- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in Its not good. Steve to mother, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta use that turn you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you loven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water. The
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got me? Come come on your thad huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Oh,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: Man got a radio show Boil boiled boy. I can't
- 2:15Speaker 1: even tell you, man um. I've been doing some thinking
- 2:20Speaker 1: and and one of the things that I wanted to
- 2:24Speaker 1: mention today to you as one of the principles of
- 2:27Speaker 1: success being grateful at all times. It's difficult to do.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Being grateful at all times. It's very difficult to do.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I find that to be true with myself. Now there
- 2:47Speaker 1: are others that might be able to do it, but
- 2:50Speaker 1: just just from talking and listening and and and living
- 2:53Speaker 1: and learning, being grateful at all times it's difficult to do,
- 2:59Speaker 1: but it's necessary sery because it's such an act of
- 3:04Speaker 1: faith in knowing that no matter what's going on, it's
- 3:09Speaker 1: going to be all right. And it's hard to see
- 3:12Speaker 1: that when things are not going in your favor, when
- 3:17Speaker 1: things have turned so dramatically the other way, and it
- 3:22Speaker 1: seems as though you're the only one in the situation
- 3:26Speaker 1: where you're involved with other people, or someone got an
- 3:29Speaker 1: accusation against you falsely, or somebody trying to do something
- 3:32Speaker 1: to you unjustifiably, whatever the case may be. When it's
- 3:37Speaker 1: happening to you, it does appear to you that, oh,
- 3:41Speaker 1: my goodness, man, this is horribly one sided. So it
- 3:47Speaker 1: is difficult, it's hard to do to be grateful at
- 3:50Speaker 1: all times, but it's so necessary, and I just I
- 3:55Speaker 1: just want to point out a couple of things to you.
- 3:57Speaker 1: First of all, the difficulty in being grateful in hard
- 4:02Speaker 1: times is that number one, the present circumstances. Oftentimes it's
- 4:09Speaker 1: just so pressing and so overwhelming that a lot of
- 4:13Speaker 1: your energy is devoted to trying to come up with
- 4:16Speaker 1: the solution for that, or trying to muster the strength
- 4:19Speaker 1: to whether the storm, or trying to just brace yourself
- 4:23Speaker 1: to try to get through it, and in doing that,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you don't It's hard to be grateful. It's hard to
- 4:31Speaker 1: be grateful in pain, and I know it is. But
- 4:35Speaker 1: here is the trick for me. This is what I've
- 4:39Speaker 1: had to learn how to do, and I guess it
- 4:43Speaker 1: takes practice to get here. It's not nothing you can
- 4:46Speaker 1: just start doing right away. You got to practice it
- 4:48Speaker 1: in small increments to really get it. What I've always
- 4:51Speaker 1: had to say to myself and what I've learned to
- 4:53Speaker 1: say to myself is this is happening to me because
- 4:59Speaker 1: God is working me through something. This is happening to
- 5:03Speaker 1: me because there's some form of tests that I have
- 5:07Speaker 1: to pass in order to graduate to the next grade,
- 5:10Speaker 1: that in order to be allowed to move to the
- 5:13Speaker 1: next level. This is happening to me because there's something
- 5:18Speaker 1: I need to purge my life, of my body, of
- 5:22Speaker 1: my spirit, of something's purging in me. And when you
- 5:26Speaker 1: purge something, it's it's painful. You know, It's like a
- 5:30Speaker 1: person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing. I've been
- 5:36Speaker 1: told and every documentary I've ever watched it it's an
- 5:39Speaker 1: agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw, to pull
- 5:44Speaker 1: away after you've been doing something so long. And so
- 5:49Speaker 1: I know that this process is tough. When you're going
- 5:54Speaker 1: through some pain. But when you're purging your system, when
- 5:59Speaker 1: you're when you're when you're having to pass a test,
- 6:02Speaker 1: when you're about to make when you're being made ready
- 6:06Speaker 1: for the next level, that moment right in there, in
- 6:10Speaker 1: realizing that that's what's happening, that's where you find the gratitude.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining
- 6:18Speaker 1: this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I get it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But that's where you find the gratitude. The second part
- 6:26Speaker 1: of it is is that God has never left me
- 6:32Speaker 1: in all the things I've done, in all the mistakes
- 6:35Speaker 1: I've made, all the lies I've told, all the situations
- 6:40Speaker 1: I've gotten myself into, from being greedy and wanting too
- 6:44Speaker 1: much for me at the expense sometimes of other people,
- 6:52Speaker 1: not doing it deliberately or in a vindictive way, because
- 6:56Speaker 1: I've never had that spirit. I'm not a vindictive or
- 7:00Speaker 1: mean person, but sometimes in my life, in wanting to
- 7:05Speaker 1: do what I wanted to do, I didn't totally weigh
- 7:08Speaker 1: out the cause and effect of the other person. I mean,
- 7:12Speaker 1: can't just be real with you with that. I mean,
- 7:15Speaker 1: how many times we hadn't all done that? Look, it
- 7:17Speaker 1: does don't make you a bad person. You know, good
- 7:21Speaker 1: people do bad things all the time. I just happened
- 7:24Speaker 1: to have come to the realization that unknowingly and and
- 7:30Speaker 1: not and not with malice intent towards a person. I've
- 7:37Speaker 1: heard people looking at something I wanted to do without
- 7:42Speaker 1: really looking at what the cause and effect would be
- 7:45Speaker 1: on the other person. So in doing some of these things,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I've created situations for myself. But God, through his grace
- 7:54Speaker 1: and mercy, has allowed me to even get beyond that.
- 7:58Speaker 1: So what I'm saying that God is never left me
- 8:01Speaker 1: in spite of myself. He's always gotten me through. So
- 8:05Speaker 1: that's the other part of it too. See that no
- 8:08Speaker 1: matter what you're going through, you've got to understand that
- 8:11Speaker 1: God has always gotten you through it, now, hasn't it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Now that may not be the way you want it
- 8:16Speaker 1: or the way you liked, but guess what, you can't
- 8:19Speaker 1: do wrong and not pay for that. Now that that's
- 8:22Speaker 1: not how this works, That's never going to be the case.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But the great thing about God is he fires warning
- 8:28Speaker 1: shots at us all the time. He gives us an
- 8:30Speaker 1: opportunity to stop. You know, he don't fully punish us
- 8:34Speaker 1: right away every time we do something wrong, now does it?
