- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man,
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Do you understand that? I'm telling
- 2:15Speaker 1: you God been big in my life. God, God is
- 2:18Speaker 1: a gentleman. You know. I want to I want to
- 2:21Speaker 1: point that out to you. God is an absolute gentleman.
- 2:26Speaker 1: He will not come in unless he's invited. He don't
- 2:31Speaker 1: just barge into your life. He gives us the power
- 2:35Speaker 1: of choice. You know. If you say you got it,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I don't need you. He let you have it. If
- 2:41Speaker 1: you say I need you, come see about me. He
- 2:45Speaker 1: right there. It's just a real simple thing. Man. So
- 2:50Speaker 1: always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself into something,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and please know I have I man, and see that.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That's why I'm so adamant about it because I've gotten
- 3:04Speaker 1: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life. But
- 3:08Speaker 1: I've been I've I've had some low moments, man, I've
- 3:11Speaker 1: had some moments where I did not know what to do.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I didn't know what was next, I didn't know how
- 3:19Speaker 1: to go about it. I didn't have no more ideas.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,
- 3:30Speaker 1: might not make it past this one. But then if
- 3:34Speaker 1: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And
- 3:37Speaker 1: then I held on to this little thing that my
- 3:39Speaker 1: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes when
- 3:43Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope, she said,
- 3:47Speaker 1: just hope it'll be all right, you know. And what
- 3:50Speaker 1: I've learned in my life is that hope. It's the
- 3:53Speaker 1: beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there a possibility
- 3:59Speaker 1: out there for me? Me? I sure hope something happened.
- 4:04Speaker 1: See hope, hope it's okay, man, Because like I said,
- 4:09Speaker 1: for me, the way I've lived my life, hope was
- 4:12Speaker 1: the beginning of faith. It was just the idea. It's
- 4:16Speaker 1: just the thought that something could change from me, that
- 4:19Speaker 1: something could be a little bit different. From me that maybe, man,
- 4:23Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:34Speaker 1: any other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up. Maybe
- 4:39Speaker 1: somebody will forgive me. Maybe somebody will just say all right.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't know, but I can't count the times I've
- 4:47Speaker 1: been in that position. But then once I hope a
- 4:52Speaker 1: little bit, and then I remember Also my mother, because
- 4:54Speaker 1: she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me the
- 4:57Speaker 1: most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life. Nothing
- 5:01Speaker 1: has been greater in my life than my faith. She
- 5:04Speaker 1: taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when it
- 5:08Speaker 1: get real, dog for your son, prayd changes things. She said,
- 5:13Speaker 1: When you seem like you lost and you can't finding
- 5:16Speaker 1: your way, stop and pray, she said, because prayd changes things.
- 5:22Speaker 1: You know, when you get a point in your life
- 5:24Speaker 1: when you've done all you can do and you can't
- 5:26Speaker 1: do no more and you just don't know what to
- 5:28Speaker 1: do next, she says, stop, So pray and combine that
- 5:35Speaker 1: prayer with that hope that you got, she said, because
- 5:40Speaker 1: that hope is the beginning of faith. She said. If
- 5:43Speaker 1: you pray, just hoping. She's saying that God come through
- 5:47Speaker 1: for you. That will give you confidence that he can
- 5:50Speaker 1: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 1: she's saying, you start believing. She saying, that's when you're
- 5:58Speaker 1: on to something. If you can turn that hope into belief,
- 6:06Speaker 1: that hope into faith, that's that's the ability to believe
- 6:14Speaker 1: in something that you can't see. But the key though,
- 6:17Speaker 1: the faith is you're believing in something that you can't see.
- 6:22Speaker 1: See hoping a little bit different from me now, I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: pretty sure. Like I say, oftentimes to tell a lot
- 6:27Speaker 1: of people who can explain this thing a lot better
- 6:29Speaker 1: than I can to you, hope. It's just kind of
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't know how to I don't know how to
- 6:34Speaker 1: say it. But I'm just telling you hope. You're just
- 6:36Speaker 1: hoping it worked out right. You just have a thought
- 6:39Speaker 1: in your mind that you know, man, whoever you are,
- 6:43Speaker 1: or whoever you are, whatever you are, to me, God,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I show hope something change. Hope helps. Man. If you
- 6:51Speaker 1: ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, hope, and
- 6:57Speaker 1: then if you pray with some hope and God answers
- 7:01Speaker 1: your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence, and
- 7:07Speaker 1: after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now they're just hoping,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but I'm believing. I'm believing it's something that I cannot see.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 7:27Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 7:32Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 7:38Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 7:44Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 7:48Speaker 1: your faith. See. A lot of people get the word
- 7:53Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
- 7:56Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
- 7:59Speaker 1: out here. But really an essence, man, when I talk
- 8:03Speaker 1: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
- 8:08Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
- 8:19Speaker 1: me today. It is the faith that I have in
- 8:23Speaker 1: my relationship with God that enables me to just oftentimes,
- 8:30Speaker 1: if I stay on the right course and believe a
- 8:33Speaker 1: certain way and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:39Speaker 1: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
- 8:43Speaker 1: little ways too. I've started to notice, See it ain't
- 8:46Speaker 1: just a lot of people think blessings is money. And now, man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that ain't it. It's coverage. It's every time my plane
- 8:53Speaker 1: lands safe. It's every time they predict bad weather and
- 8:58Speaker 1: I get up in the sky and it don't be
- 9:00Speaker 1: no bad weather. You know this, This is favor. These
- 9:05Speaker 1: are blessings that get poured out to me. Somebody call
- 9:08Speaker 1: me and offer me something, not money, but an opportunity. See,
- 9:14Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:18Speaker 1: into God. Once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:23Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:26Speaker 1: him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:29Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:33Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:36Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:39Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:41Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Come on? Why why would you not change? Why would
- 9:48Speaker 1: you not allow God to be a part of your life?
- 9:51Speaker 1: God got some big plans for you. If he didn't,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening to ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:02Speaker 1: we are here the beginning of a new day. Thank you, Lord,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I shall appreciate it ever, grateful for this opportunity. That's
- 10:11Speaker 1: how I look at it. I want us all to
- 10:13Speaker 1: sharing that that if you walk up this morning or
- 10:16Speaker 1: you're still here, that's an opportunity and a blessing and
- 10:21Speaker 1: a whole lot of grace. So let's do that. Let's
- 10:24Speaker 1: all say thank you, thank you, thank you, Lord. Appreciate it.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Let it begin. Shirley Strawberry, thank you
- 10:34Speaker 1: Lord again. Good morning see Colin Farrell give him all
- 10:39Speaker 1: the praise and glory. Amen, Good morning, Cure Spates slash
- 10:44Speaker 1: Junior Lord. I can't do it without you. I tried
- 10:50Speaker 1: it for a number of years. I really did. I said,
- 10:54Speaker 1: let me gonna, let me gonna do this hill. See
- 10:57Speaker 1: how far they get me? The short ride? Yeah, you
- 11:01Speaker 1: were doing you just stupid. Yes. Forgiveness. It's important to me,
- 11:11Speaker 1: you know. Yeah. I came on there, you know, took
- 11:15Speaker 1: the long way around. Wish I had nobody. Taking the
- 11:18Speaker 1: long way around taught me. Taught me a lot like,
- 11:21Speaker 1: don't do that no more. I mean I learned it
- 11:23Speaker 1: for real. Don't do that, nomal you know that that
- 11:26Speaker 1: or that, or do it by yourself. I'm fitting to
- 11:28Speaker 1: figure this out. I didn't work out for me, y'all
- 11:34Speaker 1: know I saw something. Man, you was online. You were
- 11:36Speaker 1: talking about forgiveness, and man, you said something. Man that
- 11:40Speaker 1: was I never thought about it. You said, once God
- 11:43Speaker 1: forgive me, I'm through with you. Everybody else they don't
- 11:45Speaker 1: even matter. I don't. I don't allow you to hold
- 11:51Speaker 1: me to my past when God has allowed me to
- 11:55Speaker 1: move past it. I don't do that anymore. I used to.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I used to let people, you know, kind of hold
- 12:02Speaker 1: me to stuff. I stopped doing that. And if you're
- 12:04Speaker 1: that person, then right me and you through not guilt.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Let me say something because I had this conversation the
- 12:10Speaker 1: other day with some young people. Guilt I was learning
- 12:13Speaker 1: is the most useless emotion we have as people, because
- 12:17Speaker 1: guilt serves no purpose. Yeah yeah, well, and because guilt
- 12:25Speaker 1: and see one of the young lady I was talking to,
- 12:28Speaker 1: she said, well, guilt proves that you're human because you
- 12:31Speaker 1: don't want to have more than somebody else said. You
- 12:35Speaker 1: don't want no, no, no, no no. Guilt is useless
- 12:39Speaker 1: and the guilt only happens when someone else doesn't want
- 12:44Speaker 1: you to have more than they have, or someone else
- 12:48Speaker 1: is using manipulation to make you feel some kind of
- 12:53Speaker 1: way about their position versus your position and that's not fair. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: even your kids can do that. And that's what I
- 13:00Speaker 1: had to learn as a mom. You know, that's expression
- 13:04Speaker 1: mom guilt. I had that. But um, and you know
- 13:07Speaker 1: I would buy things, you know, because I had guilt.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So just buy my daughter whatever she wanted. But yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 1: I guess straight from a very young age can manipulate you. Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: they're very manipulative, very you know. They know how to
- 13:24Speaker 1: turn on those water works and all of that. You know,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and if you've got that soft heart for your kids,
- 13:30Speaker 1: you know. Anyway, thanks for that lesson, Steve. We're moving on.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour of
- 13:38Speaker 1: time for Ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:41Speaker 1: in the building right after this, you're listening to all right, guys,
- 13:47Speaker 1: time now for Ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This one is from Cherry in New Orleans. Cherry says,
- 13:57Speaker 1: my co worker has flirted with me for two years,
- 14:00Speaker 1: and now that I'm single, I decided to go to
- 14:02Speaker 1: dinner with him. I let him pick me up only
- 14:05Speaker 1: because I know him well. He got to my house
- 14:09Speaker 1: and his car was filthy and it smelled like feet.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I told him how foul it smells, and he suggested
- 14:14Speaker 1: we go in my car. I canceled the date and
- 14:18Speaker 1: him all last week he called me a goody two
- 14:21Speaker 1: shoes and I told him if his car was nasty,
- 14:23Speaker 1: his house is probably nasty too. I didn't need to
- 14:27Speaker 1: add insult to injury, but I did. Should I apologize
- 14:30Speaker 1: or not? Clo Well, you know, if you feel like
- 14:34Speaker 1: you should apologize, you shoot it. What's it gonna hurt you?
