- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like amazing bus things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steh. To start joy, you gotta use that turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water, y'all come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back. Uh huh, I show well, good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know, I
- 2:16Speaker 1: thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
- 2:23Speaker 1: positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dwell on
- 2:28Speaker 1: you know, the what's well. I can't say that I
- 2:30Speaker 1: don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
- 2:33Speaker 1: have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But I try not to let them consume me. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
- 2:45Speaker 1: things that has occurred in my life, the good things
- 2:48Speaker 1: that God has done for me, the power that He's
- 2:52Speaker 1: displayed in my life, the protection He's given me over
- 2:55Speaker 1: the years. To being tucked under his wings. I focus
- 2:59Speaker 1: on the things that he promises me. I think of
- 3:02Speaker 1: all all the goodness that I perceived to come my way.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:08Speaker 1: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 1: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: put out into space, and what you pray about is
- 3:17Speaker 1: what you receive. You know, and so I've become better
- 3:21Speaker 1: and better at that. It's not to say that I'm
- 3:24Speaker 1: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:28Speaker 1: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 1: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 1: going to do and saying and all of this his
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's not to con say that I'm not concerned about it,
- 3:39Speaker 1: but I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:50Speaker 1: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:55Speaker 1: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my life, and I was taking myself into directions
- 4:03Speaker 1: that I thought would be best for me, and I
- 4:07Speaker 1: aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: I set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I was driving. When I gave up and I let
- 4:20Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:24Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, For what God
- 4:29Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:37Speaker 1: he wanted for me, and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:47Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:50Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and as offsetting as you think
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:04Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:08Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:10Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:13Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:15Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:19Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man because see,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:28Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:31Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:33Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:36Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:41Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:43Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:46Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:49Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:52Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:55Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:58Speaker 1: totally differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:06Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:09Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I promised God I would, and I hope that
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:25Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:28Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me, because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:36Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:40Speaker 1: because I'm still shocked. You can't be him. You can
- 6:44Speaker 1: strive for perfection. I hear people saying it all the time.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I applaud you for saying you want to be perfect,
- 6:49Speaker 1: but you ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You quit saying it to me, quit saying it to
- 6:55Speaker 1: other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's
- 6:59Speaker 1: something that you can not have because he said you
- 7:01Speaker 1: can't do it. But that's what he'd have for. He'd
- 7:04Speaker 1: have for the moments when you stumble and you fall,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and you're gonna stumble and fall. So you got to
- 7:09Speaker 1: get that part right. Man to stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But see, you get God in your life and it
- 7:15Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll over,
- 7:19Speaker 1: laid air, languish. That's what God is for. So when
- 7:24Speaker 1: you stumbling, fall, you get back up because you're going
- 7:27Speaker 1: to make mistakes, You're going to get it wrong, You're
- 7:30Speaker 1: going to come under attack, You're going to be lied about,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you are going to be falsely accused. That's going to
- 7:38Speaker 1: happen to you the moment you make a decision to
- 7:41Speaker 1: do better the moment you try to be more. The
- 7:44Speaker 1: devil got to send his attackers, man, and he controls
- 7:48Speaker 1: certain people. He just got people as on his side
- 7:51Speaker 1: twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all met
- 7:54Speaker 1: one or two of me in your life. They're just
- 7:57Speaker 1: busy with the business of nothingness. They're just busy about
- 8:01Speaker 1: to do about the destruction of others. You said, I
- 8:04Speaker 1: know him, you know him. They coming. But here's what
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to hold fast too. They can't take away
- 8:11Speaker 1: nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
- 8:16Speaker 1: people who claim to have made you, if they're so
- 8:20Speaker 1: in to make you business, why don't they make theyselves?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Or if they ain't with you no more, and they're
- 8:25Speaker 1: so busy in them I made you business, why don't
- 8:28Speaker 1: they make somebody else? Since since you want to get
- 8:32Speaker 1: credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're responsible for
- 8:38Speaker 1: someone else's success, then you should easily be able to
- 8:41Speaker 1: take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:44Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:47Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. I
- 8:51Speaker 1: just hope man, that I'm giving it to God. The
- 8:54Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 8:56Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:58Speaker 1: supposed to out being, you know, or here he come again?
- 9:02Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, But man,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:06Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show? What else you want me
- 9:08Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours? I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:17Speaker 1: give an honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:21Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:25Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve
- 9:27Speaker 1: minutes to give him out the day. That don't make
- 9:30Speaker 1: no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life God
- 9:34Speaker 1: has given me in exchange for so small of effort
- 9:37Speaker 1: that I put forth. Don't let the effort you got
- 9:39Speaker 1: to put forth to God seems so dawning that you
- 9:41Speaker 1: don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems like
- 9:44Speaker 1: a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what he'd
- 9:46Speaker 1: be given us for real. So if you want a
- 9:48Speaker 1: real life, you want a real shot at what you
- 9:50Speaker 1: can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:52Speaker 1: what you can become, who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man. That's all. Good morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, animal trainers in such alike.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Let me have your divided attention. This is the Steve
- 10:12Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. If you thought it was anything else,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you have to know, this is the baddest morning show
- 10:19Speaker 1: on planet Earth. If there's any terrestrial song showings or
- 10:23Speaker 1: things like that, terrestrial beings out there with radio shows,
- 10:27Speaker 1: we're bad it than YouTube. You have no ratings. Ladies
- 10:31Speaker 1: and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morning Show, Good morning, Shirley. Call
- 10:36Speaker 1: up Junior, Tommy Mississippi Monica, good morning, Yeah, good morning,
- 10:44Speaker 1: Top Top. I didn't want to say nothing, but my
- 10:48Speaker 1: NFL picks wash off the shame this past week. Oh
- 10:56Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about it, man, Okay, go ahead, Junior,
- 10:59Speaker 1: what you got? Let me ask you something. And this
- 11:03Speaker 1: is probably everybody's probably going through this, probably some people
- 11:06Speaker 1: on the show too. Man. You just don't know these kids. Man,
- 11:08Speaker 1: My nephew having some issues and I'm gonna need some help.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Let me something, so I got Yeah, he called yesterday
- 11:17Speaker 1: a couple days ago about a PlayStation five. He won't
- 11:21Speaker 1: play Stay five now nineteen now, yeah, and he he
- 11:27Speaker 1: won't play the five and he nineteen Now. I'm not
- 11:29Speaker 1: buying the PlayStation five because you're not in school and
- 11:32Speaker 1: you ain't got no job. Why are we talking about
- 11:34Speaker 1: PlayStation five? So now he's saying I'm being difficult. I said, well,
- 11:37Speaker 1: you being broke? So do you have anything to motivate
- 11:40Speaker 1: broke teenagers did this morning? No? No, I don't. The
- 11:44Speaker 1: best way I helped broke teenagers is not to honor
- 11:46Speaker 1: any request they make? Can I get a PlayStation five?
- 11:51Speaker 1: I didn't buy you a PlayStation four, so I don't
- 11:57Speaker 1: see where you at. I've missed out on PlayStation three.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I never heard about PlayStation two. I didn't buy you
- 12:04Speaker 1: the first when they came out calling PlayStation I didn't
- 12:07Speaker 1: buy you a damn the Tendo. I didn't buy you
- 12:11Speaker 1: the new uh Gag. You didn't buy Palm. I didn't
- 12:16Speaker 1: buy you nothing, So why are you talking to me now? Secondly,
- 12:19Speaker 1: you're nineteen years old. You don't need a PlayStation. You
- 12:23Speaker 1: need a workstation. That's what you need. You need somewhere
- 12:27Speaker 1: to report in and check in and your ass sit
- 12:29Speaker 1: at till they give you a check then you can
- 12:32Speaker 1: buy a PlayStation five. But I think when you first
- 12:34Speaker 1: get your money, you ain't gonna buy no PlayStation five
- 12:36Speaker 1: with it. Now you know why, because you're gonna buy
- 12:38Speaker 1: something necessary like some drowns. But see, y'all, you're gonna
- 12:42Speaker 1: call me about a damn PlayStation. Don't ask me about
- 12:45Speaker 1: no damn PlayStation until you get your ass or workstation.
- 12:50Speaker 1: That's what we're working right here. I don't give about
- 12:53Speaker 1: damn about a tari. I don't get damn about pac Man.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I don't care nothing about no Xbox Let don't PlayStation
- 13:01Speaker 1: nine or whatever they then came out with. And when
- 13:04Speaker 1: they get to nine, don't ask me about that one eig.
- 13:07Speaker 1: That's my motivation. Can I get a hair cut? Now?
- 13:10Speaker 1: You tell me? Can you get a hair cut? Hey? Man?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Can I get one hundred dollars so I can anno? Yeah?
- 13:20Speaker 1: One stay of work age? Did not all requests, and
- 13:23Speaker 1: that pushes them to get employed. Man, stop enabling your nephew.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Tell him like I told mine, You ain't my damn
- 13:34Speaker 1: nephew coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:39Speaker 1: We're gonna start the show off with nephew. Timmy's run
- 13:42Speaker 1: that prank back right after this. You're listening stry morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, guys, time now to start your morning off
- 13:50Speaker 1: with the nephew and run that prank back. What you
- 13:53Speaker 1: got for us? Enfe I got? I got thunderbolt, thunder bolt,
- 14:01Speaker 1: thun the boat. Let's go catch up? Hello, hey man,
- 14:06Speaker 1: let me speak not here? Who's called? Hey? Just thunned

