- 2:17Speaker 1: today I just want to say something. UM. I don't
- 2:24Speaker 1: think I've ever shared this way before. UM. The title
- 2:32Speaker 1: is very simple, and that is it's been worth it
- 2:38Speaker 1: to me, you know. I I just I just kept
- 2:43Speaker 1: thinking that this morning, that it's all been worth it
- 2:47Speaker 1: to me. And what I mean by that is this
- 2:51Speaker 1: relationship that I have with my heavenly father, it's been
- 2:58Speaker 1: worth it to me. I can't even tell you the
- 3:03Speaker 1: value that it has had in my life. I I
- 3:09Speaker 1: can't tell you how it's helped me to understand not
- 3:16Speaker 1: only my purpose, but to better understand my past. That's
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's that's critical, man, because I'm grateful for that, because
- 3:30Speaker 1: so many people can't get beyond their past and event
- 3:35Speaker 1: a set of circumstances, some calamity that besets them. Maybe
- 3:40Speaker 1: it's been grief something, but it ties so many people up.
- 3:46Speaker 1: It's been so worth it to me it, man, It's
- 3:52Speaker 1: it's been worth having someone to go to when no
- 3:58Speaker 1: one else was there. Do you do you understand what
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm saying. It has It has given me a place
- 4:07Speaker 1: to go when no one else has been there. Oh,
- 4:14Speaker 1: hey man, we're pulling for you. Hey man, hanging there,
- 4:18Speaker 1: hey man, keep your head up, all of that. But
- 4:22Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, man, you get yourself in some
- 4:25Speaker 1: circumstances and situations in this thing called life, when no
- 4:29Speaker 1: one can help you but God, When the only person
- 4:33Speaker 1: that could possibly understand or know what you're feeling is God.
- 4:38Speaker 1: The only person that I'll sit there with you through
- 4:41Speaker 1: it all and understand everything about it has been God.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. Man, It's it's been
- 4:50Speaker 1: worth it to me. You know. Look look at the
- 4:53Speaker 1: moments of ridicule that I go through because of that
- 4:56Speaker 1: my faith and and me saying it too many times.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Some you know, people don't want to hear it that
- 5:02Speaker 1: many times, or he can't talk about nothing else, or
- 5:05Speaker 1: ain't nobody trying to hear all that? You know, I
- 5:07Speaker 1: get emails all the time. You know why you think
- 5:10Speaker 1: you will preach it. It's just people just don't get it,
- 5:12Speaker 1: so I can. I can't. I can't help it, man.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I I can't explain myself from my walk to everybody
- 5:18Speaker 1: that I meet because everybody that I meet ain't gonna
- 5:21Speaker 1: get it. Why would I stop to explain my walk
- 5:25Speaker 1: to somebody who ain't even trying to walk? I I
- 5:28Speaker 1: just I just don't have time. But man, I can
- 5:32Speaker 1: tell you this flat out as sure as I'm sitting here, y'all,
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. It's been the biggest
- 5:41Speaker 1: improvement in my life. I mean, man, as as I
- 5:45Speaker 1: look back over my life and forming a strong bond
- 5:50Speaker 1: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You know, these things you read in your in your
- 5:59Speaker 1: in in writings in the Bible or or whatever you're reading.
- 6:03Speaker 1: You know, when you when you read scriptures and things
- 6:06Speaker 1: of that nature. It it's it's been around a long time.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It holds so much truth to it. I mean, man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's like, how could this have been written so long
- 6:20Speaker 1: ago and still pertain directly to today? I mean that
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's amazing. That is amazing to me that. I mean,
- 6:32Speaker 1: that has to be God at work to have written
- 6:36Speaker 1: something so complete, so dead on point that if you
- 6:43Speaker 1: read it today it means exactly what pertains to today.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That's amazing, man. That That's why my my my spiritual walk.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's just worth it to me, And I keep saying
- 7:01Speaker 1: it's worth it because if you're sitting out there and
- 7:04Speaker 1: you're tripping like I was tripping, decide now let me do.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I got a few more things I want to do,
- 7:10Speaker 1: a couple more girls. I wanna hol at cup, more
- 7:12Speaker 1: things I want to get into. I got a couple
- 7:14Speaker 1: more deals I wanna do. I got a little bit
- 7:16Speaker 1: more dirt. I want to roll up on me a
- 7:18Speaker 1: little bit. First for I, man, I wish I had known.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I really really wish I had known. I really wish
- 7:25Speaker 1: I had understood exactly what forming a relationship with God
- 7:30Speaker 1: would do for me. But what it has meant to me, man,
- 7:35Speaker 1: it's been worth it. It's been ever worth Every person
- 7:39Speaker 1: who out there who hating on me, that don't even
- 7:42Speaker 1: know me, it's because I have a relationship with him
- 7:46Speaker 1: that I'm fine with that. I don't care for it,
- 7:50Speaker 1: but it ain't gonna stop me though. See, because I
- 7:54Speaker 1: know for a fact that haters make you greater. I
- 7:58Speaker 1: know for a fact act that hates validate your your
- 8:03Speaker 1: mere existence. I know for a fact that half of
- 8:07Speaker 1: them is out of envy and jealousy because of something
- 8:11Speaker 1: you're doing that they wish they could do or they
- 8:14Speaker 1: want credit for, so they just anything all that bam
- 8:19Speaker 1: and now you just all over the place with people. Man,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for this relationship that it has not
- 8:27Speaker 1: allowed outside influences that do not have my best interests
- 8:32Speaker 1: at hard to throw me off course. It it's it's
- 8:38Speaker 1: it's just been worth it, man it it it has
- 8:41Speaker 1: just been worth it. And if you're sitting out there
- 8:44Speaker 1: and you're wondering about the benefits of it, I can't
- 8:48Speaker 1: even tell you what it's like to know that when
- 8:52Speaker 1: bad things are happening to me, the calming piece that
- 8:56Speaker 1: I feel that I know that that's gonna be all
- 8:59Speaker 1: right too, that I know that this tool shall pass.
- 9:04Speaker 1: That I know in my heart of hearts, man, that
- 9:07Speaker 1: there's got to be a reason for this. And if
- 9:09Speaker 1: I can just hang on in there, he gonna unfold
- 9:12Speaker 1: that from me and he gonna let me see it.
- 9:14Speaker 1: But the number one thing I always know is I'm
- 9:17Speaker 1: gonna survive this one too. That this tool shall pass. Man.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It's been worth it to me. It has been worth
- 9:25Speaker 1: it to me, man, to to to have this thing
- 9:28Speaker 1: called faith, which is the belief in things that you
- 9:31Speaker 1: cannot see, and to know man along the way that,
- 9:35Speaker 1: oh my goodness, man, even though I don't know what's next,
- 9:39Speaker 1: or even I'm not really sure about the next step,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I do know for a fact that some moe is coming.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I do know for a fact. It is a fact
- 9:50Speaker 1: that God will take care of me. It is a
- 9:54Speaker 1: fact that he will never ever leave me or desert me.
- 9:58Speaker 1: If I just stay here why I'm supposed to be.
- 10:02Speaker 1: He's coming the calvaries coming over the hill. He coming
- 10:05Speaker 1: over the hill, and when he come over that hill,
- 10:07Speaker 1: he's gonna wipe out all this mess down here. That's
- 10:10Speaker 1: that's trying to hurt me, that that I don't have
- 10:12Speaker 1: to worry about my enemies anymore. That my enemies that
- 10:17Speaker 1: are all around you can surround me. You can shoot
- 10:21Speaker 1: all the arrows you want. That's not to say that
- 10:24Speaker 1: none of them ain't gonna come close. And they ain't
- 10:27Speaker 1: gonna say that. You know. I ain't gonna be a
- 10:30Speaker 1: little under some pressure, a little nervous about being shot
- 10:33Speaker 1: at so hard. But at the end of the day
- 10:35Speaker 1: I noticed, for show, ain't none of them gonna stick
- 10:38Speaker 1: in me. You can shoot them, but ain't none of
- 10:40Speaker 1: them gonna stick in me? No matter what you do,
- 10:45Speaker 1: no weapon formed to givest me nothing. Ladies to Steve,
- 10:53Speaker 1: let's getting started a mourning morning. Up, Jerry, what if

- 12:32Speaker 1: You're talking about to clean the ground. You're talking about
- 12:36Speaker 1: the round with the damn Intlanta Focke. Who want to
- 12:42Speaker 1: the mouthful? Yeah, man, I got a house in Atlanta,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but my heart isn't clean. Please don't the stand. You
- 12:53Speaker 1: don't sound torn that wasn't a rip, wasn't all I
- 13:00Speaker 1: don't know who I want? Man, what's happening in Cleveland
- 13:06Speaker 1: right now? You don't even understand. They've been drinking all day.
