- 2:13Speaker 7: Man.
- 2:13Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, Steve Harvey got a radio show because I
- 2:19Speaker 6: can't tell it to you any other way. Because God
- 2:21Speaker 6: has been so so very amazing to me. But the
- 2:28Speaker 6: same God, and there is but one that same God.
- 2:33Speaker 7: He is.
- 2:35Speaker 8: It can and will be amazing in your life if
- 2:39Speaker 8: you just allow it to happen.
- 2:41Speaker 9: You know.
- 2:42Speaker 6: I was somewhere, you know, and I was driving on
- 2:46Speaker 6: the freeway somewhere, and I saw a billboard and there
- 2:52Speaker 6: was a guy in a field on his knees. And
- 2:57Speaker 6: on this billboard it said something to the effect when
- 3:03Speaker 6: you've run out of answers, try prayer. I was going somewhere.
- 3:11Speaker 6: I don't even remember I go so much. Man, I
- 3:15Speaker 6: was just going somewhere and I saw this billboarding and
- 3:19Speaker 6: I thought about that, and man, I cannot tell you
- 3:25Speaker 6: how true of a statement that is.
- 3:29Speaker 8: When you've run out of answers.
- 3:31Speaker 6: When you don't know what to do, when you feel weak,
- 3:36Speaker 6: when you are at a low point, when things just
- 3:39Speaker 6: seem to keep happening to you, and you don't understand
- 3:43Speaker 6: why prayer is an amazing weapon.
- 3:48Speaker 8: Prayer is available to all of us. Here's a deal.
- 3:54Speaker 8: You don't have to go through the all of that
- 3:57Speaker 8: you're going through alone.
- 4:00Speaker 6: See, I'm talking to men, women, boys, girls, students, leaders, bosses, employees.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I don't care what's happening. I don't care what your
- 4:10Speaker 6: situation is. I don't care if your relationship is all
- 4:14Speaker 6: jacked up. I don't care if your kids and your
- 4:17Speaker 6: relationship is jacked up. I don't care if your relationship
- 4:22Speaker 6: at work is shot. Your coworkers seem to always make
- 4:26Speaker 6: you the buddy end of the joke. You always somebody
- 4:29Speaker 6: always talking about you behind your back. You're finding it
- 4:33Speaker 6: more and more necessary to try to hold your head
- 4:35Speaker 6: up and walk past these people when some days you
- 4:38Speaker 6: can't even get your chin up off your chest. If
- 4:42Speaker 6: you're a woman out there and you've been alone by
- 4:45Speaker 6: yourself for so long and you just tired of being alone.
- 4:48Speaker 6: You really want a relationship, you really want to be
- 4:52Speaker 6: have a mate, you want to meet your soul mate,
- 4:55Speaker 6: whatever it is, whatever it is, prayer is the answer.
- 5:03Speaker 6: You are listening to a guy who is a direct
- 5:06Speaker 6: recipient of prayer. I can't tell you anything that I've
- 5:12Speaker 6: gotten out of that I didn't pray about.
- 5:17Speaker 8: Oh, now, there are a lot of things. Hold on,
- 5:19Speaker 8: let me backtrack a little bit.
- 5:20Speaker 6: There are a lot of things that have happened in
- 5:22Speaker 6: my life that I've gotten past without praying, because I
- 5:26Speaker 6: think my mama was praying for me. And then there's
- 5:29Speaker 6: this thing that God has called grace and mercy that
- 5:33Speaker 6: he just somehow keeps us all waking up every day
- 5:37Speaker 6: without foot on some form of solid ground because He's
- 5:40Speaker 6: just waiting on us to come to him. But y'all,
- 5:44Speaker 6: if you can implement prayer into your day every single day,
- 5:51Speaker 6: and I'm talking about put it in there at the
- 5:53Speaker 6: top of your day, put it in there in the
- 5:55Speaker 6: middle of your day, put it in there when you
- 5:58Speaker 6: close your day out, when you're sitting at your desk
- 6:02Speaker 6: and ain't nobody bothering you. That's a good time.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Now. Look, you don't have to make no sing.
