- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like the milling bus things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not me through good Steve to mother, please don't join jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn run. You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn, got to turn them out to
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Y'all, come come on your baby,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will for a good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, come on, dig me now. One and only.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Oh man, Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 1: got a radio show because God. Because God is simply amazing,
- 2:17Speaker 1: Because God is off the chain, because God is over
- 2:21Speaker 1: the top, because God is all that in a bag
- 2:24Speaker 1: of chips. God is amazing. Man. God will take you
- 2:28Speaker 1: places that you never ever thought you would go. Oh
- 2:32Speaker 1: you know what. It sometimes it amazes me when I'm
- 2:35Speaker 1: watching all people talk about themselves and their careers and
- 2:39Speaker 1: where they're adding life and things and they and I
- 2:43Speaker 1: hear people say, you know, always dreamed of being him.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You know, I can understand when a person says that
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've always dreamed of something like this would happen. To me,
- 2:53Speaker 1: But I want you to think about that for a second.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Did you really see it like that though? Did you
- 3:02Speaker 1: really really see it just like that? Did you really
- 3:09Speaker 1: know that God was gonna bring you through all he
- 3:12Speaker 1: bought you through to get you to this place? Did
- 3:16Speaker 1: you know that, in spite of the losses along the
- 3:19Speaker 1: way that would crumble the average person, that somehow He
- 3:23Speaker 1: kept you through it all and that's how you got here?
- 3:27Speaker 1: Did you think of you know? I mean, you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know? I mean, since you're so busy talking about
- 3:32Speaker 1: yourself now, have you forgotten all the times He was
- 3:37Speaker 1: bringing you through when you didn't see no way that
- 3:40Speaker 1: you was gonna get through? Do you remember that? So
- 3:44Speaker 1: when you sit there and you say, I dreamed of this,
- 3:48Speaker 1: this is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, or real
- 3:55Speaker 1: close inventory of your life and you look back on
- 3:58Speaker 1: it all, stop looking at the moment right now, remember
- 4:01Speaker 1: where you come from. See, that's what gets me emotional sometimes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: that's what makes me tear up, because when something is
- 4:08Speaker 1: happening to me in the moment, it ain't the moment
- 4:11Speaker 1: for me. It's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's the recollection of all the things, all the nights,
- 4:20Speaker 1: all the days in that car, all the times by
- 4:24Speaker 1: myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna make it.
- 4:27Speaker 1: But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing out on
- 4:30Speaker 1: the ward to me or somebody calling my name, that's that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then?
- 4:38Speaker 1: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 1: I always dreamed of? Did you really think in those
- 4:43Speaker 1: moments right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:46Speaker 1: That's why I try to I try to give people
- 4:48Speaker 1: to understand, you know, and and and and this is
- 4:51Speaker 1: kind of for young people today what I'm about to say.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But then guess what I sometimes I have to remind
- 4:57Speaker 1: myself of it. So I guess it's still kind of
- 4:59Speaker 1: for everybody, you know, because I work with a lot
- 5:02Speaker 1: of young people, and so many times, man, young people
- 5:05Speaker 1: just don't understand what all it takes. And I know,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and if you're a full grown a dot, if you're forty,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you you really understanding where I'm coming from, because you
- 5:17Speaker 1: know it's listen to me, young people or anybody that
- 5:23Speaker 1: don't understand this, that you got to do some things
- 5:26Speaker 1: that you don't want to do. In order to do
- 5:30Speaker 1: what you want to do, you have to understand this
- 5:33Speaker 1: principle of success or else you are not going to
- 5:36Speaker 1: become successful. I got what you want to do. I
- 5:41Speaker 1: got your ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other?
- 5:44Speaker 1: I got all of that. But in the meantime, though,
- 5:48Speaker 1: there are some necessary steps that you have to take
- 5:51Speaker 1: in order to become successful, and you cannot skip these steps.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You can't jump over these steps just because you want
- 5:58Speaker 1: to be rich, Friday, I got that. I got that.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Everybody got that. But if you want this whatever you're
- 6:06Speaker 1: talking about, whether it's money or success or fame or
- 6:10Speaker 1: climbing the corporate letter or this is the position or
- 6:12Speaker 1: you all, that's fine, and Danny, please hold on to
- 6:16Speaker 1: your dreams. Dreams come true. But in the meantime, let
- 6:22Speaker 1: me remind you of something that you gotta do some
- 6:25Speaker 1: things you don't want to do in order to do
- 6:28Speaker 1: what you want to do. Let's say you want to
- 6:31Speaker 1: be rich and famous. Let's just say that's it for you.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Let's sit there. It's a lot of other ways of
- 6:36Speaker 1: being successful. Please don't think that's the only one. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm just saying, let's just say yours is rich and famous,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and let's say some miraculous way God made you rich
- 6:45Speaker 1: and famous. Next Friday, you rich and you famous? Next Friday?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Can I share something with you? This is not going
- 6:55Speaker 1: to last for you. You know why because you have
- 6:58Speaker 1: not done the things that's necessary. You have not done
- 7:03Speaker 1: the things that you have to do in order to
- 7:06Speaker 1: do the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:10Speaker 1: how you gonna know how to budget money? How are
- 7:14Speaker 1: you gonna know how to get up and keep clawing
- 7:16Speaker 1: towards the top when you fall off your pedestal. See,
- 7:20Speaker 1: it's so many things you got to know about something,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and you think, because it's what you want right now,
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's supposed to happen just now. It's a process. When
- 7:29Speaker 1: you ask God for something, Please know, God know the process.
- 7:34Speaker 1: He knows the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:37Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:40Speaker 1: true right now? Man? You know you know I think
- 7:46Speaker 1: the best way y'all is for me. I just use
- 7:48Speaker 1: myself as an example. I really do understand why God
- 7:51Speaker 1: has given me the life he's giving me so far.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I understand it. Being a homeless. Part Now I get
- 7:57Speaker 1: to not being successful when I want it to. Part Now,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I get it. I got the delayed entry into the
- 8:03Speaker 1: field of choice for myself. I got it now. I've
- 8:07Speaker 1: been wanting to be on TV and a little comedian
- 8:09Speaker 1: since I was nine years old. But guess what, I
- 8:12Speaker 1: didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see
- 8:15Speaker 1: I didn't get it then I was mad at God.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You know what I won't I'm sending them here here.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I got exactly what you want, But I got this process.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:25Speaker 1: because see I'm fit to take you somewhere. You don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: know nothing, but one day you're gonna have a radio
- 8:29Speaker 1: show with You're a little stupid behind. You don't know
- 8:31Speaker 1: this yet. I'm gonna bless you with a radio show.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You don't even know it. That's why I say every morning,
- 8:36Speaker 1: Steven Harvey got a radio show because see I didn't.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I didn't see this one coming. But see God had
- 8:41Speaker 1: a plan for me. It was in the blueprint of
- 8:43Speaker 1: my life. So God said, what I'm gonna do is
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna make your life a little rough for you.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit. I'm I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions you
- 8:54Speaker 1: wanna make it. I'm gonna make you learn from them.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna let you be homeless for a little while.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you not get into your field of
- 9:02Speaker 1: choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talking
- 9:05Speaker 1: about if we had only seen him when he was younger.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let you get your first can your
- 9:09Speaker 1: name till your thirty eight. I'm gonna make you go
- 9:12Speaker 1: through some things because one day I'm gonna put a
- 9:14Speaker 1: microphone in front of your mouth, and I want you
- 9:17Speaker 1: to honor me. I want you to talk about me.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I want you to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:25Speaker 1: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:27Speaker 1: minute and I turned your life around for you. That's
- 9:30Speaker 1: God dealing with me. See, So now I finally understand
- 9:35Speaker 1: why I went through the life I went through, so
- 9:37Speaker 1: I can have something to say. See, I ain't over
- 9:40Speaker 1: here telling you about what I think a happened. I'm
- 9:43Speaker 1: telling you what I know can happen. That God does
- 9:46Speaker 1: make dreams come true. But sometimes it take a minute.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Sometimes you're gonna have to do some things you don't
- 9:51Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want
- 9:54Speaker 1: to do. All right, all that you, I'm gonna be
- 9:56Speaker 1: tripping a day. You're listening morning show ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: let's have it. You know what I'm talking about, your
- 10:06Speaker 1: undivided attention, Steve Harvey, Marty showing live. When I say live,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I mean L I V E. Live. All is for living,
- 10:18Speaker 1: because that's what we are. I it's for ignorant. It's
- 10:23Speaker 1: what we're gonna be. V is for victory, is what
- 10:27Speaker 1: we want to win. Is is for everybody. Put that again,
- 10:34Speaker 1: that that's what's called alcromy. You know what I mean.
