- 1:18Speaker 1: cp Image Award for Outstanding Talk Series. She's also the
- 1:22Speaker 1: first Latina daytime talk show host on English language station.
- 1:26Speaker 1: That's really important, very important. We understand that. Please working
- 1:30Speaker 1: with the Money Making Conversation Emmy winning co host on
- 1:33Speaker 1: The Real singer, actress and entrepreneur Adrian Holton. Hello, that
- 1:40Speaker 1: was at I'm so excited to have this conversation with you.
- 1:42Speaker 1: First of all, that intro was everything. I appreciate that. Well.
- 1:46Speaker 1: First of all, Adrian, come on night. You introduced people
- 1:48Speaker 1: on the regular basis. And now if I come on,
- 1:50Speaker 1: if I have you come on my show and just
- 1:51Speaker 1: go let me just let me just bring on the
- 1:54Speaker 1: show right now. She's a singer actor you see on
- 1:56Speaker 1: The Real Adrian Holton. That is not fair. Thank you.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I loved it. I appreciated that. Well, you deserve it.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You've had you. Here's a great thing about you is
- 2:08Speaker 1: that uh you know, you know you started at a
- 2:11Speaker 1: young age. I was saying, can we say a child Stark?
- 2:13Speaker 1: Can we say that a team Stark? What can we
- 2:15Speaker 1: say that? Yeah? I was fourteen going on fifteen when
- 2:18Speaker 1: I first got my first record deal at Sony. Yeah. Right,
- 2:21Speaker 1: And so that transition to adulthood doesn't work for a
- 2:25Speaker 1: lot of people. It doesn't work. How did you manage
- 2:29Speaker 1: that transition? Because we got a lot of things we
- 2:30Speaker 1: want to talk about, but also on this show, I'd
- 2:32Speaker 1: like to slow down so people can understand that it's
- 2:35Speaker 1: not a magic trick. It's not you walk out in
- 2:38Speaker 1: Hollywood somebody just tapped you on the shoulder, or that
- 2:41Speaker 1: like your fame happened overnight. There's a journey to you.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And I love the fact that you're not satisfied with
- 2:47Speaker 1: your current fame. You know, you're planning for the future.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But you got that first break. How did that happen?
- 2:53Speaker 1: And then also how did you because there was some
- 2:55Speaker 1: dips there, there were some dips, and then we kept
- 2:58Speaker 1: you motivated. Let's talk. I think Number one, I really
- 3:02Speaker 1: do believe in I heard Oprah say once that there
- 3:05Speaker 1: is no such thing as luck, and it is really
- 3:08Speaker 1: just preparation, preparation meeting opportunity. And my husband and I
- 3:13Speaker 1: actually just did Carnegie Hall this past Saturday. It was
- 3:15Speaker 1: like a major bucket list for us to perform there,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and um, for us, He said that his school teacher
- 3:22Speaker 1: would always sound like this was a thing like how
- 3:23Speaker 1: do you get to Carnegie Hall? And the answer was practice, practice, practice,
- 3:28Speaker 1: But UM, I really do feel that if you have
- 3:30Speaker 1: a goal in your life, I think there's even the
- 3:32Speaker 1: book that says, how many hours is it? Uh ten
- 3:35Speaker 1: thousand hours? You know, to actually that you have to
- 3:37Speaker 1: put into something until you can actually say you're an
- 3:39Speaker 1: expert at it or that you're even good at it.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And I really can say that I put in those
- 3:44Speaker 1: hours as a young girl for acting and singing and performing.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It was something that I really love to do. So
- 3:51Speaker 1: even though this is a crazy story, I was prepared
- 3:54Speaker 1: when the opportunity UH presented itself, which was I had
- 4:00Speaker 1: decided that because I didn't know anybody famous, I had
- 4:03Speaker 1: no connections to the industry, I didn't even know where
- 4:05Speaker 1: to begin, or how someone gets an audition, or any
- 4:08Speaker 1: of those things that grew up in the projects in