- 6:09Speaker 6: You ain't got to let everybody know, Oh I'm spiritual,
- 6:11Speaker 6: I love God, look at me. Oh I'm down or
- 6:14Speaker 6: you ain't got to do none of that. Matter of fact,
- 6:16Speaker 6: don't do it for that reason, because if that's your
- 6:18Speaker 6: reason for doing it, that's gonna be your reward. If
- 6:21Speaker 6: you want somebody to just say, oh, they pray every
- 6:24Speaker 6: you know, they pray at lunch and they have a
- 6:25Speaker 6: Bible on they desk and they have a bunch of
- 6:28Speaker 6: highlights in it. If you sitting it out there so
- 6:30Speaker 6: people can see that that's what you do, then that's
- 6:32Speaker 6: gonna be your reward. Please know, that's gonna be your reward.
- 6:38Speaker 6: What I want you to do is pray. Ask God
- 6:43Speaker 6: for the things the desires of your heart, have a faith,
- 6:48Speaker 6: believe in them. But pray earnestly.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:53Speaker 6: I mean, actually go at it with saying, hey, God,
- 6:57Speaker 6: listen to me. I can't do this without you. I
- 7:00Speaker 6: need your help. Listen, man, I know a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 6: people that pray.
- 7:05Speaker 8: I know a lot of it.
- 7:06Speaker 6: If I told you the rich and famous that I
- 7:11Speaker 6: talk to that, pray constantly. It would have made you
- 7:14Speaker 6: go talk to God about it.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Man.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Matter of fact, you done already got yourself into trouble.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Go talk to God about it. You can't see no
- 7:23Speaker 6: way out. You're in a situation. You're thinking about doing
- 7:26Speaker 6: something straight crazy. Pump your brakes, partner, Slow down a
- 7:30Speaker 6: little bit, my man, Slow down.
- 7:32Speaker 9: Don't.
- 7:34Speaker 6: All you're gonna do is make situation worse. Go over
- 7:37Speaker 6: there today and talk to God. Talk to God for real.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Just and look, man, you know what, Man, Sometimes I've
- 7:47Speaker 6: gone to God and I've just said, Hey, God, I
- 7:50Speaker 6: don't have a clue. Matter of fact, I'm so jacked
- 7:54Speaker 6: up right now. God, I don't even really know what
- 7:56Speaker 6: to ask you for. I just need some help. So
- 8:00Speaker 6: deep in some mess right now. Not only can I
- 8:05Speaker 6: not see the way out, I can't see my way round.
- 8:10Speaker 6: There's a there's a poem called Invictis, and the opening
- 8:14Speaker 6: line says, out of the night that covers me black
- 8:20Speaker 6: as a pit, from pole to pole. I thank God's
- 8:26Speaker 6: for whatever be for my unconquerable soul. That this line
- 8:31Speaker 6: is so deep. It starts off saying I am in
- 8:36Speaker 6: deep trouble. I'm in a pit, black as a pit,
- 8:41Speaker 6: from pole to pole. I'm talking about man. From over
- 8:45Speaker 6: there to over there, it's pitch black and and and man,
- 8:52Speaker 6: the man. You've been in that situation before, y'all, because
- 8:57Speaker 6: I have. I'm talking about black as a pit from
- 9:01Speaker 6: pole to pole. God is there, God is available. God
- 9:09Speaker 6: is always standing by. He just wants you to come
- 9:14Speaker 6: to him. See, he been coming to you a whole
- 9:17Speaker 6: lot of times. He's presented himself. I can't tell you
- 9:21Speaker 6: how many times he's shown you how good a god
- 9:24Speaker 6: he is. He's given us all grace and mercy without
- 9:27Speaker 6: us asking for it. He's gotten you through some things.
- 9:29Speaker 6: And you look at him, going, oh, man, I don't
- 9:31Speaker 6: know how the hell. Okay, that's cool.
- 9:33Speaker 8: I'm cool.
- 9:34Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no, that wasn't cool.
- 9:36Speaker 8: That was God.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Pray man, when you out of answers and you don't
- 9:41Speaker 6: know what to do, pray. If you see some trouble,
- 9:43Speaker 6: come and pray. If you already got into it, pray
- 9:47Speaker 6: if you don't know the answers, pray. If you can't
- 9:49Speaker 6: see no way out, pray, pray man, Talk to God.

- 26:01Speaker 8: This ain't going nowhere?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Uh uh all right?
- 26:04Speaker 12: Moving on to Tron in Mount Vernon, Tron writes, I
- 26:07Speaker 12: was engaged to a woman that always asked me for money,
- 26:11Speaker 12: So I broke up with her after talking to my
- 26:14Speaker 12: pastor and my uncle's They said, that's my role in
- 26:18Speaker 12: my woman's life. But am I supposed to give her
- 26:21Speaker 12: money before I make her my wife?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Before I make her?