- 14:37Speaker 1: But don't apologize in me and go out with him,
- 14:40Speaker 1: because chances are you're probably correct. Now she's calling you
- 14:44Speaker 1: goody two shoes. That's that's because you like clean stuff.
- 14:48Speaker 1: That makes you goody two shoes. That's that's probably you
- 14:51Speaker 1: don't want to be a stinky car. That sounds like
- 14:54Speaker 1: Feebee's trif. And he said, well, let's go in your car.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I mean, if a man listen to this, If a
- 15:03Speaker 1: man is picking you up for the first time, you
- 15:05Speaker 1: expect him to just be on his best behavior, put
- 15:08Speaker 1: his road. I trust me. If he won't clean his
- 15:11Speaker 1: car up and knowing he's going on a date, okay,
- 15:15Speaker 1: then what else is he not willing to do it?
- 15:17Speaker 1: This is true. He'd been flirting with you. Just leave
- 15:20Speaker 1: it at that, going about your business. You're absolutely correct,
- 15:23Speaker 1: it's more behind it. First of all, he's not trying
- 15:26Speaker 1: to impress you. That's a problem. Let's take your car.
- 15:30Speaker 1: That's a problem. You goody to choose because you like
- 15:33Speaker 1: clean stuff. That's a problem. Listen they please listen. No,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I am all right, moving on. Sebastian and Los Angeles says,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm at a beautiful woman, and she's got a roommate
- 15:46Speaker 1: that's beautiful too. The other night, they had a small
- 15:49Speaker 1: dinner party and invited me. There were several people there,
- 15:53Speaker 1: but I was the only guy they invited. I thought
- 15:56Speaker 1: I was dating the lady I met first, but her
- 15:58Speaker 1: roommate was sitting in my lap and she even fixed
- 16:00Speaker 1: a plate for me. I'm an old school type of guy,
- 16:03Speaker 1: So should I ask the lady I met first if
- 16:06Speaker 1: we're dating. I'm hearing more. He's so confused. I'm fifty
- 16:10Speaker 1: four and she's thirty, So I need your help. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you probably need to go on and ask, just say
- 16:19Speaker 1: hold on, wait a minute. Hold, I'm confused. I come
- 16:23Speaker 1: over your house and then your roommate is sitting in
- 16:26Speaker 1: my lap and makes me a plate. Now I need
- 16:30Speaker 1: to know it's am I. Who am I dating? Here?
- 16:34Speaker 1: All three of us, don't. I don't say that, start over,
- 16:42Speaker 1: start over, keep that to yourself, but just say, hey, look,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I want to ask you a question. I came here
- 16:48Speaker 1: thinking it was you, but then your roommate is sitting
- 16:52Speaker 1: in my lap and fixing me food. So I'm confused.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Am I to date your roommate? Am I to date you?
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'm so confused. I don't understand. Okay, all ye that yeah,
- 17:08Speaker 1: because I'm confused, But yeah, all right, Uh play attention
- 17:12Speaker 1: to this one's Clo LaDonna and Valdosta, Georgia says mister c.
- 17:17Speaker 1: L O. I'm sixty seven and I heard you say
- 17:21Speaker 1: that old people need to stop referring to themselves as freaky.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I beg your pardon because I'm still very freaky. And
- 17:29Speaker 1: my husband is sixty eight and he is too. But
- 17:33Speaker 1: here's the problem. He's starting to watch a lot of
- 17:36Speaker 1: porn and he ends up handling his business all by
- 17:38Speaker 1: himself a lot. Why does he choose that over actually
- 17:42Speaker 1: having sex with me? Mister C Well, you know, thanks,
- 17:52Speaker 1: since we're being honest with each other. If a man
- 17:57Speaker 1: prefers porno and himself over you. Then let me ask
- 18:03Speaker 1: you a question. Why do you think he prefers porn
- 18:08Speaker 1: and himself over you? Miss? I still got it. I'm
- 18:13Speaker 1: so freaky sixty seven freaky. Well, that's what she wants
- 18:17Speaker 1: to know from you, Cella. Why does he choose porn
- 18:20Speaker 1: over actually having sex with her? Freaky and good? Is
- 18:25Speaker 1: two different than you know? Maybe you got feather dusters
- 18:31Speaker 1: in the room and you don't look suitcase under the bed.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I don't know what you're working with. But maybe maybe
- 18:37Speaker 1: he don't want all that father you know, yeah, you
- 18:41Speaker 1: in here, you know you got French ticklers and you
- 18:43Speaker 1: know he don't like he don't want all that, you know,
- 18:48Speaker 1: but he watches porn. Make it makes sense? You can
- 18:53Speaker 1: buy the poort a movie. You won't, you know, bol
- 19:01Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell. Huh. She the one
- 19:07Speaker 1: in here thinking she all that freaky, but he don't
- 19:09Speaker 1: want to be with her. You want to be with
- 19:11Speaker 1: the point movie in himself. Now, obviously something you doing
- 19:15Speaker 1: ain't all that freaking Well, Okay, you're the clo chief
- 19:21Speaker 1: freaky officer. Okay, all right, I got yeah, I don't
- 19:27Speaker 1: know what you you know what? Yeah, Okay, I got it.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You know you come talking out with I got news
- 19:33Speaker 1: for you. I'm freaking he freaking too? Oh really? But here? Okay,
- 19:39Speaker 1: well he's freaking in the movie and he freaking with
- 19:44Speaker 1: his self. Now, okay, I'm just saying no to that's
- 19:51Speaker 1: that boy too. We're moving on. Angela in Manhattan says,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm a forty two year old dancer and I do
- 20:00Speaker 1: private bachelor and bachelorette parties. I was hired to dance
- 20:03Speaker 1: for a guy's fortieth birthday party and his wife set
- 20:05Speaker 1: it all up. When I got there, the birthday boy
- 20:08Speaker 1: asked if I would fool around with his wife and
- 20:10Speaker 1: let him watch. I told him it would be extra,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and he paid me. His wife and I hooked up
- 20:16Speaker 1: a few more times since then, and he found out.
- 20:18Speaker 1: He got on social media and trashed me. Is there
- 20:22Speaker 1: any way I can stop him? What that just ain't
- 20:27Speaker 1: gonna do with love? So a lot of freaky stuff
- 20:32Speaker 1: going on. He paid extra for you to do something
- 20:38Speaker 1: extra with his wife, and he watched me, and y'all
- 20:40Speaker 1: hooked up a few times after. Now he trashing you
- 20:42Speaker 1: on social media? What you've dripping for? All right? No

- 21:13Speaker 1: we'll talk about it at the top of the Hour
- 21:15Speaker 1: of Courts, but right now, Junior is in for the
- 21:18Speaker 1: nephew who's vacationing somewhere exotic. We heard on some island.
- 21:23Speaker 1: But anyway, Junior is then for the nephew with run
- 21:25Speaker 1: that fightback. He's islanding. He's in Mehicol, what what you
- 21:33Speaker 1: got for us? Junior? Well, you know, Shirley call it.
- 21:36Speaker 1: You know you can't. You can't play with people when
- 21:38Speaker 1: they get you start talking about the save you. Okay,
- 21:40Speaker 1: they bad people. You seious about this. So this is
- 21:42Speaker 1: me and my Jesus. Man man, man, Me and my Jesus.

- 22:01Speaker 1: I am Okay, listen, I'm calling you. They are some
- 22:06Speaker 1: of the members have gotten together and had a meeting
- 22:08Speaker 1: and wanted me to give you a call. It seems
- 22:13Speaker 1: that a lot of them are complaining about Sunday services
- 22:18Speaker 1: that go on and wanted for me to give you
- 22:21Speaker 1: a call on their behalf so that we can see
- 22:23Speaker 1: if we can address the problem and talk to you
- 22:26Speaker 1: diligently as possible and try to get the problem rectified.
- 22:29Speaker 1: What's going on, Well, it seems like that a lot
- 22:34Speaker 1: of members are complaining. I'm sorry, and what is your
- 22:38Speaker 1: name again? My name is Man. I'm not actually a
- 22:42Speaker 1: member of the church. I've just been the one that
- 22:44Speaker 1: they've been asked to give you a call and try
- 22:46Speaker 1: to talk on the members behalf, so maybe we can
- 22:48Speaker 1: get this problem rectified that you that they have as
- 22:52Speaker 1: far as you are concerned, now, okay, go ahead, I'm
- 22:55Speaker 1: just trying to see what this is in regards to
- 22:56Speaker 1: go ahead. Well, it seems like the members of the
- 22:59Speaker 1: church are complaining about that you're doing too much shouting
- 23:04Speaker 1: at church on Sunday, and it seems to be going
- 23:07Speaker 1: on every Sunday. You're running up and down the aisle
- 23:09Speaker 1: and you're shouting all over the place, and me, I've
- 23:13Speaker 1: been singled out about my shouting. Is that what you're saying, well, ever,
- 23:17Speaker 1: Dinny is distracting, ma'am. You're distracting everyone from me getting
- 23:20Speaker 1: the word and listening to the word and being involved
- 23:23Speaker 1: in the service. And that's the purpose of the call
- 23:26Speaker 1: is to see if we can get you to tone
- 23:27Speaker 1: it down some. Okay, So the whole church is complaining
- 23:30Speaker 1: about me shouting the way people run up and down
- 23:33Speaker 1: them off every Sunday and almost saying cart wheels and flips,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and they're singling me out, complained about me. Well, ma'am,
- 23:40Speaker 1: I don't know how it is that you can see
- 23:42Speaker 1: everybody else doing cart wheels when you're the ones that
- 23:45Speaker 1: they say is the one that's doing them. Am I
- 23:48Speaker 1: being singled out? Man. All I'm saying is that they're
- 23:51Speaker 1: saying that you're doing too much shouting and too much
- 23:53Speaker 1: running at this church. Now I'm just the message. Okay. Well,
- 23:57Speaker 1: they can't tell me how to shout. They don't. They
- 23:59Speaker 1: can't tell me what's going on in my life, what's
- 24:01Speaker 1: gonna keep me from praising God? And they, I mean,
- 24:04Speaker 1: they could just they could go somewhere else with that.