- 14:20Speaker 1: ain't in here now, but you know what I mean?
- 14:22Speaker 1: I was what you need? Hey, Uh, I'm trying to
- 14:25Speaker 1: following up on. I'm trying to actually get an address
- 14:28Speaker 1: and stuff. Man, she got me dancing this weekend on

- 15:24Speaker 1: on saturdays. Now, my girl she goes schools on saturdays. Man,
- 15:28Speaker 1: you know now, don't want listen all right forever. I'm
- 15:32Speaker 1: blown away by you trying to tell me squeaking married

- 16:21Speaker 1: are you as you listening? Man? I can't get my

- 19:03Speaker 1: nothing to do with you, no way. Hey her name

- 19:25Speaker 1: I'll tell you where I am gonna get my three
- 19:27Speaker 1: hundred dollars though. I got one fifty and I'm gonna
- 19:29Speaker 1: get the other one fifty one. Squeaky, get home. You
- 19:31Speaker 1: ain't getting it from me. You're gonna get your buzzer

- 19:52Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked

- 20:27Speaker 1: more thing. I gotta ask you, man, what is What

- 20:33Speaker 1: in the lands, the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on,
- 20:40Speaker 1: come on here too early? You got too much? All right?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Come on, I'm still stupid. Come on, prank. Thank you?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Coming up next, ask the cello chief Love Officer Steve
- 20:52Speaker 1: Harvey in the building right after this. You're listening Steve
- 20:56Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Were in trending entertainment news, some very sad news and
- 21:03Speaker 1: our deepest condolences going out to Snoop Dogg on the
- 21:05Speaker 1: passing of his mother. We're praying for you, Snoop. In
- 21:09Speaker 1: other trending news, what is going on between Boosey and
- 21:13Speaker 1: nas X. And you've heard GQ magazine said Steve Harvey
- 21:17Speaker 1: is a style icon. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:20Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour. Yes, yes, they
- 21:23Speaker 1: did blue cheese, but right now it is time for
- 21:26Speaker 1: your favorite segments. Steve asked the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 21:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Ready for your love questions. This one is
- 21:35Speaker 1: from Tally in Kansas. Tally writes, my seven year old
- 21:39Speaker 1: son came home and told me that his dad has
- 21:41Speaker 1: a new girlfriend and he hates her. I told him
- 21:44Speaker 1: that's not nice to say about anyone, and he said
- 21:47Speaker 1: she made two steaks for her and his dad, and
- 21:50Speaker 1: she gave him chicken tenders. I spoke to my X
- 21:54Speaker 1: and asked if my son was telling the truth, and
- 21:56Speaker 1: he said that his child is fine with chicken tenders
- 22:00Speaker 1: only seven. Now we've got a problem because my ex
- 22:03Speaker 1: is on board with his unequal treatment of his own child.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Should I talk to um? Should I have a talk
- 22:08Speaker 1: with them before this gets any worse? What? Well, we
- 22:14Speaker 1: have a situation here, Tally. First, your question was your
- 22:20Speaker 1: son hates your ex's new boyfriend. Well, now you have
- 22:26Speaker 1: well you hate her. Note so we're not everybody in
- 22:31Speaker 1: talent house hate the new girl. So now we do
- 22:34Speaker 1: have a problem, and you've spoken to him and the
- 22:38Speaker 1: seven year old on his state, NA I can understand.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I don't know why you got the chicken tenders turned
- 22:44Speaker 1: into hate for you. I would have been more than
- 22:47Speaker 1: happy when I was seven and plus. When I was seven,
- 22:50Speaker 1: back in them days, I wasn't allowed to say I
- 22:51Speaker 1: didn't want nothing. I hate them damn chicken tenders and
- 22:54Speaker 1: shut my damn mom. If I don't know my mom
- 22:56Speaker 1: bought them damn chicken tenders. Em chicken daders would have
- 22:59Speaker 1: got packed up in me and it wouldn't have been
- 23:01Speaker 1: as hard to go to the bathroom next time. So
- 23:03Speaker 1: that's it would have happened. Yeah, you know what, now
- 23:09Speaker 1: you just let these chicken tenders out the next time
- 23:12Speaker 1: you go, So that's why it would have happened in here. Um,
- 23:15Speaker 1: do you have a little situation. I think you should
- 23:18Speaker 1: just talk to him, your ex, and uh, he really
- 23:22Speaker 1: would have been fine with the chicken tenders. I think
- 23:25Speaker 1: this is an overreaction. Your boys seven years old. He's smart,
- 23:29Speaker 1: he's manipulative. He knowed come in here with you and
- 23:32Speaker 1: say the right thing. So please be aware of how
- 23:35Speaker 1: smart and cunning kids are. I'm gonna come in and
- 23:38Speaker 1: upset my mama. I'm gonna tell her I hate her
- 23:40Speaker 1: because they had steaks and they gave me chicken tenders. Well,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you know you got a little bit of ass teeth,
- 23:47Speaker 1: so you know you got a little baby teeth, little
- 23:50Speaker 1: baby teeth post to eat chicken tenders. I don't think
- 23:53Speaker 1: it's that big of a deal, and I wouldn't let
- 23:55Speaker 1: this little boy drive a wedge in it right now.
- 23:57Speaker 1: This unequal treatment is because he not equal. What you
- 24:02Speaker 1: don't like is it was done by the new girlfriend
- 24:06Speaker 1: and he made sure you knew it. Yeah, quite a
- 24:09Speaker 1: sneak move from the seven year old that loves his
- 24:12Speaker 1: mother dearly tally, and he's just doing what little boys
- 24:15Speaker 1: do because he doesn't know yet that it's okay to
