- 0:15Speaker 1: be a truly magnificent region. I believe that so strongly.
- 0:20Speaker 1: This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
- 0:23Speaker 2: This is a forty seven Morning Update special edition with
- 0:26Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson.
- 0:27Speaker 3: There is no other way to describe it but a story,
- 0:30Speaker 3: a Middle East piece deal, President Donald Trump describing as
- 0:35Speaker 3: prayers of millions have finally been answered with the signing
- 0:39Speaker 3: of the peace agreement. Now, there is a lot that
- 0:43Speaker 3: has happened in the last twenty four hours, and this
- 0:47Speaker 3: is the part that most are celebrating. Hamas released the
- 0:52Speaker 3: final twenty living Israeli hostages that have been held since
- 0:56Speaker 3: October seventh of twenty twenty three, many of them underground
- 1:02Speaker 3: the entire time. What we also know is we have
- 1:06Speaker 3: witnessed and seen the homecoming play out on TV and
- 1:12Speaker 3: social media. Families prayer fully crying, celebrating in tears without
- 1:20Speaker 3: words describe what it's like to see a loved one
- 1:23Speaker 3: they thought they may never see again. What happened in
- 1:27Speaker 3: exchanged is also important. Israel released one thousand, nine hundred
- 1:33Speaker 3: palace and entertainees and prisoners, including many who had life
- 1:38Speaker 3: sentences for their atroses against the Jewish people. We also
- 1:44Speaker 3: know that the bodies of some of the diseased hostages
- 1:46Speaker 3: are also being returned. At least fore caskets have made
- 1:51Speaker 3: it back to Israel. The exchange is part of a
- 1:55Speaker 3: broader ceasefire, a peace steel framework often referred to as
- 2:00Speaker 3: Trump's twenty point Plan, that was agreed earlier this month,
- 2:05Speaker 3: and under the deal, Israel is to partially withdraw troops
- 2:09Speaker 3: from Gaza to his designated line, while retaining control over
- 2:15Speaker 3: certain security zones, at least initially now. The plan envisions
- 2:20Speaker 3: handing over administration of Gaza to a body of technocrats
- 2:25Speaker 3: rather than Hamas directly, with oversight by international guaranteers. The
- 2:31Speaker 3: deal also calls for disarmament of Hamas, or at least
- 2:34Speaker 3: their relinquishment of overt military control, as a condition of
- 2:41Speaker 3: long term peace. A humanitarian aid push into Gaza is
- 2:45Speaker 3: also part of the agreement, with large scale deliveries planned
- 2:49Speaker 3: during the ceasefire period. Now a board Air Force one
- 2:53Speaker 3: en route to Israel Trump declared the war is over,
- 2:57Speaker 3: and in his address to Israel's parliament, Trump framed the
- 3:01Speaker 3: release of the hostages as a quote new beginning for
- 3:04Speaker 3: the Middle East and stress that the deal is historic.
- 3:08Speaker 3: He also reaffirms US commitment to prevent renewed war, saying
- 3:13Speaker 3: he would uphold the cease fire and not allow hostilities
- 3:16Speaker 3: to resume. Trump also joked about pardoning the Israeli Prime
- 3:21Speaker 3: Minister in yet Yahoo and said he would fight for
- 3:24Speaker 3: whoever it may be to preserve peace. He thinked those involved,
- 3:29Speaker 3: including Middle Eastern mediators, and push the twenty point piece
- 3:34Speaker 3: plan as the path forward. Every so often, something happens
- 3:39Speaker 3: that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are. We
- 3:42Speaker 3: can't afford to take our rights for granted. We must

- 5:17Speaker 3: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ben forty seven or nine
- 5:23Speaker 3: seven to two Patriot, and make the switch today. The present,
- 5:28Speaker 3: in his own words, had this to say at the signing.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Take a listen It's a tremendous day for the Middle East.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And you can see that this is probably the greatest
- 5:40Speaker 1: assemblage of countries in terms of wealth and power, maybe
- 5:44Speaker 1: ever assembled, and it's just an honored part of it.
