 38:52Speaker 8: what annoys you most on the plane? And what and
- 38:55Speaker 8: do you do any irritating things yourself that might annoy others? Snoring?
- 39:01Speaker 1: Snoring? I know one thing that irritate me.
- 39:06Speaker 10: Well, for some reason, I'm sitting next to these people
- 39:08Speaker 10: who like taking their shoes off, and I'm sitting there
- 39:10Speaker 10: watching them rub their feet.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I don't that's it. I can't stick. Why is your
- 39:14Speaker 1: shoes off of you?
- 39:16Speaker 8: I don't like bare feet on the flank. Man, I
- 39:18Speaker 8: do not weird.
- 39:21Speaker 1: So if they take their shoes off and they have
- 39:23Speaker 1: socks on, it doesn't bother you.
- 39:24Speaker 8: Yeah, it's okay.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yeah, So we're talking about bad feet and you as me.
- 39:29Speaker 1: How am I doing today? Not well? Right now?
- 39:33Speaker 10: I was You took your shoes with no socks thought,
- 39:39Speaker 10: but you rubbing these feet together like they the prettiest
- 39:41Speaker 10: feet we've ever seen.
- 39:44Speaker 8: So if they were pretty feet, would it bother you?
- 39:47Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 39:47Speaker 10: Sure, we ain't seen none. Toenail's missing. You got this
- 39:56Speaker 10: built up scab in the back of your foot, all
- 39:59Speaker 10: this dead skin. I don't know why we rubbing these together?
- 40:07Speaker 8: Get your feet?
- 40:09Speaker 1: And what's all this talking to me while you're rubbing
- 40:11Speaker 1: your feet? How's your day going? What you been up to?
- 40:14Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 40:15Speaker 5: Nothing?
- 40:15Speaker 1: I don't do nothing. I don't talk, so I get
- 40:20Speaker 1: the stormy I give something back.
- 40:22Speaker 8: Okay, what about you?
- 40:27Speaker 1: That's funny?
- 40:28Speaker 8: What irritates you? And are you irritating at all?
- 40:32Speaker 1: The only thing tick me off is taking pictures? Oh yeah, oh,
- 40:36Speaker 1: we don't have that problem.
- 40:37Speaker 2: But that's the only problem. That's why they won't bring
- 40:41Speaker 2: it up. It's nothing wide spread problem. I mean, I've
- 40:46Speaker 2: had somebody tap me to wake me up for a picture.
- 40:53Speaker 2: And let me tell you something, man, I am not
- 40:56Speaker 2: good at that. Well wait, I don't realize I'm saying
- 41:00Speaker 2: was at that moment, I'd be one of people crazy,
- 41:05Speaker 2: all right? And then I say something crazy? Now they shaty.
- 41:09Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 41:10Speaker 1: Could you received?
- 41:12Speaker 9: All right? Thanks?
- 41:13Speaker 8: Guys coming up at thirty four minutes after the hours
- 41:16Speaker 8: planned some crazy funeral stories right after this. You're listening
- 41:21Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show. A Los Angeles family is suing
- 41:28Speaker 8: a funeral home after workers misplaced their loved one's body
- 41:32Speaker 8: and dressed another corpse in his clothing. Miss Hunt said
- 41:37Speaker 8: she arrived at the Harrison Ross mortuary to view her
- 41:40Speaker 8: late uncle's body and was shocked to see someone else
- 41:43Speaker 8: wearing his suit. She says, it was a guy lying
- 41:47Speaker 8: there in my uncle's suit, but it wasn't my uncle.
- 41:50Speaker 8: I just kept looking at him. Yeah, I am like
- 41:54Speaker 8: he couldn't have gotten that dark. Even worse, she says,
- 41:57Speaker 8: a worker dismissed her concerns and in it was a
- 42:00Speaker 8: correct body and that she was the one who was mistaken.
- 42:04Speaker 8: Hunt said, that's not my uncle. My uncle wouldn't have
- 42:08Speaker 8: gotten that dark. I showed a picture and she said, yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 8: you're right, give us one minute, Hunt says the family
- 42:15Speaker 8: waited three hours for the mortuary to fix the mistake
- 42:20Speaker 8: before they could finally bury her uncle. The family has
- 42:23Speaker 8: since filed a lawsuit. So here's the question. Do you
- 42:28Speaker 8: guys have any crazy funeral stories?
- 42:32Speaker 3: No?
