- 0:27Speaker 1: st I don't join. You gotta use that turn, hur
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn turn the water to the water.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Go come, come on your bab uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me want and only Steve Harvey, God, what radio
- 2:14Speaker 1: show man? What you're doing with it? Trying to do
- 2:18Speaker 1: the very very best I can with it? I really am.
- 2:20Speaker 1: You know, I get tired sometimes on my journey. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 1: not gonna kid you. Um. Trying to make something about
- 2:29Speaker 1: yourself is a task. If you want to attempt to
- 2:35Speaker 1: do something and and and understand going in that that
- 2:41Speaker 1: If the thing you're trying to do is to improve yourself,
- 2:45Speaker 1: to better your position, to better your relationship, your family, anything,
- 2:51Speaker 1: you're trying to be a better you. You're trying to
- 2:55Speaker 1: make more money, you're trying to get it together, you're
- 2:59Speaker 1: trying to chat change. If any of those things are
- 3:03Speaker 1: in your hopes and dreams, know this right here. You
- 3:09Speaker 1: are about to face some challenges. But you might as
- 3:13Speaker 1: well go ahead anyway and face those challenges, because if
- 3:17Speaker 1: you don't, you have a whole other set of challenges
- 3:21Speaker 1: to face. You know. It's a it's a It's an
- 3:23Speaker 1: amazing thing. Man, How people sit around and they watch
- 3:27Speaker 1: other people strike out to become successful. They sit in
- 3:31Speaker 1: the stands watching these people play out these games, and
- 3:35Speaker 1: they and they and they criticize, They boo, they laugh
- 3:39Speaker 1: at their efforts and everything, and they talk about the fairies.
- 3:43Speaker 1: He missed that game when it shot. Boy, he sucked. Man,
- 3:46Speaker 1: he did this. He ain't worth that. I hear people
- 3:50Speaker 1: who sit and stands who criticize people who are out
- 3:55Speaker 1: there on the playing field. Now, when you're on the
- 3:59Speaker 1: playing field, you have a set of challenges in front
- 4:03Speaker 1: of you. You're going to be open to criticism. You're
- 4:07Speaker 1: going to be open to ridicule. You're going to be
- 4:10Speaker 1: talked about when you don't know the people who are
- 4:13Speaker 1: talking about you. Now, here's the upside to being the
- 4:21Speaker 1: player on the field that's facing all the challenges, to criticisms,
- 4:26Speaker 1: the laughing, the joke, to being talked about. He has
- 4:30Speaker 1: something going for him. This person, boy, woman, child girl,
- 4:37Speaker 1: man has an opportunity to win. They have an opportunity
- 4:44Speaker 1: to win. And then the game of life. Just because
- 4:49Speaker 1: you lose one of the games, or you lose one
- 4:52Speaker 1: of the matches, it don't mean you've lost. You don't
- 4:56Speaker 1: get put out. You keep playing. And when you're playing,
- 5:02Speaker 1: here's the upside. You have the opportunity to win. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: but guess what, You're gonna win some of the matches.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You're gonna win some of the points. You're gonna make
- 5:10Speaker 1: some of the dunks. You're gonna hit some of them
- 5:12Speaker 1: over the wall. You're gonna hit some of them out
- 5:13Speaker 1: the park. You're gonna score some goals. You will if
- 5:18Speaker 1: you're playing the game. Here's the problem with the people
- 5:23Speaker 1: who don't face criticism, who nobody boos or cheers for,
- 5:29Speaker 1: who sits in the stands and knows neither victory nor defeat.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Those people, without realizing it, are facing a set of
- 5:41Speaker 1: challenges also. And the challenges they're facing is how I'm
- 5:46Speaker 1: gonna live with myself, What I'm gonna do? Now, what
- 5:53Speaker 1: direction am I going in? Where am I gonna live?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Wonder what job will hire me? Wonder if I can
- 6:06Speaker 1: get paid for criticizing. Oh woe is me. I can't
- 6:13Speaker 1: find the purpose in my life. And man, I'm just
- 6:17Speaker 1: waking up in a state of confusion. I don't know
- 6:19Speaker 1: what to do. Now, let me ask you something which
- 6:24Speaker 1: one of them said, of challenges you rather be faced with.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Because if I'm on the flow playing, if I'm on
- 6:30Speaker 1: the field playing, if I'm out on the court playing,
- 6:34Speaker 1: then guess what I got a chance at winning? But
- 6:37Speaker 1: guess what I'm doing every day while I'm playing. I'm strategizing.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'm waking up with a purpose. I'm waking up trying
- 6:44Speaker 1: to come up with another angle. I'm in pursuit of
- 6:49Speaker 1: a goal every single day, versus the people in the
- 6:55Speaker 1: stands who know neither victory nor defeat. Get in the game.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Face the challenges. Better yourself, better your wife, better your children,
- 7:10Speaker 1: better your condition, better your employment status, better your job,
- 7:13Speaker 1: better your career. Take a shot. Come on, man, what
- 7:17Speaker 1: you're waiting on? Because the alternative is to watch other
- 7:21Speaker 1: people play the game? You know? And I just do
- 7:24Speaker 1: Sometimes Sometimes I just I get Forbes magazine or Money magazine,
- 7:30Speaker 1: or sometimes I still grab a copy of rob Report.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I just flipped through it just to see I used
- 7:37Speaker 1: to get these this book called Unique Homes. Unique Homes
- 7:41Speaker 1: is a magazine that just has a lot of extravagant
- 7:44Speaker 1: houses that's on sale across the country, across the world.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I used to just flip through. Man, let me just see, man,
- 7:51Speaker 1: what the people that's playing the game out there doing.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Stop watching other people become successful when you could very
- 7:58Speaker 1: easily be you if you make the decision. But when
- 8:02Speaker 1: you make the decision to become successful, get ready for
- 8:05Speaker 1: a series of challenges. I think it's more difficult not
- 8:09Speaker 1: to accept the challenge. I think it's for me. This
- 8:14Speaker 1: is just for me. It may not be the case
- 8:15Speaker 1: for you. For me, I think it's far more difficult
- 8:18Speaker 1: to wake up and just see how life gonna go today,
- 8:20Speaker 1: because man, it could just deal you any kind of
- 8:22Speaker 1: hand today. You understand, I don't like, you know, spades.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Let's let's talk a card game, folks, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:34Speaker 1: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of
- 8:39Speaker 1: little strategies you're gonna do. But you can have all
- 8:42Speaker 1: this age keen, queen diamond all you want, But man,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you ain't got no spades, they're cutting them. You're in trouble.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Be it whist. Different game. You can create what's in
- 8:52Speaker 1: your hand. You got dealt a hand too, But you
- 8:55Speaker 1: can create a hand. You can call a trump. You
- 8:58Speaker 1: can make diamonds your spades. You can make hard to
- 9:01Speaker 1: clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. That's what it is.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You can do something with it. It's a different game, man.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You can strategize. I would rather have a say so
- 9:10Speaker 1: in my life than to wake up every day and
- 9:12Speaker 1: just see how it's going. I think it's more difficult
- 9:15Speaker 1: to not accept the challenge to be something than it
- 9:18Speaker 1: is to accept the challenge to be something. I think
- 9:21Speaker 1: it's more difficult to sit around and not be nothing.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I think it's harder to watch everybody's life going somewhere
- 9:27Speaker 1: but mine. I think it would be very difficult for
- 9:30Speaker 1: me to sit here and hear them talking about other
- 9:32Speaker 1: people and never mention my name. I would be difficult
- 9:35Speaker 1: for me to see everybody rise and getting promotions accept me.
- 9:39Speaker 1: That would be difficult for me. It may not be
- 9:42Speaker 1: for you, but for me it would be quite challenging.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I would rather accept the challenge of making something out
- 9:47Speaker 1: of my life than to sit there and criticize those
- 9:51Speaker 1: and then watch and see how my life just may go. Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: just a thought. Today you're listening tow ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're on social media.

