- 0:00Speaker 1: It's a massive revolt, a revolt that the media is
- 0:03Speaker 1: refusing to acknowledge, much less to report on. There's a
- 0:08Speaker 1: big lie that's been taking place in the media now
- 0:10Speaker 1: for the last couple of days. So I'm going to
- 0:13Speaker 1: break it down for you why the media does not
- 0:16Speaker 1: want to tell you the truth. The true reason why
- 0:19Speaker 1: so many Americans were stranded because of airlines over this
- 0:24Speaker 1: holiday weekend is because of the vaccine mandates, and there
- 0:29Speaker 1: was a revolt of those mandates. That's right, you heard me,
- 0:33Speaker 1: a revolt. Now, it's not hard to figure this out.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It's pretty easy. Finally people are starting to report on
- 0:39Speaker 1: this after many in the social media world blasted the
- 0:45Speaker 1: big ABC's, NBC's of the world when they acted like
- 0:50Speaker 1: the reason why somebody Southless flights were somehow cancel is
- 0:54Speaker 1: because of FAA shortages. Not exactly true, and because of
- 1:00Speaker 1: bad weather also not true. Now, I mentioned to you
- 1:04Speaker 1: just a moment ago that other airlines had like two
- 1:06Speaker 1: percent cancelations while Southwest had a massive amount of people
- 1:11Speaker 1: they were stranded. Let me tell the real story behind this,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and again, this is the story the media doesn't want
- 1:16Speaker 1: you to know. But Southwest air pilots are seeking to
- 1:19Speaker 1: block a COVID vaccination mandate. Southwest Airline pilots ask a
- 1:23Speaker 1: court to temporary block the company from carrying out federally
- 1:26Speaker 1: mandated coronavirus vaccinations until an existing lawsuit of allegious labor
- 1:31Speaker 1: law violated violations is resolved. The Southwest Airlines Pilot Association
- 1:37Speaker 1: filing on Friday. Okay, now this is easy to find.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They publicize this, but the media doesn't want you to
- 1:42Speaker 1: really know why people are being stranded. That what Southwest
- 1:45Speaker 1: Airlines pilots are doing right now is they're revolting and
- 1:48Speaker 1: it's working. Also ask for an immediate hearing on the
- 1:51Speaker 1: requests before a federal court in Dallas, claiming the carrier
- 1:55Speaker 1: has continued to take unilateral actions that violate terms of
- 1:58Speaker 1: the Railway Labor Act, which governs airline union relations. Those
- 2:04Speaker 1: steps include the COVID nineteen vaccination requirement quote, the new
- 2:09Speaker 1: vaccine mandate unlawfully imposes new conditions of employment, and the
- 2:13Speaker 1: new policy threatens termination of any pilot not fully vaccinated
- 2:17Speaker 1: by December eight, twenty twenty one. The legal filing reads, Now, again,
- 2:22Speaker 1: the media could have told you the story breaking news.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Southwest Airline pilots revolt and a silent walkout over the weekend,
- 2:28Speaker 1: which is stranding people. And they could have done the
- 2:31Speaker 1: story the honest way, but they deliberately chose not to.
- 2:34Speaker 1: With headlines. And I'm going to readjo a CNN headline.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines councils more than a thousand flights Sunday, their
- 2:43Speaker 1: first line, the long weekend got a bit longer for
- 2:46Speaker 1: Southwest customers at the airline cancel more than the thousand
- 2:48Speaker 1: flights Sunday, roughly twenty seven percent of its daily operations.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It's the second day of mass cancelations by the world's
- 2:56Speaker 1: largest low cost carrier. The company blamed the insulations on
- 3:00Speaker 1: air traffic control problems and limits staffing in Florida, as
- 3:03Speaker 1: well as bad weather. Now, immediately right there, you should
- 3:07Speaker 1: fix that story, right, you should say, however, the real
- 3:11Speaker 1: reason for this happening is the pilots are refusing to
- 3:17Speaker 1: go to work and they suit on Friday. But nowhere
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the CNN story is what I just said for
- 3:22Speaker 1: you in there. And if you think Scenen's the only
- 3:25Speaker 1: one that's doing it this way, you're wrong. Let me
- 3:29Speaker 1: give you the headline from USA Today just five hours ago,
- 3:33Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines flight was continue a thousand sentay cancelations and counting.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Kathleen Miller was sleeping when the text from Southeast Airlines
- 3:42Speaker 1: arrived at one eighteen am Sunday, her seven thirty am
