- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah?

- 0:53Speaker 5: Have you got you turn.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Again?
- 1:40Speaker 3: I got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn you probably got to turn mouth to turn out,
- 1:46Speaker 5: turn a wad of the morning up.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on you'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Man, oh man, oh man, God being good to me. Man.
- 2:16Speaker 6: I can't explain it all really, Hey, you know, I
- 2:19Speaker 6: want to remind everybody of something that I need reminding
- 2:23Speaker 6: of myself all the time. And I'm I'm dealing with
- 2:28Speaker 6: a couple of things now and I had to remind myself.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Uh you know what I have to remember. I have
- 2:34Speaker 6: to constantly remind myself to stay in constant communication with God.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Constant communication with God. You know sometimes, you know, I
- 2:45Speaker 6: have a tendency and maybe we do all this people,
- 2:47Speaker 6: I don't know, but I know for me that when
- 2:50Speaker 6: it's going okay, I slack up in sometimes having conversations
- 2:55Speaker 6: with him because I'm not coming to him on a
- 2:58Speaker 6: daily with something that's pressing us something, and I find
- 3:01Speaker 6: myself slacking up in the communication. The danger I have
- 3:06Speaker 6: learned in that is this, I think, you know, I
- 3:10Speaker 6: mean we've all heard old people say, you know, you
- 3:13Speaker 6: got to stay prayed up, you know, and you know
- 3:17Speaker 6: prayed up means you know you got some store it up.
- 3:20Speaker 6: You just got an abundance of them where you're putting
- 3:23Speaker 6: it in. Because what happens is is when you're not
- 3:27Speaker 6: in constant communication with God, when you're not constantly praying,
- 3:31Speaker 6: doing those good times, that allows for the enemy to
- 3:36Speaker 6: slip in and do the little things that can be upsetting.
- 3:40Speaker 6: And then the next thing, you know what, you get
- 3:42Speaker 6: several little things in a row. Now you got an
- 3:46Speaker 6: issue you're dealing with.
- 3:48Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:48Speaker 6: I have to remind myself when it's going like that, Man,
- 3:51Speaker 6: Have I really been praying though? Have I really been
- 3:54Speaker 6: in constant communication with God? Because you know, that helps
- 3:58Speaker 6: God against that little bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's
- 4:03Speaker 6: big stuff, sometimes it's major stuff. But I've noticed, man,
- 4:06Speaker 6: that when I get on a more of a smooth
- 4:09Speaker 6: plane in life, I have a tendency to slack up
- 4:12Speaker 6: in that department, and that ain't the time to slack up.
- 4:17Speaker 6: I'm really learning that I have to stay in constant
- 4:20Speaker 6: communication with God because it enables me to ward off
- 4:25Speaker 6: those little things coming up that can get in the way.
- 4:30Speaker 6: And so I just wanted to make you aware of
- 4:32Speaker 6: that as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up
- 4:37Speaker 6: is important that you try to stop prayers, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 6: you try to you know, have some prayers in the bank,
- 4:43Speaker 6: so to speak, and just constant communication with Him because
- 4:46Speaker 6: it'll just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back
- 4:49Speaker 6: doing you. You know, I just wanted to make sure
- 4:51Speaker 6: you understood that because on your journey, it's gonna be
- 4:55Speaker 6: many obstacles.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I've said this one hundred times on the show.
- 4:59Speaker 6: The road to cess is always under construction. I say
- 5:02Speaker 6: that all the time, and it's to let you understand
- 5:06Speaker 6: that it's not going to be easy, but we can
- 5:10Speaker 6: make it more difficult than it has to be, you know,
- 5:14Speaker 6: when you go out strike out on the journey. You know,
- 5:18Speaker 6: Let's say I got in my car. Let's say I'm
- 5:20Speaker 6: in New York and I get in my car and
- 5:24Speaker 6: I say I'm going to La. I know, if I
- 5:27Speaker 6: drive west and continue to drive west, eventually I should
- 5:34Speaker 6: get to California, or I may wind up in Portland
- 5:38Speaker 6: or Seattle or something like that. But if I drive west,
- 5:42Speaker 6: I'm going to eventually get to the West Coast. Now
- 5:48Speaker 6: wouldn't it be smarter though? If I mapped out the
- 5:53Speaker 6: route which saved me a bunch of driving, I don't
- 5:58Speaker 6: need and figure it that I don't have to calculate
- 6:02Speaker 6: when you know the way to go. You know, if
- 6:06Speaker 6: you know you want to cut cross on the twenty,
- 6:11Speaker 6: or you want to cut cross on the seventy, or
- 6:14Speaker 6: you want to cut cross on the tin, you know
- 6:18Speaker 6: you got to.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Devise a route.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Now, if I want to go visit some people I know,
- 6:23Speaker 6: then I know I got to I need to go down.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You know.
- 6:25Speaker 6: I might go through Ohio, come down on the eighty,
- 6:28Speaker 6: then get on seventy one and take that all the
- 6:31Speaker 6: way down to the ten and then ride across. Or
- 6:33Speaker 6: I might take it to the twenty, cut through Texas
- 6:36Speaker 6: and then and then let it link back up on
- 6:38Speaker 6: the ten. I know a lot of different ways, but
- 6:41Speaker 6: guess what the best way is to map it out?
- 6:45Speaker 6: You can go anywhere, but If you go with a map,
- 6:49Speaker 6: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 6:52Speaker 6: And that's what prayer has taught me that when I
- 6:56Speaker 6: will entify, continuously pray that I stay.
- 6:59Speaker 1: In the in the I stay in.
- 7:01Speaker 6: A prepared mode, I have more idea of where I'm going,
- 7:05Speaker 6: I'm more secure with my route. If you just take
- 7:08Speaker 6: off driving heading west, Yeah, you'll eventually get to the
- 7:12Speaker 6: west coast if you out east. But guess what though,
- 7:15Speaker 6: had you mapped it out, you can see when you
- 7:18Speaker 6: veering off, you may stop, come out and not be
- 7:22Speaker 6: paying attention. Next thing you know, you're on a route
- 7:24Speaker 6: and you go on another way. You're going north when
- 7:26Speaker 6: you could easily still be going west. You've got to
- 7:28Speaker 6: constantly be aware of that. And I'm just pointing that
- 7:30Speaker 6: out to you because I know that on your journey,
- 7:33Speaker 6: a lot of times you get sidetracked. And part of
- 7:36Speaker 6: the ways we get sidetracked is we lose out on
- 7:40Speaker 6: that very the very beneficial resource of prayer. We lose
- 7:44Speaker 6: out with our connection with God gets strained. The thicker
- 7:50Speaker 6: you can keep the cord connected to God if you