- 4:10Speaker 1: the lower said in Manhattan, um very humble beginnings, and
- 4:15Speaker 1: um I thought, okay, I don't even have enough money
- 4:18Speaker 1: to put together a portfolio to even audition for a
- 4:21Speaker 1: Juilliard or or those kind of um school. So I
- 4:26Speaker 1: was like, you know what I'm gonna go. I'm gonna
- 4:28Speaker 1: go into the health professions field. And we actually got
- 4:31Speaker 1: into a school uh here, the Stuyvesant Building Health Health
- 4:34Speaker 1: Professions and Human Services, and my second year there they
- 4:37Speaker 1: had to do internships. So I was just filing some
- 4:41Speaker 1: boxes and somebody walked in. I also believe in destiny
- 4:43Speaker 1: and that God has a plan and a purpose for
- 4:45Speaker 1: your life, so I think that definitely plays into it.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But a man walked in on some crutches, and I
- 4:51Speaker 1: guess he was getting some something done at the hospital.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And he literally turned to me and said, yo, ma,
- 4:56Speaker 1: you sing. I don't know if I was humming by
- 4:58Speaker 1: by the filing cabinet, but he's like, yo, moh, do
- 5:02Speaker 1: you sing? And I was like, yes, would you like
- 5:04Speaker 1: to hear a song in Spanish? I got a sound batoon,
- 5:06Speaker 1: a gospel song or a pop song? What do you
- 5:08Speaker 1: want to hear? But that's that I was ready. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: was ready. I was prepared, and um, he actually was
- 5:17Speaker 1: a person that got me in touch for my first audition,
- 5:20Speaker 1: which was for my first group, three l W. So
- 5:22Speaker 1: you're like, what the heck, what a random story. But
- 5:26Speaker 1: I was prepared. I not only was prepared for that moment,
- 5:29Speaker 1: but when I when I went into the audition, there
- 5:32Speaker 1: were tons of girls. They're auditioning for this manager who
- 5:34Speaker 1: at the time had discovered C. C. Peniston and the
- 5:37Speaker 1: singer Joe and I was ready, not only with a
- 5:40Speaker 1: song in English, but a song in Spanish. I was like,
- 5:43Speaker 1: any opportunity I was prepared for. So that's kind of
- 5:46Speaker 1: how I got my starting from three l W then
- 5:48Speaker 1: got into Cheetah Girls. From Cheetah Girls. Um, that's kind
- 5:51Speaker 1: of where, like you said, it was like, well, now
- 5:54Speaker 1: what happens? How do you transition from being a kid tween?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Uh start to now preparing for what I wanted to
- 6:02Speaker 1: do for the future. You don't forget that your role model,
- 6:07Speaker 1: Thank you. I think for me, the most important thing
- 6:13Speaker 1: with that transition was that it had to be organic,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and I think that that's where a lot of people
- 6:18Speaker 1: go wrong in their minds. They're like Okay, I'm done
- 6:20Speaker 1: with Disney Channel and now I'm gonna go show people
- 6:24Speaker 1: that I'm gonna that I'm a grown up. But that
- 6:26Speaker 1: isn't actually how the transition in real life happens. We
- 6:29Speaker 1: don't actually go from being teenagers to now suddenly we've
- 6:32Speaker 1: got adulthood and we're adult ng and we've got this down.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It doesn't really work that way, and for me, it
- 6:37Speaker 1: was important to show that transition into um be honest
- 6:42Speaker 1: about that. From I was like, okay, well, also, being
- 6:45Speaker 1: strategic and having a plan is super important. I always
- 6:47Speaker 1: tell people when you're mapping out your business or what
- 6:50Speaker 1: it is you're gonna do, you've got to have somewhat
- 6:52Speaker 1: of a plan. And my plan was thinking, okay, well,
- 6:55Speaker 1: after people watch the Disney Channel, where do they go
- 6:57Speaker 1: from there? Maybe MTV? And that was my next step.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I then ended up hosting on MTV, and for a
- 7:04Speaker 1: while there I was kind of in the space of, well,
