Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Trump’s Path to ‘Total Victory’ on Iran Backed by the People
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: It is a real war and also a war of words.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Right now, as Iran Supreme leader warns Israel, quote the
- 0:10Speaker 2: battle begins. Hours after Donald Trump also called for the
- 0:14Speaker 2: unconditional surrender of the nuclear.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Program in Iran. Now, the Iranian.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Supreme Leader the Iatola, declaring the battle begins in a
- 0:23Speaker 2: post hours after the President said We're not backing down,
- 0:27Speaker 2: and the name of hot Air, the battle begins. Allah
- 0:31Speaker 2: returns and We're not backing down. That's basically a synopsis
- 0:36Speaker 2: of what Iran's repetition of their rhetoric is.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Hour after hour after hour. Now.
- 0:43Speaker 2: The leader's sinister message comes after the Islamic Republic state
- 0:47Speaker 2: media also warned of a surprise on Tuesday night and
- 0:52Speaker 2: a Wednesday that the world will remember for centuries.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Their response.
- 0:58Speaker 2: The Iran leader addressed nation in a television broadcast in
- 1:02Speaker 2: which he pushed back against Trump's threats, saying is people
- 1:05Speaker 2: don't surrender, saying quote, intelligent people who know Iran, the
- 1:10Speaker 2: Iranian nation and its history will never speak to the
- 1:13Speaker 2: nation in threatening language because the Iranian nation will not surrender.
- 1:18Speaker 2: The Americans should know that any US military intervention will
- 1:21Speaker 2: undoubtedly be accompanied by irreputable damage now, the Israeli Defense
- 1:26Speaker 2: Force has reported multiple air raid sirens in northern Israel
- 1:30Speaker 2: early Wednesday due to a hostile aircraft infiltration quote unquote,
- 1:35Speaker 2: as they described it, sirens were heard and then go
- 1:39Speaker 2: on heights before the IDF announced it shot down three
- 1:43Speaker 2: Iranian drones. The Times of Israel is reporting now now
- 1:47Speaker 2: Iran launched two barrages of about thirty missiles total at
- 1:51Speaker 2: Israel Wednesday morning, and there was explosions that were.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Heard over Tel Aviv.
- 1:55Speaker 2: The IDF says a majority of the missiles were intercepted
- 1:59Speaker 2: and no injuries were rested. According to the outlet, fifty
- 2:02Speaker 2: Israeli fighter jets also flew to Iran to fire missiles
- 2:06Speaker 2: at a centerfuge production site and multiple weapons manufacturing facilities
- 2:11Speaker 2: around the Iranian capital. That is significant because yet again
- 2:15Speaker 2: it proves the point that the US and Israeli said
- 2:19Speaker 2: that they have total dominance over the airspace of Iran.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Fifty Israeli fighter jets are being used, just to be clear,
- 2:27Speaker 2: virtually at the same time, and these strikes directly degrade
- 2:32Speaker 2: Iran's ability to threaten Israel and the region. That is
- 2:35Speaker 2: what the Defense Forces account said on social media coming
- 2:39Speaker 2: out of Israel. Now, the IDEF says a majority of
- 2:42Speaker 2: the missiles were intercepted in no injuries like I said
- 2:44Speaker 2: were reported, as more rockets were fired into Israel. And
- 2:50Speaker 2: these strikes that they did in Iran were clearly not
- 2:53Speaker 2: going after civilians. They were going after these hard military targets.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Now Israeli a.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Few bish has also issued an evacuation warning for Iranian
- 3:03Speaker 2: residents living in southwestern Tehran in anticipation of another strike,
- 3:09Speaker 2: yet again trying to minimize the amount of civilian casualties.
- 3:13Speaker 1: That is something that Iran would never do.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Iran state news website claimed Israel had attacked several targets,
- 3:19Speaker 2: including a university in the east of Iran that is
- 3:22Speaker 2: linked to its Revolutionary Guard and their ballistic missile facility
- 3:27Speaker 2: near Tehran. Israel set had struck key elements of Iran's
- 3:31Speaker 2: nuclear weapons and missile programs during an overnight attack on
- 3:34Speaker 2: Tehran as well. Now we also know that the Supreme
- 3:38Speaker 2: Leader's ex account has been publishing propaganda posters featuring Iranian
- 3:42Speaker 2: missiles being launched at Israel and fireballs raining down on.
- 3:47Speaker 1: The Jewish state killing innocent people.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yes, that's their propaganda, Like we're going to kill all
- 3:51Speaker 2: of you, women and children.
- 3:53Speaker 1: But that's what Iran does. They have said it clearly.
- 3:55Speaker 2: They want to annihilate Israel and they want to get
- 3:58Speaker 2: rid of them from the river to see. They want
- 4:01Speaker 2: every Jewish person to die. Now you look at the
- 4:04Speaker 2: opposite of that in Israel's like, we're going to attack
- 4:06Speaker 2: over here, so civilians please leave. You think about the
- 4:09Speaker 2: difference in those two just mindsets. It's totally mind boggling
- 4:14Speaker 2: that anyone at this point would not be understanding and
- 4:17Speaker 2: backing Israel, and yet there are many who are not.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Now the Middle Eastern conflict is now entering. It's what
- 4:24Speaker 2: six six and a half days began when Israel launched
- 4:27Speaker 2: an Operation Rising Line, in which it attacks Iran's nuclear
- 4:31Speaker 2: plants and uranium enrichment facilities. Israeli forces have wiped out
- 4:37Speaker 2: Iran's air defenses virtually all together, giving them airspace superiority.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And Trump announced the majority of Iran's air defense systems
- 4:45Speaker 2: had been eliminated, and he said there will be more
- 4:49Speaker 2: details to come. So you put all of this breaking
- 4:52Speaker 2: news together, and the President said this quote, we now
- 4:56Speaker 2: have complete and total control of the skies of Iran.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Iran had good skytrackers and other defensive equipment and plenty
- 5:04Speaker 2: of it. But it doesn't compare to American made, conceived,
- 5:08Speaker 2: and manufactured stuff. That's what Trump wrote one social saying, quote,
- 5:12Speaker 2: nobody does it better than the good old USA. The
- 5:16Speaker 2: US Commander in chief also called for that unconditional surrender
- 5:20Speaker 2: on Tuesday afternoon.
