- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like American buck things. And it's not doing me
- 0:19Speaker 1: true good at Steve hard to move tother, Steve barn Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joined me to be doing me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn out. Then turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby at it? Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now wanting only Steve Harvey man
- 2:10Speaker 1: old man, got a radio show. Yeah, I do. God
- 2:13Speaker 1: so big to me, man, I just have to tell
- 2:16Speaker 1: you about it. I can't help it. It's rather obvious
- 2:20Speaker 1: to me how big, how good God is. He's absolutely tremendous.
- 2:25Speaker 1: He's off the chain. He owned one, he'd be clowning,
- 2:32Speaker 1: he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm just over here,
- 2:35Speaker 1: just on receiving it. You know, if you're out there,
- 2:40Speaker 1: start your mission today, Start your mission today? What are
- 2:46Speaker 1: you waiting for? Why do we as people delay what
- 2:53Speaker 1: we want or delay the process to begin what we one?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Our hopes, our dreams, our desires. Why won't you start
- 3:04Speaker 1: your mission today? Why don't we all decide together that
- 3:10Speaker 1: just individually. Look, you're listening. You got something that you've
- 3:15Speaker 1: been dreaming about. You got an ambition of yours that's
- 3:18Speaker 1: not yet fulfilled. You got goals you haven't accomplished yet.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Everybody has them. Everybody's got them. Everybody's got something that's
- 3:27Speaker 1: that's on the table that they haven't yet attacked yet.
- 3:31Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Start your mission today? Stop
- 3:34Speaker 1: the procrastination now. The procrastination is only hurting you yourself.
- 3:41Speaker 1: If you got a goal or aspiration to dream and
- 3:44Speaker 1: you fall off track momentarily, you can get back to
- 3:48Speaker 1: that because God knows where you're left off. Now. You
- 3:52Speaker 1: may have to accomplish a few more things since you
- 3:54Speaker 1: stop for a long period of time, but God know
- 3:57Speaker 1: where you left off. You can get back on track.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I look, man, this dream of being on TV since
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was a kid, and it got off track. Now
- 4:06Speaker 1: it got off track. I just kept it as one
- 4:08Speaker 1: of the dreams, and in some real dog moments when
- 4:12Speaker 1: it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I was
- 4:15Speaker 1: hanging on too was just the hope that one day
- 4:17Speaker 1: it could. But that's what faith is really about. Faith
- 4:22Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see. But
- 4:25Speaker 1: faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man. Sometimes
- 4:30Speaker 1: it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said,
- 4:34Speaker 1: just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's just the hope.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I was hanging on the hope. And I'm talking about
- 4:41Speaker 1: when it got real ugly and funky out there for me,
- 4:45Speaker 1: when it looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and all of the facts was in and everything pointed
- 4:51Speaker 1: in the direction you're not gonna make it. You didn't
- 4:54Speaker 1: really messed up this time. Then I sat there and
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just hung on to the hope. But man, that's
- 5:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a dream on aspiration
- 5:05Speaker 1: of vision or something, when you fall off track and
- 5:08Speaker 1: you want to go get back in line, God holds
- 5:11Speaker 1: your place. See he held on to that fum me.
- 5:15Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 5:17Speaker 1: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:20Speaker 1: be on TV that when you get it together and
- 5:22Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place. Put you back in line,
- 5:26Speaker 1: then we're gonna finish the journey that took me a
- 5:28Speaker 1: lot longer to give here than I wanted to. But
- 5:31Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of it
- 5:34Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:38Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:44Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 5:46Speaker 1: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 5:52Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 5:54Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I've been through enough where
- 5:58Speaker 1: it's relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that happened
- 6:01Speaker 1: to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I didn't,
- 6:07Speaker 1: I didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:12Speaker 1: lot of stuff he was pulling off on me, But
- 6:15Speaker 1: in essence, I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:21Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:26Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:31Speaker 1: there and died wrong. He forgave me, He said, because, man,
- 6:35Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:46Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Now see threw it me yet? Nope? Have I I
- 7:00Speaker 1: have jet? Nope? But guess what the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 1: You know. It's like I was talking to this young
- 7:07Speaker 1: brother the other day about comedy. He's really good stand up.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know, this young dude is really good. He said, Man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: what is this I feel every night before I go
- 7:17Speaker 1: on stage. I don't know what it is. I just
- 7:20Speaker 1: wanted off me, I said, sir, listen to me, you
- 7:23Speaker 1: young dude. This thing that climbs on my back every
- 7:27Speaker 1: night before I go on stage. I don't know what
- 7:30Speaker 1: it is. It's got something to do with pressure, it's
- 7:33Speaker 1: got something to do with anticipation. It's got a whole
- 7:36Speaker 1: lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 7:39Speaker 1: what you mean by that, I said, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 1: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:44Speaker 1: and step off a cliff. I said, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:48Speaker 1: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 1: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:53Speaker 1: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:56Speaker 1: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now these jokes provide
- 8:00Speaker 1: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 1: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:08Speaker 1: then I take the audience this way and I swing
- 8:11Speaker 1: them back over that way. We might swing out to
- 8:14Speaker 1: the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami with
- 8:17Speaker 1: this joke. We may take it on out to LA
- 8:19Speaker 1: and I just swing back and forth till I land softly.
- 8:23Speaker 1: The crowd cheers. The night is over with, I said,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but it's been too many nights though. When I walked
- 8:28Speaker 1: off that cliff and I pulled the cord in, the
- 8:30Speaker 1: parachute didn't open. I said. Now I'm just free falling
- 8:34Speaker 1: out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working. Ain't
- 8:37Speaker 1: the parachute didn't open. I said, So see, that's what
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's like for me, and then you know what I
- 8:43Speaker 1: found out. If you didn't walked off the cliff in life,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and you ain't got no God in your life, it's
- 8:49Speaker 1: like not having a parachute. You step off the cliff
- 8:53Speaker 1: and you just free falling. Now see we all now
- 8:57Speaker 1: that fall gets you closer to the grave, right, See,
- 9:00Speaker 1: were all head into the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:05Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 9:12Speaker 1: nice ride, and God just helps your your descent appear
- 9:16Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric
- 9:19Speaker 1: fall instead of not having no God in your life
- 9:23Speaker 1: and you just walking off that cliff every day free falling.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, you steady pulling, you hauling the
- 9:30Speaker 1: whole way because you messed around with yourself and ain't
- 9:33Speaker 1: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 9:36Speaker 1: for you. I would rather have a parachute since I
- 9:40Speaker 1: got to jump every day than to not have one.
- 9:43Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 9:47Speaker 1: why where that came from? I can't tell you, But
- 9:51Speaker 1: like I always say most good things that happened in
- 9:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain, it's usually him. You're listening,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, may have your undivided attention. Please, it
- 10:05Speaker 1: is the blessing has to be gun. We are all
- 10:08Speaker 1: up again. All praise to God for that we are
- 10:11Speaker 1: alive as well. And so today begins another opportunity. So
- 10:17Speaker 1: today's show I have decided to dedicate to those people
- 10:22Speaker 1: who are seeking new opportunities. That's right, new opportunities. People
- 10:30Speaker 1: who are trying to be more than they all ready
- 10:34Speaker 1: are trying to accomplish more than they've already accomplished, seeking
- 10:39Speaker 1: more than they've all ready found. Those are the people
- 10:43Speaker 1: this show is dedicated to today. I happen to be
- 10:46Speaker 1: one of those people, always striving to be better, get better,
- 10:52Speaker 1: be better, have better, Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:57Speaker 1: Shirleys Trowbury. I learned not from you, Steve, put it
- 11:01Speaker 1: check in that box from me. Good morning. I call
- 11:05Speaker 1: it for real. I am with you on that, Steve.