- 42:32Speaker 2: I The first thing they need to do is for
- 42:34Speaker 2: this lawsuit to be successful. Ist, somebody gonna have to
- 42:39Speaker 2: find a way. Yeah, to ask uncle Harold where he was?
- 42:45Speaker 8: What do you mean?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Because I don't know who the dogs can do. It
- 42:48Speaker 2: is y'all had in it, And you don't know what
- 42:53Speaker 2: happened to people when they die. You don't know if
- 42:55Speaker 2: the change come out, change anything. So the mortuary was
- 42:59Speaker 2: playing on that, but they just put the suit on
- 43:02Speaker 2: the wrong body. That's the whole thing. I've actually had
- 43:06Speaker 2: that when my uncle died. I took the suit up
- 43:09Speaker 2: to the funeral in them when we when we yeah,
- 43:12Speaker 2: when we got to the church there, my uncle didn't
- 43:14Speaker 2: have a suit on.
- 43:15Speaker 1: He had on a Jordan track suit. They took the suit.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Cas and and when they opened the cask and he
- 43:27Speaker 2: had on a Jordan track suit and funeral director had
- 43:30Speaker 2: this suit on.
- 43:31Speaker 14: That that's so shady, that's so shady, jacked your uncle suit.
- 43:44Speaker 8: He didn't think anyone would notice.
- 43:46Speaker 2: What, Yeah, that's what I was sitting there going my brother,
- 43:51Speaker 2: my big brother say, and ain't that that suit we
- 43:54Speaker 2: took up? Because my uncle would never wear a Jordan tracksuit?
- 43:59Speaker 1: He any Ham. Yeah, so you know, we just myther
- 44:06Speaker 1: brother said he should have put a headband on it.
- 44:09Speaker 9: To go with what.
- 44:15Speaker 1: You know, you know, make him look more athletic.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Couldn't complete the look.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I said that. My brother said that coach shot though,
- 44:32Speaker 1: but that I know, JR.
- 44:34Speaker 4: I know.
- 44:35Speaker 8: Let's just get say that Carlo.
- 44:39Speaker 10: Your family brothers wanted to be a pall bearer, but
- 44:42Speaker 10: he wasn't in the best health. So we don't know
- 44:45Speaker 10: why we let him be the pall bear. He had
- 44:47Speaker 10: all this medical equipment and couldn't carry his end to
- 44:50Speaker 10: the cask. He had a defibulators tank wheelchair carry his
- 44:55Speaker 10: sister to that hurs. Boy with that march went off
- 44:58Speaker 10: and he said whe whe where his blood pressure went up?
- 45:00Speaker 1: Boy, we bore whole up.
- 45:03Speaker 10: We told y'all he wasn't able to carry his body.
- 45:08Speaker 10: Man passing say y'all been with the family. Bear with
- 45:11Speaker 10: the family, by.
- 45:17Speaker 1: My muscles up this. He had no business being a
- 45:20Speaker 1: pall bearry.
- 45:21Speaker 7: We got any health conditions.
- 45:22Speaker 5: We need able body.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Paul Bear up here.
- 45:25Speaker 10: Trying to carry somebody, because that's your sister.
- 45:31Speaker 1: If you if you're in a wheelchair, you shouldn't be
- 45:33Speaker 1: a Paul Bear. I'm gonna tell you try to care.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Not gonna be able to keep this casket either.
- 45:40Speaker 9: Right.
- 45:41Speaker 1: She then dropped his end.
- 45:42Speaker 5: She had slid inside and casting.
- 45:46Speaker 2: All right, all right, we should to go down the
- 45:48Speaker 2: steps now, somebody get down these steps.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Steps because you're trying to honor her.

- 56:47Speaker 8: Let up, Thank you, nephew. Subject, Can we please close
- 56:51Speaker 8: the door first? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married to a
- 56:55Speaker 8: caveman and he invades MySpace all day every day. We've
- 56:59Speaker 8: been together for eight years and married for four years.