- 12:32Speaker 1: I think the NBA forgetting it. I think Kenny Smith
- 12:35Speaker 1: on T and T forgetting it. And I still me

- 14:27Speaker 1: week ago, so I made a point to introduce myself
- 14:30Speaker 1: to her as his brother in law. He tried to
- 14:34Speaker 1: dap me up. But instead I pulled him to the
- 14:36Speaker 1: side and let him know how foul he is. He

- 17:13Speaker 1: that's in a nice area. I'm very close to my job.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I often struggled to pay my rent, so my landlord
- 17:19Speaker 1: made me an offer I couldn't refuse. But now I
- 17:22Speaker 1: have an even bigger problem. I could be in the
- 17:24Speaker 1: shower or asleep, and if my landlord pops up, it's
- 17:27Speaker 1: time for sex. He's even been waiting for me a
- 17:30Speaker 1: few times when I came in late at night. He's
- 17:33Speaker 1: a handsome thirty six year old man, and the sex
- 17:35Speaker 1: was passionate and exciting at first, but now I'm over it.
- 17:38Speaker 1: My lease isn't up until January. What should I do?
- 17:42Speaker 1: You got to go to January? Cut? No, why don't
- 17:46Speaker 1: you cut it off? You'll be quiet? Tommy, See why
- 17:51Speaker 1: don't you cut it off? Because she can't pay her rent?
- 17:55Speaker 1: He ain't gonna throw you out. Have y'all thought that
- 17:59Speaker 1: if you put it all? Why would he throw her out?
- 18:02Speaker 1: I see where you go? Who do that? You got
- 18:05Speaker 1: to understand me? Why would he throw her out? And

- 19:22Speaker 1: wife and I can buy a house. On the weekends,
- 19:25Speaker 1: when I'm at work, my wife will go hang out
- 19:27Speaker 1: at the beach with a male coworker of hers. I'm
- 19:30Speaker 1: not crazy about it, but I trust her. Last week,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I gave my female co worker a ride home and
- 19:36Speaker 1: I told my wife about it. My wife went off
- 19:39Speaker 1: on me and accused me of doing all kinds of
- 19:41Speaker 1: things with my coworker. I don't get upset with her
- 19:44Speaker 1: about her co worker, So why is she upset with me?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Do you think it's because she's guilty of doing something?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Or Hey, what's wrong with you? No? Come on, there's
- 19:55Speaker 1: man to man. What's wrong with you? How you okay

- 23:11Speaker 1: things are I mean, thinks matter that it made man,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I mean, I've been baptized, I go to church. You know, Uh,
- 23:18Speaker 1: me and the Lord don't have no problems. I mean,
- 23:19Speaker 1: we all have setbacks. But for you to pull up
- 23:22Speaker 1: with your pool in front of my house to say
- 23:24Speaker 1: you've been a baptize me that that doesn't make any
- 23:27Speaker 1: sense to me. Doc I mean s sometimes when some
- 23:30Speaker 1: people are not able to go to the house of
- 23:32Speaker 1: the Lord and get baptized, you know we're making a
- 23:35Speaker 1: lot more convenient for you, but we can actually need
- 23:38Speaker 1: no convenience. I don't need no conveniance. What I need
- 23:42Speaker 1: conveniance for you asking me to come to my house
- 23:46Speaker 1: on a Tuesday to baptize me in my driveway? Does
- 23:51Speaker 1: that make any sense that you broke of water? I mean,
- 23:53Speaker 1: come on, if you really sit back and think about it,
- 23:55Speaker 1: does that make any sense to you? First of all,
- 24:00Speaker 1: so that that that's brothers spring water. But what I'm
- 24:03Speaker 1: trying to what I'm trying to see the water is
- 24:05Speaker 1: holy water, spring water. It doesn't make no difference to me.
- 24:09Speaker 1: You can't come to my neighborhood and baptize me in
- 24:13Speaker 1: front of my home. So what is all that? I
- 24:15Speaker 1: ain't war? This is? This is what your friends are
- 24:17Speaker 1: talking about that don't give me? That was my prayers
- 24:20Speaker 1: are telling you, man and anybody which which one of
- 24:22Speaker 1: my friends gonna recommend you to come to my damn house.
- 24:25Speaker 1: So I'm and I don't let me that. You don't
- 24:30Speaker 1: even make any sense to me. You understand, I'm not
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'm not at any liberty to tell you who actually
- 24:35Speaker 1: is uh between the liberty because of my damn house.
- 24:38Speaker 1: That baptized me, but you can't tell me who the
- 24:40Speaker 1: hell gonna see you? But you're not the man. Come on,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you don't even come on that that makes sense for you.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Come on, that doesn't make any no where in the world.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna allow you to come and bring your food
- 24:51Speaker 1: in front of my house. That baptize me. Then I'm
- 24:54Speaker 1: asking you ask as you you supposed to be a pastor,
- 24:56Speaker 1: you supposed to get back tized. I'm asking you, okay,
- 24:58Speaker 1: what's a friend of mine? It's sending you, you know,
- 25:01Speaker 1: letting you know I need be down. How you'll tell you?
- 25:03Speaker 1: How that liberty to all I wanted to. Basically, I've
- 25:07Speaker 1: already been paid. I'm I'm coming. I'm baptizing me. Then
- 25:13Speaker 1: back time. I'm going to baptize you on Tuesday in
- 25:16Speaker 1: your driveway. Man, I tell you, if you come to
- 25:19Speaker 1: my house in front of my driveway, you better bring
- 25:22Speaker 1: the old congregation. You understand, you better bring the deacons,
- 25:25Speaker 1: the brothers, the sisters, and they have my head as
- 25:28Speaker 1: you think how many you got ties. This is a problem.
- 25:31Speaker 1: This is what your friends are talking about. This is
- 25:32Speaker 1: why you need to be baptized and cleans it again
- 25:35Speaker 1: and washed in the blood of the lamp. This is
- 25:37Speaker 1: what's wrong. You need to be cleansed. That's what's wrong
- 25:40Speaker 1: with you, mister Wilton. What's wrong with me? Now? What's
- 25:43Speaker 1: wrong with you is clarly in the little my house
- 25:45Speaker 1: day telling me I need to be backtip in front
- 25:47Speaker 1: of my house. If I need to be BACKTIF don't
- 25:49Speaker 1: get the only water I go down to the church.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I don't need you come in front of my house
- 25:53Speaker 1: looking old cherkers. We aren't you afraid of some white
- 25:56Speaker 1: sheets trot backs after me that romma in the say,
- 26:00Speaker 1: from my understanding, From my understanding, mister Wilson, you missed
- 26:03Speaker 1: two Sundays already this month. This man, I can't go
- 26:08Speaker 1: anywhere and get the water. I don't need you coming
- 26:10Speaker 1: here because you telling how I missed too damn sundays.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna miss sending the two because the sunbe I
- 26:14Speaker 1: ain't coming off, sir. All I know is I've been
- 26:17Speaker 1: paid to do a job. I will be there Tuesday
- 26:20Speaker 1: morning at seven o'clock and we will baptize you before
- 26:22Speaker 1: you go to work on two. Before you will I
- 26:25Speaker 1: tell you what you curting my seven o'clock and morn,
- 26:28Speaker 1: I swear on your lord, I'm gonna bust you. You