- 10:40Speaker 1: That's a that's an alcronym. That's that's that's a word
- 10:43Speaker 1: you say, but it acts like it's some melf. I
- 10:46Speaker 1: wanted to call it an alcroemy. Yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Let the word be told and let what you're told
- 10:54Speaker 1: be the word. Um, how that's girl. You better preve
- 11:00Speaker 1: ever been to a church for the preacher and the
- 11:03Speaker 1: deacon be jacking him up, But he don't really be
- 11:05Speaker 1: saying nothing. I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you
- 11:10Speaker 1: about goodness. You want to hear about goodness? Shockly it's
- 11:15Speaker 1: good two words. Good means hummy and next means it's
- 11:25Speaker 1: all in a group. In the words of my favorite
- 11:34Speaker 1: poet of all time. Oh no, no, no, not Angela
- 11:38Speaker 1: mine or I ain't talking about Jamie Brown. Oh no, no, no,
- 11:44Speaker 1: who is I'm talking about? Come on, Pastor Tupac. In
- 11:53Speaker 1: the words of Tupac, I get a round. You know
- 12:01Speaker 1: that you know? Tell me how do you want it?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Come on, I'm preaching now, preaching now. In the words
- 12:14Speaker 1: of another great poet, Deacon Q, I used to be exact,
- 12:22Speaker 1: Cady phone you love. Yes. In the words Jane Brown,
- 12:29Speaker 1: talking loud and saying nothing, Amen, the church said, man, yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: Amen again, what is the correction you want? Sister or
- 12:44Speaker 1: California early on announcement? What is it good California Love.
- 12:49Speaker 1: That's the book of doctor Drew. Amen. Amen, Oh really, yeah, Well,
- 12:57Speaker 1: let the church say this right here. Yes. In the
- 13:01Speaker 1: words of Roscoe Wallace, you don't know that you weren't there,
- 13:08Speaker 1: Aran Strawberry, good morning to you, Pastor Calin for real,

- 13:30Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 13:34Speaker 1: to Steven Show. All right, Steve. Fourth of July right
- 13:38Speaker 1: around the corner, the biggest summer holiday of the year,
- 13:42Speaker 1: I guess you can say so. I wanted to ask
- 13:44Speaker 1: the guys, what's the worst, I mean, the absolute worst
- 13:48Speaker 1: barbecue experience you've ever had, whether it be at a barbecue,
- 13:51Speaker 1: a family reunion, some sort of celebration. I don't have
- 13:54Speaker 1: a worst. I have a series of things you want
- 13:59Speaker 1: to Yeah, I got, wait, we all got. We just
- 14:05Speaker 1: go down to the ill. Go down this real quick.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Though A boy called me up. He said, hey man,
- 14:10Speaker 1: we're going over to this barbecue. My boy, barbecue man,
- 14:12Speaker 1: he's off the chain. I get over there to his house.
- 14:16Speaker 1: When he took that lead off, that old smoking wieners
- 14:20Speaker 1: and hamburger pants, there was no barbecue EXACTECU. Now it's
- 14:26Speaker 1: bread buzz over there. I'm a grown ass man. Though
- 14:31Speaker 1: I didn't eat all day. Its two o'clock. I came
- 14:35Speaker 1: over here to eat barbecuill. But he only ain't got
- 14:37Speaker 1: the spatula, pushing the meat down like he doing something
- 14:42Speaker 1: gonna kill this right here? Man, I was so damned
- 14:44Speaker 1: disappointed me. So I go home with a fraternity brother.
- 14:54Speaker 1: This is I'm in college. I go home a praternity
- 14:55Speaker 1: brother for the Fourth of July. They cooking out everything,
- 14:59Speaker 1: smell google look good. I'm like cool. He loaded my
- 15:02Speaker 1: plate up, I got your straight tea. Here you go. Man,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm eating and I'm eating. And then his uncle come
- 15:10Speaker 1: over and say, how you like that coon? I said
- 15:13Speaker 1: what I said? I smoked that coon all night. Last. Man,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I my frat brothers raccoons. Yes, you know this man
- 15:29Speaker 1: keeps some. But Tommy, it didn't look different. You know what?
- 15:34Speaker 1: It has sauce on it? Always a questionable last, that's
- 15:43Speaker 1: for real what I had a fight right there. If
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, I'm not eating it.
- 15:57Speaker 1: If they get famous for Bobby, this ain't in a
- 16:01Speaker 1: state Saint Rendezvous, the Commissary. This ain't gates, This ain't
- 16:07Speaker 1: this ain't blood souls, This ain't whitten molds. What where
- 16:12Speaker 1: would come from? Man? How did it taste? Tommy? Though
- 16:17Speaker 1: you ain't know what it has some sauce on I
- 16:19Speaker 1: kept eating. I was like, this ain't good band that,
- 16:24Speaker 1: But the fact that he didn't tell me that just
- 16:26Speaker 1: made me hot. All right, here here we go. I
- 16:30Speaker 1: want to just go on and talk about the one
- 16:32Speaker 1: or the worst bob Q we been at and I
- 16:34Speaker 1: have a serious routine. Will forever call her that is
- 16:40Speaker 1: that nice thought she hated. Didn't nice for her to
- 16:43Speaker 1: hate me. But two don't make it right. I'm not
- 16:48Speaker 1: Michelle Obama ever made it a lot of my jokes
- 16:58Speaker 1: was gonna get about here. Okay, Well, can I start
- 17:01Speaker 1: with white? That she hate you as a little boy
- 17:03Speaker 1: because I studied, and she will send me to the
- 17:06Speaker 1: stove and I take too long, so she would give
- 17:09Speaker 1: ever any one the boys and nickel to go to
- 17:11Speaker 1: stove for she would never give me the nickel because
- 17:14Speaker 1: I ain't got all day. While y'all look stupid ass
- 17:16Speaker 1: down there trying to get the bread out of your mind.
- 17:22Speaker 1: You fat, you nasty. You need makeups right now. I
- 17:32Speaker 1: used to couldn't stand h So that's why I can't
- 17:34Speaker 1: stand all the time, even when I stopped study. Well,
- 17:38Speaker 1: I wonder when you're gonna quit being stupid? Dam I
- 17:41Speaker 1: had speech impediment. I ain't stupid, my cousin, Charles, he's stupid,
- 17:47Speaker 1: your damn son, he's stupid hen juvenile detention as we speak.