- 11:09Speaker 1: You said this the other day. I'm with it. Opportunity.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Good Friday morning, crew, Junior boy, did you see where
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm at now? In my life just by following you. Man,
- 11:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to get some moke. Boy. So glad I
- 11:23Speaker 1: met you step talking about where like it was a
- 11:28Speaker 1: for real location. Yeah yeah, I thought, you know, it's early,
- 11:33Speaker 1: so I'm said where I'm fielding in the Middle East.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I'm in sharing show. I don't really know what time
- 11:40Speaker 1: it did time. I'm so confused where Jee answered Brown,
- 11:47Speaker 1: Thank you so much because when I left over there,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I had nowhere to go, thank you, And now I'm
- 11:53Speaker 1: over here? What ye? And they told me nowhere but
- 12:07Speaker 1: not not blowing your lips? Yeah, heer, you ain't gonna
- 12:14Speaker 1: ever mount to nothing. Somebody someone told you not to Jay.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's not I'm mad at nobody because I'm here. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: that's right, that's right. Decase, what's happening in Marcus, boy?
- 12:38Speaker 1: I all heard that everybody everybody happen. Yeah h So
- 12:45Speaker 1: we got to talk about Halloween coming up? I know, yes, Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 1: let's talk about it, Jay, Jay's favorite holiday. It is.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I have a sign in my yard that says I'm
- 12:57Speaker 1: gonna die better. And if I can't have Kenny, neither
- 13:00Speaker 1: can you, and I turn all my lights out. I
- 13:01Speaker 1: don't even give it up. Evil. And here's a good
- 13:06Speaker 1: fan on Halloween too. Here's a lot of things. What
- 13:10Speaker 1: if you can't afford to participate in Halloween? Hearing your
- 13:14Speaker 1: damn light off? So noah, So what do you mean like,
- 13:19Speaker 1: if you can't afford to candy? You got to call
- 13:22Speaker 1: ask somebody send you candy money. You'll need to be
- 13:24Speaker 1: doing Halloween, not cash app candy money, cash app handy money.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Really well, listen, coming up to thirty two after the hour,
- 13:36Speaker 1: we're gonna get a real Halloween recap and Steven is
- 13:39Speaker 1: gonna update us on his trip right after this. You're listening,
- 13:46Speaker 1: all right, guys, So we gotta find out about Halloween.
- 13:49Speaker 1: We'll get another update of course, on Steve's trip over
- 13:52Speaker 1: there where he is in Sharjah. Uh. So Steve, we
- 13:55Speaker 1: will start with you, Um, how's everything going? And well
- 14:00Speaker 1: what are you doing? What are you up to now?
- 14:02Speaker 1: It's really interesting. I was invited a special guest of
- 14:07Speaker 1: His Highness um his hand check. Yeah you know I've
- 14:16Speaker 1: been sitting I've been sitting right next to the check
- 14:20Speaker 1: the ruler of charging. Wow. Wow wow man. And so
- 14:26Speaker 1: I was invited by him and because the book for
- 14:30Speaker 1: is very important him, He's very very educated. He was
- 14:32Speaker 1: educated in London. He has two PhDs. Brilliant man and
- 14:38Speaker 1: they have a man let me tell you what he
- 14:40Speaker 1: does over here. He has a system in charging where
- 14:45Speaker 1: the minimum a person can make is five thousand dollars.
- 14:51Speaker 1: That's the minimum. He doesn't believe that a person shouldn't
- 14:54Speaker 1: have five thousand dollars a month minimum so he can
- 14:58Speaker 1: afford to live, get married and buy a house. Oh nicely.
- 15:03Speaker 1: If if you are here and you get an educational system,
- 15:08Speaker 1: they give you the money for the education if you graduate.
- 15:13Speaker 1: If you graduate, you get an extra twenty five thousand dollars.
- 15:19Speaker 1: If your spouse graduates, she gets an extra twenty five
- 15:24Speaker 1: thousand dollars. So now look at how your lifestyle has
- 15:28Speaker 1: picked up. And on top all that, whatever job you got,
- 15:34Speaker 1: whatever your career field is, it's it's it's it's an
- 15:38Speaker 1: amazing setup. Man. Very high No no, no no, no,
- 15:45Speaker 1: it's very reasonable. It's it's not not as expensive as
- 15:49Speaker 1: the US, not as expensive as the US. Now they
- 15:52Speaker 1: have very high end over here. You know, they've got
- 15:55Speaker 1: you know, people who are more wealthy than others. Just
- 15:58Speaker 1: isn't socialism or everybody at the same thing? What is
- 16:02Speaker 1: he still capitalism working very very well? Oh? Yes, different
- 16:07Speaker 1: classes here, yeah, except that there are no homeless people here. Wow. Wow.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Unemployment is zero point one six everybody working zero point
- 16:23Speaker 1: one point. If you're not working, it's because you don't
- 16:26Speaker 1: want to. Are you taking some time off to find
- 16:29Speaker 1: something else? Really? Really really kind people over here? Man,
- 16:33Speaker 1: very very kind, very kind. Wow. And so I was
- 16:37Speaker 1: over here speaking the keynote as the at the Charger
- 16:42Speaker 1: International Book Fair. I also made an announcement and later
- 16:47Speaker 1: today I'm having very very important meetings with some people
- 16:54Speaker 1: about something that I've been working on for quite some
- 16:57Speaker 1: time that I'm sure Shirley is a where of. Well
- 17:01Speaker 1: little did I know? Yeah, that this was very timely
- 17:04Speaker 1: because now today I will be striking a deal today
- 17:10Speaker 1: m h concerning something that I'm working on, and I
- 17:14Speaker 1: won't announce it until after I do it, because Shirley Strawberry,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I want to thank her again, it was very much
- 17:19Speaker 1: a part of it. Put your strawberry right. I'm trying
- 17:27Speaker 1: to figure out what I know, I don't I know.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I know I'm heaping it on you, Shirley. Okay, just
- 17:33Speaker 1: in case that's what you need. But Shirley helped me
- 17:37Speaker 1: out a great deal with the project, and so I
- 17:39Speaker 1: will be telling you all about it. When I ask
- 17:42Speaker 1: the question, yes you can't go, Yes you can't well me.
- 17:48Speaker 1: The rest of us announcement not at all, not a
- 17:53Speaker 1: would be some hate coming from Tommy over the Houston Astro.
- 18:00Speaker 1: He couldn't even make an end. You can't. I don't
- 18:03Speaker 1: know how that. The only thing I know what happened
- 18:07Speaker 1: is that will be some hate from term and it's
- 18:11Speaker 1: not real like hate hate hate. You know, it ain't
- 18:15Speaker 1: like I wish bad on you. It's something like damn
- 18:19Speaker 1: ye hate. It's God like you better than me type hate,
- 18:24Speaker 1: which is not true because the same yeah line to
- 18:31Speaker 1: Jesus hate what for you now? Exactly exactly here he come?