- 13:10Speaker 1: They fool they started to go downtown and tear it up.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But the city official told him, now that's just that,
- 13:16Speaker 1: just three games. So yeah, but I thought, man, I
- 13:27Speaker 1: was gonna whoop him, you know, But now Cleveland went
- 13:31Speaker 1: on up in that did That's what I was doing today.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I was laughing at the football or I was laughing
- 13:38Speaker 1: at New England got there. But yeah, man, that that
- 13:42Speaker 1: was the second greatest thing that happened yesterday. That right there. Yeah, man,
- 13:51Speaker 1: that was a good weekend then for you. Well, you know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: the hate gonna be real when Pimp can get here
- 13:56Speaker 1: today because you know some you know, no, don't really
- 14:02Speaker 1: be happy when Pimp and be winning. But ain't nothing
- 14:06Speaker 1: to do with Pimp and is we count think all right? Listen,
- 14:14Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hour, we'll do
- 14:17Speaker 1: more weekend review and we'll talk about Veterans Day. It's
- 14:20Speaker 1: Veteran's Day, uh and Troy fires in southern California for
- 14:25Speaker 1: the last few days. We'll talk about that. As well. Uh,
- 14:28Speaker 1: we'll be back at thirty two after the hour. Right
- 14:30Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Miss Ann,
- 14:38Speaker 1: we'll be here. She'll have more on today's headlines, including
- 14:41Speaker 1: firefighters in northern and southern California continue to do battle
- 14:45Speaker 1: with fires on Sunday after the winds that died down
- 14:48Speaker 1: on Saturday returned on Sunday. Aside from ravaging communities, the
- 14:53Speaker 1: fires have led to the debts of at least twenty
- 14:55Speaker 1: three people in the northern California town of Paradise and
- 14:59Speaker 1: two in Malibu in southern can I mean, it completely
- 15:02Speaker 1: destroyed the town of Paradise. It's really hard out here, man,
- 15:08Speaker 1: because there's some I know a lot of friends have
- 15:11Speaker 1: had to evacuate, specially out of Malibu and Calabasas all
- 15:16Speaker 1: My family been texting me and and my house isn't
- 15:19Speaker 1: in any danger, no evacuation here, but man, it's tough
- 15:24Speaker 1: on some people out here. And these fires are real, man,
- 15:28Speaker 1: they are real. People are losing lives and massive property damage,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I mean some people's homes, man. And then they have
- 15:38Speaker 1: the presidents say what he said, Yeah, we're gonna talk
- 15:43Speaker 1: about his horrible tweets. Everything's going on. He tweets something
- 15:49Speaker 1: like this, it's like something against the fore Street Department
- 15:55Speaker 1: doing the horrible job. What do they have to do
- 15:57Speaker 1: with a fire man the winner when he put a fire,
- 16:02Speaker 1: he don't know about put the fire when he does,
- 16:06Speaker 1: he doesn't. He doesn't. Man, this dude, don't get it. Man,
- 16:13Speaker 1: still don't get it. That was heartless people losing their
- 16:19Speaker 1: lives and their homes. This has nothing nothing. Yeah, about
- 16:24Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty thousand people have been evacuated from
- 16:28Speaker 1: their homes due to these fires. I mean, but he's mad.
- 16:31Speaker 1: He takes a shot to take a shot at the
- 16:35Speaker 1: government of California because they don't vote for nothing. He
- 16:39Speaker 1: wants to do, That's what it is. And then blue
- 16:41Speaker 1: wave the blue wave too, you know. And then he
- 16:46Speaker 1: turns around and he wants to put it blame the
- 16:49Speaker 1: forestry management. The way they're running the forestry division out here.
- 16:53Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with the fight at some
- 16:56Speaker 1: compassion for the people who love What about the firefighters
- 17:03Speaker 1: and the people in the fire departments who are running
- 17:06Speaker 1: to save lives and property. Man, and you're talking about
- 17:11Speaker 1: it's poorly managed Forestreet. What are you talking about? And
- 17:15Speaker 1: then to take the money away? Yeah, so what do
- 17:21Speaker 1: you want? You want to just have to have a
- 17:22Speaker 1: bunch of forest rangers, rangers just standing in the park.
- 17:27Speaker 1: That was That was just horrible. What he does he
- 17:30Speaker 1: understand the sheer massiveness of how much four Street is
- 17:36Speaker 1: actually in California care care. Yeah, yeah, really, really really terrible. Yeah,
- 17:44Speaker 1: that was his golf course burning down. Oh oh yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 1: maybe we'd feel a little compassionate, Yeah, yeah, please please
- 17:56Speaker 1: get and then we have to you know, we can
- 17:58Speaker 1: also tell our listeners, guys see five Nation, if you
- 18:01Speaker 1: want to help the victims, you can't text the word
- 18:04Speaker 1: red Cross to nine zero and you can donate. And
- 18:09Speaker 1: also I found a whole bunch of list of organizations
- 18:12Speaker 1: like the Los Angeles Fire Department We're gonna put on
- 18:15Speaker 1: our website. People can donate to different organizations to help
- 18:19Speaker 1: our friends and Calie. Man, it's just horrible, Yeah, yep, horrific, man.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I know, it's unbelievable this year and this year with
- 18:31Speaker 1: the hurricanes, you know, earlier this year to now the fires,
- 18:36Speaker 1: it's unbelievable year year, Saw, I mean, I saw it
- 18:40Speaker 1: this weekend and when I was going to the barber shop,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm getting on the elevator and all she has is
- 18:44Speaker 1: a suitcase from the fire. Wow, just have and she's crying. Man.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I just act anything. I could do anything you need. Man.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I just sat and talked with about Tim. He's glad,
- 18:56Speaker 1: she's safe. Yeah, absolutely, just sees my with a suitcase.
- 19:00Speaker 1: That's all. Everything's gone. And you know the thing about
- 19:03Speaker 1: your home being burned, the tough part of it is,
- 19:07Speaker 1: it's the memories. Memories, It's the things. It's the things
- 19:11Speaker 1: that the insurance company can't replace, even no matter what
- 19:15Speaker 1: the check is, when a person loses their home, it's
- 19:18Speaker 1: more than the building it is, you know. Yeah, but
- 19:23Speaker 1: it was also scary too, you know, the city of Paradise,
- 19:26Speaker 1: to watch the people evacuate and escape, how fast the
- 19:30Speaker 1: fire was coming. It was dangerous to to actually see
- 19:33Speaker 1: that that. That's a lot for people too as well. Yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: that's horrible, Yeah, it really really was. So we have
- 19:43Speaker 1: to pray. What a weekend? Yeah exactly, what a year?
- 19:50Speaker 1: What a weekend? You know what? The president? Right, you know,
- 19:57Speaker 1: That's how I'm really struggling with that part. I'm gonna
- 20:00Speaker 1: be honest with ray for a better leader. Serious, you know,
- 20:05Speaker 1: you can only get another leader by voting. So yeah, yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I hope with all that has gone down, you know
- 20:13Speaker 1: in these last two years, people understand how important their
- 20:16Speaker 1: vote is. I hope they do. I don't. I don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: this guy, it's so non presidential. What he said to
- 20:23Speaker 1: the African American reporter who asked, him, Oh my god,
- 20:28Speaker 1: his a g uh his attorney general appointment, have anything
- 20:32Speaker 1: that he think it would be uh to suppress the
- 20:35Speaker 1: Muther investigation. That's a stupid that's a stupid question. You know,
- 20:39Speaker 1: that's a really really stupid question. You know, I watch
- 20:42Speaker 1: you a lot on seeing it. You ask a lot
- 20:45Speaker 1: of stupid questions. Her name is Abby Phillips. She's very
- 20:49Speaker 1: intelligent correspondent, and everybody says, you know, the question she asked,
- 20:55Speaker 1: what's the question? Everybody want to see this question of
- 20:58Speaker 1: the day. That was the question in But that's the
- 21:01Speaker 1: third African American woman that he's insulted. Yeah, in that
- 21:05Speaker 1: same press conference, he called April Ryan a loser. He
- 21:10Speaker 1: called her a very nasty woman in that same press conference.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And then the other black lady that asked him about
- 21:16Speaker 1: something that being a racist because about the racist kind
- 21:25Speaker 1: that he had called himself, right, Steve, Yeah, you said it. Yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: oh boy. Okay, Well, coming up next we have time.
