Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Kamala/Oprah FAKE Interview a Disaster just like the New Polling Numbers
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There are a lot of polls that have just come out,
- 0:04Speaker 1: a lot of polls that deal with Kamala Harris and
- 0:07Speaker 1: Donald Trump and where we are in this election as
- 0:11Speaker 1: we're about fifty days out, and there are some takeaways
- 0:16Speaker 1: from these polls, But one of them that is very
- 0:19Speaker 1: glaring is this Gallup's latest poll finds that Trump's favorability
- 0:25Speaker 1: is actually better than Kamala Harris, flashing a red warning
- 0:31Speaker 1: to the Democratic Party. So what are they going to do?
- 0:35Speaker 1: They're trying to overcome that issue by talking about how
- 0:39Speaker 1: likable she is. Her husband went out and did a
- 0:43Speaker 1: massive interview the Second Gentleman on ABC their morning show,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and it was propaganda for eleven minutes about how great
- 0:52Speaker 1: she is. But I don't know if it's going to work.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton now coming out saying the same thing. In fact,
- 1:00Speaker 1: the entire Democratic Party now seems to be running out
- 1:03Speaker 1: and doing this now. According to a recent Gallop poll,
- 1:09Speaker 1: former President Trump is viewed more favorable than Harris. Forty
- 1:13Speaker 1: six percent rated Trump favorably, while forty four percent rated
- 1:20Speaker 1: Harris favorably. On the flip side, fifty three percent rated
- 1:25Speaker 1: Donald Trump unfavorably, and fifty four percent rated Harris unfavorably,
- 1:30Speaker 1: meaning that they are both individuals that basically either love.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Them or you hate them. There's not a lot in between.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Now, Midia I came out and called this a flashing
- 1:41Speaker 1: red warning sign for Harris. It really shouldn't be because
- 1:45Speaker 1: she had the lowest approval rating of any vice president
- 1:47Speaker 1: in history, and she got out of the president of
- 1:50Speaker 1: rates when she was pulling at one percent. So it
- 1:53Speaker 1: actually shouldn't be a warning sign. Now, I think what
- 1:56Speaker 1: the media thought they were going to be able to
- 1:57Speaker 1: do was Jedi mind tricking you by everybody to thinking
- 2:00Speaker 1: that Harris is amazing, even though Harris has been exposed
- 2:04Speaker 1: to the American people, and I'm not talking about like
- 2:06Speaker 1: in an expose, like her values. I'm saying you've seen
- 2:10Speaker 1: enough of her to have an opinion about her. She
- 2:15Speaker 1: ran for president, she then ran for vice president, she
- 2:18Speaker 1: ran for vice president again. Now all of a sudden,
- 2:20Speaker 1: on a nowhere president, no one's voted for her.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Media.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I put it this way quote, while the numbers are
- 2:25Speaker 1: similar and within the margin of air, they illustrate a
- 2:28Speaker 1: shift that should serve as a flashing red warning sign
- 2:32Speaker 1: for the Harris campaign. Since August Harris's unfavorable rating has
- 2:36Speaker 1: gone up five points. So since they had the Democratic Convention,
- 2:43Speaker 1: Harris's unfavorable rating has gone up five points, while Trump's
- 2:47Speaker 1: has actually gone down two. On the other side, Trump's
- 2:51Speaker 1: favorability has gone up five points while Harris's has gone
- 2:55Speaker 1: down three. Trump winning over Americans at the stage in
- 2:59Speaker 1: the campaign and after being omnipresent on the national stage
- 3:03Speaker 1: for the last eight plus years, is a brutal indictment
- 3:06Speaker 1: for Harris of how many Americans view their matchup, they
- 3:10Speaker 1: write in this article.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Historically, neither Trump nor Harris has.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Held a high rating in this poll, with both languishing
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the thirty six to thirty seven percent favorability range
- 3:24Speaker 1: for most of twenty twenty three, with Trump's numbers starting
- 3:28Speaker 1: to tick up after he announced another White House run
- 3:30Speaker 1: in late twenty twenty three, Harris's numbers surged all the
- 3:34Speaker 1: way to forty seven percent following her becoming the party's nominee.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But sense of dipped again because as much as you
- 3:41Speaker 1: try to dress her up, it does not seem to
- 3:43Speaker 1: be working with the American people. For most Harris supporters,
- 3:49Speaker 1: it is all about the inconceivable idea that more Americans
- 3:54Speaker 1: could like Trump than Harris, but according to Gallup, this
- 3:58Speaker 1: is a very real possibility. And when Harris's camp doesn't
- 4:01Speaker 1: seem ready to combat, they don't know how to do it. Well,
- 4:06Speaker 1: we now know what the new game plan is to
- 4:08Speaker 1: combat it. You send people out on TV and you
- 4:11Speaker 1: talk about how nice she is. I want to take
- 4:15Speaker 1: a moment and talk to you about crime in America
- 4:18Speaker 1: and being able to protect yourself increase. Crime and violence