- 24:06Speaker 1: But they're not gonna tell me that I can't praise
- 24:08Speaker 1: my God. They don't know how good God it's being
- 24:10Speaker 1: to me. And you know what, I understand that I
- 24:13Speaker 1: agree with you wholeheartedly, but it's becoming a distraction. I mean,
- 24:17Speaker 1: they was at the point last night talking about should
- 24:20Speaker 1: we put some seatbelts on the pews so so you
- 24:22Speaker 1: can stay? Do we stay? We'll put some seat but high.
- 24:25Speaker 1: They're gonna tell people they can't shout in church, embrace God.
- 24:28Speaker 1: What do we come to church for? Well, you do
- 24:30Speaker 1: come to We need to be trying to praise God
- 24:32Speaker 1: and get they all shout on and stop looking at
- 24:34Speaker 1: me and everybody what I'm doing. We're gonna need you
- 24:36Speaker 1: to quit running up and down these aisles and doing
- 24:39Speaker 1: what you go. I'm sorry, you know, I'm trying to
- 24:41Speaker 1: stay calm. I'm trying my best. Who Jesus chief sir
- 24:47Speaker 1: that that's not happening. You can't tell me I gotta
- 24:49Speaker 1: stop shouting. Okay, man, but let me ask you. Are
- 24:51Speaker 1: you running now? Aren't you just standing still talking? Because
- 24:54Speaker 1: I don't have to run right now? Okay, what I'm
- 24:57Speaker 1: trying to get you to do the like if don't
- 24:59Speaker 1: want to run up and down the street right now,
- 25:00Speaker 1: I can run up and down the street and place God,
- 25:02Speaker 1: but they're not gonna tell me to stop shouting at church.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Can we get you to be a little bit more
- 25:06Speaker 1: reserved as what we see? Man, let me let me
- 25:09Speaker 1: go ahead and go further on what they do. The
- 25:12Speaker 1: spirit moves. Okay, well, let me move and tell you
- 25:15Speaker 1: what they've told me. Now, if we can't get to
- 25:19Speaker 1: the point where you can, you know, tone it down,
- 25:22Speaker 1: then we may have to ask you to leave. I
- 25:24Speaker 1: just want to let them ask me, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
- 25:29Speaker 1: you let them ask me. Why don't they want me
- 25:31Speaker 1: to leave the church. I've been at that church for
- 25:34Speaker 1: fifteen years. I'm not leaving the church. I'm gonna run
- 25:37Speaker 1: up and down. I'm not gonna run on the church.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I don't even turn me where I feel like it not. Now, listen,
- 25:45Speaker 1: that's all. I'm okay, go ahead, but I'm gonna be there.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm going to I'm going to be there on Sunday. Man,
- 25:52Speaker 1: and I have been the person that's been appointed to
- 25:55Speaker 1: make sure that you're not running up and down these
- 25:57Speaker 1: house and shotting like this. You got to keep yourself reserved.
- 26:00Speaker 1: People can hear the word of God. You are standing
- 26:02Speaker 1: in people's word. That's what you're doing. You're in the whale.
- 26:05Speaker 1: If they come trying to send me down, I'm gonna
- 26:07Speaker 1: get them a word and it ain't gonna be your God.
- 26:09Speaker 1: So I let him put that hands up on me
- 26:11Speaker 1: here now listen, I'm telling you that. Now you could say,
- 26:14Speaker 1: I haven't been in that church fifteen years. If I
- 26:16Speaker 1: want to run, dad shout, jump quit. Whatever I want
- 26:20Speaker 1: to do, I'm gonna do it. Ain't nobody gonna stop me.
- 26:22Speaker 1: You're gonna have to stop this. This past Sunday was
- 26:25Speaker 1: your last Sunday doing it, and you're not gonna do
- 26:28Speaker 1: with this Sunday. Like I said, just why let and
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you could tell the un sues the deacon void.
- 26:33Speaker 1: The deacon asked the minister's wives or who all asked
- 26:36Speaker 1: you want to tell? Let him put their hands on
- 26:37Speaker 1: me and see if I don't sling on them, I'm
- 26:39Speaker 1: gonna come run about the spirit and sling on it.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you that now because he sell you can
- 26:43Speaker 1: really push me that on and tried and try. Let
- 26:46Speaker 1: me ask you this here where you're trying to show
- 26:49Speaker 1: that I'm saved and never but you make it you
- 26:51Speaker 1: if you're making me revert back to my own ways
- 26:53Speaker 1: and you you really to me off, that's what you're
- 26:55Speaker 1: gonna do. Okay, well, let me ask you this, what
- 26:58Speaker 1: is the God at right now in you? Where's the
- 27:00Speaker 1: one that say, yeah, it was? The God was in
- 27:03Speaker 1: me when I was trying to be called with you
- 27:05Speaker 1: at first to tell you don't me calling me with
- 27:06Speaker 1: this foolishness, but now you have to make the other
- 27:09Speaker 1: side of me rose up. Well, you wouldn't raise it up,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and you wouldn't raise it up in me too. Guess
- 27:13Speaker 1: what come signing You're gonna set y'all in that pew
- 27:16Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna you know when you call yourself
- 27:19Speaker 1: a mad because we can in the pew. Okay, all right,
- 27:23Speaker 1: all right, We're gonna see how where I'm not sitting
- 27:25Speaker 1: a few matter fact, first thing, Sidne the morning, I'm
- 27:28Speaker 1: going the past. Oh yeah, Deacon you are whatever your
- 27:32Speaker 1: name is. I'm gonna telling about it, yad, matter how
- 27:35Speaker 1: long you need to lose, I would be talking to
- 27:38Speaker 1: pastor myself and letting him know about this situation. You
- 27:41Speaker 1: don't talk. You don't we can call pass right around.
- 27:44Speaker 1: We just passed. Don't right. You don't talk to pastor.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I talk to pastor. The pastor I don't at this church.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Fifteen Yes, Like I said, I'm telling you old Jesus.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Ge Oh you you feel old Jesus not not not not.
- 27:56Speaker 1: See just like this here you see how you calling
- 27:58Speaker 1: on him and you standing yeah, because I'm talking on
- 28:01Speaker 1: him to Kidney, was just really going to cuss you
- 28:03Speaker 1: out right there because you didn't really hit my nerve.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you, ladies.
- 28:08Speaker 1: You say real quick because you're gonna talk to this
- 28:11Speaker 1: operator that's his nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You just got a break by your girl. You're not
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm oh, I'm oh, I'm gonna kill lord up cursing
- 28:31Speaker 1: on the part. Okay, Jesus, I got one more thing, baby.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. What is the baddest I'm
- 28:36Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land Harvey Morning.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I told y'all she was gonna be seeing by HERR Jesus.
- 28:47Speaker 1: She was not playing. She said, I can scream, yell, jump, flip,
- 28:52Speaker 1: in this church out Who are you to tell me
- 28:56Speaker 1: how to see the send the pews for what I knew,
- 29:00Speaker 1: what Jesus brought me out of. Yeah, I'll know my journey,
- 29:06Speaker 1: don't testimony. I love it, that's true. All right, Well,
- 29:11Speaker 1: thank you, Junior. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:13Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment and national news right after this.
- 29:17Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Chrissy Teagan released a lengthy apology
- 29:24Speaker 1: on Monday for her toxic tweets against Courtney Stodden, Lindsay Lohan,
- 29:29Speaker 1: and others. Chrissie posted, as you know, a bunch of
- 29:33Speaker 1: my old, awful, awful, awful tweets resurfaced. I'm truly ashamed
- 29:40Speaker 1: of them. As I look at them and understand the
- 29:42Speaker 1: hurt they caused, I have to stop and wonder how
- 29:45Speaker 1: could I have done that? There is simply no excuse
- 29:48Speaker 1: for my past horrible tweets. She also wrote, my targets
- 29:52Speaker 1: didn't deserve them, No one does. Many of them needed
- 29:56Speaker 1: empty empathy, kindness, understanding, and support, not my meanness masquerading
- 30:02Speaker 1: as a kind of casual edgy humor. I was a troll,
- 30:05Speaker 1: full stop, and I am so sorry. So this is
- 30:11Speaker 1: what happened. Maybe you don't know the backstory about this.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Chrissie is referring to. Yeah, Chrissie is referring to Courtney Stotten,
- 30:21Speaker 1: who married actor dutt Doug Hutchinson when he was fifty
- 30:25Speaker 1: and she was just sixteen years old. They divorced in
- 30:29Speaker 1: early twenty twenty after a tumultuous decade together. Stodden has
- 30:34Speaker 1: accused her ex husband of taking advantage of her and
- 30:38Speaker 1: verbally abusing her. Stotten also has publicly called out Teagan
- 30:44Speaker 1: in the past for her abusive tweets, some of which
- 30:46Speaker 1: were calls for her to kill herself quite frankly. Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Brands like Macy's and Target have distanced themselves from Chrissy Teagan.