- 7:10Speaker 1: I want to be the one in being interviewed, not
- 7:12Speaker 1: interviewing people, And I even went through that weird struggle
- 7:16Speaker 1: of like, why do people keep calling me as like
- 7:19Speaker 1: a behind like a like a personality and on air
- 7:23Speaker 1: personality I would get calls from Extra. I guess people
- 7:26Speaker 1: had seen what I did on MTV and they were like,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Extra was calling for me to do red carpet interviews.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And I would be like, but but I want to
- 7:34Speaker 1: be on the red carpet. I don't want to be
- 7:36Speaker 1: interviewing people on that. And you can even fight your
- 7:39Speaker 1: own destiny and think, well, this is not what I want,
- 7:41Speaker 1: but God somehow just kept presenting these opportunities to do
- 7:46Speaker 1: interviews Entertainment Tonight. Then I got a call that's like, well,
- 7:49Speaker 1: they're doing this talk show they're putting together of you know,
- 7:53Speaker 1: it's going to be the first of its kind, women
- 7:54Speaker 1: of color, a little bit of a younger demographic, a
- 7:58Speaker 1: little bit more hip, uh more pop culture conversations. And
- 8:02Speaker 1: I was like, well, you know what, let me just
- 8:04Speaker 1: go for it. I don't really know that this is
- 8:06Speaker 1: necessarily my plan. I love that mean that I've seen
- 8:09Speaker 1: on Instagram that's like how people think you get successful
- 8:12Speaker 1: versus how it really happened. And people think it's this
- 8:15Speaker 1: straight line from my plan from point A to point B,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and when it really is like a zig zag hot mess,
- 8:23Speaker 1: And that really is how it's been for me. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: never sought out our plan to become a talk show host,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but the opportunity kept presenting itself, and I'm like, God,
- 8:32Speaker 1: clearly you have a plan that I'm not aware of.
- 8:33Speaker 1: But here we go. And I always tell my husband
- 8:38Speaker 1: the main thing is to go where the love is.
- 8:40Speaker 1: The thing about it that stands out consistently is that
- 8:43Speaker 1: when God calls you ready h And that's that's the key.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And you're not in your fearless And that's because I
- 8:51Speaker 1: fearless is derived through preparation. Like I said, when you
- 8:55Speaker 1: say can you think yes, yes, I could say, oh
- 8:58Speaker 1: what English or Spanish? When you and an opportunity to
- 9:00Speaker 1: interview somebody, even though in your mind to a lot
- 9:03Speaker 1: of people shut down blessings because that's not what I
- 9:06Speaker 1: want exactly the way You're like, what do you mean
- 9:10Speaker 1: I'm going to be interviewing um? You know I want
- 9:13Speaker 1: to be her. I want to be him. Oh oh exactly,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I want to be the one being interviewed. Oh you're
- 9:18Speaker 1: gonna interview Miley Cyrus. Okay, but but I was on
- 9:21Speaker 1: Disney Channel too. Why isn't she interviewing me? You don't
- 9:23Speaker 1: get what I mean, Like your ego can get in
- 9:25Speaker 1: the way of that. You've got to put that aside
- 9:27Speaker 1: and recognize that it's a blessing, it's a if it's
- 9:29Speaker 1: not the door, maybe it's the window that's gonna lead
- 9:31Speaker 1: to the next place you get to. And I really
- 9:34Speaker 1: had to recognize that. I recognize, Okay, I never would
- 9:38Speaker 1: have thought, Wow, now I'm in any winning talk show
- 9:40Speaker 1: host from something as simple as interviewing people on the
- 9:43Speaker 1: red carpet. That really did open those opportunities for me.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Thank you so much. I gotta say I can say
- 9:49Speaker 1: that very honestly on the phone with Adrian Houghton. She's
- 9:52Speaker 1: a any winning as she told you from the real
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's tell you what talk short is is the real.
