- 2:15Speaker 1: good to me. Man, He's been so good to me. Wow.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You know why I say it like that. What makes
- 2:24Speaker 1: it amazing is because it's been in spite of myself.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I mean you know what I mean by that. I
- 2:31Speaker 1: mean I mean that he's been good to me in
- 2:35Speaker 1: spite of all the craziness I've done, all the foolishness
- 2:40Speaker 1: I've got myself involved with, and not only got but
- 2:43Speaker 1: knowingly got myself involved with all of the stupid decisions
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've made put all that to the side, and he's
- 2:55Speaker 1: still been good to me. Bring it all and put
- 2:58Speaker 1: it on the plate, and he's still been good to me. Man.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That's amazing, man. And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 3:03Speaker 1: people that can say the exact same thing. I mean,
- 3:06Speaker 1: come on, man, I got you, ain't famous, I got anybody,
- 3:10Speaker 1: got no microphone in your face, I got nobody, ain't
- 3:13Speaker 1: got no spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got
- 3:15Speaker 1: no came in your face, I got nobody problem and
- 3:17Speaker 1: your body blogging about you. But let me tell you so,
- 3:20Speaker 1: if you break it down and be real about it,
- 3:22Speaker 1: Oh you haven't done something outside the box. You haven't
- 3:26Speaker 1: done something ladies included. You've done something out the box.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You woke up and went what did I do that for? Oh?
- 3:33Speaker 1: We've all done it. So with all that said and done,
- 3:38Speaker 1: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:41Speaker 1: wants you the best for you, still considers you his child,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and it's and its willing is willing man to show
- 3:48Speaker 1: you your future. He is willing to show you your life.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He is willing to let you take a peek at
- 3:55Speaker 1: the blueprint. Man, that's an amazing God right there, because
- 4:00Speaker 1: I don't know. I know I couldn't do it. I
- 4:02Speaker 1: couldn't do it. I'm glad it's him, you know. Today Man,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I want to encourage brothers out there. And when I
- 4:08Speaker 1: say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's of the male species.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't care about your color. I really really don't.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I don't even have time for that in my day
- 4:16Speaker 1: a matter a matter of fact. Sometimes when you get
- 4:18Speaker 1: to discussing race, and I just get tired of it
- 4:20Speaker 1: sometimes and I just wish, you know, some some days
- 4:23Speaker 1: I just want to wake up, just do me. You know,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I I got what what what the skin tone is?
- 4:29Speaker 1: I got that. But I just want to wake up
- 4:31Speaker 1: some days and just going by my business and do me.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't want to have to deal with something. I
- 4:35Speaker 1: get tired of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make
- 4:37Speaker 1: them go away. But sometimes I get tired, so the
- 4:39Speaker 1: damn talking to brothers, all the brothers of the male species.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm talking about men today. Man, If if if you
- 4:47Speaker 1: ain't doing it all, if you're feeling empty, man, start
- 4:50Speaker 1: today completing your your process and your journey. And you
- 4:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying by that, if there's a part
- 4:57Speaker 1: of you're just missing as a man, and and and now, man,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to you so you know, some ladies listening,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but you know what I'm talking about. It's it's some
- 5:06Speaker 1: part of you that's missing as a man, if you
- 5:09Speaker 1: ain't really been in touch with your kids like you're
- 5:12Speaker 1: supposed to now, for whatever the reason is. And please no,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I do understand how sometimes women can use children as pawns.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It happens all the time. I've been through it. I've
- 5:26Speaker 1: been through it, man, I know what it feels like,
- 5:29Speaker 1: man to want to do something. But because you ain't
- 5:32Speaker 1: got this, or you ain't doing this, then I ain't
- 5:34Speaker 1: gonna let you have this. You gotta fight through, fellas,
- 5:37Speaker 1: you got to fight through. You got to fulfill your
- 5:42Speaker 1: end of the deal. And I got how difficult they're
- 5:46Speaker 1: making it. I got how man, it's gonna come with
- 5:48Speaker 1: some drama, but you gotta fight through it, because man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: we need fathers to be fathers. That's really what we need.
- 5:56Speaker 1: If you're a man out there and you are a
- 5:58Speaker 1: father of a child, we need you to do your job.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We I'm talking about our community, our situation, us as
- 6:07Speaker 1: a people, all of us we need you to be
- 6:11Speaker 1: a father period. Hey man, I ain't coming down on you.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I'm just your boy. I'm your man. And I've been
- 6:20Speaker 1: in the same predicament, in the same hole myself, where
- 6:23Speaker 1: I couldn't get to them, where they were used as pawns,
- 6:27Speaker 1: where they were told things about me that wasn't even true.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I've been through it. You can't see him, you don't
- 6:34Speaker 1: come on, okay, okay, I got all that. You ain't
- 6:36Speaker 1: sent this. You ain't okay, Hey, hey, got all that?
- 6:39Speaker 1: If if, if you can call them sometimes, tell them
- 6:43Speaker 1: you're thinking about them, Tell him you love them. If
- 6:47Speaker 1: you can get a letter to them, if you can
- 6:49Speaker 1: get a message to your children through one of your relatives,
- 6:53Speaker 1: start the process today. Be a father. It's your job now.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Because you ignoring him, are you acting like they ain't
- 7:02Speaker 1: over there? Or you to back him out of your
- 7:04Speaker 1: mind because the situation got too difficult. I got that,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I got that. But you got to step up and
- 7:11Speaker 1: be fatherless. You got to write a letter. You gotta
- 7:14Speaker 1: send the money. If she talking about If you don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: send all the money, you ain't gonna see him. Send
- 7:18Speaker 1: what you got. If she if taking it over, there's
- 7:20Speaker 1: too much drama. Send it through a relative, give it
- 7:23Speaker 1: to her mama, give it to her sister, ask her
- 7:25Speaker 1: to take it over there and do something for the baby.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Because okay, okay, you can't deal with the drama. I
- 7:30Speaker 1: got that, And I know it's much to pay when
- 7:33Speaker 1: you have to deal with that, because clearly I know
- 7:37Speaker 1: hell have no fury like a woman's going. Please know
- 7:40Speaker 1: I know that. Please no, And that's a real statement.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That ain't no saying, Steve got that's that's the truth.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But do what you gotta do. Sometimes you have to apologize.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Sometimes an apology goes a long way to your children.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Just hey, look, because I've made this apology you before.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I wasn't there for you.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I was out grinding and hustling, and I wasn't paying
- 8:08Speaker 1: attention to you, and I should have been. And I apologize. No.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I imagine, man, there's days where you was telling people
- 8:14Speaker 1: I was your father up at the school and they
- 8:16Speaker 1: wasn't believing you. I apologize for sending you through that.
- 8:20Speaker 1: But now, man, I'll tell you what. I made some mistakes,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and I got it together. I want me and you
- 8:26Speaker 1: to move forward as father and son. I want me
- 8:29Speaker 1: and you to move forward as father and daughter. I
- 8:32Speaker 1: want to be in your life. I ain't got a lot,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but guess what, I know a lot, because if you're
- 8:37Speaker 1: a man and you're a father, please know you know
- 8:39Speaker 1: something that child don't know. You have information, you have experience.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's all they need. Sometimes they have somebody to talk to.
- 8:47Speaker 1: That daughter yours just needs to know from her daddy,
- 8:51Speaker 1: how should a man treat me? Dad? What should I
- 8:55Speaker 1: look for in a man? See, they'll take that information
- 8:58Speaker 1: from you because they know it's coming from the right place.
- 9:01Speaker 1: And then you know that your son needs you because
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know how difficult it is if you're trying to
- 9:07Speaker 1: be a man without your daddy. You already know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: funky that is right there. So come on, man and
- 9:14Speaker 1: met your mistakes and move forward. Call your kids, write
- 9:17Speaker 1: a letter, get a phone number on them, send a text,
- 9:21Speaker 1: drop a message, send a note up to the school.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Do something, man, Get your thinking caps on, fellas, but
- 9:27Speaker 1: stand up and be fathers. Man, make the step to
- 9:32Speaker 1: be fathers. Do you know that if every man that
- 9:36Speaker 1: was a father would just stand up and be a
- 9:39Speaker 1: father's that would be no need for half the mentoring programs.
- 9:42Speaker 1: We're trying to start out here, but we have mintoring
- 9:45Speaker 1: programs because there's such a lack of fathers out there.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But guess what, it really ain't no lack of fathers
- 9:52Speaker 1: out there because y'all have made these babies and you
- 9:55Speaker 1: got these kids, and it was you and it's your seed.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So it's your job. It ain't my job. It ain't
- 10:03Speaker 1: my job to raise your kids. It's your job. Now, Fellas,
- 10:09Speaker 1: like I say, I ain't coming down on you, but
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you the truth. Now, why is it that
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm lying in this hill. You made a baby, that's
- 10:19Speaker 1: your baby, that's you'll see. They look just like you.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That's your job. If those of us that are fathers
- 10:28Speaker 1: would just be fathers, I could shut the mentory and
- 10:32Speaker 1: camp down. Now. I will say, I apologize because I
- 10:37Speaker 1: don't want you to think I'm coming down on you.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But I've been through this myself. I ain't really coming down.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I'm just reminding you this is our job. These are
- 10:45Speaker 1: our children, this is our responsibility. We all men. There
- 10:49Speaker 1: is no excuses. You you don't get you don't get
- 10:53Speaker 1: cut a brake on that one. Sorry, you're listening to
- 10:56Speaker 1: the ladies and gentlemen, have you attention please? Uh, this
- 11:03Speaker 1: is Steve Harvey. I'm trying to get your attention because
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's it didn't started. The morning show is on. Uh.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I ain't gonna tell you what station it is, because
- 11:14Speaker 1: you hear my voice. You own the station you need
- 11:16Speaker 1: to be on. Now. They had these things like station
- 11:19Speaker 1: I D and all like that. But if you listening
- 11:22Speaker 1: to me, you already on the station. I'm on too
- 11:25Speaker 1: minute to go around the room announcing, But all of
- 11:29Speaker 1: these great stations, and you're greater for listening. Marty Shirley,
- 11:35Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve, so calling morning Steve Crew, cutting up,
- 11:41Speaker 1: doing your morning, their food, big dog in the building,
- 11:48Speaker 1: your everybody in l A. Yeah, check and make sure
- 11:52Speaker 1: Junior has this coffee. I was just checking because Monica
- 11:55Speaker 1: was supposed to put the cream and sugar in their Steve.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I didn't know the relations with ship was that way though.
