- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bu bu things and it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve to mother for stay, don't joy. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out, to turn turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Yall, come come on your baby, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice. Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah, man, boy, God has been good to me. Man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't really count at all. You can't either, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 1: little thing. It's unbelievable the things He's done for us.
- 2:31Speaker 1: How many times you know, we got through something without
- 2:34Speaker 1: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 1: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:42Speaker 1: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 1: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:47Speaker 1: struggling out here, but guess what, you're still going to work.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You you know, you live in check the check, but
- 2:52Speaker 1: you're making it all. You got all the plates spinning.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know it's hard. You got a lot of plate spinning,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but you keep him up there somewhere. Every now, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: near one break, but he put two more back up
- 3:01Speaker 1: there to look a little bit better. And you got
- 3:02Speaker 1: to get to spending them so it all works. And
- 3:05Speaker 1: then you got a lot of people who just can't
- 3:08Speaker 1: seem to mentally put it together as to you know,
- 3:14Speaker 1: why their life isn't in a position that they wanted
- 3:17Speaker 1: to be. We talked about this oftentimes, but I want
- 3:20Speaker 1: to try another angle with you today. You know, maybe
- 3:24Speaker 1: it's you. Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Maybe it's no external force that's at fault, like you
- 3:34Speaker 1: keep making the excuse to be You know, so many
- 3:38Speaker 1: people I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this,
- 3:40Speaker 1: if he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have
- 3:42Speaker 1: done that, I would have been further along. I wasted
- 3:46Speaker 1: all my time, my years with this man, and he
- 3:49Speaker 1: did this, and I could have been here, and I
- 3:51Speaker 1: could have been there, and this woman she did this
- 3:54Speaker 1: to me. If she hadn't have done that I could
- 3:57Speaker 1: have been here, and I could have been there. Maybe
- 4:00Speaker 1: it's you. Maybe it's not really that external force that
- 4:05Speaker 1: you keep making it out to be. See, I've done
- 4:09Speaker 1: this to myself before. Once again, I'm talking to you
- 4:13Speaker 1: about something I know about. I've done this to myself before.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I've had the reason I wasn't where I wanted to be.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I had it figured out as some external force. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: had worked it out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me,
- 4:32Speaker 1: because if so and so, or if this hadn't happened,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and if they hadn't have done this, I would have
- 4:37Speaker 1: been further along up the road, That's what I was saying.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But WOLDO hold on, man, But I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See,
- 4:46Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:15Speaker 1: outside and try that, Try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you're looking at in
- 5:24Speaker 1: that rear view mirror is where you're passed or should
- 5:27Speaker 1: have passed, something you should have moved on from. All
- 5:31Speaker 1: you're doing is looking in that rearview mirror at what
- 5:34Speaker 1: happened back there. If you don't stop looking in the
- 5:38Speaker 1: rearview mirror, you're gonna crash your car over and over
- 5:43Speaker 1: and over again. All you got to slow it down
- 5:47Speaker 1: so bad in order for you to keep looking in
- 5:51Speaker 1: that rear view mirror. If you don't learn to let
- 5:56Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go
- 6:00Speaker 1: forward because you keep reviewing the past. The past is
- 6:06Speaker 1: the past, and I know it's hard. Man. I watched
- 6:09Speaker 1: a show and this lady said, well, I just can't
- 6:12Speaker 1: ever forgive them for that, or guess what. Guess what
- 6:17Speaker 1: God may have already forgiven that person. That person may
- 6:21Speaker 1: be extremely remorseful, could have gone to God and godd
- 6:25Speaker 1: and forgiveness for it years ago. But you you sit
- 6:30Speaker 1: here and you keep hanging on to the back. I
- 6:33Speaker 1: can't ever forgive that. M Then I heard Bishop Jakes
- 6:37Speaker 1: come on the show one time and say something that
- 6:39Speaker 1: really really struck on. You keep drinking the poison, waiting
- 6:45Speaker 1: on your enemy to die. He said that. I just
- 6:50Speaker 1: shook my head and went, wow, you drinking the poison,
- 6:55Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is poor to you,
- 7:03Speaker 1: you know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness, when
- 7:09Speaker 1: you won't forgive a person, that person could be going
- 7:13Speaker 1: on with their life, made the right with God. Don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life. Now. You
- 7:19Speaker 1: make adjustments every time you see them, and it takes energy. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it takes so much energy to hate. It takes so
- 7:26Speaker 1: much energy not to forgive too. That ain't come in
- 7:30Speaker 1: the room. You got to avoid them. Stay over here,
- 7:33Speaker 1: Oh here they come. Now you got to make a
- 7:35Speaker 1: situation over here. They come into the house. It's family reunion.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh here they come. And where they're gonna be in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the basement. I'm going up on the third floor. I
- 7:42Speaker 1: want to go ahead and get some barbecue. She out
- 7:44Speaker 1: there at the barbecue, staying, oh lord, I don't want
- 7:46Speaker 1: a barbecue. I just eat to take the salad. People
- 7:48Speaker 1: man take themselves all out of position, trying to make adjustments,
- 7:53Speaker 1: when if you it would simplify your life, if you
- 7:58Speaker 1: would let just let it go. Maybe you ain't where
- 8:01Speaker 1: you need to be because of them external forces altogether.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Maybe you're not where you need to be cause of you.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Because you won't let it go, you won't move forward.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Look at this, ladies. Let's say you've been in a
- 8:15Speaker 1: situation with a man for years. It didn't work out
- 8:19Speaker 1: for whatever the reason, it just didn't work out. I got,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I got what you say he did. I got what
- 8:25Speaker 1: he did. I got he anor that, YadA, YadA YadA.
- 8:29Speaker 1: When you get through, did not God get you through it?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Did not he allow you to survive it? I got you,
- 8:40Speaker 1: got some cuts on you, I got you been a
- 8:42Speaker 1: little bit bruised, But did he not get you through it? So,
- 8:48Speaker 1: now that he's freed you from it, now he didn't
- 8:50Speaker 1: went on. He got a whole other family over that somewhere.
- 8:53Speaker 1: He now he trying to make it right because maybe
- 8:55Speaker 1: he learned the mistake he made and now he trying
- 8:58Speaker 1: to be a better man. He just trying to get
- 8:59Speaker 1: it right now. But you're sitting there holding onto it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So now instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally
- 9:09Speaker 1: being free from a situation that was not healthy for you.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind
- 9:16Speaker 1: by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall
- 9:21Speaker 1: on his face. Maybe you're even doing something to the
- 9:24Speaker 1: other situation to make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ain't where you ought to be in life, not
- 9:34Speaker 1: because of your external forces, but maybe it's you. If
- 9:39Speaker 1: you don't let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 9:42Speaker 1: you to go. You can't keep driving your car looking
- 9:46Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is
- 9:52Speaker 1: not for the other person. Forgiveness is for you to show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. It is a Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Now listen. I don't know what you had planned today,
- 10:08Speaker 1: but let me give you a strong suggestion plan to
- 10:12Speaker 1: have a great day today. Put it in your mind
- 10:15Speaker 1: set that today is going to be a great day. Now,
- 10:19Speaker 1: if some problems or some situations beset you, that has
- 10:23Speaker 1: no reason to stop it from being a great day
- 10:27Speaker 1: because God is in the problem solving. Situation be set
- 10:31Speaker 1: business you did, so whatever befalls you today. Your relationship
- 10:36Speaker 1: with God will cover it. And you know how I know,
- 10:39Speaker 1: because it's covered every other situation you've been in. So
- 10:42Speaker 1: why not make today a great day. Welcome to the
- 10:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shirley Straw Bully beset me, Lord
- 10:48Speaker 1: beset me. Good morning, Steve. Ain't nobody here this morning.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Houston is swamped under the weather, but somehow can of
- 11:00Speaker 1: Prankston managed to fight through and find a way to
- 11:03Speaker 1: do that. Here, I'm here, Steve, I'm here. I'm on
- 11:07Speaker 1: a shoestring. I'm on a shoestring, but I'm here. Poding
- 11:10Speaker 1: got some stump stuck in Houston. Yeah, no power, no water,
- 11:17Speaker 1: So we're pulling form. Yeah and Stevens, let's go ahead
- 11:21Speaker 1: and say this now at the top. According to the
- 11:23Speaker 1: National Weather Service, over one hundred and fifty million people
- 11:26Speaker 1: are all under some kind of win winter weather advisory.
- 11:30Speaker 1: This is all due to extreme cold, the snow, the
- 11:33Speaker 1: ice throughout the country. The storm left at least five
- 11:36Speaker 1: million homes and businesses without electricity, and the icy roads
- 11:40Speaker 1: led to pile ups on the highways around the country.
- 11:43Speaker 1: So we are praying for all those affected by the
- 11:46Speaker 1: winter storm and just telling everyone to be safe. And
- 11:49Speaker 1: Tommy promises he's gonna get his generator this year. We
- 11:53Speaker 1: get this generator. No no, no, no, no no, not
- 11:55Speaker 1: as your Friday. I'm tired of gam and man is
- 12:01Speaker 1: he talking though? Tell us Tommy, what happened. I'm asking
- 12:04Speaker 1: somebody else's house. I'm ask somebody. I can't stay in it,
- 12:09Speaker 1: but I'm asking mad. My friend brother said, come on,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I came on, so me and my family all your
- 12:15Speaker 1: friends were radio station in his Who is powerful? This
- 12:22Speaker 1: is my ride to die? Baby? This Mark Boodroux right here,
- 12:25Speaker 1: bib and um, well, I brought my little my little
- 12:28Speaker 1: you know, I got my little radio portable box and
- 12:30Speaker 1: it's working. Hooked it up at his house. That took
- 12:32Speaker 1: an hour and a half, but we finally got it together.