- 17:53Speaker 1: How smart his ass? Oh man, that's why you didn't
- 17:59Speaker 1: like it. And she didn't like when the family first
- 18:03Speaker 1: came to my first comedy club. So she just had
- 18:10Speaker 1: no love for little So this was she made. She
- 18:14Speaker 1: prided herself on her potato set. Let me tell you something,
- 18:20Speaker 1: everybody came. First of all, this woman put it heavy,
- 18:25Speaker 1: heavy mustard in it. I've had it with a little mustard,
- 18:29Speaker 1: t but heavy mustard, no damn mail. So you got
- 18:34Speaker 1: no damn mail, heavy mustard. Now you know how you
- 18:39Speaker 1: cut little cubes up in the potatoes? Yeah, the same size.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Now did she sprinkle a whole bunch of celery seeds
- 18:46Speaker 1: in it? The little bitty seal stand Now, the celery
- 18:52Speaker 1: chunks and the potato chunks and the carrot chunks, all
- 19:00Speaker 1: the same size, salary chunks in the potato salad, and
- 19:09Speaker 1: all this with celery seeds on it, wrapped up in heavy,
- 19:14Speaker 1: heavy ass mustless vest I call this my tanging potato salad.
- 19:23Speaker 1: My daddy couldn't y'all itself. Men, Tan, you ain't enough.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Why don't you Why don't you describe the flavor? But
- 19:38Speaker 1: that's all this sugar honey iced TV. She couldn't stand
- 19:45Speaker 1: bad food. Don't put that next to my barbecue that
- 19:48Speaker 1: I'm over here doing now, Bill, Bill makes my potato
- 19:53Speaker 1: salad for my place. Bill, don't don't put sugar honey
- 19:57Speaker 1: iced tea over here. Gonna want it next to the
- 20:01Speaker 1: barns inside on the stove. Ain't nobody go put it
- 20:08Speaker 1: out here without somebody get confused and think me and
- 20:10Speaker 1: my wife have made this hit. All right? Listen, Uh,

- 22:22Speaker 1: that's that's what I'm trying to say. I didn't sign
- 22:24Speaker 1: the least, so I'm stuck with it. I got to
- 22:27Speaker 1: get that apartment. So I'm gonna trying to tell you
- 22:29Speaker 1: would you like to what's your apartment? Would you like
- 22:31Speaker 1: to move to? And I don't get them to move
- 22:34Speaker 1: your stuff? Nothing, ain't nothing moving on't think's gonna move
- 22:39Speaker 1: with them numbers. You can add them up, divide them
- 22:41Speaker 1: to do whatever you want to them. But I ain't moving.
- 22:44Speaker 1: So you're gonna have to get that to your head. Man.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And really, I'm because I don't know who gave you
- 22:49Speaker 1: my number. Was like this, I meant working calling move
- 22:53Speaker 1: because I don't even know. No Vaughn, no, no, you
- 22:55Speaker 1: don't know me that. I asked them who was in
- 22:58Speaker 1: three sixteen. They told me, none of your business going
- 23:01Speaker 1: three sixteen. Man, Hey, listen, man, I'm trying to do
- 23:03Speaker 1: this as respectful as possible. You know, Like I said,
- 23:06Speaker 1: I really can't function unless I'm living in a disrespect
- 23:10Speaker 1: me then doing disrespects for then, because I'm gonna show
- 23:13Speaker 1: do this. You called me with like this. I don't
- 23:15Speaker 1: give a favorite. Now, I don't care if that was
- 23:17Speaker 1: your favorite scripture. Okay, hey tell me with like that. Man,
- 23:21Speaker 1: see you now, you're gonna make this hard, Okay, so
- 23:23Speaker 1: let me let me tell you this to you. I've
- 23:25Speaker 1: already told the lady I want to be in three sixteen.
- 23:27Speaker 1: She told me I needed to deal with dale. Nah.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to deal with you in a polite weight, okay,
- 23:32Speaker 1: because like I said, I can't function man, unless I'm
- 23:35Speaker 1: an apartment three sixteen, I can't. I can't even get
- 23:38Speaker 1: them go to work. I cannot function. Okay, I have
- 23:41Speaker 1: to have that apartment. No do right. It sounds like
- 23:43Speaker 1: you got a problem on your hands. Man. Whatever your
- 23:46Speaker 1: problem is, that's your problem. Ain't got do with me,
- 23:49Speaker 1: okalled me? You know like that, like I say, I've
- 23:52Speaker 1: been staying in three to sixteen. I'm gonna staying three
- 23:55Speaker 1: sixteen until I moved to a house. You need to
- 23:58Speaker 1: find something else to do. And really I'm stopping. That
- 24:01Speaker 1: gave you my numbers to call me with is I
- 24:04Speaker 1: can't believe it's what you're talking to. You talking to
- 24:08Speaker 1: me first, where you come at me with them? Come
- 24:11Speaker 1: at me with a number. I look like you, man,
- 24:15Speaker 1: three sixteen? What excuse me, dog? What you're saying? You
- 24:19Speaker 1: called me with this? I tell you what, man, come
- 24:22Speaker 1: at me to come at my problem that you're gonna
- 24:25Speaker 1: see it? Man, you understand what I'm saying. Hey, man,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to handle this respectively. Man, okay, all right,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to listen to me. So I'm trying to
- 24:33Speaker 1: tell you, honestly, dog, I cannot function outside of them
- 24:36Speaker 1: three numbers. I have to live an apartment three sixteen.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It ain't my business, man, Yo. I don't want have
- 24:41Speaker 1: to come move, Yo, but I do it. Hold on,
- 24:44Speaker 1: what's running back? What you say? I said, I don't
- 24:46Speaker 1: want to have to move? Yo? Said it down that
- 24:50Speaker 1: me what you're gonna come move? I want? Hey, matter
- 24:53Speaker 1: of fact, come yeah, come on, come move three sixteen,
- 24:56Speaker 1: three sixteen I had for you. Come on, man, come on,
- 24:59Speaker 1: come my man, Come on two teen silas, come on,
- 25:03Speaker 1: move yet all kind of going on the world with
- 25:06Speaker 1: number they've got three under six to five days. I
- 25:09Speaker 1: mean it works, you want. I'm on my nine to
- 25:12Speaker 1: five and you come in with you about three to sixteen.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna move somebody. That's all I got to say. Man,
- 25:17Speaker 1: it's gonna be you for I did before I did
- 25:19Speaker 1: with you, though I'm gonna get the least, and I
- 25:21Speaker 1: was even giving you my number days. Hey man, I'm
- 25:25Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you I have to stay
- 25:27Speaker 1: under them numbers, man, I have to. I'm superstitious like that.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I know, I know everybody ain't like that, but I
- 25:32Speaker 1: just happen to be like that. You don't say everybody
- 25:34Speaker 1: ain't like that. Man, I ain't got time to be
- 25:36Speaker 1: dealing it. Really, everybody ain't got time you sit up
- 25:39Speaker 1: listing like this. Ain't you look up the Christian man,
- 25:42Speaker 1: other than I've been out this job looking what what
- 25:44Speaker 1: apartment number did they give you? They gave me like
- 25:47Speaker 1: three twenty nine or something like that. I don't I
- 25:49Speaker 1: can't stay there man, that's why I'm gonna meet you. Man.

- 25:55Speaker 1: them numbers? Okay, okay, so how about these normals right here? Hey?
- 26:00Speaker 1: M sell them? Pointy nine Steve? What mean hey, Sem?