- 30:56Speaker 1: She publicly apologized via Twitter. Chrissie says she's continuing to
- 31:00Speaker 1: work on herself and making amends privately with others. So
- 31:05Speaker 1: she's working. It was a long time ago, but it
- 31:11Speaker 1: was harsh, it was mean, it was cold with the
- 31:14Speaker 1: stuff that she said, and so I guess it's good
- 31:18Speaker 1: that she's taking ownership of it now. But a lot
- 31:21Speaker 1: of people are saying that she's doing it because because
- 31:24Speaker 1: she's losing losing money. Well, it happened a long time ago.
- 31:30Speaker 1: She apologized. You have to allow people to get up,
- 31:34Speaker 1: you know, you can't just hold people to their mistakes forever.
- 31:38Speaker 1: She apologized, and the old the old tweet surfaced again, right,
- 31:44Speaker 1: and she's she's going back to apologize again. She can't
- 31:48Speaker 1: do no more. Yeah, it may have been horrible at
- 31:51Speaker 1: the well, it may have been horrible at the time,
- 31:55Speaker 1: and I understand it, and she admitted it. But she's
- 31:58Speaker 1: she's asked for forgiveness and she said everything and I resurface.
- 32:02Speaker 1: She's apologized again. She can't do nothing else. Yeah, she's apologized.
- 32:06Speaker 1: She made a mistake. It was horrible. She said, she
- 32:09Speaker 1: wished she had enough. She can't believe she did it.
- 32:11Speaker 1: But it's done. Everybody survived it, let her up, so
- 32:17Speaker 1: she can move on. Now. Everybody that wants to keep
- 32:20Speaker 1: crushing her forward, why she doing it? And all this here?
- 32:24Speaker 1: She could be sincerely sorry, right, And you know that's
- 32:28Speaker 1: the thing. This is canceled culture, and everybody's ready to
- 32:31Speaker 1: just cancel you out like that. And it a heartbeat,
- 32:34Speaker 1: and I mean just you know, in a blink of
- 32:36Speaker 1: an eye, you're done. You know, there there's no room
- 32:40Speaker 1: for redemption and stuff like this, and we all have
- 32:43Speaker 1: to remember, you know, about our past. Yeah, and we've
- 32:47Speaker 1: all made mistakes and the things that we post live on.
- 32:51Speaker 1: That's you know. And give us our trust, passion change.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive those who
- 32:59Speaker 1: trust passing. That's right. That's the Lard's prayer I say
- 33:02Speaker 1: every day, and I try to remember that when people
- 33:06Speaker 1: are asking for forgiveness, because she was hard, all of
- 33:10Speaker 1: us are going to turn around and need it. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:13Speaker 1: and we want people to forgive us, so we have
- 33:16Speaker 1: to forgive. You're absolutely right, Steve. All right, it's time
- 33:20Speaker 1: for the news, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trip. President
- 33:24Speaker 1: Biden scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and
- 33:26Speaker 1: Geneva tomorrow. The presidents already met with the leaders of Estonia, Latvia,
- 33:31Speaker 1: and Lithuania to discuss the threat that Russia posts to
- 33:34Speaker 1: NATO's eastern flank. A woman was killed in Minneapolis Sunday
- 33:38Speaker 1: night by a man who rammed his car into a
- 33:40Speaker 1: mixed race crowd protesting the killing June third of a
- 33:43Speaker 1: reportedly unarmed black man by sheriff's deputies. Seek me to
- 33:46Speaker 1: arrest him on a firearms warrn't. The cops said he
- 33:49Speaker 1: had a gun. People near him said he didn't. A
- 33:51Speaker 1: local activist named DJ Hooks was there. Court came out
- 33:54Speaker 1: of us going seventy or eighty miles an hour. It
- 33:58Speaker 1: hasn't got through the first street. It even set up
- 34:01Speaker 1: as it got to the car, and they hit the car.
- 34:04Speaker 1: They hit the car. Protesters detained the apparent driver until
- 34:07Speaker 1: the police arrived and they turned him over to them.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I guess not everybody saw or heard of the movie
- 34:13Speaker 1: Hidden Figures about those three brilliant Black American women who
- 34:16Speaker 1: work for NASA. I say that because two other extremely
- 34:19Speaker 1: bright Southern girlstorian salutarian of their high school, West Point
- 34:23Speaker 1: in Mississippi, have now been forced to share those positions
- 34:28Speaker 1: with two white students whose families complain to the school
- 34:31Speaker 1: administrations when the black young ladies earned the honors over
- 34:34Speaker 1: their children. So now there are two valedictorians and two salutarians,
- 34:39Speaker 1: even though the black children say they took harder and
- 34:41Speaker 1: more advanced classes which the two white students did not take.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Right wing media has twisted everything, claiming the black girl's
- 34:47Speaker 1: honors was supposed to a mistake from the beginning. No
- 34:50Speaker 1: one else is saying that, but right wing media is
- 34:52Speaker 1: saying that California is opening up today. As of today,
- 34:56Speaker 1: masks are no longer required in the Golden State. That's
- 34:59Speaker 1: right to say the ape. You do have to take
- 35:01Speaker 1: your mask with you because you may go to a
- 35:03Speaker 1: store that still prefers to require you with the mask that.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Don't fight about it, just carry with you. But generally speaking,
- 35:09Speaker 1: today California opening up nasts no longer requiring. Fact today
- 35:13Speaker 1: is finally National Dairy Day. Milk in my coffee and
- 35:21Speaker 1: in my corn flakes. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 35:24Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show. All right, Junior with

- 36:07Speaker 1: thank you. Yeah, Happy Father's Day. Well, you know, June
- 36:11Speaker 1: is black music mom. And yesterday we kind of talked
- 36:15Speaker 1: about Soul to Soul. Remember the group sold to Soul
- 36:17Speaker 1: jazzyb and yeah, we were talking about it. Affair, Yeah,
- 36:20Speaker 1: off Air, what a what a great group and what
- 36:23Speaker 1: great music they had and Carlo you you even said
- 36:26Speaker 1: you were in college when that song came out. So yeah, Steve,
- 36:30Speaker 1: you're a music lover. June is black music mom. Uh,
- 36:34Speaker 1: can we talk about music like for when you were
- 36:37Speaker 1: in college or back in your early early twenties? What
- 36:40Speaker 1: what kind of music did you love? How did it
- 36:42Speaker 1: make you feel? Where were you? And B? I've always
- 36:52Speaker 1: like contemporary jazz. But R and B one are the
- 36:56Speaker 1: questions on Family Feud yesterday, Yeah, and I little it
- 37:02Speaker 1: was named the top five all time best female singers.
- 37:10Speaker 1: But almost lost my mind. You were so excited about
- 37:13Speaker 1: this question. Huh. Yeah, the number one answer was Whitney Houston. Yeah,
- 37:21Speaker 1: number one. Now the first lady answered it. She said
- 37:24Speaker 1: Aretha Franklin. She was number two. And then the second
- 37:27Speaker 1: person came back and said Whitney Houston and she was
- 37:30Speaker 1: number one. After that, I was so hurt. Listen, wait
- 37:37Speaker 1: what I was so hurt on this list? Let me
- 37:40Speaker 1: tell you say didn't make it? They said Beyonce didn't
- 37:44Speaker 1: make it. And I was a little bit stunned. Beyonce
- 37:49Speaker 1: didn't make it the top five best female singers. No,
- 37:53Speaker 1: because in my estimation, Beyonce is the greatest living female
- 37:58Speaker 1: artist all around. Yeah, all around. Yeah, I've seen them
- 38:02Speaker 1: all around. Now, Whitney's the best voice. But we could
- 38:06Speaker 1: finally have a great point when I look at voices though,
- 38:12Speaker 1: But here they had Barber streisand she could say to me, though, yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 1: I love yes. Celine Dion made the list, Yes, she did.
- 38:22Speaker 1: The last one on the was Dolly Park and she
- 38:28Speaker 1: wrote I will always love you. She didn't four Wing,
- 38:31Speaker 1: not four Whitney. All right, coming up in thirty four
- 38:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna talk about that Delta
- 38:39Speaker 1: flight where the off duty flight attendant caused a stir
- 38:44Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show, all right, So did
- 38:50Speaker 1: you guys hear about this story? Um? And off duty
- 38:54Speaker 1: Delta flight attendant disrupted a flight. They were going from
- 38:57Speaker 1: LA to Atlanta. This happened Friday night. Steve uh the
- 39:01Speaker 1: off duty flight attendant had to be restrained by crew
- 39:05Speaker 1: and passengers as the pilot was forced to divert to
- 39:09Speaker 1: Oklahoma City, where the man was taken into custody. So
- 39:14Speaker 1: he just got unruly, this off duty flight attendant. He
- 39:16Speaker 1: assaulted two crew members. I mean, it was just kind
- 39:20Speaker 1: of a mess. You know, It's like, what are you doing, sir?
- 39:23Speaker 1: And then the pilot asked he got a got on
- 39:29Speaker 1: the PA system and asked if there were any passengers
- 39:31Speaker 1: on board who could come and help them subdue this passenger.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Now right there, that's my moment. What do you mean?
- 39:38Speaker 1: What do you mean? That's your moment? See, because I've
- 39:41Speaker 1: been willing to whoop somebody ask on a plane since
- 39:46Speaker 1: I started flying in eighty five that I've known you
- 39:51Speaker 1: a while about you know what I meant. Times I've
- 39:55Speaker 1: looked over across the al back behind me, us cross
- 40:00Speaker 1: from me and wanted to just whoop somebody. Do we
- 40:04Speaker 1: have any able body men in here who could come up? Oh,
- 40:08Speaker 1: heisty you on the way. No, he won't even finish this.
