- 2:16Speaker 5: I'll tell you who I am in a little bit.
- 2:18Speaker 5: You know, I get around. Man, it's so much. But man,
- 2:21Speaker 5: good morning everybody.
- 2:23Speaker 2: You know today.
- 2:25Speaker 5: I was having a conversation with my wife last night
- 2:29Speaker 5: and we were talking about our plans. You know, we
- 2:32Speaker 5: often sit down, you know, just like a married couple.
- 2:35Speaker 5: I mean, you know, you know we're married. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 5: we have children, we have aspirations, we have hopes, we
- 2:41Speaker 5: will I mean know, we have things we want. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 5: when you're married, you know, I mean it's important to
- 2:46Speaker 5: sit with your partner. I'm not telling you anything. You
- 2:49Speaker 5: don't know, it's common sense.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Really.
- 2:51Speaker 5: It's important to sit down with the person that you've
- 2:54Speaker 5: chosen and decided to share your life with it and
- 2:57Speaker 5: have multiple conversations on a lot of things.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And we try to make sure that all of our.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Conversations aren't always just business related and always kid related,
- 3:09Speaker 5: you know, because that that that becomes it's a part
- 3:13Speaker 5: of it. But it weighs so much on the marriage
- 3:17Speaker 5: that because that's the grunt work of being married. You know,
- 3:20Speaker 5: your children, your family, your bills, your your mortgage, your
- 3:25Speaker 5: your car notes, you know the what's due, what's coming up,
- 3:30Speaker 5: and if you're not careful, you'll you'll start that becomes
- 3:35Speaker 5: the focal point of you all's conversation. And this woman
- 3:39Speaker 5: or man or person that you've decided to have this
- 3:42Speaker 5: life with, all of a sudden, they're an extension of
- 3:45Speaker 5: your business and you guys become business partners or whatever,
- 3:51Speaker 5: and it just gets so anywhere. I'm just saying that
- 3:54Speaker 5: that is important to sit down and have these conversations,
- 3:57Speaker 5: but it's even more important to have the other conversation.
- 4:01Speaker 5: You know, it's important with the person that you're planning
- 4:04Speaker 5: on making the run with to sit down and talk
- 4:07Speaker 5: about other.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Things, you know, on a more upbeat note.
- 4:11Speaker 5: You know, we were having a conversation that she was
- 4:14Speaker 5: reminding me of what she loved about me, and then I,
- 4:19Speaker 5: in turn, was turned around telling her the things that
- 4:23Speaker 5: I admired about her and loved about her. And we
- 4:26Speaker 5: kind of have these all the time, you know, when
- 4:28Speaker 5: we sit down and we talk about the things that
- 4:32Speaker 5: we still enjoy about one another, or we may talk
- 4:35Speaker 5: about some of the things that we miss in one another,
- 4:38Speaker 5: but we constantly have these conversations about appreciation. You know,
- 4:43Speaker 5: it's so important, man, that the other person feels appreciated.
- 4:47Speaker 5: So these things important. But we got into the conversation
- 4:50Speaker 5: deeper last night, and I was telling her about this
- 4:54Speaker 5: idea that I had and that I wanted her to
- 4:58Speaker 5: help me with and make a phone ca all for
- 5:00Speaker 5: me because she knows these people and I was going
- 5:03Speaker 5: to be doing this, and then my wife reminded me
- 5:06Speaker 5: of something not once again, you know, as always, you know,
- 5:10Speaker 5: when I'm talking to you, I just keep it as
- 5:11Speaker 5: real as I can. I don't know the Bible inside out.
- 5:15Speaker 5: I can't quote to you scriptures and tell you exactly
- 5:18Speaker 5: where it is. I just, you know, I heard her
- 5:21Speaker 5: say it, but it kind of blew by me. I
- 5:25Speaker 5: was I was telling her about something I wanted to
- 5:27Speaker 5: make happen, and she reminded me that there's a scripture somewhere,
- 5:31Speaker 5: and somebody emailed it to me today.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Well, the Bible reminds us not to be anxious for anything.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Don't be anxious for something. And you know, it really
- 5:42Speaker 5: mattered to me at that point yesterday that she brought
- 5:45Speaker 5: this to my attention, because how many times I've been
- 5:48Speaker 5: guilty of that in my past and I've learned better now,
- 5:52Speaker 5: but every now and then I need to be reminded,
- 5:55Speaker 5: you know. And I think that what she was saying
- 5:59Speaker 5: to me was, you know, I've gotten to a point
- 6:02Speaker 5: in my life, and we all should get to a
- 6:04Speaker 5: point where. You know, you've heard old people say this.
- 6:08Speaker 5: If you're gonna pray about something, then don't worry about it,
- 6:11Speaker 5: And if you're gonna worry about it, don't pray about it.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Back to this, be anxious for nothing, don't. If you're
- 6:19Speaker 5: going to trust in God, then't do that. And trusting
- 6:24Speaker 5: in him means sometimes you got to be patient. God
- 6:30Speaker 5: has never been too late. You don't know the plan
- 6:33Speaker 5: he has you don't know. You don't really always know
- 6:36Speaker 5: his will. You definitely don't know his route, his way
- 6:40Speaker 5: of doing anything. So he's always on time. He's always
- 6:44Speaker 5: been there on time for me. He's always been there
- 6:47Speaker 5: on time for you. How many times have you thought
- 6:50Speaker 5: it was over only to find out it's really just begun.