- 18:41Speaker 1: That all sounds wonderful, um, you know, upating us, yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: letting us know what's going on. And so when I
- 18:49Speaker 1: leave here, I'll be going to Boswanna and then I
- 18:54Speaker 1: want to leave by Swanna. I'll be heading to Ghana.
- 18:58Speaker 1: And once I leave Ghana, I go to Joe Bird
- 19:01Speaker 1: and then I'll come home because I have another spectacular
- 19:05Speaker 1: announcement to make and I think I'll save that for
- 19:08Speaker 1: next week. God Glory has tripped. Do it? Do it?
- 19:15Speaker 1: What do you do? He's done? That's why get mad? Here?
- 19:26Speaker 1: What are we here for you? Wow? Well that's that
- 19:39Speaker 1: really is good news, Steve Um. We're gonna move on
- 19:42Speaker 1: and talk about Halloween because we gotta find out how
- 19:47Speaker 1: it went at your house, Carlo. You had a big party.
- 19:50Speaker 1: We saw your costume. You looked you looked really good. Girl,
- 19:53Speaker 1: you really did it. I love you, guys. She was
- 20:00Speaker 1: a hunted house. His mama was a hunted house, and
- 20:02Speaker 1: it was it was okay, Jay, come on, girl, the
- 20:11Speaker 1: champ is here. That was my costume. I was the champ.
- 20:14Speaker 1: So it was fun. It was cute. Thank you, Thank you.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And Tasha was Isis, which was Gabrielle Union's character from
- 20:21Speaker 1: the movie Bring It On, and we all know Gabrielle
- 20:24Speaker 1: Union dressed up as herself again. All right, I hope
- 20:28Speaker 1: you had a good time too on Halloween. Coming up next,
- 20:31Speaker 1: Nephews out, we'll decide between Steve Junior and Team Tommy
- 20:36Speaker 1: Jay Anthony Brown. Who's gonna bring up the run that
- 20:39Speaker 1: prank back? Who's going to introduce it here? Right after
- 20:41Speaker 1: this you're listening to show coming up at the top
- 20:48Speaker 1: of the Hour and entertainment news stars go all out
- 20:52Speaker 1: with their Halloween costumes. Are Kelly missus court day because
- 20:55Speaker 1: of a toenail infection? You and in National news, two
- 21:00Speaker 1: Democrats vote with the Republicans. They are against the impeachment
- 21:05Speaker 1: proceedings of the president. We'll talk about that. We'll talk
- 21:08Speaker 1: about all of these stories as a matter of fact
- 21:10Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But right now, Junior
- 21:12Speaker 1: is in for the nephew to run that Frank back
- 21:15Speaker 1: what you got for his junior? Pee on my house?
- 21:20Speaker 1: Pay all my house? Hi? Hi, everybody gotta pay might
- 21:27Speaker 1: well be on the house. The question is is someone
- 21:30Speaker 1: asking him a question? In between the introduction of the
- 21:34Speaker 1: pink nobody. We never say nothing because he says, heard
- 21:40Speaker 1: of here. Now Jake will come out? Do Tommy coming out?
- 21:45Speaker 1: Will we come out of Frank running cat? Hello? Hello,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a uh mister, I think that's
- 21:56Speaker 1: the name. Yeah, this is what's this in regard to
- 22:00Speaker 1: just about the air conditioning unit. You did some workoff
- 22:03Speaker 1: force over on uh my household off street. Do you
- 22:06Speaker 1: remember coming out there last week? Yeah? Yeah, I remember, yeah, right,
- 22:11Speaker 1: my Uh it was a lady that my wife she
- 22:13Speaker 1: let you in to come out right right. Their problems
- 22:16Speaker 1: is their problem that is not cooling what no, no, no, no,
- 22:19Speaker 1: it's cooling everything. Matter of fact, I want to tell you,
- 22:21Speaker 1: uh that you did you did a good job. But
- 22:24Speaker 1: I got a question for you now. When you was
- 22:26Speaker 1: at the house and you was working on the air
- 22:29Speaker 1: condition out there in the backyard, did you did you
- 22:32Speaker 1: happen to go on the side of my house and
- 22:36Speaker 1: pull out and use the bathroom right there on the side.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Did you go then and you do number one on
- 22:42Speaker 1: the side of my house? Well, what I'm saying is
- 22:45Speaker 1: that my wife tells me that when you were there,
- 22:48Speaker 1: that you you went on the side. She was looking

- 23:29Speaker 1: lot of fluids and the tend to pass through looking
- 23:31Speaker 1: once and once again. I said, I apologize. I understand
- 23:34Speaker 1: all that, but you know what, I can't accept no

- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm the only person at my house. You understand me.
- 24:24Speaker 1: You ain't light as she out there looking at me.
- 24:26Speaker 1: But look here, fun, I'm a professional. Okay. I do
- 24:30Speaker 1: my job and I take my job with prime. Okay,
- 24:33Speaker 1: it's not being professional. If there's something that I did,
- 24:35Speaker 1: that's that water running through me. Right, okay, but you don't.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You don't at no other man's house. And you at
- 24:42Speaker 1: my house and my wife's sitting there looking at you
- 24:44Speaker 1: out to wonder. I got a problem with that. What
- 24:47Speaker 1: you need to have problem with your wife looking at me?
- 24:50Speaker 1: If that's what I did? You know what? You need
- 24:53Speaker 1: to be at home and get with something to look
- 24:55Speaker 1: at other than looking at me. You don't tell me
- 24:58Speaker 1: what I need to do about my wife. Now, you
- 25:00Speaker 1: don't go to another man. Man, you know what, I'm
- 25:03Speaker 1: about to lose it, all right, now you're gonna you're

- 29:03Speaker 1: went all out with their Halloween costumes last night. Did
- 29:06Speaker 1: you see everyone on social media? I love this one.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Ellen DeGeneres was Cardie Okay, I know, I know little
- 29:19Speaker 1: brats off. I saw the trailer for when she, you know,
- 29:24Speaker 1: was promoting her Halloween show. She said, you know, I
- 29:27Speaker 1: like to show my pumpkins on Halloween trip. Yes, Sierra
- 29:34Speaker 1: and Russell Wilson, they were jay Z and Beyonce the Carters,
- 29:37Speaker 1: you know that kid. They nailed it. Yeah, they really did.
- 29:41Speaker 1: They really did good. Um and their kids were the
- 29:45Speaker 1: Jackson's when they were younger. So cute. And Michael Janet
- 29:51Speaker 1: and Michael Okay. Uh. Kim Kardashian was Elwoods from Legally Blonde.
- 29:56Speaker 1: You know because she's going to law school and everything. U. Yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 1: that was cute. Ashley Graham was Jessica Rabbit. Oh yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 1: she's got the body for that, doesn't she. Uh. Kylie
- 30:09Speaker 1: Jenner was I see now I'm looking forward now. Kylie
- 30:14Speaker 1: Jenner was Arielle from Little Mermaid, and she was Marilyn Monroe.
- 30:18Speaker 1: She she was two costumes, she had two costumes. Yea. Uh.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, oh my god, did you see him as
- 30:25Speaker 1: the run who was nailed? He was the rock, the rock.
- 30:34Speaker 1: It was really good. It was I mean he nailed everything.
- 30:39Speaker 1: The fanny pack. Yeah. And of course our very o.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Carla Farrell was female boxing Champion her nah and Tasha
- 30:51Speaker 1: your Daughter was Gabrielle Union's character Iss from Bring It On.