- 4:21Speaker 1: around the country is well off the charts in many cities,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and we need to remember that personal safety and security
- 4:28Speaker 1: for you and your family is the most important thing
- 4:30Speaker 1: in life. So what if there was a way to
- 4:32Speaker 1: effectively defend yourself and de escalate a situation without the
- 4:37Speaker 1: irreversible consequences of deadly force. Do you really want to
- 4:42Speaker 1: pull the trigger and deal with the financial and mental repercussions. Well,
- 4:46Speaker 1: don't compromise on your peace of mind. This is why
- 4:50Speaker 1: I want you to know about the BURNA less lethal
- 4:53Speaker 1: pistol launcher. A BURNA can save two lives. Great compliment
- 4:59Speaker 1: as well to owning a firearm, And if you or
- 5:03Speaker 1: your family is in a situation where you feel threatened,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you need to start with less lethal legal in all
- 5:09Speaker 1: fifty states and no permits or background checks are needed. Now.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I own these myself, and I've also had to use
- 5:16Speaker 1: a real firearm to protect and defend my life. But
- 5:20Speaker 1: after that incident, I knew how important it was to
- 5:22Speaker 1: have a less lethal option. That's why I own this myself,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and they are great for your family members to have
- 5:28Speaker 1: as well. Now, maybe some of you have sent off
- 5:31Speaker 1: kids to school and they're not twenty one and you
- 5:33Speaker 1: want them to have a way to protect themselves.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Maybe you work in a place.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's a quote gun free zone and you need to
- 5:39Speaker 1: be able to protect yourself. Maybe you travel a lot
- 5:41Speaker 1: and you want to have something with you in your
- 5:43Speaker 1: hotel room without having to check a firearm. That is
- 5:47Speaker 1: exactly why you should check out Burnam. Burner is the answer,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and it's designed for easy use by all age groups
- 5:54Speaker 1: eighteen and over. The burn A launcher has powerful deterrence
- 5:58Speaker 1: like tear gas and cannet rounds with a sixty foot range.
- 6:04Speaker 1: One shot can incapacitate attackers for up to forty minutes.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Used by government agencies and law enforcement around the country,
- 6:13Speaker 1: and over a half million units have been sold. Fourteen thousand,
- 6:19Speaker 1: four and a half five star reviews as well. So
- 6:22Speaker 1: visit Berna dot com slash ferguson for ten percent off
- 6:28Speaker 1: your purchase. I have these, My family members have them
- 6:31Speaker 1: as well. Berna dot com slash ferguson for ten percent
- 6:35Speaker 1: off your purchase. That's by r Inna dot com slash
- 6:40Speaker 1: ferguson for ten percent off. That's by r in A.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm going to start with example one. Hillary Clinton has
- 6:48Speaker 1: a new book that's out. She's doing the book circuit.
- 6:51Speaker 1: She went on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night
- 6:56Speaker 1: and what she said is she has an addendum to
- 7:00Speaker 1: her book and they went into this and guess who
- 7:03Speaker 1: the addendum is. Well, I'll let you and I'll let
- 7:06Speaker 1: Jimmy Fallon figure this out. How much propaganda is coming
- 7:11Speaker 1: from the Harrison campaign in the first couple of minutes
- 7:13Speaker 1: of this interview.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You ready, yeah, you can clap sure, I want to
- 7:19Speaker 2: step on any clouds.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Let's talk about the book.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Is in the book on the audiobook especially you added
- 7:25Speaker 4: a little extra addendum to this because the whole campaign
- 7:30Speaker 4: has changed.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Can we talk about it for a second. Kamala Harris
- 7:34Speaker 2: is now denominee and yes, this is exciting.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Were you giving your advice?
- 7:43Speaker 2: Were you?
- 7:44Speaker 3: First? Of all?
- 7:45Speaker 5: You know, I had to turn the book in and
- 7:47Speaker 5: I turned it in before everything changed. Yeah, and it
- 7:52Speaker 5: was thrilling. President Biden did the right thing. It was
- 7:55Speaker 5: an act of patriotism for him to make that decision.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And you know, not a lot of.
- 8:02Speaker 5: People, and I could name one in particular, would give up.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Power literally wonder you're talking about.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he shall remain nameless.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Right, So this all happened, and.
- 8:17Speaker 5: I couldn't write about it because the book was at
- 8:19Speaker 5: the printer.
- 8:19Speaker 3: So I recorded.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I was recording the book, and I did an epilogue
- 8:24Speaker 5: talking about it, and you know, I sat down and
- 8:27Speaker 5: I thought, all right, how do I really honestly feel?