- 6:55Speaker 5: How many times have people wrote you off? Are those
- 7:00Speaker 5: of you who have lost jobs but you are still maintaining?
- 7:06Speaker 5: But man, God has already began to turn around process
- 7:10Speaker 5: for many of us. Some of us lost jobs and
- 7:14Speaker 5: now have better jobs. Some of us lost jobs and
- 7:18Speaker 5: now has forced us to rekindle that dream and that
- 7:22Speaker 5: vision for business we had. Sometimes the mishap is the
- 7:26Speaker 5: thing you need to make something good happen. See a
- 7:31Speaker 5: lot of times we get so comfortable in our life
- 7:34Speaker 5: where we just we get complacent. We just settled in
- 7:39Speaker 5: and when this is it and this is what I'm doing.
- 7:42Speaker 5: But in actuality, God has a tremendous amount of abundance
- 7:47Speaker 5: for you. He has an amazing amount of things. He
- 7:49Speaker 5: has all these boxes packaged up with your name on
- 7:52Speaker 5: him that he's willing to ship if you would just
- 7:56Speaker 5: align yourself with some of his wills so you could
- 7:59Speaker 5: get some of these things. How many times have you
- 8:02Speaker 5: thought it was over and it didn't really go over.
- 8:05Speaker 5: How many times have you thought well, this is it
- 8:09Speaker 5: and it wasn't it at all. Well, how many times
- 8:11Speaker 5: have you thought, well, it don't look like this gonna
- 8:14Speaker 5: work out, and it didn't work out, but then something
- 8:16Speaker 5: better came along. How many times has that happened? You've
- 8:21Speaker 5: got to realize this, Man. I was talking to a
- 8:24Speaker 5: family who had got displaced from the Katrina thing that
- 8:27Speaker 5: happened down there in New Orleans. And Man, when they said, yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 5: we got a displaced from Katrina, and I braced myself because,
- 8:35Speaker 5: oh woe is me? Here comes this story. I gotta
- 8:38Speaker 5: hear this, and I gotta be encouraged and think of something.
- 8:40Speaker 5: It was totally different. They totally totally blew me away.
- 8:45Speaker 7: Man.
- 8:45Speaker 5: The brother said, Man, is actually the best thing that
- 8:48Speaker 5: ever happened to my family. And I went whoa And
- 8:52Speaker 5: he said, yeah, man, he said, because what happened was
- 8:55Speaker 5: he said, I got settled in. He said, Plus, I
- 8:58Speaker 5: was doing some things outside of my marriage down there,
- 9:02Speaker 5: He said, I was doing some stuff in the streets.
- 9:04Speaker 5: I ain't need to be doing he said, Man, it
- 9:06Speaker 5: all got washed away. We thought our life would never
- 9:09Speaker 5: be the same. But he said, man, my life ain't
- 9:11Speaker 5: need to be the same. He said, Man. Now we
- 9:14Speaker 5: live up here in Texas. We got a house, don't
- 9:18Speaker 5: know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I know
- 9:20Speaker 5: to get into trouble with. He said, man, I done
- 9:22Speaker 5: rediscovered my wife, how beautiful she really is, how much
- 9:26Speaker 5: my family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:28Speaker 5: it straightened me up. Man, he said, so, I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 5: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 5: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:37Speaker 5: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:40Speaker 5: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 5: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:46Speaker 5: on course, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:51Speaker 5: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:55Speaker 5: He got some great stuff in store for you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, he said, The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have you undivided attention again.
- 10:08Speaker 2: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:10Speaker 5: We asked for your attention just as a simple reminder
- 10:14Speaker 5: of how good God is and what this opportunity that
- 10:17Speaker 5: you have in front of you really is about.
- 10:20Speaker 2: You were given another day. Now we've got news.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Of people who won't make it today, and it's sad.
- 10:28Speaker 5: But man o, man o, man for you to be
- 10:31Speaker 5: the one that he keeps picking to wake up again,
- 10:34Speaker 5: that's a blessing. Do something with today. That is my
- 10:38Speaker 5: plan today, to do something with it today. And let
- 10:43Speaker 5: me start by giving thanks and honor to the one
- 10:46Speaker 5: who created the day, God Almighty. Without him, I would
- 10:51Speaker 5: be nothing, absolutely nothing.
- 10:54Speaker 2: You did.
- 10:55Speaker 5: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mimsippi
- 10:59Speaker 5: Moonica Jr. Legend of nephew Tommy Junius on your mind
- 11:02Speaker 5: this morning. Man.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I always talk about it, procrastination, Man, procrastination.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I get it.
- 11:08Speaker 8: Next time I'll see what I can do about it.
- 11:11Speaker 8: You know, maybe that was supposed to be. What's the
- 11:14Speaker 8: problem with procrastination.