- 12:35Speaker 1: You know, Black people trying to hook up electronics. It
- 12:37Speaker 1: is not good. We don't know what we do right now.
- 12:39Speaker 1: We don't know what we do, but we we got
- 12:44Speaker 1: it hooked up. But we've been up. We've been up.
- 12:47Speaker 1: But let's see what time is it. It's fire something here.
- 12:50Speaker 1: We've been up some about three o'clock this morning trying
- 12:52Speaker 1: to get it on. Actually got on at the last second. Yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 1: it sounds good. So we're good. We're good. We go,
- 12:58Speaker 1: But let me tell you what the roads really are bad.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I drove them. You know what they always say what
- 13:05Speaker 1: they always say when you go when you go overbridge,
- 13:08Speaker 1: that's bad. But you know what, when you go under
- 13:11Speaker 1: that's just as bad. It's slippery, man, it's slipping. Your
- 13:14Speaker 1: car can turn out and you think you and there's
- 13:16Speaker 1: people that be flying like why what what hurry you're
- 13:19Speaker 1: as seeing? Why are you flying by everybody? Man? That
- 13:22Speaker 1: makes no sense to me because people in the South
- 13:25Speaker 1: who don't get snow that they don't realize that you
- 13:28Speaker 1: can drive differently in the snow. They can stop, you
- 13:33Speaker 1: can flip your car. All right? Coming up in thirty
- 13:36Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, we're gonna do ask the
- 13:39Speaker 1: CLO the Chief Love Officer with Steve Harvey. Right after this,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're listening to Steven show time for CLO the Chief
- 13:49Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey the cloth as the nephew calls them.
- 13:53Speaker 1: You're ready, sir, I know you are all right. Lakeisha
- 13:56Speaker 1: and Hampton, Virginia says, I'm in my late twenties and
- 13:59Speaker 1: my best friend and I bought a home together her
- 14:01Speaker 1: boyfriend moved to our city a month ago and he's
- 14:04Speaker 1: been staying with us. She said it would only be
- 14:07Speaker 1: for a week, but he's still here. He's chipped in
- 14:11Speaker 1: financially and that's all finding good, But I don't want
- 14:14Speaker 1: his money and I don't want him to get comfortable here.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I told my best friend he's got to go, and
- 14:19Speaker 1: she said it's her home too, and it's okay for
- 14:22Speaker 1: him to stay another month if he needs to. How
- 14:25Speaker 1: can I get him to leave asap? Please advise? Well,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't think you can, because you all own the
- 14:33Speaker 1: home equally. You have no agreement that you can't have guests,
- 14:38Speaker 1: overnight guests. You have nothing in place that says how
- 14:41Speaker 1: long you should have guests. So I don't see how
- 14:45Speaker 1: you can make him leave. On another note, whom, Yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 1: this is why you don't do things like this, man,
- 14:57Speaker 1: This is probably the biggest per of your life, and
- 15:01Speaker 1: you do it not with your fiance, not with your husband,
- 15:04Speaker 1: but with your best friend and all y'all want to
- 15:07Speaker 1: have all the lives. Yeah yeah, so I mean, And
- 15:14Speaker 1: her best friend Cello is correct, it's her house too, right,
- 15:18Speaker 1: that's the deal. So how right? It's my house? And
- 15:23Speaker 1: le So you're not going to be able to get
- 15:26Speaker 1: him to leave until they're ready for him to go,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and he might stay forever, all right, Uh Felicia walking
- 15:34Speaker 1: around naked though, I'm just walking around naket it helps,
- 15:39Speaker 1: Felicia and Charlotte says, my husband and I have been
- 15:42Speaker 1: married for eight years, and he recently got an SUV
- 15:45Speaker 1: with cameras in the headrest for our four and six
- 15:48Speaker 1: year old to watch movies when they take road trips. Yesterday,
- 15:52Speaker 1: he drove me to get coffee, and as soon as
- 15:54Speaker 1: he cranked up and plugged in his phone, I heard
- 15:57Speaker 1: sex sounds coming from the TVA. Yes, he started fumbling
- 16:02Speaker 1: to turn it off, and he turned bright red. He said,
- 16:05Speaker 1: it must be a glitch in the entertainment system. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: think he had a woman back there watching porn. Am
- 16:11Speaker 1: I jumping to conclusions? God, split a minute, But you
- 16:18Speaker 1: said it was connected to his phone. Yeah, he plugged. Yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 1: as soon as he cranked up the car and plugged
- 16:24Speaker 1: in his phone, she heard the sound. Well, I mean
- 16:27Speaker 1: that's the bluetooth. I think. I don't know if it
- 16:30Speaker 1: has anything to do with him having a woman back
- 16:34Speaker 1: there watching pawn. I'm thinking he's got pawn on his
- 16:39Speaker 1: phone and the Bluetooth picked it up and ran it
- 16:43Speaker 1: through the system. I mean, you know, because unless you
- 16:47Speaker 1: have that stuff downloaded in your car somewhere, I don't
- 16:51Speaker 1: see how that can be. It's the Bluetooth is what
- 16:54Speaker 1: comes into play to me. I mean, this is terrible
- 16:59Speaker 1: because if the kids were with them, you know what
- 17:02Speaker 1: I'm saying. I mean, yeah, I know that, but I mean,
- 17:06Speaker 1: the cold thing is supposed this was a video on
- 17:10Speaker 1: right exactly. See, I don't know, I don't she's a
- 17:13Speaker 1: little slow. Let me think about was he sitting in
- 17:16Speaker 1: the back seat watching poor with another one with another woman?
- 17:19Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Yeah? Yeah, he could be
- 17:22Speaker 1: there back there watching it by himself or I mean
- 17:25Speaker 1: it didn't have to be shu. But to get on
- 17:28Speaker 1: the headsets, to get on the headsets in the car
- 17:30Speaker 1: has come from somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. So if he was
- 17:34Speaker 1: fumbling with his phone, it was the Bluetooth phone. This
- 17:37Speaker 1: phone all right, So there you have it. Man, what's
- 17:43Speaker 1: my name? What's my name? Anastasia and Seattle says, we're
- 17:48Speaker 1: moving on. I'm a thirty year old married woman and
- 17:51Speaker 1: I love my husband, but I fantasize about his handsome brother.
- 17:55Speaker 1: He's forty, with a six pack of carved out back
- 17:58Speaker 1: in muscular thighs, And when my husband and I are intimate,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm imagining myself and his brother's big old chocolate arms.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I've even mumbled his brother's name under my breath once
- 18:10Speaker 1: during sex. I watch his workout videos online and I
- 18:13Speaker 1: get all tingly. This all started a few weeks ago.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Do you think it's just a phase or should I
- 18:18Speaker 1: seek counseling? Please help me? What do you want us
- 18:21Speaker 1: to do? Is it just a phase or do I
- 18:24Speaker 1: need counseling? You need to quit, won't your brother's your
- 18:28Speaker 1: husband's brother, lusty? You know? Hell? Stop watching his damn video? Yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 1: getting yourself up? Quit calling his damn name. You know that?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Ain't your husband? How about that? What do you want? Yeah? Yeah,
- 18:43Speaker 1: this is something you can control for sure. You're right,
- 18:48Speaker 1: all right, and we're moving on. Paula in Boston says
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'm seventy one and I'm i am back on the
- 18:56Speaker 1: dating scene. I've been a widow for twenty five years,
- 19:00Speaker 1: and said, Okay, she's seventy one. Her name is Paula.
- 19:03Speaker 1: She's out of Boston, seventy one, she's back on the
- 19:06Speaker 1: dating scene. She's been a widow for twenty five years,
- 19:09Speaker 1: and she was casually dating a younger man for the
- 19:12Speaker 1: past two years. She said, we had sex a few
- 19:14Speaker 1: times and he stopped calling me all. I'm attracted to
- 19:17Speaker 1: our younger men between the ages of fifty and sixty,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and getting one is not a problem. I don't want
- 19:23Speaker 1: to be just a fleeing for these men. How can
- 19:25Speaker 1: I prevent that from happening? That's a younger man. Why
- 19:30Speaker 1: don't you stop being a flame? You will fleeing because
- 19:35Speaker 1: you allow it. You allow yourself to get flawed. Your
- 19:39Speaker 1: your body, or your relations or whatever you want to
- 19:42Speaker 1: call him at seventy one comes with a price. What
- 19:46Speaker 1: is this? You have every right you're too old for this.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You're talking about how you you've been screwing a dude
- 19:52Speaker 1: for two years and then he stopped calling you. What
- 19:55Speaker 1: you think was gonna happen? Y'all? Wasn't in a relationship?
- 20:00Speaker 1: Wouldn't nobody defined anything. I don't care how old you get.
- 20:03Speaker 1: If you can't define the relationship you in, you probably
- 20:06Speaker 1: ain't in one m she said me, though she ain't
- 20:10Speaker 1: got about fifteen years left, you gotta least have some fun.
- 20:13Speaker 1: That was profound. Say that again, because now what the
- 20:21Speaker 1: cello said before we run out of tide, come on,
- 20:29Speaker 1: come on feel us. All I said was, if you
- 20:31Speaker 1: can't define the relationship, it's probably because you ain't in one.