- 5:48Speaker 1: We're going to be signing a document that's going to
- 5:51Speaker 1: spell out of lot of rules and regulations and lots
- 5:55Speaker 1: of other things, and it's very comprehensive. But we've already
- 6:00Speaker 1: signed documents in the Middle East and having to do
- 6:02Speaker 1: with Israel and Hamas and just about everything else. And
- 6:06Speaker 1: it's really working out incredibly well. The hostages, as you know,
- 6:11Speaker 1: were let go on time, on schedule. The very sad
- 6:17Speaker 1: situation of bodies, which was always a sad situation, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: they're being sought out and they're working with many different
- 6:25Speaker 1: people finding some were brought in and some were not,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and they're working out to find out where those bodies are.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's hard to believe that you even have to say
- 6:34Speaker 1: something like that. It's so sad, it's so sad. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: what's not said is that we have finally after I
- 6:41Speaker 1: guess they say three thousand years. I've heard from three
- 6:43Speaker 1: thousand years to five hundred years. But whatever it is,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it's a lot, but this was the one. This was
- 6:50Speaker 1: the granddaddy of them all, and frankly, I thought this
- 6:53Speaker 1: was probably going to be the toughest, and maybe in
- 6:56Speaker 1: many ways it was. But we had a lot of
- 6:57Speaker 1: good talent. Steve Whitcoff, Jared and Marco and Pete and
- 7:04Speaker 1: General Caine was so great. John Ratcliffe was incredible. We
- 7:09Speaker 1: had an amazing array.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Of talent, an amazing array of talent that was able
- 7:15Speaker 3: to bring all of this to reality. There was even
- 7:18Speaker 3: a shocking moment that happened in this country as the media, yes,
- 7:24Speaker 3: even some Democrats surprisingly giving Donald Trump credit for the
- 7:29Speaker 3: Gaza deal. One of those was Hillary Clinton, and here
- 7:34Speaker 3: is what she said.
- 7:36Speaker 4: It's a really significant first step. And I really commend
- 7:42Speaker 4: President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab leaders
- 7:48Speaker 4: in the region for making the commitment to the twenty
- 7:53Speaker 4: point plan and seeing a path forward for what's often
- 7:58Speaker 4: called the day after. Most importantly, the conflict hopefully will
- 8:05Speaker 4: end with the ceasefire, the hostages will be returned, and
- 8:10Speaker 4: then the very hard work of rebuilding Gaza, of finding
- 8:15Speaker 4: the kind of security that Israel and the Palestinians after
- 8:20Speaker 4: Hamas deserved to have. Moving forward with the other points
- 8:24Speaker 4: in the plan to try to create an opportunity for
- 8:29Speaker 4: Palestinians to have a better life and for Israel to
- 8:33Speaker 4: have greater peace and security. I am very hopeful that
- 8:38Speaker 4: we'll be able to see progress. Today's a good start,
- 8:42Speaker 4: but we have to keep going from here.
- 8:44Speaker 3: You can hear Hillary Clinton giving this type of gratitude
- 8:48Speaker 3: for the leadership of President Donald Trump doing something that
- 8:52Speaker 3: Joe Biden's team never got close to doing. And that's
- 8:55Speaker 3: not all the CBS Evening News opening their newscasts saying
- 9:00Speaker 3: this about President Trump.
- 9:02Speaker 5: There is more hope for peace in the Middle East
- 9:05Speaker 5: tonight than there has been in a very long time.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Hamas today released the last of the surviving Israelis held
- 9:11Speaker 5: hostage since October seventh, twenty twenty three, and Israel in
- 9:15Speaker 5: turn freed hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
- 9:19Speaker 6: This is the first phase of the Trump peace Plan,
- 9:21Speaker 6: but remember it is a twenty point plan and there's
- 9:24Speaker 6: still a long way to go. The President was in
- 9:27Speaker 6: Israel today meeting with families of the now free hostages
- 9:30Speaker 6: and addressing the Kanesset.
- 9:32Speaker 5: The President said the long nightmare for Israelis and Palestinians
- 9:36Speaker 5: is over now, he said. It is time to turn
- 9:39Speaker 5: the battlefield victories against terrorists into the ultimate prize, peace
- 9:44Speaker 5: and prosperity for the entire Middle East.
- 9:46Speaker 6: Mister Trump then traveled to Egypt to sign the peace
- 9:49Speaker 6: deal and hold a summit on the future of Gaza
- 9:51Speaker 6: and the region.
- 9:52Speaker 7: It's been a day of dramatic split screen moments, and
- 9:54Speaker 7: none more so than the sight of President Trump addressing
- 9:57Speaker 7: the Israeli Parliament at the final moment, as of final
- 10:00Speaker 7: hostages crossed out of Gaza and AID trucks rolled freely
- 10:04Speaker 7: into Gaza. The result was, after two years now a
- 10:08Speaker 7: brutal war, the unmistakable hope, the feeling in the air
- 10:11Speaker 7: that something big had finally changed.