- 12:01Speaker 1: What they just got into a major argument about creating
- 12:04Speaker 1: I was I was listening. I didn't know that I'm talking.
- 12:07Speaker 1: They had more of a you know, coworker existed. This
- 12:10Speaker 1: sounds like something with like a relationship Tennis. Yeah, he
- 12:15Speaker 1: is your coffee exactly. He shut the room down with that.
- 12:20Speaker 1: We're working on it, working, but I'm not playing about
- 12:24Speaker 1: my coffee every morning, the same thing. But who are
- 12:28Speaker 1: you talking to like that? Though? She'd be over there
- 12:37Speaker 1: just grinny and you better take care of your man. Yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: she ain't got a problem come getting nail money and
- 12:44Speaker 1: they do. And you know how she is about her now,
- 12:48Speaker 1: you know, I've seen all these years i've known Monica Spica.
- 12:52Speaker 1: She never came in here to day without him doing
- 12:55Speaker 1: and she she alternates, she'll go to the salon and
- 12:58Speaker 1: she does them herself. She's good. She can do on herself.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I can't do, really, I can't get down. She's stay
- 13:04Speaker 1: in the line. Oh yeah, that's what I'm saying. She polished,
- 13:09Speaker 1: looks like I ain't. Don't draw outside the line. Yeah,
- 13:18Speaker 1: but it's something with those. I don't know what it is,
- 13:21Speaker 1: but it's something made cough. You gotta know you're good.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I'm good man, I'm here, what we're doing the show?
- 13:32Speaker 1: I did I put something in the microwave. I cooked.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Surely putting something in the microwave to heat. It is
- 13:40Speaker 1: not cooking. It's in the kitchen, thank you. It's here
- 13:44Speaker 1: in the studio. It's in a machine that heats stuff up.
- 13:47Speaker 1: As far as I'm concerned cooking, that ain't in my world.
- 13:50Speaker 1: That's cooking. Thank you us today the doctor, Oh yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 1: molested man. Do you know a hundred and fifty six
- 14:11Speaker 1: girls came to testify? Yes, sir, Yes, a hundred and
- 14:16Speaker 1: fifty girls came to testify against this doctor. We've been Nasa,
- 14:24Speaker 1: Dr Nasa, who was the gymnastics coach on the college
- 14:29Speaker 1: level and Olympic team. This dude, A hundred and fifty
- 14:34Speaker 1: six girls. Ridiculous. Alright, thirty two after we'll be back
- 14:39Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 14:42Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, So a hundred
- 14:45Speaker 1: and seventy five years Dr Dr Nassa got sentence. Yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 1: it's not enough. But why don't I just say life though? What?
- 14:55Speaker 1: What now? You know? Do you know anybody that lived
- 14:59Speaker 1: on hunderstand? But that's okay, let's move on. No, I mean,
- 15:06Speaker 1: I think what they're trying to do is send a message.
- 15:08Speaker 1: We're giving you as much as we can. We're gonna
- 15:11Speaker 1: be her understand that you can die and come back
- 15:13Speaker 1: and die again. Yea of the law. And then when
- 15:19Speaker 1: is the death penalty. When do you get that? What
- 15:22Speaker 1: certain states? Yeah, it depends on Yeah, where you are,
- 15:25Speaker 1: which I'm not sure. But can we get him to Texas?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Can we do? We'll do it down in Texas. You
- 15:32Speaker 1: get the death penalty without murdering somebody. I don't I
- 15:35Speaker 1: don't know if there's a death penalty father, if that
- 15:38Speaker 1: punishment fits that crime. Yeah, I don't know. Some treason
- 15:43Speaker 1: in spine cases called for death, I think, but I
- 15:46Speaker 1: don't really know. I don't know. We're not but he
- 15:49Speaker 1: again years and he had the case. He knows something
- 15:53Speaker 1: to keep himself healthy. Yeah, we want you to really stand.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We're not going you try. You tried it all. Hey,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something I told my sons in
- 16:11Speaker 1: Vegas at the fight, and it's really true. And it
- 16:14Speaker 1: took me a long time to learn this and it
- 16:16Speaker 1: can help. It can help everybody, but parents, if you
- 16:20Speaker 1: could teach this to your kids, because it really was helpful.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You know, he's leaving the fight and one of my
- 16:26Speaker 1: sons said, man, I'm gonna go have some fun, and
- 16:30Speaker 1: I said, man, be careful out there. You know, my
- 16:33Speaker 1: son is old enough to go where they want to go.
- 16:34Speaker 1: You know, but I said, hey, man, y'all be careful
- 16:37Speaker 1: out there, man, because oh damn man, we're cool. You
- 16:40Speaker 1: go down and dad, but we won't go have some fun.
- 16:44Speaker 1: So he said, Dad, what you're gonna do? I said,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna go over to this lounge that
- 16:48Speaker 1: they got private lounge upstairs. I think I'm just gonna
- 16:51Speaker 1: get me a cigar, man, and sit down and get
- 16:54Speaker 1: me a glass or something. Just chill and enjoy myself. Yeah. See, Dad,
- 16:59Speaker 1: that's different between me and you. We're gonna go have fun.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And it dawned on me, Yeah, that was just boring.
- 17:06Speaker 1: But I'm actually at that point in my life where
- 17:08Speaker 1: I tried to do stuff that I enjoyed doing. I'm
- 17:12Speaker 1: not in the fun seeking business anymore because I've learned something. Man,
- 17:18Speaker 1: when you go have fun, you have to go do something.
- 17:23Speaker 1: But you know what I told my sons, I said, man,
- 17:25Speaker 1: you'll be careful with that fun thing. And said, Dad,
- 17:28Speaker 1: why are you saying that? I said, because every time
- 17:32Speaker 1: I went somewhere or I did something to have some fun,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I stayed just a little bit too long. And every
- 17:41Speaker 1: place you go to where you stay a little bit
- 17:44Speaker 1: too long, fun is actually an accredhym for what it
- 17:54Speaker 1: stands for, blank up now? Oh, fun is an with
- 18:00Speaker 1: them that stands for ft up now. Because if you
- 18:04Speaker 1: wherever you go to have fun, if it's the club
- 18:07Speaker 1: or party or house party or backyard event, if you
- 18:10Speaker 1: stay too long, that's when you get fed up now.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Mm hmm. If you go out on the strip in
- 18:17Speaker 1: Vegas and you out there too many hours, you're at
- 18:20Speaker 1: that three o'clock run where they're circling in them cars
- 18:24Speaker 1: on the motorcycles, y'all having fun? Hold on about to
- 18:29Speaker 1: get flet up now? See go to a club, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 1: that's an hour at the club where you can have
- 18:36Speaker 1: a nice time and go home. But if you stayed
- 18:38Speaker 1: until that liquor fully set in and they cut that
- 18:41Speaker 1: light on and you're still in there, oh yeah, see
- 18:46Speaker 1: that fun right there? Get left up now? And that's
- 18:51Speaker 1: what fun really stands for. Well, you just took the
- 18:54Speaker 1: fun out of the other fun because if we stay
- 18:59Speaker 1: too long. But said to me, really, let me act
- 19:01Speaker 1: your grown self. If you stay too long at the
- 19:04Speaker 1: fun event, if you stay too long, it ain't gonna
- 19:08Speaker 1: be fun no more. There's a cutoff point to fun.
- 19:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to teach my son go to
- 19:15Speaker 1: the party. Man around twelve thirty quarter to one, start
- 19:19Speaker 1: making a move, just get on out, okay, start happening.
- 19:28Speaker 1: So now I thought that's when the fun started. Yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 1: so now what I'm talking to is a bunch of
- 19:39Speaker 1: irrational asses. I thought, you know, we like to have fun,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and yeah, what are you talking about? Steve is on
- 19:51Speaker 1: the fight? Fun is blanked up. Now what if you
- 19:55Speaker 1: stay too long? Okay, I don't let you know not okay,
- 20:00Speaker 1: sure is it fun if you stay in the club
- 20:02Speaker 1: at two in the morning and they started shooting? Uh no, no,
- 20:06Speaker 1: it's not fun. No, that's what he was talking about.
- 20:14Speaker 1: So we can't go get a drink, Steve, we can't
- 20:20Speaker 1: kick it, amuse me, Paul, until it closed, stay stay
- 20:24Speaker 1: out there, don't go out of your room, amusement order in.
- 20:29Speaker 1: It's just the roller coats are just shut down. And
- 20:31Speaker 1: when it closed, that's all. What are you getting all
- 20:34Speaker 1: dressed stuff for you? I'm not going to have no fun.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I'm going to be miserable. But you know the cool
- 20:44Speaker 1: thing about this, My sons have repeated this lesson back
- 20:46Speaker 1: to me several times with the show get it now.