- 7:54Speaker 6: thin out your communication with God and instead of having
- 7:57Speaker 6: a big thick cable. Now you're dealing with a thread.
- 8:01Speaker 6: You know, a cable is stronger than thread, and so
- 8:05Speaker 6: it just decreases your opportunity. And so you know, I
- 8:10Speaker 6: wanted to just make you aware of that, and you know,
- 8:13Speaker 6: to ever be encouraged to say to everybody out there
- 8:16Speaker 6: and just keep your head up. It is going to
- 8:18Speaker 6: be dark days for you. There are going to be
- 8:21Speaker 6: situations where it's going to be daunting and hard to face.
- 8:25Speaker 6: But man, oh man, oh man, everybody has to face
- 8:29Speaker 6: these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes. You know, look, if
- 8:33Speaker 6: you didn't lose, if you didn't lose, you wouldn't even
- 8:38Speaker 6: appreciate winning because if it all went your weight all
- 8:42Speaker 6: the time. Do you know how complacent and content and
- 8:47Speaker 6: how easy life would be if it just went your
- 8:50Speaker 6: way all the time. So when it kept going your way,
- 8:54Speaker 6: you wouldn't even appreciate it because guess what, it's been
- 8:56Speaker 6: going this way the whole time. So what life does
- 8:59Speaker 6: is has its checks and balances. These hard times are coming,
- 9:04Speaker 6: and you need the hard times to appreciate the good times.
- 9:07Speaker 6: You need the clouds and you need the rain to
- 9:11Speaker 6: appreciate the sun and the flowers. It's just when it
- 9:16Speaker 6: comes to prayer, though, just stay prayed up, stay constant
- 9:21Speaker 6: with it, because the challenges of life are coming, whether
- 9:25Speaker 6: you prayed up or not, they're coming. Understand that you
- 9:29Speaker 6: could pray every day all day. When you get through
- 9:31Speaker 6: praying every day all day, something's gonna happen to you.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's gonna be challenging. Now.
- 9:37Speaker 6: I would rather have been in communication with God on
- 9:40Speaker 6: a regular than wait till every time something pop off
- 9:43Speaker 6: to have to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, it
- 9:48Speaker 6: was over a little around the board with it today,
- 9:51Speaker 6: but that's how it came to me. So that is
- 9:53Speaker 6: I ain't mad at it. Y'all have a great day.
- 9:55Speaker 6: We're gonna have a good one to day. Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the ride the Steve Harvey
- 10:07Speaker 6: Morning Show. It's alive and well. You are live and well,
- 10:11Speaker 6: and for that you ought to be grateful. For whatever
- 10:14Speaker 6: measure of health you have. You ought to say thank you.
- 10:18Speaker 6: If you're walking, if you can see, if you can talk,
- 10:20Speaker 6: if you can think, if you're in close in your
- 10:22Speaker 6: right mind, you ought to say thank you. If you
- 10:25Speaker 6: got food, shell to clothe it. Any kind? You got
- 10:28Speaker 6: a bus ticket? Thank you, you got bike? Thank you,
- 10:31Speaker 6: you got the uber app, thank you something man, be grateful.
- 10:36Speaker 6: The more grateful you are, the more God will give
- 10:38Speaker 6: you to be grateful for it. That's a fact, ladies
- 10:41Speaker 6: and gentlemen. This is to Steve Artin Martershow, Shirley Strawberry,
- 10:44Speaker 6: Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica, and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 10:48Speaker 1: What's on anybody's mind today?
- 10:51Speaker 6: Carler?
- 10:51Speaker 1: I see your hand. Okay, I got a question.
- 10:54Speaker 2: It's the first day of school for a lot of kids,
- 10:59Speaker 2: secondary school, elementary, any kind you played a TV or
- 11:03Speaker 2: you played a teacher on TV, any kind of what's
- 11:06Speaker 2: the message for the kids this school year? What you
- 11:09Speaker 2: got give them some advice?
- 11:11Speaker 7: School?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, school ain't for everybody.
- 11:15Speaker 6: You can't say, well, we're in. My line to that
- 11:27Speaker 6: question is no.
- 11:29Speaker 1: That's not the message. Steve. Now listen to me on
- 11:32Speaker 1: the show, and you know that.
- 11:34Speaker 6: The basics of education are critical to forming the foundation
- 11:39Speaker 6: of your life. Come on, you have got to master reading, writing, comprehension.
- 11:48Speaker 6: You've got to understand math, You've got to get some
- 11:51Speaker 6: understanding of science.
- 11:53Speaker 1: You should know your history. That's it.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Now, after you get out of high school, that high
- 12:00Speaker 6: school diploma is critical because without it you cripple your life.
- 12:04Speaker 1: It's hard to get hired without.
- 12:06Speaker 6: A high school diploma, So do not cripple yourself that way.
- 12:09Speaker 6: But after that, I would focus on two things if
- 12:12Speaker 6: I were you, your gifts and your dreams. I would
- 12:17Speaker 6: focus on those two things. The Bible says a man
- 12:21Speaker 6: without a dream or vision shall perish. The Bible says,
- 12:25Speaker 6: your gift will make room for you and put you
- 12:28Speaker 6: in the presence of great men. If you were to
- 12:32Speaker 6: focus on those two things, your gift and your dreams,
- 12:38Speaker 6: their lies your road to happiness. Now, parents, if you
- 12:42Speaker 6: would sit your children down and ask them what are
- 12:46Speaker 6: their dreams, and then help them talk about their gifts,
- 12:50Speaker 6: you would save yourself a lot of parenting woes because
- 12:53Speaker 6: it's hard when you're telling the little boy, stay in school,
- 12:55Speaker 6: do your work, do your work okay? Why Well, if
- 12:59Speaker 6: you've got the problem for dream in front of him,
- 13:02Speaker 6: the dream will spur him to get the education. This
- 13:05Speaker 6: young boy told me he wanted to fly airplanes. He
- 13:07Speaker 6: was not doing well in school. I introduced him to
- 13:09Speaker 6: a pilot pilot said, if you want a fly airplane,
- 13:12Speaker 6: you gotta be good at science and math. To boy,
- 13:14Speaker 6: straighten his grades out because he wanted to fly more
- 13:16Speaker 6: than anything.
- 13:17Speaker 1: That caused him to go back to school get his
- 13:19Speaker 1: grades together.
- 13:20Speaker 6: The young man is a pilot today, fresh from the
- 13:23Speaker 6: Steve Harvey Minery camp, paid for pilot school and everything.
- 13:26Speaker 6: The dream and the vision is important. Parents, talk to
- 13:30Speaker 6: your children about it. That's the best way to help
- 13:32Speaker 6: him stop beating them over the head with education. If
- 13:34Speaker 6: you ain't gonna beat him over the head with their dream.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Amend well, Thank you Steve.
- 13:41Speaker 8: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:43Speaker 8: got the pastors with a word right after this.
- 13:46Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 13:56Speaker 10: Big Three Playoffs alive from Dallas this Sunday, three Eastern