- 57:03Speaker 8: We work from home, and we were sharing our home
- 57:05Speaker 8: office until I moved my desk into the foyer to
- 57:09Speaker 8: get away from him. As soon as you walk in
- 57:11Speaker 8: our front door, my desk is right there. It looks junkie,
- 57:15Speaker 8: but I'm willing to endure the mess over having him
- 57:17Speaker 8: in my personal space all day. When he's not working,
- 57:21Speaker 8: he's on the phone gossiping with one of his friends
- 57:23Speaker 8: or co workers, and he talks so loudly that I
- 57:27Speaker 8: can't get work done. I've asked him to please keep
- 57:31Speaker 8: the door closed when he's on calls. He won't do it,
- 57:34Speaker 8: he said, when he's closed, the room gets cold. I
- 57:37Speaker 8: want to go rent off his space elsewhere, but my
- 57:39Speaker 8: company won't pay for it. The funny part is that
- 57:42Speaker 8: he knows he's dancing on my last nerve and he
- 57:45Speaker 8: doesn't care. He uses the bathroom with the door open,
- 57:48Speaker 8: and he loves to strike up a conversation with me,
- 57:51Speaker 8: so I've banned him from using the toilet in our bedroom.
- 57:55Speaker 8: He has to use the one down the hall since
- 57:57Speaker 8: he does not know how to shut doors. I usually
- 58:00Speaker 8: walked down the hall, sprang air freshener as I go.
- 58:03Speaker 8: He thinks it's funny. Last weekend, his sister and her
- 58:07Speaker 8: new boyfriend stayed overnight with us. My husband still didn't
- 58:10Speaker 8: close the bathroom door. He left it cracked when he
- 58:13Speaker 8: used it and said it's his sisters, so it's no
- 58:16Speaker 8: big deal. When we went to bed, I locked our
- 58:18Speaker 8: bedroom door since we had company. We ended up having
- 58:22Speaker 8: sex later that night, and right afterwards I noticed that
- 58:25Speaker 8: our bedroom door was cracked once again. He said that
- 58:29Speaker 8: the room is colder when the door is closed. I'm
- 58:32Speaker 8: sure his sister heard us having sex. Why is my
- 58:35Speaker 8: husband like this? And can he be fixed or not?
- 58:39Speaker 8: I don't know that's your husband. That's a question really
- 58:42Speaker 8: only you can answer. You've been with this man for
- 58:45Speaker 8: eight years, so you know him better than anyone. He
- 58:49Speaker 8: didn't just start doing this. I'm sure this has been
- 58:51Speaker 8: going on for quite some time. You know, you talk
- 58:54Speaker 8: about him invading your space and talking loud and gossiping
- 58:57Speaker 8: and leaving doors open all that. The big question is why,
- 59:00Speaker 8: I mean, why have you put up with it for
- 59:02Speaker 8: this long? I mean, and why doesn't he like to
- 59:05Speaker 8: close the doors? No one needs to know what's going
- 59:07Speaker 8: on in the bathroom, but the person using it period.
- 59:11Speaker 1: This is rude.
- 59:12Speaker 8: I mean, really, this is really rude. It's not funny,
- 59:15Speaker 8: it's just nasty. It has nothing to do with temperature,
- 59:18Speaker 8: with it being cold. If it's too cold, he could
- 59:20Speaker 8: put a coat on, he could put a sweater on, whatever,
- 59:23Speaker 8: you know, to warm himself up. Well, what is he
- 59:26Speaker 8: talking about. I don't even get that part. It's not sexy.
- 59:29Speaker 8: I'm surprised you can even still have sex with him
- 59:31Speaker 8: after smelling all of that. You walk down the hall
- 59:33Speaker 8: with air freshener. I hope you bring some of that
- 59:35Speaker 8: air freshener to the bedroom. I don't know, ew ew
- 59:39Speaker 8: ew ew Steve, I don't really know.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know what to say about this letter.
- 59:47Speaker 2: First of all, I would like to say, on behalf
- 59:50Speaker 2: of Shirley and myself, we we do not care at all.