- 29:06Speaker 1: That is the Facebook Bandit Facebook all like that. I
- 29:12Speaker 1: don't know why Facebook bander. I like Corny. It's a
- 29:19Speaker 1: little Facebook band of spirit, that's all. And June you
- 29:23Speaker 1: over that participant, you know what I mean? Want to
- 29:27Speaker 1: ask you? So the mentoring begins. How have I inspired you?
- 29:35Speaker 1: Speak on it? How much time we have you got
- 29:40Speaker 1: to be some sort of inspiration? Yes, he had Let
- 29:44Speaker 1: me share this with you. Come on, you've inspired me
- 29:48Speaker 1: Tommy in ways that I don't think that you could
- 29:50Speaker 1: possibly know. Speak on it. Speak on it, man. I
- 29:53Speaker 1: got my chest out right now, boy, come on, make
- 29:55Speaker 1: me proud, get it out. Okay, Come on. What I
- 29:58Speaker 1: hadn't done, man, I know I didn't. You're ignorance has
- 30:02Speaker 1: caused me to pursue some form of intelligence because of
- 30:09Speaker 1: your level of ignance. It has caused me to at
- 30:12Speaker 1: least try to have some form of intelligence in my
- 30:16Speaker 1: life because I've seen what can happen when you just
- 30:18Speaker 1: let uh ignorance permeate throughout your life. Talk to me,
- 30:24Speaker 1: Come on, man, let me know what stupid do. Come on, man.
- 30:26Speaker 1: The fact that you don't know when to shut up
- 30:32Speaker 1: wait a minute now has caused me to be quiet
- 30:35Speaker 1: more times and more often than I would have known me.
- 30:39Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:41Speaker 1: We're gonna let that marinate with resonate with you. Coming
- 30:45Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, and miss Anne
- 30:46Speaker 1: is going to be here with our national news and
- 30:48Speaker 1: the latest from the White House. You're listening to the
- 30:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Uh, this is getting really interesting now.
- 30:59Speaker 1: According to the Washington Post, special counsel Robert Muller wants
- 31:03Speaker 1: to interview President Donald Trump in the next few weeks
- 31:08Speaker 1: about why this is why, about why he decided to
- 31:11Speaker 1: fire National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey.
- 31:17Speaker 1: This suggests that Mueller wants to find out what led
- 31:21Speaker 1: up to Trump firing Comey and Flynn, and that investigators
- 31:24Speaker 1: are looking at possible plans by Trump and others through
- 31:27Speaker 1: derail Mueller's investigation. The news comes after it was revealed
- 31:31Speaker 1: that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was questioned for several hours
- 31:35Speaker 1: by Mueller's team, which is significant because he's the only
- 31:39Speaker 1: member of Trump's cabinet to be interviewed. But in the
- 31:43Speaker 1: investigation so far, first Sessions in the hot seat and
- 31:46Speaker 1: now possibly Mr Trump, who just so a little while
- 31:50Speaker 1: ago said you know, he would be happy to go
- 31:52Speaker 1: and sit with them and talk to Remember he said that,
- 31:56Speaker 1: as we know, Trump has already said there's no collusion. Uh,
- 31:59Speaker 1: he's gonna say there's no more fake news. This is
- 32:02Speaker 1: more fake news. I should say, that's what the President
- 32:05Speaker 1: will probably end up saying. But he said that he
- 32:08Speaker 1: would go and talk to Mueller. But now I think
- 32:10Speaker 1: he's backing away from that. Yeah, but it's not about collusion.
- 32:14Speaker 1: It's about the Russians meddling and the election. That's what
- 32:17Speaker 1: it's about. It's gonna be about a little bit more
- 32:21Speaker 1: than that when they dig it up, and that's what's happening.
- 32:24Speaker 1: They've got fleeing who is cooperate and he's not down
- 32:30Speaker 1: to one count, so that means Flynn has given him
- 32:34Speaker 1: some information. This is going to be it's it's going
- 32:38Speaker 1: to do something. If you don't think they're concerned at
- 32:40Speaker 1: the White House, you're sadly mistaken, because they have to be.
- 32:43Speaker 1: If you don't think they want to fire Robert Mueller
- 32:46Speaker 1: right now, you're sad is catastrophe. Yeah they want to
- 32:52Speaker 1: though you know they do, and and the FBI director everyone, Yeah,
- 33:00Speaker 1: and so now see what do you think also too
- 33:03Speaker 1: about Trump talking about no wall, no doctor deal. What
- 33:09Speaker 1: listen to me? You know what that's ridiculous. Now he's saying,
- 33:14Speaker 1: if there's no wall, no doctor m what does the
- 33:18Speaker 1: wall have to do with these kids who were bought here,
- 33:24Speaker 1: who are in school, who are to have jobs, who
- 33:27Speaker 1: are paying taxes, who are really valuable citizens of this country.
- 33:32Speaker 1: What does if you don't get your funding for the
- 33:35Speaker 1: wall you're gonna send all them kids back, but all
- 33:39Speaker 1: those people back. You said Mexico was going to pay
- 33:41Speaker 1: for the wall. Now you want us to pay for
- 33:43Speaker 1: the wall. But listen to me, that's just another lot
- 33:46Speaker 1: And but his bass hangs on to him like he's
- 33:49Speaker 1: just the most solid. You gotta get him a chance.
- 33:52Speaker 1: He said in Mexico is gonna pay for the wall.
- 33:55Speaker 1: And what Mexico said, we got paying for blanketed blank blank, Yeah,
- 34:02Speaker 1: he said he But if you it doesn't matter. Now
- 34:15Speaker 1: you're saying, if you don't fund the wall, there will
- 34:19Speaker 1: be no docta. How can you put that on the
- 34:21Speaker 1: table man. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Nothing.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Now they've spun it to make it sound like it does.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Because if we don't get these immigration laws our border
- 34:37Speaker 1: is secured, then they throw in make our military strong,
- 34:41Speaker 1: which we had the strongest military in the world. If
- 34:44Speaker 1: we don't get these borders secured and we don't get
- 34:46Speaker 1: rid of this lottery, and we don't get this immigration
- 34:50Speaker 1: chain linked thing together, then we're just going to repeat
- 34:54Speaker 1: this in years to come. No, you won't. You have
- 35:00Speaker 1: to give these people a chance who have come here
- 35:04Speaker 1: to stay here and finish out their life as credible
- 35:07Speaker 1: citizens and people. Yeah, it's that's horrible to say. You
- 35:11Speaker 1: don't give me the wall. Ain't no doctor, that's who?
- 35:14Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Let's introduce Missanne with today's headlines. All right,
- 35:18Speaker 1: ladies and general more intelligent view. I'm sure the lovely
- 35:21Speaker 1: miss and trip. I don't know about that. Good morning everyone.
- 35:24Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. But I do
- 35:26Speaker 1: have to tell you a few things. Former USA Gymnastics
- 35:29Speaker 1: and Michigan State University Dr Larry Nasser has been sentenced
- 35:32Speaker 1: to between forty and one hundred and seventy five years
- 35:35Speaker 1: in prison. That's right, national convictive sexually assaulting the young
- 35:38Speaker 1: women he was supposed to be treating for injuries more
- 35:41Speaker 1: than one fifty women and girls among them. Some Olympic
- 35:44Speaker 1: athletes told the court that they went to NASA to
- 35:46Speaker 1: be helled, but instead they were sexually abused, and Judge
- 35:49Speaker 1: Rosemarie Aquilina made it clear that she doesn't ever want
- 35:52Speaker 1: to see this guy in the street again. I just
- 35:54Speaker 1: find your warrant, that's what she said. If you didn't hear,
- 35:56Speaker 1: she said, I've just signed your death warrant. Larry Nassa
- 35:59Speaker 1: had already been sentenced to sixty years behind bars for
- 36:02Speaker 1: possessing child porn, and he faces another sentencing on abuse
- 36:05Speaker 1: charges in another Michigan county. President Trump is now in
- 36:09Speaker 1: Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. Earlier this week, the
- 36:12Speaker 1: President posts steep tariffs on certain imports, which raised alarms
- 36:16Speaker 1: amongst some of the other economic powers, but White House
- 36:18Speaker 1: spokesperson Sarah Sanders says that well in his scheduled speech,
- 36:21Speaker 1: whichiness for tomorrow, that Trump will deliver the good doesn't.
- 36:24Speaker 1: It is very much looking forward to delivering the message
- 36:27Speaker 1: to the world that America is open for business and
- 36:29Speaker 1: that there is no better time in history to invest
- 36:32Speaker 1: and create jobs here in the United States. Trump has
- 36:35Speaker 1: been critical, you know, of current trade packs like NAFTA,
- 36:38Speaker 1: warning that he intends to renegotiate them in the US's interest.
- 36:41Speaker 1: By the way, President Trump's first year on the job
- 36:44Speaker 1: approval rating is a whopping ten percentage points lower than
- 36:47Speaker 1: any of his predecessors. The pulses at Gallup say that
- 36:50Speaker 1: Trump's job before rating after his first year comes in
- 36:53Speaker 1: at thirty four thirty eight point four percent, compared to
- 36:55Speaker 1: ex President Obama's, which was fifty seven point two percent.
- 36:58Speaker 1: By the way. He also is the falls within to
- 37:01Speaker 1: the tin top worst presidential job poople ratings since the
- 37:03Speaker 1: polling company started Charting lost a lot of people this week,
- 37:07Speaker 1: including South African trump ter Hu Messakla and now actress
- 37:11Speaker 1: Olivia Cole, who won an Emmy for her role as
- 37:13Speaker 1: the wife of Ben Verin's character and Chicken George. Olivia
- 37:16Speaker 1: Cole died at her home in Mexico at age seventy five.