- 21:34Speaker 1: We're gonna switch gears a little bit, have a little
- 21:35Speaker 1: fun with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. They're here
- 21:38Speaker 1: with chaff church complaints. Right after this, you're listening to
- 21:42Speaker 1: Steve Show coming up at the top of the hour
- 21:46Speaker 1: and entertainment news former First Lady Michelle Obama blast President
- 21:50Speaker 1: Trump and her upcoming memoir Becoming h that's the name
- 21:54Speaker 1: of it. But right now it is Monday. Time to
- 21:56Speaker 1: have some fun with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam
- 21:59Speaker 1: there here with today's church complaints. Bullo, yeah, gracious, think
- 22:10Speaker 1: your time. We were here again. That's right on this
- 22:18Speaker 1: blessed monkey that's eager to find out what in the
- 22:26Speaker 1: world it runged out. I've never had or more complaining congregation.
- 22:37Speaker 1: This Dan, this here and here go ahead? What was that?
- 22:43Speaker 1: This here and hill? Everybody understands exactly what he said
- 22:50Speaker 1: for If you know not, that's cause you don't, won't
- 22:54Speaker 1: not putting it together? Put it out each other, all right, pass,
- 23:02Speaker 1: let's get going here. I we got an issue, brother
- 23:06Speaker 1: Kirby Benson better down this KB accidentally took for viagra
- 23:12Speaker 1: thinking they was his daily vitamins. Ah, could you please
- 23:17Speaker 1: tell Sister Granta Wagner and Sister Florinda Prescott too quick
- 23:22Speaker 1: jumping on the man every time they see it, or
- 23:27Speaker 1: jumping on him. Well where you think, past No, I
- 23:33Speaker 1: mean that church? Is it in the parking lot? What
- 23:37Speaker 1: do we they have jumped on him in the parking lot,
- 23:39Speaker 1: They ran and jumped on him at the supermarket every
- 23:42Speaker 1: time they see brother Kirby. We have nothing to do
- 23:45Speaker 1: with that. Once you leave outside the dope, Well, we
- 23:53Speaker 1: ain't gonna do the tiler. Your bit is church complaints?
- 23:58Speaker 1: This a parking lot or supermarket complaint? Now we're not
- 24:07Speaker 1: addressing all that up. Hell, if you won't do that,
- 24:11Speaker 1: we might wear have White House complain. Well, there's a
- 24:16Speaker 1: lot of them on the show. So moving right along
- 24:20Speaker 1: a Mervyn's funeral home, Carl as you know brother o
- 24:25Speaker 1: Cyrus Daniels. We put him to rest this past Saturday,
- 24:30Speaker 1: Pastor after the funeral that Hurts was the Hurts was
- 24:34Speaker 1: supposed to uh take him to his uh his hometown
- 24:38Speaker 1: which is three hours away. But they had two flat ties.
- 24:41Speaker 1: They are asking if you can come on eighty five
- 24:44Speaker 1: South and pick brother o Cyrus up and get him
- 24:47Speaker 1: to his hometown. They've already taking him out the casket,
- 24:50Speaker 1: but the red will be necessary. I was informed of
- 24:55Speaker 1: this because it wanted a few people that still have
- 24:59Speaker 1: a CB. I heard that the funeral convoy had been
- 25:07Speaker 1: delayed cause of the flat tie, and I'm aware that
- 25:11Speaker 1: they took his body out of the hers also not dude,
- 25:15Speaker 1: you want the rest of the story. Yeah, yeah, Well
- 25:20Speaker 1: when they took the body out there, hers down their
- 25:23Speaker 1: body Creek we was I went over there and we
- 25:27Speaker 1: we buried him right there body Creek Town. That that's
- 25:33Speaker 1: what the do do you think he know that? But
- 25:37Speaker 1: the man wanted to be at rest in his hometown.
- 25:40Speaker 1: That's where it was supposed to be. He probably three
- 25:42Speaker 1: hours away from from Detractors where he is originally from. Well,
- 25:46Speaker 1: what we're gonna do is we're gonna take the empty box.
- 25:50Speaker 1: We're gonna take a box and get brother Ferguson to
- 25:54Speaker 1: put it in the back of his pickup. He got
- 25:57Speaker 1: that new Dodge realm gonna drive at three hours and
- 26:03Speaker 1: have the burial deal. But he's done it by the
- 26:06Speaker 1: ribble because he used to always hear him say down
- 26:13Speaker 1: by the ribble shot. I figure, well that's good at
- 26:17Speaker 1: places in all right, we have a situation. We think
- 26:26Speaker 1: we want you to speak on de Concato just having
- 26:31Speaker 1: a ball spot in the back of his head fundraiser. Yeah, uh,
- 26:39Speaker 1: he's having a fundraiser party, a ball spot in the
- 26:42Speaker 1: back of the head fundraiser party, and none of the
- 26:45Speaker 1: members have stepped in to even think about coming in
- 26:48Speaker 1: helping it. There ain't no problem. We don't need that
- 26:50Speaker 1: much of her. Think of seventy nine dollars is all
- 26:54Speaker 1: we need because we're gonna go to salads and buy
- 26:58Speaker 1: a pair of ball and clipple with the seventy nine,
- 27:01Speaker 1: and we're gonna run that ball spot in the back
- 27:03Speaker 1: of his head clean up to the front. We we
- 27:07Speaker 1: we we're gonna in this hill. Yeah, I don't way,
- 27:12Speaker 1: We're gonna bawl him out that way. You won't have
- 27:14Speaker 1: to real about the balls, but you ball. Yeah. There
- 27:18Speaker 1: won't be leave for no more fun reason for him.
- 27:21Speaker 1: We've already solved that. There, go ahead, Deacon Sister r
- 27:26Speaker 1: shea bailing her ex man has taken a turn for worse.
- 27:30Speaker 1: She's asking for the church to come by. It greeds
- 27:33Speaker 1: her back on a daily basis with fish grease. It's
- 27:36Speaker 1: the only thing that seems to be helping as a
- 27:39Speaker 1: right now. We have no volunteers. That is the country
- 27:43Speaker 1: is thing I've ever heard. Put no damn fish grease
- 27:48Speaker 1: on ra sheeta bail it back where it helps her.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Ex that don't help, no exam board. That's the country. Wow,
- 27:57Speaker 1: that's the only thing she said has been working is
- 27:59Speaker 1: the Has she tried corn huskers lotions that I don't know,
- 28:09Speaker 1: but it worked on everything our had. Corn huskal lotion
- 28:15Speaker 1: could fix the back of your heels, your elbows. I
- 28:21Speaker 1: ran out of all one time w D thirty and
- 28:24Speaker 1: put corn husk in the car and ran it four weeks.
- 28:30Speaker 1: All right, I'm moving along. We have a special guest
- 28:39Speaker 1: that's coming this Sunday, brother Howl Jefferson, who is a
- 28:42Speaker 1: blind uh blind and missing one arm passing, but he's
- 28:45Speaker 1: gonna be playing the harmonica and let me clock serves.
- 28:49Speaker 1: The members are asking that you talk to him, and
- 28:51Speaker 1: he's adamant about singing. His eyes is on the sparrow.
- 28:55Speaker 1: We just don't think that one's gonna work. And now
- 29:03Speaker 1: we didn't want to tell the blind and not to sing,
- 29:06Speaker 1: you know, play that song about the well. I told
- 29:13Speaker 1: him to go ahead and sing his eyes on the sparrow.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I didn't want him to sing precious Lord, take my
- 29:19Speaker 1: hand because he don't have but one of them, and
- 29:23Speaker 1: then he won't be able to play the harmony. You
- 29:27Speaker 1: bet my head and shoot as he do that he got.
- 29:34Speaker 1: He got quick blowing that harmonic. Now you ain't got
- 29:37Speaker 1: no song man. He will try to sing this little
- 29:45Speaker 1: light of mine, but he wants to act everything out.