- 26:24Speaker 6: Well, here's the deal, man, If you're not gonna give
- 26:27Speaker 6: her no money before she's your wife, what's gonna make
- 26:30Speaker 6: you give her money because she is your wife? You know,
- 26:33Speaker 6: y'all y'all don't understand. Y'all got to practice what you're
- 26:36Speaker 6: gonna do. You gotta get some idea of what it's like.
- 26:40Speaker 6: You know, if you how you gonna see you gonna
- 26:42Speaker 6: all of a sudden treat her wifey after she become
- 26:45Speaker 6: the wife. Now, I'm not saying you got to honor
- 26:48Speaker 6: every single request, but you know, now you do have
- 26:52Speaker 6: a job in this thing, man, because you know you
- 26:57Speaker 6: asking you steady asking for stuff now right, steady asking
- 27:02Speaker 6: for stuff. And you know sometimes you' all want to
- 27:05Speaker 6: just keep getting what you want to get, but you
- 27:07Speaker 6: don't want to You got all this costs money. Somebody
- 27:10Speaker 6: told me this, he said, Man, listen, quit calling women
- 27:14Speaker 6: gold diggers. All women are expensive, all of them. Yeah,
- 27:20Speaker 6: you just got to find the one you can afford
- 27:23Speaker 6: and go on and live your life.
- 27:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 8: See, you got to get out that high end business
- 27:28Speaker 8: because you ain't a high end player.
- 27:30Speaker 2: That's all.
- 27:32Speaker 6: All women are expensive. All women want something and needs
- 27:35Speaker 6: something and they want to marry somebody that can help
- 27:37Speaker 6: provide it. It's called security. And if you don't want
- 27:40Speaker 6: to demonstrate the security, man, then go on and keep
- 27:43Speaker 6: living like these cats out here with all these bushwhack
- 27:46Speaker 6: theories about you know, woman got to bring something to
- 27:48Speaker 6: the table. She brings a lot to the table. It's
- 27:51Speaker 6: called herself and the ability to produce another.
- 27:55Speaker 8: You that you can't do that you can cant.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I don't know what you think.
- 28:02Speaker 8: This is what what's your job?
- 28:04Speaker 9: Dog?
- 28:05Speaker 6: If a woman's job is to support you, be loyal
- 28:07Speaker 6: to you, and provide you with a family and constant sex,
- 28:12Speaker 6: what is your role?
- 28:14Speaker 1: But let me ask you this, Steve, where'd they get
- 28:16Speaker 1: that from you?
- 28:20Speaker 6: Because we the older generation, This is our fault. We
- 28:24Speaker 6: stopped teaching it. See, we were so busy benefiting from
- 28:29Speaker 6: affirmative action, the civil rights movement. We forgot to teach
- 28:33Speaker 6: the generation below us that it was okay to be cool,
- 28:36Speaker 6: that was okay to love and take care of your women,
- 28:39Speaker 6: and then we let it affect the music. Now, ain't
- 28:41Speaker 6: nobody loving on their women no more? They got to
- 28:43Speaker 6: have two, three, four. They talk about all types of
- 28:47Speaker 6: quad relationships and what I want in a woman, and
- 28:50Speaker 6: and we forgot to tell them, no, man, this is
- 28:51Speaker 6: your job because our music changed. We used to write
- 28:54Speaker 6: songs about how we loved and felt about women. Now
- 28:56Speaker 6: the music didn change. Where you they just objects.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Tell me what the music is at. Get out the way,
- 29:07Speaker 2: Get out the way.
- 29:08Speaker 6: That's got Blake's in different area because that's oh that
- 29:11Speaker 6: ain't even the new stuff. The new stuff is worse
- 29:13Speaker 6: than that because it's just trick. The new stuff don't
- 29:18Speaker 6: even They don't even take no time to write no song.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Yeah, they just up in here talking now Now the
- 29:25Speaker 6: women are countering with wop.
- 29:28Speaker 8: All this whole, all this conversation about this is on
- 29:33Speaker 8: the radio. Now where we're going. So now we didnet
- 29:36Speaker 8: went to a place now, well I don't see how
- 29:38Speaker 8: we're coming back.
- 29:41Speaker 1: All right, Welcome back, Steve, Thank you for having.
- 29:50Speaker 12: You.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Don't want to add anything else to that.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Happened.
- 29:54Speaker 8: I've got such shine.
- 29:58Speaker 1: A cloud?