- 37:20Speaker 1: ABC reportedly ordering a renewed version of the nineteen seventy
- 37:24Speaker 1: four black female comma Get Christie Loves Theresa Grays play
- 37:30Speaker 1: the original CIA agent, where it is the new one
- 37:32Speaker 1: will be played by Canadian born in Minnesota raised Kylie
- 37:35Speaker 1: Bunbury of Under the Dome, You're under arrest, Sugar. That's
- 37:39Speaker 1: what she used to say. Eugene the Butterfly. Twenty minutes
- 37:41Speaker 1: after the hour, stay tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 39:30Speaker 1: Junior and I haven't discussed that nor time either, So
- 39:33Speaker 1: how much are you offering? Um? I was thinking like
- 39:37Speaker 1: four fifty four and fifty dollars? Oh say it again?
- 39:43Speaker 1: What did you just say? I'm I freening you and
- 39:46Speaker 1: Junior four and fifty dollars a piece? What are you
- 39:49Speaker 1: doing for Tommy? Take it? No? No, no, no, no, no,
- 39:53Speaker 1: no the hell I won't. Now, I'm gonna take my
- 39:57Speaker 1: full fift because I really want to be up there
- 39:58Speaker 1: to talk about this. What's the show about? I mean something? Well,
- 40:02Speaker 1: this is called um what if I called it? You
- 40:06Speaker 1: know what I called it? Butterfly Blues And basically, you
- 40:11Speaker 1: know it's drama comedy. You know, it's kind of like,
- 40:13Speaker 1: who did her stand out after the burger sponsor and
- 40:17Speaker 1: get him the sponsor? You what burger sponsor? In and
- 40:21Speaker 1: out that I'm trying to come back from this. Let's
- 40:32Speaker 1: I'm just gonna stick. It's Butterfly Blues and anyway, it's
- 40:36Speaker 1: the ups and downs of what I've gone through, you know,
- 40:38Speaker 1: And I'm still writing everything. Have you been writing this?
- 40:42Speaker 1: I've been writing a lot, But even like, Butterfly Blues
- 40:44Speaker 1: is gonna be a really really really good show to
- 40:46Speaker 1: come and see. All right, well, we're gonna support you
- 40:48Speaker 1: when you have it all? Has ever had the blues?
- 40:51Speaker 1: We gotta go that Caterpillar stages boy coming up after
- 40:56Speaker 1: the break at thirty or four after the hour. Couples
- 41:00Speaker 1: are still keeping financial secrets. Oh yes, you're listening to show.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Uh wow, Couples are still keeping financial secrets. While it's
- 41:12Speaker 1: always important to be open and honest in relationships, I mean,
- 41:16Speaker 1: you know, of course you should be financial secret. Don't
- 41:22Speaker 1: ask them? Are you keeping secret? I ain't no way
- 41:30Speaker 1: you buy all them shoes? And that's a couple of
- 41:33Speaker 1: bags that he doesn't know about him? Yeah, what's well?
- 41:37Speaker 1: I mean, because we own the radio, I don't tell
- 41:42Speaker 1: him everything but my shoes and what else? I said,
- 41:49Speaker 1: mainly about shoes. That a new clothes yesterday. Now you
- 41:52Speaker 1: didn't know what got you? Didn't You mean what I had?
- 41:58Speaker 1: Gray suit, grape and great boots on it? You just
- 42:01Speaker 1: got here, all right? It seems there are a lot
- 42:06Speaker 1: of people, uh keeping secrets from their significant others, especially
- 42:11Speaker 1: when it comes to money. A new poll from credit
- 42:14Speaker 1: cards dot Com finds it people in relationships say they
- 42:19Speaker 1: have a hidden bank account from a partner slash spouse.
- 42:22Speaker 1: In fact, is that true, Tommy, since you're over here
- 42:25Speaker 1: in my business, have a hidden you heard me? Hidden
- 42:29Speaker 1: bank accounts? Immediately? Okay? In fact, of those in relationships say,
- 42:38Speaker 1: keeping a credit card, checking your savings account hidden from
- 42:41Speaker 1: your mate is worse than physically cheating. Really, So, Steve,
- 42:44Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this. Yeah I don't, Yeah, I
- 42:51Speaker 1: think about cheating. All right, Steve? Are you honest? I
- 42:56Speaker 1: have to ask you this question. Are you honest with
- 42:58Speaker 1: your spouse? With Marjorie? What comes honest? But I got
- 43:00Speaker 1: some money somewhere when it comes to money. Yeah, when
- 43:03Speaker 1: it comes to money. Um, well, I mean I'm honest,
- 43:08Speaker 1: but I got some money somewhere. Okay, alright, she ain't
- 43:12Speaker 1: hurting for nothing. Anything she needs she gets. She got
- 43:15Speaker 1: her own money. But I got some money somewhere. So
- 43:19Speaker 1: so then let me ask you this. Do you think
- 43:21Speaker 1: keeping financial secrets is worse than cheating? Hell? No, it
- 43:26Speaker 1: ain't even in the same You can forgive somebody about
- 43:29Speaker 1: some money. Hello, Yeah, I don't think there's anything cheating.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Though it's hard to forgive, you can forgive money. Ye.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Hold on, let me explain something to you. I forgive
- 43:41Speaker 1: my wife weakly about money. My wife don't stay on
- 43:47Speaker 1: a budget. She got a budget, but I don't know
- 43:51Speaker 1: what happens to this beautifully intelligent woman that I'm married to.
- 43:55Speaker 1: She does not have the ability to add and subtract
- 43:58Speaker 1: when it comes to the let you, I bet my
- 44:01Speaker 1: wife wish up she hand your wife, but it probably
- 44:10Speaker 1: what Yeah, I was gonna say something real. I'm glad
- 44:15Speaker 1: you I called myself because you know it's just man's wife.
- 44:19Speaker 1: It was a joke, but that wasn't gonna go good.
- 44:22Speaker 1: When you sensor yourself, that means a lot. Yeah, because
- 44:26Speaker 1: I'm smart. When it comes to that, it means it
- 44:28Speaker 1: was going to be so okay. Yeah, I don't think
- 44:35Speaker 1: financial secrets are worse than cheating. No, no, no, it
- 44:39Speaker 1: can't be financial secrets from your spouse. It's not as
- 44:44Speaker 1: bad cheating. I don't think that's the same category. A
- 44:49Speaker 1: woman will forgive you for spending some money, you'll forgive
- 44:53Speaker 1: a woman for spending some money. We we do that
- 44:55Speaker 1: all the time. You know what many couples get in
- 44:58Speaker 1: arguments about money. You can subvive that what you're not
- 45:02Speaker 1: gonna survive if you didn't took that cook across town
- 45:06Speaker 1: and crumbling it up in somebody else's milk. That's not
- 45:14Speaker 1: gonna happy. That's not how to cook. Although I know
- 45:17Speaker 1: some real heated arguments over money though that almost take
- 45:21Speaker 1: you there like a government I mean seriously, real heated
- 45:25Speaker 1: arguments over for a long too. Though, isn't the article
- 45:32Speaker 1: saying too? It's one thing about spending money. What you're saying, Steve,
- 45:35Speaker 1: you're spending money and you don't tell your spouse. But
- 45:38Speaker 1: when you keeping you you have a whole another account
- 45:43Speaker 1: and you've kept money from that spouse. Well I got that.
- 45:47Speaker 1: You have your own money too, as well as money
- 45:50Speaker 1: with Yeah, absolutely all right, Uh, come now if you
- 45:55Speaker 1: tell me he has a praying phone call coming up
- 45:57Speaker 1: right after this. You don't like you're listening Dave Harvey
- 46:01Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 46:04Speaker 1: right about four minutes after today's strawberry letter. But up
- 46:08Speaker 1: next is the nephew right here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Drug test. H A lot of people can hit their
- 46:13Speaker 1: breaks in a lot of people drug test. Not today,
- 46:19Speaker 1: Not today. I need a prayer, Bear and jee because
- 46:24Speaker 1: you're gonna corporate it'd be random drug cast. Can you
- 46:27Speaker 1: come down here, please? Drug test phone call here? It
- 46:30Speaker 1: is Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a Faye please,
- 46:38Speaker 1: this is Hello. This is Officer Rodgers from the Probation Department. Yes, sir, listen.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Now you have been uh on probation for a little
- 46:49Speaker 1: over a year now, all right, faith correct Now you're
- 46:52Speaker 1: supposed to be serving two years probation. All right now,
- 46:57Speaker 1: I'm giving you a call actually bringing you a bit
- 47:01Speaker 1: of bad news. And I hate to do this, but
- 47:03Speaker 1: you you came in for a couple, um, a couple
- 47:07Speaker 1: of weeks ago and did a did a drug test?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Am I right? All right now? I don't I hate
- 47:13Speaker 1: to bring you some bad news, but the actual drug
- 47:15Speaker 1: test that you took has come back positive. That's a lot.
- 47:21Speaker 1: That's a lot. That's a Wait a minute, Wait a minute. Now,
- 47:24Speaker 1: you came in a couple of weeks ago. You took
- 47:26Speaker 1: a drug test. This drug test is actually come in positive.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Now what I want to say to use this, You're
- 47:32Speaker 1: gonna have to actually got hold on a second. I
- 47:38Speaker 1: either need you to come into me or I don't,
- 47:41Speaker 1: And I don't want to save the embarrassment of having
- 47:42Speaker 1: to send a car out to pick you up. Now,
- 47:45Speaker 1: embarrassment you're talking about. I gave you some, ma'am. Right now,
- 47:53Speaker 1: I got you have a positive drug test. You have
- 47:56Speaker 1: you you you come up positive. Man, Now you're gonna
- 47:59Speaker 1: have if they use you. If they use man, we
- 48:02Speaker 1: used the one that you brought us now must have
- 48:05Speaker 1: been the wrong one. Couldn't have been, sir. I'm sorry, sir,
- 48:09Speaker 1: but I wouldn't have gave you a bad year. And
- 48:11Speaker 1: it just wouldn't me. I don't want to happen back
- 48:13Speaker 1: to jail. I don't even know why you would call
- 48:15Speaker 1: me with this nonsense. I got children, I'm trying to do, right,
- 48:19Speaker 1: I don't know why you would call me. I wouldn't
- 48:20Speaker 1: have game, you know bad. That's not me you, suld fly.