- 28:59Speaker 1: Coming up by the top of the hour, Entertainment and

- 29:12Speaker 1: number one thing about her husband offset that turns her on.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Cartie tweeted, Okay, this might be weird, but one of
- 29:20Speaker 1: the things that turns me on about my about my
- 29:24Speaker 1: man is that he is really good in math. LMAO.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Like that is so sexy to me. Sounds like Carti
- 29:32Speaker 1: is a satio sexual and those are people who are
- 29:34Speaker 1: turned on by a potential partner's intelligence. Okay, I've become
- 29:39Speaker 1: one of them since code Yeah. Oh really, I didn't
- 29:42Speaker 1: know that you're a sapio sexual too. Just found oct
- 29:45Speaker 1: want anything that turned me on my nose? A woman
- 29:50Speaker 1: walking by with a code only Yes, sir, you just
- 29:55Speaker 1: say safeo as you want it to be. Yo. I
- 30:03Speaker 1: think my nerds, Shirley, you like, yeah, yeah, I do.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I do like smart guys. So he knows physical what
- 30:13Speaker 1: how cold of a man? As we talk about? Well,
- 30:16Speaker 1: that's what she said he's really good in math. M. Yeah. Now,
- 30:24Speaker 1: study see a lot of people good at math. To me,
- 30:30Speaker 1: why you say that? Because because I wouldn't. Yeah, because
- 30:33Speaker 1: you Yeah, anybody you gotta see yeah and make it. Hey,
- 30:42Speaker 1: let me tell you something counted better than anybody on earth,
- 30:47Speaker 1: and you know how to make it a shout me
- 30:50Speaker 1: and see what happened. We kind of talked about this
- 30:54Speaker 1: story yesterday, guys and other entertainment news. NBC News is
- 30:59Speaker 1: apologizing for the mix up, and this was a big one.
- 31:04Speaker 1: They mixed up Kevin Hart and you saying Bolt, how
- 31:09Speaker 1: how we all look alike? Yeah, you're saying recently tested
- 31:14Speaker 1: positive for COVID nineteen but you They used Kevin's picture
- 31:19Speaker 1: on the post about the story. So here's part of
- 31:22Speaker 1: NBC's correction statement. They say, the social image on this
- 31:25Speaker 1: post mistakenly featured a photo of comedian Kevin Hart, and
- 31:29Speaker 1: the system reverted to an image of Heart from an
- 31:32Speaker 1: unrelated video, and it has been corrected. Well. Kevin Hart
- 31:36Speaker 1: took it and stride as always. He posted, I must
- 31:39Speaker 1: have gotten really fast and tall overnight. I want to
- 31:42Speaker 1: take advantage of this moment and race anyone in the world.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Sidna we're looking at somebody to six six five six.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It's just a foot off, y'all. Just a foot. Yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 1: Kevin A tripping what I can. And I don't think
- 32:10Speaker 1: you saying had anything that he wasn't mad about it either. Yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I mean he's more concerned that he has COVID nineteen
- 32:17Speaker 1: right now and taken care. I would be upset, but
- 32:20Speaker 1: I would be upset if you've mistaken me for somebody
- 32:23Speaker 1: shorter like you and your and your nephew, like if
- 32:29Speaker 1: they if they were talking about you and they put
- 32:30Speaker 1: a picture of Tommy up there, you would be upset.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I'm sure I wasn't going there with it, but you
- 32:37Speaker 1: said someone shorter, Thomas. I'm gonna tell you this one
- 32:44Speaker 1: more time, man, Please don't make me say it too much,
- 32:47Speaker 1: too many more times. Your saint sexy? Sexy? What is
- 32:54Speaker 1: I'm sexy? That's what That's what I miss him? I'm
- 33:00Speaker 1: is it maybe sexy? All right, listen, it's time for
- 33:05Speaker 1: today's headline, Steve. Please, ladies and gentlemen, miss an trip. Okay,
- 33:13Speaker 1: good morning everybody. This is a troop of the news,
- 33:15Speaker 1: starting out with a saggy part. Hurricane Laura made landfall
- 33:19Speaker 1: early this morning along the Texas Louisiana coast as a
- 33:21Speaker 1: category four storm, packing winds as high as one hundred
- 33:25Speaker 1: and fifty five mile an hour winds also called unsurvivable winds,
- 33:29Speaker 1: and they cause storm surges. Right now, it's high is
- 33:31Speaker 1: maybe ten to fifteen, maybe twenty feet, according to Texas
- 33:34Speaker 1: Governor Greg Abbott. This has been categorized repeatedly as an
- 33:39Speaker 1: unsurvivable storm surge where it will be hitting and that
- 33:44Speaker 1: storm surge could continue inland for about thirty miles, which
- 33:48Speaker 1: is what it's doing. It's going northward right now. It's
- 33:50Speaker 1: down to a category three, but that's about one hundred
- 33:52Speaker 1: and twenty miles per hour winds. About a half a
- 33:55Speaker 1: million Gulf residents asked to evacuate the area in advance,
- 33:58Speaker 1: but some stayed. Some three hundred thousand residents are out
- 34:00Speaker 1: of power this morning in the area. Laura's already responsible
- 34:03Speaker 1: for at least two dozen deaths in Haiti and the
- 34:05Speaker 1: Dominican Republic. Demonstrators out again last night in Kenosha, Wisconsin,
- 34:09Speaker 1: calling for justice and the police shooting of a twenty
- 34:11Speaker 1: nine year old father of three named Jacob Blake, unarmed
- 34:15Speaker 1: and shot seven times in the back remains in critical condition,
- 34:18Speaker 1: and his family says he's paralyzed from the waist down.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Is now report this morning and said that Blake had
- 34:23Speaker 1: a weapon in the car, supposedly a knife. However, there's
- 34:27Speaker 1: no camera or footage of that shows him getting it,
- 34:29Speaker 1: grabbing it, or intending to do so. Meanwhile, the white
- 34:32Speaker 1: teenager is the only one who's really charged with killing somebody.
- 34:35Speaker 1: A white teenager charged with fatally shooting two protesters. He's
- 34:39Speaker 1: identified as seventeen year old Kyle Rittenhouse, described as a
- 34:42Speaker 1: Blue Lives Matter activist. Rittenhouse charged with first degree intentional homicide.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Last night was day three the Republican National Convention. Among
- 34:50Speaker 1: last night's speechmakers where they now departing Presidential Advisor Kelly
- 34:54Speaker 1: Ann Conway. She's the inventor of that term alternate facts,
- 34:56Speaker 1: remember that, and her husband and daughter are both proud
- 34:59Speaker 1: and Trumpers. And Vice President Mike Pence, who was really featured.
- 35:03Speaker 1: He used the right phrases and code words to satisfy
- 35:06Speaker 1: the GOP base. Last week, Joe Biden didn't say one
- 35:09Speaker 1: word about the violence and chaos engulfing cities across this country.
- 35:15Speaker 1: So let me be clear, the violence must stop. Whether
- 35:19Speaker 1: in Minneapolis, Portland, or Kenosha. Too many heroes have died
- 35:25Speaker 1: defending our freedom to see Americans strike each other down.
- 35:29Speaker 1: We will have law and order on the streets of
- 35:33Speaker 1: this country for every American. And he said, that's why
- 35:36Speaker 1: we need formal years of Trump. By the way, Democratic
- 35:39Speaker 1: candid Joe Biden spoke to the Jacob Blake family and
- 35:42Speaker 1: did condemn the violence by police and some of the protesters,
- 35:45Speaker 1: number of athletes, some sportscasters demonstrating their anger and discussed
- 35:49Speaker 1: over another cop shooting of a black man. Didn't go
- 35:51Speaker 1: and work. The Milwaukee Bucks refused to play last night.
- 35:54Speaker 1: There was a lot of stuff in lebron James trying
- 35:56Speaker 1: to get some more poll workers as well. Now back
- 35:58Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening day Morning Show. Well,
- 36:03Speaker 1: yesterday the Milwaukee Bucks boycott at their NBA playoff game
- 36:07Speaker 1: against the Orlando Magic, and shortly after that, the NBA
- 36:11Speaker 1: announced they were going to postpone all of their playoff