- 8:37Speaker 1: You know eventually you're going to get caught doing whatever
- 8:41Speaker 1: it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 1: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: not perfect. I know we all sent us down here,
- 8:52Speaker 1: so I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time. I
- 8:55Speaker 1: know you was looking at her when you wasn't supposed to.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I know you said something to him when you wasn't
- 8:59Speaker 1: supposed to. I know you got with her when you
- 9:02Speaker 1: know you wasn't supposed to. And I know you got
- 9:04Speaker 1: with him when you know you wasn't supposed to. So
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna fire
- 9:08Speaker 1: warning shot and maybe you'll slow your role this time.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But we keep on though. See see see that's what happens.
- 9:15Speaker 1: See we just keep on and then the next thing,
- 9:18Speaker 1: you know, we get caught. Now, old Lord, have mercy,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I won't out of this. Yeah. Well see you didn't
- 9:24Speaker 1: dug this hole pretty deep, and he gonna get you out.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But there's some things that's got to go down now
- 9:30Speaker 1: because you didn't pay attention to the warning shot. See,
- 9:32Speaker 1: had you stopped the first time you felt bad about
- 9:35Speaker 1: it and said you wasn't gonna do it no more,
- 9:37Speaker 1: the situation wouldn't be as critical. But because we don't stop,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and we go again. But God always for gives, He
- 9:46Speaker 1: always allows us to get back up again. He always
- 9:50Speaker 1: gives us mercy. He always gives us his grace. He
- 9:55Speaker 1: always does that. You're listening tow ladies and gentlemen, it
- 10:04Speaker 1: is time to bring in and welcome a glorious day. Man,
- 10:11Speaker 1: oh man, another one. What what are he doing? It's
- 10:16Speaker 1: called blessings? Man? Another one? He again? Wait a minute, y'all,
- 10:24Speaker 1: are you not realizing what's happening? I mean, just really
- 10:27Speaker 1: just all together. Now, let's have a real simplistic moment.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Do you realize that he has awaken us again? Man?
- 10:42Speaker 1: That's crazy. Man with you, it's a real simple thing,
- 10:45Speaker 1: because you know what you have to come. You have
- 10:47Speaker 1: to realize this. You do not have the ability to
- 10:50Speaker 1: wake yourself up. I don't know if you wear that
- 10:55Speaker 1: you can set the alarm, but when the alarm goes off,
- 11:00Speaker 1: he has to shake you to wake you up so
- 11:03Speaker 1: you can hit the snooze button or turn off the alarm.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It don't work. The other way around. It is not
- 11:10Speaker 1: the alarm that wakes you up, it's him that shakes
- 11:13Speaker 1: you allow you to hear the alarm. A lot of
- 11:15Speaker 1: alarms went off this morning, ain't and somebody ain't gonna answer?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Come on now again, boy they go. Steve Harvey, Martin Show,
- 11:25Speaker 1: Sherley Strawberry, Colin for Rell, Mouth of the South, Junior
- 11:30Speaker 1: government name kill Spates. The legend that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:35Speaker 1: What is it Today's? Oh? Man? Uh? Can I ask
- 11:38Speaker 1: you this? Uncle? I just want to ask you, honestly,
- 11:41Speaker 1: because you sixty five years in man? Why are you laughing?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Step He hasn't even asked you yet because he knows.
- 11:47Speaker 1: He knows. I'm asking it because I'm finding out that
- 11:49Speaker 1: being Merriwell more different than I thought. Yeah, but uh,
- 11:53Speaker 1: it's certain stuff we got to give up. Lunk like
- 11:56Speaker 1: I can't even drink the orange you out the jug there,
- 12:00Speaker 1: caught doing that? You just righting black? That's all I
- 12:07Speaker 1: got low down? Who you think you are? It's other
- 12:12Speaker 1: people live here. Wait a minute, junior junior, did you
- 12:16Speaker 1: say you mean that stuff you have to give up?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. It's some things you never
- 12:22Speaker 1: see again. Like what like your own mind, you'll never
- 12:33Speaker 1: see him again. He matter of fact, he's he's getting
- 12:38Speaker 1: less and less a part of your life, your own thinking.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Why are you sitting over there? Why you put your
- 12:48Speaker 1: remote over there? Why you park over here? Pause? Won't
- 12:55Speaker 1: it too? That's not what in your mind. No, that
- 12:59Speaker 1: ain't what you say in your mind, junior. Inside boys,
- 13:04Speaker 1: Why why don't you go get a hat cut when
- 13:09Speaker 1: you're gonna wash the car? Oh my god, why do
- 13:13Speaker 1: you close that cabinet? Why you keep telling these pillars
- 13:16Speaker 1: off this count? You're gonna leave that on the table.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You're just gonna leave that on the table. You didn't
- 13:29Speaker 1: You didn't wash your plate? No, I didn't see how
- 13:32Speaker 1: to learn, Junior, it's hard. Coming up. At thirty two
- 13:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as
- 13:41Speaker 1: he runs that prank back right after this. You're listening,
- 13:47Speaker 1: all right, it is time for the nephew to run
- 13:49Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got, nest, Well, it was
- 13:51Speaker 1: stupid yesterday, it's gonna be stupid again today. Okay, this

- 18:33Speaker 1: You say your name is what my name is, Officer Rogers,
- 18:36Speaker 1: So I don't know Officer Roger. Like I said, you
- 18:39Speaker 1: might be the reason why it came back by. You
- 18:42Speaker 1: might be the reason I need to speak with mister
- 18:45Speaker 1: w that's my probation, Ouficer officer. Now I have clean
- 18:49Speaker 1: at all time. Mister Ches, you shouldn't be calling me.

- 19:08Speaker 1: I got you got let me know what. There's one
- 19:10Speaker 1: there's one more thing and I need to bring right now.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Are you listening to me? What is it? Sir? This
- 19:20Speaker 1: is nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 19:24Speaker 1: just got pranked by your sister Alan. I know one thing.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Y'all play too much. I'll play too much. When I
- 19:35Speaker 1: was coming to give mister Rogers, she gonna get this
- 19:41Speaker 1: no positive hell out of me. Can't me thinking I
- 19:45Speaker 1: was doing us and didn't know about it? Out to
- 19:50Speaker 1: play with people like this? Okay for you? All right?