- 40:13Speaker 1: And do you have any able body men who could
- 40:15Speaker 1: come up to the front and help up? Sir? Yeah,

- 44:44Speaker 1: Who's speaking? This is doctor Albert Listen. I was giving
- 44:47Speaker 1: a call. Are you able to leave a message for
- 44:49Speaker 1: it for me? Yeah? Yeah? Okay? Would you let her
- 44:51Speaker 1: know her sessions will be on Wednesdays at seventh third sessions.
- 44:55Speaker 1: What session you're talking about? Session? Well, actually she signed
- 44:58Speaker 1: up for class. Uh, an eight week class and it's
- 45:01Speaker 1: every Wednesday night at seven thirty. Okay, what classes are
- 45:05Speaker 1: you talking about? What kind of class? This is? Love
- 45:07Speaker 1: et cetera? Have you heard of us? No? Okay, well
- 45:11Speaker 1: let me kind of give you a little briefing here.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Kaylin actually came in and filled out to take some classes,
- 45:16Speaker 1: and um, we love et cetera. So we teach different things. Uh,
- 45:20Speaker 1: what is it like a seminar or something? Well, you
- 45:23Speaker 1: we teach four play intimacy, sensual massages and things like that.
- 45:28Speaker 1: And she I was actually here when she came and
- 45:30Speaker 1: filled out the paperwork. She said she wanted to screwce
- 45:33Speaker 1: up her love life with her husband. Are you her husband? Yeah? Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm I'm a husband. But what I'm saying is is
- 45:39Speaker 1: it's like a like a joint thing. Am I supposed
- 45:41Speaker 1: to be there or something? No? No, no, no, no,
- 45:43Speaker 1: this is actually her wanting to Actually I'm if you
- 45:47Speaker 1: don't know about it, I'm assuming she wants to surprise
- 45:49Speaker 1: you and show you some different things. When when she
- 45:51Speaker 1: finishes her sessions? So when did uh? When when did
- 45:55Speaker 1: she come in? Like she came in? Where are y'all located?
- 45:58Speaker 1: First of all? Okay, well she actually came mean a
- 46:00Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago, and she filled out the paperwork.
- 46:02Speaker 1: We're in the downtown area. She filled it out. She
- 46:05Speaker 1: said she was very excited. She wanted to do some
- 46:07Speaker 1: different things for her husband. We just asked if she
- 46:09Speaker 1: gets here a little earlier, probably fifteen minutes earlier, so
- 46:12Speaker 1: she can shower and put a robe on, and then
- 46:14Speaker 1: we can we can start class. Who who whoa whoa
- 46:17Speaker 1: whoa shower? Shower and rose? What's that? What's that for?
- 46:21Speaker 1: I mean, you're not you're not upset about this all
- 46:23Speaker 1: right now? I mean I don't gonna follow with you
- 46:25Speaker 1: know us, We mean we know. I mean we married couple,
- 46:27Speaker 1: you know what I mean, So you know, anything the
- 46:28Speaker 1: spice spice up the marriage. But you know, as far
- 46:31Speaker 1: as me not being involved in her going out to
- 46:33Speaker 1: barself and you're talking about taking the bath and robe
- 46:36Speaker 1: and all the other stuff. Man, she don't need to
- 46:38Speaker 1: be there for no, for no meth like that. Man. Well, no, no, sir,
- 46:41Speaker 1: it's nothing like that. I mean, it's it's it's basically
- 46:43Speaker 1: a class what people get in touch with her with
- 46:46Speaker 1: their sensitive side and you get to actually, you know,
- 46:48Speaker 1: you learn about for a play, what takes you're talking
- 46:51Speaker 1: about eight weeks? Though eight weeks, sir, you must, you
- 46:56Speaker 1: must even how y'all even eight weeks? It's on one
- 47:00Speaker 1: night a week. It's only on Wednesday, so really only
- 47:02Speaker 1: have eight sessions eight sessions exactly. Okay, So why why
- 47:06Speaker 1: did she have to have a role though, I mean,
- 47:08Speaker 1: why she not? Why she just not showing up at
- 47:10Speaker 1: the work or whatever. Well, you have to bring your rope, sir.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Everyone showers and then they put their robe on and
- 47:15Speaker 1: we we actually coached them through. Here's how fourth play goes.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Here's the intimacy, here's sensual massaging. No, no, no, no
- 47:22Speaker 1: fan you get you getting it twisted. What I'm asking
- 47:25Speaker 1: you is you you You're really not explaining yourself enough,
- 47:28Speaker 1: Like what do y'all do? Like classroom said? If I'm
- 47:32Speaker 1: in the class, I'm taking a class. There's nobody touching me.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Ain't no, ain't no cold coming off, a nobody taking,
- 47:38Speaker 1: no group showers, caring on what you got? What you
- 47:41Speaker 1: sound like? Having nothing, nothing like that at all. But
- 47:45Speaker 1: we do come in contact with our sensual side. Now
- 47:49Speaker 1: we'll have a partner in class. She'll deal with that
- 47:52Speaker 1: one partner. It's not until the fourth session that we
- 47:55Speaker 1: really get into some strong physical contacts. Man, what are
- 47:58Speaker 1: you talking about? Are you talking about? You're talking about
- 48:01Speaker 1: a partner like you're talking about another woman, like some
- 48:03Speaker 1: of my teammate or something. What you're talking about you
- 48:05Speaker 1: had another dude? Everyone has the opposite sex partner. Man,
- 48:08Speaker 1: you gotta be out your mind. Surch even you called,
- 48:11Speaker 1: why are you even? Why are you even calling me
- 48:13Speaker 1: with this right here? And if you have to understand,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I'm I wasn't calling you. I was trying to reach
- 48:18Speaker 1: miss Kaylin. I don't care who are you trying to reach? Man?
- 48:20Speaker 1: You call it my house talking about my wife or
- 48:24Speaker 1: some girl that some partners and they don't get physical
- 48:26Speaker 1: because the fourth session of Karenin will be no physical
- 48:28Speaker 1: at all. Sirt. Basically, your wife is trying to surprise
- 48:31Speaker 1: you with a good thing. No, no, no, no, no,
- 48:33Speaker 1: hold on you just hold on, gonna get this straighten
- 48:35Speaker 1: down real quick. Hold on, wait wait wait, wait, what
- 48:37Speaker 1: are you what are you doing? I'm gonna call my wife,
- 48:39Speaker 1: That's what I'm at. What you don't understand she's trying.
- 48:41Speaker 1: It's not good for you to call. She wants to
- 48:43Speaker 1: surprise you my wife. You let me handle my wife
- 48:46Speaker 1: the way I want to handle it. You hold on,
- 48:47Speaker 1: hold on this route. You called me back when you
- 48:51Speaker 1: get this message, called me back at the house as
- 48:53Speaker 1: soon as you get to sir. No, yeah, sirch she
- 48:57Speaker 1: wants to surprise you know. Well we got to eyes already,
- 49:00Speaker 1: y'all right, the first of all, she ain't gonna be
- 49:02Speaker 1: coming down to y'all little sessions. And where do y'all say,
- 49:05Speaker 1: y'all do located that? Again? Well, Love et cetera is
- 49:08Speaker 1: in the downtown area. How much this thing's supposed to
- 49:10Speaker 1: cost anyway? Well, like I said, she signed up for
- 49:13Speaker 1: eight sessions. It's it's uh one session per week, it's
- 49:16Speaker 1: one hundred dollars ese sessions. She's already played the eight
- 49:18Speaker 1: hundred dollars, sir. She what she's paid him full to
- 49:22Speaker 1: do all eight sessions. Man, I know, but she ain't
- 49:24Speaker 1: paid no eight hundred dollars to y'all. She's starting this
- 49:27Speaker 1: coming when she won't be there. I'm gonna tell you
- 49:29Speaker 1: that right now. And I and if you, if you
- 49:31Speaker 1: got any of that money, you got any of my
- 49:32Speaker 1: money down there, you better be coming back with it.
- 49:35Speaker 1: I'm I'm sorry downtown, y'all Downtown. I work downtown. So
- 49:39Speaker 1: guess what I don't will be there tomorrow to get
- 49:41Speaker 1: my money? You love, et cetera is non refundable when
- 49:44Speaker 1: people sign up for these classes. You can't change your
- 49:46Speaker 1: mind like that. Look, man, that's capawork. Don't don't tell
- 49:49Speaker 1: me about what's not refundable. What's refundable was not refundable.
- 49:53Speaker 1: If I show up, I'm having my money back right
- 49:56Speaker 1: in my am. Would it make it? Would you feel
- 49:58Speaker 1: a little bit more comfortable if I was her part?
- 50:00Speaker 1: They're doing the sessions? Are you married, sir? Yes, I am?
- 50:02Speaker 1: You are? Okay? So let me have a session with
- 50:04Speaker 1: your wife about I do a year with your wife?
- 50:06Speaker 1: My wife, My wife works with other men in the sessions.
- 50:09Speaker 1: That that's fine. So I'm gonna knock your wife down
- 50:12Speaker 1: for about a good you know, year or whatever, and
- 50:14Speaker 1: then we're gonna see how you like about sir, sir,
- 50:16Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go back and forth. We didn't go
- 50:18Speaker 1: at the fourth. I'm gonna come down there. I don't
- 50:20Speaker 1: get my mom back, and I'm gonna go out forward.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I'm with my business. And then don't call this I
- 50:24Speaker 1: was no more. Don't word about wife. Take a name
- 50:26Speaker 1: off the little Leger or whatever. Ain't gonna being no
- 50:28Speaker 1: classes player. We're none refundable. I keep telling you that. Man,
- 50:33Speaker 1: who do you think? You're waighing your voice here? So
- 50:35Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. I keep telling you we're no,
- 50:38Speaker 1: I'm refundable. Don't tell me it's not refundable. He goes,
- 50:40Speaker 1: ain'ty sessions yet? No, she has none? You ain't using
- 50:43Speaker 1: every year? Right, I'm being used the service there. Right,
- 50:45Speaker 1: But we've already partnered her up. We already have a
- 50:47Speaker 1: partner for her. Can't about that partner? That's the partner.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Use your wife how about that, Hey, sir quip, bringing
- 50:52Speaker 1: my wife into bringing my wife into what I'm gonna
- 50:55Speaker 1: bring your wife into what? Maybe the problem is you,
- 50:57Speaker 1: Maybe you're not doing what you need to be doing
- 50:59Speaker 1: at all. Then do tumking toon. I'm coming down in
- 51:03Speaker 1: tomorrow to come get money. You better have my money.