- 36:14Speaker 1: games and protests of the shooting of Jacob Blake. Take
- 36:17Speaker 1: a listen to Clippers head coach Doc Rivers. Oh, he
- 36:20Speaker 1: had some powerful comments. Take a listen what stands out
- 36:24Speaker 1: to me is just just watching the Republican Revenge Convention
- 36:31Speaker 1: and this viewing this fear right, Like all you hear
- 36:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump and all of them talking about fear. We're
- 36:39Speaker 1: the ones getting killed, We're the ones getting shot. We're
- 36:44Speaker 1: the ones that were denied to live in certain communities.
- 36:50Speaker 1: We've been home, we've been shot, and all you do
- 36:56Speaker 1: is keep hearing a fear. It's it's amazing why we
- 37:03Speaker 1: keep loving this country in this country does not love
- 37:07Speaker 1: his back, you know, man, that's a that's a profound statement.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I've known Doc for a while. We're not close or anything,
- 37:16Speaker 1: but I've known him for a while and he's always
- 37:21Speaker 1: he's always spoke up. He's a he's truly a players coach.
- 37:27Speaker 1: But see for Kenney Smith to walk off TNT. I
- 37:30Speaker 1: get it, man, He's a former NBA player, he played
- 37:34Speaker 1: even Shock and all over, but he gets it, and
- 37:36Speaker 1: he he just wanted to do something to help with
- 37:39Speaker 1: the protest. People don't understand how black people feel. Now.
- 37:45Speaker 1: There are millions of non African Americans who are participating
- 37:48Speaker 1: in this black live movement matter, black black lives matter movement,
- 37:52Speaker 1: and it's a great thing to see for those of
- 37:55Speaker 1: you who don't that are sitting at the Republican National
- 37:58Speaker 1: Convention and ignoring, ignoring the Black Lives Matter movement like
- 38:05Speaker 1: it's some Marxist theory and people who are coming up
- 38:09Speaker 1: to destroy the fiber of America. I want to remind
- 38:13Speaker 1: you of something. Black people built this country. This country
- 38:20Speaker 1: called America is what it is because of four hundred
- 38:26Speaker 1: years of free labor that allowed you to profit in
- 38:31Speaker 1: ways that no other nation could. That's how you became
- 38:36Speaker 1: the richest nation in the world and the most powerful,
- 38:39Speaker 1: because you enslaved a group of people for four hundred
- 38:43Speaker 1: years and had them at your beckoning, whim and your
- 38:46Speaker 1: call to do whatever you needed to do while you
- 38:48Speaker 1: stacked up money. This country is still benefiting from slavery
- 38:52Speaker 1: because all these tobacco companies was built on the backs
- 38:55Speaker 1: of black people. Then you turned it into share cropping.
- 39:00Speaker 1: The slavery was over. We built this country, but we
- 39:03Speaker 1: ain't ever really been a part of it. I got
- 39:05Speaker 1: something else save when we come back. Okay, all right,
- 39:08Speaker 1: he fixed his ass too, got something for him, all right,
- 39:11Speaker 1: hang on, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 39:13Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show at thirty four minutes after Right after
- 39:16Speaker 1: this you're listening to show, all right, Steve, when we
- 39:21Speaker 1: went to break, you had something heavy on your mind
- 39:24Speaker 1: about slavery and how black people feel in this moment.
- 39:29Speaker 1: You've got to understand the fatigue. You've also got to
- 39:34Speaker 1: You've also have to understand the protest because we have
- 39:41Speaker 1: no other way to get your attention. You're not paying
- 39:43Speaker 1: no attention to us, even in lou of the Aubrey case,
- 39:48Speaker 1: in lieu of the George Floyd case, in you of
- 39:52Speaker 1: Eric Ghana, in loeu of all the men Brianna Taylor,
- 39:57Speaker 1: y'all still shooting us. Yeah, And all the Republican National
- 40:02Speaker 1: Convention can talking about is blue lives matter. We're not
- 40:06Speaker 1: shooting the police. There's no there's no outbreak of black
- 40:13Speaker 1: people killing police. That is an outbreak that has been
- 40:19Speaker 1: and broke out of black people being killed repeatedly. If
- 40:25Speaker 1: you don't understand why we're upset about that, something wrong
- 40:28Speaker 1: with you. Now you consider this Republican National Convention, and
- 40:33Speaker 1: you can ignore the coronavirus. Ain't nobody talked about it,
- 40:36Speaker 1: but Milania, you can sit up and talk and praise
- 40:39Speaker 1: him for the way he's handled it. And how can
- 40:41Speaker 1: you think he's handled that wonderfully, and you can ignore
- 40:46Speaker 1: the Black Lives Matter movement and keep acting like we're
- 40:50Speaker 1: some militant group who are out here. Let me explain
- 40:54Speaker 1: to you what happens when people the protest turns violent.
- 40:59Speaker 1: It's because the Republican not the Republican Party, but governmental institutions.
- 41:05Speaker 1: There are certain institutions who know how to put plant
- 41:08Speaker 1: people in that to help start it. So you can
- 41:11Speaker 1: derail the movement for the intent the instigators that you
- 41:15Speaker 1: put in there, and and it derails the movement, so
- 41:19Speaker 1: you can change the narrative from what we are talking about,
- 41:23Speaker 1: the injustice that black people are under the thumbs of
- 41:26Speaker 1: your police departments across the country, and so you put
- 41:30Speaker 1: this other thing in so we can derail it. But
- 41:32Speaker 1: you're not going to derail it this time. Just like
- 41:35Speaker 1: you derail what Colin Kaepernick was doing. You're not going
- 41:38Speaker 1: to derail it this time. This time, some white folks
- 41:41Speaker 1: saw what you've done, and they upset about it too important.
- 41:46Speaker 1: In Seattle, in Phoenix, in Detroit, inclusion in DC, in
- 41:52Speaker 1: New York, a lot of people are sick of it.
- 41:58Speaker 1: And so you can have your publican national convention and
- 42:02Speaker 1: never say one calming word to the Black Lives Matter
- 42:06Speaker 1: movement to even say to them, hey, you know what,
- 42:09Speaker 1: we need to work on some things so you all
- 42:12Speaker 1: feel better about here in America because you keep wanting
- 42:16Speaker 1: us to honor the flag, which we do. But we're
- 42:20Speaker 1: tired of singing a song that ain't about us. Oh say,
- 42:25Speaker 1: can you see can you see what y'all keep doing
- 42:30Speaker 1: to me? But you acting like its rain where we
- 42:34Speaker 1: standing under pa, and we're tired of it. We're sick
- 42:40Speaker 1: and tired of it, man. And if you can't see
- 42:42Speaker 1: how we're sick and tired of it, imagine if it
- 42:45Speaker 1: were you. But why you can't imagine? You know why
- 42:47Speaker 1: you can't imagine it issue because you can't imagine it.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's unthinkable that your child, Yeah, that your son might
- 42:59Speaker 1: not come home because he had on the hoodie yea,
- 43:02Speaker 1: that he went to the start to get some skittles
- 43:05Speaker 1: under iced teeth. Your son don't come back right, yea.
- 43:09Speaker 1: So I know it's hard for some people to imagine
- 43:13Speaker 1: it because you can't imagine it happened. You can't imagine
- 43:16Speaker 1: the police having the knee on your neck for eight
- 43:19Speaker 1: minutes and forty six seconds. You're an American. You can't
- 43:24Speaker 1: do this to me. Yeah, I just said I can't breathe.
- 43:30Speaker 1: But Eric Gardeners said the same damn thing, I can't breathe.
- 43:37Speaker 1: He said it over and over. Now you have shot
- 43:42Speaker 1: all of us this year, Brianna Taylor, Aubrey, George Floyd,
- 43:47Speaker 1: and now the man Blake. You keep killing us. I'm
- 43:52Speaker 1: just talking about all of you. Kill all of us,
- 43:55Speaker 1: and you have a Republican convention. You don't mention it
- 44:00Speaker 1: because your president is so worried about Blue Lives Matter.
- 44:03Speaker 1: We're not killing the police. To police is killing them coming.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I've been pissed off. More of the Steve Harvey Morning