- 24:18Speaker 1: love two people. He does not know that yet, and
- 24:22Speaker 1: so he's picking sides and he's chosen you. But let's
- 24:26Speaker 1: not make it any harder than it can be. Very good.
- 24:29Speaker 1: The chicken Tenders was fine, fellow, all right. Moving on
- 24:33Speaker 1: to Aaron in Oklahoma. Aaron says, my mother's sixty four
- 24:36Speaker 1: year old boyfriend makes comments about my butt and it's
- 24:40Speaker 1: making me uncomfortable. I'm five to three and I'm a
- 24:42Speaker 1: curby girl, but I dressed very conservatively. I've told my
- 24:46Speaker 1: mother that he is a dirty old man, and she
- 24:48Speaker 1: said he means no harm. It is an underhanded way
- 24:51Speaker 1: of giving a compliment. My husband is about to get involved,
- 24:55Speaker 1: since my mom thinks it's cute. I'm forty years old,
- 24:59Speaker 1: so I don't my husband's help. How do I stop
- 25:02Speaker 1: this dirty old fool? Uh No, no, let your husband
- 25:05Speaker 1: handle it. Let your husband handle it. But but just
- 25:11Speaker 1: let him handle it. You're forty, You don't need your husband.
- 25:14Speaker 1: You don't. But the husband can talk to him. A
- 25:18Speaker 1: little bit difference him a man. Any more comments about
- 25:20Speaker 1: my lady behind. It's gonna be a problem for you.
- 25:22Speaker 1: But you're behind. You just got a little man said
- 25:25Speaker 1: it'll be a lot quicker. See you then already went
- 25:29Speaker 1: to your mom about it. It didn't work out. Now
- 25:32Speaker 1: you're gonna go to him. How you think it's gonna
- 25:34Speaker 1: work out? Let your husband talk to the man and
- 25:37Speaker 1: it'll be done. It's just a respectful conversation. He that's
- 25:41Speaker 1: sixty four year old, don't want it forty. He don't
- 25:44Speaker 1: want that what he wants. See, I'm sixty four, I'm tenure.
- 25:49Speaker 1: That ain't what we won't look at. He's scared of it,
- 25:54Speaker 1: but we don't need that. A lot of speed moving
- 25:58Speaker 1: around in that room, and it ain't coming from him.
- 26:03Speaker 1: A lot of speed in that room. Lot ain't doancing
- 26:06Speaker 1: it ain't coming from the sixty foliol All right, moving
- 26:10Speaker 1: on behind, You're on point this morning, Celo Courtney and
- 26:15Speaker 1: Tampa writes that I am recently divorced and I have
- 26:18Speaker 1: a crush on my coworker. I heard he's messing with
- 26:21Speaker 1: another girl at work, so I don't need or want
- 26:24Speaker 1: any drama. He won't admit that he's messing around, but
- 26:27Speaker 1: the fact that he's sneaking around with me makes me
- 26:29Speaker 1: believe it's true. We've done everything except go all the way,
- 26:33Speaker 1: and I want him badly, but for some reason, he's
- 26:36Speaker 1: holding back. I invited him to my house, but he
- 26:39Speaker 1: won't come. Does this mean he is with another woman
- 26:42Speaker 1: and he's trying to be faithful to her? Lady? Are
- 26:45Speaker 1: you for real? Yep, she's for real? Wait are you
- 26:48Speaker 1: for real? Courtney? You all have done everything but go
- 26:51Speaker 1: all the way. He won't go all the way. You
- 26:54Speaker 1: invited him to your house, but he won't come. You
- 26:57Speaker 1: know he's dating a coworker that he's full around with.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You don't want no drama, but you right on the
- 27:03Speaker 1: edge of creating drama. I can't. I can't help you, Courtney,
- 27:07Speaker 1: because it seems to me like you want to do
- 27:10Speaker 1: what you want to do regardless. Now you just need
- 27:13Speaker 1: Uncle Steve's permission. I'm not gonna give it to you.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That's what you want. You're dating this man is dating
- 27:20Speaker 1: another woman on the job. But he won't admit it.
- 27:23Speaker 1: But you know it. He don't admit to you either.
- 27:26Speaker 1: You just got divorced. Why would you jump into somebody
- 27:30Speaker 1: that's in a relationship. That's probably why you got a
- 27:33Speaker 1: divorce in the first place. Somebody would reach somebody already
- 27:40Speaker 1: in a relationship, Courtney. Let's not be stupid here, Courtney.
- 27:46Speaker 1: There are other men out there. Open up your pool,
- 27:50Speaker 1: get on a dat now. Quit trying to find your man.
- 27:53Speaker 1: At your job and your church. It's the same people
- 27:56Speaker 1: down now every week church, open up your But it's
- 28:02Speaker 1: the same men every week at the church. Ain't no
- 28:05Speaker 1: new men coming to the church. It's new women coming
- 28:08Speaker 1: to the church. Ain't no new men coming to the church. Alright,
- 28:13Speaker 1: me and signed up for church like Republicans sign up
- 28:16Speaker 1: for the vaccine. We don't want it right there right there? Wow,
- 28:32Speaker 1: does this mean he's with another woman and he's trying
- 28:35Speaker 1: to be faithful to her. It means he don't want you.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But what you're trying to put it out here. He
- 28:42Speaker 1: don't want you. He hadn't done everything with you except
- 28:46Speaker 1: go all the way. You'd invited him over the house
- 28:48Speaker 1: and he won't come. One and one is two. Yes
- 28:52Speaker 1: what you won't whatever he doing, don't worry about that.
- 28:55Speaker 1: He don't won't you. Hello, damn, that's it. Come on, Courtney,
- 29:02Speaker 1: Come on, Courtney girl. All right, thank you. Clo coming
- 29:06Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour entertainment news right

- 30:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Nation can move the needle, move the needle
- 30:25Speaker 1: to We turned cities blue because Atlanta in Philly in