- 19:53Speaker 1: He No, I'm nervously. It's your sister. She putting me
- 19:57Speaker 1: up to it. Baby. But when you ever see her,
- 19:59Speaker 1: you see what she looked like. I'm gonna beat the
- 20:01Speaker 1: hell out. I got one more question for you, baby,
- 20:05Speaker 1: You got to tell me this. What is the baddest
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 20:11Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. Yeah, you went too far. You
- 20:16Speaker 1: played too much. She even said if Ay Hour said it,
- 20:19Speaker 1: she didn't play too much. Yeah. The goal goal is
- 20:23Speaker 1: to play too much. The goal is to upset you.
- 20:25Speaker 1: The goal is to make you mad. And that is
- 20:27Speaker 1: a successful prank. Okay, to be stupid. And I think
- 20:34Speaker 1: I've accomplished all of it. So surely that's a lifestyle.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I like that. That is exactly why I said that,
- 20:44Speaker 1: Steve all right, coming up next, it is asked the
- 20:47Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. He is the CLO. Right
- 20:53Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 20:58Speaker 1: at the top of the hour and entertainment News Lebron
- 21:01Speaker 1: James says, Kyrie Irving can learn from his mistake, but
- 21:06Speaker 1: be allowed to play ball. Drake and twenty one Savage
- 21:09Speaker 1: of ensued for four million dollars for a fake Vogue

- 21:35Speaker 1: been touchy feely a lot lately, especially when he's drinking.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I'm crazy about him, and I had hoped he felt
- 21:44Speaker 1: the same way about me. How do I see if
- 21:46Speaker 1: he wants a relationship with me or if he just
- 21:49Speaker 1: wants sex? Touch him back? All right? All right? What
- 21:56Speaker 1: about he wants me? I want sign him? Told y'all
- 22:00Speaker 1: about these friendships. Man, When y'all gonna hear me, I
- 22:05Speaker 1: ain't making this up. Now, you're my best friend, heat
- 22:09Speaker 1: your friend? Yeah, I'm gonna do it. How do I
- 22:14Speaker 1: know he's gonna to ask him? Listen? I know you
- 22:18Speaker 1: have feelings to me, and I have feelings for you,
- 22:20Speaker 1: but I don't want a sexual relationship. I want a relationship.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Are you interested? And then take your friendship and then
- 22:28Speaker 1: stay when y'all go on dates. Now hold each other's hand,
- 22:32Speaker 1: do some hard kissing, and try to pull yourself together
- 22:35Speaker 1: and wait a little while. But you already know the
- 22:38Speaker 1: man because y'all been friends for so long. So now
- 22:43Speaker 1: what just find out if he want a relationship, bring
- 22:46Speaker 1: up the subject. He all in. It ain't the drinking.
- 22:49Speaker 1: It's him. It's been all along. It's been him, all right,
- 22:57Speaker 1: lor Lor Leon and Arber writes, I took my seven
- 23:01Speaker 1: year old daughter to the movies, and she said, hi,
- 23:05Speaker 1: miss Jay to the ladies she saw in line, to
- 23:08Speaker 1: a lady she saw online. Miss Jay looked shocked, and
- 23:11Speaker 1: she quickly got out of line and disappeared. My child said,
- 23:14Speaker 1: miss Jay was at the museum with her and daddy.
- 23:18Speaker 1: My husband denied it all and how can you have
- 23:21Speaker 1: another woman around my child? I was looking at artifacts.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Oh but hey that's miss Jay Jay, Hey, missus Jay,
- 23:34Speaker 1: Miss Jay gone? This line? She manis, how could he
- 23:46Speaker 1: have another woman around my child? I don't know, I
- 23:48Speaker 1: don't know, And you know what, sometimes the stupidity of me.
- 23:53Speaker 1: It just throws me off. Man. Listen, man, if you
- 23:58Speaker 1: gonna do dirt, go do dirt by your damn self.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Don't include nobody. Baby after museum for hi, miss Jake.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Now you're looking upside her head, about to burn a
- 24:13Speaker 1: hole in the top of her head. Now you in
- 24:16Speaker 1: that time, I know I ain't been to no museum.
- 24:18Speaker 1: When they'll go, well, how does she know miss Jake?
- 24:21Speaker 1: And where did miss Jake go? Where does she disappear to? Wow? Oh,
- 24:28Speaker 1: you better believe Miss Jay called him. You know who
- 24:32Speaker 1: I ran up into at the movies, Your wife and
- 24:34Speaker 1: your baby. And guess what your baby said? Hi, miss Jay, Hey,
- 24:39Speaker 1: miss Jay, and then told it she was the lady
- 24:44Speaker 1: after museum with me and daddy. No, that's what kids do.
- 24:51Speaker 1: They're honest. That's it. Jay about to get her. But
- 24:56Speaker 1: see right here, Doc did had to harry up and
- 24:58Speaker 1: come with Yeah, damn museum. That was the gas station.
- 25:03Speaker 1: We saw her at the gas station with that tone too.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Just turn it around, just yeah, hell yeah, you gotta
- 25:12Speaker 1: get on the office. Walking down the eyes looking at chips.
- 25:17Speaker 1: There wasn't no museum, girl. That was an eye with
- 25:20Speaker 1: all the cookies and stuff in it. They were selling
- 25:23Speaker 1: museum pies. What they got to do with the baby?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Knowing what I'm like, Yeah, what we got to get
- 25:31Speaker 1: a diversion, we gotta get just throw it off. All
- 25:35Speaker 1: you got to do now is throw a hand garnade
- 25:37Speaker 1: in the middle of the room. You don't give a
- 25:39Speaker 1: damn who it hit. You got to get a grenade
- 25:43Speaker 1: in the middle of that room. You know, she grilled
- 25:46Speaker 1: that baby, though she grilled her. All right, I'm moving
- 25:50Speaker 1: on to Tracy and te Neck. Tracy writes, my husband
- 25:54Speaker 1: and I are forty three years old and he has
- 25:56Speaker 1: a new twenty two year old in turn on his team.
- 26:00Speaker 1: He said, she is just naturally beautiful and she doesn't
- 26:04Speaker 1: wear makeup. She doesn't need makeup, she doesn't wear We've Meanwhile,
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'm wearing a wig and I wear makeup to work
- 26:11Speaker 1: every day. I don't think he said it to dis me,
- 26:16Speaker 1: but that's how I feel now. Am I overthinking it?
- 26:22Speaker 1: I don't know why? You know, once again, I guess
- 26:25Speaker 1: we owned a stupid clo day for men. We just
- 26:30Speaker 1: on the road with dumb ass stuff we're doing out here,
- 26:33Speaker 1: and you know, normally fellas, I try to get in
- 26:36Speaker 1: your corn and save you, But some of y'all is
- 26:39Speaker 1: doing unsavable behavior. You cannot discuss the beauty of another
- 26:46Speaker 1: woman with your wife ever. I don't give a damn
- 26:53Speaker 1: if they relate it. You didn't, you didn't notice her.