- 30:55Speaker 1: So cute. That was so cute. Yes, yeah, cheer leader yep, yep, yea.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I set the picture. Steve was like when where's Tasha's costume?
- 31:02Speaker 1: Ain't you from the movie? Yes, you know, he didn't
- 31:08Speaker 1: see bring it on? You know ladies bring it on?
- 31:11Speaker 1: But it was, but it wasn't bring it on. I
- 31:16Speaker 1: didn't see left it down, bring it left it down?
- 31:21Speaker 1: And other entertainment news. R Kelly did not I repeat,
- 31:25Speaker 1: did not appear in court on Wednesday. This was at
- 31:29Speaker 1: a federal court hearing in Chicago because he said he
- 31:31Speaker 1: had a toenail infection. His attorney, Steve Greenberg, said that
- 31:37Speaker 1: he's in a walking boot after having his toenail removed.
- 31:40Speaker 1: He didn't want anyone to step on his foot if
- 31:42Speaker 1: he had appeared in courting. How about that? He said
- 31:52Speaker 1: he didn't want to go to court because he didn't
- 31:54Speaker 1: want to buy to step on. Yeah, because he had
- 31:57Speaker 1: he had an infection in his toe. He had to
- 31:58Speaker 1: have his toenail removed. So you know, if it's crowded
- 32:02Speaker 1: or something in federal courts, so one accidentally steps in
- 32:04Speaker 1: your choin't crowded. Crowded on the bus getting down, you
- 32:11Speaker 1: are linked with other people. You ain't walk. He might
- 32:16Speaker 1: have a point, you know, give him the short choppy steps,
- 32:22Speaker 1: short chopping steps you gotta make when you got dam
- 32:24Speaker 1: ankle bracelets at NS walking the League. Robert, of course,
- 32:31Speaker 1: who was being held without bond in Chicago, is facing
- 32:34Speaker 1: separate federal granjury indictments in Illinois and New York. The
- 32:38Speaker 1: indictments alleged that Kelly recruited women for sex, persuaded people
- 32:43Speaker 1: to conceal that he had had a sexual contact with
- 32:46Speaker 1: these teenage girls, and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars
- 32:49Speaker 1: buying back videotapes that prosecutors say are incriminating. So there
- 32:54Speaker 1: you go. Wow. Uh. In any event, he is going
- 32:58Speaker 1: to spend some jail time. And he goes, now, come on,
- 33:02Speaker 1: come on, Mexic what's that? What's what's that? Jack? Small
- 33:12Speaker 1: less steps? Okay, but he doesn't have a toe nail
- 33:20Speaker 1: jay pop your he has a boot on. And they
- 33:30Speaker 1: got people full by the canty, and that they got
- 33:35Speaker 1: people they roll into the roll. You see. You know
- 33:41Speaker 1: what what, I decided that I'm not going to save
- 33:45Speaker 1: the announcement, oh that you were gonna make earlier you
- 33:48Speaker 1: were talking about earlier. Let's as soon as you tell
- 33:51Speaker 1: me I have two minutes. Yeah, I think we have time. Yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 1: I think we have still have some more time. I'm
- 34:00Speaker 1: left now right now. Yeah, let's get a drum roll please,
- 34:05Speaker 1: here we go, drum roll, ladies and gentlemen. Tyler Perry
- 34:10Speaker 1: Studios in Atlanta, Georgia will be hosting the next Democratic debate.
- 34:16Speaker 1: We all know that. Correct? Correct? Drum roll please? Yeah
- 34:22Speaker 1: on December eight? Just released. Yeah. Miss Universe will be
- 34:29Speaker 1: at the Tyler Perry Studios December eight, Atlanta, Georgia. Oh yeah,
- 34:36Speaker 1: what your boy coming to the crib this year? Miss
- 34:41Speaker 1: Universe gonna be a Tyler Perry Studios this year. I
- 34:47Speaker 1: expect all y'all to be there. Oh we will? Is
- 34:53Speaker 1: that is that an open invitation? Finally I'm gonna walk
- 34:58Speaker 1: out on that stage. See a lot of us out there. Yeah,
- 35:04Speaker 1: oh yes, yeah, Miss Universe to be different. Oh I
- 35:12Speaker 1: love is Steve? Congratulations? Man's huge. That is so major.
- 35:19Speaker 1: That is so major US plus three. Can we bring people?
- 35:26Speaker 1: All right? Can we up it? Twenty minutes after some
- 35:29Speaker 1: trending sports news, and victory parade is set for the
- 35:32Speaker 1: Nationals and in the NBA Steph Curry broke his hand.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Oh man, we'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 35:41Speaker 1: listening to show all right? In Trending sports news, guys,
- 35:46Speaker 1: we gotta say. I know it's hard for Carla, you
- 35:51Speaker 1: and Junior Tommy couldn't even make it today, but we
- 35:53Speaker 1: gotta say congratulations to the Washington Nationals. Uh, they are
- 35:57Speaker 1: the twenty nineteen World Series champions. I know that's congratulations DC,
- 36:05Speaker 1: y'all wan yeah, yeah, first time ever for the fan
- 36:08Speaker 1: chi as Junior was that did they lose or was
- 36:11Speaker 1: that an ass sloping? He said in baseball that's as
- 36:18Speaker 1: they played better than the astral Yeah. Yeah, yeah, hurts
- 36:23Speaker 1: my feelings, but yeah, but it was a memorable season
- 36:27Speaker 1: for the ass. It was a good season for them,
- 36:31Speaker 1: but the Nationals did the dog on thing. DC, DMV, congratulations.
- 36:37Speaker 1: The parade celebrating the Nationals. Huh oh is that a
- 36:43Speaker 1: couple of Cleveland? That the Cleveland. That's how we are.
- 36:50Speaker 1: The parade celebrating the Nationals will be tomorrow at two pm.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Fans are encouraged to attend the parade and use the
- 36:57Speaker 1: hashtag fight finished on social media. All right, so congratulations
- 37:02Speaker 1: again to them first time. Yeah, y'all want Uh, you
- 37:07Speaker 1: don't come to Houston a little fault. It's always a
- 37:10Speaker 1: little fat, always gonna be a little salt man. I
- 37:15Speaker 1: didn't relate the baseball cast. It looked like the w
- 37:17Speaker 1: from Walgreen. So do you got that? I ain't, No,
- 37:27Speaker 1: Walbreen had a team, Damn, Greg, I know nothing about sports,
- 37:37Speaker 1: all right, Well you might know something about this. I
- 37:39Speaker 1: know Junior does and other sports news. In the NBA
- 37:42Speaker 1: Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Junior broke his hand, happen,
- 37:47Speaker 1: broke his hand going to the whole playing basketball man,
- 37:50Speaker 1: landing on the back of his hand, broke his hand.
- 37:52Speaker 1: But now you have Clay talking now and Steff Curry
- 37:55Speaker 1: and then you have Draymond Green just on the court.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Do you think the season opal fall? I mean you can't.