- 8:30Speaker 5: Because I try to be as you know, candid as
- 8:33Speaker 5: I possibly can personally politically in this book, I thought,
- 8:38Speaker 5: how how do I feel somebody I know, somebody I respect.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I'm woman, you know, snapping pencils.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm so excited for you graduations. Yeah, you did it.
- 8:55Speaker 5: The first but I had to I had to ask myself,
- 8:59Speaker 5: was that how I And the answer is no, I
- 9:01Speaker 5: was thrilled.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I was excited. I was a vilarted you are and
- 9:06Speaker 2: you know.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Partly because I know her.
- 9:09Speaker 5: I've known her for a long time. I know her sister,
- 9:13Speaker 5: I know her husband, I know the whole family. And
- 9:17Speaker 5: she has performed flawlessly, flawlessly and you know, being thrown
- 9:23Speaker 5: into the deep end the president endorsinger. Literally within a
- 9:26Speaker 5: minute or two, my husband and I endorsed her. I mean,
- 9:29Speaker 5: we just believed so strongly that she was the person
- 9:34Speaker 5: and she could not have had a better convention, and
- 9:38Speaker 5: she could not.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Have had a better debate. She had a debate, had a.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Great I love this like they're sending out Hillary Clinton,
- 9:44Speaker 1: by the way, which had a seventy four percent unfavorability
- 9:47Speaker 1: in the Democratic primary back when she was running for president,
- 9:53Speaker 1: to try to convince the American people that she's just amazing,
- 9:58Speaker 1: that Kamwa Harris is just incredible, that she's the greatest
- 10:02Speaker 1: thing ever. And you laugh because her words, it's obvious
- 10:08Speaker 1: this is pre planned by the campaign, right. I love
- 10:10Speaker 1: the level of joy and enthusiasm of the Harris campaign.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Is that actually an issue? Like I'm being serious, Is
- 10:20Speaker 1: that an issue?
- 10:21Speaker 6: No?
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't know if that's going to move the needle
- 10:26Speaker 2: at all. Now.
- 10:27Speaker 1: The question is is this going to be the new
- 10:30Speaker 1: strategy to somehow try to get people to like her
- 10:33Speaker 1: without having to talk about the issues, because when she
- 10:35Speaker 1: has to talk about the issues, she doesn't do well
- 10:38Speaker 1: and her likability drops even more. She did do this
- 10:42Speaker 1: sit down with Oprah, and it was a designed event
- 10:46Speaker 1: to say, see, we're doing interviews, but let's be clear,
- 10:50Speaker 1: Oprah is not an interview. Oprah spoke of the Democratic Convention.
- 10:54Speaker 1: She's not a journalist in this situation. She's a biased
- 10:58Speaker 1: individual who is putting on him a for TV show
- 11:02Speaker 1: to promote Kamala Harris, that is who she's endorsed.
- 11:06Speaker 2: So this isn't a real interview.
- 11:08Speaker 1: But they're trying to act like it's an interview even
- 11:10Speaker 1: though it's not an interview. And she did this interview
- 11:15Speaker 1: with Oprah, right they call it an interview. It's not
- 11:18Speaker 1: just sit down propaganda piece. And even CNN said this
- 11:23Speaker 1: is not going to work. This is not going to
- 11:26Speaker 1: be a strategy that works to avoid doing interviews.
- 11:31Speaker 2: You look at.
- 11:32Speaker 1: CNN and they're like, all right, look, we understand Oprah's
- 11:37Speaker 1: on the road. We understand that Oprah's going to sit down.
- 11:41Speaker 1: We understand they're trying to make it like it's an interview,
- 11:43Speaker 1: but it's not an interview. And I want you to
- 11:45Speaker 1: listen to this conversation on CNN about Harris Oprah appearing
- 11:50Speaker 1: at this Michigan event forty seven days until election day
- 11:54Speaker 1: and trying to pass it off as some.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Sort of real interview, which it clearly isn't.
- 12:00Speaker 7: The economy from abortion, how many people are sitting at
- 12:02Speaker 7: your kitchen table is a kitchen table issue.
- 12:05Speaker 3: So abortion is center.
- 12:06Speaker 8: Whether Oprah brings it to us or not, abortion will
- 12:09Speaker 8: be center to this.
- 12:10Speaker 7: Less events are, you know, part of a strategy that
- 12:13Speaker 7: the Harris campaign is putting out there, which is to
- 12:16Speaker 7: largely avoid doing interviews. They're not necessarily settings that put
- 12:20Speaker 7: her that where she shines, so they're doing this instead.
- 12:23Speaker 7: And this was very different for her. Might at work?
- 12:28Speaker 7: Will this be enough? I mean we have, you know,
- 12:30Speaker 7: less than fifty days until the next election, So.
- 12:34Speaker 3: The answer is it is not enough. It will work partly.
- 12:39Speaker 3: So let me explain.
- 12:45Speaker 2: This is a great event and.