- 27:00Speaker 1: What who are you talking about? You're dumb behind and
- 27:05Speaker 1: came in the house and told her about a twenty
- 27:08Speaker 1: two year old intern that then started working for y'all.
- 27:11Speaker 1: And she's naturally beautiful. She don't make up, she don't
- 27:15Speaker 1: wear weeds or nothing, just stunningly gorgeous. Meanwhile, wife is
- 27:21Speaker 1: in her wig and everything with the wig and ain't
- 27:27Speaker 1: long makeup. It's not wrong with that. I am a
- 27:32Speaker 1: proponent of it. Yes, clap put it on to do
- 27:38Speaker 1: what you want to do with it. And can you
- 27:41Speaker 1: hold my hand when we go out? But now when
- 27:48Speaker 1: you do take it off, can we still hold hands?
- 27:52Speaker 1: And I know whose hand I'm holding. That's all my
- 27:55Speaker 1: request is. I got you got to take the hair,
- 28:00Speaker 1: I got you gotta take makeup off. I ain't got
- 28:02Speaker 1: no problem with that. But when we're holding hands, can
- 28:05Speaker 1: I still know you? It's all I'm asking because I'm
- 28:10Speaker 1: telling you, man Instagram man, my kids have really showed
- 28:14Speaker 1: me how this work man, between filters and these new
- 28:19Speaker 1: makeup that they got out. These women are changing. They
- 28:23Speaker 1: take all lines out their face. Yeah, if you have makeup,
- 28:31Speaker 1: do that. I mean they look like love. It's it's amazing, man,
- 28:37Speaker 1: what they do. And they take that makeup off and
- 28:40Speaker 1: it's two different people. I'll watch this girl on Instagram
- 28:43Speaker 1: the other day do the little makeup tutorial. And just
- 28:46Speaker 1: to show you this high powerful my makeup bills, I went,
- 28:49Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, got some feel tattooed on your ass.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:02Speaker 1: some entertainment news. You're to take it off. You need
- 29:05Speaker 1: to turn your make up into a tattoo. Ye, thank you, Philo,
- 29:11Speaker 1: you're listening to show. We gotta take a moment to
- 29:17Speaker 1: say Happy Veterans Day to all our veterans out there.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Thank you so much for your service. Yes, Dave, we
- 29:24Speaker 1: appreciate you, We love you, Thank you, thank you. Yes
- 29:29Speaker 1: he is My husband is a veteran, Yes he is. Yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 1: Veterans Day, Tash. I want to thank all y'all myself
- 29:38Speaker 1: personally for doing something I know I could never do.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Thank you. I marry on Dave Hines on the show.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Happy Veterans Day, Dave. You know anybody that can sign
- 29:53Speaker 1: up with the same thing as everybody else? All right,
- 29:57Speaker 1: more you it's about blue, much more than that, Steve
- 30:02Speaker 1: you got the head is in another color, green and beige.
- 30:13Speaker 1: This is it, y'all ain't got this in purple. Well,
- 30:20Speaker 1: moving on to to Lebron James. Lebron came to his
- 30:24Speaker 1: former teammate Kyrie Irving's defense on Twitter yesterday. Lebron tweeted, quote,
- 30:29Speaker 1: I told you guys that I don't believe in shaming
- 30:32Speaker 1: her full and sharing her full information, and I'll continue
- 30:36Speaker 1: to be that way. But Kyrie apologized, and he should
- 30:40Speaker 1: be able to play. That's what I think. It's that simple.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Help him learn, but he should be playing. What he's
- 30:47Speaker 1: asked to do to get back on the floor I
- 30:49Speaker 1: think is excessive. In my opinion, He's not the person
- 30:54Speaker 1: that's being betrayed portrayed of him. Anyways, back to my
- 30:58Speaker 1: rehab session, Lebron, Well, you know, I don't know where
- 31:01Speaker 1: the Players Association is on this one right here, because
- 31:04Speaker 1: they should get behind this guy because he apologized as
- 31:10Speaker 1: all he can do. Everybody else apologizing get the role
- 31:13Speaker 1: on with their life. Isn't the fact that he didn't
- 31:16Speaker 1: apologize when they want it, when they wanted him to
- 31:19Speaker 1: apologize that, and they didn't believe his apology, Dove or not,
- 31:25Speaker 1: you don't have to you have to apologize. The sincerity
- 31:29Speaker 1: comes from within your heart. You don't know what a
- 31:31Speaker 1: man's heart is. A true intent if he apologized just
- 31:35Speaker 1: to keep his job, So what the apology was made?
- 31:39Speaker 1: Y'all setting up in him? Man, it's some politicians that
- 31:42Speaker 1: said worse than that, and ain't nothing happened to him
- 31:46Speaker 1: that a man apologized for making what he said was
- 31:49Speaker 1: he didn't realize it, but he made a hurtful statement. Yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 1: game without pay, giving a list of tasks to complete
- 31:59Speaker 1: before he is reinstated. Now, listen, he refused to apologize
- 32:04Speaker 1: at first. Yeah, that's caused the issue at first. But
- 32:08Speaker 1: then well, like you said, Steve, he still apologized. He recognized.
- 32:12Speaker 1: He put a documentary on as well. So I didn't
- 32:14Speaker 1: even see what he did. I just know. Yeah, he
- 32:17Speaker 1: tweeted a link to this anti Semitic film. That's what
- 32:20Speaker 1: he did. It's called the film is called He Bruised
- 32:23Speaker 1: to Negroes, Wake Up Black America. Okay, but now listen
- 32:27Speaker 1: to me, and it was some ain't nothing happened to them? Who? Who? Who?
- 32:34Speaker 1: Who do link go to? And Kyrie did not He
- 32:38Speaker 1: did not say that he didn't think that there was
- 32:41Speaker 1: no Holocaust. That's the other thing that he didn't do.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Excuse me? Did who put this film out? And who? Amazon? Amazon? Okay?
- 32:53Speaker 1: Where Amazon's rolled in this act? Y'all? Y'all scared to
- 32:57Speaker 1: say something? Jeff Bezos what he got too much money?