- 30:32Speaker 1: feel how you want to feel. But I can show enough.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Get eyeballs on the damn article. GQ dot com slash
- 30:37Speaker 1: Steve Harker. Also, I would like say congratulations to my
- 30:41Speaker 1: youngest daughter who is really turned things round. She is
- 30:45Speaker 1: completely sold out, completely sold out. It was a stunner,
- 30:54Speaker 1: everybody scrambling trying to get more products. Now completely sold out.
- 31:00Speaker 1: You do it, yes, sold out all right now, And
- 31:07Speaker 1: shout out to Ellie two because he's your stylist. He's
- 31:10Speaker 1: your stylist. Great kid man, really really great talented young dude.
- 31:14Speaker 1: My wife is really responsible for bringing him on board,
- 31:17Speaker 1: not me. I have to take I have to give
- 31:19Speaker 1: her credit for that. She saw it. I didn't. She
- 31:21Speaker 1: saw him slimmer suits. I didn't see that either. She
- 31:24Speaker 1: saw a lot of things I didn't see it. Yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: she didn't. She didn't see that. No more. I asked
- 31:28Speaker 1: her why she didn't like the big suits, and her
- 31:31Speaker 1: exact quote was, I'm tired of being married to a
- 31:35Speaker 1: pimp and what offended? But yeah, two thousand and nine,
- 31:41Speaker 1: that's when I heard that statement. Yeah, yeah, But Ellie
- 31:47Speaker 1: Corombo man, great, great young guy, because you know what
- 31:51Speaker 1: it is. It's you know, I've always liked dressing and
- 31:54Speaker 1: I've always liked styled. The problem I was missing. I
- 31:57Speaker 1: was missing colors m for being a talk show host.
- 32:01Speaker 1: And and when he yeah, and when he designed my
- 32:06Speaker 1: suit for the NFL Honors and I wore this this
- 32:11Speaker 1: fu shure tie shirts and boom, the guy that runs
- 32:15Speaker 1: celebrity family feud sare why don't we let Steve Harvey
- 32:18Speaker 1: dress like that on family Feud? Celebrity family Feud? And
- 32:22Speaker 1: because I used to wear the same suit, because they
- 32:24Speaker 1: didn't know what order they was gonna put it in here,
- 32:26Speaker 1: so they said, yeah, let's do that. And that started
- 32:29Speaker 1: it over there. And then he asked me, what was
- 32:31Speaker 1: the one thing I was missing. I said, I missed colors, man,
- 32:34Speaker 1: because I was doing this talk show host thing for
- 32:37Speaker 1: so long, and I just I just missed colors. And
- 32:40Speaker 1: then I don't have the ability to go out and
- 32:43Speaker 1: shop all these places. You know, when I was in Paris, Man,
- 32:46Speaker 1: we had a good time shopping, but I don't really
- 32:49Speaker 1: spend a lot of time in malls and going to
- 32:51Speaker 1: stores and stuff. But he got to take you to
- 32:54Speaker 1: the mall. I tried, while well, at the moment, I
- 33:00Speaker 1: don't want to go to mall. I had to go
- 33:01Speaker 1: through mel Detective. I just want to just yeah. But
- 33:07Speaker 1: I just want to say that right there. And so
- 33:08Speaker 1: I'm back into colors and stuff, and I'm enjoying myself.
- 33:11Speaker 1: If we do a lot of collaborations, you know, stuff
- 33:14Speaker 1: that I've always thought about doing. But he's really a
- 33:17Speaker 1: talented guy. So yeah, a lot of credit goods with
- 33:20Speaker 1: your greens and your blues and your pinks and all right, Yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 1: I like that level you live of shirt shirts. If
- 33:33Speaker 1: you're gonna we never put it on, you know what
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm saying. And you don't need to worry about how
- 33:39Speaker 1: much that one called you find one. So whatever, don't
- 33:41Speaker 1: get that one now. All right, here we go, Little
- 33:44Speaker 1: nas We're gonna switch gears here. Little nas X has
- 33:48Speaker 1: found a new way to get under wrapper Boosey skin.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Boosey has been outspoken, aiming numerous homophobic rants at Little
- 33:55Speaker 1: nas X. So when Little Nas claimed on Instagram Lives
- 34:00Speaker 1: that he has a new collab with Boosey coming soon,
- 34:02Speaker 1: Boosey was really mad, all right, he tweeted, stopped trolling
- 34:06Speaker 1: me a whole B word playing with the gangster shaking
- 34:10Speaker 1: my head, as well as some homophobic slurs. Um. Things
- 34:14Speaker 1: got even nastier towards the end of the message, uh,
- 34:17Speaker 1: telling Little nas he'd be doing the world a huge
- 34:19Speaker 1: favor if he commits suicide. So then Little nas X
- 34:24Speaker 1: responded saying, I'm truly saddened. I have never been so
- 34:27Speaker 1: mortified in my life. I can't believe Disney Channel has
- 34:30Speaker 1: yet to play Halloween Town for the entire October month. Um,
- 34:35Speaker 1: so he didn't he addressed Boosey in the way, you know,
- 34:39Speaker 1: in a way that he didn't address him. People thought
- 34:41Speaker 1: he was addressing Boosey, but he flipped it and talked
- 34:44Speaker 1: about Halloween Town, the Disney movie. So I mean, this
- 34:48Speaker 1: is a feud right here. This is just a huge feud.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Went to get well. Yeah, Boose a little different guy.
- 35:01Speaker 1: But I don't think nas X is affected by him
- 35:04Speaker 1: in the least. Bill. He seems to be really secure
- 35:08Speaker 1: in his skin and hoping he commits suicide, ain't gonna
- 35:12Speaker 1: have him so because that little dude is pretty much
- 35:15Speaker 1: secure in his own skin. Conversed on Social Man, I'll
- 35:22Speaker 1: be happy stop. You know all right? I don't know
- 35:27Speaker 1: none of his songs though, No, I don't know Rod
- 35:34Speaker 1: Time Road. You know that? Wait, that's who that is? Yeah, yes,
- 35:42Speaker 1: you didn't know that. I didn't know that. I damn that.
- 35:51Speaker 1: We're gonna tell you about a group of dads combating
- 35:53Speaker 1: violence at a Louisiana high school. We'll talk about it
- 35:57Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Morning show. We love this
- 36:02Speaker 1: story about a group of forty dats in Shreveport, Louisiana.
- 36:06Speaker 1: These dads formed a group called Dads on Duty Steve.
- 36:10Speaker 1: They did this to come back the violence at Southwood
- 36:13Speaker 1: High School in Shreveport. There have been a lot of
- 36:16Speaker 1: fights recently at the high school, and not the police,
- 36:19Speaker 1: campus security, nor the school officials could keep the peace there,
- 36:24Speaker 1: they were like twenty three arrests of student fighting. That's
- 36:27Speaker 1: a lot, twenty three. So some of the dads got
- 36:30Speaker 1: together and said, we are the best people to take
- 36:33Speaker 1: care of our own kids, and they formed dats on duty.
- 36:36Speaker 1: The dads now patrol the school hallways daily and it's
- 36:40Speaker 1: worked out. Not a single fight, not a single fight,
- 36:44Speaker 1: and the kids started going to class. Okay, the school
- 36:47Speaker 1: loves it and said, not everybody has a father figure,
- 36:50Speaker 1: and this is making a huge difference already. No trayshawn
- 36:55Speaker 1: daddy downhill, right, y'all heard about trayshawn daddy because you know,
- 37:02Speaker 1: father had him grown man as hands. There's rugging on
- 37:07Speaker 1: the outside, got all on them, you know, yeah, it
- 37:12Speaker 1: got cuts on them. You don't know if it's from
- 37:13Speaker 1: knuckle busting or he got it cut up on the
- 37:16Speaker 1: car engine. And just I'm just telling you, man, the
- 37:19Speaker 1: presence of a male role models change the attitude of
- 37:23Speaker 1: young males because young males are going to duplicate the
- 37:29Speaker 1: males that are around them, good or bad. I think
- 37:33Speaker 1: this is an outstanding move. It's it's working out. Like,
- 37:37Speaker 1: say congratulations to Dodd. Dad's own duty down there in Louisiana,
- 37:42Speaker 1: thank you so much, he said, the best thing we
- 37:46Speaker 1: know to hand alet children better than anybody else. Yeah,