- 29:59Speaker 4: What happened to that?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Coming up with my girl? Coming up at the top
- 30:03Speaker 1: of the hour, Will.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I like stank tricks everywhere for you?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Right after this, he's back.
- 30:11Speaker 6: This is Steve Robin Martin show Man. I love the
- 30:14Speaker 6: fact that God is who he is. God is everything.
- 30:18Speaker 6: He's all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, all prevailing, all doing,
- 30:23Speaker 6: all knowing. Whatever you need, God got it.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Coming up right after.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You're listening. Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 12: Sean Dinny Combs will return to court this Friday to
- 30:41Speaker 12: face sentencing. His conviction on two counts of transportation to
- 30:45Speaker 12: engage in prostitution calls for a maximum twenty years. Federal
- 30:50Speaker 12: prosecutors submitted a one hundred and sixty four page sentencing
- 30:55Speaker 12: memorandum which detailed why Diddy should be fined a half
- 30:58Speaker 12: a million dollars and be imprisoned for at least get this,
- 31:02Speaker 12: one hundred and thirty five months. That equals eleven years
- 31:06Speaker 12: and three months. Did he seem? On the other hand,
- 31:10Speaker 12: as asked the judge for a fourteenth month, fourteen month
- 31:13Speaker 12: sentence minus his time already served at Brooklynd's Metropolitan Detention Center.
- 31:19Speaker 12: The result would be Diddy's immediate release from jail on Friday.
- 31:23Speaker 12: All eyes will be on the court this Friday, October
- 31:25Speaker 12: third for the Diddy sentencing.
- 31:28Speaker 6: Well, he definitely should get time served, yess or not?
- 31:32Speaker 6: Even though, yeah, because he been in there, you wouldn't
- 31:35Speaker 6: give him.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Bail. Well, I mean, where was he going?
- 31:40Speaker 6: You know, he got his passport, can't go nowhere, So yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 6: you know what, I'm just I'm not even really concerned
- 31:48Speaker 6: about it. And it is because we live in a time.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Now, that's so crazy.
- 31:54Speaker 6: I'm so confused. They forgive it and pardoned those rioters
- 32:00Speaker 6: that climbed that wall.
- 32:01Speaker 8: On January sixth, the insurrection.
- 32:03Speaker 6: Uh huh, yeah, that that were responsible for the depths
- 32:08Speaker 6: of some police officers.
- 32:11Speaker 10: We got a president ain't paid for the crimes he
- 32:14Speaker 10: didn't done.
- 32:16Speaker 2: So it's it's really we're in a place. Yeah you know.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, this story is about Tyrese Steve he uh.
- 32:30Speaker 12: There's an arrest warrant issued for Tyrese for animal cruelty
- 32:34Speaker 12: Fulton County Animal Services in Atlanta stated that Tyrese allowed
- 32:39Speaker 12: his four big Cane Corso dogs to roam free and
- 32:43Speaker 12: unsupervised around the yard, and because of his negligent his
- 32:48Speaker 12: dog killed a neighbor's small dog. Doorbell camera footage was
- 32:52Speaker 12: obtained to show Tyresee's dogs attacked the neighbor's dog. A
- 32:56Speaker 12: search warrant was obtained for Tyrese's property, but he was
- 32:59Speaker 12: not home, nor were his four dogs. Tyrese's attorney said
- 33:03Speaker 12: mister Gibson immediately made the difficult decision to rehome his
- 33:08Speaker 12: dogs to a safe and loving environment, and he is
- 33:11Speaker 12: cooperating fully with authorities to address and resolve this matter responsibly.
- 33:17Speaker 1: That's what his attorney said.
- 33:20Speaker 8: Well, I'll tell you one thing now.
- 33:21Speaker 6: We've been talking about the justice system so far, but
- 33:24Speaker 6: I tell you right now about them animals.
- 33:27Speaker 1: If some dogs are involved, Yes.
- 33:29Speaker 9: A dog.
- 33:30Speaker 6: Oh, they real serious about that. They're real serious about that.
- 33:35Speaker 6: He now has a major problem talking about rehoming them.
- 33:38Speaker 6: I saw them big dogs anyway, I'm not fitting to
- 33:40Speaker 6: have you running around. You're not coming in my house.
- 33:44Speaker 1: We go sit up to big, big there, beauty as
- 33:53Speaker 1: four of them.
- 33:55Speaker 9: For what.