- 10:15Speaker 3: You listen to that news report. That is honest reporting.
- 10:19Speaker 3: And that wasn't the only praise the President received, as
- 10:22Speaker 3: even those in the media that can't stand him could
- 10:25Speaker 3: not overlook the significance of his leadership bringing peace to
- 10:30Speaker 3: the Middle East.
- 10:31Speaker 5: This was very much a peacemaker's speech.
- 10:33Speaker 8: Do you give him credit for this? Certainly?
- 10:35Speaker 5: I mean, this is an incredible accomplishment, an incredible moment.
- 10:39Speaker 5: It's a terrific day for the hostage families.
- 10:42Speaker 6: It's a terrific day for President Trump for our national interests.
- 10:47Speaker 8: He should get a lot of credit. I mean, this
- 10:49Speaker 8: was his deal.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He worked this out.
- 10:52Speaker 8: Listen, he got the deal across the finish line.
- 10:54Speaker 2: There's no question things seem.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Sort of possible now in a way that they didn't
- 10:58Speaker 5: necessarily before.
- 10:59Speaker 8: A better future ahead.
- 11:01Speaker 7: That's what today represented. It was so so powerful and
- 11:04Speaker 7: unbelievably emotional.
- 11:05Speaker 3: You listen to those members of the media, those commentators
- 11:09Speaker 3: giving credit on networks that never give Donald Trump credit,
- 11:13Speaker 3: and it puts in a perspective just how significant this
- 11:16Speaker 3: moment actually is. Donald Trump's historic peace deal. On NBC,
- 11:22Speaker 3: they covered it this way.
- 11:24Speaker 8: From the moment he landed in Israel, the words thank
- 11:26Speaker 8: you visible from Air Force one and billboard to your
- 11:29Speaker 8: expressing gratitude. President Trump basted in the praise of a
- 11:32Speaker 8: country that credits him more than its own prime minister
- 11:35Speaker 8: for today's long awaited reunions, the President's name echoing through
- 11:41Speaker 8: Israel's parliament as he touted his landmark diplomatic success.
- 11:45Speaker 1: This is the end of the age of terror and death.
- 11:48Speaker 1: This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
- 11:52Speaker 8: Netta, Yahoo, praising his American ally, Donald Trump is.
- 11:57Speaker 7: The greatest friend that the state of his has ever
- 12:01Speaker 7: had in.
- 12:01Speaker 8: The White House. Going off script, the President called on
- 12:04Speaker 8: his Israeli counterpart to pardon Netan Yahoo, who was indicted
- 12:08Speaker 8: for allegedly accepting expensive gifts, which he denies.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Cigars and Champagne, who the hell cares about it.
- 12:16Speaker 8: The present, then heading to Egypt for a peace signing
- 12:19Speaker 8: ceremony with Arab nations and other world leaders who backed
- 12:23Speaker 8: the deal.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Peace has been achieved after untoiding efforts, efforts led by
- 12:31Speaker 1: President Trump.
- 12:32Speaker 3: His landmark diplomatic success. How NBC News described it as
- 12:37Speaker 3: for what the rest of the world is thinking. Net
- 12:40Speaker 3: and Yahoo praising the deal, defending Israel's conduct over the war,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and express relief and joy over the hostages return. At
- 12:49Speaker 3: the summit held in Egypt, over twenty world leaders, including
- 12:53Speaker 3: the Egyptian president, joined with Trump to endorse the ceasefire
- 12:57Speaker 3: as well as the postwar plan, and as a part
- 13:00Speaker 3: of that, several countries committed to being guaranteurs of the agreement,
- 13:05Speaker 3: the US, Egypt, Kutar, and Turkey overseeing security and reconstruction
- 13:10Speaker 3: in Gaza. The French president called for progress towards a
- 13:14Speaker 3: two state solution and announced plans for a humanitarian aid
- 13:17Speaker 3: conference for Gaza. Overall, many nations welcome the deal they
- 13:22Speaker 3: thought was impossible as a vital step towards peace, and
- 13:26Speaker 3: many of them said it's time now to get the
- 13:28Speaker 3: real work done for Gaza disarmament, security and reconstruction. If
- 13:34Speaker 3: you just step back and you look at what President
- 13:37Speaker 3: Trump was able to do, there is no doubt. As
- 13:40Speaker 3: NBC News put it, Trump's historic peace deal. It is
- 13:44Speaker 3: his landmark diplomatic success and it's no telling how many
- 13:49Speaker 3: lives will be saved because of Donald Trump's leadership.