- 44:32Speaker 1: What you got for us? Ne? Can you do my makeup? Oh?
- 44:38Speaker 1: Can you do my makeup? Sound pretty simple, don't it? Yeah?

- 44:49Speaker 1: Hello nights to Brandy Police. Yes, by Brandy. My name
- 44:53Speaker 1: is Carl. I'm calling. I got a you can't highly
- 44:56Speaker 1: recommended you actually you're you? Actually are? I'm sorry? That
- 44:59Speaker 1: is it? Man, I'm I don't know if I'm saying
- 45:00Speaker 1: r as a makeup artist, makeup style, that's what you
- 45:02Speaker 1: what do you call it? It's makeup artist. I'm a
- 45:04Speaker 1: professional makeup artists okay, and you work at them, you
- 45:08Speaker 1: work at the makeup counter and correct. Okay, listen, I
- 45:11Speaker 1: gotta I got a photo shoot coming up and I
- 45:14Speaker 1: wanted to see about um sometime this week maybe the
- 45:18Speaker 1: following week. You could actually come and and I hired
- 45:21Speaker 1: you to actually make me up with my photo shoot.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Is do you do a lot of photo shoots at all?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Or you? Yes, I should do. I've been in the
- 45:28Speaker 1: business for ten years, so I've been around. There were photoshoots. Okay,
- 45:32Speaker 1: good though, So what's I mean you have any time
- 45:34Speaker 1: this week that I can actually just come in and
- 45:36Speaker 1: we can do like a trial run or something. Yeah,
- 45:39Speaker 1: I'll actually be here Friday for about six hours with
- 45:42Speaker 1: Friday work for you. I'm here, I start at eleven.
- 45:45Speaker 1: At eleven, I mean I could come in maybe like
- 45:47Speaker 1: around three on Friday, if you if can you squeeze
- 45:50Speaker 1: me in at that time? I sure can? Okay, What's
- 45:53Speaker 1: what's so good? Is there a certain makeup for men?
- 45:57Speaker 1: It works out the same as for women. In photoshop.
- 46:00Speaker 1: You just need some type of crane foundation something to
- 46:02Speaker 1: even out the skin tone. Uh, powder you down to
- 46:05Speaker 1: take away the oils, cover up any blemishes or anything
- 46:08Speaker 1: like that. It's pretty much the same. Of course you
- 46:09Speaker 1: don't get the whole eyeshadow and lashes and stuff, but right, right, right,
- 46:13Speaker 1: right right, Well I'm not but I just try to,
- 46:15Speaker 1: you know, just trying to look good on camera. UM.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. How much makeup have you done?
- 46:21Speaker 1: As far as um men? You know what I mean? Yes, okay,
- 46:25Speaker 1: I'm very comfortable with it. You'll be fine, trust me.
- 46:28Speaker 1: That's what I was really worried about it if you
- 46:29Speaker 1: were going to be comfortable with it, because I mean,
- 46:31Speaker 1: have you done? Um I'm a little conscientious about a
- 46:35Speaker 1: few things, you know what I mean? And um, have
- 46:38Speaker 1: you have you how many butts have you done? I'm sorry?
- 46:43Speaker 1: How many what like like like butts? You know? How many?
- 46:47Speaker 1: How many butts have you made? Up? I haven't made
- 46:50Speaker 1: up any butts, like are you like you mean like asses, Yeah,
- 46:54Speaker 1: I mean you could seem I'm actually doing a nude
- 46:57Speaker 1: photo shoot and uh, you know, I gotta scratches and
- 47:01Speaker 1: you know, some old scars on my butt and you know,
- 47:03Speaker 1: because like you said, you know, I'm a little shy
- 47:06Speaker 1: about you know, some of that. So I was you
- 47:08Speaker 1: could actually hope you can actually make sure that those
- 47:10Speaker 1: cars don't show and you know you said you kind
- 47:13Speaker 1: of um, you know, uh make sure everything is doesn't
- 47:17Speaker 1: look oily, you know what I mean. And I just
- 47:20Speaker 1: need to get my own money out. Well, but I
- 47:22Speaker 1: didn't when I didn't understand what you're talking about. I
- 47:25Speaker 1: may not be the makeup art. I don't. I'm not seriously,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do your okay, but I mean were
- 47:30Speaker 1: just talking about makeup though, I mean you know you're
- 47:33Speaker 1: talking about yeah, but I'm not about to put my
- 47:35Speaker 1: makeup brushes that I use on people's faces on your
- 47:38Speaker 1: ad like to tell your photographers to like photoshop that
- 47:41Speaker 1: because okay, well that's where I'm coming in to see
- 47:44Speaker 1: you on Friday. I want you to do everything and
- 47:47Speaker 1: make me up there in the store so I can

- 47:50Speaker 1: you were going to come into my job and make
- 47:53Speaker 1: me do your like? What are you? What? Planted? Are you?
- 47:55Speaker 1: Where did you think that was gonna work? You cannot
- 47:57Speaker 1: come into my job. How are you gonna come my

- 48:03Speaker 1: a robe. I'm not gonna just you know walk. Don't
- 48:05Speaker 1: you even think about coming into my job? Who referred you?
- 48:09Speaker 1: Who told you need to delete this number? Do not?
- 48:13Speaker 1: I'm not about to get this job done, okay. I
- 48:17Speaker 1: don't wander about why is the problem with you doing?
- 48:21Speaker 1: What is the problem? You're doing my butt and putting
- 48:23Speaker 1: some makeup on it? Not I need to buy you
- 48:25Speaker 1: some brushes. I buy you some brushes and you can
- 48:27Speaker 1: take wants you to buy me anything. I don't want
- 48:30Speaker 1: you coming into my job. I don't want you calling
- 48:32Speaker 1: me ever again to do any kind of work. I'm
- 48:34Speaker 1: coming in there and I'm now listen, I have my
- 48:37Speaker 1: professional makeup artist. Clearly you don't know what that means,
- 48:39Speaker 1: so I don't need relational Then you will take out
- 48:43Speaker 1: the part that's bothering you and do the job. Lady,
- 48:46Speaker 1: You know what I mean? If my stories art and
- 48:48Speaker 1: I want to clear, I want to call on you
- 48:50Speaker 1: before I get real ignorant. I'm not about to finish
- 48:53Speaker 1: this conversation. Do not come into my job. Do not
- 48:55Speaker 1: call me to do your That's not gonna happen. So
- 48:58Speaker 1: so so, I guess it's say to go around and
- 49:00Speaker 1: let people know that Brandy is not professional, because you
- 49:04Speaker 1: can't through part. Reputation is good in the streets to boo.
- 49:07Speaker 1: You can't go around and tell anybody that I'm not professional.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Nobody ever called me to be there. Get some skincare
- 49:13Speaker 1: for your How about that? And then you won't need
- 49:15Speaker 1: any makeup? I know you. Then you're not gonna sit

- 49:20Speaker 1: my deepest secrets to let you know I want to
- 49:22Speaker 1: come in there and get somebody. Well, that's when you're
- 49:24Speaker 1: bad for telling the stranger your deepest secrets. Okay, you