- 9:57Speaker 1: She's a single actress. When you come back, I want
- 9:59Speaker 1: to talk to the is this woman, I'm interviewing the businesswoman?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Right back with more money Making Conversation? Hi, This ra
- 10:09Speaker 1: Sean McDonald. As you know, I've been doing Money Making
- 10:12Speaker 1: Conversation show for a while and the guests I bring
- 10:14Speaker 1: on the show, I feel changed lives. I think if
- 10:17Speaker 1: you listen to their interview, listen to their stories, you
- 10:20Speaker 1: tell them that when I try to get out of
- 10:22Speaker 1: the stories, let you know that there's a plan when
- 10:25Speaker 1: when the opportunity presents some the selves present themselves to you,
- 10:29Speaker 1: leap forward. Don't let fear stop you, don't let the
- 10:32Speaker 1: unknown stop You allow the opportunity to to consume you
- 10:37Speaker 1: and feel jaw in that consumption. On the phone with Adrian,
- 10:40Speaker 1: you have a great show, Adrian on the show that
- 10:42Speaker 1: I uh. It's a YouTube show. It's called All Things
- 10:45Speaker 1: Adrian and the way you used to the Sublime shares
- 10:49Speaker 1: our modern day approach to entertaining, decorating, beauty and cookie.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I've seen I shows I've seen. I've seen holiday party decore.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I love the one with Queue and there with Mom
- 11:00Speaker 1: because you and they were Mama. I've seen that one
- 11:02Speaker 1: and the Bajama Party, which I think had The one
- 11:06Speaker 1: had the biggest numbers was the beach House tool. If
- 11:09Speaker 1: everybody will know your business, everybody won't know your business.
- 11:13Speaker 1: They all want to walk through my house. They walked
- 11:15Speaker 1: through my husband. I know. My husband likes to say,
- 11:19Speaker 1: you know that I was the Latino Martha Stewart, So
- 11:22Speaker 1: he would always tell me that, and I finally got approached.
- 11:24Speaker 1: A lot of people would see things that I was
- 11:26Speaker 1: doing in my house, whether it was on Instagram. I
- 11:29Speaker 1: loved putting floral arrangements together or decorated or Uh. We
- 11:33Speaker 1: would always talk about on the reel that I throw
- 11:35Speaker 1: a good party. I'm like, I love a good fiesta.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So I was approached to work with an incredible company
- 11:41Speaker 1: called King Community, who was doing something really awesome. Obviously,
- 11:45Speaker 1: everybody knew about YouTubers now becoming celebrities, and this was
- 11:49Speaker 1: a real thing. You know. You even read about the
- 11:51Speaker 1: young kid that I think is like four years old
- 11:53Speaker 1: and he's made ridiculous billions of dollars millions and he's
- 11:59Speaker 1: got two billion and followers on on YouTube. Yeah, but
- 12:02Speaker 1: it's things like that that they were really tapping into
- 12:05Speaker 1: and recognizing, Wow, this digital world is exploding. So instead
- 12:11Speaker 1: of taking YouTube people that were undiscovered and found on YouTube,
- 12:16Speaker 1: he was like, why can't we take go the opposite
- 12:19Speaker 1: direction and take celebrities and put them on YouTube? And
- 12:24Speaker 1: I was, Uh, they actually reached out to me, and
- 12:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, this is an amazing opportunity,
- 12:29Speaker 1: and I again recognize that the world is going digital. Uh.