- 11:15Speaker 5: When it comes to well, it becomes habitual. It's habit
- 11:20Speaker 5: for me, it becomes a pattern. And people who procrastinate,
- 11:25Speaker 5: if you look at their life, their life is full
- 11:27Speaker 5: of procrastination.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's a bad thing to do.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Always do today what you can whatever you can do today,
- 11:36Speaker 5: get it done today because tomorrow presents another set of
- 11:39Speaker 5: opportunities for you. But if you keep delaying, putting it off, procrastinating,
- 11:46Speaker 5: you can't progress that way.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You just can't. Man, it's impossible.
- 11:52Speaker 5: It's impossible because at one point in time, you're gonna
- 11:55Speaker 5: have to put your one foot in front of the other.
- 11:57Speaker 2: You're going to have to take a step.
- 12:00Speaker 5: In order to accomplish anything, or in order to finish anything,
- 12:07Speaker 5: you got to start.
- 12:09Speaker 2: You have to start.
- 12:11Speaker 5: There ain't no way around this one. Now, this one
- 12:15Speaker 5: is factual. This ain't no sory. Steve Harvey came up
- 12:19Speaker 5: with if you want to accomplish anything, you have got
- 12:25Speaker 5: to start. We ain't even gonna talk about finishing. You
- 12:27Speaker 5: can't finish if you ain't starting. But you have got
- 12:31Speaker 5: to get started. And it's imperative to your future. It's
- 12:36Speaker 5: imperative to your day, it's imperative to your well being,
- 12:41Speaker 5: it's imperative.
- 12:42Speaker 2: To your mental psyche that you start.
- 12:45Speaker 5: It's an amazing thing, and just starting you will find
- 12:49Speaker 5: out that it's not as difficult as you made it
- 12:52Speaker 5: out to be if you simply start and then don't
- 12:56Speaker 5: try to look at the whole thing. Man, where the
- 12:58Speaker 5: finish line at no, no, no, no, Start. Where's the
- 13:01Speaker 5: next step. Don't worry about the finish line. Finish line coming,
- 13:05Speaker 5: but you got to make the next step. Inch by inch.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Anything's a cinch. Stop looking at the finish line. You
- 13:15Speaker 5: can walk to have a finish line. You can make
- 13:17Speaker 5: a finish line your goal. But all I got news
- 13:21Speaker 5: for you, even when you get to your finish line,
- 13:23Speaker 5: you're gonna get another one. All you gonna do is
- 13:26Speaker 5: get another You can help to finish so you can
- 13:29Speaker 5: start again.
- 13:30Speaker 2: What is life?
- 13:33Speaker 9: Yeah, buddy, all right, all right. Coming up at thirty
- 13:39Speaker 9: two minutes after the hour, we'll hear from the nephew

- 17:25Speaker 1: what I heard that.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I was talking about, Cynthia. How do I up?
- 17:29Speaker 9: Is this?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Is this the whole button? Here?
- 17:31Speaker 7: This is it?
- 17:33Speaker 2: There we go?
- 17:34Speaker 7: They can hurt everything. No, they just they said, can't
- 17:38Speaker 7: asking me right now. I'm doing what he's telling me
- 17:42Speaker 7: to do this. These three are supposed to be let

- 17:47Speaker 7: gotta do it. But it looks like the severances nobody
- 17:51Speaker 7: can live off of this for even three freaking months.
- 17:53Speaker 7: I already know that this this is really dumb. Oh
- 18:00Speaker 7: all right, so look, bring me everybody's stuff. Let me
- 18:03Speaker 7: at least after lunch. They all come in here and

- 18:10Speaker 7: is this the right button here? Okay, hello, it's not.
- 18:14Speaker 11: The right button.
- 18:15Speaker 2: We keep.
- 18:18Speaker 12: What I'm hearing, so we might have to be kidding me.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I've been with us, I've been with us for five years,
- 18:23Speaker 2: all right, I'm not I'm not let you down for
- 18:24Speaker 2: a quarter, the company down for a quarter.
- 18:26Speaker 9: This is this is ridiculous.
- 18:27Speaker 4: I cannot believe this.
- 18:29Speaker 11: And I'm on travel right now, so how am I
- 18:31Speaker 11: going to come and get my things?
- 18:33Speaker 1: But this is ridiculous. This is how you're gonna let
- 18:36Speaker 1: us know that this is unprofessional, This is trash.
- 18:39Speaker 11: I cannot believe you.
- 18:40Speaker 6: If you only need a lawyer, I have someone, I
- 18:42Speaker 6: have contact.
- 18:43Speaker 11: We can talk.
- 18:44Speaker 4: But honestly, sureman, this.

- 55:49Speaker 9: better time. I'm o some furniture around last weekend in
- 55:53Speaker 9: my new place. It turns out that was a really
- 55:55Speaker 9: bad idea because all that bending and lifting and pretending
- 55:58Speaker 9: I'm still twenty five, I didn't agree with my knees.