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't know who put it out? Yeah, you can
- 33:05Speaker 1: purchase it. Well, if it's on Amazon, they are the
- 33:09Speaker 1: ones that's making available for viewing. Ain't that Amazon be
- 33:13Speaker 1: a lot stronger than Kyrie Irvin's Instagram link? Yes? If
- 33:21Speaker 1: your ass ain't gonna hold Amazon responsive for being the
- 33:26Speaker 1: housing unit for it, how is Kyrie RESPONSI I mean,
- 33:32Speaker 1: like you said, he apologized. He should be allowed at
- 33:36Speaker 1: this point. Can't You can't. You can't beat the one
- 33:40Speaker 1: person where he get it from, who made the film?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Where I ain't heard nothing happening to them? They made
- 33:47Speaker 1: the whole damn film. You can't be forgiven for nothing.
- 33:53Speaker 1: You can't. You can't cancel culture culture. You apologize and
- 34:00Speaker 1: they still want to cancel you but you can watch
- 34:02Speaker 1: the movie somewhere. Who has a movie available? Ain't none
- 34:06Speaker 1: happening into them? Amazon Prem then Amazon Prem. Why are
- 34:11Speaker 1: they not coming after them? Who knows? Steve? I mean, well,
- 34:16Speaker 1: you know, but I'm confused. All Right, We're gonna move on.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Condie Nast Media is suing rappers Drake and twenty one
- 34:25Speaker 1: Savage for using the Vogue brand without its permission. The
- 34:30Speaker 1: order requires Drake and twenty one Savage to stop distributing
- 34:33Speaker 1: fake Vogue magazine covers with their images on it to
- 34:36Speaker 1: promote their new album, Her Loss, and block them from
- 34:40Speaker 1: using animator's name and likeness. Hearing a schedule for November
- 34:45Speaker 1: twenty second, and Condie Nast is asking for four million
- 34:50Speaker 1: dollars from Drake and twenty one Savage in damages four
- 34:53Speaker 1: million dollars. Her Loss was released last Friday with the
- 34:57Speaker 1: fake press tour, a freake Saturday Night like performance, a stage,
- 35:01Speaker 1: tiny desk concert, and the fake Vogue magazine cover. It
- 35:06Speaker 1: looks really real to the cover. Yeah, Vogue was mad, Yeah,
- 35:11Speaker 1: Vogue was mad. Oh Vogue go get some money. Yeah.
- 35:21Speaker 1: And finally, newly divorced Gazelle Bunching just closed on an
- 35:25Speaker 1: eleven and a half million dollars state in the Miami
- 35:28Speaker 1: Beach area. Now, this house is right across the bay
- 35:31Speaker 1: from where her ex husband Tom Brady is building his
- 35:34Speaker 1: huge estate. So I guess so they can compare. That's
- 35:39Speaker 1: cool water, all right, Coming up in twenty minutes after
- 35:46Speaker 1: Senator Raphael Warnock team is confident that he will claim
- 35:50Speaker 1: victory in the Georgia runoff election. We'll get into that
- 35:53Speaker 1: right after this, because we're in the liner. I'm gonna
- 35:56Speaker 1: move across the screen from Jackondale. You're listening Stave Harvey
- 36:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. Democratic Senator Raphael Warnox campaign laid out its
- 36:06Speaker 1: strategy for the runoff in Georgia for his Senate seat
- 36:09Speaker 1: coming up December sixth. In a memo yesterday, Warnox campaign
- 36:13Speaker 1: manager Quentin Folks confidently claimed victory, emphasizing that this race
- 36:18Speaker 1: is about who is best able to represent the state
- 36:22Speaker 1: of Georgia. He called Warnock a quote proven vote getter
- 36:26Speaker 1: and deemed his Republican opponent, Herschel Walker as quote completely
- 36:31Speaker 1: unqualified for a job that requires knowledge of the issues
- 36:35Speaker 1: and and an interest in listening and learning. Okay, According
- 36:42Speaker 1: to top elections officials, Bret Official Brad Raffensburger. Georgia counties
- 36:47Speaker 1: are already preparing for the December sixth election, and voters
- 36:51Speaker 1: can request absentee ballots starting Wednesday through November twenty eighth
- 36:56Speaker 1: on Georgie's Secretary of States my voter site. So there
- 37:00Speaker 1: you go, do this all over again. But it's worth it.

- 46:04Speaker 1: I need to get this as soon as possible. Man,
- 46:06Speaker 1: Can I possibly pick up these supplies like in the
- 46:08Speaker 1: next couple of hours? Uh? Well, you know, normally don't
- 46:11Speaker 1: work that fat kind of a quick turnaround. We got
- 46:13Speaker 1: a little bit of a backup, but I can. I
- 46:14Speaker 1: can get my bastis to depends on what you need. Okay,
- 46:17Speaker 1: here's here's what I need. Man. I need five rolls
- 46:20Speaker 1: of duct tape. Okay, that's no problem, that's quick. Okay,
- 46:24Speaker 1: I need plastic man, listen, if you was gonna wrap
- 46:27Speaker 1: up something in plastic that's like about uh, six foot
- 46:31Speaker 1: two in height and two hundred pounds, how much plastic
- 46:35Speaker 1: you think I would need to wrap to wrap that up?
- 46:37Speaker 1: In this the second you're you're asking for plastics like
- 46:39Speaker 1: a roll of plastics. Yeah, but I'm telling I need
- 46:42Speaker 1: to wrap up something that six foot two and like
- 46:44Speaker 1: two hundred and ten pounds. H. I probably wouldn't get
- 46:47Speaker 1: about three yards four yards of plastic. Okay, okay, I
- 46:50Speaker 1: need to get that. Then let me ask you this here.
- 46:53Speaker 1: If you was gonna try to put some seamen on
- 46:56Speaker 1: that to hold it down, how much seamen you think
- 46:58Speaker 1: I hold that down? I'm confused. You you're running the
- 47:01Speaker 1: roofing company, right, Yeah, I'm a roofer company, but I'm
- 47:03Speaker 1: doing a little side work for some friends of mine.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, I just got a little confused. Can
- 47:08Speaker 1: you tell me it's the collegers and company? No problem,
- 47:09Speaker 1: no problem. We've got some man, Lenny, You're you're you're
- 47:12Speaker 1: trying to hold something now, I'm trying to I'm trying
- 47:15Speaker 1: to hold something down. So how many bags to see? Men?