- 26:03Speaker 1: Seven pointy nine Steve? Eight seven seven twenty nine? Se
- 26:07Speaker 1: you ain't never heard that number before? What's what it's
- 26:10Speaker 1: dound for me? That's the number to the Steve Harvey
- 26:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. Because this is nephew Tommy and you just
- 26:16Speaker 1: got pranked by your co worker Limba. I mean make
- 26:21Speaker 1: that listen. It's it's sounds crazy. Hell, I believes for
- 26:26Speaker 1: us to had me rolling, got me about to take

- 27:14Speaker 1: back to work. Numbers right man, He was trying to
- 27:22Speaker 1: meet you right there, meet me right there. How about
- 27:28Speaker 1: how the numbers work? That was funny. Really. You know
- 27:35Speaker 1: the thing about us, man is and you know it's
- 27:40Speaker 1: it's just a part of it. If you're from the culture,
- 27:45Speaker 1: this this culture that we have to grow up in
- 27:48Speaker 1: of defending yourself and and and scrapping and fighting. It's
- 27:52Speaker 1: so many people that are part of that culture. Even
- 27:56Speaker 1: if you even if you've moved on from it, you
- 27:59Speaker 1: can't put you just can't put certain people that had
- 28:02Speaker 1: it in a background because it's gonna resurface. Man. Yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 1: you know, my mom used to say, we anticipate some
- 28:12Speaker 1: bs all the time, the black people. We are, right,
- 28:18Speaker 1: That's what mom like said. Joke. I wish a blanketing, Yes,
- 28:26Speaker 1: I wish they read it. I'm no, I wish you
- 28:30Speaker 1: would all right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve
- 28:35Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to Steven Show. Steve,
- 28:43Speaker 1: we have a couple of questions for you. As promised.
- 28:46Speaker 1: This segment is called how old were you win? How
- 28:49Speaker 1: old were you when you had your first kiss? Let's say,
- 28:52Speaker 1: no Gwen has did what do you mean? You were traumatized?
- 29:00Speaker 1: Made me do it. She snatched me off my bike.
- 29:01Speaker 1: She stayed across the street. She was a big girl.
- 29:04Speaker 1: She pulled me down off the bike and threw me
- 29:05Speaker 1: up against the tree and kissed me real hard. And
- 29:09Speaker 1: then what No, I just felt violent. I didn't cry.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I didn't cry, number, It was just traumatized. And she
- 29:17Speaker 1: was did She was actually on my TV show. Yeah,
- 29:19Speaker 1: I remember, I remembering he was. They found her and
- 29:22Speaker 1: they found Gwyen Harris and then she came on TV
- 29:25Speaker 1: and talking my ya, I ain't mak you you want it?
- 29:29Speaker 1: I looked at just a damn ye though, I told her,
- 29:37Speaker 1: can't down. Man, I ain't seen Gwyen Harris. Man. I
- 29:41Speaker 1: think last time I saw Gwen hass I was at
- 29:43Speaker 1: a mama's funeral. Man. It might have been nineteen and
- 29:45Speaker 1: you had no idea she was going to be on
- 29:47Speaker 1: the sad no idea Wow Wow, And my first kiss
- 29:51Speaker 1: was on my talk show Wow. And it was not
- 29:53Speaker 1: a kiss. It was not memorable, very forceful. She was stronger,
- 29:57Speaker 1: didn't she was handling my Lily. But were you in
- 30:03Speaker 1: the in the were you at that age where you
- 30:05Speaker 1: liked girls? You start to start. I never went through
- 30:09Speaker 1: the phase where I didn't like girls. I like girls
- 30:12Speaker 1: in kindergarten. Ok. Yeah, I had the girl on my show.
- 30:18Speaker 1: But the first girl I ever walked home, I walked
- 30:20Speaker 1: home in the sixth grade and carried her book Call
- 30:24Speaker 1: to the Shepherd. You remember their name everything. Michelle Hawkins.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Michelle Hawkers was in high school with me when I
- 30:33Speaker 1: was walking and playing I want to go outside in
- 30:36Speaker 1: the rain in the cafetier, and she wouldn't give me
- 30:38Speaker 1: a date. And that song was on. And that's why
- 30:41Speaker 1: that song go Outside means so much to me. Yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 1: go out. She was on my show too, And when
- 30:47Speaker 1: they all came out, I named every last one though. Wow, wow,
- 30:51Speaker 1: that really threw them all. I'm sure they remembered you.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Excuse me his name? What? What did you just say?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Don't try to help him, junior? He just definitely said it.
- 31:04Speaker 1: You don't never learn. He was voting that he was
- 31:08Speaker 1: voted most difficult in high school. Let's just move on. Yes, yes,
- 31:18Speaker 1: how old were you? How old were you when you
- 31:20Speaker 1: heard your first earth winding fire? Song I know that's
- 31:23Speaker 1: your favorite group. Seventeen might have been sixteen sixteen when
- 31:29Speaker 1: I heard the first Earth Winning Five songs. Seventeen when
- 31:33Speaker 1: I bought my first Heard Winning Five album, Wow, and
- 31:36Speaker 1: what was the song? The first song I heard was
- 31:39Speaker 1: Head to the Sky. Oh yeah, that was off the
- 31:41Speaker 1: Head to the Sky album. But my favorite song on
- 31:44Speaker 1: that album was Masquerade. Can this is what s beal? Masquerade?
- 31:55Speaker 1: I want to know all we what we really see,
- 32:01Speaker 1: all the outside and hiding what we really are all
- 32:10Speaker 1: the endside. That's what you think. He's finished. You're something
- 32:23Speaker 1: yo really not? Is a mask of rain. I don't
- 32:37Speaker 1: give a dam with him. Don't trying to figure out.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I figured it out, all right, Steve. Let's get to
- 32:43Speaker 1: the news, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, Okay, this
- 32:47Speaker 1: is a trip with the news. Everybody in good morning.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Wake up. Bill Cosby's waking up a freeman today. The
- 32:53Speaker 1: acting comedian left prison yesterday after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court
- 32:56Speaker 1: overturned his sexual assault conviction in the case involving a
- 33:00Speaker 1: name Andrea Constant. The high court rule that Cosby should
- 33:03Speaker 1: have never faced charges because of the non prosecution deal
- 33:07Speaker 1: he entered into and returned for his testimony with the
- 33:09Speaker 1: district attorney over fifteen years ago. And if you remember,
- 33:13Speaker 1: early on when he was being charged, his lawyer kept
- 33:16Speaker 1: saying that he had a deal, that he was not
- 33:18Speaker 1: supposed to be prosecuted, and that's why he gave the
- 33:20Speaker 1: information in an affidavit that he gave, but it seemed
- 33:23Speaker 1: like nothing came of that. The President first Lady traveled
- 33:26Speaker 1: to Serf Side, Florida today to meet with the families
- 33:29Speaker 1: of the dead and still missing of Meanwhile, a few
- 33:32Speaker 1: more bodies were recovered from the rubble yesterday of that
- 33:34Speaker 1: beachfront condo building, and Serf Side Mayor Daniella Levine at
- 33:38Speaker 1: Kava has the numbers. We've now recovered four additional victims.