- 20:35Speaker 1: There you go, all right, coming up, And what I
- 20:37Speaker 1: said is, if you said me, you ain't got a

- 22:12Speaker 1: When when? When can we expect another payment? That's what
- 22:14Speaker 1: I'm asking you. First of all, don't you ever call

- 23:17Speaker 1: came in as well. That's what I've been doing ever
- 23:19Speaker 1: since she got here. I've been looking out for her

- 26:07Speaker 1: need to get out your and look in between your
- 26:10Speaker 1: cheeks and go find you something, find you a manhood.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Sitting up there probably on the couch eating up all
- 26:16Speaker 1: up pop tarts and I've only had two of them
- 26:18Speaker 1: pop toards man, that's all. You ain't sposed to be

- 26:24Speaker 1: and I appreciate you eating none of that over that.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You need to get off and feed yourself like I do.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I feed myself and my daughter and probably still let
- 26:33Speaker 1: me tray this here. Man, I just want to talk

- 27:24Speaker 1: but you're gonna make me mad. No, like I hadn't
- 27:26Speaker 1: told you. Now you don't talk no more. I talk
- 27:28Speaker 1: to whenever. I won't. We got a child together. You're
- 27:31Speaker 1: just gotten the picture. Don't you call no amos. You
- 27:34Speaker 1: don't talking, Camper, you talk to me? From now? You
- 27:36Speaker 1: talk to Preston. I'm gonna talking. I'm gonna had it.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Help with trust me? Hey, man, let me tell you something.
- 27:42Speaker 1: You don't call man, you deal with me? Do you
- 27:45Speaker 1: understand what I'm telling I'm not dealing with you with him?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Say you hear me? The only thing I'm gonna deal
- 27:50Speaker 1: with you is my foot up, Yo, that's a man
- 27:52Speaker 1: to deal with many. I got one more thing I
- 27:54Speaker 1: need to say to you, man, I don't want to
- 27:56Speaker 1: hear nothing else. You got the same player. I didn't
- 27:58Speaker 1: heard everything you had to say. Let me tell you something, man,
- 28:01Speaker 1: you want a job? Were hiring right now. I'll put
- 28:04Speaker 1: you in with the man in charge. I'll get you
- 28:06Speaker 1: a job. Don't nobody want to work with you? Man,
- 28:08Speaker 1: I don't like your attitude. You need to work with
- 28:10Speaker 1: somebody because you ain't working with nobody right now. I
- 28:12Speaker 1: got one more thing I need to say to you.
- 28:15Speaker 1: It's you listening, man, Say what the hell you got
- 28:17Speaker 1: to say? Man? That's his nephew Timmy from the Steve
- 28:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning don't give him? Say, man, I don't care
- 28:23Speaker 1: who you are. I don't play a boy my daughter. Man.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Do this, nephew tim Me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:30Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your cousin Kendrick. Man. Oh man,
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna kill you all right? Oh no, man, because
- 28:42Speaker 1: I don't play with by my daughter like that. Man,
- 28:44Speaker 1: I don't. That's my worm, Man, that's my heart. Man,
- 28:48Speaker 1: I don't that. Man a right. Let me let me
- 28:51Speaker 1: ask you this here, man, what is the baddest I'm
- 28:53Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land, man,
- 28:57Speaker 1: the Stieves Harvey morn and Show. All right, thank you,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Crazy entertainment news in our National News Update with mss
- 29:09Speaker 1: Anne Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 29:12Speaker 1: Morning Show, all right, sir, guys. Rapper lil uzi Vert
- 29:18Speaker 1: went viral recently after he posted a picture on Instagram
- 29:23Speaker 1: of a twenty four million dollar pink diamond that's implanted
- 29:28Speaker 1: into his forehead. You guys have all seen the pictures.
- 29:30Speaker 1: It's a full diamonds, yeah, twenty four million. It's a
- 29:34Speaker 1: huge diamond. It juts out of his forehead, and of
- 29:37Speaker 1: course it's going to be the topic of conversation, but
- 29:40Speaker 1: he hasn't spoken about it until recently. On his IGTV video,
- 29:45Speaker 1: he explained how he spent the past few years paying
- 29:48Speaker 1: off the diamond, so we put it on layaway. I
- 29:50Speaker 1: guess you could say paying off the diamond. And now
- 29:52Speaker 1: he came to the and how he came to the
- 29:54Speaker 1: decision to put it into his forehead. He said, Now
- 29:58Speaker 1: these are his words. I'm a b real so I'm
- 30:01Speaker 1: picking out a diamond and we were going to put
- 30:03Speaker 1: it in a ring. But I'm gonna be honest, I'm
- 30:06Speaker 1: a little oozy, I'm turned up. So twenty four million
- 30:11Speaker 1: on a ring is the stupidest idea because I'm gonna
- 30:14Speaker 1: look down in that ring ain't gonna be there. I
- 30:16Speaker 1: know me. I wake up in odd places and different sceneries.
- 30:22Speaker 1: What so since he don't, now it's stupid right here? Man, No, see,
- 30:29Speaker 1: that's that's why he got that, dude, the same reason
- 30:32Speaker 1: he gave for putting it in there, exactly why he
- 30:34Speaker 1: got it. First of all, look, man, not to sound
- 30:38Speaker 1: like an old fogy, but can I tell y'all something, Pete,
- 30:43Speaker 1: If you get your hands on twenty four million dollars.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Come on, do you know what you can do for yourself?
- 30:54Speaker 1: But that ain't got nothing to do with a diamond
- 30:57Speaker 1: in your forehead. But let me know the homes you
- 31:00Speaker 1: could own. Do you know the fun you could set
- 31:04Speaker 1: up for your future? Do you do you? Do you
- 31:07Speaker 1: understand how you could travel? I can't twenty four million
- 31:15Speaker 1: for something to sit in your forehead that is of
- 31:20Speaker 1: no value sitting there. It's man, that's you saying. Do
- 31:26Speaker 1: you know? But do you know if my cousin see this, dame,
- 31:30Speaker 1: he gonna reach for it? Do you know that? Dog?
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you. Do you know if
- 31:37Speaker 1: my cousins see this, damn damn he reaching for that one?
- 31:40Speaker 1: I know you're talking about. Yeah, see us ass he
- 31:43Speaker 1: getting got I'm telling you right, no, no, but I'm
- 31:48Speaker 1: telling you it ain't no where you're going through certain
- 31:51Speaker 1: hoods and now you're they know you got twenty four
- 31:53Speaker 1: million stone. But because you gotta understand he's twenty six
- 31:58Speaker 1: years old. With that, that's fine, But when my cousin
- 32:02Speaker 1: see you, my cousin pulled out the needle. No applies,
- 32:05Speaker 1: That's it, he said. I hear, I hear what you're saying. Surely,
- 32:09Speaker 1: he said, he put it in layaway, which means you
- 32:12Speaker 1: don't have twenty four available, right, people with available money.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I know rich people, and you ain't got to do that.
- 32:20Speaker 1: But I'm saying, but the thing is that twenty six
- 32:23Speaker 1: he's not even thinking on that level, obviously, But surely
- 32:28Speaker 1: this is when you should have gorilla glued the diamond
- 32:31Speaker 1: in there. Now, that's what you should have did. If
- 32:34Speaker 1: you want to make sure it don't come out of there,
- 32:37Speaker 1: you should have rella glued that damn diamond in there. Now,
- 32:40Speaker 1: you straight, you can go, you can get you put
- 32:43Speaker 1: the rella glue on your half or the back of
- 32:47Speaker 1: a twenty four million dollar ring. Both y'all just as stupid.
- 32:52Speaker 1: They should be together, the two of them. This man,
- 32:58Speaker 1: this dude is just like, Yeah, I don't even know.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I wish I could talk to Yeah. The jeweler said
- 33:06Speaker 1: that Oz is a trend setter and he won't be
- 33:08Speaker 1: surprised if it becomes a trend. Uh. We don't think so, Sara.
- 33:17Speaker 1: All right, so let's move on because it is time
- 33:19Speaker 1: for miss Anne. Come on, Steve, ladies and gentlemen, miss
- 33:22Speaker 1: Anne true, thank you guys, this is Anne trip. Well,
- 33:25Speaker 1: the big story, of course is the weather. Let's get
- 33:27Speaker 1: that out of the way. Authorities say that some two
- 33:29Speaker 1: million people are without power today in Texas alone. Some
- 33:33Speaker 1: twenty people have died due to the storm. Four people
- 33:36Speaker 1: killed by tornadoes in North Carolina. They're also tornadoes yesterday
- 33:40Speaker 1: in parts of Georgia and Florida. It also snows in
- 33:43Speaker 1: Chicago the last eight days straight. Now the war begins.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump is lashing out at GOP Senate leader Mitch McConnell.
- 33:51Speaker 1: He's the Senate leader, but he's not the Senate majority
- 33:53Speaker 1: leader anymore. McConnell, of course voted to a quit Trump
- 33:56Speaker 1: on Senate impeachment charges, but he made this statement soon after.