- 56:01Speaker 9: So I grab a lead because when my body pain
- 56:04Speaker 9: shows up, I need something that less. With just one
- 56:07Speaker 9: pill a leave less up to twelve hours. Don't let
- 56:10Speaker 9: those aches and pains hold you back from doing what's
- 56:12Speaker 9: important to you. Use as directed. You're listening Steve Harvey

- 56:44Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Let us thank you, nephew.
- 56:48Speaker 9: Subject I wear the pants in the family here Stephen Shirley,
- 56:53Speaker 9: I'm thirty two and I married a man that's never
- 56:56Speaker 9: done any kind of physical work. He sells insurance like
- 56:59Speaker 9: his daddy, and his parents bought us the house we
- 57:02Speaker 9: live in because he pays all of the bills.
- 57:04Speaker 1: He likes to throw it in my face that we
- 57:06Speaker 1: don't have a house.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Note.
- 57:08Speaker 9: I work part time, so I have more time on
- 57:10Speaker 9: my hands to take care of our three sons and
- 57:13Speaker 9: things that need to be done around the house. I
- 57:16Speaker 9: am writing this letter because I do some things that
- 57:19Speaker 9: women shouldn't have to do. Just recently, I had to
- 57:22Speaker 9: get a wasp ness off the porch and hose down
- 57:26Speaker 9: our driveway after we had a heavy rain.
- 57:29Speaker 1: He saw me doing the work and thought it was funny.
- 57:31Speaker 9: He won't pick up the vacuum a mop, mowed the lawn,
- 57:35Speaker 9: or put his clothes in the washing machine. I also
- 57:38Speaker 9: get the boy's haircuts once a month, and I buy
- 57:40Speaker 9: all of their clothes, which they often hate. My husband
- 57:44Speaker 9: even expects me to initiate sex. He said we can
- 57:48Speaker 9: do it whenever I want it, because he knows I'm
- 57:51Speaker 9: usually tired from a full day.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Of moving around with the kids. I hate that for me.
- 57:56Speaker 9: I've asked him to participate in this marriage, and he
- 57:59Speaker 9: thinks that his financial contribution is adequate. The ongoing joke
- 58:03Speaker 9: with our friends is that I wear the pants in
- 58:05Speaker 9: the family. It's no longer funny to me. I can
- 58:08Speaker 9: go back to teaching full time and take care of
- 58:11Speaker 9: my boys without him. I can leave him in his
- 58:14Speaker 9: house that his parents got him and see how long
- 58:17Speaker 9: he can take care of it without me. His mom
- 58:20Speaker 9: is still living, and she agrees that her son can
- 58:23Speaker 9: do more to help me out, but she won't dare
- 58:26Speaker 9: mention it to him. I resent my husband more than ever.
- 58:29Speaker 9: Can I give my husband an ultimatum? Or is he
- 58:33Speaker 9: a lost cause? Please help?
- 58:37Speaker 2: All right?
- 58:38Speaker 9: You're married to a very selfish, very arrogant, very lazy
- 58:43Speaker 9: man period.
- 58:44Speaker 1: I mean, what does he think this is?
- 58:46Speaker 9: You literally do everything in the family and he thinks
- 58:50Speaker 9: it's okay because he pays all the bills. No, I
- 58:55Speaker 9: don't what man would be happy to see his wife,
- 58:58Speaker 9: the mother of his sons, doing all that you do,
- 59:01Speaker 9: getting wasp messed down, powerwashing the driveway. Come on, now,
- 59:06Speaker 9: I think You've let his behavior go on way too long,
- 59:10Speaker 9: and now you're ready to leave because you've had enough.
- 59:13Speaker 9: But your husband checked out of this marriage years ago.
- 59:16Speaker 9: He's got a couple of dollars that he can hang
- 59:18Speaker 9: over your head so he feels like he can do
- 59:21Speaker 9: whatever he wants to do. I mean, money does not
- 59:24Speaker 9: make a marriage. It can break one, though, for sure.
- 59:28Speaker 9: It is either too much money people don't know how
- 59:30Speaker 9: to act, or is not enough money and it's just
- 59:32Speaker 9: too hard to make the marriage work because you don't
- 59:35Speaker 9: have enough.
- 59:36Speaker 1: But your husband doesn't seem to be interested in you
- 59:38Speaker 1: or the marriage.
- 59:40Speaker 9: I don't think you need to give him an ultimatum.
- 59:43Speaker 9: I think you need to give yourself an ultimatum because
- 59:47Speaker 9: either he starts pulling his weight at home with the boys,
- 59:50Speaker 9: or you just do what you said you were gonna do,
- 59:52Speaker 9: go back to work full time and raise the boys
- 59:55Speaker 9: without him. You've been doing it by yourself this long.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Anyway, Steve, one question, why did you marry him?