- 38:00Speaker 1: We just started. Can't lose Kevin durand Clay Thompson and
- 38:06Speaker 1: Steph Curry and expect to be a competitive basketball team.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I mean they're gonna play. That's a tough one. Come on,
- 38:15Speaker 1: and I don't know how long step out. But that's it. Yeah,
- 38:18Speaker 1: Well does that mean no, it doesn't truly never ever
- 38:24Speaker 1: means the Cavaliers will have a chance. Well, we're not
- 38:27Speaker 1: talking about the Cavaliers. Sewed as Lebron left town, it
- 38:32Speaker 1: was over. That's worse than a broken hand hand. Yeah, well,
- 38:40Speaker 1: we wish him a speedy recovery so he can get
- 38:43Speaker 1: back in the game. Steph Curry. Wow, man, Yeah, all right, guys,
- 38:46Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four after the hour, some trending
- 38:49Speaker 1: political fake news. Okay, President Trump doctor changed the photo
- 38:53Speaker 1: of hero military dog. Wow. Really ever stopped this guy? Yeah,
- 39:01Speaker 1: this is the book. Being a president is not a game. Okay,
- 39:04Speaker 1: it's for real. Yeah, all right, we'll be back right
- 39:08Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to all right. So President Trump okay,
- 39:19Speaker 1: frequently complained, you know, we heard it even before he
- 39:22Speaker 1: became president about fake news. He coined that phrase fake news.
- 39:27Speaker 1: But on Wednesday, he tweeted an obviously doctored photo of
- 39:32Speaker 1: him awarding a medal to the hero dog that chased
- 39:35Speaker 1: down the ice as leader Abu Bakr al Baghdi Baghdati
- 39:40Speaker 1: before he blew himself up. Okay, so, mister Trump captioned
- 39:44Speaker 1: the doctor photo American hero, so the dog, and the
- 39:49Speaker 1: doctored picture replaced the original image of James McLaughlin Mclockin,
- 39:56Speaker 1: who had presented who was presented with the Medal of
- 39:58Speaker 1: Honor in a ceremony the White House back in July
- 40:01Speaker 1: of twenty seventeen. Okay, mclock was Yeah, was given the
- 40:08Speaker 1: medal for saving the lives of ten men in a
- 40:10Speaker 1: battle in Vietnam that lasted days. Well, according to the President,
- 40:14Speaker 1: the real hero, dog named Conan, will leave the Middle
- 40:18Speaker 1: East next week and visit the White House sometime next week.
- 40:23Speaker 1: So that what are you doing? Yeah, well, you know
- 40:27Speaker 1: the insensitive, the insensitivity of it all is the man
- 40:32Speaker 1: who got the actual medal, he should. He saved ten
- 40:40Speaker 1: men's live actions that can never be played with, tampered with.
- 40:48Speaker 1: That's what what what a hero? A thing? Not a
- 40:51Speaker 1: dog is a hero too. But yeah, yes, this dog
- 40:57Speaker 1: can't be can't replace what this man did. That's you don't.
- 41:04Speaker 1: You don't take a man out of a picture put
- 41:07Speaker 1: a dog in it, act like you're putting the medal
- 41:09Speaker 1: on his neck. It's just it just doesn't send the
- 41:12Speaker 1: right message. And that's that's the problem with this thing.
- 41:15Speaker 1: To me, man, we we just we just in the time, man,
- 41:18Speaker 1: and it's it's actually embarrassing. But to travel abroad and
- 41:23Speaker 1: have to explain this in interviews, what is going on
- 41:27Speaker 1: in America? I don't know who knows, but I'm over
- 41:33Speaker 1: here with y'all. But the truth does matter. I mean,
- 41:37Speaker 1: come on, you just can't make up stuff, and you're
- 41:40Speaker 1: the president. This is history. This will go down in
- 41:43Speaker 1: our history. You know when people read this long after
- 41:46Speaker 1: we're gone. You know, this just doesn't know what else
- 41:52Speaker 1: is going down in his fall on yesterday, he got
- 41:56Speaker 1: voted to be impeached, and that's the biggest damn thing. Yeah. Yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 1: so no, doesn't mean he loses his job, but being
- 42:04Speaker 1: peach he's the fourth president out of all the presidents. Okay,
- 42:07Speaker 1: so let me ask you guys a question because I'm
- 42:09Speaker 1: over here and I'm a little out of touch. Um,
- 42:13Speaker 1: the House decided it is no longer an inquiry anymore. Right, Well,
- 42:18Speaker 1: you know, the Republicans have been complaining all along, Steve
- 42:22Speaker 1: that it was behind closed doors and you know, and
- 42:25Speaker 1: all that they wanted to know what was going on
- 42:27Speaker 1: when there are Republicans in the hearings. But you know, yeah,
- 42:31Speaker 1: there are Republicans in there. Yeah, even when those Republicans
- 42:34Speaker 1: last week stormed, you know, they stormed the inquiry, there
- 42:38Speaker 1: were still some of the Republicans that were in there.
- 42:40Speaker 1: My question, my question is is this no longer an
- 42:44Speaker 1: inquiry and they're sending it over to the Senate. It
- 42:50Speaker 1: has to go to Adam Schiff. It has to go
- 42:53Speaker 1: to a committee first, Yeah, and then they have to
- 42:55Speaker 1: do they have to do some more public hearings, and
- 42:58Speaker 1: then he has to do a report from there. So
- 43:01Speaker 1: there's still some more investigating in things and reports that
- 43:04Speaker 1: have to go. Yeah. Yeah, gets to the Senate. It
- 43:09Speaker 1: hasn't gotten to that part yet, but they were a
- 43:12Speaker 1: long way away from that. But then it has to
- 43:16Speaker 1: go to the Senate, which is controlled by the Republicans.
- 43:19Speaker 1: By the Republicans, yes, and there were some Democrats that
- 43:23Speaker 1: two Democrats that voted um, that went along with the Republicans.
- 43:27Speaker 1: But if some Republicans have voted to at least have
- 43:31Speaker 1: an inquiry, is that what I'm understanding? No, no, no,
- 43:35Speaker 1: there sticking together, not one of them. They're sticking together
- 43:42Speaker 1: to democrats. These Democrats voted with the Republicans. And those
- 43:47Speaker 1: Democrats was a representative Jeff Drew of New Jersey and
- 43:51Speaker 1: Colin Peterson of Minnesota. Those Democrats voted nay along with
- 43:56Speaker 1: the Republicans. But it was still enough Democrats to um,
- 43:59Speaker 1: you know, for the you have to go through. Yeah,
- 44:01Speaker 1: all right, coming up next, Today's prank phone call right
- 44:04Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show coming up at the
- 44:10Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:12Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today, the subject my man is
- 44:16Speaker 1: too gentle and loving. Huh okay right now? Uh, Jay
- 44:24Speaker 1: and Junior are both here for the nephew with today's
- 44:27Speaker 1: prank phone call. I think Jay, it's on you right now.
- 44:29Speaker 1: What you got for Yo? Son? You didn't make the team?
- 44:34Speaker 1: Come on team Talk? I said, Yo soon doing doing
- 44:42Speaker 1: didn't didn't make the team? Tommy, What I said? Well,
- 44:47Speaker 1: Yo soon didn't make tea. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 44:54Speaker 1: reach missus Lydia. This is she mass calling. This is
- 44:59Speaker 1: coach Watkins up at the up at the school. How
- 45:01Speaker 1: are you, hey, Coach Waltkins? I'm fine. What can I
- 45:04Speaker 1: do for you? Listen, We've had Malik out for the
- 45:07Speaker 1: last week and a half. He's been coming to practice
- 45:11Speaker 1: here at the Junior High School and wanted to reach
- 45:14Speaker 1: out and give you a call about everything that's going on.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, I know he's really excited. He can't
- 45:19Speaker 1: wait to start the season. He's he's ready. You know what.