- 59:56Speaker 1: We don't we don't, we don't care. There's nothing in
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: this letter that I care about. I don't care.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: About your husband. I don't care about these doors open.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I don't care about you being mad. And let's just
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: go down on the letter so I can show you
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: why and nobody listening to this letter cares. I'm married
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: to a cave man. He invaded my space all day,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: every day. We've been together eight years and married for
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: four years. We work from home, and when we're sharing
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: our home office until I moved my desk into the
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: fourier to get away from him, we don't care. As
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: soon as you walk in out front door, my desk
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: is right there. He looks junkie, but I'm willing to
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: endure a mess over having him on my personal space
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: all day.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: We don't care. But he's not working.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: He's on the phone gossiping with one of his friends
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: or coworkers. Then he talks so loud that I can't
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: get the work done.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: We we just don't care.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I've asked him to please keep your door closed when
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: he's on call. Won't do it, he said.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: When it's closed, the room get too cold.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Again. We we don't care. I want to go rent
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: office space elsewhere, but my company won't pay for it. Well,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: why should they? You work from home? Hell, if you
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: work from home, that's because they don't have a job
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: for you down at the office, So why would they
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: rent you an office space?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Now they don't care.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: They're not caring about you, and your husband's going all
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: over the place right now, The funny part is, oh,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: right here, here we go. Now this is wild, light
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: up well love with people who don't do comedy, start
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: writing a letter and want to introduce me to comedy.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: The funny part is here we go that he knows
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: he's dancing on my last nerve and he don't care.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Oh wait, we don't care. The people at the office
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: don't care, and now he don't care. All we need
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: is for you to join in and not care and
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: we'll have succeeded the complete circle. He uses the bathroom
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: with the dope and then he loves to strike up
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: a conversation with me. Now this is the part where
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: I do care. Now see now you got caught out.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: This is the funny part to me. When he used
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: the bathroom, he don't close the door. You need to
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: buy a BP gun.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: That's what you need to do. She need to buy
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: a beepy gun every time in there with the door.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: But he can walk off by it and just shoot
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: it the BP gun.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Don't shoot him in the face of nothing like that,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: just in the body, you know, because you have your
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: knees on you he had your elbows on your knees.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: When you're in the bathroom, you be reading the magazine.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: It's five B being the stomach or something.
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: Hang on, Steve, we'll have you heard more, but of
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: your response to the Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: after the hour today Strawberry letter, subject, can we please
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: close the door first? We'll get back into it.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. You've heard us talk
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: about the benefits of Globe Life insurance. Globe Life has

- 1:03:47Speaker 8: fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is, can we
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: please close the door first?
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Well, this is a letter.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Nobody cares when we find out we don't come here Sherley.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Don't care about this letter. Tommy said something to me
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: on the commercial break. He don't care about the letter.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Nobody cares about this letter. That they married a couple
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: that work from home, and she'd moved her desk into
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: the foyer because she don't want to share office with
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: him because he works from home too. After COVID, we
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: don't care. He talks on the phone all day, gossip,
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: been talking loud with co workers.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: We don't care.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: I've asked him to keep the door closed when he
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: on calls. He don't care. We don't care, he say.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: The reason he do it is because the room gets
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: you cold. He won't do it then he anyway. I
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: want to go rent office space elsewhere, but my company
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: won't pay for it. Now, that's why they call it
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: working from home. See, if it's called working from home,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: why would the company rich you some office space.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: You ain't working from home no more.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Hell, if they didn't want it, If they wanted you
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: to work now from home, they had you come back
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: down there to the company. But they don't want to
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: count now the company would prefer talking to you from
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: your house.
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: They don't.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: I don't think a lot of people like this native
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: any part. The funny party is did she tries to
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: introduce comedy. The funny part is, you know he's dancing
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: on my last nerve and he don't care. So no,
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: he do nobody care anyway, So I banned him from
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: using the toilet, and now also he don't He used
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: the bathroom with the door open, and he loves to
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: strike up a conversation with me, so I banned him
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: from using the toilet in our bedroom. He usually the
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: one down the hallway. Since he don't know how to
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: shut doors. I usually have to walk down the hallways
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: praying afresh and as I go, so he in the
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: hallway with the door. Okay, let me just displain some tea,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: because this let us get more and more ridiculously. His
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: sister came to visit with her new boyfriend, and my
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: husband still didn't close the bathroom door. He left it
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: cracked when he used it, said his sister. Hecause I
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: think he can't believe it's the new boyfriend. Anyway, when
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: we went to bed, we locked our door since we
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: had company. We ended up having sex later, and right
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: afterwards I noticed that our bedroom door was cracked once again.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: He said that the room is colder when the door
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: is closed. I'm sure his sister heard us having sex.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: And why is my husband like this? And what can
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: he be fixed or not? I don't really know what's
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: happening with. Your husband has need some help. He has
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: lonely issues.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: He got to be around somebody all the time.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Your husband may be a bit of an exhibitionist because
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: he like everybody to see what he doing and hear
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: what he's doing all the time.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: The boyfriend definitely said something. He probably gonna break up
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: with your sister after this. And I don't really know
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: what's wrong. I don't know why you married him, and
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: I don't does he have any good qualities at all.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: So I've decided to just do a reenactment of what's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: going on.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: I'm the husband, I'm in the bathroom, surely you're the wife,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: and I got the door open and I'm using the bathroom.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: You can you hear me?