- 14:24Speaker 8: It is time now for Reverend Motown and Deacon Deaf
- 14:27Speaker 8: Jam with a word.
- 14:30Speaker 6: We folk gal Yeah, in this place of epinguity, we
- 14:41Speaker 6: marginalize what we are doing in a symptectical way, knowing
- 14:49Speaker 6: that we are for righteously, yeah, impetitiously going about it, zipp.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Righteously cold coldness.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Those words are stronger than the ziplock time. I ain't
- 15:09Speaker 6: talking about the one in the box. I'm talking about
- 15:12Speaker 6: the one when they come get you.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Let us begin with our word today, Deacon, what
- 15:19Speaker 1: are we going to do? We are going to the
- 15:23Speaker 1: book pastor.
- 15:24Speaker 10: Let's see, this is the year of nineteen ninety seven.
- 15:30Speaker 1: The Book of bad Due, the Book of bad Do.
- 15:35Speaker 10: And if you look at the Book of Baddoo, it
- 15:38Speaker 10: says here then this is this is chapter two now,
- 15:41Speaker 10: verse one, it says, I'm getting tired of your sugar
- 15:45Speaker 10: honey iced tea.
- 15:48Speaker 1: You don't never buy me nothing.
- 15:52Speaker 10: See, every time you come around, you gotta bring Jim, James,
- 15:57Speaker 10: Paul and Ty.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Start right there, Yes, sir, we going deep today.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yes we are, Yes we are.
- 16:08Speaker 6: This is a story about a woman with the maid,
- 16:13Speaker 6: and that ain't a maid that don't hold up his
- 16:19Speaker 6: end of the bargain at all, Yes, sir, yes, sir, we.
- 16:26Speaker 10: See why can't we be by ourselves?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Sometimes? See right there? Start right there? Stop right there?
- 16:35Speaker 6: And the question why can't we you and I, he
- 16:40Speaker 6: and her, not them and thee? We be by ourself? Sometimes?
- 16:45Speaker 1: We see?
- 16:46Speaker 10: I've been having this on my mind for a long time.
- 16:51Speaker 6: Stop right there. This is something I've been thinking about.
- 16:54Speaker 1: This ain't new.
- 16:56Speaker 6: I ain't gonna come up with this just now. This's
- 16:59Speaker 6: been having a whole and over and over and over again, Huri.
- 17:03Speaker 10: I just want it to be you and me like
- 17:07Speaker 10: it used to be, baby.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Stop right there.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I remember when it just used to be me and you. Yeah. Now,
- 17:18Speaker 6: all of a sudden, there's a whole group of folks.
- 17:24Speaker 6: I don't want to name names, but I'm about to
- 17:29Speaker 6: in a second, Huri. But you don't know how to act.
- 17:34Speaker 10: So matter of fact, I think you better call Tyron.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Stop right there.
- 17:40Speaker 6: I said I wasn't gonna name no names, but as
- 17:47Speaker 6: the story goes, you better call Tyrone.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Don't know what Tyron mean to you.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't really know what y'all got going on.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I don't know if it's Tyrone or t Bone.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Called somebody on your phone, read.
- 18:12Speaker 10: And tell him come on, help you get your sugar
- 18:17Speaker 10: honey ice tea.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Yes, Lord, the.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Wording we're looking for is not sugar were It has
- 18:28Speaker 6: no honey in it. Very rarely have you seen any
- 18:33Speaker 6: ice around it, And it don't really come into tea
- 18:38Speaker 6: flavor you.
- 18:44Speaker 1: When you call Tyrone.
- 18:47Speaker 6: The sugar honey ice tea I'm talking about is the
- 18:50Speaker 6: little bit you have in my house boo. That draw Yeah,
- 18:57Speaker 6: and them four hangers.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Them taller trees.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Come on here now that right there, and that one
- 19:05Speaker 6: smelly pair of sneakers under the bit.
- 19:07Speaker 1: We now this where, that's where. This where, that's where.
- 19:10Speaker 1: That's where. That's where it turns past.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Now.
- 19:12Speaker 10: Every time I asked you for a little cash, you
- 19:18Speaker 10: say no, But turn around and ask me for something.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Shot right there?
- 19:25Speaker 6: Yeah, every time I fix my lips, yeah, just to
- 19:33Speaker 6: ask for a little bit of help.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 6: We are both sitting up in here eating grocery. We
- 19:41Speaker 6: both sitting up in here or watching TV. Burd and electricity.
- 19:45Speaker 6: When we both in here jumping in and out of
- 19:48Speaker 6: my car, running out gas.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's what we're doing.
- 19:51Speaker 6: But when I asked you for a little bit of
- 19:55Speaker 6: help in the form of cash, you ain't got nothing
- 20:00Speaker 6: I really need, But you got the nerve. Turn around
- 20:04Speaker 6: and ask me for some of my goodness, some of
- 20:09Speaker 6: my messing.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You want some of this here, grace, Wow, you want
- 20:15Speaker 1: another taste?
- 20:17Speaker 6: I got news for you. We ain't passing out no more.
- 20:20Speaker 6: Nothing that rhyme with cash. We ain't passing out nothing,
- 20:25Speaker 6: no more that rhyme with gas. We ain't passing out
- 20:29Speaker 6: nothing no more. That's the opposite of the slow that fast.
- 20:32Speaker 6: We ain't passing out nothing like that no more. Until
- 20:36Speaker 6: I get some cash, you won't get nothing that rhyme
- 20:39Speaker 6: with cash. You can't get this if I can't get that.
- 20:44Speaker 6: If I can't get that, then you ain't gonna ever
- 20:47Speaker 6: get this.
- 20:48Speaker 1: The doors of this church.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Is open, but in order for you to come up
- 20:51Speaker 6: in here, you gotta do like Tyrone didn't do.
- 20:55Speaker 1: You gotta bring some cash up in the here.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Come.
- 20:58Speaker 6: If you don't bring cash up in here, you can
- 21:01Speaker 6: stay where you at, keep yo ezaz outside and go,
- 21:08Speaker 6: Cause you get in here, you need cash welcome to
- 21:11Speaker 6: the jackpud Join room.
- 21:14Speaker 1: We appreciate that.
- 21:18Speaker 8: Tyro all right, thank you, Reverend Motown and digging deaf
- 21:28Speaker 8: jam with the word coming up next in his ask
- 21:31Speaker 8: the CLO with her Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in