- 29:47Speaker 1: You know how long we'll taking with that one hand?
- 29:49Speaker 1: Like that came this little light of mine, I'm gonna
- 29:57Speaker 1: let it shut be all day, waiting on come and
- 30:00Speaker 1: give me all right past before we go, we wanna

- 30:18Speaker 1: sell them love. There was a veteran congratulations. All right.
- 30:22Speaker 1: That's our church complaints for today. Coming up in entertainment news,
- 30:26Speaker 1: former First Lady Michelle Obama blast President Trump and her
- 30:29Speaker 1: upcoming memoir becoming. Right after this, we'll talk about it.

- 31:22Speaker 1: at all? Military? Where are you in? Jay? I was
- 31:28Speaker 1: in um here he goes in the Marines. You think
- 31:34Speaker 1: about this. Definitely weren't in the marine. What's the service shape? Junior?
- 31:39Speaker 1: Do you like he fits to do anything? Now? It's
- 31:42Speaker 1: been some times. I don't at le look like you
- 31:45Speaker 1: killed somebody day and I respect what you working in
- 31:56Speaker 1: the mess home? Okay? See, I was on the front line.
- 32:00Speaker 1: You were entertained, you were entertainment. Where did you do
- 32:02Speaker 1: basic training for Jackson, South Carolina? That's that's not lying on?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Are you lying Paris Island? I was in Paris Island.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I make up your mind. Many that sounds just like

- 32:29Speaker 1: being No damn, now I know you weren't. He said

- 32:56Speaker 1: over there. Alright. Look, first, Lady Michelle Obama calls Donald
- 33:02Speaker 1: Trump out in her upcoming memoir in Uh the Name
- 33:06Speaker 1: of It Is Becoming It hit stores on Tuesday. Mrs
- 33:09Speaker 1: Obamaca is everything from growing up in Chicago to confronting
- 33:13Speaker 1: racism in public life. Michelle Obama went on to denounce
- 33:17Speaker 1: Trump's birther campaign that questioned her husband's citizenship, calling it
- 33:21Speaker 1: bigoted and dangerous for Michelle. Obama is scheduled to have
- 33:26Speaker 1: an exclusive interview with one Mr Steve Harvey tomorrow morning.
- 33:31Speaker 1: That's right, right, Uh huh, that's exciting. Huh. Don't ask
- 33:37Speaker 1: me why. It just just called it grace, yes, because yeah, yeah, alright.
- 33:45Speaker 1: And the other entertainment news Bruno Mars is making sure
- 33:48Speaker 1: that four thousand people who live in Hawaii have a
- 33:52Speaker 1: Thanksgiving meal on their tables. Come November twenty two, Bruno
- 33:56Speaker 1: is donating to the Salvation Armies Thanksgiving Dinner program. The
- 34:00Speaker 1: number of people who will benefit from Mars's donation comes
- 34:03Speaker 1: from the name of his song um album and yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 1: twenty four Carrot and it's tour twenty four magic, twenty
- 34:10Speaker 1: four Carrot Magic. Okay, so that's right, that's really good.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Huh than you had you had spam for Thanksgetting all right, Dave?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Please and well. Officials in southern California have been warning
- 34:38Speaker 1: residents to leave their homes. Some people are still trying
- 34:41Speaker 1: to hang on as the massive Wolsey fire burns his
- 34:44Speaker 1: way through Ventura County. Fire Chief Scott Jabbert says that
- 34:47Speaker 1: this blaze is especially fast moving. We're starting to see
- 34:49Speaker 1: another series of Santa Anna winds that are glowing here
- 34:54Speaker 1: and working their way south towards San Diego. And this
- 34:57Speaker 1: has us very concerned. And you know h two as
- 35:00Speaker 1: a component of fire that makes it burn hotter and longer.
- 35:03Speaker 1: The fire has so far consumed one hundred thirty square miles. Meanwhile,
- 35:06Speaker 1: the Wolvesey campfire that's in northern California and the uh
- 35:11Speaker 1: The Wolsey Fire and the camp Fire fire both responsible
- 35:14Speaker 1: for a total of thirty one death right now, and
- 35:16Speaker 1: about a hundred people are still missing unaccounted for. The
- 35:19Speaker 1: camp fire fire in northern California burned through one hundred
- 35:22Speaker 1: and seventy square miles. However, some progress they say has
- 35:25Speaker 1: been made in containing that blaze. They're recounting ballots in
- 35:29Speaker 1: Florida and both the U. S. Senate gubernatorial races. A
- 35:32Speaker 1: new vote talies where sim submit on Saturday. The unofficial
- 35:35Speaker 1: results show that Republican Rhonda Santis is over Andrew Gillen
- 35:39Speaker 1: by less than a half of a per cent in
- 35:40Speaker 1: the governor's race, and for U. S. Senate, Republican Rick
- 35:43Speaker 1: Scott leading Democrat Bill na Nelson by less than a
- 35:46Speaker 1: quarter of a percent. Both races well within the limit
- 35:49Speaker 1: for the automatic recount. President Trump joined other heads of
- 35:53Speaker 1: state in Paris over the weekend to commemorate the centennial
- 35:56Speaker 1: of the Armistice that marked the end of World War One.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Trump later visited an American cemetery outside the French capital
- 36:03Speaker 1: to honor the more than one hundred thousand American soldiers
- 36:06Speaker 1: who died fighting the so called Great War. We are
- 36:09Speaker 1: gathered together at this hallowed resting place to pay tribute
- 36:13Speaker 1: to the brave Americans who gave their last breath in
- 36:18Speaker 1: that mighty struggle a century ago. That's right, Democratic Republican
- 36:22Speaker 1: of the Republic of Congo struggling to contain an eradicated
- 36:26Speaker 1: outbreak of the deadly bowl of virus. That's again, Democratic
- 36:29Speaker 1: Republic Congo, dealing with that almost two people have died
- 36:32Speaker 1: of ebola since August and the Congo more than a
- 36:35Speaker 1: three hundred cases said to be either confirmed or probable.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Motel six has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit
- 36:41Speaker 1: accusing that hotel chain of sharing guest information with the
- 36:45Speaker 1: Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, or ICE. Lawsuit, filed by
- 36:48Speaker 1: the Mexican American Leagal Defense and Education Fund says guests
- 36:51Speaker 1: and Motel six were questioned by ICE and that many
- 36:54Speaker 1: ended up in deportation proceedings. Foreign President George W. Bush,
- 36:59Speaker 1: first Lady Lord, honored in Philadelphia last night with the
- 37:02Speaker 1: National Constitution Sanders Liberty Medal for their commitment to veterans.
- 37:06Speaker 1: And finally, Mr looks like the Grinch stole the weekend
- 37:12Speaker 1: box office. The Grinch brought in a whopping sixties six
- 37:15Speaker 1: million dollars. Here's up, Steve Harvey Nation. Find it of
- 37:18Speaker 1: Uncle Steve Smart and his nephew back at twenty miss
- 37:21Speaker 1: after the hour and Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:24Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hollywood stars took to
- 37:28Speaker 1: social media on Saturday to rip into President Donald Trump
- 37:32Speaker 1: for a tweet on Saturday in which the President blamed
- 37:34Speaker 1: gross mismanagement. This is what we were talking about earlier,
- 37:37Speaker 1: Steve gross miss management of the forests in California. For
- 37:40Speaker 1: a trio of deadly wildfires blazing across the state. Katie Perry,
- 37:45Speaker 1: Ava Duvernet, Don Cheetle, Kathy Griffin, A Lissa a, Lana Milano,
- 37:49Speaker 1: and Maria Shriver there were among the celebrities who castigated
- 37:53Speaker 1: the President for his tweet and called him heartless. In
- 37:56Speaker 1: case you missed it, the President tweeted quote, there is
- 37:59Speaker 1: no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires
- 38:02Speaker 1: in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions
- 38:06Speaker 1: of dollars are given each year with so many lives lost,
- 38:10Speaker 1: all because of gross mismanagement of the forest. Remedy now
- 38:14Speaker 1: or no more fed payments unquote. You don't send out
- 38:20Speaker 1: condolences for lives laws. You don't send out any sorrow
- 38:25Speaker 1: for the people who are losing their homes. You don't
- 38:28Speaker 1: send out a congratulatory for the brave firefighters men and
- 38:31Speaker 1: women who are sacrificing themselves to get people to safety
- 38:36Speaker 1: and to try to save as much a property as
- 38:39Speaker 1: possible and to get some type of containment with the
- 38:42Speaker 1: weather being the way it is for you to take
- 38:46Speaker 1: a shot like that, it's just you don't think, man.