- 5:21Speaker 1: As he revealed the US knows.
- 5:23Speaker 2: The location of Iran supreme leader, and so we could
- 5:26Speaker 2: take you out at any moment we want to.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Iran said it would.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Respond quote firmly if the US became directly involved in
- 5:34Speaker 2: the conflict with Israel. We also know that the White
- 5:37Speaker 2: House has said, now there's a very good chance that
- 5:40Speaker 2: we may join the fight with Israel to go after
- 5:43Speaker 2: Iran's nuclear site, the one that is deep down underneath
- 5:46Speaker 2: in essence a mountain, And we have the technology and
- 5:51Speaker 2: the aircraft to drop those bunker busting bombs that Israel
- 5:55Speaker 2: doesn't have. Now, all of this brings me to a
- 5:59Speaker 2: moment that happened been in the White House moments ago,
- 6:03Speaker 2: and moments ago, the President was asked a question about
- 6:07Speaker 2: these tensions and this story, and I want you to
- 6:09Speaker 2: listen to what he said.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Contributed to that change. How you got to where you
- 6:14Speaker 1: are and making your decision now, Well, I think it
- 6:16Speaker 1: started the first night. I mean, you know, the first
- 6:18Speaker 1: night was devastating.
- 6:20Speaker 3: And it really knocked the one side office, you know, devastating,
- 6:27Speaker 3: devastating evening day, and pretty much proceeded that way. I
- 6:32Speaker 3: have a meeting in the war roam in a little
- 6:35Speaker 3: while situation room to some people call it. So we're
- 6:40Speaker 3: going to meet, We're going to see. We're in the
- 6:41Speaker 3: midst of it. It's a terrible thing. I hate to
- 6:44Speaker 3: see it. I hate to see all that death. It's
- 6:45Speaker 3: so much death and destruction, but death primarily is what
- 6:49Speaker 3: I hate to see. Does that mean you haven't made
- 6:51Speaker 3: a decision yet.
- 6:52Speaker 1: On what to do.
- 6:54Speaker 3: I have ideas as to what to do, but I
- 6:56Speaker 3: haven't made a final I like to make the final
- 6:58Speaker 3: decision one second before, you know, because things change, I mean,
- 7:02Speaker 3: especially with war. Things changed with war can go from
- 7:05Speaker 3: one extreme to the other. Wars was very bad. There
- 7:09Speaker 3: was no reason for this to be a war. There
- 7:10Speaker 3: was no reason for Russia Ukraine a lot of wars.
- 7:14Speaker 3: There was no reason for you look right up there.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I don't know how to see the declaration of independence,
- 7:19Speaker 3: and I say, I wonder if you, you know, the
- 7:22Speaker 3: Civil War always seemed to me maybe that could have
- 7:25Speaker 3: been solved without losing six hundred thousand plus people.
- 7:31Speaker 1: So there's a lot to unpack there.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Number One, President Trump says Iran wants to visit him
- 7:35Speaker 2: at the White House and he might actually let them.
- 7:37Speaker 2: That is a huge development, especially after what I told
- 7:41Speaker 2: you the Supreme Leader was saying.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And then you may ask the question, why is.
- 7:44Speaker 2: The Supreme Leader saying all the things he's saying if
- 7:47Speaker 2: in fact they're begging to meet with the President of
- 7:48Speaker 2: United States of America, right it's a great question. It's
- 7:51Speaker 2: because they're also having to protect themselves against.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Their own people.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Their own people they're afraid could overthrow their government.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And right now they are weaker than they've been in.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Probably decades, because now the people understand they're actually not
- 8:09Speaker 2: safe and that their government is much weaker than they
- 8:12Speaker 2: imagined before. You think about when the President said to
- 8:15Speaker 2: the people of Tehran, you need to evacuate, and literally
- 8:18Speaker 2: millions left.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So that's part one.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Some of this is self preservation for the Supreme Leader
- 8:26Speaker 2: and propaganda to control their people. The second thing the
- 8:29Speaker 2: President said is when he said look, I'm going to
- 8:31Speaker 2: be meeting with my National Security Council in the situation.
- 8:33Speaker 1: In one hour.
- 8:34Speaker 2: That also sends a signal to Ran like you're running
- 8:37Speaker 2: out of time. In other words, we're moving forward on
- 8:39Speaker 2: what could really be an attack on your nuclear site.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And that could also weaken the regime as well, because
- 8:48Speaker 2: the people there would then lose pride in their supreme
- 8:51Speaker 2: leader and realize that their supreme leader really is put
- 8:54Speaker 2: them in a very bad situation. It also could make
- 8:57Speaker 2: them run to the table even faster. We have to
- 9:00Speaker 2: see how that ends up. And then finally Trump says
- 9:03Speaker 2: he doesn't want war. He's working towards peace. He clearly
- 9:07Speaker 2: doesn't want war. That's what he's been saying since the
- 9:10Speaker 2: very beginning. And remember that's what he said for sixty
- 9:12Speaker 2: days in a row when Iran refused to come to
- 9:15Speaker 2: the table. His final moment that he said was no
- 9:18Speaker 2: decision on action has been made yet keyword yet. So
- 9:23Speaker 2: the President seems to be playing two games right now.