- 12:33Speaker 1: It's sadly a lot of the people that are in
- 12:35Speaker 1: my generation and these new upcoming millennials they don't even
- 12:38Speaker 1: have televisions anymore at this point, you know, they're watching
- 12:41Speaker 1: everything on their phones. It's all Apple TV or Netflix.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They have all of these um digital streaming UH platforms instead.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So I was like, oh my gosh, it's this holy
- 12:53Speaker 1: new way to read. Even like my litt kids, I
- 12:56Speaker 1: call them, they're my step kids, but I call them
- 12:58Speaker 1: my lit kids. I was watching that they only were
- 13:01Speaker 1: watching deep on YouTube and we're obsessing about YouTubers, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: I was like, what is this? And so to be
- 13:06Speaker 1: able to get be given that opportunity was so awesome.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And we called the show All Things Adrian because we
- 13:12Speaker 1: wanted it to be limitless. Were like it wasn't limited
- 13:15Speaker 1: to one thing or the other, but that I literally
- 13:17Speaker 1: could do anything on the channel. And it really has
- 13:21Speaker 1: been awesome to see the subscribers grow, to really see
- 13:27Speaker 1: the impact that it has, and um, I've learned so
- 13:31Speaker 1: much simple things from the fact that now you can
- 13:34Speaker 1: click on a product that I'm using when I'm doing
- 13:37Speaker 1: a makeup tutorial and you can buy it at my
- 13:40Speaker 1: store right then and there there's the description line underneath
- 13:42Speaker 1: that can lead you straight to you know, renting my
- 13:45Speaker 1: maligu vacation home. There is so many new things that
- 13:50Speaker 1: can be done digitally with YouTube, and also we do
- 13:53Speaker 1: it on Facebook as well, which is just so awesome
- 13:57Speaker 1: that that really is the new platform for this new generation.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Really is you know the thing that this is what
- 14:01Speaker 1: I love talking about talking to you and listening to you.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Multiple streams of income that that that just pops out,
- 14:08Speaker 1: that pops out. And as an entrepreneur, as an entrepreneur,
- 14:11Speaker 1: when I look at these things, a lot of people
- 14:13Speaker 1: say they don't have time. How do you marry your success?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Because we're gonna talk about the jewelry line. You know,
- 14:17Speaker 1: we're talking about all things, Adrian, We're talking about being
- 14:21Speaker 1: a fantastic wife, you know what I'm saying. We're talking
- 14:24Speaker 1: about Also you still perform all these things mean there
- 14:27Speaker 1: has to be a balance. And I'm gonna tell you
- 14:29Speaker 1: something aging I failed. I failed at it and I
- 14:32Speaker 1: and I admire the fact that you figured it out.
- 14:35Speaker 1: How did you figure out? How did you figure out
- 14:38Speaker 1: that balance was necessary for you to be successful? Well,
- 14:41Speaker 1: I'm literally sitting right now in workout close in New
- 14:46Speaker 1: York City at a hotel. My husband is sitting right
- 14:48Speaker 1: next to me. He's handling work on his phone and
- 14:51Speaker 1: we're gonna get ready to go to the gym in
- 14:52Speaker 1: a second. But I think it really is number one
- 14:56Speaker 1: for me. My family comes first and I recognize that,
- 15:00Speaker 1: and it's about working smarter, not working harder. And that
- 15:04Speaker 1: was the first thing that my husband and I spoke
- 15:06Speaker 1: about with what what was that we wanted for our future.
- 15:09Speaker 1: He's accomplished so much in his career and you know,
- 15:12Speaker 1: somebody may look at mine and be like, oh, you're
- 15:14Speaker 1: set as well, But for me, it's more so the
- 15:17Speaker 1: idea of in these next coming years, what am I
- 15:19Speaker 1: gonna do that is going to sustain not just myself
- 15:22Speaker 1: but my family, my legacy, and how can I work
- 15:25Speaker 1: smarter versus working harder? So something as simple as choosing
- 15:31Speaker 1: to do all things Adrian, I shoot it in my house.