- 48:25Speaker 1: You have to come in and do another three months now, Oh, sir,
- 48:29Speaker 1: you can come pick me up. I can tell you
- 48:31Speaker 1: right now. I can be in your hand if you
- 48:33Speaker 1: want me to. Ma'am. Your your urine has come back
- 48:36Speaker 1: positive of drugs. Now, I don't I don't know any
- 48:39Speaker 1: other way to explain it to you. You've been actually
- 48:42Speaker 1: evidently using drugs again. I'm trying to tell you I
- 48:47Speaker 1: don't use no drugs. I've been clean for a year
- 48:51Speaker 1: and some months. Now you got the wrong that's not
- 48:55Speaker 1: my How do you telling you that? How do you
- 48:59Speaker 1: know it's not yours? Ma'am? He's got your name on
- 49:02Speaker 1: the lid. Everything you have come back positive, whatever dinner
- 49:06Speaker 1: you put your name on it, because that ain't came back,
- 49:10Speaker 1: would have came back good. You can't fill me and
- 49:12Speaker 1: tell me I gave you some man and that that's
- 49:15Speaker 1: a negative, sir, that's a double negative. It's not a
- 49:18Speaker 1: double negative. It's a double positive. You've actually come back positive.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Say he has written here on the actual cup. No, No,
- 49:28Speaker 1: we don't have more than one faith. You're the only faith.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I've actually double checked that myself. You need to either
- 49:33Speaker 1: come in or we got to come out and all
- 49:35Speaker 1: you're behind in here, Well, I need you to come
- 49:37Speaker 1: right now cause I got the right now. Now, are
- 49:41Speaker 1: you trying to tell me that if I come and
- 49:43Speaker 1: pick you up and take your year and now your
- 49:45Speaker 1: YearIn is gonna come up negative? Is that what you're saying.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I'm telling you that you're double positive with that, my
- 49:51Speaker 1: urine is gonna come up negative. Man. I hate to
- 49:56Speaker 1: I don't want to come out all year in front
- 49:58Speaker 1: of your family, but you're actually gonna be coming in
- 50:01Speaker 1: and you're gonna do three months. That's all I can
- 50:02Speaker 1: tell you. You got confidence, sir, you got the wrong saying.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Hell know you got the wrong. It's one of the two.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Might be both. You got the wrong, you got the
- 50:11Speaker 1: wrong stake. I'm letting you positive. I'm no positive. I'm
- 50:16Speaker 1: trying to I got kids, man, I ain't had no positive. Listen, ma'am.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I'm telling you one more time. You either want to

- 50:26Speaker 1: What's one? Let me tell you what I want you
- 50:28Speaker 1: to do. I want you to find out who you

- 50:51Speaker 1: I'm I've been giving you and you stay. I want
- 50:54Speaker 1: to with me. I'm dad. I ain't getting a bed.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I'm probably no more like that. And else is my
- 51:00Speaker 1: probation off you say your name is, my name is
- 51:04Speaker 1: officer Rogers. I'm no officer Rogers. Like I said, you
- 51:08Speaker 1: might be the reason why it came back past. You
- 51:11Speaker 1: might be the reason I need to speak with Mr.
- 51:14Speaker 1: That's my probation officers. Now I have cleaned at all time. Mr.
- 51:21Speaker 1: You shouldn't be calling me. I should be calling you
- 51:24Speaker 1: because I'm gonna evidently I'm gonna have to come down
- 51:26Speaker 1: the hall. You're behind in myself. But you can bring
- 51:29Speaker 1: your so and when you call with here't let you
- 51:33Speaker 1: know I have no positive you can come to my job.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I got you got Let me know what. There's one
- 51:39Speaker 1: there's one more thing that I need to bring. Come
- 51:42Speaker 1: all right, now, come on, I got one more thing
- 51:45Speaker 1: I need to say to you. Are you listening to me?
- 51:48Speaker 1: What is it? Sir? This is nephew timing from the
- 51:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pragned by your sister, Alan.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I know one thing, You'll played too much. I'll play
- 52:01Speaker 1: too much. But I was coming to give Mr Roger
- 52:05Speaker 1: she gonna get out of me thinking I was doing
- 52:14Speaker 1: us and didn't know about it to pay people like this?
- 52:21Speaker 1: Okay for you? All right, Hey, I'm not I'm nervous here.
- 52:24Speaker 1: It's your sister. She putting me up to it. Baby.
- 52:27Speaker 1: When you ever see her, you see what she looked like.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat the hell out. I got one more
- 52:33Speaker 1: question for you, baby. You got to tell me this.
- 52:35Speaker 1: What is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 52:39Speaker 1: show in the land, The Steve Harmard Morning Shows. Pretty rough? Wow,
- 52:45Speaker 1: get tensed it? Yeah, I said up the prank for
- 52:55Speaker 1: to day. A matter of fact, go to Thomas Miles
- 52:56Speaker 1: dot com. It's time to get the pranking Thomas Miles
- 53:01Speaker 1: dot com. It's pretty catchy there. You know that's your name.
- 53:06Speaker 1: M I l e s pretty catch that dot com.
- 53:12Speaker 1: You want me to prank somebody, your pastor, your mama,
- 53:15Speaker 1: your daddy, your brother, your sister. Getting away from nephew
- 53:19Speaker 1: Tommy yeah, well, you know, I still like nephew Tommy.
- 53:23Speaker 1: You know, but you know I'm both though, I'm Thomas
- 53:26Speaker 1: Myles and a nephew times. Why don't you ask him that, Steve,
- 53:29Speaker 1: I still want to have both sides. No, no no, no, no, no,
- 53:32Speaker 1: I'm just asking because i'm you know, as we get
- 53:35Speaker 1: to the close to this memory, I'll have some basic information.
- 53:40Speaker 1: He ain't got the basic information. Yeah, yeah, we're not
- 53:48Speaker 1: nephew Tommy no more. If we're trying to slide more
- 53:50Speaker 1: towards Thomas Miles, then when he's telling me his aspiration's
- 53:54Speaker 1: goals and things, then I'll know it. You know, I
- 53:58Speaker 1: don't want you to lose nephew Tommy. But can I
- 54:02Speaker 1: tell you a couple of things I'm gonna need from
- 54:04Speaker 1: your Tommy? Go Ah, no, no, no, this is real simple,
- 54:09Speaker 1: and this is for anybody. If you sit down with
- 54:11Speaker 1: anybody and you want advice, financial advice from a mentor
- 54:15Speaker 1: or something like that, or career advice, a few things
- 54:19Speaker 1: you should be able to share right off the top,
- 54:22Speaker 1: your long range goals, what you're ultimately shooting for, your
- 54:26Speaker 1: mid range goals, your short term goes mid ranges two
- 54:30Speaker 1: to five years long range goals is what you want
- 54:34Speaker 1: over the course of your life, and then after that
- 54:37Speaker 1: you want short term goals, what you want to happen
- 54:40Speaker 1: within the next year. And of course there are some
- 54:42Speaker 1: immediate things that you're working on that you want to
- 54:44Speaker 1: have to come to fruition. You should be able to
- 54:46Speaker 1: answer those questions. Okay, that's a great start right there.
- 54:50Speaker 1: That's a great start. So when we come back, can
- 54:53Speaker 1: I ask you we got come back. Okay, but we
- 54:57Speaker 1: have a little bit of time. Take give me no homework.
- 55:01Speaker 1: And coming up at the top of the hour, Today's
- 55:05Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter, and then we're going to talk about the
- 55:09Speaker 1: big Oscar snub too. And Rikabadou is in the news.
- 55:13Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. See listening
- 55:19Speaker 1: to Tommy. Let's makes it even moges. Let's get to
- 55:25Speaker 1: the letter, nephew, because that's can we get to the letter? Hello?
- 55:30Speaker 1: Are you listening? Paintings? Okay, all right, here we go.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Buckle up, hold on tight, we got it you Here
- 55:36Speaker 1: it is Strawberry letter. Subject I have tried, but I'm
- 55:40Speaker 1: not being satisfied. Dear Steve and Mr Strawberry, I have
- 55:44Speaker 1: been dating my boyfriend for over a year, and I
- 55:48Speaker 1: love him so much. We hardly ever argue or fight
- 55:51Speaker 1: because we live an hour away from each other, so
- 55:54Speaker 1: when we are together, we make the best of our time.
- 55:57Speaker 1: We do everything together except one big thing. When we
- 56:01Speaker 1: do see each other, I always find a way to
- 56:05Speaker 1: avoid having sex with him. He is very handsome, but
- 56:09Speaker 1: when it comes to the bedroom, he just doesn't have it.
- 56:13Speaker 1: I hardly ever get in the mood with him. He
- 56:15Speaker 1: doesn't complain much, but I can tell he gets frustrated.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Sometimes I just lie there and fake moan and lie
- 56:23Speaker 1: about how good he is in bed. He said it
- 56:26Speaker 1: makes him feel good when I give him feedback. I
- 56:29Speaker 1: feel bad for saying this, but he is lacking in
- 56:33Speaker 1: the packing. I blame Steve because I waited for six months. Uh,
- 56:38Speaker 1: you're it's right there in bullprint. I blame Steve because
- 56:42Speaker 1: I waited for six months before we were intimate, just
- 56:45Speaker 1: to later find out that the sex is bad. I
- 56:49Speaker 1: often find myself thinking of a man from my past
- 56:52Speaker 1: while I'm intimate with my boyfriend. His friends have been
- 56:55Speaker 1: giving me hints that he is going to propose to
- 56:58Speaker 1: me soon, So I just want to know what can
- 57:01Speaker 1: I do to make our bedroom life better, so I
- 57:03Speaker 1: can marry this good man and live happily ever after?