- 12:46Speaker 8: It's good for her, and listen, especially with Oprah.
- 12:51Speaker 3: And an Oprah audience.
- 12:52Speaker 8: This is really really important for Kamala Harris because Donald
- 12:56Speaker 8: Trump has every base voter he's going to get. She
- 12:59Speaker 8: does not have every base voter she can get, and
- 13:02Speaker 8: she needs about ten points more black voters in places
- 13:06Speaker 8: like Georgia to be where she needs to be to
- 13:09Speaker 8: win these swing states. So these are incredibly important moments
- 13:13Speaker 8: for her.
- 13:14Speaker 3: They are not enough though.
- 13:15Speaker 8: She still has to sit down and answer questions.
- 13:18Speaker 3: I'm not inventing this.
- 13:20Speaker 8: I talked to swing state voters all day and what
- 13:22Speaker 8: they're telling me is, I'm still undecided because.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I haven't heard enough from Kamala Harris. They know who.
- 13:27Speaker 8: Donald Trump is, they don't know enough about Kamala Harris,
- 13:30Speaker 8: and they're not here for the soft interviews.
- 13:33Speaker 3: They want her.
- 13:33Speaker 8: To have to answer real questions about the problems they have.
- 13:37Speaker 2: This is them in their own words.
- 13:39Speaker 8: You don't have to take it from sc cup, take
- 13:40Speaker 8: it from the voters you need.
- 13:42Speaker 3: She needs more interviews, But can I ask you ask?
- 13:44Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Can I say to you they're right by the way.
- 13:47Speaker 1: This is a strategy to largely avoid doing interviews. And
- 13:51Speaker 1: if that is a conversation that they're having at CNN
- 13:53Speaker 1: right now, you can throw her out there on TV.
- 13:57Speaker 1: You can have Hillary Clinton say I love the level
- 13:58Speaker 1: of join enthusiasm the Hairs campaign. It's not enough you're
- 14:02Speaker 1: gonna have Oprah out there on stage with her.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It's not enough.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You gonna have Oprah out there having this conversation.
- 14:08Speaker 2: It is not enough.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And I'll play it again because Abby Phillips point she
- 14:13Speaker 1: makes here is absolutely right.
- 14:15Speaker 7: De vents, are you know, part of a strategy that
- 14:18Speaker 7: the Hars campaign is putting out there, which is to
- 14:21Speaker 7: largely avoid doing interviews. They're not necessarily settings that put
- 14:25Speaker 7: her where she shines, so they're doing this instead.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I mean, it's insane, like they're admitting it on CNN.
- 14:32Speaker 1: The candidate we are hiding from you. We are running
- 14:35Speaker 1: the basement, the Joe Biden basement strategy here, and we're
- 14:41Speaker 1: gonna have everybody else go out on TV and tell
- 14:45Speaker 1: you how great she is instead of us actually doing it.
- 14:47Speaker 1: A friend of mine, Mary Katherine ham Over at Fox
- 14:50Speaker 1: US channel, was having this conversation earlier and she said
- 14:54Speaker 1: this about this sit down quote United for America twenty
- 14:59Speaker 1: twenty four interview, and listen, just listen to it.
- 15:03Speaker 3: It's been a few things that have been strange.
- 15:05Speaker 10: I mean twice now, Kamala Harris has brought up that
- 15:07Speaker 10: she has a gun, and no one has followed up
- 15:09Speaker 10: to say what kind. But here she was with Oprah
- 15:11Speaker 10: yesterday talking about what would happen if somebody broke into
- 15:14Speaker 10: her home.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I'm a gun owner to moms a god know that.
- 15:21Speaker 3: House again? Shot.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I hear that. I hear that.
- 15:26Speaker 11: Probably should not have said that, but my saff will
- 15:31Speaker 11: deal with that later.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Mary catherinam, what did you think of yesterday?
- 15:38Speaker 8: Oh?
- 15:39Speaker 10: Look, it might be the first time I've agreed with
- 15:40Speaker 10: her on the right of self defense. In the past,
- 15:43Speaker 10: she's of course said the standard ground laws are racist
- 15:45Speaker 10: and grounded in racism, so she has a very limited
- 15:47Speaker 10: view of this. I'm not really surprised that elites think
- 15:50Speaker 10: it's okay for them to defend themselves but then try
- 15:52Speaker 10: to take that right from others. That's sort of a
- 15:54Speaker 10: normal leftist elite thing to do. Oprah, I'm sure has
- 15:57Speaker 10: much armed security, as well as they should under the
- 16:00Speaker 10: constitution of this nation. But largely I think especially the
- 16:04Speaker 10: split screen was helpful. When she was giving the answer
- 16:06Speaker 10: about prices for day to day living and the couple
- 16:10Speaker 10: is laboring to understand if there's a point in there for.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Them, there's not.
- 16:15Speaker 10: She basically says, I'm going to lower prices by lowering prices.