- 15:33Speaker 1: What does that allow That allows for me to be home,
- 15:35Speaker 1: That allows for me to hang out with my husband
- 15:38Speaker 1: in between takes, That allows for me to um decide
- 15:44Speaker 1: to be one number one, to be authentic because I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: actually in my home, but to to allow um them
- 15:51Speaker 1: to be a part of my world versus me having
- 15:53Speaker 1: to leave my home and do things. So that's one
- 15:55Speaker 1: way I think that's just awesome and it actually helps
- 15:59Speaker 1: uh for to see into my real life and that
- 16:01Speaker 1: in itself helps my my brand. So you were so
- 16:05Speaker 1: you would approach your approach to do the YouTube show
- 16:08Speaker 1: okay over had an option option whether or not I
- 16:12Speaker 1: would want to rent another place to shoot it, or
- 16:15Speaker 1: I come do it in my house. Keep it real,
- 16:20Speaker 1: keep it real. He's he's a great thing about that.
- 16:22Speaker 1: You know she was offered a singing opportunity. You know,
- 16:25Speaker 1: it's it's an aura of good about you that I
- 16:28Speaker 1: feel that we needed. We need to back up and
- 16:31Speaker 1: mention because some people are n't approachable. I know some
- 16:34Speaker 1: people would tell me we should you man, there, look, man,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I just got one of the faces if if I'm not,
- 16:40Speaker 1: if I'm not, if I'm been sitting on what people thinking. Boy,
- 16:42Speaker 1: he's been like going and talking Rochelle. He don't look
- 16:44Speaker 1: like he having a good day, you know what I'm saying.
- 16:46Speaker 1: And so so you have first of all in the
- 16:48Speaker 1: approachable look and then when and then when you when
- 16:50Speaker 1: you approached, you ready, you know it's not you know
- 16:52Speaker 1: you you're ready to count down the opportunity like you
- 16:56Speaker 1: offered that the real you know your audition for that.
- 16:59Speaker 1: The YouTube show O your audition for that, and in
- 17:02Speaker 1: the audition they gave it to you because they want
- 17:03Speaker 1: to do celebrities versus are no talents. Is hey, let's
- 17:06Speaker 1: make it work. Let's do it backwards. Let's take a
- 17:08Speaker 1: star and then build her brand and you go, that's
- 17:11Speaker 1: what I want to phob and put her on YouTube. Yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 1: there were futubers that were trying to get to TV,
- 17:16Speaker 1: but they didn't realize that the future is is digital networking.
- 17:21Speaker 1: And I think again, it is about saying yes, saying
- 17:25Speaker 1: yes to the opportunities, not being afraid, being fearless, being approachable.
- 17:29Speaker 1: All of those things definitely go into making a great
- 17:32Speaker 1: business venture. But I also think you said making the time.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I truly believe that if you want to do something,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you will find the time to make it happen. But
- 17:42Speaker 1: for me, the best way to be able to do
- 17:44Speaker 1: all these things is to create a brand. Like I'm
- 17:47Speaker 1: looking towards the future and actually starting a family with
- 17:50Speaker 1: my husband as well, you know, growing our family, and
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm like, what can I do? What is the space
- 17:55Speaker 1: that I can enter in that allows me to be
- 17:59Speaker 1: creative still to do the things that I love to do,
- 18:01Speaker 1: but at the same time involved my family so that
- 18:03Speaker 1: I can spend more time with them. I want my
- 18:05Speaker 1: audience that you know, if it maybe the next thing
- 18:09Speaker 1: is you know, doing something that is family based, that
- 18:12Speaker 1: is home based. That's what all things Adrian is about.