- 34:00Speaker 1: There's no question don their President Trump is practically and
- 34:04Speaker 1: marley responsible for provoking the events of the day, no
- 34:10Speaker 1: question about it. Well. Trump released a six hundred words
- 34:13Speaker 1: statement yesterday calling the Kentucky Republican ad quote a dour,
- 34:16Speaker 1: sullen and unsmiling political hack, and he add that the
- 34:19Speaker 1: Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with
- 34:23Speaker 1: leaders like Senator McConnell at the helm. A former Trump
- 34:26Speaker 1: White House official tells Router's News service that Trump and
- 34:28Speaker 1: McConnell stopped being best buds when McConnell openly declared that
- 34:32Speaker 1: Joe Biden had won the presidential election in mid December,
- 34:34Speaker 1: despite Trump's insisting that he won. And now in just
- 34:38Speaker 1: one term, the Republican Party has lost the White House
- 34:40Speaker 1: in both houses of the Congress. Meanwhile, the US Center
- 34:43Speaker 1: plans the whole let's first hearing is looking into the
- 34:45Speaker 1: January sixth insurrection at US Capital. They're making a date
- 34:48Speaker 1: for that. The Biden administration is pushing to make the
- 34:51Speaker 1: federal minimum wage fifteen dollars, up from about seven. Federal
- 34:55Speaker 1: prosecutors say that a white North Carolina man threatened President
- 34:58Speaker 1: Biden in a series of her being phone calls. Twenty
- 35:01Speaker 1: seven year old David Kyle Reeves has been charged with
- 35:03Speaker 1: threatening a president. No word of Freeze belongs to any
- 35:06Speaker 1: white racist group, but if convicted of threatening a president,
- 35:10Speaker 1: Reeves faces up to five years in prison at a
- 35:12Speaker 1: quarter of a million dollar fine. By the way, he says,
- 35:14Speaker 1: he was just expressing his free right to say whatever,
- 35:17Speaker 1: and he won it. You know whatever, You may want
- 35:19Speaker 1: to put down the Quaker oats for this one. After
- 35:21Speaker 1: cops in Philadelphia say they arrested a guy finding deep
- 35:24Speaker 1: fried body parts in a U haul track and a dumpster.
- 35:27Speaker 1: The Philadelphia in Choir says forty seven year old Terrey
- 35:30Speaker 1: Herring another person pulled over by cops investing a robbery.
- 35:33Speaker 1: After searching a truck and then a dumpster, they say
- 35:35Speaker 1: they found a dismembered body in a trash bag, along
- 35:38Speaker 1: with a person's hands and feet that have been deep fried. Finally,
- 35:42Speaker 1: a signed at times and rather disgusting. The Los Angeles
- 35:45Speaker 1: Police Departments launched an internal investigation after an officer reported
- 35:48Speaker 1: a photo of George Floyd used to make a sick
- 35:51Speaker 1: and racist Valentine's Day card last week, with the caption
- 35:54Speaker 1: you take My breath Away, apparently being circulated among cops.
- 35:58Speaker 1: The chief there is embarrassed, he says, and disgusted. Now
- 36:01Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve
- 36:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it's women Crushed Wednesday
- 36:08Speaker 1: and ash Wednesday as well. Uh, and sister odell is
- 36:13Speaker 1: in the building, came in right up to women's Crushed Wednesdays. Yes, ma'am,
- 36:26Speaker 1: that's what it is. Good mornings everyone, Good morning, Hodel.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Hello Thomas, Yes, ma'am, good morning. Oh, my mother's fine.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I haven't talked to in a couple of weeks. Okay, yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 1: well she's doing well. I'm you know, I'm still taking
- 36:45Speaker 1: care of that's my call as soon as we get off. Well,
- 36:48Speaker 1: he does do a good job of taking care of huh.
- 36:50Speaker 1: She brags on you all the time for what I
- 36:53Speaker 1: don't know, but you know Alicia takes care of it though. Yes, ma'am,
- 36:59Speaker 1: good old boy us a good boy. That's good. Comana Shelly. Well,
- 37:04Speaker 1: good morning, sister Odell. All. How were you wonderful? Wonderful?
- 37:09Speaker 1: What's going on? Well? I mean, first of all, before
- 37:12Speaker 1: we get to anything, I did want to ask you,
- 37:14Speaker 1: how is your Valentine's Day? Girl? Just candy? I ticked
- 37:21Speaker 1: candy and flowers from everyone's Oh really? Are are you
- 37:25Speaker 1: dating anyone in particular, Sister Odell? These days? Of course?
- 37:29Speaker 1: You know I keep the man you know who, your dad,
- 37:34Speaker 1: Al Shopkin's dad Al shops Daddy, big al big, oh
- 37:44Speaker 1: big al. Okay, So he's the one that gave you
- 37:47Speaker 1: the candy and the flowers. Yes, yes, yes, gage me
- 37:52Speaker 1: candy and roses got him from that company you did
- 37:57Speaker 1: on the commercial front, one hundred flowers. They were pretty,
- 38:01Speaker 1: and he added an extra ten dollars, got twenty nine.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Oh and they were lovely. Right, I didn't call him.
- 38:08Speaker 1: They made a mistake and sent thirty two. But I
- 38:10Speaker 1: didn't say nothing. I figured they was making enough. They
- 38:16Speaker 1: ain't on midfo flowers, I said. I wasn't fending saying
- 38:18Speaker 1: it back that for a show. That's right, that's right. Well,
- 38:21Speaker 1: I'm glad you had a good, lovely And was it
- 38:24Speaker 1: romantic your Valentine's Day? No? Not really, just you know,
- 38:29Speaker 1: I sent the flowers and everything. You know, Uh I was.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I wasn't really in home, you know, because I got
- 38:36Speaker 1: the vaccine. You know, because I'm an essential worker. Oh
- 38:40Speaker 1: you got the shot. I didn't know you were in
- 38:43Speaker 1: I say so, Shirley, Oh well that is essential. That
- 38:47Speaker 1: ain't essential, I went on. I ain't even signed up.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I just told her I'm cential. They said, what did
- 38:53Speaker 1: you do it? I said, I say so? They said, well,
- 38:57Speaker 1: when that's not essential, taps more essentially getting to Hiven.
- 39:01Speaker 1: If I don't get this shot, you're probably gonna go
- 39:03Speaker 1: to him shook in her old game in the shout
- 39:07Speaker 1: coming back twenty one day later, same woman, she said,
- 39:09Speaker 1: I know, just come on, yeah, come on, you're essential,
- 39:12Speaker 1: You're essential. Well that's a good thing. That's a good thing. Well, well,
- 39:16Speaker 1: thank you, s still Dale. We appreciate time. Coming up
- 39:20Speaker 1: in thirty four minutes after the hour, we gotta tell
- 39:23Speaker 1: you what's going down with the LAPD. So we'll talk
- 39:26Speaker 1: about it when we come back. Right after this. You're
- 39:28Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, the Los
- 39:32Speaker 1: Angeles County District Attorney's Office is investigating several lap D
- 39:37Speaker 1: officers after they allegedly get this. Guys circulated a Valentine's
- 39:42Speaker 1: Day card with George Floyd's picture on it and the
- 39:46Speaker 1: words you take my breath away Now. This was to
- 39:51Speaker 1: mock the final hours of George Floyd's life as a
- 39:54Speaker 1: Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck and repeatedly cried
- 39:58Speaker 1: out George Floyd did, I can't breathe. I mean, what
- 40:02Speaker 1: a horrible story, what a horrible thing to do. George
- 40:05Speaker 1: Floyd's family released a statement to the LAPD saying this
- 40:09Speaker 1: is beyond insult on top of injury. It's injury on
- 40:13Speaker 1: top of death. The type of callousness and cruelty within
- 40:17Speaker 1: a person's soul needed to do something like this evades
- 40:20Speaker 1: comprehension and is indicative of a much larger problem within
- 40:25Speaker 1: the culture of the LAPD. We demand that everyone who
- 40:30Speaker 1: was involved is held accountable for their revolting behavior and
- 40:34Speaker 1: that an apology be issued to the family immediately. Amen
- 40:39Speaker 1: to that. I just you know, the people, the spirit
- 40:45Speaker 1: of some people, man, is really sickening. You know, Like
- 40:47Speaker 1: I get tired of hearing people now say this is
- 40:51Speaker 1: not our country. Our country is better than this. No,
- 40:54Speaker 1: this is the country we live in. Yeah, this is
- 40:56Speaker 1: exactly This is exactly who this country is. It's not
- 41:01Speaker 1: those people that climb the capital wall. That's who. This
- 41:04Speaker 1: a big part. That's a part of this country. It's
- 41:07Speaker 1: not everybody but that, and that is a part of
- 41:11Speaker 1: our confuteral. This sickness that pervades the internet is a
- 41:15Speaker 1: part of our culture. It's a part of our country.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I mean, you know when you see this sickness, when
- 41:22Speaker 1: people walk in churches and kill people, walk in schools
- 41:24Speaker 1: and kill people, it's it's not who we are. Okay,
- 41:28Speaker 1: then why I keep happening? Right? You know, we don't
- 41:31Speaker 1: want to admit that that is a part of what
- 41:34Speaker 1: this country is about. But that is the deal. You know,
- 41:38Speaker 1: we don't want to admit that we need real gun laws.
- 41:43Speaker 1: We don't want to admit because we have this stupid
- 41:48Speaker 1: thing called the Constitution that we think is such a
- 41:50Speaker 1: righteous document that allows for this president that got away
- 41:55Speaker 1: within citing this riot. It's because they read one word
- 42:00Speaker 1: in the constitution you can impeach a president. But then
- 42:05Speaker 1: they went to he's no longer the president. We ain't
- 42:08Speaker 1: got to do it. We constitutionally can't do it. And
- 42:10Speaker 1: they jumped through that loophole, just like they jumped through
- 42:14Speaker 1: this loophole of not all of them, just ten ten.