- 38:50Speaker 1: But I keep telling y'all, oh, rich men who did
- 38:55Speaker 1: not grow up and earn their money, since how many
- 39:01Speaker 1: of them think. See, but if you've never had poor days,
- 39:05Speaker 1: if you've never had to pull yourself up by your bootstraps,
- 39:09Speaker 1: you don't know what it is to be compassionate. You
- 39:12Speaker 1: don't know what it is to be without. They've elected
- 39:15Speaker 1: a man who does not have compassion because he's never
- 39:20Speaker 1: needed any. See, no one has had to show him
- 39:23Speaker 1: any compassion because he's always had it. So when you've
- 39:27Speaker 1: never been shown compassion, you don't even know what it
- 39:32Speaker 1: looked like. When you've never required compassion, you don't know
- 39:35Speaker 1: what it looked like until you go and see what
- 39:39Speaker 1: what's required when people need compassion, you won't know this dude.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Man is out of touch. We have technically the most
- 39:50Speaker 1: unqualified person as the president that we could have elected,
- 39:55Speaker 1: and for the followers to keep following him blindly, man,
- 39:58Speaker 1: it's just ridiculous. Yeah, he has no idea how to govern,
- 40:02Speaker 1: He has no idea what his leadership with qualities requirements
- 40:06Speaker 1: really are. And he's not trying to get it. And
- 40:10Speaker 1: I'm not praying for him because he ain't gonna get it. Um. Yes, Steve.
- 40:15Speaker 1: California Professional Firefighters President Brian k Rice said in a statement,
- 40:19Speaker 1: the president's assertion that California's forest management policies are to
- 40:23Speaker 1: blame for catastrophic wildfire is dangerously wrong. Are coming up
- 40:30Speaker 1: next at thirty four after the hour. The election is
- 40:33Speaker 1: not over, guys. In Florida, Andrew Gillum retracts his concession.
- 40:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Florida has
- 40:44Speaker 1: ordered a statewide election recount. A statewide machine recount has
- 40:48Speaker 1: been ordered by the Florida Secretary of State. The recount
- 40:52Speaker 1: will include the races for Senator and governor. Results of
- 40:55Speaker 1: the recount are due on Thursday. November, after the announced
- 41:00Speaker 1: the Democratic candidate for governor, Andrew Gillum, said he was
- 41:03Speaker 1: replacing his earlier concession. What I do know is that
- 41:09Speaker 1: we don't just get the opportunity to stop accounting votes
- 41:12Speaker 1: because we don't like the direction in which the vote
- 41:15Speaker 1: tally is heading. Uh. That is not democratic, and that
- 41:18Speaker 1: certainly is not the American way. In America, we count
- 41:22Speaker 1: every vote, regardless of what the outcome. Maybe. Uh they've
- 41:26Speaker 1: even used my own words on the evening of election night,
- 41:31Speaker 1: uh in some cases to justify uh ending the count. Well,
- 41:37Speaker 1: let me say clearly, I am replacing my words of
- 41:42Speaker 1: concession with an uncompromised and unapologetic call that we count
- 41:49Speaker 1: every single vote. We count every vote. Let's do it.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Let's go get the counting. They got a great calmness
- 42:00Speaker 1: about him. Yes, yes, yes, yeah. So what do you think, Steve, Well,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you know, look, it's something going on.
- 42:11Speaker 1: It's always been something crazy in Florida. They stole it
- 42:15Speaker 1: from Gore with the bushes. They stole it from Gore
- 42:21Speaker 1: down there. They did it, so you know, it happens
- 42:24Speaker 1: in Florida. We just gotta wait and see how it
- 42:27Speaker 1: turns out. I know the race and Georgia is completely
- 42:31Speaker 1: close and his race is close to So you gotta
- 42:34Speaker 1: get this stuff counting. And that's all we got into Thursday. No,
- 42:38Speaker 1: you have to get the votes counted and that that's
- 42:42Speaker 1: the only way to make it fair, fair election for everybody.
- 42:46Speaker 1: It's got to be fair that people have to speak.
- 42:48Speaker 1: This is not about the electoral vote. This isn't for president.
- 42:52Speaker 1: And we've got to start thinking about because this time
- 42:57Speaker 1: you've got to vote where the majority vote can count.
- 43:01Speaker 1: But you've got to make sure because you gotta watch him. Man.
- 43:05Speaker 1: You you look at the places he went to petition
- 43:09Speaker 1: for these senators. He went to Ohio, he went to Georgia,
- 43:14Speaker 1: he went to Alabama because he knows. Man, these are
- 43:19Speaker 1: what the very important electoral votes are. You know, man,
- 43:22Speaker 1: we we gotta get smart because he's there. The Republican
- 43:27Speaker 1: Party plays chess, these Democrats be playing checkers. And I'm
- 43:33Speaker 1: calling it like I said it, because we are so
- 43:37Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, right now, we're blowing it because
- 43:40Speaker 1: we're doing the exact same thing that they did to Obama.
- 43:45Speaker 1: We're spending all of our time telling you how much
- 43:47Speaker 1: we hate Trump, how much he ain't doing what he
- 43:50Speaker 1: ain't stopping him. We're preparing no candidate for We should
- 43:57Speaker 1: have two people right now that all of us should
- 44:00Speaker 1: know their names right now, and we're not, and we're not,
- 44:07Speaker 1: and we're gonna mess around, and we're gonna have sixteen
- 44:10Speaker 1: people up on that stage, just like the Republicans did,
- 44:14Speaker 1: and they're gonna start tearing at each other and they're
- 44:17Speaker 1: gonna sit up here. And that's that's how Trump got
- 44:19Speaker 1: in with the Republican Party. And I see the exact
- 44:22Speaker 1: same thing happened. Because we're not preparing anybody in the
- 44:26Speaker 1: Democratic We're not preparing anybody, man, and this is politics,
- 44:31Speaker 1: and that we're just being stupid about this, Yeah, Steve. Meanwhile,
- 44:35Speaker 1: in Georgia, Democratic Canada to Stacy Abrams is being pushed
- 44:40Speaker 1: was being pushed Saturday to compete in the race for
- 44:43Speaker 1: Georgia's governor. On this past Saturday, Abraham's opponent, Brian Kemp's
- 44:46Speaker 1: campaign accused Abrams of ignoring the will of the people
- 44:50Speaker 1: and making up numbers to keep the race alive. But
- 44:53Speaker 1: civil rights activists are urging Stacy Abrams, who could become
- 44:56Speaker 1: Georgia's first black governor, to stay in the race. And
- 44:59Speaker 1: can continue pushing for every ballot to beach not making
- 45:03Speaker 1: up numbers. The votes haven't been counted. This guy Kemp
- 45:09Speaker 1: has even resigned his current position so he can say,
- 45:15Speaker 1: move on into the governor show. This dude is funny. Yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 1: get the counting, Yeah yeah, yeah, just keep counting and
- 45:25Speaker 1: we'll and you know, well, then we can decide. We'll
- 45:28Speaker 1: see what's going on. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 45:32Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 45:35Speaker 1: right about four minutes after it's my strawberry letter for
- 45:38Speaker 1: today subject my old man is up to some new tricks,
- 45:43Speaker 1: but right now the nephew is on board with today's
- 45:46Speaker 1: prank phone call. What you got now? Fairly this right here,
- 45:49Speaker 1: this brand new is called w v P. What's w
- 45:54Speaker 1: v P? What's that? What that mean? White Vote Patrol?