- 16:18Speaker 10: That's a thing that I'm going to do because America
- 16:21Speaker 10: and your dreams, and that is not really.
- 16:24Speaker 3: A sufficient answer.
- 16:25Speaker 10: Now she's up against an opponent who has his own
- 16:28Speaker 10: liabilities and might make her more attractive for that reason.
- 16:31Speaker 10: But she in this forum, which should have been just
- 16:35Speaker 10: easy to knock out of the park. I mean, Oprah's
- 16:37Speaker 10: helping you the whole time, Meryl Streep's they are not
- 16:39Speaker 10: remembering her lines, just as Common was not remembering her lines.
- 16:42Speaker 10: But like everybody's having a good time, it should have
- 16:44Speaker 10: gone off basically perfectly. And these answers are pretty hard
- 16:49Speaker 10: to listen to sometimes, particularly if you're a person. I
- 16:51Speaker 10: was actually checking because I have four kids.
- 16:53Speaker 3: On our grocery prices year over year, and it is
- 16:56Speaker 3: a double digit.
- 16:57Speaker 10: Percentage increase from this month in twenty twenty three to
- 17:00Speaker 10: twenty twenty four. I didn't even go back to twenty
- 17:02Speaker 10: twenty one, right, that would be a much large one.
- 17:04Speaker 3: It's several hundred dollars in a month. This is what
- 17:07Speaker 3: people are dealing with.
- 17:08Speaker 10: And if it's hurting our family, it's hurting others a
- 17:10Speaker 10: lot more. And that couple didn't hear anything about how she.
- 17:13Speaker 12: Was going to help.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Yeah, by the way, absolutely right, because you look at
- 17:17Speaker 1: these higher prices, the single most important factor, and let's
- 17:21Speaker 1: go back to the polls, the single most important factor
- 17:24Speaker 1: motivating you to vote this election.
- 17:27Speaker 2: High price is thirty nine percent.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Number two, Immigration thirty two percent, stopping opponent from winning
- 17:35Speaker 1: twenty nine percent, abortions at twenty seven, violent crime at
- 17:39Speaker 1: twenty six, which is insane because that means obsessed with abortions, Okay,
- 17:45Speaker 1: and that that's pretty clear. The left is obsessed to that,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and many conservatives are access obsessed with violent crime.
- 17:52Speaker 2: So there's a very clear difference there.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But when you hear what Mary Catherine said, it's the
- 18:00Speaker 1: economy stupid, And she's right. This interview should have gone
- 18:05Speaker 1: off without a hitch. It should have gone off easily.
- 18:09Speaker 1: It shouldn't have been hard to do. And so what
- 18:13Speaker 1: Democrats are saying is basically, look, we'll send out Doug Enhoff, right,
- 18:18Speaker 1: the first husband, will throw him out there on ABC
- 18:22Speaker 1: News and he'll tell people, you have a dudey to
- 18:24Speaker 1: vote for my wife because she's a woman. Making a
- 18:29Speaker 1: sex issue a interesting how democrats to say, Democrats that
- 18:35Speaker 1: can't give you the definition of a woman have no
- 18:37Speaker 1: problem telling you now you need to vote for a
- 18:39Speaker 1: woman that they can define in Kamala Harris. But tomorrow,
- 18:42Speaker 1: if it comes down to transgenderism in your kids and
- 18:45Speaker 1: in doctrining your kids, they can't even tell you what
- 18:48Speaker 1: a woman is. But Doug Enhoff going out there doing
- 18:51Speaker 1: this twelve minute you know, state propaganda media, ABC News
- 18:57Speaker 1: exclusive one on one with a second gentleman is a
- 19:01Speaker 1: joke and he says, why should you vote for my wife?
- 19:05Speaker 2: Listen?
- 19:06Speaker 13: And if you become first gentleman, what would that say about?
- 19:09Speaker 13: You know, defining the gender, rolling.
- 19:10Speaker 12: About masculinity, a man supporting a woman and lifting up
- 19:15Speaker 12: a woman.
- 19:16Speaker 2: It's the right thing to do.
- 19:18Speaker 12: And when some woman succeeds, it's not like some man
- 19:21Speaker 12: somewhere is not succeeding. There's like this binary thinking where
- 19:25Speaker 12: it's either or no, it's both. When we lift up women,
- 19:29Speaker 12: we lift up all society.
- 19:31Speaker 3: You worked the.
- 19:31Speaker 13: Year of the Litigator, and you actually worked the case
- 19:35Speaker 13: for my company back in the day. So what is
- 19:38Speaker 13: it like for you to take a break from a
- 19:40Speaker 13: career that you not only accept.