- 42:17Speaker 1: But but but but you know another thing, you know,
- 42:20Speaker 1: you you you, you sit up and you say, we
- 42:21Speaker 1: should have freedom of speech. But if your freedom is
- 42:24Speaker 1: speech hurts, kills, defiles another human being, why should you
- 42:30Speaker 1: have the freedom right? You know? And they they used
- 42:35Speaker 1: that in President trump defense, he's the freedom of speech.
- 42:40Speaker 1: What are you kidding me? But now Kathy Griffin, oh
- 42:50Speaker 1: says what she said about Trump and does this what
- 42:54Speaker 1: she thinks of funny how it showing his head cut off?
- 42:58Speaker 1: Now the f B I visit her and George Lopez
- 43:03Speaker 1: does a joke about it. The FBI visits him. But
- 43:08Speaker 1: now when he do his freedom of speech that causes deaths. Yep,
- 43:14Speaker 1: he off right, And even the people they arrested say
- 43:18Speaker 1: they got their orders from Trump, exactly right. This is
- 43:22Speaker 1: the country we live in. Yeah, it's a part of it.
- 43:25Speaker 1: It's not everybody, but it's an element. It's like half,
- 43:29Speaker 1: you know, it's almost like the half who voted for Biden.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Those are not those people, you know. It's just we're divided.
- 43:36Speaker 1: We're just divided. And everybody that voted for Trump is
- 43:41Speaker 1: not that way. No, they're just Republicans. But Trump took
- 43:46Speaker 1: the Republicans to a whole nother level. Yeah, he bought
- 43:51Speaker 1: out the dirt Republicans. Yeah, he he bought out the dirt,
- 43:56Speaker 1: the dirty side of the Republican Party. He really did,
- 43:59Speaker 1: He really did. Glad he's gone. H do not look
- 44:03Speaker 1: forward to him trying to run in twenty twenty four.
- 44:05Speaker 1: But they are gearing up for twenty twenty two, you know,
- 44:09Speaker 1: they are gearing up for that to try to get
- 44:11Speaker 1: more Republicans in the House and send it in the house.
- 44:16Speaker 1: All right, Coming up next, the prank phone call. The
- 44:19Speaker 1: nephew is here with the prank phone call. Right after
- 44:22Speaker 1: this you're you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 44:28Speaker 1: coming up right about four minutes after the hour. As always,
- 44:32Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today. The subject is I
- 44:36Speaker 1: don't think we're really cousins. M we'll get into it.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Don't worry, we'll get into all right, we'll get right now.
- 44:48Speaker 1: The nephew is here with today today's prank phone call.
- 44:51Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now? I got repo man, Shirley,
- 44:55Speaker 1: I got repo man. Everybody's had a repossession at some
- 44:58Speaker 1: point or another in your life. You have at something
- 45:00Speaker 1: you walked outside of your driveway and it was gone.
- 45:02Speaker 1: You know, it's happened, it's already got did like what
- 45:08Speaker 1: I know? Good down gone? Well? I fucking righty, repo man.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Let's go cat though. Hello, I'm trying to reach age.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Please this hell SORR. Yeah, my name is uh Robert.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I'm with the collection agency. You do on a Sierra
- 45:25Speaker 1: two thousand and three GMC truck. Am I correct? Yep? Okay.
- 45:28Speaker 1: We don't show that we've had any payments within the
- 45:31Speaker 1: last I guess about three close to four months now,
- 45:34Speaker 1: and we want to try and stop having to come
- 45:37Speaker 1: in and repossess it. Maybe we give you a chance
- 45:38Speaker 1: to bring your payment in. But we haven't had a
- 45:41Speaker 1: payment from you in about four months, siRNA financial with
- 45:46Speaker 1: the other another thing. I don't, I don't. I don't
- 45:49Speaker 1: know what's in the moment. Yeah, I'm playing all time.
- 45:51Speaker 1: It's directed product from our call. We're about that. Well,
- 45:54Speaker 1: I'm with they've they've turned you over to us. I'm
- 45:57Speaker 1: with collection agency, and we haven't gotten anything from me, don't.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I don't show any uh any paperwork here on the
- 46:04Speaker 1: computer at all that we've had any payments made within
- 46:07Speaker 1: the last four months. So that's why they've been paying
- 46:09Speaker 1: it already turned it over to y'all without my permission.
- 46:12Speaker 1: They can't never tell tis my truck over to y'all
- 46:15Speaker 1: to pack y'all. I don't even know it. Well, I
- 46:17Speaker 1: understand that. Sure. What happens is if you haven't paid
- 46:19Speaker 1: it in a certain amount of time, it actually comes
- 46:20Speaker 1: over to the collection agency. And that's what they've done.
- 46:23Speaker 1: They've actually sent it over to us. Uh. They've given
- 46:25Speaker 1: us uh pretty much all the information on you. I
- 46:28Speaker 1: guess it's a gold this type of color uh. CR
- 46:31Speaker 1: two thousand and three GMC truck from my understanding, Am
- 46:33Speaker 1: I correct? Yeah, that's truck. Okay. Now, what I'm gonna
- 46:37Speaker 1: need from you today, Jeremy, is for you to come
- 46:39Speaker 1: in uh and make a payment to us this evening
- 46:42Speaker 1: for four months so we can see, so we don't
- 46:45Speaker 1: have to come in and repossess your truck. And I
- 46:46Speaker 1: don't want to have to do that. But if I
- 46:48Speaker 1: have to send a record out there to you, I
- 46:50Speaker 1: have your address on file as well. I don't want
- 46:52Speaker 1: to have to send anybody out to pick it up.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Paris learning y'all not coming here my truck. And I'm
- 46:57Speaker 1: not paying y'all for for new full months. I'm paying
- 47:00Speaker 1: my truck, not all time, every month. That's a done deal, sir.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I don't want to get in a back and forth
- 47:05Speaker 1: with you, but I'm telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I come out there and repossess it myself. But I'm
- 47:10Speaker 1: telling you what the tight look slow, look, that's not
- 47:13Speaker 1: that's not even where we gotta go with that. Don't
- 47:15Speaker 1: be you don't need to be screaming and fussing it
- 47:17Speaker 1: and chaotic and come get it yourself and all that
- 47:19Speaker 1: stuffy much truck, much truck, that's gonna be that? What?
- 47:24Speaker 1: Hang on, let's back up, because I'm a man just
- 47:26Speaker 1: like here, man, what do you mean it's gonna that's
- 47:27Speaker 1: gonna be that? What are you saying? What are you?
- 47:29Speaker 1: What are you? What are you saying to me? Son?
- 47:31Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Look, look, I'm telling you that I'm
- 47:35Speaker 1: paying my truck note and and that's a fun I
- 47:37Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know what. Let's get I've already
- 47:40Speaker 1: stated to you before I'm with an agency. And let's
- 47:43Speaker 1: get one thing straight. You don't tell me I tell
- 47:45Speaker 1: you now. Hey, hey, dude, calm down on the phone.
- 47:49Speaker 1: It don't make no sense to it, you know, over
- 47:52Speaker 1: the father whatnot. You can come, you can come get
- 47:54Speaker 1: the truck, my truck right here. I work. I'm right here.
- 47:56Speaker 1: You can come. You can come try to get my truck.
- 47:59Speaker 1: You come on there. Sure, I'm already aware of where
- 48:01Speaker 1: you work in the whole nine yards. Now I don't
- 48:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as uh cordial with you as
- 48:07Speaker 1: I can. Now you can you're telling about conna get
- 48:09Speaker 1: my truckle and I'll tell you I'll be say much
- 48:11Speaker 1: so you know you should have dropped it and being like,
- 48:13Speaker 1: all right, I'm gonna check with somebody. I don't check
- 48:16Speaker 1: with somebody else to make sure I'm right. It didn't
- 48:18Speaker 1: call me back. I'm telling you you haven't paid anything.
- 48:21Speaker 1: That's what I'm telling you. I've got it listed on
- 48:23Speaker 1: the computer. You've been turned over an agency and you
- 48:26Speaker 1: haven't done it. You haven't done a thing. What are you? Stupid? You?
- 48:31Speaker 1: You you're waiting your press scream in the hall over
- 48:33Speaker 1: the phone like that today, I'm gonna do me. Are
- 48:35Speaker 1: you no good? You ain't get no money from me?
- 48:37Speaker 1: Then you ain't coming from my truck? What a matter
- 48:39Speaker 1: of fact, you could come from my truck. I'm gonna
- 48:42Speaker 1: be on my truck. I'm gonna wait on you. What
- 48:44Speaker 1: It doesn't make any difference, sir. You gotta get repossessed tonight.
- 48:47Speaker 1: If I don't get four months payment brook, Definitely, If

- 50:35Speaker 1: you gotta, but you gotta pretty good. I gotta ask.
- 50:38Speaker 1: I gotta ask you. Man, Tell me, brother, what is
- 50:41Speaker 1: the baddest. I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 50:44Speaker 1: the lane. Steve, I get it, Yeah you did. He
- 50:53Speaker 1: sounded a little bit like Junior to me when he
- 50:58Speaker 1: got Really I think if I remember, I think he
- 51:00Speaker 1: knew Orleans. I think he Louisiana. Yeah, that was crazy.