- 3:46Speaker 1: flight from Phoenix of Dallas was canceled. The Pennsylvania woman
- 3:48Speaker 1: didn't see the text until she was at the airport,
- 3:51Speaker 1: where Southwis representatives directed her to a snaking rebooting line
- 3:56Speaker 1: next to the ticket counter. She stood in line for
- 3:58Speaker 1: forty five minutes and left with a Lessons factory rebooking
- 4:01Speaker 1: option eight Tuesday flight. Luckily, we have relatives here in
- 4:05Speaker 1: the city, she said straight in Southwest. Pastors across the
- 4:07Speaker 1: country are struggling with a second day of mass flight
- 4:10Speaker 1: cancelations by the Naacians. The largest domestic airline, Southwest is
- 4:15Speaker 1: cancel one eighteen Sunday flights as of two pm Eastern,
- 4:18Speaker 1: according to flight tracker flight Awair. That's twenty eight percent
- 4:21Speaker 1: of the airline scheduled flights, and the highest of any
- 4:23Speaker 1: US airline by a wide margin. American Airlines is canceled
- 4:27Speaker 1: sixty three flights, that's two percent of its operations, while
- 4:30Speaker 1: Spirit Airlines canceled thirty two flights, or four percent of
- 4:34Speaker 1: its flights. According to flight Awair, the US airports were
- 4:37Speaker 1: the heaviest flight cancelations for departures and rivals Sunday are
- 4:41Speaker 1: all big Southwest hubs, even if the airline doesn't refer
- 4:44Speaker 1: to them as such, like Denver, Baltimore, dawnaslat Field of
- 4:47Speaker 1: Las Vegas, and Chicago Midway Southwest Sunday's cancelations. By the way,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm reading this in exact orders. It's being written in
- 4:54Speaker 1: the USA today. You notice they're still not telling you
- 4:56Speaker 1: the real story that this is because the pilots are
- 4:57Speaker 1: refusing to get vaccinated and they out a lawsuit on Friday,
- 5:01Speaker 1: and this is their quiet way of doing this. They
- 5:03Speaker 1: don't want you to know that there's powers in numbers, folks.
- 5:06Speaker 1: They don't want you to know or be inspired by
- 5:09Speaker 1: what Southwest Airlines is doing right now. They don't want
- 5:13Speaker 1: you to understand that Southwest Airlines is putting together something
- 5:19Speaker 1: that everybody else should mimic. There are power in numbers.
- 5:23Speaker 1: What Southwest Airlines is doing is victory for the little guy.
- 5:31Speaker 1: They're sticking it to the man and the federal government
- 5:34Speaker 1: with a mandate that is being challenged in court. A
- 5:38Speaker 1: mandate that should be challenged in court, a mandate that
- 5:42Speaker 1: I would argue is unconstitutional. And that's what they're arguing.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's a violation of their rights and their employment agreement.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Think about it, and that is exactly why they're not
- 5:55Speaker 1: telling you that part of the story. They just want
- 5:58Speaker 1: to act like it's whether. Now you notice how far
- 6:02Speaker 1: I had to read the story and still they have
- 6:04Speaker 1: not told you any of the truth. At USA today,
- 6:07Speaker 1: So CNN USA today, they're in on this together. Start tribune.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Let me read you their headline. You're ready for this one.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines cancels more than a thousand fights Sunday. Southwest
- 6:18Speaker 1: Airlines canceled that hundreds of flights over the weekend, blaming
- 6:21Speaker 1: the woes on air traffic control issues and weather. The
- 6:23Speaker 1: airline cancel more of the thousand flights in total, twenty
- 6:26Speaker 1: nine percent of its schedule as of seven pm Sunday,
- 6:28Speaker 1: according to flight tracker flight Aware. That was the highest
- 6:31Speaker 1: rate by far the US major airlines. Next in line
- 6:33Speaker 1: was Allegiant, which canceled six percent of its fights, American Airlines,
- 6:36Speaker 1: which came with five percent of its flights. In Spirit,
- 6:38Speaker 1: which cames with four percent on Sunday, according to the
- 6:40Speaker 1: Flight Tracker. On Saturday, Southwest Airlines cancel more than eight
- 6:44Speaker 1: hundred flights. Southwest Airlines set an email statement that has
- 6:48Speaker 1: experienced weather challenges and its Florida airport at the beginning
- 6:50Speaker 1: of the weekend, which were compounded by quote unexpected air
- 6:54Speaker 1: traffic controller issues in the same region. That's a lie.
- 6:56Speaker 1: The FAA has come out and saying it's a lie.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Those issues triggered delay and prompted significant cancelations for the airline,
- 7:02Speaker 1: they say beginning Friday evening. That is just not true.