- 9:26Speaker 2: One negotiating possibly with Iran to dial all this back,
- 9:29Speaker 2: and two what we may need to do to go
- 9:32Speaker 2: after their nuclear site. I want to also make sure
- 9:35Speaker 2: you guys remember hit that subscribe auto download button and
- 9:39Speaker 2: share this podcast on your social media wherever you're listening
- 9:42Speaker 2: right now. We've also had so many of you that
- 9:45Speaker 2: have asked the question, how can I help people in Israel?
- 9:48Speaker 2: And we've been telling you about the International Fellowship of
- 9:50Speaker 2: Christians and Jews and the work they are doing is incredible.
- 9:53Speaker 2: They are deploying bomb shelters as we speak to help
- 9:57Speaker 2: keep people safe in Israel when things get bad, that
- 10:01Speaker 2: is when they step up and protect families and loved ones.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And if you want to get involved and stand with
- 10:08Speaker 2: the people in Israel right now, you can do it
- 10:11Speaker 2: by giving food and shelter to Jewish families that are
- 10:13Speaker 2: under threat. As I said, they're building bomb shelters for children,
- 10:18Speaker 2: They're helping survivors of the attacks that we're witnessing right now,
- 10:22Speaker 2: and they are doing it daily. Your gift of only
- 10:25Speaker 2: forty five dollars will help support life saving work by
- 10:29Speaker 2: providing food, shelter, and so much more. I was speaking
- 10:33Speaker 2: with the CEO of IFCJ and she was talking about
- 10:36Speaker 2: just how hard it is for so many families in
- 10:39Speaker 2: Israel right now and what they're doing on the ground
- 10:42Speaker 2: and the bomb shelters that are needed, and she said
- 10:44Speaker 2: very simply, if you can help stand with the people
- 10:47Speaker 2: in Israel that are under attack. They are doing everything
- 10:50Speaker 2: they can to support them and to give the bomb
- 10:53Speaker 2: shelters that are needed. So step up and help right
- 10:57Speaker 2: now if you can at all eight eight eight four
- 10:59Speaker 2: eight eight IFCJ.
- 11:01Speaker 1: That's eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five.
- 11:05Speaker 2: You can also give online at IFCJ dot org.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Every dollar helps, don't wait.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Be the difference IFCJ dot org or eight eight eight
- 11:16Speaker 2: four eight eight IFCJ. I also want to bring in
- 11:20Speaker 2: another aspect of this conversation and some of the debate
- 11:23Speaker 2: here in the US. Many of you have probably seen
- 11:26Speaker 2: what I would refer to is nothing more than a
- 11:30Speaker 2: hit job ass type interview that Tucker Carlson did with
- 11:35Speaker 2: Ted Kruz, and a lot of people have been texting
- 11:37Speaker 2: me like what's happening.
- 11:38Speaker 1: With Tuger Carlson. I have no idea.
- 11:42Speaker 2: What I do know is Tucker Carlson is a full
- 11:45Speaker 2: blown isolationist. He's an apologist for by the way, like
- 11:48Speaker 2: Vladimir Putin, he put out like state sponsored propaganda going
- 11:53Speaker 2: to the grocery store in Russia and doing that interview
- 11:57Speaker 2: and what was also very interesting about the interview, Like
- 12:00Speaker 2: I would have loved to have seen that type of
- 12:02Speaker 2: energy when he was interviewing Vitimir Putin instead.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Of Ted Cruz.
- 12:06Speaker 2: But what you're witnessing right now is there some people
- 12:08Speaker 2: like Tucker that want to be this like isolation, just
- 12:12Speaker 2: like everything outside of America's borders doesn't matter. And I'm like,
- 12:15Speaker 2: I wish it was that simple. I wish you could
- 12:17Speaker 2: just be that simplistic as a human being and say, oh,
- 12:20Speaker 2: everybody else in the world can do whatever they want
- 12:22Speaker 2: and it doesn't affect us, and we just shouldn't be involved,
- 12:25Speaker 2: and we should all just look the other way. And
- 12:28Speaker 2: that's that's just kumbayat right, Like that's the Tucker Carlson
- 12:31Speaker 2: foreign policy.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It's very dangerous.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I posted a video earlier of the parliament in Iran
- 12:40Speaker 2: burning an American flag in at the front.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Of the room and chanting not only.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That they wanted to kill America, they wanted nuke America,
- 12:50Speaker 2: but channing death to America on top of all of that, right, Like,
- 12:54Speaker 2: the Iranian parliament and the NPS literally are burning the
- 12:57Speaker 2: American flag well, channing death to America. And then they
- 12:59Speaker 2: threaten to you's a nuclear bomb against the American homewin,
- 13:02Speaker 2: not American interests in the Middle least the American home win.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I will say it again. Believe then when they start chanting.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Death to America, like this is it, folks, that's the
- 13:24Speaker 2: enchanting death to America.
- 13:26Speaker 1: In their language, Like I want you to go watch
- 13:28Speaker 1: this video. I want you to.
- 13:29Speaker 2: See the faces of these radicals. I want you to
- 13:34Speaker 2: listen and watch them burn this American flag as they
- 13:39Speaker 2: look like, you know, the most psychotic people you've ever seen.
- 13:43Speaker 2: They want to kill America. They want to kill Americans.
- 13:47Speaker 2: They want us to die in a nuclear attack. They're
- 13:50Speaker 2: saying it, And you also have to look at who's
- 13:54Speaker 2: backing around, like Russia loves them, China loves them, by
- 13:59Speaker 2: the way, they love for them to fill the vacuum
- 14:01Speaker 2: in the world is their allies. They would absolutely love that.