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: You know, whenever I get these letters, I try to
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: find some redeeming quality in the person that the letter
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: is about. Usually in all of these letters, you have
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: someone that has a complaint towards another person. That's usually
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: what these letters are about. So what I try to
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: find when I get these letters is some redeeming quality
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: inside of the person that the letter is about. You've
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: married a man that's never done any kind of physical work. Now,
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: I don't know if he's older than you. You thirty two,
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: but y'all have already had these three boys. He sells
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: insurance like his daddy did, and his parents bought us
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: the house we live in now. Because he pays all
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: the bills. He likes to throw it in my face
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: that we don't have a house. Note now, let me
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: stop right here. The house note is usually our large
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: This bill, am I right? That's usually the largest bill.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: So if your daddy and mama brought you the house,
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: what bill is you bragging about?
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Girl?
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Did you see that water bill came in here at
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: forty dollars? You see me pay that water bill?
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Did you see the electricity bill that came in this
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: month one hundred and ten?
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: You see that?
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: What's Let me ask you, guys something, what's the average
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: electric bill at a at a house?
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: What do you think? Just get me down? Five sixty
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: five hundred.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: That's just electric.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Are you talking about water too?
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: That's yeah for the electric, about five hundred and sixty
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: for electricity.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: This is a regular house, not a mansion. Get right
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: over here.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: Hey, y'all, y'all running on generator was honey anyway, So
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: he's paying, he's paying these regular deals. I'm assuming, idiot.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: That's why I have to ask.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but now he paying these bills.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: And he wanted to throw that in your face, but
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: his mama and them gave him the house note. And
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: then you're writing this letter because you say you're doing
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: some stuff that women shouldn't have to do. You're getting
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: hornets nests down out and washing down the driveway.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: He saw you doing the work, and he thought it
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: was funny. Ah ha ha he he hel.
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: He don't pick up a vacuum, mop, motor lawn, put
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: his clothing.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: He don't motor lawn. He don't what he do? What
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: what does he do? And now you done got tired
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: of it?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: All right? Hang on?
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: He been trifling for a long time, though he ain't
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: just last week.
- 1:03:01Speaker 9: We'll have part two of your response coming up to
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: Steve at twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter subjects
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: I wear the pants and the family. We'll get back
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hi,
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: this is Shirley's Strawberry and I'm partnering with the leave.
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: Let me tell you it couldn't have come at a
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: better time. I'm ow with some furniture around last weekend
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: in my new place. It turns out that was a
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: really bad idea because all that bending and lifting and
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: pretending I'm still twenty five didn't agree with my knees.
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: So I grabbed a leave because when my body pain
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: shows up, I need something that lasts. With just one pill.
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: A leave lasts up to twelve hours. Don't let those
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: aches and pains hold you back from doing what's important
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: to you. Use as directed, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject I wear the
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: pants in the family.
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Well, you know that's not cute for a woman to
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: have to say that she's thirty two. She married to
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: a man that has never done or doesn't do any
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: physical work at all. He's selling insurance like his daddy.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: His mother and father bought them the house, gave it
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: to him, so they don't have a house. No, And
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: he throws it up in her face all the time
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: that he pays all the bills. She works part time
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: so she can spend more time at home doing things
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: around the house and taking care of the three sons.
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: She writing a letter because she feels that she's doing
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: some stuff that women shouldn't have to do. She evene
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: got the hornets and nets down off the porch, holds
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: down the driveway out of heavy rain.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: He saw her doing the work and he started laughing.
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: He won't pick up a vacuum a mop, he don't
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: mow the lawn, He don't put his clothes in the
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: washing machine. I get the boy's haircuts once a month
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: and buy all their clothes. Now that one troublesover me
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: right in there.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you know that's a.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: Ritual or father taking his son to the barber shop. Yeah,
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: that's a rite of passage.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: So this dude right here, I mean, he's just he's
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: missing out on really some great moments. But he feels
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: as though since he's paying all the bills, that's all
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: he gotta do. And she buys all they clothes, which
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: they often hate. My husband even expects me to initiate sex.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: He says we can do it whenever I want, because
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: he knows I'm usually tired from before day of moving
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: around with the kids.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: I hate that for me. Well, okay, you will do
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: it whenever you want.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: M Okay, just sound like something else is happening here,
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: But that ain't what's in the letter, So don't throw
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: that out there. I've asked him to participate in this marriage,
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: and he thinks that this financial contribution is adequate.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what a lot of men think.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: I've been accused of that before in my house, you know, Steve,
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: it's not just about taking care of everybody. Taking care
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: means a lot of other things, and I've had to
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: have that bought to my attention. So there are men
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: who think that their financial contribution is adequate. Don't go
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: and joke with our friends. Is that I wear the
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: pants in this family? Well, it ain't no longer funny
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: to me. She said, I can go back to teaching
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: full time, take care of my boys without him. I
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: can leave him in his house that his parents got him,
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: and see how long he can take care of it
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: without me. His mom is still living and she agrees
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: that her son can do more to help me out,
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: but she won't dare mention it to him. I resent
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: my husband more than ever. This is what this letter
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: is all about. I resent my husband more than ever.
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: Can I give my husband an ultimatum?
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Or is he a lost cause?