- 37:49Speaker 1: and it's working. That's the great part. It's working. The
- 37:52Speaker 1: kids are going to school, they're going to class, sitting
- 37:56Speaker 1: in class. I love that part. No more like one
- 37:58Speaker 1: of them dadd has throw you up again the locker.
- 38:00Speaker 1: It's a different feeling. It's way different security, homie. Yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 1: it's grown man. He ain't got to Yale or nothing. No, man,
- 38:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you man, they grown man strength. When
- 38:11Speaker 1: you in high school and you become aware of it,
- 38:14Speaker 1: it's shocking. Yeah. And look at the power. I mean,
- 38:18Speaker 1: not the police. School security couldn't do anything. School officials,
- 38:21Speaker 1: not even the police. And here come the dad's Look
- 38:24Speaker 1: I'm not everybody. Yeah, I'm not saying this is how
- 38:27Speaker 1: it's done. But my father hit me in the chest
- 38:30Speaker 1: when I was in the twelfth grade, you know, because
- 38:33Speaker 1: I took that car and I didn't come back when
- 38:35Speaker 1: I said I was coming back with it. He hit
- 38:37Speaker 1: me in my chest. Dog, I could ask him for
- 38:39Speaker 1: the car. Yeah, damn that. I'm not gonna do it again. Yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna ask for the car. No, right,
- 38:51Speaker 1: same thing having moved my dad, I found out there's
- 38:53Speaker 1: a difference between working out and work them two different strengths. Yes,
- 39:00Speaker 1: I work it out, my daddy do work picking pallette
- 39:05Speaker 1: so yeah, telephone poles, Oh, that's different strength. All right, guys,
- 39:12Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, Steve
- 39:14Speaker 1: is gonna check his voicemail. We'll listen to your calls
- 39:17Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Let's go
- 39:23Speaker 1: to the phones. Let's go check your voicemail. You want
- 39:26Speaker 1: to leave Steve a voicemail? Hit him up at eight
- 39:28Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine. Steve, Now are you ready? Steve?
- 39:32Speaker 1: I'm ready. Let's go. Here we go. We got these
- 39:35Speaker 1: celebrities and refused to go take the vaccination shot. And
- 39:39Speaker 1: when they go to the doctness doctor prescribed in medicine
- 39:41Speaker 1: for this, in medicine for that, they don't know what's
- 39:44Speaker 1: in there. So what's the difference. Take the shot, Kyrie
- 39:48Speaker 1: Irving shot. Oh, you gotta kind of understand what dude
- 40:00Speaker 1: coming from. You know, first of all, celebrities can be
- 40:04Speaker 1: incredibly influential. That's for starters. So we have to be
- 40:08Speaker 1: mindful and careful about the messaging we put out. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:15Speaker 1: from Boots on over to Kyrie, on over to Me,
- 40:20Speaker 1: on over to Tyler, on over to Zenda, whoever you are.
- 40:26Speaker 1: You have to be mindful of the messaging that you're
- 40:29Speaker 1: putting out. But as far as the vaccine goes, I'm
- 40:32Speaker 1: alarmed because let me explain something to you. For every
- 40:36Speaker 1: game that Kyrie Irvin Missus is somewhat to the tune
- 40:40Speaker 1: of four hundred and thirty five thousand dollars a lot
- 40:43Speaker 1: of money per game. Now, I don't know what point
- 40:48Speaker 1: you're trying to prove about the vaccine, but let me
- 40:51Speaker 1: offer you this food for thought. If someone told people
- 40:57Speaker 1: I'll give you four hundred and thirty five thousand dollars
- 41:01Speaker 1: to take the vaccine, we'll be out of vaccines, right,
- 41:05Speaker 1: We'll be out of vaccine because I want to first one,
- 41:08Speaker 1: the second one, and the booster, and I like the
- 41:10Speaker 1: antibiotic shot. Do I get anything for that at the
- 41:14Speaker 1: same time I want it? That's how uncaring I'm gonna care.
- 41:22Speaker 1: So I did what he say? You got another one show?
- 41:24Speaker 1: All right? Yeah, let's go. Hi. My name is Benita Barrier.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I was just calling because I was in um, well,
- 41:31Speaker 1: this a friend show. It was trying to lead up
- 41:34Speaker 1: to a relationship. But the guy had said that God
- 41:39Speaker 1: had told him that I was not the one. So
- 41:43Speaker 1: do I continue to conversate with the girl or do
- 41:48Speaker 1: I just shit everything down? So can you please give
- 41:51Speaker 1: me some information about that? Thank you? Oh but Nita,
- 41:56Speaker 1: if a man goes to the extreme to tell you
- 42:00Speaker 1: that God told him you're not the one, I don't
- 42:06Speaker 1: know what you're fighting this fault. I mean, it's kind
- 42:12Speaker 1: of hard to argue with that one. But for I'm
- 42:15Speaker 1: gonna tell you right now, for a man to go
- 42:17Speaker 1: to that extreme, he looking for out, and the best
- 42:23Speaker 1: way for him to get to out is to come
- 42:25Speaker 1: out and tell you God told him. Like it ain't
- 42:28Speaker 1: no bigger voice you can hear. So, but Nita, there's
- 42:32Speaker 1: nothing to continue. Remember, in the words of Judge Toler,
- 42:36Speaker 1: don't ever let a man have to tell you twice
- 42:39Speaker 1: he don't want you. He's telling you he don't want you,
- 42:43Speaker 1: and he's backed it up with God told him. I mean, dude,
- 42:50Speaker 1: I've never heard a dude tell a woman that before
- 42:53Speaker 1: God told me that you're not the one for me.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I've never heard that. I've been around a long time.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I've had I've had some men thank that, But I mean,
- 43:02Speaker 1: you really trying to hurt a woman when you go
- 43:04Speaker 1: to a woman and you tell her, hey, listen, God
- 43:07Speaker 1: told me that you're not the one that's rushing. I mean,
- 43:11Speaker 1: come on, man, come on, man, you're trying to hurt
- 43:18Speaker 1: this girl that. If that's that's over the top, just
- 43:20Speaker 1: break up. You ain't gonna God gonna drag God into this.
- 43:24Speaker 1: I talk to God, all right. You don't think God
- 43:27Speaker 1: would have told you that early on in the relationship, correct, right,
- 43:32Speaker 1: God would have told you first day? All right, shade
- 43:35Speaker 1: the phone calls, y'all, keep leave a little voicemail for us.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Call us at eight ninety nine twenty seven ste that's
- 43:49Speaker 1: damn messages. I'll be damn it never has been calling
- 43:53Speaker 1: eight ninety nine. It's eight seven seven, twenty ninety damn,
- 43:59Speaker 1: no wonder no your number. Thanks for all the calls.
- 44:06Speaker 1: That was fun, all right? Coming up next, it is
- 44:09Speaker 1: the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:15Speaker 1: you're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 44:19Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after,
- 44:22Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today and the subject is
- 44:25Speaker 1: I've had two lovers for too long. We'll get into
- 44:29Speaker 1: that in just a bit, but right now, yeah, yeah,
- 44:32Speaker 1: it's not what you think though. Right now the nephew
- 44:35Speaker 1: is here with today's prank phone call. What you got
- 44:37Speaker 1: for us? Now? Bad bugs? Excuse me, bad bugs, bad books. Wow,
- 44:44Speaker 1: somebody on this show has probably had big bugs at
- 44:47Speaker 1: one point or another. It is bad bugs. What Yeah,
- 44:51Speaker 1: somebody on this show probably has yes, yes, so you're
- 44:56Speaker 1: talking about yourself. You know it ain't when you had No,
- 45:04Speaker 1: I'm think brother, l let's go hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 45:10Speaker 1: to speak to Schnie. She's not here right now. If
- 45:13Speaker 1: I take a message, Uh, do you know when she's
- 45:15Speaker 1: coming back? Nah? Is this a business calls him? Na? No,
- 45:19Speaker 1: this personal. I need to talk to her immediately. NA,