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: Yes, I can hear you, and I don't want to
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: h I mean, could you please just close the door.
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: I don't need to hear it.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: I can't reach your door.
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: Go hold on, hold on, it's not this again.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: What what did you put on them.
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: They were fine, They were fine.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: That's not that.
- 1:07:22Speaker 11: Can you.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Cook it about like you'll be talking about cooking?
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: I tried. I don't like the angle. Close the door,
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: very stop calling me?
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: What go and help me?
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Two towns and.
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: I can't tell me you too much?
- 1:07:57Speaker 15: What if you wanted to pitch for after after drawing,
- 1:08:02Speaker 15: just throw it in hilling anywhere.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: Near you and close the door.

- 1:08:13Speaker 5: No it's nasty, big baby. Don't get the wooden spool
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: they have.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Okay, got the redlar food and throw it to me.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: Close the door.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: You're on your own, Okay if I closed.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: The door, how you gonna hear it? Give me a
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: hot couple of coffee? I need.
- 1:08:32Speaker 15: I need coffee in he No you don't like my cookie? No, no,
- 1:08:37Speaker 15: you ain't got to cook the coffee. The got some
- 1:08:41Speaker 15: soldiers and they did a couple of soldiers. Hold up,
- 1:08:45Speaker 15: don't get the phone and bringing Maxwell House in hill
- 1:08:48Speaker 15: some I didn't Maxwell House for the coffee?
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: Ray back?
- 1:08:58Speaker 13: What brave?
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Frame me some raise and prayers, your glass of brude.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Your ham up.
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: Stop calling me. No, I'm not coming in there.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: What's happening?
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: In here.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: I don't want to know.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Close the door frame and pra.

- 1:10:47Speaker 8: one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. It is
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: time now for junior and sports talk.
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: What you got junior, Oh, Shirley, last night Oklahoma City
- 1:10:58Speaker 10: edged out Minnesota won twenty six two point game. But
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: let me just talk about how talented Shake Gilgers Alexander is.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: That boy dropped forty points.
- 1:11:08Speaker 10: Last night, and I'm talking about he was hot the
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: whole game, the whole game. That's why he's the league
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: MVP right there. But Anthony Edward is just funny to me.
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: He was five or thirteen, he didn't shoot well. But
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: then Anthny say he don't think he was off because
- 1:11:23Speaker 10: he didn't take enough shots. Five or thirteen, He says anything.
- 1:11:29Speaker 10: He just say anything.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Thirteen shots. That ain't a lot for the Star.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: But I mean, he you know, man, you agree with them.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: I love the players today. I love the athleticism. I
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: love the skill set that they that they brought to
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: the game. I don't enjoy basketball the way I used to.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: I just don't enjoy the man.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: A lot of people are saying that I just don't.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Enjoy watching it like I used to because the game
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: has changed, and I understand things evolved, it's a different era.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: But I watch guys drive to the basket and instead
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: of fighting to make the layout possibly go to the
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: line two plus one. They drive all the way in
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: there to throw it all the way back out to
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: a seven foot to watch him miss a three pointer.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: And I'm sitting up here going, man, what happened to
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: taking somebody to the rack? What happened to that skill set?
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: What happened to that stop and pull up mid range jumper?
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: And I'm just hard to.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Watch a seven foot guy miss a three point shot.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: The leading three point shooter on the New York Knicks is.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: The tall boy. Uh call Anthony Towns. Carl Anthony Towns?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: What yes? Seven?
- 1:12:48Speaker 13: Two?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And you know that's the part of the game.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: You can watch an entire NBA basketball game and not
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: see one post up play or play that designed to.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Dump it down to the big guy.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: And it's just hard to watch everybody run out there
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: and set up on that three point line and wait
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: to get the ball. It's just I don't enjoy the
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: game like I used to, even though I enjoy the
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: young Cats and the talent that they have. Steph carry
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: entered this era of basketball and now everybody think they
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: stepped and they ain't.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: And that's the thing you got.
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: You got four people just staying around the three point
- 1:13:28Speaker 10: line and they just swing this ball to get whoever
- 1:13:30Speaker 10: get opened, just to miss the shot. You'll see five
- 1:13:32Speaker 10: threes in a row, five of them. That's five trips
- 1:13:35Speaker 10: down the court.
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: No basket.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Wow, man, that's the harly thing about it.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: So like, I got no dog in this fight. I
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: don't care who win, none of the series. I love
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: to see New York win.