- 14:05Speaker 2: But this is what they're they're saying. And yet Tucker
- 14:08Speaker 2: Carlson's sitting there going, oh, well, hold on a second,
- 14:10Speaker 2: like we don't want any of this, right, we just
- 14:13Speaker 2: want to look the other way.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Now.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I've said this before and I'll say it again. I
- 14:16Speaker 2: don't want to invade Iran. I don't think we can
- 14:19Speaker 2: nation build in the Middle East. I don't think we
- 14:21Speaker 2: can export democracy like I thought we could have to
- 14:23Speaker 2: nine to eleven, that people would be so happy we're
- 14:25Speaker 2: in Afghanistan, in Iraq and they would send it for themselves.
- 14:27Speaker 2: That clearly doesn't work. My foreign policy has changed. I
- 14:30Speaker 2: was wrong, then you learn from your mistakes. I am
- 14:33Speaker 2: not in favored nation building. I'm not in favor of
- 14:35Speaker 2: seeing American troops to Iran. I want to make that clear.
- 14:38Speaker 2: What I am in favor of is making sure the
- 14:40Speaker 2: people that are there in leadership don't have the chance
- 14:42Speaker 2: to kill innocent Americans in this country with a nuclear weapon,
- 14:47Speaker 2: or Israel for that matter, or American interest in the
- 14:49Speaker 2: Middle East. And yet Tucker Carlson's out there and he
- 14:53Speaker 2: put out this like just a really nasty video of
- 14:58Speaker 2: him going after Ted Cruz my coast, by the way,
- 15:02Speaker 2: And I'm going to defend him because I believe that
- 15:04Speaker 2: this was just so classless where he's like, well, do
- 15:07Speaker 2: you know the population in Iran? Wait, you don't know
- 15:11Speaker 2: the population, by the way. I mean my response, Tuckers,
- 15:13Speaker 2: do you know any people live in your neighborhood? Do
- 15:15Speaker 2: you know people live in the town that you live in.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Do you know any people live in Russia? When you
- 15:19Speaker 2: were doing propaganda for Vladimir Putin literally in Russia, interviewing
- 15:24Speaker 2: him and then going to the grocery store putting on
- 15:27Speaker 2: a propaganda video on behalf of Russia, like the I
- 15:29Speaker 2: got you type questions is just such white trash And
- 15:33Speaker 2: it's such narcissism from Tucker Carlson. It really is sad
- 15:37Speaker 2: and disappointing that he's doing this now. Tucker's also like
- 15:41Speaker 2: gone against Donald Trump now and apparently he's feeling the
- 15:45Speaker 2: heat and he's licking his wounds now.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And I want you to hear what.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Donald Trump had to say at the Oval Office when
- 15:49Speaker 2: he was asked about not only this like just totally
- 15:53Speaker 2: classless interview with Taker. He's like Ted Cruz is not
- 15:55Speaker 2: your enemy, Tucker, but it's like Tucker against the world,
- 15:59Speaker 2: and WIGN policy is dangerous, which is just put blinders on,
- 16:03Speaker 2: only look at America and no one and let the
- 16:05Speaker 2: rest of the world burn. And America should not be
- 16:07Speaker 2: involved anywhere else around the world. And if you don't
- 16:09Speaker 2: know the population of Iran, then you shouldn't have an
- 16:13Speaker 2: opinion on what's happening Rand By the way, I don't
- 16:15Speaker 2: know the population Ran I know now because this stupid interview,
- 16:18Speaker 2: but the idea that my foreign policy is not authentic
- 16:22Speaker 2: or real if I don't know the population of a country,
- 16:26Speaker 2: I mean I would have asked Tucker this question, Hey,
- 16:28Speaker 2: do you know what the population was in Germany when
- 16:30Speaker 2: Adolf Hitler was in charge? Well, if you don't know
- 16:33Speaker 2: that population, you're saying that we shouldn't have stopped Hitler?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Is that what you're telling me? Like it's insanity.
- 16:38Speaker 2: But listen to Tucker now backtracking because he's realizing, oh wait,
- 16:41Speaker 2: I may have gone too far.
- 16:44Speaker 4: The Tucker Girls and Senator Tuchfreus interview. It seems like
- 16:46Speaker 4: this issue on whether or not the United States should
- 16:48Speaker 4: strike is kind of dividing a lot.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Of your supporters.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Uh no, my supporters are for me. My supporters are
- 16:56Speaker 3: America first. They make America great again. My supporters don't
- 17:00Speaker 3: want to see around have a nuclear weapon. Tucker's a
- 17:03Speaker 3: nice guy. He called and apologized the other day because
- 17:06Speaker 3: he thought he said things that were too strong, and
- 17:10Speaker 3: I appreciated that. And Ted Cruz is a nice guy.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I mean, he's been with me for a whole time.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I'd say once the race was over, he's been with
- 17:16Speaker 3: me ever since.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But very simple.
- 17:21Speaker 3: If they think that it's okay for Iran to have
- 17:24Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon, and then they should oppose me. But
- 17:27Speaker 3: nobody thinks it's okay.
- 17:29Speaker 1: And by the way, Trump wasn't done there.
- 17:31Speaker 2: He also talked about his conversation he had with Tucker
- 17:35Speaker 2: Carlson to the media as well.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Take a listen to what he said.
- 17:39Speaker 3: And it's interesting because I did ask Tucker. I said, well,
- 17:42Speaker 3: are you okay with nuclear weapons being in the hands
- 17:46Speaker 3: of Iran? And he sort of didn't like that. He
- 17:49Speaker 3: didn't want to really, but he sort of didn't like that.