- 51:06Speaker 1: It's gonna be your please. What am I supposed to tell?
- 51:09Speaker 1: I don't part of the he gonna get kick too.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Do you know who her partner is? Part I'm the
- 51:17Speaker 1: only partner she got. We partnered her up with nephew
- 51:20Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Man, y'all, y'all,
- 51:28Speaker 1: y'all play some man. That's funny man, Tommy, Tommy? Is
- 51:33Speaker 1: this time? Is this? Timmy doesn't have your time to
- 51:35Speaker 1: time me? Look somebody you up? Man, y'all play y'all
- 51:39Speaker 1: playing it timely? Too much? Man? We got that's that's wrong. Man,
- 51:47Speaker 1: I gotta ask you. Come on, Drew, talk to me.
- 51:49Speaker 1: What's the baddest radio show in the lane? Man? Steve Harvey?
- 51:52Speaker 1: Burn it so bad? What Drew said? It ain't too much? Man,
- 52:01Speaker 1: somebody gonna miss you uptime. We've been telling him that.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude not playing by his wife. Man,
- 52:14Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars. Man, we're about gonna come get my money.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I work downtown, so I'll be around now. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 52:26Speaker 1: he tried. It's so hard to understand that food ship.
- 52:30Speaker 1: So if it's a class they're supposed to learning, ain't
- 52:32Speaker 1: nobody touching me? But Junior, you're not married, but you
- 52:38Speaker 1: could feel him right? Oh? Still what he was saying,
- 52:41Speaker 1: it's a class, ain't nobody touching me? What's all the learning?
- 52:45Speaker 1: You mean the teammate? Wow? Funny, Yeah, that's really crazy.
- 52:54Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Junior. Coming up next Strawberry Letters

- 53:21Speaker 1: we could be reading your Strawberry letter. M just like
- 53:25Speaker 1: this one right here, right now? All right, lady the gentleman,
- 53:28Speaker 1: is time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend
- 53:31Speaker 1: Shirley strawberry. Thank you, Junior, my good friend. Subject. What's
- 53:36Speaker 1: more does he want from me? Dear Stephen Shirley. I've
- 53:39Speaker 1: been with my fiance for three years and we've been
- 53:42Speaker 1: engaged for almost a year. We've had sex almost every
- 53:46Speaker 1: night since we met. Since he proposed, He's been wearing
- 53:50Speaker 1: me out physically. He has raised the bar so high
- 53:53Speaker 1: in the bedroom that I can't keep up. He's doing
- 53:56Speaker 1: all kinds of positions and tricks on men lee and
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'm exhausted. He knows I worked two jobs and we
- 54:04Speaker 1: have a small child to take care of. I am
- 54:06Speaker 1: trying to help him pay for our dream wedding and
- 54:10Speaker 1: then we could be as nasty as he wants to be.
- 54:12Speaker 1: And I've told him that he has read about Karmasutra
- 54:16Speaker 1: and the art of sensual touch, and he calls himself
- 54:19Speaker 1: a sexpert, which is a sex expert. The final straw
- 54:23Speaker 1: was on the other night when I was asleep and
- 54:25Speaker 1: he started rubbing hot oil all over my back and
- 54:29Speaker 1: it burned like hell. I was startled and I swung
- 54:32Speaker 1: my arm around, hitting him in the eye by a mistake.
- 54:37Speaker 1: He went and slept on the couch. The next morning,
- 54:39Speaker 1: I try to fix things by cuddling with him on
- 54:42Speaker 1: the couch, and that ended up in us having sex
- 54:44Speaker 1: on the couch and then in the kitchen and finally
- 54:47Speaker 1: in our bed. He literally walked me all around our
- 54:51Speaker 1: house while we had sex. And this has gotten to stop.
- 54:54Speaker 1: It has gotten to the point where I am faking
- 54:57Speaker 1: it so he'll stop. And that's how I want my
- 55:00Speaker 1: That's not how I want my marriage to be. Then
- 55:03Speaker 1: he told his daddy, of all people, that I can't
- 55:07Speaker 1: keep up with him anymore in the bedroom, and his
- 55:10Speaker 1: daddy called me to say, if I can't please my man,
- 55:13Speaker 1: then someone else will. I'm not supposed to do that.
- 55:19Speaker 1: I'm not supposed to. Oh, I'm not opposed to Yeah,
- 55:22Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. I'm not opposed to that at this
- 55:24Speaker 1: point because I'm tired of having sex. We are both
- 55:29Speaker 1: in our late twenties, so maybe he's still immature and
- 55:33Speaker 1: I'm just seeing it. Should I rethink my wedding plans
- 55:35Speaker 1: if he doesn't stop acting out like this? The question
- 55:41Speaker 1: is to me, how have you spent a whole three
- 55:43Speaker 1: years with this guy? Not because of the sex, because
- 55:46Speaker 1: that's what twenty somethings do, But he sounds like, you know,
- 55:50Speaker 1: a very selfish daddy's boy to me, you said, you
- 55:53Speaker 1: have a baby and you're working two jobs to help
- 55:57Speaker 1: him pay for the wedding. Where's the love? Where the appreciation,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and where's a consideration from him that you might be
- 56:04Speaker 1: tired some of these days? Okay, you're not a machine.
- 56:08Speaker 1: You have every right to be tired and worn out.
- 56:10Speaker 1: And the hot burning oil that could have, you know,
- 56:14Speaker 1: virtue or something pretty badly. You haven't mentioned anything about
- 56:19Speaker 1: him having a job or anything like that. What does
- 56:22Speaker 1: he do besides have sex with you every single night
- 56:24Speaker 1: for three years? And then what is he calling his
- 56:29Speaker 1: dad to tell on you for that? Right there? And
- 56:32Speaker 1: Pops has no right to tell you to call you
- 56:35Speaker 1: and tell you that someone else can please his son
- 56:38Speaker 1: as you can't. If you can't, that's not his business, daddy,
- 56:41Speaker 1: that's not your business. Well, you say you don't want
- 56:44Speaker 1: your marriage to be like this, but it will because
- 56:47Speaker 1: this is who your fiance is. Get used to this.
- 56:50Speaker 1: You've been doing this for three years. What makes you
- 56:52Speaker 1: think he's going to change when you get married. It's
- 56:55Speaker 1: only fun if both of you enjoy it. And you're
- 56:59Speaker 1: not enjoying it, you're no longer enjoying it. You're too tired.
- 57:02Speaker 1: You have every right to question your future with him,
- 57:04Speaker 1: because he doesn't care about what you want. He just
- 57:07Speaker 1: wants his needs fulfilled. The first thing I would do
- 57:12Speaker 1: is quit my second job. Then maybe you know you
- 57:14Speaker 1: won't be so tired, and you know, then you guys
- 57:18Speaker 1: can do it as often as you want or as
- 57:20Speaker 1: he wont, Steve, This is not my solution for her
- 57:26Speaker 1: to quit her second job. Yeah, so she won't be
- 57:30Speaker 1: as tired. What let me just start at the bottom
- 57:34Speaker 1: of the letter. We're both in our late twenties, okay, said,
- 57:37Speaker 1: So that means everybody pretty highly active. I mean late twenties,
- 57:42Speaker 1: who it could be on and cracking. Oh but y'all
- 57:47Speaker 1: been together three years, and y'all been engaged for about
- 57:50Speaker 1: a year, and y'all have had sex almost every night
- 57:53Speaker 1: since we met. That's three years, almost every night now
- 58:00Speaker 1: since he proposed. He'd been wearing you out physical this
- 58:05Speaker 1: a year. He'd raise the boss so high in the
- 58:10Speaker 1: bedroom that you can't keep up. He doing all kinds
- 58:13Speaker 1: of positions and tricks, and I'm exhausted, and he knows
- 58:18Speaker 1: I got to work two jobs, and I have a
- 58:20Speaker 1: small child and we have a small child to take
- 58:22Speaker 1: care of. I'm trying to help him pay for our
- 58:26Speaker 1: dream wedding and then he can be as nasty as
- 58:30Speaker 1: he wants to. And I've told him that. Okay, now
- 58:33Speaker 1: let me tell you what all he heard was, you
- 58:38Speaker 1: can be as nasty as you want. That's all he heard. See,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you're dealing with the man with selective hearing, selective caring.
- 58:48Speaker 1: It's all about him. So when you said, you know,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I've told him. You know that after we pay for
- 58:57Speaker 1: our dream wedding and then he can be as nasty
- 58:59Speaker 1: as he want to. That's all he heard. Now. The
- 59:04Speaker 1: other problem you got is he had read this book
- 59:07Speaker 1: about Calmon Calma Sutra and the art of sensual touch.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Now he a damn sexpert. Well, he hadn't read the book, Shirley.
- 59:25Speaker 1: And in the book they didn't give instructions as the
- 59:27Speaker 1: high hot the ore pos to be. You and Hill
- 59:32Speaker 1: got got a couple lavel your ass, this double ass
- 59:37Speaker 1: the boy. All right, look he got a welding glove
- 59:41Speaker 1: on applying the oil. You ain't know that door, all right, Steve,
- 59:47Speaker 1: hang on, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 59:49Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject
- 59:52Speaker 1: for today's strawberry letter, what more does he want from me?