- 7:05Speaker 1: They're lying to you. Start Tribune again, lying to you
- 7:08Speaker 1: because they don't want you to know that there are
- 7:10Speaker 1: power in numbers with employees and if we all gained
- 7:12Speaker 1: up together on these ridiculous rules, we can win. Even
- 7:19Speaker 1: the Dallas Morning News where Dallas love Field is lying
- 7:22Speaker 1: to you. Here's why Southwest Airlines had to cancel more
- 7:25Speaker 1: than a thousand flights Sunday. Their headline reads, Dallas based
- 7:29Speaker 1: Southwest plans more than three thousand and six and flights
- 7:32Speaker 1: on Sunday than most of any day since COVID nineteen
- 7:36Speaker 1: pandemic began. Because holiday weekend but nearly one third of
- 7:38Speaker 1: those were canceled. They went to the same crap. Southwest
- 7:42Speaker 1: Airlines cancel more than a thousand flights Sunday, and it
- 7:44Speaker 1: tried to desperate to recover from disruptive weather in Florida
- 7:48Speaker 1: Friday and fulfilling ambitious schedule complicated by ongoing staffing shorges.
- 7:52Speaker 1: None of these news organizations are doing their damn job.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Many airports with large Southwest presence saw dozens of lights canceled. Again,
- 8:01Speaker 1: none of them are doing their damn job. Now one
- 8:03Speaker 1: of them is Bloomberg is finally reporting on the truth.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Now they're telling the truth that the pilots are calling
- 8:11Speaker 1: in sick. Quote. The new vaccine mandates from their lawsuit
- 8:15Speaker 1: on Friday unlawfully imposes new conditions of employment and new
- 8:19Speaker 1: policies threatens termination of any pilot not fully vaccinated by
- 8:24Speaker 1: December the eight, twenty twenty one. The legal filing sets
- 8:27Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines additional new and unilateral notification of the parties
- 8:31Speaker 1: collective bargaining agreement as clear is in clear violation of
- 8:35Speaker 1: the RLA. The lawsuit states, you know, these pilots with
- 8:40Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines, in my opinion, are heroes because they're standing
- 8:44Speaker 1: up for their rights. I know there's people they're gonna
- 8:45Speaker 1: be mad at them, and I understand that, right, there's
- 8:48Speaker 1: people that are upset with them, and I get it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I I really do. I understand it, all right, I do.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I understand why you're upset. You don't want your flight
- 8:56Speaker 1: to be canceled. But at the same time, don't be
- 9:00Speaker 1: mad at the pilots. Don't be mad at the staff.
- 9:05Speaker 1: If you want to be mad at somebody, be mad
- 9:07Speaker 1: at the airlines and be madth the government putt for
- 9:09Speaker 1: putting these mandates on these pilots who are finally saying no.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And the scumbags with big media not telling you the
- 9:18Speaker 1: real story is flat out disgusting. Even the Dallas Morning
- 9:24Speaker 1: News lying to the people in Dallas where love Field
- 9:28Speaker 1: is saying, oh, well, this is a flat This had
- 9:29Speaker 1: to do with the FAA, and sure no it did not.
- 9:34Speaker 1: They said it had to deal with an ambitious schedule. Noah,
- 9:37Speaker 1: that's alive from Southwest Airlines. These disruptions were not because
- 9:44Speaker 1: of whether. If they were, all these other airlines would
- 9:47Speaker 1: have had huge disruptions and they did not either. Now
- 9:52Speaker 1: I have lost a lot of respect for Southwest Airlines.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm going to read you their statement quote, we're experiencing
- 9:57Speaker 1: weather challenges in our Florida airport at the beginning of
- 9:59Speaker 1: the weekend, challenge that were compounded by unexpected air traffic
- 10:02Speaker 1: control issues in the same region. That's just a lie.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The FAA has already said that's a lie. They said
- 10:09Speaker 1: that trigger delays and prompted significant cancelations for US beginning
- 10:12Speaker 1: Friday evening. That's also a lie. The spokesperson for Southwest Airline,
- 10:16Speaker 1: Bred Hawkins, is a liar. Quote. We've continued diligent work
- 10:20Speaker 1: throughout the weekend to resenter operations with a focus on
- 10:22Speaker 1: getting aircraft and crews reposition to take care of our customers.
- 10:26Speaker 1: With fewer frequencies between cities and our current schedule, recovering
- 10:30Speaker 1: during operational challenges is more difficult and prolonged. Again, that's
- 10:34Speaker 1: a lie. They're lying to you, and the Dallas More
- 10:39Speaker 1: News should say that, but they're not now and they
- 10:40Speaker 1: will write this quote. North Airline reported widespread delays or
- 10:43Speaker 1: cancelation issues. The Federal Aviation Administration said it had staffing
- 10:47Speaker 1: issues at just one facility in Jacksonville that combined with
- 10:50Speaker 1: military training widespreads of your weather created delays and cancelations.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Now the other airlines had to deal with these same problems. Yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 1: two days in a row. Come on, folks, We're smarter
- 11:05Speaker 1: than this. Finally, the Dallas Morning News way down their
- 11:09Speaker 1: article when most people have already tuned out, said a
- 11:12Speaker 1: few hundred delays and cancelations can grow into thousands over
- 11:15Speaker 1: a weekend, quote unions for pilots and flight attendants to
- 11:18Speaker 1: blame the airlines for spreading operations too thin. Social media
- 11:22Speaker 1: posts from stringed travelers were quick to blame the problem
- 11:24Speaker 1: on the airlines recently announced vaccine mandate. Oh so see
- 11:28Speaker 1: you guys on social media, you're really just making up crap.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines pilot associations, which issue the airline over the
- 11:34Speaker 1: treatment of pilots in recent months, said pilots were not
- 11:37Speaker 1: intentionally causing any disruption. To retaliate over the airlines mandating
- 11:42Speaker 1: vaccinations for all employees to comply with federal government rules,
- 11:46Speaker 1: well they suit on Friday, Come on, connect the dots.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Swap up is aware of the operational difficulties affecting Southwest
- 11:53Speaker 1: Airlines to day due to a number of issues, but
- 11:55Speaker 1: we can say with confidence that our pilots are not
- 11:58Speaker 1: participating in any of this shoal job actions that you
- 12:03Speaker 1: said in a statement got it wink. In recent months,
- 12:09Speaker 1: forth Worth based American Airlines and Spirit Airlines also experienced
- 12:13Speaker 1: similar operational problems, and it sometimes took as long as
- 12:16Speaker 1: a week for the airlines to get enough planes and
- 12:18Speaker 1: crew members back in place to stop the fallout. On Sunday,
- 12:23Speaker 1: Southwest executive vice president Daily Operations and a memo to
- 12:26Speaker 1: employees apologizing for the operational problems. I'm sure knowing it
- 12:30Speaker 1: be releaked to the media to quote, I'm sorry for
- 12:33Speaker 1: the struggles that you and our customers are experiencing. Once again,
- 12:36Speaker 1: he said in a memo. Although we have we were
- 12:38Speaker 1: staffed for the weekend, we could not participate this significant
- 12:41Speaker 1: disruption that was created from unexpected air traffic control issues
- 12:45Speaker 1: and bad weather across our Florida stations. No one's believing this.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Just so you know, the pilots are feeding information to
- 12:54Speaker 1: guys like me, and they are absolutely saying this as
- 12:58Speaker 1: a walk out because they're being treated like they have
- 13:03Speaker 1: no rights. Good for them. This is proof of exactly
- 13:12Speaker 1: what can happen when you join together and you fight back,
- 13:16Speaker 1: plain and simple, when you join together and you fight
- 13:22Speaker 1: back and you disrupt things like they're doing. And I
- 13:25Speaker 1: hope other airlines do it too. You know, when they
- 13:30Speaker 1: start putting this crap on these big businesses, I hope
- 13:32Speaker 1: a lot of people start fighting back. I hope there's
- 13:36Speaker 1: a lot of people that say no more. I hope
- 13:40Speaker 1: there's a lot of people that say, oh, I'm not
- 13:42Speaker 1: putting up with this crap. I'm not going to be
- 13:45Speaker 1: treated this way. I'm not gonna be treated like I
- 13:49Speaker 1: have no rights. I'm not gonna be treated like I
- 13:51Speaker 1: like like I have no ability to stand up for myself,
- 13:55Speaker 1: no ability to fight back, that my feelings are, my
- 14:00Speaker 1: health is something they can just dictate to me and
- 14:03Speaker 1: tell me that I must do it. I hope that
- 14:06Speaker 1: everybody is paying attention to this, and I hope that
- 14:10Speaker 1: everybody's paying attention to this realizes that there is power
- 14:15Speaker 1: in numbers. These Southwest Airline pilots are heroes. You know.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You look at what's happening in California right now, another
- 14:24Speaker 1: great example. So California is losing their minds right now
- 14:31Speaker 1: and deciding that the most important thing for the people
- 14:33Speaker 1: in California is to save them from the shopping aisle
- 14:37Speaker 1: of the kids toys section. Gavin Newsom is set now
- 14:41Speaker 1: signed a law requiring gender neutral aisles in toy stores
- 14:46Speaker 1: so that kids don't think that there are certain toys
- 14:49Speaker 1: they should play with because they're a boy, and there's
- 14:51Speaker 1: other toys they should play with because they're a girl.
- 14:54Speaker 1: They say it's pure evil and they're gonna stop it now. Well,
- 14:57Speaker 1: this is happening. You have a state that's like totally
- 15:00Speaker 1: out of control. In fact, I want to play for you.
- 15:02Speaker 1: What's happening right now with you as ports, specifically in
- 15:06Speaker 1: California that are facing a record backlog ahead of the
- 15:10Speaker 1: holiday season. And instead of dealing with this issue at
- 15:13Speaker 1: the ports in California, oh no, no, no, we're we're
- 15:17Speaker 1: gonna make sure we got a gender neutral toy section.
- 15:20Speaker 1: There are growing concerns we could see empty store shelves
- 15:23Speaker 1: this holiday season. A lot of shipment's remain stuck at
- 15:26Speaker 1: sea because of supply chain issues. So who's to blame
- 15:29Speaker 1: and what's being done to fix it? CBS is Carter
- 15:32Speaker 1: Evans went looking for answers. Normally you have more Barbie's, Yes, normally.
- 15:37Speaker 1: The whole thing has Barbie's holiday sales are high stakes
- 15:41Speaker 1: for the Game Chess toy store. So do you think
- 15:43Speaker 1: hot wheels are going to sell out this here? They're
- 15:44Speaker 1: absolutely going to sell out if you want to train
- 15:46Speaker 1: for Christmas by it now. Store owner Miriam Alhamami says
- 15:50Speaker 1: almost all of her toys are already out on the floor.
- 15:54Speaker 1: She started ordering for the holidays in March. So what
- 15:57Speaker 1: happens when the stuff on your shelves here sells out?
- 16:00Speaker 1: I don't have anything to replace it with. New orders
- 16:03Speaker 1: likely won't arrive by Christmas. That's because goods made overseas
- 16:07Speaker 1: are spending a record amount of time in transit. Cargo
- 16:11Speaker 1: ships are crowding ports from New York to Los Angeles,
- 16:14Speaker 1: where a quarter million containers are currently floating off the coast.
- 16:17Speaker 1: According to LA Port director Jeans A. Rokan, these stacks
- 16:21Speaker 1: of containers seem to be growing. There's no room to
- 16:23Speaker 1: put this cargo. Our docks are full. People need to
- 16:26Speaker 1: come and pick up their cargo. Only half the truck
- 16:29Speaker 1: drivers registered to do business here visit us at least
- 16:32Speaker 1: once a week. We need more drivers on the job. Truckers,
- 16:36Speaker 1: By the way, you want to know who's to blame,
- 16:37Speaker 1: for this. I love how they start at the beginning
- 16:39Speaker 1: of this and they're like, who do we blame for this?
- 16:41Speaker 1: I think, exactly, you blame for this. You blame the
- 16:42Speaker 1: Biden administration. You blame all these comedies in California that
- 16:47Speaker 1: have incentivized people to not work, have paid them to
- 16:49Speaker 1: not work. You want to know who to blame. That's
- 16:52Speaker 1: who you blame here, and not because you're like trying
- 16:55Speaker 1: to find someone to blame. All right, I don't want
- 16:58Speaker 1: to make that clear. I'm not advocating for finding someone
- 17:01Speaker 1: to blame just to blame them, just to point the
- 17:04Speaker 1: finger at them. This is just the reality of the situation.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The reality is that you can't find a worker in
- 17:13Speaker 1: this country. We found out today they're thirteen plus million
- 17:17Speaker 1: job openings right now in a country with five percent unemployment.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But those numbers are much higher in California and other
- 17:23Speaker 1: states that are liberal because we have de incentivized people
- 17:27Speaker 1: to go to work. That's right, we have d incentivized
- 17:32Speaker 1: people to go to work. Now, you may say, are
- 17:37Speaker 1: we really de incentivising people to go to work? Yes, yes,
- 17:40Speaker 1: we really are. We have said that we will take
- 17:43Speaker 1: care of you. We have said we will be a
- 17:46Speaker 1: nanny state for you. We have said that whatever you need,
- 17:49Speaker 1: the government will provide for you. You don't need to
- 17:51Speaker 1: go to work. That's what we've done. So when you
- 17:57Speaker 1: ask where are the drivers and why are they not
- 17:58Speaker 1: showing up? Ask such a dumb question on TV, please
- 18:03Speaker 1: CBS News because the answer is already there. Okay, the
- 18:08Speaker 1: answer is already there. The answer is very clear. The
- 18:14Speaker 1: answer to the question is obvious. The Biden administration has
- 18:18Speaker 1: clearly deincentivized people from even going to work. I cannot
- 18:24Speaker 1: tell you how many small businesses right now are teetering
- 18:27Speaker 1: because they can't find workers. Cannot tell you right now
- 18:31Speaker 1: what's happened to profit margins in this country. When it
- 18:34Speaker 1: comes to restaurants and it comes to retail, you can't
- 18:38Speaker 1: find people to work. And when you find people that work,
- 18:40Speaker 1: you're having to overpay them just to get them to
- 18:43Speaker 1: show up. And the quality of the work is not
- 18:44Speaker 1: going up with the money you're having to offer. It's
- 18:47Speaker 1: just pure survival of your business. I know people that
- 18:52Speaker 1: we had a real conversation. I was at a conservative
- 18:55Speaker 1: conference this weekend Amfest, and out accow coversation with multiple
- 19:01Speaker 1: small business owners that are all say in the same thing,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'm going to figure out a way to start making
- 19:05Speaker 1: money without having to depend on people to show up
- 19:06Speaker 1: to make that money, because I can't find dependable workers,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and I can't compete with a government giving people free
- 19:14Speaker 1: money to not go to work. They said that even
- 19:17Speaker 1: the workers that I'm getting now that I'm having to
- 19:19Speaker 1: pay premium to even get them to show up, they're
- 19:21Speaker 1: not better workers. They're just they're they're lazy. Many of
- 19:24Speaker 1: them are extremely lazy because they know that you're less
- 19:27Speaker 1: likely to fire them because there's no one to replace them.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And the workers have figured that out right. They realize
- 19:36Speaker 1: that they can be a lazy employee right now and
- 19:39Speaker 1: probably get away with it. So when CBS students like,
- 19:44Speaker 1: we're gonna figure this out, We're gonna figure out who's
- 19:47Speaker 1: to blame for all of these port shortage its driver shortages,
- 19:52Speaker 1: it's workers at the dock shortages. And it's not like
- 19:55Speaker 1: they're not offering you good money to do this. It's
- 19:58Speaker 1: how do you compete with a govern that pays you
- 20:00Speaker 1: to not work? Now, the government's like, well, if you
- 20:06Speaker 1: just pay people living wage, right, Democrats say that then
- 20:09Speaker 1: people would show for work. That's no longer true. Everybody
- 20:12Speaker 1: I know now is at a quote wage depending on
- 20:15Speaker 1: where you're on the country. A lot of places are
- 20:17Speaker 1: well about fifteen dollars an hour. Okay, in places that
- 20:20Speaker 1: are a lot less expensive to live, everybody I know
- 20:23Speaker 1: is at twelve, thirteen, fourteen dollars an hour minimum. People
- 20:26Speaker 1: are offering signing bonuses. Now again, you look at the
- 20:30Speaker 1: number of job openings in this country as we speak.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You want to know who to blame. You blame a
- 20:37Speaker 1: federal government and the Biden administration Democrats that have actually
- 20:40Speaker 1: incentivized people to not work. Now, there's others that will
- 20:44Speaker 1: say to you, well, Ben, hold on a second, the
- 20:47Speaker 1: federal government isn't giving as much as the private sector. Again,
- 20:50Speaker 1: You've got to think about this. If I can have
- 20:53Speaker 1: zero responsibility and let's say make the equivalent of twelve
- 20:56Speaker 1: dollars an hour, or I have to wake up and
- 20:58Speaker 1: actually go do manual labor for feen dours an hour
- 21:00Speaker 1: fifteen hours an hour, which one am I going to choose?
- 21:04Speaker 1: A lot of people are going to choose the total
- 21:06Speaker 1: freedom and lack of responsibility option. Happily for twelve dollar
- 21:11Speaker 1: equivalent an hour, And that is exactly what the federal
- 21:14Speaker 1: government has done. So don't act like you can't figure
- 21:20Speaker 1: out this equation at CBS News. Okay, I'm gonna back
- 21:26Speaker 1: it up a little bit. I want you to hear
- 21:29Speaker 1: again as they try to act like this is some
- 21:31Speaker 1: grand mystery, it's not. A port director Jeans Siroco. These
- 21:35Speaker 1: stacks of containers seem to be growing. There's no room
- 21:38Speaker 1: to put this cargo. Our docks are fulled. People need
- 21:41Speaker 1: to come and pick up their cargo. Only half the
- 21:43Speaker 1: truck drivers registered to do business here visit us at
- 21:46Speaker 1: least once a week. We need more drivers on the job.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Trucker George and I A says support needs to move faster.
- 21:53Speaker 1: You had an appointment at seven pm to pick up
- 21:55Speaker 1: a load. Yes, I didn't get either till two am.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Before this year, how many loads so we could you
- 22:00Speaker 1: pick up? About twenty or so? And how many now
- 22:04Speaker 1: about six? The Port of la does not operate around
- 22:07Speaker 1: the clock, like ports and other parts of the world.
- 22:10Speaker 1: President biden Is said he'd like to see the ports
- 22:12Speaker 1: operating twenty four hours. Why isn't that happening. You've got
- 22:15Speaker 1: so many nodes of the supply chain that have to
- 22:18Speaker 1: get on the same schedule. If we can get the
- 22:20Speaker 1: warehouses to open around the clock, that would be important
- 22:23Speaker 1: to us. Forty percent of Alhamammi's business depends on holiday shopping.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It's tough as a consumer because I also am going
- 22:31Speaker 1: to celebrate prosiness, and it's tough as a business owner.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's gotten so bad that some large retailers are going
- 22:40Speaker 1: to extremes just to avoid the log chin here at
- 22:42Speaker 1: Los Angeles. Companies like Walmart have chartered entire ships to
- 22:47Speaker 1: deliver goods to less congested ports. Of course, that adds
- 22:50Speaker 1: tremendous costs that small businesses just can't afford. You listen
- 22:56Speaker 1: to these small business owners right now. They got decimated
- 23:00Speaker 1: as the lockdowns. They got decimated because of what happened
- 23:04Speaker 1: with the economy. They got decimated with COVID on top
- 23:09Speaker 1: of the lockdowns, on top of the bureaucrats and all
- 23:12Speaker 1: the bs that they've done, and now they're going to
- 23:15Speaker 1: get nailed again. When as you heard this toy store,
- 23:19Speaker 1: forty percent of her entire years businesses in the holidays.
- 23:24Speaker 1: She has nothing to sell. She will sell out of
- 23:27Speaker 1: everything that she has, but she can't charter a boat
- 23:33Speaker 1: like the big box stores Cam, we can't. We heard
- 23:36Speaker 1: about Costco. They've chartered boats out for two years. They
- 23:39Speaker 1: have multiple ships that they are now chartering that they
- 23:43Speaker 1: are using just for them. Now, I've heard a ton
- 23:48Speaker 1: of people say the same thing over and over again.
- 23:49Speaker 1: You better get your Christmas shopping done now, because if
- 23:53Speaker 1: you don't get your Christmas shopping done now, don't expect
- 23:55Speaker 1: to have anything when it comes close. If you're waiting
- 23:58Speaker 1: till the last day. If you're one of those kind
- 23:59Speaker 1: of shoppers, good luck, Because she said, once the stuff
- 24:04Speaker 1: on my shelves is sold, I don't have anything to
- 24:08Speaker 1: replace it with. And look at the date, we're more
- 24:11Speaker 1: than two months away. You think you can wait till
- 24:14Speaker 1: Black Friday to get the good stuff? No, good luck.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You think you can wait a long time to get this? No,
- 24:21Speaker 1: you can't go again, good luck? See how that works
- 24:24Speaker 1: out for you. This is the new reality. And while
- 24:30Speaker 1: this is happening, instead of actually dealing with what's going
- 24:33Speaker 1: on at the port, Gavin Knews some assigning laws requiring
- 24:37Speaker 1: gender neutral iyers in toy stores. These toy stores won't
- 24:42Speaker 1: even be around if you don't help them get the
- 24:46Speaker 1: applies they need at the ports. For Christmas. You listen
- 24:53Speaker 1: that last lady doing that interview, and you listen to
- 24:55Speaker 1: what she said, and you listen to house she said it.
- 25:00Speaker 1: She may go out of business and never come back.