- 17:51Speaker 3: And I said, well, if if it's okay with you,
- 17:55Speaker 3: then you and I do have a difference. But it's
- 17:58Speaker 3: really not okay with him. Therefore, you may have to fight,
- 18:02Speaker 3: and maybe it'll land, and maybe it'll land very quickly.
- 18:05Speaker 3: But there's no way that you can allow, whether you
- 18:07Speaker 3: have to fight or not, you can allow Ran to
- 18:10Speaker 3: have an opener weapon because the entire world will blow up.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Not gonna let that happening. He had a bit of
- 18:17Speaker 3: a row with the President of Manuel Man.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I go back to yesterday, I was doing an interview
- 18:24Speaker 2: on Newsation Chris Clomo's show, and he asked me a
- 18:27Speaker 2: question trying to pit me against Steve Bannon and Tucker
- 18:32Speaker 2: and others, and I said, you know, it's funny. This
- 18:34Speaker 2: is going to be a blip on the radar screen.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I think I support President Trump and what he decides
- 18:38Speaker 2: to do here, especially if he goes after this nuclear side.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I'm in favor of going after this nuclear side. I
- 18:43Speaker 2: want to be clear about that. I'm not in favor
- 18:45Speaker 2: of invasion. I'm not in favor of boots on the ground.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And Tucker Carlson, of course, would just lose his mind
- 18:49Speaker 2: if if we were having a conversation right now over
- 18:51Speaker 2: me saying that. But I said, if you think I'm
- 18:54Speaker 2: going to like go to war with my own team
- 18:57Speaker 2: over this, I'm not. I know Steve Banner, we don't
- 19:00Speaker 2: agree on everything. I have a lot of respect for Steve,
- 19:02Speaker 2: Steve and our friends. Steve and I had dinner recently,
- 19:05Speaker 2: we chat often, had him on my show recently. And
- 19:09Speaker 2: this idea that there's some massive divide within MAGA.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I think is a farce.
- 19:14Speaker 2: And I think when President Trump said I did ask
- 19:15Speaker 2: Tucker are you okay with nuclear weapons being the hands
- 19:18Speaker 2: of Iran? And he didn't like that. I said, if
- 19:20Speaker 2: it's okay with you, then then you and I have
- 19:23Speaker 2: a difference. Right, It's okay, we can disagree. But this
- 19:28Speaker 2: idea that we should just put on blinders and let
- 19:32Speaker 2: the rest of the world burn that didn't work too
- 19:34Speaker 2: well in World War Two, by the way, and we
- 19:36Speaker 2: were like, we're not getting involved, We're not get involved.
- 19:37Speaker 2: We're not getting involved, we're not getting involved. But how
- 19:39Speaker 2: did that work out for us? It didn't work out
- 19:41Speaker 2: very well.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You know.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You look at the Iranian military put out a video
- 19:46Speaker 2: on X and you should look at it. I reposted
- 19:48Speaker 2: on X You can follow me there at Ben Ferguson's show.
- 19:52Speaker 2: But they put out a video and it's like a
- 19:54Speaker 2: It almost.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Looks like an animated movie video.
- 19:56Speaker 2: It says there's a surprise of night that the world
- 19:58Speaker 2: will remember for many trees. And in this video, it
- 20:02Speaker 2: shows them attacking with a massive barrage of rockets inter
- 20:07Speaker 2: ballistic missiles flying across the world and it looks like
- 20:10Speaker 2: it's hitting America, and it says justice will be served,
- 20:13Speaker 2: and then it shows what looks like an American with
- 20:16Speaker 2: rocks of a building coming down on them, and then
- 20:19Speaker 2: you know their soldier coming in with their sword.
- 20:21Speaker 1: To behead him.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I guess, and it says shadow of a boss like
- 20:26Speaker 2: this is what they believe. They are radical Islamic terrorists,
- 20:32Speaker 2: they support radical Islamic terrorism. There is a video of
- 20:36Speaker 2: what looks like to me suicide bombers and a boat
- 20:39Speaker 2: going after one of our aircraft carriers. And so I
- 20:43Speaker 2: look at all of this, how I'll go back to
- 20:47Speaker 2: just isolationism and Tucker Carlson doing the one to eighty here,
- 20:50Speaker 2: let me go back to the Atlantic in February twenty
- 20:54Speaker 2: second twenty in February of twenty twelve. February twenty second
- 20:57Speaker 2: of twenty twelve, this is the headline Tucker Carlson, Iran
- 21:01Speaker 2: deserves to be annihilated. My question for Tucker is what changed?
- 21:05Speaker 2: What changed between then and now?
- 21:07Speaker 1: What changed? I want to know what changed.
- 21:12Speaker 2: We're getting new breaking news and this is moving very
- 21:15Speaker 2: quickly with what's happening between Iran, Israel, and now the
- 21:19Speaker 2: United States of America, with a new statement that has
- 21:21Speaker 2: just come out from Donald Trump saying, quote, we.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Don't want a long term war with Iran.
- 21:27Speaker 2: President Donald Trump, making it clear that the administration is
- 21:31Speaker 2: not looking for long term war. In a second statement,
- 21:34Speaker 2: Trump addressing concerns among members of the Make America Greatagan
- 21:38Speaker 2: base that the United States would be pulled into a
- 21:41Speaker 2: quote long term war while filling a question from the media.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Take a listen to his own words outside of the
- 21:49Speaker 2: White House.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Some of the people in the base don't want a
- 21:52Speaker 5: long term war. They're afraid that we're going to get
- 21:54Speaker 5: into a long term. What you want for a long term,
- 21:55Speaker 5: but we're looking to Earth. It's only I only want
- 21:58Speaker 5: one thing. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
- 22:00Speaker 1: That's it.