- 54:00Speaker 1: for you here it is stroll every let him thank you.
- 54:03Speaker 1: The nephew subject. My wife keeps leaving me and coming back.
- 54:09Speaker 1: She keeps leaving me and coming back. Just Stephen Shirley.
- 54:13Speaker 1: I'm a thirty five year old man with two kids
- 54:15Speaker 1: and a stepdaughter by my wife. I love my family,
- 54:19Speaker 1: but I have come to a breaking point with my wife.
- 54:23Speaker 1: For the second time in four years, she has left
- 54:25Speaker 1: the home and cut off all contact with me and
- 54:28Speaker 1: the kids. The first time she left, she ran off
- 54:32Speaker 1: with a man that she met online. She bought a
- 54:34Speaker 1: bus ticket and rode out west and didn't contact us
- 54:38Speaker 1: for a month. Eventually, the guy dumped her and she
- 54:42Speaker 1: reached out to me. I ended up sending her four
- 54:44Speaker 1: hundred dollars for her to get back home. Earlier this summer,
- 54:48Speaker 1: I was grilling and the kids were in the pool.
- 54:51Speaker 1: My wife said she had to run to Walmart to
- 54:53Speaker 1: get a few things. We have not seen her since then.
- 54:58Speaker 1: The kids and I rode all all around town looking
- 55:01Speaker 1: for her that night and the next day. I kind
- 55:03Speaker 1: of figured she'd left us again, but I didn't want
- 55:06Speaker 1: to upset the kids. I filed a missing person's report
- 55:09Speaker 1: with the police, and the police told me since she'd
- 55:12Speaker 1: left before, they wouldn't open an investigation right away. I
- 55:17Speaker 1: posted pictures on Facebook, and instantly I got all kinds
- 55:20Speaker 1: of messages saying that she'd been seen around our city
- 55:23Speaker 1: and a few cities close by. I wasn't surprised, and
- 55:27Speaker 1: I waited for her to call home. After forty five days,
- 55:31Speaker 1: she called, saying she needs to come back home and
- 55:35Speaker 1: she is ashamed of what she keeps doing to the family.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I told the kids she called and it's ready to
- 55:40Speaker 1: come home. They said I shouldn't let her come back,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and we'd be just fine without her. We've been married
- 55:48Speaker 1: fourteen years, and I've kept the marriage together for the kids,
- 55:51Speaker 1: but now they're saying to throw her and the whole
- 55:54Speaker 1: marriage away. Do you think I should take their advice
- 55:57Speaker 1: or give my wife one more please advise? Well, I mean,
- 56:03Speaker 1: you know, the decision, of course, is ultimately up to you.
- 56:07Speaker 1: What you do. Should you take the kid's advice or
- 56:11Speaker 1: give your wife one more chance? Is that what you
- 56:14Speaker 1: want to do? Well, it's certainly not what the kids
- 56:16Speaker 1: want you to do, because they're sick of her. They
- 56:19Speaker 1: really are, and they let you know so you can
- 56:22Speaker 1: let yourself off the hook. They want you to stop
- 56:25Speaker 1: feeling guilty about all this, your wife leaving and coming
- 56:28Speaker 1: back and running off with some man she met online,
- 56:32Speaker 1: and you know, just not hearing from her, no contact
- 56:36Speaker 1: for forty days and a month, forty five days? What
- 56:39Speaker 1: is all of this? And then you have two kids,
- 56:41Speaker 1: and one of them is her stepdaughter. She's sick of
- 56:44Speaker 1: her mom too. They want to divorce from her, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: really so should you. At this point your wife doesn't
- 56:50Speaker 1: care about you, She doesn't care about the kids. And
- 56:54Speaker 1: your kids, I don't know how old they are. You
- 56:56Speaker 1: said they were in the pool while you were grilling,
- 56:58Speaker 1: but I mean they're cool just with being with you. Dad.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I just say I'm saying sorry here, but your wife
- 57:05Speaker 1: is trifling and she's a horrible mom. I mean, is
- 57:08Speaker 1: she on drugs or something? What is going on with her?
- 57:12Speaker 1: Who just walks out on her family and comes back
- 57:14Speaker 1: like nothing ever happened. I'm sure this is devastating for
- 57:18Speaker 1: your children. I'm sure it is. Who does this? Why
- 57:23Speaker 1: should they have to continue to go through this time
- 57:26Speaker 1: and time again? They can't be secure, they can't you know,
- 57:30Speaker 1: they're unsure of themselves. And why should you have to
- 57:34Speaker 1: continually go through this? Who can live like this? I
- 57:37Speaker 1: just you know, you never know from one day to
- 57:40Speaker 1: the next if you'll have a mom, or or if
- 57:42Speaker 1: you have a wife or not. I say, pack her bags,
- 57:45Speaker 1: put yourself and your kids out of this revolving door
- 57:49Speaker 1: of a marriage, and tell your wife that you and
- 57:52Speaker 1: the guys will be just fine without her. She's selfish
- 57:55Speaker 1: and that's what the kids want you to do anyway,
- 57:57Speaker 1: But unless you really want to do it, and I
- 58:00Speaker 1: don't see why you wouldn't, I don't know, don't let
- 58:03Speaker 1: her back. Okay, she she's a source of misery for you, guys. Steve, Well,
- 58:11Speaker 1: let me start by saying this to you. It ain't
- 58:15Speaker 1: a good look when your kids are smarter than you, right,
- 58:22Speaker 1: you know, it just ain't a good look. Let me
- 58:26Speaker 1: just start there, okay, all right, here we go. You're
- 58:33Speaker 1: thirty five year old man, got two kids on a
- 58:35Speaker 1: step daughter. I love my family, but you had a
- 58:40Speaker 1: breaking point. For the second time in four years. She
- 58:45Speaker 1: had left home, cut off all contact with me and
- 58:48Speaker 1: the kids. The first time she first time she left her,
- 58:54Speaker 1: she ran out with a man she met on land.
- 58:56Speaker 1: She bought a bus ticket and rolled out west. Who
- 59:01Speaker 1: trifling this badass decision? Who buys a bus ticket to
- 59:09Speaker 1: ride out west? You know, like she in a Western
- 59:13Speaker 1: or something. Go west, young man, fortune out there. And
- 59:20Speaker 1: she left you for a dude that sent her a
- 59:23Speaker 1: bus ticket from a man that has a house with
- 59:30Speaker 1: a swimming pool in it in the backyard grilling. She
- 59:34Speaker 1: left you for a man that sent her a bus ticket.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Your wife is not a bright person. The kids are,
- 59:48Speaker 1: the wife is not. So let's try to make some
- 59:52Speaker 1: sense of it. And she brought a bus ticket road out.
- 59:57Speaker 1: She didn't contact us for a month. Damn man, that's hard.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Eventually the guy dumped her. She reached out to me.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I ended up spending four hundred dollars for her to
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: get back home. Now, you obviously bought a plane ticket.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Hold on, We'll hold on, Steve, hold that thought, just
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: hold it, hold it. We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: response coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Today's subject my wife keeps leaving me and coming back.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve. Look's recap
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: today Strawberry letter. The subject my wife keeps leaving me
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and coming back. Yeah, yeah, she's been doing it, second
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: time in four years. She didn't left the first time
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: she left with a man she met online. She bought
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: a bus ticket and rode out west. I knew this
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: relationship was doomed. You mean to do online, He's buy
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you a bus kicking all right. Eventually got dumped her.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: You ended up sending four hundred dollars for her way
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: to get back home. Y'all s threw that ball airline ticket.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Clearly you care more about her than the dude online.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Now hit a good one right here. Earlier this summer,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I was grilling kids, was outside in the poop. My
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: wife said she had to run to Walmart to get
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: a few things. We ain't seen her ass see horrible,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: What did she Why happened at to Walmart? The kids
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: and I rode around town looking for her that night
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and the next day and the next day. Then the
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: dude said, because he got tuition, I kind of figured
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: she left us again. I ain't want to upset the kids,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: so I filed a missing person report. Police told me
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: since she had left before, they wentn't over an investigation
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: right away. Then you put some pictures on Facebook, and
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: everybody started calling you, telling you I saw that he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: down that Errol Turners. Well, I saw up at Abigails
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: she was at to speak easy too, that she came
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: into tavern Friday. They just saw her everywhere. Yeah, you know,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: she an old broad that go dude country stuff. You know,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: this ain't no big city chick okay because the bus
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: So I wasn't surprised, and I waited for her to
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: call home after Fardy Dave this health a call back
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: home says she's ashamed of what she keeps doing to
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the family. Shirley said, something right, Is she on drugs?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Because this guy crackhead rode all over Yeah. Yeah, a
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: matter of fact. Let me let me, let me, let me,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: let me back it down a little bit. Is she
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: on math? M? Let me tell you what when you
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: see her look at her teeth? Real good? Why? Because
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: if you on math, your teeth is shot. Oh you
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: ain't seen the tiger king? Yeah? Yeah, his man. Did
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you see his mouth? Oh? Oh oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: that's right. Yeah. I don't care what your sexual preference is.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: You got to want somebody was in better looking teeth
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: than that. You damn you got to have your mouth right.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: You have to, you have to. Now. I told the
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: kids she calling ready to come home. The kids say,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: don't let her come back. We just fine without it.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: You know, you messed up when your kids don't want
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: their mamma no more, your blood daughter, your blood daughter.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: We've been married fourteen years, and I've kept the marriage
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: together for the kids. Now this is interesting because now
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: they're saying to throw her in the whole marriage away.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: So she had a stepdaughter. The stepdaughter got to be
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: at least fifteen, because y'all only been together for fourteen years.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Unless she had the baby while she was out of
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the bus trip, she could have is do you think
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I should take the advice or give my wife one
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: more chance. Let me ask you something, Give your wife
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: one more chance to do what to leave a third time? Yeah?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Please advise, brother. I don't even just why you struggling
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: with her. This is not a sign of a person
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that's no longer any in love with you all her family.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: She loved something else. Now. I ain't saying she owned drugs.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: It do sound like drugs to me because she go
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: on these ben just I don't know what's wrong with her,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: but the kids deserve better. You seem like a good man.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: You probably get you a good woman. Yeah. Me personally,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: I'm just this just Steve Harvey talker. Please don't tweet
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: and facebook me about my responses because you know I
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: don't really care. No, Mom, I really don't. I didn't
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: got sixty three. I ain't got real comfortable with what
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I'm saying on this show. I divorce. Yeah, I'm divorcing her.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I don't think choice. I'm divorcing her. I'm not living
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: like this is clear. You don't want me and these kids.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I don't want to keep sending the kids through it,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and I want somebody to gree with me and the
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: kids and be in the pool, right, you can leave
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: your husband and your kids. You will be for somebody