- 46:00Speaker 1: With this in love? It ain't just what's going on
- 46:06Speaker 1: right now? Running running customer service, trying to read Sandy Plus,
- 46:13Speaker 1: this is Sandy. How can I help you? Sandy? Uh, listen,
- 46:17Speaker 1: I'm calling with your VP and you got a minute.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I just wanted to see if you don't mind. I
- 46:23Speaker 1: know you're at work right now, but if you don't mind, um, okay,
- 46:27Speaker 1: I have just nure. Okay, So you're in Florida, right, Yes,
- 46:32Speaker 1: how can I help you? Yeah? Well, like I said,
- 46:34Speaker 1: I'm with v KE and we're trying to actually do
- 46:37Speaker 1: a tally on everything that just just took place here
- 46:41Speaker 1: in the mid term election. And we're trying to actually
- 46:43Speaker 1: do a tally on everything. So I wanted to call
- 46:46Speaker 1: in and see if I can get some some information
- 46:48Speaker 1: from you, if that's possible. Okay, Okay, So what we're talking,
- 46:54Speaker 1: what we're trying to do was, like I said, the
- 46:56Speaker 1: mid term election is just past, which VT we're trying
- 47:01Speaker 1: to figure out exactly, h who who did you vote
- 47:04Speaker 1: for in the mid term election? Do you want to
- 47:06Speaker 1: know who I voted for? Yes? Like I said, this
- 47:09Speaker 1: is w v P. What is w v P. What
- 47:12Speaker 1: you keep saying w v P. What is w v P.
- 47:14Speaker 1: That's White vote Patrol, White vote patrol with citizens over,
- 47:19Speaker 1: that's white vote patrol. Yeah. Yeah, like I said, we
- 47:23Speaker 1: want to see who you voted for in the Who
- 47:27Speaker 1: did you vote for? What do you mean did I
- 47:29Speaker 1: vote for? That's between me and the ballot box. Okay,
- 47:33Speaker 1: that's that's not for me. That's not something you can
- 47:35Speaker 1: ask me what I mean. But like I said, I'm
- 47:38Speaker 1: with the citizens of America. This is w VP, and
- 47:41Speaker 1: what would your citizens of America too? And citizens don't
- 47:44Speaker 1: have to tell her anybody who they're voted for. We
- 47:47Speaker 1: want to know here with w v P, exactly who
- 47:50Speaker 1: you voted for. Like, what do you want to do
- 47:53Speaker 1: with that information? What do you do with that information?
- 47:55Speaker 1: What do you do? We're tallying up the information and
- 47:59Speaker 1: make a shore it's correct because what we're doing. How
- 48:03Speaker 1: can you want against what? Telling? Make sure against what
- 48:07Speaker 1: you have white white people's information, and you're gonna this
- 48:12Speaker 1: is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. So you
- 48:15Speaker 1: don't have people, you don't ask people who they voted for. Okay,
- 48:19Speaker 1: that's what that's sort of America. You can vote through
- 48:22Speaker 1: woever you want and you don't have to tell anybody. Okay,
- 48:25Speaker 1: But this is w v We're a New Orleans vote
- 48:28Speaker 1: for an alligator. If I want to, I don't have
- 48:32Speaker 1: to tell you or w v D you're any VP?
- 48:35Speaker 1: What what? Like I said, we are White Vote Patrol
- 48:38Speaker 1: and we're trying to say who are you? What? What
- 48:41Speaker 1: did you say? Your name was? My name is? My
- 48:43Speaker 1: name is Brian. Brian yea, well, Brian, you should be
- 48:47Speaker 1: ashamed of yourself calling people up and asking who they
- 48:49Speaker 1: vote for and calling yourself white vote patrol. I don't
- 48:52Speaker 1: call it. I don't. I don't. I don't do a
- 48:54Speaker 1: black vote patrol. I don't do a red vote patrol,
- 48:58Speaker 1: or yellow vote patrol or a green open It's it's
- 49:02Speaker 1: un American. Okay, it's un American. But like I said,
- 49:06Speaker 1: just for this particular cally that we're doing, we're needing
- 49:09Speaker 1: to know. No, no, no, no, no, no no no,
- 49:13Speaker 1: there is no way I'm gonna tell you who I
- 49:14Speaker 1: voted for. You don't. You don't tell me who you
- 49:17Speaker 1: voted for? Lady, Okay, no, I have not telling you.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I am not I'm going to tell you who I
- 49:25Speaker 1: voted for. It's Unamerican. I don't have to, and you
- 49:28Speaker 1: have no business asking me. So you are you are?
- 49:31Speaker 1: You are changed? Are you as changed? Who you voted for? You?
- 49:35Speaker 1: I am not ashamed who I am voted for. You
- 49:38Speaker 1: ash you voted for. I am not ashamed of who
- 49:41Speaker 1: I voted for, and I wanted each more. Bryan, Well,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I want to know, Sandy, who you voted for so
- 49:48Speaker 1: I can make a cally of it, and we're calling
- 49:51Speaker 1: people in Florida to see who they voted for. And
- 49:54Speaker 1: I want to know where you work so I can
- 49:56Speaker 1: call customer service there and logical place a and you
- 50:00Speaker 1: think is completely probably unconstitutional. I don't really want to
- 50:06Speaker 1: continue to go back and forth with you. Really, I
- 50:08Speaker 1: got a lot of calls to make today. All I
- 50:10Speaker 1: want to know who did you vote for? You pick
- 50:13Speaker 1: me off? This is a completely racist call. I didn't
- 50:17Speaker 1: want to go there, but this is really really sick
- 50:20Speaker 1: and racist to call white people and say, oh, who
- 50:23Speaker 1: did you vote for? What you want to know if
- 50:25Speaker 1: I voted for somebody white or somebody black? Is that it?
- 50:28Speaker 1: Do you want to know? If I was a positive?
- 50:30Speaker 1: And you want to tell you it? Is done of
- 50:35Speaker 1: your business? Okay? So is racist? Is what it is? Sandy?
- 50:41Speaker 1: You and I can get along if you just give
- 50:44Speaker 1: me the answers that I'm looking for. Well, then you
- 50:46Speaker 1: and I are not gonna get along, and just get
- 50:49Speaker 1: used to that. Great great I'll tell you what. I'll
- 50:52Speaker 1: tell you what. The lady in your office named Wanda?
- 50:57Speaker 1: How do you know who's in my office? Who are you?
- 51:00Speaker 1: You know? How? No, Sandy, because Wanda got me to
- 51:06Speaker 1: playing phone call you. This is nephew taught me from
- 51:08Speaker 1: the steam Holly on this show. I am get her bad.

- 51:30Speaker 1: This is the whole office. She'd better watch her back. Well,
- 51:39Speaker 1: you got me, by the way, Tommy, just between you
- 51:45Speaker 1: and me, I voted for Gallup. Oh oh yes I did.

- 56:33Speaker 1: wait to say that that part a hold on tight.
- 56:38Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Thank you enough you subject. My old man is up
- 56:43Speaker 1: to some new tricks. Dear Stephen, Shirley, My husband and
- 56:46Speaker 1: I have been married for twenty five years and we
- 56:49Speaker 1: have a beautiful, blended family. We worked hard to provide
- 56:53Speaker 1: a great life for our children and we put them
- 56:55Speaker 1: all through college. Now that our last child has left home,
- 56:59Speaker 1: we are finally empty nesters. So we decided to downsize
- 57:02Speaker 1: on our house so we can travel and do the
- 57:04Speaker 1: things we enjoy. We found a nice, much smaller house
- 57:08Speaker 1: and my husband handled all of the financing and paperwork.
- 57:11Speaker 1: After we closed on the house, I found out that
- 57:14Speaker 1: my name was not on any of the paperwork. So
- 57:17Speaker 1: it is my husband's new house, but I did not
- 57:20Speaker 1: make a big deal out of it. Shortly after we
- 57:23Speaker 1: moved in, my husband started to change and I saw
- 57:26Speaker 1: a side of him that I had never seen before.
- 57:29Speaker 1: He was starting. He had started coming and going as
- 57:32Speaker 1: he pleases, and he stopped wearing his wedding ring. He
- 57:35Speaker 1: often sleeps in his man cape all night, leaving me
- 57:39Speaker 1: in our bed alone. He has a cell phone on
- 57:42Speaker 1: him at all times, and he barely talks to me now.
- 57:46Speaker 1: He goes to a jazz club every Friday, Saturday and
- 57:49Speaker 1: Sunday night, and he goes to the casino once a
- 57:52Speaker 1: week and spend spends hours there. Oh and I failed
- 57:56Speaker 1: to mention that he is sixty nine years old. I
- 57:59Speaker 1: am a Christian woman and I'm trying to do the
- 58:02Speaker 1: right thing in my marriage. But I feel like I
- 58:05Speaker 1: need to leave this man in his new house with
- 58:08Speaker 1: his new ways. Do you think he has another woman?
- 58:11Speaker 1: Maybe he wants to move me out and move her in.