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: Please help me? Now you have no choice and to
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: issue the ultimatum. And I think your ultimatum is in
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: the letter. You can say, I'm gonna go back to
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: teaching full time, take care of my boys without you,
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: because you don't do nothing anyway. And I can leave
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: you with this house that your parents bought you and
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: see how long you can get along without me. Now
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: that's the ultimatum, because I'm tired of doing everything and
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: you do nothing.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: I'm tired of you laughing at me, wash down the
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: driveway and get hornets, and that's down. I'm tired of it.
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: I'm tired of you thinking that all you got to
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: do is pay some bills and you've made your contribution.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Well, it's more than that. Your boys don't even know you.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: I take him to get haircuts, and the reason I
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: take them to get haircuts is because the barber is
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: really cute and they've often asked me where you were,
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: and I told him I don't know, but the barber
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: did come to the football game. So I think you
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: got I need. I think you need to get into
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: the ultimatum bills is now. The part about that he
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: don't want sex unless you want it out, that's a
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: whole nother conversation.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: I'm not gonna throw that out there because that ain't nothing.
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: But that you have to your husband towards your husband
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: is real and it's justified because you are doing the most.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Let me just say this to the men out there,
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: just because you pay the bills, that's not all too.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: Being a father and a husband is hard work and
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: it's a constant pull and tug. And I'm not saying
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: that being a mother is not because I can't imagine
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: what that is. They manufactured children, so and to that,
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: I there's nothing we can do to top that. But
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: this thing that you think because you bought some money
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: to the table, that's it. Well, she bought three lives
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: into this world, and she manufactured and produced them, and
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: she takes care of everything. You got to issue ultimatum, lady,
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: That's all I'm saying to You got to get something
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: going in your direction, because the resentment is not going
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: to end unless you get some help. Because like as
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: women oftentimes say, I could be miserable all by myself.
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: That one thing about being miserable, You don't need a
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: lot of help. You just don't need a lot of
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: help to be miserable. You do that by yourself, though.
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: But what's crazy is when you got somebody adding to
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: the misery.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Oh man, But what this.
- 1:09:21Speaker 9: Is troubling to me? Steve this line in this letter
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: where he says where she says that he doesn't want
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: sex unless she initiates it. So if she does nothing,
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: he'll do nothing.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: He'll do nothing with her.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, whatever man or the marriage.
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: Yeah, it's called something else has happened. But that ain't
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: what the letter about. So I don't want to throw
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: that out there.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: But it's troubling though that it just really is what's
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: going on? Why does she have to initiate it?
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: All right?

- 1:11:37Speaker 2: I watched the game.
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: Yes, yes, straight sweep for the Mercury too, four games
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: to nothing, nothing nothing. That was so so congratulations to

- 1:11:55Speaker 8: Auburn on Saturday. Man, very big. The number two will
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: never be one again. Cam Newton had an awesome twenty
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: ten season. Do you see remember that season he had
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: on Man went undefeated for auburns, got the national championship,
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: then was drafted number one overall by Carolina.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: That is how you get your jersey retired.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: That boy that was a bad boy. He don't get
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: enough credit. And the way the officials treated it was
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: just like crazy man. That brother don't get enough credit.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: He was a bad boy. Man, Cam Newton was a
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: bad boy.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: NFL MVP, went to the Super Bowl, changed the quarterback
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: position for Carolina in the NFL, just by him.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Just the the size of Cam Newton. Man, how big
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: is Cam? Were standing there to some signs on him?
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: Way bigger than me. Me standing next to Cam Newton
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: is like y'all standing next to me?
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Say that again, town, You say.
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: Y'all standing me standing next to Cam Newton is like,
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: y'all standing next to me?
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: You feel that small to you? No, I don't really
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: consider y'all small. I just know size. Have you seen
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: y'all standing next to Shack y'all mean yeah, y'all mean
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: standing next to k Last time I was y'all size.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: That's what I didn't want to do right now he's
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: going to be. But on the real dog, it was
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: junior high from eighth grade.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: You can't say, go ahead, all right.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: I'm just telling you real, I'm getting high school. I
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: was six feet already last time I was day side
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: in high I just remember, right I was junior.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: You asked him how big Cam was?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: Thank you, j your coming up at the top of
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: the hour. A man wants to know how to change
- 1:13:53Speaker 9: his in laws impression of him. Right after this, you're
- 1:13:57Speaker 9: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: All right, Stee, this is.
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: From Landon in Kansas City. He says, my in law
- 1:14:06Speaker 9: stayed with us last weekend. I went out Friday and
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: had a lot of tequila. When the uber dropped me off,
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: I sat in the garage for a few minutes to
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: get myself together. I urinated in the bushes on the
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: side of the house. I got urine on my jogging pans,
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: so then I had to wait for them to dry.
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: I went inside when the lights went off in the
- 1:14:26Speaker 9: living room. When I got in the bed, my wife
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: said that she and her parents saw everything on the
- 1:14:32Speaker 9: garage cameras. Now her parents think I'm a drunk. How
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: do I fix this with my wife and my in laws?
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Fick that doll? You do like I did?
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: What what'd you do?
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Just the way I changed my image of my in law.