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: that bought a bus ticket. That's what I'm old offair. Hey,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I can see if you came up. You didn't even
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: go lateral. You just took a step down. You wrote
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: a bus out west. We don't even know where that is.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, we we just west. Yeah, yeah, probably
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: just went west of the Mississippi. Ended up ended up
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: in Mississippi. Oh wow wherever. Yeah, she's a she's a
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: bad woman. She's not a good person. I'm done with it.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: You can't do what you want to do. But kid,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook. Check out
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up at
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour. It is our girl,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood from The Talk. We'll get into that right
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve, please
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: introduced our girl from the Talk. Ladies and gentlemen, give
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: it up, don't play around. We didn't no more. Here
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: she is on the show. Surely the under who you
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: know whether I answer to that? I answer to that,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you know, and even you know, I'm gonna tell you something. Culturally,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: in the worst of times, you know, we try to
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: have some levity. That's our culture, my right, brothers, and listen, man, Yes,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: that's right, that's right, that's right, because we ain'ta let
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: the devil know, he ain't getting nobody down. That's why
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: we're seeing prayers that everybody in Texas and Louisiana because
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: of the hurricane. You know what I'm saying. We want
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: people to get on the bus, get the shelter they need.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. We're playing for everybody. You
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And what's going on in Wisconsin.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: You gotta write as an American the peaceful protests. But okay,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: this is why people say, well why y'all, man, let
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: me tell you why. Okay, I'm about to say a
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: bad way. I'm sorry, calling for real, y'all catch anything
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I'm bad, I say. But the little white boy shot
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: two people seventeen walked past the damn police and ain't
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: nobody shot at him. Another black man going back to
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: his car where his children are right, get shot in
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: the back and now he paralyzed. See that's why we're
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: mad because the little boy white, he made it all
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: the way back of fifteen miles back over the state line.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: So don't that make it a federal crime? Of Tommy?
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: That make it federal? Junior? You know what? Do you
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: remember when he was me and you was talking about this,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: and we was well, never mind when we were talking
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: about how the fact that it's a federal crime when
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you go across state line. So now you're into state terrorists, right,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Still a lie, Still a lie, okay. And this is
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: why we're mad because it's a difference between how black
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: people get treated by law enforcement then how white people
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: get treated by blah blah. White people get taken to
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Burger King after you then shot up at church with
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: some black people and get it. Sorry, I'm sorry, lord,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I didn't mean to say that. I didn't mean to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: say that. Get a sound. Well, I'm trying not to
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: cuss because I could. I could let loose a string
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: of cuss words right now, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: But I'm very happy that the NBA, especially Milwaukee, the Bucks,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: the Brewers, the w NBA, Maze League Baseball, everybody decided
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: enough is enough. We're gonna protest this. But now what
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: we gotta do. We gotta get ready to vote people
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: out this negro. And I see I did good this
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: negro Daniel Camera, Kentucky Attorney General got time to go
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: speak at this book. Okay, I'm doing good. I'm doing good.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I'm doing good, competed. But he ain't got time to
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: bring the justice the people who murdered Brianna Taylor. But
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna shout out one person that y'all need to know.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: California State Senator Steve Bradford is putting forward a bill
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: in California to decertify unfit police. It's called Senate Bill
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: s I've been thirty one. This bill went ensure victims
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: of police crimes get a fair day in court because
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: we must have a mechanism the whole police accountable. All right,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: thank you, Cheryl. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Carla's reality update right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: come on, tell me get ready to get ready to
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: get ready. She is here, Carlin Ferrell with what reality update?
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Let's talk about Real Housewives of Potomac. So, Shirley,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: you text me while we were watching this all right,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: So did y'all see Karen. Did you see Karen rock
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: that all pink suit when that pink had given her
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: inner Beyonce at her Potona home coming party. That's it,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: that's right. She and her husband Bray have moved back
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: to the Potomac and so she gave a party. Now,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Gazelle and Robin, they were at the party, but they
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: felt like Karen's husband, Bray, was not included and that
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: the party was just for Karen. And I think Ray
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: had enough, Honey. He went upstairs. You know, he's olds.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: It's an old Legitiman drink. It went upstairs. Yeah, it's
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: getting late, yea brother. Ray was over it. Also, Giselle,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: she had a conversation with her friend Cal, he's a
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: friend and hairstylist about her daughters having issues with her
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: getting back together with their dad. Pastor Jamal Bryan's uh
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Gizelle's friend Cal though, he pointed out to Giselle that
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: her daughters have been through a lot and on the
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: show Gizelle Gizelle, she talked bad about their dad and
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the cheating and all of that that went on in
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: their marriage. So he's telling Giselle that you have to
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: give these girls time to adjust and deal and try
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: to digest what's going on with their parents getting back together.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: So it was very emotional for Giselle. She was crying.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: You know. Of course she doesn't want you know, she
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: wants her family to be together and if her and
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: her ex husband are working on things, trying to get
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it back together for the sake of the family. But
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the kids are like, like, you doing it now right
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: m mmmm, because they went through a lot when they
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: were younger. With all of that, and then finally Monique,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: she told her husband Chris that she wanted more date
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: nights and that she wanted more effort from him since
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: she handles everything else, she wants date nights, and not
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to mention, she recently gave birth to their third child. Yeah,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: So after that episode, air I saw on social media
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: that fans were saying that, oh, one person was saying, oh,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Monique is not happy at home, and then Monique tweeted
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: and responded to that, saying that married couples have to
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: be able to express how they feel and that viewers
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: need to stop idolizing fake couples on social media. She says,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: this is a real marriage that her and her husband
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: and they go through things, but they are still married
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and they're still you know, a family together, trying to
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: work that's it, trying to work things out. So let
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: me know what you guys think about Real Housewives up atomic.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: What do you think? Shirley, you watched it, Carla, you
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: started off with the grand Dame, and you know we
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: love the grand Yeah. Her, Yeah, and Monique, I was
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: feeling her, but I didn't. Her husband's response was a
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: bit crazy. Yeah, I don't have kids. Well, I pay
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: for everything. Yeah, like I'm a provider. So yeah, so
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: she's babies out. Hello, I want. All I'm asking for
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: is more intimacy with my husband. So that just kind
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: of rubbed me the wrong way too. I like, yeah,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I liked um my girl Ashley and m Candice. I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: like the fact that they could communicate and talk now
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: with all all the other stuff going on. But it's
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: since I Candice and Gizelle are beefing a little bit.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: They were beefing at the party, So we'll keep yeah,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: we'll keep an eye on on that. So let me
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: tell you this guy's more real housewives stories. Real Housewives
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: of New York, The Star Derenda Medley. She was fired
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: from the Real Housewives of New York. No, yes, Junior,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I was wait no you thank you, Junior? Why Carlo?
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Why because six page six says that the executives were
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: sick of her, and then other folks they said, it's
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: a rumored that she was a mean drunk on the show.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: And that's all true. That's all true. The thing you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: have it and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle actress,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: she's an actress to garcel Boubat. She is now one
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: of the new co hosts of the talk show The
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Real So congratulations to Garcelle. And that is reality update.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: You can hit me up at lip Spark Carlo on
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: the Graham Twitter and we'll talk more. All right, Sherley girl,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: all right, thank you, Carlo. Love it. We'll be back
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up