- 33:58Speaker 6: I'n't been over Tyree's house in the yard. What he
- 34:02Speaker 6: ain't got that type of run around yard. I'm been
- 34:05Speaker 6: over there, beautiful home.
- 34:10Speaker 2: They do.
- 34:11Speaker 8: They'll trot couple of steps, then they got to turn
- 34:13Speaker 8: a corner or something.
- 34:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 12: Now, according to TMZ, Tyrese was supposed to surrender the
- 34:19Speaker 12: dogs last Friday, but never showed up. His lawyer later
- 34:23Speaker 12: told police that tyres needed to get his affairs in
- 34:26Speaker 12: order first, and cops saw Tyrese's post online about taking
- 34:30Speaker 12: a mental health break and in that post said he
- 34:33Speaker 12: was flying to Dubai until November.
- 34:37Speaker 2: You still got to drop your dogs.
- 34:39Speaker 6: I'm just saying that ain't where you got your mind
- 34:41Speaker 6: together in Dubai. I can tell you right now that
- 34:44Speaker 6: you're going over there for a whole another reason.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he'll be over in Dubai until November.
- 34:51Speaker 2: You gonna get these dogs here tomorrow. You can't, You can't.
- 34:54Speaker 10: He has to co operate with the investigation.
- 34:57Speaker 6: You got chicked them all, he got some middle It's
- 35:00Speaker 6: gonna be some crime now about them dogs. Now, I'm
- 35:07Speaker 6: gonna call him because i'm his boy. I'm gonna help him.
- 35:09Speaker 6: If you do any crying about these dogs, let it
- 35:13Speaker 6: be for the neighbor's dog. Yeah, let all your crime
- 35:19Speaker 6: be directed at the little dog. How he must have felt.
- 35:23Speaker 8: Mm hm.
- 35:25Speaker 2: You know I don't like where it is going. Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 2: I do.
- 35:29Speaker 12: I do.
- 35:31Speaker 8: I think I should stop right now.
- 35:33Speaker 1: But I think you really need we all think that. Yes,
- 35:38Speaker 1: I think.
- 35:38Speaker 6: I think just my suggestion because I've never seen this
- 35:41Speaker 6: done before. I've never seen it. If you go into
- 35:44Speaker 6: the mindset of that little dog, the moment he must
- 35:49Speaker 6: have been having, but he's getting it a little snatched
- 35:52Speaker 6: around like that, and pour yourself into that and really
- 35:57Speaker 6: be there for him.
- 36:00Speaker 1: We're gonna move on because I.
- 36:03Speaker 2: See the other dogs funeral.
- 36:07Speaker 6: And I'm just asking, don't tell me about and go
- 36:12Speaker 6: and go and Neil at the grave site. Yeah, all right,
- 36:18Speaker 6: moving on now, and then hey, this really let out
- 36:22Speaker 6: if he get on saws at the grave site and.
- 36:26Speaker 8: Bark and and do the whole funeral eulogy.
- 36:31Speaker 1: In doll oh, I hate you.
- 36:47Speaker 4: This is not much.
- 36:49Speaker 2: This is too much. And then stand up and be

- 44:11Speaker 6: be done to yourself, but to someone else.
- 44:16Speaker 8: That's the key to Lion.
- 44:19Speaker 1: You didn't You didn't look at what men other men

- 57:23Speaker 2: thank you.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Subject. I think he lied about leaving me.
- 57:28Speaker 12: Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband and I are in a
- 57:30Speaker 12: long distance marriage. We have been married for eighteen years,
- 57:35Speaker 12: and he moved in with his mother back in his
- 57:37Speaker 12: hometown two years ago. He said it would be temporary,
- 57:41Speaker 12: but his mom's health did not improve until recently.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I didn't move with him.
- 57:45Speaker 12: Because our daughter wanted to finish high school with her friend.
- 57:49Speaker 12: He only came home a few times to visit us
- 57:51Speaker 12: after he moved. The last time he came home was
- 57:54Speaker 12: in June for our daughter's graduation, and he was very
- 57:57Speaker 12: distant and he acted like a guest in our home. Recently,
- 58:01Speaker 12: on Facebook, I saw pictures of him and his mother
- 58:05Speaker 12: out at church and at a labor day outing. I
- 58:09Speaker 12: told him that if his mom is doing a lot better,
- 58:11Speaker 12: then maybe he should come back home because it's lonely
- 58:14Speaker 12: without our daughter at home with me. He said, his
- 58:17Speaker 12: mom's health is not better and she has good days
- 58:20Speaker 12: and bad days. I told him I was coming to
- 58:23Speaker 12: visit his mom and maybe that would help her feel better.