- 21:37Speaker 8: Harvey Morning Show.

- 22:14Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:15Speaker 8: In entertainment news, Spike Lee Denzel asap Rocky and Jeffrey Wright.
- 22:21Speaker 8: Your boy, Tommy, Jeffrey Wright have a new movie. We're
- 22:24Speaker 8: going to talk about that. Yeah Yeah, Common dishes over
- 22:28Speaker 8: his girlfriend Jennifer Hudson, and a man from England died
- 22:33Speaker 8: while trying to get a hair transplant. That is all
- 22:36Speaker 8: coming up at the top of the hour. We'll talk
- 22:38Speaker 8: about it, but right now, J to ask the CLO. Well,
- 22:46Speaker 8: we got Alicia in Columbia Colo. She says, I'm closer
- 22:51Speaker 8: to my aunt than my mom. My aunt put me
- 22:53Speaker 8: through college and bought me my first car. My mom
- 22:57Speaker 8: resents her from being financially able to do that those things,
- 23:00Speaker 8: and I'm tired of trying to make her make my
- 23:03Speaker 8: mom feel whole. Am I responsible for her feelings for
- 23:07Speaker 8: her mom?
- 23:08Speaker 6: Absolutely not, absolutely not, absolutely not. Your mother is jealous
- 23:14Speaker 6: of her sister, period, and that's something she got to
- 23:20Speaker 6: work through. She ought to be grateful to her sister
- 23:24Speaker 6: for taking care of her daughter. That's what she ought
- 23:26Speaker 6: to do. But see, when you don't practice gratitude, you
- 23:30Speaker 6: end up with attitude. Just think about anything, anybody, if
- 23:37Speaker 6: you're having a problem with anybody that you've ever helped,
- 23:41Speaker 6: and think and everybody has that, remember this. Once they
- 23:46Speaker 6: don't operate with gratitude, you fit to get the attitude.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Hello, Okay, all right, okay, okay, all right. Moving on
- 23:57Speaker 1: to Darla in Knoxville.
- 23:59Speaker 8: Darlas, my birthday was Friday, and I told my husband
- 24:03Speaker 8: what I wanted for my birthday.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And I showed him a picture of it.
- 24:07Speaker 8: He went and got what he wanted and had the
- 24:10Speaker 8: nerve to be hurt by my reaction. Am I supposed
- 24:13Speaker 8: to be thrilled over this gift that I don't want?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Well, you know why.
- 24:22Speaker 6: He didn't do what you asked him to do. I
- 24:25Speaker 6: just don't understand that fellas. Now, he might have called
- 24:29Speaker 6: himself surprising you because he didn't want to get you
- 24:32Speaker 6: what you asked for, because then it wouldn't be a surprise,
- 24:35Speaker 6: but not a surprised and backfire. But then you got
- 24:38Speaker 6: to also remember, lady, you're not five. You're not five.
- 24:43Speaker 6: That could be another time to get this. But once again,
- 24:48Speaker 6: let me go back to this. When you do something
- 24:51Speaker 6: with somebody and they don't exhibit gratitude, what you will
- 24:57Speaker 6: get is attitude. Now, I got what you told him,
- 25:02Speaker 6: but the fact that he did something, Why didn't you
- 25:05Speaker 6: ask him why he gave you that?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Did he say?
- 25:08Speaker 6: I really thought put some thought into this, and I
- 25:10Speaker 6: thought you might like this instead.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I know that's what you want.
- 25:13Speaker 6: But I wanted to try to surprise you with something,
- 25:15Speaker 6: and me have a good reason for that.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But you're so busy wanting what you want because.
- 25:19Speaker 6: You five, I ain't getting no bike for Christmas, you know,
- 25:23Speaker 6: so that's whatever latery Okay.
- 25:27Speaker 10: I hate being told what to go get. I might
- 25:29Speaker 10: as well just give you the money to go get it. Yeah,
- 25:32Speaker 10: don't feel like a surprise I get.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Well, we can narrow it down. Yeah we know. Shit,
- 25:41Speaker 1: I'm not mad that come on, because yeah it's easier.
- 25:45Speaker 8: He got her what he wanted her to have, but
- 25:47Speaker 8: not what she wanted, you know, but then it back. Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 8: now he's hurt. Okay, yeah, all right, moving on to
- 25:57Speaker 8: Sean and Alexandria. Sean, it's my husband got laid off
- 26:02Speaker 8: and he's been down and neglecting his hygiene. But I
- 26:05Speaker 8: still try to make him feel special by having sex
- 26:07Speaker 8: whenever he wants to. How do I encourage him to
- 26:10Speaker 8: take showers and keep himself groomed while he's unemployed?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Ew?
- 26:17Speaker 6: Well, you know one way to get him the shower
- 26:20Speaker 6: is quit having sex just because he won't to.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Now, I don't know what you not working got to
- 26:27Speaker 6: do with you being funky, But I don't understand. It's like,
- 26:32Speaker 6: you know, when I'm on vacation, I still bathe I
- 26:36Speaker 6: got that. I ain't on TV now I might not shave,
- 26:39Speaker 6: but we're gonna wash.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna do that.
- 26:44Speaker 6: And I live with a woman where you can't come
- 26:47Speaker 6: up in there, you because I'm married to a blood hound.
- 26:49Speaker 6: So she got a sense that I, you know, yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 6: we can save your sneakers by the dope. Yeah, you
- 27:00Speaker 6: know you little stuff like that. Was you smoking a
- 27:04Speaker 6: cigar outside? It was outside, it was too close to
- 27:06Speaker 6: the dome, you know, stuff like that.
- 27:08Speaker 11: So yeah, so what she wants to yes, just stop
- 27:18Speaker 11: the letters think.
- 27:21Speaker 8: I know, yeah, the sex part with no showers and
- 27:24Speaker 8: all that. Okay, all right, last one.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You're holding her bro gross she got a mask on.
- 27:34Speaker 8: I don't know, all right, last one, last one and
- 27:38Speaker 8: Stella and Syracuse says, I've planned this destination wedding, but
- 27:43Speaker 8: most of our family members are not coming because they
- 27:46Speaker 8: are scared to leave the country right now. My fiance's
- 27:50Speaker 8: dad has offered to pay for our wedding in New York.
- 27:53Speaker 7: Do we have to change our plans for them?
- 27:56Speaker 6: Yes, you do, because ain't nobody going nowhere with you
- 27:59Speaker 6: right now?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Not in this crazy climbing win.
- 28:02Speaker 6: Yeah, you can still have a destination wearing without getting
- 28:05Speaker 6: on the plane and going nowhere. Go to Pennsylvania. You
- 28:08Speaker 6: can have a destination wedding in Pennsylvania.
- 28:12Speaker 7: It is a different destination than.
- 28:14Speaker 6: No, no, no, in the Amish Country. You could do
- 28:16Speaker 6: it in Amish Country because then you know it ain't nobody.
- 28:20Speaker 1: It'd be like you in a different whole, nother world.
- 28:22Speaker 6: You can be down there and just have every because
- 28:24Speaker 6: they got a lot of candles down there. You canna
- 28:26Speaker 6: have candles everything right there. It's gonna be nice. Didn't
- 28:31Speaker 6: have you have butter churn? You have fresh butter. Oh
- 28:34Speaker 6: that butter. And then and then they'll make you a
- 28:37Speaker 6: wedding gown you ain't ever seen before, come with a
- 28:42Speaker 6: bonnet and everything.
- 28:43Speaker 1: You have to wear them a little lace up boots.
- 28:45Speaker 6: But other than that, you're gonna wear them high heels.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It's not at the Amish window.
- 28:52Speaker 6: You're gonna have to wear them boots that lace up
- 28:54Speaker 6: with about the thirtys on it. Yeah, yeah, you're gonna
- 28:58Speaker 6: wear them little page boys shoe look like you deliver newspapers.
- 29:01Speaker 1: You have to take out to get out them clothes. Though,
- 29:04Speaker 1: after the wedd.
- 29:07Speaker 6: It's gonna take to get there too, because that horse
- 29:09Speaker 6: horse traffic crazy.
- 29:11Speaker 1: And get up in there, man, what would you be

- 30:43Speaker 8: starring Denzel A. Sap Rocky and Jeffrey Wright, is out.
- 30:46Speaker 8: I think it came out last week, guys. Denzel plays
- 30:49Speaker 8: a music mogul who gets drawn into a cat and
- 30:52Speaker 8: mouse game all over New York City after his son
- 30:55Speaker 8: is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands seventeen and a half million dollars,
- 31:00Speaker 8: so Denzel is frantically trying to come up with the cash.
- 31:03Speaker 8: Asap Rocky stars as Denzel's son in Highest Lois and
- 31:07Speaker 8: Spike Lee remarked, Yeah, don't don't sleep on Asap. In
- 31:12Speaker 8: this film, Denzel and Asap go Toe to Toe High