- 59:56Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: What more does he want from me? Is the subject?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Well this letter, let me get to it. Been dating
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: this board three years. They've been engaged one they've had
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: sex almost every night, and ever since they got engaged
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: a year ago, he'd been wearing how she tied. She
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: working two jobs because she's trying to pay for the
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: dream wed and help him pay for the dream wed.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: But they got a small child. Now, she told him,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: after we get the dream wed, and you could be
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: as nasty as you want to. That's all he heard,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: be as nasty as you want to. So now now
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he didn't read this book about Kama Sutra and he'd
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: ordered a sensual touch. Now he didn't. Somebody had told
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: him in his damn book that heat up some all.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Now he didn't got a hot plate, plug get up
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: in the bathroom, out of sauce, paying out the kitchen,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and had no tension. He didn't heated this damn all
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: up to this damn lava. He didn't actually, he didn't
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: actually turn this into a McDonald's apple pie bed. Yeah,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you're in the bed, you sleep. He started rubbing this
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: hot ass pie over your back and it burned like hell.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You swung your arm around, you hit him in the eye.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: So now he man, He goes sleep on the couch.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: So the next morning you try to fix things up,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you go down, you cut it with him on the couch.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Well that he ended up. Y'all had sex on the couch,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: then in the kitchen, roly in the bed whom he
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: walked your hands all around the house while we had sex.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: And this has got to stop, then, she says. And
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: it got to the point where I'm faking it, so
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: he'll stop. And that's how, not how I want my
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: marriage to be. Then he told his daddy, of all people,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I can't keep up with him any more in the bedroom,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and his daddy called me to say, I can't please
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: my man as somebody else will to hear the dangerous part.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I'm not opposed to that at this point because I'm
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: tired of having sex. Damn O, look look, little girl,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: it can't get like this now. They both of the
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: late twenty so maybe he's still immature and I'm just
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: seeing it. Yeah, Yeah, should I rethink my wedding plans
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: he doesn't stop acting out like this. You have to
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: be you have to and you have to tell him
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: this is too much. His daddy called you and told
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: you if you can't please your man, and somebody else will,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: and you tired as hell appeasing him to the point
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: where you're faking it. It's too much for you. Now.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: It's this marriage based on love? Or was this marriage
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: based on the active sex? Because right now I haven't
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: heard you say I love him. He's the sweetest woman's
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: kindest man. I haven't heard, and it is. He's a
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: tremendous father and you're working two jobs to help it
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: pay for the job. So I think you need to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: rethink these wedding plans and slowed us down a little
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: bit and get some type of little agreement worked out,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: because he just having his way. But the dangerous part
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: is if you don't do it his way. He seemed
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: like his dad and already thrown and he got to
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: go some raps to get it, and not even saying
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: in the letter that you don't really even oppose to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: that well, that's a dangerous thing to say, because why
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: would you get married to a man that you know
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: it's gonna be outside of marriage doing what he want
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to do. She's tired, she's not thinking clearly, st she's
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: too tired. Yes, she's working two jobs and they have
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: a small child. Quitting your job is not the answer
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to this, because you see, because if you quit one
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: of your jobs, so you're not as tired, and you're
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: gonna be at the house most for him to have
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: some most sex. The problem is he wanted when he wanted,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: how he wanted, and whenever he wants. That's your problem.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with you. You should have
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a say so in that. And that's putio, That's what
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: it is. And so if you don't have a say so,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and if you get married going into it with this
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: after you told him, after y'all have the dream where
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you can be as nasty as you want to be,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you don't think he's gonna pull that back up right
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: he getting married, See, it even picked up after he
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: got after he got engaged, it picked up. There are
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: a lot of people that thank you property. There are
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: some men who think women are their property. They don't
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: get it. Now. If this is what you all want
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: to do, then that's fine. But if it's just what
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: he want to do, then Houston, we have a problem.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Yes we did. But see if you remember this letter
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: we had not too long ago. It was about this
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: man who didn't work and he was all about sex,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: and you said, remember that letter, and you said, he
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: has time to think about those things because he's not working.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: And that's kind of what this is reminding me of
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: because she never mentioned if he was working. She only
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: mentioned that she was not, even that he's helping her
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: out with the kids. So maybe that's why he has
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: time to read Karma Sutra and all of that because
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: he doesn't have a job. Well, this letter, he doesn't
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: have anything about love. And he's a great guy and
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: he's a wonderful provider. It's none of this. It's about
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: one thing and one thing only, And I'm starting to
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: be concerned. And that's what the relationship is based on.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: That's all you have is great sex and it's just
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: great sexx for him because it's too too much of
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: anything ain't good for you. Drank too much day and water, right,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: but three years of that all right, listen post your
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: comments on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey FM on

- 1:06:34Speaker 1: last night against the seventy six is one h three
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: to one hundred. Uh. You know, Trey young Man is bawling.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: You have to watch this, dude, in these playof man.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: He had a career high eighteen assists last night, twenty
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: five and eighteen got him a victory. Man. Everybody's like, well,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: you know, they're not probably gonna beat seven six. I
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: don't know. They gave a run for their money right now.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Now the game the night though, and wait a minute,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: what's the count in the Hawks series? Oh? Two? One,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: two to two to two? Serious? Tis Oh my goodness, yes,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: oh my goodness, tid y'all can't right, atl We're not
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: letting it. They're not gonna They're not going easy. Oh no,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: you're not handing it to just the fill up because
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: they'd sent me six. Is now the game to night
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: up Milwalkee Bucks versus the Brooklyn Nets. They serious. Brooklyn
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: has a problem. They do. They have injury. They have
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to have at least two of the big three on
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: that floor. And right now, I'm not sure Hardnes is
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: ready to come back. Kyrie is out. Man, that was
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: a horrible injury. Yeah, he won't be horrible. He is
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: in a compression boot and on clutches in game pivotal
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: game five. Now he's not playing the night and they
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: started treatment around the clock. He's getting twenty four hours
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: treatment around on his own his foot, but you know,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: like ice bucket and stimulating it, you know, trying to
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: get it to get the most of the move. But
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: he now here's the problem. This is game ain't fine.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: If they lose tonight, then they have elimination game in
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: game six, and we don't know if he's gonna be
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: able to make it to that to force a game
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: set the injury that I saw, I don't see how
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: he can be ready. But he's young, and they got
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: some crazy stuff in the wombs many that can get
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: him out on the floor, but he won't be one
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: hundred percent. Not the injury. I saw he turned that ankle. Man,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: it was I couldn't even watch it. And I don't
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: want him to be injured. I don't want none of
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: these guys to be injured. Man. I want to see
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: him at day best. You do You know now? This
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: is how important Kyrie is to the Brooklyn Dets. Against Milwaukee.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: This boy's averaging twenty nine points a game. Now, you
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: gotta find a way to replace that. You just can't
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: replace Kyrie. No, Kyrie's superstar dog. Yeah he super did
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: y'all see the tweet. The one word that Lebron said
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: about Kyrie's injury with the up bamb that would fit.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: That would be appropriate, That would be appropriate if you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: go down like Kyrie there, and you know what he means.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: That's pretty So Harden gonna be a game time decision. Off.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: He said, He's gonna be a game time decision. We
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: don't know if he's gonna play a night, so we
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: just have to wait for the game tonight to see
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: if he's gonna play in that. But they need two
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: or three k D can't do it all by a
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: sil that's what we can't do. All right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, will one
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: night stands be a thing of the past? We'll talk
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: about it right after this. What you're listening to show
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: there's a question, will one night stands be a thing
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: of the past? Did you ever think you you to
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: hear that question in your life? Time? One night? Okay? Well, Junior,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: it's a new survey by dating app Plenty of Fish.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I don't know if you've heard of that, but it's
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Plenty of Fish. It's a dating app. It found close
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: to fifty percent of single Americans between the ages of
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: eighteen and forty haven't been physically intimate with someone since
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: the beginning of the pandemic. So that's what a year
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: and a half? Almost a year and a half? Yeah, um,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: why what if they've been doing instead? Is the question? Well?
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Virtual intimacy? Okay, this includes video chat, sexting, and phone sex.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: All right, and well huh yeah, I've tried all this
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: and you're in the what are you gonna do? By myself?