- 33:44Speaker 1: The number of deceased is at sixteen. Twelve next of
- 33:47Speaker 1: kin notifications have been completed. That is four families still
- 33:53Speaker 1: waiting to hear and that's sixteen now to eighteen. Actually
- 33:57Speaker 1: after that, two more bodies were found, the bodies of
- 34:00Speaker 1: children ages four and ten. One hundred forty five people
- 34:04Speaker 1: still accounted for Sally. No live victims have been found
- 34:07Speaker 1: since last Thursday. President Biden is concerned about the frequency
- 34:11Speaker 1: of wildfires in the Northwest, and the presidents gathered Western
- 34:14Speaker 1: state governors and others to talk about this, especially as
- 34:17Speaker 1: it relates to climate change. We know this is becoming
- 34:21Speaker 1: a regular cycle, and we know it's getting worse. In fact,
- 34:25Speaker 1: the threat of Western wildfires this year is as severe
- 34:28Speaker 1: as it's ever been. Mister Biden hoping to get those
- 34:31Speaker 1: states to boost the wages of firefighters from only eleven
- 34:34Speaker 1: and thirteen dollars an hour to at least fifteen, while
- 34:37Speaker 1: the federal government would train and equiped National Guardsmen to
- 34:40Speaker 1: fight fires as well. The NCAA's approved a temporary plan
- 34:43Speaker 1: allowing college athletes to make money from the use of
- 34:45Speaker 1: their name, image, and likeness starting today. According to the
- 34:49Speaker 1: Associated Press, Donald Trumps his company along with its chief
- 34:52Speaker 1: financial officer expected to be charged today with tax related crimes.
- 34:57Speaker 1: His company, but not him, not yet anyway, and these
- 35:01Speaker 1: these charges will allegedly stem from a former probe into
- 35:04Speaker 1: the ex president's business dealings. Again, according to the Associated Press,
- 35:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump's company, not Donald Trump, along with his chief
- 35:11Speaker 1: financial offers suspect to be charged today with tax related crimes. Finally,
- 35:16Speaker 1: the on the hungry side, I'll say today is national
- 35:18Speaker 1: chicken wings day. Today we're gonna do some other roasted
- 35:24Speaker 1: chicken wings. You go hungry. Now back to Steve Harvey
- 35:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 35:33Speaker 1: it's your boys time he's here. Well, you know what
- 35:40Speaker 1: the song is called happy and my song is called nappy.
- 35:46Speaker 1: You know how chemicals can hurt child. Her chemicals can
- 35:50Speaker 1: change change. What will her chemicals do? You? Come on none,
- 35:55Speaker 1: come on, come on, no, come just let it be
- 35:58Speaker 1: never right now. I want to care what people say
- 36:02Speaker 1: if they're not off the pain to pay. My hair
- 36:06Speaker 1: is not meant to. Let it be. Let it be
- 36:09Speaker 1: nappy right now, keep that hardcome of bone stone. Leave
- 36:13Speaker 1: the election done the stone so I like it me
- 36:18Speaker 1: just you've like to grease that's rubber three hair. That's
- 36:23Speaker 1: what you're doing now. You won't hurt your fingers when
- 36:26Speaker 1: you run through my hair. Take it a higher. If
- 36:30Speaker 1: it's not just what you do, try to change, have
- 36:35Speaker 1: some pride. Let it beat it beat all the way.
- 36:41Speaker 1: You should know. You said Jesus jealous us love look
- 36:49Speaker 1: so nice and you just want to be if you
- 36:52Speaker 1: won't have been he let it be nap, Let it
- 36:56Speaker 1: be nappy right now? Don't you want to be now
- 36:59Speaker 1: and know that it's and all that is? Could letting
- 37:01Speaker 1: me napp right now? Come out? I just want to
- 37:04Speaker 1: be now annoying. I'm not gonna keep on. Get down
- 37:08Speaker 1: a cock and we've what they send the front. No
- 37:11Speaker 1: weeds are the freaking broken happy, happy to be happy napping?
- 37:21Speaker 1: Just less of grease Roberts we have now, Come on,
- 37:26Speaker 1: it's won't you run through my head? Number through your hair?
- 37:31Speaker 1: If it's now? Come on, don't you be free princess
- 37:35Speaker 1: all the times in your head? Don't you gotta do?
- 37:39Speaker 1: Break it down right now? Come on? Do what I say.
- 37:42Speaker 1: You shouldn't know. I shouldn't know what I'm talking about,
- 37:45Speaker 1: says bring again. Let let it be nappy, break it
- 37:51Speaker 1: down right, break it down. If you happy nappy the
- 37:56Speaker 1: dug out too, Let it be nappy. Don't you let
- 37:59Speaker 1: it be? I just want that food? Say take that
- 38:07Speaker 1: hot as weird? Yes, yes, just like her? Come on,
- 38:22Speaker 1: take a con God's little is Christians all right? More
- 38:34Speaker 1: of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 38:37Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Show. If you've been worried
- 38:44Speaker 1: lately that it seems like more and more Americans are
- 38:47Speaker 1: being truly awful to one another. Steve, you talk about
- 38:50Speaker 1: this a lot, Well you're not alone. A new survey
- 38:53Speaker 1: finds that ninety three percent of Americans believe we have
- 38:56Speaker 1: a civility problem in society and classified buying it as
- 39:00Speaker 1: a major problem. So what's causing all this incivility? Well,
- 39:05Speaker 1: it seems a lot of Americans blame social media. In fact,
- 39:08Speaker 1: sixty three percent of Americans say social media is a
- 39:13Speaker 1: major contributor to incivility in America, with most saying social
- 39:18Speaker 1: media's impact is more negative than positive. So here's a question.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Do you think social media is to blame for the
- 39:25Speaker 1: incivility in this country? Why? And part two? Uh, you
- 39:30Speaker 1: know we can answer this. Have you been the target
- 39:32Speaker 1: of negative social media comments? Steve straight to you just
- 39:40Speaker 1: want to get your takes, your show. I'm the whole
- 39:43Speaker 1: reason we got to r Yeah, you're a survey says,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I mean, you know what, what what? What has happened? Though,
- 39:53Speaker 1: it is just my honest assessment of it. You have
- 39:57Speaker 1: the right to feel how you want to. Social media
- 40:00Speaker 1: could really be a good thing. But what has happened
- 40:04Speaker 1: is it has given a platform to so many small
- 40:10Speaker 1: minded people. In order to appear big, these very small people,
- 40:17Speaker 1: they have to make the loudest obnoxious comments that they can.
- 40:24Speaker 1: It's the only way they can stand out because they're nothing.
- 40:29Speaker 1: They're nobody's in their life, in their world. They are nobodies.
- 40:34Speaker 1: So they create these incredible personas in their own head
- 40:38Speaker 1: online and they come in they attack like they like
- 40:42Speaker 1: they are an authoritative figure about you and your life
- 40:46Speaker 1: all of a sudden, and it's just misguided energy many
- 40:52Speaker 1: and I think that's a big part of it. And
- 40:55Speaker 1: hate is so much louder than love, but love is stronger.
- 41:00Speaker 1: That's and that's that's the sadness of it. What do
- 41:03Speaker 1: you guys think? I think you're right. I agree totally. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:10Speaker 1: I think the problem they have is because when they're
- 41:11Speaker 1: watching that video, they're not in the room. What video
- 41:16Speaker 1: on social media? When you watching us on social media,
- 41:19Speaker 1: you're not in the room. Do you think Junior is
- 41:22Speaker 1: jealousy hate an abused platform? Yeah, you're sitting in your car,
- 41:29Speaker 1: Roll run like that. They're not in the car, so
- 41:34Speaker 1: he come eight. What about the comments when folks are
- 41:39Speaker 1: doing good stuff like Stephen the mentoring camp giving back
- 41:44Speaker 1: all of us on this show give back. All of
- 41:46Speaker 1: us have our platforms and you know the work that
- 41:50Speaker 1: we do. They don't magnify that. N see exactly. It's
- 41:59Speaker 1: like the news. The more sensationalize, right, that's the better.