- 47:18Speaker 1: Do you think I need to hold out something? That's
- 47:20Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty pounds. Wow, I don't know else
- 47:24Speaker 1: eight bags, eight bags, eight bags I would recommend at least. Okay, okay,
- 47:29Speaker 1: give me eight bags to see men. Now, just something else.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I want to ask you. Do you have anything any
- 47:34Speaker 1: type of cleaner, man, that can get that can get blood,
- 47:36Speaker 1: I mean a paint off the floor. Yeah, we got
- 47:38Speaker 1: industrial cleaners. I mean all kinds of industrial cleaners that
- 47:42Speaker 1: you said, paint the paint of blood. U paint, pray, pray.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, I mean I've got industrial cleaners, all
- 47:48Speaker 1: kind and you have the preference. No, just whatever you
- 47:51Speaker 1: could throw in there. I need that. Now, let me
- 47:53Speaker 1: ask you this here. Do you have anything that can
- 47:55Speaker 1: like just kill a smell? You know what I'm saying
- 47:58Speaker 1: that if you know, if you don't want something to smell,
- 48:00Speaker 1: you got anything for that? Wait? Mane something something something
- 48:03Speaker 1: die in your place? Is this place? Is something something?
- 48:05Speaker 1: Did you like, yeah, there an animal or something you found?
- 48:08Speaker 1: I mean I'm kind of confused as you're talking about
- 48:10Speaker 1: smell and clean it up? Did you find some sort
- 48:11Speaker 1: of animal on a construction A rabbi? Listen, man, just
- 48:15Speaker 1: take the older. That's all I need you to do. Okay, Okay, no,
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I wasn't asking your business. I just it
- 48:20Speaker 1: was a little concerned. What are we getting? What are
- 48:22Speaker 1: we cleaning up? And what do we I mean, I guess,
- 48:25Speaker 1: are we clean up a tile ford? To clean up carpet?
- 48:27Speaker 1: I mean, what's the what's the cleaner form? What's what?
- 48:29Speaker 1: Where's the odor? Sir? All, I'm asking you? Do you
- 48:32Speaker 1: ask something strong one though? Like do you think ammonia
- 48:35Speaker 1: can can keep a smell down? What do I need
- 48:37Speaker 1: to keep a smell down? You're definitely gonna need ammonia.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I mean, you gotta get something. Just scrub that right down.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Because whoever that sense is, if it's in your if
- 48:45Speaker 1: it's in the walls, if you got fabrics in that place,
- 48:47Speaker 1: I mean whatever, whatever you got it, you probably have
- 48:49Speaker 1: to have a different type of deodorize or something for
- 48:51Speaker 1: the carpets of them, for the walls. I mean, I
- 48:53Speaker 1: don't I guess. I guess it's kind of confused as
- 48:56Speaker 1: to as to where the sense coming from. And don't
- 49:00Speaker 1: worry about all that, man, Hey man, listen, just just
- 49:02Speaker 1: right down what the order is? Okay, I got it? You?
- 49:06Speaker 1: I got the five olds duct tape. I got to
- 49:08Speaker 1: the four yards of plastic, got the eight back of cement,
- 49:10Speaker 1: I got the industrial clean, I got the ammonia. I'm I'm, I'm,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm typing it all in. I got I've got your order. Okay,
- 49:14Speaker 1: let me a man, do y'all? Hell uh? Any type
- 49:17Speaker 1: of machete, anything that's real shop that can cut? What? Okay? Okay,
- 49:22Speaker 1: hold on a second, and now now you're completely off base.
- 49:25Speaker 1: You do realize you call the hardware store, right, I'm
- 49:27Speaker 1: calling the hardware stokers. I need some supplies, man, I'm
- 49:29Speaker 1: doing the job on the side. I need some supplies.
- 49:31Speaker 1: I get there. You can, you said there already, But
- 49:33Speaker 1: I'm confused about it. Now you're asking for a weapon.
- 49:36Speaker 1: What what what would you use in machetting for? I mean,
- 49:38Speaker 1: you're you're talking about what you're gonna chop down some
- 49:41Speaker 1: some some brush. I don't, I don't, I don't get it.
- 49:43Speaker 1: What's the macheting for? Hey? Man, listen, listen. Your job
- 49:46Speaker 1: is to take the order, man, that's your job. Robbie.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Don't tell me what my job is. I know what
- 49:51Speaker 1: my job is. This is my store, man, Okay. I've
- 49:54Speaker 1: been working here a lot longer. Than you even can imatchine,
- 49:57Speaker 1: And people don't call up asking for I'm own your
- 50:00Speaker 1: and and cleaner and trying to get a smell out.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I mean what I just I'm trying to think about
- 50:05Speaker 1: how best to help you. I'm sorry I'm doing Robbie.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Is you be a nosy? You be a nosy. All
- 50:10Speaker 1: you gotta do is field the order and haven't haven't
- 50:12Speaker 1: done in two hours when I get there. That's all
- 50:14Speaker 1: you gotta do. I can't do that in two hours.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I can't even I go back up with this point.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I'm not even sure I can get this done. Maybe
- 50:23Speaker 1: tomorrow morning, just tomorrow morning, work four year Oh man,
- 50:25Speaker 1: I got to get rid of this body. I got
- 50:27Speaker 1: to get rid of this got today. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I need to call listen, I need to call the policeman.
- 50:34Speaker 1: You just hit bodies, really sell the man. That right there.
- 50:38Speaker 1: That's about white people always want to call the police
- 50:40Speaker 1: when it ain't got nothing to do with them. Listen.
- 50:43Speaker 1: All you need to do is field the order. Okay, Okay,
- 50:47Speaker 1: you're listen. I need to tell you something, okay, And
- 50:51Speaker 1: I don't know if you if you found a body.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I don't know if they're respondful from the body either
- 50:55Speaker 1: A way. I don't want to be any part of
- 50:56Speaker 1: this business. Okay. I don't know why you're planning or
- 50:58Speaker 1: where you're trying to bury this thing, but you're basically
- 51:01Speaker 1: asking me to be a coplice to something that's none
- 51:03Speaker 1: of my business. Hey, I need your name right now? Okay?
- 51:06Speaker 1: What I am not giving you my name? You say
- 51:09Speaker 1: all those trufing Hey, hey, listen to me. You said
- 51:12Speaker 1: your call from Truth and Company? Are you? I'm not?
- 51:15Speaker 1: I'm not? Hey man, let me tell you something. Why
- 51:17Speaker 1: are your wife folks always trying to be a bar?
- 51:19Speaker 1: Tell you like that? Why are you are always acting like?