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I mean, I gotta do something, but you know what
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: the the video chat. You have to make sure you
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: buy outlets. Just want you to do that, Okay, yeah,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: because I've I've been talking real good and the phone dad,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: that was I got to do this. Yeah, you gotta
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: keep your phone charge of all right. So and while
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: forty two percent of the respondent are ready, they're ready
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: for some physical intimacy after the pandemic, they're exciting to
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: start excited to start dating again. Excuse me. Nearly the
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: majority of them planned to continue being virtually intimate as well.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: So they're gonna mix it up now, they're gonna be
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: virtually intimate and you know, they're gonna start dating again.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: And they're saying maybe that's because some of the participants
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: said the pandemic changed their idea. I love this of
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: what intimacy was, putting a higher value on things like
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: emotions and intelligence. So, which is a good thing. They're
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: just not jumping into bed. But you're older, Steed, you're
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: you know, you're a mature man. Yeah, and I can't
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: have men and virtual you need that one on one,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: no virtual, But this is for people between the ages
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: of eighteen and forty. Yeah, so this is good. You know,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: they're getting to know each other on on a more
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: intimate level, you know, And that's good. I mean that
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you give it vice Steve ninety day Rules and Women.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: So this is this is one is a step in
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: the right direction, getting to know something. Yeah, you know,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: you don't believe it. No, I just don't believe it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: You don't believe it. Normal, Yeah, but the pandemic changed
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: a lot of things though. This could just during the pandemic.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: But these people acting like it's open. It's a round. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: like the world is open again, right, yeah, it really is.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I don't see young people reverting back to the pandemic way.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: That's just not the young people that are produced today.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: It's a different time and culture. Well not according to
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: plenty of fish. Well, all I can tell you that
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: video chat, sex and falls that require power out. You
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: need to have that. That's what you're not getting that first, Shirley,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: I've done all of this and I'm taking me It
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: got good. I said, good, you know I'm going and
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: I'll be damn phone that Now. Now I got to
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: find a power out of bloodback up. But now she
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: had to move. Now, So Junior, you're kind of in
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: this age range. So are you put Are you because
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: of the video chats and pandemic and all that, are
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you putting higher value on emotions and intelligence? Hell no,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I'm going right back out here. I need I need
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: a date. I need to see touch. I'm not Yeah,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I'm not looking at you through the screen for the
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: rest of my life, the rest of your life. Now,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I want a date. I want them kissing, hook in,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: touch in person, not for this screen. I can't that.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: But but that's what they're saying. They're gonna date and
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: do that. No, once we start dating, you can put
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: this computer up. We're not doing that. No, No, you
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: don't call me come over. Don't call me come over.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: So then what's the first thing you're gonna do? Kiss? Okay,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: all right, ladies, you heard it. We'll have more of
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: today's trending stories coming up, and twenty minutes after, right
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: All right. So Alex Roderiguez must be saying right now
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: that when it comes to hanging out with X's Jennifer
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Lopez doesn't have the market cornered. Okay, He's like, so
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: that's what we're doing, that's what we're doing. He recently
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: posted photos of his ex wife and the mother of
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: his children, Cynthia Skurtis. They were married from two thousand
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: and two to two thousand and eight. They share two daughters,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: sixteen year old Natasha and thirteen year old Ella. A
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Rod and Cynthia recently participated in a fifty four day
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: fitness challenge, and Alex took to his i G stories
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: on Saturday to praise his ex and make jokes. He said,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Cynthia is a world class mommy to our girls. Wrapping
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: ice though, lol, He shared alongside footage of her helping
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: him ice his leg at the gym. So people are saying,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: because you see j Loo and Ben Affleck out and
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: about and they're posting, and you know the paparazzi is there,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: that's why a Rod is doing that? What you think, Stuke,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: if this is what's happening. Too old and too rich
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: to be doing that, Why would you do it? I
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: don't understand that, But you know, I think people are
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: so consumed with how they look in their image. Oh
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: she left me for being I can go back and
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: get my ex too. I don't even know why he's
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: posting that. That's why people are saying what they're saying,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: that he's only doing it because j Loo did it.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: But I mean, you know, to break up with them.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: You know, she was back over there with being you know, quickly.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Twenty minutes later, Yeah, all right, we'll more with Steve

- 1:16:43Speaker 1: code Radio. All right, guys, time now for ask the
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one is from
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Cherry in New Orleans. Cherry says, my coworker has flirted
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: with me for two years and now that I'm sayle,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I decided to go to dinner with him. I let
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: him pick me up only because I know him well.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: He got to my house and his car was filthy
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: and it smelled like feet. I told him how foul
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: it smelled, and he suggested we go in my car.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I canceled the date and him all last week he
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: called me a goody two shoes and I told him
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: if his car was nasty, his house is probably nasty too.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I didn't need to add insult to injury, but I did.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Should I apologize or not clo Well, you know, if
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: you feel like you should apologize, you shoot, what's it
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: gonna hurt you? But don't apologize at me and go
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: out with him, because chances are you're probably correct. Now.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: She's calling you goody two shoes. That's that's because you
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: like clean stuff. That makes you goody two shoes. That's
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: that's problem. You don't want to be in a steaky
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: car that smells like feet. That's trifle. And he said, well,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: let's go in your car. I mean, if a man
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: is picking you up for the first time, you expect
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: him to just be on his best behavior, put his
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: bat for trust me. If he won't clean his car
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: up and knowing he's going on a date, then what
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: else is he not willing to do? This is true,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: he'd been flirting with you. Just leave it at that,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: going about your business. You're absolutely correct, it's more behind it.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: First of all, he's not trying to impress you. That's
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: a problem. Let's take your car. That's a problem. You
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: goody too tooos because you like clean stuff. That's a problem. Listen, laties, listen, No,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I am all right. Moving on, Sebastian and Los Angeles, says,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I met a beautiful woman, and she's got a roommate
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: that's beautiful too. The other night, they had a small
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: dinner party and invited me. There were several people there,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: but I was the only guy they invited. I thought
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I was dating the lady I met first, but her
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: roommate was sitting in my lap and she even fixed
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: a plate for me. I'm an old school type of guy,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: So should I ask the lady I met first? If
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: weird day? I'm fifty four. He's so confused. I'm fifty
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: four and she's thirty. So I need your help. Yeah,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: you probably need to go in and ask just say,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: hold on, wait a minute, Hold, I'm confused. I come
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: over your house and then your roommate is sitting in
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: my lap and makes me a plate. Now I need
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: to know, is am I? Who am I dating? Here?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: All three of us don't. I don't say that. Start over,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: start over, keep that to yourself, but just say, hey, look,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: I want to ask you a question. I came here
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: thinking it was you, but then your roommate is sitting
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: in my lap and fixing me food. So I'm confused.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Am I to date your roommate? Am I to date you?
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I'm so confused. I don't understand. Coming up, it is
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and and at forty
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: nine minutes after, of course we'll have some closing remarks
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: You're listening to all right, guys, here we are our
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Tuesday. It's been
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: a fun day. Where's Tommy's out? Yeah? Caboing all week islanding, islanding. Yeah,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: you know something else? It's really interesting. I was listening
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to Joel ostein oh I think over the weekend, and
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: of course I can't remember verbating what he said, But
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: I got the gist of what he was saying, and
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I kind of gave us some thought over the past
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: couple of days, and the message kind of really really
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: resignating with me. And he was advising people not to
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: listen to the roar. Our, Oa are the roar. Don't
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: listen to the roar. And what he was referring to
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: was the roar was naysayers, haters, outside chatter. When you
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: are in agreement with God about your plan, when you're
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: in agreement with your creator about your future, what you're
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: gonna do, you've got to learn. And all of us
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: have to learn this, myself included, to block out and
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: ignore the roar, the things that people say about you,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: the naysayers, the haters, the family members, your so called
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: love ones, your friends, blogs, the IG page, the comments section,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: your coworkers. You have to ignore the roar. And so
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: he was equating it to the roar of a lion.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: You know, and I've been to Africa and I've heard
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: that I've heard lions in the wild, I mean really
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: really raw, and boyd, they's something else, man. That guttural
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: roar of a lion is to intimidate other lions and
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: other prey. I mean, not pray, but other cats. Hey,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: this is my territory. Don't come over here, And so
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: they row to signify. If you can hear me, I'm
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: telling you, this is my territory. Don't come over here. Now.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Most animals get intimidated by that, you know, especially animals
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: of prey. They head the other way when they hear that. Okay,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: we're getting too close to this, dude. But a lot
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: of times it's to keep keep other lions out of
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: their territory. Now, this raw is to intimidate you. The
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: lion uses it to intimidate, but the row is used
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: to intimidate you and to block you from your blessings
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: from God. So, now, if you're in agreement with God
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: and you're on your way to a certain destiny in
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: your life, and all of a sudden you hear this
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: roar from the haters, the blogs, the internet, the co workers,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: the rumor meal, the whatever you have, the family members
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: that don't believe, You've got to learn how to block
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: out the roar, because the roar is a trick by
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: the devil, and the devil has no new tricks. He's
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: been doing the same thing since the beginning of time.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Now he may have some technology attached to it right now,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: but the devil ain't got no new tricks. He the
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: same dude. He the same low down, no good, trying
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: to rob you of your destiny dude that he's always been,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: and he uses the roar to block you. So now
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: he was using the example of he was saying he
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: was on the safari once and he was talking to
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: one of the guides and they were talking about if
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you're ever out on a safar and a lion charges,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: they tell you not to break out and run because,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: first of all, the lion can run at fifty miles
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: an hour, so you can't do that, so he said,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: and if you break and run, you're just gonna die scared.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: But he say the best way to handle it is
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: to turn and make eye contact with the lion. Now
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: that's hard to do. I mean, we all know that
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: you got a lion charge and everything, and you says
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: turned and run. But the guide was saying, ninety percent
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: of all lion charges he stops because he just does
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: it to see what you're gonna do. Ninety percent of
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: all charges the lion stops short of attacking because he
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: just wants to see what you're gonna do. Now, there's
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: ten percent where you know you're a goner, but it's
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: ninety percent he stops. If you turn and run one,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: he keeps coming. So you have to muster up the
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: strength to stand and face the lion and the charging
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: attack with the roar, to turn around and face him.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: And that's how you have to deal with the roar
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: of people in your life. You have to turn around
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: and face him. See, look y'all, you got somewhere to
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: go in life, and God has a plan for you.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: But in order for you to get there, you're gonna
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: have to stay focused, and you have to get on track,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: and you're gonna have to learn, man, that you have
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: the ability to get there. You just got to stop
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: paying attention to the roar. You are equipped to be
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: on the battlefield. You are equipped to be in rough water.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: All of us are ships. There's a saying that says
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: ships are safe important, But ships ain't built to stay
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: in port. You were built to be out in the water.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Get your focus on God and going about your business
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: and get the life to God has for you. But everybody,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: you have to learn to ignore the roar real quick.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: A bully was at the school one day and he
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: made a list of everybody at the school that he
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: could whoop. And he showed this little bitty boys listing.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: He said, look at this list right here. Little boy said,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: let me see the list. He looked on any saw
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: his name. He said, hey man, you got my name
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: on the list. He said, yeah, I know. He said,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: you know you can't whip me. He said, you ain't
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: never jumped on me before. You ain't never whipped me.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: You've never jumped on me. You can't whip me. What
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: you got my name on the list? Fault? The bulley said,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: hold on, man, I'm sorry. I take it off. You
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: know what he did. He turned around and he faced
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: the row. He was just a lion charging. He took
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: his little took a little boy name off the list.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Little boys said, you ain't never whipped me before. Take
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: my name off your list. Sometimes that's just how you
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: have to be. Y'all have a great day. Ignore the roar,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: make him take your name off the list. Y'all have
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: a great date for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase
