Genesis 24 is the longest chapter in the book and contains the beautiful story of Abraham's servant seeking a wife for Isaac. The hand of God in providentially arranging circumstances is obvious and we are drawn to the servant's faith and fervent prayer to complete his commission from Abraham. In addition, there are some interesting similarities to the Holy Spirit's role in drawing sinners to Christ - seeking a bride for the Son - as well as some important differences.