- 51:05Speaker 1: What you think, Steve? Well, I do understand where you're
- 51:09Speaker 1: coming from, especially when I lived at it. Not only
- 51:17Speaker 1: was it your transportation with your home, and they was
- 51:20Speaker 1: looking for it too, So you had to park. I
- 51:23Speaker 1: mean you've been You've been reposed before. Me just wants now,
- 51:29Speaker 1: how men till you didn't dig? How long have you dodged?
- 51:32Speaker 1: Just but let me ask that quarter two years or
- 51:35Speaker 1: you were skillful two years? So you had to park
- 51:40Speaker 1: somewhere different all the time. Then I catch your bus home.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I had a bike rack put on the back of
- 51:45Speaker 1: it so I could park it somewhere and ride the
- 51:48Speaker 1: bike home. Didn't ride the bike back to it, hold
- 51:52Speaker 1: a work park it somewhere else. You do better, paint.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I ain't what you were in shape. I was outstanding.
- 52:05Speaker 1: And back then Shirley black people they had no bike
- 52:09Speaker 1: rack on the back of their car. You were very creative,
- 52:15Speaker 1: Steve got part of a friend's house. Huh, wake up,
- 52:19Speaker 1: couldn't remember where the hell my car? You're gonna come
- 52:23Speaker 1: get your college driveway so I can go to work. Oh,
- 52:26Speaker 1: I don't went to the wrong house. Oh wow, Steve, Wow,
- 52:32Speaker 1: what was all in there? What did you have in you?
- 52:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna closing. I mean, you know, just a little
- 52:38Speaker 1: stiff huh. I was. I was just financially wasn't fit there.
- 52:42Speaker 1: But when I lived in it, I just drove out
- 52:45Speaker 1: of state. Good luck. And you know this was before
- 52:50Speaker 1: you had all you had to have with license plate.
- 52:53Speaker 1: They hadn't come up with the sticking system yet. Oh yeah, okay,
- 53:00Speaker 1: wow was your plates? So was your plates really your plates?
- 53:06Speaker 1: Or was the place? What does that mean exactly? I know?
- 53:13Speaker 1: But well I had like three Ohio tags in my car.
- 53:20Speaker 1: So even if they did find the car, you have
- 53:23Speaker 1: three different lives of plates in the coast, like uh huh.
- 53:27Speaker 1: And I think they saw me. Uh huh. I go
- 53:30Speaker 1: a little bit and change your tags. Okay, let's get

- 54:15Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject,
- 54:19Speaker 1: I don't think we're really cousins. Dear Stephen Shirley. In
- 54:23Speaker 1: high school, I liked a girl and she liked me.
- 54:26Speaker 1: We talked on the phone and hung out together all
- 54:28Speaker 1: the time, and her mom and my mom were close too,
- 54:32Speaker 1: so she always was at my house or I was
- 54:35Speaker 1: at hers. By the time we graduated from high school,
- 54:38Speaker 1: we were even closer, and I told her that I
- 54:41Speaker 1: wanted her to be more than my friend. She's always
- 54:44Speaker 1: been really close to her mom and tells her everything,
- 54:47Speaker 1: so she told her mom that she and I were dating.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Her mom told her that I was her cousin. When
- 54:53Speaker 1: she told me we were related, I felt strange because
- 54:57Speaker 1: we had kissed a few times. We never questioned it.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Though we stopped dating and remained very close cousins, we
- 55:04Speaker 1: still did everything together and told each other everything, and
- 55:07Speaker 1: by the time we were in our mid twenties, we
- 55:10Speaker 1: both had a bunch of bad relationships and always ended
- 55:13Speaker 1: up back together. I realized that I loved my quote
- 55:17Speaker 1: unquote cousin and she's a perfect woman for me. So
- 55:20Speaker 1: I finally asked my mom if we were really related.
- 55:24Speaker 1: My mom said, we're related somewhere down the line, but
- 55:27Speaker 1: there is no way for us to find out now
- 55:29Speaker 1: because all of the older relatives are deceased. I told
- 55:33Speaker 1: my mom that I'm in love with her and I
- 55:35Speaker 1: want to be with her. My mom told me to
- 55:37Speaker 1: follow my heart. I couldn't wait to tell my cousin
- 55:40Speaker 1: how I really felt, and I was relieved when she
- 55:42Speaker 1: told me she's been in love with me forever. Since then,
- 55:46Speaker 1: we've made love a few times, and I asked her
- 55:48Speaker 1: to marry me. She wants to do a search of
- 55:51Speaker 1: our family tree first. I don't think we're cousins, and
- 55:54Speaker 1: this is only postponing our happiness. Should we search for
- 55:57Speaker 1: answers or not? Well, I'm with you on this one.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I just don't believe your guys or cousins.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I don't believe. I think maybe you know, her mom
- 56:08Speaker 1: told her that because she didn't want you guys dating
- 56:10Speaker 1: for whatever reason. And you know, I don't want you guys,
- 56:14Speaker 1: not because I don't want it to be true or anything.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I just don't believe your mom. Both of them are
- 56:20Speaker 1: telling the truth. Even your mom said you were related
- 56:23Speaker 1: somewhere down the line, she didn't even know, and she
- 56:26Speaker 1: said there's no one in your family to validate it.
- 56:29Speaker 1: But I mean, there are ways you can search to
- 56:31Speaker 1: find out. It's just I don't know, suspicious the way
- 56:35Speaker 1: they handled everything and the way they told you. And
- 56:38Speaker 1: for that very reason, Yes, I think you should find
- 56:42Speaker 1: out if you're related. I think you should do the search.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I mean, knowledge is power. The truth will set you're free.
- 56:48Speaker 1: What if you want to have children down the line,
- 56:51Speaker 1: you know, this is something you should know, whether or
- 56:53Speaker 1: not you're related. There's a lot to consider. You need
- 56:57Speaker 1: the fact so you can make an informed, a clearheaded,
- 57:00Speaker 1: right decision, and nothing just based on your emotions, like
- 57:03Speaker 1: your mom told you just to follow your heart. It
- 57:06Speaker 1: sounds like you don't care though if your cousins are
- 57:08Speaker 1: not and your mom certainly doesn't care. But your girl
- 57:13Speaker 1: wants to know and it's important to her. So I
- 57:16Speaker 1: think you should do the search, and you know, whatever
- 57:19Speaker 1: you guys find out, let the chips fall you know
- 57:22Speaker 1: where they may. I don't think you're really cousins. I
- 57:25Speaker 1: don't know, and if you find out that you're not,
- 57:28Speaker 1: then you can move forward. Steve, Well, this is a
- 57:32Speaker 1: short response for me because I don't even understand. There's
- 57:36Speaker 1: no advice to give in this letter, Like you don't
- 57:39Speaker 1: know him. I have sections while I break down what
- 57:42Speaker 1: somebody said and what the other person said. It's none
- 57:44Speaker 1: of that in here. And he just wants to know
- 57:46Speaker 1: should they search. That's his question. Anyway, It ain't about
- 57:51Speaker 1: that to me. If your mother, if the woman that
- 57:57Speaker 1: she's really close to, and y'all up in over each
- 58:00Speaker 1: other's house, if that ain't your mother's sister, and and
- 58:05Speaker 1: that woman that's not for the sister, this girl that
- 58:09Speaker 1: you're dating, and okay, let me let me put you
- 58:12Speaker 1: the woman and your mama are not sisters, and then
- 58:18Speaker 1: her daughter is the woman you love that ain't your cousin.
- 58:24Speaker 1: So now that's established right down. Now this, y'all cousin
- 58:31Speaker 1: somewhere down the line. Black people know who it's happening, lamb.