- 31:59Speaker 1: Some great movies to it.
- 32:00Speaker 8: Well, we look forward to it, all right, it comes
- 32:03Speaker 8: out this Friday, Highest to Lois Well. Common uh dished
- 32:07Speaker 8: about his relationship with Jennifer Hudson and a podcast interview recently,
- 32:11Speaker 8: Common said that he and Jennifer are meant to be
- 32:14Speaker 8: and it took it some time to get dating right,
- 32:18Speaker 8: he said, quote, this relationship is one of the greatest
- 32:21Speaker 8: blessings and most important things in my life. The friendship,
- 32:25Speaker 8: the partnership, the life, partnership, just the connection.
- 32:28Speaker 1: And it took me some.
- 32:29Speaker 8: Time maybe to grow and evolve as a person. It's
- 32:33Speaker 8: like those things you pray for, you don't get them
- 32:36Speaker 8: until you're ready. So, I mean, I thought that was
- 32:39Speaker 8: really sweet because you know, a lot of people were
- 32:41Speaker 8: saying he would never get married.
- 32:43Speaker 1: He's a player all of that, because he's been.
- 32:45Speaker 8: You know, with so many Hollywood women, you know and start.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Yeah, they've been like whenever I've been around and talk
- 33:01Speaker 6: with him, it's just a good.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Dude, man man, solid, solid man. But like you say,
- 33:07Speaker 1: he got to get it right, and it.
- 33:09Speaker 6: Was him, Yeah, oh yeah, it was him. Yeah, because
- 33:12Speaker 6: he said, Keith, I got to get it. I had
- 33:15Speaker 6: to get this right. But I got a partner man.
- 33:17Speaker 1: He just can't. He couldn't get it right.
- 33:20Speaker 6: He just couldn't get it right to save his life,
- 33:22Speaker 6: because every time he got to the relationship part, when
- 33:25Speaker 6: the when the newness was off, he didn't have the
- 33:27Speaker 6: skills to make it.
- 33:28Speaker 7: Work after that real life and I was going.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Dog man you're letting some good women go because you
- 33:34Speaker 1: what's wrong with you?
- 33:35Speaker 9: Now?
- 33:35Speaker 1: It's them, dog, all of them.
- 33:40Speaker 6: If you can't keep nobody, nobody, it's probably you.
- 33:47Speaker 1: But we definitely wish them well as a couple. And
- 33:51Speaker 1: I like that guy love, I go.
- 33:54Speaker 8: I like them together to rooting for them, Yeah, to
- 33:57Speaker 8: make sure couple.
- 34:00Speaker 6: There's no such thing as Chicago love. I want to
- 34:03Speaker 6: throw that out there. There's no such thing.
- 34:04Speaker 1: As Chicago Chicago. That's yeah. I mean I haven't been
- 34:09Speaker 1: in love in several cities and divorce.
- 34:11Speaker 7: But you're not from Chicago and they're not cargo.
- 34:15Speaker 1: That's how we were saying this. Yes, love clean love
- 34:20Speaker 1: and c used to love Browns. You just get divorced.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Surely you shut up and love.
- 34:32Speaker 6: I don't know, hello, So let's not be trying to
- 34:36Speaker 6: make this by no city.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Well you did.
- 34:41Speaker 1: That's something they.
- 34:42Speaker 7: Have in common, Yes, in common, that's his name is.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Yeah, we wish them well as a couple. We like them.
- 34:51Speaker 8: Now, there's a black man in England. This is a
- 34:54Speaker 8: sad story right here. He died, and he died after
- 34:58Speaker 8: he underwent a hair trance plant procedure in Turkey. He
- 35:02Speaker 8: became ill for reasons that are still unknown. While he
- 35:06Speaker 8: was being prepared for a hair transplant surgery and Istanbul
- 35:10Speaker 8: Turkish health authorities are investigating and an autopsy will be conducted.
- 35:15Speaker 8: So Tommy and of course Steve, they were both bald. Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 8: and you ever thought that he died?
- 35:22Speaker 1: Why? Yeah, why there's too many needles. You know.
- 35:24Speaker 6: He probably was in there like me and Tommy, and
- 35:27Speaker 6: then he just want a whole head, you know. See,
- 35:30Speaker 6: you got to go in there, and when you got
- 35:31Speaker 6: a ball spot or you got that horseshoe in the
- 35:34Speaker 6: front of your head, you can't go in there as
- 35:37Speaker 6: me and Tommy, and then you want a head full
- 35:40Speaker 6: of hell.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Now they just scaping in your head. And it's just shocking.
- 35:44Speaker 6: Even if you get on the plane, all that tangling,
- 35:47Speaker 6: you know, when the medication were off.
- 35:49Speaker 7: Tangling Now, oh, tangling is tingling?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Go ahead? Its tangling. You know it's tingling you, No, bro,
- 36:00Speaker 1: It's gonna stop you in your life a lot of times.
- 36:04Speaker 1: It's gonna hold me back. Yeah, because if you don't
- 36:07Speaker 1: find I got okay, go ahead.
- 36:15Speaker 6: Tingling is different than tangling. Tangling is way more painful.
- 36:19Speaker 6: Yea hangling is strong qitch Tangling tingling.
- 36:27Speaker 2: You can bear, you can handle tangling different.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Never heard.
- 36:35Speaker 6: Tangling is when you hit your elbow in that little
- 36:37Speaker 6: spot and then run down through your baby fangles.
- 36:40Speaker 1: That's tingling. Okay, Haangling can actually even be a fight.
- 36:43Speaker 10: You ain't never heard to open. You say they ain't
- 36:45Speaker 10: got out there and got the tangling. They didn't got
- 36:46Speaker 10: the tangler here. Tangling is important. That that's how that's
- 36:51Speaker 10: a strong and much stung.
- 36:52Speaker 6: His head was tan tango sitting up here and then
- 36:56Speaker 6: he just fell out.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah what yeah, yeah, So you.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Guys all over there, all over there, try and get
- 37:05Speaker 6: some waves to get a hair.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Just got it. Been helping when he got.
- 37:12Speaker 8: Right coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, President
- 37:16Speaker 8: Trump says that being.
- 37:17Speaker 7: WHOA is for losers.
- 37:20Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 37:22Speaker 9: You're listening, Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 37:29Speaker 10: The Moment of Truth has arrived. Ice Cube and the
- 37:32Speaker 10: Big Three Playoffs alive from Dallas this Sunday, three pm

- 37:44Speaker 10: it's supposed to be. Watch Lan Stevens and Dwight Howard

- 37:53Speaker 10: of the one million dollar finals perse Big Three on
- 37:55Speaker 10: CBS this Sunday, three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific.
- 38:00Speaker 8: Well, last week, President Trump reacted to an ad for
- 38:04Speaker 8: American Eagle with actress Sidney Sweeney. The ad slogan was
- 38:09Speaker 8: Sidney Sweeney has good jeans and Sweeney, the actress, is
- 38:13Speaker 8: wearing jeans on the ad. For whatever reason, the ad
- 38:16Speaker 8: offended Donald Trump, and he spoke out on True Social
- 38:19Speaker 8: saying that the ad had racial undertones. He said, being woke. Yeah,
- 38:24Speaker 8: he said, quote being woke, it's for losers. Being Republican
- 38:28Speaker 8: is what you want to be. Thank you for your
- 38:29Speaker 8: attention to this matter. End quote. Trump then targeted at
- 38:33Speaker 8: the car company Jaguar and beer giant bud Light for
- 38:37Speaker 8: running ads that are seriously woke. So, and Sidney Sweeney
- 38:41Speaker 8: is a registered Republican too.
- 38:43Speaker 2: So now he's saying the ad is fantastic now now
- 38:46Speaker 2: that he found out that Sidney Sween's registered Republican voter,
- 38:51Speaker 2: So now it's amazing.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:56Speaker 8: Yeah, he's a pop culture president Eddie.
- 39:01Speaker 1: But he don't even know pop culture though. He don't
- 39:03Speaker 1: even understand it though all the time.
- 39:06Speaker 6: That's that's how you know he almost atey. Just be
- 39:09Speaker 6: saying some ignorance stuff. Just fire it off, man.
- 39:14Speaker 1: It'd be crazy, man, because you be going like bruh.
- 39:16Speaker 6: You don't want to think about nothing of it before
- 39:17Speaker 6: you saying. But that's the problem though with narcissists. They
- 39:21Speaker 6: don't run nothing by nobody.
- 39:23Speaker 7: Because they think they know it all their Miss Nichol.
- 39:27Speaker 6: Said something to Boomerang one time that was the most
- 39:30Speaker 6: profound thing she had spent. I told her, I said,
- 39:34Speaker 6: She said, let me teach sounds interesting. I say, hey, listen,
- 39:36Speaker 6: don't motivationalist, I said, I said, Lisa, don't talk to him.
- 39:41Speaker 1: She talked to him for forty five minutes.
- 39:43Speaker 6: So then went back in the room and they were
- 39:45Speaker 6: sitting in there talking and then Boom say, I'll tell
- 39:47Speaker 6: you something else.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I think.
- 39:48Speaker 6: She said, hold on, wait, wait a second. She said,
- 39:51Speaker 6: I've been talking to you for forty five minutes, and
- 39:53Speaker 6: you just said you're finna tell me what you think.
- 39:56Speaker 1: You don't need to go up in your head by
- 39:58Speaker 1: yourself no more.
- 40:00Speaker 6: You should always take somebody with you, And Brud, that
- 40:05Speaker 6: was the most profound thing. She said, you don't need
- 40:08Speaker 6: to go up in your head by yourself no more.
- 40:11Speaker 1: You should always take somebody with you, cause what you come.
- 40:14Speaker 6: Out of that with by yourself, take with you that's traumatized.
- 40:22Speaker 1: That the president needs to take somebody up there. He
- 40:26Speaker 1: needs to take somebody because he just be tweeting.
- 40:29Speaker 6: Get his phone, man, Brud, You're the president of the
- 40:32Speaker 6: United States. You have a whole team of writers that
- 40:35Speaker 6: can better phrase, fix it to how it should sound.