- 45:23Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you. He's a great kid and
- 45:27Speaker 1: he's got a good heart, and he's really really really
- 45:30Speaker 1: trying and trying to produce as much as possible. Well,
- 45:33Speaker 1: you know, he loves the game and he's been playing
- 45:35Speaker 1: since he was a little kid. Yeah. Yeah, and you
- 45:38Speaker 1: know this is uh, you know, this is the seventh grade.
- 45:41Speaker 1: This is the first time some of these kids have
- 45:43Speaker 1: played um organized football, and this is the first time
- 45:47Speaker 1: playing school football. And it's it's a big it's a
- 45:49Speaker 1: big transition. And if you've been playing Little League ball
- 45:53Speaker 1: or Pop Warner or whatever you want to call it,
- 45:55Speaker 1: it's a it's a big difference in a big transition
- 45:58Speaker 1: to go from one to the other. You know, stand, Yeah,
- 46:00Speaker 1: I do understand. But Malik has been working really hard. Yes,
- 46:03Speaker 1: so he's ready. Well well, well let me let me
- 46:05Speaker 1: say this. My main reason for calling you is letting
- 46:08Speaker 1: you know that Malik as a right now, is not
- 46:12Speaker 1: going to be able to make the cut as far
- 46:15Speaker 1: as what you mean, He's not gonna be able to
- 46:18Speaker 1: make the cut as far as being on the team
- 46:20Speaker 1: for this year. Now, I got you said. Wait, you
- 46:25Speaker 1: said that Malief's not gonna be able to make the team.
- 46:29Speaker 1: He's not gonna make the team. He's a great kid,
- 46:33Speaker 1: you know he's a great kid. I know he's a
- 46:34Speaker 1: great kid. But women, now, he didn't play Pop Warner
- 46:38Speaker 1: and he was a starting quarterback, So what are you
- 46:41Speaker 1: talking about. He's not gonna make the team this year.
- 46:43Speaker 1: He was the best toy had out on that squad. Okay,
- 46:46Speaker 1: and you know what, I've heard a lot about him.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I heard he did a great job and heard about him.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Have you seen his
- 46:52Speaker 1: start twenty touchdowns in the season. I understand the kids
- 46:56Speaker 1: is out there doing that. But you know what, but
- 46:58Speaker 1: right now, we got a lot of different kids that
- 47:00Speaker 1: are coming into this particular school, so you know, the
- 47:03Speaker 1: competition has gone greater and greater than what we could
- 47:06Speaker 1: possibly understand. Wait a minute, when this is seventh grade,
- 47:10Speaker 1: first of all, everybody makes the team. Nobody gets cut
- 47:13Speaker 1: in the first place. You got an eight team and
- 47:15Speaker 1: the B team. So you telling me my baby ain't
- 47:17Speaker 1: made none of them teams? Right right now, miss Lydia? Uh?
- 47:21Speaker 1: You know, uh, Malik, like I said, Malik is a
- 47:24Speaker 1: great kid. I like it. I know what Malik is.
- 47:26Speaker 1: I know that he's a great kid and he's a
- 47:28Speaker 1: ball player. Now I make sure that so don't come
- 47:31Speaker 1: telling me that he's not good enough to make the
- 47:33Speaker 1: cut on on this seventh grade team. Well, I'm telling
- 47:36Speaker 1: me who who is the quarterback? Who? Yeah, you tell
- 47:39Speaker 1: me what's going on? Who is the quarterback? Well? Actually,
- 47:41Speaker 1: right now, my my my my son is the quarterback.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Your son, Well, I mean, yeah, actually the quarterback. He
- 47:52Speaker 1: hasn't done any pop warn or anything, but he really
- 47:55Speaker 1: has what it takes to be there. Never played football before,
- 47:59Speaker 1: or he never played organized football, but he he's gonna
- 48:03Speaker 1: be the quarterback for the seventh grade team. Is that
- 48:06Speaker 1: what you're telling me? Well, yeah, my son is actually
- 48:08Speaker 1: starting quarterback, but that my son's gonna make the team
- 48:12Speaker 1: and my son score twenty touchdown? Twenty touchdown? Is that
- 48:17Speaker 1: what you're telling me? Oh? Hell no, I'm calling up
- 48:19Speaker 1: to that school tomorrow. I will be up there tomorrow
- 48:24Speaker 1: to me explain something of my word. No no no, no, no,
- 48:28Speaker 1: no no no. I don't know what this is, this
- 48:30Speaker 1: nepotism or what everything you got going on around here,
- 48:34Speaker 1: But hell no, my firn ain't Nathan what hell no,
- 48:39Speaker 1: it's gonna be smoking the city to mind when I
- 48:41Speaker 1: get up there, Miss Lydia, What I want to say
- 48:44Speaker 1: this is this. If your son would take a year
- 48:47Speaker 1: off lord and try to get itself together and get
- 48:50Speaker 1: his fundamentals together together, a greater football player when he
- 48:55Speaker 1: gets to be headed to the eighth grade the rod
- 48:58Speaker 1: to start last year. What you're talking about this fundamentals together? Yo? Say?
- 49:01Speaker 1: It ain't ever even played it? Well, you know what
- 49:03Speaker 1: I've worked with my son and you know, and it's
- 49:06Speaker 1: a little it's a little awkward for me to try
- 49:09Speaker 1: to talk about what my son has done. Yea, it's
- 49:11Speaker 1: gonna be hawkward you to talk about because you don't
- 49:13Speaker 1: know what your son has done, because ain't nobody ever
- 49:15Speaker 1: seen your son. You just got this dream probably something
- 49:18Speaker 1: that you ain't did. You want to live Vicarcy through him? Here? No,
- 49:24Speaker 1: like that little school I played in high school and
- 49:27Speaker 1: let me play this. I'm trying to do the best
- 49:29Speaker 1: that I can and the best of my ability to
- 49:31Speaker 1: make sure that everybody gets a good and fair shot
- 49:34Speaker 1: at what's going on. Shot. But but he don't get
- 49:37Speaker 1: to play, So what about don't get the plays? Probably
- 49:42Speaker 1: work out better? Sow that to the mother mothers. That's
- 49:46Speaker 1: some boy. I bet you, I guarantee you this my
- 49:48Speaker 1: son to be starting this year. I guarantee you this.
- 49:50Speaker 1: You don't want it. It is okay right now. All
- 49:52Speaker 1: I can say is I need Malik to actually bring
- 49:56Speaker 1: his cliques back because my son's gonna need him to
- 49:59Speaker 1: play in what I fucking please your son again? Your son,
- 50:04Speaker 1: I'm running down that field, gonna run barefoot. He ain't
- 50:07Speaker 1: get mine nothing, man, From my records understanding is that
- 50:11Speaker 1: the cliques actually came from the one that told you
- 50:15Speaker 1: that my son can't fight your recordsation. Everybody thinking about
- 50:18Speaker 1: your records, You, your mama and the day she brushed
- 50:22Speaker 1: your man. I'm not gonna sit and go back and
- 50:25Speaker 1: forth with you. All I'm trying to say is this
- 50:27Speaker 1: that ma league isn't about to do you. Start looking
- 50:30Speaker 1: for a new job, get your resume together. You know what, man,
- 50:33Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go back and for I got one
- 50:35Speaker 1: more thing I need to say to you. Nothing that
- 50:37Speaker 1: meant you ain't got nothing else to say to me.