- 58:36Speaker 1: If all of them is dead, black people know who
- 58:41Speaker 1: it's happening. Now. What didn't happened is one of them
- 58:45Speaker 1: men in the family and straight off somewhere had a
- 58:51Speaker 1: child out of wedlock, and one of your aunts or
- 58:55Speaker 1: mama's is them? Now there everybody dead stuff. Y'all got bibles,
- 59:01Speaker 1: opened up my old bibles and read who who? You
- 59:04Speaker 1: ain't gonna see your name? And now now once you
- 59:09Speaker 1: don't see your name, just an open and shut case.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I don't know all the old people dead, well, hot man,
- 59:17Speaker 1: So what are we talking about here? So I don't
- 59:19Speaker 1: really think it's a case of if you do the search,
- 59:23Speaker 1: what you're gonna find, you're not gonna find anything. And
- 59:28Speaker 1: y'all you in love with the girl, she in love
- 59:31Speaker 1: with the girl? I mean she in love with you.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I mean what, y'all, what if they want kids? They're
- 59:38Speaker 1: too far down the line for that to affect anything
- 59:40Speaker 1: you're saying. I think they're way way down. Let me
- 59:48Speaker 1: tell you something it was something dangerous. The boy's mother
- 59:51Speaker 1: would not have said follow your heart, but the other
- 59:55Speaker 1: mothers was the one that said their cousins. I think
- 59:58Speaker 1: she said it because she didn't want them to day.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: She just said that, Well, okay, tell her mom asked her,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: ask her mama how. But she can't didn't even tell
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: how these She can't even tell how these other two
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: is related. The two women want their relationship. They're just
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: they're they're just really close, you know. Only Okay, well
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: that ain't your cousins. Yeah, but they did it, you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: do know they did it right? They said it in
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: the letter, Yes, in the letter. We'll have part two
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: of Steve coming up at twenty three minutes after be
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: our subject I don't think we're really cousins. We'll get
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's interesting Strawberry Letters. Subject.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I don't think we're really cousins. This guy was in
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: high school. He liked a girl and they she liked him,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: talked on the phone, hung out together all the time.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Her mom and my mom were close to so she
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: was always at my house. Never once in this letter,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: does it say her mom and his mom was related.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: By the time they graduated high school, we were even closer.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I told her want to be more than friends. She's
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: always been really close to her mom and tells everything.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: So she told her mom she and I were dating.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Her mom told her I was her cousin, but your
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: mama ain't related. This to the boy's mama, they're just climbing,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: So now where that come from. When she told me
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: we were related, I felt strange because I had kissed
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: a few times. We never questioned it though. We stopped
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: dating and remained close everything together. Then they went through
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a bunch of bad relationships and always he ended up
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: back together. And then he said, I realized I loved
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: my cousin and she's perfect woman for me. So this
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: dude go and ask his mom if they really related.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: The mother said, y'all related somewhere down the line, but
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: there ain't no way to find out because all the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: older relatives are dead. Well, okay, what was we talking about?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: This folk? I told my mom that I'm in love
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: with her and I want to be with him. My
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: mom told me to follow my heart. So then he
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: ran and told a girl who as he thinks his
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: cousin how it really felt. And he was relieved when
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: she told me she'd been in love with me forever.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Well then since then they'd have made love a few times,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: and I asked her to marry me. Yeah, she wants
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to do a search of our family tree first because
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: she don't want to come up and getting bad. You know,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: then I half of these people you think it's dead
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: gonna show up at the wedding. Well, ain't this strange?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: You know, I'm esther's us least inside. They all have
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: old slave names and everything. First, all of you Frederick,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you know Frederick was your aunt great great great great uncle,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Frederick Frederick Douglas. Boy, you got an afro just like him.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: You don't be a good So she wants to do
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: a search and to think. And he said, I don't
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: think we're cousins and this is only postponed in our happiness.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Should we search for answers or not? Okay, let me
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: explain something to your son. When you get through searching,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: it ain't gonna change one thing you feel about this girl.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Come on board. When you get through searching, it ain't
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: gonna race the fact that y'all in love with each
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: other and y'all been together. It ain't gonna be racing
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: up no matter what the search say. And if you
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: find out you somewhere way down the line, how far
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: down the line is it? Now? How many people got
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: to die? Sell? All your evidence is dead? Down the
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: line is dead. But your mother and her mother ain't
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: even related? So what are y'all talking about? See? I
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: think her mother didn't want them to date, because immediately
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: when she told him that, they stopped dating. If there's
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: no relation between the two friends, well that could be
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: happening because maybe they're just friends and the two kids
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: is in other families. Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's a possibility.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: You know. That's why I don't think their cousins. I
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: don't think it will hurt anything to do the search
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: because well see the problem with that is we're talking
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: about two mothers. Though. See, once you have mothers involved
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: and ain't know you ain't in the family. What you mean?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: This woman is the mother of the boy, your heart
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: is the mother of the girl. Right, So how are
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: these two kids related? How am I missing something? It
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: could be through? Could it be through marriage? I don't know.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Two women were married to the same brothers or some friends.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That could happen. Yeah, I don't think they're I just
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: don't think they're related. That tests you take due. We
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: had a test one day. What the name that ancestry doctor.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: That's it right there. I just did one. I just
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: did a test. I just did it. I had people
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: do mind from me. So that's what I'm saying. You
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: don't have to have living relatives, you know. So his
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: mom said, everybody's dead to prove whether they're not there.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I can find stuff on my mother's side, but he
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: goes back to my father and it stops. So if
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: down the line ain't here, you can steal a fan out.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: We're going, Yeah, he loved her, though, what's what's gonna Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: she loves him. She wants she's the one that wants
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to know. I mean, you do have to consider. Yeah,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: you have small to the children and everything. You know,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: are you out, steve, You're done well, I'm told yeah,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: because you got awfully quiet right there is hard to
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: raise anyway. Ain't that the truth? You said? Yeah, you're
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: gonna have a situation with him. It ain't nothing wrong
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: with him? Yes, all right, listen, guys, you can leave
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: your comments on Today's Letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: and check out the starby Letter podcast on demand now
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: coming up in ten minutes. We'll have some headlines and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: some trending topics and we'll do that right after this.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: You're listening to show. All right, guys, we've all heard
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: by now that on Saturday, the US Senate voted to
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: a quit Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial. This
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: came one month and a week after the deadly insurrection
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: at the US Capitol on January sixth. Now, Donald Trump
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: and attorney Rudy Giuliani are being accused of conspiring in
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: the far with the far right groups Proud Boys and
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Oathkeepers to incite the insurrection. A civil lawsuit now was
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: filed on yesterday. Ruddy and Trump, they steal freenes even
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: though Trump hasn't paid him. Right, I'm just asking you
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: won't pay me. We ain't rid of free at all.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: We're no longer friends, um anyway I was saying. A
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: civil lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in federal court by
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Democratic Representative Benny Thompson. Okay. Thompson points to Trump's words
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: and tweets in the days before the insurrection, accusing Trump
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: of mobilizing supporters to attack Congress in an attempt to
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: prevent Congress from certifying the twenty twenty election results. Trump
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: will be subject to discovery and depositions, which may potentially
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: expose details and evidence that weren't released during his Senate
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: impeachment trial. So they're still trying to make someone pay for,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you know, all the damage and the deaths and everything
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: that happened on January sixth in the Capitol, which is
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: a good thing. You know, A lot of people said
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: they may have more luck, let's say, in the courts
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: than they would in the Senate. I mean, that's the
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: only way to make this work. Yeah, A civil is
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: just like you know, you've got it. It's a different
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: it's a different set of law. When you file something civil,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: you can be held accountable for other other levels of
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: accountability when it's civil. Example, the O. J. Simpson case,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: he got off with the murder charge, but he lost
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: in the civil court, right because it's a different level
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: of burden of proof and you can go at it
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: from different things. He has to be held accountable for
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: what happened on that day, and you would think, and
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: as we talked about off the air, that since there
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: were so many congressman senators lives at risk, he has
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: to be accountable. But guess what them same senators whose
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: life was at risk voted to acquittal. I know that's
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: that's the weird part to me. But they're still holding
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: on to that base. And that's all about. That's the
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: cowardice of the publican leadership. Yeah, they're more afraid of
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Donald Trump than anything, and they think these votes are
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: going to convert. They don't. I don't think that. I
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: think they misplayed this myself. Yeah, I do too. Well, Okay,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: we're moving on. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: we have some sports news for you right after this.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: we mentioned at the top of the hour Junior is
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: out today. The nephews in for Junior this time. That
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: sounds now, I say, you know what. We got some
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: sad news today. We have a thirty eight year old
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: former NFL wide receiver, Benson Jackson, was found dead Monday
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: in Brandon, Florida, hotel room. According to the Hillsborough County, Florida,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Shelf's office, Vincent Jackson last played in the NFL in
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: twenty sixteen with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Police said there
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: were no apparent signs with trauma and there is an
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: open investigation to the cause of his death. Buccaneer's owner
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: and co chairman Brian Glazer said in a statement that
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Jackson was a consummate professional and his greatest achievements as
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: a buccaneer were the four consecutive nominations he earned as
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Walter Peyton Man of the Year. So our hearts go
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: out to this young man right here. All right, we
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: don't want to mister Benson Jackson now, uh oh, watch
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: me flip the script and other sports news. X NFL
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: star pac Man Jones was arrested early Monday morning in
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Cincinnati after getting into a huge fight in a bar.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: TMZ Sports released at the video of the wild bar
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: fight that led to the arrest of thirty seven year
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: old pac Man Jones. The video shows several people throwing
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: bar stools while by standard screen for everyone to stop.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this is bad. It wasn't clear pac Man
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: was throwing bar stools or not, but he was visible
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: in the video as the fight calms down. One witness
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: stated that pac Man's entourage left there around one am,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: and when they tried to return, all right, security wouldn't
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: let them back in, so pact Man aggressively pushed his
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: way in and then knocked the security guy out. You
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: also allegedly kicked the security guard in the head multiple
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: times before staff. Before the staff stepped in and broke
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: it all up. Pac Man was booked on one count
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: of misdemeanor assault. That's what's happening in sports right now. Well,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: that ain't the only thing happening in sports, And how
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: dare you overlooked the grievous, sad news that's coming out
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: of the Texas. Let me point this out to you.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Not only have to quarterback Deshan Wasson requested a trade
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: that J. Watt we know that asked to be released
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: by the Texans. The Texans have released J. J. Watt.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: They have your best offensive player gone, your best wide
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: receiver gone, and now your ask defensive player and man
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: of the year. Such a schellar outstanding student. Everybody wants
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: out of Houston right now? What the hell is going on?