- 57:07Speaker 1: Is this even possible? Please help? I don't want to
- 57:10Speaker 1: deal with this every night. Okay that you pretty much
- 57:17Speaker 1: answered your own letter. Your your own letter when you
- 57:20Speaker 1: said I don't want to deal with this every night? Uh,
- 57:23Speaker 1: happily ever after? I mean, yeah, that's possible in fairy tales,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and this is real life. This is not a fairy tale. Uh.
- 57:32Speaker 1: You know, I don't want you to marry this man
- 57:34Speaker 1: just out of obligation or just because he asked you.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You have to marry him because you love him, and
- 57:39Speaker 1: you guys think you can make a future together and
- 57:42Speaker 1: have a great life together, not because of some obligation
- 57:46Speaker 1: you feel toward him. You says he's very you say
- 57:49Speaker 1: he's very handsome, but when it comes to the bedroom,
- 57:51Speaker 1: he doesn't have it. You waited for six months. You
- 57:54Speaker 1: blame that on Steve, and Steve is gonna speak to that,
- 57:57Speaker 1: trust me. But you lie to him to make him
- 58:01Speaker 1: feel good. What about your feelings? Why can't you tell
- 58:04Speaker 1: him in a nice way how what you need in
- 58:08Speaker 1: this relationship? If you're going to marry him, Steve, we
- 58:11Speaker 1: kind of ran out of time, but you want to
- 58:12Speaker 1: say something in the thirty seconds we have left. She's
- 58:16Speaker 1: mad at you. Go ahead because she mentioned your name.
- 58:26Speaker 1: What you blame with Steve? Because you made her weight?
- 58:30Speaker 1: She says, you know anybody told you what to weight on?
- 58:38Speaker 1: You know I'll get to that in a second. I've tried,
- 58:43Speaker 1: but I'm not being satist. You know how many letters
- 58:47Speaker 1: we get from women who just upset because they dude
- 58:51Speaker 1: ain't packing, he ain't bringing it, he ain't slanging. He
- 58:57Speaker 1: don't make me feel like I want to feel. He
- 59:01Speaker 1: won't more. I don't won't more. You know how many
- 59:03Speaker 1: times we've had this letter. Huh chi? What? What? What
- 59:11Speaker 1: are you doing? What? See? I'll be paying attention to. No,
- 59:17Speaker 1: you ain't gonna drift off while I'm doing this. I'm
- 59:20Speaker 1: sorry I did you know, but you're gonna do it
- 59:23Speaker 1: like I'm the dude in the letter. You're just bored.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Not you just all trying to occupy your mind with
- 59:32Speaker 1: your You're all on Instagram. All right, I'm back, I'm back.
- 59:39Speaker 1: I'm focused, Steve, I'm focused. I've been dating for over
- 59:43Speaker 1: a year and you just love him so much. Down Ever,
- 59:46Speaker 1: all fight because they live all the way from each other.
- 59:50Speaker 1: So when we get together, they just make the best
- 59:52Speaker 1: of day time. We do everything together except one big thing.
- 59:56Speaker 1: When we do see each other, I always find a
- 59:59Speaker 1: way to avoid having sex with him. He's very handsome,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: but when it comes to the bedroom, he just don't
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: have it. Well, I think one of the reasons he
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: ain't having it it's because you keep avoiding him. The
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: man can't practice. You can't practice if you keep avoiding.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: That could be one thing, but let's read deeper, let's go.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I hardly ever get in the mood with him, that
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: cause he don't know nothing about folk play. See getting
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: in the mood is foulk play. See all this stuff
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: y'all doing, going shopping and all is here. Y'all need
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to be doing something that to work towards the culmination
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: of the evening, make your afternoons a little bit more special.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: He doesn't complain much, but I can tell he gets frustrated. Well,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: why is that? Because sometimes I just lay down and
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I fake moan and I lie about how good he
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: is in bed. He said it makes it feel good.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: We're not giving feedback. I feel bad for saying this,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: but he's lacking in the packet. Well, see you fake moaning?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: What do you mean? He said, he feels good when
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: he gets feedback. Stop lying to the man. Thank you's
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: got to tell him. See you are uh and you
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: think he's really doing something? Oh lord, change that to
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: this hill m So what sucking her teeth? Do that
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: one time? Like she's bored of her mind? Why he
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: doing it? Pat your nails, God, reach up on the
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: nice stay and get some water, checking emails, Text your
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: mama right now. Call your girlfriend. That's how you let
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: him know he doing. He's on the phone while he's
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: do Call your mom. You're gonna church this Sunday? Yeah,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: check your counter. Paint your nails? Why a he doing it? Oh? Man? Wow,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: that'll crush his ego. Hy he doing to take that
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: finished sheet and fit it back on one of the
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: corner because they always come on. She's up out of
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the bed now, you know, because that's when you really
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: are doing. She just got him thought, just in there,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: stop making up the bed with him in paint that
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: finished heat. Put it back on that cold that the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: first thing come up. Alright. See, yeah, we're gonna have
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: part two of Steve's responds when we come back at
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour you're listening to Steve Show.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's get to part two
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry letter. I have tried,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: but I'm not being satisfied. Satisfied came home boy, ain't
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: got it. He don't do what he posted to do.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Now you all in here just laying that fake moaning.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: You lie about how good he is. I said he
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: said to make him feel good when he giving feedback,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: and I told you some stuff you can do. You say,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: but he's lacking in the packet. Okay. Then the lane
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: right after that is I blame Steve. Let's get to it, finally,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: blame you. I blame Steve because I waited six months
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: before we were intimated, just to later find out that
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: the sexiest bad. Well, waiting six months, six weeks, or
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: six years ain't the reason the sexiest bad. And it
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: ain't cause I told you the way on it. You
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: can't blame me for little fellas inability to perforone and
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: bring the heat, because if he knew me, you wouldn't
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: be in this damn letter. He did, Uncle Steve did,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: This wouldn't even be a damn letter. You would be
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: somewhere trying to catch your breath, pull yourself together. You'd
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: be somewhere calling in to work. I said ninety days,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: just to be clear. Now, I don't give it. I
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: put press on people. Uncle Steve was in the pressure
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: bringing bis in the back of your head somewhere. Yeah nothing,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I make all for the corners, come up off the
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: sheet and fit it sheets all for the corner. But
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: she's still in there. Hell no, you ain't not trying
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to climb out escape. I have you looking like Eddie
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Murphy and the nuttie Professor where Dave Chappelle was cracking
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: on his mama and he tried to climb out that booth.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: That what I had? Yeah, A you sitting in the
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: barber chest spinning yourself a run what I was doing.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I don't actually have sparks coming off the sheet from
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: where my toes were slipping off getting traction. You don't
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: understand me. I blame Steve. If your man was me,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: you wouldn't have it. Damn letter on the headboard somewhere.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: You got it going on, hust Chelly shall listen to me, girl,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing him You've heard a
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: lot of things about me on the internet, but you
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: ever heard that at that ain't been out there. They
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: can't even put that out. They don't good in heal well,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Steve answers pre I don't need no What is they doing,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: fake money, fake motor, ain't doing nothing. It sounds like
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: a man, so it don't sound good at all. Somewhere man,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: all the stuff out and dealing in my life. I'm
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: talking about you playing Steve, could have yourself in the
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: real relationship. You knew what I knew. So we're looking
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: for bottle bottles, looking for water bottles. What do you need?
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: What's the water bottles for? Set up in here? Just thirst.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I don't even understand the stuff out of I had
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: out of had people bringing lunch cooler, eaglood set it
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: on side to be I ain't trying to go nowhere.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Let me, I'm a no eglued a little cooler cooler.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I didn't have him bring a cool in there because
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: I don't want to go nowhere. But thought he was
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: in Alaska. He's talking about a snack. I'm gonna be
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: in here a few days. I don't need your help.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Junior and Tommy, tell you no more about when I'm doing.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Two little rookies. You two little rookies, sit over here
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and learn yourself something so you can better do your
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: watch your little segment junior. Just in case. Well, okay, Steve,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: say what should she tell? What does she need to
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: tell him to do? First of all, you came him, Yeah,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: small packages? Can't he love unless well tell us, Tomy, Hey,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I'm not in that. I'm not in there. You say,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the small package. You can't get an I'm talking about
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: this man. That's only I'm just trying to shut it
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: in the satellite. He was offended. It's not like it
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: to bend like that. It's just bad timing, bad timing
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: that like you were speaking up for certain group of people.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Give him some advice, Steve, seriously, now, both Yeah, she
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: needs to know what to tell I mean, really, she's
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: got to do. You need to help your man get
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to this point because you are in little with him
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: in here, good dude, so you gotta do something. Yeah,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you might have to be one of them people, one
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: of the women. You might have to get a suitcase.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: What do you mean, is she going somewhere? Not that
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: little trunk They keep under the bed. They want us
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: into closing. Oh, the gadgets up, and maybe we have
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: to help him him be well versed in these gadgets. Oh,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: he got to control everything. See, and then they get
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: what you want from him? What do you get? He happy?