- 50:40Speaker 1: My son to be playing, and I'll be up there tomorrow.
- 50:43Speaker 1: I have one more thing I need to say to
- 50:45Speaker 1: you or you listening. Only thing you need to tell
- 50:47Speaker 1: me it is who I need to talk to tomorrow. Now,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I'll let you know that as soon as I tell
- 50:51Speaker 1: you this are you're listening to, I'm listening what this is?
- 50:55Speaker 1: Nephew taught me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your sister,
- 50:59Speaker 1: I ain't got me to prank phone call you? What hell?
- 51:11Speaker 1: I know, I'm a chicken. I thought that was really cold.
- 51:18Speaker 1: You got your hot who school? Wasn't you? Day was going? Oh? Man,
- 51:29Speaker 1: I got some ass. What is the baddest and I

- 52:50Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letters. Subject. Get a load of this subject,

- 53:19Speaker 1: live on the air, just like we're going to read
- 53:21Speaker 1: this one right here, right now. All right, all right,
- 53:25Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the Strawberry Letter
- 53:27Speaker 1: with my good print shirt. Thank you, junior. Subject, my
- 53:33Speaker 1: man is too gentle and loving. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 53:37Speaker 1: am a thirty six year old female in a long
- 53:39Speaker 1: distance relationship with a man and his early forties. Things
- 53:44Speaker 1: are good between us, and honestly, I'm ready to take
- 53:47Speaker 1: things to the next level. I only have one problem,
- 53:51Speaker 1: and I'm hesitant to move on to move to his
- 53:54Speaker 1: hometown if he can't fix the problem. We have been
- 53:57Speaker 1: in a committed relationship for two years and when we
- 54:00Speaker 1: are intimate, he is very gentle and loving. In the bedroom,
- 54:05Speaker 1: he has kept his same routine the entire time. He
- 54:08Speaker 1: does not do anything freaky or exotic, and he's very passionate.
- 54:14Speaker 1: At first, it was okay he was clearly taking his
- 54:17Speaker 1: time to please me, but now I need him to
- 54:20Speaker 1: do more. My sexual desires have changed in my late
- 54:24Speaker 1: thirties and I became more in sync with my body.
- 54:28Speaker 1: I want to have sex and other places besides the bed,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and I needed to be a little kinky at times.
- 54:34Speaker 1: How do I tell him he is not giving me
- 54:37Speaker 1: enough sex and that he is pretty boring in the bedroom.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I know this is a conversation that I must have
- 54:44Speaker 1: with him, but I am honestly unsure how to tell
- 54:47Speaker 1: him this. I don't want to turn him off and
- 54:50Speaker 1: appear to be a little freak to him, but I
- 54:53Speaker 1: am tired of straight love making every time I have
- 54:56Speaker 1: a good thing going with this man, and I don't
- 54:58Speaker 1: want to ruin it. Also scared that this may be
- 55:01Speaker 1: all he has to offer or all he knows how
- 55:04Speaker 1: to do. I am not the type to cheat, but
- 55:07Speaker 1: I am craving satisfaction. Can you guys relate? Please give
- 55:12Speaker 1: me some pointers. Well, what do you mean, can we relate? Well, yes,
- 55:20Speaker 1: of course you can relate it. Yeah, if this is
- 55:23Speaker 1: your concern, that's what we're here for. We'll try to
- 55:25Speaker 1: help you for sure. You know, I just know that
- 55:28Speaker 1: there are so many people, especially women, who would love
- 55:31Speaker 1: to be in your shoes. Right now, you have a
- 55:34Speaker 1: man who is gentle and loving, and you say he's
- 55:37Speaker 1: very passionate. I mean some people would just stop right there,
- 55:41Speaker 1: but no, not you. That would be cool with them,
- 55:44Speaker 1: but that's not what you want. And you want what
- 55:46Speaker 1: you want and guess what that is okay too? So
- 55:50Speaker 1: you ask, how do you tell him? How do you
- 55:54Speaker 1: tell him? You're gonna have to tell him, you do
- 55:58Speaker 1: know that, because you don't want to cheat, like you say,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and you want other things to go down. You want
- 56:05Speaker 1: it to happen other places. I suggest that you tell
- 56:08Speaker 1: him nicely. I suggest that you tell him away from
- 56:11Speaker 1: the bedroom, like maybe you know, when you guys are
- 56:14Speaker 1: just having a conversation, you can just bring it up
- 56:18Speaker 1: in a nice way, or you know, if that doesn't work,
- 56:22Speaker 1: you can start showing him or you know, I like
- 56:24Speaker 1: it this way or I like it that way, or
- 56:26Speaker 1: something like that. You know, will you take the risk
- 56:30Speaker 1: of him judging you you? Maybe you maybe will, who knows.
- 56:33Speaker 1: But you want what you want. You know you want
- 56:38Speaker 1: to do it, where you want to do it, and
- 56:39Speaker 1: how you want to do it, and you have that right.
- 56:41Speaker 1: So you got to be woman enough and strong enough
- 56:44Speaker 1: to tell him. I just say, tell him in a
- 56:46Speaker 1: nice way. And if you can't tell him, then you
- 56:49Speaker 1: have to show him. But I would take it. Maybe
- 56:51Speaker 1: if you want to tell him in a conversation away
- 56:54Speaker 1: from the bedroom, you know, just a regular, normal conversation,
- 56:58Speaker 1: maybe at dinner. Steve, Well, yeah, y'ada, YadA, YadA, Shelley,
- 57:05Speaker 1: that's now he's saying. So all that's good. My man
- 57:08Speaker 1: is too gentle and love it. Thirty six year old
- 57:12Speaker 1: woman in this long dist relationship with a man in
- 57:15Speaker 1: his early forties. Things is good and she ready to
- 57:19Speaker 1: take things to the next level. Only got one problem.
- 57:23Speaker 1: She's hesitant to move to the man's hometown if he
- 57:26Speaker 1: can't fix this problem. Well, they're in this committing relationship,
- 57:29Speaker 1: y'all for two years, and when they intimate, he's very
- 57:33Speaker 1: gentle and loving. In the bed, He's kept the same
- 57:38Speaker 1: routine every time. That means she's getting bored. He does
- 57:42Speaker 1: not do anything freaky or exotic, but he's very passionate.
- 57:46Speaker 1: At first, it was okay, clearly taking his time to
- 57:49Speaker 1: please me, But now I need him to do more.
- 57:53Speaker 1: This woman says her self and desires are changed in
- 57:55Speaker 1: her late thirties and she became more in sync with
- 57:58Speaker 1: her body. I want to have sex in other places
- 58:02Speaker 1: beside the bedroom, and I need to be a little
- 58:06Speaker 1: kinky at times. How do I tell him he ain't
- 58:09Speaker 1: giving me enough sex and that he bought in this
- 58:13Speaker 1: bad room. I know I gotta have this conversation. I
- 58:16Speaker 1: don't want to turn him off. I don't want to
- 58:18Speaker 1: ruin it. I'm also be scared that this has to
- 58:21Speaker 1: be his best offer. That's all he knows. And you
- 58:25Speaker 1: know I ain't to type the cheap, but I need
- 58:27Speaker 1: some help down here. I come. You want to have
- 58:30Speaker 1: sex in different places, and you want it to be
- 58:33Speaker 1: a little kinky. Sometimes you can't tell on me. You
- 58:38Speaker 1: just had to do it like y'all. Going to the
- 58:42Speaker 1: bedroom in the same place, same man. He walked in there.