- 51:21Speaker 1: Why are you folks? What's your problem? Some something about
- 51:24Speaker 1: wife folks, something about purple green, black, blue woman? It's
- 51:27Speaker 1: talking about why it's what you're asking for that sounds
- 51:29Speaker 1: like trying to bury your body. Okay, that's what I'm
- 51:31Speaker 1: trying to figure out. Are you? And if you're not?
- 51:33Speaker 1: What is your name? I need your name? Your name

- 51:46Speaker 1: so you I'm talking like this too. Okay, I'm gonna
- 51:50Speaker 1: Traci call. Do you hear me? I'm gonna Tracy this call.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna get the cops on your and figure out
- 51:54Speaker 1: who the you are? Okay, okay, well let me let
- 51:57Speaker 1: me ask you this. Since you want to know who

- 52:02Speaker 1: Marcus he works here, man, I at knowing him. Okay,

- 52:23Speaker 1: over there, I see you. I can't believe that. Who
- 52:28Speaker 1: son of a Marcus? Why don't you tell me this?
- 52:33Speaker 1: Your baby? I gotta ask you, Robber, you gotta tell
- 52:35Speaker 1: me this, man. What is the baddest and I mean
- 52:38Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, that's easiest Steve

- 52:46Speaker 1: don't discriminate you white folks always acting authoritative? What she

- 54:10Speaker 1: right here could be yours. That's right. In the words
- 54:13Speaker 1: of Tommy buckle up, hold on tight, we got it,
- 54:15Speaker 1: funk it is Strawberry live. Thank you, junior subject. I
- 54:19Speaker 1: have fake royalty living with me, okay, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I met my husband on a dating site and we
- 54:27Speaker 1: dated for eight months, got married, and we bought a
- 54:30Speaker 1: house right after our wedding. He's thirty nine and I'm
- 54:34Speaker 1: thirty six years old. We had talked about having children,
- 54:38Speaker 1: but then his father moved into our home and we've
- 54:41Speaker 1: been too busy trying to meet his demands. I'm married
- 54:44Speaker 1: an African man and his father lives with us because
- 54:47Speaker 1: he is going through his fourth divorce. I see why
- 54:52Speaker 1: he can't keep a wife. His ex wife says he
- 54:56Speaker 1: has too many rules. He has special sheets that have
- 54:59Speaker 1: to be washing a certain detergent and hung out to
- 55:02Speaker 1: air dry. I have to leave Sundays open for him
- 55:05Speaker 1: to do his laundry. I have to buy a high
- 55:08Speaker 1: end bottled water in glass bottles, and he will only
- 55:11Speaker 1: drink out of my crystal glasses that were a wedding gift.
- 55:15Speaker 1: There are so many stupid rules, and my husband allows
- 55:19Speaker 1: his father to live out his Coming to America fantasy
- 55:22Speaker 1: like he's a king. He's just an old, crazy man
- 55:25Speaker 1: that can't keep a woman. To me, I am sharing
- 55:28Speaker 1: a car with him, and he detests it because it
- 55:31Speaker 1: doesn't have the new car smells. It's a twenty seven
- 55:35Speaker 1: twenty seventeen Toyota, so it smells like one. The biggest
- 55:39Speaker 1: hell know moment for me was when he had a
- 55:43Speaker 1: female visitor at our house and he told my husband
- 55:45Speaker 1: and I to stay in our bedroom until he called us.
- 55:49Speaker 1: He treated my husband like he was a servant in
- 55:51Speaker 1: his own house. I refused to play the part of
- 55:54Speaker 1: the maid, so I stayed in the back when he
- 55:56Speaker 1: called for me. I don't have any time for games
- 55:59Speaker 1: with this man. My husband wants to please him, but
- 56:02Speaker 1: this is ridiculous. What's worse is his dad doesn't contribute
- 56:06Speaker 1: any money. He's just using us until he meets and
- 56:09Speaker 1: marries his next wife. How do I get this fake
- 56:12Speaker 1: African king out of my home immediately? Please help? Well,
- 56:18Speaker 1: unless your husband stands up to his father, that's not
- 56:21Speaker 1: going to happen. And I mean, I gotta say, your
- 56:24Speaker 1: husband really needs to grow a pair. I mean, for real,
- 56:27Speaker 1: this is his house and his father, the King of Zamunda,
- 56:31Speaker 1: is out of order. He's just wrong about this. Your
- 56:35Speaker 1: grown husband won't stand up to him, though, because it
- 56:38Speaker 1: sounds like he's too scared. Have you told your husband
- 56:41Speaker 1: how you feel? There wasn't any mention of that in
- 56:44Speaker 1: the letter. Neither your husband or his dad are considering
- 56:49Speaker 1: your feelings. So why can't your husband just share his
- 56:53Speaker 1: car with his dad instead of making you share yours?
- 56:56Speaker 1: That's a question I have, And you know, and I
- 56:59Speaker 1: know it's a cultural thing, but using people and taking
- 57:02Speaker 1: advantage of them is the same all around the world.
- 57:07Speaker 1: I don't care where you go, it's the same thing.
- 57:09Speaker 1: A user is a user. I'm sure you wouldn't mind
- 57:12Speaker 1: so much of his dad wasn't so demanding if he
- 57:15Speaker 1: was a nice person and all of that. But you
- 57:19Speaker 1: know he's demanding, and it's a turn off to you.
- 57:22Speaker 1: So I gotta ask you, is there another sibling or
- 57:25Speaker 1: another relative somewhere that his dad can stay with to
- 57:28Speaker 1: share some of this load, take some of this burden
- 57:32Speaker 1: off you guys. If so, I suggest you guys call
- 57:35Speaker 1: them and work out a visit from dad with them.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I mean, it's just nothing like someone taking over control
- 57:41Speaker 1: of your house that you paid for. You said he
- 57:45Speaker 1: contributes nothing financially, right, Well, I think you should also
- 57:48Speaker 1: be concerned because of that that he may never leave
- 57:51Speaker 1: because he has no money. So you need to start
- 57:55Speaker 1: thinking about moving forward with the exit plan now because
- 57:59Speaker 1: the day has gotten way too comfortable. Steve, Well, I
- 58:04Speaker 1: don't know who I'm about to feel with this response,
- 58:07Speaker 1: so let me just start with apologizing to anybody might
- 58:10Speaker 1: be from this culture that I don't understand. Now listen
- 58:14Speaker 1: to me. This isn't about him being an African or not,
- 58:16Speaker 1: because I'm African American, so I relate. Secondly, I'm not
- 58:22Speaker 1: really sure this has anything to do with him being African.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I think this has more to do with him having,
- 58:31Speaker 1: you know, manipulated his way through life with women and
- 58:35Speaker 1: controlled his son by forcing his son to respect him
- 58:39Speaker 1: and in every aspect of life, which is a good
- 58:42Speaker 1: thing for a son to respect his father. But when
- 58:46Speaker 1: he's going to this level that you all are taking
- 58:49Speaker 1: it too, it's manipulation and he uses women and he
- 58:54Speaker 1: thinks he's This guy's real problem is he thinking more
- 58:57Speaker 1: than he really is, and he's convinced other people to
- 59:02Speaker 1: treat him that way. Now, you met your husband on
- 59:05Speaker 1: the dating site y'all day, and eight months got married.