- 19:42Speaker 1: But let me just pause there because I want you
- 19:43Speaker 1: to hear that second part. You the host here former
- 19:48Speaker 1: NFL football player who's sitting there to Michael Strange's like,
- 19:51Speaker 1: by the way, you worked on a case. You know
- 19:53Speaker 1: why I threw that out there show nonchalantly because he
- 19:56Speaker 1: had to disclose that to the viewers that basically, this
- 19:59Speaker 1: guy I had.
- 20:00Speaker 2: To work for me at one point.
- 20:01Speaker 1: We've worked together, and I need to make it look
- 20:05Speaker 1: like everything's kosher and above board.
- 20:09Speaker 2: So let's just go ahead, uh, and you know, we'll.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Check that box off real quick, and that's how we'll
- 20:15Speaker 1: do this. And we'll just say that real fast, so
- 20:18Speaker 1: I can just tell you, hey, this is all totally normal.
- 20:22Speaker 1: This is all completely normal. Everything's fine here. I'm just
- 20:26Speaker 1: one dude that used to work with a dude, and
- 20:28Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about why you should vote for Comma.
- 20:30Speaker 2: And it's because she's a woman and it's.
- 20:33Speaker 1: The right thing to do as a woman, Like as
- 20:37Speaker 1: a man, you should.
- 20:38Speaker 2: You just need to vote for the woman.
- 20:40Speaker 1: It is total insanity, folks, that this is the this
- 20:45Speaker 1: is the platform of what they're saying you need to
- 20:47Speaker 1: do and this is how you need to do it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It's insane. Let me go back real quick to just
- 20:56Speaker 1: some of the questioning. Uh, there was this.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Event.
- 21:01Speaker 1: It was like it was like a studio audience, but
- 21:04Speaker 1: within like thousands of people connect on skyper zoom that
- 21:08Speaker 1: are watching I say thousand, maybe it's hundreds of couples
- 21:11Speaker 1: and individuals and there, and they would go to them
- 21:13Speaker 1: at this Oprah Winfrey Kamala Harrison event and.
- 21:16Speaker 2: You would get to ask a question.
- 21:19Speaker 1: So the questions, by the way, went about as good
- 21:23Speaker 1: as you would expect. And this is exactly why Kamala's
- 21:26Speaker 1: handlers are like, look, we cannot just let you do
- 21:28Speaker 1: real interviews with the media because you suck at it
- 21:31Speaker 1: and you don't know how to answer these questions. So
- 21:33Speaker 1: I want you to hear this. This is a husband
- 21:36Speaker 1: wife sitting next to each other. They bring up their
- 21:39Speaker 1: big picture on like the equivalent of the big screen,
- 21:43Speaker 1: and they ask Kamala Harris a very simple question that
- 21:46Speaker 1: she cannot answer.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Really would love.
- 21:49Speaker 14: To know what your plan is to help lower the
- 21:52Speaker 14: cost of living.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Yeah, first of all, thank you both.
- 21:56Speaker 11: For being here and yours is a story I around
- 22:00Speaker 11: the country as I travel, and in terms of both
- 22:05Speaker 11: rightly having the right to have aspirations and dreams and
- 22:11Speaker 11: ambitions for your family and working hard and finding that
- 22:16Speaker 11: the American dream is for this generation and so many recently,
- 22:21Speaker 11: far more elusive than it's been, and we need to
- 22:24Speaker 11: deal with that.
- 22:25Speaker 2: She didn't answer the question.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It's not a hard question, a question you should know
- 22:30Speaker 1: is going to be coming your way. But this is
- 22:33Speaker 1: not a tough question that she was asked, by the way,
- 22:37Speaker 1: speaking in Georgia.
- 22:39Speaker 2: In Atlanta, she was asked are on stage and she was.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Had a crowd chant Amber Thurman's name and blamed her
- 22:51Speaker 1: death on abortion laws. Amber died because of complications from
- 22:54Speaker 1: abortion medication. Like the media should fact check this, They won't,
- 23:01Speaker 1: They won't do it. But she actually died of complications
- 23:05Speaker 1: from abortion medication.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And I want you to listen to what she said
- 23:08Speaker 2: in Atlanta. It's again a lie.
- 23:11Speaker 4: And many of us remember there's so many leaders here
- 23:15Speaker 4: from two years ago when the dab's decision.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Came down, we knew this could happen.
- 23:25Speaker 4: There is a word preventable, and there is another word predictable.
- 23:33Speaker 4: And the reality is for every story we hear of
- 23:37Speaker 4: the suffering under Trump abortion bands, there are so many
- 23:41Speaker 4: of the stories we're not hearing, but where suffering is
- 23:45Speaker 4: happening every day in our country, An untold number of
- 23:50Speaker 4: people suffering, women who are also being made to feel
- 23:55Speaker 4: as though they did something wrong. The judgment fact here
- 24:01Speaker 4: is outrageous, being made as though to feel as though
- 24:06Speaker 4: they are criminals, as though they are alone. So to
- 24:13Speaker 4: those women, to those families, I say, on, behalf of
- 24:19Speaker 4: what I believe. We all say we see you, and
- 24:23Speaker 4: you are not alone, and we are all here standing
- 24:27Speaker 4: with you, standing with you.