- 58:26Speaker 12: He said that I should wait until closer to the
- 58:29Speaker 12: holidays and he'll come see me and bring his mom.
- 58:32Speaker 12: I didn't like that response, so I booked a flight
- 58:35Speaker 12: to see him. I went straight to his mom's house
- 58:37Speaker 12: and I saw a first sale sign in the front yard.
- 58:41Speaker 12: I called my husband and he said that he would
- 58:45Speaker 12: come pick me up. It took him an hour to
- 58:47Speaker 12: get there, and he took me to a hotel. He
- 58:50Speaker 12: said that he and his mom are living in a
- 58:52Speaker 12: small apartment because there was mold in her house. He
- 58:56Speaker 12: said she was having a bad day, so it's best
- 58:59Speaker 12: that I at the hotel. When he left me at
- 59:02Speaker 12: the hotel, I took a taxi to the airport and
- 59:06Speaker 12: I left town. I think he left me intentionally, but
- 59:09Speaker 12: blamed it on his mom's health. It's been two weeks
- 59:12Speaker 12: since I went to his hometown and I haven't heard
- 59:15Speaker 12: from him. Is my marriage over? Yes, yes it is.
- 59:21Speaker 12: This is a case of too much, too little, too late.
- 59:24Speaker 12: And as a matter of fact, I'm going to ask
- 59:26Speaker 12: you this what marriage? This is clearly not any type
- 59:30Speaker 12: of union, partnership, situationship, any type of relationship. It's not
- 59:35Speaker 12: even a friendship. At this point, your husband is gone.
- 59:38Speaker 12: He is gone, and he lives with his mom.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Period.
- 59:42Speaker 12: That's the end of the story when and if he
- 59:45Speaker 12: does come home quote unquote, you say he acts like
- 59:48Speaker 12: a guest in his own house.
- 59:50Speaker 1: This man has checked out of this marriage and whatever.
- 59:53Speaker 12: He's got going on out of town, that is where
- 59:56Speaker 12: his heart is, out of sight, out of mind. As
- 1:00:00Speaker 12: that pertains to you, what have you, guys done to
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: keep this marriage strong?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Nothing? For your part?
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: What did you do?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: You let this go on for so long? I mean,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: this happened two years ago. Why didn't you question it then?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Why didn't you and your daughter go visit him? Why
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: didn't you stay at the house?
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: Why?
- 1:00:17Speaker 12: Why you know, are you at a hotel? Why couldn't
- 1:00:20Speaker 12: his mom come and stay with you guys for a while?
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: I mean, is he an only child? These are so
- 1:00:26Speaker 12: many questions that I have. Does he have another family there?
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: None of this is making sense to me. So to
- 1:00:32Speaker 12: answer your original question, is your marriage over?
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: Yes?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Your marriage is over?
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Steve, Yeah, it ain't in.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: The words or in the way Charles White would say, yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: you don't have a marriage.
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: I think he lied about leaving me.
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: I don't even know how that's a Titleted letter, which
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: part of this you ain't see because it's the whole
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: letter is clear. So I'm trying to figure out what
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: part of the letter when you was typing it that
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: you didn't see.
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: Let's walk through it with.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: My husband and I are in a long distance marriage. Okay,
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: I've heard of long dis relationship, So a marriage is relationship.
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: It can happen.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: We've been married for eighteen years.
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: He moved in with his mother back in his hometown
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: two years ago.
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: He said it would be temporary, but his mom's health
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: did not improve until recently. I didn't move with him
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: because our daughter wanted to finish high school with her friends.
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: He only came home a few times to visit after
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: he moved. All right, did you get all that? He
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: only came to visit a few times after he moved.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: Keyword visit. When you go home, you don't visit, You
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: just go back home. So he only visited two times. No,
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: he didn't come back home. That's the part you miss it.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: He didn't care. The last time he came home was
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: in June.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: For our daughter's graduation. See now you're trying to interject home. No, listen.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: The last time he visited was in June for our
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: daughter's graduation, and he was.
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: Very distant, and he acted like a guest in our home.
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: That's because it's not his home.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: He just visiting.