- 59:08Speaker 1: You don't know nobody in eight months ain't been no trials.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Tribulations ain't been enough ups and downs. You gotta go
- 59:13Speaker 1: through several things for your married persons so you can
- 59:16Speaker 1: get several ways to measure their ability to handle hardship.
- 59:21Speaker 1: He thirty nine, you're thirty six. We talked about having children,
- 59:25Speaker 1: but then his father moved into our home, and we've
- 59:27Speaker 1: been why why why did his father have to move
- 59:32Speaker 1: into y'all's house? Y'all? Why I'm married an African man
- 59:39Speaker 1: and his father lives with us because he's gone through
- 59:42Speaker 1: his fourth divorce. That ain't no reason for him to
- 59:46Speaker 1: come live with y'all. I see why I can't keep
- 59:49Speaker 1: a wife. His ex wife says he got too many rules,
- 59:52Speaker 1: so listen to me. He got special sheets that have
- 59:54Speaker 1: to be washed in a certain detergent and hung out
- 59:57Speaker 1: the air drive. So that means he got out of
- 59:59Speaker 1: that win with some sheets. That marriage he left with
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: just with some sheets. I gotta leave Sunday's open for
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: him to do his laundry. Well, you don't want to
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: do launder on Sunday. I got about high end bottle

- 1:21:12Speaker 1: lot more rapidly. And I think they're innovative thinkers. I
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: really really do. I'm watching them find new ways to
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: make money and things of that nature. But I'm talking
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: about to our young men out here. I'm just talking
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: to brothers right now. And the reason I feel okay
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: with talking to you is because I've been one my
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: entire life. The proudest day of my life as a
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: black man was the Million Man March on October I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: think it was sixteenth, nineteen. I think that's when the
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Million Man March was. It was the greatest day of
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: my life as an African American man. I never felt
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: more pride in being who I was. It was the
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: most gratifying and fulfilling day for me as a black man.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: October sixteenth, nineteen ninety five. That sensation standing on that
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: hill Washington, d C. Stepping over people in complete darkness
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: at four thirty in the morning, just hoping four hundred
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: thousand or one hundred thousand brothers would show up. And
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: when that light came up over that hill and I
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: turned around and that whole mall was covered with black
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: men and police officers were on horses, and they shut
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: the city down. In the end, patty wagons lined all
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: up ready for it. A police officer got down off
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: the horse and said, I know you. I've seen you
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: on the Apollo before. He said, I want to tell
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: you something. I'm sorry. I said, You're sorry for WhatsUp?
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: He said, for prejudging you. He said, I thought this
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: was going to be the one of the worst days
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: of crime and held in this city. And we look
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: at us, we were already, he said. We haven't had
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: a single arrest. He said, Man, I apologize. Great event today.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I'm saying all that to say, I think I've earned
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: the right to talk to my brothers. I think I
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: have because I've spent my entire career trying to be
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: one that y'all can look at and go, hey, man,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: that's my dude right there now. I got my share
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: of haters. I don't even care about them. They're relevant
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: to me. They don't stop anything God has for me.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: But brothers and young brothers, we got to do better
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: towards one another. We got to start respecting and honoring
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: who we really are. I already know that this conversation
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: that I'm having is not going to change many things.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: But I'm talking to brothers my age and the generation
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: up under me, the jay Z's and the LLL cou Jays,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: the generation right behind me. We've got to do something
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: to try to turn the tide. We have to do
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: something mad because we're the only ones that can fix
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: this problem, because we're the only ones that know the solution.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: The government is not going to help us. There are
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: no policies that's going to help us. We've got to
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: get together and mentor these young men. We've got to
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: get together and talk to these young men. And we
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: got to get together and start checking some of them.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: And now, look, man, I don't mean that in a
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: negative sense. Young men at all, your brothers out there
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: banging and slanging and all is head and doing what
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: you think you got to do to survive. I'm sorry man,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: that it can't be at the expense of the rest
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: of us. It just can. We've got to find another way.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: We've got to find another way to teach our young
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: men that they can operate in this system, even though
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: the system is geared towards not even though the system
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: is geared against them. We have to find a way
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to talk to our young brothers. But it's gonna take
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: the men to do it. We've got to get more mentoring.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: All of these fraternities, man, or every single frat, every
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: single sorority that's in the divine nine. We got to
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: do something. Man. All of our mantras Omega sci fi
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: ka side a five A five Beta Sigma I olders,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: all of you, our mantras should be to mentor and
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: change the lives of the generation of young men behind us.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: It's the only way they will respond. If you stop
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: a young brother and you say, hey, man, let me
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: talk to you. What you want to be in life? Man,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: you look like you got something going on. Let me
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: talk to you for a minute. You can get their attention.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Stop telling me that they don't listen. We ain't talking
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to them, and where we get and when we talk
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: to them, we got to hear what they're saying. But
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: we got to do more than what we're doing. I
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: ain't just saying that because I got a mentoring program.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I know what mentoring does. And we've got to get
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: to these young men. And the only people can get
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: to these young men is black men. Because we know
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: exactly who they are, why they feel the way they feel.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: We can implement mentoring nationwide that can put a debt
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: in this problem that we have. It. We have the
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: solution because we full well know what the problem is.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: I'm just saying, man, we got to do something. Now.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: I'm fitting to be on one with this one. I'm
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: gonna be on this one four minute, so get ready.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: And oh, by the way, we do have to vote.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: But no matter who getting in office, we can steal
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: mentor those are my closing remarks. We're gonna stay on
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: this one for a while. Not to be offensive to anybody,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: not to say that anybody's not to do doing nothing,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: because that's not what I'm saying. I'm just trying to
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: get more people to do more things. That's all. Y'all
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: have a great thing. Man, Hey, talk to God today.