- 48:16Speaker 4: lot of things here at the church. You know, I
- 48:18Speaker 4: hate to be the one to bring you some bad news.
- 48:22Speaker 4: Let me just start by by saying this. God might
- 48:25Speaker 4: not be through with you, but we are here at
- 48:29Speaker 4: the church. It has been brought to our attention, uh,
- 48:32Speaker 4: sister car that you guys are halfway coming to church
- 48:35Speaker 4: and you you you might come once once out of
- 48:38Speaker 4: a month. You're not tithing as we expected. You know,
- 48:42Speaker 4: the church can't really depend on you. It's you you
- 48:45Speaker 4: got you know, you bring your kids. I think your
- 48:48Speaker 4: brother comes to the church, but everybody is coming every
- 48:51Speaker 4: now and then. We cannot depend on you all to
- 48:54Speaker 4: be the members and have the expectation of what we're
- 48:57Speaker 4: trying to do.
- 48:58Speaker 12: What to hold hold on? Hold you say you say
- 49:01Speaker 12: your name is brother, yes, and you work you work
- 49:07Speaker 12: under the DJ. I'm sorry I've never heard of you before.
- 49:11Speaker 4: I have been officiated by the pastor. As I'm over
- 49:14Speaker 4: actually over the finance and we're going through all of
- 49:17Speaker 4: the books and looking at all of the numbers of
- 49:19Speaker 4: the of the members of the church and directory, and
- 49:22Speaker 4: we're noticing what people are paying tied, what people aren't
- 49:25Speaker 4: paying tied, who's coming to church, who's participating in different
- 49:29Speaker 4: and different uh uh ministries, and whatnot. And Sister Takar,
- 49:33Speaker 4: I got I have to be honest with you. You
- 49:35Speaker 4: you you the hell maybe once every one of someone
- 49:38Speaker 4: we might see you might not see you, you know,
- 49:41Speaker 4: and like I said, God may not be through with you.
- 49:44Speaker 12: But we are, okay, you can say that. Listen, Why
- 49:50Speaker 12: I don't understand, like, are y'all monitoring my my my
- 49:54Speaker 12: church going? Like I can't. I have to go every
- 49:58Speaker 12: single week, I mean I can.
- 50:00Speaker 4: Why are you absent so much at the church? Explain that?
- 50:04Speaker 12: I mean, I have three kids, you know, I mean
- 50:08Speaker 12: I have two jobs. Sometimes I don't. I mean, I
- 50:10Speaker 12: still pray. I don't understand how a.
- 50:14Speaker 4: Church can are you got two jobs, but we're not
- 50:18Speaker 4: getting tied Like you got two jobs, you're not tired,
- 50:21Speaker 4: and like you got two.
- 50:22Speaker 12: Jobs because I can't afford you just you just.
- 50:25Speaker 4: Said I got two jobs. That's what you just said, and.
- 50:27Speaker 12: That those two jobs are in support my kids. I mean,
- 50:31Speaker 12: I can't support the church and my kids. Is the
- 50:33Speaker 12: same term I can't vote. I mean I get when
- 50:36Speaker 12: I can.
- 50:38Speaker 4: Let me ask you something. What are you making on
- 50:40Speaker 4: that other job?
- 50:41Speaker 12: Are you siding me this? Are you really?
- 50:44Speaker 4: Really? You?
- 50:45Speaker 12: Really? I didn't know the church?
- 50:48Speaker 4: God?
- 50:49Speaker 12: Is this deep?
- 50:50Speaker 6: Went?
- 50:50Speaker 12: You're really asking me how much I make and my
- 50:53Speaker 12: second job that I cat to support my kids? Come on, now,
- 50:58Speaker 12: it's got to be something.
- 50:59Speaker 4: This is I'm gonna say this to you again. God
- 51:02Speaker 4: may not be through with you, but we are. If
- 51:07Speaker 4: you are gonna pay your tithes, if you're not gonna
- 51:10Speaker 4: come to work on a consistent basis, then what what
- 51:14Speaker 4: do you benefit? The church?
- 51:16Speaker 7: Is that?
- 51:16Speaker 6: What about this?
- 51:19Speaker 4: I'm gonna say this. I'm gonna say this to you.
- 51:21Speaker 4: You Let me tell you what the church is all about?
- 51:24Speaker 4: The church is and.
- 51:25Speaker 12: You say we done with you again?
- 51:28Speaker 6: One more time?
- 51:29Speaker 12: I'm serious.
- 51:30Speaker 4: No, I'm gonna tell you this you're talking about? Is
- 51:32Speaker 4: that what the church is about? Let me tell you
- 51:33Speaker 4: what the church is. The church is a hospital for
- 51:37Speaker 4: crippled souls. You understand that that's what church, that's what
- 51:41Speaker 4: the church is. But when when we have souls that
- 51:44Speaker 4: are coming in to be saved, we are doing our job.
- 51:49Speaker 4: And guess what those people that are coming in, you
- 51:51Speaker 4: know what they're doing. They're tithing. That's what they're doing.
- 51:54Speaker 4: They're tithing you, sister Takara, and I'm sure your soul
- 51:59Speaker 4: is crippled. You're not coming and you're not tying. You
- 52:02Speaker 4: may give us a little some something when you show
- 52:05Speaker 4: up if you show up. Now, am I right or wrong? Mmm?
- 52:09Speaker 12: Okay, let me get what they is straight. This is
- 52:12Speaker 12: what you called me for in the middle of my
- 52:15Speaker 12: work day to tell me that you're kicking me out
- 52:18Speaker 12: the church because I don't give enough money to the
- 52:21Speaker 12: church while I'm at my job that I can barely
- 52:26Speaker 12: afford to pay my bills with. So that a fact,
- 52:29Speaker 12: I don't even know who you are. I've never met
- 52:31Speaker 12: you in my life, and I don't even know what
- 52:34Speaker 12: this church.
- 52:35Speaker 4: You know?
- 52:35Speaker 1: This church.
- 52:36Speaker 12: I hate to say it, but if that's what the
- 52:38Speaker 12: church is about, you have the nerve to call me.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Okay, now let me say something. Now you're being very
- 52:49Speaker 4: Unchristian like. Now does the guard where you're gonna watch it.
- 52:53Speaker 4: Don't in your language in this is not Christian, like,
- 52:57Speaker 4: well do you do? You know brother Dwayne? Isn't that
- 53:00Speaker 4: your brother?
- 53:02Speaker 1: Okay?
- 53:02Speaker 4: And my brother Dwayne is who told me to call you?
- 53:08Speaker 12: Really my brother? So what so what is this about?
- 53:11Speaker 6: Huh?
- 53:12Speaker 4: Whatever?
- 53:13Speaker 12: I don't know. What is your name?

- 53:33Speaker 12: you can't meet by from this job. I meant the
- 53:36Speaker 12: lobby screaming my looking.