- 22:01Speaker 6: I'm not looking long term structure. And I've been saying
- 22:03Speaker 6: that for twenty years. I've been saying that there's a
- 22:05Speaker 6: civilian who got a lot of publicity. People would cover
- 22:08Speaker 6: it very simply. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, So it's.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Not a question of anything else.
- 22:14Speaker 6: And if you did, you wouldn't have much of a
- 22:16Speaker 6: country because they would.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Use it on us, and they'd use it on other people,
- 22:19Speaker 1: and they'd be a terror all over the world.
- 22:22Speaker 2: We're not looking for long term more. I only want
- 22:24Speaker 2: one thing. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
- 22:28Speaker 1: That is it.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Very simply, he said in another interview, Iran cannot have
- 22:32Speaker 2: a nuclear weapon.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It's not a question of anything else.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And if you did, you wouldn't have much of a
- 22:38Speaker 2: country because they would use it on us and use
- 22:41Speaker 2: it on other.
- 22:42Speaker 1: People, and they'd be a tear all over the world.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Trump notally tweeted back in twenty eleven, before he even
- 22:49Speaker 2: enter the political world, that quote, I Ran cannot have
- 22:52Speaker 2: a nuclear weapon and has been firm and it stands
- 22:55Speaker 2: throughout his political career and his presidential campaign in twenty
- 22:59Speaker 2: twenty four. If you go back to the doctrine of
- 23:02Speaker 2: Donald Trump, look at November fourth, twenty eleven, his exact tweet,
- 23:07Speaker 2: Iran's quest for nuclear weapons is a major threat to
- 23:10Speaker 2: our nation's national security interests. We cannot allow Ran to
- 23:15Speaker 2: go nuclear. That was before he was running for any office.
- 23:19Speaker 2: In fact, that's actually when he was a Democrat. Trump
- 23:22Speaker 2: notably gave Iran a sixty day deadline that expired on Thursday,
- 23:27Speaker 2: June twelfth to make a deal to end its nuclear program,
- 23:31Speaker 2: and then on Friday, Israel began striking Iranian nuclear sites,
- 23:35Speaker 2: military leaders, and refineries. Trump declared tuesday, quote, we have
- 23:41Speaker 2: complete and total control of the skies of Iran and
- 23:44Speaker 2: revealed his team new the exact location of the leader
- 23:48Speaker 2: of Iran. When asked Wednesday if the US was moving
- 23:51Speaker 2: closer to striking Iranian nuclear sites, here is what Trump
- 23:55Speaker 2: said about that about whether.
- 23:57Speaker 1: You are moving closer?
- 23:59Speaker 2: You believe you at this moving closer to striking Iranian
- 24:02Speaker 2: nuclear facilities.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Where's your mindset on that? You say that?
- 24:05Speaker 3: Right?
- 24:06Speaker 6: You don't seriously think I'm going to answer that. Will
- 24:09Speaker 6: you strike the Iranian nuclear component?
- 24:12Speaker 1: And what time exactly, sir, sir? Would you strike it?
- 24:16Speaker 6: Would you please inform U.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So we can be there and watch. I mean, you
- 24:20Speaker 1: don't know that I'm going to even do it. You
- 24:22Speaker 1: don't know. I may do it, I may not do it.
- 24:23Speaker 6: I mean, nobody knows what I'm going to do.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I can tell you this that.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Iram's got a lot of trouble and they want to negotiate.
- 24:32Speaker 6: And I said, why didn't you negotiate with me before
- 24:34Speaker 6: all this death and destruction? Why didn't you nego? I
- 24:37Speaker 6: said to the people, why didn't you negotiate with me
- 24:40Speaker 6: two weeks ago?
- 24:42Speaker 1: You could have done fine. You would have had a country.
- 24:46Speaker 6: It's very sad to watch this I mean, I've never
- 24:49Speaker 6: said anything like it, so you neveryone thought it was
- 24:52Speaker 6: going to be the reverse.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 24:53Speaker 6: I didn't think so. And they're telling him, you got
- 24:55Speaker 6: to you got to do something, you got to negotiate.
- 24:58Speaker 6: And at the end last week and that they said, no,
- 25:00Speaker 6: we're not going to do that, and they got hit.
- 25:03Speaker 6: Remember sixty days, and then came the sixty sixty one
- 25:06Speaker 6: is going to become a very famous number. That was
- 25:08Speaker 6: one hell of a hit, that first hit. That was
- 25:10Speaker 6: one hell of a hit. Not sustainable, to be honest.
- 25:13Speaker 6: That's where it ended. It ended on the first night.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Yes, too late, though, do you think it's too late
- 25:18Speaker 1: to now?
- 25:18Speaker 6: Really, nothing's too late.
- 25:20Speaker 1: The only thing too late is Powell.