- 45:31Speaker 1: I got a bit of a situation here, man. Uh.
- 45:34Speaker 1: And it's basically a financial situation that I'm owed some
- 45:39Speaker 1: money from her, So I kind of need to talk

- 46:07Speaker 1: see if she's gonna be able to pay me for
- 46:09Speaker 1: the situation or what. You know, my third old you
- 46:11Speaker 1: money she owes me twenty five hundred dollars, twenty five

- 54:53Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you. Here.
- 54:55Speaker 1: It is Strawberry letter, Thank you nephew. Subjects. I've had
- 54:59Speaker 1: two love verse for too long. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 55:03Speaker 1: a twenty nine year old single woman and I've got
- 55:05Speaker 1: two lovers that I live with. I don't know how
- 55:08Speaker 1: it happened, but I have two fine and successful male
- 55:11Speaker 1: roommates and I have been sleeping with both of them
- 55:14Speaker 1: for two years. I relocated to a new area six
- 55:17Speaker 1: months ago and my best male friend offered me his
- 55:20Speaker 1: spare room while I found a place. Soon after, I
- 55:24Speaker 1: moved in with him. He became my quote unquote maintenance man,
- 55:27Speaker 1: and we've had sex for fun with no strings attached.
- 55:31Speaker 1: He had a roommate the whole time, and one night
- 55:33Speaker 1: I got drunk and was home alone and his roommate
- 55:36Speaker 1: came in and tried me. It was his lucky night,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and I ended up in his bed. Since then, we've
- 55:42Speaker 1: been sneaking around and having sex when my friend is
- 55:45Speaker 1: not around. At this point, I want to be able
- 55:47Speaker 1: to choose a lover, but I don't have the commitment
- 55:51Speaker 1: from either man. They both are seeing other women, so
- 55:54Speaker 1: I understand my role in each of their lives. Out
- 55:58Speaker 1: of the blue, I met a very very nice and
- 56:00Speaker 1: handsome man at the mall and he asked me out.
- 56:03Speaker 1: He picked me up from the house, and my bestie
- 56:06Speaker 1: and my other roommate got a chance to meet the
- 56:08Speaker 1: guy before we left. Throughout my date, they both were
- 56:11Speaker 1: texting me that he's a cornball, and it made me
- 56:15Speaker 1: think that they were a little jealous, but I ignored
- 56:17Speaker 1: them both. The next day, I asked my bestie if
- 56:20Speaker 1: he thought we'd ever be more than just friends, and
- 56:23Speaker 1: he said that he doesn't want a woman that's been
- 56:25Speaker 1: with his boy. I was shocked to learn that he
- 56:29Speaker 1: knew all along that his roommate and I had a flame.
- 56:32Speaker 1: He told me that I've been with two lovers for
- 56:35Speaker 1: too long and it's time to stop. Time to stop it.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Why is he concerned if he doesn't really want me,
- 56:42Speaker 1: please help m I think you're asking the wrong questions.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I really do, because listen, you slept with two guys
- 56:51Speaker 1: under the same roof, two guys under the same room.
- 56:56Speaker 1: You should have felt that somewhere in your spirit or
- 56:58Speaker 1: something that that was not going to go well for you. Yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 1: you know, you said in your letta. They've each been
- 57:04Speaker 1: seeing other women, you know, and all of that. But listen,
- 57:08Speaker 1: they can do it, they just don't want you doing that.
- 57:10Speaker 1: And what you're doing, sleeping with two guys at the
- 57:14Speaker 1: same time under the same room, that's just not going
- 57:17Speaker 1: to go well. You know, they can do it, like
- 57:20Speaker 1: I said, and they don't want you doing it. It's
- 57:22Speaker 1: been like that for quite a while, probably since the
- 57:24Speaker 1: beginning of time. I'm thinking it's called double standard. And
- 57:28Speaker 1: with all you guys living together, it's just a constant
- 57:30Speaker 1: reminder that that you're doing his roommate too. And I'm
- 57:34Speaker 1: telling you this because you're twenty nine and there's a
- 57:36Speaker 1: chance that you might not know because that's how you're acting.
- 57:39Speaker 1: That's when he told you. That's why he told you.
- 57:42Speaker 1: I should say that he didn't want a woman that
- 57:44Speaker 1: sleeps with his boy. You know, they could do whatever.
- 57:48Speaker 1: And most men in this world will tell you that
- 57:50Speaker 1: what happened to finding your own place? Anyway, what happened
- 57:53Speaker 1: to that? I think you should still do that by
- 57:56Speaker 1: all means, move out, get your own place, leave the
- 57:59Speaker 1: path with these guys in the past. And of course
- 58:03Speaker 1: your roommates were hating on your date. They don't want
- 58:06Speaker 1: to lose you. I mean, you're there free and easy
- 58:10Speaker 1: like sex slave, sex toy. You know you're doing both
- 58:12Speaker 1: of them, you know whatever, whatever, But don't let their
- 58:16Speaker 1: feelings about your new friend make you run him off.
- 58:18Speaker 1: If he's a nice guy. You should chalk all this
- 58:20Speaker 1: whole experience up to experience in life. You had your fun.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Now it's time to grow up, all right, and not
- 58:27Speaker 1: do friends slash roommates under the same roof ever again
- 58:31Speaker 1: or ever. That's if you want any kind of serious
- 58:34Speaker 1: relationship in life, and I'm sure you will, you know,
- 58:37Speaker 1: in the future. So think about that, Steve. You know
- 58:41Speaker 1: what the letter really is kind of sad, Yeah, the
- 58:46Speaker 1: letters kind of sad, but it's also a letter feel
- 58:49Speaker 1: with stupidity. I mean, I just don't understand, little girl.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I don't know who you thought you was writing to.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I'm more than twice your age. I don't know how
- 58:59Speaker 1: you thought you say these things. Man, I could Okay,
- 59:02Speaker 1: let me show you just Steven Sherley, I'm twenty nine
- 59:05Speaker 1: year old single woman and I've got two lovers that
- 59:08Speaker 1: I live with, and I don't know how it happened.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You you don't know how you sleep with two people?
- 59:15Speaker 1: This ain't the letter being written by a four year old.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You're twenty nine. You know, good hair well how it happened.
- 59:21Speaker 1: You want me to tell you how because you plotted
- 59:25Speaker 1: and planned every time it happened. That's how it happened,
- 59:30Speaker 1: because you plot and planned it. Are you kidding me?
- 59:34Speaker 1: While you can't be twenty nine years old and scream
- 59:39Speaker 1: I'm naive or I got played, or I don't know
- 59:41Speaker 1: what this is sex? And you you have all this
- 59:44Speaker 1: information that you're gonna share with us later on. You
- 59:46Speaker 1: have all this information up front, gonna I'm gonna break
- 59:49Speaker 1: this letter down for you when I come back. But
- 59:52Speaker 1: you have two fine and successful male roommates that you've
- 59:55Speaker 1: been sleeping with both of them for two years. Two years, girl, please,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I relocated to a new area six months ago, and
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: my best man friend offered me his spare room while
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I found a place. I don't told y'all about your
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: damn best friend. Let's go, Sheley, We'll be bad. Hold y'all,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: I know you're excited. Hold on, we'll have part two
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the hour. I've had two lovers for too long. That
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: is a subject we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You're listening Stry Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject I've had two
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: lovers for too long. Twenty nine year old single woman
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: damn they're thirty, sets up here and writes us and
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: tells us she got two lovers that she lived with,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: and I don't know how it happened. Damn they're thirty.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: And don't know how you're sleeping with two people. It's because,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: like I said, you plot and playing every time it happens.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? I got two fine six sex
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: for male roommates, and I've been sleeping with both of
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: them for two years. I don't know how she thinks