- 1:15:22Speaker 1: actually early this morning late Charles, Louisiana. It is unbelievable
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: that we have this, yeah, twenty twenty hurricanes pandemic and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: to have to evacuate doing a pant during a pandemic
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: that is a lot lots of power out of just
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: win damage um trees down, yes, roots off, yes, But
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: here's the thing. You have to stay indoors. A lot
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: of times for hurricanes, people think while the storm has
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: passed or it's been downgraded to A two, so it's
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: safe to go outside. Absolutely not. Stay put. Stay where
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you are to local authorities can assess the day, which
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: is just now being you know, daylight. The sun is out.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: So hopefully organizations like Salvation Army, FEMA, Red Cross they

- 1:16:51Speaker 1: entertainment news, Cardi b recently revealed the number one thing
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: about her husband offset that turns her on. Cartie tweeted, Okay,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: this might be weird, but one of the things that
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: turns me on about my about my man is that
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: he is really good in math. LMAO, Like that is
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: so sexy to me. Sounds like Carti is a sapio sexual,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: and those are people who are turned on by a
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: potential partner's intelligence. Okay, I've become one of them since code.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Yeah really, I didn't know that you're a sapio sexual too.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Just found out you want anything to turn me a
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: woman walking by with a code on. But j yes, sir,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you just as safe as you want it to be.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I think my nerds, Shirley, You're like, oh, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: I do smart guys. So he knows physical how cold
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: of a math as we Timber, Well, that's what she said,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: He's really good in math. Math. Yeah, Now, study see
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: a lot of people good at math to me, why
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you say that? Because he cause I wouldn't. Yeah, because you, Yeah,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: anybody you gotta see yeah and make it. Hey, let
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: me tell you something counted better than anybody on earth,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and you know how to make it. All right? We
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: shout me and see what happened. We kind of talked
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: about this story yesterday, guys and other entertainment news. NBC
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: News is apologizing for the mix up, and this was
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: a big one. They mixed up Kevin Hart and you
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: saying Bolt, how we all look alike? Yeah, you're saying
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: recently tested Polo positive for COVID nineteen. But you They
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: used Kevin picture on the post about the story. So
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: here's part of NBC's correction statement. They say, the social
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: image on this post mistakenly featured a photo of comedian
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, and the system reverted to an image of
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: heart from an unrelated video, and it has been corrected. Well.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Kevin Hart took it and stride as always, He posted,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I must have gotten really fast and tall overnight. I
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: want to take advantage of this moment and race anyone
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: in the world, anybody art, because we're looking at somebody
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: to six six is probably five six. It's just a
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: foot off, y'all. Just a foot yeah, just a of
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Kevin a tripping. What I kill M coming up? It
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: is the last break of the day, last write off
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: the day, and we'll have some clothes remarks from the
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show all right, guys,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: it's dwindling down these days. Man, sixty eight days left
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: until the November thirty election. Sixty eight Now, wow, where
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: does the time go? And it seems like it's taking
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: forever for this year to get over. Um, listen, man, Yeah,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: go to vote for one one dot org please and
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: get registered. It takes just a couple of minutes, really
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: quick in and out, and then um you can get
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: all the information you need for early voting in your state,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: all of that. Just make sure you go to vote
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: for one one dot org. All right, that's it. That's
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: all I have to say, Steve. You could take it
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: away from twenty you know, man, Um, I'm a pretty
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: positive person, you know, and I try to be motivational.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I'm an optimistic person and I try to keep it real.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: It's sort of funny how people are. You know, Junior,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: it's probably the youngest one on the show in terms
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: of being on the show, and probably just the youngest.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: And he got a text yesterday from a listener, but
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: not a listener who listens often, and was kind of
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: messing with Junior about the fact that he felt like
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: we shouldn't have said anything about herschel Walker, that we
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: were racist for discussing herschel Walker, and where's your leader
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: when it comes to this black lives movement? Meaning me?
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Of course, So I knew right away by the tone
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: of his text to Junior that he wasn't an advid
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: listener of this show, because if you're an avid listener
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: of the show, you know full well where all of
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: us stand in terms of Black Lives matter. You realized
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: that we dedicate a huge part of our show to
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: the support of the protesters, the causes, the issues. You
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: would know that we are on the front lines of
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: this voting issue and trying to get our millions of
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: listeners registered to vote to probably get rid of the
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: same person that you're probably defending when you call us
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: a racist because we were doing something about herschel Walker.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: First of all, it was Tommy and I are doing
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: a joke about hershel Walker. But if you want to
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: be sincere, I don't give a damn that Donald Trump
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: got on the ride with your family on the It's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: a small world after all ride. And how dare we
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: think he's a racist because he got on the ride
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: with your family? See herschel Walker. You keep forgetting that
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you had on the jersey that you played professional football,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: and that's probably why the only reason Donald Trump even
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: know you. And so the fact that he got on
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: the ride with your family does not quail or the
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: feels of the rest of us who watch him divide
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the country. Riding on a ride with your family does
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: not excuse the fact that he has divided this country,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: and that's what he's done. I watched the Republican National Convention.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I watched their last ditch attempt to actually act like
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: they care, to act like they swiftly acted about the
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: coronavirus thing, when clearly we know that's not what has happened.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I've watched them through the entire convention, not mentioning one
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: thing to make the protesters of Black Lives Matter feel better,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: to even acknowledge the fact that that is a need
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: to protest when all you can do is to roll
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: up your bass come up with the blue Live Matter campaign. Yeah,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: we think police lives matter, but we're not killing the police.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: The police is killing us. And for you, as the
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: President of the United States, to never acknowledge the fact
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: that is a problem here that's directed at black people,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you are sorely mistaken because we get it, and I
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: got a lot of news for you, mister President. A
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: lot of white people get it. And I know it's
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: angering you because you keep wanting your base to feel
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the same way you do, and they do now as
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: optimistic and as positive I am. That's the sad part
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: of this whole equation, because I know that on voting night,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: forty some million people will cast to vote for Donald Trump,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: which means forty some million people agree with him how
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: he is, what he does, how he says, and what
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: he represents, and they will vote for him. Forty some
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: million That ain't but three hundred and fifty four million
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Americans here, so over ten percent gonna vote for him.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: But that's just the ones who vote. The rest of
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: them who don't vote for whatever reason, who are still
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: feeling the way he is now everybody that votes for
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Donald Trump isn't a racist. That's not the statement that
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I'm making. But if you're the Republican Party, which is
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: supposed to be the party of morality, how can you
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: have this guy as your front man who clearly you
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: know is not moral. That's like having this dude, Jerry
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Farwell Junior the head of Liberty University. Oh really, all
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: the super righteous evangelical Southern Christian people got flaws too.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Yeah they do, Yeah they do. But I want to
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: share something with you all, because you are in the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Southern Christian community, are awful quiet when it comes to
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Black lives matter. You get real quiet because I guess
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: it don't sink and jibe with your belief of what
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: God is all about. But God created all of us,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and he created all of us equal, and whether you
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: believe that or not, that's the truth. But I don't
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: really know if you believe it because you accept the
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: mistreatment of black people as it's supposed to be normal.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: And now you're mad at the NBA and the Major
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: League Baseball players and the soccer players for not wanting
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: to play sports on a certain day. You know why,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: because they tired too, and now, a lot of white
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: people got tired of it, and we're tired of your
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: administration not acknowledging the problems of a large group of
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: your people as a large group of your peers have.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: And for that, sir, it will cost you your position
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: in the White House. That's what's going to happen. Vote
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: for one one dot org gets the website to go to,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: and we're gonna vote early, and we're gonna vote often,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: and on November fifth, you will not be in the
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: White House. For all Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary,