- 18:14Speaker 1: And I love that I can share my family and
- 18:16Speaker 1: my home. Walt cameras are running and that helps me.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Now where the jewelry line steps in was that had
- 18:22Speaker 1: always been a dream for me. Again, that incorporates my
- 18:26Speaker 1: family because it is I launched the jewelry line. It's
- 18:29Speaker 1: called x I x I and it launched on eleven eleven,
- 18:34Speaker 1: which is what the Roman numerals stand for. And um,
- 18:38Speaker 1: my first collection from the line was called Faith and
- 18:40Speaker 1: by Media and that in itself again celebrates my faith,
- 18:44Speaker 1: It celebrates my family. And we created replicas of the
- 18:47Speaker 1: pieces that were given to me as a child, that
- 18:49Speaker 1: were hand down to me from praying hands, necklaces and
- 18:53Speaker 1: uh these pendants and cross earrings and this kind of
- 18:58Speaker 1: the things that I grew up wearing. I grew up,
- 19:00Speaker 1: like I said, in the Lower East Side. There's like
- 19:02Speaker 1: tons of Julie stores on the Lancey Street and it
- 19:05Speaker 1: really reflects who I am my upbringing, and that's kind
- 19:10Speaker 1: of the brand and building that and again that allows
- 19:12Speaker 1: me to still be a great wife, a great lit
- 19:15Speaker 1: mom to my my lit kids and and and really
- 19:18Speaker 1: make it about a family. Even now, I'm in the
- 19:21Speaker 1: talks about possibly creating a fashion line. I know it's
- 19:26Speaker 1: like it never stops, right, but it can't stop. I'm
- 19:30Speaker 1: gonna tell you some once you'd be giving an opportunity
- 19:32Speaker 1: and you the light turned on in your brain. It
- 19:35Speaker 1: turned on, and you get what You're not gonna let
- 19:37Speaker 1: it go? Damn. You know, give me an opportunity. I'm
- 19:39Speaker 1: gonna show you. But it's all it's all professionally done though.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You know, you're not jumping out there without a plane.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You're not jumping out there saying, hey, throw me a bone,
- 19:47Speaker 1: and I just start knowing on you gonna say, hey,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I don't do bones. I don't do bones, you know.
- 19:53Speaker 1: In that case, you know, with the jewelry line, I
- 19:55Speaker 1: brought on my oldest LIT daughter, Mariah, She's one of
- 19:58Speaker 1: the creative directors with the jewelry line with me, and
- 20:01Speaker 1: that's what it's about. It's also creating family and that
- 20:04Speaker 1: allows us to bond doing something She'll also be helping
- 20:07Speaker 1: me with the fashion stuff that I'm working towards, but
- 20:10Speaker 1: us taking trips to Hong Kong as a family. I'm
- 20:12Speaker 1: I'm always thinking about how can I work and do
- 20:15Speaker 1: things that we're creative and that we're passionate about, but
- 20:17Speaker 1: how can we do them together? Awesome? So even where
- 20:21Speaker 1: music is involved, you know, I love singing well, my
- 20:24Speaker 1: husband sayings, let me do that with him, and I
- 20:26Speaker 1: love that we kind of do this collaborative effort as
- 20:29Speaker 1: a family, And for me, that's what it's all about.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I'm a Jameson. Um. You know I love Londy Love
- 20:34Speaker 1: on the show. Uh nine years tomorrow, Uh sister sister,
- 20:39Speaker 1: so I got history with her. Now I got a
- 20:41Speaker 1: third one that I love on the show. I want
- 20:44Speaker 1: to thank you for coming on the show. Do let
- 20:45Speaker 1: me do a favor. Let me imp you happy. First,
- 20:47Speaker 1: I got a I got a fan club with over
- 20:48Speaker 1: toy and fifty club members. To me a banner so
- 20:51Speaker 1: I can promote your jewelry line. I got social media.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You can get it at shop x I XI dot com.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Everything is available there. We're actually launching something really special
- 20:59Speaker 1: for Christmas, so it'll be awesome. So soon they bannered
- 21:03Speaker 1: to me so I can take care of you. You
- 21:04Speaker 1: stay strong and tell your husband I know him from