- 24:34Speaker 2: You are not alone. You are not alone.
- 24:43Speaker 1: This narrative that she pushes out there, right, Harris, at
- 24:46Speaker 1: least two women died because of Trump abortion band.
- 24:50Speaker 2: The woman that she mentioned the name is a woman that.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Died from complications from the abortion pill from MEDICAI. How
- 25:02Speaker 1: is that Donald Trump's fault? I would love for someone
- 25:06Speaker 1: to explain that to me. And I just don't know
- 25:11Speaker 1: if this is a one of those moments where it's like,
- 25:13Speaker 1: is that really gonna get you over the finish line here?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Like is that enough to really move the needle for
- 25:21Speaker 2: you here? I don't get it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I really don't understand how they think, Yep, oh yep,
- 25:25Speaker 1: this is gonna do it, folks. And when you're in
- 25:29Speaker 1: Georgia and you say Amber died because the complications from
- 25:33Speaker 1: abortion medication is what you should say. But she didn't
- 25:36Speaker 1: say that. No, no, she said it's Donald Trump's fault.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It's Donald Trump's fault. By the way, you want to
- 25:44Speaker 1: know what's happening right now at the White House. The
- 25:49Speaker 1: White House had a cabinet meeting today, Joe Biden cabinet meeting,
- 25:54Speaker 1: first time in eleven months. And when they finally have one,
- 25:57Speaker 1: do you want to know sitting at the head of
- 25:59Speaker 1: the table. You want to know shitting at the of
- 26:01Speaker 1: the table a woman elected by no one named Joe Biden.
- 26:06Speaker 3: It'll be Joe Biden, doctor Biden. The first Lady in
- 26:09Speaker 3: attendance today as well.
- 26:10Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, I mean, this is an important and interesting
- 26:13Speaker 9: cabinet meeting because of who is not there, which was
- 26:15Speaker 9: Vice President Harris obviously, who has her campaign schedule, but
- 26:18Speaker 9: then because of the spotlight that the First Lady did have.
- 26:21Speaker 9: She talked about the fact that sometimes the White House,
- 26:24Speaker 9: in her words, surprises you. And for somebody who has
- 26:26Speaker 9: worked on women's health issues for her whole career, frankly
- 26:30Speaker 9: as a teacher, but also as the Second Lady and
- 26:32Speaker 9: now as the first Lady, she said one of the
- 26:34Speaker 9: things that struck her the most was the inequities in
- 26:37Speaker 9: medical research, funding for medical research for women. So this
- 26:39Speaker 9: is an important priority of hers that she had the
- 26:42Speaker 9: opportunity to at this Cabinet meeting to spotlight and as
- 26:44Speaker 9: you had that great interview with her Peter talking about
- 26:47Speaker 9: the fact that, yes, a burden may have been lifted
- 26:50Speaker 9: from her husband's shoulder in one respect with the end
- 26:52Speaker 9: of his campaign, but there's still a lot of work
- 26:54Speaker 9: that they both intend to do during their last few
- 26:57Speaker 9: months in office.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Here so maybe now we know he's running the the country,
- 27:00Speaker 1: maybe it is Joe Biden. She's singing at the head
- 27:02Speaker 1: of the damn table. In fact, she got an introduction
- 27:04Speaker 1: from her husband, Joe Biden basically like his his sister
- 27:08Speaker 1: living center, like, Hey, I can't.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Do anything without my wife being here.
- 27:12Speaker 1: So here she is, folks, at the head of the
- 27:14Speaker 1: table at a cabinet meeting.
- 27:16Speaker 15: This is the first time Jill has joined us, and
- 27:18Speaker 15: that goes to show how important this year is. Where
- 27:21Speaker 15: she's about to speak to the both of us today
- 27:24Speaker 15: at the top of our meeting, Jill's going on a
- 27:26Speaker 15: given update on the House Initiative White House one this
- 27:29Speaker 15: year to fundamentally you've changed the approach and the fun
- 27:34Speaker 15: on how we approach in fun women's health services. So
- 27:38Speaker 15: I'd like to turn over to Jill and friend of
- 27:41Speaker 15: comment she has and four years, kid, that's.
- 27:46Speaker 3: The White House surprises you.
- 27:49Speaker 7: When Joe became president, I knew I wanted to keep
- 27:52Speaker 7: shining one on the issues that I worked on for
- 27:55Speaker 7: so many years.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I mean, what, like, what is this? Take your spouse
- 27:59Speaker 2: to work this.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Hey, she's leading the cabinet meeting at the head of
- 28:03Speaker 1: the damn table. And you gotta understand, now, this is
- 28:07Speaker 1: the problem. This is what we have to overcome.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Now. Data point for you.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I want you to know about new black undecided voters
- 28:16Speaker 1: in Georgia say the economy was better under Donald Trump
- 28:20Speaker 1: and think Kama Harris is Week. The focus group was
- 28:23Speaker 1: conducted by Daily Mail poster j L Partners and James Johnson.