- 42:05Speaker 1: They will put a spotlight on somebody who's robbed the
- 42:08Speaker 1: bank and it is getting chased down the highway. They'll
- 42:10Speaker 1: put a helicopter over top of them. Because that's what
- 42:13Speaker 1: follow this idiot asked person for an hour and a
- 42:16Speaker 1: half driving off the freeway, running through backyards and stuff.
- 42:20Speaker 1: You know, you saved ten people's lives. Yeah. Thanks. If
- 42:30Speaker 1: it bleeds, it leads, that's that's what they say. No,
- 42:33Speaker 1: that's yeah, if it bleeds, it's lead. It's the first
- 42:37Speaker 1: story they're gonna do. If it's negative, they're gonna do
- 42:39Speaker 1: it right. Well, that's why sixty three percent of Americans
- 42:42Speaker 1: say social media, uh, their impact is more negative than positive.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I mean it's sad to say,
- 42:50Speaker 1: you know, no, man, it's sad news and and and
- 42:54Speaker 1: like Jay say, if it bleeds, it leads. So what
- 42:56Speaker 1: drives social media sites or these blogs is negativity because
- 43:01Speaker 1: now you got people comment and they make money on
- 43:04Speaker 1: clicks and They don't do anything to get to click,
- 43:08Speaker 1: truth or not. They just want to click because they're
- 43:11Speaker 1: trying to make money. It's sad, man, it's really really
- 43:14Speaker 1: had it really is yep, pray far yeah yeah, all right, listen,
- 43:22Speaker 1: we can keep this conversation going on social media, of course,
- 43:28Speaker 1: go to Steve Harvey FM. Now up next, it is
- 43:31Speaker 1: a nephew in the building with today's prank phone call.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening, coming up at the top
- 43:40Speaker 1: of the hour, guys, right about four minutes after it's
- 43:42Speaker 1: my Strubberry letter for today's subject variety is the spice
- 43:45Speaker 1: of life, right yeah, but right now unless you marry

- 43:58Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got now understand? Yeah? Limo,

- 44:38Speaker 1: I keep calling the main line, but there ain't nobody answering.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I call that about six seven times. They keep rolling
- 44:44Speaker 1: over to it like to a voice mail, or say okay, okay, brother,
- 44:46Speaker 1: what's your name? Monday? And Tony? Okay, listen, Tony, I
- 44:49Speaker 1: got a customer in the back. Let me get them happy,
- 44:51Speaker 1: can you you got a few moments? Let me get
- 44:54Speaker 1: the dough form and all hold the phone? All right, okay, cool?
- 45:00Speaker 1: Oh I thank you. Have a good eating all right? Tom? Yeah?
- 45:03Speaker 1: What's up? Yeah? Now you're saying you called the main
- 45:06Speaker 1: line and you just keep going the voicemail or something
- 45:08Speaker 1: like can you call the main line? But you know,
- 45:10Speaker 1: I know I'm calling it the last minute. Do I'm

- 47:43Speaker 1: That's that's man. Yo. You're a driver, dog. Your job

- 52:24Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, on dating, work, sex, parenting,
- 52:28Speaker 1: and more, police submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey
- 52:32Speaker 1: FM dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. Okay, we
- 52:37Speaker 1: could be reading your letter live on the air, just
- 52:39Speaker 1: like we're gonna read this one. Buggle up, hold on tight.
- 52:42Speaker 1: We gotta for you Strawberry letter. Thanks No. Subject variety
- 52:46Speaker 1: is the spice of life, right, Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 52:51Speaker 1: met a guy that I thought would be the man
- 52:53Speaker 1: of my dreams when we first met. He's a man
- 52:56Speaker 1: of God, and he would be a great father and
- 52:59Speaker 1: husband to the right woman. But that woman is not me.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I have a very high sex drive and this guy
- 53:06Speaker 1: can't keep up, so I lust interest in him and
- 53:09Speaker 1: we broke up. He still takes me out and very
- 53:11Speaker 1: nice dates, and he visits me in my family every
- 53:14Speaker 1: week and hopes that we might get back together. In
- 53:17Speaker 1: the meantime. I'm not another guy, and he's willing and
- 53:20Speaker 1: able to fulfill my sexual needs, but that is about it.
- 53:25Speaker 1: I would not consider him as boyfriend material. He's more
- 53:27Speaker 1: of a side piece type of guy. I was honest
- 53:30Speaker 1: with my main guy and told him about my side piece.
- 53:34Speaker 1: The main guy says he loves me, but for us
- 53:37Speaker 1: to continue to date, I have to let the side
- 53:40Speaker 1: piece go. So here's my big issue. To be honest,
- 53:43Speaker 1: I actually enjoy having two guys, no one one that
- 53:48Speaker 1: I can go out on dates with and the other
- 53:51Speaker 1: one that I can just have wild sex with whenever
- 53:54Speaker 1: I want. Yes, I want my cake and eat it too.
- 53:58Speaker 1: I don't want to lose my main guy or the
- 54:00Speaker 1: side piece, so I'm trying to figure out how to
- 54:02Speaker 1: make it work. Men do it, so why can't I?
- 54:05Speaker 1: Until I am really ready to settle down. Variety is
- 54:09Speaker 1: a spice of life, right, So what should I do. Hey,
- 54:12Speaker 1: you're single, right, listen, who am I to judge? Okay,
- 54:15Speaker 1: do you boo? Uh? No one has ever said that
- 54:18Speaker 1: men are the only ones who can't be players. Men
- 54:20Speaker 1: and women. Yes, women do it every single day. The
- 54:25Speaker 1: difference here is though, that you told you're you know,
- 54:27Speaker 1: you're a so called main guy about your side piece.
- 54:30Speaker 1: That usually doesn't happen. Guys usually don't tell, They just lie,
- 54:34Speaker 1: you know, and asked about cheating and stuff. So, um,
- 54:37Speaker 1: you know that's a little different for you to just
- 54:39Speaker 1: be so transparent and open about it. I'm shocked that
- 54:42Speaker 1: you're your guy is still hanging in there with you,
- 54:45Speaker 1: quite frankly, knowing all of this. Um, but he did
- 54:48Speaker 1: give you an ultimatum, you know, choose the other guy
- 54:51Speaker 1: or him. So, I mean, you do what you want.
- 54:54Speaker 1: It's your life. You're you're you're single. You know you've
- 54:58Speaker 1: heard the saying it's a double standard. Women can't do
- 55:00Speaker 1: what men doing. All that, it's your life. I'm not
- 55:04Speaker 1: judging you on this one. I'm really not Do what
- 55:06Speaker 1: you do, whatever you want to do, and see how
- 55:08Speaker 1: it works out for you. If it's going so far,
- 55:10Speaker 1: so good, then keep doing it. You're probably young. Anyway,
- 55:13Speaker 1: you didn't get give your age, do you boom? Steve? Yeah,
- 55:18Speaker 1: well I'm judging because you wrote in here, you must
- 55:22Speaker 1: want to be judged. So this is strawberry letter. We judge,
- 55:26Speaker 1: We give our opinions on it or whether you like
- 55:29Speaker 1: it or not. If you didn't want it, you wouldn't
- 55:32Speaker 1: have wrote in Now. If you're gonna just do you
- 55:34Speaker 1: do you boot, then what's the damn letter? Fall? Just
- 55:38Speaker 1: gonna do you boo? But that ain't what's going on.