- 25:22Speaker 6: Powell's too late, too late.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Powell President Trump making it clear this is something that
- 25:28Speaker 2: is on the table, which brings us to the latest
- 25:30Speaker 2: breaking news and what is being reported just a moment
- 25:33Speaker 2: ago on Fox News Channel that Donald Trump has in
- 25:37Speaker 2: fact approved attack plans against Iran.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Fox, who's alert the IATOLA, has gone into hiding. He's
- 25:44Speaker 4: believed to be holed up inside an underground bunker northeast
- 25:47Speaker 4: of the Capitol. This is a different kind of Iranian
- 25:50Speaker 4: hostage crisis. Komanie can hide, but he can't run. For
- 25:54Speaker 4: the past twenty four hours, Israel's been attacking the area
- 25:57Speaker 4: around his underground layer. Kamane, still talking tough, says Iran
- 26:02Speaker 4: will not surrender to anyone, and is warning that if
- 26:06Speaker 4: America joins the fight and strikes, it'll result in irreparable
- 26:10Speaker 4: damage to the United States.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Is he bluffing, We don't know.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Iranian proxies, which have been severely degraded, are threatening to
- 26:19Speaker 4: commit acts of terror against American troops and American ships
- 26:23Speaker 4: in the region, and American businesses are now bracing for
- 26:26Speaker 4: cyber attacks.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Trump says, good luck with that. We won't be bullied.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I was the hunted and now I'm the hunter. It's
- 26:35Speaker 1: a big difference. That means I've had it. Okay, I've
- 26:38Speaker 1: had it. I give up no more. Then we go
- 26:41Speaker 1: blow up all you know, all the.
- 26:43Speaker 6: Nuclear stuff that's all over the place.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Then now they had.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Bad intentions, you know, the for forty years they've been
- 26:50Speaker 3: saying death.
- 26:50Speaker 6: To American, death to Israel, and death to anybody else
- 26:53Speaker 6: that they didn't like. They were bullies, they were schoolyard bullies,
- 27:00Speaker 6: and now they're not bullies anymore.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Trump's been meeting in the situation room with his National
- 27:04Speaker 4: Security team head of Central Command, Army General Eric Carilla,
- 27:09Speaker 4: they call him the Gorilla. Has been instrumental in the
- 27:12Speaker 4: war planning the Pentagons, sending in their new state of
- 27:15Speaker 4: the art supercarrier, the USS Gerald Ford, and amassing a
- 27:19Speaker 4: tremendous amount of assets in the area. Today, Trump had
- 27:23Speaker 4: lunch with Pakistan's army chief.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Pakistan borders Iran.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Seems like something's about to happen, and this is just breaking.
- 27:31Speaker 4: The Wall Street journal is reporting Trump privately approved attack
- 27:35Speaker 4: plans against Iran. Now we don't know what these plans entail,
- 27:39Speaker 4: but we're told they include US air strikes. Unsure if
- 27:43Speaker 4: that includes bunker Busters. Remember, the latest version of the
- 27:46Speaker 4: bunker Buster has never been used on the battlefield, It's
- 27:50Speaker 4: only been tested. Axios reports that Trump has been quizzing
- 27:54Speaker 4: as generals. Are they sure if he uses them they'll
- 27:57Speaker 4: be one hundred percent effective? Generals say yes, but Trump's
- 28:02Speaker 4: not completely convinced. Caroline Levitt says all options remain on
- 28:06Speaker 4: the table. Trump's been waiting on giving the final order,
- 28:10Speaker 4: seeing if the Iranians give up and surrender their new
- 28:13Speaker 4: program peacefully. Sources in DC say Trump's out of patience
- 28:18Speaker 4: and Iran's up against the clock.
- 28:21Speaker 7: I believe that unlesserre On surrenders in the next forty
- 28:23Speaker 7: eight hours, the United States, in conjunction with Israel, will
- 28:26Speaker 7: engage in military action.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Trump says the Iranians want to fly all the way
- 28:31Speaker 4: to the White House to negotiate an end to this.
- 28:33Speaker 1: But he says it's too late. He doesn't appear to
- 28:36Speaker 1: be open.
- 28:37Speaker 4: To long drawn out negotiations where he gets strung along
- 28:40Speaker 4: like last time.
- 28:42Speaker 3: We're not looking for a ceasfire. We're looking for a total,
- 28:44Speaker 3: complete victory.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Again.
- 28:47Speaker 3: You know what the victory is no nuclear weapon.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Trump's made a decision.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Iran's nuclear program is gone. The person who ultimately decides
- 28:58Speaker 4: that is the Iatola. He can either let us do
- 29:01Speaker 4: it peacefully or we'll do it violently. But either way,
- 29:05Speaker 4: the outcome of this war is this, the Iranians will
- 29:07Speaker 4: never be able.
- 29:08Speaker 1: To acquire a nuclear weapon.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Now, the second part of this story is this, will
- 29:13Speaker 2: the supreme leader of Iran come to the negotiating table
- 29:17Speaker 2: and actually stop the nuclear program. They may be wanting
- 29:21Speaker 2: to send people to the White House, but here's what
- 29:24Speaker 2: the actual Iatolas says. He has a stark warning directed
- 29:28Speaker 2: both at the US and Israel. In fact, he declared,
- 29:32Speaker 2: today the battle begins, stating there would be quote no
- 29:36Speaker 2: mercy for the terrorist Zionis regime of Israel. He also
- 29:41Speaker 2: criticized the US President trump calls for Iran's unconential surrender,
- 29:45Speaker 2: asserting that Iran will never quote unquote surrender and that
- 29:49Speaker 2: any US military action would cause irreparable damage. Iran's you
- 29:54Speaker 2: An ambassador echoed that any direct US involvement alongside Israel
- 29:59Speaker 2: w trigger their own firm response. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman
- 30:05Speaker 2: went further, warning the US intervention could spark an all
- 30:09Speaker 2: out war across.
- 30:10Speaker 1: The entire region.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Now, let me say one other thing that's very interesting
- 30:16Speaker 2: about all this is what's happening within the Democratic Party.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Many Democrats are staying silent on this, but some are
- 30:24Speaker 2: willing to stand up and stand on the issue, actually
- 30:27Speaker 2: backing Donald Trump and saying we need to go even further.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Insert Democratic Senator John Fetterman. Here's what he had to
- 30:35Speaker 2: say on Fox News Channel with Bill Hemmer.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Say show no mercy and if you have to take
- 30:41Speaker 4: the Supreme leader out, do it.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Explain your position now, Sir.