- 28:29Speaker 1: The voters voiced their concerns that Harris is a WEEK leader.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I want you to hear in their own words. Every
- 28:37Speaker 2: voice that you're going to hear of.
- 28:38Speaker 1: The respondents are African Americans, Okay, in Georgia.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Listen, hand up if you think he's one of those
- 28:45Speaker 6: better on the Trump and hands up if you think
- 28:52Speaker 6: better on the vibe than Harris.
- 28:55Speaker 1: So only one person out of the group, and there's
- 28:59Speaker 1: eight African Americans, only one said the economy is better
- 29:03Speaker 1: off under Harris.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Now keep listening.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Okay, it's seven to one. That's pretty pretty clear the truth.
- 29:11Speaker 14: I'm not saying he's like, of course, yeah, like they
- 29:13Speaker 14: say he has best. He still has a business mindset.
- 29:16Speaker 14: I think that Lindner somewhat. And I think, yes, the
- 29:19Speaker 14: trickle down whatever previous stuff, and I think he just
- 29:22Speaker 14: handled certain things a little better.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Who does Trump?
- 29:25Speaker 14: Trumps He provided more jobs, more opportunities similar even though
- 29:32Speaker 14: he didn't have any experience of polity, but he came
- 29:34Speaker 14: in and did a much better job, and he looked
- 29:36Speaker 14: at the statistics.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Now to have far more words now didn't work before.
- 29:41Speaker 6: Firstly, I just want to ask the general question about Harris.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Then we're going to show some questions about well ship.
- 29:46Speaker 6: Biggest hesitation about voting to Kamala Harris.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Is she going to be able to do the things
- 29:53Speaker 3: that she says she's going to.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Be able to do? Yes, you know what I mean?
- 29:57Speaker 4: Is she done to be able.
- 29:59Speaker 16: To do it? That's my big shall say. She is
- 30:03Speaker 16: she gonna be able to get it past. Comment ferens.
- 30:05Speaker 16: You know what I'm saying, I don't know, you.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Know, everything that glitters ain't going for sure. Very it looks.
- 30:15Speaker 14: Great on paper, but I'm not sure it could have
- 30:18Speaker 14: translate to policies and if she'll even be able to
- 30:20Speaker 14: get it past.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Hey, my thing is his strength.
- 30:26Speaker 3: That's my focus for her, you know.
- 30:29Speaker 4: And she's gonna be able to take a point and
- 30:32Speaker 4: give one or two vats And that's my biggest thing.
- 30:36Speaker 2: And it has nothing to do with her ginger gender ladies.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Okay, but you have we're talking about the highest office
- 30:43Speaker 8: in their hands.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it was Michelle Obama.
- 30:46Speaker 16: I would you saying you.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Can't be weak and hold that?
- 30:54Speaker 16: Yeah, Like if you put her next to Michelle Obama,
- 30:57Speaker 16: it's like or Hillary crank or her Clinton is.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Like, is no comparison on the strength.
- 31:03Speaker 16: And I think Michelle Obama, you couldn't wear up agains
- 31:07Speaker 16: herd what they will eat her?
- 31:09Speaker 6: How did Harris come across?
- 31:11Speaker 4: Then?
- 31:12Speaker 6: How did she do up against him? Heyward says that
- 31:15Speaker 6: you know, big personality, How did she do?
- 31:17Speaker 3: How does she come across?
- 31:19Speaker 14: She kept saying that she's a warrior, She's gonna fight
- 31:22Speaker 14: bo I don't know if you are strong as I mean,
- 31:24Speaker 14: I get it what you feel, but I don't think
- 31:27Speaker 14: you could you.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Are as like a warrior, like fire like she says
- 31:31Speaker 3: she is.
- 31:33Speaker 2: This is African Americans saying this in Georgia.
- 31:35Speaker 1: So I go back to the polling that I started
- 31:37Speaker 1: the show with and I say what said earlier, this
- 31:41Speaker 1: is still the biggest problem. Now you understand why they're
- 31:44Speaker 1: doing the Oprah interviews. Now you understand why Doug Enhoff
- 31:47Speaker 1: is out there. Now you understand why every other Democrat
- 31:50Speaker 1: is out there doing what they're doing now right like,
- 31:52Speaker 1: they're out there doing this and saying this because they
- 31:55Speaker 1: have to, because without it, they're in.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Deep, deep, deep deep trouble.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Take a quick break, we'll come back. It's the Ben
- 32:04Speaker 1: Ferguson Show. Much more coming up right after this.