- 53:48Speaker 12: No normal? Oh my god, oh my god. My heart
- 53:54Speaker 12: is racing.
- 53:55Speaker 4: Tell me that's the card. What is the baddest and
- 53:58Speaker 4: I mean the baddest radio sho in the land, Steve Harvey.

- 57:47Speaker 8: A ring on her right hand that is identical to
- 57:51Speaker 8: the right hand ring my husband, Julius, gave me for
- 57:54Speaker 8: Valentine's Day this year. My heart was racing so fast
- 57:58Speaker 8: when I complimented her on the ring and I showed
- 58:01Speaker 8: her my ring, she said her life partner gave it
- 58:05Speaker 8: to her for Valentine's Day.
- 58:07Speaker 7: I asked her his name, and she said it's Julius.
- 58:12Speaker 8: She had no idea, no idea that my heart was
- 58:16Speaker 8: about to jump out of my body. Maybe she does
- 58:19Speaker 8: not know that Julius is married, and she was unaware
- 58:23Speaker 8: that I'm his wife.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Or was she?
- 58:26Speaker 8: I skipped my appointment and went to Julius's job and
- 58:29Speaker 8: asked him to step outside.
- 58:31Speaker 7: I told him that I've met his.
- 58:33Speaker 8: Life partner, and he dropped to his knees and cried uncontrollably.
- 58:39Speaker 8: He told me that he loves us both the same,
- 58:41Speaker 8: but he never ever would have let her come between
- 58:44Speaker 8: our marriage.
- 58:45Speaker 3: He said.
- 58:46Speaker 8: He has two outside children, and he pays her mortgage
- 58:50Speaker 8: and spends a considerable amount of time with her and
- 58:54Speaker 8: the children.
- 58:55Speaker 7: I don't know what to do now. I don't want
- 58:58Speaker 7: to leave him. Would I'd be crazy to stay? What
- 59:02Speaker 7: should I do?
- 59:03Speaker 4: Oh?
- 59:03Speaker 1: It'd sure.
- 59:05Speaker 7: I don't have a lot to say on this one, Okay,
- 59:08Speaker 7: I don't.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I don't have a lot to say on this let's
- 59:10Speaker 1: say business. I said a lot.
- 59:14Speaker 7: Listen, calm and bring it down.
- 59:18Speaker 1: I'm disgusted by your husband's behavior.
- 59:20Speaker 8: I really am and I don't know how he could
- 59:23Speaker 8: have gotten away with this for eleven years.
- 59:26Speaker 7: Eleven years. I know you want to stay in this,
- 59:29Speaker 7: but you got to get out of this marriage. It's over.
- 59:31Speaker 8: Your husband has caused you some unimaginable pain. I know
- 59:35Speaker 8: he has the worst being unprotected sex with a so
- 59:39Speaker 8: called life partner, him saying he loves you both, and
- 59:43Speaker 8: having two kids by her. I know you're hurt. I
- 59:46Speaker 8: know you're confused. I know you're feeling betrayed right now.
- 59:49Speaker 8: But after you throw him out and get yourself together,
- 59:52Speaker 8: you got to try to pick up the pieces and
- 59:54Speaker 8: move on from this. He doesn't deserve you. He can
- 59:57Speaker 8: have his life partner as far as I'm concerned. Then
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: he'll see how he hurts you and destroyed this family.
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: I know you said you love him and you don't
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: want to lead, but what choice do you really have
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: in this. You're gonna be one of his two wives
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: or whatever. I mean eleven years of cheating. You will
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: never ever be able to trust this man again ever,
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: and that makes this marriage older or over because he
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: broke the trust.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: Steve, I'm the marriage counselor Well, well, let us review
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: in the you know only the ways that I can
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: trust and believe. I've been married twenty seven year or
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: to a man that's listened to me, y'all, has given
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: me a beautiful life for me and our four children.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: He has been to every school program, graduation, medical appointment,
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: all the extra curriculum activities. He has showered this woman
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: with gifts on special occasions and on ordinary days of
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: the week. For a man, What a man, What a
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: mighty good man. These are as salt and pepper lyrics
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: in Vogue lyrics. This is why I can't believe what
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: I found out recently. And she says for the pass
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: eleven years he's been dealing with a woman that lives
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: forty five miles from my house and got two children
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: by this woman. My only comment in here is, oh Lord,
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: then I went to get botox. Here we go. Now
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: you don't you gonna hate me for this? But this
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: is the problem in this whole day. WI to get
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: Vold talk. If you had just accepted the way God
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: made instead of trying to improve on what he had
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: already done. You're married to a wonderful man that has
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: given you a beautiful life and made every school appointment.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: He's been here the graduation extra curriculum activities and the
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: shower of gifts. But oh no, you down there thinking
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: you one of these people on social media that you
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: took your down here to get yourself some boattos and
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: sitting up in the room and in the room with
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: a woman and her ten year old son and the
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: boy named Julius, and he looked exactly like my nineteen.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Year old son.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: Obviously this is an attractive man because he's not down
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: there getting himself a botox.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: The open hea pick got to carry down there botox.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: I don't know what he doing y'all in that bedroom
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: that's recorded, but this boy right here is bringing it.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: He is bringing it.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: So both y'all got to go get Phyllis whoa hats
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: off to this name?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: All right, Steve hailed a handbasket, Yeah, all right.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: We'll have part two of your response coming up today
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: Strawberry Letter. My husband and his life partner will get
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: into it right after this.
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: The Moment of Truth has arrived. Ice Cube and the
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: Big Three Playoffs alive from Dallas this Sunday, three pm

- 1:03:48Speaker 10: CBS this Sunday, three pm Eastern, twelve pm Pacific.
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: My husband and his life partner.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: The name of this letter should be old father.
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: God.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: This won't have been married twenty seven years to man.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: They got four children. He's been there every school appointment,
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: extracurriculum activity, medical appointment, graduations and everything. The student is outstanding.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: He has showered this woman with gifts on every special
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: occasion and on ordinary days too. She has no complaint.
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: He is a wonderful man. Now she's shocked to find
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: out that this man has been dealing with a woman
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: that lived forty five miles from her house. They had
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: two children with this woman.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: And you know how she found this out?
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: Tell them she took herself down there to get some bowtops.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: All this is because of a bowt hox A.
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: If you'd have just left your mouth the way it was,
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: sitting up in here, going down here, getting your eyes,
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: get your frown took out, all this here, filler, what
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: do you say, all this feeling like you are a
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: celebrity or something, all yours?
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Just stay regular? You didn't have both kids.
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: Regular people get botox.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: See for the past eleven years, he been dealing with
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: this woman. I went down here to get botox, and
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: you sitting in the waiting room with this woman and
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: her ten year old son. What's the likelihood of that
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: unless the odd the botex doctor. The botox doctor is
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: a friend of his. And once again he was getting
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: a two for one. See that two for one, gonna
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: make his pay. And I'm gonna tell you what's it.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: So he got a friend of his, he played golf
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: with that do botox. He sent both of his women
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: down there to the botox friend. Didn't know they're gonna
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: book the appointment on the same day. She's sitting up
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: in the room with this woman and her son, ten
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: year old son. The boy's name is Julius, and he
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: looked exactly like her. My nineteen year old son. My
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: husband name is Julie. Oh lord gee. This woman was
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: wearing a ring on her right hand that was identical
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: to the right hand to ring. My husband, Julius gave
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: me for Valentine's Day another two for one this right here.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: If he would just pay.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: Full price for something, he just sent everybody down here.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: Oh lord, her mercy a cheap cheater. Anyway, my heart
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: was racing so fast. When I complimented hrs on the
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: ring and I showed her my ring, she said her
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: life partner gave it to her old Valentine's Day. I
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: asked her his name, and she said it's Julius. She
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: had no idea that my heart was about to jump
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: out of my body. Maybe she does not know that
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Julius is married, and she was unaware that I'm his wife.
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: Of course she don't know. You didn't know for eleven years.