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: she gonna get away with this for two damn years.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Like dudes, it's that stupid in the same house and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: they're not gonna notice. Look up. I relocated to a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: new area six months ago, and my best male friend
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: offered me his spare room while I found the place well.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Soon after I moved in with him, he became my
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: maintenance man and we have sex for fun with no
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: strings attached. Really, I won't excuse me, ladies, I thought
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: this was your best friend. I've told you all over
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and over about these male friends. Y'all, guys, they'll be
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: your male friend and unless they find a crack in
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the door and then there'll be something more. It happens
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: all the time, not every time. But here's the rule.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: If your male friend finds you attractive, how long you
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: think he gonna stay your male friend? Okay, I'm just
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: asking anyway, So now y'all having sex for fun with
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: no strings. He has a room, he's had a roommate
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the whole time, and one night I got drunk and
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: was home alone and his roommate came in and tried me.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: It was his lucky night. Really, so you wasn't that drunk,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and stop putting it on an alcohol. You said in
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: this letter you have too fine and successful male roommate.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: You've been thinking he fined the whole time. But y'all
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: weren't best friends. Also, Now women can't harlly be friends
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: with people they're attracted to either. I just discovered that
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: in this letter. But anyway, we'll not get into that
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: because that ain't what you're saying. So anyway, you ended
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: up in his bed, and since then, we've been listening
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to this. We've been sneaking around and having sex when
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: my friend is not around. Now you just sat up
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: at the top. I don't know how it happened, but
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I told you at the top because you plot and
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: plan it every time. So now you're having sex when
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: he not around. At this point, I want to be
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: able to choose a lover, but I don't have a
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: commitment from either man. Yes you do. That commitment is
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: to that girlfriend, and we're about to find that out. See,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: they both are seeing other women. They had then they
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: already in the commitment. You the side piece. You ain't
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: even the other piece of chicken. You the slough, you,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the bake being, you, the dirty rice, the dirty rice.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Yeah see, you ain't even another piece of chicken. You're
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: not the side piece. You're the side little girl. You
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: waved down the totem pole. Now they both are seeing
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: other women. I'm very a very nice and handsome man
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: at the mall and he asked me out. He picked
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: me up from the house, and my bestie and my
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: other roommate got a chance to meet the guy before
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: we left. Not throughout my date, they were both texting
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: me that he's a corn ball, and it made me
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: think that they were a little jealous. Well, they're not jealous.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: They hate us, and they playing you because see you
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: their little sex toy and now they got a chance
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to play with you while you out on a date.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: That could potentially be something. But it can't potentially be
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: nothing because what you cannot do is at a third level.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You cannot do that. You're busy. You gotta be exhausted
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: because you have sex with your bestie when he at home,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: and you have sex with roommate when he ain't around here.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: You can't come in the house. Hello, every time you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: come home. You gotta do something, ain't you time? Every
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: time you come in the house. You gotta do something
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: every time because one of them home, and if the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: other one gone, that's how you sneak around. He ain't him, man,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you got to be exhausted. The next day, I asked
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: my bestie if he thought we'd ever be more than
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: just friends. He said, he don't want a woman that's
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: been with his boy. Listen to this line. I was
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: shocked to learn that he knew all the long that
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: his roommate and I had a fleeing wait a minute.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: They're both in committed relationships. I told you you're not
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the side piece. You're just the side You ain't even
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: another piece of chicken. You to slough the corn bread,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: you the pack of hot sauce. A matter of fact,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: if they don't get you, they still gonna have chicken.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: So now you're sitting up in here as a side
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: You shocked you because they didn't talked about it. It's
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: been two years, ain't man. I just wanted to say something.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You know, when you ain't home, man, I'll be I'll
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: be tapping that wait manute, hold dog, I'll be with
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: my girl. I'd be tapping it too, for real. Oh man,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: ain't this crazy? She wild like that? That's it. I've
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: been with two lovers for too long and it's time
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: to stop. Why is he concerned if he don't really
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: want you? He do want you. Everybody like corn, everybody
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: like last potatoes. You just ain't chicken. I can tell
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you a little good now, Little girls, stop trying to
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: write something in there. You have nothing with either one
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: of them, man, because both of them know that you
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: ain't nothing to yourself. All right? Post your comments on

- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I said a three bedroom house is on the market

- 1:16:44Speaker 1: that means no mustache, Steve nothing, Oh Jesus complete? Did
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: you calling the Lord on that right now? How completely
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: had would you have to be? Nobody hair? No hair? No?
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I mean how would you when you say completely hair?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: How would you be covered in hair? Yeah? Like as
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: in Caveman? Hell yeah, werewolf wolf hair? You just talking
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: about what I got now, like sister Ded at the
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: church mustache, beard, hair and your nose between? Are you
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: talking about no eyebrows, no brows, no nothing. No, I'm
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: gonna take that hair. I'm gonna shape it up because
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: that hallis you feel to look like just damn blog.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You're feeling to look like emoji. I'm not fitting to
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: be no walking around, there's no damn emoji. Now that
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: ain't what I'm fitting to do. I ain't got no eyebrows,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: none mustache, no dog's I got problems with no eyebrows.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: A lot of women drama, I know, But this shocking
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: when you get up on it and you discover that
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: it's a drawing, that is artwork. Tattoo it's artwork. Yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you get that done too, but you gotta do something else.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I just don't like to discover that it's artwork that
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: you have none. All right, all right, moving on? Would
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: you rather sweat profusely in the bedroom or just have
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: insatiable dry mouth? Just would you rather sweat a lot
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: in the bedroom or just would you like to have
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: a dry mouth all the time. Now, I'm gonna take
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: the sweat. You're gonna sweat that dry mouth. Ain't no
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: good that dry mouth? You can you can't? You got
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: dry mouth? Boy in it? What hell? We're gonna fix it.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: The problem is do you want to be in that
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: sweating profusely or do you want in there with insatiable
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: dry can't fix it? No, No, I need that marsh
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: on that mouth. We're doing things. We need marsh on
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: your mouth. Well, I don't want to kiss nobody with
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: no dry mouth. All right, that's why you shot now, Yeah, dude,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: when you are and they gotta do with it. But
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: when you are going throwing in points that you want
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to get out how to cut them deep. Coming up
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after last break of the day and
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: the day on this Wednesday. Yea mm hmm, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I want to send out condolences to Snoop a lot
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: of his mother. Several of us on this show have
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: lost our mother. It's really no words at that time
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: that you can give a person that's comforting at all.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: All I say to people that's when they lose someone
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: did to them is that in due time, God will
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: allow you to feel better. Uh there's no time limit,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: there's no set amount of time, but just in time
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: you will feel better. There is no getting over it,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: there is no you know, and cliche answers that people
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: give you don't always help. Well, you know she's in
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: a better place now, you know that. That really that
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: never helped me. So I don't say that to people.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I just tell people, hey, man, be strong for those
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: around you that need it, and if you need strength,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: go to God to get it and hanging that man.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: In due time you'll be laughing about some of the
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: things that she taught you. But in the meantime, the
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: condolences go out to the family. You know. That kind
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: of leads me to my closing remarks too, because of
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: here's what I've learned in life. I don't know of
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: a relationship that you can have that's more powerful than
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: the one you can develop with God. Losing my mother's
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I'm sure a lot of you can relate to, was mortifying.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: But if I didn't have God in my life, if
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I didn't know what how prayer worked, if I didn't
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: know how to go to him and take him this
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: problem and ask for strength, I really don't know what
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I would have done. I just don't know. So for me,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: the most important relationship I've ever formed my relationship with God.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Now outside of that and your family. I gotta tell
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: you something, man, and I'm saying this on the heels
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: of what I just said. You can make the adjustments
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: in your life because you realize you have to go on,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: and you can make the adjustments in your life because
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: you can say things like they would want you to
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: go on and not sit around and mope, but to
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: pick yourself up and live the best life you can live.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: So you will find a way to live without your mother.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: You can live without your father, you can live without
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: your brother, you can live without your cousins, you can
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: live without your coworkers. But there's something in life that's
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: an absolute necessity. You have to have a friend. You
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: cannot live in this world without a friend. I'm telling you, man,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: it's very difficult. Now. If that friend is Jesus, you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: have something trust and believe you do. If your friend
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: is your God, your Lord, and your savior, you have
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: something there. But if you can manage somehow in your
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: life over the course, develop some friendships. I'm talking about
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: real ones. Now. I'm not talking about your associates. I'm
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: not talking about your fair weather friends. I'm talking about
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: some real friends. Man. I'm talking about when they get
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: real gritty. Now, I'm talking about them friends. I'm talking
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: about them friends that you can call no matter what
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you've done, and you can say, hey man, this is
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: what didn't happen to me, and they come and sit
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: with you and they started figuring out, hey man, what
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: we gonna do. Are you pass or you tell them
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: that you did something and they don't start passing judgment.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: They say, all right, man, let's try to work something
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: out with this. You have to have a friend. You
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: need somebody man that you can tell your deepest, darkest
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: secrets too. And they say, I understand that. Man, You're
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: gonna be all right because guess what. All of us
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: are flawed. That's not an unflawed human being on this planet,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: all of you, all of us, we're all flawed. You
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: got to have somebody man that can deal with them flaws,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: that say, hey, man, in spite of your flaws, I
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: got you. You're my guy, you're my girl. I got you.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I got my flaws too. If you can develop a
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: friendship or two, if you can get somebody who's down
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: with you no matter what goes down, that's valuable. Man,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: that is so valuable. There's an organization of great men
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: who have the translation of their Greek symbols that stands
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: for friendship is essential to the soul. That's an amazing thing. Man.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Brotherhood is not essential to the soul, need the sisterhood,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: but friendship is. Friendship is essential. You don't get to
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: you don't pick your family, you're just born into it.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: But your friends, you actually have the opportunity to select.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Be careful with who you call your friends, because there
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: will be times when you're going to call on them
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: and you will find out, truly who are your friends
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: and who are not. Be very careful. I was asking
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: young person one the other day, I say, how many
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: friends you got? I don't about fifteen? No you don't,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: No you don't, No, you don't. I don't know a
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: living soul with fifteen friends. Think about it. Pass out
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: the term friend cautiously, but make sure that when you
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: call on this person that they are first there, They
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: are non judgmental, and they are with you. Riley Die,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: those are your friends. If you have one or two
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: of those at any given time in your life, you
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: are blessed human being. Friendship is essential to the soul.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: It really is so, y'all think about that developer friendship
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: and if you got one, don't let nothing come between it.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks today. Hope you enjoyed it today.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: We had a great show today, a lot of new elements.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: We will continue tomorrow, God willing, we will see you
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: bright newly. Y'all. Be good piece for all. Steve Harvey