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: That's why he acts strange, because he was visiting. He's
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: already checked out. It's a whole nother family somewhere. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: don't know how you don't see this a whole It's
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: a girl involved. This ain't your mama. No, no, this
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: is that about his mama. That mammy is sick anyway,
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: you said recently on Facebook, I saw pictures of him,
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: he and his mother out at church and at a
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: labor day out. I told him if his mom was
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: doing a lot better, then maybe he should come back home,
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: because it's lonely without our daughter at home with me.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: He said, his mom's health ain't better. That's right, it
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: ain't better. We was just went to church to get prayer. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: I had to take a back home. She was sick
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: right after that.
- 1:03:03Speaker 12: Hang on, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: up to Steve at twenty three minutes. Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: subject is I think he lied about leaving me. We'll
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:53Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:57Speaker 12: The subject is I think he lied about leaving me.
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: This woman is delusional. She wrote a letter that has
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: evidence all the way through it. She don't see then
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: A long distant relationship, a long distance marriage. Long just
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: relationships happen all the time, a marriage's relationship.
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: So I can deal with that one right there.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: He moved back to his hometown two years ago because
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: mama was sick and he went to help take care
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: of it. You didn't move because your daughter wanted to
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: finish high school with her friends, so you stayed in town.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: He only came to visit a couple of times in
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: two years then because he was just visiting.
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: And then you said the last time he came home. No, no, no, no,
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: don't stay home.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: See because when you came when you said he came
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: to visit, when you come home, you don't visit, you
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: go home. Then the next thing you said was he
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: came home to our daughter's graduation. No no, no, no,
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: he came back to visit, and he was acting strange
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: and distant.
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: That's cause he don't stayed that no more. See what
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: part she'll see.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: Then recently on Facebook, you saw pictures of here and
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: his mama out at church and at a labor day outing.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Then you said, well, since your mama feeling better, maybe
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: you can come on back home because it's lonely here
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: with the daughter gone. He said, mama not doing better.
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: We just went to church and to the barbecue or
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: labor day. Soon as we went to church, she got
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: sick at the church. I had to take her home.
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: Then when she got better, I tried to take her
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: to get some barbecue at the labor day and she
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: the barbecue got sick again.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Was that how it happened?
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: Yeah, So then you said, well, maybe if you come
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: and visit her mom, it'll make her feel better. My
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: mama don't even like you. You gonna make her sick off.
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: He said, no, just wait till she feel better. Then
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: I'm gonna bring her to see you at the holidays.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: I didn't like that response, so I booked a flight
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: to see him. I went straight to his mom's house
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: and saw a false sale sign in the front yard.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: I called my husband. He said he would come pick
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: me up. It took him an hour to get that,
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: and he took me to a hotel. He said, he
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: and his mom is living in a small apartment because
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: that was mold in her house.
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: Come on, boy, come on, come through.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: His life.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: Boy, that's that's one right there. That's one right there.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: So now you're gonna sell the mold infested house? Is
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: you gonna put that on the disclosure farm? Are you
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: gonna tell the people that it is? But see, he
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: can't take you there because him and his mama don't
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: live in no apartment. The mama lives somewhere else. He
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: getting the money so he can help the mama sell
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: the house and make some profit and move him and
- 1:06:49Speaker 6: his girl to a new place that he got. See
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: it's a girl in here.
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: You don't stay away from sex for two years to
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: help your mama. You know that ain't what you do?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Does he saying he can't?
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: He can't, he can't do that two years with our sex,
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: we wouldn't even have teeth. We'd grind them all down.
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: No sexual too years, I'd be blind anyway, he said,
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: him and his mama living in a small apartment. No,
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: his mama that moved into a small apartment. He lived
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: over there with a girl. And then you said, and
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: then you said, you want to go over there and
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: see her. He said, she was having a bad day,
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: so it's best that I stay at the hotel. When
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: he left me at the hotel, I took a taxi
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: to the airport and I left town. That's right, girl,
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: you show it. I think he left me intentionally, but
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: blamed it on his mom's health. It's been two weeks
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: since I went to his hometown and I ain't heard
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: from him.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: It is my marriage over.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: If your husband he called you in two weeks, if
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: your husband ain't scared to miss a date, I can't listen.
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: I cannot not call my wife for a date. You
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: ain't that busy pardner. He done went two weeks. You
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: got in that taxi went right back to the airport.
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: It's been two weeks and you ain't heard from him.
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: Is our marriage over? Your marriage was over when he
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: went to stay with him, Mama, your marriage was over
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: when he came to visit you and your daughter for
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: a graduation and he was acting strange and just he
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: had been checked out. Now what your move is is
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: to get this divorce or you can live your best life,
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: because right now it's not a good life.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Why would you want a man that don't want you?