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: I just got it divorced, yeah, relationship, yeah, I just
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: got a divorce.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: And then it didn't matter what you felt about.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I don't care what you think of me now, yeah,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: So go ahead, people, I want to pee, you tell
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: me where to peek. I peed on my jog and suit.
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: Not your.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: You and you and you're judging me? Wow, I said
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: the car.
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: I try to get myself together, so I come in
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: here and be respectful. Uh huh, I renated on my
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: jog and suit. I was outside peeing in my bushes.
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Y'all sitting up in here in my house.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Couldn't he he was right at home. Couldn't he wait
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: till he got inside making sure?
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: He couldn't get sure? That's not how men do we.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: We don't have what y'all have. Y'all can cut y'all
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: bladder off?
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: We can't do.
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: Yes, Yes, I don't understand how you can't hold it
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: all right, Yeah, we can.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Hold it, but it's gonna be a little drizzled.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: It's okay, okay, you know.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: It's like right foid rain. You know how you get
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: a few specs for warning, Get on in the house.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Do you understand the concept of too far? That's too far?
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: That's too far?
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: No?
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: No, I don't really why I think. I don't think
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: you do. I really don't.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: I mean you asked me.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: We have time for another one.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: This is from Sheila and Richmond.
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: Sheila says, I had a date with a guy and
- 1:16:30Speaker 9: I told him I wasn't looking for anything serious, and
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: he asked if I just wanted to be a sex buddy.
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: I tried it, and for the first time in my
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: sixty one years, it's so refreshing to be able to
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: have sex with nose strings attached. I was married for
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: eighteen years? So is there something wrong with me because
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: I enjoy casual sex?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: I don't? Will you asking Austin? Yeah? She is who
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: she asked of. Is too shoe.
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: For you?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, so the bottom line question is what is
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: it something wrong with having casual sex?
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Is it something wrong with her? Specifically? She's sixty one,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: she was married for Okay.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: See, I don't take your age out of this.
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: I don't really know how to answer this based on
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: your age, because by sixty one I was through having
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: casual sex. But prior to that, though, it has been
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: some of the most rewarding moments of my life.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I got sixty one.
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I was out of casual sect. I stopped having
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: casual sex at forty nine.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Uh, when you got married.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Right at forty nine? Yeah, but prior to that though.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Okay, so you're just right now, cash, I'm ready to
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: go too far.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: Okay, Well, I was just saying, you know it's just
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: cash you well, it just you know, it's on casual.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: You know this is it? Okay.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I just want you to be aware of what you're doing.
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: If you're gonna do that there, you're gonna need more
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: than one telephone. I'm gonna tell you that question.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: What you got.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: You got to know which ones to pick up and
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: which ones not too cussin. All them casual people had
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: a different number.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I remember when you had about three or four phones.
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: Yeah, hell, yeah, yeah, and surely yes, I was living
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: my best life. It was the roughest point of my life.
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: But oh, okay, right here, right, don't say anything else.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Just keep you right here.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: It's hard to juggle that much though.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Coming we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to The Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:19:43Speaker 1: is a thong with that. The other was just play.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: You asked that question?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: You have none?

- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Yes you can, No, I don't.
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: I don't really see the purpose of it. It's not
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: nothing I'm interested in. The purpose is to get the
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: throng off. That's the purpose. Quick time, worth much quickly?
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Well, y'all do one brought up? Y'all gonna quit? Bring

- 1:22:13Speaker 2: I can't do it. I can't do it for you.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Part of part A and put it with part B.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: You can't rewrite the question.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: What's the first one, Shirley sex being stupid? Well, we
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: know who think he's that. But what's the other option?
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Or super smart and ugly?
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Well he's not super smart.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Pick your own?
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Which one can he be? Can he be stupid and
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: odd looking?
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Just too super and sexy?
- 1:23:02Speaker 13: Or that's what you think you are right now anyway?
- 1:23:09Speaker 13: And the other option is super smart and ugly?
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: You want that?
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna go with that, because if I'm super smart,
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: I'm gonna figure out how to make some money, and
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: then once I make the money, I'm gonna be cute
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: to somebody.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: So especially I can promise you that.
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: I can promise you that you could be super smart
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: and ugly, and if you make enough money, somebody go
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: thank you cute?
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: Okay, Okay? Would you rather lose your facial hair for
- 1:23:41Speaker 9: two years? Or lose your sex drive.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Right now, I'm not.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: Filling lose.
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: Well now I'm going to use a sex drive because
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: you take this hair off my face. I'm not in
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: hair sex with nobody anyway. Ain't nobody, Ain't nobody gonna
- 1:24:06Speaker 5: look at me or go God, don't. But I can't
- 1:24:10Speaker 5: do is be answering the question all day? What happened
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: to Steve? Where's his eyelash?
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: His ask coming up?
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: Mustache? Where's his well? Where's his eyebrows?

- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Felicius Shot and you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:44Speaker 9: Hey everyone, quick health question. Even though you're still thriving,
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: still loving, still connecting, did you know your immune system
- 1:24:51Speaker 9: weakens with age.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: That's where vaccines come in.