- 55:44Speaker 1: You really got a little situation here. Let me walk
- 55:46Speaker 1: you through it. Lady. I thought it be you met
- 55:50Speaker 1: this man. You thought he was a guy, your dreams
- 55:52Speaker 1: man and god be a great father and husband to
- 55:54Speaker 1: the right woman. But that woman's not me. Because see,
- 55:57Speaker 1: you got this high sex drive and he just couldn't
- 55:59Speaker 1: keep up with you. So you broke up. What to
- 56:00Speaker 1: do because he can't bring it airtime? You wan't? Okay? Well,
- 56:06Speaker 1: if you're gonna break up, you obviously ain't in love.
- 56:08Speaker 1: So you know, Mike, we're gonna break up for something. Hell,
- 56:12Speaker 1: it's either to add them money. So so you broke
- 56:16Speaker 1: up with him, so damn, But here goes your problem.
- 56:20Speaker 1: He didn't want to drop it at that, so he
- 56:23Speaker 1: kept coming back, taking you out on wonderful dates. He
- 56:26Speaker 1: visited you and your family every week, and hope that
- 56:29Speaker 1: we can get back together. Now. He got feelings for
- 56:32Speaker 1: you that you ain't got for him. But in the meantime,
- 56:35Speaker 1: you didn't met another man willing to fulfill your sexual needs.
- 56:39Speaker 1: But that's about it. In other words, you didn't met
- 56:42Speaker 1: somebody that's just braking it, frying that bacon flipping, didn't payingcakes,
- 56:53Speaker 1: bacon your beans, grilling you can't feel Come on now,
- 57:03Speaker 1: cleaning your chidling. Oh remember you got a man. It
- 57:11Speaker 1: is shocking your corn. Come on now, Yeah, he ain't
- 57:17Speaker 1: here doing nothing. He peeling that potato. That's what he's doing.
- 57:23Speaker 1: That's what he's doing. You know what he Yeah, yeah,
- 57:26Speaker 1: that's what he's doing. He is a brethl. You just
- 57:30Speaker 1: put it in. He just get your juice back. He
- 57:32Speaker 1: ain't no man of guy. He ain't no great father,
- 57:37Speaker 1: ain't no good hood. But Lord have mercy. Whenever you wanted,
- 57:41Speaker 1: he got it for you. But it ain't got nothing
- 57:43Speaker 1: else here, Bobbie que you. But he ain't got money
- 57:47Speaker 1: for charcoal and light of flue. Come on, now he'll
- 57:53Speaker 1: peel a potato, but you got to buy the sack.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Come on, now, I'm I'm just telling it like it is. Now,
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm honest with your main guy, and you told him
- 58:07Speaker 1: about your side piece. Your main guys stupid. This is
- 58:13Speaker 1: what your main guys said. He loves me, but for
- 58:15Speaker 1: y'all to continue to date, I have to let the
- 58:18Speaker 1: side piece go. Then you said, so, here's my big issue.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I actually enjoy having two guys, one that I can
- 58:27Speaker 1: go out with on dates and other ones that I
- 58:30Speaker 1: could just have wild sexual whatever I want. Yes, I
- 58:33Speaker 1: want my cake and eat it too. Everybody want take
- 58:35Speaker 1: cake and eat it too. Hell, I want my check
- 58:38Speaker 1: and don't pay taxes. Amen. I wish they had ice
- 58:43Speaker 1: water in Hell. And the list goes on and on it.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Don't nobody give a damn. But you want to have
- 58:53Speaker 1: your cake and eat it too. This life, you don't
- 58:57Speaker 1: get to have your cake and too. I'm just gonna
- 59:02Speaker 1: gonna put the nail in it for you. When we
- 59:04Speaker 1: come back, we'll have Burton two of Steve's response coming
- 59:07Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the Hour of Variety is
- 59:10Speaker 1: the spice of life. Right right after this, you're listening

- 59:39Speaker 1: ain't having it. In the meantime, she hadn't met a
- 59:41Speaker 1: side piece, a thriller in Manila. She hadn't met somebody
- 59:47Speaker 1: who is designed like a shock, is designed to hunt
- 59:52Speaker 1: in the water. He'll killer, but all he can do
- 59:56Speaker 1: is have six. He can't buy no room to have sex.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: He can't pay the rent on the place to have
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: a sex. He can't wine and dine you to make
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you feel good before you have sex. All you can
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: do is come in there with some sex. So now
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you have a decision to make you stupid. Aston told
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: your main guy that you got the side piece. He
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: didn't told you he loved you. Still want to date,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: but you gotta let the side piece go then. To
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: be honest, I actually like having two guys to go
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: out on date with and one that I can just
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: have wild sexual or whenever I want to. Then she said, yes,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I want my caking into everybody to do everybody do. Hell,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I want the Chilene without having to cleaner. Want No,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I was just fitting into this to this thing. I'm
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I don't really need chilens no more. But when I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: did though, yeah, I'm vegan right now. You see how
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: long this is. Now here's a problem. I don't want
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: to lose my main guy or the side piece, so
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out how to make it work.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Here's where she wrong. Men do it? So why I
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: can't I until I'm ready to settle down. Variety is
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the spice of life, right, So what should I do? Well,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: here's a deal. Here's your whole problem. If you think
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: variety is a spice of life, but you said it
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: until you're ready to settle down, Well, you're not ready
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to settle down. That's why you can't see the good
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: in the first man, because you're not ready to settle down.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: All this is a waste of me in Sherley's time.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: You're not ready to settle down. You want to have
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: multiple partners. Your only problem is when you get ready
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: to settle down, the best guy gonna be gone because
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: another woman is ready to settled down. And when she
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: meet him, he gonna be gonna and his loving gonna
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: be just enough, and he gonna get better at his
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: love in any way. He gonna learn how to, you know,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: put it together. Really yeah, he can be taught, you know. Hold,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: let me let me just say that. A lot of
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: times women, you know, when a man ain't a pleasing
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to you. Oh, let's just talk about it now. Maybe
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: you ain't. Hello, maybe you ain't all you thank you
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: with Well, let's just talk about it. Don't be half
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: for men that they've never been like. You know, he
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: ain't nothing. Well, maybe you two damn much when she
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: said that, that's the problem, you know. Okay, so now
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: let's just talk about it. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: He might not be all that, but you might not either. Hello,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: maybe you ain't the hot five cracker you thank you all? Yeah,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: thank you Steve for saying that. Man. No, you're welcome,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: jay man. Some men have been disappointed. Yes, thank you. Hell, yeah,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: he wasn't what I thought it was gonna be. What
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: hell when you took your clothes off. I wasn't all that,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you know, moved didn't buy this anyway. So now we
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: so we so we both standing that offended. What you're
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: looking at me like I ain't all that, and I'm
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: looking at you like you ain't all that. This is
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: not about you. This has nothing to do with you. Now,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: this has to do with this letter. Do we could
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: have we could she could have this problem again. See
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: so a lot of times when you blaming men for
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: not being this. This guy she described in the beginning
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: of the letter, was a good man. Now all of
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: a sudden, he don't have wild sex like I want to.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Maybe you too, damn wild she is. Everybody don't want
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to get hilled. Wait what it is in the letter?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: It says I have a very high sex drive. That's
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: in the top of the letter. Then seem to do
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: was being whipped. Then she said, to be honest, I
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: can actually enjoy having to guys one I can go
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: out on dates with and the other one that I
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: could just have wild sex with. See, wow, that's not standing.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: That's why it could be whipping. Every man don't like
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: hot wax. Everybody like yourself I want everybody don't like
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: getting bit on the side, and they stumbled, don't don't
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: nipple the side of my stomach. That ain't fun, thank you.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I said something I don't like clothes finds and they
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: don't go there. Now that's wild. What you gotta see
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: on the side of their stomach is pretty wild. I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: don't like none of that, you know. I don't want
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: no feather on my butt. I don't like I don't
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: fail the old booting. What I don't want a feather?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Oh my boots. On that note, we have to go. Okay,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: you can email us or instagram us your thoughts on
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey f M coming up
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: and damn why do you bow? Who cares? You're listening
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to Steven Show? All right, it's time for something funny.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Let's go with Junior's Truth Be Told and then I'm
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: gonna give you guys a list of words. Steve, You're
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: in on this as well. Let's start with the letter
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: b okay that you guys are constantly messing up always.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: You know, people think that if you don't speak with them,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: then they have to be a problem. Yeah, you know,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: they think that they really do believe what wrong you? Yeah,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: what wrong would you? You know? So I get a
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: text message from a family member that read, when family
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: and friends go through life not speaking, there will come
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: a day to regret it. It's called the funeral. Well,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I want to respond to that family member, real civil
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: truth be told. If I go first. What I'm trying
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: to hope to do. If I go first and I
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: don't have I read it to regret it, I really