- 58:14Speaker 1: What do you think I should do? Please? Help? Well?
- 58:18Speaker 1: I gotta commend you on you know, being able to
- 58:21Speaker 1: work hard and put all of your kids through college.
- 58:24Speaker 1: That is quite a feat, um, for for you guys
- 58:26Speaker 1: to be able to do that, and to say that,
- 58:28Speaker 1: and to answer your other question, Uh, do I think
- 58:31Speaker 1: he has another woman? Yes? I do think he has
- 58:34Speaker 1: another woman. I think that for sure. He His change
- 58:37Speaker 1: behavior is a clue and the fact that he is
- 58:39Speaker 1: sixty nine years old obviously means nothing to him or her. Uh.
- 58:44Speaker 1: He is behaving as a single man. And my question
- 58:48Speaker 1: to you is, uh, why haven't you said anything? Why
- 58:51Speaker 1: have you let it go on to this point? When
- 58:53Speaker 1: you found out that your name wasn't on the house,
- 58:56Speaker 1: you should have spoken up right then. You should have
- 58:58Speaker 1: said something immediately. Um, you know, what are you doing here?
- 59:01Speaker 1: I see that you let him do all the financing
- 59:04Speaker 1: and take care of everything, Um, because you trusted him.
- 59:07Speaker 1: And probably that's what you guys have been doing for
- 59:09Speaker 1: so long and you had nothing to worry about in
- 59:11Speaker 1: the past. But yeah, that that's a problem. And listen,
- 59:15Speaker 1: you mentioned that you're a Christian woman and you're trying
- 59:17Speaker 1: to do the right thing in your marriage. Just because
- 59:19Speaker 1: you're a Christian woman, it doesn't mean that you have
- 59:21Speaker 1: to be a doormat or anything like that. You have
- 59:23Speaker 1: to let him know that this is disrespectful and he
- 59:26Speaker 1: can't disrespect you like this. You have to speak up.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You have to find your voice and tell him that
- 59:32Speaker 1: what he's doing is wrong, and to get your name
- 59:34Speaker 1: on that house. And if he wants to leave, he
- 59:36Speaker 1: can leave or you can put him out. You can
- 59:38Speaker 1: do these things. Okay, just because you're a Christian woman
- 59:41Speaker 1: does not mean that you just have to lie down
- 59:44Speaker 1: and take it. Steve, Well, well, where playoff? Playoff? All right?
- 59:56Speaker 1: I've been together, been married twenty five years. You know,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: beautiful blended family, provided a great life for the kids.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: They're all in college. Everybody out of the house now,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: So y'all figured, y'all empty nests, so you're gonna downsize.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: So now y'all the downside. Moved into a smaller house,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: so y'all had money to do all this stuff you
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: want to do. He handled all the financing, and after
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: we close, you found out that your name wasn't on it. Now,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: so my husband has this new house. Shortly after you
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: moved in, you noticed the change. Now let's just start
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: right here. Now, let's go down to the bottom of
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: the letter. You said, do you think he has another woman?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Surely says yes, Well, let me show you some stuff.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: He don't wear a ring no more. He stopped sleeping
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: with you. He stay in his man cave all the time.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Now he got his cell phone on him at all times.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And he goes to a jazz club every Friday, Saturday
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and Sunday. Ain't that much damn good music. It just
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: really mean the same jazz club every Friday, said this Sunday?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Or is he telling you it's a jazz club. See,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: that's what it sounds like to me. It sounds to
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: me like he told you it's a jazz club. I
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: don't think he's going to a jazz club. I think
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: he do have somebody else. I think he told the woman.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I'm he told the woman, I'm gonna get you a
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: place to stay. I'm gonna get us a house. That's
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: what he told her. I'm gonna get us a house.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: So now I can almost guarantee you she has seen
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the paperwork on the house. He didn't told her. He
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: just buying time, Gotta get these kids that. Then it's
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: gonna be me and you. You see all this and
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: he ain't at the jazz club here at her house,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: buddy seven years old, goo sit down and watched the
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: same damn jazz man. Every damn ain't that seven same
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: damn jazz man. When we come back, I'm gonna show
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you what you are, all right, and we'll be back
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: at three after the hour right after this. You're listening, alright, Steve.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Here we are back with today's Strawberry Letters. Subject. My
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: old man is up to some new tricks. Let's recap
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: for the people. Oh okay, here's this woman, been married
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: to this man twenty five years. Beautiful, blended family, put
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: the kids in college. They're all out their empty nest
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: is now life is good downside. Smaller house, so y'all
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: can travel in all of that, right, okay? Cool? Now,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: all of a sudden, he don't sleep with you no more.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: All of a sudden, he don't wear his ring no more.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: All of a sudden he got a cell phone on
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: him at all time. He didn't put the house in
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: your in his name, not your, And he had the
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: jazz club. Baby Friday said this Sunday, you ain't on
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the paperwork. This is what's called the night move. Working
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: on the night move. This is a night move. And
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: he didn't done it. He'd just started coming and going
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: as he pleases. H and and he goes to the
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: casino once a week and spends hours there. He ain't
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: at the casino. Even you keep naming all these places
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you're gonna go because you're a Christian, you need to
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: start gambling. What Yeah, because she says she a Christian woman,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Christians gamble, Christian you need to go to the jazz club.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Ain't boat one, No, for real, you need to find
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: out what's happening here. You're saying, she ain't this and
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: all this sten you can find all this out. Now
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: listen to this. This man is gonna leave. It's clear
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: he's already checked out. Now let's talk about stuff you
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: since you're a Christian woman and I'm trying to do
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the right thing in my marriage, but I feel like
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I need to lead this man in his new house.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Well before you go, Christians, listen to James. Christians go
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: to casino. I'm a Christian. I go to casino all
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the time as a Christian. I down that trying hard
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: as I can to win my ties or stop. And
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: if you get out of here, y'all, don't don't stop me.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: This is my christian this is not your And let
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: me explain something to her. I'm just saying, I ain't.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: This is not a suggestion of Hey, what is calling
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: talking crazy? Wait? I have heard that's what I said, Carler,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: But why that's yeah, I'm just trying to wh I'm

- 1:08:54Speaker 1: need to go over the names we can't use. I
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: not on the list. That's all the list you need
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: to do over with the names clear. Did you ask

- 1:09:33Speaker 1: a fact not proven though, we'll talk about that right
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: after this. Jay you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Listen before we get to today's comedy segment from Jah Junior.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I gotta say thank you because you brought us breakfast
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: on Friday. You did from churches. We just want to
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: say because it was delicious honey in this box. Uh yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I had everything for y'all. You know, all white meat tenders,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: two sides of the biscuit just for five bucks, and

- 1:10:27Speaker 1: like this. Every fry cool? Thank you? Yeah. I got
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: chicken fried chicken fried chicken. I got hurt though, Shirley.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: It's only for five dollars for a lifted time, only

- 1:10:51Speaker 1: thank you, Junior. Yeah, good man, you'll eat everybody else
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: stuff lead a honey alone, okay, no sweets for all. Right,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: now it's time for today's comedy segment. It's called it's
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: a fact, but it's not proven. J Please explain. These
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: are facts, not scientifically proved, but they are definitely facts.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: They have not been proven, but they are facts. For instance,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: number one, if you buy a pair of shoes, one
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: shoe is gonna hurt is fact. Here we go. Fact
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: number two. The person who doesn't have any money will
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: be the first person to order and the last person
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: to tell you he don't have no money. That is fact.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: The oldest person in the car these are facts. These
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: are facts. The oldest person in the car will always
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: be the first person who has to pee. Yes, that's men,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: pull over. We just left empty water about it? Right?
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: If you're in a car and you lost, can't find
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: out where you're going, the radio must be turned down.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Is that a fact or what think? Yeah? Alright, Fact
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: number I haven't keeping calm. If you're in the drive through,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: the person in front of you seems like they're ordering
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: every damn thing in there. I don't know. Okay. Here's
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: another fact. If you get stopped by the police, the
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: person who ain't driving will do most of the talking,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: running their damn mouth. Everybody going to jail, they keep talking.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: I don't know, you don't know. I'm quiet, everybody. Yeah,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I don't know. It's two black dudes or everybody quiet.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: But if it's a woman in the car, where did
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: you put in him? Over the phone? Please be quiet.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: You ain't got to answer that. You ain't got to
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: answer that at all. Me ain't your daddy. Okay. Here's
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: another fact. I don't know why it is, but Africans
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: don't like being called blacks. But blacks don't have no
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: problem being called Africans. I'm not black. I'm not black, okay,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Man over Hill, that's what we do over here, That's
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: that's what we do. Here's another fact. I don't know
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: why these are facts. They've never been proven, but it's true.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Glitter can be spotted by a woman a mile away.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Here's another fact. It's harder to get off than make
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: How many times you, babe, you can't scrape it off?