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Let's go down to this Westbrook is gone. Chris Paul
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: is gone, James Hardness gone, yes. D Hop is gone.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: D Hop gone. J J. Watt is gone, yes, And
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: and the Sean Wasson is gone left the Shan is
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: not left yet. I'm sorry, will be gone. He will go, yes,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: but it has it's not official yet. He took all
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the text and stuff, all his Twitter feed and everything. Okay,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: that's fine, that's fine. Was you holding on? Let's let's
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: let's let's let's let's do this. Where about Joe tem
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: what is Cleveland doing? Where about that was playing in
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the playoffs when y'all ass was at the house, he
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: at first team? This all the time. I need damn
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: you try to do sports. Yeah, gloss over of course,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: happening with the Texas, that ragged ass football team. I'm
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: not gonna do this. I'm not going to do this
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: with you this morning. Man, I'm not going to do
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: this with you this morning. I'm not the same thing. Okay,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: don't do it with me this morning. Okay. No, all
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I'm saying is is this, we're by Cleveland. Let me
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: figure out what we're gonna do with these Texas. Let
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: you figure it out. What is you gonna do? He's
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: the coach. You ain't got no money to keep nobody that, Shelley,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: You ain't gonna been to being in sports anyway. Be
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: quiet right now. You need to get your money and
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: go over there and buy a damn generator. And quick
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: word about the damn Texas. All right, thank you for sports,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: and have you coming out. We're sending it. We'll be
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: back in twenty minutes after right after this, you're listening,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Morning, a brutal winter storm has hit a
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: huge portion of the country, dumping large amounts of snow.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: If you've been watching the news, you've been seeing below
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: freezing temperatures, icy conditions all over, millions of homes or
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: without electricity, and the icy roads led to pilots on
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the highways around the country. Also, a deadly tornado ripped
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: through southeastern North Carolina late Monday night, causing major devastation
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: and claiming three lives. Sad to say, so, we're just
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: asking that you guys please stay safe, you know, as
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: you wait for power to be restored in your homes. Uh, Tommy,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you know something about that firsthand. I do. Power's going
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: out several times in my house. Um power, water has
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: gotten really, really low. The roads are really bad. You
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: don't know what slippery you think you know, and that
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you know, that's what they call black ice. Man. Yeah,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: people out there driving, and you know, you see people
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: who got their as us on and they're scared and
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: they're just trying to get somewhere. You know, I'm assuming
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: it's something that you gotta get to. And people are driving,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you know, trying to be careful, and then somebody come
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: up on the side of you hit it. They haul
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: in sixty sixty five miles an hour. You're like, are
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: you kidding me right now? Are you seriously driving that fast?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Come on, man, If we if we all could just
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: be safe and look out for each other, we'd be
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: a lot better. But you got some you got some
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: idiots out there that just do not want to play
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the safe game. Yeah, and that's true. Please stay safe
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: while you wait for your power, contact your support network,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: let your people know that you're okay, check in to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: see if they're okay. Just be safe, Be safe. Please.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this, you're
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time for CLO the
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey the cloth as the nephew
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: calls him. You're ready, sir, I know you are all right.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Lakisha and Hampton, Virginia says, I'm in my late twenties
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: and my best friend and I bought a home together.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Her boyfriend moved to our city a month ago and
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: he's been staying with us. She said it would only
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: be for a week, but he's still here. He's chipped
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: in financially and that's all finding good, but I don't
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: want his money and I don't want him to get
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: comfortable here. I told my best friend he's got to go,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: and she said it's her home too, and it's okay
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: for him to stay another month if he needs to.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: How can I get him to leave asap? Please advise? Well,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I don't think you can because you all own the
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: home equally. You have no agreement that you can't have guests,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: overnight guests. You have nothing in place that says how
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: long you should have guests, So I don't see how
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: you can make him leave. On another note, right, whom, Yeah,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: this is why you don't do things like this. Man.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: This is probably the biggest purchase of your life, and
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you do it not with your fiance, not with your husband,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: but with your best friend and all y'all want to
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: have all the lives. Yeah, yeah, So I mean, I
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: don't know how you can leave. And her best friend
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Celo is correct. It's her house too, right, that's the deal.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: So right, it's my house. And so you're not going
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: to be able to get him to leave until they're
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: ready for him to go, and he might stay forever,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: all right. Uh, Felicia walking around nicket though, I'm just
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: telling you walking around naket it helps, Felicia and Charlotte says.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: My husband and I have been married for eight years,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: and he recently got an SUV with cameras in the
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: headrest for our four and six year old to watch
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: movies when they take road trips. Yesterday, he drove me
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: to get coffee, and as soon as he cranked up
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: and plugged in his phone, I heard sex sounds coming
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: from the TVs. God. Yes, he started fumbling to turn
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: it off, and he turned bright red. He said it
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: must be a glitch in the entertainment system. I think
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: he had a woman back there watching porn. Am I
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: jumping to conclusions? God? Wait a minute, but you said
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: it was connected to his phone. Yeah, he plugged it. Yeah,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: as soon as he cranked up the car and plugged
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: in his phone, she heard the sounds. Well, I mean,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: that's a bluetooth. I think. I don't know if it
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: has anything to do with him having a woman back
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: there watching pown. I'm thinking he's got pawn on his
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: phone and the bluetooth picked it up and ran it
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: through the system. I mean, you know, because unless you
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: have that stuff downloaded in your car somewhere, I don't
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: see how that can be. It's the bluetooth is what
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: comes into play to me. Coming up. It is our
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: last break of the day, and of course we'll have
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: some closing remarks from one and only Steve Harvey at
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after right after this you're listening show
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: all right here, we are our last break of the
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: day on this Wednesday. Um again, we gotta tell everyone
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: to be safe out there if you're you know, somewhere
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: where the weather's really bad and it's black eyes out there,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: all of that. It's really good to get somewhere to
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: do his show from Houston. But you know what we've
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: been doing because the COVID is having everybody do it
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: from home, and so you know, nobody's getting on plane.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: So carl a junior day out. Tommy got rich friends,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: so you know stop dead. Well if you're a rich uncle,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: you know he got rich friends. So he went on
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: one o day rich ass house and they got whole
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: radio set up in the house. I'm working. You want
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: to add to night. You know the chateau chateaus is
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: around other chateaus, so ain't like you can just had
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: the projects and then the chat told and there's some
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: partment buildings you know, don't work like that anyway, Be
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: safe out there, please. And it's also ash Wednesday, by
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: the way, Yeah it's ash Wednesday. And you know, and
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Monica put that in show because you know she cathocked
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: yet she had to you getting the thing put on
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: your They put a bigger one on Monica's forehead. They
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: say they putting them on with qcause, well, on Monica's forehead,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: they're gonna use a paint brush. Would you stop? And
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: why are you saying that? I know why cause the
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: size of her forehead. You know, you put a qute
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: tip up there, you're gonna just think she frowned. You
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: know so said unless she put them bangs on her
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: forehead and you have a big forehead. I didn't notice it,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: and you got Okay, should we go down the list
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: of what everybody has? All right, you got big ass
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: right right after the foehead. You got a high butt.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: If you put all our worst features on one on
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: one body, my eyes are cut. Let let me go
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: down the line. Okay, Monica's fauehead, Shirley's big guys, let's
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: see what we're gonna take from your high all right,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: my hot but now what Paul Steve, you gonna take?
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Pick lips or nose? Pick which you ever one? I
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: say lips, pick the lips. Yeah, okay, okay, let's go
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: with your profile. We are heady, got my butt. Okay,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: we're gonna keep moving. Well, we can't see your high
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: ass until your turn sideway. Okay, so wait, let's picture
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: this person though. Okay, big forehead, big eyes, big lips,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna get it drawn up watch
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: and a high butt. That is crazy sounding. We gotta get.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: We gotta get junior and callers features. What's what's what's
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: what's Let's be careful Julia got good head. I like Julia.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: We're gonna put Junior hell on there. What he has
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: left of it? Yeah, good hair in places, we're gonna
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: put time for him to let go and let god, man,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: what are you doing? Yeah? And he has a high voice,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: so you gotta put that in there when you Okay, yeah,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: what y'all gonna pick from? Calling everything? Everything? Okay, we're
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: gonna have a pair of keys in a hand because
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: she'll kill a car. We're gonna have that in Okay,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: let's just use her criminal record. Okay, she does not
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: have a criminal record. See, all her stuff is allegedly
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: every allegedly a crazy looking person. That's gonna be one
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: crazy getting drawn up. Yeah, the South is going through
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: right now, you know. Then the biggest thing I don't
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: think y'all know about it. Pipes are bursting in all
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: these houses. That's what's really going on. Pipes are bursting.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: So you got people like especially if you got upstairs
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: downstairs water just you know, once a pipe burst, that's it.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: And then especially if you don't know how to turn
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: it off, it's really bad. So it's it's not good.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Right now, we had pipe burst in our house one
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: time when we were out our house for a year.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I believe, I believe a year the whole year for
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: them to fix it, because they have to go inside
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: the walls. It happen, you gotta pull out all the
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: sheet rock. We were out out of town. What happened
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: in the kitchen when we were out of town for
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: a weekend. So that means the water just going down
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: down down our kitchen on the third floor of our house.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Really okay, let's go back to that right there. See
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: this is what a lot of folks are relating with
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you when the hout, when the pipers it turned, when
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: you got to the third floor and your kitchen was
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: on the kitchens on the third floor, see that when
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: it turned. We were with you, wet when the pipes busted.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: We were with you when you told them when you
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: said the kitchen was on the floor. Go ahead, the kitchen.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: It's the main level of the house. M it's on
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: the main level. That's the third living room, down the
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: room all that but the third level though, but there's
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: two levels under that and how many levels above that?
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Two more that side. You're doing the man with me,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: see your busted pipes, We're not going to accept them
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: when when that's what the insurance come to see, sir? What?
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's crazy, Steve. Oh and by the way,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I saw your Instagram uh for Valentine's you and Marjorie.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: That was yeah, I surprised. I flew into Aspen and
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: you really did surprise her because she jumped on you
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: like Whitney jumped on Bobby that time he got out
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: of jail. Can we not be? Can we not use
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: that as a company? Canake? She can't sing? And I
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: angel gonna go Keenan Thompson our special guest tomorrow. For