- 1:07:26Speaker 1: This the cold part of women, she said.
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: I told him I met your life partner, and he
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: dropped to his knees and cried uncontrolled. This eleven years
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: a hold in this secret, I know here where he cried.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: He told me he loves us both the same, but

- 1:13:53Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, a lady
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: does not want her sister Steve at her house and
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: she needs some advice. We'll get into that right after this.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: from Felicity in Evanston. She says, I'm having a minor

- 1:14:16Speaker 8: in to take care of me.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I will only be out of work.
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: For a week, and I do not want her here
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: reorganizing my kitchen and making me look like I and
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: feel like I don't know how to keep a house.
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: That will be stressful for me. And my husband doesn't
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: understand that. Why is he so adamant about her coming?
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: How do I politely now politely tell my sister not
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: to come?
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: He already trying to let you know he don't want
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: to take care that right there is probably because he
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: don't know how. He don't want to cause you know
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: me and are really really not nurturing? Is not really
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: what we do.

- 1:18:59Speaker 8: Well, a trip to the said Antonio Aquarium turned into
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: a wild and unexpected encounter for a Texas mom and
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: her six year old son when a giant octopus latched
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: on to her son and wrapped his tentacles around the
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: boy's arm. The mom shared their shocking story with photos
- 1:19:15Speaker 8: of the incident on TikTok. It took three aquarium employees
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: and a few ice packs to finally get the octopus
- 1:19:21Speaker 8: to release him. Her son was left with purple suction
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: marks on his arm, but otherwise uninjured, Thank God. Experts
- 1:19:28Speaker 8: say octopuses are incredibly intelligent and emotional creatures.
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: I'm gonna introduce this octopus to film. He even to
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: have black ink all in the water if you grab

- 1:20:02Speaker 6: that oct because since he's so smart, Yes, how do
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: I get this black woman off of me?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: And tell me?
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: What was the question you asked?
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: As said of your uncle? Black girl? White?
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: Black?
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: White?
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: What asked Steve as Steve? Yeah, somewhere it ain't suposed
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: to be too close, curious. Let's just go over all
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: the key words and then ain't nothing gonna happen?
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: They're all this and you asked that question.

- 1:22:18Speaker 8: Would you rather retire and live on a private island
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: with great fishing or would you rather live in a
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: penthouse in a building that has a casino and a
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: five star restaurant?
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: What I'm all in the casino. I'm in that building.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: I'm in that I got a lot happening in that building.
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: I thought you'd like to fish too. Okay, So Steve,
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: what's yours?
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: You can't have that gambling right downstairs?
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: You're not that strong.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: Not be up all night. I don't get no sleep
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: though you're on the private island with fishing. Yeah, I'd
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: be up in the morning on the radio. Sound like
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: junior high pitched voice.
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: Would you rather a tongue tied when aroused or would
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: you rather get cross eyed?
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: I do both of them when I get around one
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: of them, See, Steve, same.
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: I've actually been I've actually been incredibly incoherent.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I'm talking about I thought I was actually saying words
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: uh huh and nothing. Okay.
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: Would you rather work as an oil change technician or
- 1:23:32Speaker 8: work as a taxi driver?
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: Or oh now, I worked in the oil pits at
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: Ford Motor Company. Uh huh, Okay, then I'm going to
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: be the taxi driver, all right?
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Okay? Last one? Would you rather be known for being
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: funny or be known for being a sex symbol? Both? Both?

- 1:25:26Speaker 1: I ain't been bent over and like that fire. Today
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: it was really last I truly needed today too. Yeah,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: I got so. I got some good sleep last night.
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: All right, come on close this down.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: You guys got questions, Tommy Carly, guys got a.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Question, Carlo Steve, Where would you be if you hadn't
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: followed your dream?
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: You know that's so I've often thought of that. I've
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: hundreds of times, and I think that's important for people.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I have some theories, but let me
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: say this. Let me start by saying this.
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: If I had not followed my dream, if it would
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: have been one of the greatest travesties I had ever committed,
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: And the same goals for anybody else. If you don't
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: follow your dream, if you don't do that thing that
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: keeps you up at night, if you don't pursue.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: That thing that you think about NonStop.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: I don't care what job you own. Your mind gravitates
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: back to this one thing. If I could do this,
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: if only I was this, This is what I really
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: want to be, This is what I really want to do.
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: If you ignore that, if you let the complications of
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: life interfere with that, if you allow your credit score
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: to get in the way, if you allow your bills
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: to get in your way, if you allow your family
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: to interfere with that, it will be one of your
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: great regrets in life. Bishop Jake said one time something
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: that really really resonated with me. He said, I would
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: hate to die and never do the thing that I
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: was born to do. There are so many people who
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: will leave this earth with their gift packed away very
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: neatly on their back in a backpack. And people don't
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: pursue their dreams for several reasons. But the number one
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: reason that people do not pursue their dreams and go
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: for the thing they after is fear. Fear is the
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: number one cause of failure in this world. The fear
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: of failure fear freezes you.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: What if it don't work. What if I don't make it?
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: What if they say no?
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: What if I get booed? What if they don't like me?
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: What if somebody already down there? What if I lose everything?
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: What happens to my career if I pursue my dream? Okay,
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: you can reason away it if you want to. You
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: can reason it away if you want to. It would
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: be one of the greatest regrets of your life. I
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: am so grateful that I don't have to live a
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: life of regret. If you are in the regret stage
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: of your life, get out of it. If you ain't there.
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: I wish I would have wished I had a I
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: should have could have would have stopped. Stop today. It's
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: never too late to give God a chance. God is
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: in to turn your life around.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Business.
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: I've seen him do it to too many people. I've
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: seen God. He did it to me, point blank. He
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: did it to me turn my life completely around. Oftentimes,
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: as Carla asked a question, what would you be doing?
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: I was thinking of the last positions that I had
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: worked at Ford Motor Company, worked at Lincoln Electric, worked
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: at General Electric. I had a carpet cleaning company. I
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: had a carpet installation company. I had a real joint
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: with aj Jamaoul.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: I had.
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: I sold door to door insurance with a book, you know,
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: an account book. It was called a debit debit company
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: where you your insurance man used to come by the
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: house and collect the premiums from your mammy. It was
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: all in the hood. I had that job, man, man,
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: None of that even compas to what I have today.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: And here's the other thing. Stop trying to figure out
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: your whole life, because that's impossible to do. If I
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: had the ability when I left my last job to
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: pursue this business that I'm in today, had God showed
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: me the pathway that I would have to take, if
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: he had shown me the whole journey, it's no way
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: I would have signed up for this. I'd have stayed
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: right on back there, my nice little comfortable life. Because
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: man o, man o, man, he cannot expose to you
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: what you're going to have to go through, because everything
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: you go through is preparing you for what you want.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: And the more you want, the greater the price, the
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: higher the toll. Now, if you don't want nothing, then
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: just don't want nothing. Then ain't nothing gonna happen to you.
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: But I don't know what I would do if I
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: had never pursued my dreams. I don't know what you
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: would do. And if you're in that process right now
- 1:31:30Speaker 6: and you having a life of regret, stop, you only
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: got one life. You go around one time. Stop, Go
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: do your life, man, because you only get one shot
- 1:31:41Speaker 6: at it. Have a great one today, y'all talk to
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: God today. He'd absolutely love to hear from you. And
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: your gift back to God. God's gift to.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: You is your gift. Your gift back to God is
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: the use of it. That's what you need to consider,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: all right.