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: See, I've wanted a woman that didn't want me before,
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: probably that work, probably fifteen twenty maybe twenty five of them.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: It's been at least fifteen twenty five women I thought
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: was finding hell, they won't have had nothing to do
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: with me. I clearly, I clearly have been that dog.
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: But you're sitting up in here.
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: Why would you want a man that don't want you?
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: It all started back within that bills when she told me, no,
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: I'm not going to the junior problem with you. I
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: asked her why she started here for life? Because I
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: don't like your facial features.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: And that's when ugly started.
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: Yeah, and you you have a story too, you just
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: don't want to tell us.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Leave your comments in today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:09:56Speaker 10: I know you had one.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: You got one recently, and.

- 1:27:00Speaker 6: have a lot of problems. When you're in the process
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: of trying to make a lot of money or money,
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: you have a lot of problems. When you have a
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: lot of money, you have a lot of problems. But
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: when you got bad health, you only got one problem.
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: You only got one. Your health gets your undivided attention
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: because nothing else matters, And it really came into focus
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: for me lately. You know, because I've often said, you know,
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: if you out of time and you out of health,
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: you big you in a big you in a world
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: of trouble. You can't afford to be out of either
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: one of them, because both of them can take you out.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: And all I'm saying to people is, especially in our culture,
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: we have got to take better care of ourselves. We
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: have got to go get test it, testing checkups regular.
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: Stop this ignorance about I don't want to know, because
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: when you find out what you don't want it to
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: be is too late to do something about it.
- 1:28:15Speaker 9: Nah.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: Nobody likes bad news, man, nobody likes going to the doctor.
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: Nobodybody likes testing. But man, we got to go in here.
- 1:28:26Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: We have to stop this because listen, man, real real
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: wealth is health, because if you're healthy, man, you can
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: go about the business of creating other things and opportunities
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: for yourself. But y'all stop putting off these doctors appointments,
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: Stop not going, stop stop not wanting to know that
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: that doesn't make any sense. God gives us certain things
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: to help us. Testing is one of them. Doctors is
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: another thing. There's holistic stuff, out here. There's a real
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: holistic approach to being healthy. Listen, man, food is medicine
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: if you eat it the right way, if you eat it,
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: if you use it the right way. It's so many ways,
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: so many routes you could take. But you got to
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: do better to stay better. You have got to do
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: better to stay better. You can't just eat anything you
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: want and expect to stay here. A doctor told me something.
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: He says, Steve Harvey, it is hard to meet a
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: three hundred pound seventy year old, he says, hard to
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: meet him. Man, it is hard to meet a three
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: hundred pounds seventy year old, he said. I ain't saying
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: that an out there, but how many of you know?
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: And I couldn't think of one. It's because, man, your
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: body can't take that stress that long. It's a cost
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: factor and we have got to take better care of ourselves.
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: I I'm on a health and willness kick now.
- 1:30:03Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: Here's the announcement. This was the craziest thing to me
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: I've ever done in a long time. I gave up cigars.
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: I stopped smoking cigars. Wow, dog, twenty eight years I've
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: been smoking cigars. But you know, the doctor told me,
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: I did a test, I did a scan. He said, mister,
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: I'm gonna be honest with you right now. You don't
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: have anything, he said, but look at these tests right here.
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: You see this right here, You see that right there.
- 1:30:39Speaker 8: Because I was.
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: Saying, you know, I don't really inhale, he said, ah,
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: that ain't got nothing to do with it, and he
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: showed it to me. I haven't had a cigar in
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: two weeks. And man, let me tell you something. That
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: was the craziest thing. Now, because cigars provided for me
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: such an outlet, such a joy, I have to replace
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: that with something. I haven't quite decided what that's going
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: to be.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: Ice cream.
- 1:31:05Speaker 8: No, I can't be ice cream because they took my
- 1:31:08Speaker 8: little chunk ad off dairy.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: Too so and.
- 1:31:14Speaker 8: I've had.
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I've had coconut ice cream before. They need to
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: go and quit making that and quit calling that ice
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: cream because I don't know what it is. Y'all take
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: care of your health out there. I'm finna get on
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: health and wellness to show some things I've learned, and
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: maybe that'll help somebody else. That could be the new
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: direction I'm headed. So y'all take better care of yourselves.
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: Out there, brothers, go get tested. God is good. God
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: is in the blessing business. Congratulations to Tommy who rang
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: the bell who's cancer free. Congratulations to Kre who was