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: the fact that you sent it over there and you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: still haven't got a response, what that means. I'm not mad.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I just don't speak to you like this. No, I
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: don't have time like like this is This is people
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: to understand. If you text somebody and you look at
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: your text law and all other text messages, yea off
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: from you, Dave respond you message back if the last
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: message you got from me was married Christmas, I just
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: don't talk that. That's not my fault. If you get
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: telling people to tell me that you said call you,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: guess what I ain't called. I just won't you understand
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: that I'm not mad at you. I just don't have
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: to talk to you. So you could be mad if
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: you won't do Yeah, okay, it is called a funeral.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: But then knowing you and why I'm not talking to you.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I won't even be mad when I shouldn't. I can
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: get up there with confidence. A lie like everybody else.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: He lies a great individual, someone who lived beyond aman,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: a life changes. I can get up that lot with
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: the best thing. That's all I got to say. I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: think you gotta get before you figure out I'm not
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: talking talking to if you send a bunch of I'm
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: not talking, I just ain't talking. Sometimes it's good to
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: cut people out. Ever again, you know I ever said

- 1:10:37Speaker 1: he was showing me pictures of her bathroom. She just
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: happened to be naked when she took the pictures. That's

- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Definitely didn't happen to me. Nice cabinets exactly. I'm not

- 1:17:39Speaker 1: God's Little is Christian? All right? Coming up closing remarks
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this Thursday. Um,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: take us home with some closing remarks. You know, somebody
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: sent me something a while back. You know, I keep
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: stuff that people send me because a lot of people
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: send me things when I know I'm going through something.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: A lot of people send me stuff when Just to say, Steve,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: if you're out there talking, man, here's a thought for you.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: And one of the things that I've learned in my
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: life is that all of us are going to be tested.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: We're going to be tested and tried throughout our life.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: It's these tests that are presented to us that has
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: allows us an opportunity to grow. Every test that comes
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: your way is an opportunity for you to gain some
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: valuable knowledge from it, and so throughout life you will
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: always be tested. Everything that happens to you is not
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: just because the devil is busy. Something's happen to you
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: because God has to present certain things for you in
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: order for you to learn how to deal with it,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: which better prepares you for what you ask for later
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: in life, or to prepare you for what God is
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: going to present to you later in life. So when
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: you're going through hardships, you gotta understand that these hardships
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: are preparing you for the future. And like I've been
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: saying a lot over the past few weeks, if you
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: think about all your hardships and your tough days and
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: your rough days, your actual record for surviving bad days
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: all the way up until this point, y'all, is one.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: And that's a pretty good track record. Now, in this
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: test that God is going to present to you, somebody
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: sent this to me on a plaque, and it's said
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: that life has many ways of testing a person's will.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I want you to hear me clearly. It says life
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: has many ways of testing a person's will, either though
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: by having nothing happened at all, or by having everything
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: happened all at once. Do you know how true of
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: a statement that is? You get tested by first of all,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: a person's will get tested by either having nothing happened
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: at all. You know how hard it is man when
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing going on? Do you know how
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: hard it is man when you can't get nothing popping?
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: You know how difficult life can be man when you
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: just can't seem to get it right? Do you know
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: the difficulties you face? Man who ain't nothing clicking on
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: none of the cylinders, Man, ain't nothing happening at at all.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: That's a test, man, that's a real hard test. Man.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: That's when you're sitting up that man, going Lord, Heavenly Father.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: And now it's preparing you and conditioning you to get
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: closer to God, because I'm telling you, man, you can't
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: make it in this world without God. Now you can
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: keep on trying this way if you want to, But
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I got news for you. You can lock in on
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: this room. This is a fact. You can't make it
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: through this life without no, God, you can't do it.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: You cannot do it. It's too difficult. And one of
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: the tests to get you to draw closer to him
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: is sometimes a person's wheel is tested by having nothing
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: happened at all. But here's the other way you get tested.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: How about this one? All by having everything happened all
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: that wants How many times that didn't happen? Man, when
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: it just felt like man, it's raining cats and dogs
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: on you. It's almost like, man, you can't catch a breaking.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Ten minute ago, you couldn't catch a break to get
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: something happened, and now all of a suddenly look like
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you can't stop this thing from happening. It's just snowballing
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: on you. Man, that's a test. You know what. God
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: has wanted you to get close to him too, so
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: he can take some of that weight up off me,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: so you can take your troubles to him and tied
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: to him, so he can prove to you that you
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: ain't in this thing by yourself. See, you ain't in
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: life by yourself. When it ain't you ain't got nothing happening,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: and you ain't got and you ain't by yourself in
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: life when you got everything happened you need God, Man,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: I kid you not. And you know how I know
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: what I'm talking about because you're looking at a man
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: who tried it without it, And I knew better. My
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: mom was a Sunday school teacher. I knew better than
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: to turn away and try it in my way. But
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I did it for years, and I made you know
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: what I want. I made a mess out of myself.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I was turning myself into a big old glob or nothing.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: But he got my undivided attention one day when I
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: was at a real low point. But one of them days,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: why I throughn't gonna rise no more. On one of
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: them days, who I thought, Man, i'dn't had enough of this.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I ain't never thought about killing myself. I ain't never
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: thought about checking out. The thought has never crossed my mind.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: But I'm just talking about I just had some days, man,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: we'll just feel like, Man, this it like, yeah, I
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: can't do no more this. Hire When I was living
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: in that car, I had some days man when I
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: just said, Man, I can't do this no more. I'm
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: gonna go home. Man, I'm gonna go home my mom
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and daddy. Man, just see if I can stay there
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: until I find a job. I almost did that because
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: you know what, what nothing happened at all. I couldn't
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: get nothing clicking. And right about then, man, I just
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: say a Scottison, man, can you just show me a
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: sign that it's gonna be our Next thing I knew
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: I called as some machine in my mama's house and
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: it was a message and it was a guy named
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Chuck Chuck Sutton that showed time with their part. Next thing,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: you know, man, next thing? You know? That weekend I
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: was on TV for the very first time, and do
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you know something that I've been on TV every since that.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: But it was real dog for me for a minute.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: But he always comes. Life got a lot of ways
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: of testing the people's will, either a boy having nothing
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: happened at all or about having everything happening all at once.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: But either way, as a test you can pass. You've
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: done all the rest of them, Ain't you got through it? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: that's it. Keep your faith, put some God in your life.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: You need it, so drop it on the floor, y'all