- 58:47Speaker 1: What does she do? You know, you gotta just create opportunity.
- 58:51Speaker 1: He walk in the bed room, he necked he don't
- 58:54Speaker 1: see you in that baby, What where are you at? Then?
- 58:58Speaker 1: You hollow, I'm out here, you're out here, Well, look
- 59:05Speaker 1: out the window and that naked in the tree. You
- 59:14Speaker 1: got to get him out his comfort zone. Baby, I
- 59:19Speaker 1: better where you're at. I've got here in the kitchen.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Half for me is in the refrigerator, and that will
- 59:30Speaker 1: cause him to know that we will when we come back.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I'll have several scenarios that you can create to get
- 59:37Speaker 1: him out the bed room and put most spice in
- 59:40Speaker 1: your love. Like alright, all right, listen, we'll have part
- 59:43Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three after
- 59:46Speaker 1: the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject my man is too
- 59:50Speaker 1: gentle and loving. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:54Speaker 1: You're listening to the show, Come on, Steve, Let's recap
- 59:59Speaker 1: today Strawberry Letters subjective my man, it's too gentle and loving.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I think when we left off, she was the refrigerator. Well,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: see what we found is this woman's having this boring
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: sexual relationship with this man and she won't more. She
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: wanted in more than one place, and she wanted to
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: be more exotic, and she wanted to be a little kinking.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: She don't know how to tell the man because she
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: don't want to hurt it. She's afraid that this may
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: be more. Or you gotta elevate the man thinking, Like
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I said before, you gotta do some stuff outside. You're
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: in a tree. I'm down here. Half of me is
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: in the refrigerator. I ain't saying one half. I need
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to half sitting in refrigerator without trying to get him
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the baby. Where you at? I'm down here, have been
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: overlooking for changing the cushions. So you gotta give him
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: out the bed? Yeah, right right, baby, I'm naked. I'm
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: looking for you. You ain't in the bedroom. I'm in
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: living room, Paul dashing. See you gonna get him? Stand up?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: You know, baby, Baby, I just got out the shower.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Where you're at, I'm in the basements thanking myself, not
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: yourself down. Yeah, you gotta get his mind. Yeah, yeah, baby, baby,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: where you at? I'm looking for you. I'm up in
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the attic sweating. See, you gotta get it. You got
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: to get it to when he wants, you know, baby,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Maybe I've been laying here where you ut. I'm tied
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: up in the garage to the tool cabinet. What sh
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: doing down now? Let me go find out though, baby, Baby,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I'm ready where you're at. I'm in then, choking myself.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: You're trying to get it to be a little more kinky.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: You got to start, You got to introduce him now.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Now he can't find you. It all now because you
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: didn't advance. Now he can't even find you in the
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: house no more. Here on the cell phone looking for you, baby.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Where you're at. I'm down at the YCUM. I'm down
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: at the y m c A waiting on it. Well,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: not the bedroom, baby, where you're at. I'm down in

- 1:13:02Speaker 1: in the foot. I think New England is vulnerable. I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: picked an upset game of the week, the Ravens gonna
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: come and play ball, and the patents. Now I'll be honing.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: All right, here we come. Got two more picks here

- 1:18:34Speaker 1: he said he had a toenail infection. His attorney Steve
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Greenberg said that he's in a walking boot after having
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: his toenail removed. He didn't want anyone to step on
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: his foot if he had appeared in court. All right,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: coming coming up our last break of the day on
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: this Friday, and bring up the day. That's right, Jay,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: and some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: Harvey at forty nine minutes after the hour, right after
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: this you're listening show. All right, here we are our
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Friday. It's been
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: a good Friday. It's been a good Friday. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: Oh was it ever Strawberry good? Yeah, the Strawberry letter
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: was good. I hope Tommy recovers over the weekend so
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: he can be back at work. I don't really care.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: There's too many things that throws Tommy off. Well, you know,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: losing if he got taken day off, ain't no play baseball, Dan.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: It's like, well you know what it is, Junior. You
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: know once that the captain of the Astros team, that
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: god is short Jose two bays. Yeah. See when look
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: when short people like that, they suffer with each other.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: I'm not laughing, taking my mic out come on, Tommy.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: I like that showing people that they suffered together. They
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: suffered together, and that's what Timey threw himself into his place.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: But like Shaquille O'Neill said, though, who losing games, we
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: get in our fantoms and we drive to our mansions. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: So hopefully he'll be all right and be back on
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the air at work with us on Monday. So see
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: if you ready for your clothing, all right, let's go.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: You know, um, I was thinking today, I was kind
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: of in a reflective mode about really how good God
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: has been to me in my life. I can't even
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: measure the things that God has done for me. He
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: has done things for me that's been outside of my
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: realm of thinking. What I mean by that is He's
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: just done things for me that I didn't even think of.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I didn't even think of it. That's that's when you're
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: really benefiting from His grace and favor. When something happens
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: to me and I can't explain that, I usually know
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: that would be God and my life as I have
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: it today. The only way to explain it is God. Now,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: what I want to suggest to everybody is something that
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: puts me in this reflective mood from time to time,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: and I think we should all do it because we
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: are so busy in our quest to become successful and
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: so busy figuring that out. We're so busy planning and
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: and envisioning and plotting and trying to set everything up,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: that in the process we forget a very simple thing,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: and that's gratitude. Because when you're planning and plotting and
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: programming yourself and trying to wish things into existence, you
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: often over time, you often times overlook the things that
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: you have. See. The quest for what you don't have
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: should never override what you already have. See. What I'm
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: saying is if we all from time to time, really
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: on a daily basis, really to be honest with you.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: But let's just say you don't want to do that,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Let's just say a couple of times a week, you
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: should take inventory of all the things God has done
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: for you. And I mean just every single small thing
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: He's done for you. It's amazing. Man. If you think
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: about what you're driving, I got what you want to drive.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: But let's talk about what you were driving versus what
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: you used to drive. Let's talk about the job you
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: have versus the job you used to have, or what
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: about when you didn't have a job at all and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: you were just looking for employment. You know, your kids
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: may giving you some problems everything from time to time,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: But man, remember that they're still here. They're still healthy,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: they still vibrant, they can recover. You've got to start
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: thinking about the measure of health that you have. Hey, man, look,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I may not be who I want to be health wise,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: but man, I'm still here. I thank you for the
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: blessing of life, for the power of healing. I thank
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: you for my sight, my touch, all these things. You
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: just gotta really start taking an inventory of what God
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: has done for you. If you do this, it makes
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: the things you don't have that you want to have
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: come about quicker. Because God is a very fair god.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I mean, why would he continue to give me you
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: more if you're complaining and not grateful for what you have.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: But on the positive side, if you show gratitude for
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: everything you have, God will give you more to be
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: grateful fault. I think of all this, Man, My life
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: is in a place now where I just did not
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: see it coming. I'm in a place, really, man, that
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: until they approached me, I had never even heard of
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: that God has blessed me to go around this globe speaking.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Do you understand I just set out to do comedy, man,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I just set out to be as funny as I could.