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: It doesn't matter to him. It's her. He didn't write
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the letter. She did no see he happy? Yeah, so
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: you don't have to weary about See. Some people need
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: a lot of sound effects for their jokes. Didn't I
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: just tell him. I don't need to know him. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: just say that he did the moaning son. Now he
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: revving up an engine. This is just how this mentoring
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: thing that's gonna go just like this. You gotta tell
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: him something and he's not gonna stop doing. He's not
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: gonna listen. He's not gonna listen. Don't listen to me.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Listen now you don't you listen to me. But you
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you tell me to take five hundred thousand from Netflix.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I take it. We're back on that. Well. I hate
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: to break it to you, but don't this is not
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: crushed time at thirst. Don't you do that. You can't
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: ment them and then crush don't stop that. You can't
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: meant to crush. All right, listen, coming up in about
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: ten minutes, Sister Odell is in the building. Yeah, you're

- 1:11:38Speaker 1: fooling around. Oh no, no, ma'am. We just make your
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: coffee any more on it, ma'am. That's cause she won't you.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: When a woman makes food for you, that me and
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: she won't you. Thank it's just dead. I don't know

- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Bring it back. So what's going on here? We want Well,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: sister O'Dell, you know, just needs some wisdom from you,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: and I wanted to ask you something. Um you know, uh,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Steve and Tommy uh are going to do this mentoring
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: section section uh, this mentoring session, and um you know
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Steve is a little hesitant because he says his nephew
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: doesn't listen to him. Tommy wants to, you know, go
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: to the next level with his career and things like that,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: and he just wants to get the words of wisdom
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: a mentor Steve who's very successful. So do you have
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: any advice for Tommy? Well, Tommy needs to lift. Yeah,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I know what you're saying because I listened to your
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: show and Tommy needs to learn how to listen. Do
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you mentor stay? That's all it is now. I don't mentor. Stay,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Steve is ahead of me. I am older than to him.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I give him some scriptures or something. But that boar machine.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: When it comes to working, see, one of the things
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you're gonna have to learn how to do do? Learn
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you how to do some? Kay, Tommy, is you're gonna
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: have to learn how to work like do? Okay, what
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: do the same thing. You're gonna learn how to work
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: like he do because you know you don't dues that. Okay, well,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I don't mind working, but you don't do that. I'm
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: telling you. I know you don't mind, you don't mind
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: getting a lot of money, but as you're willing to
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: do it though this man, this man, that's the hard part. Indeed,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: you need to listen before you make some of them
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: ignorant decisions. You did me. He told you not to
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: work with that girl. Okay, okay, here we go. You're
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: not took yourself right on down and now she all
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: over to you. Why you're doing that? Now? Stop? You
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: don't wait a minute, hold on, wait a minute. Time
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: and you don't tell me what to say. Okay, Well
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: I never needed you to tell me what to say. Okay,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Well we'll change. I thought sister Odell, and her wisdom
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: could help you, Tommy. But wisdom, you see right there,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: high cuts me off. He's not listening. Well, let me
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: ask you this, Sister Odell. You know the government just
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: shut down over the weekend. Try to change yourself. I
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: wanted to change it was getting a little heated, well
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: heated because I told him not to go down there
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: and work with that. Good Now, look all right, so
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the government shuts up. I just wanted to know you

- 1:15:05Speaker 1: no man, no man. I'm asking you about topics. I'm
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: asking you about the government shutdown because I have a
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: question for you too, sister. Yeah, I'm asking you by
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the government shutdown, have you ever shut down anything in
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: your life? You know, I didn't had a government shutdown.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I haven't seen folk cheches shut down. I was here
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: when the stock market shut down in twenty nine, the
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Great Depression? Whoa did you just shut us down? Now?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: When you said that, how did you hear about the
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: syst who ain't been here since twenty nine? It's I'm
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: on enough to be here since twenty nine, Bend and
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: White and ninety six. That's my girl. She was born
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: in nineteen two, but she just had a birthday last week. Yeah,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I'm a hunted in four. I'm on, I'm older and
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: slice bread slight bread ain't come out to you want
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: to make sandwich. When I was a baby, you just
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: had to tell hunker bread mashed the meeting. Oh, speaking
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: of your age, sister, I have a question this guy,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Mr Jack Reynolds. He is one hundred and five years old.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: He's a British guy and he credits his longevity with life.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: He drinks whiskey every day. He puts whiskey. That's good
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: for you to get you there a sugar sugar here day.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: You smoke? So you don't smoke cigars, do you, sister?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: O'Dell ste you do do? Ain't on him? Well, I
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: ain't like time. I know who who? All right? Sis
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: yar O'Dell, thank you so much. We gotta want you
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: to bring me back and asked me some of these
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: more relevant questions. Well we won't be able to. Perhaps
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: next week when you come and visit us. Wait, you

- 1:17:40Speaker 1: because you're a sweet girl. Will you stop and be nice?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: To be? I tried to be nice, but it's help
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: so loud. You're gone. Surely be nice. I was here
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: with the show her husband, since she's married to what's
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: her name? His name is Ernesto. Sister. Okay, well, doc,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: the clapback is legal. Sister, here, Hope and George your
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: marriage again. All let's get sorted. I know you watch
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta. Here's the deal. Porscha organized the
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: trip to Houston to help Hurricane Harvey victims, and Porscha
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: and her sister Lauren and her staff of her grandfather's charity.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: They sent a truckload of supplies and donations to Houston
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: and Porscha. I have to give Porsche a huge high
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: five Brobos kudos Hurt. She did the dog on thing.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Her family. The charity they do, they fed about two

- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I think, yeah, really, I didn't know that. Chah. That's good.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I likes little postion postions, a cute little something. She's
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: gonna get her man. Of all of them, she'll get one.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Very proud of her and Cynthia and herself. I think
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: it's gonna be her Rick Smiley. Did you see them flirting?
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I've seen it, Yeah, I seen it. It came on
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: right after Bible Study. Was like watching Real Housewives after Boble.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: How do we get in about ten thirty? Okay, you
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: watch it on DVR, you recorded and on what you know?
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Never mine? Mine is on the v C all you
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: still have that? It works good? Got a out of
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: tapes around the house. You're what you gonna do with
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: all those tapes? I gotta keep him down. If I
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: want to keep up watch him. You know, I might
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: want to see something again, but it's hard because I
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: ain't got labels on them. Well you know where in
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: the digital world. Yeah, you got a VCR, Yes, I
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: have a VCR. Sis. I don't see what the problem
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: is is you got high restriction? No, I don't. I
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: think you do hard. Yeah, that's the only way to do.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: What kind of TV? You got a zenith zena Yeah, Bodel,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: I gotta flow model corner, watch yourself. Back to the show,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Back to the show, back to the house, wise up
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: in and then here we go. So Cynthia and her
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: sister Mal, they also threw a nice charity event for
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Houston Harvey victims. Mal Cynthia's sister. She lived in Houston
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: for over twenty five years. Actually she yeah, so Houston
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: is home for her. She actually lived not too far
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: from me Junior. So anyway, Mal was heartbroken to see
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: hurricane devastation in her town, and Kenya was able to come.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Kenya her brother. She has family in Houston as well,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: and Kenya adjusted her schedule to make it to age
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: town to help with hurricane victims as well. And then
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: did you see this Shirley when she introduced her nieces
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: to her fellow castmates, and then she introduced her sister
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: in law and was like that's their mom. And that's
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: kind of shady with Kenya there. Yeah, She's like, that's
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: their mom over there, which I kind of understand because
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I don't like my sister in law either, So oh
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: did she don't like that? I just had a real
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: moment there. Anyway, back to the show, so it was
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: really good. They just gonna let them housewives some just
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: drag it in anyway. So well, let me tell you
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: this though. At the end, Kenya. At the end, they
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: all went to have some barbecue. You know, you gotta
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: come to Texas, Houston to eat some barbecue. They were
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: discussing things at this restaurant. Well, Porsche's friends Shamia, she
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: said that she felt that Kenya was dismissive to her.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Things was, yeah, she was. She was very dismissive to her.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: And then Kenya walked off and then she went off
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: on a producer in the restroom at the restaurant and
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: every Yeah, I'm done with this. I didn't come here
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to constantly be dragging them. I don't give a I
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: don't can think about any of them any time abou
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: do something positively turns into some bush. I wasn't rude
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: to nobody at that as ball the old table. It's stupid,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: it's t I know y'all got with that. I'd be
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I'd be right back. I came to get married. You
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: dismissed myself. That's what everything. Let me trip work the
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: mine off? What? Oh my god, Carla ask you something?
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Is that the Nelson family reunion? Just like that when
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: we was down there last week? Is that what that is? Man?
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: You know what? I don't even understand why Kenya she
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: went off like that. She was saying, that's why her
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: husband doesn't want her to be on the show. She
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: was rude to the to the producer and the staff.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: It's like, can you kind of changed since she got married,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: don't you think? Yeah? I think she just insured herself
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: another another season on there because she's got a killer storyline. Now, yeah,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: she's going end up off the show. I think when
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: all of them girls really get married and get happy,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: they should just leave. Yeah, all right, we gotta go.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: That's reality update. We'll be back at twenty after the hour.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Show. Uh so we guess
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: this naked exercising is a thing now, Okay. British wrestling
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: champion Keith McNiven is running all male, all female and
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: co ed naked training classes in London. Uh. It's called
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: HIT high Intensity interval training workouts, which are a mixture
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: of high intensity bursts for short periods of time, followed
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: by moderate to low intensity workouts. They've been shown to
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: be extremely effective, especially if you don't have a lot
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: of time to devote to exercise. HIT workouts are very popular.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Keith explains, exercising naked introduces a new and exciting way
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: to burn calories, and it's great for those of us
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: who don't like the restriction of clothing. It is also
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: a fun way to meet others and enjoy a unique
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: workout session. All right, Uh, that's why I thought of
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: you when I saw this story. Tommy, Steve Junior and Tommy.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Do you guys do any exercises naked? Wow? But it's
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: pretty much like exit that well, I'm talking about like
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: sit ups, like push ups? Okay, weightlift? What about spinning? Why? Oh?