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: I was.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I love to see New York win.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: All right, thank you, Junior, Thank you guys. Coming up
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: at the top of the hour, a woman on social
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: media needs some advice. She's having doubts about her breakup.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, this is
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: from Dasia on Steve HARBFM. Daja says, I broke up
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: with my boyfriend because I thought he was too emotionally
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: immature for a serious relationship. But the way he handled
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: the breakup completely threw me off. He said he didn't
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: want it to end, but that he respected my decision
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: and he'd always care about me. No guilt trip, no drama,
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: just kindness and grace. It was a most mature reaction.
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: I've ever gotten from anyone. Now I can't stop wondering
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: if I was wrong about him or is this just
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: breakup guilt playing tricks on me.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Well, I don't know what breakup guilt is, but I
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: do know this though.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: You know, maybe you had the wrong expectations. You know,
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: sometimes you have maybe your partner don't know exactly what
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: you want and not able to give it to you.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: So then now all of a sudden, but you may
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: have realized, you know, But it's a lot of people
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: give up good people.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: People do it all the time. They just give up
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: good people. And you may have done that.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Just now, now you, Finn, be by yourself, you know,
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: and and and that and that man with them problems
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: that you think is emostly immature. Gonna go find somebody
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: else that's gonna think he's just right. And then you're
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: gonna be looking crazy again.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: So there you have it.
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: That's your answer.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Could be another great decision you made. Ain't the last
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: time you've been by yourself.
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: Well, she's thinking about did she do the wrong thing.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Or messed it up? You don't think the guy, Yeah,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: that's what it is. Yes, she's thinking she did the
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: wrong thing. So now what you want me to do?
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: It's the most you Maybe he was waiting on the
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: breakup to act mature. Maybe he was acting immature so
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: you could break up.
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: We don't know, we don't, but we do know she
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: broke up with him. She's having it, and we know.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: How to make you leave us. Hello? Hello?
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: Oh good?
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Is that a bad time?
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Hello?
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Really? I don't know about this recon guys.
- 1:16:25Speaker 8: You guys are too emotionally immature to handle this, this one.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I see.
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: We're gonna move on. Terry on. Steve Harvey FM says,
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: it seems like it seems that after a month of
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: watching YouTube videos and television, my nineteen year old son
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: has decided that one year of college is enough and
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: that his future lies in house flipping. He's calling it,
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: quote easy money, and is now suggesting that I take
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: the money I was going to use for his tuition
- 1:16:55Speaker 8: and instead give it to him now. So huh yeah,
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: Instead give it to him now so he can go
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: in with a friend and finance their first fixer upper
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: project that he can flip and be on their way
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: to millions. I know it's not that easy, and I
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: don't want to ever crush someone's dreams. But those dreams
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: have to have some bases in reality. What should I do? Yeah,
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: he wants to leave college and start flipping houses and
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: make millions.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Well, you know, whip out that, yep.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: But the part that scares me is he says easy money. Yeah,
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: that's the right, that's the part that through. Yeah, easy money, bro,
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: there's no such thing. All the ease, all the casts
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: I know that made some easy money, they imprison ever last.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: If you don't want to go to college, I understand that.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: If you want to start flipping houses, I got that.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: But let me ask you just a basic question. To
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: flip the house, you got to own the house. To
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: own the house, you got to buy the house. Now
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: when you drop out of college, I don't knowing where
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: you got the down payment.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: On your first house from. I don't know you got
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: it from somewhere. Now, let me just show you how
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: this ain't easy. Okay, flipping houses means plural? How's this?
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: How long is it going to take you to flip
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: the first one? But I need you to flip out
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: my house for.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: Us.
- 1:18:33Speaker 8: You're flipping.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: That's it, thank you, son? No easy money? Go ahead?
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: Yeah, he thinks he he wants to be on his
- 1:18:41Speaker 8: way to millions. Yeah, all right, we'll have more of
- 1:18:45Speaker 8: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: after the hour. Right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right. According to trip Advisor,

- 1:19:54Speaker 1: underbelly of Vegas.
- 1:19:55Speaker 7: Oh what is that.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: In the words of all Charles Alexander, and he taught
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: me a term that I wasn't familiar with. But I
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: live by and Vegas is a where I went to
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: participate in sin and debauchery.
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: Okay, that's why they call it very heavy.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: On the debauchery. Yeah, and we'll leave it at that,