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: You need a brush, man, you need something you need right.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Here's another fact. No matter how many times you go
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: over your list, check it, check it, check it, get
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: in the car to leave on the trip, you always
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: feel like you forgot something. My wife right there, that's
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: my wife. Here's another fact about what you missed. I
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: don't care how long unlesh you put together and go
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: to the grocery stove. You can't leave that without buying
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: something else. You never to the list. Yeah, OK, got shaft,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: don't say just see that? Man, get this juice? Look
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: at this A seven four? I don't even need it.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: That one more? You ever noticed? You never even noticed?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Never ever do you notice there's no tilet paper until
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: you sit down? Wow, you don't notice that? You don't
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: And the process and already started. Oh man, you got
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: to call somebody, don't you go? If you live by yourself.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I ain't got nobody called. I'm trying to kick this
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: thing to me. I had an upgrade it though, y'all,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: let me be o what you're saying? You had somebody?
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Are you doing good? No, I'm up to hit wipes
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: not you know what I'm saying because you can't say it. Yeah,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: all right, well, thank you guys. Up next to Pepin
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: time he's gonna talk about what else? Yesterday's games? It
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: was week ten in the n f L. Right after this,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: week ten of the NFL, and you know what time?
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: It is? All people people? You hear him? I don't
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: know me, nam that's the national I am. I was
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: singing that at all the games and I was winning everything,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: but everybody having the Peppers up. Pimpin. Ain't no happening
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: with you? Should hey? Pimpin some baby? How are you doing?
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I'm good? Thank you? How are you? I'm good? You're
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: stealing with the Mexican? H he's black? What's his name again?
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I like to do his name Mexican. My show was
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: up chogling what's happening to Pepper? How you doing? Everything? Good?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Everything good? What's what's up? Jake? You shop again? The
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: day is the game? Man? This when I told you
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I hold on. It was
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: up Junior having pimping by her with the voice. Anybody
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: can be a pimp. You got the most p p
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: baby's pimp potential you got on you? Yeah, the voice,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: it's up timing. What's up, pimper? No? No, no, no,

- 1:18:45Speaker 1: but don't mean coming on here trying to be me,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: because when you've been hating a little bit late, I've
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: been noticing. But I do have a question when you
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: when you come in here, where do you be coming from?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I don't see so far back in comes out of nowhere.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: You know what you're talking about? Wearing curve from look,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: come out of nowhere. I'm special, I'm gifted. Man. M

- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Obama went on to denounce Trump's birther campaign that questioned
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: her husband's citizenship, calling it bigoted and dangerous. For Michelle,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Obama is scheduled to have an exclusive interview with one
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Mr Steve Harvey tomorrow morning. That's right, right, Uh huh huh,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: that's exciting. Huh. Don't ask me why. It just just
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: called it Grace, yes, because yeah, she s all right.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: And the other entertainment news. Bruno Mars is making sure
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: that thousand people who live in Hawaii have a Thanksgiving
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: meal on their tables come November two. Bruno is donating
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: to the Salvation Armies Thanksgiving Dinner program. The number of
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: people who will benefit from Mars's donation comes from the
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: name of his song um album and yeah, twenty four
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Carrot and it's tour twenty four Magic, twenty four Carrot Magic. Okay,
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: so that's right, Yeah, that's really good. Huh. All right,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up next it is Steve with
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: today's closing remarks. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: stew all right here we are at the final break
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: of the day. With just one more thing. Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: What do you have for us today? Sir? Okay, Uh, today,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: I thought I'd talked to you about something with a
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: with a little bit different angle to it. Uh, it's
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: gonna be positive, but I want to talk to you
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: about something that many people consider negative. I want to
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: talk to you today about disappointment because I think that
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: we all have to grapple with disappointment from time to time. Um.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: The problem with disappointment is that disappointment also if you
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: don't understand it, disappointment can turn so ugly so fast.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Too many people allow disappointment to turn into resentment. Too
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: many people allow disappointment to turn into a final uh verdict,
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: so to speak. In other words, you know, so many
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: people think that this disappointment, uh, for them, symbolizes the end.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: When you allow for disappointment to turn into resentment, and
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: you allow disappointment to turn into the final verdict, you're
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: losing what disappointment actually can become for you. And I
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: want you all to start looking at disappointment as motivation.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: How many times have you been facing with something that
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: was disappointing. Let's say you go in to get a
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: job and you on your last interview, and I have
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: been in this position. Man. I was trying to get
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: an insurance job one time years ago, and I went
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: in and I had gotten going through about three or
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: four interviews. I was at my final interview and I said, Man,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I'm about to get this job. Man, get my little
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: family together. I'll be all right. And got to that
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: interview and they told me no. And the reason they
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: gave me for not hiring was I had moved too
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: many times over the past seven years and that represented
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: it to their company, a sign of unstable nous. That
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: disappointment for me was gut wrenching. I actually got in
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: my car a little seventy to Chevy and I was
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: driving off Man and and tears was in my eyes.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: When I got up on the freeway and I drove
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: back and I looked back over at that big building
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: with that big powerful name on it, and I had
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: gone through four interviews and I and all of a sudden,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: I was so disappointed and not got getting hired. But
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: you know what I learned to do though, from that
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: moment on, I turned all my disappointment into motivation. I said, Okay, now,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: this might not be right for everybody, but I use
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: it as a challenge. I use all my disappointments as okay,
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: I'll show you. I use them all this motivation. From
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: the time my teacher told me that you ain't gonna
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: never be nothing, that there's no way they'll put somebody
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: like you on TV because you have a stuttering problem
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: and you can't even talk. I said, okay, but who
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: are you who is issuing out this disappointment? Because you're
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: not gonna make me resent you and you're not gonna
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: cause me to think that you're denying me this opportunity.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Are you handing me this bad news of disappointment. I'm
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: not going to allow you to be my final verdict.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: You will not be the truth teller in my life.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: You are not going to be the person who who
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: are who is the author of my destiny? You are
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: not it that belongs to God, not you, and I
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: will not give that to anyone. So when you're facing disappointment,
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: do not hand that disappointment over to the person who
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: gave it to you in the form of empowerment. Do
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: not allow them to to to control your destiny with
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: this one piece of disappointment that causes you to go
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: into such resentment that you become bitter that all of
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: a sudden, now all you think about is that, and
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: you be getting you developed this nasty attitude. You don't
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: have to do that, and you also don't have to
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: let them become the final verdict. They are not the
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: author of your destiny. They are not the author of
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: your future. They are not that belongs to God and
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: only God. Don't let them trip you up. And I'm
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: saying this because I've had many, many, many disappointments. You
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: ain't this. You ain't that. I've had shows, counseled, gigs taken,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: I've been fired from radio, I've been all in all,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: I've had some disappointing setbacks. But let me tell you
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: something I've learned to do. I've learned to take all
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: those setbacks and use them as motivation. And I just
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: quietly say to myself, you ain't my God, You ain't
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: the author of my destiny. You didn't create me, You
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: don't know me. You you have no say so in
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: the real outcome of who I'm going to be and
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: what I'm going to turn myself into. You who think
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: you have the power by telling me no, by refusing me,
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: by voting against me, by saying that I'm not the
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: right one for the part, by telling me that I
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: represent an unstable person, by telling me that I don't
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: have what it takes. No, no, no, no, noll. It's
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: just because you don't know, because you don't know what
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: God really has for me, and that ain't your fault.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: So why bear resentment for these people who are causing
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: this disappointment in your life? You don't have to do
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: that because they are not the author of your destiny.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: And don't you dad give them that. You take that
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: disappointment and you use it as the motivation. I feel
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: sorry for people who tell me no, because you know
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: what I know. I know they just don't know what
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: God has for me. And I end up somehow through
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: God's grace and mercy showing them all. Keep the right attitude, y'all.
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: God got something for you through all your disappointment. Y'all