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: He think he's so blessed? Lord? Wait, first of all,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: I said, whatever, you obviously don't have trouble. I don't
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: you know, but you know, I said, so now here
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: you you can do a push up? You know, not naked.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Not naked. It seems like that wouldn't be safe. Though, No,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: it's not chilling. I gotta go, I gotta go pick
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: all these rocks and stuff off me. And I can't
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: do spinning with clothes on. That hurts spinning and stuffing. Truth,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Yeah that's true. So cycle all that. See right there
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: is he going to the spinning class. Well, what's wrong
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: with those cardio he had the spinning class? Right, you're
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: already doing something, salt, go to spinning. Talking about a
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: lot of men I'm talking about timming, well, other men
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that are spinning up and we're just talking about when
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: you there, he's saying, why are you ain't in the
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: gym pumping some mind and lift some weights or something.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: That's saying, I want to go to spin yoga? U yo, Uh,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: don't tell you in yoga. He can't go to yoga
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: hot yoga yoga. There was a report out last week
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: that said hot yoga is no, No, it's no different
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: than regular yoga. No, you're used you dropping a lot
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: more water. I'm just telling you that what the study said.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Who I mean, the yoga moves are the same, but
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: when it's hot, it though what happens when it's hot?
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Sweating more? Okay? And what does that do? Tommy? I
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: mean you're putting up, you're losing more. You're losing more
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: water weight at least that Tommy. But as soon as
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: you drink water is right right back. But don't drinking?
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: Are you getting mad at up? You don't go in
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: on each other for nothing? No, subject, We can't getting
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: up back slamming each other. Hey, god, because he don't
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: make no sense? He mad up? Drinking water outter Yoka?
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: Hell love hate dysfunctional family we have here. Why don't
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: we all do a workout together, Nick, and let's see
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: how we do it? Uh? No, No, I can't ask that.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I forgot Africa. Naked can be naked. But
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: have you ever worked out that way? Though? They walked
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: around the house and cook naked and then that's dangerous. Yeah,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: they did that in Baby Boy. If your bacon call
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: you are right now, if your you're listening to the
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Uh, this is getting really interesting now.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: According to the Washington Post, special counsel Robert Muller wants
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: to interview President Donald Trump in the next few weeks
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: about why this is why, about why he decided to
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: fire National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: This suggests that Mueller wants to find out what led
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: up to Trump firing Comey and Flynn, and that investigators
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: are looking at possible plans by Trump and others through
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: derail Mueller's investigation. The news comes after it was revealed
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was questioned for several hours
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: by Mueller's team, which is significant because he's the only
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: member of Trump's cabinet to be interviewed. But in the
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: investigation so far, first Sessions in the hot seat and
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: now possibly Mr Trump, who just so a little while
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: ago said you know, he would be happy to go
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: and sit with them and talk to Remember he said that,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: as we know, Trump has already said there's no collusion. Uh,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: he's just gonna say there's no more fake news. But
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: he said that he would go and talk to Muller.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: But now I think he's backing away from that. But
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: it's not about collusion. It's about the Russians meddling in
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: the election. That's what it's about. It's gonna be about
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: little bit more than that. When they dig it up.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: And that's what's happening. They've got fleeing who is cooperate,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: and he's not down to one count, so that means
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Flynn has given them some information. If you don't think
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: they're concerned at the White House, you're sadly mistaken, because
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: they have to be. If you don't think they want
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: to fire Robert Mueller right now, if you fire Nice,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: it's catastrophe, you know. Now he's saying, if there's no wall,
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: no doctor, what does the wall have to do with
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: these kids who were bought here, who are in school,
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: who are to have jobs, who are paying taxes, who
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: are really valuable citizens of this country? What does if
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: you don't get your funding for the wall, you're gonna
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: send all them kids back, but all those people back.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: You said Mexico was going to pay for the wall.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Now you want us to pay for the law. That's
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: just another lot. And but his bass hangs onto him
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: like he's just the most solid. You gotta get him
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: a chance, he said, And Mexico is gonna pay for
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: the wall. And what Mexico said, We're not paying for
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: a blanketed yeah, he said, he but it doesn't matter.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Now you're saying, if you don't fund the wall, there
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: will be no doctor. How can you put that on
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: the table? Man, One has absolutely nothing to do with
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: the other. Nothing. Now they've spun it to make it
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: sound like it does. Because if we don't get these
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: immigration laws our border is secured, then they throw in
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: make our military strong, which we had the strongest military
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: in the world. If we don't get these borders secured
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: and don't get rid of this lottery, and we don't
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: get this immigration chain linked thing together, then we're just
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: going to repeat this in years to come. No, you won't.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: You have to give these people a chance who have
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: come here to stay here and finish out their life
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: as credible citizens and people. Yeah, it's that's horrible to say,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: you don't give me the wall. Ain't no doctor, that's who?
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: All right? Coming up, just one more thing and does
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Steve's closing remarks. You're listening to Steve Harvey show. Here
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: we are, last break of the day, last break of
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: the day. With just one more thing, Steve, I'm glad
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: for one. I think we all are that your closing
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: remarks are back. Yeah, they're always inspirational. You always motivate
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: us to do something. Well, you know the New year.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Over the break, I was thinking and I was really
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: I was just now I don't want to sound you know,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: but anyway, what I was just asking God, work, work,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: could I do more? What? What could I do? And
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: it was just put on my heart to share more.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: You know. Start takes a moment out at the beginning
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: and the close of the show and just try to
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: encourage more people. You know, I've learned so much over
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: the years. Uh you know, I've had a tough goal
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: of it, as many of you have mine. At my
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: story animal richer are deeper than nobody else's. So I
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: just try to share the information that I've actually learned,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: because I've learned a lot. And one of the things
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: that I've learned is about when to start. You know,
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: whenever you come up with an idea or thought or
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: move you want to make, or something comes from your imagination.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: The thing that I find that stops people oftentimes is
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: when do I start? Now Here's here's the thing with starting.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: What people do is they delay to start by overthinking it.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: And if you overthink something, guess what will eventually and
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you overexplain it to other people. Eventually the how it
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: won't work is going to come up. So you have
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: this fabulous idea that you've thought of, right, and then
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: you shared with some people he said, Man, I'm gonna
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: go do this, and you start talking it over and
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: you started thinking it through, and you share it with
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: more people. The more people you share with, and the
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: more people and the more you think it through, you
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: know what. You keep coming up with the mishaps, the
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: things that can go wrong, and you end up delaying
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: the start. The other thing that happens is people try
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: to line all their ducks up in a row before
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: they start so they can just go on and start
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: knocking them down. That's a mistake because that almost never
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: ever happens. I have yet to see any deal I've
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: ever done, any project i've started go just the way
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna go. I have never seen that.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: I have yet to close a deal that just went smoothly,
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: no wrinkles, no bumps, no nothing. I've never seen that.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: So when you're waiting to start and then the nay
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: says hit and you're waiting to start to get your
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: ducks lined up in the row, you're delaying the process.
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: You know when the best time to start is right now,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: because right now alleviates procrastination. If you wait on the
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: ducks to get lined up in the row and you're
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: listening to the nay sayers, procrastination has already set in
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: and taken place, and oftentimes it takes hold. So what
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: I found is when I come up with the idea,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: I start the process. Now, I start the process. Now, look, man,
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: you can easily do that. It's simple things. What stops
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: people is you try to figure out all the way through.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: You have this goal that you got and you say, okay,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this. Then if I do that? Then
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: if I do that? And then you get stuck because
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: you go, well what happens after that? Because you've never
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: been in that area before, you've never gone down that road,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: so the unknown strikes you. And then because you can't
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: figure out what you do when you get to the unknown,
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: you stop. So now you couldn't line up all your
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: ducks in the road, so the process to success is delayed. Again,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: stop doing that to yourself. In two thousand and eighteen,
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: y'all start now do it now. What you have to
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: do next will be shown to you it'll your first
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: step will lead you to the stat second step. Now,
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: sometimes on your journey you make a bad turn, you
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: gotta make it. You turn and come back and cross
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: over the other bridge instead of going that way. But
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: until you take one step, you'll never know where the
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: next turn is. If it's a fork in the road,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: if it's a you turn, if it's a ben if
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: it's a valley, if it's a mountain. You gotta start today.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Stop delaying at everybody. Whatever it is you want to do,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: start today. You may be surprised that you can actually
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: get yourself further than you thought you could with nobody
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: else's health. Now it ought to be successful. You're gonna
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: need somebody's help. But to start, oftentimes you just need yourself.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: Start the process. God will show you the way. He
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: really will. He always has. I say this often to people.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: God will get you through. For though everybody is listening
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: right now, name one thing that God hasn't gotten you through.
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: And if He hasn't gotten you through it, he's currently
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: pulling you through it right now. And you know how
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: I know because you're listening to the radio. Um, how
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: are you listening to the radio. It's because He's pulling
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: you through something right now. He's gotten you through all
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: the other stuff, but he's pulling you through right now.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: If you start the process, God will pull you through.
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: But you'll never know until you start. Make two thousand
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: eighteen the year starting something great in your life. Start
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: Start something great. Don't participate in no mess this year.
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: Stay out of mess. You know what MESSI is. Mess
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: looks like it ain't right it, it don't feel good,
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: it don't sound good. It's mess. Stay out of mess
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: this year. Remove yourself from messy situations so you can
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: move in the right direction. Start this year, man, make
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: it happen. Okay, start today. That's the best time. Thank
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: you all for listening. I hope that helps you. Thank
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: you right, Thank you all right, take us home. Well, yeah,