- 25:02Speaker 1: She's already having to compete with Amazon, She's already having
- 25:05Speaker 1: to compete with online retailer. She's already having to compete
- 25:07Speaker 1: with Walmart. It's already hard enough. We're making it impossible
- 25:11Speaker 1: for these small business owners even survive, and then we're
- 25:14Speaker 1: having to pay wages through the roof. Just get anybody
- 25:16Speaker 1: to show up, because every small business is now competing
- 25:19Speaker 1: with the federal government, who gives you the best job
- 25:22Speaker 1: you've ever had in your life, a job where you
- 25:23Speaker 1: don't even have to show up to get paid. Every
- 25:26Speaker 1: single small business in America is competing with the government
- 25:30Speaker 1: who gave you the best job you ever had, literally
- 25:34Speaker 1: paying you to stay at home and to not work.
- 25:38Speaker 1: We had a dismal act, not just a way horrific
- 25:41Speaker 1: jobs report that came out on Friday, a job's report
- 25:45Speaker 1: that's saying that came so close now, I mean, I
- 25:48Speaker 1: mean so not even close to the expectations of what
- 25:52Speaker 1: people thought. And the reason why that happens is pretty clear.
- 25:56Speaker 1: The reason why it happened was obvious because this administration
- 26:00Speaker 1: and has incentivized people to not work. I want you
- 26:05Speaker 1: to hear part of a conversation on Fox News Channel
- 26:10Speaker 1: with Maria Bartoma warning that the US is becoming a
- 26:13Speaker 1: welfare state, saying it's having a very negative impact on
- 26:17Speaker 1: the American people because we're literally incentivising people to be
- 26:21Speaker 1: lazy and to not work, to be lazy and to
- 26:26Speaker 1: not work. And these new job numbers proved when there
- 26:31Speaker 1: are eleven million jobs open today, Well, unfortunately, there are
- 26:38Speaker 1: eleven million jobs, but employers can't get the people to
- 26:41Speaker 1: come back to work to take the jobs. So you
- 26:44Speaker 1: can have all the jobs in the world, but if
- 26:46Speaker 1: an employer actually can't find that skilled person to put
- 26:49Speaker 1: in that job, you're out of a job, and you're
- 26:52Speaker 1: out of a person getting that job. So that's why
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm focusing on this labor participation rate. It sounds complicated,
- 26:59Speaker 1: it's not sixty one percent of those people are actually participating.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That means they're either looking for a job or they're
- 27:05Speaker 1: in the workforce right now. This is the number that
- 27:08Speaker 1: sticks out to you in this report because it underlines
- 27:11Speaker 1: the negative impact of all of that stimulus being thrown
- 27:14Speaker 1: at people. Even though the unemployment extended benefits went away,
- 27:20Speaker 1: They're still saying, I'm not ready to go back to work.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I've got enough money, and I'm expecting more money to
- 27:27Speaker 1: come at me. Creating this welfare state. Not good. This
- 27:31Speaker 1: welfare state negative impact of the simulus being thrown at people.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You look at these numbers. The Labor Department is reporting
- 27:43Speaker 1: a sixty one percent labor participation right in the United
- 27:46Speaker 1: States of America. That means thirty nine percent of Americans
- 27:49Speaker 1: are just not participating in working. And she said, these
- 27:54Speaker 1: jobs reports share the United States has created a welfare state,
- 27:56Speaker 1: plain and simple, as a result of the stimulus money
- 28:00Speaker 1: being thrown all these people. You have eleven million job openings,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you have empty shelves and people begging for employees. But
- 28:09Speaker 1: employers can't get the people to come back to work
- 28:11Speaker 1: to take these jobs because the government's still sending them money.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And even though the extended benefits, the bonus money has
- 28:20Speaker 1: gone away, people are still saying, no, I'm not ready
- 28:23Speaker 1: to go back to work. I've kind of gotten used
- 28:25Speaker 1: to this, kind of gotten used to the government just
- 28:28Speaker 1: giving me stuff, right, I've kind of gotten used to
- 28:31Speaker 1: the government just handing me over a pretty decent amount
- 28:35Speaker 1: of money every month. I've gotten used to maybe working
- 28:39Speaker 1: under the table a little bit, getting a little cash
- 28:42Speaker 1: here and there. Right, I've got I've gotten used to that.
- 28:48Speaker 1: It's pretty nice when this happens, right, You get free
- 28:52Speaker 1: money and there's zero accountability. You don't have to go
- 28:58Speaker 1: to work, you don't have to do anything. You just
- 29:01Speaker 1: get to hang out and we send you money. We
- 29:07Speaker 1: literally send you cash. It's incredible how lazy we have become.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Thirty nine percent of people that are eligible to work
- 29:17Speaker 1: right now are not working. They don't want to work.
- 29:21Speaker 1: All right, We'll have more on this tomorrow, I can
- 29:23Speaker 1: promise you. So please make sure you share this podcast.