- 1:24:54Speaker 9: They help train and strengthen your immune response to fight
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: off certain respiratory illnesses like new macaccle, pneumonia, RSV, and
- 1:25:02Speaker 9: COVID nineteen this fall, Ask your doctor which vaccines you
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: need and visits vaccisist dot com. That's Vaexsist dot Com
- 1:25:10Speaker 9: to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the day. It's been a great day. It's been a
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: fun day. Hump day.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: Yeah again, our condolences go out to DiAngelo's family.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Yeah, what a loss. He will be missed in the
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: music industry for sure. I don't know anyone who didn't
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: love DiAngelo's music.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: So good. Yeah. Oh hey.
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: In closing, you know we were talking earlier. Junior proposed
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: a question to me about procrastination and the role that
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: it plays in a person's life, and I just wanted
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: to warn everybody against procrastination. Be very careful out there,
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: folks of putting off tomorrow what you can do today,
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: Be very careful of that. Be very conscious of the
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: gift of now. Be very appreciative of the gift called
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: the present, because they call it the present because it
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: is a gift to exist in the present. The past
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: belongs to history, The future belongs to God, not you.
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: So when you put off today, you throw it into tomorrow.
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: You throw it into something that you have no idea
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: of what's going on. See right now, you have a
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: conscious idea of what's going on. So when you have
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: the opportunity to do something, do it in the moment
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: that you have the control over, which is now. When
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: you put something off and cast it into tomorrow, do
- 1:27:01Speaker 5: you know that tomorrow comes with a whole new set
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: of challenges, a whole new set of what IFFs. Do
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: you know that tomorrow can completely reshape your day, your thinking,
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: your life. Do you know that you could receive some
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: tragic news tomorrow? Do you know that it can all
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: turn around for you tomorrow? Do you know the stuff
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: that can be added on your life tomorrow?
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: What tomorrow don't.
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: Need is today's problems. So address them today, get it
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: done today. What you do today can affect your tomorrow.
- 1:27:43Speaker 5: If you've put another building block on your letter of success,
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: if you put another wrong on your letter of success,
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: if you put another brick on your wall of your future,
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: when tomorrow gets here, it'll be that much stronger, that
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: much sturdier.
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: But if you keep.
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: Delaying the building of the wall, the building of the structure,
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: the building of your dreams, when do you think those
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: dreams are going to come true? Because guess what, tomorrow
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: just may get here. And if it gets here, and
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: if you've made no preparation for it or done nothing
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: to secure it, or or or participate in it. Wow, procrastination.
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: The other danger of procrastination is its habit for me.
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: I think you all know a person like that too.
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: Think about it in your circle of people that you've
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: ever known. Don't you know somebody that always puts something off?
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: But can't you look at their life and it explains everything,
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: don't it. Most people I know that practice procrastination they
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: lacking in a lot of areas of their life because
- 1:28:54Speaker 5: it's habit for me. Get in the habit of getting
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: it done now, habit of proactive, Get in the habit
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: of making steps, Get in the habit of understanding that
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: inch by inch anythings is cinch. Get in the habit
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: of producing something today for your tomorrow. Don't put off
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: today into tomorrow, because tomorrow is gonna come with a
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: whole other set of circumstances. You may not get this
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: opportunity to do what you had a chance to do
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: today because of the circumstances of tomorrow. You gotta stop procrastinating, y'all.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: You gotta start building that future. You gotta start building
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: that life. You gotta start putting them building blocks together
- 1:29:40Speaker 5: for your dreams. Everybody wants to be happy and everybody
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: wants to be successful, but you gotta do something towards it.
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: You make one step, he'll make two. Faith is the
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: belief in things that you cannot see. You ain't got
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: to see how it's gonna turn out. You got to
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: keep putting one foot in front of the other, and
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: then ask God to auder your steps. See if you
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: ask God to audio steps, knowing how the outcome, it
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: takes that away from you because now you've done the
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: simple thing. If you're doing you're doing what God wants
- 1:30:14Speaker 5: you to do. You've asked him to audio steps. And
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: when has God ever led you wrong? That's the crazy
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: part about asking God to auder your steps? When has
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: God ever led you down the wrong path? But you
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: know how many times you have though, You know how
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: many times we have picked the wrong way to go.
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: Had we just asked God, God would have told us,
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: don't do that. But since we don't ask, we just go.
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: And then we got to undiscovered ourselves because God gave
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: us the power of choice. Choose not to procrastinate, choose
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: to get it done today, choose to ask God to
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: audio steps choose the right way. I was doing a
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: podcast recently. One of my partners asked me to say, Love,
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: why you always pick the hard road?
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: You always go to hard way? Why you always pick
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: the hard road? You know what I told my partner?
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: I said, what makes you think? I see two roads?
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: That's just the way to go. That's the way to it.
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: In order to get to it, you gotta go through it.
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: There is no other way for me. And I asked
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: God to order my steps, and I get to step in.
- 1:31:36Speaker 5: Y'all do the same. Have yourself a great day. Stop procrastinating,
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: y'all do something for your future tomorrow. And lastly, but
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: not have all. The last thing I want to say,
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: talk to God. He was absolutely.