- 30:45Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I think they should have targeted him, absolutely
- 30:49Speaker 8: gone taking him out. I think the way Israel operates,
- 30:53Speaker 8: they just take out the leadership, just like they did
- 30:56Speaker 8: with Hesbola, and they've already done that with the Iranian leadership,
- 31:00Speaker 8: just took them out, even laying in their beds, and
- 31:02Speaker 8: they didn't take down the whole building. They actually targeted
- 31:05Speaker 8: where they lay in bed. And now they eliminated the
- 31:08Speaker 8: military ones and the nuclear ones. That's magnificent and the
- 31:13Speaker 8: precision which they've done that, And I don't know why
- 31:15Speaker 8: they would have left the leader out.
- 31:18Speaker 2: What comes after that if that reality were to take place.
- 31:22Speaker 8: Senator Well, I think the reality is is that that
- 31:25Speaker 8: you have a nation that just is in a position
- 31:27Speaker 8: where they have to be held accountable for what they've done.
- 31:30Speaker 8: They are the ones that built and created the proxies
- 31:33Speaker 8: like Hamas and Hezbollah and put our whole region in
- 31:37Speaker 8: this kind of chaos, and now they clearly have nuclear ambitions,
- 31:41Speaker 8: and now I think it's entirely I'm not sure if
- 31:43Speaker 8: I might have been the only one constantly calling them
- 31:47Speaker 8: to just take this facility out and to use the
- 31:50Speaker 8: B two and those gigantic bunker buster ones and partner
- 31:56Speaker 8: up with Israel what they've.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Done, Fetterman saying, I call all in Israel to eliminate
- 32:01Speaker 2: the Supreme leader without mercy. So that brings us to
- 32:06Speaker 2: the latest point where we are now. Is there a
- 32:09Speaker 2: very good chance that Donald Trump could in fact order
- 32:11Speaker 2: that we attack Iran's nuclear sites with those bunker busting bombs.
- 32:15Speaker 2: The answers yes, would there be bipartisan support?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Clearly? John Fetterman says he will join others.
- 32:23Speaker 2: In the Republican Party advocating for this, which brings me
- 32:27Speaker 2: to my final point, what are the American people think
- 32:30Speaker 2: about the president stands?
- 32:33Speaker 1: Well?
- 32:33Speaker 2: Apparently in new polling, America stands overwhelmingly with Donald Trump
- 32:38Speaker 2: and Israel by staggeringly large numbers. Nearly seventy percent of
- 32:44Speaker 2: Americans say US airstrikes to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions are appropriate,
- 32:50Speaker 2: and the best part about it is who had to
- 32:52Speaker 2: report it?
- 32:53Speaker 1: CNN listen carefully and overall, I.
- 32:56Speaker 9: Feel like there's more support for Donald Trump's positions than
- 32:58Speaker 9: is comically acknowledged. Poser Iran getting a nuclear weapon. I mean,
- 33:01Speaker 9: look at this, Seventy nine percent of adults agree on
- 33:04Speaker 9: that they agree with Donald Trump and Ron cannot get.
- 33:06Speaker 1: A nuclear weapon. Eighty three percent of.
- 33:07Speaker 9: Republicans, seventy nine percent of Independence, seventy nine percent of Democrats.
- 33:11Speaker 9: When you get seventy nine percent of Democrats and eighty
- 33:14Speaker 9: three percent of Republicans agreeing on anything, you know that
- 33:17Speaker 9: that position is the very clear majority in this country.
- 33:19Speaker 9: And so the American public is with Donald Trump. They
- 33:22Speaker 9: definitely opposed in Ron.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Getting nuclear weapons. So this is a nuance here.
- 33:26Speaker 7: But you know Trump and Nettino both arguing that Ron
- 33:29Speaker 7: is close to being capable of making a nuclear weapon.
- 33:32Speaker 7: If that is the case, what is the feeling of
- 33:34Speaker 7: Americans as to whether the United States should get involved
- 33:37Speaker 7: in this conflict?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Right?
- 33:39Speaker 9: If you buy Donald Trump's theory of the case. And
- 33:41Speaker 9: I think that's important to note, this is polling from
- 33:43Speaker 9: April for Rans trying to make a nuclear weapon.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Look at this overall, you get the.
- 33:48Speaker 9: Slight plurality, I mean it's within the margin ember, but
- 33:50Speaker 9: the slight plurality of Americans actually favor US air strikes
- 33:53Speaker 9: compared to forty seven percent of posing it. Now here's
- 33:55Speaker 9: the other nugget. Will note, right, there's been a lot
- 33:57Speaker 9: of talk online and on social media and en podcasts
- 34:01Speaker 9: of a divide within the Republican ranks.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But here on this question.
- 34:04Speaker 9: If a rans trying to make a nuclear up, and
- 34:05Speaker 9: look at that sixty nine percent of Republicans, the clear
- 34:09Speaker 9: vast majority of Republicans favor US air strikes on are
- 34:12Speaker 9: on on their nuclear facilities.
- 34:14Speaker 2: No doubt President Trump has a support of the American
- 34:17Speaker 2: people in overwhelming and staggering numbers. And for anyone out
- 34:21Speaker 2: there that's trying to tell you there's some massive divide
- 34:23Speaker 2: within MAGA country, they're just wrong. Basically, seventy percent of
- 34:29Speaker 2: the GOP favor US air strikes. This is a major
- 34:34Speaker 2: number on such a quote controversial issue. So there may
- 34:39Speaker 2: actually be just propagandas out there, just like Tucker Carlson,
- 34:43Speaker 2: who are trying to act like there's some big divide
